(The camera opens up to Mikaela Street in the Fight Grid Studio ready to give us some breaking news on what occurred on Saturday night after the camera went off the air.)
Mikaela Street: HELLO! EAW Universe and wrestling fans alike! My name is a Mikaela Street and I have some breaking news to tell. Right after Showdown went off the air, there was a vicious attack. We now have footage of what happened.
(The footage from a few nights ago starts to play…)
(Kyra Phillips is standing by and she looks a bit shook, this is right after Showdown on Saturday Night in the most dangerous place of any Brand in the EAW… the dreaded Parking Lot. PJ Hendrix is lying on the concrete all bloodied up, his head split open, blood everywhere as Pandora and Amir standing by the side with Londyn holding Jon Kelton back.)
Jon Kelton: YOU WANT TO MESS WITH MY FRIENDS!? YOU WANT TO CROSS MY FAMILY!? YOU DON’T JUST COME TO SHOWDOWN AND SHOW OUT, BITCH! NAH…. NAH….. WE ARE THE DEVOLUTION AND THIS IS OUR BRAND!
Pandora Paisley: Come on love, let’s go!
(Amir Yusuf just laughs but Pandora pulls him away too as the Devolution slowly start to make their way out of the scene and parking lot. The camera shifts to Kyra Phillips where medical personnel are now attending PJ Hendrix and making sure that he is alright, but he’s unconscious and they are trying to stabilize his neck)
Kyra Phillips: I am here standing outside the arena parking lot, and we just learned of a vicious attack by The Devolution on PJ Hendrix, main Jon Kelton the reigning National Elite Champion! We don’t know the status of PJ Hendrix who had just made his debut tonight in front of a packed house, but it was quickly cut off. We don’t know the status of PJ Hendrix and Midsummer Massacre. But we will definitely keep you updated! Someone get him some help, please!
(The medical staff continue to work with him as we see Usagi Senshi run out to check on her friend and being concerned.)
(The scene ends and shifts back to Mikaela Street who is standing by in the Fight Grid Studio.)
Mikaela Street: It was a horrific scene, and we did find out that PJ needed 7 staples on his head and suffered a concussion, he will not be cleared in time for Midsummer Massacre, so the question was, who was going to team with Usagi Senshi. Kennedy Street, the General Manager of Showdown is standing by ready to make an announcement.
(The camera now switches to the beautiful Kennedy Street who seems to be in Quebec right now.)
Kennedy Street: Thank you Mikaela. As we know, PJ Hendrix was attacked by Jon Kelton, the other members of Devolution were also involved. Unfortunately, honey, PJ is not medically cleared to compete so that puts this match in jeopardy. There were options, Usagi can go at it alone, or she can pick one of the Elitists on the Blue Brand to team with her to face Pandora Paisley and Amir Yusuf. That is when I received a call from someone that begged me to allow this Elitist to team with Usagi Senshi.
(Kennedy Pauses and then nods….)
Kennedy Street: So, Kennie went with it and while this goes against everything that moi wanted, it was the best case scenario for Usagi and give her the best chance to be successful at Midsummer Massacre. The partner has been picked and it will be….. AYU MEGUMI. Yes, the Ice Aces are reunited. Good luck.
