Voltage 4/2/23

Voltage 4/2/23

(EAW intro plays)

(Sunday Night Voltage opens up to a recap of last week’s show.)

(Drake King comes out first to talk about Grand Rampage and that he is joining it again like he did the year that he won it on the same mission. Methuselah interrupts him, clapping him and saying that is why he shook Drake’s hand, because he admires his will to want to change the world. There are a lot of questions up in the air about these two, but that is when Yhwach O’Hara interrupts their conversation and keeps it straight, he wants a match against Methuselah at Grand Rampage after his interference at Tempest, which of course, Methuselah accepts. Mercer McKay beats Eli Cardiff. The #DisneyBesties promise they will bounce back from their losses and that Ronan Malosi’s career will come to an end by their hands. Molly Waters sits down with Hikari Kanno and talks about the future of the Hardcore Championship. Miku Sakai defeats Korey Gaines. Usagi Senshi and TLA declare themselves for the Grand Rampage match. TLA is able to defeat Lucas Johnson. Sofia Clarke has an interview with ARIA where she discusses her match at Tempest and her defense against Milli Banks. Sheridan Muller challenges Dr. Bethany Blue for the Universal Women’s Championship at Grand Rampage as Bethany comes out, the two go back and forth before Sheridan tells Bethany she will use her favor from the Brand Warfare match to choose their stipulation for their match. Miku talks about how much she has grown since she has been away and promises she will bounce back, but she is interrupted by a returning James Ranger who challenges her to a match next week, and she accepts. The #DisneyBesties defeat The Ice Aces. Molly Waters lets the people know that after Theron Nikolas’ loss at Tempest, he is planning to join the Grand Rampage match and that he will fight Korey Gaines next week as well. Minerva comes out to call out Samael after what happened in their tag match a few weeks ago and suddenly, the crow Draven appears to deliver a note to Minerva and a video on the tron starts playing with a mysterious man appearing on the screen with a body burning in the background and the note saying “Be careful what you wish for”. Daryl Kinkade is able to defeat Ronan Malosi and after the match, Myles comes out to run down Daryl and asks if he is truly up for this kind of match, which Daryl responds by attacking Myles and laying him out to stand tall as the recap comes to an end.)

(Sunday Night Voltage transitions to show a shot of the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. An edited version of ‘33rd Blakk Glass’ by ZilaKami & SosMula is played through the speakers while spotlights are panning around and golden pyro is shooting out from the stage. The Voltage crowd cheers loudly while the shot then goes over to show the broadcasting team of Rich Russillo, James Peters, and Persephone.)

Rich Russillo: Welcome everyone…TO SUNDAY NIGHT VOLTAGE!!! We are two weeks away from Grand Rampage, in the middle of the road to Pain for Pride Season! And to show how serious this is getting, we have an absolutely stacked show for you tonight!

James Peters: Let’s run through it, a hot start to kick off the show, Sheridan Muller versus Daryl Kinkade in a Challenger versus Challenger Showcase match, Miku Sakai versus the returning James Ranger, along with a Grand Rampage Preview Match with Korey Gaines going up against Theron Nikolas!

Rich Russillo: And the other half is even crazier, the Hardcore Champion Hikari Kanno up against Candice Blair, Usagi Senshi and TLA against the new unlikely alliance of Drake King and Methuselah, and finally, our main event, Champion versus Champion Showcase, Universal Women’s Champion Dr. Bethany Blue against EAW Champion Myles, an exciting show you can’t miss tonight!

Persephone: I hope I can miss it- I mean…can not! Sorry, slip of the tongue, it is the most exciting season of wrestling here in EAW because leading up to Pain for Pride, we will see many…many, many, many…matchups that I will definitely enjoy a lot! So without wasting time, let’s get right on with the show!

James Peters: Uhhh hang on. Wait one second…

(The broadcast booth falls silent as it is clear something is coming through the headsets.)

James Peters: Uhhh ladies and gentlemen, as you know we have a tag team match scheduled for later on in the show that has Usagi and TLA teaming up to take on Drake and Methuselah. But we are being told that due to a family situation, Methuselah has not yet arrived at the arena…

Persephone: :cmon: A family situation?

Rich Russillo: I am sure we will hear more details soon, but as of right now, Methuselah is not at Voltage…

(Sunday Night Voltage then breaks away from the commentary booth, cutting off the conversation about the missing Methuselah, to once again show a wide shot of the arena, with the crowd giving a mixed reaction upon hearing ‘Somebody Get Me A Doctor’ by Van Halen blast through the speakers. The camera goes to the stage, revealing the Universal Women’s Champion Dr. Bethany Blue as she is seen beginning to make her way out from the backstage area. She has her ring gear on, seeing as she has a match later tonight in the main event, with her title around her waist as she unbuckles it and brings it into her hands. She takes a moment to scan around, taking in the atmosphere for a moment, before then proceeding to raise her title in the air while pyro is seen shooting out in a beautiful array behind her. Once the display is done, she rests the title on her shoulder before then beginning to make her way down the ramp and toward the ring from there.)

Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… the EAW UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!! DR. BETHANY BLUE!!!!!!!!!! M!!!!!!!!!! D!!!!!!!!!!

Rich Russillo: Well last week we found out what’s next on the docket for the Universal Women’s Champion after her title defense against Harper Lee at the Tempest Marquee Event. It isn’t just any other title defense down the line for her, it’s one that she said herself that she has been waiting a long time for. A match against Sheridan Muller, the one to settle the score, the one for the Universal Women’s Championship.

James Peters: We also heard Sheridan say alongside the challenge that was put out that she cashed in her Brand Warfare favor to Captain Charisma in order to determine the stipulation to their match. She told Bethany that she’s just going to have to wait to find out what it is, but I don’t think she plans to wait much longer. She’s coming out to the ring to kick off the show and it seems like she wants to hear what it is from Sheridan right here and right now! The question is will Sheridan give that to her?

Persephone: Well if she doesn’t, it would certainly be a waste of everyone’s time for her to be out here, right? So she better open her mouth or else she’s going to have at least one unhappy customer out of this, and it’s me.

(Bethany makes her way up the steel steps and onto the apron, entering through the ropes before getting a microphone from the timekeeper’s area. She makes her way over to the center of the ring while ‘Somebody Get Me A Doctor’ begins to come to a close. She begins to pace around, taking a moment before looking up at the Newark crowd and beginning to speak.)

Dr. Bethany Blue: Well, I think it’s easy to say that I got more than what I bargained for on Voltage, but that’s different from saying that it was unexpected as well. Quite frankly, I knew that Sheridan was going to end up being my next challenger, that she would strike given she had the opportunity to. And given our history with each other, I think it’s been known for quite some time now that it was only going to be a matter of time before we had our third match to finally settle the score. But that’s not all, was it? It always has to be something else, something more, and I’ve drawn a conclusion as to why Sheridan conducted things the way that she did last week. How she came to the ring, called me out, looked me in the eyes, and hightailed it out of there while dangling this mystery stipulation above my head. It’s because she’s fearful, through all that bravado she’s fearful of what I’m capable of against her, and that’s why she’s done all she can, pulled all these strings, to get what she wanted out of this match and place it firmly in her favor. Though I could come out here and say that with that being all there is to it, that’s really not why I’m out here tonight. No, I did say she was dangling this stipulation above my head, this favor that she cashed in with Captain Charisma on, and I’m tired of being left in the dark. So I want her to come out here right now and face me, no more running away, no nothing, explain yourself so we can get this over with.

(Bethany lowers her microphone and turns her attention toward the stage, leaning against the ropes and waiting for her challenger to make her way out to the ring. It isn’t long after that ‘Amerika’ by Rammstein is heard playing through the speakers of the arena. The crowd gives a similarly mixed reaction for Sheridan Muller, who is seen making her way out from the backstage area and toward the stage. She already has a microphone in hand as she begins to make her way down the ramp with a serious expression on her face.)

Rich Russillo: Well here comes the challenger, and she does not seem at all happy with Bethany’s comments, calling her a coward and saying that she’s scared.

James Peters: Sheridan is far from that in my opinion, and many Elitists in the past have found that out firsthand. But I am certainly interested to see what this stipulation is going to end up being. It has a lot to live up to, especially with the Fight Pit and Ironwoman match preceding it.

Persephone: Fight Pit? Boring. Ironwoman? Boring. Whatever this is going to end up being? Boring. Save yourselves the trouble viewers at home and don’t watch it!

(Sheridan immediately jumps up onto the apron and enters into the ring, approaching Bethany while ‘Amerika’ begins to come to a close. The two of them have a tense staredown with the crowd beginning to quiet down, but before Sheridan can speak it’s Bethany that’s already beaten her to the punch as she brings her microphone up.)

Dr. Bethany Blue: Spit it out. What’s the stipulation, Sheridan?

(Sheridan thinks for a moment about what she’s going to say, looking over at Bethany before bringing her microphone up and looking to respond.)

Sheridan Muller: At first, it took me some time to think about the best stipulation for this match, that’s taking into consideration the fact that we’ve already been through so much. We’ve been inside of a Fight Pit at Reckless Wiring, and we had a thirty minute Ironwoman match at Wicked Games. When I went to Captain Charisma to cash in my favor to choose the stipulation for our next match, I knew that I needed to choose just the right one.

Dr. Bethany Blue: So you were holding out on me because you couldn’t decide?

Sheridan Muller: Far from the case, what makes you think I wanted to run on your time? I told you that you’ll find out, and that’s what I’m getting to… I decided that the stipulation that I’ve chosen will be a Mixed Martial Arts match.

(The crowd cheers loudly for this, certainly an interesting concept that has rarely if not never been done in this company. Sheridan pauses before continuing.)

Sheridan Muller: Just like in MMA there will be five 5-minute rounds, with the only way to win being by knockout, submission, referee’s stoppage, or, if it comes down to it, the judge’s decision. In doing so, that way there will be nothing that stops us from hurting each other, and there will be no doubt who the better competitor is between the two of us. You thought this was because I wanted to play the cards in my favor, no, I just wanted to make it so that it benefits the both of us, and so that there are no excuses when it’s all said and done and I beat you a second time for the Universal Women’s Championship.

(Bethany is certainly surprised by the stipulation, nodding her head slowly before looking back up at Sheridan.)

Dr. Bethany Blue: Can’t say I expected that, but that’s fine by me. You want our match to be contested under Mixed Martial Arts rules? Then you got it, I’ll be more than happy to because I know regardless of the scenario I’m better than you by a mile.

Sheridan Muller: Excellent, but my question to you now is whether or not I can trust you not to interfere in my match against Daryl Kinkade tonight.

Dr. Bethany Blue: Who do you take me to be, Sheridan? I won’t interfere in your match as long as you agree to not mess with mine.

(Sheridan doesn’t say anything, responding by holding out her hand and hoping to have a handshake agreement. This is by no means sincere though, as it’s clear that there’s arrogance just exuding out of her that Bethany sees as well. Instead of responding to the handshake… she slaps away the hand.)

(Sheridan closes her eyes and takes a few deep breaths before looking up to see Bethany raising her title in the air. The crowd cheers loudly for this while Bethany turns and begins to make her way out of the ring, with Sheridan allowing her to do so, realizing that she needs to preserve herself for this match. ‘Somebody Get Me A Doctor’ begins to play up once again while Bethany makes her way up the ramp and takes her leave, with Sheridan taking off her entrance gear and beginning to warm up in her corner.)

(Commercial for the Winnie the Pooh horror movie featuring Jon Kelton.)

(Sheridan can be seen stretching in the ring, preparing for her match before the camera pans over to Bella Braxton ringside)

Bella Braxton: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR…ONE FALL!!

Crowd: ONE FALL!!

Bella Braxton: Already in the ring! Hailing out of München, Deutschland, weighing in at 135 pounds…SHE IS GERMAN EFFICIENCY…SHERIDAN MÜLLER!!!

(Sheridan is shadow boxing in the ring, laser focused as ‘Kamikaze’ by RedHook plays, and an equally focused Daryl Kinkade steps onto the stage area, receiving a mixed reaction from fans, mostly leaning towards positive. Daryl takes a moment to bask in the reaction before marching down to the ring, never taking his eyes off Müller.)

Bella Braxton: And her opponent! Hailing out of Norwich, England, weighing in at 225 pounds…HE IS THE KINK OF ELITE…DARYL KINKADE!!

James Peters: Before we continue, I’d just like to give an update on the status of Methuselah. As of right now, he unfortunately is still not at the arena.

Rich Russillo: We’ll be sure to continue giving updates throughout the night. Hopefully he’s able to make it tonight.

James Peters: As for the upcoming match… Both competitors appear laser focused, which is the formula for a combustible match between them.

Persephone: It shall be a… spectacle.

Rich Russillo: We’re familiar with both their MOs at this point, they’re going to leave it all in the ring, because neither Sheridan or Daryl take a match anything less than serious.

James Peters: They’re typically focused going into one, which is good, leaves you little room to underestimate an opponent. I’m sure they’re highly aware of each other’s skill level anyways, having shared a team with one another at Territorial Invasion.

(Daryl’s theme fades out as he hands his jacket off, and stares down Sheridan in the opposite corner.)

(DING! DING! DING!)

James Peters: The bell has rung, and we are underway with our challenger versus challenger showcase. The crowd is electric right now, and I’m sure they’re not the only ones with interest in this match. Myles must have his eyes glued to the TV screen, along with Bethany Blue. Winning this match gives either challenger some much needed momentum heading into Grand Rampage.

Rich Russillo: Granted, neither are particularly lacking in momentum. Daryl Kinkade picked up a victory over Ronan Malosi last week, who gave him a little warm up for his match against Myles. I mean, think about it. Both competitors can be hard hitting, have an overwhelming amount of power at times, and can move pretty fast. Ronan, especially for his size.

Persephone: Are you captain of Ronan Malosi’s fan club now?

Rich Russillo: No, but I am drawing some legitimate comparisons. Not to say Ronan is quite on the level of Myles yet, given Myles is our World Champion, and a multiple time champion in EAW at that. He’s gonna be a harder obstacle to overcome for Daryl.

James Peters: Sheridan toppled a multiple time champion, not to mention, EAW Hall of Famer, TLA, at Tempest, and is riding high off that victory, cashing in her favor she earned back at Territorial Invasion last week. Both competitors have big things to look forward to at Grand Rampage, and I’d say they stand an equal chance of getting the job done there as well. Last week, Daryl did lay out Myles to close the show. If he can do that at Grand Rampage, he’ll be representing our brand as World Champion.

Rich Russillo: Well, let’s see if he can lay out Sheridan Müller first.

James Peters: Or will it be the other way around as both competitors circle one another.

Rich Russillo: A collar and elbow tie-up takes place in the center of the ring. Daryl gains control early by wringing the arm of Müller, who counters with an arm wringer of her own. Sheridan has firm control of the wrist, and yanks the arm of Daryl a few times before transitioning into a fireman’s carry takedown! Sheridan pounces on top of Daryl for a grounded side headlock, but Daryl quickly escapes with a headscissors, wrapping both legs around, well, the head of Sheridan Müller.

James Peters: Sheridan knows she has to act fast, and goes into a front neck bridge, but almost immediately follows that up by going into a reverse neck bridge, rolling Daryl over onto his belly. Müller steamrolls over a prone Kinkade, and transitions right into a grounded front facelock. Daryl powers to a knee, and twirls out of the hold, transitioning into a grounded hammerlock on Sheridan.

Rich Russillo: Sheridan powers to her feet, still trapped in that hammerlock by Daryl, and tries fighting her way out of it with back elbows, which manage to stun Daryl briefly, so Sheridan can slip behind him for a hammerlock of her own. Daryl circles around while trapped in the hammerlock, slowly building momentum before running full steam ahead toward the ropes, and dropping down, breaking the hold, and causing Sheridan to go tumbling out through the middle rope!

James Peters: Daryl gets to his feet in the ring, making sure he still has feeling, and complete mobility in his arm, which he appears to. Daryl isn’t going after Sheridan on the outside, and instead, allows her the opportunity to re-enter the ring. Sheridan is on all fours, and pounds the mat in frustration, having gotten outsmarted there by Kinkade. But if she’s angry, Sheridan can use that as a motivator for when she locks horns with Daryl again.

Persephone: “Thankfully,” she isn’t going to make us wait, and slowly slides back in the ring.

Rich Russillo: Both competitors circle one another for a second time, and a collar and elbow takes place in the center of the ring. Sheridan gets the advantage first with a standing side headlock, and tightens her hold over Kinkade, which slows him down a bit. Eventually, Daryl bounces Müller off the ropes to escape, but it won’t be that easy for Kinkade as Sheridan keeps the side headlock tacked on, skidding down to a seated position, and bringing Daryl with her, forcing him down to all fours.

James Peters: Sheridan successfully halted his momentum there, but Daryl looks to build it again, powering back to his feet. Kinkade loosens Sheridan’s hold over him with forearms to the rib cage, and shoves Müller toward the ropes. Daryl anticipates her to come rebounding back, but Sheridan hooks both arms on the top rope, halting her momentum, and saving her skin in the process. Who knows what Daryl Kinkade had in store there?

Rich Russillo: Stalemate between both competitors, who circle each other for a third time. Daryl went in for another collar and elbow tie-up, but Sheridan faked him out, delivering a kick to the gut that doubles him over, and Müller connects with a forearm strike to the face! Knife edge chop to the chest by Sheridan, followed by another knife edge chop to the chest! Daryl is reeling, and gets grabbed in a standing side headlock by Müller.

James Peters: Daryl bounces Sheridan off the ropes to escape, and gets taken down with a shoulder tackle! The element of surprise might’ve played a hand in actually dropping Kinkade. Sheridan runs off the ropes beside him, and Daryl rolls over to his belly, forcing Müller to hop over him, so she avoids tripping. Daryl pops back to his feet, and leapfrogs over Sheridan, who halts her momentum behind him.

Rich Russillo: Daryl gets shoved toward the ropes, and Sheridan ducks down, perhaps signaling for a back body drop. BUT DARYL AVOIDS WHATEVER SHE HAD PLANNED WITH A SUNSET FLIP! However, Sheridan drops down, seating herself on Daryl’s chest, and hooking both legs for a double leg cradle!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

James Peters: DARYL SHIFTS THE MOMENTUM FOR A DOUBLE LEG CRADLE OF HIS OWN, PINNING SHERIDAN’S SHOULDERS DOWN TO THE MAT!

ONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

James Peters: SHERIDAN REVERSES, GOING BACK INTO HER PREVIOUS CRADLE!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

James Peters: DARYL REVERSES, ATTEMPTING TO GO BACK INTO HIS DOUBLE LEG CRADLE! BUT SHERIDAN ROLLS THROUGH TO A KNEE, AND FLOATS OVER A SEATED KINKADE FOR A JACKKNIFE COVER!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

James Peters: DARYL BRIDGES UP, AND BACKSLIDES SHERIDAN DOWN TO THE CANVAS!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Rich Russillo: BOTH COMPETITORS SCRAMBLE BACK TO THEIR FEET, AND SHERIDAN CHARGES INTO A SIDE HEADLOCK TAKEDOWN BY DARYL, GROUNDING MÜLLER!

Persephone: What a sequence! A shame none of them actually finished the match. 🙂

James Peters: Daryl tightens the side headlock over Sheridan Müller, who rolls Kinkade onto both shoulders for a pin!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

James Peters: Kickout! Daryl goes right back into position, having Sheridan grounded with that side headlock. I should’ve said temporarily, because she’s powering back to her feet, and bounces Daryl off the ropes to escape. We see a role reversal between the two as Daryl rebounds off the ropes, knocking Sheridan down with a shoulder tackle!

Rich Russillo: Daryl runs off the ropes, and Sheridan rolls over to her belly. Daryl instantly brings his momentum to a halt, and drops down, trapping Sheridan in a grounded side headlock. Müller is on all fours, and is currently in the midst of being worn down by Kinkade. However, Müller manages to power back to her feet, and rebounds Daryl off the ropes!

James Peters: OOH! SHERIDAN RAN RIGHT INTO HIM WITH A BACK ELBOW! Something tells me Sheridan has had enough of chain wrestling with Kinkade, and mounts him with repeated right hands, putting an exclamation point on the attack with a stomp to the face!

Rich Russillo: Sheridan pulls Daryl back to his feet, and sends him up and over the top rope! Müller takes a moment to catch her breath before sticking her head out through the middle rope, grabbing hold of Daryl’s head. Daryl pulled himself back to a knee using assistance from the apron, and is getting pulled up on said apron by Sheridan Müller, who hooks Daryl up for a SUPLEX over the top rope, and back inside the ring! Sheridan hooks the leg for a cover!

ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Persephone: Kickout.

James Peters: Sheridan doesn’t seem very surprised at Daryl getting the shoulder up, probably thought the cover was worth a shot. Regardless, Daryl gets brought back to his feet, and tries sending Daryl up and over the top rope again, BUT DARYL HANGS ON, AND BEGINS SKINNING THE CAT!

Rich Russillo: Sheridan realizes this, and marches toward Daryl, BUT GRABBED IN A HEADSCISSORS THAT SENDS HER UP AND OVER THE TOP ROPE, WIPING HER OUT RINGSIDE IN FRONT OF OUR ANNOUNCE TABLE AREA! Now, Daryl skins the cat back inside the ring, and takes a moment to bask in the thunderous reaction from our fans in New Jersey, who are in awe of the excellent core strength possessed by Kinkade.

James Peters: Daryl notices that Sheridan is slowly getting back to her feet, and slides outside the ring, looking to keep the pressure on with a KNIFE EDGE CHOP TO THE CHEST! Sheridan staggers back against the apron, wincing in severe pain, and Daryl approaches. SHERIDAN CATCHES HIM OFF GUARD WITH A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION, POSSIBLY HAVING BAITED HIM IN!

Rich Russillo: Sheridan grabs the back of Daryl’s neck, and tries slamming him face first on the steel ringpost, BUT DARYL SHIFTS THE MOMENTUM AT THE LAST SECOND, GOING TO BOUNCE SHERIDAN OFF THE RINGPOST INSTEAD! BUT SHE GETS HER HANDS IN FRONT TO BLOCK IT, AND KNOCKS DARYL BACK A BIT WITH A BACK ELBOW STRIKE TO THE JAW!

James Peters: Sheridan turns around, and realizes her opponent is stunned, so charges in with a clothesline attempt! DARYL DUCKS UNDERNEATH, AND SCORES WITH ANOTHER KNIFE EDGE CHOP TO THE CHEST! KINKADE GOES FOR A WILD SWING, BUT SHERIDAN DUCKS UNDERNEATH IT, AND WRAPS HER ARMS AROUND THE WAIST OF KINKADE! SHERPLEX! SHERIDAN MÜLLER WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX ON OUR ANNOUNCE TABLE COVER!

Persephone: :krabs: Heads up next time!

Rich Russillo: Daryl rolls behind our announce table, clutching the back of his head. Meanwhile, Sheridan rolls back inside the ring, and lies down, catching her breath after being on the receiving end of multiple attacks by Kinkade.

James Peters: Sheridan sits herself in the corner, still catching her breath as the referee begins counting.

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

James Peters: Sheridan forces the referee to restart his count as she slides out underneath the bottom rope, and goes behind our announce desk to retrieve a still downed Daryl Kinkade, rolling him back inside the ring. It’s possible he still hasn’t recovered from that german suplex, and Sheridan looks to see for herself, hooking the leg for a cover!

ONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THH-

Rich Russillo: Kickout! Perhaps if Daryl weren’t allowed the recovery window he got, he wouldn’t have been able to kickout. But Daryl knows he’s in trouble at the moment, and rolls away from Müller, hoping to create a bit of space and separation for himself. Unfortunately, Sheridan caught up to Daryl while he was crawling away, and pulled him back to a vertical base. …DOUBLE UNDERHOOK SUPLEX PLANTS DARYL KINKADE!

James Peters: Sheridan hooks the leg for a cover!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

James Peters: Kickout! Daryl gets to all fours, and Sheridan grabs a handful of hair, directing Daryl towards the corner, which she seats him in. Sheridan presses her boot up against the jaw of Kinkade, and holds it there as the referee begins his count of five.

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Rich Russillo: Sheridan finally relents, removing her boot off the jaw of Kinkade, having gotten full use out of her four seconds. The referee reprimands Sheridan for not listening, but she’s right back on the attack with repeated stomps in the corner. The referee pulls Sheridan away from Daryl, but she pushes past him, and goes right back on the attack.

James Peters: Sheridan pulls Daryl back to his feet in the corner, and tags him with right hand! BUT DARYL RETURNS FIRE WITH ONE OF HIS OWN! SHERIDAN FIRES BACK! DARYL RETORTS! SHERIDAN WITH A RIGHT! DARYL WITH A RIGHT! ANOTHER! AND ANOTHER! DARYL IS FIGHTING HIS WAY OUT OF THE CO- OOH! I SPOKE TO SOON AS SHERIDAN CATCHES THE ARM, AND CONNECTS WITH A SIDE SLAM IN THE CENTER OF THE RING! COVER IS MADE!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHHH-

Rich Russillo: SHOULDER UP!

Persephone: Which means the match continues on.

Rich Russillo: Sheridan Müller brings Daryl back to his feet, and scores with a snap suplex! Again, the cover is made as Sheridan floats over!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Rich Russillo: Daryl got the shoulder up quicker this time, and sits himself up. Sheridan transitions into a rear chinlock, and continues to further wear down her opponent. I don’t think Daryl has been quite the same ever since being on the receiving end of that german suplex on our announce table, which had to have taken a mighty toll on him.

James Peters: The crowd is getting behind Daryl, who powers back to his feet, and loosens the grip of Sheridan with elbows to the rib cage. DARYL FINALLY MANAGES TO BREAK FREE COMPLETELY WITH A BACK SUPLEX! Both Daryl and Sheridan Müller are down, and both competitors start to slowly rise to their feet at the same time. Sheridan is favoring her back, but ROCKS DARYL WITH A RIGHT HAND! DARYL RETURNS FIRE WITH ONE OF HIS OWN! SHERIDAN! DARYL! SHERIDAN! DARYL! FOLLOWED BY A KNIFE EDGE CHOP FROM KINKADE, BACKING SHERIDAN UP AGAINST THE ROPES!

Rich Russillo: EUROPEAN UPPERCUT LANDS, AND JACKS THE JAW OF MÜLLER, WHOS STILL LEANED UP AGAINST THE ROPES, WHICH SHE GETS WHIPPED OFF BY KINKADE! NO! SHERIDAN REVERSES, AND SENDS DARYL TO THE ROPES INSTEAD! BIG MISTAKE AS DARYL LANDS THE HANDSPRING ROUNDHOUSE!

Persephone: 🤯

James Peters: DARYL GETS TO HIS FEET, ALBEIT BARELY, AND STUMBLES INTO THE CORNER! SHERIDAN IS SPRAWLED ON THE CANVAS, AND DARYL BUILDS MOMENTUM FOR A RUNNING SHOOTING STAR PRESS! BUT HE ISNT DONE THERE, AND PULLS SHERIDAN BACK TO HER FEET, PLACING HER IN A FRONT FACELOCK, AND SPIKING MÜLLER ON HER HEAD WITH THE MONKĒ FLIP!

Rich Russillo: FRONT FLIP DDT! Daryl gets to his wobbly legs, and signals to the fans that its over. He might be right as Sheridan Müller appears out of it.

Persephone: Will she stay out of it? 🤞

James Peters: DARYL PULLS SHERIDAN BACK UP, AND PLACES HER IN A FRONT FACELOCK AGAIN FOR A BEAUTIFUL LIE! BUT SHERIDAN TWIRLS OUT OF IT, AND DELIVERS WITH A JUMPING KNEE STRIKE! DARYL GOES DOWN, AND SHERIDAN QUICKLY MELTS INTO THE COVER, HOOKING THE LEG!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHHH-

James Peters: DARYL KICKS OUT! Sheridan gets to her feet, and yells at Daryl to get up! She appears have gotten a second wind here, tasting victory against Kinkade coming up as he slowly gets back to his feet, unbeknownst that Sheridan is standing right behind him. Daryl is very wobbly legs, and staggers back into a SHERPLEX!

Rich Russillo: DARYL! DARYL BACKFLIPPED OUT OF IT, LANDING ON HIS FEET! SHERIDAN RUSHES TO A KNEE, SHOCKED AT DARYL PULLING THAT OFF, BUT GETS CAUGHT WITH A SHINING WIZARD! DARYL CRAWLS INTO THE COVER!

ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRR-

Rich Russillo: STILL, SHERIDAN KICKS OUT!

James Peters: Daryl sits up, and starts thinking about what his next move will be. He has Sheridan on the brink of defeat, and all he has to do is seal the deal. Daryl starts rising to his feet, and grabs a handful of Sheridan’s hair, bringing her along with him. KICK TO THE GUT BY KINKADE, WHO PLACES SHERIDAN IN A FRONT FACELOCK! NOTICE THE LOOK IN HIS EYES, ONE OF INTENSITY, AND ONE WE HAVENT SEEN IN THE FACE MATCH THUS FAR!

Rich Russillo: HE IS LOOKING TO END THIS! …A BEAUTIFUL L- NO! SHERIDAN ESCAPES THE CROSS LEGGED FISHERMAN BUSTER, FLOATING OVER BEHIND KINKADE, AND GRABBING HIM A SLEEPER HOLD! DARYL FLAILS HIS ARMS, REACHING OUT FOR THE ROPES, BUT ITS NO USE AS HES TRAPPED IN THE CENTER OF THE RING!

James Peters: DARYL STARTS MAKING SMALL FOOTSTEPS, ATTEMPTING TO CLOSE THE DISTANCE BETWEEN HIMSELF AND THE ROPES, WHICH HE CONTINUES TO REACH OUT FOR, INCHING CLOSER AND CLOSER WITH EACH STEP HE TAKES!

Rich Russillo: NO! Sheridan pulls Daryl back to the center of the ring, and tightens her hold over him in the sleeper. Daryl goes down to a knee, effectively being worn down by Müller. Matter of fact, it appears that his lights are dimming…

Persephone: No… Daryl’s still in this thing, and rises back to his feet.

James Peters: Daryl is back to inching closer and closer toward the ropes, Sheridan pivots the game plan, AND JACKS DARYL’S JAW WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT THAT KNOCKS HIM BACK AGAINST THE ROPES!

Rich Russillo: SHERIDAN CHARGES IN- BACK BODY DROP OVER THE TOP ROPE BY DARYL! SHERIDAN IS DAZED RINGSIDE, AND KINKADE’S WHEELS START TURNING AS HE RUNS OFF THE ROPES FOR A SUICIDE DIVE! DARYL ISNT DONE, AND SLIDES BACK IN THE RING FOR ANOTHER SUICIDE DIVE! DARYL ISNT DONE YET, AND SLIDES BACK IN THE RING FOR A SASUKE SPECIAL!

James Peters: THREE TIMES! THATS THREE TIMES HES USED SHERIDAN AS A HUMAN CRASHPAD!

Rich Russillo: DARYL ROLLS MÜLLRR BACK INSIDE THE RING, AND SHES DISORIENTED, SLOWLY GETTING BACK TO HER FEET AS DARYL GETS UP ON THE APRON! SHERIDAN TURNS AROUND… SPRINGBOARD BY DARYL!

James Peters: WAIT! SHERIDAN SLIPPED BEHIND KINKADE, AND RIPCORDS HIM FOR A LARIAT! ENDLESS FANTASIES! THE ENDLESS FANTASIES NEARLY TAKES DARYL’S HEADS OFF, AND SHERIDAN HOOKS THE LEG DEEP FOR A COVER! CLEARLY EXHAUSTED AFTER THE WEAR AND TEAR SHES TAKEN!

ONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Bella Braxton: HERES YOUR WINNER…SHERIDAN MÜLLER!!

(Daryl feintly gets his shoulder up after the three count, but its too late. Sheridan Müller has won as ‘Amerika’ by Rammstein blares throughout the arena to mixed reactions from fans, some proud to have witnessed such a great match, others bummed to see Daryl lose. Regardless, Sheridan rises to her feet, and gets her hand raised in victory by the referee.)

James Peters: Superb back and forth match between both challengers here.

Persephone: Not sure superb is the word I’d use, but sure, let’s go with that!

James Peters: I’m sure you’d use phenomenal to describe the match we witnessed, Persephone.

Rich Russillo: Despite Sheridan pulling out a victory, take nothing away from Daryl Kinkade. It was a showcase, an opportunity for both to show what their made of, and Daryl showed what he’s made of, gritting through any offense Sheridan had to give, and being able to come back with offense of his own.

James Peters: Neither champion should use this as an opportunity to underestimate the competition, I’ll tell you that much.

(Sheridan exits through the middle rope, and starts backpedaling up the ramp, raising both fists in victory as the camera fades elsewhere.)

(Promotional ad for Grand Rampage, where former Prescription members Dr. Bethany Blue and Sheridan Müller face off in a MMA Rules match.)

(Sunday Night Voltage fades to show the backstage area, with Sofia Clarke standing by as she stood there with her usual smile, ready to conduct another interview as she quickly spoke up to the camera.)

Sofia Clarke: Welcome back to Voltage, as always I’m Sofia Clarke and I’m here to conduct an interview with a very special guest. He will be none other than one of the new sensations that have looked to make their mark here on Voltage, and has made sure to leave people thinking he is a wrestler with lots of potential or even an outright monster. Let me welcome at this time… Mercer McKay!!

(The crowd could be heard booing as Mercer’s name was announced by Sofia and the 6’6 giant of a man slowly walked into the camera and towered right over her. He didn’t have a match tonight and he dressed up for the interview, dressed in a casual suit as he kept his head straight to the camera with a normal expression on his face. He then turned over to see Sofia back away slightly since she wasn’t expecting him to be that big after all, as Mercer surprisingly spoke up in a calm tone.)

Mercer McKay: Why are you backing away? I don’t hurt someone unless I have a good reason for it, besides, someone has to conduct the interview after all.

(Sofia nodded slowly and she approached Mercer as she took a deep breath and looked him over.)

Sofia Clarke: I…guess it is a pleasure to meet you, Mercer. You really dressed up fancy for the interview, didn’t you?

Mercer McKay: Well, as they say, you dress up for the job that you want.

Sofia Clarke: Like the job of an accountant?

Mercer McKay: More like the job of an undertaker.

(It seems that was an attempt at a joke on Mercer’s part, but Sofia didn’t really take it that way. She simply tried to relax and focus on asking the questions as she cleared her throat and began speaking up.)

Sofia Clarke: Alright, let’s not waste any more time, let’s start with the questions. So to recap what happened last week, you had a match against Eli Cardiff where you attacked him, laid him out, and used barbed wire to cut his face and injure him, what were you trying to say by sending that kind of message?

(Mercer doesn’t get angry or anything, he just lets out a sigh as he begins speaking down onto the microphone.)

Mercer McKay: That man was not ready, he was on a path to facing his demons and the demons won, it isn’t my fault that he was clearly not prepared for the match that we had last week. He stayed completely silent when it came to it and considering I was in a horrible mood leading up to that match, having to face that kind of opponent and just get a win handed to me on a silver plate? I was disgusted about being given that, so I sent that man away so he could repent and think about what kind of wrestler he is, to cover up those scars I made of failure like a coward or embrace them and actually become a better wrestler out of the walls of this company. The point is that leading up to that match, I was starving for an opportunity, an actual legit opportunity for me to sink my teeth into because the last few weeks of my career has been seeing red and running straight into brick walls every single time. I am not happy about the hands I am being dealt and the cards that I get, I have started off my career here on a tear, going 3-0 and then just like that, the stars in the sky disappeared without a trace and I felt lost in an eternal abyss because I simply continued to suffer loss, after loss, after loss, that kind of thing frustrates people, even someone like me. Losing in the King of Elite tournament against TLA, losing the opportunity at one of those briefcases, losing against Ayu Megumi, I am not happy about the way things have gone and I am ending all of this at the root of my problems, because things are going to be changing real soon when I make my next decision here.

Mercer McKay: Eli couldn’t handle any of what I had to offer, and he was only the start for what I have planned. There are still a lot more people on the EAW roster and many of them will likely put up more of a fight than Eli did, which is exactly what I want. And my wish to get that is simply right on the horizon because it is fitting that I have this match to fulfill that objective, and what is that match? Simple really, I am inserting myself into the Grand Rampage match. I am going to be entering in that match to get that opportunity at becoming a World Champion, I am going to make sure I enter there and when I do, all the other 29 wrestlers in that match will understand exactly who I am and what kind of threat exists in this place.

Sofia Clarke: Incredibly strong words here from Mercer McKay who declares himself for the Grand Rampage match as well! Any personal objectives that you want to accomplish there aside from winning the match?

Mercer McKay: Actually-

???: I mean, that is obvious, he wants to have the opportunity to punch my face again, doesn’t he?

(It was then that Mercer’s calm mood immediately got ruined by hearing that voice, and it was clear to hear who it was. The camera then turned to the side and it was shown to be Korey Gaines as the crowd booed even louder than when Mercer appeared. Mercer simply put a hand on his face and pinched the bridge of his nose for a moment, incredibly annoyed and angry that this was the man who was interrupting him, as from the social media disputes the two of them had, they don’t like each other at all. Finally, Mercer lowers his hand and looks straight towards Korey Gaines.)

Mercer McKay: Ah, I have seen you got bored of obsessing over a woman more successful than you and you finally decided to step up to me face to face, haven’t you?

Korey Gaines: And you let someone like Ayu Megumi punk you out like that?

Mercer McKay: Someone like Ayu Megumi has more talent and potential than you will ever have here in EAW and you are simply a stain on the wall that everyone is forced to look at, what do you even want?

Korey Gaines: Oh, nothing big man, I was just chilling out over there hearing what you had to say and seeing that you were going to insert yourself now into the Grand Rampage match? That you were going to fulfill your promise of being a threat? Instead you must be dressing up like a comedian because that is the funniest joke I have heard on my life, because well, I am in that match as well, and when we meet face to face with eachother again I am going to laugh directly in your face, because I have been waiting for a while to get my hands on you again. You have made a gigantic mistake declaring yourself for this match because I am not missing out on this opportunity and I have no problem taking you out as well on that match.

Mercer McKay: Did you finally find your big boy pants to put on and say that to my face? Because I put you down before and the next time we go against each other, the result will just end up being the same. I am the man that believes when death comes, it is destiny taking place, if death tells you you are dying that day, you die, but if you are one of those inconceivable idiots who wants to laugh and risk themselves against death, death will come early for those people and you are just another kind of person from that pack. I don’t care how many childish insults you end up throwing my way, you will never be able to cope with the fact that you are a talentless hack, who calls himself the best highflyer and he can be easily swatted away like an annoying gnat, what more do you want to prove? That you are more worthless than dirt? I will never show you any kind of respect and having to talk to you makes my day worse, I suggest you don’t talk any longer or you will have to suffer the consequences of that.

Korey Gaines: You think that I am annoying? Then I will end up showing you how annoying I can get you big bi-

(And it seems Mercer already got fed up by continuing to hear Gaines, he did warn him after all. It didn’t take long before Mercer grabbed Korey right by the throat as he used his size and his strength to suddenly pick him up and throw him straight toward some equipment crates, as he landed, all kinds of props like chairs and tables fell over next to him as Sofia looked over in shock and moved closer to check if Korey was alright.)

Sofia Clarke: Is he alright???

(Mercer simply walked over and looked down at Korey laid out on the ground as he slowly spoke up.)

Mercer McKay: Maybe. Thanks for the interview.

(Mercer then adjusted his vest and turned around, walking away and leaving Korey Gaines on the wreckage. And while Sofia was checking on Korey and he was slowly trying to get up after being tossed away like that, Voltage faded away from backstage.)

(Voltage returns to ringside, and ,狂気の蛇眼 (Snake Eyes Of Madness), plays as James Ranger walks out to a mixed reaction, making his in-ring return after a long while away from EAW. He is accompanied by his wife Joyanne. He takes a deep breath before making his way down the ramp.)

Bella Braxton: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN… THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!

Crowd: ONE FALL!!

Bella Braxton: INTRODUCING FIRST… ACCOMPANIED BY JOYANNE RANGER… FROM LONDON, ENGLAND… WEIGHING IN AT 243 POUNDS… HE IS “THE BLACK MAMBA”… JAAMMMEESSSS RAANNNGGEERRRRRR!!!

Rich Russillo: A man making his return to EAW and some say his first run didn’t go as planned, but in my opinion he did show potential. I’m happy he’s on our brand see just how much has changed with him since he’s been gone. He has a massive opportunity with who he faces tonight.

James Peters: It won’t be an easy match, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. We could definitely see an upset tonight, we’ll just have to see if James can pull it off.

(‘Brooklyn The Hole’ by Miku Sakai begins to play through the arena to an immediate response of loud, deafening boos, followed by Miku Sakai herself walking out onto stage, annoyed eyeing Jane’s Ranger in the ring, likely not appreciative over how last week went down. After a few seconds she just shakes her head, beginning to sing her theme just to show her opponent that she isn’t phased by him.)

Bella Braxton: AND HIS OPPONENT…FROM FUKUI, JAPAN… WEIGHING IN AT 110 POUNDS….MIKUUUUUUUUUUU SAKAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!

James Peters: I will say I don’t really know if it was smart for James to pick a fight with Miku upon returning, especially with the mood she’s been in. Miku made it clear that she doesn’t appreciate James interrupting her last week during her time and she looks to teach him a lesson here tonight and continue to build momentum for herself after falling short at Tempest.

Rich Russillo: True, but now he has the chance to make an impact. I guess the outcome of this match will determine if he made the right choice or not.

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

James Peters: And off we go in this one, you can just see that annoyed look on Miku’s face as James is ready for a fight, and now both of them circle the ring… and now James out of the gate runs and drives Miku back into the corner! James is like a bat out of hell coming out of the gates firing. Shoulder thrust after shoulder thrust from James before going for an Irish whip… but Miku counters sending him into the opposite corner as Miku runs going for a leaping forearm, but James moves out of the way at the last second! Miku turns around and then runs into an enziguri kick to the side of the head! James then takes her down with a Spinning lariat across the chest. James comes out firing in the opening few minutes as he hops on the second rope measuring Miku up…

Rich Russillo: And James goes for a leaping tornado DDT, but Miku prevents it… and then tosses him stomach first into the top rope as he’s now a sitting duck there. Miku runs off the ropes and then delivers a knee to the side of his head as hard as she can! James falls forward back into the ring and Miku begins to stomp away at James who is trying to get up to a vertical base. Knife edge chop from Miku who has him leaning up against the ropes before going for a irish whip, but James counters it sending Miku into the ropes, and James goes for a clothesline, but she ducks it and delivers a standing dropkick to the back as James lands chest first in the corner…AND HERE COMES MIKU WHO DRIVES BOTH KNEES INTO THE BACK OF JAMES!!

Persephone: James turns around now – and then runs into an enziguri this time before falling down and trying to roll out of the ring, but Miku isn’t letting it happen grabbing hold of his foot! James eventually kicks Miku away and successfully rolls outside of the ring. Miku quickly though runs off the ropes and delivers a suicide dive through the second rope driving James into the announce table next to us! She doesn’t waste any time in picking him up and tossing him back inside, and she hops on the apron and then measures up James who stands up – THEN MIKU DELIVERS A SLINGSHOT SPEAR FROM THE APRON BEFORE GOING FOR THE FIRST COVER OF THIS MATCH!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

Rich Russillo: And the kickout from James, and Miku immediately puts him in a headlock while grounded. James is trying with all he’s got to stand to a vertical base, and he drives the elbow into her chest…AND THEN HITS A BACK SUPLEX FROM OUT OF NOWHERE! James buys himself a few seconds as they both stand to face one another, and then James delivers a European uppercut to the jaw that drives Miku back into the corner. Here comes James who charges as fast as he can once more, but Miku gets both of her feet up before locking both of her legs around James head….A HURRICANRANA FROM THE CORNER!!

James Peters: Miku looks to have the momentum back as she runs and takes James down with a running forearm to the face, and then another one. James swings at her head, but she ducks it and then SHE LEAPS UP GOING FOR HER “CUCK KILLER” DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER – BUT JAMES HOLDS HER IN MID AIR BEFORE SLAMMING HER DOWN TO THE MAT! James avoids disaster as he quickly gets Miku up to her feet…AND THEN JAMES GOES FOR WHAT HE CALLS THE “SUNSET FINISH” NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB – AND IT CONNECTS!! JAMES QUICKLY GOES FOR THE COVER WITH THE HOOK OF THE LEG NOW!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

Rich Russillo: Kickout from Miku once more as Joyanne is trying to will her husband on and to stay on the attack. He then gets Miku up and places her in the corner. James then places her up top and he looks to be going for the superplex from the top rope! But Miku is fighting back up there with shots to the ribs and it’s a battle for control between the two of them up there! Both of them are going back and forth with the other on the top… UNTIL MIKU DELIVERS A HEADBUTT FROM OUT OF NOWHERE, AND SHE LEAPS OVER JAMES AND THEN DELIVERS A SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB FROM THE TOP ROPE!!! JAMES LANDS HARD ON HIS HEAD AS MIKU STACKS HIM UP FOR THE PIN!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!!!

Persephone: JAMES BARELY GETS OUT OF IT! And now Miku thinks of what to do next to put James away and get out of here, and she goes to pick James up by the head, but James tries to fight back again with shots to her ribcage, AND THEN JAMES TAKES HER DOWN WITH A JUMPING REVERSE STO! James buys himself some valuable time here as he rolls away to the ropes.

James Peters: James pulls himself back up as Miku stands and runs at him…BUT HE COUNTERS WITH A BACK BODY DROP SENDING HER OVER THE TOP ROPE, BUT I DON’T THINK HE’S AWARE THAT MIKU HELD ON TO THE APRON! He turns around…A KICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD FROM THE APRON FROM MIKU AS JAMES FALLS DOWN TO A KNEE AS MIKU CLIMBS THE TOP ROPE NEXT TO HER – AND MIKU LEAPS FROM THE TOP ROPE AND DELIVERS A SPINNING TORNADO DDT!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Miku planted his head into the mat as she crawls over and makes the cover on James with the hook of the leg!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!!!

Rich Russillo: AND JAMES GETS HIS SHOULDER UP AT TWO AND A HALF! James is still fighting to stay alive as his wife at ringside looks as if she’s seen a ghost there. And now Miku stands and quickly begins to stalk James who is trying to stir back to his feet, AND THEN SHE RUNS OFF THE ROPES…AND RUNS RIGHT INTO JAMES’ “DEATHSTRIKE” SUPERKICK FROM OUT OF NOWHERE!! James though is very slow in making the cover. He is trying with everything he has to crawl over to Miku, and after several moments, he flips her on her back and goes for the huge upset victory!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!!!

James Peters: Miku kicks out of it! Maybe perhaps James took just a little too long in making the cover there and now you ask the question to yourself “was that my best shot to win this match?”

Rich Russillo: Both of them stir on opposite ends of the ring from the other, and Miku runs right at him, but he sidesteps and sends her through the second rope as she lands on the outside floor. What does James have in mind here? James goes up to the top rope and looks down on Miku making her way to her feet on the outside floor… AND JAMES LAUNCHES HIMSELF GOING FOR A CROSSBODY – BUT NOBODY HOME AS JAMES LANDS RIGHT ON HIS CHEST ON THE OUTSIDE FLOOR! James took a huge risk and he crashes and burns, most likely just costing himself this match here as Miku quickly gets him back up and rolls him back inside of the ring looking to take advantage of his mistake and put this one away for good. MIKU RUNS OFF THE ROPES AND THEN DELIVERS A RUNNING KNEE TO THE FACE AS MIKU QUICKLY GOES FOR ANOTHER COVER! WILL THIS BE ENOUGH TO PUT JAMES AWAY?!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!!!

James Peters: NO IT’S NOT AS JAMES CONTINUES TO FIGHT ON! Miku I think is starting to get a little annoyed as she mounts over James and begins teeing away delivering several right hands to the face before standing up and is begging James to stand back up. James’ wife on the outside is trying to alert him as he stirs back to his feet and then turns around to face Miku… AND MIKU SWINGS FOR THE HEAD, BUT HE DUCKS IT AND THEN HITS A SNAP GERMAN SUPLEX AS MIKU LANDS HARD ON THE BACK OF HER HEAD THERE!

Persephone: That causes Miku to pull herself up in the corner…AND HERE COMES JAMES WHO DELIVERS A RUNNING SPLASH IN THE CORNER! James looks to be building some serious momentum for himself here as he slowly ascends up to the top rope and balances himself up high. He looks down at Miku…AND THEN HE LAUNCHES HIMSELF AND GOES FOR HIS “ADVENT DAWN” SHOOTING STAR DOUBLE FOOT STOMP!!! BUT NOBODY HOME AS MIKU ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! James rolls back to his feet looking like he might have just landed awkwardly on his right foot, AND MIKU BRINGS HIM IN FOR A INSIDE CRADLE!! SHE’S GOT HIM!!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!!

Rich Russillo: JAMES REVERSES IT INTO A PIN OF HIS OWN! OH MY!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEE!!!

James Peters: DID HE GET HER?! No it was only two and a half as both of them race back to their feet, and James goes for another clothesline, but Miku ducks under and off the opposite ropes- AND DELIVERS ANOTHER RUNNING KNEE RIGHT TO THE FACE!! Miku tries to grab him to make the cover but James is in the right place at the right time as he falls out of the ring, and you can see the frustration on Miku’s face at this point that she let James escape out of her grasp. Miku then quickly grabs him by the head through the second rope – A RIGHT HAND RIGHT TO THE FACE THAT BRINGS MIKU BACK IN THE RING AS JAMES SLIDES BACK IN EXHAUSTED LOOKING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE HERE!

Persephone: James might have Miku right where he wants her here as HE GOES FOR HIS “FINAL EXECUTION” AXE KICK!! BUT MIKU CATCHES THE LEG AND DELIVERS A LEG SWEEP TAKING JAMES DOWN, AND THEN PULLS HIM UP AND PULLS HIM IN BY THE ARM AND DELIVERS A RIPCORD KNEE STRIKE ACROSS THE BRIDGE OF THE NOSE!! Now it’s Miku who looks to have James exactly where she wants him as she picks him up – AND SHE HOOKS BOTH OF ARMS LOOKING TO GO FOR HER “STARFALL” VERTEBREAKER, BUT AGAIN JAMES FIGHTS OUT BY SPINNING OUT OF IT, AND THEN GOES FOR A BIG BOOT TO THE FACE, BUT MIKU DUCKS IT AND DELIVERS A STEP UP KNEE THAT KNOCKS JAMES INTO THE CORNER! SHE RUNS AND DRIVES BOTH KNEES INTO THE CHEST FOLLOWED BY A MONKEY FLIP…BUT JAMES JUST LANDED ON HIS FEET!!

James Peters: MIKU I THINK IS UNAWARE OF THAT AS SHE TURNS AROUND – AND JAMES WAS WAITING FOR HER…AND HE GOES FOR ANOTHER “DEATHSTRIKE!!” SUPERKICK, BUT MIKU CATCHES THE LEG AND FLIPS HIM BACK, BUT HE LANDS IN HIS FEET AGAIN AS SHE RUNS AND TRIES TO TAKE HIS HEAD OFF WITH A KNEE, BUT HE SIDESTEPPED IT AND ROLLS MIKU UP FROM BEHIND!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!

Rich Russillo: DID HE GET HER?! The referee says no as once more they race to their feet and James goes for “Deathstrike” once more, but Miku again catches the leg and spins him around – BUT JAMES TURNS IT INTO A DOUBLE LEG LARIAT ACROSS THE FACE, BUT MIKU SAW THAT COMING, AND IMMEDIATELY RUNS AND DELIVERS A KNEE INTO THE SIDE OF HIS HEAD AS HARD AS SHE CAN! James just might be in some serious trouble here as Miku is measuring him up….AND SHE GOES FOR “DEATH NOTE”!!!

James Peters: BUT AGAIN JAMES IS CONTINUING TO FIGHT AS HE PUSHES BHER AWAY AND HE GOES FOR “DEATHSTRIKE” FOR THE THIRD TIME IN THE LAST MINUTE, BUT MIKU SIDESTEPS IT THIS TIME AND….”CUCK KILLER!!!” THE DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER CONNECTS OUT OF NOWHERE AS MIKU HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER! James’ wife is trying to will him to kick out, will this be enough to put James away?

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEE!!!

(DIng! Ding! Ding!)

(‘Brooklyn The Hole’ plays as the crowd rains down boos on Miku who doesn’t care in the slightest. She returns to her feet, and she has her hand raised in victory.)

Bella Braxton: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…MIKKUUUUUUU SAAKKAAIIIIIIII!!!!

James Peters: Miku gets her hand raised in another victory and you can tell how irritated she was with James. Again you just wonder what’s next in the future for Miku with Pain for Pride upon the horizon.

Rich Russillo: Very game effort from James in his first match back, but was just a little outmatched and I’m sure he’s going to bounce back fine if he really wants to.

James Peters: As for everyone wondering, I unfortunately have to say that Methuselah still is not at the arena. At this point I’m starting to wonder if he’ll even show up tonight.

Rich Russillo: We still have some time before his match. I’m sure he’ll make it. For now though, congratulations to Miku Sakai!

(The final shot is of Miku making her way to the back while James looks on disappointed with his wife trying to give him some encouragement on the outside.)

(Promotional ad for Grand Rampage, where ARIA defends the Specialists Championship against Milli Banks.)

(Voltage returns to ringside, where ‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ by White Zombie begins to play. As always this causes a loud burst of cheers to come from the fans, who are excited to see the former EAW World Champion, Minerva. It doesn’t take very long for Minerva to show herself either, as she’d walk out to the stage holding a microphone in her hand. She doesn’t look too amused following what took place last week, and she doesn’t spend a very long time on the stage either, beginning to walk down the ramp and head towards the ring as she clearly has something on her mind.)

James Peters: Minerva seems to have more words for us, but she doesn’t have much of a smile on her face. I don’t blame her, either. What we saw from Samael last week was both confusing, and disturbing. After all that, I wouldn’t have a smile on my face, either.

Rich Russillo: Of course, not. Honestly Minerva deserves respect for even walking out here, because from the look on her face, she’s not even scared. Then again, I’m not sure if that makes her brave or crazy.

Persephone: Why not both? Have we ever even confirmed what that burning body was? Pretty concerning if you ask me.

(Minerva enters the ring, and after only a few seconds she begins to speak.)

Minerva: If Samael believed he was going to scare me away, he was mistaken. I put out a challenge. I didn’t need a warning to understand what I was getting myself into. I didn’t need that bird of his to deliver that message. I didn’t need to see that burning body he put out, because I know what kind of competitor Samael is. I know that he’s dangerous. I know that he’s a threat to the majority of the EAW roster, but I also know that he’s never been able to defeat me no matter how many times he’s tried, and should he walk into Grand Rampage that fact is going to be proven true once again. I don’t fear Samael. I shouldn’t even need to explain that watching his antics last week filled me with more confusion than fear. Not because of the lengths he went to prove a point, but because he’s clearly not the only one that believes in him. Caine clearly isn’t the only supporter of Samael and I learned that last week, and I’m sure I’m not the only person that’s interested in learning exactly who that is. I don’t know what your plan is Samael, but I’m not going to play your mind games on a weekly basis. You won’t distract me from what this match is really about, so instead of keeping us all in the dark, why don’t you walk out here and give me the explanation we’ve waited an entire week to hear?

(Minerva waits a few seconds, remaining silent until it becomes clear that she won’t be receiving a response. After a little while, she begins to speak once again.)

Minerva: Part of me expected that, honestly. I had a feeling that it wouldn’t be that easy getting an answer from someone like you, but that’s fine. As long as you’re agreeing to face me at Grand Rampage, I’ll be satisfied. I may even beat the information that I’m looking for out of you. After all, this isn’t going to be an easy night for you. At Grand Rampage you’re going to learn just how serious your mistake was when you attempted to injure me. Things could have gone far worse that night and for many people it likely would’ve been worse. That’s not something I’ll be forgetting easily, even if it means I’m going to be forced to put up with weeks of flaming bodies and messages you won’t even deliver yourself. If you’re not going to give us an answer as to who that mysterious man was, or even whose body that was, at least answer this. Are you ready to face me at Grand Rampage, or should I just find you right now? It’s your choice, but after your stunt last week I am running out of patience.

(Minerva stands there in silence once again, waiting for an answer from Samael. This begins to annoy Minerva, but this time around, she’s actually given what she was looking for as the lights go out and the titantron lights up.)

James Peters: Oh no. The lights just went out, I think we all know that only could mean one thing!

Rich Russillo: You’re right. It seems like we’ll be getting an answer from Samael after all. The only question is what he’ll actually say.

Persephone: Maybe he won’t face Minerva! That’d be great, right?

(After a few seconds the titantron goes dark, but not because it turned off. It’s actually because the titantron screen is showing the inside of a room, which just appears to be very dark.)

???: We accept.

(This causes a loud mixed reaction as they can recognize the voice. The cheers is for the challenge being accepted, but the boos is because of who the voice belongs to. As the screen becomes lighter, none other than Caine would be seen in front of the camera.)

Caine: We accept your challenge, Minerva. You read the message. You were warned, but if you really want to move forward with this match then we don’t really have a choice but to give you what you want, right?

(Minerva doesn’t respond, clearly not amused by the fact that Caine hasn’t shown himself in person.)

Caine: That’s not all, though… I actually have something more… Interesting, in mind..

(After saying this, Caine begins to laugh. At first it’s a sinister laugh, enough to cause some fear amongst the younger fans in the audience, but after a little while, the laughter becomes far more innocent. It takes a while for the laughter to stop, but when it does, “Caine” would look back at the camera, this time with a more childlike look of shock on his face as he forms a smile.)

Michael: Wow, hi Minerva! It’s been a while hasn’t it? How are you?

(Minerva just shakes her head.)

Minerva: Don’t do this. You have something interesting in mind, right? What does that mean?

Michael: Hm? I’m not sure what you mean. I think about lots of cool things!

Minerva: …The match. You accepted the challenge, but you clearly weren’t finished. I told you that I wasn’t going to play your mind games, so you’re going to tell me what it is you have planned for that match.

Michael: Match?..

(Michael takes some time to think, seemingly confused by what Minerva means, before finally stopping as if a lightbulb lit up over his head.)

Michael: Oh! Samael accepted your challenge, didn’t he?

(Minerva remains silent, expecting an answer out of Michael.)

Michael: Well… I can’t tell you what he had planned. Not with you in front of all of them. Sorry.

Minerva: Why not?

Michael: Because it’s a secret!

Minerva: So you’re wasting my time. That’s great. I’ll just make sure to remember that when I walk into Grand Rampage, then. You accepted my challenge already, and that’s all I needed. As long as I know that you’ll be facing me there, I don’t need to deal with this. All I have to do is beat the-

Michael: :whoa: Wait wait wait! I can tell you!

(This causes Minerva to look back at Michael.)

Michael: You just have to find me first.

James Peters: What?

Rich Russillo: Is he serious?

Michael: Come on, it can be like a game! You find me, and I can tell you all sorts of secrets! I can tell you what Samael has planned, I can even re-introduce you to my friend!

(As Michael says this the camera slowly pans over to the side, revealing the same masked man from before. Minerva stares at him for a few seconds, before finally catching onto something Michael said.)

Minerva: Re-introduce?

Michael: 🙊 Oops. I made a mistake, didn’t I?

(This makes Michael sad, but it turns out that this would benefit the other personalities of Samael, as before long Caine would take over once more.)

Caine: That idiot… I’ll go ahead and make things easier for you, Minerva. Quite frankly, I’m no more interested in playing games than you are. Since this is what you want, I’ll make sure your time isn’t wasted just so you’re able to understand far before Grand Rampage just what you’ve gotten yourself into. This is a mess you won’t be able to escape and I want you to understand that, and by the end of this night you will. If you want to learn just what you’ll actually be up against then you can find me.

(Suddenly, an evil grin appears on his face.)

Caine: Because I’m inside of this arena.

(After these words, both Caine and the mysterious man would begin laughing, and this laughter would be the last thing heard from them as the titantron would turn off, and the lights would return. There’s a bunch of commotion amongst the fans, not sure what to think of what they just saw.)

James Peters: Well… I’m really not sure what to say about that.

Rich Russillo: Me neither. What decision is Minerva going to make? She could easily just ignore whatever Samael was talking about, but if these “secrets” will have an effect on their match at Grand Rampage, she might not have a choice but to take the bait and find him.

Persephone: I don’t know if I want to watch Minerva play hide and seek with Samael.

(After waiting for a while, thinking about what the best choice would be, Minerva would drop her microphone and leave the ring. She begins walking to the back, and judging by the look on her face, it’s not because she plans to let this go. She walks up the ramp and to the stage, and as she makes it to the backstage area the camera follows, beginning to show the footage on the titantron.)

James Peters: It looks like Minerva’s made her choice, but I don’t understand. Even with the fact that Caine is in this arena, he could still be ANYWHERE inside of it. She could be searching for hours and still never find him. Is it really worth it?

(Minerva is walking through the backstage area, and it becomes clear that a similar thought is running through her mind as even she isn’t entirely sure where to look. She thinks about where someone like Samael would be hidden as she walks through the hallway, turning the corner. Eventually however, her search takes a temporary stop as she comes across what can only be described as another message. Draven is seen on the ground, right in front of Minerva. In front of Draven is another note, just like the one she received last week. At this point Minerva is growing frustrated, but after a few seconds she just shakes her head before picking up the note.)

James Peters: The note just says to follow Draven.

Rich Russillo: And it’s signed Caine. Don’t forget, Caine is the one that made it clear he didn’t want to play a game. I guess he was true to his word.

James Peters: But where is-

(Before James could even ask his question, Draven takes off. Minerva at this point clearly sees this as some kind of joke, and is not in much of a rush as she walks in the direction the bird flew. She turns to her right just as Draven did, but as she looks, the bird is nowhere to be seen. Instead, smoke is slowly filling the corridor. Minerva just walks down the hallway as the smoke becomes more and more potent, before finally reaching the door the smoke is coming from. She opens the door and walks into the room, but the only thing seen is the burnt body that was shown last week.)

Persephone: :oh: It’s the dead body!

Rich Russillo: Stop. That is without a doubt an effigy, and that’d answer one of the questions that we all had in mind, but..

(Minerva walks deeper into the room, before the door suddenly slams shut. Minerva quickly turns to the door, and on the door would be the words “Inferno Match”. Minerva stares at it, and despite what she’s seen, she still doesn’t look afraid.)

Minerva: So that’s it? I know you’re here Samael. If an inferno match is really the big surprise you had planned, it’s almost disappointing. I accept.

(The fans cheer loudly hearing this, but when Minerva turns away from the door, the effigy is nowhere to be seen. It appears to be her alone in the room, until..)

James Peters: OH WHAT THE HELL??? SAMAEL JUST CAME OUT OF NOWHERE AND ATTACKED MINERVA, SENDING HER RIGHT INTO THE WALL!!! SAMAEL NOW GOING AFTER MINERVA- BUT MINERVA MANAGES TO LAND A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION!

Rich Russillo: MINERVA SAID SHE KNEW HE WAS HERE AND SHE’S REALLY SHOWING IT NOW, AS SHE BEGINS TO LAND RIGHTS AND LEFTS ON SAMAEL!!!! SAMAEL DELIVERS A KNEE TO THE MIDSECTION HOWEVER, AND HIS SIZE ADVANTAGE MIGHT BE TOO MUCH, ESPECIALLY WHEN CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT HE BLINDSIDED HER!

Persephone: SAMAEL THROWS MINERVA AWAY FROM HIM, AND IT LOOKS LIKE WE’RE JUST SEEING A BRAWL BETWEEN THESE TWO!! Minerva gets back to her feet as Samael charges in- BUT MINERVA LANDS A BACK ELBOW, CONTINUING TO FIGHT BACK-

(Suddenly, another hand grabs Minerva before catching her by the throat, choking her.)

James Peters: :krabs:

Rich Russillo: Is that..?

(It’s the mysterious man that’s been seen twice now, and at this point Minerva is against the wall, trying to pull the man’s arm away from her throat. Samael slowly walks up to her, and just as Minerva tries to kick the man away, he tosses her into Samael, allowing him to connect with R.I.P. Samael and the man stand over Minerva, but after a little while it becomes clear which personality is in control as a grin forms on his face.)

Caine: Are you sure you want to know who this is?

(Caine laughs, knowing that Minerva is unconscious and can’t respond.)

Caine: So be it. I’ll tell you.

(The fans all quiet down, eager to hear who the mysterious man is.)

Caine: This is the one who’ll help Samael turn this company into a wasteland… But you all may know him as Dr. Doyle.

(The fans can’t believe what they just heard. Caine continues to laugh, meanwhile Dr. Doyle tosses the burnt effigy on top of Minerva.)

Caine: See you at Grand Rampage.

(As the two men begin to laugh, as Minerva is still down and out inside of the room. With the laughter of Caine and Dr. Doyle as the last thing heard, Voltage begins to fade to black, away from the area.)

(Commercial promoting Tempest on Disney+. Relive matches such as Myles versus Samael and Drake King versus Yhwach O’Hara!

(The camera cuts to Bella Braxton in the ring.)

Bella Braxton: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Crowd: ONE FALL!!!

( “Show Me Your God” – The Amity Affliction hits to a loud, mixed reaction for the returning Theron Nikolas.)

Bella Braxton: Introducing first from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada weighing in at 224 pounds he is “The Reaper” THERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRO NIKOOOOOOOOLASSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

(Theron Nikolas walks out to the stage with a cold look on his face. He looks prepared for this match, officially making his return following his match against Methuselah back at Tempest, so he doesn’t spend too long on the stage. Being given a mixed reaction, Theron begins walking down the ramp, headed towards the ring as he doesn’t pay much attention to the reaction from the crowd.)

Rich Russillo: Theron Nikolas has to be one of the favorites to win the Grand Rampage. He could for sure go all the way!

James Peters: No doubt about that. We will see just how conditioned he is in this preview match here tonight!

Rich Russillo: We haven’t seen him compete since Tempest so he’s had some time to prepare to enter the ring again. We’ll see if all that time has paid off or not.

(Blackway & Black Caviar – “What’s Up Danger” hits to a mixed reaction from the crowd.)

Bella Braxton: And his opponent from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma weighing in at 170 pounds he is “The Extreme” KORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREY GAINESSSSSSSS!!!

(Korey Gaines is showered in hatred by some fans, and met with cheers by others as he makes his way out to the ring. He ignores it and plays up to the crowd taking selfies on his way to the ring. He laughs at Theron’s death glare as he enters the ring as he is clearly not taking any of this very seriously and thinks his victory is fully assured. However, he looks drained of energy and begins holding his limbs in pain.)

Rich Russillo: Well some of these fans clearly want to see Korey Gaines get wrecked here tonight. Whether or not that will happen remains to be seen!

James Peters: Theron Nikolas is the clear favorite here tonight. But will Korey Gaines be able to pull off the upset?

Rich Russillo: He is trying to hide it but he is clearly still in pain from Mercer’s assault earlier. I wonder if that will affect this match???

(DING! DING! DING!)

Rich Russillo: We are underway and I am hyped for the competition we are about to witness on Voltage this week. Korey Gaines looks like he is going to give it all he has to take out Theron Nikolas here tonight and this thing could really be anyone’s game. Korey charges in with rushing forearms right to the forehead of Theron! The betterment continues as Theron suddenly replies with a series of strikes of his own and both men going back and forth in the middle of the ring just beating the living hell out of each other to the satisfaction of our great Voltage fans here tonight!

Rich Russillo: Korey Gaines on hands and knees as Theron Nikolas bounces off the ropes… Theron charges in… RUNNING KNEE TO THE SKULL!! No! Korey moves out of the way! Korey moves around as he catches Theron from behind and pulls him into a Backslide Pinning Combination!

Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

James Peters: No! Theron Nikolas kicks out! Korey Gaines nearly stealing one right then and there! Theron smartly rolls to the outside of the ring to catch a breather as Korey tries to grab after him and prevent his escape.

Persephone: Oh no! Theron is quitting!

James Peters: He is not! Theron Nikolas just getting a quick breather here tonight as Korey Gaines is kept from going after him by the referee who is beginning their ten count.

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!

Rich Russillo: But as soon as Theron Nikolas rolls back into the ring Korey Gaines off the ropes with a Baseball Slide kicking him back out! Effectively resetting the referee’s ten count! Korey over the top rope with a Flying Body Press right on top of Theron! Korey gets all of it, crushing Theron down on his back outside the ring! Korey now pounding away on Theron outside the ring as Theron tries to shove Korey off him. Korey is really relentless here tonight in his assault on Theron, looking to make up for the pain he’s in, but Theron manages to shove Korey back into the ring apron which looked a bit painful. Theron using the opportunity as Korey charges back in, dropping Korey face first into the barricade here at ringside! Theron managing to turn the tides on Korey and gets a quick breather as he crawls away while Korey recovers. Both men back up now as Theron rolls himself back into the ring with Korey slowly following holding his head in pain.

James Peters: As soon as Korey Gaines pulls himself back up into the ring Theron Nikolas is already charging off the ropes towards him! Running Lariat! No! Korey ducks beneath! Rich Russillo: No! Theron Nikolas moved out of the way on the outside! Korey Gaines crashes and burns! No! Korey manages to roll off the landing with a somersault right back to his feet! That was impressive agility on the part of Korey! But Theron is lying in wait as he turns around and eats a hard uppercut to the gut! Korey keels over as Theron hits a Scissors Kick dropping Korey on the outside. Theron whips Korey back first into the barricade right in front of our bloodthirsty Voltage fans who are enjoying being up close and personal to that action. Theron now up on the apron as he leaps off with a Guillotine Leg Drop to the neck of Korey who is across the barricade!

James Peters: No! Korey Gaines moves out of the way and Theron Nikolas crashes and burns this time! And Theron did not land on his feet!

Persephone: I feel like there should have been a countout by now. Does anyone else feel that way or is it just me?

Rich Russillo: Korey Gaines picks Theron Nikolas up by the hair and tosses him back into the ring. No! Theron reverses and throws Korey into the ring steps instead! Theron making a sudden recovery despite that failed maneuver!

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NI-

James Peters: Theron Nikolas tosses Korey Gaines back into the ring just in time! Looks like there will be no countout happening on this occasion.

Persephone: That’s fine. No that’s good actually. I am glad to see that. 😃

Rich Russillo: Korey Gaines pulls himself up in the corner as Theron Nikolas charges in with a corner Clothesline and this time he gets all of it! Korey collapses on his hands and knees in the ring as Theron runs the ropes… Running Punt Kick connects to the head of Korey!!! Theron slides into the cover on Korey and this thing could be over and done with!!

Referee: ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!

Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

James Peters: Kickout by Korey Gaines! I thought the head trauma might be enough to put him away there but it does not seem to be the case! Theron appears to as well as he pulls Korey back up and connects with a hard chop to the chest, sending Korey back into the corner, but Korey bursts out of the corner with a sudden assault of forearms into Theron! Theron with a Leaping Elbow Drop to the chest of Korey and goes for another cover!

Referee: ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-

Rich Russillo: Quick kickout by Korey Gaines as Theron Nikolas is likely just keeping the pressure on with that pin forcing Korey to expend more energy as this match rages on. Theron grabs the legs of Korey and flips him over and applies an Ankle Lock! Theron really trying to sap the energy of Korey with this one and Korey may have no choice but to tap out! James Peters: He gets it! Korey Gaines with a hand around the bottom rope forcing the break! Theron not letting go however! He still has the Ankle Lock applied!

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! LET HIM GO!

Rich Russillo: Theron Nikolas reluctantly releases the Ankle Lock while calmly informing the referee that he had until five.

James Peters: Theron Nikolas not so calmly drives his boot down right into the spine of Korey Gaines before tossing him into the corner and continuing to pummel on him. Korey has been at the mercy of Theron here tonight for a good while and probably can’t take too much more of this before he just has to give in and call it a night.

Rich Russillo: But Korey Gaines manages to get a few shots in desperately as he tries to break free of the assault but Theron yanks Korey in… Theron with an Evenflow DDT onto Korey in the middle of the ring as he goes for the cover!!!

Korey transitions from the armbar into a full on Crossface! This is not looking good for Theron who may be forced to tap out! If he taps to Korey we will never hear the end of it! You know how he gets!

Persephone: I don’t know what you mean James. I look forward to all of Korey’s social media activity each week and I know that many of our fans feel the same way.

Rich Russillo: Theron Nikolas is struggling to make it to the ropes. But Korey Gaines has that Crossface locked in extra tightly! Wait! Theron manages to throw himself backwards still in the Crossface pinning Korey’s shoulders to the mat! The cover!

Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

James Peters: Korey Gaines releases the Crossface to get out of the pin just in time! Theron Nikolas with some intelligent maneuvering to get up and out of that one there. Both men back up now as they collide in the ring! The slugfest has resumed! Both men back and forth trading shots! Theron! Korey! Theron! Korey! Theron! Theron! Theron!

But the referee counts Theron off forcing him to end the illegal choke hold before he can put Korey to sleep. But the damage has been done! Korey collapses into the corner as Theron presses his boot up against his face disrespectfully. Korey is very out of it as Theron hoists him back up into the ring and drops him with a hard Body Slam in the middle of the squared circle!

Rich Russillo: Korey Gaines slowly back up! Korey with a thumb to the eye-

James Peters: No! Theron Nikolas had it scouted and avoided it with Korey’s fingers instead going into the side of his cheek! THERON OUT OF NOWHERE WITH THE BACK ELBOW TO THE SIDE OF KOREY’S SKULL!

Rich Russillo: CARPE DIEM OUTTA NOWHERE! Korey Gaines collapses to the mat unconscious as Theron Nikolas slides into the cover! He is dead and gone!

Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Bella Braxton: Here is your winner… THERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRON NIKOLLLLLLLLLASSSSSSSSSS!!!

( “Show Me Your God” – The Amity Affliction hits as the referee raises up Theron Nikolas’ hand in victory.)

Rich Russillo: Well Theron Nikolas won this match as probably most of us expected that he would. But what a valiant effort by Korey Gaines!

James Peters: Despite what you may think about Korey he really gave it his all. This was a preview match for the Grand Rampage and I think it accomplished its intentions. If this is a preview of that match we definitely have great things to expect from these competitors!

Persephone: That’s great and all, but did you guys hear? Methuselah still is not at the arena. Is he going to make it tonight?

Rich Russillo: Hm. This doesn’t sound good.

(The camera cuts to a commercial for Drake King’s 60th birthday celebration.)

(Sunday Night Voltage fades backstage and toward the office of the Commissioner of Voltage, Captain Charisma. He was working on his laptop and sipping on his coffee as usual, currently waiting for someone to arrive. This time there weren’t any unexpected guests barging in so he was already prepared and he had a full proof plan to make sure his coffee wasn’t getting spilled again. It was then that someone started knocking on his door and he looked up at his laptop to speak up.)

Captain Charisma: The door is open, you can come in!

(The door then slowly pushed open and the person that had been invited to Captain Charisma’s office was none other than Ayu Megumi herself. She was in a casual outfit, wearing a white hoodie and a little ponytail at the side since she wasn’t wrestling tonight. It was obvious to see she wasn’t exactly in the best of moods, there wasn’t much reason to be after all, the past few weeks haven’t been exactly the best for her career so she was slightly on edge hearing that she had to go to Captain Charisma’s office. She was kind of thinking for the worse.)

Ayu Megumi: Hey there… Captain.

Captain Charisma: Ayu! It is very good to see you, here, take a seat over there.

Ayu Megumi: Sure.

(Ayu calmly walked over to the chairs, planning to sit down on it when suddenly her foot slightly moved in the wrong direction for a moment and Ayu accidentally bumped into Captain Charisma’s desk, and as it seemed the cup of coffee was going to be spilled again…it did not. Captain Charisma breathed out a sigh of relief as he saw his plan worked and Ayu looked confused for a moment.)

Ayu Megumi: Sorry for bumping into your desk Captain, but…how did your cup of coffee not spill out.

Captain Charisma: Don’t worry about it Ayu, you actually helped me to test this because you see, I always have unexpected guests or wrestlers barging into my office and half of the time they slam the door so hard I end up spilling my coffee, rarely does it spill into me, and when you are wearing a turtleneck with spilled coffee? Actual he…ck. So I decided to simply stick the cup of coffee down on my desk.

Ayu Megumi: …I see. But…what happens when you have to grab the cup to take a sip?

Captain Charisma: I used very cheap glue to stick it down so hopefully with just a little force it will be able to be pulled out.

Ayu Megumi: Huh. Neat.

(Ayu wasn’t sure how full proof that plan actually was but hey if it turned out to work, good for him. Ayu finally sat down in the chair and looked straight towards Captain Charisma, wanting to hear him out loud and clear.)

Ayu Megumi: Alright Captain, I don’t want to judge you or anything but considering the last few times I got called here when someone else was in charge, you know…New Eden without the new, I didn’t get called here because I did something…bad, did I?

Captain Charisma: Huh? No, no, on the contrary Ayu, it was actually for something good that you did!

Ayu Megumi: Wait, really???

(Captain Charisma quickly closes his laptop and looks directly at Ayu as a way to keep it straight with her as he begins explaining to her.)

Captain Charisma: Alright, let’s cut to the chase, honestly, you have a lot to be proud about, I have kept up with your progress throughout the season and I believe that you have shown just how much you want to prove yourself and the Ice Aces after everything that has happened to you, and despite all of the failures that you have faced and the setbacks you had to go through, I really appreciate you still being here and showing everyone how hard you have been working to get your opportunities and prove yourself, so after seeing through all of that and thinking it over, I do believe that you have earned something for all of the hard work that you did.

(Ayu’s eyes widened slightly when she heard that, it was clear her attention was captivated by now as Captain Charisma then continued talking.)

Captain Charisma: Alright, let me tell you this, last week the Hardcore Champion Hikari Kanno opened up the Hardcore Title to anyone that was willing to step up and challenge her for that Championship. And given that anybody would want a title opportunity, I decided I would look into that myself and see who the right challenger for Hikari would be. It took me a bit to think about but after the way that you were able to defeat Mercer McKay at Super Voltage II, it is clear to me that you may be ready for an opportunity like this, and if you would like, you could be the challenger for the Hardcore Championship. Since you are in the Grand Rampage match already of course, the match itself would take place at a later date, but here I present to you the chance to fight for the Hardcore Championship, now it depends on you if you want to take it or not.

(Ayu sat there in silence for a moment, she was actually surprised that she was going to end up having an opportunity like this but…did she actually deserve it? After all of this time, did she actually deserve something like that? The last few weeks were incredibly tough for her in terms of looking over at her entire career and wondering what she could actually do after King of Elite, reflecting on her tag team with Usagi and looking at the Ice Aces as a whole, she felt that she could have an opportunity to truly prove herself but…did she actually earn it? That is the kind of question that she was asking herself about though all of this as she simply spoke up in a serious tone towards Captain Charisma.)

Ayu Megumi: Captain Charisma, be completely honest with me, did I actually earn this opportunity or are you just…taking pity on me?

(Captain Charisma’s smile slowly fades away and he lets out a small sigh as he hears Ayu ask him that kind of question. He takes a few seconds to think it over before his tone grows serious as well.)

Captain Charisma: Yeah, I do think you have earned it. Look, I get how you are feeling at this very moment. You are feeling incredibly doubtful about your abilities and your reach as a performer and a wrestler, what do I have to do to succeed? What am I getting right or wrong? What do I need to do to call myself a Champion? Everyone has gone through that kind of phase in their career, even myself, I mean, I am indeed a five time Hardcore Champion but I guess you could say I also…lost it five times. Everyone has to go through rough patches to eventually get where you want to be, and currently you are in one of those, but let me promise you that eventually, everything will end up turning out just right and things will get better. That has always happened here in EAW for everybody, that if you put enough heart into what you do and enough hard work you will reach your destination, you can see what that has done for a lot of people and even your friend ARIA has lived through that journey herself, so let me ask you once more, do you want this opportunity or do you not want it?

(It seems those words finally got to Ayu, she looked down at the floor for a moment thinking it over again, due to the situation with Usagi after King of Elite and the fact that things have not gone the Ice Aces way recently, it made her think truly what she wanted to do. And after hearing what Captain Charisma had to say, she saw this was a good chance to prove herself like he said and also make up for what happened throughout the Season. Ayu took a deep breath before finally, a determined look appeared on her face and she nodded.)

Ayu Megumi: You know what? I accept this opportunity, Captain Charisma. After everything that has happened the few weeks, I am not letting history repeat itself anymore, I am not letting my failures define me for who I truly am, after all of that, with these kinds of opportunities, at the Grand Rampage match, the Hardcore Championship…I want to prove myself more than ever, I want to succeed!

Captain Charisma: Now that’s what I like to hear! It is official then, you have your title shot.

Ayu Megumi: Thank you for the words, Captain.

Captain Charisma: No problem, that is what I am always here for.

(Ayu gave a small nod and she quickly turned around, walking away to leave Captain Charisma’s office as Captain Charisma looked on with a small smile, he turned over to pick up his cup of coffee but it was then that he realized it wasn’t budging, right…it was stuck, it would take a while to deal with that. But as Ayu left the office, she felt more energized, determined and hopeful for her future, she knew she had to deal with her weaknesses and setbacks face on and that is what she would plan to do! And just as she left, Voltage fades away from backstage.)

(A commercial is shown for next week’s episode of Friday Night Dynasty, headlined by World Heavyweight Champion Limmy Monaghan and Interwire Champion PJ Hendrx facing Bronson Daniels and Ruler.)

(‘Rhapsody in Pink’ by Stela Cole plays as Candice Blair makes her way out onto the stage in red Disney attire. She is rained down with boos but she doesn’t mind or care about it as she makes her way down to the ring. She has a look of focus on her face as she reaches the bottom of the ramp, knowing that she’s not up against an easy challenge and that the Hardcore Champion is a big threat.)

Bella Braxton: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SET FOR ONE FALL!!!

Crowd: ONE FALL!!

Bella Braxton: INTRODUCING FIRST….FROM ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA…WEIGHING IN AT 130 POUNDS…..SHE IS “THE FACE OF DISNEY”…..CAAANNNDDIICCEEEE BLLLAAIIIRRRRR!!!!

James Peters: We once again have some news for you all regarding Methuselah, and…

Persephone: Still no sign of him.

James Peters: Yep. Unfortunately we still don’t know if he will even show up.

Rich Russillo: He’s running out of time. It’s getting worrisome, but all we can do for now is focus on the match in front of us.

James Peters: I suppose you’re right. You just know that Candice is dying to make a statement because of how things have gone for her lately, and now does she have quite the chance here tonight.

Rich Russillo: You also have to take into account if she needs eyes at the back of her head. Ronan has cost her before and he can’t be pleased with what the Besties said last week declaring they would end him.

(‘Trepanation’ by Millennium Parade plays as the crowd gives a mixed but positive reaction to the Hardcore Champion Hikari Kanno who walks out with the title around her waist. She takes a deep breath before walking to the ring, taking the Championship and raising it up in the air as the reaction grows even louder. Hikari stares directly at Candice Blair as she gets to the bottom of the ramp, seemingly focused and prepared for this match.)

Bella Braxton: AND HER OPPONENT…FROM OKINAWA, JAPAN….WEIGHING IN AT 121 POUNDS…. SHE US THE CURRENT EAW HARDCORE CHAMPION….”THE PENITENT IDOL”….HIIIKKKARRRIIII KAANNOOOOO!!!!

James Peters: After the emotional rollercoaster that Tempest was, Hikari has her eyes on the future, especially when it comes to Pain for Pride. What a reign she’s had so far and I think it’s just getting started, you have to wonder who is going to step up to the plate and challenge her.

Persephone: Remember, just don’t waste her time.

Rich Russillo: I don’t think Candice plans to do that. She knows what Hikari Kanno is capable of, we just need to see whether she can handle it or if Hikari will be too much for her.

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Rich Russillo: And off we go as both Candice and Hikari step out of their respective corner and lock up in the center of the ring with a collar and elbow tie-up! Hikari then gains control with a side headlock but not for long as Candice pushes her off to the ropes…but Hikari rebounds off the ropes and slides under the legs facing Candice’s back and then drives her forward into the corner before trying to roll her up! Candice though holds on to rope as Hikari rolls back up to her feet and charges right back at her, but Candice stops her in her tracks with an elbow to the face!

James Peters: Candice takes this time to hop on the second turnbuckle – AND THEN CANDICE DELIVERS A CROSSBODY FROM THE SECOND ROPE! Candice is feeling pumped up as Hikari awards back up and Candice charges full speed at her, but Hikari sidesteps it and sends her flying through the second rope to the outside floor! Hikari then runs off the ropes and then delivers a suicide dive through the second rope driving Candice back into the barricade! Hikari looks to go back on the attack right away by getting Candice back inside, but Candice out of nowhere bounces her face first off the edge of the apron! Candice rolls Hikari back in before climbing up the apron. The momentum just going back and forth between the two in the early going.

Persephone: Candice looks to step back in the ring, but Hikari drills her with a kick through the second rope, and Hikari runs off the ropes and drives the knee into the side of Candice’s skull as hard as she can! Candice is a sitting duck on the second rope as Hikari hops on the second rope now – AND SHE DRIVES BOTH KNEES IN THE BACK OF CANDICE’S NECK BEFORE DRAGGING HER FROM THE ROPES AND GOING FOR THE FIRST COVER OF THIS MATCH!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

James Peters: Candice gets the shoulder up and immediately gets Candice up off the mat, and then delivers an uppercut that drives Candice back into the corner. And then Hikari runs at her with a full head of steam going for a leaping forearm smash, but nobody home as Candice moves out of the way! Candice then takes down Hikari with a jumping neckbreaker from behind! Candice then goes on the attack by stomping away at the chest of Hikari and then delivering several elbows to the heart! Candice taunts at the crowd for a split second now as she looks like she may have taken control in this match.

Rich Russillo: Candice turns around and then begins to hammer away at the back of Hikari who is on a knee, and Candice grabs her head and repeatedly drives her knee into the bridge of her nose before backing up a few feet, AND THEN RUNS AND TAKES HIKARI DOWN WITH THE HEADSCISSORS, AND THEN TRANSITIONS INTO THE CROSSFACE SUBMISSION HOLD! Candice is applying as much pressure as she can nearly having Hikari folded back like a pretzel, but Hikari is still fighting to find a way out. Hikari is slowly crawling and inching her way to the ropes… AND SHE IS ALMOST THERE AS SHE REACHES OUT AND SHE’S PRACTICALLY INCHES AWAY FROM GRABBING IT!! CAN SHE MAKE IT THERE…. YES SHE DOES! SHE REACHES OUT AND GRABS IT AS CANDICE IS FORCED TO BREAK IT! Great resiliency there from the Hardcore Champion and now Candice thinks of what next to do.

James Peters: Candice doesn’t waste any time as she grabs her feet and pulls her back to the center of the ring, but Hikari uses her free foot and kicks Candice in the face before pushing Candice in the corner buying herself enough time to get to a vertical base. Candice swings at her head – BUT HIKARI DUCKS AND THEN HOOKS THE ARM IN A HALF NELSON, AND THEN DELIVERS A HALF AND HALF SUPLEX DROPPING CANDICE ON HER HEAD! Hikari stands up and then looks to keep the momentum going as she stalks Candice before running off the ropes AND THEN HITS A SHINING WIZARD KNEE TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD!! Hikari flips her on her back and hooks the leg!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

James Peters: The kickout again from Candice, AND WHOA! HIKARI IS TRYING TO TRANSITION INTO HER “AUSWÄHLEN” SUBMISSION….BUT CANDICE IS FIGHTING WITH EVERYTHING SHE’S GOT TO PREVENT IT! Candice grabs the rope and clings to it as Hikari lets go. Hikari reaches over the top rope and grabs Candice by the hair, but Candice has her by the head, and drops to the outside floor hotshotting Hikari off the rope before Candice slides back into the ring in the corner waiting for Hikari to turn around – AND CANDICE RUNS GOING FOR “COLORS OF THE WIND!!” TORNADO DDT…AND IT CONNECTS DRILLING HIKARI’S HEAD RIGHT INTO THE MAT AS CANDICE DOESN’T IMMEDIATELY GO FOR THE COVER!

Rich Russillo: Candice instead is looking to do some more damage knowing that it will take more than that to put Hikari down for good. SHE THEN HOOKS BOTH OF THE ARMS OF THE GROUNDED HIKARI AND GOES FOR “HAPPILY EVER AFTER!!” SHE’S TRYING HER BEST TO LOCK IT IN, BUT HIKARI USES HER RING AWARENESS AND GETS TO THE ROPES! Candice is trying her best to pry Hikari from the ropes to drag her to the middle of the ring… BUT HIKARI GRABS THE ARM OF CANDICE AND PULLS HER BACK AND SHE HITS THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE SHOULDER FIRST! Candice is standing face first in the corner now as Hikari pulls herself up in the opposite corner – AND HIKARI RUNS LOOKING FOR THE RUNNING DROPKICK TO THE BACK OF CANDICE, BUT SHE MOVES OUT OF THE WAY AS HIKARI IS NOW STUCK IN THE TREE OF WOE IN THE CORNER AND THIS CANNOT BE GOOD!

Persephone: This time it’s Candice who runs to the opposite rope… AND SHE DELIVERS A RUNNING DROPKICK TO THE FACE OF HIKARI HIKARI STUCK IN THE TREE OF WOE! Candice doesn’t stop there as she ascends up the top turnbuckle right above Hikari, WHAT DOES SHE HAVE IN MIND HERE? HIKARI IS TRYING TO GET OUT OF THIS SITUATION BUT SHE’S HELPLESS TO DO ANYTHING AS SHE’S COMPLETELY STUCK LOOKING UP AT CANDICE ON THE TOP ROPE – AND THE ELBOW DROP RIGHT TO THE HEART WHILE IN THE TREE OF WOE AS CANDICE PULLS HIKARI AWAY FROM THE ROPES AND GOES FOR A COVER!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEE!!!!

James Peters: And Hikari got the shoulder up, and Candice knows she can’t afford to let up on the attack and she repeatedly drives her elbow into the face before standing up and measuring Hikari who is trying to get to a vertical base. AND HERE COMES CANDICE WITH A FULL HEAD OF STEAM CHARGING AT HIKARI, BUT SHE SIDESTEPS IT AND SENDS CANDICE SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RING POST THROUGH THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE! Hikari then pulls Candice out from the corner and hooks both of the arms – THE TIGER SUPLEX FROM HIKARI BRIDGING IT INTO A PIN!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

James Peters: Candice kicks out of it! And Hikari is quick to beat her back to her feet and goes to drives the knee into the side of her skull, but Candice moves out of the way and goes for a neckbreaker, but Hikari spins out and pushes her forward, before Candice turns around AND WALKS RIGHT INTO “BRIGHTSTAR!!!” THE URANAGE SLAM PLANTS CANDICE, BUT CANDICE SOMEHOW REVERSED IT INTO AN ARM DRAG! Hikari stands right back up and goes for a lariat, but Candice ducks it and pulls her in by the arm and delivers a ripcord knee strike that drops Hikari down to the mat giving herself a second to regroup.

Rich Russillo: She doesn’t look like she’s regrouping for long as she picks Hikati up off the bat pretty quickly, but before we could know what she had in mind Hikari is fighting back with shots to the ribs, and then delivers a uppercut to the jaw that stuns Candice back a few steps.. AND HIKARI RUNS AT CANDICE GOING FOR A BIG BOOT, BUT CANDICE DUCKS IT AND RUNS OFF THE ROPES, HIKARI GOES FOR A CLOTHESLINE BUT CANDICE DUCKS AND SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE OPPOSITE ROPE – BUT OH MY GOD!!! HIKARI CAUGHT HER WITH A BOOT IN MID AIR!! HIKARI DOESN’T STOP THERE AS SHE PICKS CANDICE UP AND THEN…”BRIGHTSTAR!!!” THE URANAGE SLAM THIS TIME CONNECTS AND HIKARI QUICKLY GOES FOR THE COVER!! IS THIS GOING TO DO IT?!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEE!!

Rich Russillo: AND CANDICE GETS THE SHOULDER UP!! AND LOOK!! I THINK HIKARI WAS EXPECTING THAT AS SHE THEN LOCKS IN “AUSWAHLEN”!!! THE RINGS OF SATURN IS APPLIED ON CANDICE AND WHAT’S SHE GOING TO DO?! THE BRIGHT SIDE IS THE ROPES ARE RIGHT NEAR HER AND SHE KNOWS THAT… AND CANDICE SOMEHOW STRETCHES OUT AND GETS HER LEG UNDER THE BOTTOM ROPE!! Candice is extremely fortunate on how close she was to those ropes as Hikari doesn’t waste any time and tries dragging Candice back to the middle of the ring while Candice is clutching that bottom rope for dear life.

James Peters: Hikari picks up Candice near the ropes…BUT CANDICE SENDS HER OVER THE TOP WITH A BACK BODY DROP! Candice is unaware of it though that Hikari held on as Candice stands up and turns around…forearm to the face from Hikri as Candice drops down to a knee. Hikari ascends up to the top turnbuckle right beside her… AND SHE TAKES OUT CANDICE WITH A CROSSBODY – BUT CANDICE ROLLS THROUGH WITH A PIN!!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEE!!

Persephone: OH HOW CLOSE WAS THAT?! The both of them try to stand at the same time, and here Hikari who runs at Candice, but Candice stops her in her tracks with a right hand to the face, AND NOW SHE SENDS HIKARI SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RING POST THROUGH THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE!! Candice looks to be the one in control now over the Hardcore Champion as she pulls Hikari out of the corner….A HALF AND HALF SUPLEX FROM CANDICE! Candice has all of the momentum on her side now as she’s begging for Hikari to stand up now!

James Peters: Hikari is up and turns around – AND CANDICE PUTS HER IN PLACE AND WE ALL HAVE AN IDEA ON WHERE THIS ONE IS GOING! CANDICE IS GOING FOR HER “DISNEYLAND DESTROYER!!” BUT HIKARI OUT OF DESPERATION DRIVES CANDICE BACK FIRST INTO THE CORNER ESCAPING IT! It looks like we’re back to square one as Hikari delivers a uppercut in the corner before picking Candice up and placing her on the top rope! Hikari goes up top and she places Candice in a fireman’s carry on the top!!! BUT CANDICE REPEATEDLY DRIVES THE ELBOW INTO THE SIDE OF HIKARI’S FACE SLIDING OFF THE SHOULDERS AND NOW IT’S ANOTHER BATTLE FOR CONTROL ON THE TOP ROPE WITH THEM GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH THE OTHER! :lupe: OH MY!! A HEADBUTT FROM CANDICE THAT CAUGHT HIKARI A BIT OFF GUARD, AND THEN CANDICE LEAPS OVER HIKARI AND DELIVERS A SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB AS HIKARI LANDED REALLY HARD ON THE BACK OF HER HEAD AS CANDICE NOW STACKS HIKARI UP FOR THE COVER!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEE!!!

Rich Russillo: HIKARI KICKS OUT!!! AND NOW LOOK!!! CANDICE HOOKS THE ARMS AND IMMEDIATELY TRANSITIONS INTO HER “HAPPILY EVER AFTER” SUBMISSION!!! HIKARI MIGHT BE IN SOME SERIOUS TROUBLE HERE AS CANDICE HAS IT LOCKED IN DEEP!

James Peters: But luckily it’s Hikari who is close to the ropes like how Candice was earlier….AND HIKARI GETS THERE AND CANDICE IS FORCED TO BREAK IT! Candice is showing perhaps a little bit of frustration thinking she had Hikari dead to rights there. Both of them are making the other earn every inch here tonight and now Candice is thinking on what to do next to achieve victory. Candice then drags Hikari away from the ropes and slowly pucks her up by the head and Hikari us almost like dead weight at this point – OR MAYBE NOT!! INSIDE CRADLE FROM HIKARI!! I THINK HIKARI MAY HAVE BEEN PLAYING POSSUM THERE AS SHE CAUGHT CANDICE OUT OF NOWHERE WITH THE INSIDE CRADLE!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEE!!!

Persephone: OH!!! CANDICE JUST BARELY ESCAPES OUT OF THAT AS BOTH OF THEM STAND UP – AND HIKARI RUNS AND TAKES CANDICE OUT WITH A BIG BOOT RIGHT TO THE FACE! Hikari buys herself some much needed time here as she pulls herself up with the ropes and approaches Candice and begins to hammer away at the back… BEFORE HIKARI GETS HER IN POSITION FOR HER “ALLELUIA!!” NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB!!! BUT CANDICE FIGHTS BACK AS SHE SHOVES HIKARI BACK BEFORE HIKARI CHARGES ONCE MORE – AND CANDICE COUNTERS WITH A FLAPJACK AS HIKARI LANDS FACE FIRST ON THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! This might be a golden opportunity for Candice here to take advantage and score one of the biggest wins of her career!

James Peters: CANDICE STEPS UP BEHIND HIKARI – AND SHE PICKS HER UP…AND CONNECTS WITH THE “RAGS TO RICHES” WHEELBARROW FACEBUSTER!!! CANDICE FLIPS HIKARI OVER AND GOES FOR ANOTHER COVER!! IS THIS GOING TO BE ENOUGH?!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEE!!

Rich Russillo: NO IT’S NOT AS HIKARI AGAIN GETS THE SHOULDER UP!! Candice is showing some frustration but she knows to stay on the attack as she picks Hikati up and tries to goes for “Disneyland Destroyer” for a second time – AND HIKARI ESCAPES IT FOR THE SECOND TIME WITH A BACK BODY DROP! Both of them are down and man what a battle this has been between these two!

Persephone: I hope it never ends! 😀

Rich Russillo: But anyways, both of them stir back to their feet at the same time and turn around to face the other… HEADBUTT FROM CANDICE!! AND THEN A STEP UP KNEE TO THE FACE FROM HIKARI! AND NOW BOTH OF THEN GOING BACK AND FORTH EXCHANGING BLOWS UNTIL HIKARI TRIES TO GO FOR THE “BRIGHTSTAR!!” BUT CANDICE DRIVES THE ELBOW INTO THE FACE OF HIKARI WHO FALLS INTO THE CORNER WHILE CANDICE RUNS OFF THE ROPES… AND HIKARI GOES UNDERNEATH AND SWITCHES TO CANDICE’S BACKSIDE…

James Peters: OH MY!! A SNAP GERMAN SUPLEX AS THE BACK OF CANDICE’S HEAD HITS THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE!! Candice could be in a very vulnerable spot here as Hikari looks to take advantage as she brings Candice up to her feet – HIKARI HAS HER IN PRIME POSITION – “ALLELUIA!!!” THE NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB SPIKING CANDICE’S HEAD INTO THE MAT AS HIKARI FOLLOWS IT UP WITH THE COVER!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEE!!!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Bella Braxton: Here is your winner… THE HARDCORE CHAMPION, HIIIIIKKAAAARRIIIIIII KKAAANNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

(‘Trepanation’ hits as Hikari Kanno slowly rolls off of Candice Blair. She pulls herself back to her feet before being handed her Hardcore Championship, and having her hand raised by the referee.)

James Peters: Great effort by Candice Blair, but there’s a reason Hikari Kanno has been the Hardcore Champion all this time! It’s not going to be that easy putting her down no matter who you are, and Candice had to see that herself tonight.

Rich Russillo: Yeah. Both women had a good showing tonight, but Hikari Kanno walks out of this match the winner as she can now prepare for her next Hardcore Championship defense!

Persephone: Congratulations to Hikari Kanno!

(Hikari is seen raising her title one more time before leaving through the ropes and making her way up the ramp. The crowd cheers loudly for the Hardcore Champion while the camera goes over to Candice Blair being checked on by the referee. Candice, disappointed by the loss, pushes past him and uses the ropes to get back up to her feet. Beginning to leave the ring though, something stops her as the titantron flashes.)

Rich Russillo: OH MY GOD! THERE’S A FIGHT GOING ON BACKSTAGE!

Persephone: Way to state the obvious, Sherlock.

James Peters: THE REST OF THE #DISNEYBESTIES, HALSEY NEEL AND SIERRA EVERETT, HAVE FOUND RONAN MALOSI AND ARE ATTACKING HIM!

(The titantron shows Sierra and Halsey getting the better of Ronan, beating him down while he’s on a knee. Candice watches the scene with a smirk on her face as she stays inside the ring to admire the beatdown that her partners are giving him. They yell at him and pummel him down, with this seeming to be just another beatdown for Ronan to succumb to… until he begins to fight back. He begins to strike, sending both Halsey and Sierra back, and as they separate for the moment it’s revealed that in his hands this entire time he’s had a baseball bat! The element of surprise took him off guard and now that he’s gotten his bearings back it’s more than equal ground with the weapon in his hand. He sends a shot with the bat straight toward the abdomen of Halsey, before he shoves her into Sierra, with both of them toppling over. Halsey is taken out but Sierra gets back up to her feet, lunging and grabbing at the baseball bat to try and pull it away from Ronan, knowing that if they manage to get that away from him it would allow for the upperhand in their favor once again. But Ronan knows that and makes sure that doesn’t happen, sending a boot to the abdomen of Sierra before cracking the baseball bat against the side of her head to send her crumbling down to the ground. Halsey gets back up and makes her way back over as well, jumping at him and beginning to connect with some hard shots to the face, with Ronan dropping the bat after being taken by surprise. The numbers advantage continues to push itself on, but Ronan still refuses to have it, shoving Halsey away and creating distance between the two of them, before stepping forward and connecting with a “Dream Crusher’ right hook to take her down. They try their best to get back up to their feet, but Ronan picks up his weapon once more and is beginning to overwhelm them as he now begins to beat them down on the ground to return the favor. He wails on them relentlessly, with Sierra and Halsey doing everything that they can to fend them off, but it’s to no avail. But combined with the fact that Ronan is the size of both of them combined and the foreign object, their movements begin to slow until they’re completely out. The crowd boo loudly at this while Ronan drops the baseball bat down to the ground, clanking on the floor before he turns around to eye the camera that’s been filming this brawl the whole time.)

(The camera goes back to the arena to show Candice, who has been watching this entire thing go down, looking absolutely livid inside the ring. She’s about to blow a gasket, yelling to have this footage shut off, clearly not going exactly to plan for the rest of her teammates. But it continues showing and the only thing she can really do is watch Ronan beatdown on Sierra and Halsey defenselessly inside the ring. Ronan has stopped though, instead beginning to speak while he takes a moment to try and catch his breath.)

Ronan Malosi: You see this… YOU SEE THIS. You thought it was over for me, you thought that was it. You thought that you were going to be able to push me around like you *presume* you’ve been doing these past couple of weeks. Well guess what, Candice? YOU FAILED.

(Ronan laughs hysterically at all of this while looking back at the bodies of Sierra and Halsey, before then looking back at the camera and beginning to speak.)

Ronan Malosi: Let me tell you one thing, it may look that way, but I am no pushover. I’m not just going to let three women walk in and ruin my road to Pain For Pride all too easily, BECAUSE I KNOW MY WORTH, CANDICE. I KNOW MY WORTH, and if anything it’s above you and your stupid clown car of Elitists who couldn’t find any success elsewhere so they had to cling themselves on to you all of all people. I’m mainstream, I am the best AND most dominant Elitist not just on the Sunday Night Voltage roster, but the ENTIRETY of Elite Answers Wrestling. My time is money, and it shouldn’t be wasted with the likes of you involved. So I’m just going to nip it in the bud, I’m going to set it straight for you and say that you have made the biggest mistake of your life messing with me. If you didn’t realize now, you’re going to regret it because I’ll be more than happy to blow up this stupid #DisneyBesties pet project right in your face. Take what happened to your little cronies tonight as a warning, the consequences of your actions, because I promise you, Candice, after all of this, there’s no going back. If I have to personally get my hands dirty to handle you, which you do not deserve at all, then I will have no problem doing that.

(Candice slams the ropes down in anger, only able to hear Ronan speak right now, unable to do anything in the slightest to help out especially with all the damage that she took in her match against Hikari. Ronan has taken that into consideration as well, a smirk continuing to show on his face while he continues to rub it in her face.)

Ronan Malosi: I can promise no guarantees other than the fact that this is the start of a long downward spiral for you, I will make your life an absolute living hell before I move onto something more worth my talents like the EAW World Championship that I competed for at the start of the Season. You hear that? That means that you have no business being anywhere near me, but out of the kindness of my heart, I decided to give you this spotlight and you should be nothing but grateful instead of responding like this. This is not the uneven fight that you think it is, the only reason that you got this far in the first place is because I ALLOWED YOU TO. But no, no more games, no more tricks, you are going to face my full wrath. Maybe then you’ll realize just exactly who the man is around here, me.

(Ronan looks back at Halsey and Sierra one more time before shoving the camera away from his face, the last shot shown being medical personnel swarming in to check on the duo while Ronan takes his leave. The feed then completely shuts off while Candice is in the corner, despite feeling fatigue from her match, looking like she wants to beat the crap out of Ronan right now. The crowd is electric thanks to what just happened as well.)

Rich Russillo: Well I can’t say I didn’t expect that. Whatever happened to spark that fight backstage it ended in a pretty concise way, and that was Ronan Malosi coming out on top. He made a statement toward all three of the #DisneyBesties by taking on both Sierra Everett and Halsey Neel and beating them down before making a statement to Candice Blair. I certainly haven’t seen this level of aggression out of Ronan in a bit, but if that means anything, it means exactly what he said it meant, and that’s that the fun and games are over and he plans to take all three of them out if that’s what it takes!

James Peters: But just look at how Candice responded to that inside the ring, she is absolutely not taking that lightly and I’m sure that there is going to be hell to pay for Ronan at the hands of the trio these next couple of weeks. Regardless we can say for certain coupled with the loss that Candice just got handed by Hardcore Champion Hikari Kanno, it has not been the night for the three of them that’s for sure.

Persephone: This is nothing new, anyway commercial time, right guys?

(Candice begins to make her way out of the ring, storming up the ramp looking to check on Halsey and Sierra backstage, while it’s the last shot seen before Sunday Night Voltage from there begins to fade out to elsewhere.)

(A commercial is shown for next week’s episode of Saturday Night Showdown headlined by the final showdown between Answers World Champion Jake Smith and Alex Myers.)

(“SUN//EATER” by Lorna Shore can be heard playing in the background as the camera cuts to Yhwach O’Hara ringside, wearing street clothes, and sat down in an office chair next to the announce desk, here to get a ringside view of the action, and appears intently focused.)

Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… YHWACH O’HARA!

(The camera lingers on Yhwach before panning over to Bella Braxton at the ringside area, holding an EAW microphone in hand with a smile on her face.)

Bella Braxton: The following contest is scheduled for…ONE FALL!!

Crowd: ONE FALL!!

(‘A Cruel Angel’s Thesis’ by Yoko Takahashi plays to a positive reaction from fans as Usagi makes her way onto the stage area, looking focused ahead of her match, and stays planted on the stage area as ‘Ambitionz az a Ridah’ by Tupac is next to play. TLA taunts the cheering audience before standing next to Usagi. The two fist bump, united ahead of their match tonight, realizing what a big deal it is to win, and begin marching down to the ring.)

Bella Braxton: Introducing first! At a combined weight of 325 pounds, the team of… USAGI SENSHI AND TLA!!!

James Peters: Both TLA and Usagi have major opportunities ahead of them tonight, getting the opportunity to face Drake King and Methuselah, their first true test as a unit.

Rich Russillo: Yes, both TLA and Usagi are more than formidable, and if Drake King or Methuselah underestimate them, they could pay the price. Granted, I don’t think either can underestimate TLA, especially Drake King.

Persephone: You keep saying Drake King and Methuselah, who’s to say Methuselah even showed up yet?

(The reaction turns sour as ‘Low of Solipsism II’ by Yoshihisa Hirano blares throughout the arena, and Drake King walks down to the ring, constantly looking over his shoulder, holding out some sliver of hope that Methuselah will arrive, but it’s clear that Drake is nervous.)

Bella Braxton: And their opponent! Residing out of The Dead Sea, Israel, weighing in at 220 pounds…HE IS THE END OF THE WORLD…DRAKE KING!!

James Peters: Well, it appears as if you’re right, Persephone. Drake King doesn’t carry the confidence of someone teaming with Methuselah.

Rich Russillo: Well, we need to start asking questions. Like, where is Methuselah?

Persephone: If he doesn’t arrive, guess they’ll just have to call the match off… “oh no.” :lupe:

James Peters: No one in New Jersey would be happy with that, I’ll tell you that much.

(‘Low of Solipsism II’ by Yoshihisa Hirano fades out, and Usagi Senshi is on the apron while TLA is inside the ring, starting things off for his team. The two are discussing strategy, and the referee goes to signal for the bell, but Drake King stops him, beginning to argue with the referee before sticking his head through the middle rope, and demanding a microphone, which he soon gets handed to him. Drake King paces back and forth while talking, staring directly at TLA and Usagi, and visibly stressed by this whole ordeal.)

Drake King: Hey, hey, hey! It’s clear Methuselah isn’t here, so I don’t know what you’re expecting me to do! Compete in a two-on-one handicap match?!

Crowd: YES! YES! YES!

Drake King: NO! I’m one man, they’re two people, and I can’t fight those odds by myself! If Methuselah isn’t here, we’re just going to have to call the match off! It is the FAIR thing to d-

(‘Self Help Tape’ by Moses Sumney plays, which causes a spike in the crowd reaction, happy to see the Voltage Commissioner, Captain Charisma, who walks onto the stage, holding a microphone in hand. Drake is very irritated by Captain Charisma’s presence, knowing it never leads to anything good for him.)

Captain Charisma: Drake, Drake, Drake… I realize that competing in a two-on-one handicap isn’t… ideal. But luckily for you, it won’t last long, okay? Because I just got off the phone with Methuselah, and he told me to go ahead, and start the match. He should be here very shortly.

Drake King: 😐

(TLA and Usagi are smiling at the idea of Drake King having to compete against them solo, even the fans are loving it, including Yhwach on the outside. On the other hand, Drake HATES it, and leans out over the top rope, yelling at Captain Charisma.)

Drake King: No, no, NO! You can’t do this to me!

Captain Charisma: I’M not doing anything. Remember, I said it was Methuselah who made the call, and he is the chairman, soo… who am I to overrule him, right? Go ahead, and ring the bell!

(Drake King tosses his mic to the ringside floor in anger, yelling at Captain Charisma, who waves goodbye to Drake as he heads to the back. Drake catches up with the referee, who’s going to signal for the bell to ring. Drake is pleading with the referee to not start it, but the referee ignores him, signaling the bell anyway, making Drake more irate than before.)

(DING! DING! DING!)

James Peters: Welp, whether Drake likes it or not, the match is happening.

Persephone: Well, all he has to do is hold out till Methuselah gets here, doesn’t sound too hard!

Rich Russillo: I realize the situation isn’t ideal for him, but right now, Drake needs to focus, because-

(Drake is busy arguing with the referee to call the match off, so it doesn’t set in for him that the match has started. Early on, he’s made the crucial mistake of turning his back to the opponent, which TLA capitalizes on.)

James Peters: ROLL UP! TLA WITH A SCHOOL BOY ROLL UP!

ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRR-

James Peters: KICKOUT! DRAKE STAYS ALIVE! Both competitors rush to a knee, and TLA signals he was 🤏 this close to putting Drake away.

Rich Russillo: Usually, in a two-on-one situation like this, Drake would be the good guy, but it’s clear no one in New Jersey holds any sympathy for him.

James Peters: I mean, Yhwach was on the receiving end of a two-on-one himself at Tempest in what was supposed to be a singles match.

Rich Russillo: Exactly, to some, it’s just what comes around goes around.

James Peters: Both competitors rise back to their feet, and circle one another. A collar and elbow tie-up takes place in the center of the ring. TLA gains the advantage early, quickly spinning Drake around for a rear waistlock. Drake pries the hands of TLA apart, isolating his left arm, and placing TLA in a hammerlock.

Rich Russillo: Drake transitions into a side headlock takedown, and has TLA grounded, which is probably a smart decision, knowing TLA thrives on fast paced, high flying action. Although, while having the grounded side headlock applied, you can see Drake is looking out at the stage area, still awaiting the arrival of Methusaleh.

Persephone: Who knows? He might be waiting all night.

James Peters: Drake doesn’t have much time to worry as TLA escapes the side headlock with a headscissors. Drake moves to a front neck bridge, and pushes his head out from between TLA’s legs, that is before pouncing back on him for the grounded side headlock.

Rich Russillo: TLA powers back to his feet, and Drake King pivots his game plan, wringing the arm of TLA, and gaining control of the wrist. TLA rolls to a seated position, and rolls back to his feet. TLA wrings the arm of King, and has so much force and momentum behind it, it flips Drake on his back! TLA quickly covers!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

James Peters: Drake emphatically kicks out, and both competitors rush back to their feet! Drake tries for a kick to the midsection, hoping to halt any momentum TLA is trying to build, BUT TLA CATCHES THE LEG! Drake King is taking swipes at TLA, even while on one foot, but he’s out of reach, and TLA drops Drake with a spinning leg sweep!

Rich Russillo: Usagi likes what she sees on the apron! Drake gets back to his feet, but you can tell he’s a bit stunned off the onslaught of attack he’s received by TLA. Speaking of, TLA grabs Drake in a standing side headlock, which causes Drake to back TLA in the corner. The referee intervenes, trying to force a break between both men.

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

James Peters: TLA lets go, and it looks as if we’re going to get a clean br- OOH! Nevermind as Drake King popped TLA in the mouth with a right hand! He might be frustrated with Methuselah, he might be frustrated with Captain Charisma’s decision making, and he might be frustrated with TLA’s offense already, but Drake is putting that anger, putting that aggression to good use, stomping TLA down to a seated position in the corner!

Rich Russillo: The referee pulls Drake out of the corner, creating separation between himself and TLA, who sticks close to the ropes as he crawls out of the corner. Drake King marches toward TLA, and clubs him on the back before lifting TLA back to his feet, and bouncing him face first off the top turnbuckle in his corner. Methuselah should be there on the apron, but as you can see, he’s not.

James Peters: Tell me, in a match like this, what do you think Drake’s strategy should be for taking on Usagi and TLA?

Rich Russillo: I’d do exactly what Drake is doing right now. I’d do my best to boil it down to a one-on-one affair, leaving the partner out of it.

James Peters: :notbad:

Persephone: Usagi’s yet to tag in, and I’m sure Drake would like to keep it that way. If you ask me, he needs to hurry up, and finish the match.

James Peters: Of course that’d be your advice.

Persephone: Why not? It’s solid advice! 😇

James Peters: :mjpls: Turning attention back to the in-ring action, Drake King scores with a hard body shot to the abdomen of TLA. Drake follows that up with a stiff back elbow in the corner. TLA is reeling, and Drake King walks over to Usagi Senshi’s vicinity, locking eyes with her briefly before he spins around, and charges full steam ahead at TLA!

Rich Russillo: TLA GETS THE BOOT UP, PUTTING AN END TO WHATEVER DRAKE HAD PLANNED! King spins around, and stumbles to the center of the ring, clutching at his jaw, having been caught flush by TLA, WHO RUNS OFF THE ROPES IN FRONT OF DRAKE TO DELIVER A HURRICANRANA!

James Peters: Drake rolls out underneath the bottom rope, and remains on his feet, favoring his back in pain. TLA looks to the crowd, and wheels are beginning to turn in his head. TLA ISN’T DONE, AND REBOUNDS OFF THE ROPES, SO HE CAN FLY OVER THE TOP WITH A CORKSCREW PLANCHA ONTO DRAKE!

Rich Russillo: KING HAS BEEN WIPED OUT, AND TLA ROLLS HIM BACK INSIDE THE RING! THIS COULD OVER ALREADY AS DRAKE IS SPRAWLED ON THE CANVAS, AND IN PERFECT DROPZONE DISTANCE FOR BURNOUT AS TLA SCALES THE TOP TURNBUCKLE!

James Peters: NO! Drake King manages to roll out of the way, and gets to his feet with assistance from the ropes. TLA, along with the fans are visibly annoyed Drake got out of the way. But TLA is a Hall of Famer, and knows when one plan fails, you’ve always got to have another to fall back on.

Rich Russillo: TLA drops off the top turnbuckle, AND CHARGES FULL STEAM AHEAD AT DRAKE FOR A CROSSBODY, SENDING BOTH MEN UP AND OVER THE TOP ROPE! TLA RUSHES BACK TO HIS FEET, AND CLIMBS UP ON THE APRON, SCALING TO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE, HAVING HIS BACK TURNED TOWARDS KING!

James Peters: Drake gets to his feet ringside, AND TLA SOARS OFF THE TOP TURNBUCKLE WITH A MOONSAULT! TLA pops back to his feet, and taunts to the audience, who are ELECTRIC! Part of Yhwach has to be enjoying this.

Persephone: I mean, it’s Drake King getting exactly what he deserves… some would say.

James Peters: TLA rolls Drake back into the ring, and hooks the leg deep for a cover!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

TH-

James Peters: No! Drake gets the shoulder up, and manages to stay alive! King sits up, but you can tell he’s currently being overwhelmed by TLA, who pulls him back to his feet. BUT DRAKE KING EXPLODES WITH A KNIFE EDGE CHOP TO THE CHEST OF TLA, WHO GETS KNOCKED BACK AGAINST THE ROPES! THAT CHOP ECHOED THROUGHOUT THE ARENA!

Rich Russillo: I could hear it from here. Drake has other cruel intentions in the mind, however, and runs off the opposite set of ropes to TLA!

**TAG!!**

Rich Russillo: Tag! Usagi tagged TLA on the back, and TLA bounces off the ropes! Both competitors charge directly at one another, and TLA ducks underneath a clothesline attempt from King! Drake goes to run off the opposite set of ropes to TLA a second time! BUT FROM THE OUTSIDE, USAGI GRABS THE ANKLE OF KING, AND TRIPS HIM UP, CAUSING DRAKE TO FACEPLANT ON THE CANVAS!

James Peters: TLA brings his momentum to a halt after rebounding off the ropes, stopping himself short of King, who gets to all fours. TLA pulls Drake back to his feet, and plants him with a snap suplex! USAGI PERCHES HERSELF ON THE TOP ROPE, AND DIVES OFF WITH A FROG SPLASH! DOUBLE TEAM OFFENSE BY USAGI AND TLA, WHO AREN’T EVEN A TEAM! USAGI HOOKS THE LEG OFF THAT FROG SPLASH!

ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Rich Russillo: KICKOUT! Drake King sits up, and Usagi barely gives him a sliver of breathing room, grabbing Drake in a rear chinlock. As you mentioned, James, TLA and Usagi aren’t even a team, but are working well as one. I imagine willingness does play a part. Neither competitor want to lose, and if Methuselah doesn’t show up, practically has this win handed to them on a silver platter.

James Peters: I wouldn’t say that. Don’t count out Drake King for a second. Even if that man were on his deathbed, I wouldn’t count him out. I remember Territorial Invasion, that man was locked in a storage closet, and STILL found a way out. If he’s determined to do something, believe me, Drake King will go out of his way to achieve it.

Persephone: I almost forgot about the closet incident. :mjgrinmask:

Rich Russillo: I’m sure Drake would like to. But back inside the ring, Drake powers back to his feet, and backs Usagi in her corner, trying to force a break.

**TAG!!**

Rich Russillo: TLA made the tag out to Usagi, who still has Drake trapped in that side headlock while being pinned up against the corner, almost keeping him defenseless from a KICK TO THE RIBS by TLA!

James Peters: Usagi exits the ring, and TLA grabs Drake by the neck, shoving him back into the corner for right hand shots to the face, followed by stomps that sink Drake down to a seated position in the corner. The referee intervenes with a five count.

Referee: ONE! TWO!

Rich Russillo: TLA quickly backs away from Drake, but is right back on the attack with repeated stomps in the corner!

**TAG!!**

Rich Russillo: Tag! Usagi enters the ring, and gets a piece of the action, stomping down on Drake herself!

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!

**TAG!!**

James Peters: Here comes TLA again, picking up where Usagi left off, reigning down with stomps!

**TAG!!**

James Peters: TLA backs away from Drake, and Usagi re-enters the ring, now the legal competitor. Usagi grabs hold of TLA’s wrist, and goes to irish whip him in the corner. But TLA shifts the momentum, whipping Usagi to Drake instead for a SLIDING ELBOW SMASH! Usagi grabs hold of Drake’s ankle, and drags him out of the corner for a cover!

ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHH-

Rich Russillo: Shoulder up!

Persephone: Drake must be a glutton for punishment at this point.

Rich Russillo: Drake rolls out underneath the bottom rope, and finds himself on the apron, the same apron as TLA, who doesn’t attempt anything. Instead, he’s letting his partner go to work. Drake gets up to a knee, and Usagi reaches out over the top rope, grabbing a handful of hair, lifting him back to a vertical base.

James Peters: HOTSHOT! Drake hotshots Usagi throat first on the top rope! Usagi goes down, gasping for air as she rises to all fours. She has her back turned to King, who rolls back in the ring, AND KNOCKS TLA OFF THE APRON WITH A RUNNING FOREARM SHOT! Drake smirks at his handiwork while peering out over the top rope, and hops to the middle rope, lining Usagi up as she gets to her feet.

Rich Russillo: DIVING CROSSBODY! WAIT! USAGI ROLLS THROUGH, HOOKING THE LEG DEEP!

ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Rich Russillo: Kickout at two! Both competitors scramble back to their feet, and Drake gets hoisted up in a fireman’s carry! USAGI WANTS THE CRITICAL DARLING- BUT DRAKE AVOIDS IT, SLIPPING OFF HER SHOULDERS, AND SHOVING USAGI FORWARD! Usagi halts her momentum, hooking her arm on the top rope, so she doesn’t go rebounding back into the waiting arms of Drake King.

James Peters: DRAKE CHARGES IN, CLOSING THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THEM! BUT USAGI LOW BRIDGES THE TOP ROPE, SENDING DRAKE RINGSIDE! King gets to all fours as the referee starts counting!

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!

Rich Russillo: Usagi exits the ring as Drake stumbles back to his feet. Drake realizes Usagi is hot on his heels, and does his best to get away, rounding the ringpost, and finding himself in front of our announce table area. But TLA is back to his feet, and hasn’t forgotten about that forearm he received from Drake, staring daggers into him.

James Peters: Drake wants none of this right now, and tries to turn around, but gets caught with a kick to the gut by Usagi, who was standing right behind him. TLA gets out of the way, and Usagi grabs the back of Drake’s head, running alongside him as she sends Drake GUT FIRST into the steel steps!

Rich Russillo: That was right in front of Yhwach, who has a look of amusement on his face right now.

James Peters: Drake tries crawling away from Usagi, needing to get a bit of breathing room, but Usagi easily catches up to him, pulling Drake back to his feet, and grabbing the back of his head again, sending Drake SHOULDER FIRST into another set of steel steps!

Persephone: :yikes: It’s not looking good for Drake.

Rich Russillo: Usagi rolls back inside the ring briefly before rolling back out, restarting the referee’s count. Drake is trying to crawl up the ramp, possibly trying to skip out on the match. After all, he didn’t want it to happen in the first place.

James Peters: However, Usagi catches up to him again, and brings Drake back to his feet. Usagi winds back, and unleashes a vicious forearm strike! Drake spins around, and staggers away from Senshi, sliding back inside the ring.

Rich Russillo: Drake King gets to all fours, and Usagi climbs up on the apron, looking to enter back through the middle rope. BEFORE SHE COULD GET OTHER LEG THROUGH, DRAKE GRABBED HER IN A FRONT FACELOCK, AND SPIKED HER WITH A DDT! Drake shoots the half on Usagi for a cover!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

James Peters: Kickout at two! Anger is etched across the face of King, he is over all this, and ready to put the hurt on Usagi, who is up on all fours. DRAKE RUNS OFF THE ROPES IN FRONT OF HER, AND CONNECTS WITH A SLINGBLADE AS SHE GOT BACK TO HER FEET! DRAKE RUSHES INTO A COVER!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Rich Russillo: Again, kickout at two! Usagi pulls herself up in the corner, AND DRAKE KEEPS THE PRESSURE ON WITH A RUNNING FOREARM SMASH IN THE CORNER! USAGI IS STUNNED, AND DRAKE FOLLOWS THAT UP WITH A FALCONS ARROW! HE PULLS BACK ON THE LEG OF USAGI FOR A MODIFIED COVER OF SORTS!

ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHHHHHHHH-

James Peters: Usagi still manages to kickout!

Persephone: The fun appears to be over as Drake King is starting to pick up momentum.

James Peters: Drake rises back to his feet, and Usagi rises to a knee. Drake grabs her head, but gets fended off with a right hand to the face! Drake staggers back a bit, but grabs hold of Usagi again, getting caught with a second right hand! Usagi is back to her feet, and connects with a forearm smash!

Rich Russillo: She’s gearing up for the elite combo possibly as she tries for the European uppercut! BUT DRAKE TWIRLS AROUND TO AVOID IT, AND LANDS A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION OF USAGI, DOUBLING HER OVER FOR A BUCKLE BOMB IN THE CORNER! Usagi collapses to a prone position, and Drake shoots the half, hooking the leg for a cover!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

TH-

James Peters: Two count! Drake’s frustration is showing, and he’s ready to close the book on this match, pulling Usagi back to her feet, and placing her head between his legs. He’s hooking both arms, setting up for Ascension! BUT USAGI BACKPEDALS UP AGAINST THE ROPES, AND BACK BODY DROPS DRAKE KING UP AND OVER THE TOP ROPE!

Rich Russillo: Look! Drake caught himself on the apron, and Usagi doesn’t realize it yet as she doubles over from exhaustion. DRAKE TRIES SPRINGING OFF THE TOP ROPE, BUT USAGI TURNS AROUND, AND SHOVES HIM OFF BACK FIRST INTO THE BARRICADE!

James Peters: Usagi staggers over to TLA, and tags out!

**TAG!!**

Persephone: The tag is made official, and TLA starts climbing to the top turnbuckle.

James Peters: I’m unsure what he’s doing. TLA is on the bottom right corner of the ring, Drake is at the north side of the barricade area. Wait… WAIT, TLA IS WALKING THE ROPE TO THE OPPOSITE CORNER, AND DIVES ONTO KING WITH A FOSBURY FLOP! HE CALLS THAT WALK DA WALK!

Rich Russillo: TLA SLIDES DRAKE BACK INSIDE THE RING, AND SLIDES IN AFTER HIM! DRAKE GETS TO HIS FEET AT THE SAME TIME AS TLA, AND TRIES TO LIFT HIM UP FOR A BODY SLAM! BUT TLA SLIPS OUT THE BACK, AND SPINS DRAKE AROUND FOR A MEXICAN DESTROYER! DRAKE GOT SPIKED ON HIS HEAD, AND TLA SHOOTS THE HALF, HOOKING THE INSIDE LEG!

ONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Persephone: Its over!

James Peters: NO! DRAKE GOT HIS FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE, NARROWLY ESCAPING DEFEAT THERE! Surely even Yhwach has to be shocked!

Rich Russillo: TLA gets to his feet, and tags back out to Usagi, giving her the reins to inflict more punishment on Drake.

**TAG!!**

James Peters: Drake pulls himself up in the opposite corner, looking exhausted. Still no signs of Methuselah, but the end may be drawing near as Usagi CHARGES HIM IN THE CORNER FOR A RUNNING LARIAT! Usagi climbs to the middle rope, and starts to reign down with punches, allowing the crowd to count along!

Crowd: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!

Rich Russillo: DRAKE! DRAKE HOOKS USAGI IN POSITION FOR A POWERBOMB, AND BUCKLE BOMBS HER IN THE OPPOSITE CORNER! HER ELBOW CAUGHT TLA ON THE JAW, KNOCKING HIM OFF THE APRON! USAGI STAGGERS OUT OF THE CORNER, AND GETS PLACED IN POSITION FOR THE PEDIGREE! ASCENSION MIGHT CONNECT! USAGI IS THRASHING AROUND, GIVING DRAKE SOME TROUBLE, BUT HE HAS BOTH ARMS FIRMLY HOOKED!

(The crowd reaction rises at seeing Methuselah run down towards the ring, hurriedly taking off his entrance jacket, and leaving it on the ramp. Drake’s attention is diverted by this, as he’s facing directly towards the stage area.)

James Peters: JACKKNIFE COVER BY USAGI!

ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

James Peters: CAN METHUSELAH MAKE IT IN TIME?!

THHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Bella Braxton: HERE ARE YOUR WINNERS… USAGI SENSHI AND TLA!!

(‘A Cruel Angel’s Thesis’ by Yoko Takahashi plays, and Usagi quickly rolls out of the ring to celebrate with TLA ringside. Methuselah slides in the ring, and has a shocked look on his face as he lies prone. Drake King sits up, and clearly isn’t happy with what went down, staring daggers into Methuselah, fuming after what went down. The camera zooms in on Yhwach’s facial reaction ringside, and a small smirk creeps across his face, finding amusement in it all.)

James Peters: Wow! What a win for Usagi, she just pinned a multiple time World Champion in Drake King!

Rich Russillo: Granted, that was thanks to an unintentional distraction by Methuselah, but it won’t say that in the record books.

James Peters: Nope, all it’ll tell you is winners and losers, and tonight, TLA and Usagi Senshi are winners.

Rich Russillo: They are widing a wave of momentum heading into Grand Rampage!

Persephone: I’m baffled by the events that transpired. I mean, Methuselah was no help at all!

James Peters: Maybe we’ll find out as to why.

(Usagi and TLA backpedal up the apron celebrating, and ‘A Cruel Angel’s Thesis’ – Yoko Takahashi starts to fade out as both Drake and Methuselah get back to their feet. Drake is giving out to Methuselah off-mic as Methuselah walks over to the bottom right corner of the ring, sticking his head out, and requesting a mic, which he soon gets from our ring announcer, Bella Braxton. Methuselah ducks his head back inside the ring, and Drake is still giving out to him, although the mic doesn’t pick up what he’s saying. Methuselah prepares to speak, sticking his free hand up, signaling for Drake to calm down.)

Methuselah: Drake, calm down, calm down, I understand why you’re angry. I’d be angry too if my partner left me high and dry, but it’s not what it looks like. You see, I have a very good reason for missing our match, and once you’re married, once you have a family, you’ll come to understand that a happy wife equals a happy life. Kassidy wanted my attention, and who am I to tell her no when she is… you know… 😉

(The crowd laughs at this, and Methuselah nudges Drake, expecting him to react positively, but Drake looks more disgusted if anything, not needing to know what Methuselah and Kassidy Heart do behind closed doors. But while he’s flustered, that feeling quickly goes back to anger as he snatches the mic out of Methuselah’s hand.)

Drake King: First of all, gross. I did not ask for that much information. Second of all, you STILL had a match to show up for, and didn’t!

(Methuselah requests the mic back, and Drake gives it to him, hoping Methuselah will offer a worthy rebuttal.)

Methuselah: Look. There is more to life than winning and losing, right? That’s what you always preach! …besides, wasn’t it last season you left Chris Elite hanging against Myles and Minerva? You assaulted her father, and left Chris to fend for himself!

(The crowd goes :damn:, shocked that Methuselah would call Drake King out on his hypocrisy in such a manner.)

Drake King: :francis:

Methuselah: :mjlol2: I’ll tell you what. Let me make it up to you. How about… at Grand Rampage, you enter the match… at number 30???

(Methuselah looks around to gauge crowd reaction, and they’ve all begun chanting “NO!” They realize the threat Drake could be, having a number like that. Methuselah is smiling, thinking that’s a more than fair trade, but Drake King is more confused than anything, trying to do the math in his head. Drake requests another microphone, which an official gives him, and he brings the microphone close to his mouth.)

Drake King: Wait. Why wouldn’t you give your wife that number? :comeagain:

Methuselah:  Eh. She likes to do things her own way.

(Gears start turning in Drake’s head.)

Drake King: Well… fine. I’ll take it. But! That doesn’t excuse the fact you should have been here when I needed you.

Methuselah: Drake- DRAKE, LOOK OUT!

(Methuselah shoves Drake aside as-)

James Peters: YHWACH! I ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT YHWACH! HE STUCK AROUND, AND THIS MUST BE THE REASON WHY AS HE TACKLES METHUSELAH DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A RUNNING CROSSBODY!

Rich Russillo: YHWACH KNEELS DOWN TO NEXT TO METHUSELAH, AND TAGS HIM WITH REPEATED RIGHT HANDS TO THE SKULL AS METHUSELAH DOES HIS BEST TO COVER UP!

James Peters: DRAKE KING INTERJECTS HIMSELF, TACKLING YHWACH DOWN, AND MOUNTING HIM WITH RIGHT HANDS HIMSELF! METHUSELAH IS BACK TO HIS FEET, AND PULLS DRAKE OFF, WANTING A PIECE OF YHWACH AS WELL, NOW MOUNTING HIM WITH RIGHT HANDS!

Rich Russillo: METHUSELAH FINALLY DETACHES HIMSELF FROM YHWACH, FIRED UP AFTER BEING ATTACKED! DRAKE KING PULLS YHWACH BACK TO HIS FEET, AND TRIES FOR A RIGHT HAND, BUT YHWACH BLOCKS IT, FIRING BACK WITH ONE OF HIS OWN!

James Peters: DRAKE IS ON WOBBLY LEGS AFTER THAT ONE! METHUSELAH TRIES TO GET HIM SOME, GOING FOR A RIGHT HAND, BUT YHWACH BLOCKS THAT ONE ALSO, AND STARTS HAMMERING METHUSELAH WITH MULTIPLE RIGHT HANDS, FIGHTING BACK!

Rich Russillo: METHUSELAH SPINS AROUND OFF THAT LAST PUNCH, AND STAGGERS INTO THE CORNER, TRYING TO CREATE SEPARATION BETWEEN HIMSELF AND YHWACH! O’HARA TURNS AROUND, KNOWING HE NEEDS TO GET DRAKE AS WELL- BUT TURNS RIGHT INTO A SUPERKICK FROM KING!

James Peters: YHWACH’S BALANCE IS OFF, HE CAN BARELY STAND AS HE GOT CAUGHT FLUSH WITH THE SUPERKICK, AND SPEARS AROUND INTO A SPEAR! METHUSELAH CHARGED OUT OF THE CORNER WITH A SPEAR, AND YHWACH GOES DOWN!

Rich Russillo: SURPRISINGLY, HE STILL HAS SOME FIGHT LEFT IN HIM, AND TRIES GETTING BACK TO HIS FEET, BUT CAN ONLY GET TO ALL FOURS BEFORE DRAKE RUNS OFF THE ROPES, AND LEAPS IN THE AIR FOR JUDGEMENT DAY! IF HE WASN’T BEFORE, YHWACH IS CERTAINLY OUT NOW!

Persephone: No offense, but he walked into a two-on-one, what did he expect?

James Peters: Yhwach tried to overcome the numbers game, but failed in the end, and it’s Drake King and Methuselah who are standing tall.

Rich Russillo: That’s a turn of events if I’ve ever seen one. They may have lost the tag team match, but they certainly don’t look like losers right now.

(Drake and Methuselah stand over the prone Yhwach O’Hara, who is motionless on the canvas while an official checks on him. The arena is filling with boos, which neither Drake or Methuselah pay any mind to, solely staring down at Yhwach as the camera fades elsewhere.)

(A commercial is shown for Doordash featuring Ronan Malosi and Jon Kelton.)

(‘Kamikaze’ by RedHook hits, and this causes a positive reaction to come from the crowd. The fans cheer, and before long Daryl Kinkade makes his entrance following his match against Sheridan Müller earlier in the night. Daryl is holding a microphone in his hand, and he doesn’t look too happy, which is of course thanks to the outcome of his match tonight, where Sheridan was able to pick up the victory over him. Daryl walks down the ramp and approaches the ring, thinking about the upcoming EAW World Championship match as he looks focused.)

James Peters: Daryl Kinkade is preparing for his EAW World Championship match at Grand Rampage, and while he did lose to Sheridan Müller earlier tonight, it looks like that won’t be stopping him from sharing a few words with us.

Rich Russillo: Well I think we know exactly who he’s planning to address, and it’s not Sheridan. After what happened last week, and knowing that Grand Rampage is so close, he definitely has something to say to the EAW World Champion himself.

James Peters: Yeah, and with his own match up next, there’s no doubt Myles is listening.

Persephone: I wonder what Daryl’s gonna say. Do you guys think he’s forfeiting his Grand Rampage match?

(The question is ignored as Daryl walks up the steel steps, entering the ring through the ropes. Daryl paces around the ring for a few seconds as the fans begin to quiet down.)

Daryl Kinkade: Last week, Myles told me to “show him” what kind of competitor I was. He told me to show him whether I was the kind of man that’d actually pose a threat to his Championship reign or the kind that’d just be added to his list of successful title defenses without putting up much of a fight. He wanted to know whether or not I should even show up to Grand Rampage. I’ve been able to tolerate a lot since I returned to EAW, but I’m not going to be disrespected by the man I earned the opportunity to face at Grand Rampage. I’m not going to be disrespected by the man I’m going to dethrone in just a few weeks, and that’s why I did what I did. That’s why I laid Myles out, and come Grand Rampage he’ll have the opportunity to relive that moment, only this time I won’t be laying him out for the sake of sending a message and showing him that I’m not the kind of guy you want to overlook. At Grand Rampage I’ll be showing him what kind of competitor I am by taking his EAW World Championship and returning to Voltage with my FIRST World title.

Daryl Kinkade: I’m aware of what happened in my match against Sheridan Müller. That match didn’t go my way, and I can accept that. Sheridan was the better competitor, but I hope Myles understands that he won’t be finding the result Sheridan did. That match at Grand Rampage, that’s what I’ve spent months working towards. That’s the match we’ve all been waiting for. That’s the match I’ve been waiting for, and when we enter the ring at Grand Rampage Myles, you’re going to see Daryl Kinkade at his best. You’re going to see me at the top of my game. You’re going to get exactly what you were looking for out of this match and a whole lot more, because I’m not just going to be a good challenge for you. I’m not just going to put up a fight, I’m going to be the one who defeats you and cuts this title reign short. I’m ready for Grand Rampage, Myles. I’m ready for my shot at becoming World Champion, and if you really think I’m nothing more than another victim, another name to add to your list alongside Samael, another number in your list of title defenses, you’re going to be left embarrassed in just a few short weeks.

(The fans cheer, and Daryl Kinkade continues.)

Daryl Kinkade: I’m aware that this is one of the biggest matches of my career. This is one of the biggest opportunities I’ve had yet, and if I lost this close to Pain for Pride there’d be no telling when I’d find myself back in the World Championship picture. There’s a lot on the line for me at Grand Rampage, and I won’t be allowing an opportunity like this to pass me by, not that easily. You’re not ready for what’s coming at Grand Rampage and I’m sure of that, Myles. You’re a talented competitor in your own right. You won the World Championship for the second time less than a year after your first reign ended, and you’ve already managed to defend the title successfully against the former 24/7 Contract holder, but I am not Samael. I’m not going to make the same mistakes that he did, and when Grand Rampage comes around Myles you’re going to realize that you never needed to ask me what kind of competitor I am. You’re going to realize that you didn’t need to try and push me, or remind me that facing you won’t be like any of the matches I’ve had recently. I know exactly what I’ll be getting myself into once I step into the ring at Grand Rampage. You can’t say the same for yourself, and that’s why you’re going to lose-

(‘Enemy Strike’ by Yuki Hayashi hits, and there’s another loud burst of cheers from the crowd as the EAW World Champion walks out, cutting Daryl Kinkade off before he could even finish his sentence. Myles is holding his Championship on his shoulder, and in his free hand is a microphone. Myles stares directly at his challenger for his title defense at Grand Rampage, and he begins walking down the ramp as the cheers continue.)

James Peters: Now it’s Myles making his way out, and while he does have a special Champion versus Champion match up next, it looks like he’ll be addressing his challenger first.

Rich Russillo: I don’t blame him. Daryl had some strong words for Myles and he made some big promises. If I had to walk out here for my match anyway, why not respond to him?

Persephone: Yes, Myles should take all the time he needs! The main event will probably go for a while anyway, might as well keep me here even longer.

(Myles enters the ring, and he doesn’t look very impressed with Daryl Kinkade. Walking up to him, he begins to speak.)

Myles: Really, Daryl? Is this really what you have to offer? Promises that you can’t keep? Promises that are being held up by victories against Ronan Malosi and losses against Sheridan Müller? Is this really what I should be expecting heading into Grand Rampage? Even if I were to take your word for it, and walk into Grand Rampage with this belief that you’re going to bring out a side of yourself that we haven’t seen before, do you really believe that it’ll be enough to reach the height that I’m at right now? Do you really believe that you’re capable of climbing to the top of this mountain even after spending an entire season struggling to get anywhere close? I’m not walking into this match just to defend my title. I’m walking into this match to prove a point, to show this company who the number one name on this brand really is, and I won’t be slowing down just so you can keep up with me. This is the EAW World Championship, Daryl. This isn’t any other match. This isn’t even any other marquee match. You’re fighting for the top spot on this brand and in a few weeks you’ll be competing against someone that not only wants to be here, but knows that they belong here. You can’t reach the level that I’m at, Daryl.

Daryl Kinkade: You can keep saying that now Myles, but I intend to keep my promise. I told you that I knew who I was up against. I’m not in the dark here, I saw your match against Samael. I saw your match against Minerva and TLA. I saw your performance against Yhwach O’Hara and everything in between, I know how much of a threat you are. The fact that you’re still underestimating me and still treating me as someone that just doesn’t understand what they’re getting themselves into, it tells me that you can’t say the same. It tells me that you don’t know what I can do.

Myles: Maybe, or maybe I just see no reason to keep getting my hopes up, knowing that I’ll just be left disappointed week after week. We saw what happened tonight in your match against Sheridan Müller. This was your second chance. This was your opportunity to prove to me, against an opponent far superior to the likes of Ronan, that you actually had what it takes to compete anywhere near my level. That was your chance to actually make the statement you were trying to when you attacked me last week, and you blew it. You screwed up, and now you expect me to believe that at Grand Rampage you’re magically going to become an entirely new competitor, a competitor that I’m somehow not going to be prepared for despite seeing your performances all throughout the season? Listen to yourself, Daryl? Don’t you think that sounds stupid? If that was the best you really had to offer, then I don’t regret a single word I said last week. If this is even close to the full extent of your wrestling ability, don’t expect to leave Grand Rampage with my Championship.

(This begins to annoy Daryl, who quickly responds.)

Daryl Kinkade: Alright, Myles. I get it, I lost to Sheridan. There’s really nothing I can do about that besides accept that she was the better competitor tonight and move on. I just hope you haven’t forgotten that you still have a match tonight, and you’d be better off making sure you win that before making any promises.

Myles: I will win, Daryl. I don’t have any doubts about that.

Daryl Kinkade: So you think that you can do better against Bethany?

Myles: I know I can.

(Daryl takes just a few seconds to think, before nodding his head.)

Daryl Kinkade: Alright then, that settles it. If you think you can do better than me, go ahead and prove it. I’ll be right here watching.

(Daryl Kinkade slowly exits the ring, making his way out to ringside before turning back to Myles, who isn’t all that impressed.)

Myles: I hope you understand that I couldn’t care less about you being out there. You can take a seat, do whatever you want. I’ll win the match, just like I promised.

Daryl Kinkade: Good, you do that.

(Myles and Daryl have a brief staredown, before Myles just drops his microphone, shrugging his shoulders as he prepares for his upcoming match. Daryl Kinkade stands at ringside, waiting for the match.)

James Peters: Well things have taken a turn I didn’t really expect! It looks like Daryl will be here at ringside for tonight’s main event, and it’s not like this will be just any other match! This is Myles versus Dr. Bethany Blue, Champion versus Champion!

Rich Russillo: Yeah. EAW World Champion versus Universal Women’s Champion to be precise, and it’s safe to say that this won’t be an easy match.

Persephone: It definitely will be an exciting one though! Myles and Dr. Bethany Blue, aren’t they just great?

James Peters: They are, and it’ll be interesting seeing how this match plays out. I think it’s clear Daryl wants only one outcome though, and it’s not Myles winning.

(Daryl Kinkade takes a chair from ringside and sets it down, taking a seat as he prepares to watch the main event match. Myles waits in his corner with his EAW World Championship in his hand.)

(Promotional ad for Grand Rampage, where Myles takes on Daryl Kinkade for the EAW World Championship.)

(Voltage returns to ringside as ‘Enemy Strike’ by Yuki Hayashi is heard playing. Daryl Kinkade is seen seated at ringside, meanwhile the EAW World Champion Myles is still inside of the ring, prepared for his match.)

Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen… The following contest is a CHAMPION VERSUS CHAMPION MATCH, SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!!!

Crowd: ONE FALL!!!

Bella Braxton: Already in the ring… From Melbourne, Australia… Weighing in at 215 pounds… HE IS THE EAW WORLD CHAMPION, MMYYYYYYYLLLEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!

James Peters: We have a great match coming up, but one thing we need to consider before we get into that is the fact that Daryl Kinkade is present. He could very well end up interfering tonight.

Rich Russillo: He could, but hopefully he doesn’t as this Champion versus Champion match could blow the roof off this place. We have the EAW World Champion out here now, and soon we’ll be seeing the Universal Women’s Champion.

Persephone: I’m definitely looking forward to this. Yay, Voltage.

(‘Somebody Get Me A Doctor’ by Van Halen hits, and the fans give a mixed reaction for the Universal Women’s Champion, Dr. Bethany Blue. Dr. Blue makes her way out to the stage with her Championship around her waist, and she spends a few seconds on the stage staring directly at her opponent. She looks focused on this match knowing how big it is, and before long she begins to make her way down the ramp.)

Bella Braxton: And his opponent… Residing in Boca Raton, Florida… Weighing in at 125 pounds… SHE IS THE UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPION, DOCCTTOOORRR BBEEEEETTTHHHHAAANNNYYYY BBBLLLUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

James Peters: This is definitely going to be interesting. These two have some huge matches coming up at Grand Rampage as the World Champs on Voltage, and right now they’re about to face each other!

Rich Russillo: I look forward to seeing how this one goes, and there’s no doubt that both Sheridan and Daryl have interest in this match, too. After all, beating a World Champion just makes you an even greater threat.

Persephone: Yep. Definitely gonna be good. Can’t wait.

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

James Peters: Here we go, the main event is underway! Myles and Dr. Bethany Blue lock up, and Dr. Bethany Blue is actually able to get the better of Myles in this collar and elbow tie up by switching to a side headlock! Myles is able to put his size advantage to use though, as he lifts Bethany over his head with a back suplex lift! The Universal Women’s Champion was able to flip out of it and land on her feet though, and because of that she’s able to grab Myles from behind AND GO FOR A RIPCORD FOREARM!

Rich Russillo: IT DOESN’T CONNECT!!! MYLES DUCKED UNDER IT AND NOW HE’S THE ONE APPLYING THE RIPCORD SETUP, ONLY HE USES IT TO TRANSITION INTO A KNEE STRIKE- WHICH ALSO DOESN’T CONNECT AS BETHANY FREED HER ARM AND GOT OUT OF THE WAY! Dr. Bethany Blue grabs Myles and manages to take him down with a headlock takedown, BUT MYLES MANAGES TO PULL BETHANY OFF OF HER! Both Elitists back up to their feet as Myles swings at Bethany, BUT BETHANY DUCKS UNDER IT BEFORE SWINGING AT MYLES WITH A RIGHT HAND THAT’S BLOCKED! Myles now grabbing Bethany by the arm, and there’s a short arm clothesline!

Persephone: Dr. Bethany Blue stumbles into the corner, BUT MYLES DOESN’T GIVE HER A CHANCE TO BREATHE AS HE RUNS IN WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT, CONNECTING WITH IT BEFORE PULLING BETHANY DOWN WITH A SNAPMARE BEFORE RUNNING THE ROPES AND CONNECTING WITH A PENALTY KICK! Myles tries to follow it up with a double foot stomp, but Bethany is able to avoid it and stop that move combination from continuing! Both of them are back up on their feet as Myles charges in, AND BETHANY GETS A BOOT UP TO GET HIM TO STUMBLE BACK!

James Peters: Dr. Bethany Blue has always been a versatile competitor, but I think Myles specializes in those striking moves more than Dr. Bethany Blue does, much like Dr. Bethany Blue has proven to be the more technical wrestler of the two so far. We all know that a match like this is interesting because of that, but I’m honestly wondering what Dr. Bethany Blue’s strategy will be in her MMA Rules match against Sheridan Müller. Back to the match though, as Dr. Bethany Blue managed to run in and connect with an arm drag, sending Myles into the corner as the tables seem to have turned between the two Champions!

Rich Russillo: Dr. Bethany Blue running in- AND MYLES TRIED TO GET A BOOT UP JUST LIKE THE UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPION MOMENTS AGO, BUT BETHANY ANTICIPATED IT AND MANAGED TO CATCH HIS BOOT! Bethany now with a huge elbow strike before tossing Myles out of the corner and quickly heading up to the top rope, BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A MISSILE DROPKICK!!! Myles was sent all the way to the opposite corner of the ring thanks to that, as Dr. Bethany Blue is on fire!

Persephone: Yeah, she’s not showing any signs of slowing down, either! She’s already back to her feet, staring a hole in Myles, AND NOW SHE RUNS IN- BUT THIS TIME MYLES MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! DR. BETHANY BLUE SEEMED TO ANTICIPATE THAT TOO AND GRABBED ONTO THE ROPES TO STOP HERSELF FROM CRASHING INTO THE TURNBUCKLES, BUT MYLES JUST GRABBED HER FROM BEHIND AND PULLED HER OFF OF THE ROPES WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX!! That was a huge move by Myles, once again showing his power advantage as Dr. Bethany Blue was sent nearly onto her own head! So close…

James Peters: Dr. Bethany Blue is on a knee as Myles runs the ropes, AND MYLES LOOKS FOR A RUNNING KNEE LIFT TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD, BUT DR. BETHANY BLUE ISN’T HAVING IT AS SHE PULLS HERSELF OUT OF THE WAY BEFORE QUICKLY DIVING RIGHT AT MYLES’ KNEE, CONNECTING WITH A CHOP BLOCK! That caught Myles off guard and is sure to do even a bit of damage, giving Dr. Bethany Blue the opening needed to regain control of this match! These are two really smart competitors, and I have no doubts that this match is going to be a great demonstration of why these are Voltage’s World Champions!

Rich Russillo: Myles uses the ropes to pull himself back up and Dr. Bethany Blue uses this as an opportunity to capitalize- BUT MYLES CATCHES HER OFF GUARD BY POPPING HER UP INTO A POWERBOMB POSITION! WE’RE STILL EARLY INTO THIS MATCH THOUGH, AND I DON’T THINK HE’LL BE ABLE TO CONNECT WITH THAT POWERBOMB EASILY AS BETHANY IS HOLDING ONTO MYLES’ HEAD WITH ONE OF HER HANDS AND USING THE OTHER TO REPEATEDLY PUNCH AWAY AT HIM, STOPPING MYLES FROM DROPPING HER WITH THE POWERBOMB! This is good thinking by Bethany-

Persephone: BUT MYLES CLEARLY HAD SOMETHING UP HIS SLEEVE AS WELL, AS HE JUST DUMPED BETHANY BEHIND HIM, OVER THE TOP ROPE!! BETHANY WAS STOPPING MYLES FROM DELIVERING A POWERBOMB, SO MYLES WENT THE OTHER WAY AND TOSSED BETHANY OVER HIS HEAD, SENDING HER TUMBLING OVER THE TOP ROPE AND OUT OF THE RING! That was a pretty bad landing, honestly. I don’t think she’d be able to make the ten count after that, so there’s really no point in even counting. Might as well just call the match off now so Bethany could receive some medical attention!

James Peters: You’re really bad at lying. Bethany has shown countless times just how resilient she really is. As good of a move as that was by Myles, it’s not going to keep Bethany down. I don’t need to say that either, we’re seeing that right now as Dr. Bethany Blue is already on all fours pushing herself back up! I have to admit though, it probably isn’t a great idea for her to he getting up right now. Myles seems to have something else planned, and she doesn’t even realize it as she’s still pushing herself back up to her feet!

Rich Russillo: MYLES RUNS THE ROPES AS FAST AS HE CAN, AND AS SOON AS DR. BETHANY BLUE MAKES IT BACK TO HER FEET, SHE’S TAKEN RIGHT BACK DOWN THANKS TO A TOPE CON HILO FROM THE EAW WORLD CHAMPION!!! Dr. Bethany Blue isn’t the only Elitist in this match that can do high flying moves, and that tope con hilo right there is a move Myles has used to drop countless opponents! Daryl Kinkade is watching that match closely here at ringside, and you just have to wonder what he’s thinking as he watches this match.

Persephone: Well, I don’t think any thoughts on this match matter until there’s a winner or a loser. That’s what’s really gonna decide how much of a threat Myles is. Myles sends Dr. Bethany Blue back into the ring before rolling in behind her, and she slowly stumbles back to her feet as Myles quickly gets back up and scoops her up! Myles has Dr. Bethany Blue on his shoulder, and for what it’s worth, we could be seeing the winner of this match very soon! MYLES RUNS INTO THE CORNER OF THE RING, AND HE GOES TO THROW DR. BETHANY BLUE INTO THE TURNBUCKLES WITH A LAWN DART!!

James Peters: NO! DR. BETHANY BLUE PULLED HERSELF OFF OF MYLES’ SHOULDERS AS MYLES IS THE ONLY ONE SENT INTO THE TURNBUCKLES! MYLES QUICKLY TURNS TO THE UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPION- AND THANKS TO THIS HE’S MET WITH DOUBLE KNEES!!! DR. BETHANY BLUE SENDS MYLES OUT OF THE CORNER BEFORE CLIMBING UP ONTO THE MIDDLE ROPE, AND SHE JUMPS ONTO MYLES WITH A DIVING KNEE DROP TO THE CHEST!! FANTASTIC MOVE BY DR. BETHANY BLUE, WHO GOES FOR THE FIRST AND POSSIBLY THE LAST COVER OF THIS MATCH!!

ONE!
TWO!!
T-

Rich Russillo: NO, MYLES MANAGES TO GET THE SHOULDER UP BEFORE THREE!!!! It says a lot when the very first pinfall of the match gets a two count, but it just goes to show how great Myles and Dr. Bethany Blue are to have already pushed each other that far! Dr. Bethany Blue quickly backpedals into the corner furthest from Myles as she waits for him to get back up, and judging by that look on her face, she clearly is prepared to put this match away! Myles is able to make it to all fours as he slowly gets to just one foot, AND THIS SEEMS TO BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR HER AS SHE RUNS IN! CONCUSSION PROTOCOL-

Persephone: NOPE! MYLES SCOOPED DR. BETHANY BLUE UP AND PLANTED HER WITH A POWERBOMB BEFORE SHE COULD EVEN RETALIATE, BUT IT DOESN’T LOOK LIKE MYLES IS FINISHED THERE! MYLES DEADLIFTS DR. BETHANY BLUE BACK UP AS HE SOMEHOW STILL HAS HER IN A POWERBOMB POSITION, AND NOW MYLES DELIVERS A SPINNING SITOUT POWERBOMB!!!! HUGE MOVE BY THE EAW WORLD CHAMPION, AND HE HOLDS DR. BETHANY BLUE IN POSITION FOR THE COVER!! THE MATCH IS OVER!!!! THE MATCH IS OVER!!!

ONE!
TWO!!
T-

James Peters: NO IT ISN’T, IT ISN’T OVER JUST YET!!!! Dr. Bethany Blue kicked out, and now it’s Myles that needs to find a way to bring this match to an end! Myles guaranteed victory before the match during his confrontation with Daryl Kinkade, but it’s not going to be anywhere close to easy when it comes to actually keeping that promise! Myles is certainly going to make sure he keeps the promise regardless as he drags Dr. Bethany Blue up to her knees by her arms, AND DELIVERS A KAMIGOYE KNEE STRIKE!! MYLES IMMEDIATELY PULLING DR. BETHANY BLUE INTO A SUPLEX POSITION AS HE GOES FOR THE BRAINBUSTER-

Rich Russillo: NO! DR. BETHANY BLUE SLIPPED BEHIND MYLES, AND THANKS TO THAT SHE HAS AN OPENING! MYLES QUICKLY TURNS AROUND, AND NOW DR. BETHANY BLUE GOES FOR THE REMEDY- BUT MYLES COUNTERS THIS BY PUSHING DR. BETHANY BLUE INTO THE ROPES!!! DR. BETHANY BLUE BOUNCES OFF OF THE ROPES AND MYLES POPS HER UP LIKELY FOR VICTORIA- BUT DR. BETHANY BLUE MANAGES TO GO OVER MYLES COMPLETELY, LANDING ON HER FEET BEHIND HIM AS HE ONCE AGAIN HAS TO TURN AROUND TO HIS OPPONENT! TJD BY DR. BETHANY BLUE!!

Persephone: NO!! MYLES CAUGHT THE BOOT AND HE SPINS DR. BETHANY BLUE AROUND BEFORE DELIVERING AN ELBOW STRIKE! Dr. Bethany Blue stumbles backwards and Myles scoops her up into a fireman’s carry, but Bethany is able to quickly begin delivering elbows to the side of Myles’ head, forcing him to let go of her as now SHE LANDS A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION! DR. BETHANY BLUE NOW WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT THAT CAUSES MYLES TO BACKPEDAL OFF OF THE ROPES- BUT AS SOON AS MYLES BOUNCES OFF OF THEM HE ATTEMPTS A DISCUS LARIAT, WHICH DR. BETHANY BLUE IS ABLE TO DUCK UNDER BEFORE DROPPING MYLES WITH THE REMEDY!!! IT CONNECTS THIS TIME!!!

James Peters: SHE’S RIGHT, THE REMEDY CONNECTS AND NOW DR. BETHANY BLUE HOOKS THE LEGS!!! IS THAT ALL FOR THE EAW WORLD CHAMPION, OR WILL HE SOMEHOW FIND THE STRENGTH TO KICK OUT!?!?

ONE!
TWO!!
THRE-

James Peters: WOW!! IT LOOKS LIKE MYLES MANAGED TO GET THE SHOULDER UP EVEN AFTER GETTING DROPPED WITH THE REMEDY!!! We knew this wouldn’t be an easy match for either Champion, and we’re really seeing that now as Dr. Bethany Blue will somehow have to dig deeper in order to put Myles away. What a match this has been so far!

Rich Russillo: Dr. Bethany Blue slowly pulls herself back to her feet, and needless to say she’s not a fan of the fact that Myles is somehow still in this match. She knows it’ll take more to keep him down, but she also knows that Myles is prepared for this match and has already countered so many of her major moves! Daryl Kinkade is still watching this match closely and it doesn’t seem like he plans to get involved, and I can see why. A match like this doesn’t deserve to be ruined.

Persephone: I think it’s more because he wants to see how good Myles actually is, but we can go with that. Anyways, Dr. Bethany Blue slowly drags Myles back to a knee- AND SHE PULLS HIS FACE RIGHT INTO HER OWN KNEE, DROPPING MYLES BACK DOWN ONTO HIS BACK AS SHE NOW BEGINS PUNCHING AWAY AT THE EAW WORLD CHAMPION!!! For some reason Dr. Bethany Blue just started beating the- uh… Beating the heck out of Myles, and now Myles is having to start trying to block and defend herself from the strikes!

James Peters: Oh, I don’t think this is for no reason! Don’t forget, even though Sheridan isn’t watching this match here at ringside, she’s probably still keeping a close eye on it! Dr. Bethany Blue needs to mentally and physically prepare herself for her MMA Rules match, and I think this is one hell of a way to do that! DR. BETHANY BLUE NOW MAKES AN ATTEMPT TO LOCK IN “SAY AHHHH”, BUT MYLES IS BARELY ABLE TO GRAB HER HAND BEFORE USING HIS FREE ARM TO DELIVER AN ELBOW, KNOCKING BETHANY OFF OF HIM! Myles slowly rolls to the ropes before using them to slowly start pulling himself back to his feet- BUT BETHANY IS ALREADY RIGHT BACK ON HIM AS SHE DELIVERS A RUNNING FOREARM SMASH!

Rich Russillo: Myles stumbles away from the ropes- BUT BEFORE DR. BLUE COULD FIND A WAY TO CAPITALIZE, MYLES CATCHES HER BY SURPRISE WITH A RIGHT HAND! DR. BETHANY BLUE RESPONDS WITH A RIGHT HAND OF HER OWN- BUT NOW MYLES RETALIATES WITH A CLOTHESLINE!!! Dr. Bethany Blue is able to push herself back to her feet though, AND NOW SHE RUNS IN BEFORE HITTING MYLES WITH A BIG BOOT!! Myles drops down to a knee, BEFORE GETTING BACK UP AND CONNECTING WITH A DISCUS ELBOW STRIKE!!

Persephone: Dr. Bethany Blue is on spaghetti legs, AND NOW MYLES LOOKS TO CAPITALIZE AS HE GOES TO KICK HER IN THE MIDSECTION- BUT BETHANY CATCHES THE LEG! DR. BETHANY BLUE SPINS MYLES AROUND- AND SHE CATCHES HIM OFF GUARD BY DELIVERING A SPINNING BACK FIST! DR. BETHANY BLUE NOW GRABBING MYLES BY THE ARM LOOKING TO SEND HIM INTO THE ROPES- BUT WAIT A SECOND! MYLES JUST COUNTERED IT WITH AN IRISH WHIP OF HIS OWN AS DR. BETHANY BLUE GOES BOUNCING OFF OF THE ROPES!

James Peters: VICTORIA!!!! MYLES HITS DR. BETHANY BLUE WITH VICTORIA, AND THAT JUST KNOCKED THE LIGHTS OUT OF THE UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPION!!! DR. BETHANY BLUE COULDN’T HAVE ANTICIPATED THAT SEEING HOW FAST MYLES MANAGED TO COUNTER THAT IRISH WHIP AND FOLLOW IT UP, AND THANKS TO THAT THIS MATCH MIGHT JUST BE OVER! MYLES DROPS DOWN AND HOOKS THE LEGS FOR THE COVER, TO DEFEAT THE UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPION RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS GRAND RAMPAGE OPPONENT!

ONE!
TWO!!
THRE-

James Peters: NO WAY, DR. BETHANY BLUE JUST GOT THE SHOULDER UP!!! I DON’T KNOW HOW, BUT THIS MATCH STILL IS NOT OVER!

Rich Russillo: That level of resilience is why she’s the Universal Women’s Champion. Sienna Jade went through it, Harper Lee went through it, now at Grand Rampage Sheridan Müller will somehow have to put up with this. Dr. Bethany Blue is just not an Elitist that goes down easily, but the same could be said for Myles, which is exactly why he’s the EAW World Champion. He fought so hard to reclaim that title and now he has it, it won’t be easy taking it away from him. This is an amazing way to close out Voltage, these two are putting on one hell of a match!

Persephone: If you say so! Myles just grabbed Dr. Bethany Blue before sending her into the corner, AND HE DELIVERS REPEATED CLOTHESLINES! DR. BETHANY BLUE CAN’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS AS MYLES USES HIS POWER TO HIS ADVANTAGE ONCE AGAIN, BEFORE SENDING BETHANY INTO THE OPPOSITE CORNER! MYLES CHARGES IN- BUT DR. BETHANY BLUE CATCHES HIM WITH A BOOT TO THE JAW! MYLES STUMBLES BACK TURNING AWAY FROM BETHANY, AND THAT ALLOWS BETHANY TO GRAB THE EAW CHAMPION FROM BEHIND AND DELIVER A RIPCORD FOREARM, WHICH NEARLY TAKES MYLES OFF HIS FEET!

James Peters: MYLES WAS ROCKED BY THAT FOREARM, BUT HE’S ABLE TO FIND A GOOD WAY TO RESPOND TO THAT AS HE SUPERKICKS DR. BETHANY BLUE, CAUSING BETHANY TO DROP TO A KNEE!!! DR. BETHANY BLUE NEARLY COLLAPSED DUE TO THAT SUPERKICK, AND IT JUST GOES TO SHOW THAT THESE TWO ARE PUTTING EVERYTHING THEY HAVE INTO THESE STRIKES! Myles is able to put more power into his strikes and because of that he’s gained the upper hand against Bethany! Myles now running the ropes as Dr. Bethany Blue gets back up, AND NOW MYLES GOES FOR A-

Rich Russillo: WHAT??? WHAT THE HELL?? DR. BETHANY BLUE JUST CAUGHT MYLES, AND NOW SHE SENDS HIM OVER HER HEAD WITH A FALLAWAY SLAM!!!! WE KNOW THAT BETHANY HAS BEEN ABLE TO SHOW SOME IMPRESSIVE FEATS OF STRENGTH IN THE PAST, AND TONIGHT SHE JUST ADDED TO THAT LIST! Dr. Bethany Blue pulling out a fallaway slam, and it looks like Myles isn’t the only one capable of powerhouse moves in this match as Bethany utilizes a move she usually would only use against smaller opponents! Dr. Bethany Blue slowly pulls herself back up now, AND SHE CHARGES AT MYLES, ONCE AGAIN LOOKING FOR CONCUSSION PROTOCOL-

Persephone: AVOIDED BY MYLES! MYLES PULLED HIS HEAD OUT OF THE WAY, AND HE QUICKLY SPINS BEFORE HITTING BETHANY WITH A BACK KICK TO THE MIDSECTION! MYLES NOW SETTING UP FOR DE FACTO- BUT AS MYLES LIFTS HER UP BETHANY IS ABLE TO SLIP OUT OF HIS GRASP AND TRANSITION INTO A SUNSET FLIP PIN- WHICH MYLES IS ABLE TO SLIP OUT OF BEFORE THE REFEREE COULD EVEN START COUNTING! MYLES TRIES TO HIT BETHANY WITH A SLIDING LARIAT, BUT BETHANY WAS ABLE TO PULL HERSELF OUT OF THE WAY JUST IN TIME! BOTH ELITISTS QUICKLY GET BACK UP- AND BETHANY GOES FOR CODE BLUE!!!!

James Peters: WOAH, MYLES WITH A SMART COUNTER! BOTH ELITISTS WERE CHARGING AT EACH OTHER WHEN BETHANY TRIED FOR THE MOVE, SO MYLES QUICKLY STOPPED HIMSELF JUST BEFORE HE COULD RUN RIGHT INTO THE HEART PUNCH! THAT CLEARLY SURPRISED BETHANY, AND THANKS TO THAT HESITATION MYLES IS NOW ABLE TO RUN IN AND KNEE BETHANY IN THE MIDSECTION! Myles now, LOOKING TO LIFT BETHANY UP FOR A POWERBOMB- BUT BETHANY IS ABLE TO IMMEDIATELY SLIP OUT OF IT, NOT EVEN GIVING MYLES THE CHANCE TO ATTEMPT THE POWERBOMB! BETHANY HITS MYLES WITH A FOREARM!

Rich Russillo: BETHANY NOW SWINGING AT MYLES ONCE MORE- BUT MYLES DUCKS UNDER IT BEFORE GRABBING BETHANY FROM BEHIND! MYLES GOES FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX- BUT DR. BETHANY BLUE IS ABLE TO FLIP OUT ONTO HER FEET! BOTH ELITISTS ARE BACK TO THEIR FEET AND CHARGE AT EACH OTHER, BUT THIS TIME IT’S MYLES THAT’S ABLE TO DROP DOWN AND PULL BETHANY TO THE MAT WITH AN ARM DRAG, AND SHE’S NOT ABLE TO MAKE IT BACK TO HER FEET AS QUICKLY AS MYLES DID EARLIER, NOT AFTER THE DAMAGE SHE’S TAKEN! Dr. Bethany Blue slowly makes it back up, but she seems to be right where Myles wants her!

Persephone: DR. BETHANY BLUE IS ON HER FEET AND NOW MYLES RUNS IN TO SEND HER OVER THE TOP ROPE WITH A CLOTHESLINE- BUT DR. BETHANY BLUE DUCKS DOWN AND SENDS MYLES OVER THE TOP ROPE HERSELF! Myles isn’t doing too badly though, as he was able to hold onto the ropes! Because of that he was able to pull himself onto the ring apron instead of just tumbling down onto the ringside floor! Dr. Bethany Blue only just now noticed it, AND NOW SHE SWINGS AT THE EAW CHAMPION-

James Peters: BUT MYLES DUCKS UNDER THE STRIKE BEFORE HITTING BETHANY WITH A FOREARM! THAT ROCKS BETHANY A BIT, BUT SHE RESPONDS WITH ONE OF HER OWN THAT CAUSES MYLES TO BARELY HANG ONTO THE ROPES TO STAY ON THE APRON! MYLES PULLS HIMSELF BACK THOUGH, HITTING BETHANY WITH A HEADBUTT THAT CAUSES HER TO STUMBLE BACKWARDS! That headbutt was so powerful that even Myles is feeling the effects of it, but he quickly shakes it off as he has a match to win! MYLES NOW WITH A SPRINGBOARD CLOTHESLINE-

Rich Russillo: TJD!!!! DR. BETHANY BLUE CAUGHT MYLES WITH THE TJD!!! MYLES BACKPEDALS RIGHT INTO THE ROPES THANKS TO THAT, AND THIS ALLOWS DR. BETHANY BLUE TO CONNECT WITH THE REMEDY!!! THOSE WERE TWO OF DR. BETHANY BLUE’S BIGGEST MOVES, THE FIRST ONE TAKING MYLES RIGHT OUT OF THE SKY, AND IT LOOKS LIKE BETHANY STILL ISN’T DONE YET!!!

James Peters: DR. BETHANY BLUE RUNS THE ROPES AS MYLES IS ONLY ABLE TO PUSH HIMSELF TO ALL FOURS, AND NOW THERE’S THE CONCUSSION PROTOCOL!!!! BETHANY HAS TRIED TO HIT THAT MOVE THROUGHOUT THIS MATCH BUT COULDN’T, AND NOW THERE IT IS!!!! BETHANY BARELY IS ABLE TO TURN MYLES OVER, AND NOW SHE HOOKS THE LEG!

ONE!
TWO!!
THREE!!!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Bella Braxton: Here is your winner… THE UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPION, DOCTTOOORRRR BBEEEETTTHHHAAANNNNYYYY BBBLLLUUUEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

(‘Somebody Get Me A Doctor’ hits, and Dr. Bethany Blue slowly rolls off of Myles before pulling herself back to a knee. She’s handed her Championship by the official, and after a little while of catching her breath and recovering from that match, she gets back to her feet, having her hand raised by the referee. After this she climbs to the middle turnbuckle, and raises her Universal Women’s Championship.)

James Peters: Dr. Bethany Blue gets the job done, and it definitely wasn’t easy by any means! Myles is the EAW World Champion. We know how amazing he is, and once again he showed us that as he went to war with Bethany.

Rich Russillo: Yeah, but in the end Bethany came out of that war on top. Dr. Bethany Blue leaves Voltage with momentum heading into her match against Sheridan Müller, and that momentum was definitely earned after that match.

Persephone: Yes, good match. Loved it. Congratulations to Dr. Bethany Blue!

(Dr. Bethany Blue climbs down from the turnbuckles before exiting the ring. At this point Myles has already woken up, rolling out to ringside. Daryl Kinkade has gotten out of his seat, taking a microphone from the timekeeper’s area. He walks over to Myles before beginning to speak.)

Daryl Kinkade: What happened? I thought you were going to do better than me?

(Myles remains silent for a few seconds, until finally…)

James Peters: WOAH, MYLES JUST PUSHED HIMSELF OFF OF THE APRON BEFORE RAMMING DARYL KINKADE INTO THE BARRICADE!!! IT LOOKS LIKE MYLES WASN’T A FAN OF WHAT DARYL CHOOSING TO MOCK HIM, AND NOW THESE TWO ARE BEGINNING TO TRADE PUNCHES AS THINGS HAVE TURNED INTO AN ALL OUT BRAWL BETWEEN THESE TWO!!!

Rich Russillo: DARYL IS ABLE TO DUCK A STRIKE FROM MYLES AND SEND MYLES BACK FIRST INTO THE RING POST, BUT NOW MYLES LANDS AN ELBOW ONTO DARYL’S NECK! MYLES LANDS A FEW STRIKES BECAUSE OF THAT, BUT DARYL RETALIATES WITH A KNEE TO THE MIDSECTION WHICH HAD TO HAVE HURT AFTER THE DAMAGE MYLES HAS TAKEN ONLY MOMENTS AGO!

Persephone: DARYL KINKADE TRIES TO THROW MYLES INTO THE STEEL STEPS, BUT MYLES STOPS HIMSELF! DARYL RUNS TOWARDS HIM, BUT MYLES LANDS A BACK ELBOW AND SLAMS DARYL FACE FIRST ONTO THE STEPS! MYLES NOW GRABBING DARYL AND TRYING TO SLAM HIS FACE ONTO THE APRON- BUT DARYL STOPS HIS FACE FROM HITTING THE APRON BEFORE ELBOWING MYLES IN THE RIBS!

James Peters: DARYL AND MYLES CONTINUE TO TRADE PUNCHES, AND IT LOOKS LIKE THESE TWO ARE SLOWLY APPROACHING THE RAMP AS DARYL SENDS MYLES STUMBLING BACKWARDS WITH A RIGHT! DARYL QUICKLY RUNS IN- BUT MYLES CATCHES HIM WITH A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION! THESE TWO ARE TRYING TO TEAR EACH OTHER APART JUST BEFORE GRAND RAMPAGE!

Rich Russillo: LUCKILY FOR THEM, IT LOOKS LIKE SECURITY IS HEADING OUT NOW TO TRY AND BREAK THEM UP! IF THEY WERE TO INJURE EACH OTHER IT’D HURT THEIR CHANCES AT GRAND RAMPAGE, THIS MIGHT JUST BE FOR THE BEST!

James Peters: MYLES AND DARYL ARE STILL SWINGING AT EACH OTHER, BARELY EVEN CONNECTING WITH THEIR STRIKES ANYMORE AS THEY’RE BEING PULLED APART, BUT THE SECURITY GUARDS ARE ABLE TO OUTNUMBER THEM AND FINALLY START PULLING THEM AWAY FROM EACH OTHER!

(Myles and Daryl Kinkade continue to struggle, trying to break free from the many security guards and get back to fighting each other. It’s no use however, as there are simply too many. The security guards drag Myles and Daryl back up the ramp, far enough from each other to not let another fight break out, all while the two stare directly at each other. From there, Voltage fades to black.)

(EAW logo buzzes.)
