Rising Star of the Week
Michael Machina
This week’s Rising Star of the Week is Michael Machina! Michael Machina competed on Dynasty, and this was in a match where the odds were not in his favor. Despite being undefeated, he was really put to the test as he went up against THREE Elitists in a handicap match. Those three were Juggalo Sally, Sorn and Mercer McKay. These odds made victory seem impossible, yet somehow Michael Machina was able to do the impossible and overcome such incredible odds, picking up yet another huge victory. Congratulations to Michael Machina, who continues to impress!
Beef of the Week
Drake King vs Mr. Wrestling XIX
This week’s Beef of the Week was the match between Drake King and Mr. Wrestling XIX on Voltage! This was an interesting promo battle between the EAW World Champion and the newcomer Mr. Wrestling XIX, who already had a disliking for the Champion when he entered EAW. This made for a great week of promos as both of their beliefs clashed and it was made very clear exactly why Mr. Wrestling XIX doesn’t like Drake King and many other Elitists in EAW. This entertaining back and forth was a very good showcase of what both men are capable of, making Voltage’s opening match something to look forward to.
Show of the Week
Voltage
The Show of the Week for this week was Voltage! Voltage this week was stacked, with matches such as Drake King versus Mr. Wrestling XIX, POTARA versus Ruler and Donovan Duke, Minerva versus Michael S. Connor, Dr. Bethany Blue versus Valerie Hellstorm and more. This show was filled with great matches, and on top of those matches this show saw Dray Fontana make his return to EAW, more events shaping Bloodsport such as the match between Rex McAllister and Minerva becoming official and even more. This show had everything, and heading into Bloodsport it’s clear that Voltage is at the top of its game.
Match of the Week
Jon Kelton vs Scott Diamond
The Match of the Week for this week was the main event of Showdown, the match between Jon Kelton and Scott Diamond! This was a very competitive match that really ended up making for an exciting main event for the blue brand. The National Elite Champion Jon Kelton was up against a major threat in Scott Diamond, and this match ultimately would end without a decisive finish with the involvement of Sheridan Müller, but even with this in mind these two had a match that delivered in every way. Showdown was great, and the performances these two had made for a great main event and a great way for this show to end.
Promoer of the Week
Dr. Bethany Blue
The Promoer of the Week for this week was Dr. Bethany Blue! This was Dr. Bethany Blue’s first match since Pain for Pride, and in the end this made for an amazing week of promos from the former Universal Women’s Champion as she went up against Valerie Hellstorm. With her title loss still fresh on her mind and the world wondering exactly why she chose to attack Cameron Ella Ava, she had a lot to offer this week and she absolutely delivered. Dr. Bethany Blue has always been one of the best and she proved it again this week against an opponent she managed to keep her focus on despite everything that’s occurred as of late. This was another fantastic week for Dr. Bethany Blue!
Champion of the Week
Kassidy Heart
This week’s Champion of the Week is the Universal Women’s Champion, Kassidy Heart! On Dynasty Kassidy had her first match since Pain for Pride, and in this match she took on Drake Armstrong! Kassidy Heart is undoubtedly one of the most dominant Elitists in all of EAW, and on Dynasty she proved that once again as she added another victory to her record, her first of season seventeen. This Championship reign is already off to a big start with Miku Sakai after her, and despite Miku’s appearance after the match, this match against Drake Armstrong was a great match to show what Kassidy is capable of. Congratulations to the Universal Women’s Champion!
Most Valuable Elitist
Alex Myers & Jamie Cross
This week’s Most Valuable Elitists were Alex Myers and Jamie Cross! On Voltage these two competed in a match against both the Hardcore Champion TLA and the 24/7 Contract holder Roberto De La Rosa. This was a match that’d feature controversy thanks to Champagne Charlie making a very surprising appearance to attack TLA with a sledgehammer, but ultimately this made way for Alex and Jamie to pick up a huge victory. Despite the circustances it’s undeniable just how significant a win like this is, so congratulations to Alex snd Jamie, who walk into their respective Championship matches at Bloodsport with a victory over a Champion and 24/7 Contract holder under their belts.
