May was one of the biggest months for EAW this year, with two free-per-view events occurring almost back to back with 15th Grand Rampage and the third Battle of Egypt! Pain for Pride is approaching and now is the time for Elitists to do whatever it takes for a spot on the show, and one man managed to find himself in a main event match at the biggest show of the year in historic fashion. That man is May’s Elitist of the Month, Impact! Impact was one of the thirty Elitists competing in the thirty-entrant Grand Rampage match, and as always this was the biggest and most competitive match of the entire year so far. Winning this match is a huge accomplishment for anybody, and Impact knows this as someone that’s won the match before. Him having accomplished such a thing makes what he did at Grand Rampage that much more impressive, as for the second time in his career, Impact managed to win the Grand Rampage match! Not only is this a very special accolade on its own, but this means that Impact will now be competing in a Pain for Pride main event, where he’ll have the opportunity to win his tenth World Championship as he competes for the Answers World Championship! Congratulations, Impact!
