(EAW intro plays.)
(As per, a recap of last week’s Friday Night Dynasty is shown: Andre Walker and Albert Hitchman open to address Poor Unfortunate Souls before Andre moves forward and calls out Amir Yusuf. Amir responds as the two of them have a back and forth before Andre takes his leave to a dissatisfied Amir. Shane Gates beats Mirai Natsu. Ruler cuts a promo backstage asking himself what’s next before making a statement for the New Breed Championship. PJ Hendrx beats Emir Erdogan. Caroline vows to redeem herself in an interview one way or another. Milli Banks brags about her victory against Caroline before being interrupted by Tyrone Montgomery who grants her the opportunity to represent Dynasty in a triple threat match at Territorial Invasion. The Off-Brand Amphetamines beat the team of Kylie Grace and Haruka Kashimashi. Soul Food Sunday talk about everything that’s been going on before Kassidy Heart interrupts and has a back and forth with Serena Bennett, Bulletstorm come out as well and turns out it’s all a ploy for The Ice Aces to attack Soul Food Sunday from behind. Charlie Marr versus Bronson Daniels ends in a no contest after Team Showdown hit the ring, only for Team Dynasty to make an appearance and recruit their last member in the form of Bronson, which is confirmed further backstage. Madison Kaline gets a victory over SOSA Henderson thanks to a Soul Food Sunday distraction. In the main event, Limmy Monaghan, Serenity Valdez, and Joso stand united as the Anarchy in The Arena Dynasty team. They’re interrupted by Adam Lucas though who serves as a distraction for the rest of his team, Jake Smith and Xander Payne, to attack and lay the trio out. Team Showdown standing tall is the last shot seen before the show and the recap ends.)
(Friday Night Dynasty then goes to the AccorHotels Arena in Paris, France where a clean version of Denzel Curry’s “P.A.T.” is heard playing through the speakers of the arena with pyro shooting out from the stage. The camera pans around at the hyped crowd here tonight and the overall excited atmosphere, before then going to the announcers table. Stew-O, Flannery McCoy, and Jake Mercer are seen standing by as they welcome the camera with smiles before Stew begins to speak.)
Stew-O: Ladies and gentlemen we are just two weeks away from the tri-branded Free-Per-View Territorial Invasion! And with things heating up we welcome you once again to another exciting episode of FRIDAY NIGHT DYNASTY!
Flannery McCoy: And what a show we have for you top to bottom tonight. With matches such as Joso versus PJ Hendrx, Caroline facing Jay Jerry Johnson, and Aurora Monroe going up against Milli Banks.
Jake Mercer: We can’t forget THE VISUAL PROPHET, greatest of all time, going up against that other guy Amir Yusuf, guess he’s here too. Along with the World Heavyweight Champion Andre Walker in action against Astraea Jordan. Then in our main event we have a Territorial Invasion preview match with the leader of Team Dynasty’s Anarchy in The Arena team Limmy Monaghan facing off against Team Voltage’s Hikari Kanno! Exciting times indeed, so let’s get right to the action!
(‘Prices’ by Lil Uzi Vert is heard playing up, with the camera transitioning from the announcer’s table over to another pan-around shot of the arena which exemplifies the negative reaction the crowd is giving right now. The shot then focuses on Ruler making his way out from the backstage area and toward the stage. He takes a look around at the Paris crowd in attendance tonight who don’t welcome him so peacefully, before centering his focus on the ring that lies in front of him. He takes a moment before beginning to make his way down the ramp and continuing to make his entrance from there.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… ‘THE MONARCH OF AGONY’… RULER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: What better way to kick off Friday Night Dynasty than with someone who has been a mainstay of this brand this Season and one of the top rising stars that this entire company has to offer? Last week we saw him coming hot off an unfortunate loss at Poor Unfortunate Souls for the Interwire Championship but at the same time, instead of shaming himself for it, he set his sights elsewhere in hopes of redemption.
Flannery McCoy: He decided to go to the beginning, where it all started, hoping to get something going for him… which meant the New Breed Championship. He made a claim for that, and after Alex Myers faces off against Abel Atami for the Championship tomorrow, he’ll be the next one in line for a title shot no matter who wins. It’s definitely interesting, and I am reeled in at the possibility of another matchup with Alex knowing the history the two of them have with one another which was visited at Pain For Pride. But whether or not that happens will remain to be seen.
Jake Mercer: I personally wouldn’t get my hopes up for it Flan, and instead would get myself excited for ABEL ATAMI VERSUS RULER! Not many people can survive the wrath of ‘THE SAMOAN MAMBA’! So to favor Alex’s chances in a match against him is a bit of a reach knowing what the GOAT is capable of. All you can do is wish both Alex and Ruler luck and pray for their careers. :wow:
(Ruler makes his way up the steel steps before stepping onto the apron and slowly entering the ring. He takes a circle around before holding his hand out at the edge of the ring to get a microphone from the timekeeper’s area. He then turns around and makes his way toward a corner, heading upward and taking a seat on the top turnbuckle, putting his hands on his lap. ‘Prices’ then begins to come to a close while Ruler takes a deep breath before slowly bringing his microphone up to his mouth and beginning to speak.)
Ruler: These past two weeks I’ve done quite a lot of complaining, being unhappy about what happened at Poor Unfortunate Souls, and letting that moment constantly repeat in my head over and over again. Near the beginning of the Season, I lost an opportunity to win the Interwire Championship against Andre Walker in the main event of Dynasty. Just a few short days before he broke the record for longest reigning Interwire Champion, I wasn’t going to let that opportunity go to waste… but the issue was I did. No matter which way I looked at it though, I still had another opportunity on the horizon, to go another round with Andre Walker on a much grander stage than a Dynasty main event. With the added, very unnecessary, addition of Joso to the match, I walked in with the intention of making sure that the match on Dynasty didn’t define me and that I was going to be the one to put the final nail in the coffin for Andre’s reign of terror. Because that’s the position I deserve to be in, that’s the person I deserve to be after breaking my back for Elite Answers Wrestling for months on end. Dedicating everything that I have week in and week out, working harder than ANYONE ELSE to get to the place that I want to be. No, instead Tyrone Montgomery decides to hand Joso the world in the palm of his hand. Giving him everything that he ever wanted, WHEN IT SHOULD’VE BEEN ME.
Ruler: I’ve repeated that moment in my head over and over again, watching Joso celebrate an undeserved Championship reign over myself and get everything that he ever wanted at the snap of a finger. Meanwhile, I’m left here twiddling my thumbs over what to do next. Push onward sure, but where to? I want every opportunity that you can throw at me sure, but who’s to say that it won’t lead to another Pain For Pride or Poor Unfortunate Souls, I don’t want that. I don’t want Ruler to be defined as the person who can do all this yet when he’s put under the spotlight he chokes, that’s not the type of person that I want to be. I want to be the one at the very top, I want to be the one that’s named ‘The New Era’ instead of some false idol that each and every one of you bow to every single week. I want to because that’s who I AM, that’s who I know I AM, and that’s who I DESERVE to be. But nonetheless, that’s where the New Breed Championship comes in. I’ve watched that Championship come and go and it’s safe to say that Pain For Pride was one of the toughest blows I had to take since arriving here in EAW. And not even that, but knowing and having to live with the fact that Alex Myers is Champion makes me sick. I was the one that was supposed to end that, I was the one that was supposed to close the book and finally usher in a Championship reign that everyone in EAW could be proud of. But I failed… I failed… I promise not to do that again.
Ruler: Say what you want to say about the possibility of whether or not the person I’ll be gunning for is between Alex and Abel Atami. But let’s admit, they’re retaining, hell I want them to retain. I’m rooting for them at Dead Men Tell No Tales because there is nothing that would give me more personal satisfaction than Alex Myers being the one that I beat to win my first Championship in Elite Answers Wrestling. I am a star, I deserve to be treated like a star. And when the time comes for me to fight for the New Breed Championship, everything that has presumably defined me will disappear, and MY TIME… will finally come.
(Ruler with a snarl tosses his microphone down to the ground before jumping off of the top turnbuckle and landing on the canvas. He looks toward the stage and paces around, seemingly getting prepared for his match while the crowd continues to boo ‘The Monarch of Agony’ while he does so. ‘Prices’ once again begins to play back up while Friday Night Dynasty goes to a brief commercial break before the match.)
(Brief commercial is shown for Staples featuring Ruler as he browses through the measuring sticks.)
(Friday Night Dynasty comes back to ‘Prices’ playing through the speakers of the arena with Ruler being seen already in the ring after his segment to open the show. Stephie Love is seen at ringside ready to call the match.)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for…ONE FALL!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!
Stephie Love: Already in the ring… residing in The Reserved… weighing in at 220 pounds… ‘THE MONARCHY OF AGONY’… RULER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: And that look in Ruler’s eyes tells the whole entire story of this match, I mean there is not a shred of fear or doubt in those pupils; no worry in those retinas – no dubiousness in those corneas! NOT A DROP OF DISBELIEF IN THOSE IRIS’S-
Flannery McCoy & Stew-O: :gucci:
Jake Mercer: :troll:
Flannery McCoy: Why are you the way you are?
Jake Mercer: I don’t know what you are referring to, I am just giving the well deserved praise that Ruler deserves to him, is that so wrong?!
Stew-O: Let’s just focus on the match for now… :mjpls:
(The Dying Song‘ By Slipknot would play through-out the arena to a wave of boo’s as Shane Gates made his way towards the ring out of the titantron area, very focused with his strides as he showed a determined look ahead of his match-up tonight, Shane Gates quickly climbing up the apron as he slide through the middle rope and into his corner as he turned to face Ruler, eyeing his opponent while getting ready for the match.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent… from Huntington Beach, California… weighing in at 213 pounds… ‘THE PSYCHOPATHIC MONSTER’… SHANE GATES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: And here comes Shane Gates coming out to the ring for our first bout tonight on Dynasty; and what a match it is! With Shane Gates coming off a win against Mirai Natsu last week, he is sure to be coming into tonight with a head full of steam and a lot of momentum!
Flannery McCoy: That’s right Stew, but we have to remember who he is facing tonight; I mean Ruler is no pushover whatsoever, and with his failure to obtain the Interwire Championship in the Main Event last week? I am sure he finds himself in this situation with the need to rebound off his loss and make some momentum of his own; sparks are sure to fly from these two and I can’t wait to see what is sure to be an amazing match!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Flannery McCoy: And we’re focusing back on the ring here as the match is officially underway; and it looks like Shane Gates is making the offensive push here to start us off as Ruler stays dormant in his corner with Shane having no other option but to be the one to rush forward; eager to lay in the first few blows as he goes up to Ruler, grabbing him into to a collar and elbow tie-up, though already pressed into his corner and it seems like Ruler has made an uphill battle for himself as it looks like he’s trying to fight out of his corner with the mindset of trying to push a boulder, and it seems like it’s slightly working as Shane Gates is backpedaling all the way to the middle of the ring; but not for long because Shane set’s his feet; and it looks like he’s about to drive Ruler back towards his corner – But it’s Ruler with the innovative offense, allowing Shane to bull rush forward with all his momentum as Ruler simply reversed their positions sending Shane SMACKING into the turnbuckle!
Stew-O: And what a maneuver as Ruler simply looks down at Ruler who falls seated in the corner, though only staggered as Shane looks up; and he is clearly enraged by the clear taunting of Ruler standing there as the mind games are setting in thick here in the early moments as Shane tries to catch Rules off guard with a leg sweep; but Ruler manages to jump over his legs just in time and hits a WICKED Knee to the head of a downed Shane to floor him for good; clearly Shane being sucked in by Ruler’s taunting and lures him right into a knee as Ruler now is looking great in the opening of the match!
Jake Mercer: And it doesn’t look like he’s done here, as he drags Shane Gates by his legs away from the ropes towards the middle of the ring and it looks like we’ll see a possible submission and tap out here early as he hooks Shane’s legs close to his waist and arches his back; locking in the Boston Crab on Shane Gates early and it looks like he’s got a good grip asa Shane is struggling in these early moments, and whether or not he taps out here that lingering effect this submission leaves will surely be stuck with Shane through the rest of this match! And as I predicted it’s Shane who’s crawling to the ropes slowly and… Yes! He gets a grip of the bottom rope as the referee counts Ruler off!
Referee: 1! 2! 3! 4! 5!
Flannery McCoy: And Ruler getting off of Shane Gates late in the count as he looks to have found his focal point of offense here as Ruler sneaks a cheap shot onto the legs of Shane Gates, stomping them while Shane lays on the floor unable to defend himself as he instantly lurches to grab onto his left leg! And now the referee checking u pon Shane Gates early as Ruler waits as if he is stalking Shane Gates’s body, a new shade of brutality being shown off his unfortunate loss which is what we feared earlier, and I have a feeling this is just a taste of what is to come from Ruler as the referee separates from Shane, Ruler watching Gates slowly getting up as Ruler focuses in; looking to send another Running Knee Strike to the head of Ruler right on his temple – But Shane Gates evades! Backing up as Ruler’s leg hooks over the middle rope leaving him staggered, with Ruler slowly managing to get himself untangled before turning around with Shane Gates waiting for him, AND IT’S SHANE WITH A SPINNING HEEL KICK TO WIPE RULER’S FEATURES CLEAN OFF HIS FACE!! INTO AN EARLY COVER!!
OONNNEEEE-
Stew-O: AND AN EARLY KICK OUT JUST BEFORE THE FULL COUNT OF ONE! I can’t same I’m surprised, it’ll take more than just that to taker Ruler out of this match, but that was just what Shane needed to make an opening for himself here as Ruler clearly was shocked by that kick!
Jake Mercer: Yeah, what a maneuver from Shane Gates; and now the momentum swings in the balance of who can capitalize as Shane Gates is still leaning into the slight injury he faced from that Boston Crab with his lower back, but it doesn’t seem to be affecting him too much as he manages to make it to his feet right before Ruler, giving him just a slight amount of time to amount some offense, looking to go strike for strike here!
Flannery McCoy: And it’s Shane Gates lurching forward with a knee to the gut of Ruler that connects, staggering him for the moment before Gates rebuttals off his first offense with a palm strike to the chin sending his body right back into a vertical position, and now it’s Shane Gates with a flurry of left’s and rights to the body, kicks to the leg’s to soften up Ruler before Shane is looking to hit yet another Roundhouse kick to finish his striking combo on Ruler – BUT RULER DODGES WITH A DUCK, AND IT LOOKS LIKE HE’S GOING FOR A ROUNDHOUSE OF HIS OWN, THE ‘REVOLUTIONIZER’… BUT SHANE MANAGES TO DUCK RIGHT BEFORE AS WELL, AND AS RULER SPINS BACK AROUND WITH HIS MOMENTUM SHANE CATCHES HIM WITH A DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER!!! What a sequence that was!
Stew-O: Both of these competitors are putting it all out there in this match but Shane get’s the best of Ruler as he doesn’t look to be done yet, dragging Ruler back up to his feet before spinning him around, locking around his waist as he lifts Ruler up for a MASSIVE SUPLEX!
OONNNEEEEEE!!!
TW-
Stew-O: And Shane not letting go as Ruler’s shoulders were laid on the mat but Ruler managing to lift it up just after the count of one, though Shane still having some resolve in him as he rolls both of their bodies over and deadlifts Ruler up and DOWN for yet ANOTHER Suplex!!
ONNNEEEEEEE!!!
TWWOOO-
Stew-O: And yet another count from the Referee with Ruler’s shoulders down, and a longer one at that yet Shane’s resolve to wear Ruler down is showing as he keeps the waist hooked once more as he rolls over yet again, getting a grasp of the hold to make sure it’s tight as hemanagers to get to a knee, lifting Ruler’s body up and moving with that momentum… BEFORE SLAMMING RULER DOWN ONCE MORE WITH AN EMPHATIC SUPLEX!!!
ONNEEEEEEE!!!!
TWWWOOOOOO!!!!
Stew-O: And yet another kick out from Ruler but now we got a full two count so it’s clear to see that Shane’s offensive strategy here is working and it is slowly getting rid of the energy of Ruler, and if he can keep that up then we could see a possible upset here tonight!
Jake Mercer: Couldn’t agree more Stew! I mean the strategy coming into this for Shane has worked out well as it has scrapped all the momentum that Ruler has had, and Shane is finally looking to execute the next part of his plan as he let go of Ruler’s waist hold, allowing him to roll into the corner though I don’t think Ruler realizes the position he put himself in as Shane circles the ring until he’s diagonal to Ruler’s corner, aiming forward before running to hit a MASSIVE RUNNING SENTON TO A SEATED RULER!!!
Flannery McCoy: And that landed FLUSH onto Ruler as he rolls in front of the corner with Shane Gates looking to possibly seal the deal early here, Shane scaling the ropes onto the middle turnbuckle; Ruler still feeling the affects of that senton as he’s not moving at all; and Shane gates is taking full advantage as he springs off the middles rope, with a JUMPING SPLASH THAT LANDS PERFECTLY ONTO RULER – AND HE STAYS ON FOR THE COVER!!!
OONNNEEEEEE!!!
TWWWOOOOOO!!!!
THHREEEE-
Jake Mercer: AND IT’S RULER WITH THE KICKOUT! HE SURVIVES YET AGAIN!! SHANE GATES PUTTING UP A GREAT PERFORMANCE BUT IT’S JUST RULER WITH THE DETERMINATION TO KICK OUT AT EVERY TURN!!! Though I have a feeling Shane Gates is looking to end this for good as he gets to the corner opposing Ruler, seemingly calling for him to get up as Ruler is slowly getting back to his feet following a couple moments of recovery, and it seems that Shane Gates is loading up something POWERFUL for Ruler to face against; and as Ruler get’s up, Shane Gate’s sprints out the corner, LOOKING TO HIT A BIG BOOT!!! BUT RULER EVADES – BUT NOT JUST EVADES, HE KICKS THE LEFT LEG OF SHANE GATES OUT FROM UNDER HIM NARROWLY, THE SAME FOOT HER TAGRETED SLIGHTLY EARLIER AND IT’S SHANE WHO CRASHES AND BURNS!
Flannery McCoy: That was a little too close for Ruler there, but the thought process to attack the leg of Shane was GENIUS, as Shane flips into the turn buckle; though favoring not only the leg that was kicked out but his lower back as well which landed awkwardly against the ropes, severely hurting himself here!!!
Stew-O: You’re right, though Ruler isn’t out of the clear yet either, seemingly still very hurt from that flurry of attacks from Shane as both competitors aren’t making an advance to their feet yet, it really is anyone’s game right now; though Ruler does seem to be crawling to the ropes with Shane Gates still laid out in the corner, not making any attempts to get up. :lupe:
Jake Mercer: Well now it’s Ruler up to the middle rope, and Ruler backing into the corner, trying to use the ropes to help him up as Ruler manages to get to his feet just in time; and that wicked grin appearing onto his face as the wheels in his mind are clearly working, with Shane Gates not turned towards him; Ruler rushes forward, and it looks like Ruler might be looking for a big boot to the back of Shane’s head!!! BUT NO; AT THE LAST SECOND, RULER SLIDE DOWN AND SLIDE TACKLES THE LEG OF SHANE TO SLIP OUT OF THE RING, BUT SLIDES ONTO HIS FEET WITH SHANE FLOORED, BUT NOT GIVING HIM THE TIME OF DAY TO LURCH AND GRAB HIS KNEE AS RULER GRABS THE LEFT LEG OF SHANE AND SMASHES IT INTO THE POST!!!
Flannery McCoy: Innovative offense here from Ruler and it is effectively working on Shane as he is GRABBING at that leg, pain clearly starting to stem onto his face and Ruler is only smiling more and more realizing his plan is coming into fruition – Ruler sliding like a snake back into the ring as Shane continues clutching his leg towards his gut, and guys I have a weird feeling that this injury might be what closes this match out!
Stew-O: And you might be right here before Shane Gates is more focused on his injury than Ruler, as Ruler quickly gets up to his feet; and like a predator to prey he quickly swarms the body of Shane, grabbing the head of Shane quickly as he hooks it between his legs; Shane being unable to defend himself as his hands were both clutching his legs, Ruler moving both of them to the middle of the ring as he hooks both hands around Shane’s body; showing some OTHER WORLDLY amounts of strength as he lifts Shane up high, before going to SLAM HIM DOWN WITH THAT SPIKE PILE DRIVE, ‘MADE IN HEAVEN’ – AND IT CONNECTS!! AND THE COVER!!!
OONNNEEEEE!!!!
TWWWOOOOOO!!!!
THHRREEEEEEEE!!!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(‘Prices’ By Lil Uzi Vert blasts through the arena as Ruler slowly got to a knee, right over the body of Shane Gates who instantly clutches back at his leg though in a very disoriented state as the referee begins raising Ruler’s hand high in the air.)
Stephie Love: AND HERE IS YOUR WINNER… ‘THE REVOLUTIONIZER’… RULLERRRR!!!
Jake Mercer: And did you see what I seen? All it took was one moment of Shane Gates slipping up for Ruler to not only take over; but arguably make clean work of Shane Gates after targeting his leg, in a eye opening match-up to anyone over looking Ruler!
Flannery McCoy: Impressed is an UNDERSTATEMENT here because Ruler took his moment and shined at the expense of Shane Gates, who put up the best fight he could in those closing moments but it wasn’t enough to take Ruler down who proved his point to the world that THIS IS his season and whoever is New Breed Champion by the end of next week better watch their back, because he’s coming and he’s coming with a vengeance!
(The scene ends with Ruler standing high over Shane Gates who’s still tending his wounds, before he then turns around and leaves the ring to head to the backstage area while Friday Night Dynasty then begins to fade over to elsewhere.)
(Friday Night Dynasty comes back to the backstage area as the camera shows Soul Food Sunday and BULLETSTORM are seated across from one another while Tyrone Montgomery is at the end of the table. Visual Prophet and Astraea Jordan have a pair of smug grins while SOSA Henderson and Aurora Monroe look far more serious. No intense malice, but it’s clear as day that there is tension on their part as they look at their rivals right in their eyes. Tyrone presents the viewers with a smile before cutting through the thick air of silence.)
Tyrone Montgomery: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! Tonight, I wanted for these two teams to have a sit-down so that we can chat and clear some things up ahead of their match at Territorial Invasion. After all, it’s only just a couple of weeks away, and as we’ve approached closer to that fateful night, the tension only seems to rise between Soul Food Sunday and BULLETSTORM. The tension is so thick in fact that you can practically cut it with a knife.
(Tyrone chuckles, but that did little to clear away the obvious electricity in the room. BULLETSTORM side eye him whereas Soul Food Sunday look at each other with amused looks. Visual Prophet speaks up.)
Visual Prophet: Honestly, Tyrone, I would say that the tension is a bit one-sided.
Tyrone Montgomery: Oh?
(Tyrone raises a brow, giving a curious look. SOSA mumbles something underneath his breath whereas Aurora rolls her eyes.)
Visual Prophet: Let’s think back to where this all began, hm? Me and Dr. Angelo D’Angelo never meant any harm when it came to these two, and especially towards Aurora. All we wanted was to recruit her and make her a part of the family. We wanted to graciously welcome her with wide open arms because we saw her as a potential star–
Aurora Monroe: And as such, you were trying to drive a wedge between SOSA and I. Don’t be stupid here.
(Viz chuckles.)
Visual Prophet: Come on, Aurora. Surely you can let me speak? After all, we can have a civil conversation with one another for one night? There will be plenty of time for us to curse each other out and drag one another’s name at a later date– and, well, we already kind of did that.
(Astraea and Visual Prophet laugh, which makes SOSA scowl.)
SOSA Henderson: Man, y’all are beyond lame. You wanna talk about civil yet you just threw in a slick little pot shot there. You need to watch your mouth.
Visual Prophet: As should you, SOSA, and that is why we didn’t want you to join Aurora. Tyrone was right about you: you’re too rough around the edges.
SOSA Henderson: Excuse me?!
Tyrone Montgomery: Alright, settle down. Let’s not make things anymore heated than they already are. Again, we’re just expressing ourselves freely tonight, yes? Everyone will get a turn to explain themselves and how they are currently feeling.
(Tyrone turns to Visual Prophet.)
Tyrone Montgomery: Now, Viz, it seems like you and Astraea are confident in your abilities to defeat BULLETSTORM. Am I correct to assume that?
Visual Prophet: Oh, absolutely. In fact, it’s lightwork. That’s how Astraea and I see this. As a matter of fact, this match shouldn’t be happening after Astraea beat Aurora at Midsummer Massacre. How can they rebound if Miss Munroe already lost to my partner here?
Astraea Jordan: Tell them, Viz, ‘cause they really wanna be out here acting like they have an actual chance against us when they’re about to get dog walked by two-thirds of the most prolific team here in EAW.
(Aurora rubbed her temples and shook her head.)
Aurora Monroe: Oh my gosh. This is insane. You two cannot possibly believe that you have a leg up in this feud that we have, right? Need I remind you that not only were you not able to beat SOSA definitively, but Viz distracted me by beating up SOSA during our match? Have you truly become that delusional, or is that braid of yours cutting off a lot of circulation to your scalp? Hm?
Astraea Jordan: Girl, don’t be pressed because your stupid self couldn’t focus. If you really cared about winning, you would’ve kept your attention all on me instead of fretting about ol’ homeboy there.
Aurora Monroe: Wow. Is that the narrative we’re going to try and spin with this one? I guess it truly is delusion.
SOSA Henderson: Nah, you not about to carry on with that bull-ish, Astraea. Not only was it cheap for y’all to set that up, but had the tables been turned, you would’ve been fretting ‘bout your own homeboy too. So, what’s really good? Huh?
Astraea Jordan: I would’ve been worried, but not to the point where I would discard my competition, ESPECIALLY when I could’ve won the match. That’s the difference between us and y’all: you’re too emotional. Y’all ain’t truly built for gold if y’all are gonna fall for these types of tricks, boo. You really can’t be mad at us for that.
SOSA Henderson: Oh, really? You should be the last person talking about falling for tricks when Sheridan fooled your dumbass and let you get beat up.
Astraea Jordan: Aww. Is that the best you got? Come on now, SOSA, don’t come at me with none of that weak sauce. Also, you better watch your mouth before you get future endeavored like TLA.
Aurora Monroe: And there you go with those corny, lame jokes. You truly have changed, Astraea, and certainly not for the better. It’s okay, though. At Territorial Invasion, we’ll be the ones who get the last laugh by beating you two once and for all. We aren’t going to let you guys carry on with the games and weak tactics any longer. For a group that’s supposed to be unabashedly pro-Black, you sure do love your gaslight us. It’s a shame, too. If the two of you would’ve been your usual selves instead of cutting corners and trying to one-up us with unfair and underhanded tactics, none of this animosity would be here. In fact, this feud could’ve been a proper one with four of the best black athletes in EAW.
Visual Prophet: Hang on now. I thought you said you didn’t care about being labelled as a black athlete? :mjlol:
Aurora Monroe: No, but taking everything into account, it seems apt to utilize your line of thought to put things into perspective. You two, as well as Serena, are two-faced hypocrites whose actions are more detrimental to your people – to us – than beneficial. You wish to inspire others to follow along your footsteps, but by doing what, exactly? Cheating? Interfering? Distractions? Is that the sort of legacy you wish to leave behind?
SOSA Henderson: Exactly. Aurora and I ain’t squeaky clean, but one thing we don’t do is try and take the easy way out. We ain’t about to be cheating and BS-ing our way to be champions.
Astraea Jordan: Oh, look, he’s actually not cursing for once! Great job, SOSA!
SOSA Henderson: Man, fu–
(Aurora raises her hand at SOSA to catch him in time, prompting Viz and Astraea to laugh. Tyrone Montgomery remains seated, switching his attention between the two teams.)
Visual Prophet: Listen, if the two of you think you can beat us and go on to win those unified tag team championships, then you got all of this twisted. You’re just not good enough. Honestly, it’s like watching a replay of the Ice Aces. Just like them, we’re going to put the two of you down and continue being a team that actually matters here. Maybe your time will come, but as it stands now? That’s not going to be happening. Not with us poised to dominate the tag team division.
SOSA Henderson: Oh, no, y’all are the ones that are getting things twisted here. Don’t be making claims you ain’t gonna be backing up, ‘cause Aurora and I been a force throughout this season. We’ve beaten the former tag team champions. In fact, we’ve been cooking up more than you even with your ol’ Thanksgiving-sounding name. Once we settle this and we beat y’all at Territorial Invasion, the only thing Soul Food Sunday is gonna be cooking up is food in the back for catering. We’re really about to end y’all, and that’s on everything.
Aurora Monroe: Like SOSA said, we’re a force to be reckoned with. We may not have gotten the chance we wanted right away due to forces beyond our control…
(She and SOSA look at Tyrone.)
Aurora Monroe: …but we’ll find our way to the titles eventually. It’s inevitable, actually. There’s a lot of unfinished business that needs to be handled, and we’ll tend to them. In fact, if Serena wants to get herself involved, then she can do that as well. We’re going to run circles around you. We’re meant to. In just a couple of weeks, we’ll show you why we’re better than you, and you’ll have no choice but to sit there in defeat and realize that in spite of all of the shenanigans, Soul Food Sunday are no match for BULLETSTORM.
Astraea Jordan: … Viz?
Visual Prophet: Yeah?
Astraea Jordan: Are you bored?
Visual Prophet: Meh. A bit. Yeah. Can’t even front. But then again, isn’t everyone bored whenever Aurora speaks and we have to listen to her?
Aurora Monroe: Again, with the banal and immature jokes. Good to know the two of you are taking this very seriously.
Astraea Jordan: Oh, we ain’t gotta take the two of y’all seriously. You’re beneath us. Period.
SOSA Henderson: Yeah? Well, y’all are about to be beneath us once we tear into y’all and dogwalk you like the mutt you are.
Astraea Jordan: Y’all back with that lapdog nonsense?! Man, shut up, because y’all ain’t really saying nothing! Don’t be mad because we didn’t want your bum self hanging with us!
SOSA Henderson: Who you calling a bum? You wanna go for a round two?
Visual Prophet: Okay big boy, don’t get your panties in a twist trying to square up against a lady. You really are bottom-of-the-barrel trash, SOSA. A true thug at heart. No respect, and no class.
(SOSA jolts up from the chair along with Aurora, and Viz and Astraea are quick to follow. However, Tyrone shoots from his seat, getting right in the middle of the two teams.)
Tyrone Montgomery: Okay, everyone can relax. There is no need to fight when you all will be given the chance to square off soon. There’s a time and a place for everything. Now, I think it would be for the best that we all depart and carry on with the night. That would be the most ideal thing to do now.
(SOSA and Aurora are still heated, but they relent. Astraea and Visual Prophet also settle down.)
Tyrone Montgomery: Good. Now, Astraea Jordan, Visual Prophet and Aurora Munroe, I wish the three of you luck in your respective matches for tonight. And please, no fighting whatsoever. I’d hate to have to get security involved.
(BULLETSTORM get ready to leave before they stop from hearing Soul Food Sunday chortle.)
Visual Prophet: Yeah, I suppose. Would be a shame if SOSA got himself locked up again in his lifetime, wouldn’t it, Astraea?
Astraea Jordan: Absolutely. A huge shame, indeed.
(The two leave. Aurora and SOSA look at one another. SOSA shakes his head. Aurora takes a deep breath and places her hands on her hips.)
Aurora Monroe: Let’s go. We’ll get the last laugh.
SOSA Henderson: Yeah. For sure.
(BULLETSTORM collectively take their leave as it’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty from there begins to transition to elsewhere.)
(Friday Night Dynasty goes to the ring where Stephie Love is seen with a microphone in her hand ready to announce the next match!)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for… ONE FALL!!!!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!
(‘DNA’ by Kendrick Lamar begins to play throughout the arena to a huge positive reaction as PJ Hendrx walks through the curtain and onto the stage. Looking very confident, he begins to make his way down the ramp, before rolling into the ring and posing before going to his corner.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first… from Charlotte, North Carolina… weighing in at 195 pounds… “PHANTOM”… PJ HENDRX!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Since debuting in Elite Answers Wrestling, PJ Hendrx has been on an absolute roll, only ever suffering one loss as he continues to make an impact time and time again that he gets inside of that ring, but now tonight he has the opportunity for a star making performance, against the current Interwire Champion, Joso!
(‘DNA’ would fade away in the distance, as it is then replaced by ‘Trophies’ by Drake playing throughout the arena, a mixture of cheers and boos are given to the current Interwire Champion, as Joso comes out through the curtain and onto the stage. He raises the Interwire Championship, as he walks down the ramp before entering the ring and back into his corner.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent… from Bronx, New York… weighing in at 206 pounds… he is the CURRENT EAW Interwire Champion… THE ‘NEW ERA’… JOSO!!!!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: HE DON’T MISS! HE DON’T MISS! MY NEW ERA! MY INTERWIRE CHAMPION! THE KAISER SLAYER! JOSO DON’T MISS!!!
Flannery McCoy: Anyways… Ever since the beginning of season 16, Joso has been doing great, and at Poor Unfortunate Souls a couple of weeks ago, he had finally won the Interwire Championship in a match against Andre Walker and Ruler, and now he is on Team Dynasty in the Anarchy In The Arena match! But tonight he goes up against the newcomer PJ Hendrx, and we will see if he can continue his momentum!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And here we go! Joso and PJ Hendrx both meet in the middle of the ring, as they ignite a lockup! PJ tries to take the advantage of the lockup, but Joso is able to stop it, as he grabs PJ by around the waist, before pushing him forward, grabbing him by the arm and taking him down with the arm drag! Joso holds onto the arm, as he begins to wrench on it, but PJ is able to get himself out of it, and now he is the one on top as he has the arm of Joso!
Flannery McCoy: And now PJ drives his knee into the shoulder blade of Joso, before putting down pressure onto it, and then drives it right into the mat! Joso grabs his arm, as PJ Hendrx gets back up to his feet, before pulling Joso up with him, and PJ connects with a right hand to the face! But Joso hits him right back and PJ falls to a knee, as Joso gives Hendrx a taste of his own medicine with the huge right hand to the face.
Jake Mercer: Joso looks down at his fallen opponent, as now the current Interwire Champion runs the ropes, before running straight at PJ, but PJ moves out of the way, and then he pushes Joso towards the ropes… and PJ pulls Joso down and over into a rollup, and PJ may be able to pull up the upset right now!
OOONNNEEE!!!!!!!!!
TWWWWOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: But Joso is able to kick out of it! Joso and PJ Hendrx both get back up to their feet, and PJ is in this match to prove a point here tonight, and he might be able to do that as he catches Joso with a knee right to the gut! And now PJ runs the ropes, but Joso catches him by the leg, and takes him down with a leg sweep… but stomping right onto the leg, and Hendrx is hurt right now! And Joso is definitely going to be taking advantage of this!
Flannery McCoy: Joso picks PJ back up to his feet, and he connects with a brutal headbutt that rocks PJ! BUT PJ STAYS ON HIS FEET AND CONNECTS WITH AN ENZUIGIRI! Joso wobbles into the ropes from that enzuigiri, and PJ Hendrx is going to take the opportunity given to him as he locks his hand with Joso, before throwing him with an irish whip, as Joso is sent across the ring, and right back at him… but Joso is able to catch him with a dropkick, and PJ falls down to the mat below!
Jake Mercer: Joso has taken control back in this match, as he picks PJ up to his feet, before dropping him with a snap vertical suplex. PJ Hendrx has been trying his very best to keep up in this match, but it might end up being too much for him as Joso is now picking PJ back up to his feet once more, before dragging him to the center of the ring, but PJ is trying to fight back! You can tell that PJ is desperate here as he is trying to fight out of the grasp of Joso.
Stew-O: And PJ Hendrx is able to get Joso to let go of him, as he now runs the ropes, before catching Joso with a clothesline, but Joso doesn’t budge whatsoever! PJ runs the ropes once more, and he is looking for yet another clothesline… BUT JOSO CATCHES HIM! JOSO GRABS A HOLD OF PJ… AND HE PICKS PJ UP INTO A FRONT SUPLEX… BEFORE LIFTING HIM UP INTO A PICTURE PERFECT CUTTER! EXECUTIONER FROM HELL, AND JOSO GOES FOR THE COVER, AND THIS COULD BE THE END OF THE MATCH HERE!
OOONNNEEE!!!!!!!!!
TWWWWOOOO!!!!!!!!!
TTTHHHHHR-
Flannery McCoy: PJ HENDRX GETS THE SHOULDER UP AND THIS MATCH CONTINUES! PJ is having a star making performance here tonight, and even Joso looks awfully surprised at how PJ managed to get the shoulder up! Joso slowly gets back up to his feet, and he looks to pick PJ up with him… BUT PJ WITH ANOTHER ROLL UP… but this time PJ rolls through! PJ rolls through with the rollup as both men get back up to their feet… and a Hurricanrana by PJ Hendrx!
Jake Mercer: And when Joso gets back up to his feet this time around… he runs right into a superkick by PJ Hendrx! PJ once again has the Interwire Champion in a dangerous position here as PJ now grabs Joso, before throwing him into the corner. PJ runs towards the corner… before jumping onto Joso and holding him down as he flips him over with the monkey flip! Joso is caught off guard here and you can hear that the crowd is exploding for PJ Hendrx! Tonight may be his night!
Stew-O: Joso gets back up to his feet with the assistance of the ropes… but immediately PJ runs right at him and he connects with the cactus clothesline as both of them go over to the top rope, and Joso lands to the floor below, but PJ hangs onto the apron! PJ Hendrx rests on the apron, while once more you can see that Joso is getting back up to his feet, but you can tell that he is struggling, while PJ has the complete advantage! This is a star-making performance for him here tonight! And Joso is able to pull himself up…
Flannery McCoy: RUNNING SHOOTING STAR PRESS!!!! PJ CONNECTS WITH A SHOOTING STAR PRESS OFF OF THE APRON ONTO A STANDING JOSO, AND HE LANDS ON HIS FEET!! PJ QUICKLY RUNS INTO THE RING, AND THEN HE RUNS THE ROPES… AND HE DIVES OVER THE TOP ROPE AND HITS WHAT COULD BE CONSIDERED A 450 SPLASH! Joso could be done here as PJ picks Joso up to his feet, and throws him right back in the ring, following him as he climbs up onto the apron, and Joso picks himself back up…
Jake Mercer: AND PJ HENDRX SPRINGBOARDS, AND GOES FOR THE SPRINGBOARD SPEAR! PIERCE OF AFFLICTION!!!
Stew-O: But Joso moves out of the way! Joso moves out of the way and PJ Hendrx is able to roll through it, before getting right back up to his feet… and he runs right into a superkick by Joso! BUT PJ STAYS ON HIS FEET AS HE HITS A SUPERKICK OF HIS OWN… AND PJ GRABS JOSO, BEFORE PICKING HIM UP INTO A POWERBOMB POSITION… AND HE BRIDGES… AND CONNECTS WITH THE BRIDGING PACKAGE POWERBOMB!!! ‘PLANT ZERO!’ BUT HE DOESN’T EVEN HOLD ONTO THE BRIDGE FOR THE PIN! PJ ISN’T DONE JUST YET! WHAT IS HE GOING TO DO NEXT?!!
Flannery McCoy: Joso is completely out of it, but PJ isn’t even done yet, as he is grabbing Joso, before pulling him near the ropes, and he positions him in a perfect scenario for what I think he is going to be going for! PJ makes the slow climb up to the top rope, and he gets his standing, as Joso hasn’t moved at all… AND PJ HENDRX TAKES THE RISK AND JUMPS INTO THE AIR! CATCH YOUR BREATH! CATCH YOUR BREATH! CATCH YOUR BREATH! PJ HENDRX CONNECTS WITH THE PHOENIX SPLASH, AND HE SHOOTS THE HALF WITH THE PIN! THIS IS IT!
OOONNNEEE!!!!!!!!!
TWWWWOOOO!!!!!!!!!
TTTHHHHHRRRRR-
Jake Mercer: JOSO WAS ABLE TO KICK OUT! PJ Hendrx thought that he had it right then and there, but at the end of the day Joso was able to kick out, and the Interwire Champion is still in and this match is still on, and you can tell that PJ is upset right now. But PJ moves back up to his feet, as he backs into the corner, waiting for Joso to get back up as well, as he takes the breathing room given to him.
Stew-O: Joso is slowly but surely is able to get back up to his feet… but what he doesn’t realize is that PJ Hendrx is standing right in the corner waiting for him, as when Joso turns around… AND PJ RUNS STRAIGHT AT JOSO AND CATCHES HIM WITH A HUGE SHOTGUN DROPKICK THAT SENDS JOSO ACROSS THE RING AND INTO THE CORNER! PJ HENDRX HAS THE INTERWIRE CHAMPION RIGHT WHERE HE WANTS HIM AS HE TAKES JOSO, AND SETS HIM DOWN ONTO THE TOP ROPE BEFORE CLIMBING UP WITH HIM! COULD PJ BE GOING FOR IT?!!
Flannery McCoy: PJ HENDRX JUMPS ONTO THE SHOULDERS OF JOSO AND HE FALLS BACK, AND HE CONNECTS WITH THE TOP ROPE POISONRANA!!!! JOSO WITH THE ROUGH CRASH LANDING AS HE BOUNCES UP TO HIS KNEES, AND PJ HENDRX RUNS THE ROPES FOR THE BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE! PJ COMPLETES THE ‘FINAL FLASH’!!!!
Jake Mercer: LARITOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JOSO POPS RIGHT BACK UP TO HIS FEET AND CONNECTS WITH THE HUGE LARIAT AND PJ HENDRX FLIPPED INSIDE OUT AND IS COMPLETELY OUT OF IT! JOSO PICKS PJ BACK UP TO HIS FEET, BEFORE THROWING HIM OVER HIS SHOULDERS…
Stew-O: AND HE CONNECTS WITH THE GRATEFUL DEATH! ARGENTINE BACKBREAKER TRANSITIONED INTO THE KNEE LIFT AND PJ HENDRX IS KNOCKED THE HELL OUT! JOSO HOOKS THE LEG, AND THE COVER IS MADE!
OOONNNEEE!!!!!!!!!
TWWWWOOOO!!!!!!!!!
TTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… THE EAW INTERWIRE CHAMPION, JOSO!!!!!!!!!!!
(‘Trophies’ begins to blast throughout the arena to a mixture of cheers and boos, as Joso is able to get up to his feet as his hand gets raised by the referee. He gets handed the Interwire Championship, raising it in the air as he celebrates his victory.)
Flannery McCoy: WOW!! At many parts of this match, I genuinely thought that PJ Hendrx had won this match, but in the end he didn’t have enough in him to be able to beat Joso. The current EAW Interwire Champion continues his momentum heading into Territorial Invasion with a great match, but barely surviving and escaping with the win tonight!
Jake Mercer: 5 STARS! 6 STARS! I would even say possible 7 Stars, but it didn’t happen in the Tokyo Dome, but still! AMAZING MATCH!!
(As PJ Hendrx is being checked on by the referee, seated near the ropes, Joso would approach him. He extends his hand out to PJ, as PJ accepts, and Joso helps him up to his feet before they would shake hands and Joso pats PJ on the back.)
Joso: (off-mic) Thank you for bringing me your absolute best. You did great.
(Joso would then raise the hand of PJ, as PJ would smile before exiting the ring. Joso would then continue to celebrate his victory as the camera would then fade from there.)
(A commercial is shown for KEEPS Haircare featuring Hardcore Champion Charlie Marr.)
( Friday Night Dynasty returns from a commercial break as ‘O Fortuna’ by Carl Orff fills the arena as the camera pans to show Madison Kaline in the middle of the ring with a microphone in hand, with Jay Jerry Johnson, and the Off-Brand Amphetamines at her side. Boos begin to fill the arena as Madison raises the microphone up to her mouth to speak before ‘O Fortuna’ fades out. )
Madison Kaline: Before I go into detail, I want it to be known that these past few weeks have been some of the most fun and eventful weeks of my career. I’ve come up big in matches against the likes of The Visual Prophet, Limmy Monaghan, and Amir Yusuf. Just last week I pinned SOSA Henderson in the middle of this very ring! And it goes without saying that I was mere moments away from ripping the World Heavyweight Championship from the grips of Andre Walker!
( The crowd continues to boo as Madison looks around with a smile on her face before she continues speaking. )
Madison Kaline: But I’m not out here to give you all a refresher on recent events. To make a long story short, what I’m trying to say in lesser words is that, these experiences that I’ve had over the past few weeks— facing the best that Dynasty has to offer, has done nothing but hype me up for Brand Warfare at Territorial Invasion. I’m not just satisfied with facing Dynasty’s best. I want to face the best that both Showdown and Voltage have to offer!
( The crowd is split between a mixture of cheers and boos before finally quieting down as Madison once again raises the microphone to speak. )
Madison Kaline: But more importantly than that, I want to use this opportunity that I’ve been given to show proof that not only am I capable of stepping up to the plate. I’m capable of recruiting a great team and leading them to win it all, no matter who it is that gets in our way! I mean look at the talent that’s standing in this ring right now. To my left, you have the former Unified Tag Team Champions, Solomon Stane and Kirk Redwood, The Off-Brand Amphetamines. Two of the most talented and skillful elitists Dynasty has. To my right, you have a man with a never-say-die attitude. Capable of taking damage just as well as he dishes it out in Jay Jerry Johnson. And then you obviously have me, who needs no introduction. My resume is so long that it speaks for itself.
( A grin begins to form on Madison’s face as the crowd once again starts booing, of which she continues to tune out before finally starting to speak again. )
Madison Kaline: But as aforementioned, I’m not out here to give a history lesson. No, there’s a specific reason why the four of us are in this ring here tonight. Last week, Bronson Daniels and Charlie Marr had a match that was tossed out when both of them were attacked by those cowards on Showdown. Me, being the generous caring soul that I am, instructed my team to rush out with me to make the save. And that’s exactly what we did. We proved to Showdown that we’re nothing to play with.
( The Off-Brand Amphetamines and Jay Jerry Johnson nod their heads in acknowledgment of Madison’s words before she continues on. )
Madison Kaline: But still, it’s as I said last week. All we were missing was the one piece to make us whole again. And after last week— we finally have it. So without any further ado, everyone get on your feet and welcome the fifth and final member of Dynastys Brand Warfare Team… BRONSON DANIELS!!
( ‘ Runnin ‘ by 21 Savage hits, as the crowd erupts in a series of cheers as Bronson Daniels makes his way from gorilla and down the ramp into the ring, before shaking Madison’s hand and receiving a microphone of his own as ‘ Runnin ‘ fades out. )
Bronson Daniels: Thank you for that introduction Madison. Really. Thank you. And thank you for extending me an invitation to get even with those bozos on Showdown. Last week really caught me off guard more so than anything. After being gone for so long you kind of forget how things work around here. But quickly, very quickly you learn that everyone’s out to send and deliver a message, and that was Team Showdowns’ goal last week. They sent a message that was heard loud and clear. But I want it to be known that I have a message of my own.
( The camera zooms in on Bronson Daniels’s face as his expression shifts from a calm one to a more serious look before he starts speaking once more. )
Bronson Daniels: These past few weeks, I’ve felt as if I’ve just been going through the motions. Picking up wins here and there but in the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t really mean much. In truth, all I’ve done since I’ve returned is count down the seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks— however long it takes for me to get my moment. And this is it. This is my chance to finally show everyone that I am really back. This is my chance to show the entire world what Bronson Daniels can do and what I am truly capable of. Just like Madison, Solomon, Kirk, and Jay; Brand Warfare is my chance, it’s my opportunity to prove that not only do I belong, but I am better than ever.
( The crowd begins to cheer in approval of Bronson Daniel’s words before he pauses and looks at the sold-out crowd in the AccorsHotel Arena before he continues on. )
Bronson Daniels: I’m more than willing to be a team player if it means Dynasty leaves Territorial Invasion as the winner. And I know that’ll be easier said than done. Every team has some heavy hitters. Voltage has Charlie Marr, The Prescription, and Daryl Kinkade. Showdown has Chris Elite, Jon Kelton, and Donovan Duke. None of them are going to go down quietly. And honestly… I look forward to the challenge. I look forward to seeing what each and every single one of you is made of. But in the end, it won’t matter. Because when it’s all said and done, the same five people that you see standing in this ring right now, will be the same five people you see standing tall and victorious at Territorial Invasion.
( Bronson Daniels drops his microphone whilst still staring directly into the camera as ‘ Runnin ‘ once again begins to fill the arena before the scene inevitably fades elsewhere. )
(A commercial is shown for She-Hulk exclusively on Disney+.)
(Friday Night Dynasty comes back from commercial break to Stephie Love standing at the center of the ring with a smile on her face ready to announce the next match!)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘Sweet Caroline’ by Neil Diamond is heard playing up to the loud cheers of the crowd as Caroline enthusiastically skips out to the stage. She waves around at the people in attendance here tonight before bringing herself toward the center of the stage and looking toward the ring. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath before then making her way down the ramp with a determined look on her face.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first… from Paducah, Kentucky… weighing in at 109 pounds… ‘SWEET’ CAROLINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(‘Antihero’ by LISA is then heard playing up with the camera going over to show Jay Jerry Johnson confidently making his way out to the stage. He has a nonchalant expression on his face as he looks around at the crowd in attendance tonight who meet him with a mixed reaction. Jay then looks toward the ring, popping his neck before then beginning to make his way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: And her opponent… from Yokohama, Japan… weighing in at 206 pounds… ‘THE CHARISMATIC ARTIST’… JAY JERRY JOHNSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: Here we go! Caroline immediately bolts at Jay Jerry Johnson, but Jay is able to move out of the way as he locks in a side headlock, but Caroline is able to push Jay towards the ropes, as she gets him off her while Jay rebounds off the ropes, and he takes Caroline down with a shoulder tackle! Jay takes another run on the ropes, but this time Caroline is able to move up to her feet, and she catches Jay with an armdrag! Both Elitists get back up, and Caroline with yet another armdrag, and then holds onto that arm.
Flannery McCoy: Caroline tries to twist around, but in that time, Jay is able to wiggle his way out of Caroline’s grasp, and now Jay goes back into the side headlock, but he quickly moves out of it before getting up to his feet… and he runs the ropes before booting Caroline right in the face! And then knees her in the face as well! Caroline is down, and it looks like Jay Jerry Johnson is going to go for the first cover in this match!
OOONNNEEE!!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: But Caroline quickly kicks out at a count of one, and both are back up to their feet, and Caroline gets a strike in! But Triple J gets one of his own in! And then Caroline! And now Caroline is overwhelming Jay into the corner, as she begins to get in lefts and rights on him, Jay trying to protect himself… but Caroline catches him with a lifting knee in the corner, and then a hip toss! Caroline runs the ropes, but Jay immediately gets up and he catches her at the ropes, and catches her with a clothesline sending her over the ropes!
Stew-O: But Caroline holds on and lands on the apron! Caroline is on the apron, and Jay tries to strike her down, but Caroline is able to reverse it and she is fighting Triple J off! Jay backs away as Caroline quickly moves up to the top rope, and while Jay can’t do anything about it, Caroline jumps in the air and connects with a huge diving crossbody! And now it is Caroline who is looking for the early cover in this match.
OOONNNEEE!!!!!!!!!
TWWWWOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: But Jay Jerry Johnson is able to get a safe kickout at two, and Caroline looks a bit frustrated, but Jay wasn’t going to go down so easily. Caroline moves to her feet, as she goes to pick Jay up… but Jay connects with a stiff backfist! That rocks Caroline down to her knees, as Jay quickly grabs a hold of her arm, and he twists around and locks in a cross armbar! Caroline has nowhere to go and Jay has that armbar in tight, and Caroline may have no choice but to tap here!
Jake Mercer: Triple J has this locked in in the middle of the ring, and Caroline has nowhere to go, but she is still trying to crawl or try to fight out of it! Jay continues to wrench on that arm, and you can hear Caroline just yelling out in agony while she is attempting to escape this cross armbar, but Jay will not let go! Jay has this in tight! You can tell that Caroline is swinging her hand around and she may be looking to tap out!
Stew-O: Caroline is trying her very hardest to get out of this hold, but it may be too much for her. Jay Jerry Johnson is known to be one of the best technical Elitists here in EAW, and this cross armbar is just tearing apart at the arm of Caroline. But… Caroline is starting to get closer to the ropes! She may be able to make it, and you can tell that Jay is struggling to keep her away from them, but it may be too much…
Flannery McCoy: CAROLINE IS ABLE TO GET HER FOOT ON THE ROPE AND THE MATCH CONTINUES! Jay Jerry Johnson is forced to let go of the cross armbar, as Caroline is given a moment to be checked on. The referee allows for this match to continue, as Caroline gets back up to her feet, Jay runs at her… but Caroline catches him with an enzuigiri! And then another one and Jay falls down to a knee! And then Caroline connects with a swift roundhouse kick right across the head!
Jake Mercer: Jay Jerry Johnson is still on his knees, but he might not be for long as Caroline runs the ropes, and she runs straight at Jay… but Jay is able to quickly get back up to his feet and he moves out of dodge, before grabbing a hold of Caroline from behind, and he drops her with a snap dragon suplex! Caroline landed right on her head, but Jay isn’t done as he picks Caroline back up… but Caroline knees him right in the gut… only to get caught by a right hand!
Stew-O: JAY JERRY JOHNSON WAS GOING FOR PRETTY VISITOR BUT CAROLINE MOVED OUT OF THE WAY AND PUSHES HIM OFF HER! Jay runs the ropes, running back at Caroline, but he gets caught with a right hand! And another one! And now Caroline is taking control of his match as… she catches Jay with a ddt! Jay is down, and now Caroline is looking to take a breather from it, while Jay Jerry Johnson is down and out on the mat.
Flannery McCoy: But Caroline looks like she is going to go for something huge! She is moving Jay near the ropes, and now she is climbing the top rope! Jay is down and out, and Caroline is balancing, keeping her standing on the top rope… AND SHE JUMPS IN THE AIR AND CONNECTS WITH THE 450 SPLASH! CAROLINE WITH THE CUPCAKE SPLASH! JAY JERRY JOHNSON IS OUT OF IT, AND CAROLINE SHOOTS THE HALF, AND GOES FOR THE COVER! THIS COULD BE IT! CAROLINE COULD WIN IT RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!
OOONNNEEE!!!!!!!!!
TWWWWOOOO!!!!!!!!!
TTTHHHHHRRRRR-
Jake Mercer: JAY JERRY JOHNSON KICKS OUT! You can tell that Caroline is upset right here, as she thought that she had won this match, but Jay was able to get the shoulder up in the end, preventing this match from ending. Caroline gets back up to her feet, pulling Jay up with her, but Jay is starting to fight back! Jay connects with a knee! Jay irish whips Caroline into the corner now, and he connects with a clothesline! Clothesline to Caroline, and Jay is right back in the match this quickly.
Stew-O: Caroline is trying to fight back, but Jay Jerry Johnson is just too much for her! Even the Cupcake Splash wasn’t enough, as now Jay just knees Caroline right in the face, and Caroline looks to be out! Jay is trying to prove here why exactly he is on the Brand Warfare team for Dynasty, and he is not going to stop as now he is just connecting with rights and lefts and Caroline cannot protect herself whatsoever! This is hard to watch but Jay Jerry Johnson will not stop, he is going to make sure that this win is decisive!
Flannery McCoy: But Caroline is still trying to fight back! Caroline is able to escape this situation, as she gets up to her feet, but Jay swings at her, but Caroline ducks! Caroline ducks and she catches Jay with a swing of her own, but Jay stays on his feet! Jay stays on his feet! Caroline keeps trying to fight back, but Jay is just holding her at bay as he catches her with a vertical suplex! This may just be it for Caroline as Triple J gets back up, and he is fully confident in what the result of this match is going to be.
Jake Mercer: Jay picks Caroline back up to her feet… WAIT CAROLINE JUST WENT FOR SUGAR AND SPICE BUT JAY JERRY JOHNSON KEEPS GUARD AND HE PUSHES HER OFF HIM! CAROLINE RUNS AT JAY, BUT JAY MOVES OUT OF THE WAY, AND CAROLINE TURNS TOWARDS HIM… PRETTY VISITOR! PRETTY VISITOR! JAY JERRY JOHNSON WITH THE CUTTER OUT OF NOWHERE, AND CAROLINE GOES DOWN! CAROLINE IS OUT, AND JAY GOES FOR THE COVER! THIS HAS TO BE IT, CAROLINE IS OUT OF IT! IT’S OVER!
OOONNNEEE!!!!!!!!!
TWWWWOOOO!!!!!!!!!
TTTHHHHHRRRRR-
Stew-O: CAROLINE KICKS OUT! JAY JERRY JOHNSON DIDN’T SEEN IT COMING! JAY DIDN’T SEE CAROLINE KICKING OUT, AND LOOK AT THE FRUSTRATION ON HIS FACE! Jay picks Caroline back up to her feet, and you can tell just how angered he is as he is going to finish it once and for all! Caroline can’t do anything about it… AND JAY HITS IT! ALT + F4-
Flanney McCoy: WAIT CAROLINE FIGHTS OUT OF IT, AND SHE CATCHES JAY WITH A BACK BODY DROP… AND SHE CATCHES JAY IN A ROLLUP! THIS COULD BE IT! JAY IS IN TROUBLE! CAROLINE HAS JAY!
OOONNNEEE!!!!!!!!!
TWWWWOOOO!!!!!!!!!
TTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… ‘SWEET’ CAROLINE!!!!!!!
(‘Sweet Caroline’ begins to play throughout the arena to a huge reaction of cheers as Caroline quickly rolls out of the ring, and gets her arm raised by the referee as she celebrates her victory. Jay does not look happy at this as Caroline quickly backpedals up the ramp.)
Stew-O: CAROLINE JUST STOLE THE VICTORY! JAY JERRY JOHNSON IS NOT HAPPY! CAROLINE WINS THIS MATCH BUT JUST BARELY SURVIVING!
Flannery McCoy: WOW, what a surprising way to end this one. Both of these Elitists really did their all to win but in the end it was Caroline that managed to outsmart Jay and roll him right up to get the victory here tonight and you’re right Jay is absolutely pissed about it. Congratulations to Caroline!
(Caroline continues to celebrate her victory as Jay is yelling at the referee inside the ring as the camera fades from there.)
(Friday Night Dynasty slowly begins to fade back into view, where we would see Albert Hitchman on screen, sat in a black room, with a hint of yellow lighting, in a brown leather chair. At each side of the chair is two wooden stools, and on top of them he has seemingly placed two photos. One of which features Andre Walker holding the New Breed Championship, the other being Andre Walker just after dethroning The Visual Prophet in the main event of Pain For Pride – two historical moments in Andre’s career, two of many. Albert leans forward…)
Albert Hitchman: Andre Walker and Amir Yusuf are undoubtedly similar, but inarguably incomparable.
(With that sentence, the camera would transition forward. On the screen, we see an image of Amir and Andre face-to-face, the camera slowly zooming back.)
Albert Hitchman: Amir Yusuf was supposedly “next up” in his early beginnings, stepping into the company with hopes higher than Everest; eventually picking up a victory with the New Breed Championship on the line. Amir Yusuf walked the same path that Andre Walker walked, holding the same championship Andre Walker had previously not only been dominant with but had also made history with – when he cemented himself as an All Star.
(The camera fades through multiple of Andre Walker’s defenses, against the likes of DEDEDE, and the gauntlet as just two examples.)
Albert Hitchman: But where Andre Walker thrived, Amir Yusuf fell. Where Andre Walker climbed, Amir Yusuf tripped. Andre’s best was Amir’s worst… until Andre got better. We can’t say the same thing for Amir Yusuf…
(Then, the Jon Kelton vs Amir Yusuf match ending flashes up on screen…)
Albert Hitchman: For those who need a reminder; Andre Walker VACATED his Championship after breaking the reign for longest reigning. He moved onto bigger and better things. Amir, on the other hand, his reign ended abruptly on an episode of Showdown. Andre was holding historic matches on Free-Per-View, Amir was holding historically mediocre matches against Lucas Johnson. That is simply a fact. Not a diss. Andre Walker’s rise to the top was titanic, Amir Yusuf’s career BECAME the titanic. Amir and Andre are similar, but incomparable. Check the tape. Look at the facts. It’s the truth…
(The camera would then fade to multiple matches Andre Walker competed in following the New Breed Championship being vacated – flashes of his performances in Cash in The Vault, at Territorial Invasion, and against Bronson Walker for the Interwire Championship all pop up on screen.)
Albert Hitchman: Following that, look at what Andre Walker did compared to Amir in their respective post-Championship reigns. Amir Yusuf flew through the Showdown midcard division being the guy who flies high but couldn’t *really* fly high, all the way up until the very moment he called Andre Walker out. For Andre? He had conquered absolutely everybody in his path, before inevitably reaching the Interwire Championship. White and Gold around the Kaiser’s waist, and he didn’t pass up on yet another opportunity to make history…
(On screen flashes up Andre Walker’s matches against Johnny Andrews, Solomon Stane, the King of Elite finals, Xander Payne, Scott Diamond, and eventually The Visual Prophet.)
Albert Hitchman: Name, after name, after name, after name, after name; look at what Andre Walker did as Interwire Champion. He was on a fast track to becoming not only the longest reigning Interwire Champion, but the EAW World Heavyweight Champion. Where most stories meet their lowpoint, their rock bottom before they can eventually work their way back up to the top for a heartwarming journey… Andre Walker NEVER met rock bottom. He conquered. While Amir Yusuf was losing to Jack Ripley, Andre Walker was winning the World Heavyweight Championship in the Pain For Pride main event – the last match on the 15th anniversary of a historic event. Creating a legend into an icon while Amir can’t make himself a main event figure. Andre Walker could feasibly retire tomorrow and be one of the greatest Hall of Famers to ever do it, and the fact is we’re only getting started. Amir Yusuf could feasibly retire tomorrow, and the world would think he couldn’t handle it. There are levels.
(Suddenly, the selection of matches would flash to darkness as we fade back to the dimly lit, yellow lighted room that Albert Hitchman sits in. Albert leans back in the chair, adjusting his fitted suit, before he once again begins to speak his wisdom into the camera.)
Albert Hitchman: There are plenty of levels to this game. There’s the mediocre, the good, the great, and then there’s Andre Walker. I say this as unbiased as I possibly can; Andre Walker is on a level that Amir Yusuf couldn’t reach even in a lucid dream. I’m emphasizing this not to play Amir’s ability down and claim that he doesn’t have the ability to be successful one day, I’m emphasizing this so the world will know that Amir Yusuf is way out of his league against a perpetual powerhouse on the Andre Walker-shaped totem poll. Amir Yusuf is out of his league, fighting someone who is the fullest most powerful version of the person that Amir Yusuf was *supposed* to be. The Rookie of The Year award, just like Viz before him, unlike Amir after him is what boosted Andre Walker to the next level, the weight of the world that Amir couldn’t lift up. Their careers follow similar paths, beyond a shadow of a doubt, but Amir couldn’t fill the shoes that Andre had carefully placed down for him. Andre winning those awards gives those awards more meaning, more than the award giving him meaning, and Amir couldn’t live up. He took one small dip, and that was the final nail in the coffin, as their career trajectories went in completely opposite directions like a cross roads. The Irreplacable couldn’t replace the man that came before him. Amir fell while Andre Walker became one of the greatest Elitists this company has and will ever see. The truth is, Amir isn’t playing on Andre’s level.
(The camera then fades out to show a picture of Andre Walker with the King of Elite crown on his head…)
Albert Hitchman: Amir plays in parks that reside in Andre Walker’s world. That’s all we really need to know, isn’t it?
(As Albert Hitchman finishes his sentence, he would slightly smirk, before the video package fades out to black, leaving the arena in silence. However, it wouldn’t be done just yet. The camera would begin to fade back into the light, as we see Amir Yusuf dressed in his ring-gear alongside an Amir Yusuf T-Shirt watching this video package stood in front of a Dynasty-branded LED wall, with a propped up television screen directly next to him. Amir would also be stretching his ligaments as he prepares for a huge match against none other than The Visual Prophet himself later on in the night, making sure that he has focus on not only his opponent for tonight but also his opponent for the Territorial Invasion Free-Per-View event, in which the EAW World Heavyweight Championship would be on the line. Standing by would be Michael Belfort, holding an EAW-branded microphone in his left hand, not too eager to disturb the young bull, but regardless, Michael Belfort would walk up closer before tapping Amir Yusuf on his shoulder. Amir doesn’t give him a very happy reaction, if anything he lets out a slight groan, but he doesn’t shove Michael Belfort away or anything antagonistic like that. He simply turns his attention to him, unpleased.)
Amir Yusuf: I get it, I know what you’re here for. Just know, I’d rather you let me prepare to do my job and come out victorious than answering whatever it is you have to ask…
(Michael Belfort puffs his cheeks up before blowing air out of his mouth.)
Michael Belfort: I understand, Amir, I won’t be wasting any more of your time than I need to. However, as you may have just saw, Albert Hitchman left some very… insulting words for you to say the least. Would you like to share your thoughts on that video the whole world just saw?
(Amir Yusuf chuckles slightly under his breath, before moving in closer to the microphone that Michael Belfort eventually lifted up closer to Amir’s face, just after he asked his question.)
Amir Yusuf: How do you want me to react? You think I’m gonna be hurt over something like this? You think tears are gonna stroll down my face? You think I’m gonna blow a gasket and shoot steam out of my nose like a Tom and Jerry cartoon? Nothing that Albert said is actually going to phase me, and if he and Andre Walker genuinely believe that this is a tactic that’ll get under my skin, they best put on their hard hats and get ready for the bitter, cold feeling of disappointment. This doesn’t affect me in the slightest. Running back experiences I already know exist don’t provide a sense of shock value to this match, nor does it make me feel any nerves. Quite frankly, I embrace all of that. All of that failure, all of that struggle; I embrace it because it’s not me anymore. The old Amir Yusuf is dead and I’m the one who held the gun, pulled the trigger, and watched him splat over the sidewalk. Me! Not anyone else. I became a better version of myself, and that certainly isn’t Andre Walker 2.0, that’s Amir Yusuf – someone I KNOW is better than any version of Andre Walker.
(Amir Yusuf puts his hand on Michael Belfort’s shoulder.)
Amir Yusuf: Do you think it’s a surprise to me that the odds are supposedly stacked against my shoulders? I’ve been dealing with the underdog psyche my entire life, and it’s suddenly supposed to be too much for me? I get it. I know how it works. I know how to overcome it, rather than making it a crutch. There are levels to this and I can easily climb those levels by being Amir Yusuf. Now a crowd pleaser. Not a kid with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. Someone who has more determination than anyone on this roster, anyone in that crowd for that matter. I fight for things THEY could only dream of, and I can absolutely make all of what Andre Walker has a dream of yesteryear. The odds are stacked against me, but they don’t know that these moments are exactly where I thrive, more than anyone else. I’m going to prove that at Territorial Invasion. I’m going to prove that tonight, especially tonight. I’ve said it once, twice, a million times over and I’m going to say it again because people consistently need to be reminded of the truth; I am the next EAW World Heavyweight Champion. Andre Walker is going to brag about how much history he made, but now HE’S going to be the one with a reign of mediocrity. And I’LL go down in history as the man that cut off Andre Walker’s momentum before it could ever get going. I’ll do so with the EAW World Heavyweight Championship wrapped around my waist, proving that above all else, I am undeniable, I am unbreakable, I am irreplaceable, no matter who or what *wants* to replace me.
(Amir Yusuf patronizingly pats Michael Belfort on the cheek twice over, causing him to flinch, as he puts a fake-friendly smile on his face. Amir shakes Michael by the arm, rocking him around rather effortlessly, before using that grip to shove him out of his way. Amir Yusuf then begins to storm out of the camera’s view, seemingly going back to preparing for his matchup against The Visual Prophet. The camera would then pan back over to Michael Belfort, who seems disappointed that him doing his job resulted in him being embarrassed. The camera lingers on his facial reaction, before fading out back to the ringside area…)
(As Dynasty fades back to the ring, Stephie Love is seen standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone in her hand.)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for…ONE FALL!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!
(‘Changed It’ By Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby hit the speakers to an array of boo’s as Milli Banks quickly came out of the Gorilla Position opening; Milli Banks all smiles here tonight as she buffered all of the hate coming from the EAW Universe off of her, making strides to the ring with confidence and determination brimming from her demeanor as she slid into the ring, taunting the crowd all the way to her corner before turning back to the titan-tron awaiting her opponent.
Stephie Love: Introducing First… Weighing in at 130 Pounds… She is, ‘ THE BROOKLYN BANKROLLER’… MILLIIIII BANKSSSS!
Stew-O: And we’re back with Dynasty, and a very interesting match coming our way as we will see Milli Banks takes on a heavy hitter here on Dynasty, Aurora Monroe in a match that honestly? I believe could go either way – with both women being so gifted in the ring and having momentum going for each of them, there is no clear answer as to who I see coming into this match as the definitive favorite.
Flannery McCoy: I agree with your point to a tee, I mean we see Milli Banks’s mindset is at it’s peak – but I know there isn’t a question about Aurora Monroe not being fully focused on leveling the momentum that Milli Banks brings, meaning that this match will only be delegated by the slightest mistake or if one of these women simply can not get to their feet – but this match PROMISES to be a good one.
( As ‘Changed It’ faded out, ‘Drama’ By LightSkinKeisha played through the arena’s speakers as the crowd greeted Aurora Monroe highly with a heavy amount of cheers as Aurora Monroe would come out of the titan tron’s entrance, flanked by her tag team partner SOSA Henderson as the duo made paes down to the ring, Aurora stepping onto the apron and through the top rope as Sosa Henderson would find place in Aurora’s corner, Aurora Monroe hyping herself up as she eyed down Milli Banks before heading into her corner.)
Stephie Love: And her opponent… Accompanied by, Sosa Henderson… SHE IS, ‘THE TEMPEST’… AURORAA MONROEEEEEE!!!!
Stew-O: And you’ve got to think here that maybe Aurora has the edge here tonight with having the motivation and possible help from her tag team partner SOSA Henderson right in her corner while Milli is coming out here as a one person army; and with a match so indecisive like this it might be those small details that decide who walks out of here tonight with a win around their name. :lupe:
Jake Mercer: Look, I don’t care who’s in who’s corner, both of these women are zoned on each other and nobody else – this is simply going to be a shot for shot contest that will go down in HISTORY for this company, all on a weekly episode of Dynasty! I’m calling it to be a Marquee already and no less!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Flannery McCoy: And we’re underway now as Aurora Monroe and Milli Banks both exit their corners, neither women doing a flagrant attack early as they both circle to the center of the ring; and it looks like we’re starting this match with a collar and elbow tie up as Milli Banks and Aurora Monroe are locking up; and the test of strength begins – though Aurora getting a sizeable advantage to begin as she pushes Milli Banks all the way onto the ropes, switching the lock up as she whips Milli Banks’s arm forward, Milli ricocheting into the opposite ropes – running STRAIGHT into a shoulder tackle by Aurora Monroe; completely flooring Milli!
Stew-O: And Milli Banks just looking up at a completely dominant looking Aurora Monroe with a very calm grin, it’s clear there is some mental games at play between these two – and for someone like Milli Banks who might be called as the Queen of Mindgames here in EAW? That can force some SERIOUS sparks to fly as Aurora Monroe picks Milli Banks up by her shoulders, though Milli not yet staggered as she sends shots to the core of Aurora Monroe; staggering for the moment before Milli looks to be winding her first back for a massive right hand shot to the jaw – but Aurora Monroe grabs her arm just in time!!! Those shots clearly not doing enough as Aurora yanks the arm of Milli forward, turning her around before hitting a MASSIVE SUPLEX ON MILLI BANKS, SENDING HER FLYING INTO HER CORNER TO START THIS MATCH OFF WITH A BANG!
Jake Mercer: Yikes, and what a landing for Milli Banks as she lands awkwardly on her back, though Milli Banks still not fully out of hit as she sits in a seated position in the corner; clearly a bit shocked about how things are going in this match though we can see her favoring her back right now from that Suplex as SOSA Henderson is cheering on his partner in Aurora Monroe for her succession early on as Aurora is wasting little time applying the pressure, not wanting Milli Banks to recover too much as Aurora as she grabs both the legs of Milli Banks, dragging her out the corner with Milli not putting up much of a fight as Aurora let’s go, standing above her body as she raises her arms out high in pride of her stride thus far before focusing back in; aiming her sights before going for a standing elbow drop- but Milli BARELY evades the attack, Milli sweeping her legs before landing a seated kick right into the face of a downed Aurora Monroe!
Flannery McCoy: And now it’s the momentum fully in the air as Milli staggered up to her feet quickly, leaning on the ropes as she tries to obtain her balance as Aurora Monroe is getting up to her feet in the middle of the ring; favoring her temple where the kick landed as Milli Banks steps forward, matching up with Aurora Monroe before sending a KNEE to the jaw of Aurora Monroe sending her straight to a knee; but Milli Banks not done yet with ANOTHER KNEE to the jaw of Aurora Monroe; and yet Aurora Monroe still having the strength to stay up as Milli Looks on, backing up slightly before running forward for a third knee – AND THE RUNNING KNEE CONNECTS, AND THIS ONE FLOORED AURORA MONROE AS MILLI BANKS IS TURNING THIS MATCH INTO HER FAVOR!!
Jake Mercer: And that’s gonna be one to either wake up or put Aurora Monroe to sleep as Milli Banks just like that is back in this match and with a vengeance as she lurks over Aurora Monroe – surprisingly no taunting yet from Milli Banks maybe showcasing how much she is taking Aurora seriously as a competitor, and by the looks of it she’s pulling out all the stops as Milli Banks drags Aurora up to her feet; pulling her towards the ropes as she leans Aurora over the top rope, Milli Banks looking for something innovative here as she goes through the middle rope, hopping onto the apron as she stands behind Aurora Monroe – BEFORE GOING FOR A ROPE ASSISTED BACKPACK CHOKEHOLD, RAPPING HER LEGS AROUND THE WAIST OF AURORA AS SHE’S STUCK WITH MILLI BANKS CHOKING HER OUT WITH NOWHERE TO RUN!!
1!
2!
3!
4!
5!
(The referee called Milli Banks off, Milli holding the submission on a little long before allowing Aurora Monroe to escape her grasps as Aurora Monroe stumbled forward, Milli resting on the apron as the referee backed up between them.)
Stew-O: And it’s Milli Banks leading the chase – and I don’t think she’s done just yet as she grabs onto the top rope, sizing Aurora up just as she turns around; Milli Banks jumping onto the top rope – AND IT’S A SPRINGBOARD METEORA ONTO AURORA MONROE THAT CONNECTS, AND MILLI BANKS LOCKS THE LEGS OF AURORA MONROE INTO THE COVER!!!
ONNEEEEEEE!!!!
TWWWOOOOO!!!
THRR-
Stew-O: And it’s Aurora Monroe with the sudden kickout! Milli Banks being sent off of Aurora off the strong willed kick out as Milli Banks doesn’t allow the kick out to seep seeds of doubt into her head – if anything Milli Banks looks more confident than ever as she finally shows shades of taunting, wiping her hands together as she laughs – the crowd booing her animosity as Aurora Monroe rolls out of the ring next to SOSA Henderson before Milli Banks can apply anymore pressure, though Milli noticing this as she stands in the center of the ring; looking behind her then back at Aurora Monroe and SOSA as a devilish grin grows onto her face, Milli Banks running the ropes as she springs forward to where Aurora and SOSA are currently readvising their battle strategy – BEFORE SPRINGING OUT OF THE RING, MILLI BANKS TAKING ON THE AIR BEFORE HITTING A SUICIDE DIVE OVER THE TOP ROPE SENDING BOTH SOSA HENDERSON AND AURORA MONROE INTO THE BARRICADE, ALL THREE ELITIST CRASHING AND BURNING!!!
Jake Mercer: :yikes: And what a landing they took as Milli, SOSA, and Aurora are all laid out on the side of the ring, Milli staggering to the apron as she reached up to it to raise herself up with Aurora now using the barricade to get herself to a knee, Milli Banks wasting little time now as she staggers up; running the short distance to Aurora Monroe looking for that elevated single knee, her signature maneuver ‘No Fake Bills Here’- But its Aurora Monroe with the counter! Raising Milli Banks up with her hands, lifting her leg up like a human stepping stool as Milli Banks is sent high in the air and then BACK DOWN HITTING THE BARRICADE WITH HER HEAD IN A CRASH LANDING, AND IT’S A NIGHT NIGHT FOR THE BROOKLYN BANKROLLER, SHE’S OUT!
1!
2!
3!
Flannery McCoy: And these two need to be mindful of the referee’s count as he’s reached a count of three here tonight, though it’s Aurora Monroe who slides in and out of the ring to restart the count as she tunnels in on Milli Banks who is laid out on the outside, grabbing her up by her skull as she drags her over to the steel steps…
CRASH!
Flannery McCoy: SLAMMED DOWN EMPHATICALLY IS MILLI BANKS AS AURORA MONROE BRUTALLY SERVES HER INTO THE STEEL STEPS WHICH KNOCKS THEM COMPLETELY OUT OF PLACE SHOWCASING THE POWER PUT INTO THAT MANEUVER AS AURORA STANDS TRIUMPHANTLY OVER HER FOE! Milli Banks not moving an inch after that assault as Aurora is showing that she isn’t done yet, though soaking in the moment as she returns back the taunting with one of her own, stretching her arms out wide above Milli as the crowd cheered her on, before Aurora grabbed onto Milli Banks, lifting her into a powerbomb position before running towards the ring post, releasing Milli mid air… BEFORE POWER BOMBING HER INTO THE STEEL RING POST! And if Milli wasn’t feeling the offense before, she definitely is now as Milli grabs onto her back in pain at that assault laid on by Aurora!
1!
2!
3!
4!
5!
Stew-O: And it’s Aurora Monroe who is seemingly taking over as Milli Banks crawls away, Aurora Monroe taking the time to check on an irritated SOSA Henderson after being caught in the crossfire as pain is still very prominent on his face, SOSA Henderson conferring with his tag team partner and it doesn’t look good for Milli Banks here…
SOSA Henderson: (Off-Mic) Get it back for me.
Flannery McCoy: And whatever SOSA said it seems Aurora Monroe has nodded to as Milli Banks is trying to get to her feet, Aurora locking into her as she calls her up to her feet, Milli Banks slowly getting to a vertical position and it’s Aurora Monroe steam rolling forward, looking for a SPEAR into the barricade!!! BUT THE COUNTER – ITS MILLI BANKS WITH A HURRICANRANA ON AURORA MONROE INTO THE BARRICADE, BOTH COMPETITORS CRASHING THROUGH IT AND BREAKING THE BARRIER ITSELF, BOTH COMPETITORS ARE DOWN FROM THE IMPACT!!!
6!
7!
8!
Jake Mercer: Hold on – THESE TWO ARE ABOUT TO GET COUNTED OUT! GET UP, ONE OF YOU – GET UP!
9!
…
10!
Flannery McCoy: DOUBLE COUNT OUT!!! NEITHER WOMEN GOT TO THE RING IN TIME!!!
( Ding! Ding! Ding! )
(Neither of the twos music hit as the wreckage was shown as cameras zoomed in to show Aurora and Milli both laying around the time keepers area, broken barricades and fallen chairs galore as medical rushed over to help the two elitist, SOSA Henderson coming over to check on his tag team partner as the crowd chanted loudly in response.)
Stew-O: We said that neither woman was going down without a fight, and both of them ended up staying up till they couldn’t anymore resulting in neither winning with this double count out result!
Flannery McCoy: For the sake of my job, I’m not going to repeat these chants – But Holy… Guacamole indeed – that was incredible! What a sequence of events from these two Elitist and hopefully they are alright, but one things for sure they left it all right there even though I’m sure this is truly what neither of them expected.
( The scene started to fade with the final shot being on officials checking on the two with neither competitor getting up fast as Friday Night Dynasty fades to elsewhere from there.)
( We are in the midst of an amazing episode of Friday Night Dynasty. Following a plethora of high-octane bouts and tantalizing back-and-forth segments, cameras are situated backstage as this great night of festivities continues. Michael Belfort is on hand, the long-time interviewer is dressed in an expensive Italian suit. Joining him at this time, is one of the most dangerous women in the sport at this time, the reigning Specialists champion, Serenity Valdez! Serenity doesn’t have a match scheduled for tonight’s show. But, in two days’ time, she’ll put her Specialists Championship on the line against one-third of the Ice Aces, Ayu Megumi! Michael Belfort raises the microphone to his lips and begins to conduct an interview. )
Michael Belfort: Greetings, EAW universe! What a show it has been so far, we still have so much entertainment to come! Joining me in Paris, France tonight is a woman who has had quite a good start to her season, winning at events such as Poor Unfortunate Souls, as well as beating Alex Myers and Donovan Duke at the EAW draft show! Now Serenity, before we touch upon your upcoming championship defense against Ayu Megumi, I have to ask. Last week, we saw Team Showdown invade and put a beating on not only yourself, but on Joso and Limmy Monaghan, too! What’re your thoughts on that, how does Team Dynasty plan to respond?
Serenity Valdez: Michael, what happened last week was an act of war. But, we’re in a sport where things like that are commonplace. I’m not surprised that Showdown did what they did, it’s clear who the weakest team is in this upcoming match, so it’s not shocking that they would try and gain an advantage over us heading into Territorial Invasion. Aside from that, I really don’t have all too much to say. They should’ve hit us harder, Limmy, Joso and I are collectively fine. I’m not going to give you more than that, there’s a time and a place to address these kinds of things in detail. As much as I respect your profession? That place is not here.
Michael Belfort: Alright, alright. I understand, Serenity. It’s a huge match-up, tons at stake and I am sure you’ll speak on it another time, if not later tonight. Well, if you’re not willing to address that match here-and-now, let’s move onto Voltage. This Sunday, you’re slated to put your Specialists Championship on the line in the main event. The woman you’re going up against, I’d argue is perceived as the underdog ahead of your bout. How’re you feeling about facing Ayu Megumi and do you believe the media labeling you as the clear favorite is a fair thing to do?
Serenity Valdez: Not at all, matter of fact? Calling me the clear favorite isn’t doing who I am justice whatsoever. I am “The Virtuosa” Michael, that’s a nickname, a title of respect that I’ve earned through beating some of the best this sport has to offer. Look, Ayu Megumi is fine. But I don’t consider her a challenge and truth be told, I don’t think she’s at a level where she’ll provide much of a threat to me and my championship reign. This is a joke, Michael. I have beaten women like Diamond Dixon and Ximena Velazquez. I am one of the fastest rising women this sport has ever seen, in a time where Madison Kaline, Astraea Jordan returned and the #EAW15 movement was in full swing; I showed up and I showed out. I look at some of the names in this promotion who I could be facing, who could provide me a challenge and give me the opportunity to expand my legacy and continue my championship reign. I hate to sound disrespectful, Michael, but Ayu Megumi is a blip in the water and I wouldn’t be surprised if I embarrassed her entirely in the Voltage main event this Sunday.
Serenity Valdez: For me, Ayu Megumi never deserved a shot to begin with. I don’t think the names she’s bested to get here are all that impressive. She’s doing what she’s supposed to do, scratching-and-clawing past rookies and rejects. But I get it, holding this championship means sometimes you have to lower your level to women like Ayu Megumi, do charity work for other brands who cannot give you a meaningful fight. Let’s make something concrete clear here. I am a main event talent, I am a draw and I am one of the most impressive champions to ever grace the halls of this company. While I was joining Dynasty’s Anarchy in the Arena team? Ayu Megumi was getting passed around like a basketball by Soul Food Sunday. While I was winning this Specialists Championship? She was flopping against Kirk Redwood and Solomon Stane. There’s different lanes to this sport, I am cruising in sixth gear while she’s struggling to get out of second. I am going to beat her ass this weekend, I don’t feel bad for saying so, either.
Serenity Valdez: I am revolutionizing this sport, inspiring latina women and girls who look at their televisions and see a woman like me thriving. This Specialists Championship is going nowhere and on Voltage it’s my job to make that point loudly, concisely and dominantly.
Michael Belfort: Strong words, Serenity, I cannot say I’m surprised. Now I know you’ve spoken to me about this and filled in the audience on what’s going to happen. But do you have anything you personally want to say to Ayu ahead of this match-up? Now is your cha—
( Serenity is like a moth to a flame, she takes the stem of Michael’s microphone and rips it from his grip, seizing the chance to address Ayu, her opponent this Sunday. After insisting that he gets gone from the camera’s focus, she gestures for the production crew to zoom in. Serenity is situated inches from the frame, her face taking up most of the shot. Serenity scoffs, shaking head from one side to the other. Raising the microphone, she speaks directly to Ayu. )
Serenity Valdez: Ayu, I want you to listen carefully. Let’s face facts here, you’re not on my level and you’re never going to be anything close to it. You’ve had so much time to move up from the position you’re currently in, a touch above an enhancement talent. You’re willingly putting yourself into a dog fight, one you have zero chance of winning. If you were smart? If you weren’t constantly going at it with the self-victimization and the self-pity, you’d recognise that the reality of your situation is you just suck. You’d back up, you’d let ARIA, or Usagi, or one of the women you beat to get here shuffle in instead and take a pin or tap out to greatness.
Serenity Valdez: You’re going to enter that ring on Sunday thinking you have a shot. Maybe you’ll get a few good punches in. But Serenity Valdez is inevitable. You’ll throw it all and the kitchen sink at me and I’ll laugh it off. This false hope journey you and the Ice Aces lead yourselves on is sad, the sooner you admit you’re not nearly as good as you believe yourself to be the better off you’ll be. For me? This is another defense, another night where Serenity Valdez headlines the card and wins decisively. Then? Maybe I’ll finally get some respect around here and management will stop wasting my time putting someone like me against someone like you.
( With vicious words stated down the barrel of the camera, Serenity seems pretty pleased with herself. She smirks, lets out a breathy chuckle and turns on her heel, tossing the microphone in Michael Belfort’s direction. He’s able to catch it, looking back at Serenity as she saunters out of the shot. From there? Michael addresses the interview, wrapping it up and sending us from backstage back to ringside. Friday Night Dynasty continues momentarily! )
(Friday Night Dynasty comes back to the ring where Stephie Love is seen ready to announce the next match!)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Back To Life” By Soul II Soul plays as Visual Prophet steps out with Dr. Angelo D’Angelo by his side. Viz looks confident as he strides down the ramp, all while bopping and vibing to his entrance music playing. Meanwhile. Dr. Angelo D’Angelo offers a look of disgust towards the predominantly-white French fans in attendance.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Detriot, Michigan, and representing Soul Food Sunday… weighing in tonight at 265 pounds… he is “The Founder of the Visual Prophet Leadership Academy”, VISUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL PROOOOOOOPHEEEEEEEEEEET!
Stew-O: And here comes Visual Prophet along with Dr. Angelo D’Angelo, and we can hear some boos actually coming from some of the fans in attendance.
Jake Mercer: Maybe it’s because he and Dr. D’Angelo said the truth about the art here.
Flannery McCoy: Or, maybe it’s because Visual Prophet along with Soul Food Sunday are growing a bit of a negative reputation around them due to their actions the past few weeks?
Jake Mercer: Oh, gosh. Do you have something against a group of talented black individuals standing up for themselves?
Flannery McCoy: What? Of course not! Don’t be ridiculous! Their mission is a good one, especially given that all members were for a while the only successful black elitists in their respective divisions a few years back. The issue isn’t about what they’re fighting for, but how they choose to go about fighting for it. They have used underhanded tactics and distracted–
Jake Mercer: Yeah, yeah, yeah, blah, blah, blah. Check your privilege out the door please, Flannery! They’re only trying to do right by their people. Who cares about what methods they use? Besides, all three members have more accolades put together than half of the roster combined! If anything, it’s quite clear to see the real reason why people are upset with them!
Flannery McCoy: Oh, dear…
(Visual Prophet is inside the ring, warming up as he waits for his opponent. “A Stranger I Remain” by Free Dominguez plays and Amir Yusuf comes out. A focused look graces his face as he makes his way to the ring.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent, residing in Chicago, Illinois… weighing in tonight at 182 pounds… he is “The Irreplaceable”, AMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRR YUUUUUUUUUUSUUUUUUUUUUUF!
Stew-O: It’s safe to say that ever since the start of this season, Amir Yusuf has been putting in the work to make sure that his name means something here again. He’s had plenty of strong showings the past few weeks, and in just a matter of two weeks, he will be challenging Andre Walker for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Jake Mercer: He came into this season with a chip on his shoulder and he’s been a role. He’s earned his spot at Territorial Invasion, and as sweet as an opportunity like that is already, it will likely be even sweeter if he’s able to beat Visual Prophet tonight and prove without a shadow of a doubt that he can hang with the upper echelon of the competition here on Dynasty.
Flannery McCoy: He was able to beat a Hall of Famer in Madison Kline. That win in itself speaks volumes, but a win tonight can undoubtedly make sure that everyone has no choice but to listen to him.
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: Here we go, and Visual Prophet goes for a lock-up that Amir ducks under! He’s running for the ropes and comes back where VISUAL PROPHET HITS HIM WITH A CLOTHESLINE– NO! He ducks underneath that as well! Amir hits the other set of ropes and comes back only to slide in between Viz’s legs. He pops up, Viz turns, and Prophet is hit with a dropkick! He doesn’t go down, but he stumbles onto the ropes!
Jake Mercer: It’s a smart, sound strategy. Visual Prophet is a big guy, so trying to match him in the strength department is an instant death wish! Amir knows he has to stay one step ahead of him, and he’s doing just that! Viz shakes off the cobwebs and tries to get back at him, but Amir lands a kick to the side of his leg! And another one! A series of kicks are being sent Viz’s way. It seems like he’s trying to soften him up here! Viz is wincing, but he’s still standing! Another kick is sent, but Amir’s leg gets caught! Viz has him! Could we see the dragon screw here in retaliation–
Flannery McCoy: Oh! Amir raises his other feet and connects with the enzuiguri. Prophet is down to one knee! Amir gets up and rebounds off the ropes! And he delivers a dropkick to the kneeling Visual Prophet! Viz is down and Amir goes for the quick cover!
ONEEEEEE–
Stew-O: Viz kicks out! Amir doesn’t seem fazed, though. It’s going to take a lot to keep an elitist like Visual Prophet down, but at least thus far he’s using his speed to his advantage. Prophet gets up to his feet as Amir rebounds from the ropes. He leaps into the air for a hurricanrana– But Viz doesn’t go down! He halts Amir’s momentum! He hangs on and brings Amir up before slamming him right on down with the powerbomb! He holds on for the pin attempt!
ONNNNEEEEEEEEEE–
Stew-O: And Amir is able to pop that shoulder up! These two are trying to finish each other off as quickly as possible in the early goings of this match. Amir rolls away from Viz, clutching his back. However, Viz isn’t about to let up. He goes straight for Amir and lifts him right on up before sending him down to the mat again with a scoop slam! He hits the ropes… and he just DROPS his entire body weight onto Amir with a splash!
Jake Mercer: A move like that is devastating in its own right despite its simplicity, but having a guy that easily has over an eighty-pound size advantage slam his entire body weight onto you like that is awful. Viz has a good bit of athleticism in his own right, too. His speed and power are coming into play here. With Amir down, Viz mounts him. He starts laying into him with some punches to the side of the head! Now, he gets up and deadlifts Amir into a verticle suplex position! He goes straight to the middle of the ring and holds him there! All of that blood is rushing down, and it doesn’t help that Viz was hitting him! Amir definitely has to feel woozy.
Flannery McCoy: No doubt about that. I think we’ve reached the count of ten…. and Viz goes right on ahead and SLAMS Amir down to the canvas with the suplex! Viz rolls on through for another pin attempt!
ONNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE–
TW–
Stew-O: Amir manages to kick out! These two aren’t sparing any expenses tonight!
Flannery McCoy: No kidding and only a few minutes have passed, yet the action is fast and furious! Viz shrugs, though. He isn’t sweating that kick-out!
Jake Mercer: Viz isn’t the kind of guy that’s going to freak out. After all, this is a former two-time world champion we are talking about here. He remains calm, cool, and collected as he gets Amir into the corner and lays some stomps into the midsection. He backs up and DRIVES his shoulder into the gut of Amir Yusuf, almost lifting him off of his feet! He just keeps going at it until Amir is on the verge of crumbling down. Viz backs up and gets a running start, and HE COMES IN WITH A SPLASH–
Stew-O: BUT AMIR DUCKS DOWN AT THE LAST POSSIBLE SECOND AND GETS OUT OF HARMS WAY! Viz is in the corner and turns around, but Amir now is charging right at him and hits him with a knee strike! Amir rolls forward, gaining some distance, and runs back again– BUT VIZ PUSHES HIMSELF OUT OF THE CORNER AND SENDS YUSUF DOWN WITH A CLOTHESLINE! That had a lot of force behind it.
Jake Mercer: Viz is like a freight train. He just steamrolled right through him!
Flannery McCoy: And he isn’t done! Amir gets to a sitting position only to be met with Viz sending him back down with a running knee of his own! He’s got the pin!
ONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE–
TWOOO–
Stew-O: Amir kicks out. Viz grabs him by the hair and gets him up to his feet. Arms are trapped in an underhook position and Viz lifts him up and over, taking him down with another suplex variant! Viz is on the attack and traps Amir’s arms again from behind, this time getting a hold locked in! He’s really trying to wear down Amir! Dr. D’Angelo is at ringside berating Amir as he tries to use his feet to get him close to the ropes…
Jake Mercer: We all know that Amir has an insane amount of stamina. The more Viz can work him out and wear him down, the more likely it is that this match will end up in his favor. You definitely want to try and break down a competitor like Amir that can seemingly go at a hundred miles per hour nonstop!
Flannery McCoy: Viz knows this, and Amir certainly does because he’s trying to get to those ropes! The longer he remains in that hold, the worse off he’ll be! He definitely has to get there soon, or he won’t have much strength in him left! He’s stretching his leg out, and… the tip of his foot is almost there! He’s going to get there! He brushes the bottom rope! He’s about to put his foot on it–
Stew-O: But Viz sees it! Just as Amir was about to force a moment of reprieve for himself, he’s dragged right back to the center of the ring! Viz still has his arms trapped! He actually forces Amir up to his feet! He hoists him up into the air and SLAMS HIM DOWN EMPHATICALLY ONTO THE MAT! MY GOD!
Jake Mercer: What a move! And there’s Viz giving his muscles a quick flex while Dr. D’Angelo cheers him on. Another cover here from Viz!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOO–
Flannery McCoy: But Amir is able to kick out yet again! Despite the nasty-looking slam, he’s still in this one. Viz is going to have to dig deep into his arsenal, because just like him, Amir isn’t going to be put down easily! He knows what’s at stake here! He wants that momentum on his side heading into his match against Andre! And what better way to get it than by beating a former world champion in Visual Prophet?
Stew-O: Viz delivers a harsh stomp onto the back of Amir as Yusuf was trying to crawl away. Viz gets him up and whips him into the corner. He comes running, and he smashes Amir with a clothesline! Amir drops down and Viz comes charging again! He goes for the dropkick, and it connects!
Jake Mercer: Viz is pretty much telling Amir that anything he can do, he can do better! He was practically gloating to Amir that he was just as fast if not faster than him during their little war of words this past week, and one thing about Viz is that he’s going to do everything he can to prove himself right. Viz goes to the corner and starts to scale up the turnbuckle! He’s up on top now! He has his eyes set on Amir, and he’s practically perched up there just ready for him to move!
Flannery McCoy: Amir comes to, slowly getting to his feet. He’s favoring his back a bit, but he’s got to try and focus here! Block out the pain! There’s a focused Visual Prophet up on top of the turnbuckle, and this is not going to bode well for him! The big man leaps and he HITS HIM WITH A DIVING CLOTHESLINE! WAIT, NO! AMIR MEETS VIZ WITH A SUPERKICK FROM OUT OF NOWHERE! THAT IMPACT WITH HIS FOOT MAKING ITS MARK ON VIZ’S HEAD CAN BE HEARD THROUGHOUT THE ARENA! AMIR DODGED A BULLET!
Jake Mercer: Yeah, he was able to snuff out Viz at the right time, but he’s still hurting a bit from the earlier offense he had to endure. Amir nods, thinking that this is his moment to capitalize! Now HE’S climbing to the top! A place that Amir is all too familiar with. He’s lining up his sights on Viz as he rolls to the center… and he leaps! Amir comes down and HITS HIM WITH THE FROG SPLASH! He gets the pin!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOO–
Stew-O: VIZ KICKS OUT! Just when we thought he was out cold from that unsuspecting kick, he manages to kick out at two! Amir seems to sigh, but he’s up on his feet again! He knows now’s not the time to get upset! He has to keep going! He goes to the ropes and leaps off of them for a picture-perfect springboard moonsault! He hits flush! Another cover from Amir!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO–
Stew-O: Kick out by Viz!
Jake Mercer: That was a stunning move, but Amir favors his back a little. He may need to be careful. I understand he wants to pull out all of the stops to win, but he also has to be smart! He doesn’t want to do anything that can exasperate certain nagging pains and worsen them.
Flannery McCoy: You’re right, but if there’s anything we’ve learned from Amir with this season, is that he wants to go all out. He wants to make sure that his path to potentially reclaim gold is one that goes without question!
Stew-O: Amir takes a breath and goes to bring Visual Prophet up to his feet. A stiff forearm shot is sent and delivered to Viz’s face! A few more forearm smashes and Amir goes low with a kick to the gut! Viz hunches over, and Amir gets a running start for a tilt-a-whirl DDT! NO! Viz latches those big arms around Amir’s waist and picks him up! SPINEBUSTER! Amir is down and Viz gets a chance to breathe a little! He gets Amir up, and whips him into the corner. He fires off with some forearm shots of his own! Now, he has Amir perched on the top turnbuckle! He’s scaling it! What does he plan on doing?!
Flannery McCoy: Oh no, this doesn’t look good. He might be going for a belly-to-belly suplex from that position! He’s got his arms around Amir, but Yusuf lays a punch into him! And another one! Then another! Amir is fighting back! Viz loses his grip on him and Amir tops it all off with a sharp elbow to Viz’s forehead! Prophet is hunched over! Amir flips on over, looking for a sunset powerbomb! He’s struggling, but… but… HE GETS IT! HE SENDS VIZ DOWN ONTO HIS BACK WITH THE POWERBOMB!!! IT TOOK A LOT, BUT HE DID IT! MY GOD, DID YOU SEE HOW THE CANVAS SHOOK FROM THE IMPACT?!
Jake Mercer: And Amir has a smirk on his face! He knows what he’s done! Despite the incredible amount of effort it took for him to bring Viz down with that move, he’s scaling up to the top turnbuckle again! Could we see the shooting star press?!
Stew-O: Amir takes off… and HE HITS IT! THE SHOOTING STAR PRESS LANDS, AND DR. D’ANGELO OUTSIDE THE RING IS BESIDE HIMSELF! HE’S YELLING AT VIZ TO KICK OUT AS AMIR GETS THE COVER!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
TH–
KICK OUT! KICK OUT! VISUAL PROPHET KICKS OUT! AND THIS TIME, AMIR IS LOOKING ANNOYED!
Jake Mercer: Yeah, he’s gnawing at his bottom lip, but he’s gotta get that anger in check! He’s in the driver’s seat now! He can’t let his emotions get the better of him at this stage!
Stew-O: Amir Yusuf now gets to his feet and stomps down on Viz. He gets Viz to his knees and strikes him with a few punches! He’s laying it all into Viz, battering him with those series of strikes! A kick seals the deal and Amir brings Viz up. He goes behind him, and has him set for When Reality Hits!
Flannery McCoy: Wait, Dr. D’Angelo is up on the apron! He’s jaw-jacking straight at Amir! The referee admonishes him, but Amir looks dead at him and let’s Viz go! He’s up at Angelo’s face, and that makes him get off! Talk about a coward!
Jake Mercer: Amir goes back to Viz, and he goes to set him up again — BUT VIZ NAILS HIM IN THE FACE WITH THE KISS TO THE HEAD! AMIR IS OUT! DR. D’ANGELO GOT AMIR’S ATTENTION LONG ENOUGH FOR VIZ TO CAPITALIZE! HE’S GOT THIS ONE–
Stew-O: Wait a minute, what’s going on?! Is that…?!
Jake Mercer: SOSA HENDERSON JUST RAN OUT! HE’S HERE! AND HE MAKES A BEELINE STRAIGHT FOR DR. ANGELO D’ANGELO! HE CLOCKS HIM WITH A PUNCH AND ANGELO GOES DOWN! WHAT ON EARTH???
Flannery McCoy: Oh my god! Now Viz loses his sight on Amir as he sees what the commotion is all about! I think he realizes that SOSA is here and he isn’t happy at all!
Visual Prophet: (off-mic) What did you do to him? Why are you out here?!
SOSA Henderson: (off-mic) Giving you a taste of your own medicine, dummy!
Stew-O: Visual Prophet’s eyes widen! He can’t believe it! The referee tells SOSA he needs to get out of here, and he backs away, grinning! Viz watches on and AMIR IS RIGHT BEHIND HIM! HE GRABS VIZ! WHEN REALITY HITS! HE GETS THE ROLLING CUTTER! AMIR YUSUF DRAGS VISUAL PROPHET TO THE CENTER OF THE RING AND PINS HIM!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(“A Stranger I Remain” by Free Dominguez plays as Amir Yusuf gets to his feet. His arm is raised and he smiles.)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner, AMIIIIIIIIIIIRRR YUUUUSUUUUUUUUUF!
Stew-O: An incredible win by Amir Yusuf, who continues to have an overall strong season! He beat Visual Prophet!
Jake Mercer: Y-yeah, but SOSA Henderson came out and decked Dr. Angelo D’Angelo for no good reason! He distracted Viz! Yet here he was earlier chastising Soul Food Sunday for relying on underhanded tactics to win?! He’s a fraud!
Flannery McCoy: He fought fire with fire, it seems. Regardless of how people may view his actions, SOSA Henderson was able to dish out that bit of medicine back to Visual Prophet. As such, Amir was able to hit his finisher and pick up a win! However, this was an intense contest from the get-go, and one where Amir Yusuf truly showed his resolve.
(Amir exits and heads up the ramp with his arms raised in victory. Back in the ring, Dr. D’Angelo Angelo manages to get back in, clutching his jaw. Visual Prophet slowly gets to a sitting position. Both he and Angelo look enraged at the realization of what transpired.)
(Friday Night Dynasty goes to the backstage area of the AccorHotels Arena where the camera goes over to show Michael Belfort standing by in front of an EAW backdrop. He has a smile on his face and a microphone in his hand which after a moment he brings up to his mouth and begins to speak toward the EAW Universe.)
Michael Belfort: The build to Territorial Invasion is building up and I for one cannot be more excited for what Friday Night Dynasty has in store for us later in the night. But right now, let’s focus on one of the more highly-anticipated matches of the tri-branded Free-Per-View, which consists of two of EAW’s best female Elitists duking it out in a match that a lot of people have been waiting a long time for. Right now, I have one of them with me here tonight. Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in giving a warm welcome… to Serena Bennett!
(The Paris crowd gives a lukewarm reaction as the camera pans to the right to show Serena Bennett strut into the scene. She has a casual attire on with jewelry all over, clearly not here to compete here tonight but rather to accompany Astraea Jordan to the ring as she faces off against Andre Walker tonight. Astraea isn’t with her though, presumably off preparing for her match, neither is The Visual Prophet who is the second best option, who is coming off of a match against Amir Yusuf earlier. Right now, it’s Serena all by herself as she stands confidently with a grin on her face while Michael continues to speak from there.)
Michael Belfort: Serena, as you know, last week was a very eventful one for not just you, but Soul Food Sunday as a whole. During your promo in the ring, you were interrupted by your Territorial Invasion opponent Kassidy Heart, who you had a back and forth with before Bulletstorm hit the stage as well. And while it looks like the three of them were ready to brawl with the three of you, it was all a ploy to allow The Ice Aces to slip through the cracks and attack, making a statement heading into Rise of Resistance. I just wanted to get your thoughts on that, anything at all?
(Serena rolls her eyes and yawns in response to the question. She looks close to shrugging it off and moving forward, but instead decides against it and begins to speak.)
Serena Bennett: It’s baffling how you’d think I’d care about that in the first place, so much so to waste my time talking about it. But I’ll give you my piece anyway. You think me, Viz, and Astraea would be pissed off about a little sneak attack by the Ice Aces of all people? No, never in a million years. They were just trying to make themselves look formidable heading into our tag match at the Woatage Supershow, and you know how that turned out. I’m not saying it didn’t work out, no matter how you look at it the Ice Aces get a boost from being tag division fodder just by being in the ring with us, but that Kassidy Heart plan sure worked out in her favor. Kassidy really thinks she’s doing something running her mouth tryna say this and that. She ain’t tough, and if she really thinks she’s getting in my head or whatever goal she has at this point, then I don’t know what to tell her. It’s punching below the belt even entertaining anything she says now knowing how hard she’s fallen off recently. Hall of Famer yet still can’t be half the woman I am and I’m not the one with the ring. Talking all this that I doubt she can back up, always going back to saying that she’s the best wrestler in the world, which is a reach in itself when you got Serena Bennett in the conversation.
Serena Bennett: Nobody, not even her, has covered more ground and accomplished as much as I have in the time it’s been like I have. Despite that people like to bring up the fact that I took my ball and went home, like I care, and say that it defines my character as a whole to be a whiny stuck-up reject who couldn’t handle the heat. Hun, no, you can stop tryna bring up that narrative because the fact of the matter is I exceed Elite Answers Wrestling. I’m beyond needing it, and seeing how Tyrone Montgomery scrambled over to me to spice things up, I’m more leaning toward the fact that this company needs me. They need my talent, they need my star power, they need my popularity, and when you give me the right incentive I give that tenfold. I don’t see them asking Kassidy for that, better yet, I don’t see Kassidy giving anywhere close to that. Settles for being second best to me and thinks she can be on cruise control, using her husband as a crutch when she doesn’t get her way. Getting mad at me and everyone around her, but sis, have you ever considered the fact that you might be the problem out of all of them?
Serena Bennett: Facing Kassidy Heart at this stage of her career is tragic like there is literally zero fulfillment I get out of beating her. I’m more enticed by the idea of shutting her up and ending her cute little power trip so we can move on and actually do something important with our lives. I’m walking all over her and contrary to believe I ain’t need no Viz or Astraea to help me do it. Lock me in that steel cage with her and point to her aggression and violence, but no amount of that will save her from the beating I got for her. She should be scared, but knowing her, she’ll waltz in like the idiot she is and do it to herself. Maybe then she’ll realize this whole wrestling thing just isn’t for her anymore, and we can finally get rid of the true crybaby between the two of us once and for all. Good riddance.
Michael Belfort: Well we know you have a lot on your mind right now concerning Kassidy, but once you’re through with that and Territorial Invasion as a whole it seems Soul Food Sunday’s calendar is free. Do you have any idea what’s next for not just you three, but yourself?
(Serena thinks for a moment before the smirk on her face continues to grow, looking over to Michael before beginning to respond.)
Serena Bennett: Who’s to say, after I beat Kassidy I got a whole lot of options for where to go. But all I can say for certain is that you don’t want to miss it, because I’m aiming right for the top and making sure I continue to build my already lasting legacy and remind everyone exactly who the hell I am. Anyone else that wants to try and come around to shut me up is welcome to do so, but let Kassidy and anyone else I face from here on out serve as an example as to why that’s against your better judgment. I’ve got a whole lot in the tank and I’m ready to go the mile, whatever happens from here just know it’s going to be nothing but greatness.
(Michael smiles in response to what Serena says before looking to speak again, presumably feeling satisfied with the questions asked and looking to close the interview.)
Stew-O: WAIT! FROM BEHIND! SOMEONE JUST ATTACKED SERENA!
Flannery McCoy: WE KNOW WHO THAT IS! IT’S KASSIDY HEART! SERENA TURNS ONTO HER BACK AND TRIES TO RESPOND BUT KASSIDY HAS ALREADY MOUNTED ON TOP OF HER AND NOW BEGINS TO JAB ELBOW AFTER ELBOW SHOT TOWARD HER FACE! SERENA IS TRYING TO DEFEND HERSELF BUT THE LONGEST REIGNING ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION CAUGHT HER WHILE SHE WAS VULNERABLE! AND NOW SHE’S LEFT TRYING TO WITHSTAND THIS VICIOUS ATTACK!
Jake Mercer: KASSIDY RELENTS AND SNATCHES SERENA BY THE HEAD, BRINGING HER UP BEFORE THROWING HER AT MACH FIVE INTO A NEARBY PRODUCTION CRATE SENDING HER DOWN TO THE MAT! KASSIDY ISN’T DONE THOUGH AS SHE SCOOPS HER RIGHT BACK UP BEFORE TURNING AND RAMMING HER INTO THE WALL! SERENA CRUMBLES DOWN TO THE GROUND WHILE KASSIDY IS LEFT ON HER FEET ABSOLUTELY FUMING!
(Kassidy crouches down to look toward Serena, snatching her by the hair and taking the chance while she’s weakened to respond to what she had to say during her interview.)
Kassidy Heart: The last thing I want to hear is some loud-mouthed cunt trying to dictate how my career is going when she can’t even dream of what I’ve done even at my worst. No matter how much you get pampered and praised here on Dynasty, you will forever be defined as the person that couldn’t hack it and decided to be the sensitive ingrate that we all know you to be and leave, there’s no going around it. And even if there really is something different about Serena Bennett this time around, you’re sure gunna wish you quit once they lock me in with you. After I handle business tomorrow, you will have my full undivided attention and it won’t bode well for you.
(Kassidy takes Serena’s head and slams it against the wall before standing up and storming away, leaving Serena clutching at her head. She looks over in the general direction of where Kass went and looks to head on pursuit, but before she can, Security quickly comes in to stop her while at the same time checking on her after the attack. Serena ultimately skids to a halt, shaking her head before shoving Security out of the way and going the opposite direction, seemingly headed to join Astraea before her match against Andre. Serena taking her leave is the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty transitions to elsewhere.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns to show Stephie Love standing at the center of the ring with a smile on her face and a microphone in her hand ready to announce the next match!)
Stephie Love: The following singles match is a contest scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘Leaving Caladan’ by Hans Zimmer is heard blasting through the speakers of the arena while the camera goes to Andre Walker who is seen making his way out to the stage. He takes his World Heavyweight Championship into his hand and raises it high into the air while pyro shoots out behind him. He then rests it back onto his shoulders before making his way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first… from The Isle of Samoa… weighing in at 245 pounds… he is the EAW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION… ‘THE KAISER’… ANDRE WALKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(‘Party Goin’ Dumb’ by Rico Nasty is then heard playing up with the camera going over to Astraea Jordan making her way out to the backstage area. Serena Bennett is seen closely following behind her, with a look of dissatisfaction on her face after what happened earlier with her and Kassidy Heart backstage. The two of them look toward one another while Serena gives her partner a pep talk, Astraea responding with a nod and a determined look on her face as she makes her way toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent… accompanied by Serena Bennett… from Chicago, Illinois… weighing in at 165 pounds… ‘THE BLACKPRINT’… ASTRAEA JORDAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And here we go ladies and gentlemen, this highly anticipated match between two of Friday Night Dynasty’s best is officially underway! We have the World Heavyweight Champion Andre Walker going up against ⅓ of Soul Food Sunday in the form of Astraea Jordan. The two of them begin to make their way around the ring, and it seems that they’re going to start this one with the traditional collar-and-elbow tie-up. They lock up- OH! Astraea clocks Andre with a forearm across his face! She isn’t done though as she hits him with another! Another! Another! Andre is backed against the ropes while Astraea snatches him by the arm and sends him across the ring with an Irish whip… BEFORE STEPPING TOWARD THE CENTER OF THE RING AND NAILING ANDRE WITH A BIG BOOT!
Flannery McCoy: We all know Astraea’s teammate The Visual Prophet fought a losing battle to Andre at Pain For Pride, and if there’s one thing that would give their team a huge boost it’s to reprimand said loss with a win here tonight. Andre sits up, holding his jaw and seeming to be impressed with the veracity of his opponent to start this match. Astraea is begging him to get back up to his feet while keeping her distance in the process, BEFORE RUNNING FORWARD AND REELING BACK HER ARM BEFORE GOING FOR A LARIAT TO THE HEAD- But Andre ducks under that! He keeps the ball rolling, bolting toward the ropes… BEFORE AIMING RIGHT FOR ASTRAEA AND LEAPING INTO THE AIR FOR A JUMPING CLOTHESLINE-
Jake Mercer: But Astraea ducks under that as well! Andre skids down to a knee while Astraea gets up and turns herself around, GRABBING HIM AROUND HIS WAIST AND LIFTING HIM OFF THE GROUND FOR A BACK SUPLEX- But Andre just doesn’t let her! He manages to drop his weight to hold himself in place, before bringing his arm forward and connecting with a sharp back elbow to her face! Astraea is taken aback by the counter while this gives Andre enough time to turn around to face her, GOING UNDER AND WRAPPING HIS ARMS AROUND HER WAIST BEFORE LIFTING HER UP AND RAMMING HER SPINE-FIRST INTO THE TURNBUCKLE PADDING!
Stew-O: Astraea is groaning in pain, and Andre takes advantage of that by pummeling her with gruesome punches toward the abdomen and head area! Astraea tries to fight back, but Andre has already transitioned quickly snatching her by the hair, BEFORE LAUNCHING HER ACROSS THE RING WITH A BIEL THROW! Astraea takes a hard tumble and right now it’s been all Andre and I’m sure he’d love for that to be the case for the rest of the match going forward. He begins to approach her again, grabbing her by the head and bringing her in, BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO CONNECT WITH A SUPLEX TO TAKE HER DOWN-
Flannery McCoy: But Astraea manages to flip over Andre and land behind him! Andre quickly turns around, but he’s nailed by a quick forearm! Astraea manages to take him aback but Andre begins to engage once more, only for Astraea to step forward and connect with a sharp knee strike which sends him down to a seated position! Astraea then turns around and runs toward the ropes… LEAPING INTO THE AIR AND GOING FOR A METEORA TO THE HEAD OF ANDRE WHICH CONNECTS! The World Heavyweight Champion is sickenly dropped to the mat while Astraea falls backward and pins his shoulders to the mat for an early count!
OOONNNEEE!!!
Jake Mercer: But Andre kicks out before the two count! We know the type of competitor that Andre Walker is and how long he can go in matches like these, if Astraea wants to win she’s going to have to do a whole lot more and pray that it connects. She begins to get back up to her feet, knowing that she has the offense in her favor right now and is looking to keep it. Andre is still down on the mat while Astraea turns around and once again runs the ropes… BEFORE LOOKING TO EXECUTE A RUNNING HANDSPRING MOONSAULT TO A GROUNDED ANDRE- WAIT! Andre manages to find the strength inside him to get back up to his feet and catch Astraea in mid-air! With brute strength, he brings her up onto her shoulders, BEFORE RUNNING FORWARD AND LOOKING TO CONNECT WITH A POWERSLAM!
Stew-O: But before that happens Astraea once again manages to slip out of Andre’s grip and land behind him! Astraea then steps backward to get a running start- BUT ANDRE SEES IT COMING AND TURNS AROUND TO INSTANTLY CLOTHESLINE HER OVER THE TOP ROPE! Astraea is about to take a hard tumble to the outside, but before she does she manages to grab onto the top rope and hold on for dear life! She uses that as leverage to pull herself up onto the apron and keep herself composed. Andre isn’t going to let her go any further though, stepping forward and looking to connect with a punch to the face in hopes of stunning her momentarily- But before that can happen Astraea manages to block the punch before sending one back! Andre is sent backward toward the center of the ring and that leaves him in a prime position for Astraea to capitalize right now… AS SHE SPRINGS OVER THE ROPES AND LOOKS TO TAKE ANDRE DOWN WITH A BUCKSHOT LARIAT!
Flannery McCoy: BUT BEFORE THAT CAN CONNECT ANDRE MANAGES TO SCOOP ASTRAEA OFF THE GROUND AND USES THE MOMENTUM TO DROP HER WITH A BRUTAL SAMOAN DROP! Andre was quick on his feet for his own good, barely managing to save himself before Astraea could put him in more trouble. This is what both of these competitors need to expect, some fast-paced hard-hitting action and whether or not that ends up getting the better of them remains to be seen. Andre makes his way over and grabs Astraea into a front facelock before heaving her up to her feet, AND LIFTING HER UP INTO A SECOND ATTEMPT AT A SUPLEX WHICH CONNECTS!
Jake Mercer: Andre has once again shifted the tides, but seeing how back and forth this match has been so far it’s only a question of how long it’s going to be before Astraea turns it around herself. But that’s something that remains to be seen with Andre looming over Astraea and bringing her up once again, but she tries to fight back with groggy punches toward the face of ‘The Kaiser’! That doesn’t seem to affect him much though as he shrugs off the punches before grabbing Astraea by the waist and slamming her back into the corner! Andre from there takes her by the arm and sends her toward the opposite pair with an Irish whip, turning around and running forward… BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A LEAPING CLOTHESLINE TO THE HEAD! Andre isn’t done though as he keeps himself positioned, BEFORE BEGINNING TO RAM HIS ARM REPEATEDLY AGAINST THE HEAD OF ASTRAEA WITH VICIOUS CLOTHESLINES!
Stew-O: Astraea is getting pummeled right now but luckily for her, Andre stops. But it looks like he isn’t through either as he grabs her by the head and throws her down toward the center of the ring, turning around while backed up in the corner and left to patiently wait for Astraea to get back up to her feet. Astraea begins to gain her bearings, but I don’t think she sees what awaits her once she gets up… ANDRE LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND GOES FOR ‘KAISER’S TOUCH’! SUPERMAN PUNCH TO THE SKULL OF ASTRAEA TO TAKE HER BACK DOWN!
Flannery McCoy: BUT ASTRAEA SEES IT COMING AND MANAGES TO DUCK UNDER IT! Andre stumbles forward definitely not expecting that, BEFORE ASTRAEA SWOOPS IN FROM BEHIND AND USES PURE STRENGTH TO LIFT ANDRE UP OFF THE GROUND AND INTO A BEAUTIFUL GERMAN SUPLEX! ASTRAEA BRIDGES IT INTO A PIN- But Andre immediately pushes away as the two of them get back up to their feet! Andre swings a punch, but Astraea connects with a kick toward the abdomen to stop him! Astraea then takes his arm and sends him toward the ropes… BEFORE GRABBING ANDRE AND LOOKING TO LIFT HIM UP INTO A SPINEBUSTER THIS TIME!
Jake Mercer: BUT ANDRE SENDS AN ELBOW DOWNWARD WHICH PREVENTS IT! Astraea is forced to bring him back down to the mat, BEFORE ANDRE LIFTS HER UP OFF THE GROUND AND CONNECTS WITH AN ATOMIC DROP! Astraea stumbles back but quickly runs forward, ONLY FOR ANDRE TO POP HER UP INTO THE AIR AND CONNECT WITH A BACK BODY DROP TO FOLLOW UP! Astraea crashes down to the mat and it’s clear that she is trying her best to get out of the situation she’s in but it’s not that easy considering the competition that she’s up against. Andre begins to approach once more and grab Astraea by the head, beginning to tug her back up to her feet in hopes of inflicting some more damage.
Stew-O: But that’s something that Astraea is seeking to prevent as she begins to kick Andre in the kneecap in hopes of forcing him back! This stops whatever he has planned momentarily but he continues to persist as he tugs her up to a kneeling position, but Astraea simply continues as she goes for repeated punches toward the abdomen this time! That’s enough to force Andre backward, THOUGH BRIEFLY IT WAS ENOUGH FOR ASTRAEA TO GO UNDER AND DROP ANDRE WITH A DROP TOE HOLD!
Flannery McCoy: Andre lands facefirst but quickly tries to recover before Astraea can follow up with anything else, BUT IT’S TOO LATE AS SHE CONNECTS WITH ‘POWER OF SOUL’! STEP-UP DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO THE FACE OF A KNEELING ANDRE WALKER CONNECTS WHILE SHE ROLLS HIM OVER AND HOOKS THE LEG! GOING FOR THE PIN ATTEMPT RIGHT HERE!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHH-
Jake Mercer: BUT IT’S NOT ENOUGH WITH ANDRE MANAGING TO KICK OUT! Astraea brings herself up to a seated position and you can immediately see the toll this match has taken on her so far. That’s going to be a given, but if she wants to keep it up this entire match then she’s going to have to keep pushing, and you can see Serena Bennett at ringside trying to hype her teammate up to do just that. Astraea grabs the ropes and uses them to get back up to her feet while you can see Andre slowly following. Astraea let’s him… BEFORE TURNING AROUND AND SETTING HIM UP INTO A STANDING SHIRANUI!
Stew-O: WAIT WAIT! ANDRE KEEPS HER UP INTO THE AIR BEFORE BRINGING HER DOWN ONTO HIS SHOULDERS INTO A FIREMAN’S CARRY! ANDRE ISN’T DONE THOUGH AS HE POPS ASTRAEA UP OFF THE GROUND AND INTO A POWERBOMB POSITION BEFORE NAILING HER WITH A SIT-OUT POWERBOMB! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL COUNTER BY ANDRE AS HE KNEW THE SITUATION HE WAS IN AND HOW HE WAS GOING TO GET OUT OF IT!
Flannery McCoy: Whether Astraea Jordan likes it or not, Andre Walker is back in this match. Andre grabs Astraea and brings her up to her feet, nailing her with a forearm to the face! Astraea shakes it off and manages to compose herself, before sending one back- But Andre manages to duck under it and connect with a palm uppercut! Andre then turns around and runs toward the ropes… BEFORE LOOKING TO CONNECT WITH A LARIAT TO THE FACE OF ASTRAEA- But Astraea manages to narrowly duck under it despite that! Both Astraea and Andre turn to face one another, BEFORE ASTRAEA SPINS AROUND AND ATTEMPTS TO CONNECT WITH A SPINNING HEEL KICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD! WHICH CONNECTS!
Jake Mercer: This forces Andre down to a knee while Astraea runs toward the ropes… BEFORE LEAPING INTO THE AIR AND DROPPING ANDRE WITH A HURRICANRANA! Astraea gets right back up and looks to follow, RUNNING FORWARD AND LEAPING INTO THE AIR FOR A RUNNING SHOOTING STAR PRESS TO A GROUNDED ANDRE WALKER!
Stew-O: WHICH MISSES! Andre manages to roll out of the way before it can connect leaving Astraea to crash down onto the canvas stomach first! Astraea slowly begins to get up, but I think it might be too late for that… ‘KAISER’S TOUCH’! SUPERMAN PUNCH CONNECTS ON THE SECOND ATTEMPT DROPPING ASTRAEA DOWN TO THE MAT! ANDRE IMMEDIATELY DROPS DOWN AND PINS ASTRAEA’S SHOULDERS TO THE MAT! GOING FOR IT!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRREE-
Flannery McCoy: BUT ASTRAEA BARELY MANAGES TO KICK OUT! The crowd is on their feet for their performance just as Serena Bennett is as the will of Astraea Jordan continues to push her through this tough matchup against the World Heavyweight Champion! Astraea immediately begins to crawl away knowing the situation she finds herself in right now, even though she did manage to survive the Superman Punch she still needs to make sure whatever the irate World Heavyweight Champion has in mind now is prevented.
Jake Mercer: That’s not going to be a cakewalk though with a displeased Andre Walker beginning to rise back up to his feet and once again set his sights on Astraea down on the mat. Astraea is clutching onto the turnbuckles, using them to get back up to her feet and fall against the corner to keep herself on both her feet. Andre steps forward before connecting with a brutal shot toward the abdomen to take the air out of Astraea’s body! Andre follows that up with a strike to the face, BEFORE GRABBING HER AND LOOKING TO TOSS HER INTO ANOTHER BIEL THROW- But Astraea manages to stop it by connecting with a kick toward the abdomen! That sends Andre back but he begins to approach again, FALLING INTO ASTRAEA WHO USES THE ROPES TO BOOT HIM STRAIGHT IN THE FACE! The opportunity presents itself now as Astraea turns around and brings herself up to the top rope, possibly looking to take Andre down with a high-risk maneuver-
Stew-O: BUT ANDRE MANAGES TO CATCH HER JUST IN TIME WITH A FIST TO THE FACE! That brings Astraea down to a seated position on the top turnbuckle and knowing how situations like that go it’s not a good position to be in for the former Empress of Elite. Andre looks to be joining her up on the top rope now, continuing to throw punches toward her face in hopes of making sure her combating this assault isn’t an issue for him! Andre now brings her into a front facelock, and I think I have a clue of what he has in mind with what he’s planned… LIFTING ASTRAEA OFF THE GROUND AND ATTEMPTING TO PLUMMET BOTH OF THEM DOWN WITH A SUPERPLEX!
Flannery McCoy: BUT ASTRAEA MANAGES TO KEEP HERSELF ON THE TOP! And now she begins to send punches toward the side of Andre in hopes of him letting go of her so she can get some leeway right now! Andre ultimately let’s go before trying to connect with a punch- BUT ASTRAEA CATCHES HIM WITH A HEADBUTT BEFORE HE CAN! Astraea has him stunned right now, and it looks like she’s about to do some more as she grabs him by the head, what could she possibly have planned right now…
Jake Mercer: SHE BALANCES HERSELF BEFORE LEAPING OFF OF THE TOP ROPE AND PLANTING ANDRE FACE-FIRST WITH AN AVALANCHE BULLDOG! WHAT A MOVE BY ASTRAEA JORDAN TO GET AHEAD AS SHE HOOKS THE LEG AND ATTEMPTS TO GO FOR A PIN!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTTHHHHHHRRRRRRR-
Stew-O: BUT ANDRE MANAGES TO POWER OUT AGAIN! These two Elitists have put one another through absolute hell, but when it comes down to it they simply refuse to give up and that’s what’s been pushing this match so far. You can see how unhappy Astraea is about that, because every opportunity she’s got to put this match away it was Andre that managed to persist through that and vice versa. How much more do both of them have left in this great match???
Flannery McCoy: We’re about to find out that’s all I can tell you, Astraea is back up and has fallen back into the corner. It looks like she’s planning something now with Andre beginning to rise up as well. You can see between these two Elitists just how much this match has taken out of them. Andre is back up to his feet while Astraea has him right where she wants him…
Jake Mercer: ASTRAEA IS GOING FOR A SPEAR! ORIGINALLY A MOVE OF HER OWN IN TRIBUTE TO MR. DEDEDE BUT NOW A MEANS OF INSULT TO INJURY THROUGH ‘#ASTRAEABETTER’ TO THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!
Stew-O: BUT ANDRE MANAGES TO STOP IT IN TIME WITH A KNEE STRIKE! HE THEN GRABS HER AND PULLS HER IN BEFORE DROPPING HER WITH A SUPLEX! Andre has managed to once again save himself before he grabs Astraea and brings her back up, BEFORE PULLING HER IN THIS TIME WITH A BACK SUPLEX! Andre with a burst of energy which manages to pull him through and help lay out Astraea with some pretty big moves right now!
Flannery McCoy But ‘The Blackprint’ is still getting back up leaving Andre to turn around and run toward her, LEAPING INTO THE AIR AND CONNECTING WITH A JUMPING CLOTHESLINE! Andre then grabs her by the arm and pulls her toward the ropes before waiting for her to rebound… AND LEAPING INTO THE AIR FOR ANOTHER JUMPING CLOTHESLINE! Despite all of that Astraea continues to rise back up to her feet, LEAVING ANDRE TO POP HER UP AND TAKE HER BACK DOWN WITH AN ABSOLUTELY VICIOUS SAMOAN DROP!
Jake Mercer: Andre is like a predator that has found his prey as he falls into the corner and waits for Astraea to get back up, this is the moment that he’s been waiting for right here and I don’t think he’s going to delay it one more moment! Astraea is trying her best to push through but we all have our limits! We all have our breaking point and this might be her’s right here! She’s back up to her feet but I don’t think she knows that’s going on…
Stew-O: ANDRE RUNS FORWARD AND GOES FOR ‘HUNGER ON HILLSIDE’! SPEAR TO ASTRAEA TO FINISH THIS-
Flannery McCoy: BUT ASTRAEA MANAGES TO LEAP OUT OF THE WAY JUST IN TIME AND ROLL TO A KNEE! Andre takes a hard tumble but quickly gets back up as well knowing what just happened and how he needs to recover, turning toward Astraea…
Jake Mercer: BUT ASTRAEA CATCHES ANDRE WITH ‘FREE SMOKE’! REVERSE ROUNDHOUSE KICK CONNECTS KNOCKING ANDRE OUT COLD! NO WAY THIS IS GOING TO BE IT!
Stew-O: I DON’T KNOW! BOTH ELITISTS ARE DOWN ON THE MAT AND IT SEEMS ASTRAEA IS TOO FATIGUED TO CAPITALIZE AND GO FOR THE PIN! THE LONGER SHE HOLDS OUT ON THIS THE MORE OF A CHANCE ANDRE HAS TO KICK OUT! SERENA IS TRYING TO RALLY UP HER PARTNER AT RINGSIDE BUT ASTRAEA IS BARELY MOVING! SHE STRETCHES HER ARM OUT TRYING HER BEST! BEFORE THROWING HER ARM OVER ANDRE! PIN!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
…
…
…
Flannery McCoy: THAT GRACE PERIOD WAS JUST ENOUGH FOR ANDRE TO KICK OUT! ASTRAEA IS SHOCKED! SERENA IS SHOCKED! EVERYONE IS SHOCKED RIGHT NOW!
Jake Mercer: Astraea is trying her best to get back up to her feet, and she realizes that this match is in her favor so far but just seeing how Andre kicked out it might not be for long. Astraea turns over to Andre and waits for him to get back up to her feet, possibly looking to deliver another killing blow in hopes of finally putting an end to this match once and for all. Andre is slowly rising back up to his feet, probably not even knowing where he is right now while Astraea begins to set him up…
Stew-O: PULLING HIM IN AND ATTEMPTING ‘RED SNOW’! BUTTERFLY PILEDRIVER TO SPIKE ANDRE ON HIS HEAD!
Flannery McCoy: BUT ANDRE MANAGES TO COUNTER INTO A BACK BODY DROP AT THE LAST SECOND TO SAVE HIMSELF FROM A POTENTIAL MATCH-ENDER RIGHT HERE! Astraea clutches her back and begins to get up to her feet while Andre shoots toward the ropes and back…
Jake Mercer: ‘HUNGER ON HILLSIDE’! THE SPEAR ABSOLUTELY TEARS ‘THE BLACKPRINT’ IN HALF AND DROPS HER DOWN TO THE MAT!
Stew-O: WHAT A FOLLOW UP BY ANDRE WALKER! IT DOESN’T LOOK LIKE HE’S GOING FOR THE PIN THOUGH AS INSTEAD HE FALLS BACK INTO THE CORNER AND YELLS AT ASTRAEA TO GET BACK UP! SERENA IS GETTING ANXIOUS AT RINGSIDE WHILE ASTRAEA BEGINS TO SLOWLY RISE BACK UP AGAIN! THIS COULD BE ANDRE’S CHANCE TO PUT THE FINAL NAIL IN THE COFFIN AS HE SETS HER UP…
Flannery McCoy: FOR A SECOND ‘HUNGER ON HILLSIDE’! SPEAR CONNECTS ONE MORE TIME WHILE ANDRE INSTANTLY ROLLS OVER AND HOOKS THE LEG ON ASTRAEA! GOING FOR A PIN ATTEMPT TO FINALLY FINISH THIS MATCH OFF!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Leaving Caladan’ begins to play up while Andre Walker slowly pulls himself up to a seated position. He takes a moment to compose himself before reaching out and using the ropes to help himself up to his feet. The referee is seen entering into the ring, making his way over and handing Andre the World Heavyweight Championship before then raising his hand in victory.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner… the EAW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!!! ANDRE WALKER!!!!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: ‘The Kaiser’ reigns supreme and proves that Poor Unfortunate Souls was just a bump in the road. I ACKNOWLEDGE!
Stew-O: Truly a great match that we got the chance to witness tonight, and while Andre came out on top you can’t help but applaud Astraea Jordan in her efforts here tonight. She put up a show against Andre and truly laid it all on the line, and even though it wasn’t enough that deserves to be applauded.
Flannery McCoy: But when it was all said and done it was your World Heavyweight Champion that had his hand raised and that is well deserved. Now he sets his sights on Territorial Invasion and facing Amir Yusuf and this might set a deadly precedent for what’s to come. Congratulations to Andre!
(Serena Bennett is seen helping Astraea Jordan out of the ring as the two of them make their way up the ramp very unhappy about what happened. Meanwhile, Andre is up on the top rope with the World Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder and a finger raised high into the air. It’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty transitions to elsewhere.)
(A commercial is shown for Cup Noodles featuring Jake Smith.)
(Dynasty returns to the main stage as cheers ensue to the tune of “King’s Dead” as Limmy Monaghan makes his way onto the Dynasty stage.)
Flannery McCoy: Here comes the leader of team Dynasty at Territorial Invasion, Limmy Monaghan! He’s got a lot on his mind after Showdown’s attack last week and has promised us that he’s going to put EVERYONE on both Showdown and Voltage on notice!
(Limmy stands at the top of the ramp as “Demeanor” by Pop Smoke and Dua Lipa gets the crowd back to their feet with a big reaction, Serenity Valdez appears and she approaches the right side of Limmy.)
(“Trophies” by Drake rings throughout the ears of everyone in the Accorhotels Arena as the crowd goes crazy for the now EAW Interwire Champion, Joso.)
Flannery McCoy: Here they come!
Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentleman, please welcome…..THE LEADER OF TEAM DYNASTY, LIMMY MONAGHAN! EAW SPECIALISTS CHAMPIONNNNNN, SERENITY VALDEZ AND THE EAW INTERWIRE CHAMPION….JOSO!!!
(All three get into the ring as Limmy’s handed a mic and begins walking around the ring while Serenity and Joso watch on.)
Limmy Monaghan: We shouldn’t even be surprised, should we? Should we actually look ourselves in the mirror and faithfully believe that this is the first time Adam Lucas has shown his true colors? See, after Adam Lucas lost King of Elite, he started to spiral downwards, the cracks in the armor began to show and the true man beneath it began to bleed through. His blackheart was on display for the entire world, so I can’t even be surprised that he’d abandon any sense of honor and send his team to stick the sword through us while our backs were turned.
Limmy Monaghan: When you’re in the heat of war, it’s different. The blood clouds your vision, you only see red. Anything goes and nobody knows the bloodshed more than the red brand, nobody knows that violent and grueling experience like Limmy Monaghan. You could say we hadn’t anticipated the cowardice to reveal itself this early on, but seeing as it has, we’re here tonight to put everyone on notice.
(The crowd cheers as Joso is handed the microphone.)
Joso: You heard it here first, Dynasty is coming for an ass beating at Territorial Invasion of both team blue and team yellow. Team red is gonna spill their blood all over the O2 and we’re gonna get back in blood that pussy attack from last week. Figures, nobody would dare step to team Dynasty, a team full of winners, champions, and former champions alike, and try to face them head on. Guys like Jake Smith, Adam Lucas, and Xander Payne who have been here for years and still don’t know who the fuck they are really find joy in getting the drop on us behind our backs, but trust me, that won’t happen again. If you boys are scared now, wait until Territorial Invasion.
(The crowd cheers loudly.)
Joso: Wait until Territorial Invasion when Sereny Valdez, Limmy Monaghan, and the Interwire Champion of the world, the “new era” himself, JOSO, STAMP OUR NAMES ON THE BACK OF YOUR NECKS FOREVER AS WE BRING HOME A WIN THAT LETS THE WHOLE WORLD KNOW THE KIND OF DICKLESS LOSERS Y’ALL REALLY ARE! XANDER PAYNE BEEN HERE SINCE RONN BANKS BEARD HAD NO GRAY HAIRS AND HE’S STILL JUST THAT SAME LAME, OLD, TIRED FUCKING BITCH HE ALWAYS HAS BEEN! JAKE SMITH JUST WON HIS FIRST MAJOR ACCOLADE IN ABOUT 2 YEARS AND HE THINKS HE’S THE GUY NOW?! ADAM LUCAS STILL UPSET HE’S NEVER HAD A WORLD TITLE REIGN AND CAN’T EVEN FIND HIMSELF ORBITING THE TITLE PICTURE! FUCKING LAMES!
Serenity Valdez: Some REAL fucking lames who-
(The French crowd pops big for Serenity.)
Serenity Valdez: Some real fucking lames have absolutely no idea who they are coming up against in London. I’m Jack the fucking Ripper as far as every single one of them is concerned, especially Adam, who was happy enough to provide us with his much wanted insight and commentary, saying Joso and I weren’t ready…you weren’t even ready to face us head on? You weren’t even ready to win at Pain For Pride, that was your teammate, baby. You weren’t ready to beat the man that Joso just beat for his Interwire title. It would do you best to shut your pretty mouth because even your probably snow colored God would agree that nothing intelligent is coming out of it.
Limmy Monaghan: Hold on- I still have some measure of respect for Adam. How could I not after every WAR we’ve been through against one another? Either way, last week’s attack was just a headline to us that you’re ready to start customs before the match even gets underway. What you did is something we won’t hesitate to return right back to you and like my teammate here always says….
Joso: WE WON’T MISS.
(Crowd goes crazy and starts repeating; “WE WON’T MISS! WE WON’T MISS!”
Serenity Valdez: We won’t miss when we strike a blow back and expect that blow to be twice as hard, cutting you that much deeper and making a massive statement on the road to Territorial Invasion that team red will not be fucked with. Team Dynasty won’t roll over and show their belly for any amount of loser has-beens or guys who are considered legends because they’ve simply existed in EAW for a long period of time, when the reality is that guys like Jake Smith, Adam Lucas, and Xander Payne spent most of their time being uneventful, uncreative, and an overall waste of roster slots.
Serenity Valdez: I refuse to believe and absolutely don’t that anybody on either Showdown or Voltage can best me inside that ring and I know it won’t be these tired bozos. They’ve tried their best to put me down and play me like I don’t belong alongside Limmy Monaghan, or even belong next to Joso, but I can promise you, I belong with the very best this company has to offer, I promise. Nobody on either Voltage’s side or Showdown’s bleeding fat vagina of a brand representation will have any clue of the skill I possess and the x-factor I bring to this match. Every one of these men has already written me off, but I’ll write the most important part of the story at Territorial Invasion; the end. I’ll make them eat their fucking words and establish myself as one of the greatest competitors in EAW.
(Limmy Monaghan is handed the microphone again as he prepares to address the capacity crowd.)
Limmy Monaghan: I chose both Joso and Serenity Valdez because I see their potential and capability to one day be the greatest this brand has to offer EAW. This will be the stage they grace to step up to the next level in their careers as they stand alongside me and drag home the biggest win they ever have. They cross the largest milestone and defy the most expectations when they face former world champions, hall of famers, a slew of accolades that they’ll look to add to their own belt with an impressive win at Territorial Invasion. Honestly, does team Showdown believe that these two can’t “handle” an opportunity like this?
Limmy Monaghan: Joso just handled the most dominant opportunity in all of EAW.
Joso: That’s exactly right and I was being written off then like I am right now. Nobody gave me a chance against Andre Walker again, everybody said he was too good, he was unbeatable, he wouldn’t lose to me. Then he did. He and Ruler both lost and I stand as the only man to ever beat Andre Walker for any title he’s ever held, I also have his ONLY loss of this entire year. I took the most gigantic chance in EAW and gambled on myself; look where I ended up? If anybody is saying I can’t or won’t live up to these other competitors in this match, trust me, I’m one of the only guys that actually can.
Joso: I beat Andre Walker for a reason. Andre Walker beat Adam Lucas and Xander Payne nearly consecutively on Free-Per-View, but I can’t handle this challenge? That’s hilarious. You are some fucking clowns and I’m gonna make you gargle on your blood during our match. I’m gonna break your ribs, break your spirit, break your fucking expecations and once again show that Joso is the future. Joso is him. Joso is the new era and Joso never misses. I stepped up and did what nobody else was capable of or thought I was capable of, but you think I can’t do it again? I’m just getting started, man.
Limmy Monaghan: We are just getting started as a team and we are united under the banner of team Dynasty. We’re flying that flag high above our heads and we won’t let it fall as we head into battle. See, we possess something neither of the other teams do; unity. We are one unit, one machine, one goal in one mind. Everyone else is shoving and fighting their way into trying to feel like their team’s star player, but we’re all stars here and team Dynasty isn’t self-obsessed and blinded by the ego that’s going to end up tripping up both team Voltage and team Showdown. Showdown was barely holding up as is, we’re going to exploit that weakness at Territorial Invasion and target it like an open wound. We’re the infection that goes straight to your heart.
Limmy Monaghan: Team Dynasty will come out on top at Territorial Invasion because we are fighting for the same cause, with the same intentions and for the same side. Everyone else is just fighting for themselves. It’s 3 against 1, 3 times over. 3 times over the 3 will remain and we will pick these cunts off one by one. We will exploit their weaknesses, shatter their spirits and leave Territorial Invasion with a win. But it’s been made clear that the other sides aren’t willing to wait that long, so why should we? We can and will strike back when we see fit and that will be when our opponents least suspect it. When they feel safe, we’ll make our presence known and return what only first was brought onto us. Be careful what you wish for because if you play with fire, it will burn you sooner or later and Dynasty is the red hot flame that burns alive the chances of team Showdown and team Voltage. We will watch as they ftry their best to come back from the hole they’ve put themselves in, but all efforts will be futile. Team Dynasty knows the path to victory and we’re already paving it.
Limmy Monaghan: We’re here to make a statement and not only will we not miss, but we won’t leave until EAW knows there’s only one monarch…
(Limmy points to himself…)
Limmy Monaghan: But he’s just a piece of the only irreplaceable brand this company knows.
(Limmy drops the microphone and “King’s Dead” ensues again as the shot pans out of the three competitors on the ropes, Joso raising his title high and Serena lighting up the crowd with her title raised above her head. Limmy stares solemnly into the camera as the shot fades to black and the scene reopens to a commercial break.)
(A commercial break is shown for safe gambling starring Jake Mercer.)
(‘King’s Dead’ by Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Future & James Blake begins to play through the speakers of the AccorHotels Arena in Paris, France. The EAW Universe rises up for their feet to give Team Dynasty’s Team Captain in Anarchy in the Arena a standing ovation. Limmy Monaghan comes out from the back wearing some red and white in his ring gear as he goes down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS YOUR MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING AND IT’S SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL—
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!!!
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST…FROM BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA…WEIGHING IN 227 POUNDS…HE IS THE CAPTAIN OF TEAM DYNASTY AT ANARCHY IN THE ARENA….”THE LEADER”…LIMMY MONAGHAN!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Here is the man who will be leading Team Dynasty in Anarchy in the Arena. This is such an amazing opportunity from the man born in Glasgow, Scotland. Limmy Monaghan was a stand out on the Showdown brand this season. He really grew to his own after all of that Insurgency mess, but we’re fortunate that we’re being represented by an amazing talent in him, who will do everything he can to bring this brand to victory.
Flannery McCoy: Our resume when comes to these tri-brand matches has been amazing. We’ve won War Games, Stadium Stampede last year and this year, we’re planning to dominate this match and win it like we’ve won all those other years. Anarchy in the Arena will be nothing more than a feather in our cap!
Jake Mercer: I mean, have you seen who Limmy Monaghan selected? The EAW Specialists Champion and a very hungry talent in Serenity Valdez and the man that never misses in the newly crowned Interwire Champion, Joso! This is a team full of successful people who are more than ready to go into war for the Dynasty brand and walk away as victors!
Stew-O: That’s Territorial Invasion, Jake. Tonight, we’re going to be infiltrated by the Voltage brand as Team Voltage’s Hikari Kanno will be taking on Limmy Monaghan!
(‘As Long As I Love’ by TK from Ling Taste Sigure replaces ‘King’s Dead’ as Hikari Kanno walks into enemy territory decked in a shimmery gold ring attire. Hikari has a smirk on her face as she looks around at the crowd’s displeasure to see her. She basques in all of that, feeling confident, but focused about this match ahead of her.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING HIS OPPONENT…REPRESENTING TEAM VOLTAGE…FROM OKINAWA, JAPAN…SHE IS “THE PENITENT IDOL”…HIKARI KANNO!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: I hate to admit it— but the level of competition on the Voltage brand has always been advance, so I questioned on who would face Limmy Monaghan this week and it seems like Hikari Kanno was the choice they went with. This woman is such an amazing wrestler with a bright future ahead of her. Things have been tough with her, but she’s always stepped up to the plate and worked with whatever was thrown ahead of her.
Jake Mercer: This woman has balls. I mean, for ANYONE to want a fight with someone like our Chairman of the Board, Mr. DEDEDE and not be afraid deserves a lot of credit. Not only that, but she’s a former Unified Tag Team Champion, a runner-up in the Iconic Cup finals and has been in the ring with some of the best since day one. This is one woman who has been breaded for success and there will come a day where she will be World Champion.
Stew-O: Her personality and sharp tongue has rubbed people the wrong way. Her locker room peers and the EAW Universe have been on the receiving end of all of that, but Hikari Kanno LOVES that. She loves seeing people’s feelings get hurt. She has ruffled so many feathers in the locker room and in Anarchy in the Arena, that could make her a target. I mean, who wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to punch her in the face?
Flannery McCoy: Hikari is no slouch though and she’ll be ready for what gets thrown at her and lead Voltage to victory!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: The match begins with the two Elitists circling around each other, looking for their perfect moment of going for a lock in. Now, this is truly an interesting combination that we’re going to get tonight, so I’m expecting some technical wrestling from both of these wonderful athletes. And…THESE TWO GO FOR A TIE-UP!
Flannery McCoy: But, Hikari Kanno goes for the wrist lock on Limmy Monaghan, but Limmy ends up throwing an elbow to the face of Hikari before going for a headlock, keeping his foot planted on the mat. But, Hikari manages to maintain control of the wrist before applying a wrist lock on Limmy! Now, she wraps her arms around the waist of the former Hardcore Champion as it looks like she’s going to go for the butterfly suplex as the move connects, but Limmy lands on his feet behind her as Hikari turns herself around! Hikari charges toward ‘The Leader’ as she takes him down with a headscissors takedown –
Jake Mercer: Limmy Monaghan lands on his feet, almost like it was completely effortless as Hikari Kanno realizes that she is really going to need to put in the effort to take someone as impressive as Limmy. I mean, this man was chosen to lead Team Dynasty at Anarchy in the Arena. This brand doesn’t pick slackers. 💪🏻😤
Stew-O: You’re absolutely right as Limmy Monaghan finds his way back to his feet as he’s gesturing for Hikari Kanno to give him everything that she has to offer. Hikari doesn’t crack a smile or anything. You can tell that she’s clearly focused. Even going into this week, she wasn’t her humorous self. She seemed more serious about the match in front of her. It was more like she knew that Limmy Monaghan would be the competition. While Hikari has the confidence that she’s going to beat Limmy, she can’t underestimate Limmy.
Flannery McCoy: You got that right, Stew! Hikari Kanno doesn’t want to dive to Limmy Monaghan, but she wants Limmy to dive to *her!* Oh, Hikari is ready for the challenge on him and Limmy doesn’t hesitate as he runs towards the former Unified Tag Team Champion! HIKARI STOPS HIM WITH A KNIFE-EDGED CHOP TO HIS CHEST, BUT WHEN LIMMY GOES RIGHT AFTER HIKARI, HIKARI DUCKS AS HE STANDS BEHIND HIM AND IT SEEMS LIKE SHE’S GOING TO CONNECT WITH A BACKSLIDE PIN! IS SHE LOOKING TO STEAL THE VICTORY IN THE EARLY MOMENTS OF THE MATCHUP?
OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTTTWWWWWW–
Jake Mercer: LIMMY MONAGHAN IS ABLE TO GET HIMSELF OUT OF THE BACKSLIDE PIN, BUT HE HAS HIKARI KANNO IN POSITION FOR A POWERBOMB, BUT HIKARI IS ABLE TO SWIPE LIMMY BEHIND HIS LEGS AND TAKE HIM TO HIS BACK! NOW, HIKARI BEGINS TO UNLOAD ON LIMMY WITH LEFT AND RIGHT BEFORE STRADDLING HIM AND PINNING HIS SHOULDERS TO THE MAT WITH HIS HANDS!
OOOONNNN–
Stew-O: Limmy Monaghan begins to bridge himself out of Hikari Kanno’s pinfall attempt, but Limmy and Hikari’s hands are intertwined with each other as Limmy uses the strength in his legs to lift up the former Unified Tag Team Champion and takes her back with a monkey flip! Hikari gets flipped to a seated position as Limmy finds his way back to his feet! He grabs Hikari by the back of her head and brings her up to his feet as he delivers a knee to her ribs! He grabs her by her arm before delivering an Irish whip to the horizontal set of ropes! Hikari doesn’t allow herself to rebound from them as she matches to catch herself! She sees Limmy coming ahead as he goes for a knee strike –
Flannery McCoy: BUT, HIKARI KANNO IS ABLE TO DUCK OUT OF THAT KNEE STRIKE FROM LIMMY MONAGHAN BEFORE STANDING BEHIND THE FORMER HARDCORE CHAMPION, GETTING HIM BY THE WAIST AND TAKING HIM DOWN WITH A DEADLIFT RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX AND SHE HAS THE BRIDGE AS SHE LOOKS TO PIN LIMMY!
OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTT–
Jake Mercer: LIMMY MONAGHAN KICKS OUT QUICKLY AS HE ROLLS HIMSELF TO HIS KNEES, BUT HIKARI KANNO FOLLOWS THAT UP WITH A SPIKED HURRICANRANA DRIVER! Spiking ‘The Leader’ on the top of his head! Hikari could have gone for the cover there, but I see that she may have some different plans as she picks up the bigger man by that mop of a head of his! She looks Limmy dead in the eye, almost like she is saying “I want you to take a look at the woman who is going to defeat you and make you feel unfit to be a leader.”
Stew-O: Hikari Kanno has Limmy Monaghan by his chin as she delivers a slap across the face of Limmy! But, that doesn’t make him stagger, which causes Hikari to raise a brow as she connects with a second slap to Limmy’s face, but the same result. She connects with a third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth and caps that off with a tenth slap to the face, which ends up taking Limmy down to one knee! Hikari takes a step back before going forward and connecting with a big boot to the face of Limmy as that takes him back! She grabs Limmy by his hair again and takes him back up to his feet before having her eyes set on the corner across from them! Hikari extends her leg and places her boot on the turnbuckle before throwing Limmy there! Limmy turns to his back at the corner as Hikari takes a couple of steps back –
Flannery MCCOY: HIKARI KANNO CHARGES TO LIMMY MONAGHAN AT THE CORNER! SHE DELIVERS A RUNNING EUROPEAN UPPERCUT THAT SENDS THE BIGGER ELITIST STAGGERING FORWARD, BUT HIKARI MANAGES TO CATCH LIMMY BY THE ARM AND DELIVERS AN ARM DRAG, BUT SHE MAINTAINS POSSESSION OF THE ARM BEFORE CONNECTING WITH AN ELBOW TO THE SHOULDER OF LIMMY! AND ANOTHER ONE! AND ANOTHER ONE! AND ANOTHER ONE! WHAT EVERYONE NEEDS TO REALIZE IS THAT HIKARI IS SOMEONE WHO WILL EITHER TARGET THE SHOULDER, NECK OR ARMS AND THAT IS WHAT HELPS MAKE HER FINISHER’S SO IMPACTFUL.
Jake Mercer: Hikari Kanno takes Limmy Monaghan by his right arm and pulls him to the nearest bottom rope and she intertwines the arm with the bottom rope! She takes a step back before colliding with a huge stomp to that arm which causes the former Hardcore Champion to squirm in pain! But, Hikari now places her weight on Limmy’s arm as the referee begins his count!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! GET OFF THE ARM, HIKARI!
Stew-O: Hikari Kanno brushes off the presence of the referee, but does get off of Limmy Monaghan’s arm! The last thing that would make her and Voltage look good is getting disqualified. With these preview matches, it’s all about representing your brand and showing what brand is better than the other. Can you imagine what impression it would send anyone if Voltage’s Hikari Kanno defeated Team Dynasty’s captain, Limmy Monaghan? Does that make people think of Limmy as easy pickings?
Flannery McCoy: I can’t imagine what that does for someone from Limmy Monaghan who wants to be taken seriously in a match-up like this. While he has displayed the presence that he *should* be taken seriously, not many people may agree with that sentiment. He’s a talented Elitist. A future World Champion.
Jake Mercer: Is Limmy Monaghan too soft? Is he fit to be a leader? :lupe:
Stew-O: Too soft? We’ve seen this man compete in Hardcore Championship matches! We’ve seen him compete in ladder matches. We’ve seen him come out of his comfort zone for so many matches, so there should be zero questions on whether he is more than capable of being part of this match. He was selected for a reason and he has composed a fantastic team of champions and young upstarts.
Flannery McCoy: Let’s not underestimate Hikari Kanno, who was defeating World Champions in her first few matches in the company. She’s managed to find her way into World Championship matches, Iconic Cup finales, and championship gold. She’s a future World Champion in her own right. A victory over Limmy Monaghan would be splendid for her.
Jake Mercer: This is what makes this main event so difficult for me. You can’t decide on a winner. While a loss doesn’t diminish the other, a victory would be excellent momentum going into Territorial Invasion! But, as we focus back on the match-up, we see Limmy Monaghan clutch on his right arm as Hikari Kanno has a slight smirk on her face as she kicks Limmy playfully on the bottom of his boot, almost like she wants him to get back up to his feet! While Limmy is trying to regain some feeling back in his arm, he does get back to his feet! You can see that he’s clutching that right shoulder/arm of his, but he’s not planning to let any of that stop him from delivery in this main event!
Stew-O: Hikari Kanno goes right after Limmy Monaghan, but Limmy connects with a knee to her ribs as which stops her momentum for a bit! HE TAKES A STEP BACK BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A KNIFE-EDGED CHOP TO HER CHEST AS THAT TAKES HER BACK FOR A SLIGHT SECOND, BUT SHE MANAGES TO LAND BACK ON HER FEET! LIMMY GOES FOR ANOTHER KNIFE-EDGED CHOP AND THIS TIME AROUND, SHE MANAGES TO KEEP HER FEET PLANTED ON THE GROUND! LIMMY GOES FOR A THIRD KNIFE-EDGE CHOP! AND A FOURTH! AND A FIFTH! SIXTH! SEVENTH! EIGHTH! NINTH! TENTH! AND AN EXTRA FINAL ONE CAUSES FOR THE FORMER UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPION TO FALL BACK AGAINST THE HORIZONTAL ROPES AS LIMMY GOES TO HER, BUT SHE GETS A BOOT UP!
Flannery McCoy: Limmy Monaghan has her boot before connecting with a dragon screw leg whip as that takes Hikari Kanno down! Limmy sees that Hikari is finding herself in a crawling position, so he follows that up with a swift kick to her stomach that takes her to her back! Limmy picks up Hikari and places her in position before connecting with a sit-out powerbomb! He has Hikari there in the perfect position as the referee gets in position for the cover!
OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: Hikari Kanno kicks out! But, Limmy Monaghan has Hikari by her legs as he turns her around and it seems like he’s going to apply a Boston crab on her! Hikari is trying to twist herself to her back, bUT LIMMY ENDS UP STOMPING HER IN THE RIBS BEFORE TURNING HER TO HER STOMACH AND APPLYING THE SUBMISSION MOVE! HIKARI HAS THE BOSTON CRAB APPLIED TO HER AS SHE’S TRYING TO CLUTCH TO THAT BOTTOM ROPE! SHE TRIES TO LIFT HER ENTIRE BODY UP AS SHE HEADS TOWARDS THAT BOTTOM ROPE! SHE IS NOT GOING TO ALLOW HERSELF TO SUBMIT! SHE WILL NOT GIVE UP WITHOUT A FIGHT! Limmy is trying to keep her away from those ropes, but I think that he can feel his grasp slipping away as the application of the submission is beginning to weaken!
Stew-O: Hikari Kanno clutches onto that bottom rope as the referee has no other choice, but to begin his count!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!
Flannery McCoy: It took the might of Hikari Kanno to get to that bottom rope, but it was the best thing to happen to her! She clutches onto that bottom rope before rolling to the apron! It seems like Hikari just needed to find a small moment to recover and think about her next move. It seems like Limmy is not going to wait for her to recover as he exits the ring, getting on the apron with her! Limmy begins to pick up Hikari Kanno in a powerbomb position! Oh boy, I don’t think that I am going to like what he connects with next! :lupe:
Jake Mercer: Nope! It seems like Hikari Kanno is able to get herself out of that predicament as she shoves Limmy Monaghan away from her! BUT, LIMMY IS CLUTCHING ONTO THE TOP ROPE WITH HIS RIGHT HAND, BUT IT SEEMS LIKE HIKARI IS CHARGING TOWARDS HIM AND SHE HITS HIM – NO! ‘HOWITZER IMPACT’ – THE BICYCLE KNEE STRIKES TAKE HIKARI DOWN TO ONE KNEE AS LIMMY GETS HER IN POSITION FOR A POWERBOMB – NO!
Stew-O: ‘DESTINATION FUCKED’ – THE TRIANGLE CANADIAN DESTROYER ON THE APRON! :DAMN: SHADES OF THE HALL OF FAME AND ‘THE ACE’ HIMSELF, JAMIE O’HARA! I MEAN, HIKARI DID REFER TO HIM AS ‘JAMIE O’HARA-LITE’ EARLIER THIS WEEK! I GUESS, THAT MOVE KIND OF MADE SENSE!
Flannery McCoy: Hikari Kanno falls down to ringside as Limmy Monaghan finds himself back inside the ring as the EAW Universe begins to stomp in a ‘Terminator’ kind of fashion, which is being used to give Limmy Monaghan the energy he needs to deliver this next move! Limmy is gesturing for Hikari to find herself up to her feet! LIMMY IS TOTALLY FEELING THE ENERGY OF THE CROWD AS THE FANS IN THE ACCORHOTELS ARENA IN PARIS, FRANCE ARE STANDING UP TO THEIR FEET AS LIMMY RUSHES ACROSS THE RING AND NAILS A TOPE CON HILO ON HIKARI KANNO TO THE OUTSIDE! :damn: :damn: :damn:
Jake Mercer: Hikari Kanno gets taken down as Limmy Monaghan gets to his feet as he’s feeling energized and ready to go! He has the crowd behind him as he grabs ‘Japan’s Jewel’ and battery rams her first against the edge of the apron! Limmy begins to unload on a series of punches before rolling himself back into the ring for a moment and breaking the referee’s count at four! Limmy grabs Hikari and whips her to the barricade! Hikari does the best she can to catch herself on the apron, but she collided her spine first against it! Limmy is not going to hesitate for a second as he goes charging toward the former Unified Tag Team Champion! Limmy with a big boot to Hikari in the face –
Stew-O: HIKARI KANNO DUCKS OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND AS LIMMY MONAGHAN’S FOOT GOES OVER THE BARRICADE! HIKARI GETS POSSESSION OF LIMMY’S LEG THAT’S STILL AT RINGSIDE AND LIFTS HIM OVER THE BARRICADE SO THAT HE’S WITH THE EAW UNIVERSE! Hikari sees that Limmy is trying to find a steel chair to sit on! The security at this arena has done a wonderful job of making sure that the fans are evacuated from the altercation that is going to happen here! Meanwhile, we see that Hikari Kanno has her eyes on Limmy Monaghan as he’s trying to find his way back to his feet! Hikari charges at Limmy!
Flannery McCoy: HIKARI KANNO WITH A CROSSBODY AS THAT TAKES LIMMY MONAGHAN BACK TO THE STEEL CHAIRS! :damn: HIKARI IS ABLE TO FIND HERSELF BACK UP TO HER FEET! SHE GETS LIMMY BACK TO HIS FEET AS SHE THROWS A PUNCH TO HIS FACE! AND ANOTHER ONE! LIMMY STUMBLES BACK AS HE TRIES TO FIND HIS BALANCE AND IT SEEMS LIKE HIKARI WANTS TO SEE THAT FIRE WITHIN LIMMY! SHE WANTS TO SEE THE BEST THAT LIMMY HAS TO OFFER! LIMMY CONNECTS WITH A HEADBUTT AS THAT ONLY TAKES HER DOWN TO ONE KNEE! Limmy gets possession of her arm and looks to whip her, but Hikari counters that whip as it sends Limmy spine against the barricade! Hikari follows that up with a basement dropkick as she gets herself back to her feet!
Jake Mercer: Hikari Kanno is throwing the chairs away from her! She knows that she can’t risk disqualification and besides, I think that she’s all about hurting Limmy Monaghan anyway that she can’t. THE CROWD SURROUNDING THESE TWO ELITISTS IS ENCOURAGING LIMMY TO GET HIMSELF OUT OF THE SITUATION AS HIKARI IS ALMOST MOCKING THEIR SUPPORT OF LIMMY BEFORE SHE GETS LIMMY IN POSITION AND CONNECTS WITH A DOUBLE UNDERHOOK GERMAN SUPLEX ON THE COLD PAVEMENT FLOOR! LIMMY LANDED ON THE TOP OF HIS HEAD WITH THAT MOVE AND IT SEEMS LIKE HIKARI MIGHT HAVE FOUND THE ONE THING THAT COULD TAKE LIMMY OUT FOR GOOD IN THIS MATCH!
Stew-O: Hikari Kanno sarcastically bows to the EAW Universe, who don’t seem quite too happy at the moment! She gets Limmy Monaghan by his hair and throws him over the barricade and back into ringside! She hopes over the barricade soon after as it seems like the referee is beginning his count again! Since it’s now back at ringside, the referee can have a bit of control over this main event! The reason the count didn’t happen when the match was happening in the crowd was that anything that occurs over that barricade in matches is beyond the control of a referee.
Flannery McCoy: Hikari Kanno tries to get Limmy Monaghan on the apron, but Limmy drops down! Now, Hikari is quite light, but this woman can pack a punch! Of course, there is going to be a slight struggle with getting the former Hardcore Champion back inside the ring! As she rolls Limmy back inside the ring, she races for the top turnbuckle. If it was me, I would have gone for that cover!
Jake Mercer: I FELT LIKE THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE SAFEST THING TO DO, BUT HIKARI KANNO HAS HER BODY ON THE TOP ROPE! SHE IS LOOKING DOWN ON LIMMY MONAGHAN AS HE’S LAID OUT ON HIS BACK! HIKARI WITH AN ELBOW DROP ONTO THE CHEST OF LIMMY MONAGHAN AS SHE HOOKS HIS LEG FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
TTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
TTTTT—
Stew-O: A KICK OUT FROM LIMMY MONAGHAN AS THAT SENDS HIKARI KANNO BACK A BIT! She seems amused by the situation on hand as she rises herself back to her feet! Still, you can see that Limmy is trying to find the will to get himself back into this match! He realizes that he needs to find some power move that is going to get him back into this matchup or Hikari is going to make sure that he gets put down for this matchup! Slowly, you can see Limmy finding himself in a crawling position as Hikari is looking down on him! It’s almost like this is all amusing to her!
Flannery McCoy: HIKARI KANNO WITH A SLAP ACROSS THE FACE OF ‘THE LEADER!’ AND THEN, ANOTHER SLAP TO HIS FACE! AND ANOTHER ONE! AND ANOTHER ONE! AND ANOTHER ONE! AND ANOTHER ONE! AND ANOTHER ONE! But, look at this, Stew and Jake! Slowly, you can see that Limmy Monaghan is finding himself back on his feet! You can see a serious look on his face as Hikari is trying to have those slaps across his face have any sort of response before transitioning to knife-edged chops across the chest of Dynasty’s Team Captain in Anarchy in the Arena! It seems like Limmy is having zero responses to the offense that Hikari throws at him!
Jake Mercer: Limmy Monaghan connects with a knife-edge chop of his own as that sends Hikari Kanno back a bit, BUT HIKARI SWINGS A PUNCH TO LIMMY IN THE FACE! THAT SENDS LIMMY BACK, BUT HE CONNECTS WITH A PUNCH TO HIKARI! HIKARI WITH A PUNCH TO LIMMY! LIMMY WITH A PUNCH TO HIKARI! HIKARI! LIMMY! HIKARI! LIMMY! HIKARI! LIMMY! HIKARI TRIES TO KICK LIMMY, BUT LIMMY IS ABLE TO CATCH HER FOOT BEFORE ANYTHING CONNECTS! HE GETS HIKARI IN POSITION BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A KNEE CAP BRAINBUSTER AS THAT TAKES THE FORMER UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPION DOWN! HIKARI IS CLUTCHING THE BACK OF HER NECK! MEANWHILE, LIMMY IS TRYING TO REGAIN CONTROL OF THE MATCH! LIMMY TAKES A COUPLE OF STEPS BACK AS HE STALKS HIKARI BACK TO HIS FEET AS HE CONNECTS WITH THE ‘HOWITZER IMPACT’ — THE BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE TO HIKARI —
Stew-O: Wonderful awareness from ‘Japan’s Jewel’ who took herself to the outside! Limmy Monaghan rolls himself out of the ring, looking to get Hikari Kanno back inside the ring! It seems like Limmy is needing to go after Hikari as she gets on the apron! Limmy gets on the apron, BUT HIKARI JUMPS TO LIMMY AND USES THE RING POST TO SPRINGBOARD HERSELF OFF AND CONNECT WITH A TORNADO DDT! HIKARI IS BACK TO HER FEET INSTANTLY AS SHE GETS LIMMY BY HIS RIGHT ARM AND SLAMS IT AGAINST THE EDGE OF THE APRON! THIS CAUSES THE FORMER PURE CHAMPION TO GO BACK, CLUTCHING HIS ARM, BUT HIKARI MANAGES TO REGAIN THE POSITION OF THE ARM AND PULLS HIM NEAR THOSE STEEL STEPS! SHE RAISES THE ARM UP —
Flannery McCoy: Limmy Monaghan stops his arm from colliding at the bottom of those steel steps! Limmy has his hand balled into a fist as Hikari Kanno is trying to slam the arm down, BUT LIMMY MANAGES TO GET HIKARI BY HER WAIST, HOISTS HER UP, AND CONNECTS WITH A RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX AS THAT KEEPS THOSE TWO ELITISTS SEPARATED FOR THE TIME BEING! LIMMY WAITS FOR HIKARI TO FIND HERSELF BACK TO HER FEET BEFORE NAILING ‘HOWITZER IMPACT’ DIRECTLY TO HIKARI’S FACE! That is enough to take her down as Limmy sees an opportunity to walk away with the victory here! He grabs Hikari and rolls her back into the ring! He follows her shortly after! He gets Hikari up in position and it seems like he’s going to connect with ‘God of Destruction’s Wrath’ — the one-handed electric chair driver! He gets Hikari up on his shoulders —
Jake Mercer: Hikari Kanno delivers some punches to the top of the head of Limmy Monaghan! Now, she’s trying to rearrange her body and I have no idea what’s in Hikari’s mind at the moment as –
Flannery McCoy: ‘IDOL STAR DROP,’ BUT IT SEEMS LIKE HIKARI KANNO DID A VARIATION OF IT WITH LIMMY MONAGHAN STANDING UP, USING HIS KNEES TO HELP HER LAUCH HER BACK! THAT MOVE WAS EXECUTED WITH ALL THE LUCK OF THE WORLD AS SHE BACKFLIPPED INTO A BACK-TO-BACK KNEELING PILEDRIVER! :damn: She has Limmy there for the cover! Is this going to be all she wrote?!?!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
TTTTTTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
TTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRR–
Jake Mercer: Limmy Monaghan with the kick out, but Hikari Kanno is trying to remain focused on the task on hand as she gets to her feet! She picks up Limmy soon after and it seems like she’s going to go for the ‘Book of the End’ – the hammerlock back suplex into a Michinoku Driver II! Hikari tries to use all of that strength to get Limmy onto her shoulder and I can’t seem to fathom the strength of this young woman from Okinawa, Japan! It seems like Hikari is looking to end this match –
Stew-O: LIMMY MONAGHAN DROPS OFF HIKARI KANNO’S SHOULDER AND LANDS RIGHT BEHIND HER, BUT IT SEEMS LIKE HE HAS A POSITION ON HER AS HE GETS HER IN POSITION FOR THE ‘BERMUDA’S END’ – THE KNEELING BELLY-TO-BACK PILEDRIVER ON HIKARI AS LIMMY HAS HER IN PERFECT POSITION FOR THE COVER!
OOOOONNNNNEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRR–
Flannery McCoy: Hikari Kanno kicks out! But, it seems like Limmy Monaghan is not going to be too phased about it! HE’S GOING FOR ‘ULTIMATE DESPAIR’ – THE OVER-THE-SHOULDER CROSSFACE ON HIKARI KANNO, BUT HIKARI QUICKLY GETS ONE OF HER FEET ON THE BOTTOM ROPE! THAT’S WONDERFUL AWARENESS FROM ‘JAPAN’S JEWEL!’ LIMMY NEEDS TO RELEASE THE HOLD AS HE DOES THAT! LIMMY TAKES A STEP BACK AS HIKARI FINDS HER WAY BACK TO HER FEET! ‘SILENT WHISPER VII’ – THE SPINNING HEEL KICK, BUT HIKARI DUCKS THE MOVE AS LIMMY STUMBLES FORWARD! HIKARI LIFTS LIMMY UP FOR THE ‘BOOK OF THE END,’ BUT LIMMY SLIDES OFF THE SHOULDERS, GRABS HIKARI BY THE WAIST AND PUSHES HER TOWARDS THE HORIZONTAL SET OF ROPES! O’CONNOR ROLL WITH THE BRIDGE!
OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOO!!!!!
TTTTTTTT–
Jake Mercer: A kick out by Hikari Kanno as Limmy Monaghan gets back to his feet! Hikari is up to her feet shortly after – ‘Howitzer Impact!’ Hikari ducks the knee strike! She gets behind Limmy, arms wrapped around his waist and connects with a German suplex, but Limmy is able to land on his feet!! Hikari turns around as he goes for a forearm to Hikari, but Hikari ducks out of the way! She goes for a chopblock behind the knee of Limmy as that takes the bigger man down to his knees! Now, Hikari connects with a series of shoot kicks to the chest! One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six! Seven! Eight! Nine! Ten! Hikari goes for a final one–
Stew-O: BUT, LIMMY MONAGHAN DUCKS OUT OF THE WAY! HE GETS THAT LEG THAT HIKARI KANNO WAS KICKING HIM WITH AND GETS IT ON HIS SHOULDER! NOW, WE SEE HIKARI SAT ON LIMMY’S SHOULDER AS HE BEGINS TO STAND UP! ‘GOD OF DESTRUCTION’S WRATH’ – THE ONE-HANDED ELECTRIC CHAIR DRIVER ON HIKARI!
Flannery McCoy: HIKARI KANNO COUNTERS WITH A ROLL UP! IS SHE GOING TO SNEAK AWAY WITH THE VICTORY!??!
OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHHHRR–
Jake Mercer: NO! LIMMY MONAGHAN IS ABLE TO KICK OUT AS HE GETS TO HIS FEET QUICKLY AS HE STANDS BEHIND HIKARI KANNO! HIKARI GETS TO HER –
Stew-O: ‘EMPEROR’S EDGE’ – THE SPINNING ELBOW TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD AS THAT TAKES HIKARI KANNO DOWN! LIMMY MONAGHAN FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOO!!!!!!
TTTTTTTHHHHHHRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘King’s Dead’ is heard through the speakers once again as the crowd erupt. Limmy Monaghan is resting on his back after the well-fought battle.)
Stephie Love: THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH…LIMMY MONAGHAN!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: NOW, THAT WAS A MAIN EVENT THERE! I am completely blown away by the performances of these two Elitists. It was hard-hitting, competitive and I had no idea who was going to walk out as the winner! I’m completely shook!
Jake Mercer: Both of these Elitists pulled the stops to put the other down, but there was no kicking out after the ‘Emperor’s Edge.’ The last moments of the match had me on the edge of my seat! My goodness, Hikari Kanno. :wow: What can you say about that woman? She is the present and the future. Just like with Limmy Monaghan.
Stew-O: If you love professional wrestling, this was the match for you. Anarchy in the Arena will be a completely different story and that’s where you’ll see both Limmy Monaghan and Hikari Kanno. Limmy will lead Team Dynasty as Captain. Hikari will represent Team Voltage with Captain Drake King and Minerva. This main event left me more than excited for Anarchy in the Arena!
(Limmy Monaghan starts to pick himself up to his feet as the camera goes to Hikari Kanno who has her back against the barricade. She is surely disappointed of the loss, but it’s only going to fuel her to win at Territorial Invasion even more. Limmy is more than thrilled with the outcome as he celebrates inside the ring.)
