The Rising Star of the Week for this week is the man who will be facing Adam Lucas for the Hardcore Championship, Amir Yusuf! On Showdown, Amir faced a former 24/7 Contract holder in Jon Kelton with number one contendership to the Hardcore Championship on the line. Despite still being relatively new to EAW, Amir managed to put Kelton away after a fantastic performance and found himself with his first Championship opportunity. This is a big opportunity for him and his upcoming match with Adam Lucas is sure to be amazing, so congratulations to Amir Yusuf!

Showdown
After another week of three great shows, this week’s Show of the Week goes to the blue brand, Showdown! Showdown had a big show this week with a lot of stakes on the line regarding Midsummer Massacre, as two of the biggest matches on the show were contendership matches for both the Answers World Championship and Hardcore Championship. This show did a great job at building towards Midsummer Massacre, and with huge potential matches like Lethal Consequences versus Theron Nikolas coming up, Midsummer Massacre’s going to be amazing!

Drake King vs Ryan Wilson
The Beef of the Week and Match of the Week for this week was the main event of Voltage, Drake King versus Ryan Wilson. This wasn’t their first match but it was definitely their biggest with both of them holding Championship gold, and this week they had a really good back and forth. Nobody tends to agree with what New Eden has to say and Ryan Wilson wasn’t an exception to the rule, but both Ryan’s and Drake’s promos helped build up to a fantastic Voltage main event match where both men proved why they deserve the Championships around their waists. In the end their match could only have one winner but both men did such a great job, and put out some great promos.

Drake King
This week’s Promoer of the Week and Champion of the Week is the EAW Champion, Drake King! On Voltage Drake was in what’d be his third Champion versus Champion match in a row, as he went up against the New Breed Champion, Ryan Wilson. In the end, Drake managed to capture the victory in an incredible Voltage main event match, taking Ryan down with two curb stomps back to back. Now knowing that he’ll be defending his Championship at Bloodsport, this was definitely a great victory to add to his record.
Most Valuable Elitist
TLA
This week’s Most Valuable Elitist is without a doubt TLA! TLA had a big night on Showdown, as he not only faced former PURE Champion Limmy Monaghan in a number one contenders match for the Answers World Championship, but he managed to capture the victory! This means that at Midsummer Massacre TLA will be facing Kassidy Heart for the Answers World Championship, making this his first World Championship match since 2020. TLA has a big match ahead of him thanks to this victory, so congratulations to TLA for now becoming the number one contender to the Answers World Championship!
