(RECAP–The recap replays all the Showdown action from Casablanca, Morocco. Before the show, Heidi Huxley introduces Mr. Stan Baylor who is here to do an assessment on the Showdown brand. Lexi defeats Lila Vandran in singles action. Adam Lucas then comes out to air his frustrations and then defeats Indie star Manvel in an impromptu match. Hunnid Honcho and Mary S. Atlas then defeated Lucas Johnson and Komatsu Ogawa in tag team action. Xander Payne is then interviewed talking about Territorial Invasion and the future. Then Veena Adams defeats Abel Atami who then shoves Antonne Prudence after the match. Chris Elite and Heidi Huxley talk in the back and Heidi tells Elite to either step it up or step out. Jon Kelton defeats Ryan Wilson, but Ryan attacks Jon after the match as Xander Payne watches. Then Holly Arrow gives Jake Smith a pep talk and help him feel better. Then Alex Myers defeats Chris Elite and the two competitors shake hands after the match. Finally, Hurricane Hawk confronts Impact and Kassidy after their actions at Territorial Invasion. It reaches a boiling point where Hurricane Hawk makes a tag team Outback Street Fight for No Regards. If Hawk’s team wins, the person who gets the fall regardless of the person in the fall, wins the Answers World Champion. If Impact and Kass win, then Hawk must step down as General Manager. Then Kassidy and Impac attack Hawk before Alex Myers runs to the ring to help Hawk. They hit Impact and Kass with a chair before they head up the ramp and Alex tells them to bring it on as the recap ends…)
(“Brick Wall” by A Day to Remember plays throughout the arena while the camera pans across the raucous and excited crowd, who are on their feet at the Dakar Arena in Dakar, Senegal for the action of Saturday Night Showdown. The sound is almost deafening in the arena here tonight as the camera slowly goes throughout the arena showing all the loyal and devoted EAW fans in attendance that are all through sold out arena holding up their many many signs and wearing the shirts and other merchandise of the many EAW Elitists before settling down at ringside where Eve, Deadprez, and Gavin Kirkland are sitting at the commentary table ready to call all the amazing Showdown action.)
Deadprez: We are on our way to No Regards! This is SATURDAY. NIGHT. SHOWDOWN! We are live in beautiful Dakar, Senegal. I am Deadprez and alongside Gavin Kirkland and Eve, we will be here calling all the amazing action.
Gavin Kirkland: Deadprez, you get it right on the money every week when you tell the world that we have all the amazing action and all the Showdown Elitists that bring it. Every member of the Showdown roster is going to do everything they can to make sure they get to compete at No Regards.
Eve: That is absolutely right. Tonight, we will be hearing from Alex Myers talking about what they did last week. We will also be hearing from the Universal Women’s Champion Harper Lee here tonight.
Deadprez: Speaking of No Regards, we will also be hearing from Showdown General Manager Hurricane Hawk will be picking his team for No Regards to take on Impact and Kassidy Heart. It will be a Tag Team OUTBACK STREET FIGHT at No Regards, but it’s almost like a built in fatal four way as well, but it could come at a big cost to Hawk for wanting to teach Kass and Impact a lesson. If Hawk’s team wins, the individual who picks up the fall becomes the NEW Answers World Champion. Note that Impact doesn’t even have to be involved in the decision for the title to change hands. But if Impact and Kass win, Hurricane Hawk MUST step down as the Showdown General Manager.
Gavin Kirkland: Dangerous situation indeed for our General Manager. Of course we have so many great matches here tonight to once again show the world that WE WRESTLE!! WOOOOO!! We have Holly Arrow taking on the dangerous Lexi, but they have a special guest referee. Who is it going to be? We will find out tonight. We also have the Self-Professed Best in the World Xander Payne taking on Abel Atami with Antonne Prudence at ringside. Have Abel and Antonne got back on the same page? They need to be or this will be a long night for Abel.
Eve: Those are some pretty fire matches, but look at what else we have on tap for tonight. We have the National Elite Champion in action. Donovan Duke is back and he is taking on Roberto De La Rosa in Championship Match Qualifier. Will Roberto be able to pick up a huge victory and get himself a future title match? We also have Adam Lucas with that new intense attitude taking on Harley Lewis, but Lewis will not be coming alone because he will have Lucas Johnson and Komatsu Ogawa in his corner. Will the numbers game overpower the intensity? That’s all going to be tonight.
Deadprez: The matches are all on fire, but look at what we got for our main event. This match could main event any FPV event. In our main event, we have the dangerous duo of Kassidy Heart and the Answers World Champion Impact taking on former Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Elite and Mr. Cash in the Vault Jake Smith, The Haircare Kings. What a match this will be, but right now, let’s get started with Saturday Night Showdown.
(The camera cuts to the entrance ramp where “Manners” by BAND-MAID starts playing and the crowd goes absolutely crazy when Alex Myers enters the arena as everyone in attendance explodes in cheers as Alex Myers would step through the curtain and onto the stage. They look around the arena, before taking a deep breath and making their way down the ramp.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you at this time… They call themself the GUARDIAN ANGEL’… ALEX MYERS!!!!!!!
Eve: Ever since being drafted to Showdown at the beginning of the season, Alex Myers has been on a mission to prove why they are one of the best that Showdown has to offer, and they have been able to do exactly that.
Gavin Kirkland: Even though they may have lost the New Breed Championship at Territorial Invasion, they proved last week that losing the Championship was not going to stop their momentum whatsoever when they defeated a former World Champion and Hall Of Famer in Chris Elite.
Deadprez: But it was what they did after the match and at the end of the show that was talked about the most, when they stood up to Impact and Kassidy Heart, sending a message to them while coming to the aid of Hurricane Hawk – and we are going to get an explanation as to why exactly they did what they did right now.
(Alex Myers would enter the ring, as they are handed a Microphone. They would walk around the ring for a few moments as ‘Manners’ begins to slowly fade out in the distance. Alex would then move to the center of the ring, listening to the reaction given by the crowd as they lift their Microphone up.)
Alex Myers: Have I ever told you all just how great it feels to be on Showdown? :wow:
Crowd: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :blessed:!!!!!!!!!
(Alex would smile at the loud reaction that they were given as they continue to speak.)
Alex Myers: You know, season 16 has kind of been up and down for me since the start. I started out as the New Breed Champion, and although I was being put in high profile matches against the likes of Impact and Jack Ripley, I lost the big matches that I was a part of. For MONTHS I had to deal with aBeL aTAmI before I finally got rid of him and retained the New Breed Title in the process… but then I had to deal with Ruler, and even though we were finally able to put a year’s worth of suffering to rest… I lost the New Bree Championship at Territorial Invasion. Ruler was the better man. Ruler was the better man on that night, and I can admit that. So after how my season has been – after I lost the New Breed Championship – the question of “what is next for Alex Myers?” was left out in the open. And well… it finally gave me the time to reevaluate myself, and I did. It gave me the time to really look in the mirror to see the two halves I have been since being here in EAW and it was time to do what I came here to do; be not only one of the best elitists but to be the one that people talked about and smiled every time I come out here and I put on another performance of the year. After losing, it was time for a reflection but then I realized… it was time to move on from being the New Breed Savior, and to expand out and become the Guardian Angel that I know I am.
Alex Myers: And if there is one thing that I was able to prove last week, it was that even though I lost the New Breed Championship – even though I am now “penniless” – I did not lose momentum. I PROVED that when last week, in the main event of Showdown, I beat Chris Elite right in the middle of the ring. I beat a former World Champion and Hall Of Famer clean in the middle of the ring with no bullcrap to excuse it. I proved that I am still one of the very best on the Showdown roster, and beating Chris Elite… getting that huge of a win like that is what fueled my desire even more. My desire to be looked at as the best. My desire to make sure that this brand stays the way it is – to keep the identity of “WE WRESTLE”, and last week, after what I saw going down… I found my calling; to protect the sanctity of the sport that I loved most. So when I saw what Kassidy Heart and Impact did… when I saw what they did to Hurricane Hawk… blindsiding him and attacking him when he couldn’t protect himself… I wasn’t just going to stand back and let it happen. I wasn’t just going to allow for them to think that they can get away with it because Kassidy has made some connections by sleeping with the boss or Impact thinks he can do what he wants because he is a ten time World Champion, it wasn’t happening. Not at all.
(They take a step back, taking a moment to listen to the crowd as they know what they are getting themself into by speaking their mind as they would go ahead and continue.)
Alex Myers: I am SICK of people like Kassidy Heart and Impact thinking that they own the place just because they have been here for a while, or that they are Hall Of Famers and really successful, or because they have connections – enough of that. I faced Impact earlier this season in which he beat me, but that was because I was not 100% heading into the match. He had to beat me when I was already injured from earlier that night. But now I watch what these two are trying to do and I am not going to allow for it to happen. I am going to be the reminder to the world that there are more people than the normal names that are here to step up and take, not wait for their spot. Because I may not be an Impact, or a Kassidy Heart, or any other top name that you could mention that is a former World Champion and / or Hall Of Famer, but I am myself. And I am one of the very best on the Showdown roster even despite the expectations being extremely high when there are so many top names on this brand. I have proved why I am one of the best on so many different occasions and this isn’t any different. I am the perfect representation of a member of the Showdown roster and no one can tell me otherwise.
Alex Myers: Hurricane Hawk drafted me to the Showdown brand early this season, and no matter if I was the New Breed Savior or now being able to focus on being the Guardian Angel, I have been making sure that I prove to him – and everyone else exactly why I was one of the best picks he could have made. Impact and Kassidy think that they are going to be able to just run this place but it wasn’t going to be that easy and they are going to realize that. Because I for one am not going to back down. I for one am not going to let them do it. I am going to shove them down to the ground and I am going to make sure that they see that there are Elitists like myself back there who are ready to take their place as a great. To take their opportunity and won’t stay back. They have more threats appearing right in their faces serving as obstacles and even though it may not look like it – even though it may not seem like it – I am going to serve as one of the biggest obstacles that they may not be able to overcome. I know that I stirred the hornet’s nest, but I don’t give a damn about being stung. They can try and put me out of my misery and try and keep me down, but they are going to learn the hard way that it isn’t as easy as they may think it is.
Alex Myers: I am the one with no fear – I am the one with a desire bigger than what is nothing more than selfish wants – and Impact and Kassidy Heart are going to both realize that in the end.
(Alex Myers would set the Microphone down, as they give a bow to the fans, receiving a huge standing ovation as ‘Manners’ begins to play throughout the speakers once more. They have a smirk on their face, as they would leave the ring and begin to make their way back up the ramp.)
Gavin Kirkland: WOW! We knew that Alex Myers wasn’t going to just stand back and watch as Impact and Kassidy cause mayhem, but they have just left us with a lot to take in.
Eve: Alex made their point. They said that they are going to be the reminder to the world that there are more than just the normal names that are ready to take their moment and Alex knows that they are going to make the absolute most of it. They are definitely a huge threat to them and they better not underestimate Alex Myers in any way.
(The final image is of Alex Myers, posing at the top of the stage as the fans in attendance continue to give them a loud reaction of cheers. Alex would then walk to the backstage area as Showdown cuts to commercial ad for No Regards before cutting back to ringside and Gina Romano.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and Gentlemen, the opening contest of Showdown has a twenty-minute time limit and is scheduled FOR!

(The crowd cheers loudly as “Zetsubousei: Hero Chiryouyaka [Release Version]” by Soraru starts playing. Arrow enters the arena with loud cheers from the crowd. She stands at the top of the entrance ramp for a second before making her way to the ring.)

Deadprez: Here comes Holly Arrow who is looking to shake off the loss she suffered against Harper Lee for the Universal Women’s Championship at Territorial Invasion.
Gavin Kirkland: She had a great match but the Captain won, this week a win would help her bounce back for sure.
(‘Mr. Brightside’ by the Killers plays through the speakers of the arena, as Lexi comes out of the big screen with a large smile on her face. Hoping her way down to the ring but her focus solely on her opponent.)
Gina Romano: AND HER OPPONENT! From Detroit, Michigan! Weighing in at 117 pounds! She Is The Motor City Machine Gun! LEXI!!!!
Deadprez: After a string of losses in a tag team she managed to score a win against Lila Vandran in single competition last week!
Gavin Kirkland: A good match for Lexi who is still looking for her breakout and a win against Holly would help get her closer to her big break!
Gina Romano: AND NOW! The special guest referee!!
( ‘7 Rings’ by Ariana Grande plays over the sound system as The Princess of Professional Wrestling is making his way to the ring with a look of extreme confidence to herself. )
Deadprez: WHAAAAAT????
Gavin Kirkland: YESSSS!!!!!
Gina Romano: From Greenwich, Connecticut! Weighing in at 121 pounds; She Is The Golden NIECE! VEENA ADAAAAAAAAAAMS!!!!!!!!
Deadprez: What Is she Doing As Special Referee???
Gavin Kirkland: No Clue! But I’m happy she’s here! I’m sure she will be calling that match down the line!
( As he says that, the Golden Niece is inside the ring making sure both Holly and Lexi don’t have any weapons or themselves, she is overdoing it. Lexi seems annoyed and already Veena looks like she is warning her that she won’t take any crap. )
Veena Adams: RING THE BELL!!!
( Ding! Ding! Ding! )
Deadprez: AND HERE WE GO! This match is officially underway! Both ladies are locking up in the middle of the ring under supervision from Veena who looks bored already. Lexi moves into a headlock with Holly who slips behind her opponent and locks Lexi’s head under her arm right back! She follows it with a wristlock, Lexi winces but she rolls and jumps reversing the move!
Gavin Kirkland: Display of agility early on by the Detroit-born Lexi who whips Holly into the ropes. She goes for a clothesline but Holly ducks AND ALMOST SLAMS INTO VEENA!! Arrow got the breaks in right on time and Veena talked lip at her wondering what she is trying to pull!
Eve: Lexi is standing behind Holly, she looks like she wants to do some mischief but somehow goes against it as she goes to spin Arrow around but gets clocked with a lariat! Down goes Lexi BUT she throws a kick into Holly’s legs forcing her down to a knee! This gives time for Lexi to get up and throws a shoot kick to Arrow who grabs on!
Deadprez: Down goes Lexi with a takedown, Holly now atop of Lexi throwing punches BUT LEXI REVERSES THROWING ELBOWS! Soon both end up back on their feet after Lexi got pushed off of Arrow who throws a spinning heel kick ducked by Lexi who throws a leg sweep! Arrow hops over it BOTH THROWS A KNEE AT EACH OTHER this calls it for both of them as they suddenly rush to the ropes. They duck each other’s clothesline attem-
Gavin Kirkland: Our Queen had enough of this though! Look at Veena moving in the center of the ring to stop these two from monkeying around! They are being ordered to fight! Not trying to beat each other up like high school bullies at the bicycle rack! Lexi looks at Veena wondering what she is on about and Holly shrugs at the interruption.
Veena Adams: Well come on, FIGHT!!
Eve: She doesn’t need to ask Lexi twice as she throws a leg to Holly’s midsection! Irish whip into a corner she rushes against Arrow throwing a knee to the gut in the process! A few elbows to the head later she grabs the second rope and shoulder tackles Jake Smith’s girlfriend with force!
Deadprez: AND SUDDENLY HOLLY MOVES AND REVERSES THE ROLES THROWING LEXI INTO THE CORNER AND THROW ELBOWS AND FISTS! KICKS AND KNEES ON TERRY CHAMBERS’ YOUNGER SISTER!! Quick thrown action from Holly who wants to remind everyone what she is made of!
Gavin Kirkland: Meanwhile Veena is looking on but she stares at her nail polish again bored by the action she is supposed to look after. But Arrow doesn’t care as she whips Lexi into the ropes TAKING HER DOWN WITH A HIGH KNEE BUT LOOK AT LEXI SHE SCHOOL BOY’ED ARROW!!!
Eve: Veena hasn’t noticed! OH, now she does and drops down for the count.
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Eve: And Holly lifts the shoulder up! Lexi let go of her quickly, moving to her feet and moves into Adams’ face, seems like Lexi isn’t going to take the kind of crap that can cost her a match very kind-AND HOLLY IS TRYING FOR A SURPRISE ROLL-UP OF HER OWN! But Veena takes her time!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Deadprez: Lexi kicks out and as she moves to her back manages to kick Holly square in the face keeping her on the ground.
Lexi: DO YOUR F****** JOB RIGHT!!!
Veena Adams: Whatever, girl…. I AM THE REFEREE!
Eve: Holly is moving to her feet as the other two are arguing AND LEXI THROWS IN A BACKSPIN KICK AS SHE SENSED ARROW WAS ABOUT TO STRIKE FROM BEHIND!! AND LEXI DOESN’T WASTE ANY TIME THROWING HOLLY DOWN WITH A HURRICANRANA!!
Deadprez: Perfectly executed by Lexi who seems to be taking control of the match now. Veena watches on as Lexi throws in a series of elbows to Holly in a half-guard position they hit their mark! Lexi then helps Holly to her feet and swings her to the floor with a crisp snap suplex!
Gavin Kirkland: Well done by Lexi WHO THEN GOES FROM A SERIES OF CROSS FACE THROWS right across the face of Arrow! Hard stiff strikes Lexi wants Holly to understand she ain’t messing around as she then goes for an attempt at a DDT but Holly shoves Lexi away and rolls herself out of the ring.
Eve: Not a bad move by Holly considering what was heading her wa-AAYYYYYY!!! LEXI JUST LANDED ATOP OF HER WITH A SUICIDE DIVE AFTER USING THE ROPE FOR HIGHER ELEVATION!!
Veena Adams: GET BACK IN THE RING RIGHT NOW!!!!!!
Deadprez: Lexi isn’t listening as she whips Holly into the barricade and right after forces her against the apron.
Lexi: WHAT?
Veena Adams: BACK… IN… THE…
Lexi: WHAT??
Veena Adams: You lit….

Veena Adams: ONE! TWO!! THREE!!! FOUR!!!! FI-
Gavin Kirkland: Veena is doing a quick count! Quicker than normal!! Much Quicker!! And Lexi whips Holly into the ring, following suit before Adams could make it past nine! That was fast enough that had Lexi been nonchalant she would have gotten both her and Holly counted out!
Deadprez: AND LOOK AT HER SHE’S GOING FOR THE SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB ON HOLLY AND IT LANDS!! WHAT IMPACT AND SHE KEEPS THE SHOULDERS OF ARROW DOWN!!!

Deadprez: That was a slow count from Veena and Lexi glares death daggers in her direction!
Gavin Kirkland: Lexi needs to focus on the task at hand rather than on the referee, she grabs at Holly’s hair moving her to the ropes before APPLYING A BACK STABBER! Down goes Arrow but she is picked up quickly by Lexi not letting her breathe as she throws her into the ropes AND HOPS ON HER IN A LOU THESZ PRESS! LEXI WITH PUNCHES FLAILING AT THE FINAL GIRL AND HOLLY MANAGES TO TURN AROUND AND THROW SOME PUNCHES OF HER OWN BEFORE LEXI SHOVED HER AWAY!
Eve: Both opponents move to their feet, clothesline attempt by Holly evaded sideways by Lexi who kicks Arrow in the gut AND GOES FOR AN UNDERHOOK DDT!!! HOLLY GETS PLANTED and Lexi isn’t going for the pin!
Deadprez: She is waiting for Holly to get to her knees and then up-SHE PLANTS ARROW FACE FIRST AGAIN THIS TIME WITH A RUNNING BULLDOG! ARROW’s in trouble now as Lexi moves to the nearest top rope and perches herself on it waiting for Holly. Meanwhile, Veena barks at Lexi to get down AND SHE DOES IN THE FORM OF A CROSS BODY RIGHT ATOP OF HOLLY!! SHE TRIES FOR THE PIN!!

Eve: Kick out by Holly WHO ROLLS INTO A PINNING PREDICAMENT OF HER OWN!!

Eve: AND LEXI KICKS OUT TOO! Lexi almost got caught by her own momentum AND SHE KICKS ARROW SQUARE IN THE FACE WITH A STIFF BOOT AS SHE GOT UP TO HER FEET! Holly is down, holding her face and Lexi backs herself into the ropes, bouncing for momentum, AND DRIVES A KNEE TO THE FACE OF HER OPPONENT!!!
Deadprez: Lexi to the ropes again, landing on Arrow with a leg drop followed by an elbow, AND THEN A SERIES OF HASTY STRIKES FROM LEXI PUNCHING AWAY AT HOLLY!
Gavin Kirkland: Veena is looking on as Lexi shoves Holly to a corner BUT SHE THEN COUNTER LEXI WITH A TILT-A-WHIRL DDT FROM OUT OF NOWHERE!! LEXI’S HOLDING HER BACK IN PAIN WHILE HOLLY IS TRYING TO GAIN SOME MOMENTUM!
Eve: Arrow picks up Lexi, moving her with an arm SLAMMING HER DOWN WITH A DISCUS FOREARM!! She chains it up with a series of elbow strikes to the face of her opponent who tries to parry as best as she could.
Deadprez: She won’t let Lexi like this for long as she moves her to a vertical base and goes for a discus back elbow that stuns Lexi momentarily FOLLOWED BY A KNEE STRIKE! AND THEN A SINGLE-KNEE BACKSTABBER! And Lexi rolls to the outside of the ring as well. Like Arrow did earlier.
Eve: Veena instantly begins to yell at Lexi to get back inside the ring BUT GETS A HOLLY TO THE FACE WHO JUST PERFORMED TOPE CON HILOOOOOO!! Holly continues with a swinging neck breaker on the floor surrounding the ring and then an Irish whip against the barricade!!
Veena Adams: ONE! TWO!! THREE!!! FOUR!!!! FI-
Deadprez: There she goes again with the fast count! Holly whips Lexi into the ring also barely evading double count out. She moves behind Lexi, hoisting her up AND SLAMMING HER DOWN WITH A WHEELBARROW FACEBUSTER!! That will hurt in the morning!
Gavin Kirkland: She picks up Lexi and whips her into the corner BEFORE CHARGING IN WITH AN EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! SHE RUNS TO THE OPPOSITE CORNER AND THROWS HERSELF INTO A BACK ELBOW! ONCE MORE IN THE CORNER FACING THE ONE LEXI IS HOLDING ONTO… SNAPMARE DROPKICK!! DOWN GOES LEXI!!
Eve: Holly keeps on the charge as she moves Lexi up to her feet. The Detroit girl is barely standing AND ARROW DOESN’T HELP THINGS BY PERFORMING A BRAINBUSTER WITH A PIN RIGHT AFTER!!

Eve: Lexi lifts the shoulder up! Saving herself!
Deadprez: She will need to find a way to recover if she wants to win this match, and there is the Veena factor to consider.
Veena Adams: You talking lip against me Deadprez?
Deadprez: Focus on the match Veena!
Gavin Kirkland: Quit distracting the referee Deadprez, damn!!
Eve: Back in the ring, behind Veena, Holly just headbutted Lexi followed with a leg lariat and a calf kick! Knowing the power Arrow has in her legs, those must be painful for Lexi who then gets kicked in the gut before an Irish Whip sends her into a corner!
Deadprez: Veena’s been staring at me the entire time and finally looks inside the ring just as Holly rushes against Lexi WITH A JUMPING METEORA!! Lexi hangs on by her arms on the ropes against the corner AND HOLLY GOES AT HER AGAIN THIS TIME WITH A MONKEY FLIP THAT SENDS LEXI FLYING TO THE CENTER OF THE RING!
Gavin Kirkland: Ouch! Lexi is holding the high of her back in pain as Holly is moving to the top of the corner from where she propelled Lexi! Gavin Kirkland: Holly is currently in command of the match as she whips Lexi into the ropes and takes her down with a clothesline followed by an elbow drop and a pinfall attempt denied by Lexi who shoves her away before Veena could even hit the deck for a count!
Deadprez: Lexi looking to end things as she tries for Lights Out on Holly WHO REVERSES THIS INTO THE BALLAD OF FALLEN ANGELS! THE TIGER DRIVER 98 LANDS! VEENA GOES DOWN FOR THE COVER!!

Gavin Kirkland: I don’t know what you have against Veena’s officiating job she’s doing fine! There goes Lexi mouthing off against her BUT HOLLY GOT UP AND MOVED BEHIND LEXI AND GOING FOR CANCEL CULTUUUUUUUURE!! THE SATA-OTASHI TRANSITIONED INTO A DDT!!!! HOLLY LOOKS A BIT WOOZY THOUGH! SURELY AN EFFECT OF THE BLOODSHOT BUT SHE GOES FOR THE COVER! Veena shrugs and goes down with her.

Deadprez: And Lexi keeps this match alive!! Holly doesn’t seem to want and waste much time as she goes for the Perfect Game! The bridging Fujiwara armbar and Lexi’s in trouble! Veena is watching on, actually not even asking if Lexi wants to quit she doesn’t seem to even care! Luckily for Lexi she was close enough to ropes to grab on and so Holly has to let go of her.
Gavin Kirkland: Good spacial awareness from Lexi but Holly is still in control as she picks up Lexi and whips her to the ropes. She tries for a spinning heel kick but Lexi ducked under it. She quickly stops, stuffs to the side, AND APPLIES A SUPERKICK TO HOLLY’S JAW!!! LIGHTS OUT FOR ARROW WHO STANDS ON HER OWN FEET DAZED AND STUNNED!
Eve: She moves in front of Holly AND FLIPS OVER HER WITH THE STANDING SHIRANUI!! THE FOH KNOCKS OUT HOLLY COULD THIS BE IT!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: We both know Veena Adams is not your typical person! She’s the niece of the Owner! She can do whatever she wants and if answering a call mid-match is what she wants to do, no one will tell her what to do!
Deadprez: LEXI IS LOOKING IRATE SHE HAD THE MATCH WON!! VEENA STOPPED COUNTING BECAUSE OF HER PHONE SHE’S CURRENTLY TALKING INTO!!!!
(Veena is on her phone nonchalantly talking….)
Veena Adams: Oh totally. The nail appointment works perfectly….
Deadprez: LEXI CAN’T BELIEVE IT SHE IS ANGRY AND SHE GOES TO CONTROL ADAMS WHO MOVES THE PHONE AWAY LOOKING BOTHERED!
Eve: Uh oh Holly is getting up behind Lexi!
Gavin Kirkland: This is Great! Lexi should focus on the match though!
Deadprez: What match? Veena isn’t even doing a proper offi-HOLLY JUST SPUN LEXI AROUND AND NAILED HER DOWN WITH THE PLAYER HATER’S DEGREE!!! THE PUMP HANDLE BELLY-TO-BACK GO TO SLEEP KNOCKED LEXI OUT COLD!! AND NOW ARROW GOES FOR THE VELA-NOVA OMOPLATA CROSSFACE!!! LEXI’S STRUGGLING HER ARMS FLAILING!!
Eve: SHE TAPS!!! LEXI’S TAPPING OUT!!!
Gavin Kirkland: BUT VEENA IS STILL ON HER PHONE!!! It must be an important call!
Deadprez: Holly is letting go of Lexi to focus on Veena, looking just as pissed as Lexi was just moments ago! Veena cost them both a chance at winning the match because of her darn phone! Now BOTH Lexi and Holly are arguing with Veena and the exchange is getting heated real quick, real fast! Holly said she should be the victor, Lexi claiming the same, AND NOW BOTH ARE ARGUING WITH EACH OTHER!!
Eve: AND THEY GO BACK TO TRADING BLOWS!!! These two warrior women aren’t going easy at each other at all throwing hard punches and not holding one swing back! Both of them had ample chances to try and pin the other with a bit of Veena into the mix trying to spice things up in her own way.
Eve: You mean acting like a shoddy official?
Gavin Kirkland: Hey hey now! It’s her first match as a referee, cut her some slack.
Deadprez: Lexi throws Holly into a corner, she joins her quickly throwing punches, followed by a series of elbows BUT Holly counters returning the favor! Veena tries to get between the two of them AND SHE GETS SHOVED BY BOTH!!
Gavin Kirkland: She doesn’t take that very kindly at all as she yells at both competitors
Holly and Lexi: FUCK OFF!!!
Veena Adams: THAT’S IT!!! THIS MATCH IS OVER!!!
Eve: SHE SIGNALS THE TIME KEEPER!!!
( DING! DING!! DING!!! )
( Instead of a winner’s theme song the sound heard all over the arena is that of fans booing Veena who just threw away the match. She yells at the announcer something. )
Bella Braxton: Ladies and Gentlemen, this contest is a DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Woah! Veena DQ’ed BOTH Holly and Lexi for not listening to her! Holy cow I’ve never seen this before.
Deadprez: Veena abused her officiating powers and ruined a perfectly good match if you ask me! Both Holly and Lexi deserved a win and now they have to content themselves with nothing!
Eve: Veena looks happy, look she even laughs as she is about to make her way outside the ring BUT WAIT BOTH LEXI AND HOLLY ARE JUMPING HER!! KICKS AND FISTS PAY BACK FOR THE MATCH BUT ADAMS SLIPS OUTSIDE OF THE RING SAVING HERSELF!
(The final shot of this match is of Veena smirking while both Holly and Lexi are cursing heavily at her as the scene transitions.)
(Saturday Night Showdown fades back in to show the backstage area of the Dakar Arena, more specifically, the personal locker room of The Haircare Kings. The crowd cheers loudly upon the camera showing the two Elitists, Jake Smith and Chris Elite, as they prepare for their high-stakes match later in the night against some tough competition in the form of the Answers World Champion Impact and Kassidy Heart. This is the first time in quite some time that they’ve been in the same room together, and especially considering the tumultuous Territorial Invasion the two of them had respectively, it’s been made apparent that the atmosphere in the room just reeks of awkwardness. It’s dead silent between the two as Jake wraps his wrist tape and Chris laces his boots, and it only takes Jake exaggeratedly clearing his throat for that to subside between the two.)
Jake Smith: Look, I know how you feel.
(Chris stops what he’s doing and turns his head toward Jake, with an ever so slightly annoyed look on his face.)
Chris Elite: Yeah, sure little buddy. 🙂
Jake Smith: I’m serious.
(Chris rolls his eyes causing Jake to stand up from his chair and begin to make his way toward the center of the room.)
Jake Smith: Look dude, you’re feeling down after Territorial Invasion, I get it. Just as you did, I lost in the Anarchy in The Arena match and even after everything last week I’m still finding reasons to doubt myself in spite of that. I wonder what it’s going to take, what is going to be enough, and more importantly, if I have the will to keep going. The answer is obvious, yes, I do. Not just for my sake, but for Showdown’s sake, because they rely on me to be the best Jake Smith I can be so I can be a good representative for the brand that I’ve bled for. Even after everything I still find myself getting up, and look where that’s gotten me.
(Jake looks over to eye the Cash in The Vault briefcase which is next to the chair that he was seated in. Chris looks at it as well, not daring to say anything out loud before he turns to Jake again as he responds.)
Chris Elite: What’s the point?
Jake Smith: What’s the point??? Bro, you need to get your poop together!
(Chris, ignoring the obvious, finally gets out of his seat as well. He steps forward as the two tag partners find themselves face-to-face with one another, with a clear conflict of interest that has slightly divided them.)
Chris Elite: I appreciate the encouragement, Jake, but as much as you want to sympathize with me you would never understand the type of things I’ve had to go through in EAW. Sure I’m a Hall of Famer and all, and that’s nice, but who’s had to go through more [BLEEP] than me for the past four years, and who’s proven them right more times than I have?
(Jake is obviously taken aback by the vulgar cursing in between what Chris is saying.)
Chris Elite: Gawd Contract.
(Jake forgot about that and shakes off what happened, letting Chris continue.)
Chris Elite: I just don’t know man, there’s only so much more I can take. Maybe they are right about me, maybe I’m just not him anymore. Spider-Man lost his powers that one time and lived a happy life, maybe I should do that too instead of wasting my time.
(Jake puts his hands on his hips, thinking in a contemplative manner for a long moment.)
Jake Smith: I think you just have to look at it through my lens for a moment, because if there’s one person that does truly understand, it’s me. I get what it feels like to be so close to something, thinking that you have it in your grasp, and suddenly having it slip away from you. I thought I was really close to a breakout Season after I won at Pain For Pride, and surely you had to have felt the same way as I had. But then when all went wrong and I was left with a string of losses and nothing to show for it, it hurt me just as much as it hurt you now. But you need to understand something, Chris, and it’s the fact that we’re banded together as The Haircare Kings for a reason. Our losses, our failures, they define us, but that’s nothing to be ashamed of. Because we use that as fuel to stick it to the people who doubt us and our abilities. We’re far from done, and the fact of the matter is this is our moment, tonight. All I need from you is the best Chris Elite possible heading into this match and we can beat Kassidy and Impact. Even more… Justified Reckoning.
(Chris closes his eyes knowing exactly what Jake is talking about. Yesterday on Dynasty, the two of them along with Holly Arrow accepted Soul Food Sunday’s challenge for a tag team match at the Dynasty Free-Per-View. But instead of uplifting him, it only seems to make matters worse for the Hall of Famer.)
Chris Elite: Thing is I would’ve believed that if I hadn’t lost to them three times already. Man you know damn well I don’t like to be like this, but can you really blame me? I’m not saying I’m flat-out giving up, because I’ll be damned if those meatriders try to say anything, but it’s hard to keep pushing forward when all you’ve done is fail. I know you tried to sympathize with me or whatever big word you tried to use, but the truth is the two of us are very different.
Jake Smith: I don’t think that’s the case. Because if it was otherwise why would we have gravitated toward one another as much as we have and stay as a tag team as long as we have already? I just need you to get out of this ditch just as I have and get yourself up. It’s like you said, if we beat Kassidy and Impact tonight then everything changes, this could finally be the chance that we need to make a difference and really turn things around.
Chris Elite: Easy for you to say, the difference between you and I is that briefcase.
(Chris points over to it while Jake looks back and over to Chris, while he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.)
Chris Elite: Gives you a guaranteed shot at something I’ve been trying to get for four years now, and guess what? Nothing will take that away from you.
Jake Smith: Chris, come on man…
Chris Elite: Whatever.
(Chris turns around and walks out of the locker room, while Jake tries to follow after him, but in the process he realizes that it’s in his best interest to give him his space. He sighs, taking one last look at the Cash in The Vault briefcase, before continuing to solemnly prepare for the task at hand, all while Saturday Night Showdown begins to fade to ringside showing Gina Romano standing in the middle of the ring, a smile on her face and a microphone in her hand, ready to announce the upcoming match. )
Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS A TWENTY-MINUTES TIME LIMIT SCHEDULED FOR…
Crowd: ONE FALL!
( ‘9 5 . South’ by J. Cole plays throughout the arena. The crowd heavily boos as Abel Atami, with Antone Prudence, walks all the way down from the stage over to the ring. By the look of Abel Atami, he looks very demanding to beat Xander here tonight. )
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST, ACCOMPANIED BY ANTONNE PRUDENCE!!!!… FROM UPOLU, SAMOA!.. WEIGHING IN AT 251 POUNDS!!!!!… HE’S ‘THE POTENTATE’ !!!…. ABELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL ATAMIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Here comes Abel Atami, looking to beat his great teacher here tonight. Are you excited about this match, guys?!
Deadprez: It would be really interesting if Abel has a chance to beat him in this match but… well, I will not judge a book by its cover here.
Eve: We know very well that Abel has been living his life in EAW as a sore loser but maybe tonight is his turning point. Maybe he will be the one to embarrass Xander here!
( ‘It follows’ by Cane Hill plays throughout the arena as the crowd has no different, booing to welcome the Hall of Famer himself, Xander Payne. Xander makes his way down to the stage. He stops for a moment and takes a good look at his lovely student. Xander puts a little smile on his face, warms up his hands then heads over to the ring. )
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST, WRESTLING OUT OF TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA! WEIGHING IN AT 255 POUNDS!… THE EAW HALL OF FAMER, XANDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!… PAYNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: I can feel something emotional here.
Eve: What do you mean by that?

Deadprez: Abel Atami’s teacher is none other than Xander and seems like Abel looks very delighted to give Abel a lesson here in front of us. Let’s see how things will turn out.

Gavin Kirkland: :whew: The match that we have been waiting for here tonight! Teacher vs. Student! Xander vs. Abel! What a historic moment here tonight, ladies and gentlemen! Look at both men’s eyes, they look so ready to tear each other apart! These two have been knowing each other for a very long time! They have been in the same class together! Xander is the one who raised the name of Abel Atami and made his presence known to EAW. Tonight, Abel is here to prove that THIS is his evolution!
Eve: Xander and Abel step out of their corner, and both men join in with a collar and elbow tie-up, but Xander quickly throws Abel’s arm to the ground and looks for a crossface! Abel moves his head from under Xander’s arm, goes from behind, and tries to take Xander down with a Bridging German Suplex!
Deadprez: Xander with a right elbow into his eyes of Abel and lands on his feet. Xander quickly turns around to his student and sends A DAMN OPEN-HANDED CHOP right across his chest! Abel wastes no time and replies to Xander with a forearm smash! Xander stumbles back away just a bit, and in less than a second, Xander quickly bounces back with another open-handed chop!
Gavin Kirkland: Xander tries to grab Abel again and toss him over to the ropes but Abel sends him to the corner instead. Xander’s back hits the corner. Abel runs up and looks for a lariat at the corner but Xander rolls out of his way. Abel stops himself in time and turns his attention to Xander as Xander pops back to his feet and quickly stuns him with a beautiful Step-up, Enzuigiri!
Eve: Abel falls back to the ropes. Xander grabs Abel by his wrist and sends him over to the ropes…. SLINGBLADE IN RETURN BY ABEL ATAMI, SENDING XANDER DOWN TO THE MAT! ABEL PUSHES HIMSELF OFF THE MAT IMMEDIATELY AND CONNECTS XANDER WITH A HUGE STANDING MOONSAULT! XANDER IS DOWN, AND ABEL GOES FOR A COVER!

He needs to show the evolution that he has made! He wants Xander to understand what he tried to talk about for this whole week!
Gavin Kirkland: Abel starts to get back to his feet while Xander remains to stay down on the floor after taking two destructive moves from Abel Atami. Abel heads over to the corner and charges for it. Xander, who doesn’t realize Abel’s movement tries to get himself back to his feet…. LOOK OUT XANDER!
Eve: ABEL GOES FOR A JUMPING DDT BUT XANDER CATCHES HIM WITH A SUPERKICK IN THE MID-AIR! XANDER STEPS BACK TO THE CORNER, AND CONNECTS ABEL WITH ANOTHER ONE WHILE HIS KNEES ARE ON THE MAT!
Deadprez: Xander isn’t going for a pin anything and seems very angry there. Maybe his student’s performance starts to wake a monster inside of him here. Xander instead picks Abel back to his feet. He sends Abel all the way down to the corner and follows Abel with a running shoot kick to his jaw at the corner, sending Abel’s eyes facing the arena’s roof.
Gavin Kirkland: Xander landed his foot on Abel’s jaw and then sent him down into a driver’s seat. Xander warms up his feet just a little bit then heads down to the ropes. Xander bounces back and connects him with a jumping seated senton, but Abel moves out of his face, causing Xander to crash his fat butt down to the mat! Xander handles the pain and tries to get back to his feet but Abel joins back in and quickly sends Xander back down to the mat with a Swinging Neckbreaker!
Eve: Abel gives a little look at his teacher to make sure that he’s going to stay down for a little while. Abel pushes himself off the mat and then heads down over to the corner while Xander stays down on the mat. He climbs up all the way to the top, looking to hit a high-flying move here. This is not looking good for Xander at all.
Deadprez: B- But But but!… XANDER GETS BACK TO HIS FEET AND QUICKLY RUNS DOWN TO ABEL AS HE GRABS HIM! ABEL TRIES TO FIGHT BACK BY USING HIS RIGHT BACK ELBOW, BUT XANDER SENDS A HUGE SHOT OF HIS RIGHT HAND TO THE BACK OF ABEL’S HEAD!
Gavin Kirkland: LOOK AT THE POWER OF EAW’S CANADIAN POLAR BEAR SLAYER! HE LIFTS ABEL UP ON HIS SHOULDERS, WHAT A STRENGTH BY THE HALL OF FAMER! The version that he will be proud of. A kind of elitist that could make his great teacher feels worth teaching and constructing.
Gavin Kirkland: Abel pushes himself off the mat while Xander is still laying down on the mat, surrounded by the misery that Abel putting on him. Abel walks over to his teacher and picks him back to his feet. Abel tosses him to the ropes and tries to catch him with a jumping knee but Xander moves to the side! Abel misses it and Xander quickly drops Abel with a release German Suplex!
Eve: Abel hangs it on, Abel… Wait, Xander gently drops him to his feet…

Gavin Kirkland: XANDER SMACKS THE BACK OF HIS HEAD WITH HIS RIGHT HAND AND SMILES AT HIS STUDENT!
( Abel turns around to Xander and looks at him furiously. )

Deadprez: XANDER WITH ANOTHER KICK OUT! Abel is still trying to put his teacher down to prove that what he taught him is worth his time. Abel always worships Xander as his grandmaster and that’s why he has to do anything to prove to himself that he can beat his teacher while Xander wants to save his ‘Best In The World’ name from getting embarrassed by Abel.
Gavin Kirkland: Abel starts to get back to his feet with him dragging his lifeless body of Xander all the way down to the bottom turnbuckle. Abel tosses the back of Xander’s head right into the bottom turnbuckle as hard as possible, causing him to hold the back of his head in pain. Abel looks down at Xander in anger and starts to stomp the hell out of him! Abel looks completely frustrated with his teacher after what he has been through with his teacher so far in this match.
Eve: The referee runs down to Abel and tries to stop but Abel takes his right foot off Xander right before the referee is about to say something. Deadprez: I must admit that Abel pulled out one of his best here in this match to beat his teacher but by nature logic, teachers are always above students.
Eve: I don’t know where you get that from but regardless, I really enjoyed what Abel brought to Showdown’s table today. He proved to Xander how much he has changed ever since he graduated from Payne Academy.
Gavin Kirkland: That’s a thing?

( ‘It Follows’ by Cane Hill hits the arena as Xander rises back to his feet and the referee raises his hands up to the air as Xander is the winner of this match. Xander barely walks to the ropes, leans, and looks down at poor Abel who just lost another match today. Xander slowly walks over to give a close look at his student. Xander asks Abel politely for a handshake. Abel is just about to accept it but Antonne quickly runs in and breaks them up. Antonne signals Abel to leave the ring with him as Abel rolls down to the outside of the ring and tiredly heads to the back with Antonne. Xander looks at these two in confusion then celebrates his victory over his student then the scene fades to elsewhere. )
(The crowd erupts as ‘Sweet Dreams’ by the Eurythmics hit’s over the PA system, the noise level off the chart as Harper Lee steps out onto the ramp. As usual she wears the same face of disgust at her reaction, and immediately shrugs it off, making her way down to the ring.)
Deadprez: The hits just keep on getting bigger, the Universal Women’s Champion making her way to the ring.
Eve: And there is very little doubt that she has plenty on her mind
Gavin Kirkland: People queuing up all around the block to challenge her, and rightfully so considering this is a prestigious championship we are talking about. Harper though handling her business well now, can she continue her momentum?
(Harper reaches the ring and walks up the steps, dragging her feet on the apron before bending through the strands and then taking a mic from one of the crew. She waits a moment, for her music to die down and then shifts the title belt onto her other shoulder, admiring it for a second. Then, with a chuckle, she brings the mic up to her lips and starts to speak.)
Harper Lee: Yep, it still looks good on me doesn’t it? The belt I worked so hard for, the belt I spilled blood for… it looks kinda cute on my shoulder don’t you think?
(Boos ring out to the negative, Harper shaking her head in disgust.)
Deadprez: I don’t think the fans agree with that sentiment

Harper Lee: No? Does it annoy you all to see me finally getting the recognition my ability has always deserved? Would you prefer to see this belt on the shoulder of someone like Bethany Blue? Or Veena Adams perhaps? Well tough, because I have this belt now, and my reign with it will last as long as I want it to. Perhaps even longer than Queen Elizabeth the Seconds… RIP. This belt is a symbol of the hard work and determination it took to overcome all the obstacles that this company placed in front of me. This belt proves the fact conclusively that I am the best female wrestler in the world… bar none.
(The boos get ever louder, and Harper starts to orchestrate the fans which annoys them even more. With another chuckle she continues her narrative.)
Harper Lee: What you people don’t recognize is the fact that I will always be your best option. If there is someone that epitomizes what this belt means, it is me. Not only would it not look as good around someone else’s waist, no one else would be able to do it justice. And that’s not my fault, that is the way of the world. Eve: What a show. Both of these men went as hard as they possibly could, but only one can come out on top.
(Donovan Duke has his hand raised, while Roberto rolls out of the ring and heads to the back as the camera transitions to the backstage area.)
( Cameras transition backstage, we’re situated in the locker-room of Ryan Wilson! Last week, we witnessed a close match-up involving Ryan as he took on Jon Kelton, falling to a narrow loss against the former New Breed champion. This result is the latest in what can only be described as an unfortunate beginning to Wilson’s season sixteen. At Territorial Invasion, Team Showdown were the first side to be eliminated in the Brand Warfare match; before that he and his tag team partner Lexi suffered defeat against the reigning Unified Tag Team champions, The Prescription! Maybe we saw the cracks begin to show last Saturday, following the ending of his fight with Jon Kelton, Ryan was quick to deliver a nut-crushing low blow to Kelton, pointing in his face and cackling after doing so! As cameras begin to focus in, we see Ryan Wilson pacing from one side of his locker-room to the other, muttering to himself and gesturing with his hands. )
Ryan Wilson: “Need to win.. Get to the top. Can’t tolerate this failure, these losses.. Can’t get to the top if we keep losing matches.. Mm-hmm.. Got to turn it around, around.. Start winning, climb the ladder up-and-up and get to the top.. Hmm.. Good point, so true.”
( As Ryan continues to mumble to himself, the camera follows. What’s clear is these recent failures are getting to him. He persists in whispering, with hands gesturing more-and-more rapidly as he turns on his heel and— stops in his tracks? The camera pans up and across following Ryan’s stare; it’s Xander Payne! Xander is standing with arms crossed, staring at Ryan’s antics as Ryan is staring right back at him. What a strange moment! Wilson slowly lowers his arms and sinks them into his pockets. Payne takes this moment to speak. )
Xander Payne: “I watched your match with Kelton last week, it was a fine effort. If you ran it back and did it again, I’d half a mind to say that you would win. But I have to ask, Ryan, because I don’t really understand.. What’s going on with you, huh? What’re you doing? You have a good head on your shoulders.. Kind of.. Lots of potential. But it seems like every chance you get to show how good you are, you end up staring at the lights. What’s got into you?”
Ryan Wilson: “Yeah, thanks for the pep-talk, Xander. Super helpful.. You don’t think I know I’m not doing good right now, huh? I don’t need to be condescended like this. Just.. Just Leave me alone or something, man. I’ll piece things together again, like I always seem to do.”
( Having heard enough, Ryan Wilson goes to leave. As he walks past Xander, however, the “Wrestling Genius” raises a hand, grasping Ryan’s shoulder and halting his tracks. Xander goes to speak, but he’s cut-off as Ryan shoves him away! Ryan’s facial expression is painted with confusion and fury. Xander doesn’t mind the shove, stepping back and raising hands, insisting he wasn’t attempting to wind Ryan up! Ryan Wilson angrily responds to Xander’s gesture. )
Ryan Wilson: “Nah, nah. What’re YOU doing, huh, touching me? What do you think this is? I don’t need your advice and I don’t need you trying to belittle me. You want to talk about my season and my losses, what about you, Xander? Hardly helped Showdown win at Territorial Invasion now, did you? I don’t need sympathy from a guy like you. Concentrate on your own career instead of trying to instigate me and trying to wind me up, because you’re barking up the wrong tree and I assure you, it’ll come back to bite you in a way which you won’t like.”
Xander Payne: “Alright tough guy, if you say so. But obviously, something’s not working out because for all this talking you do, what has it actually amounted to? You can talk on me all you like to Ryan, the difference is I actually reached my potential, I won the World Heavyweight Championship and held it for over two-hundred days. That’s unquestionable. You say you want to reach the top, I’ve been there, so if you don’t want to listen to my words, that’s fine. But I know what I’m talking about, hell, I back up what I say in the ring unlike you. You can always challenge me to a match if you don’t agree with what I’m saying. Rumour has it there’s a spot on the No Regards show just waiting for you to punch it in.”
Ryan Wilson: “Is that what this is about, Xander? Trying to rile me up so I’ll accept your Best in the World challenge? It’s a good tactic, sure. But is that really a fight you want to get into? You said it yourself, didn’t you. That I have all the potential in the world, capable of doing big things but I just haven’t been able to take things to the finish line, yet. Let’s be real, you’re not exactly in a position to be talking down to me. We’re both down on our luck; wrestling is a sport where there often can’t be two winners. Punking me out, it’s not going to work. Because I have a much better chance of beating you than you’re making out!”
Xander Payne: “Hey man, all I’m hearing is talk. I came here with good intentions, I genuinely want to see you turn this funk around and achieve great things, Ryan. You’re the one who got all pissy and angry with me, I didn’t force that out of you. Like I say, if there’s some kind of issue here and you think you’re above my advice, let’s put it to the test. Otherwise, you can keep feeling sorry for yourself, muttering around backstage like you’re looking for a score.”
Ryan Wilson: “You’re on, man, no more talk. You’re right about me failing from time-to-time, but at No Regrets? I’m going to smash you through the mat. I accept your challenge, Xander, I’m going to make you regret ever coming to find me. Yeah, my season hasn’t been the best, but I have the tools to turn it around. I just need to dig deep enough and tonight, you’ve given me enough reason to do that and so much more. I’ll be seeing you, Xander.”
( A smirk spreads on Xander Payne’s face. He seems pleased, both with himself and with the prospect of facing Ryan Wilson at No Regrets. He gives Ryan a big pat on the shoulder, gesturing that he’s made a good decision. Ryan Wilson however, isn’t quite as in good a mood as his future opponent. He again goes to shove Xander back, but, Xander has learned from his mistakes and removes his hand, and himself, from the danger zone before Ryan Wilson is able to reach him. The former World Heavyweight champion, smirk still intact, turns on the heels of his feet and walks off, leaving Ryan Wilson to cool down. Cameras zoom in on Ryan’s frustrated expression, fury glazed over his eyes. Cameras from here slowly transition elsewhere, we’ve still a high-octane, incredible show ahead as we’re brought into the ring for the next match.)

He’s accompanied by Komatsu Ogawa and Lucas Johnson, Lewis would waste no time to make his way to the ring keeping a serious and formal expression the whole way to the ring.)

(‘You know my name by Chris Cornell hits and the crowd have a much more positive and loud reaction as Adam Lucas scurries to the stage. Much like Harley however, Lucas looks focused and doesn’t waste time getting to the ring. Adam would roll himself into the ring and immediately begin staring down Harley Lewis.)

Lucas holds Lewis in that corner as the referee demands him to break the hold! OOOO! Not before a nice elbow is given to Harley as Lucas let’s go!
Deadprez: Yeah man you can’t ever leave yourself vulnerable around Adam Lucas he’ll make sure to check you. Lewis though seems to be enjoying the competition as he goes for a second tie-up?! Lucas obliges but NO— Lewis slips down below the leg and behind Adam nailing a FOREARM TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! Lucas falls foward but catches himself turning around AND DRIVING A MEAN FOREARM OF HIS OWN TO HARLEY’S JAW!!!
Gavin Kirkland: This is great and all but when are they gonna start wrestling and stop punching!!! OH SH—OOT! Eve: It’s smart to take the legs out of Harley Lewis, we all know he’s a fast paced worker and it could very well be seen in this bout. Gavin Kirkland: Adam Lucas with yet another win this season to further himself up the rankings here in EAW.
Eve: Looks like Harley’s partners are coming to check on him, Harley has woken up and is sitting in the middle of the ring now.
Dradprez: Harley doesn’t seem like he’s responding to Lucas who’s trying to talk to him… Harley has gotten up in fact?! Lewis pushes Lucas and Ogawa both away!!! And he’s leaving!!!!
Eve: Well that’s certainly something…
(Harley Lewis walks off and up the stage as Komatsu and Lucas are left in the ring looking confused. Lewis has a frustrated expression written all over himself as the camera fades elsewhere…)
(Hurricane Hawk paces back and forth, his impatience clearly visible, perhaps even with a hint of annoyance. He certainly wasn’t happy with the way things were panning out, having to prove himself every single week to people who didn’t have the first clue what wrestling was all about. He mutters under his breath, things that we can’t quite hear or understand, but seem to be derogatory, and we do hear the word ‘Disney’ amongst it all. The door opens, and his mood doesn’t improve any when he sees it is Heidi Huxley and Stan Baylor that walk in.)
Heidi Huxley: Good evening, Mr. Hawk, you remember Mr. Baylor?
Hurricane Hawk: I’d remember that smell anywhere Heidi.
(Baylor scribbles something in his notebook, underlining whatever he has written several times.)
Heidi Huxley: There is no need for that attitude. We are all only trying to do what is best for our brand after all.
Hurricane Hawk: Are we? Because it looks to me now that there is only one of us that knows what he is talking about, and who understands this business. Bit of a clue for you, it’s not you who William Shakespeare over there.
Heidi Huxley: You are taking this way too personally.
Hurricane Hawk: Am I? Well, I’m sorry that I don’t like the fact that I have to have someone looking over my shoulder every five minutes.
Heidi Huxley: I’m afraid you only have yourself to blame for that.
(Heidi points to the bandage on Hawk’s head, as Stan makes some more notes, Hawk trying to look at what he is writing and Stan comedically moving so he can’t see.)
Hurricane Hawk: I’ve got this under control Heidi.
Heidi Huxley: Do you? I’d suggest that a bandage wrapped around your head tells a different story. I’d say that the fact Adam Lucas can assault one of our commentators and get away with it proves that you are far away from being in ‘control’.
Hurricane Hawk: I’ll deal with Adam
Heidi Huxley: What with? A slapped wrist and a fine? These are not the morals of a Disney run company Hawk. The lunatics should not be running the asylum, and that is precisely what is currently happening here. It’s no surprise that Stan is here, running the rule over you and your management methods, because it is becoming abundantly clear that you will let these people do whatever they want, without any recourse. You knew the situation when Disney bought EAW… that situation hasn’t changed.
(Hawks shakes his head and walks over to his desk, picking up his cellphone and placing it in his pocket.)
Hurricane Hawk: Are we done?
Heidi Huxley: Excuse me?
Hurricane Hawk: I said… are we done? I have a show to run, you know a wrestling show, that which you obviously know nothing about.
Heidi Huxley: NO, we are not done. I want to know what you are going to do about Kassidy Heart?
Hurricane Hawk: I’ve told you, it’s all under control.
Heidi Huxley: That isn’t good enough. I DEMAND that Kassidy be suspended pending termination.
Hurricane Hawk: You demand? That last time I looked, it was my name on that door Heidi, not yours.
Heidi Huxley: I don’t care whose name is on the door, Disney runs the show, and I am a Disney representative, and it is my job to do whatever it takes to protect Disney’s interests, which is terminating Kassidy Hearts contract, no matter who her husband is.
Hurricane Hawk: I can’t do that.
Heidi Huxley: You can, and you will, or so help me…
(Heidi pauses, stopping herself before she says anymore. Throughout all of this, Stan has been scribbling away, taking in every detail.)
Hurricane Hawk: You’ll do what Heidi? Fire me?
Heidi Huxley: Suspend her pending termination Hawk.
(Hawk looks her dead in the eyes, and answers quite conclusively.)
Hurricane Hawk: NO!!! We do this my way. We try to fire her, and she’ll laugh in our face. This way, this challenge, we can make sure that she is punished, the ONLY way that hurts her, by damaging her reputation. I’ve already got one person for our team, and they will dish out that punishment.
(At that point Alex Myers walks in, Hawk nodding a greeting.)
Alex Myers: Hawk… Ms. Huxley… whoever the heck you are.
(Stan just shrugs, and yes, he writes it down.)
Alex Myers: When I was standing in the back, watching this pan out I knew I had to do something. People like Kassidy Heart, like Impact, are what are holding this company back, not good people managers like Hurricane Hawk.
(Hawk gives Heidi a smug look, Heidi ignoring it.)
Alex Myers: So when Hawk said he needed a team, then I knew I couldn’t stand by without being a part of that team that can bring justice to our brand. I will be honored to wrestle in the name of Showdown. I won’t fail.
(Heidi looks at Alex, and then at Hawk, and then sighs, knowing that there really isn’t anything she can do to stop this. If Hawk wanted to fall on his sword this way, there was nothing else she or anyone else could do to stop it.)
Heidi Huxley: OK, I appreciate you stepping up Alex, I can see you mean to do what is best for our brand.
Alex Myers: Always Ms. Huxley.
(She then turns away from Alex, and back to Hawk.)
Heidi Huxley: But you still need someone else. Alex cannot do this alone, so who is the other?
(Hawk just looks at her, remembering all that she had said previously and the lack of faith that she obviously has in him. For a moment it looks like he may speak, but then he motions to Alex and the two walk out the office, past Stan who is obviously writing the fact that they walked away in his notes, as Heidi keeps looking the other way, away from the door.)
Heidi Huxley: Hawk, you come back here right now and tell me who that second person or…
Stan Baylor: I’m afraid he’s left Ms. Huxley
(Heidi turns around, her face reddening as her anger grows.)
Heidi Huxley: FINE have it your way Hawk.
(Realizing that Hawk cannot hear her, she quietens her voice.)
Heidi Huxley: It just means the inevitable occurs that little bit sooner.
(She turns to Stan, and rips the pencil from his hand, snapping it in half. Stan nonchalantly pulls another from his jacket and yes, writes what happened down as it cuts to the last commercial break of the evening.)
(The camera cuts back to the ring where Gina Romano is ready to start the ring introductions for the final match of the evening.)
Gina Romano: The following contest is our MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING! It is set for TV TIME REMAINING and is a TAG TEAM MATCH scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(“M3tamorphosis” by Playboi Carti ft. Kid Cudi starts playing throughout the arena as the team of Kassidy Heart and Impact enter the arena. Kass is wearing her Hannibal Lecter style mask and Impact has the Answers World Championship on his shoulder as the crowd boos them uncontrollably as they head to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing first and making their way to the ring! At a total combined weight of 362 pounds! Here is the team of “THE MAULER” KASSIDY HEART AND THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION IMPACT!
Deadprez: We have a very dangerous duo coming to the ring right now. There is no doubt that these two aren’t exactly in the best of moods after what happened last week after they were attacked by Alex Myers.
Gavin Kirkland: Yes, but look at what they could get if they win at No Regards. They are sick of Hurricane Hawk and they might be one match away from ousting him from the General Manager’s position should they win. I mean this could be the last month that we have Hurricane Hawk as the General Manager of Showdown.
Eve: I hope they keep in their mind what happens if they unfortunately lose this match. Remember the rules, if either one of them is involved in the decision in a losing fashion, then the Answers World Champion will change hands. That means if Kassidy Heart loses the fall for her team, then Impact loses the title without even being involved.
Deadprez: That thought has no doubt crossed their minds, but when you have a team of Hall of Famers, their back of tricks is almost unlimited so they probably already have something planned to make sure that doesn’t happen. But they have to make it through tonight unscathed.
(Kass and Impact enter the ring as Impact hands the Answers World Championship to the referee and they take their corner. The dangerous duo are glaring up the entrance ramp as their music fades off. Seconds later, the crowd erupts in cheers as “Shake It” by Metro Station starts playing and the team of Jake Smith and Chris Elite enter the arena and head to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing their opponents! At a total combined weight of 420 pounds. Here is the team of CHRIS ELITE AND JAKE SMITH! They are THE HAIRCARE KINGS!
Gavin Kirkland: Now this is going to be an interesting situation. For almost a year, these two have been thick as thieves and are former Tag Team Champions. Earlier tonight, we saw our first bit of true animosity between these two.
Eve: Yeah, but this could be a testament to how strong of a bond these two have as a team. Can you imagine how big of a mood and confidence booster this can be if they can knock off Impact and Kassidy Heart.
Deadprez: They could easily find themselves in stronger contention for the Answers World Championship.Whatever tension these two have right now, they need to put it away and work together like we know they can. They have all the capabilities in the world to win this match. Which team will leave victorious? We are about to find out!
(Jake and Chris enter the ring and take their corner as they eye each other before looking at their opponents as their entrance music fades off. The referee checks both teams and tries their best to keep them at bay before they call for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Deadprez: Bell has rung and here we go. Impact is electing to start this match as well as Chris Elite. This is going to be an amazing match. The current Answers World Champion, two former World Champions, and a future World Champion all in this match. This is going to be a great match right now.
Eve: The two competitors lock up in the center of the ring and it’s Impact with a side headlock getting the advantage early on. Impact has the headlock on tight, but Elite throws an elbow right into Impact’s side. Elite with a second elbow and he gets free and whips Impact into the ropes. Impact with the rebound and IMPACT WITH A BOOT TO THE SHOULDER AFTER ELITE PUT HIS HEAD DOWN!
Gavin Kirkland: Elite flung back with the force and Impact whips Elite into the corner. Unfortunately it’s Impact’s corner and IMPACT WITH A KNIFE EDGE CHOP TO THE CHEST! IMPACT WITH ANOTHER CHOP TO THE CHEST! Impact is lighting up Elite’s chest like a jack ‘o lantern on Halloween.

Deadprez: Kassidy Heart is in the match and this is what the Haircare Kings need to watch out for. Kass and Impact whip Elite to ropes AND THE DOUBLE HIP TOSS TAKES CHRIS ELITE DOWN TO THE MAT!
Gavin Kirkland: Impact is dangerous, but Kassidy Heart is just plain sinister. Elite is still down, BUT KASS WITH A KICK RIGHT TO ELITE’S SPINE! That might have shaken a few discs loose. Elite back down as Kassidy mounts Elite AND SHE IS THROWING LEFTS AND RIGHTS INTO ELITE’S FACE!
Deadprez: Elite trying to block as many shots as he can, but Kass is being relentless as the referee starts the count. The referee reaches four and Kass finally opens the fists up, but she shoots a glare at the referee for even considering telling her to stop.
Eve: Regardless, Kassidy has control of this match as she brings Elite to his feet and starts boxing practice on Chris Elite. Jabs and punches galore turning Elite into a human punching bag as she THROWS AND UPPERCUT AND SENDS ELITE STUMBLING BACKWARDS INTO HIS CORNER!

Gavin Kirkland: Jake Smith tags himself in and he enters the match and he looks more than ready to fight Kassidy Heart. Jake is looking for a test of strength and Kassidy looks ready to oblige. Jake better be careful of a trick. They lock knuckles AND THERE’S THE TRICK RIGHT THERE!!
Eve: Kass went for a kick to the gut, BUT JAKE CAUGHT KASSIDY’S FOOT AND SHE IS HOPPING AROUND ON ONE FOOT! What does Jake have in mind? It probably isn’t anything good AND WE WERE RIGHT!
Deadprez: JAKE JUST PULLED KASSIDY FORWARD AND SENDS HER RIGHT INTO THE SPLITS! THAT HAS GOT TO HURT! I’M NOT SURE IF KASS WAS ABLE TO DO IT BEFORE, BUT SHE WAS FORCED TO NOW! Jake is smiling from ear to ear seeing Kass in pain before HE KICKS KASS RIGHT IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD!
Gavin Kirkland: Jake knows very well that the biggest weakness Kass has is her head and Jake completely exploited it right there. Jake fires off another kick, BUT KASS DUCKS IT AND ROLLS JAKE UP, BUT JAKE IS FREE BEFORE ONE. The force of rolling back to his feet sends him stumbling backwards AND RIGHT INTO CHRIS ELITE, WHO WAS JUST KNOCKED OFF THE APRON!
Deadprez: Uh oh. Small bit of miscommunication there for the Haircare Kings. Jake feels bad about that as he tries to apologize to Elite from the ring as KASSIDY GRABS A HANDFUL OF JAKE’S HAIR AND PULLS HIM RIGHT INTO A BACKBREAKER! Jake down and Kass goes for a quick cover.

Eve: Jake up before two and Kass once again has a handful of Jake’s hair and snapmares him down to the mat as KASS JUST RUNS RIGHT OVER JAKE’S BACK AND HITS THE ROPES BEFORE DROPKICKING JAKE RIGHT IN THE FACE! JAKE TURNED INSIDE OUT!
Deadprez: Kass back to her feet as she grabs another handful of Jake’s and drags him to his feet and towards her own corner. Jake is thrown into the corner like a sack of potatoes as she reaches out for the tag.

Eve: The Answers World Champion is back in the match as they both apply a front facelock and walk Jake away from the corner. Jake up in the air and HE IS DROPPED WITH THE DOUBLE SUPLEX FROM KASS AND IMPACT! The team of Heart and Impact are working like such a well oiled machine since unfortunately the opposing team have not been able to get out of the gate.
Gavin Kirkland: Impact rolls Jake onto his stomach and grabs a handful of Jake’s hair and IMPACT STICKS HIS BOOT IN JAKE’S SPINE AND PULLS HIM BACK! THAT’S AN ILLEGAL MOVE AND IMPACT KNOWS IT! THE REFEREE IS ADMONISHING IMPACT BEFORE STARTING THE COUNT! The referee reaches for and IMPACT STOMPS JAKE FACE FIRST INTO THE MAT WITH A MODIFIED CURB STOMP!
Deadprez: Impact is pulling the strands of Jake’s hair out of his fingers with a sadistic smile on his face. L’oreal is not going to like his hair being pulled out by the roots, but they don’t care. Impact just watches Jake hold his head in pain while trying to hold in laughter.
Eve: Jake falls back, but that might be a mistake AS IMPACT JUMPS UP AND HITS A LEG DROP ACROSS JAKE’S THROAT! Jake is now holding his throat in pain and gasping a little after the impact… oh that was very bad.
Deadprez: I’d expect something like that from Gavin, but not from you. Anyways, Impact pulls Jake back up to his feet and whips him into the corner. Impact runs into the corner AND CLOTHESLINES JAKE!
Gavin Kirkland: Ok. That was a little harsh about the pun. They aren’t that bad, but Jake comes stumbling out of the corner as Impact grabs him in a headlock AND RUNS TO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING AND PLANTING JAKE WITH A RUNNING BULLDOG!
Eve: Impact elects to not go for another cover right now, but instead, he picks Jake up again and throws him into the turnbuckle. Impact runs to the corner AND IMPACT WITH ANOTHER CLOTHESLINE! I think this looks a little familiar.
Deadprez: Because it is. Impact grabs Jake’s head again and runs to the middle of the ring. IMPACT GOING FOR ANOTHER BULLDOG, BUT JAKE PUSHES IMPACT OFF AS HE JUMPS AND IMPACT’S BUTT MEETS THE MAT!
Gavin Kirkland: Great counter by Jake. Now would be a great opportunity for Jake to build up some momentum. Impact won’t be spraining any ankles how he landed, but he makes it back to his feet and slowly turns around to face Jake Smith–
Deadprez: JAKE SMITH WITH A SAVATE KICK CATCHING IMPACT RIGHT IN THE JAW! IMPACT HAD HIS HANDS DOWN AND COULDN’T CUSHION OR BLOCK, SO HE GOT IT ALL IN THE JAW! IMPACT IS DOWN AND JAKE HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER!

Gavin Kirkland: IMPACT GETS THE SHOULDER UP AT TWO! That was very close and that kick could have ended the match right there since we saw Impact’s eyes roll up in the back of his head, but he is still in the match for his team.
Eve: Jake pulls Impact to his knees and drags him into his team’s corner. Jake extends his hand for the tag, but Jake and Chris just look at each other. Still a little animosity and we can all sense that, BUT CHRIS MAKES THE TAG!

Gavin Kirkland: Chris Elite back into the match. Jake whips Impact into the ropes and PICKS HIM UP FOR A FLAPJACK, BUT HERE COMES CHRIS ELITE WITH THE JUMPING CUTTER! Great double team move by the former Tag Team Champions.
Deadprez: Impact still face down on the canvas as Elite grabs him by the head and takes him back and over with a great vertical suplex. Elite now takes an opportunity to mount Impact AND JUST LAY THE FISTS IN ON THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION! CHRIS ELITE MEANS BUSINESS TONIGHT!
Eve: The referee is having a hayday trying to get everybody in this match to not use closed fists, but the referee goes again and Elite acknowledges the ref and opens up his fists up, but that won’t stop him from kicking Impact in the gut as he gets back to his feet.
Gavin Kirkland: Chris Elite has no problem with dishing out a cheap shot here and there to get the job done and that’s exactly what he did there. Elite now grabs Impact’s legs and walks him to a neutral corner and FALLS BACK!
Eve: CHRIS ELITE WITH A SLINGSHOT AND IMPACT GOES FACE FIRST INTO THE CORNER! Unfortunately, he goes right back into a waiting Chris Elite who hoists him up AND DROPS IMPACT ON THE BACK OF HIS HEAD WITH A BACK SUPLEX! ELITE KEEPS THE SUPLEX AND BRIDGES UP FOR THE COVER!

Deadprez: KASSIDY HEART COMES IN AND BREAKS UP THE COVER! I don’t think it was to save the match. I think it was so she can get a few shots in on her opponent. Chris Elite didn’t like that one bit and he is making sure Kass hears about it. They are jaw jacking in the ring, but the referee is trying to get Kass out of the ring.
Gavin Kirkland: But during that chaos, IMPACT COMES FROM BEHIND AND ROLLS UP CHRIS ELITE! ELITE’S SHOULDERS ARE DOWN, BUT THE REFEREE DOESN’T SEE IT! THE REFEREE IS STILL TRYING TO GET KASS OUT OF THE RING!
Deadprez: KASS IS YELLING AT THE REFEREE TO TURN AROUND AS SHE FINALLY GETS OUTSIDE THE RING AGAIN AND THE REFEREE FINALLY SEES THE COVER. BUT THEY DON’T SEE IMPACT PULLING THE TIGHTS FOR SOME LEVERAGE!

Eve: CHRIS ELITE ROLLS THE SHOULDER UP BEFORE THREE! Impact needed some extra leverage after the referee finally turned around because if he didn’t, Elite would have kicked out much sooner than he did. Look at the eyes of Kassidy Heart over on the apron.
Gavin Kirkland: She is MAD! Not just mad, she is PEEVED OFF after that little altercation. Her eyes almost look blood red. As we were looking at Kass, Impact beat Elite to the punch and plants Elite with a DDT. Kassidy is stretching out her hand for the tag and Impact is happy to oblige.

Eve: Kassidy is back in this match and IMPACT WITH A HEADBUTT SENDING CHRIS ELITE STAGGERING BACK INTO KASS WHO DROPS HIM ON THE BACK OF HIS HEAD WITH A SNAP GERMAN SUPLEX!
Deadprez: Chris Elite crashed hard and I think that Kass is ready to get to work. More than just to win. It’s to cause a whole bunch of pain to her opponents. Elite is chest first against the mat, but Kass is right behind him WITH A PAINFUL BACK RAKE!
Gavin Kirkland: That has got to hurt with those claws or talons of hers… no disrespect to Kassidy Heart of course. That could have drawn some blood, but there is none thankfully as Kassidy rolls onto Elite’s back and locks in the camel clutch.
Deadprez: WE HAVE A SUBMISSION MOVE RIGHT HERE! I really don’t think that Kass is looking for the submission victory here. At this point in the match, Kassidy is looking to torture Chris Elite.This is Kassidy Heart’s version of fun in EAW… well the fun she has in the ring.
Gavin Kirkland: LOOK AT KASS! SHE IS PULLING CHRIS ELITE FURTHER BACK AND INTO A MORE TORTUROUS AND PAINFUL ANGLE! That could realign Elite’s spine right there and the referee is asking Chris if he wants to give it up.
Eve: If Chris Elite didn’t have his jaw and head in a horrible angle, the referee probably would have received a very colorful answer right there, but he simply shakes his head no. The last thing Elite will do is verbally submit or submit at all.
Deadprez: Listen to the Dakar crowd! They are doing everything they can to will the Hall of Famer on and get him back to this match. Even with the tension between Chris and Jake, Jake is slapping the turnbuckle to help motivate his partner.
Eve: Kassidy is still torquing Chris Elite, but Chris Elite has found himself back onto his knees! LOOK AT THE POWER BEING SHOWN BY GAWD GIVEN GREATNESS! HE HAS KASSIDY ON HIS BACK AND HE IS UPRIGHT! HE IS BACK TO HIS FEET!

Gavin Kirkland: We said that this could main event any FPV event and that’s exactly what it lived up to. This was an amazing match. Unfortunate circumstances led to an unfortunate defeat for the Haircare Kings.
(Chris has rolled outside to the floor where Jake is trying to do his best to console his friend.)
Eve: You have to feel for Chris Elite. He hasn’t exactly had the best of luck this season and here he is with another loss. They shouldn’t feel bad though. They are an amazing duo who have the future and success right in front of them.
(Jake is still trying to talk to Chris, but he has had enough and he just SHOVES Jake away. Jake lands on the floor and has a look of shock on his face as Chris Elite storms off and away from Jake.)
Gavin Kirkland: HOLY COW! WHAT DID WE JUST WITNESS! Chris Elite wanting nothing to do with Jake Smith right now and not gonna lie, this is a little heartbreaking. But I guess the frustration building inside Chris Elite has reached a breaking point. Jake shouldn’t blame himself, but I hope that this isn’t
(Jake gets back to his feet and starts to leave ringside as the camera cuts back to the referee starting to raise Impact and Kassidy’s arm in victory, but Kassidy quickly changes course and grabs the referee by the throat and pushes them into a corner.)
Deadprez: WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS? YOU ALREADY MADE YOUR POINT, KASS! THERE IS NO NEED TO PICK ON A DEFENSELESS REFEREE! YOU’VE ALREADY WON THE MATCH SO JUST LEAVE ALREADY!
Eve: I agree. There is no need to pick on and attack the referee like that. What is that going to prove? Hold on! Let’s get closer to the action. She is talking to the referee.
(Kass lets go of the referee’s throat and starts to just browbeat and yell at the poor referee.)
Kassidy Heart: (off-mic) What kind of officiating was that? WHERE DID YOU LEARN HOW TO BE A REFEREE? That was the crappiest job from a referee I’ve ever seen. Are you blind? Do you need glasses, because you missed a lot of [REDACTED]!
Gavin Kirkland: We apologize about that! We know Kassidy Heart has a short fuse and a shorter sanity level, but this is too much. Can we get security or somebody to come out here and stop this?
