Rising Star of the Week
Sierra Everett
This week’s Rising Star of the Week is Sierra Everett! Sierra Everett competed on Voltage this week against TLA, a two time World Champion! This was one of Sierra’s biggest matches at this point in her EAW career, but after Drake King’s entrance music distracted her opponent, Sierra was able to roll TLA up and grab the tights to pick up the victory! This was a huge win for Sierra regardless of how it happened, definitely giving her tons of momentum despite Hikari Kanno attacking her shortly after the match. Congratulations to Sierra Everett for picking up such a major win!
Beef of the Week
Joso vs Amir Yusuf
The Beef of the Week for this week was between the Interwire Champion Joso, and Amir Yusuf! This was bound to be an interesting matchup following Territorial Invasion with Limmy Monaghan at ringside, and in the end these two delivered with a very entertaining back and forth! These are two very confident Elitists who went back and forth about whether or not they’re good enough to be at the top of the red brand, causing such a great week of promos as both Elitists brought their best to the table once again! This was definitely a week that showed just how great these two Elitists are!
Show of the Week
Showdown
This week’s Show of the Week was Showdown! Showdown this week had a lot of great stories building such as with Alex Myers defending Hurricane Hawk against Kassidy Heart and Impact, leading them to being the first partner revealed for No Regards’ tag team match! This wouldn’t be the only thing revealed for No Regards as Xander Payne would challenge Ryan Wilson at this show, and beyond that were interesting matches such Lexi versus Holly Arrow with Veena Adams as the referee, Harley Lewis versus Adam Lucas and the tag team match in the main event, all ending in surprising fashion! Showdown has been very exciting, making the build to No Regards even better!
Match of the Week
Kassidy Heart & Impact vs the Haircare Kings
The Match of the Week for this week was the main event match of Showdown, the tag team match between the Haircare Kings, and the duo of Impact and Kassidy Heart! This is a very high profile match that was expected to deliver just because of the names involved along with the interesting circumstances surrounding the Haircare Kings, and in the end this was a great main event for Showdown! All four Elitists are very talented and have proven themselves time and time again to be some of the best that their brand has to offer, and this match was another fantastic one to add to their records!
Promoer of the Week
Adam Lucas
This week’s Promoer of the Week was Adam Lucas! This week Adam Lucas went up against Harley Lewis, and he had a fantastic week of promos where he explained the reasons behind his slight change in attitude due to his belief that Harley Lewis did not understand him. Adam’s promos this week highlighted what kind of person and what kind of competitor he is, one that is always looking to improve and reach the next level! Adam Lucas has always been a great promoer, and this week he once again delivered with three amazing promos ahead of his match against Harley Lewis!
Champion of the Week
Donovan Duke
This week’s Champion of the Week is the National Elite Champion, Donovan Duke! Donovan had a very competitive match this week, facing off against Roberto De La Rosa in a Championship Match Qualifier! Roberto put up a great fight and made sure that this wasn’t an easy night for Donovan, but in the end Donovan Duke was able to pick up the victory, proving once again that taking him down is no easy feat and as the National Elite Champion, Donovan Duke is at the top of his game! Donovan has been a fantastic Champion so far, and congratulations to him for winning this great match!
Most Valuable Elitist
ARIA
The Most Valuable Elitist this week was a member of the Ice Aces, ARIA! ARIA competed in the main event of Voltage against Drake King, and much like Sierra earlier in the night, ARIA was able to pick up a huge victory after a distraction from TLA, rolling Drake up but pinning him clean for the three count, making for a shocking ending to Voltage’s main event match! ARIA at Wicked Games is being forced to face her own partners in the Ice Aces, and this is a huge way to get momentum on her side heading into that match! Congratulations to ARIA for picking up the victory!
