Voltage 8/12/23

Voltage 8/12/23

(EAW intro plays.)

(A recap is shown featuring last week’s Voltage, with started with the reveal that Bea Valentine had attacked Dray Fontana, injuring him. After this Ayu Megumi, Donovan Duke, Jamie O’Hara and Minerva would all be seen winning matches. TLA versus Michael S. Connor would end without a winner thanks to Champagne Charlie, Milli Banks and Jamie Cross would have a confrontation about Hardcore wrestling, Cameron Ella Ava would choose the stipulation for her match against Dr. Bethany Blue.)

(‘33rd Blakk Glass’ by ZilaKami & SosMula hits, and the camera fades over to the Braehead Arena in Renfrewshire, Scotland. The fans are all seen cheering loudly, and pyro shoots out as the camera fades to the commentary table where James Peters, Rich Russillo and Persephone Tsitsipas are seen.)

James Peters: Ladies and gentlemen… WELCOME BACK TO SUNDAY NIGHT VOLTAGE!

Rich Russillo: The FINAL Voltage before Bloodsport! Everyone is busy preparing for the first Voltage marquee event of the season, but we have some big matches tonight! We’re seeing a debuting Elitists in action tonight, and…

Persephone: That mess of a match in the main event.

James Peters: I wouldn’t call it a mess, but things could definitely get out of control there. I guess we’ll have to see soon enough though, as this show is now underway!

(Voltage fades over to the stage, and ‘Kashmir’ (Paratus Intro) by Led Zeppelin hits. The crowd would immediately explode into cheers, and before long, Jamie O’Hara would begin slowly walking out to the stage. Jamie doesn’t spend a very long time on the stage, but once he’s seen by the fans the cheers only grow even louder. Jamie has a calm and collected look on his face, and he begins to walk down the ramp as ‘Kashmir’ continues to play.)

James Peters: Jamie O’Hara and Jack Ripley have been going back and forth for weeks. We already knew that they’d be Bloodsport opponents and that they’d be facing in Sadistic Madness. We knew how these two Elitists felt about each other. However, things have taken a very interesting turn recently.

Rich Russillo: They definitely have. We now know that this match will have very high stakes in relation to Territorial Invasion, as the winner of the match will be the Captain of the Wargames team. Both Elitists have competed in brand supremacy matches in the past so they’d be huge additions to the team this year. It’ll be very exciting finding out who’ll actually get the spot, though.

Persephone: What? No it won’t. Why are these two even being considered for team Captain? There’s only ONE person on the roster fit to be a Captain, and I think you already know who that is.

James Peters: I’m not even going to entertain you right now. Jamie and Jack would both be great additions to the team. However, at this point I’m not sure either of them would put the other on their team should they become Captain.

(Jamie O’Hara walks around towards the timekeepers area, where he’s given a microphone. Jamie climbs up onto the apron afterwards before entering the ring, and once he does enter the ring he takes a few seconds before beginning to speak. He stares towards the cheering fans for a little while before turning and looking down at the mat, just shaking his head almost in disappointment before speaking.)

Jamie O’Hara: I’ve been with this company for years. I have seen it all, I have faced it all, and I have conquered it all. It’d take a miracle just to surprise me in this day and age, and yet one thing I still struggle to wrap my head around is the fact that there are people out there, people on television each and every week that willingly take the time out of their day to live the most pathetic lives possible. People such as Jack Ripley, who’ve already had their chance to rise to the very top of this industry after being given everything one could possibly ask for, and instead proved that they belong nowhere near those heights. Jack is a very special man in the sense that he’s been unremarkable for years through no one’s fault but his own, and yet he still had both the confidence and the desperation needed to try and use me as a stepping stone the same way he did back in 2020. I saved Jack’s career once and he expects me to do it again. Most people would avoid causing as predictable of a demise as possible for themselves, but not Jack. Somehow Jack still hasn’t learned. Somehow Jack is still capable of looking at me as a man he can defeat in order to prove himself, and that makes him special. Special in a way nobody should ever aspire to be. Special in a way that’ll lead him further down the road he’s been on for over two years now.

(The loud cheers continue, and Jamie pauses for only a few seconds before continuing.)

Jamie O’Hara: We’ve been doing this for a month and somehow Jack is still fooling himself. I don’t know who he expected to actually play along with this, but not once has he been able to deny who he is. Not once has he been able to deny the fact that his career has gone further and further downhill as time progressed and the only reason he believes he can defeat me is the fact that he did it once before… Three years ago. Jack is the kind of man that refuses to learn even through defeat, so it wouldn’t surprise me to see him gain nothing from his inevitable failure at Bloodsport. He won’t learn exactly why he could never compare to me even after his Answers World Championship win. He won’t learn why I can’t respect someone with the mindset that he has. He won’t learn a thing. Instead, he’ll leave Bloodsport with another setback and nothing more. He’ll leave Bloodsport with the same mindset he has now, the difference being that instead of attempting to use me for the sake of restoring the “Jack Ripley of the past”, he’ll be using whoever makes the mistake of giving him the time of day. Maybe it’ll be a Champion, or maybe Jack will look for someone else he has history with. Whatever the case may be, when our match is over I will be done with Jack Ripley.

(Jamie walks towards the edge of the ring, leaning against the ropes as he stares towards the fans in attendance. The look on his face hasn’t changed however, still clearly focused on Jack Ripley and the upcoming Bloodsport match.)

Jamie O’Hara: It’d be for the best if Jack didn’t appear. I’m sure hearing this will only further the confidence inside his twisted brain, and somehow convince him that this is a sign of fear or uncertainty, but for his sake it’d be best if he understood why this was really being said. I won’t lose to him, and not only will I not lose to Jack, but what happens at Bloodsport won’t even come close to meeting his expectations. He’s going to disappoint himself and he still has yet to realize it, but that’s his problem, and whatever he chooses to do with that problem is on him. He could save himself or he could go further down this road and continue to question why he can’t do anything right. It’s up to him, but ultimately we know exactly what decision he’ll make, and when the time comes for him to start asking those questions, I’ll have already moved on to Territorial Invasion.

(Almost immediately after Jamie finishes speaking, ‘Bounce Back’ by Big Sean hits. This causes more cheers to come from the crowd, and Jamie doesn’t look impressed at all as Jack Ripley begins to walk out. Jack is already holding a microphone of his own, and he walks down the ramp, staring directly at Jamie.)

James Peters: I don’t blame Jack for coming out here. He clearly doesn’t take too kindly to what Jamie had to say, but I hope these two remember that they’ll have to team up later. They’ve already torn each other apart lately, and I don’t know if they want to hurt their chances tonight.

Rich Russillo: To be fair, that kind of match is almost like a bomb. It’s only a matter of time until chaos ensues, though there’s no telling if it’ll be because of these two. With that in mind, I’m sure Jack at least wants to share his final thoughts before Bloodsport.

Persephone: And who asked him to do that? Does Jack think people actually want to see him? It’s bad enough Jamie wasted our time just to say that, I don’t want to see Jack, too.

(Jack Ripley walks up the steel steps, entering the ring as the two men stand in the center of the ring, face to face.)

Jack Ripley: You said it yourself, didn’t you? We’ve been doing this for a month. Do you think I haven’t thought about all this in that month? Do you think I haven’t had enough time to decide whether or not I made the right choice back when the season started? If I was ever going to back out or even show a single sign of regret, I would’ve done it already. I had week after week after week to do it. I had an entire month to decide what I wanted to do at Bloodsport, and I’ve already made that decision. I know what I’m doing Jamie, and it’s not my job to convince you of that. It’s not my job to force you to respect me, or to turn you into a fan of mine. My job is to defeat you, because THAT’S what I challenged you to do when the season started and when I leave the ring at Bloodsport I’ll have accomplished exactly that. This is why I kept coming out here week after week. This is why I didn’t have a problem when our match was revealed to be “Sadistic Madness”. This is why your refusal to show me even the slightest bit of respect hasn’t been enough to change anything for me. This is no mistake, and you won’t convince me otherwise.

(A smirk appears on Jamie’s face.)

Jamie O’Hara: Just as I thought.

Jack Ripley: Jamie, don’t lie to me. It didn’t matter what I said tonight, or on any night prior to tonight. You’ll think what you want regardless of what I say, and thanks to your limitless ego I’m going to send you home with what’ll be your third marquee loss in a row. This is what REALLY happened a few weeks ago, Jamie. I chose to challenge someone I know very well. Someone I have years of history with and someone who I’ve had both some of my highest highs against and some of my biggest losses. There’s no shame in me admitting that you’re someone who has always brought the best out of me, because you’re one of the names that’s on top of the business. You’ve been on top for a while now and that much can’t be denied, but when I’m beating you and moving on to become Captain of Voltage’s Wargames team, how long can you keep denying that I belong right up there too?

(Jamie chooses to remain silent, and Jack continues.)

Jack Ripley: I didn’t just pick a random name out of a hat to go and challenge. I didn’t just try knocking on doors before I walked out that night. I went out of my way to challenge you, and I don’t regret that decision. I know you want me to rethink my actions, and to believe that defeating you isn’t even possible, but that’s not going to happen. I’m not going to suddenly change my mind after an entire month of telling you what I’m going to do. I’m not going to regret my actions after spending each and every single week making it clear that I WANT this. If you want someone that’s easily going to lose all faith in themselves before they’ve even had the chance to be proven wrong, you’re talking to the wrong guy. Once this is all over you’ll see exactly why I did what I did, because my actions will have gotten me exactly where I needed to be-

Jamie O’Hara: As far as I’m concerned, you can watch Territorial Invasion from the stands.

(This causes a loud reaction from the crowd, as this time it’s Jack Ripley that goes silent.)

Jamie O’Hara: It’s been years since you were a valuable member of the EAW roster. Years since you actually contributed to whichever brand had the misfortune of taking you in. Voltage won’t be missing out when you’re unable to find a spot on the Wargames team, and that shouldn’t come as a surprise. Your beliefs can’t change reality and your career is living proof of that. At one point I’m sure you considered yourself one of the best wrestlers in the world, and yet that belief didn’t stop your career from falling down a downward spiral only achievable by those that didn’t belong at the top to begin with. You know very well just how miserable your career has been. You know that a victory like this is far out of your reach, but you can lie to yourself. Tell yourself everything you want to hear. That’s fine, because I’ll defeat you at Bloodsport regardless of what you believe.

Jack Ripley: You’re not taking this seriously, are you?

Jamie O’Hara: More than you deserve. Once this is over, your best decision would be to avoid challenging me ever again.

Jack Ripley: Right, because you expect Bloodsport to be a walk in the park. You think this will just be easy, as if I’m nothing more than another name on the roster. You think that the result of this match has already been decided, you probably thought it was already decided back when I challenged you in the first place. You think that I’m not a threat, and that’s going to be your undoing. Whether you believe it or not is on you Jamie, but we both know what I have to gain here. We both know just how serious I am about all this. I’m ready for Bloodsport, and when I say that I don’t just mean that I’m ready for a match against Jamie O’Hara. I don’t just mean that I’m ready for a performance people will be talking about for a week before moving on. I mean that I’m ready to beat you. You can keep treating me like a joke, and in turn I’ll do what supposedly takes a miracle by surprising you. You won’t expect what’s to come at Bloodsport Jamie. If you’re not careful, you might just be the one missing out on Wargames. You might just have to sit out of Territorial Invasion for the second year in a row.

(Jack Ripley stops speaking, and another loud reaction comes from the crowd as Jack and Jamie both stare directly at each other. There’s clear tension inside of the ring as neither man moves from their spot, and neither man says another word.)

James Peters: This match between Jack Ripley and Jamie O’Hara is without a doubt one you just can’t miss. We know what these two are capable of, but with the way things have heat up recently, along with both the reward for winning as well as the stipulation, I’m sure we’ll be seeing both men at their best.

Rich Russillo: I’m definitely looking forward to this one, and to be honest there’s no telling how this will go. We’ve heard everything Jack Ripley has said and we know he’s going to be on his A-Game at Bloodsport, but at the same time we also know what Jamie O’Hara is capable of.

Persephone: Right. Sounds like a real snoozefest to me. I’m glad Bloodsport is back, I couldn’t imagine having to watch this without weapons or blood involved.

James Peters: That’s ridiculous. This has all the tools to be one of the very best matches Bloodsport has to offer.

(The fans continue cheering on during the staredown between Jamie O’Hara and Jack Ripley. With the two men face to face in the last shot, Voltage fades away from ringside.)

(Promotional ad for Bloodsport, where Jack Ripley faces Jamie O’Hara in Sadistic Madness.)

(Voltage returns to ringside, fading towards the stage as ‘Footsteps of Doom’ by KOHTA YAMAMOTO hits. Cheers come from the crowd, and before long the EAW World Champion Drake King begins walking out. Drake has a huge grin on his face, and once he reaches the stage he stops and raises his EAW World Championship. He takes a little while to take in all of the cheers, before putting the EAW World Championship on his shoulder and beginning to walk down the ramp.)

James Peters: Drake King looks to be in a far better mood than he was in last week, and it’s probably because he had the chance to get some payback on Ruler, who cost him his match against Rex McAllister.

Rich Russillo: Drake isn’t scheduled to compete until later tonight, so he definitely has something planned for us right now. The question is what that actually is, because with Drake King you never really know what you’re going to get.

Persephone: I do. Disappointment, every single time. I think the only time I haven’t been bored watching Drake this season was his match against Rexy, which REX WON FAIR AND SQUARE I’d like to remind you.

(Drake receives a microphone from the timekeepers area before walking around and heading up the steel steps. As Drake enters the ring his music fades out, but he takes a minute to remain silent and allow the fans to keep cheering for him. He still has a smile on his face, and he waits patiently before eventually the cheers die down. Only then does Drake begin to speak.)

Drake King: I know you all couldn’t wait to see me tonight, and I don’t blame you! I’m not scheduled to compete until later on tonight and it’d just be unfair to keep you all waiting… SO HERE I AM! Now you all can stop worrying! You don’t have to wait an entire show to see the greatest wrestler on the planet, and you don’t have to wait all night just to see someone that’s actually worth the attention! I’m giving you all the chance to be blessed by my presence before I’m scheduled to compete, and that’s not for no reason. The reason I’m out here is actually very important, and it’s in regards to the upcoming marquee event, the one we’ve spent the entire month preparing ourselves for. Since the day Alex, Donovan and the other one challenged me, it was clear that Bloodsport would be special. However, I’m here to announce WHY it will be special! It’s not because it’ll be Voltage’s first marquee event of the season! It’s not because it’s the first Bloodsport since 2021! It’s because as of this moment, August 19th will now be known as DRAKE KING APPRECIATION DAY! :blessed:

(The fans cheer, and Drake seems to be pleased with the reaction to his announcement. He nods his head as he looks towards all of the fans in attendance, before continuing to speak.)

Drake King: I knew you’d all love this. To celebrate the first ever Drake King Appreciation Day, I’ll be disposing of not one, not two, but THREE amateurs who belong nowhere near a World Championship all in the same match! This will go down as one of the easiest matches of my career because not a single one of them pose even the slightest threat to me. Seriously, who should I actually be afraid of?? Who’s actually capable of taking this Championship from me?

(Drake stops and points the microphone towards the fans, as if he’s waiting for an answer. Multiple names come from the fans, who all yell out “Ruler”, “Donovan”, and “Alex”, but the look on Drake’s face doesn’t change as he pulls the microphone back.)

Drake King: Exactly, nobody! Nobody in this match will even come close to defeating me, so while you all watch yet another unmatched performance from yours truly, just take the time out of your day to celebrate the existence of your Lord and Savior, Drake King! I’m looking forward to this match just as much as the rest of you, and by the time it’s over I don’t think either of those three will make the mistake of disrespecting me again. I’m better than that, and you all deserve better than to watch the likes of Ruler, Alex and Donovan show their faces every week just for the sake of letting it be known just how much they despise their God! All I ever did for them was help them and give them the opportunity they were looking for, and they think that this is how they should repay me. Just you wait, everyone. August 19th will be my day, and it’ll be a day that you all will NEVER forget! Not because of any of my unremarkable opponents, but because of-

(Seconds later, before Drake King can allow the last of his words to flow out of his mouth like the end of a deep breath, he would be cut off in a move no doubt going to rub him the wrong way. ‘I Rise’ by Cory Marks would begin to blare through the speaker system, as the audience’s attention spins from Drake to the entrance way. Though Drake was cheered previously, the cheers would be returned to Donovan Duke as his entrance graphics begin to play on the titantron. The numerous symbols found on playing cards circle Donovan’s name, as he walks out through the curtains.)

James Peters: Well… who’s to say if that was the right move? :lupe:

Persephone: Oh trust me, I hope it isn’t! Wouldn’t it just be great if, for example, Donovan Duke and Drake King started to fight it out, we got more blood than a slasher flick, and they were both removed from next week’s match! For the drama, and the ratings of course. Good story. 😀

James Peters: Well, either way, here comes one of Drake King’s challengers ahead of Bloodsport, one of four actually, but Donovan being the one to interrupt rather than the rest is interesting to me. Seems less of his style, but that being said, it’s also reflective of his drive! First his loss to Jake, then Cash in the Vault – in the past few months he has just been fingertips away from what was bound to be a huge victory on his plate, a World Championship if not a guaranteed one. Donovan staking his claim here does not surprise me!

(Donovan Duke makes his way around the ring apron, as he climbs up onto the ring itself. Staring at Drake, he too with a microphone in hand, Donovan would enter the ring. Before long, as the two come face to face, and the crowd begins to die down, his theme song fades out, and a microphone is raised to his lips…)

Donovan Duke: Ahem…

Crowd: :lupe:

Donovan Duke: https://media.tenor.com/EYTyuMUs96IAAAAC/chad-gable-alpha-academy.gif

(And then, almost instantaneously, Donovan lights the crowd up once more. A comedic, exaggerated “shush” is bestowed upon Drake, as Donovan has a huge grin on his face.)

Donovan Duke: Now, Drake. As I said heading into Voltage last week; the way you see us is a little disrespectful. The way you view us, akin to that of a circus performance, is not how I wanted to see this going whatsoever when chasing my first World Championship. I didn’t have it with Jake. I’ve heard a lot of people saying “what he did to Donovan” but doing what he did to win, it doesn’t affect me. But I’m a big believer in respect. I’m also a big believer in MUTUAL respect. It doesn’t go one way. Me not getting that? That’s very low of you, Drake. Very low. I expected better from the World Champion. I wasn’t surprised, per se, but I expected a little better. You can talk about your “God” stuff, your holier than thou mindset, you can praise yourself as if you were a deity… but I’m not going to be made a mockery of. You can’t be upset at respect and not return it. That is just the policy that I live by. This nonsense has to stop. I’ll be the one that puts an end to it. You can have your DEDEDE win and your Barbed Wire Massacre, but after Bloodsport what you won’t have… is the EAW World Championship around your waist.

(Donovan Duke would smirk, as he lowers the microphone for just a second, allowing the comments to seep into Drake’s psyche. Part of him knew what the reaction would be… part of him said it for that same reason. He wanted Drake to know that he meant business, and if it meant “tugging on Superman’s cape” then so be it. Donovan’s grin continued, as he begins to raise the microphone a second time, looking to say even more things to Drake King.)

Donovan Duke: So as it stands, Drake, just between you and me, if there’s an-

(‘The Perfect Girl’ by Mareux hits, cutting Donovan Duke off. This causes loud boos to come from the crowd, but as Ruler walks out, he clearly couldn’t care less. He stares directly in the ring, where both Drake King and Donovan Duke are stood, and he doesn’t look pleased whatsoever. In fact, it’s clear that he’s furious following the events of last week’s Voltage. Ruler is holding a microphone, and wastes no time heading to the ring.)

James Peters: Here comes Ruler, and it’s safe to say that he has his fair share of issues with both of the men currently in the ring. After all, these past few weeks they’ve been at each other’s throats.

Rich Rusillo: That’s true. Drake and Ruler have cost each other matches, and Donovan and Ruler have been fighting for weeks.

Persephone: Right, and it’s been completely boring. Not one part of it has been interesting, especially given the fact that they’re all still alive.

(Ruler walks up the steel steps, and slowly enters the ring before looking at both Drake and Donovan. While it’s clear just how enraged he is, he is able to barely keep his composure as he slowly walks towards an empty corner of the ring. ‘The Perfect Girl’ fades out, and Ruler begins to speak.)

Ruler: For the two of you to walk out here and make all these grand promises, I’m not sure if it’s a greater sign of your ego or your lack of awareness. What were you two expecting, for me to just move on after what you did last week? Should I just ignore Drake’s influence over the result of my match against you Donovan? Better yet, should I play up to this “Drake King Appreciation Day” joke and ignore the fact that you have what I want and are making a fool out of yourself all while calling yourself “God”, Drake? What are you two really expecting to come out of this, because as far as I am concerned, you two have crossed me for the last time. You have had all the time in the world to make your statements, yet you choose the most cowardly ways possible. How can anyone take you seriously, let alone watch Bloodsport in hopes that you’re able to leave as EAW World Champion, when every single time you walk out here you embarrass yourselves? You two have done enough to show your true colors, all while I made my message clear at the very start of the season.

(This receives more of a negative reaction, and Donovan Duke goes to interrupt, but Ruler quickly cuts him off.)

Ruler: What could you possibly have to say for yourself, Donovan? What excuse have you come up with this time? I don’t need to hear another word from either of you. There’s only one reason I’m out here, and no it’s not to celebrate a made up holiday that’ll be cancelled the second our match is over next week. I’m out here to make sure you two understand this, you won’t get in my way at Bloodsport the way you have for the last few weeks. You won’t continue to be a thorn in my side. I’ll dispose of you two, and I’ll become the EAW World Champion.

(Following this, ‘Soundtrack 2 My Life’ by Kid Cudi would begin to play through the speakers, and once again, everyone directs their attention towards the entrance way yet again. The cheers rain down once more, as the white, red and blue graphics reading “Guardian Angel” above Alex Myers’ name display on the titantron – Alex Myers themself walking out through the curtains, dressed in a suit covered in what appears to be their own personalized DIY paint. Customized to fit their own personality. Alex Myers begins to walk down the ramp, looking straight into the ring.)

James Peters: Well… now they’re all here! Drake, Donovan, Ruler and now Alex; each and every competitor set to compete at the Bloodsport main event is about to be in the ring, and there’s only one way this could all end. They’re all set to face off against one another next week, they’re all about to be at each others throats – this may be the last time they all see each other face to face!

Rich Russillo: Alex Myers coming out last, they know this. I wouldn’t be surprised, knowing their mindset, if they WANTED to come out last. If they WANTED to walk down that ramp seeing all three of their competitors standing in the ring, almost as if they’re visualizing exactly what they’re about to go up against. Isn’t that right Persephone my love! 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍

Persephone: The last person I’d agree with is a film bro theatre kid.

(Alex Myers would slowly walk up the steel steps, as they slide across the apron. Looking inside, they see all of their opponents – for their time being, their enemies. Both past and present. Rich Russillo was right. They’re taking a long hard look at who they’re set to face, who they HAVE to beat. This was mental mindgames, to strengthen their own prep. Alex would walk into the ring, and do just as the likes of Donovan and Ruler have. They take a corner. Slowly, circling Drake, they take the furthest corner from the entrance way. Drake, on the other hand, remains. He’s far too above them to stand equally. ‘Soundtrack 2 My Life’ fades out, as Alex raises a microphone.)

Alex Myers: I heard what everyone had to say. To be honest, I know just how talented everyone is. Across my journey in this company, I’ve been forced into a position where… if I don’t acknowledge it? If I don’t have that mindset? It’s detrimental to my failure. I know so many in the back would take the easy route. Slander you all and hype themselves up, but I cannot do that. Not to myself or any of you. Donovan, you know how I feel about you. I won a match you didn’t a few months back at Reasonable Doubt, but I know it took myself and Holly Arrow to do it. You’re tough. But that title is not coming to you. Same for you, Ruler. You practically removed me from the CITV match with your black mist… but again. Not happening. And the same is for you, Drake. You’re not “God” to me, I think everyone here has told you that, and I know your ego might not be able to handle it. Your ego might have just shattered right in front of your eyes, right? Your ego must be hurting. But personally? I couldn’t care less. As much as I can acknowledge your talent, you have to acknowledge mine. I will win.

Alex Myers: You won’t stop me, Ruler. You won’t stop me, Donovan. Neither will you. You’re an all timer, Drake, but you’re nigh invincible. I’m going to expose that, and I’m going to be the one that puts an end to all of this “I am God” “I am very good at Barbed Wire Massacre” bull.

(Alex Myers lowers the microphone, as all three competitors look at one another… then Drake. The man standing in the center of it all.)

Drake King: :mjlol: Anyways, Drake King Appreciation Day! :blessed:

(Collectively, all three challengers for the EAW World Championship look even more annoyed.)

Alex Myers: It really is unfortunate knowing that we’ll have to work with someone with an ego like yours. We all know how this is going to go. The three of us will have to do the heavy lifting because you’re too busy thinking about how great you are to focus on what actually matters. You’re overconfident, and that overconfidence already allowed Ruler to blindside you and cost you against Rex McAllister. What will happen at Bloodsport when you’re in the ring with people that want to take you down? What will happen when you have nowhere to run or hide, and you’re forced to fight to keep that title?

Drake King: I’ll win, obviously.

Alex Myers: :francis: And there it is. We’ll see, Drake. Once I take that Championship from you, you won’t be the one laughing.

Donovan Duke: There’s no point trying to argue with him, and besides, I can’t say I completely agree with you, Alex. We won’t be on the same page tonight. We haven’t been on the same page once in the past month. We can try but ultimately things will break down whether it’s before the match, during it or after. The only question is whether it’s the Champion himself, or Ruler. Either way I’ll be prepared for whatever happens tonight, just like I’ll be ready to become the EAW World Champion at Bloodsport. I just hope you can say the same for yourself, because right now you’re the only person in this match who I don’t want to punch in the face right now.

(Ruler can’t help but begin to laugh hearing this.)

Ruler: So that’s where this is going? Donovan, did you forget what would’ve happened last week in the event that Drake didn’t get involved?

Donovan Duke: We don’t know what would’ve happened because it did happen. Whether either of us likes it or not that’s the truth, but that doesn’t mean I’m content with it, especially knowing we’ll be opponents again soon enough.

Ruler: We’ll be opponents again in a week but we can settle this right now.

(Ruler turns towards Alex before continuing.)

Ruler: You might as well stay out of this, just like you have for the past few weeks. I’ll take out everyone in this ring if that’s what’s necessary to make the message clear, so as a friend, don’t add yourself to the list.

Alex Myers: You keep bringing up the fact that we’re friends, but it hasn’t stopped us from being opponents before. One of us will win at Bloodsport, and it won’t be you.

Ruler: What makes you so sure?

Alex Myers: Why wouldn’t I be sure? I’ve had so much time to prepare for this, and I have experience with every single person in this match, especially you. Not only am I ready for this, but I’m more ready than I’ve ever been before. This is my time to become World Champion, and I won’t let you get in the way of that. Not at Bloodsport, and not before Bloodsport either.

Drake King: You three are still going? Don’t you get tired of arguing over something so nonsensical?? NONE of you are winning this match, so why don’t you start thinking about something that actually concerns you… Like “who will get pinned in the fatal four way?”

Donovan Duke: I’m not worried about something like that, but Drake I think you know as well as the rest of us just how big of a target you have on your back. If you’re not careful, it may very well be you taking the fall.

Drake King: You think so? You can try if you want, but if you think you can defeat me that decisively, you may have accidentally answered the question for me. After all, it’s not like you’ve ever been capable of posing a threat to me. I’ve beaten you every single time we’ve crossed paths. The same goes to Alex, and soon Ruler will share that honor with-

(And then…)

James Peters: BUT RULER HAS HEARD ENOUGH! A HUGE BICYCLE KICK TO DRAKE KING’S JAW TAKES HIM RIGHT DOWN TO THE MAT, AS HIS WORLD TITLE FLIES OUT OF HIS GRASP! WHAT WAS INITIALLY A BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN THESE FOUR HAS NOW SPIRALLED OUT OF CONTROL!

Rich Russillo: BUT HE’S NOT JUST DONE WITH DRAKE! DRAKE FALLS TO A KNEELING BASE, AS RULER IMMEDIATELY LEAPS FOR DONOVAN! HE CONNECTS WITH A HUGE FOREARM TO DONOVAN’S HEAD, AS THE TWO BEGIN TO SCRAMBLE ON THE ROPES! THIS ALL FLASHED BEFORE DONOVAN AND HE DIDN’T EXPECT IT, BUT HE’S TRYING TO FIGHT BACK HERE!

James Peters: BUT DON’T FORGET ALEX MYERS AS THEY JOIN THE FRAY TOO! ALEX LEAPS OVER DRAKE BEFORE GRABBING RULER, AND CONNECTING WITH PUNCHES OF THEIR OWN! ALL THREE OF THEM ARE BRAWLING IN THE CORNER RIGHT NOW! RIGHTS AND LEFTS BEING TRADED… BEFORE RULER STUMBLES INTO THE CORNER!

Rich Russillo: TENSIONS FLY HERE, AS DESPITE THE RESPECT BEING HELD BETWEEN THESE TWO ELITISTS – DONOVAN AND ALEX NOW FIGHT ONE ANOTHER! DONOVAN THROWS A ‘DEALER’S CHOICE’ SPINNING BACKFIST, BUT ALEX DUCKS UNDERNEATH… PELE KICK TO DONOVAN!

James Peters: BUT HERE COMES DRAKE WITH A SUPERKICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD! ALEX MYERS GOES DOWN, AS DRAKE REJOINS THE BATTLE! ALEX DROPS DOWN, AND DRAKE STEPS OVER THEM, LOOKING TO GO AFTER RULER AS REVENGE FOR WHAT HE DID! DRAKE HITS A KNEE TO THE GUT, BEFORE GOING TO HIT THE ROPES… ‘JUDGEMENT DA-’

Rich Russillo: ‘DUKE OF HAZARD’!!! HE HAS DRAKE UP ON HIS SHOULDERS FOR A FIREMAN’S CARRY BACK-TO-BELLY PILEDRIV-

James Peters: ALEX MYERS PULLS DRAKE OFF, AND CONNECTS WITH SUDDEN TRAUMA ON DONOVAN DU-

Rich Russillo: NO! DONOVAN HOLDS THEM UP IN MID AIR, AND THROWS THEM FORWARD… LEAPING FOOT STOMP FROM RULER! ALEX MYERS IS WINDED ON THE FLOOR!

James Peters: BUT NOW DONOVAN CONNECTS WITH A HUGE JAWBREAKER LARIAT ON RULER, THE SAME HE HIT ON JOSO AT PAIN FOR PRIDE! ALEX AND RULER ARE OUT, AS DONOVAN GETS BACK TO HIS FEET AND TURNS-

Rich Russillo: RIPCORD KNEE FROM DRAKE KING! DONOVAN DUKE IS OUT, AS DRAKE STUMBLES FORWARD HOLDING ONTO HIS JAW! REACHING THE CORNER, HE TURNS AROUND!

(Drake, holding onto his jaw, looks back at the ring as the rest of the competitors are slowly recovering. Some were hit with big moves, but they’re fresh, and it isn’t enough to keep them down. Not in the slightest. All four of them begin to pull themselves up in the corner.)

Persephone: YESSSS! CHAOS!

James Peters: ALL FOUR OF THEM STARE ONE ANOTHER DOWN! ALL FOUR OF THEM LOOK TO FIGHT! AND THEY RUSH-

Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

(But immediately, security finally reaches the ring. They sprint down, and begin to hold back the competitors from doing any more damage.)

James Peters: THANK GOD! THIS MADNESS HAS FINALLY COME TO AN END!

(But the crowd are NOT happy. All four Elitists are trying to kick their way out of their grasp, but it isn’t working. They’re all detained in the corners they’re in. The shot flying above the ring, showcasing everyone in it. More importantly, the EAW World Championship lying in the center. Every Elitist in one corner is fighting for it. It quite literally hangs in between all of them. Laying there, glistening – the prize they’re sought after.)

James Peters: This is madness.

(And indeed, he was right. As the Championship lays on its lonesome, each Elitist aside from Drake King is escorted out of the ring, being forced to exit at numerous different exits. Through the crowd, up the ramp. The security has finally broken it up.)

( As the camera’s panned back into the Braehead Arena, we return from commercial to the backstage area; where we see a joyful Sofia Clarke at the ready with a mic in hand, set for a backstage interview tonight as she waited for the greenlight; staring down the lens fo the camera, as she cleared her throat; her smile opening up as she began to speak. )

Sofia Clarke: Hello EAW and Voltage Universe! I am of course your backstage correspondent Sofia Clarke here, and today I get the honor yet again; to talk with one of Voltage’s HOTTEST stars of the month, a woman who will be challenging Milli Banks for the Specialist’s Championship in what is a Taipei Deathmatch; everyone, please give a warm welcome at this time . . . Jamie Cross!

( Slowly, the camera zoomed out; Sofia taking a slight step to the left as she looked off screen, as slowly Jamie Cross entered the frame; a slight smile on her face as she nodded to Sofia. )

Jamie Cross: Pleasure to be here.

Sofia Clarke: Pleasure to have you! Glad to see you’re looking and feeling good today, as well as accepting this time with me.

Jamie Cross: You know no matter how I feel, I’d never reject a little interview; no biggie! Besides, I know the questions I’m certain you have need answers, so go ahead, throw em’ at me Sofia.

Sofia Clarke: Well I’m glad you’re ready, because I am too.

( Sofia nodded. )

Sofia Clarke: Jamie, I am sure you are aware first hand at how seriously Milli Banks is taking your match at Bloodsport very seriously. I of course believe you’re reciprocating that intensity in your training, though my question for you tonight is… Knowing now that your match is going to be stipulated under Taipei Deathmatch rules; as it’s settled in your mind, how do you feel about such a brutal stipulation?

Jamie Cross: Oh, Sofia . . . Do I like it? Well, not in the slightest. I don’t usually go ahead and punch things with glass shards dug into my hand – but then again? I don’t think anyone does. I don’t think anyone enjoys such acts of brutality, but guess what? I’m going to do what I need to do, to BECOME Champion here.

( Jamie says, though she hesitates for a moment. )

Jamie Cross: Although, I’d be lying if I said I still wasn’t unsure about this whole thing.

Sofia Clarke: Unsure? :lupe:

Jamie Cross: Yeah. I mean, you really have to do your research to know how insane and BRUTAL that the Taipei Deatmatch can be. No matter what you do, if I hit her; or she hits me – It’s gonna hurt. And knowing that? It deflates me. I’m not used to it, I’ve never been the type to go through those extremities in the match, and I’d hope that I would never be used to matches like these; but I see where I am. I know where I’ve been drafted to, and I am well aware that Voltage is not a soft brand; it’s hard hit action at all times, and that means stipulations like these? This might be as easy as it gets. Next week I might go through an ACTUAL deathmatch where only one person can walk out, and if I’m the one dying – I guess I have to suck it up, right?

Jamie Cross: It’s not my thing, I’m very out of my depth – and looking at how comfortable Milli is within the confines of this environment? Yeah, it’s intimidating. It’s worrying. It’s nerve-racking knowing that she can go to unseen lengths, be so creative around the ideology of this match-type and I am like a newborn baby to it all, I … I have a lot to thinking to do; and I’ve already DID a lot of thinking, Sofia.

Jamie Cross: It’s gonna suck… But I’m gonna have to push. I’m going to have to prosper – I’m going to have to pull out all of my witts, all of my talents; and I’m going to have to raise Hell. Milli Banks is going to be in her element, so I’m just going to have to play into that… Somehow. Because no matter what? I’m not quitting. No matter what I’m not backing down, and no matter what I’m going to have to SURVIVE. It’s survival of the fittest, right? I’ve been in the weight room; I’d say I am VERY fit… Just gotta be fitter than her.

Sofia Clarke: I see… So you’d do all of this, for that Specialist’s Championship? That’s how much that Championship means to you?

Jamie Cross: Honestly… Yes. People like to sit here and say the Specialist’s Championship is a Secondary Title, but . . . I just don’t see it that way. I mean look at all the recent work horses who held it! Harper Lee, Miku Sakai, Aria, Serenity Valdez, Milli Banks… I want to be there. It’s a movement of strong women who are uplifting a title into the caliber of the World Title scene; and I need to be there. I need to do it for me, I need to do it for Madison. I need to do it for the little girls in the front row with the Jamie Cross merchandise on who want to do this one day; I have so many people on my back, so much to prove and just to drop all of that simply because I’m a bit scared? That’s not my character. That’s not who I want to be, and that’s not who I am going to be.

Jamie Cross: Milli Banks, all credit to her, is one of the business’s best. And I am sure she’s trying to preach that same exact message to the ones who are interested in this business; just in a different way. I can respect her for putting on for US, and we can both do that together – but no matter what there is only ONE title. There can only be ONE Champion, and I NEED that to be me. Matter of fact, it WILL be me!

( Jamie says, shaking her head in confidence; a passionate look in her eyes. )

Jamie Cross: I don’t know how many more opportunities like this i’ll get, not just for Bloodsport; but to stand here. To talk to you, to have a platform to speak my mind and be HEARD. I don’t want to waste it. I don’t know what is there at the end of the road, and I’m not ready for it to hit it’s end; so I need to not just survive, no – we’re past survival of the fittest; I NEED TO THRIVE! Thrive in each and every environment I’m thrown into, so then? Then I can sit atop the world and know that I DID IT. Bloodsport… Bloodsport I’m going through Hell, so be it. All I know is that when I emerge from the other side, I’m emerging from the other side with a Specialist’s Championship around my waist; because my arms will be WAY too bloody and it’d stain the straps!

Sofia Clarke: We do love a woman who prioritizes cleanliness, after all.

Jamie Cross: Cleanliness, Sanitization, and Winning. I’m winning at Bloodsport. I’m walking in a challenger, and out a CHAMPION. Milli Banks is going to be the fight of my life but I am going to be the END to her reign, and the beginning to my own. That? That is a promise, Sofia. I promise that after Bloodsport, you’re going to be standing right there; and I’ll be standing right here, and in that moment? You’ll be announcing me as the NEW Specialist’s Champion of the WORLDDDDDD!!! Like a nice ol’, fairytale ending.

( Sofia chuckled to herself at Jamie’s response. )

Sofia Clarke: Well you know what? I’d be happy to do that for you –

( Sofia stopped, looking off screen behind Jamie who began to analyze Clarke’s facial expression, Cross’s face slowly begin to deflate from a smirk as she turned around, and behind her was? None other than Milli Banks, a grin as she just nodded her head; a smug look on her face. )

Milli Banks: Guess we’ll see about all that soon, won’t we?

( Milli said, both Cross and Banks sharing a look for it a moment, before Milli slowly began to walk away from the interview; confidence pouring down her from the small amount of screen time she had, as she rocked the Specialist’s Championship around her waist; the camera following her only for a moment before turning back to Jamie and Sofia, as Cross returned her gaze to the interviewer. )

Jamie Cross: Got anything else for me, Sofia?

Sofia Clarke: No thank you, I appreciate you time; have a good rest of your day, Jamie… Good luck.

( Jamie smiled warmly toward Sofia, before nodding. )

Jamie Cross: Thanks, see you in a bit.

( Jamie said, slowly beginning to back track away from the interview as the camera slowly panned back in towards Sofia, who stared off screen at Jamie walking away; as the scene began to fade for the moment, a brief commercial break taking place as Voltage began to reset for some in-ring action up next. )

(Promotional ad for Bloodsport, where Jamie Cross faces Milli Banks for the Specialists Championship in a Taipei Deathmatch.)

( Sunday Night Voltage returns with the crowd settling in for the upcoming match. ‘The World Is Mine’ by Mikey Rykus starts playing, evoking a mixed reaction from the audience as Korey Gaines emerges. He appears quite relaxed tonight. Korey waves to the crowd before proceeding to make his way down to the commentary booth, joining the Voltage commentary team. )

Bella Braxton: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, PLEASE WELCOME, A GUEST COMMENTARY!… KOREY GAINES!

Rich Russillo: Hey Korey, how it’s going man?

Korey Gaines: Good, thank you. Appreciate to be here. Can’t wait to watch this match anymore.

Persephone: Ew. Do we really need to have this guy in the commentary booth? He already reeks, has he even taken a shower?

Korey Gaines: I did, Persephone. I did.

Persephone: Shut up, no one asked you.

Korey Gaines: Okay.

( ‘Aerials’ by System of a Down starts playing, prompting a loud chorus of boos from the crowd miles away, as Mr. Wrestling XIX makes his entrance. Mr. Wrestling XIX retains his cool appearance as he proceeds down the aisle towards the commentary booth. Mr. Wrestling XIX comes to a halt and glances at Korey Gaines, who is also present. He then grabs the chair provided by one of the staff members around the ring. He places his chair not too far from Korey’s and takes a seat right next to him to begin watching the match. )

Bella Braxton: AND HIS COMMENTARY PARTNER!… MR. WRESTLING XIX!

Rich Russillo: It’s a pleasure to have you here too, Mr. Wrestling XIX! Hey, I actually checked out your website today. Could you perhaps feature me on the page as the handsome Voltage commentator?

Mr. Wrestling XIX: Thanks, and ahaha…. no.

Rich Russillo: :mjcry:

Persephone: Hey, what do you think about Rex?!

Mr. Wrestling XIX: Does that have anything to do with this match?

Korey Gaines: Ugh, you’re already quite annoying. The match is about to start. Can we please keep it down a little bit?

Mr. Wrestling XIX: I do what I please, you moron.

Korey Gaines: :comeagain:

( ‘Good 4 u’ by Olivia Rodrigo blares through the PA system as the crowd continues to boo. Valerie Hellstorm emerges with a big grin on her face, exuding her usual confidence for the upcoming match. Valerie skips down the ramp, her head held high. As she approaches the ringside, she glances down at Kroey and Mr. Wrestling XII before heading into the ring. )

Bella Braxton: INTRODUCING FIRST!… FROM HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA!… WEIGHING IN AT 135 POUNDS!… ‘THE INEVITABLE FUTURE’ !!!!… VALERIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!… HELLSTORMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!

Rich Russillo: Here she is, the Inevitable Future! She has her match scheduled tonight against the newest signee to the Voltage roster, Mia Santoro! We have a lot to look forward to, but tonight, we will be focusing on whether Valerie will gain some more confidence before heading into Bloodsport on August 19th!

James Peters: Valerie Hellstorm has been on a roll ever since she made her EAW debut back in the last season. She’s entering the new season with fresh goals and all, perhaps her ambition and motivation will fuel her drive to clinch the unique opportunity in the very near future.

Korey Gaines: You know, after she handed me a reality check some time ago… she might just have a few tricks up her sleeve when we cross paths again down the road.

Mr. Wrestling XIX: I couldn’t care less about her. She was on the fast track to getting utterly demolished when I went up against her. She may call herself the Inevitable Future, but I don’t foresee any kind of future for her in the slightest. You witnessed it firsthand when you lost embarrassingly to her, and you’ve managed to continue being one of the biggest idiots I’ve ever encountered in my entire life. Good job.

Korey Gaines: Are you done yet?

Persephone: Just shut up and watch the match, oh my god.

( ‘Too Old to Die Young’ by Brother Dege takes over Valerie’s theme music, and Mia Santoro makes her entrance into a mixed reaction from the crowd this time, a departure from Valerie’s reception. Mia locks eyes with Valerie, who’s been waiting for her in the ring. Mia smirks a bit, striding confidently toward the ring, exuding readiness for her EAW debut here tonight. )

Bella Braxton: HER OPPONENT!… MAKING HER EAW DEBUT!… FROM KEY WEST, FLORIDA!… WEIGHING IN AT 115 POUNDS!… ‘LA DESPERADA’ !!!!!!!!… MIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…. SANTOROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Rich Russillo: Making her EAW debut tonight, Mia Santoro! Our latest addition to the Voltage roster is stepping into the ring against none other than Valerie Hellstorm, a rising star in our midst. So, essentially, we have a newcomer facing off against a more established one.

James Peters: Mia is set to square off against Valerie Hellstorm tonight, so we’re essentially going to see whether Mia can steal Valerie’s spotlight and make a strong impact in her debut match. On the other hand, will Valerie gain more momentum by securing a victory against Mia Santoro here? Let’s find out NOW!

( DING DING DING! )

James Peters: Mia Santoro is making her debut tonight against our rising star, Valerie Hellstorm! Valerie has her match upcoming at Bloodsport, so this is going to be quite a match where she will gain some confidence before heading into the FPV. Tonight, we have Kroey Gaines and Mr. Wrestling XIX joining us for the match. These two will be fighting each other, as well as Valerie, at Bloodsport for the Unique Opportunity.

Rich Russillo: Now, let me ask the two of you: how prepared are you for the match at Bloodsport?

Korey Gaines: You know… life hasn’t been easy, and winning this match is one of those things that could really help give me the boost I need to prove these people wrong.

Mr. Wrestling XIX: Wah wah wah, so annoying to hear you whining already. Just sit there still and shut up. Here’s the thing, Rich—

Korey Gaines: Hey! You’ve beaten me before, but it’s all good! I’m coming for you at Bloodsport, and there won’t be any unique opportunity in your hands!

Persephone: Why do we even invite these two crying babies to our commentary booth again?

Mr. Wrestling XIX: Anyway, Rich, I’ll save the answer to your question for later. For now, let’s enjoy this match instead of arguing with this insolent brat.

James Peters: That’s right, guys! We’ve got a match going on right now! Mia Santoro starts stepping out of the corner as she approaches Valerie swiftly, engaging her in a collar and elbow tie-up and quickly transitioning into a headlock of her own! Valerie takes a step forward, sending Mia towards the ropes and rebounding off, wrenching the headlock. Mia runs across the ring to the opposite side, bouncing off, and Valerie times it well with a shoulder tackle! Valerie then dashes back to the ropes, and as Mia rolls to both knees and slides underneath her, Valerie skips over her, sprinting towards the ropes and rebounding off. Mia anticipates her return and leapfrogs over Valerie, but Valerie grabs her from behind, rolling her up instead!

Korey Gaines: Woah! Mia kicked out so quickly!

Mr. Wrestling XIX: Of course. The match just started.

Rich Russillo: Both women scramble back to their feet. Valerie looks to execute her earlier ‘V-Trigger’ Bicycle Knee Strike! Mia sidesteps, grabbing her arm and taking both shoulders to the ground! Mia goes for a roll-up this time, but Valerie quickly kicks out as well!

James Peters: Valerie pops back up to her feet, and as Mia gets up too, she pushes Valerie all the way back to the ropes, sending her flying across the ring. Valerie rebounds off the ropes, Mia leaps up, and with a Step Up Enzuigiri, she sends Valerie staggering back! Valerie holds her face and marches right back toward Mia, who leaps in and plants her with A CUTTER! THE CUTTER CONNECTS! MIA GOES FOR THE COVER!

Korey Gaines: Nice Cutter! Go, girl!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Rich Russillo: Valerie Hellstorm kicks out!

James Peters: That Cutter Mia delivered definitely dealt a significant blow to Valerie! It looks like Mia might be aiming to finish the match early against Valerie. What can Valerie do to avoid this situation?

Korey Gaines: Mia is fast and she’s been impressive in the ring so far. Reminds me of a talented female wrestler I know from New Jersey with a similar level of skill.

Mr. Wrestling XIX: I’m sure your friend must deeply regret having you as their companion.

Persephone: :mjlol:

Korey Gaines: :wtf:

James Peters: Mia swiftly helps Valerie back up to her feet, but Valerie rolls to the side and clutches her neck after that impactful Cutter. Mia identifies her target attempting to take an escape route, moving towards the apron, and she’s now in hot pursuit of Valerie. Valerie rolls back into the ring Mia closely following, but Valerie halts her progress by stomping on her as she tries to enter! Valerie isn’t allowing Mia any chance to strike her again at the moment!

Rich Russillo: Mia simply walked right into the trap that Valerie set up. Now Valerie hoists her off the canvas, sending her rolling onto the mat with a snapmare. She then applies a headlock to keep her opponent grounded. Valerie seems to have devised a more effective strategy in this phase of the match, managing to slow down Mia’s pace. Mia now has to figure out how to counter Valerie’s approach.

Korey Gaines: That’s actually a smart tactic by Valerie.

Mr. Wrestling XIX: Yeah, you should probably learn them as well, considering your wrestling performance has been pretty lackluster lately.

Korey Gaines: You seem quite fixated on me, huh?

Mr. Wrestling XIX: If you could just keep quiet and refrain from boasting about things we all know, then maybe I wouldn’t need to criticize you, you idiot.

James Peters: Valerie gains more control in this match, with Mia being trapped in a headlock. The window of opportunity has been left open for her there. Valerie maintains her opponent down on the ground with a headlock, while Mia is still struggling, trying to find a way to escape. Mia attempts to find a way out using both hands, pulling those arms off her neck, but the more effort she puts in, the tighter the hold gets right now.

Rich Russillo: Valerie has to be more tactical in this match because it’s obvious Valerie didn’t want to lose any of her momentum before going into Bloodsport soon for the Unique Opportunity, while Mia Santoro also didn’t want to let this debut match slip through her hands. Mia keeps on struggling and is still far from done, but Valerie now begins letting go of her, stomping right onto her back, then dropping to both knees, and now trying to choke her out with a Sleeper Hold instead! Valerie might be looking to put her opponent to sleep sooner!

James Peters: Oh wait, look at Mia! She slips her head out of Valerie’s opponent’s arms just before the hold is applied… Mia drops to the ground, taking down both legs of Valerie! Valerie’s face lands right on the ground. Mia rolls back and now begins grabbing her, quickly putting her in a chin lock instead! Valerie is locked in, Mia releases her and changes her focus to the arm as she goes for the armbar on Valerie Hellstorm’s side!

Persephone: This match is very slow and shouldn’t even be on the card. In fact, this match shouldn’t even happen at all. I’d even prefer Rex to be wrestling tonight rather than watching these two morons running around and doing nothing.

Rich Russillo: Mia now bringing Valerie off the ground back with her and now starting to jam her fist right into her jaw! Valerie being released, she staggers away back towards the ropes, holding her chin. Mia approaches Valerie again, throwing a forearm across her jaw, seizing her wrist and sending her flying to the ropes behind her. Mia prepares to take down Valerie with a Dropkick!

James Peters: DROPKICK HITTING NOTHING AS VALERIE SIDESTEPS AS MIA GOES FOR THE MOVE! MIA FALLS FLAT TO THE GROUND, BUT SHE ROLLS ABOUT TO HER FEET. VALERIE APPROACHES HER, SEIZING HER AND TRYING TO DROP HER HALFWAY INTO A SLEEPER HOLD! MIA GRABS HER ARM AND SENDS VALERIE ROLLING DOWN ONTO THE GROUND ONTO HER ROUND. VALERIE POPS BACK UP ON HER FEET AND TURNING BACK AROUND, CHARGES BACK TOWARDS MIA WITH A CLOTHESLINE! MIA COUNTERS WITH A KICK! VALERIE TAKES A KICK AND SHE SPRINGS RIGHT BACK INTO ANOTHER ATTEMPT OF A DISCUS CLOTHESLINE!

Rich Russillo: A KICK IS BEING DELIVERED TO THE ARM OF VALERIE HELLSTORM, BUT SHE KEEPS UP WITH HER DILIGENCE! VALERIE TRIES ONCE AGAIN! MIA DUCKS UNDERNEATH THE ARM AND GOES RIGHT BEHIND VALERIE, SEIZING HER AND PLANTING HER QUICKLY WITH A SAITO SUPLEX!

Korey Gaines: LOOK AT THAT STRENGTH! WHAT IS THIS WOMAN MADE OF?! VALERIE DOESN’T EVEN LOOK LIKE SHE JUST TOOK THE SUPLEX! THAT’S CRAZY!

Mr. Wrestling XIX: The newcomer may be giving Valerie a run for her money, which says everything that needs to be said about Valerie.

James Peters: Valerie springs back up promptly as she closes in on Mia from the rear, swiftly trying a German Suplex to bring down Mia Santoro. Mia counters adeptly, her feet firmly planted, moving in and slipping behind Valerie. She locks in on Valerie’s head, tucking it beneath her arm!… DRAGON SLEEPER! MIA LOCKS IN THE DRAGON SLEEPER!

Korey Gaines: Great submission hold! I’m already enamored with this woman’s talent! I thoroughly enjoy watching this type of action, so I’m delighted to be here!

Mr. Wrestling XIX: Enjoy it while it lasts.

Korey Gaines: Hey, if you don’t stop annoying me one more time, I’m going to knock your ass out right here right now.

Mr. Wrestling XIX: Go on for all I care. Your threats don’t bother me, you filthy-

Persephone: AH! WHAT THE HELL?

( Korey tosses his headset aside and knock’s Mr. Wrestling XIX’s headset off of his head. James and Rich are left a bit bewildered by the sudden turn of events. Korey shakes his head, staring at him. Mia releases Valerie, who falls to the ground, and watches as Mr. Wrestling quickly stands up and stares at Korey. )

James Peters: Well….

Rich Russillo: I think you really pushed him to his limits, man.

( Mr. Wrestling XIX looks frustrated, however he doesn’t make a move. Instead he shakes his head, then exits the commentary booth on his own. Mr. Wrestling XIX walks to ringside and glances at Mia and Valerie, but he doesn’t take any action. He simply heads to the backstage area without delay, leaving the two of them watching him leave as Korey takes a seat and puts his headset back on. )

Korey Gaines: Sorry about that.

Persephone: What a bunch of losers.

James Peters: I think that’s essentially what happens when you make fun of someone and they decide they don’t want to engage anymore. ANYWAY, WE STILL HAVE ACTION GOING ON AND IT CONTINUES NOW! MIA ROLLS UP VALERIE FROM BEHIND, AND SHE’S AIMING TO STEAL A WIN! MIA GOES FOR A ROLL-UP!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

James Peters: VALERIE KICKS OUT!

Rich Russillo: MIA WAS ON THE VERGE OF ALMOST STEALING A WIN AS SHE QUICKLY GATHERED HER FOCUS BACK ON THE MATCH! SHE REGAINS HER FOOTING AND BACKS INTO THE CORNER. VALERIE GETS UP FROM THE GROUND AND FACES MIA. MIA CHARGES OUT OF THE CORNER, AND THE ‘KILLING MOON’S ROLLING WHEEL KICK’ IS ABOUT TO LAND!

James Peters: VALERIE JUMPS OVER HER AND COUNTERS WITH A SWIFT QUICK DOUBLE-FOOT STOMP! VALERIE ROLLS OFF AND SWIFTLY CROUCHES DOWN TO LIFT MIA OFF THE GROUND, THEN STEPS BACK AND KICKS HER TEETH IN WITH A SUPERKICK!

Rich Russillo: THE SUPERKICK CONNECTS SQUARELY ACROSS HER JAW, AND NOW VALERIE PICKS MIA UP FROM THE GROUND, GETTING HER BACK ONTO BOTH FEET! VALERIE POSITIONS MIA ON HER SHOULDER, SIGNALING THAT SHE’S GOING FOR IT!… ‘THE FINAL FLASH’ GTS!

James Peters: NOT SO FAST! MIA MANAGES TO CATCH THE KNEE OF VALERIE, WHICH ALMOST HIT HER JAW, AND NOW SHE HAS VALERIE IN A WRISTLOCK, FIRMLY LOCKING IT IN! SHE’S SETTING UP FOR THE ‘SAFE PASSAGE’ GUTWRENCH BACKSTABBER!….

Rich Russillo: VALERIE SLIPS OUT FROM THE HOLD AND QUICKLY MOVES BEHIND MIA! VALERIE SEIZES HER WRIST, STILL LOCKED IN, AND FORCEFULLY PUSHES HER FORWARD!… ‘BEAUTIFUL TRAGEDY’ RAINMAKER LARIAT! MIA’S OUT! COVER BY VALERIE!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

( DING DING DING! )

Bella Braxton: HERE IS YOUR WINNER!… VALERIE HELLSTORM!

Korey Gaines: So she won, huh? Hope she doesn’t expect the same to happen at Bloodsport.

(Korey Gaines removed his headset as Valerie Hellstorm rolls off of Mia, and he stands up, staring directly at his Bloodsport opponent.)

James Peters: Valerie Hellstorm indeed successfully boosted her momentum and managed to come out on top against Mia Santoro! Mia put on a fantastic display in her EAW debut tonight, showcasing her skills, but the spotlight ultimately remained on Valerie Hellstorm in this encounter. Great efforts from both women!

Rich Russillo: Beautiful Tragedy shut Mia down, and if Valerie can keep this up, she may just be able to take down all of her opponents at Bloodsport!

Persephone: Okay guys, can we just be happy that this match is finally over, at least?

( ‘Good 4 u’ by Olivia Rodrigo plays as Valerie Hellstorm rises to her feet, and the referee raises her hand up high in the air, showing the sign of the winner of this match. Korey and Valerie stare at each other, meanwhile Mia rolls up and clutches her chest, then walks down to the back. The final shot is Korey Gaines at ringside while Valerie continues celebrating her victory in the ring as the scene fades away from ringside. )

(Promotional ad for Bloodsport, promoting the Ultimate Opportunity Exploding Barbed Wire Ladder match.)

(Slowly, we begin to fade back into view as the camera pans around the Braehead Arena, Renfrewshire, Scotland. We see the grey roof alongside the navy blue walls, but more importantly, we see the Scottish natives seated ready to continue the Voltage show, all wearing their high-quality EAW merchandise. Eventually, the camera pans back, as we see a full shot of the arena, alongside the yellow entrance LED’s at the top of the stage. Though, eventually, they would be replaced by ‘Hikarunaru’ by Goose House as immediately the crowd begins to boo. “The Dark Kitsune – Mei Sasaki” appears on the titantron, the black and red graphics displaying throughout the arena LED’s, and the negative crowd reaction would shine through immediately. As Mei Sasaki walks out through the curtains, she practically ignores all of the hate being hurled her way. Not a single reaction is bothersome to her. Her sole focus is Bloodsport, and her match tonight.)

James Peters: A former Queen Bee; here comes Mei Sasaki! We knew going into Voltage tonight that she would make a declaration heading into Bloodsport with her match against Roberto De La Rosa, and given how she’s felt about Roberto the past few weeks, we know it exactly won’t be nice…

Persephone: GOOD! I’m here for the chaos! 🤤

James Peters: Well… no surprise there.

(Mei Sasaki slowly makes her way down to the bottom of the ramp, as she turns to the ring steps. Dressed in an black one-sleeved crop top, alongside tight black leather shorts, a microphone already in her hand – she slowly makes her way up the steel steps. One after another after another she reaches the apron of the ring, before extending her leg over the middle rope. Slowly entering the ring, Mei Sasaki circles it for a brief moment. Waiting for the boos to die down, alongside her theme. Once she is given that small window to speak, her pacing slows down, as she faces the hardcam, the microphone now raised up to her lips.)

Mei Sasaki: The popular consensus that Mei Sasaki isn’t a credible performer is one that I want to end real soon. I mean, from their perspective, I get it. I get how some people like to drive that narrative home. I get how some people see it. It’s fickle, but I get it. Because I didn’t have some meteoric rise to title glory, defeating name after name after name… right? I didn’t rise like the Joso’s! The Hans Grayson’s! I wasn’t Champion just 4 months or so after I joined up, and I’ve lost a couple of matches. That must mean I’m not credible? That must mean I’m someone who shouldn’t be taken seriously, the mild spice of the bunch? From a “critic’s” perspective, I get it. But realistically, it’s stupid. I am just as good as I bill myself as. I was trained by the best, I competed in the Asian Games, Asian Taekwondo Championships, and the World Taekwondo Grand Prix – among so much more. Each and every kick of mine could send somebody into a state of unconsciousness, and I am much more credible than most rookies ever have been when they enter the business… but Roberto feels like he can just walk all over me?

Mei Sasaki: It’s disappointing. It really is. That will never be the woman I am. That will never be woman Mei Sasaki will be reduced to. I understand that Roberto essentially has one tiny piece of success over me, but that doesn’t make me what is essentially a carpet for him to just act like I’m a stepping stone, when I could be the woman who ends his momentum and makes it so he never feels comfortable in his own shoes ever again. I know that my debut season didn’t go as planned. But did Roberto’s? It just feels hypocritical to me. It just feels like… projection. But, that is what it is. I’m not going to push that idea too hard, because I know that it’s gonna have to be backed up in the ring. My debut season doesn’t reflect this season. This isn’t Queen Bees Mei anymore. I know I may have taken losses to people like Joso, but if you look at how good Joso is, or anyone else that I have lost to for that matter, we shouldn’t act as if I’m some mediocre wrestler. That’s what I intend to prove by beating Roberto De La Rosa, and giving him the biggest embarrassment of his entire life.

(Immediately, the crowd once again boos.)

Mei Sasaki: I shouldn’t be overlooked. I shouldn’t be treated like some charity case, someone who shouldn’t be on the card. I should be treated like the threat I am to Roberto De La Rosa. Once Bloodsport comes to an end? Once Bloodsport is finally concluded? Once Bloodsport has came and passed, and it’s Mei Sasaki who stands tall over Roberto De La Rosa instead of the other way around? He’s gonna have to eat each and every one of his words. Esmerelda had that attack coming last week because of them. Roberto’s entire “familia” deserve it for what they’ve ever said about me, public or private, and it’s disgusting how people can get away with treating their co-workers like a piece of meat to beat up and step on. I deserve better. I’m going to get it. Roberto can say what he wants to. Roberto can push whatever narrative suits him best but when it comes to me, I’m not going to deal with that. All of this, all of this could have been avoided if he didn’t do what he did. If he hadn’t brushed me off, if he hadn’t treated me with such a lack of respect, and returned what I gave him. But he didn’t. He did this to himself. He is his own worst enemy here, and I am acting as what is essentially the consequences of his own actions. This is his fault. Not mine.

(Mei Sasaki would slowly lower the microphone, as she stares down the hardcam… before ‘El Gavilan’ by Luis R Conriquez, Peso Plasma, & Tony Aguirre begin to blare through the speaker system. The crowd would be way more positive than towards Mei, though he’d still have his detractors, however it is a mostly positive crowd reaction for Roberto De La Rosa. Mei would obviously sigh, as she turns her head towards the entrance stage, where everybody notices the “De La Rosa” graphics. We all await El Padrastro’s entrance, however…)

James Peters: Roberto De La Rosa clearly has taken an issue with what Mei Sasaki is saying here, especially her mention of Esmerelda! There’s no way in hell that he’s just going to sit back a-

Rich Russillo: OH MY GOD! ROBERTO DE LA ROSA FROM BEHIND! A HUGE FOREARM STRIKE TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD AND MEI GOES DOWN!

(Mei immediately falls down right next to the bottom rope facing the ramp, as Roberto had slid in from behind. His suit blazer was removed alongside the tie in the process, as his sleeves are rolled up completely – clearly looking for a fight. The 24/7 Contract Holder would look down on Mei Sasaki…)

Rich Russillo: OH MY GOD! HE’S NOT GIVING UP HERE! ROBERTO DE LA ROSA GRABS THE TOP ROPE, BEFORE STANDING RIGHT BESIDE MEI! HE’S STOMPING DOWN ON HER GROUNDED BODY! THIS HAS TO BE REVENGE FOR ESMERELDA HERE! IT HAS TO BE! BUT TO THINK HE BLINDSIDED A WOMAN! DESPICABLE, BUT… UNDERSTANDABLE! IF SOMEBODY HAD DONE THAT TO PERSEPHONE I DON’T KNOW WHAT I’D DO IN RETALIATION!!!

Persephone: I’d hope that above all else you’d leave me alone because the thought of you defending me would probably hurt so much more than the attack itself.

James Peters: ROBERTO DE LA ROSA IS TAKING OUT HIS ANGER ON MEI SASAKI HERE, AS HIS RAGE HAS BUILT AND BUILT OVER THE PAST FIVE DAYS! WHO CAN BLAME HIM? WHILE A SNEAK ATTACK ISN’T THE MOST HONORABLE OF THINGS, THE FACT IS, DOES HONOR EVEN MATTER ANYMORE WHEN AN INNOCENT WOMAN HAS BEEN HURT? ROBERTO DE LA ROSA’S ANGER IS ABSOLUTELY UNDERSTANDABLE RIGHT HERE! EACH AND EVERY STOMP HAS SO MUCH FURY BEHIND IT, AND IT’S ALL DESERVED! IT’S ALL SOMETHING THAT MEI SASAKI HAD BEEN ASKING FOR, IT’S ALL SOMETHING THAT MEI SASAKI HAD BEEN AWAITING!

(Roberto De La Rosa backs away from Mei Sasaki’s prone body, as he violently runs his hands through his hair. The hair bobble pings out, as his hair rolls down his back. He had been awaiting this moment for quite a while, and the entire fanbase is on his side. This was something personal for Roberto now, and every stomp was something that he felt was necessary. Roberto looks back down at Mei Sasaki, his lip quivering in rage. He has an idea. He wants to inflict even more damage. He wants to make it an even bigger, more brutal attack…)

James Peters: Roberto De La Rosa is not finished with Mei Sasaki right now. Roberto De La Rosa has her in his sights, and I can already tell it’s not going to be good! Roberto grabs Mei Sasaki by the hair, dragging her to the center of the ring… NO! NO NO NO! THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE GOOD FOR MEI SASAKI RIGHT HERE, AS ROBERTO PLACES HER HEAD IN BETWEEN HIS LEGS, AND GRABS THE WAIST… BEFORE LIFTING HER OFF THE GROUND! ‘THE CALLING CARD’!!! THE CALLING CARD PILEDRIVER CONNECTS, AND MEI IS PLANTED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!

Crowd: :damn: :damn: :damn:!!!!

Rich Russillo: OH GOD, MEI GOES LIMP! SHE’S OUT COLD! THAT FOREARM TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD, THE COUNTLESS STOMPS, AND THE PILEDRIVER ALL COMBINED HAS COMPLETELY TAKEN HER OUT! JESUS CHRIST! ROBERTO BRUTALIZED HER! ROBERTO IS TAKING HIS VENGEANCE FOR WHAT MEI SASAKI DID, AND THE CROWD IS LOVING IT! MEI’S BACK ARCHED AS SHE’S FACE DOWN, HER BODY NOT YET COLLAPSING! ROBERTO SHOVES HER OFF, AS HE SLOWLY RETREATS TO A STANDING BASE! HE’S LOST IT! HE’S NOT IN A GOOD SHAPE RIGHT NOW, NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST!

(Roberto De La Rosa slowly walks to the ropes, as he grabs the top rope. He leans all of his weight onto it, taking insanely huge deep breaths. However, despite trying to calm himself down… it’s no use.)

James Peters: NO! NO NO! ROBERTO IMMEDIATELY RUNS BACK TO MEI SASAKI! HE PICKS HER UP FROM THE GROUND BY THE HEAD ONCE MORE, BEFORE LIFTING HER UP AGAIN… THE CALLING CARD HITS A SECOND TIME! HE DROPS HER ON HER HEAD WITH HIS FINISHING MANEUVER ONCE MORE! THIS MIGHT BE TOO FAR, ROBERTO! THAT’S ENOUGH! SHE’S OUT OF IT, YOU MADE YOUR POINT HERE!

(Roberto rolls away from Mei Sasaki as he slicks his hair back. He looks down at what he’s done, knowing that Mei is going to have a hard time knowing where she is after this. He seems… satisfied. At least slightly. Roberto bends down, and grabs the microphone that Mei Sasaki had dropped due to the attack. Looking down at his victim, he begins to speak.)

Roberto De La Rosa: Hermana…. You made a terrible decision doing what you did. Roberto De La Rosa is the last man you piss off. But you did. You made that choice. And now you’re going to regret it, comprende? You made one of the worst mistakes of your entire life last week. What is between the two of us has to stay between the two of us, whether you feel disrespected or not, but don’t you ever go after familia. I’m going to make your life a living hell now. You’re going to wish that you never tried to challenge me, getting in the way of my destino of becoming Champion in this company. You’re going to wish you stuck with your little Queen Bees group. You’re going to wish you did something else. As a matter of fact? You may not even bother showing up to Bloodsport. At the end of the day, perra; I’ll make sure I do what I did tonight tenfold, it won’t even compare.

(Roberto De La Rosa drops the mic on the head of Mei Sasaki. The mic rings throughout the speaker system, as the crowd cheers, albeit a little unnerved. Roberto, on the other hand, doesn’t care, as he slips out of the ring and walks up the ramp.)

James Peters: Oh my God… what have we just witnessed?

(Roberto doesn’t look back. He doesn’t look at the fact he could have concussed a woman. He doesn’t care. The camera lingers on Mei Sasaki’s prone body, before we fade elsewhere.)

( The scene opens up to the backstage area where Fight Grid host, Molly Waters, is seen walking down the hallway. She’s holding a microphone with a cameraman trailing her because she’s determined to find out more about the ‘Four Corners of Pain’ match. As she approaches Captain Charisma’s office, she comes to a stop because the door is closed and muffled voices can be heard inside. There’s some type of conversation going on but she doesn’t want to be THAT nosy and press her ear to the door. Luckily, she doesn’t have to wait all that long to talk to Captain Charisma because the door opens and the Voltage Commissioner steps out. He holds the door open and right behind him is none other than Cy Henderson. Molly’s jaw drops as the two men shake hands. )

Captain Charisma: I look forward to working with you, man. I’ll see you at Bloodsport.

Cy Henderson: Some of the best in the business today are on this brand but you know what I want.

Captain Charisma: :wow: I do.

( That’s when Molly cleared her throat, and both men turned to look at her in surprise. Cy quickly turned back to Captain Charisma. )

Cy Henderson: We’ll talk before next Saturday. See ya, man.

( Captain Charisma didn’t glance at Molly. He turned and headed back to his office, shutting the door. Molly blinked, a little surprised that he didn’t say anything to her and she turned to her cameraman. )

Molly Waters: I’m sorry but who just walked out of Captain Charisma’s office?? And did Captain Charisma just go back into his office and shut the door???

( Molly frowned because she knew that Captain Charisma had seen her, and he was never one to turn down an interview. The Fight Grid host spun on her heels and headed for his door. She wasted little time in knocking and when Captain Charisma opened the door, he couldn’t help but smirk. )

Captain Charisma: Molly. How are you this evening?

Molly Waters: You know, normally I’m much more polite, but come on Captain Charisma. Cy Henderson just left your office and now we know that he is going to be at Bloodsport.

Captain Charisma: I’m sure Cy won’t be the only Elitist who wants to watch Bloodsport in person. It’s certainly going to be a spectacle. From top to bottom, Voltage is stacked with the best talent in EAW today and I can’t blame megastars like Cy Henderson for wanting to be a part of that.

Molly Waters: So has Cy Henderson officially signed with Voltage?

Captain Charisma: Cy Henderson is a free agent and is able to come and go as he pleases. He’s a Hall of Famer, not to mention he just competed at Midsummer Massacre. Considering how his match with Chef Viz ended, perhaps Cy feels like he has unfinished business over on Saturday nights.

( Molly could tell Captain Charisma was purposely keeping mum and she wasn’t going to let him skate around the conversation she had just overheard. )

Molly Waters: Or there’s something… or someone here on Voltage he’s got his eyes on?

( The only real answer Molly got to her question was a shug. )

Captain Charisma: As the free agent contract states, Cy can compete on any brand. If he wants to do something on Voltage, he’s more than welcome, but right now, I am focused on Bloodsport. Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t you contact me earlier today about an interview relating to Bloodsport?

Molly Waters: I did, and that’s what I came to speak to you about. However, Cy Henderson showing up at Bloodsport is now a part of that. It’s arguably a bigger story than what ‘Four Corners of Pain’ entails.

Captain Charisma: Something tells me Cameron Ella Ava and Dr. Bethany Blue will be a little irritated by that comment. I’m not going to talk anymore about Cy, and what his intentions may be. EAW has drastically changed since he’s been away; the landscape and the talent. Voltage is an entirely different brand than it used to be. For the last four, almost five years, Voltage has set an insanely high standard that even now the other two brands are struggling to reach. I take a lot of pride in that, and I can only assume someone like Cy Henderson wants to see what Voltage is all about.

( Molly suppressed a sigh. She knew she wasn’t going to get anything else out of Captain Charisma when it came to what he was discussing with Cy. )

Molly Waters: Fair enough, Captain Charisma. As you already stated, I contacted you to see if you have changed your mind about revealing the details for the ‘Four Corners of Pain’ match come Bloodsport.

Captain Charisma: I haven’t. I think the element of surprise is something that will challenge both Cameron Ella Ava and Dr. Bethany Blue. These two women are two of the very best and something tells me that when the bell rings, neither of them will be rattled by the stipulation. After everything that’s gone down between them, they truly just want to beat the hell out of one another, and I know the EAW Universe is looking forward to that.

Molly Waters: From top to bottom, Bloodsport has one of the strongest cards in recent memory. It’s stacked with some of the biggest stars in the sport today, as well as showcasing some of the most brutal matches we have ever seen. What has been your thought process on making sure this event is one for the ages as we get closer to it?

Captain Charisma: I want to continue pushing Voltage to the forefront and making sure it is seen as EAW’s most competitive brand. I also just want to push the envelope a little bit and I’m not going to apologize for that. Last season, we had to present a watered down product to the world and I’m not exactly proud of that. One of the most prestigious titles in our company’s history was given a ridiculous list of rules and restrictions, and just overall, the product suffered. With Disney lifting their restrictions, Voltage can get back to its roots. An event like Bloodsport is the perfect way to kick things off, and I’m sure our die-hard fans are going to love it.

( Before Molly can continue the interview, Captain Charisma’s phone rings. He looks at it and frowns. )

Captain Charisma: I’m sorry, Molly, but I have to take this.

( All she can do is nod because then Captain Charisma answers the phone and heads back to the office. He shuts the door and the scene fades out. )

(Sunday Night Voltage reopens, with the camera focusing on a shot of the backstage area of RDS Arena. From there, standing in front of an EAW branded backdrop, is designated Voltage Backstage Interviewer Sofia Clarke who is standing by. She has a microphone in hand and a smile on her face as she looks at the camera in front of her. After a moment, she brings the microphone up to her mouth to speak to the EAW Universe.)

Sofia Clarke: Welcome back to Sunday Night Voltage, and what a show that we’ve had so far! It’s been full of jam packed action from top to bottom, and it’s far from over just yet! With Bloodsport quickly approaching, the anticipation is only racking up for the first Voltage Marquee Event of the Season, and with that there has been a lot of eyes on the Unique Opportunity match that is set to be underway. It hasn’t gone exactly as intended for the eight Elitists who were originally planned for the bout, with Dray Fontana’s inclusion quickly becoming null and void after an attack before the show last week left him bloodied and injured. Now, we come to you tonight with concerns for one of the other competitors after what happened last week as well, but I’ll let him answer that himself. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest here tonight… Major Michael Scott Connor!

(The crowd roars in cheers of approval as the camera pans over to show Major Michael march his way into the scene. He has a serious expression on his face as he exchanges a simple nod as a greeting toward Molly. As the crowd begins to settle down, Molly then continues to speak from there.)

Sofia Clarke: Michael, thank you for joining us tonight. As you may already know there have been concerns from the EAW Medical Team and the EAW Universe about your status heading into Bloodsport. Last Season we saw you suffer what looked like a knee injury in a match against then New Breed Champion Caroline for the title. While it may not have been as jarring as we initially thought, with you managing to make it to the next Season to participate on the Sunday Night Voltage brand, what we saw last week when you faced TLA brought the question up on just how severe the injury might be. We saw how much that affected you throughout the match, and although you were able to finish it to the best of your abilities, I want to know what something like this means for your match at Bloodsport, especially with you participating in that huge Unique Opportunity match just as mentioned.

(Michael bows his head, taking the time to compose his words, before slowly nodding his head as he looks to respond to Molly’s inquiry.)

Major Michael Scott Connor: I have no intention of beating around the bush, yes, what happened in my match against TLA last week was enough to re-aggravate that nagging knee injury that I sustained a few months back. While many could think that it’s enough to keep me on the shelf, thankfully, it’s not bad enough to keep me out of the ring and stop me from wrestling. Hell, if my match against TLA wasn’t forced to end prematurely, I would’ve wanted to continue the match as well against an opponent like him, rest assured I never wanted that match to be put in jeopardy thanks to something like that. Unfortunately, we’ll never know how that outcome will be, as the match did not end all that decisively. Looking toward the future though, as it stands, I am perfectly fine and there is nothing to worry about.

Major Michael Scott Connor: There are moments when I wake up and it’s hard to get out of bed in the morning, but that has never stopped me, and never will. I’ve watched friends of mine lose lower leg functionality and live the rest of their lives strapped to a wheelchair, the stump where a leg once was being the painful reminder that they have to live with for the rest of their life. So as long as I can walk, whether that be completely or not, I will go out there and do my duty as not just a Marine but a member of the Sunday Night Voltage roster. This Unique Opportunity is something that I cannot take for granted, I’ve had plenty of opportunities in the past, but as the name entails, this is the biggest of them all.

Major Michael Scott Connor: I take every single one of those opportunities in stride, whether that be facing talented Elitists like Minerva or TLA, or being presented with a challenge like this one where I have to stand across the ring from six other Elitists to get what I want. To clarify, I understand just how meaningful a match like this is, let alone the stage that it’s on with Bloodsport, and you will have to kill me in order to keep me away from all the action. I see all these talented Elitists that I will be facing, some new faces and some old faces from my past, and I know that they will be doing everything in order to make sure that they’re the ones with their hands raised in victory when it’s all said and done. And thinking about that makes me forget about all of the pain that I’ve been through these past few months since my time on Showdown, and makes me work twice as hard in order to make sure that I am the one that wins over all of them when it’s said and done. That doesn’t change regardless of the scenario, and I hope that’s understood before people try to take advantage and use that against me.

Major Michael Scott Connor: There should be no doubt in anyone’s mind that I plan to bring the very best to the table at Bloodsport, just like everyone else in the match, and do my absolute damndest to make sure that I’m the one with the Unique Opportunity, and most importantly find out what that entails. I’ve been looking for something these past couple of months to light my spark ablaze, and I feel that no matter what it is, whether it’s a title shot a big match or something that I didn’t even factor into the equation, that I will use it to the utmost fullest, more than anyone else. And I promise no matter if it’s a knee injury, torn ACL, MCL, broken leg, or any other body part that may prove an issue to my chances of winning, I promise that it will not hinder me whatsoever from showing up to Copenhagen, Denmark and doing what I have to in order to win. You will only see me at my best next weekend and that’s a promise.

Sofia Clarke: Well I’m glad to hear that you’re just as ready as ever heading into Bloodsport! Do you have any more comments before we close this off?

Major Michael Scott Connor: Yes, and it’s to my opponents. Bea Valentine, Korey Gaines, Ayu Megumi, Mr. Wrestling XIX, Valerie Hellstorm, I may not be anyone’s favorite to win. I certainly won’t be heading into Denmark seeing any Major Michael signs in the crowd. But trust me when I say that if you even try to downplay my abilities and underestimate my skills in the ring, it’ll be the last thing you do. I will admit that I have taken some beatings these past couple of weeks, but none of that will put a damper on what I know I can do inside that ring and the type of presence that I have amongst the rest of you. Do not be surprised at all if I’m the one that wins the Unique Opportunity and you’re left on the outside looking in, just know it meant that you were facing an opponent that was more ready and determined than you were, and I intend to live up to that promise when we step into the ring against one another come Bloodsport.

Sofia Clarke: Well, Major Michael, I’m glad that you were able to join us here tonight on Voltage. Thank you for joining us as always.

Major Michael Scott Connor: The pleasure is all mine, Sofia. Semper Fi.

Sofia Clarke: :wow:

(Major Michael is seen turning around and making his way out from the scene, as the frame once again focuses on Sofia as she looks toward the camera.)

Sofia Clarke: Bold words by Major Michael, showing that no matter what happens nothing is going to stop him from showing up at Bloodsport, and the rest of his opponents in the Exploding Barbed Wire Ladder Match for the Unique Opportunity will be put on notice. But that remains to be seen, one thing for certain is that we will be in for one hell of a match next week! That’s all I have here! We’ll be back after the break!

(With that, Voltage fades into a commercial break.)

(Promotional ad for Bloodsport, where the EAW Championship is defended in a Fatal Four Way Cage of Death.)

( Sunday Night Voltage fades back into the arena as the fans here in Scotland are waiting in excitement but that excitement would turn into boos as ‘Imma Be’ by the Black Eyed Peas would begin to blast through the P.A System! Bea Valentine emerges from the curtains, as she is assorted with boos from the EAW crowd here in Renfrewshire, Scotland. Bea has no real expression as she marches her way down to the ring with serious guilt being written on her face)

Bella Braxton: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN…PLEASE WELCOME AT THIS TIME… ‘QUEEN BEA’ BEA VALENTINEEEE!!!!

James Peters: Look at her face, Rich we all know she’s the one who was behind the attack on Dray Fontana last week. It was quite obvious she was the culprit behind the entire ordeal, even being in possession of a baseball bat that had Dray Fontana’s blood all over it! I don’t think she’s even trying to deny it.

Rich Russillo: Bea certainly has a lot to explain of the actions that she claimed never did. I’m interested in her excuse, and her explanations as to why she was at the scene of the crime where Dray Fontana was. I’m really hoping that Bea doesn’t insult our intelligence for whatever she has to say, that’s all I’m really hoping for.

Persephone: Who does this dumb bitch think she is? We clearly saw her with the evidence, you were caught red-handed bozo, own up to it!

( Bea continues her walk down the ring as the fans here on Voltage continue to boo her. Bea Valentine looks around the arena and sees the constant negative reaction she’s getting from everyone here tonight as she then walks up the stairs and enters through the ring. She gets handed a microphone by ringside official as Bea begins to speaks towards the EAW fans around the world, what she has to say. )

Bea Valentine: Listen, I’m just going to cut right to the chase. All week everyone has been talking and gossiping about the alleged incident I had with Dray Fontana, and the alleged attack I apparently dished out on him. I’m here to sit the record straight everybody so listen here… I never had ANYTHING to do with the heinous attack that Dray Fontana had suffered through last week. I have no part in that whole ordeal, none whatsoever. I would NEVER try to get rid of the competition beforehand, that’s not who I am as a person. These allegations are quite hurtful if I’m being honest, because again I have no involvement over this alleged attack that I did on Dray Fontana… however I do know who was behind the attack, the true culprit behind that vicious attack. It…. was…

Crowd: WHO! WHO! WHO! WHO!

Bea Valentine: It was… AYU MEGUMI!!!!!!

Crowd: :mjpls~1:

Bea Valentine: Guys I’m being dead serious, It was Ayu! I swear to god it was her that attacked Dray last week. I was just minding my own business and then suddenly Ayu walked past me and handed me that bloodied metal bat she used to attack Dray, with his blood all over that freaking bat. Next thing I knew I was confronted by security and questioned If I was involved. I was just had a match that I had to BEA ready for, why would I possibly decide to attack someone then. It was obviously Ayu Megumi, it was obviously her, her innocent look is disguise for how much a terrible person Ayu Megumi really is-

( Bea would get interrupted as ‘LIKE IT! LOVE IT!’ by Setsuna Yuki would begin blasting through the arena as Ayu Megumi comes to a positive reaction from the fans here tonight! She looks somewhat annoyed, being accused of an attack from Bea as she marches her way down to the ring. )

Rich Russillo: Speaking of the women who Bea said was behind Dray Fontana’s attack, Ayu Megumi is here tonight, and by the look of her face she is looking to dismiss the allegations that Bea had brought forward about her.

James Peters: Ayu means business, I hope she sucker punches Bea right in the face for that accusation.

Persephone: Bea done fucked up now hahahhahahahah!

( Ayu high fives a couple of fans as she makes her way down to the ring as it’s clear she was listening to Bea babbling on how she didn’t do the attack, and putting the blame on her. She would grab a microphone that was placed on the steel steps as walks up and enters into the ring. She comes face to face with Bea as her music begins to fade out. Ayu would begin to speak towards Bea Valentine. )

Ayu Megumi: What the hell is wrong with you Bea. Nobody here actually believes what you just accuse me of because obviously I had nothing to do with Dray Fontana’s assault. What you just said about me, blaming that attack on me is not true whatsoever and I’m a little bit pissed off you would lie about something like that. An attack that was clearly ostracized by you-

Bea Valentine: ALLEGEDLY!!!!

Ayu Megumi: No! Not allegedly, you were literally caught in the act when security confronted you whilst you were holding a metal baseball bat that was covered in Dray’s blood. You can try and defect it and say I gave you that back but I was nowhere near where the attack took place, I was in a completely different location, getting warmed up for my match against Korey Gaines. Everyone knows why you did what you did and it’s because you are afraid of competition. You are afraid that your chances of winning next week at Bloodspot were slim to none, and taking Dray out would help you out in our unique opportunity match next week. You are not slick at the slightest Bea, so just give it up already.

( Bea got a shocked look on her face, as the crowd cheered for Ayu for what she had to say to Bea and her accusation. Bea responds back to Ayu… )

Bea Valentine: How dare you Ayu Megumi! How dare you lie to the fans not only here tonight but those watching around the world? You framed me for that heinous attack, you are lying to everybody here tonight and they only believe you because you’re more liked than me. You handed me that damn baseball bat and before I could even react to what just happened, security happened to just me at the scene of the crime. It’s one again another conspiracy being plotted against me, now coming in the form of stupid little Ayu. You’re trying to make me look bad, ahead of our exploding barbed wire ladder next weekend and I’m not having, tell these people the real truth Ayu! TELL THEM NOW!!!

( The crowd would boo at Bea as now Ayu looks like just has enough of Bea’s bs and responds back to her by saying… )

Ayu Megumi: Oh that’s it, that’s enough for you. You clearly are lying, and everyone here tonight clearly knows you attacked and bloodied Dray Fontana. You don’t want to take the responsibility of that, and not get yourself removed from this, then fine whatever, you ain’t gonna blame me for all that because like I said I didn’t do anything at all. You are just a delusional and crazy person and I’m going to make sure your not gonna win that Unique Opportunity next week at Bloodsport.

Bea Valentine: IT WASN’T ME THOUGHT, IT WASN’T ME, IT WASN’T ME, IT WAS WASN-

( Ayu had enough of Bea’s crying and complaining as she drops her microphone and she lunges towards Bea with a right forearm shot! The crowd here in Renfrewshire, Scotland explode as they cheer on Ayu! Bea delivers a right back as now a full fight as ensued here on Voltage! )

James Peters: THESE TWO LADIES ARE GOING AT IT NOW! A FIGHT BETWEEN AYU AND BEA HAS STARTED AS THE CROWD ARE GOING WILD FOR IT! BEA DELIVERS A RIGHT BACK TO AYU, AYU DELIVERS ONE RIGHT BACK! BEA! AYU! BEA! AYU! BEA! AYU!

Rich Russillo: It’s pandemonium James! Ayu had enough of Bea’s bullshit and now she’s taking her frustration out in this chaotic back and forth brawl! Ayu takes Bea to the ground as she’s now top of Bea, laying on her with shot after shot- now wait just a moment. Bea rolls over on top of Ayu as now she has the advantage!! Bea is now on top of Ayu as she’s laying out forearm shots of the face of Ayu Megumi. The crowd is loving what they’re seeing!

Persephone: Me and Rexy do this all the time, expect for the punching part… anyways these two ladies are fighting and fighting and… NOW THEY TUMBLED OVER TO THE OUTSIDE NEAR OUT ANNOUNCE TABLE.

Rich Russillo: Both of them get right back as they are once again exchanging forearm shots to one another! LEFT SHOT FROM BEA! RIGHT SHOT FROM AYU! RIGHT SHOT FROM BEA! LEFT SHOT FROM AYU! These ladies are going crazy at each other, I think we need some official to break this whole-

(All of a sudden, ‘Good 4 u’ by Olivia Rodrigo would begin to blast through the arena as Valerie Hellstorm begins running down the stage. )

Rich Russillo: It looks like Valerie Hellstorm wants a piece of the action now! She’s running down, and around the ring as… OMG SHE LUNGED TOWARDS AYU MEGUMI! Valerie is hitting some haymakers towards Ayu! BUT AYU ANSWERS RIGHT BACK TO VAL AS SHE CLOBBERS HER WITH A RIGHT! AYU! VAL! AYU! VAL!

James Peters: AYU IS FIGHT BACK AGAINST VALERIE AND- BEA GETS INVOLVED ONCE MORE AS SHE HITS AYU FROM THE BACK! IT LOOKS LIKE BOTH BEA AND VALERIE MIGHT TEAM UP TO ATTACK AYU AND…WHAT!!!! NOW VAL AND BEA ARE GOING IT AS WELLL!!! IT’S EVERY WOMEN FOR THEMSLEVES IN THIS FUNCTION.

Rich Russillo: BACK AND FORTH, BACK AND FORTH AS AYU AND VALERIE EXCHANGE PUNCHES AND PUNCHES! AYU GETTING HERSELF BACK INVOLVED AS ALL THREE LADIES ARE GOING AT IT! IT’S AN ALL OUT BRAWL!!!

Persephone: This should be security’s cue to come break this up and-

( Then suddenly, ‘The World Is Mine’ by Mikey Rykus would begin to play as now Korey Gaines is coming out and he’s joining the party! He would get a fairly mixed reaction from the crowd as he starts dashing towards the ring. )

Persephone: I spoke too soon.

Rich Russillo: Now looks like Korey Gaines wants a piece of the action, as he’s running towards the ring! Korey isn’t even around to join the fight, he just slid inside the ring, what the hell is he thinking!

James Peters: I’m not sure Rich, I’m not sure Korey Gaines is- HE’S GOING TO THE TOP ROPE! WHAT THE HELL HE IS GONNA DO HERE!!!!

James Peters: OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!!!! KOREY JUST DID A CORKSCREW PLANCHA ONTO THE OUTSIDE AND HE TAKES EVERYONE DOWN!!!!!

Persephone: Somehow, someway, the crowd is cheering for Korey here as just pulled a Corkscrew Plancha! I have to admit that it was insane to just watch it from here.

Rich Russillo: Korey is the first to get up as he gestures towards the crowd, he’s definitely feeling himself for nailing that wicked Plancha to the outside as now Valerie is the first to get up as she slaps Korey across the face!!! Korey responds back with punches as now they two are going at it!! This brawl between most of the competitors in the Exploding Barbed Wire Ladder Match are still going at it as now both Ayu and Bea recovered are back into the mix, with everyone punching everyone who’s in the mix.

(All of sudden from the stage we see Major Michael Scott Conor make an appearance as he would get a positive reaction from the crowd. Michael however is still limping from last week’s match with TLA as he stops himself and watches the brawl from the stage. )

Persephone: Oh not this guy!

Rich Russillo: Looks like the Major wants to peek at the action that’s going here tonight as he’s just standing watching this all unfold right in front of our eyes. Of course, in last week’s match against TLA, The Major’s leg gave out and the referee was forced to stop the match as he threw it out the X.

James Peters: Despite that, The Major is still looking to compete next weekend at Bloodsport and earn himself that Unique Opportunity. He looks to be just scoping the scene at the other different competitors as they are still brawling here at ringside! There is one person mis-

( Before James could finish that sentence, as Mr. Wrestling XIX would come out as he would get boos from the audience. Mr. Wrestling has more of a disappointed look on his face as he too watches from the stage as the brawl continues to ensue. )

Rich Russillo: Oh there’s the man in question, Mr. Wrestling XIX is here and too doesn’t look to join in the fight and instead is staying on the stage watching it all unfold with Major Michael Scott Connor!

( Mr. Wrestling XIX looks to tell Major Micahel Scott Conner of what they’re witnessing. )

(Off Mic) Mr. Wrestling XIX: Look at the state at what these other competitors are doing, brawling it out a week before our match. Do none of them have brains, do none of them want to preserve their health or their body?

( Mr. Wrestling XIX then his body around and faces directly towards The Major as he tells him. )

(Off Mic) Mr. Wrestling XIX: I mean look at you, you can barely walk out here, and you really gonna make me believe you’re gonna win that match next week? I don’t think so pal.

(Off Mic) Major Michael Scott Connor: I think you need your watch your tone Mr. Wrestling, I may be limping but I’m damn sure I can still kick your ass.

( Mr. Wrestling XIX put his hands up in the air as he laughs. He then responds back saying. )

(Off Mic) Mr. Wrestling XIX: I’d love to see you try but let’s save all that for next weekend, when you’re watching from the ground, and seeing me win that Unique Opportunity.

( Security would then start to rush in through the stage and onto the ringside are as they are now breaking things up with involved in the brawl as Mr. Wrestling XIX and Major Michael Scott Connor have a staredown on the stage. )

Persephone: FINALLY! Security broke up this fight off as the crowd definitely wanted to see them still fight forever!

Rich Russillo: Security is breaking Korey, Valerie, Ayu, and Bea away from each other, restraining and separating them, the tension is definitely between those involved in next week’s Exploding Barbed Wire Ladder Match!

( The final shot would see The Major and Mr. Wrestling XIX is staring each other down, while everyone is escorted out as Sunday Voltage transitions else where. )

( As Voltage slowly sparked back to life from commercial, the camera’s panned backstage into the office of Voltage General Manager, Captain Charisma. Clearly a tad busy sorting out some paperwork en route to the looming Bloodsport show, making sure everything with the Premium Live Event would be smooth sailing for his brand; as Captain Charisma let out a sigh, rubbing his temples as he tried to focus in on the pile of work in front of him. )

Captain Charisma: This is why I need to remember to keep some Aspirin in here . . .

( Knock! Knock! Knock! )

( As the sudden knocking appeared onto the door, Captain Charisma looked up, a raised eyebrow as someone was trying to enter his office; admittedly, he should’ve declined such an entrance to focus on the work in front of him; though with how stressed he was? He decided to be a procrastinator at heart, shrugging as he begrudgingly allowed the curiosity he had of this visitor to get the best of himself. )

Captain Charisma: Come in!

( As access was granted, slowly the door would open wide; a women walking in towards the desk of Captain Charisma, as he gave a slightly shocked reaction; not exactly expecting for this person to be in his presence today, as she took a seat in front of him on the other side of the desk; flashing him a wide smirk. )

Captain Charisma: Cameron! Nice to see you , although I didn’t expect you to be in my office with your entire Bloodsport being ready and set; what exactly can I do for you?

Cameron Ella Ava: I know, it would be nice to see me. And you are right about one thing, don’t stress out too much; I’ve already gotten Dr. Bethany Blue in a Four Corners of Pain match – there is physically nothing more I could request from you to do here to make next week any better for me, so to clarify… I am not here for Bloodsport, CC.

( To that answer, Captain Charisma was rather lost; his curiosity doubling as he tilted his head. )

Captain Charisma: You’re not here for Bloodsport . . . ? Is it something you’re looking for tonight?

Cameron Ella Ava: Strike Two. Care to go again?

( Captain Charisma was lost, going hard in thought as he tried to piece together why Cameron would possibly be in his office, though before long . . . It finally hit him. )

Cameron Ella Ava: Ahh, there’s the lightbulb! Glad we’re finally on the same page! Territorial Invasion, right? I want in.

Captain Charisma: Ah well, I mean of course Cameron; you were also a guaranteed star we want on that show, there truly wasn’t even a need to ask –

Cameron Ella Ava: No, CC; you aren’t listening. I don’t want to just be ON the show, that is just as you said, a given. See, at Bloodsport? I’m wiping the floor with Dr. Bethany Blue – another one of those given’s we keep round-a-bouting to, but after that? I feel like I deserve a little compensation for the pain she’s provided me. I deserve a bigger spotlight for being the most recent ‘Former’ of Universal Women’s Champions; and quite frankly . . . Even without any of those reasons? I’m Cameron Ella Ava. That means I deserve the biggest part of the stage, the biggest spotlight, and the biggest spot of the whole show. I’m sure you’re getting a little closer mentally as to where I am going with this?

( Cameron said, leaning forward towards Captain Charisma. )

Cameron Ella Ava: Territorial Invasion? I want to be Voltage’s Team Captain in the Brand Warfare Match.

( And to that idea? Captain Charisma actually held a smug look, nodding his head slowly; he didn’t actually mind that idea in the slightest, in fact, he thought Cameron Ella Ava would be a GREAT contender for Team Captain for the Brand Warfare match! )

Captain Charisma: Well I’ll tell you what, Cameron… I might not have expected this; but you truly offer up an idea here that I wouldn’t mind at all for the Voltage Brand – you’ve proven yourself as a high caliber talent for years on end, and we need something like that if we’re going to win Brand Warfare for the fourth year in a row.

Cameron Ella Ava: Precisely. And with me and Jamie captaining both of Voltage’s teams? As a Commissioner, you won. Because you have a near guarantee that both Brand Warfare match’s will come right back to the Yellow Brand; and that is the two points you need, right? To keep your job positioning secure?

Captain Charisma: Well yes – but for Jamie’s case, he’ll still have to beat Jack Ripley at Bloodsport if he wants to garner the opportunity of becoming the War Games team captain . . . But for you? I like the initiative. I like what we’ve seen between you and Bethany, and since you beat her to the punch…

Captain Charisma: Sure, Cameron – you’ve got a deal. This year? You’re the Brand Warfare captain for Voltage.

( Cameron grinned ear to ear, getting the EXACT response she wanted as she nodded in approval. )

Captain Charisma: I know with you as the Brand Warfare captain, we’re guaranteed a win on that side – and in terms of the War Games team? It’s a certainty that they will pull through as well, because no matter what? We’re going to have a legend caliber Elitist like Jamie O’Hara or Jack Ripley leading the front for their side into the Brand Warfare match; Voltage wins regardless!

Cameron Ella Ava: Well I still believe it should be a given that Jamie captains his own team but . .. I’ll hold myself from pushing forward, after all, it’s obvious that at Bloodsport he’s dragging Jack Ripley through the mud.

Captain Charisma: We’ll see about that.

( The two share a chuckle, as Cameron slowly begins to get up from her seat. )

Cameron Ella Ava: Well, I’ve gotten what I wanted, haven’t I? Good talk, CC – I’ll see you in the Main Event tonight~

Captain Charisma: I’ll see you later, Cameron; and please, try to keep your teams tension low? I would hate to see turmoil…

Cameron Ella Ava: You booked a 12 man tag match with people who ALL dislike each other heavily? Don’t act like you aren’t ready for that ring to implode. :mjpls:

Captain Charisma: Just wishful thinking is all! :ye:

( Cameron shook her head, beginning to back up towards the open door, though with her back still turned, Dr. Bethany Blue walks in; pissed as she zero’s in onto Captain Charisma sitting down, furious as she walks directly up to him, causing CC to shrink from his former demeanor. )

Dr. Bethany Blue: Do you want to go ahead and explain why last week was cleared for what that bitch did? Spinning the wheel lazily to land on a match that is a complete question mark to both of us; let alone ANYONE who’s ever watched this sport? It’s absolutely STUPID tomfoolery like that can just go and be accepted by anyone who ISN’T me! But you know what? Fine, you can keep the match; but I DEMAND to know what this whole ‘Four Corners of Pain’ shtick is, how do you win? Is it pinfall? Submission? Knockout? Are there rope breaks? THESE ARE THINGS WE NEED TO KNOW, AS COMPETITORS.

( Behind Bethany, Cameron chuckles to herself; which causes Blue to finally take a moment to realize who could possibly be in the room with her as she turns around, to interlock eyes with her Bloodsport opponent next week. )

Cameron Ella Ava: What, Bethany? Are you scared? Nervous about what stipulations I’m going to have against you as to where I could brutalize and dismantle in so many new and unique ways! My my, I just love treading new waters; don’t you? For all I care, it doesn’t matter what stipulation we could’ve had on this match; Last Woman Standing, Falls Count Anywhere; it could’ve been the Lego Table One Ronan Malosi and Joso are going to do; I’d find a way in each and every one to make your life a living HELL. And if you are as demented as you lead on to be? You’d be doing the same things I plan to, regardless.

Captain Charisma: I’d have to agree here, as competitors on this brand; it’s a given to prepare for anything, and the both of you will find out what exactly the Four Corners of Pain match pertains to at Bloodsport, though for now? It’s in your best interest to try and focus on tonight’s Main Event, no?

( Cameron grins, turning towards the door. )

Cameron Ella Ava: Agreed. Always a pleasure, CC; thanks again for the opportunity.

( Bethany raises an eyebrow to Cameron as she goes to the door. )

Dr. Bethany Blue: Opportunity? What opportunity?

( Cameron was SO GLAD Bethany asked, spinning her heel towards her as she flashed a grin. )

Cameron Ella Ava: Oh me? Well I was simply holding a conversation with CC over here, that ended up providing me with that spot of Team Captain of this year’s Brand Warfare team for Voltage after I beat your ass at Bloodsport! Yeah – I know; an honor for me, right?

( Bethany just stared at Cameron for a moment, not saying much, until … )

Dr. Bethany Blue: Oh. Yeah, I won that last year; I thought it’d be something of at least a little interest to me.

( This response flared up Cameron, who’s smirk turned into a frown as she stared down Bethany; who clearly got some joy out of Cameron’s clear distaste with her retort; as the two began to grow closer and closer to one another, tensions rising.)

Dr. Bethany Blue: Besides, there’s zero way you’ll be able to do what I did a year ago; best predictions? You don’t get eliminated first, maybe.

Cameron Ella Ava: Yeah? Is that so?

Dr. Bethany Blue: Doesn’t seem like you’re disputing it, are you?

Captain Charisma: Ladies, Ladies! Please… Not now? Match. Main Event. Tonight. Voltage. Both of you are IN THAT. So please… Focus?

( Both Cameron and Bethany turn to him, silent for a moment as they sighed; before turning back to one another. )

Cameron Ella Ava: Fine.

Dr. Bethany Blue: Fine.

Captain Charisma: THANK YOU.

( Captain Charisma said, relieved; as the two women stared one another down; clearly still piping with tension between one another, but for now? They held off. Both slowly leaving the office of Captain Charisma, closing the door behind them as he was finally left alone with no major brawl backing out in his office; as he slouched back in his chair, relieved. )

Captain Charisma: Yeah.. I am going to need those Aspirin’s ASAP.

( He said to himself, taking a deep breath; as the scene slowly faded away from there and into a commercial break. )

(Promotional ad for Bloodsport, where Cameron Ella Ava faces Dr. Bethany Blue in Four Corners of Pain.)

( Sunday Night Voltage continues on as we transition back into the ring as ‘Tot Musica‘ by Ado begins to blast through the P.A System as the EAW Unified Tag Team Champions, Holly Arrow and Harper Lee make their entrance here tonight on Voltage. Both Holly and Harper are dressed in casual attire, as both ladies hold onto their championships around their shoulders. They emerge through the stage and pose with their gold as they finally start making their way down the aisle. )

Bella Braxton: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN…PLEASE WELCOME AT THIS TIME… they are the CURRENT EAW Unified Tag Team Champions!… HARPER LEE!!!! AND HOLLY ARROW!!! THEY ARE… POTARAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

James Peters: The champions are making their entrance here tonight, a week before they’ll defend those straps against Kirk Redwood and Solomon Stance of the Off-Brand Amphetamines. I’m sure both Holly and Harper have been preparing for their bout next weekend in Copenhagen, because it’s going to get quite violent isn’t it Rich.

Rich Russillo: You are absolutely James because Potara and The Off-Brand Amphetamines are going to battle it out in a Lighttube Deathmatch for those coveted EAW Unified Tag Team Championships. That stipulation was decided last week when both teams had spun the Bloodsport Wheel of Death and it landed on that stipulation. These two teams are going to be unhinged during this match, it will definitely be crazy, that’s for sure.

Persephone: Not really moved by that if I’m being quite honest, I think a bra and panties match would have been a better stipulation for this match.

James Peters: In what way would have that been better?

Persephone: :shaq:

( Holly and Harper make their way down the ramp as the fans here tonight cheer for the undefeated tag champs. They high five some fans while they made their way into the ring, as they climbed the steel steps and entered into the ring. They would be handed microphones by ringside officials as the fans in the arena can’t stop cheering for Potara! Holly and Harper would stand in the ring with microphones in their hand as the cheers simmered as they begin to speak. )

Holly Arrow: Thank you all for the kind reception, that is very much appreciated .Let’s talk about what happened last week, and the information that was delivered to us via the Bloodsport Wheel of Death, that we’ll be defending these EAW Unified Tag Team Championships in a Lighttube Deathmatch. A match that both me and Harper actually competed in two years prior as opponents, It’s pretty crazy how everything just comes full circle right?

Harper Lee: Yeah I guess so.

Holly Arrow: What’s going to make that stipulation even more of a joy to compete in is the fact that we’ll be in the ring with a team that’s been a constant inconvenience for us these past couple of weeks. These two guys have been trying to make us lose ahead of our title match next weekend at Bloodsport, of course I’m referring to the Off-Brand Amphetamines. Week after week we have to deal with Solomon and Kirk being a constant annoyance for us, showing up whenever they want and thinking they can just attack us without having to suffer any repercussions whatsoever.

Harper Lee: Clearly things didn’t change last week after my match against Jamie O’Hara. Obviously we and OBA had a bit of a brawl after we spun that Wheel of Death, but I thought they were escorted out by security, I thought we wouldn’t have to worry but them till Bloodsport. So imagine my shock when I got thrown a lighttube over my head from those Off-Brand Amphetamines. Imagine my shock when I saw my tag partner being thrown a lighttube over her head as well. Clearly these boys just like to keep pushing our buttons, and it’s starting to really get on my nerves.

Holly Arrow: Not to worry Harper, because there’s only one week left until Solomon and Kirk get a reminder of exactly why we’re the EAW Unified Tag Team Champions. We have been undefeated as a team for the past six months, and nothing’s gonna stop our damn momentum. We didn’t lose these titles when three other teams, including the people that are challenging us next, fought for them in one match. We showed people at Pain for Pride why we’re the best tag team in the world, we definitely won’t lose them now to those Off-Brand idiots.

( Suddenly, ‘Bringin’ Home the Rain’ by The Builders and Butchers would blast through the arena as Kirk Redwood and Solomon Stane also known as the Off-Brand Amphetamines have made their presence known here tonight on Voltage. They would be paraded with boos from the audience here in Scotland as Solomon and Kirk make their way down to the ring. )

James Peters: Well looks like the challenges are here once again on Voltage. I’m sure they’re really proud of themselves with that lighttube attack on Potara because quite honestly Rich, it was a bit uncalled for. These boys should have left the arena but instead they nailed a vicious attack on our tag champions.

Rich Russillo: I’m going to agree with you here James. These boys are just violent and dangerous, and if that’s what they can do with a lightube, imagine the other way they inflict damage. Let’s see what the Off-Brand Amphetamines coming over from Showdown have to say to Potara.

( Solomon and Kirk make their way down to the ramp with the fans still booing them. Both Holly and Harper’s faces are met with sour locks as they are not happy with seeing OBA here once again on Voltage. Solomon and Kirk walk up the steel steps as they both grab microphones that were laying down on the steps. They entered through the ring as it looked like both Holly and Harper were ready to lunge forward towards them but Solomon would give a hand gesture as he went “woah woah” as he began to speak on the microphone.)

Solomon Stane: Let’s relax here ladies, we’re not here to fight with you two. We’re not looking for that tonight, because all we wanna do is just talk. That’s it and nothing else.

( Holly and Harper look confused as Kirk Redwood then begins to speak towards Potara. )

Kirk Redwood: Both of you feel offended by what we have been doing this past month. Both of you feel annoyed and tired of the attacks we dished out when in reality, Solomon and myself just did what we felt was necessary. It was necessary for us to do those attacks on you guys on route to our tag team title match at Bloodsport. I mean Potara clearly had no problem getting their hands dirty and costing us a good match either. So it shouldn’t really be a surprise why OBA was willing to lay you both out with those great looking light tubes.

Solomon Stane: I’m going to issue you a warning to the both of you and listen closely because you probably want to hear what I’m about to say. Bloodsport is going to the night The Off-Brand Amphetamines have been waiting for, a chance at these titles once again, NOT being in a multi-man title match for those straps. Legitimate two on two tag match for those titles, titles that we have won in the past. Very soon both of you will be returning to Voltage empty handed, with nothing left while we the OBA will be coming back to Showdown with those titles. This is our best shot at winning these titles this year and we are not going to waste that opportunity, not by a long shot. We already showed you both what we were willing to do and at Bloodsport, we are gonna take our titles back and the Off-Brand Amphetamines will be the crown jewel of this division once again.

( The crowd would boo OBA for that, as Holly and Harper got an annoyed look on their faces as the boos for OBA would continue to reign on. Eventually it would simmer down as Harper would be the first speaks as she responds back. )

Harper Lee: I find it interesting that you pointed out that this match right here is your best of winning these tag titles this year. This will be your THIRD tag team title match you’ll have this year, and trust me guys this ain’t gonna be some third times the charm luck on your side, it ain’t gonna work like that. There’s a reason why Holly and myself were able to keep our tag team championships intact. There’s a reason why we were able to defeat not one, not two, but three at once and retain these championships at Pain for Pride while The Off-Brand Amphetamines have come up short time, and time, and time again. Both of you came up short on numerous different occasions, it doesn’t matter if they were multi-man matches. You both STILL came up short, you both still haven’t regained these championships since you last lost them to a team that doesn’t even exist anymore.

( Harper would look at Holly as she would begin to speak towards OBA. )

Holly Arrow: Potara is just working on a completely different level compared to the both of you. You had a nice little reign for yourself last year, congratulations but time and time again you haven’t been able to recapture the magic. Recapture these titles, and have them your waist and you have had countless opportunities to get that done, and you haven’t capitalized on that. Our lighttube deathmatch will be a spectacle for everybody watching the world to see, and Holly and I, we will defeat the both of you and retain OUR championships. As much as you boys want to make this shot count, it’s simply not going to happen. It doesn’t matter how many teams are involved or who those teams are, Potara will sweep and at Bloodsport we’ll make our second championship defense at OBA’s expense.

Kirk Redwood: You wanna make that bet? You wanna be 100% certain that you both are going to beat us? There’s a good reason why we weren’t able to win those titles back this year and it’s because of those other teams being the weak ones in that match. Solomon and I have been consistent, we haven’t taken those pinfall losses on those title matches, we were just shy away from claiming gold. Like Solomon said, this is our best shot at taking those championships away from you guys, and we aren’t going to waste it, not for a damn second.

Harper Lee: You realize we have been undefeated as a team for the past six to seven months, we wouldn’t be confident that we’re gonna make another successful defense, this time with OBA being defense number two of our title reign.

Solomon Stane: Those light tubes that we plastered on both of your guys’ heads tells another story. This match was tailor made for the Off Brand Amphetamines, both of guys just aren’t for the type of violent me and Kirk are going to dish next weekend at Bloodsport.

(Both Holly and Harper look at each other once as Holly then says… )

Holly Arrow: Like we always say Solomon, it’s just going another…

Holly Arrow and Harper Lee: #POTARASWEEP!!!!

( Both teams drop their microphones as they begin staring each other down face to face. The crowd cheer on at the segment we just witnessed as both Holly and Harper then hold their championships high in the air. )

Rich Russillo: What a back and forth that was between these two teams, the tension for this match is certainly unreal. OBA explained why they had to do what they had to do whilst Potara made it a delivering point that they aren’t looking to be defeated for those tag team championships next week.

James Peters: In my opinion, it’s a 50/50 split! Either team can walk out of Bloodsport as Tag Team Champions, they have both solid chances but I guess they’ll only be able to find out that answer, and who leaves this brutal Lighttube Deathmatch as EAW Unified Tag Team Champions.

( The final shot of the segment would see Potara and OBA face to face as Sunday Voltage would fade into Commercial Break. )

(Promotional ad for Bloodsport, where POTARA defends the Unified Tag Team Championships against the Off-Brand Amphetamines in a Light Tube Deathmatch.)

(The camera fades into Bella Braxton in the ring.)

Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome the General Manager of Voltage Captain Charisma!!!

(The crowd cheers loudly as Captain Charisma waves at them in the ring with a smile on his face. Captain Charisma is wearing a suit as he stands in the ring next to a table where contracts have been laid out next to pens. He adjusts his tie before grabbing a microphone from Bella Braxton and addressing the crowd.)

Captain Charisma: What’s good Voltage fans!!! We are having a great night tonight and up next we are going to make a match for Bloodsport official! We are having a big contract signing for the upcoming Chamber of Blood match for the EAW Hardcore Championship.

Crowd: :blessed: !!!!

Captain Charisma: So I won’t keep you waiting any further and at this time would like to bring out the participants for this match!!!

(Bubbly by Young Thug hits as Champagne Charlie makes his way to the ring. The crowd is booing him heavily but he ignores them as he enters the ring and takes a seat next to the contract.)

Captain Charisma: Now Charlie before you sign that I have something else I need to mention about those papers. I wouldn’t want to trick you into signing anything. So please wait until your opponent comes out and I can explain fully.

(Champagne Charlie looks annoyed that he has to stick around for this as he puts his feet up on the table.)

(Ambitionz az a Ridah by Tupac hits as TLA makes his way to the ring. The crowd is cheering him heavily but he doesn’t ignore them as he enters the crowd to celebrate before entering the ring to take a seat at the table across from Champagne Charlie next to a contract.)

Rich Russillo: Both the challenger and the champion have arrived and this is a very combustible situation to be sure. They could start throwing hands at any minute!

James Peters: Most definitely most definitely.

Captain Charisma: Now that I have both of you here I have to let you know that you are not just signing a contract for this match. This is in fact a Waiver Signing. You are signing these waivers ahead of the Chamber of Blood match which will guarantee that EAW will not be held responsible for whatever happens in this match.

(This generates a mixed reaction from the crowd who don’t care to hear about the corporate assurances of EAW politics.)

Champagne Charlie: :wtf:

Rich Russillo: Charlie does not look too happy about that. Maybe he was hoping he would be able to sue EAW if he gets injured in this match. I guess Captain Charisma is saying he won’t be his cash cow!

(TLA is shown picking up a pen as he immediately signs the waiver and throws it across the table at his opponent. TLA picks up a microphone as Champagne Charlie nearly bursts out of his seat to attack him.)

TLA: Ay tranquilo papi. Let’s not get our violence on right now unless you into that. I mean I’m into that. But we ain’t signing no waiver for tonight so I know jefe would be real mad if we done had to hold him accountable for the shit I be about to do to y’all in this ring for real for real.

Captain Charisma: I’m glad that you agreed to sign the waiver so quickly TLA. I’m glad you understand that we here at EAW must protect ourselves.

TLA: I ain’t know about none of that jefe. Pero I be signing this cuz you know I be finna get my lucha on no matter what it takes. I have been waiting for this lucha for the longest and you know that I be gettin’ real feisty. Ain’t about to wait much longer for real. I be comin’ for he neck lookin’ to spill that blood. Chambers of it even and you know I ain’t got no apologies in store once I do. Escuchame Charlie you shouldn’t have come and messed with a real one like me in the first place. That was the first mistake you done made. But not the first mistake that you’ve ever done made cuz we both know you done made a lot of em.

(Champagne Charlie looks unimpressed and doubtful that he has ever made any mistakes.)

TLA: You see Charlie if you wanted to make your big ass special return to Voltage you should have done it without dragging me into it. Now I know that imma real special boi. Real cred you know you wanna leech off. You wanna come through lookin’ to increase yo rep seeing TLA as that target and yo best chance to do it. But that is where you thought wrong homie! Cuz you ain’t going to be leaving Bloodsport with the Hardcore Championship. You just going to be leaving Bloodsport as a bald old man who everyone thinks is past he prime and should have stayed retired.

(TLA points at the baldness of Charlie’s head in order to draw attention to it from the crowd.)

TLA: Y’all should invest in buying a wheelchair viejo. Cuz you going to need one when I get through with you! Nah for real though. It ain’t even going to be because of yo age. You know that a vato be respectful of all his elders n shit. We them hardened veteranos all up in our prime. But you ain’t going to be in yo prime cuz of what I be doing to you in that ring when I gets done with you! We might have faced each other in the past and it’s clear that age and time ain’t no issue with you. You clearly ain’t changed at all in yo time away. I’ve faced you before. I know you. Which is why I also know that at Bloodsport I ain’t about to leave without this championship that I won at Pain for Pride cabron. Just try and take.

(TLA sets the microphone down and he raises the Hardcore Championship up into the air to celebrate before sitting down next to his signed waiver. Champagne Charlie is shown picking up the microphone, moments following a shot of him staring down at the waiver, without yet signing it as he begins to speak.)

Champagne Charlie: To be honest with you, TLA, hearing you speak across from me about what is on your mind is relatively amusing. I still find you to be stupid, just as I mentioned last week, but it does amuse me. Especially when I hear words such as “leech” and “special.” Tell me, TLA, as much as you feel like your career is so special and lucrative, do you have any idea what special legitimately means? Especially when it comes to my Championship that just so happens to be around your waist? You and I are on two entirely different levels, and it’s why I can’t take much of that too seriously. It just feels like endless ramble in one of TLA’s many, many unserious moments.

(Charlie presses his lips together, shaking his head in denial – he doesn’t think too highly of TLA.)

Champagne Charlie: I won’t deny that you’ve had your moments. I couldn’t do that. That’d be purely wrong. But I’m not at a stage where I need to acknowledge any of that to be true. You can sit here and talk to me about what is and isn’t special with what you’re doing right now, and you can talk to me about who is and isn’t leeching, but the way I see things TLA – you’re leeching off of what I’ve done with that Championship and you know it. We all know it. Without me, the Hardcore Championship would just be the PURE Championship with a new color palette. Without me, the Hardcore Championship would just be another “workhorse” belt in a company full of pseudo workhorses. Limmy Monaghan made that title irrelevant, and when I picked up the crumbs, I turned it into a full course meal. I had the greatest reign in that title’s lineage. I made it prestigious again. Charlie Marr is the greatest thing that has ever happened to the Hardcore Championship ever since it’s conception way back when, I’m sure you were around to remember that right? You’ve had an eye on that title, whether it be directly or passing thoughts. You should be thankful it’s meant as much as it does now.

Champagne Charlie: Of course, it doesn’t mean as much as it did beforehand. And I can assure you, it definitely wouldn’t have meant as much if I were not your very first challenger for that belt. You should be thankful for that too. You could have faced someone else and yet you got the opportunity to have your very first, and very last defense against the Hardcore Championship’s biggest blessing. Because, and I can promise you this, that is exactly what I am to that thing. It’s exactly what I will be to that thing. It’s exactly what I will ALWAYS be to that thing. The Hardcore Championship without me is just like the rest of your reigns, but the Hardcore Championship with me is essentially a fourth World Championship for the men. This being your first match is something I absolutely deserve to get some praise for. This being the highlight of your reign is something I absolutely deserve to get some praise for. Coming back to have yet another legendary run with a belt I never should have lost in the first place is just going to feel oh so great and even better now that it’s at your expense.

(Charlie grins – the entire world hates him for it.)

Champagne Charlie: Once your reign is done? Hell, TLA, you talk about my retirement? After this title is ripped from you, and you have nothing left? We’ll see who will be debating that. You might as well.

(Charlie chuckles to himself, as he clicks his pen. He no longer wastes time reading it. He had his glimpse earlier, and while TLA did not care in the slightest, Charlie took his time. A much more calculated Elitist compared to TLA’s loose and loveable nature. He takes his time. Signing his signature, Charlie slowly begins to make the match official. And when he does… he closes the waiver.)

Captain Charisma: It’s settled, then. EAW will not be held responsible for whatever you two do to one another in that match. It’s on paper.

(Charlie grins, as he stands up.)

Champagne Charlie: (off-mic) I’m glad…

(Before he throws the waiver into TLA’s face!)

James Peters: OH MY! CHARLIE CATCHES TLA ABACK, BEFORE HE LEAPS OVER THE TABLE, AND TACKLES HIM TO THE GROUND! CHARLIE IS TRYING TO GET THE BEST OF TLA HERE, AS HE’S NOT WASTING ANY TIME FOR THE VIOLENCE! RAINING DOWN PUNCH AFTER PUNCH AFTER PUNCH, CHARLIE MARR IS TAKING TLA OUT!

(However, after all of the mounted punches, TLA is able to push him off. The two retreat to a standing base…)

James Peters: AND NOW THEY LAY IN ON EACH OTHER! PUNCH AFTER PUNCH AFTER PUNCH, THE TWO ARE TRADING STRIKES THAT COULD INCAPACITATE ANY MAN! THE TWO OF THESE ELITISTS ARE ON AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT LEVEL!

Rich Russillo: CHARLIE PUSHES TLA BACK, HOWEVER, AS HE SHOTOS FOR A ‘CHARING CROSS’ DISCUS LARIAT!

James Peters: ARM HOOKED! TLA SPINS CHARLIE OUT, BEFORE PUTTING HIM IN POSITION FOR THE ‘MEXICAN DESTROY-’

(But, the crowd boos, as Charlie drops to his knees and slides out of the ring. A grin on his face. He’s pushing TLA’s buttons.)

James Peters: But an escape from Charlie Marr puts this encounter to a halt at the very last minute! TLA is holding onto his jaw right now, as Charlie taps the side of his head, backing up the ramp! They came to blows, but I can promise this will be not even an atom of blood in the bucket come Bloodsport…

(Charlie Marr and TLA would stare one another down from a distance, the two at one anothers necks, the two seemingly equal in mindset and physicality. Charlie, however, just might have that barbaric edge over TLA. That may be what he’s looking to demonstrate here. It’s what he’s prided himself on for years. It’s that quality nobody has beaten him in… unless TLA can.)

James Peters: These two are at each others necks, and I’m sure that last brawl will only add fuel to the fire!

(We have one last shot of TLA and Charlie, before we fade into another break.)

(Promotional ad for Bloodsport, where TLA and Charlie Marr face off in a Chamber of Blood for the Hardcore Championship.)

( Sunday Night Voltage begins with everyone seated for one last match of the night. The crowd is already feeling excited, with some kids waving at the camera as it pans across them. People in the crowd are jumping, cheering, screaming, and yelling in excitement from miles away. The camera then slowly fades and displays the entire arena filled with a crowd that is all beginning to sit down for the show. The camera then slowly pans once again and shows Bella Braxton standing at the center of the ring, preparing to announce the main event of the evening. )

Bella Braxton: Ladies and Gentlemen…. IT’S YOUR MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!

Crowd: FIEJGEIOUBGUEIOHJNGIOEHJR(GBERUGJOEIGH*($EJG$*GH()EJGIHHW(JJHEIU$FHPEGHOUERGHPIEHGIUPEHGIOBRGURHJNGIHERHGOIENBGIUHIEGUOHO

Bella Braxton: THE FOLLOWING A TWELVE-PERSON TRIOS TAG TEAM MATCH, AND IT IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!!!

Crowd: ONE FALL!

( ‘Kashmir’ by Led Zeppelin blares through the PA system, prompting a massive cheer from the crowd. Everyone is on their feet, caught up in the theme song’s energy. Some raise their phones high, ready to capture videos on their smartphones. Photographers hoist their cameras, capturing candid shots of the Ace of EAW, who steps out with a displeased expression, clearly annoyed by this choice of music. Out onto the stage come Milli Banks and Jamie Cross, with Jamie following closely behind Milli. Walking out shortly after them is Jack Ripley, his facial expression showing his clear annoyance at having to listen to this tune again. Milli Banks and Jamie Cross exchange disgruntled glances, their eyes meeting briefly before they both avert their gazes. The camera pans in close behind them, capturing the presence of the man whose music is playing. Then, stepping out with a sense of calm and collectedness, comes Jamie O’Hara. Jack glances back at him, his dissatisfaction with Jamie’s presence evident. Jamie O’Hara pauses, locking eyes with Jack. Both men share an unspoken tension, particularly considering their upcoming match at Bloodsport. Jamie shifts his attention toward the ring and starts walking forward. He passes by Jamie Cross, Jack Ripley, and Milli Banks, all three elites watching his every move as he proceeds toward the ring as the entire entourage follows him closely to be tracing his path. )

Bella Braxton: INTRODUCING FIRST!… THE TEAM OF ‘THE IRONWOMAN’ JAMIE CROSS!… ‘STRAIGHT SHOOTER’ JACK RIPLEY!… EAW SPECIALIST CHAMPION, ‘IT GIRL’ MILLI BANKS!… AND THE ‘ACE’ !!!!… JAMIE O’HARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rich Russillo: WHAT A TEAM! WHAT A MATCHUP! We have two Jamies that we all love on the same team, the EAW Specialist Champion herself and the former Answers World Champion, as well as an EAW Hall of Famer!

James Peters: Tonight, we have some sort of insane ‘Can They Co-Exist’ type matchup that we never thought we would see here on Voltage. All top-tier Voltage competitors will be filling one match, and this is surely going to be the hell of the main event to watch. Jamie O’Hara is teaming up tonight with his Bloodsport opponent, Jack Ripley, the EAW Specialist Champion who still has some bad blood with her partner tonight, Jamie Cross as well. We may have to see how this team is going to work out! This is a very interesting chemistry!

Persephone: This match doesn’t feature Rex, how the hell do you even dare to label it as the ‘main event with top tier Voltage competitors’? Jamie Cross has one of the cheesiest gimmicks I’ve ever come across in my entire life, and it always makes me cringe. Milli Banks is also a lackluster Specialist Champion, akin to Serenity Valdez. Jack Ripley is a downright awful human being, and Jamie O’Hara should kick back at home with his children and never grace us with the mediocrity of professional wrestling.

James Peters: Alright, let’s show some respect for everybody here, especially Jamie O’Hara. That man has made significant sacrifices for this business and he has every right to establish himself as the Ace. Milli has been doing a fantastic job as the champion, and the same goes for Jamie Cross, who has been effectively rising up the ranks. Jack Ripley has consistently been impressive, and there’s a reason he was inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. Everybody in this team is exceptional.

( Jamie slowly steps into the ring while Jack remains at the apron, watching him from far away with the same disgruntled face that he held earlier. Jamie glances back at Jack just for a second, then turns his attention towards the camera and walks towards the stage. Milli and Jamie are on the apron as well, both trying not to get their business underway here yet, then refocusing their attention on that match. )

( ‘Somebody Get Me A Doctor’ by Van Halen plays as the crowd begins booing. The camera pans, and some of them already show hatred for who’s going to come out soon or later once they hear the theme music. Roberto De La Rosa steps out on his own, beginning to walk down the ramp as Mei Sasaki follows. Mei already looks frustrated after what occurred earlier, and is still hurt from Roberto’s attack. Cameron Ella Ava walks out, sighs a bit, then turns back around, seeing Dr. Bethany Blue walking out and already sharing some words with her Bloodsport opponent, brushing her off as she walks down the ramp. Mei and Roberto are seen arguing on their way down the ramp, but Mei is able to make an attempt to focus on the match as she approaches the ring, followed by Bethany, as well as Cameron who doesn’t look impressed at all by Dr. Bethany Blue.)

Bella Braxton: NEXT!… THE TEAM OF ‘THE DARK KITSUNE’ MEI SASAKI!…. 24/7 CONTRACT HOLDER, ROBERTO DE LA ROSA!… ‘THE SERPENT’, CAMERON ELLA AVA!… AND DOCTOR BETHANY BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

James Peters: The Doctor and her teammates have arrived! Mei Sasaki, Roberto De La Rosa, and Dr. Bethany Blue! Last week, Captain Charisma declared the stipulation of their Bloodsport match for both Bethany and Cameron in the Wheel of Death, which turned out to be the Four Corners of Pain, leaving Bethany Blue battered. Regardless, Cameron has always been ready for this, and she holds her own confidence to face Bethany Blue in the near future, no matter what the stipulation will actually look like. Details will be revealed soon, so stay tuned!

Rich Russillo: Don’t forget that Mei has really lit a fire under Roberto, pushing him to his breaking point by going after the apple of his eye! Roberto is definitely going to make her pay through the nose, as Mei has added fuel to the flames of his ambition! The match with the 24/7 contract up for grabs is also a real nail-biter to keep an eye on!

Persephone: Both matches sound boring. I will be skipping like always.

James Peters: :skip:

( Bethany steps into the ring and locks eyes with Jamie O’Hara, then takes a step back, retreating into the corner. She faces off with Cameron once again, but this time Bethany’s expression doesn’t seem to bother Cameron much. She turns her face away from Cameron. On the other side, Roberto and Mei might still be exchanging heated looks.. Mei seems like she’s still itching to settle the score right then and there, but she’s able to focus on the match. Everyone is now in the ring, and Bethany and Jamie once again come face to face, but their expressions start to shift to ones of frustration as this theme song plays…. )

( ‘Footsteps of Doom’ by Kohta Yamamoto hits. The theme song plays throughout the arena, and the entire crowd responds with cheers as the match is about to commence. Alex Myers and Ruler walk out together, albeit slowly. As they walk, Alex halts, gazing at Ruler, who also pauses and looks back at them. Donovan then emerges and composes himself before walking past Ruler and Alex Myers. Donovan turns back to them, quickly instructing Ruler to cooperate, and then redirects his focus toward the ring, jogging toward it. Ruler and Alex exchange glances and proceed toward the ring. The camera follows them, passing through Ruler and Alex, and then pans to the figure behind them. And there stands none other than Drake King himself. Drake isn’t entirely happy given the brawl that took place earlier, and he takes a moment to stare at the ring. The EAW World Champion heads straight to the ring while everybody in the ring has their eyes on him. Drake arrives in front of the ring and looks at everybody that is looking at him as well. )

Bella Braxton: AND LAST!… THE TEAM OF ‘GUARDIAN ANGEL’, ALEX MYERS!… ‘THE REVOLUTIONIZER’ RULER!…. ‘THE OKLAHOMA STORM’, DONOVAN DUKE!… AND THE EAW WORLD CHAMPION!… ‘GOD’ !!!… DRAKE KING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

James Peters: Keep in mind, these four elitists are set to clash at Bloodsport for the EAW World Championship, so we’ve got a feeling that this team won’t hold together for long in this competition. Hopefully Donovan and Alex who never been in bad blood with each other could help the team.

Rich Russillo: I’ve got a bad vibe about this already. I mean, this match is rubbing a lot of people the wrong way since it’s just a bunch of folks who will be fighting each other soon teaming up.

Persephone: You’re already familiar with the routine. It’s just going to be everyone entering the ring and duking it out for various reasons, good and bad. Then the referee might struggle to manage the situation and end up ringing the bell. What’s different? This main event shouldn’t even be taking place, because we’re well aware we’ll end up with a disappointing outcome. If Rex were here, he wouldn’t let it be so bland. He’d inject some freshness into the match, making it a thousand times more intriguing than this pointless bullshit.

( Ding! Ding! Ding! )

Persephone: And we are UNDERWAY in our Main Event this week on Voltage, the culmination of Jack Mercer’s Wrestling Wet Dreams; and what I would think is substance abuse from the bookers; as we see TWELVE Elitist all on the apron for this one, and it doesn’t seem like ANY team is coming on a conclusion towards who exactly is STARTING this match up.

( Persephone would be correct with her assumption, as not a single team could decide for a competitor to step into the ring to defend their side. )

Jamie Cross (off-mic): Look, I trust this team but I feel like it’s RIGHT if I start us off here; and I’m not gonna sit here and bicker over it!

Rich Russillo: Well it seems like Jamie has finally allocated herself into the match for her side…

Drake King (off-mic): Step aside, this is the Voltage Main Event; slated for someone to start of the caliber that is EAW World Champion.

James Peters: And there goes Drake King for his…

Roberto De La Rosa (off-mic): I’ll pave the groundwork so that we all can actually SUCCEED, especially with the apparent dead weight that we have.

Persephone: And Roberto for his corner. See, maybe that wasn’t so bad after all; the leaders of each side showed up and got themselves in the ring so this match can begin!

( All of Roberto, Drake, and Jamie began to make their way through the ropes; stepping in front of their corners as EVERY other Elitist looked on in confusion as each of the three electric theirselves to fight for their side. )

James Peters: Finally, it looks like we’re gonna see some in-ring action; as the beginning Elitist in this bout look to be Drake King, Roberto De La Rosa, and Jamie Cross –

( SMACK! )

Referee: TAG!

Rich Russillo: Or not, because Jamie just got tagged out; or SLAPPED out, by Milli Banks who looks to enter this match-up!

Persephone: Milli stepping through the ropes now, and Jamie is just startled by the sudden hit she doesn’t even know whether to move out of the ring or not, as her and Milli get into a verbal affair!

Jamie Cross (off-mic): What was that?!

Milli Banks (off-mic): A tag in, Jamie; start doing your homework.

James Peters: Not a great start for that team, though thankfully it seems that Drake and Roberto have their witts together with their team –

( SMACK! )

Rich Russillo: Annnddd you talked to soon, as this time Mei Sasaki is the one to assault her partner for tonight, tagging herself in as both Roberto and Mei are staring each other down now!

Roberto De La Rosa (off-mic): You better watch yourself, Chiquita.

Mei Sasaki (off-mic): What’d I do? I just wanted to get in on the action. 😇

Persephone: And then there was one, Drake King in all his lonesome; the one man who stays in this match from the initial three…

( SMACK– )

James Peters: OH, AND IT LOOKED LIKE DONOVAN DUKE WAS TRYING TO TAG HIMSELF IN; BUT DRAKE CAUGHT THE HAND AFTER REALIZING THE TREND.

Drake King: :cmon:

Donovan Duke:

Rich Russillo: Safe to say Drake King saved himself there from some heat with his team, catching Donovan Duke in the act and stopping himself from getting tagged out –

( SMACK – )

Persephone: HE’S NOT OUT OF THE WOODS YET! ALEX MYERS JUST TRIED TO TAG THEMSELF IN, BUT DRAKE CATCHES THEIR ARM AS WELL!

Drake King (off-mic): Seriously?

Alex Myers (off-mic): What, did you expect me not to try?

Rich Russillo: And after evading two of the three on the outside, Drake looks on to Ruler; as the two have a stare down!

Drake King (off-mic): Don’t do it.

Ruler (off-mic): Do what?

Drake King (off-mic): … You know exactly what I’m talking about.

Ruler: (off-mic): Nah, you got it.

James Peters: It seems like Ruler has assured Drake that he’ll be able to start this match with no problem, as King begins to slowly lower the hands of Alex and Duke…

( SMACK! )

Persephone: AND THERE IT IS; RULER JUST SLAPPING DRAKE KING SO TAG INTO THIS MATCH, AS THE ENTIRE CORNER MAKE THEIR WAY INTO THE RING!

Rich Russillo: And it’s not just THAT corner, EVERY CORNER IS MAKING THEIR WAY INTO THE RING; COVID STILL EXISTS GUYS, PERSONAL SPACE!!!

James Peters: Every team is bickering back and forth with one another, there doesn’t seem to be a common ground here between ANY side.

( All hell begins to break loose as being able to go through with this match in peace for any side seems impossible, as the irritation in the ring grows further and further, until… )

Persephone: OH MY, CAMERON JUST SHOVED BETHANY INTO DONOVAN; BLASTING HIM TO THE FLOOR!

Rich Russillo: AND MILLI JUST GOT PUSHED BY JAMIE RIGHT INTO MEI SASAKI!

James Peters: AND ALEX MYERS PRACTICALLY GOT FLOWN INTO JAMIE O’HARA!

( In that moment, every competitor in the ring began to slowly look at the opposing teams, analyzing the situations as it seemed like the ring stood in silence. )

Crowd: …

Persephone: Oh boy…

James Peters: I don’t like this, this seems like a old timer western on steroids.

Rich Russillo: I think all of these Elitist know’s the smart team is to slowly de-escalate the situation, back away from each other, and… —

Persephone: NOPE, YOU’RE A FRAUD RICH; EVERYONE IN THE RING IS BRAWLING NOW, ALL HELL HAS BROKEN LOOSE!

James Peters: IT’S SO MUCH DISCOURSE I DON’T EVEN THINK WE CAN CATCH IT ALL; WE SEE MILLI BANKS AND MEI SASAKI BEGIN TO TUMBLE OUT OF THE RING AFTER THROWING FISTS TO ONE ANOTHER, CAMERON ELLA AVA IS FLUNG OUT OF THE RING BY DONOVAN DUKE – AND DUKE IS SHOVED OUT BY ROBERTO DE LA ROSA!

Rich Russilo: JAMIE CROSS AND DRAKE KING ARE EXCHANGING BLOWS, JACK RIPLEY IS BEING CORNERED BY RULER; AND DR. BETHANY BLUE IS BEGINNING TO JUMP DRAKE KING WITH JAMIE CROSS – WHAT IS HAPPENING ANY MORE?! WHO GREEN LIGHTED THIS MATCH?!

James Peters: The referee now is attempting to restore some order. Everyone is returning to the apron as several tags are made. Eventually things go back to the way they were at the start of the match but the lust for chaos persists in the eyes of each and every Elitist just waiting to break free once more.

Rich Russillo: Jamie O’Hara, Dr. Bethany Blue, and Drake King are all in the ring together looking to throw down! This is like a dream triple threat match we are about to witness here tonight! They are all squaring off on three sides of the ring like a triangle before they move towards the center to collide! Beth is talking smack but Drake isn’t going to put up with it and neither is Jamie! Jamie and Beth go face to face as Drake looks almost disappointed that he’s being ignored! Drake shoves both opponents as they turn on him! Jamie and Bethany immediately throw hands at Drake taking him down to the mat and now both are stomping away at him! Drake rolls back up to his feet and is sent across the ring only to eat a Big Boot to the face from Jamie! Drake staggers back up to his feet grabbing the top rope as Bethany runs across the ring…

James Peters: Running Clothesline from Dr. Bethany Blue sends Drake King flipping and flying over the top rope to the outside of the ring! Smart move by Jamie O’Hara and Bethany to eliminate the champion early on in the match as now they can focus on fighting it out between the two of them! But Jamie not waiting long! As soon as Bethany turns around from knocking Drake to the outside he lights her up with a hard uppercut to the face! Bethany goes staggering back across the ring as she quickly tags in Cameron Ella Ava who enters the ring.

Rich Russillo: Now this is definitely an interesting combination. Jamie O’Hara and Cameron Ella Ava squaring off in the ring looking to fight it out. There is definitely a lot of history between these two! They go to lock up in the ring! But wait! Drake King is already back in the ring and he takes both of them out with a double Clothesline from behind! Drake grabs Jamie and tosses him into the corner and begins pummeling him! But Cameron jumps Drake from behind dragging him back across into the ring!

James Peters: Jamie O’Hara staggers out of the corner as he walks across the ring and makes the tag in to Milli Banks! Milli enters the ring as she joins in with Cameron Ella Ava on attacking Drake in the corner! Both women stomping a mudhole in Drake in the corner!

Persephone: There are so many people in this match. That should mean there are more chances for it to end right?

Rich Russillo: I suppose that is one way of looking at it… Drake King with a double thumb to the eye of both Milli Banks and Cameron Ella Ava as the champion breaks free of the corner. Drake makes his way over to his corner and slaps Alex Myers across the face! Such disrespect! But apparently it counts as a tag as Alex enters the ring and they are looking to fight with Milli and Cameron who are squaring off expecting Alex’s arrival and the match appears to be at a stalemate once more.

James Peters: Alex Myers, Milli Banks, and Cameron Ella Ava charge in and begin exchanging hands in the middle of the ring. Cameron goes down to a double shot from Alex and Milli. But then Alex with a Superkick out of nowhere drops Milli to the mat! Alex grabs the leg of Cameron and they twist it around into a Sharpshooter like maneuver! But Milli back up now as she runs across the ring and drops Alex face first with a Running Facebuster! Alex down now as Milli is looking to capitalize. Milli with a Running Senton off the ropes as she makes the cover!!!

Referee: ONNNNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Rich Russillo: Kick out by Alex Myers!!! As Alex kicks out Cameron Ella Ava drags herself away from them and makes the tag to her partner in the corner! Cameron makes the tag to-

James Peters: Roberto De La Rosa! Roberto has entered the match and he flies over the top rope and takes down Milli Banks with a Springboard Dropkick! Alex back up and they kick Roberto in the gut. Snap Suplex connects in the middle of the ring! Alex pulled Milli up as well as they look to deliver a Snap Suplex on her as well! Wait no!-

Rich Russillo: Milli Banks manages to counter into a Small Package! This could be it! Milli is looking to steal one here real quick;

Referee: ONNNNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Rich Russillo: But Roberto De La Rosa breaks it up! Roberto brawling with Milli Banks now as Alex Myers is slowly back up and drags themselves across the ring to make the tag! Alex lunges into the corner to make the tag as Roberto and Milli don’t even realize who has entered the ring with them!!!

James Peters: Bah gawd Almighty could it be??? It is! Ruler has entered the match and this crowd has gone wild!!! Ruler enters the ring and takes down both Roberto De La Rosa and Milli Banks with a double Clothesline! Ruler then runs off the ropes and hits a running Spear right through Milli and into Roberto sending both backwards into the corner! Milli is reeling as Ruler picks her up and drags her into the middle of the ring. Ruler with a Tombstone Piledriver on Milli in the middle of the ring! But wait Roberto sneaking up on Ruler from behind before he can get the pin in! Roberto with a Small Package!!!

Referee: ONNNNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

James Peters: Kick out by Ruler just in time! Roberto De La Rosa falls back into his corner to make the tag!

Rich Russillo: But Ruler cuts him off before he can tag in Mei Sasaki! She almost looks disappointed! Ruler yanks Roberto in towards him and swings him around to hit a Tilt a Whirl Slam!!! Ruler is a walking force of unstoppable destruction. Can anyone stop this madman?

Persephone: UGH, I guess so! Milli managed to tag Jack Ripley into the match, and seeing as he’s barely done anything I guess that means he’s actually gonna be useful!

James Peters: Jack now running in, AND HE TAKES RULER DOWN WITH A CLOTHESLINE!!!! RULER STUMBLES INTO THE ONE EMPTY CORNER OF THE RING, AND JACK RUNS IN BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT!!! JACK NOW RUNS THE ROPES AS RULER STUMBLES OUT OF THE CORNER- AND RULER SWINGS AT JACK BUT JACK DUCKS UNDER BEFORE BOUNCING OFF THE OPPOSITE PAIR OF ROPES AND DELIVERING A HURRICANRANA!

Rich Russillo: All this has given Roberto De La Rosa the chance to get back up, AND CAMERON ELLA AVA TAGGED HERSELF INTO THE MATCH! Cameron now entering the match- BUT DR. BETHANY BLUE TAGGED HERSELF IN!!!

Persephone: Great. Now these two idiots are arguing with each other, and I’m not sure that anyone even notices because Jack and Ruler are still going at it.

James Peters: WELL MEI SASAKI FINALLY TAGGED HERSELF IN, AND IT LOOKS LIKE EVEN SHE DIDN’T WANT TO DEAL WITH THEM! MEI NOW RUNNING IN AS JACK AND RULER TRADE LEFTS AND RIGHTS, AND MEI TAKES DOWN BOTH MEN WITH A DROPKICK!!!! Mei Sasaki turning the tides on this match with only a single move, and that’s what happens in a triple threat match when you take your eyes off of one of your opponents!

Rich Russillo: Of course this is far bigger than a triple threat, and I think these three know that very well! Ruler slowly stumbles away from the area as Mei Sasaki focuses on Jack Ripley, AND BEGINS STOMPING AWAY AT THE HALL OF FAMER!!!! These Elitists all just looking to get a victory right now, AND JACK IS FINALLY ABLE TO CATCH MEI OFF GUARD WITH A RIGHT HAND!!!! MEI STUMBLES BACK, AND NOW JACK GOES FOR “YOU’LL FLOAT TOO”- NO! MEI DUCKS UNDER THE SUPERKICK, AND THERE’S THE DISINTEGRATION- NO! THIS TIME JACK DUCKS UNDER THE KICK!

James Peters: Ruler slowly backs into his corner, likely to tag in his one friend here Alex Myers- BUT IT’S DONOVAN DUKE THAT TAGS HIMSELF IN INSTEAD!!! Donovan enters the ring and Ruler immediately gets in his face, beginning to argue with his partner, BUT DONOVAN JUST PUSHES HIM AWAY BEFORE HEADING OVER TO THE TWO OPPONENTS! DONOVAN GRABS JACK RIPLEY FROM BEHIND BEFORE PLANTING HIM WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX, AND NOW HE SLIPS BEHIND MEI BEFORE DOING THE SAME!!!! Donovan Duke is on fire now, AND HE LIFTS JACK RIPLEY UP INTO A FIREMAN’S CARRY!!! DONOVAN MAY BE LOOKING FOR THE DUKE OF HAZARD-

Rich Russillo: BUT JACK RIPLEY IS ABLE TO SLIP BEHIND DONOVAN AND AVOID GETTING HIT WITH THE FINISHING MOVE!!!! WHAT A CLOSE CALL THERE AS DONOVAN NEARLY OUT JACK DOWN WITH MEI STILL HURTING! JACK RIPLEY NOW PUSHING DONOVAN AWAY-

Persephone: HAHAHAHAHAHA, AND THERE WE GO!!!!! WE KNEW THIS MATCH WAS NEVER GOING TO PLAY OUT NORMALLY, AND THERE IT IS!!! RULER JUST KICKED HIS OWN PARTNER IN THE FACE, AND THAT OBVIOUSLY WASN’T SOME ACCIDENT!!!!! I think we might as well call for the bell now, because things OBVIOUSLY are falling apart! HURRY AND RING THE BELL!!!!

(Alex Myers and Drake King watch on, and neither of them look too happy that things have fallen apart like this. Drake enters the ring and turns Ruler around before speaking to him.)

Drake King: (off-mic) WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? DIDN’T I TELL YOU GUYS TO STAY ON THE APRON!? WHY WON’T YOU JUST-

James Peters: RULER SHOVES DRAKE KING BACK- AND NOW LOOK!!! ALEX MYERS JUST JUMPED OFF THE APRON BEFORE PULLING DRAKE OUT OF THE RING!!!! THERE’S A TON OF CHAOS GOING ON RIGHT NOW BETWEEN THE EAW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH TEAM- BUT WAIT A MINUTE!!!! THIS MATCH ISN’T OVER, AND MEI JUST USED THE OPPORTUNITY TO ROLL JACK RIPLEY UP!!!! SHE’S ABOUT TO STEAL THIS!!!!!

Referee: OOONNNNEEEE!!!!!!

Referee: TTTWWWWOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Rich Russillo: JACK KICKS OUT AND BOTH ELITIST GET TO THEIR FEET, AND NOW MEI SWINGS AT JACK- BUT JACK RIPLEY DUCKS UNDER IT, CAUSING MEI TO HIT ROBERTO AND KNOCK HIM OFF THE APRON!!!!!! MEI SASAKI JUST ATTACKED HER OWN BLOODSPORT OPPONENT AS WELL AS HER TAG TEAM PARTNER, BUT UNLIKE THESE LAST FEW WEEKS, I DON’T THINK THAT WAS ACTUALLY INTENTIONAL!!!!!!

James Peters: EVERYONE ON THE EAW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH TEAM HAS BEGUN FIGHTING, AND NOW ROBERTO DE LA ROSA GRABS MEI AND PULLS HER OUT OF THE RING BEFORE BEGINNING TO ATTACK!!!! IT LOOKS LIKE THINGS MAY BE BREAKING UP INTO A BRAWL RIGHT NOW, AND- WAIT A SECOND!!!!!

Rich Russillo: DR. BETHANY BLUE JUST USED THE CONFUSION TO HOP OFF THE APRON AND PULL CAMERON ELLA AVA’S LEGS OUT FROM UNDER HER, CAUSING CAMERON’S FACE TO HIT THE APRON!!!!! ALL HELL IS BREAKING LOOSE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!

(Jack Ripley takes a few steps back, watching all the chaos unfold…)

James Peters: WHAT THE HELL!? JAMIE O’HARA NOW GETTING INVOLVED AS HE PULLS JACK OVER THE APRON!!!! JACK LOOKS LIKE HE WAS PREPARED THOUGH, AND AS SOON AS HE LANDS BOTH ELITISTS START GOING AT IT!!!! JAMIE AND JACK NOW TRADING PUNCHES- AND JAMIE KICKS JACK RIGHT INTO JAMIE CROSS, WHO IS KNOCKED INTO MILLI BANKS!!!!!!

Rich Russillo: MILLI STRIKES BACK WITH A FOREARM, AND IT LOOKS LIKE FINALLY THINGS ARE BREAKING DOWN WITH THIS TEAM AS WELL!!!!! LITERALLY EVERYONE IS FIGHTING RIGHT NOW, AND THERE’S SIMPLY NO WAY THIS MATCH CAN CONTINUE!!!! THE REFEREE IS LOOKING AT ALL THE CARNAGE, AND THEY KNOW THERE’S NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS AS THEY CALL FOR THE BELL!!!!!

( Ding! Ding! Ding! )

James Peters: THIS MATCH IS OVER, AND THAT MIGHT BE FOR THE BEST!!!!! EVERYTHING HAS GONE WRONG WITH THIS MATCH, AND I DON’T THINK ANY OF US ARE TOO SURPRISED BY THAT!!!! EVERYONE IN THIS MATCH IS INVOLVED WITH SOME SORT OF FEUD AGAINST THEIR OWN PARTNER, AND THANKS TO THAT EVERYONE IS BRAWLING RIGHT NOW!!!! DRAKE AND ALEX ARE GOING AT IT, MEANWHILE DONOVAN JUST SENT RULER INTO THE BARRICADE!!!!!

Rich Russillo: DR. BETHANY BLUE JUST GOT TAKEN TO THE GROUND BY CAMERON ELLA AVA, AND NOW THOSE TWO ARE THROWING PUNCHES AT EACH OTHER WHILE MEI SASAKI BEGINS FIGHTING BACK AGAINST ROBERTO DE LA ROSA, GETTING PAYBACK FOR EARLIER TONIGHT!!!!! THIS IS INSANE, AND WE’VE ONLY COVERED TWO OF THE TEAMS INVOLVED WITH THIS MATCH!!!!!

James Peters: JACK RIPLEY AND JAMIE O’HARA HAVE FALLEN TO RINGSIDE AND ARE GOING AFTER EACH OTHER, AS JACK JUST KNEED JAMIE IN THE MIDSECTION!!! JAMIE RESPONDS WITH AN UPPERCUT AS THOSE TWO KEEP GOING AT IT, MEANWHILE LOOK AT MILLI AND JAMIE!!!! THOSE TWO ARE FIGHTING AS WELL, AND IT LOOKS LIKE JAMIE MANAGED TO SEND MILLI INTO THE RING POST!!!! JAMIE NOW RUNNING IN, BUT MILLI RETALIATES WITH A BACK ELBOW!

Rich Russillo: SECURITY IS RUNNING DOWN THE RAMP, AND TO NOBODY’S SURPRISE THEY NEED A WHOLE LOT OF SECURITY GUARDS TO BREAK THIS UP!!!!! TWELVE ELITISTS ARE FIGHTING RIGHT NOW, THAT’S NOT AN EASY MESS TO TRY AND CLEAN UP!!!!!

James Peters: ALL OF THE FIGHTS GOING ON ARE BETWEEN ELITISTS WHO’LL MEET EACH OTHER AT BLOODSPORT ONLY ONE WEEK FROM NOW, AND IF THIS IS ONE HELL OF A WAY TO PREPARE THEMSELVES FOR IT!!!!

(The fans boo as the officials manage to slowly tear all twelve Elitists away from each other. More and more security guards run down the ramp, slowly flooding the ringside area as the Elitists all try to fight through security to get to each other. Security guards slowly start pulling each Elitist from each other one by one, and tons of yelling is heard amongst the Elitists involved with the chaotic brawl. As the brawl is able to eventually come to a close, Voltage fades away from ringside.)

(Promotional ad for Bloodsport, where Mei Sasaki and Roberto De La Rosa compete in a Fans Bring the Weapons match.)

(‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ by White Zombie hits as Voltage returns to ringside. The camera fades to the stage as the fans are heard cheering loudly, and before long Minerva begins to walk out. She is holding a microphone in her hand, and she only glances at the fans for a moment before beginning to walk down the ramp. Minerva has a focused look on her face despite not being scheduled for any in-ring competition tonight, and it’s because of what’s to come after Voltage.)

Persephone: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! BOOOOOOO YOU SUCK!!!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

James Peters: :francis: I’m just going to ignore that. Anyways, that match before the break broke down into chaos, but as we move on from it we have Minerva making her way to the ring! Minerva is clearly out here to speak judging by the microphone in her hand, and I think we all know exactly what Minerva has on her mind. Her match at Bloodsport is coming up, and it’s not just against anyone. It’s against Rex McAllister.

Rich Russillo: Winning definitely won’t be an easy task for either competitor, that’s for sure. Rex did have some words for Minerva last week prior to her match against Bea Valentine, so maybe that’s what she plans to address right now.

Persephone: What do you mean winning won’t be easy? Don’t be surprised if Rex beats Minerva in only two minutes. If it lasts any longer than that it’ll only be because he wants her to suffer first.

(Minerva walks up the steel steps, entering the ring. The cheers continue as her entrance music begins to fade out, but Minerva doesn’t waste much time beginning to speak.)

Minerva: I have heard many, many things about who I am. Whether it be as an Elitist or as a person, I have been judged my entire life. It’s not anything new so I can’t say I’m surprised to see the likes of Rex McAllister go down that same path and make his own judgments regarding who I am, but let me just say this. I know what I’m capable of. I’ve known for a very long time now, and the fact that I knew what I could do is exactly why I was willing to strike Yhwach before he could strike me. The fact that I knew what I could do is exactly why I held the EAW World Championship for so long, all while being willing to put the title on the line against anyone this company had to offer from those at the very bottom to some of the best in the world. I’ve beaten the best, including O’Hara himself at the biggest event of the entire year, so there shouldn’t be any questioning what I can or can’t do. There shouldn’t be any questioning what heights I can or can’t reach, because the answer is clear. There is no limit, because I’m capable of taking out whoever is in my way.

(This receives extremely loud cheers from the fans in attendance, but Minerva continues to speak.)

Minerva: I’ve already achieved more than most, but that was never going to be enough for me. If it was, I could’ve retired long before I ever got my hands on the EAW World Championship, but I’m not the type of person to become complacent. I’m not the type of person to just accept what they have without wanting more, and that desire to do more is exactly what led me to Rex McAllister. I was interested in reaching new heights. I always am, and in turn I found a competitor who once stood at the very top of this brand, right in a spot I’ve since taken over. I know Rex has his theories, and his ideas of who I am as a person. He believes that I’m insecure, and that those insecurities have fueled my actions over the past month, but I know exactly what I’m doing here. I don’t have any doubts regarding my actions over these past few weeks. I don’t have any regrets when it comes to challenging Rex McAllister. I’ve already spent years fighting to make it to where I am today, and since I made it I’ve done nothing but continue to prove that I belong here. What reason do I have to be insecure?

(Minerva remains silent for a moment as she slowly paces around the ring, looking towards the fans in the crowd. She just shrugs her shoulders, as if answering her own question, before continuing to speak.)

Minerva: Rex can believe whatever he wants to believe. This won’t be the first time I’ve faced an opponent who was wrong about me, or made assumptions they’ll be forced to regret soon enough, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. As long as I’m in EAW I’m aware that I won’t be on everyone’s good side, but that hasn’t stopped me before. It didn’t stop me back at Pain for Pride, and it definitely won’t stop me from defeating Rex McAllister.

(The fans continue to cheer, but as Minerva seems to be finished speaking, ‘Stronger (salü remix)’ by The Score hits. This causes another explosion of cheers to come from the crowd, as the fans seem even more excited than they already were. Rex McAllister begins to walk out to the stage, and both Elitists are staring at each other as he begins walking down the ramp. Rex is holding a microphone in his hand, but he doesn’t speak just yet.)

Persephone: YESSSSS!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOO GO REXYYYYYY!!!!!! KILL HER KILL HER KILL HER KILL HER!!!!!!

James Peters: Rex is making his way down the ramp now, and clearly he’s here to respond to Minerva, but I’m not so sure if these two should be anywhere near each other right now. They’ve already done enough to each other.

Rich Russillo: Yeah, things can definitely get out of hand with them in the same ring as each other. After all, things have broken out even when they weren’t in the ring with each other! There’s only a week left until Bloodsport, hopefully they can make it there in one piece.

Persephone: Who cares if Minerva makes it healthy? The only one that matters here is Rex. Minerva can die, and she WILL die if she messes with Rex again.

(Rex enters the ring, and once both Elitists are in the ring with each other, there’s a brief staredown between the two of them. There’s clearly tension in the ring, and the fans only continue cheering throughout it all as Rex begins to speak.)

Rex McAllister: Minerva, you know it won’t be as easy as simply defeating me. I know how often people allow their confidence to get the better of them and I usually do my best to make sure I don’t fall down that same road of underestimating what my opponents are capable of, but you need to understand exactly who you’re dealing with. We may not agree with each other when it comes to who you are as a person but I know exactly who you are as a wrestler. Two time World Champion. Former National Elite Champion. One half of the longest reigning Unified Tag Team Champions. You have an incredible resume, and yet you’ve spent the past month doing whatever you could to send a message to me as if you still have more to prove. I have made my beliefs clear and I’m not going to expect you to agree with them, but whether this is all happening out of insecurity or out of your desire to simply keep moving forward, this was never how you needed to deliver your message.

Rex McAllister: I’ve been working hard since I returned to full-time competition, and I’m sure anyone that’s familiar with me knows that shouldn’t come as a surprise. I’ve always cared about this sport and since I was ready to start doing this at the highest level again, I made sure I’d be able to deliver. I’ve made my intentions clear enough, and I’ve done what I could to make sure that I am the best version of myself that I could possibly be. I’m at the top of my game right now Minerva, and I don’t even have to rely on the same tactics that you do. I don’t need to turn any of this into some sort of game, or a question asking who will strike first. All I need to do is enter the ring and give every match my all, because that’s what each and every single one of the people in this company sign up for. If I’m going to prove a point I’ll do it once it’s time to wrestle. I don’t need to throw you into the electrical equipment, and I don’t need to try choking you out right after a match.

(The fans cheer, and Minerva just remains silent, a bit amused as Rex continues.)

Rex McAllister: At Bloodsport, you and I will face each other in Razorwire Hell. Stipulation aside, this is just a match with the same goal as any other. We will see who the better Elitist is at Bloodsport, and by the time our match is over, I will have proven that it was me, and that’s good enough as far as I’m concerned. It should’ve been good enough for you too, but we know how that turned out. You decided that you just had to keep pushing and pushing, expecting all this not to blow up in your face.

Minerva: What were you expecting, exactly?

Rex McAllister: I was expecting you to act like the future Hall of Famer you clearly are. I was expecting someone that’s been through as much as you to know that not every match needs to be so personal. I was expecting more from you Minerva, but clearly this is the kind of Elitist you are. The kind that feels the need to take Elitists to their mental limits before ever even thinking about their physical limits. The kind that thinks they have to send some kind of message by attacking their opponents every other week. It’s disappointing.

(There’s a small moment of silence between the two Elitists, but the fans are heard cheering throughout all of this. Both Minerva and Rex have become fan favorites throughout their time in EAW, and despite how heated things have become between them, the fans still show support for both Elitists. After a little while, it’s Minerva that begins to speak.)

Minerva: I don’t know what to tell you Rex, because I definitely won’t apologize for joining what I’m sure is a very long list of people who’ve “disappointed you”. You’ve been here long enough. You were already a main eventer in this company when I was just making a name for myself. You know exactly how this place works, so you of all people shouldn’t be surprised that I simply chose NOT to take any of this lightly. If you were truly prepared for this match you would’ve expected each of my actions. You would’ve expected each of my attacks, but you haven’t. Instead you were laid out, you were left staring at the lights, and you were even injured.

Rex McAlister: This is what you call taking things seriously? You started this mess back when the season began. I had just made my return to being a full-time member of the Voltage roster, and you showed your face solely for the sake of causing trouble. This has been going on for an entire month now, and none of it was necessary. You know it’s not necessary, but you keep forcing things to break down into a brawl. You keep forcing us to fight and tear each other apart before Bloodsport. You-

Minerva: I’m doing what *I* think is necessary, and that’s all that matters to me. Not your feelings, not even your well-being. As long as you’re able to make it to Bloodsport and give me the match you promised, I don’t care what happens to you because we are opponents. We are enemies right now, and maybe you should try accepting that rather than complaining because I didn’t see the need for all the smiles and handshakes.

Rex McAllister: This is exactly the kind of mindset that’s going to lead you to failure. You’ve put me through a lot last week, but it’ll all only be a fraction of what happens once this all backfires just like I warned you it would.

Minerva: What will happen, Rex? What will you do? Ask me to stop hurting you? Ask for more friendly competition? This is the wrong place for that, and a former face of Voltage should know that. If you can’t handle being thrown in the electrical equipment, or a bit of razorwire, you won’t like Bloodsport one bit.

(By this point, Minerva and Rex are face to face as Minerva continues.)

Minerva: In fact, you might not even make it out of-

James Peters: WAIT A MINUTE, REX HAD ENOUGH!!!! REX HAD ENOUGH AND HE JUST HIT MINERVA WITH HIS MICROPHONE BEFORE DROPPING DOWN AND IMMEDIATELY GOING ON THE OFFENSIVE, THROWING LEFTS AND RIGHTS AT THE FORMER EAW WORLD CHAMPION!!!!

Rich Russillo: MINERVA ROLLS OVER AND BEGINS PUNCHING REX, LANDING A FEW NASTY SHOTS TO THE JAW, BUT REX IS ABLE TO TURN MINERVA OVER, ONCE AGAIN GAINING CONTROL!

James Peters: MINERVA PUSHES REX OFF OF HER BEFORE STUMBLING BACK TO HER FEET- AND REX SENDS BOTH MINERVA AND HIMSELF OUT OF THE RING WITH A CLOTHESLINE!!!! REX PUT SO MUCH FORCE INTO THAT CLOTHESLINE THAT HE FELL OVER THE TOP ROPE AS WELL, AND IT JUST GOES TO SHOW THAT HE’S FED UP WITH EVERYTHING HE’S HAD TO DEAL WITH!!!

Persephone: :blessed: I TOLD YOU!!!! I TOLD YOU THAT REXY WOULD KILL HER IF SHE MESSED WITH HIM AGAIN! SHE SHOULD’VE KEPT HER MOUTH SHUT!!!!

Rich Russillo: Both Elitists get back to their feet- AND MINERVA RUNS INTO REX MCALLISTER, SENDING REX BACK FIRST INTO THE APRON!!!! Both Elitists drop to ringside floor, and I guess we shouldn’t have been surprised that things turned out like this!

James Peters: Minerva is the first to start getting back up, and now she grabs Rex before-

Rich Russillo: WHAT THE HELL!? REX JUST HIT MINERVA WITH A RAZORWIRE WRAPPED BASEBALL BAT!!!! MINERVA JUST GOT HIT IN THE MIDSECTION, AND SHE IMMEDIATELY DROPS TO A KNEE! Rex now, RUNNING IN AND PUSHING THE RAZORWIRE BAT AGAINST HER THROAT, CAUSING MINERVA TO BACK UP AGAINST THE BARRICADE AS SHE’S BEING CHOKED BY THE BASEBALL BAT! REX REPAYING MINERVA FOR WHAT HAPPENED FOLLOWING THE MATCH AGAINST DRAKE KING- BUT MINERVA LANDS A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION!

James Peters: Rex stumbles backwards as Minerva takes a second to grab at her throat after basically being choked by razorwire, AND NOW MINERVA RUNS IN BEFORE LOOKING FOR THE DEVIL’S TOUCH- BUT REX AVOIDS IT BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A BASEBALL BAT SHOT TO THE BACK!!! YOU CAN SEE BLOOD SLOWLY STARTING TO POUR FROM MINERVA’S BODY, AND NOW REX DROPS HER WITH A SHOT TO THE HEAD!!!!!!

(Rex McAllister, beyond frustrated at this point, stands over Minerva with the razorwire wrapped baseball bat in his hand. He takes a second, thinking about everything Minerva has done over the past month, before beginning to hold the bat with both hands.)

James Peters: Wait a minute-

(*CRACK!*)

Persephone: :blessed: REXY JUST SMASHED THE BASEBALL BAT ONTO HER HEAD!!! I TOLD YOU WHAT WOULD HAPPEN!!! SHE GOT WHAT SHE DESERVED!!!!

Rich Russillo: What a terrifying shot with the baseball bat. While that was horrific, I can’t help but feel Rex was pushed to this point by Minerva. After all, she did try to strike first when this all began, and when that failed… Well we remember what happened.

James Peters: That’s may be true, but you know Minerva will come back from this with an even stronger fire lit under her. We know how resilient she already is, and at Bloodsport we’ll be getting another showcase of just how dangerous both her and Rex can be.

(Rex McAllister begins to slowly walk away from the area as a pool of blood begins to form around Minerva’s head. Members of the medical team and security quickly run down the ramp, and Rex just walks past them, heading up the ramp as the officials all rush to check on Minerva. As one final shot is shown with Minerva down on the mat, Voltage fades to black.)
