(Friday Night Dynasty intro plays. Afterward, a brief recap of last week’s show plays: Jay Jerry Johnson officially calls his shot against Cy Henderson. Kirk Redwood defeats David Gideon Smith. Minerva is interviewed, and she hints at a massive challenge heading into Pain for Pride. Mia Santoro defeats Clayton Golde. Vincent Mondrian and Chris Elite confront each other, with Vincent proclaiming that he will be the new Interwire Champion before he and Chris fight. Kai Rabeaux and BRAE are able to get the win against Cosmo Goldworthy and Corey Hale. Dynasty’s No Way Out participants meet in the ring to iron out their issues. Daniella Atlas and Saori Aizen get the win against Miku Sakai and Holly Arrow, and everyone fights after the match. Joso reaffirms his intentions to face Drake King and wants to be in the World Heavyweight Championship match at Pain for Pride by beating him. In the main event, Drake King defeats Raven Roberts after interference from the British Invasion. The two teams fight with Fire & Ice standing tall. The show ends with Joso getting the jump on Drake as well and standing tall to close out the show.)
(A live shot of the PostFinance Arena in Bern, Switzerland, is shown off to the viewers, and the energy is electric! Heading inside, several camera angles show off the sold-out crowd and the dazzling array of lights! Pyro goes off, and after a few more sweep-throughs, we go to commentary.)
Stew-O: WELCOME TO SUPER DYNASTY, EVERYONE! NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THIS IS THE OFFICIAL GO HOME SHOW BEFORE FIGHTING SPIRIT! THAT MEANS IT’S GOING TO BE BACK-TO-BACK BLOCKBUSTER SHOWS BEFORE WE FOCUS ENTIRELY ON PAIN FOR PRIDE, WHICH IS OVER A MONTH AWAY!
Jake Mercer: Yessir! So much to look forward to! :blessed: We’re on the home stretch, and we’re on our way to end things off with a bang!
Flannery McCoy: It’s exciting for sure, and tonight, some of those pieces are being set in stone tonight.
(Super Dynasty transitions away from the commentary booth and toward the stage as ‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ by White Zombie begins to play, with the Switzerland crowd going berserk as the camera goes over to the stage. The camera goes over to show Minerva as she’s seen making her way out from the backstage area. She has her rose gritted between her teeth as she takes a look around, a serious expression on her face before then beginning to make her way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… MINERVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Well, last week we saw an interview between Michael Belfort and Minerva, and she was asked about her Pain For Pride trajectory and if she has anything in mind. She says that she does have an idea of what she wants to do, and it seems like tonight, as she makes her way down to the ring, that she’s going to reveal exactly what that is.
Flannery McCoy: And it could be a litany of things; she could very well be calling someone out, too. But as far as I’m concerned, it’s something that she knows she can get a huge victory off of at the biggest Marquee Event of the year, and most importantly, could be a great way to end the season. We know that for Minerva’s standards, it better be something great, so let’s see what she has in mind as she makes her way out to the ring.
Jake Mercer: I think she should call out The Woogieman. I would love to see a match between the two greatest Elitists that this company has to offer.
(Minerva makes her way up the steps and onto the apron as she enters through the ropes. She heads over and takes a microphone from the timekeeper’s area as ‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ begins to come to a close. She heads toward the center of the ring as she takes a moment, looking down at the ground and beginning to speak.)
Minerva: These past couple of weeks have allowed me to look back at my season and how it’s gone and evaluate. And I am not happy about it. This season will be the first season in the EAW where I have not been a Champion, and although I fought for that, and there were times where I was close to that, I admit, begrudgingly, that the window has closed. It eats me alive, but at the same time, it doesn’t mean that I’m quitting. It doesn’t mean that I am just going to give up and allow everyone to be “right” about their doubts toward me. Nothing that has happened this season is going to change the fact that I am still Minerva, I am still The Black Rose, and I am not just one of the best females that this company has to offer, that I am one of the best Elitists that this company has to offer, period. I have fought long and hard to earn my spot, to earn my position, and this season is not any different. I am going to make my impact, and most importantly, I am going to make my impact at the biggest show this year, to end the season, at Pain For Pride.
(Minerva turns her head and looks up to the rafters, eyeing the Pain For Pride sign that is hanging as the crowd cheers loudly.)
Minerva: There is no reality, no matter how bad things get, that I miss Pain For Pride. My road was already paved a long time ago, and it was only a matter of making sure that I called my shot, that I took my opportunity. Of course, in another reality, it would be with a Championship in play. But that’s not what’s happening, and the decision that I am making tonight is not a matter of accepting that reality and “salvaging” something out of it, but to take the opportunity while I have it to end the season on the best possible high note. To validate my status as the best in this company and, most importantly, walk into the next season ready to take my game to the next level. I am already a EAW Hall of Famer, NOBODY will stop the legend that is Minerva, and taking everything that I deserve is not something that should be put into question, it’s not something that should be doubted that people who have no idea what it means to be in my shoes, it’s something that has been long owed of me. It’s something that I know that I deserve, and that is going to come by making sure that I get the biggest win possible at Pain For Pride, and I am going to do just that.
(Minerva looks down at the ground as the crowd murmurs in anticipation of the announcement that she is going to make. She takes a moment before raising her microphone and beginning to speak.)
Minerva: Truthfully, you can consider these past couple of weeks me trying to make my decision, trying to gather my thoughts and make something out of this, but this is something that I have known for a very long time what I need to do. To solidify that I am a legend, then I am going to have to beat a legend, and when I challenge who I am going to call out tonight at Pain For Pride, there is going to be no question my intentions, no question what I am going for, and better yet, absolutely no question that I am going to do it. So tonight, this was a means of me answering all, to tell all of you exactly who I am going to call out for Pain For Pride. So consider yourself put on notice…
(Minerva pauses for suspense as the camera pans toward her, the crowd going silent as they wait for what she has to say.)
Minerva: Methuselah.
(The crowd roars, they can’t believe it as Minerva drops her microphone to the ground. ‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ begins to blast through the speakers of the arena as she drops down and rolls under the bottom rope and out of the ring. She begins to make her way up the ramp as it’s the last shot seen before Super Dynasty, then begins to fade to elsewhere.)
(A commercial plays for McDonald’s, featuring Corey Hale trying to do one of those healthy food hacks with the new McCrispy tenders.)
(‘Burn in My Light’ by Mercy Drive begins to blast through the speakers as Kai Rabeaux comes out, oozing confidence. He looks around the sold out crowd tonight, who are booing him, but he doesn’t seem to mind it. He’s focused on winning this match and heading to Pain for Pride 18.)
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS A FATAL-4-WAY MATCH WHICH WILL DETERMINE WHO WILL MOVE ON TO FACE OFF FOR THE INTERWIRE CHAMPIONSHIP AT PAIN FOR PRIDE 18…INTRODUCING FIRST…FROM NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK…WEIGHING IN AT 230 POUNDS… HE IS ‘THE FORERUNNER’…KAI RABEAUX!!!!!!
Stew-O: Kai Rabeaux had a fantastic showing at Grand Rampage! For a newcomer, he did great with placing the attention on him! Then, his bit of momentum would continue on when facing Vincent Mondrian! He defeated the former Interwire Champion! The same man who will be facing off against Chris Elite in our main event! Do you think that gives him a bit of an advantage?
Flannery McCoy: It could be an argument, Stew! He defeated the man who is the current number one contender for the Interwire Championship! It kind of makes you wonder why he isn’t in that match?
Jake Mercer: We all gotta start somewhere, Flannery! I think this is a fantastic opportunity for the upstarter to make a name for himself! Whether it’s running things back with Vincent Mondrian or facing Chris Elite, I do think that this could be an interesting match up regardless!
(‘RUNITUP’ by Tyler, The Creator featuring Tezzo Touchdown replaces ‘Burn in My Light.’ The crowd maintains that energy as Cosmo ‘Mo Money’ Goldworthy comes out from the back, looking all flashy and cocky.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING HIS OPPONENTS…FIRST…FROM THE GOLDEN STATE OF SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA…WEIGHING IN AT 220 POUNDS…COSMO ‘MO MONEY’ GOLDWORTHY!!!!!!
Stew-O: At Grand Rampage, he faced off against Effy McAvoy for the New Breed Championship! While he fell short in claiming the title, I do believe it provided him with the spotlight that he felt like he deserved. It made people notice him.
Flannery McCoy: Cosmo ‘Mo Money’ Goldworthy would love another opportunity at a championship. He’s had to watch Elitists get in front of the line and get championship matches over him. I don’t think he wants this match to be another instance of that happening. Cosmo seems really focused on making sure that he surprises everyone and wins this match.
Jake Mercer: Cosmo Goldworthy has a ton of potential here. You can tell how much he wants these opportunities. You can tell how hungry he is to establish himself in EAW. This could be a wonderful opportunity for him to do that. Pain for Pride is the one place that you want the spotlight on you and it’s something that he’s looking to captalize on.
(‘Betty [Get Money]’ by Yung Gravy replaces ‘RUNITUP’ as the crowd maintains the boos as Clayton Golde comes out from the back. He holds up a couple of hundred dollar bills, showing it off to the camera before making his way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: NEXT…FROM AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION IN ROMANIA…WEIGHING IN AT 210 POUNDS… HE IS ‘THE GOLDEN GOD’…CLAYTON GOLDE!!!!!
Stew-O: This man claims that everything he touches turns to ‘golde’ and that could be argued. He has a couple of hundred dollar bills. Maybe, he thought that his opponents could use it to buy some charisma.
Flannery McCoy: Maybe, he could use it to buy himself a better personality.
Jake Mercer: Now, here’s a man who has faced off for the Interwire Championship earlier this season. He fell short of the prize, but his desire to be Interwire Champion has not faded away. If anything, it’s made him more determined to make sure that his season ends as champion. He thinks that he is the hands-on favorite to win this match, but that could be debated.
(Clayton Golde is already seen inside the ring as he throws a hundred bucks at Cosmo Goldworthy and then, at Kai Rabeaux. Kai gets fired up as Clayton hides behind the referee. Cosmo begins to trash talk as the referee tells each of the men to calm down and get to their respective corners. Then, ‘ULTRA INSTINCT THEME’ by Carameii begins to play through the speaker as the crowd stands up for BRAE.)
Stephie Love: AND LAST…FROM BRAY, COUNTY WICKLOW, IRELAND…WEIGHING IN AT 215 POUNDS…HE IS ‘SON’ …BRAE!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Now, this is the man who I think is more than capable of winning this match. After all, he’s 7-0 as he heads into this match. Can he make it 8-0?
Flannery McCoy: His last loss was in the second round match in the King of Elite tournament. Since then, he’s done a great job at avoiding a loss. But, how long can he keep that going for himself? And to make things interesting, do you know who was the man who gave BRAE his first loss this season? Chris Elite, the Interwire Champion. If Chris retains tonight, we could see BRAE versus Chris Elite at Pain for Pride!
Jake Mercer: Chris Elite would also eliminate BRAE from the Extreme Elimination Chamber back at Road to Redemption. I think this could be a compelling match to see. To see if BRAE has learned from his mistakes in the past. At the same time, it’s not going to be easy whatsoever! The competitors in this match are going to look at everything to stop him from moving onto Pain for Pride!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: These four Elitists haven’t moved a muscle! It’s like one of those ‘Mexican standoffs!’ One of them is looking to make the first move without causing any harm! But, it’s kind of inevitable that one of them is going to find themselves hurt in this situation!
Flannery McCoy: Go after Clayton Golde, please and thank you. :mjlol:
Jake Mercer: It seems like you’re not going to get your wish, Flannery! KAI RABEAUX, COSMO GOLDWORTHY AND CLAYTON GOLDE ALL SEEM TO HAVE THE SIMILAR IDEA AND GO AFTER BRAE! IT’S ALMOST LIKE THEY COULD SENSE THAT BRAE IS A FAVORITE TO WIN THIS MATCH AND ALL WENT AFTER HIM! THE THREE OF THEM ARE STOMPING ON BRAE AT ONCE!
Stew-O: NOW, COSMO GOLDWORTHY IS PICKING UP BRAE AND THROWING HIM TO THE HORIZONTAL SET OF ROPES! BRAE REBOUNDS OFF OF THEM AND STOPS HIM WITH A STIFF FOREARM TO THE FACE! THEN, WE SEE KAI RABEAUX CONNECT WITH A SUPERKICK TO THE SIDE OF THE TEMPLE BEFORE CLOTHESLINE BRAE OVER THE TOP ROPE!
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: The EAW Universe did not like that! BUT, OUT OF NOWHERE, CLAYTON GOLDE CLUBS THE BACK OF KAI’S HEAD! THIS KNOCKS HIM DOWN! BUT, COSMO GOLDWORTHY GOES RIGHT AFTER CLAYTON, BUT CLAYTON CONNECTS WITH A BOOT TO THE GUN! THEN, HE GRABS COSMO IN A FRONT HEADLOCK BEFORE TAKING HIM DOWN WITH A DDT – NO! COSMO MANAGES TO TWIST HIMSELF AROUND! HE MANAGES TO GRAB CLAYTON BY HIS WRIST BEFORE TAKING HIM DOWN WITH A SHORT-ARM CLOTHESLINE! AND THEN, HE CONNECTS WITH ANOTHER SHORT-ARM CLOTHESLINE! AND, ANOTHER ONE! AND, ANOTHER ONE! HE RELEASES THE WRIST AS CLAYTON BEGINS TO GET HIMSELF TO A KNEE POSITION, BUT COSMO MANAGES TO CONNECT WITH A SUPERKICK THAT TAKES CLAYTON BACK! COSMO IS GOING FOR THE FIRST PIN FALL ATTEMPT OF THE MATCH!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTT–
Jake Mercer: Clayton Golde with a kick out! Cosmo Goldworthy picks up Clayton in a front headlock! He drapes Clayton’s arm behind his neck before lifting him up! I think that he’s going for a suplex! But, Clayton drops down! He gets himself out of the clutches of Cosmo before running after him! But, Cosmo uses Clayton’s momentum before connecting with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker!
Stew-O: Kai Rabeaux finds himself back into the fold as he hooks Cosmo Goldworthy by his arms and connects with a half-and-half suplex! Then, he grabs Clayton Golde and battery rams him to the corner! There, he connects with a series of turnbuckle thrusts to the ribs of ‘The Golden God’ before sitting him up on the turnbuckle! Interestingly, it seems like Kai is sitting Clayton with his back turned towards Kai! Now, Kai gets to the top turnbuckle! I’m not sure what Kai has planned but –
Flannery McCoy: KAI RABEAUX CONNECTS WITH AN INVERTED SUPERPLEX FROM THE TOP ROPE! CLAYTON GOLDE IS NOT THE RECEIVING END OF THAT MOVE, BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN THAT KAI ISN’T IN PAIN OF SORTS! KAI GOES FOR A PIN FALL ATTEMPT ON CLAYTON GOLDE!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Jake Mercer: Kick out by Clayton Golde! Clayton’s been on the receiving end of these beatings! Kai Rabeaux sits up Clayton before taking a couple of steps back and nailing a penalty kick to the spine of Clayton! He gets in front of Clayton before nailing a series of shoot kicks to the chest of Clayton! Clayton is trying not to show the amount of pain that he’s in! BUT, THESE ARE SOME STIFF KICKS FROM KAI! THE LAST SHOOT KICK TAKES HIM BACK! KAI TURNS HIMSELF AROUND AS HE EATS A BIG BOOT FROM BRAE! BRAE GRABS KAI BY THE NAPE OF HIS NECK BEFORE THROWING HIM TO THE CORNER! HE MANAGES TO KEEP KAI THERE BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A KNIFE EDGE CHOP TO THE CHEST OF KAI! YIKES!
Stew-O: BRAE CONNECTS WITH ANOTHER KNIFE EDGE CHOP! AND, ANOTHER KNIFE EDGE CHOP! AND, ANOTHER ONE! AND, ANOTHER ONE! AND, ANOTHER ONE! BRAE IS RUTHLESSLY CHOPPING KAI’S CHEST! KAI IS NOT GIVING A CHANCE TO COMPOSE HIMSELF! CLAYTON GOLDE TRIES TO ATTACK BRAE! BUT, BRAE DELIVERS AN ELBOW TO THE FACE OF CLAYTON! THEN, HE CONNECTS WITH A SNAPMARE THAT SENDS CLAYTON OVER THE TOP ROPE! HE LANDS ON THE APRON AS BRAE HOLDS HIM THERE AND CONNECTS WITH A SERIES OF STIFF FISTS TO THE CHEST OF CLAYTON! ‘THE TEN BEATS OF BRAE’ IS BEING UNLEASHED ON CLAYTON!
Crowd: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE! TEN! ELEVEN! TWELVE! THRTEEN!
Flannery McCoy: I think that Clayton Golde wants to cry! He falls down to ringside as BRAE seems to hype himself up! He turns himself around as Cosmo Goldworthy nails ‘Ready to Die’ – his variation of the tornado kick that causes BRAE to fall to a knee! Then, Cosmo connects with a knee to the face of BRAE as that knocks him back to the horizontal set of ropes! He places his foot underneath the chin of BRAE! He delivers his own set of trash talking! But, this match is no disqualification! No count outs! Cosmo could do this for as long as he wants too!
Jake Mercer: Fortunately for BRAE, it isn’t for long! He manages to grab BRAE by his chin and lift him up to his feet! Cosmo Goldworthy grabs BRAE and connects with a uranage as that slams BRAE to the ground! COSMO SEES THAT CLAYTON GOLDE IS TRYING TO GET HIMSELF UP AS COSMO REBOUNDS OFF THE HORIZONTAL SET OF ROPES BEHIND HIM AND CONNECTS WITH A TOPE CON HILO TO CLAYTON ON THE OUTSIDE! THIS TAKES CLAYTON DOWN! COSMO IS HYPING HIMSELF UP AS LOOKS TO GET CLAYTON BACK UP! BUT, LOOK FROM INSIDE THE RING!
Stew-O: IT SEEMS LIKE KAI RABEAUX CLIMBS ON TOP OF THE TURNBUCKLE! HIS BACK TURNED TO THE OUTSIDE AS HE MANAGED TO CONNECT WITH AN ORIHARA MOONSAULT ON COSMO GOLDWORTHY AND CLAYTON GOLDE, WHO WAS TRYING TO GET BACK UP! Kai manages to land on his feet as he manages to get Cosmo and throw him to the barricade! Then, he gets Clayton and slams him spine-first against the edge of the apron!
Flannery McCoy: BRAE SENDS HIMSELF THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE AND CONNECTS WITH A SUICIDE DIVE TO THE OUTSIDE! THIS TAKES COSMO GOLDWORTHY BACK AS HE CRASHES TO THE FRONT OF OUR ANNOUNCE TABLE! He turns his attention to Clayton Golde as he connects with a knife-edge chop to his chest as that causes Clayton to stagger back! Then, he turns to Cosmo Goldworthy at the barricade! HE RUNS AND DELIVERS A RUNNING EUROPEAN UPPERCUT AS HE MANAGES TO KNOCK COSMO OVER THE BARRICADE! COSMO FALLS TO A SEATED POSITION, BUT TRIES TO GET BACK UP QUICKLY! BRAE MANAGES TO GET ON TOP OF THE BARRICADE AND CONNECT WITH A HIGH CROSSBODY AS THAT TAKES COSMO DOWN! COSMO AND BRAE LAND ON THE CONCRETE FLOOR!
Stew-O: Meanwhile, as we turn our focus back to ringside! It seems like Kai Rabeaux is looking to get his hands on Clayton Golde! But, Clayton ducks his head underneath the skirt of the apron!
Flannery McCoy: Is he really trying to hide from Kai Rabeaux? :mjlol:
Jake Mercer: Kai Rabeaux tries to pull Clayton Golde out of the ring! HE DOES SO WITH EASE AS CLAYTON SWINGS A KENDO STICK TO THE RIBS OF KAI! THIS CAUSES KAI TO STUMBLE BACK AS CLAYTON GETS TO HIS FEET! HE TWIRLS THE KENDO STICK AROUND BEFORE SWINGING THE KENDO STICK TO THE RIBS OF KAI AGAIN! THEN, HE SWINGS THE KENDO STICK TO THE SPINE OF ‘THE FORERUNNER!’ THIS TAKES KAI TO HIS KNEES AS CLAYTON CONNECTS WITH A REVERSE POWERBOMB AS KAI’S FACE COLLIDES WITH THE EDGE OF THE APRON! CLAYTON GRABBING THE BACK OF KAI’S HEAD BEFORE SMASHING HIS FACE OVER AND OVER WITH THE APRON! THEN, HE ROLLS KAI BACK INSIDE THE RING! MEANWHILE, LET’S LOOK BACK AT COSMO GOLDWORTHY AND BRAE, WHO HAVE BEEN BRAWLING IN THE SEAS OF EAW FANS!
(The camera pans to BRAE and Cosmo Goldworthy in the audience! We see BRAE and Cosmo on their feet. Cosmo is throwing his punches towards BRAE as he stumbles back towards the stairs.)
Stew-O: BRAE manages to fight back and throws a punch towards Cosmo Goldworthy! This knocks him back to the set of chairs! Happily, the members of the EAW Universe who occupied these chairs have evacuated! We’re trying to avoid lawsuits here, after all! BRAE looks to take Cosmo over to the chairs with a clothesline! BUT, COSMO MANAGES TO COUNTER WITH BODY DROP AS THAT FLIPS BRAE OVER TO THE SET OF THE CHAIRS! Cosmo begins to throw some punches to keep BRAE on those chairs! Then, he grabs one of the chairs and slams it shut! He places the top rim part of the steel chair to the throat of the former New Breed Champion!
Flannery McCoy: Cosmo Goldworthy is taking the air from the lungs of ‘Son’ BRAE as this is all totally legal, ladies and gentlemen! Cosmo jabs the steel chair to the throat of BRAE! BRAE is holding his throat in pain, coughing up a storm and trying to get some air back into his lungs! He grabs BRAE by the nape of his neck before connecting with a couple of punches to the spine of BRAE! Then, Cosmo manages to lift up BRAE and connect with a back suplex onto those groups of steel chairs! BRAE drops down to the concrete floor instantly! Cosmo manages to get another steel chair and shut that one shut! He places the steel chair underneath BRAE’s head! Oh boy, I don’t think that this looks good! :lupe:
Jake Mercer: NOW, WE SEE THAT COSMO GOLDWORTHY IS GETTING ON THE LEDGE OF THE LOWER BALCONY! HE SEES THAT BRAE IS STARTING TO GET HIMSELF INTO A CRAWLING POSITION BEFORE COSMO, FROM THAT DISTANCE AND HEIGHT, MANAGES TO CONNECT WITH A ‘HOLLOW POINT’ – THE DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO THE BACK OF BRAE’S HEAD! THIS MANAGES TO TAKE DOWN! BRAE HAS TO BE DEAD HERE! ONE OF THE REFEREES IS LOOKING TO CHECK ON BRAE! WHILE HE DOES THAT, LET’S FOCUS ON THE ACTION THAT HAS TAKEN PLACE INSIDE THE RING!
(The camera pans to Clayton Golde and Kai Rabeaux. We see that Clayton connects with a standing discus elbow as Kai, who rebounded off the ropes. This causes Kai to stagger back a bit.)
Stew-O: CLAYTON GOLDE MANAGES TO GET KAI RABEAUX IN A POWERBOMB POSITION BEFORE TAKING HIM DOWN WITH A SITOUT POWERBOMB! CLAYTON GOES FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Kai Rabeaux with a kick out! Clayton Golde gets on top of Kai and connects with several punches to the face! Then, he picks up Kai before connecting with a series of kawada knee strikes to the gut of Kai! He gets Kai in a front headlock before lifting him up and connecting with fisherman’s suplex! Then, he connects with a chinlock on Kai, trying to keep him grounded for as long as he possibly can!
Jake Mercer: But, it seems like Kai Rabeaux is trying to get himself back up! Clayton sinches in the chinlock, applying more pressure to the hold! BUT, KAI IS NOT LOOKING TO GIVE INTO THIS WITHOUT SOME SORT OF FIGHT! HE MANAGES TO TAKE CLAYTON TO HIS BACK AS HIS SHOULDERS ARE PINNED TO THE MAT! IS KAI GOING TO SNEAK AWAY WITH A VICTORY HERE?!?!
OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTTTWWWW–
Stew-O: Clayton Golde realized what Kai Rabeaux was looking to do here and managed to stop it before it was too late! He manages to get Kai back into position! He begins to apply a dragon sleeperhold with legscissors! Clayton begins to batter Kai with elbows to the side of his neck! Kai is reaching for the ropes, but Clayton pulls him back even more! I think that Clayton is looking to make Kai pass out here!
Flannery McCoy: But, out of nowhere, Cosmo Goldworthy connects with a kick to the back of Clayton Golde’s skull! This manages to release the dragon sleeperhold from Kai Rabeaux! Cosmo gets Clayton and throws him through the middle rope! It seems like he’s going to take advantage of the damage that Clayton caused on Kai! COSMO GETS KAI INTO POSITION FOR THE ‘MONEY TALKS’ – THE INVERTED DOUBLE UNDERHOOK FACEBUSTER CONNECTS ON KAI AS COSMO GOES FOR THE COVER! IS COSMO HEADED TO FACE EITHER CHRIS ELITE OR VINCENT MONDRIAN AT PAIN FOR PRIDE 18?
OOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: Clayton Golde breaks up the pin fall! He grabs Cosmo Goldworthy and looks to throw him out of the ring! He throws Cosmo over the top rope! BUT, COSMO REBOUNDS BACK INSIDE THE RING! HE CONNECTS WITH A SPRINGBOARD DDT ON CLAYTON! ‘DANCE MACABRE’ IS WHAT COSMO LIKES TO CALL THAT MOVE! COSMO FEELS HIMSELF HYPED UP AS HE LOOKS TO FLIP HIMSELF OVER THE TOP ROPE! HE LANDS ON THE APRON AS HE LOOKS LIKE HE’S MORE THAN READY TO WRAP UP THIS MATCH AND STAMP HIS TICKET TO PAIN FOR PRIDE! HE DOES A FRONT FLIP AS HE LOOKS TO CONNECT WITH THE LARIAT – ‘GOLD RUSH’ ON CLAYTON –
Stew-O: NO! CLAYTON GOLDE MANAGES TO CONNECT WITH A HIP TOSS! THEN, HE CONNECTS WITH ANOTHER HIP TOSS AS HE SENDS COSMO GOLDWORTHY TO THE CORNER! ‘THE 305’ FROM ‘THE GOLDEN GOD’ CONNECTS! BUT, KAI RABEAUX MANAGES TO PUSH CLAYTON TO THE TURNBUCKLE! HE COLLIDES WITH COSMO IN THE PROCESS AS HE CONNECTS WITH AN O’CONNOR ROLL WITH A BRIDGE! IS IT GOING TO BE KAI THAT GETS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE INTERWIRE CHAMPIONSHIP?!?!?!
OOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
TTTTT–
Flannery McCoy: BRAE NAILS KAI RABEAUX WITH A BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE TO THE FACE! THIS CAUSES HIM TO FALL OVER! BUT, LOOK AT THIS! CLAYTON GOLDE MANAGES TO ROLL UP KAI! HE HAS THE TIGHTS! HE IS GOING TO STEAL IT FROM BRAE!
OOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: NO! BRAE DELIVERS A STOMP TO THE SPINE OF CLAYTON GOLDE! HE MANAGES TO GRAB CLAYTON INTO A VERTICAL BASE! HE GETS CLAYTON INTO POSITION FOR ‘RED DEATH’ – THE H-BOMB CONNECTS ON CLAYTON! COSMO GOLDWORTHY LOOKS TO ATTACK BRAE FROM BEHIND! BUT, BRAE MANAGES TO SEE IT COMING AS HE CONNECTS WITH A TILT-A-WHIRL NECKBREAKER! NO! COSMO MANAGES TO GET HIMSELF OUT OF THE WAY! HE MANAGES TO GRAB BRAE BY THE ARM AND UNDERHOOKING BRAE BY THE ARMS AND CONNECTING WITH A TIGER SUPLEX ‘85 – ‘ESTACY OF GOLD!’ THAT IS ENOUGH TO TAKE BRAE DOWN FOR THE TIME BEING!
Stew-O: KAI RABEAUX, OUT OF NOWHERE, MANAGES TO NAIL A ‘CRYSTAL KINGDOM CUTTER’ – HIS VARIATION OF THE SPRINGBOARD CUTTER TAKES COSMO GOLDWORTHY DOWN! NOW, KAI BEGINS TO TAKE HIS ELBOW PAD DOWN! HE IS GOING FOR THAT FRONT FACING HIGH-IMPACT SWING OF THE BACK ELBOW! THE ‘BLADE OF BABYLON’ ONTO COSMO! BUT, COSMO DUCKS THE ELBOW AT THE LAST SECOND! KAI MANAGES TO TRY TO STOP HIMSELF BEFORE STUMBLING FORWARD, BUT HE TURNS AROUND AND COSMO CONNECTS WITH THE ‘COLDEST WINTER’ – HIS SPEAR MANAGES TO CUT KAI IN HALF! IS COSMO GOING TO SECURE HIS TICKET TO PAIN FOR PRIDE –
Flannery McCoy: BUT, BRAE MANAGES TO CONNECT WITH ‘MORRIGAN’ – THE RUNNING KICK TO THE HEAD OF COSMO GOLDWORTHY AS COSMO FALLS BACK! BRAE GOES FOR THE COVER! IS THIS GOING TO BE ALL SHE WROTE HERE?!?!?
OOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
TTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Jake Mercer: THAT IS IT! BRAE IS HEADED TO PAIN FOR PRIDE!
(‘ULTRA INSTINCT THEME’ plays once more as the crowd roars in response to BRAE’s victory. BRAE is more than thrilled to turn that 7-0 to an 8-0 as he gets himself up from the ground and allows for the referee to raise his hand in victory.)
Stephie Love: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN…THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH…BRAE!!!!!!
Stew-O: And, BRAE is heading to Spain for an opportunity to face the winner of Chris Elite versus Vincent Mondrian at Pain for Pride for the Interwire Championship! Last year, he dethroned Michael Machina to become New Breed Champion. Could we see lightning strike twice and he walks away with another championship?
Flannery McCoy: BRAE has a really good shot at doing that, Stew! But, this was anyone’s match to win! I thought that we saw the last of BRAE when Cosmo Goldworthy had connected with the ‘Hollow Point’ into a steel chair in the EAW Universe! I thought BRAE was done! Cosmo Goldworthy, Kai Rabeaux and heck, even Clayton Golde really demonstrated why it could have been their match to win!
(The camera pans to Clayton Golde who is more than fuming on the bottom of the ramp. Then, it goes to Kai Rabeaux, who has his back against the front of the announcer’s desk. He is more than disappointed in himself as he throws his elbow pads across from him. Then, it goes to Cosmo Goldworthy who is slowly regaining consciousness at one of the corners inside the ring. The referee is telling him what happened as Cosmo is more than disappointed about this match not going his way.)
Jake Mercer: All four Elitists did a great job with this opportunity! One could only hope that the General Managers paid attention to this match and have something in store for Kai, Clayton and Cosmo going into Pain for Pride! But, congratulations to BRAE on the win!
(BRAE is celebrating inside the ring, feeling more than pumped up about his win. It fades elsewhere.)
(The scene opened up as we saw a vignette display 3 different rooms. As the scene flashed it would first show the room of Daniella Atlas. Surrounded in moments of her greatest achievements in EAW. A picture of her highly hoisting the Specialists Championship back at Territorial Invasion. A match card of her Marquee Main Event match in the Empress Of Elite finals against Bea Valentine. Finally it would dawn on a picture of her and Saori Aizen. But almost in perfect transition, Saori Aizen was looking at the same picture that reflected her and Daniella’s team. Before it showed some of her best single victories here in EAW. Raising her arm in the sky and celebrating her success.. before finally it panned to the last person. Holly Arrow was present, looking at a picture of POTARA in their greatest moments, being tag team champion, to her making an attempt to succeed after their split. Pictures from House Of Glass, Road To Redemption, before it panned to her victory in the Fatal Fourway at Operation: Doomsday. But then it showed what happened at Grand Rampage. The harrowing defeat, Holly Arrow just shook her head.)
Holly Arrow: I am not going to repeat myself, because it starts to get old over time. I have said it time and time again, and I don’t want it to get wasted in the mind… I need something to truly boost myself as a singles competitor, find my path directly into Pain For Pride.. and salvage whatever I need to fix. I have had to haul ass, and sometimes it has been neither here nor there, but this time it feels much different. I think it may be perfectly suited for me.. to suffice a victory.
(Holly’s words spoke, but as they spoke it immediately panned onto Saori Aizen who now spoke..)
Saori Aizen: I want to talk about how I have been a Dynasty representative since the very beginning. In just a couple of months, it’ll be an official year for me. But.. unfortunately to my own devices, I have not much to show for it other than a victory in Dive and Conquer. It was a nice first step for me, practically a mere perfect one. But things just haven’t panned out for me, I thought that when It came to teaming with Daniella, maybe that was the spark. Maybe I could have tapped into her mindset, maybe I could have seen how the world works from her view, whilst also making her see mine. I could have made her into the very image of what she should be, and we would have thrived.
(Saori shook her head as she reflected on that, before it cut to the third woman, Daniella herself.)
Daniella Atlas: I hope it doesn’t need much offering that I am nobody’s fool. Saori and Holly will learn that first and foremost. I feel like I let myself and many others down, but I had a shot at a vicious amount of history, and failed at that. I need to rectify what happened at King Of Elite. I should have been able to end the historic reign of Milli Banks. But I wasn’t, I wasn’t close to that security. Bea Valentine got luxury, and I cannot stand that. Bea Valentine has practically secured a Pain For Pride main event in her young career, and it adds fuel to my fire. Because I could have very well easily been in that seat, it could have been me. Bea Valentine just beat the woman who upset me for the Specialists Championship, and that just makes it even worse for me. I will fix that mistake, I promise with this victory. I will secure a Pain For Pride main event of my own, I will find redemption in the do-over. I will show everyone that I have not cooled down or lost any steam, I am only beginning to reach the best possible condition of my abilities. I will be taking home the Universal Women’s Championship at Pain For Pride and not one regardless of what brand it is, will be taking that from me. I will be seen as historic more than ever, and respect will reach me far quicker. I have had to climb mountains that I should have never had to climb. But it will all be over once I become Universal Women’s Champion.
(The scene went away from Daniella as it reflected back onto Holly Arrow.)
Holly Arrow: I wanna make it to a level that I have never been able to be at before, I have never even been able to stake a claim and challenge for the Universal Women’s Championship, but it’ll finally be over. The drought will end, and I’ll be able to stand amongst everyone and make the proclamation— I am a singles champion. I promise.
(And then with the words of Holly Arrow and Daniella Atlas done, we would see the screen pan to Saori..)
Saori Aizen: I will not be seen as some egoistical and maniacal woman, I am not a rookie too large for my britches.. I will succeed and everyone who doubted, will come to terms with the understanding of my true potential, when it’s all said and done.
(A smirk appeared across the face of Saori Aizen, before the camera would flash and show a smirk across the face of Daniella Atlas. Before it showed Holly Arrow, all 3 women were competent and believing in their abilities…. that would be the closing shot from there.)
Stew-O: These 3 women looking to use the No Way Out match to their utmost advantage! I think this is going to be a special one..
Flannery McCoy: Every and each individual in this match wants a go at the gold, and a main event at Pain For Pride. It’s going to feature a lot of grit between them..
Jake Mercer: Holly, Daniella and Saori are going to exhibit a lot of grit and determination in order to garner the victory. But there is without a shadow of a doubt, all these women are desperate for some glory!
(A commercial plays for Fighting Spirit, advertising the No Way Out match!)
(Back from commercials…)
Stephie Love: The following is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Daisy’ by Ashnikko begins playing, Mia Santoro makes her way to the ring from the crowd, and despite the boos, she tries to tag fans, oblivious to their hate. Santoro smirks, climbing over the barricade and entering the ring to pose.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Key West, Florida, weighing in at 115 pounds, she is “LA DESPERADA” MIA! SANTORO!
Stew-O: These past couple of weeks, Mia Santoro has really committed to bettering herself and she’s absolutely done a solid job at that. She beat Clayton Golde last week, and this week she looks to secure her spot at Pain For Pride by defeating Hans Grayson.
Jake Mercer: Mia has certainly had a bumpy road here on Dynasty, but a win tonight would render it all worth it. She’s had a lot of doubters, but we know that Mia is committed to being a great Elitist.
Flannery McCoy: How willing she is to show it is what remains in question, because this is one of the worst opponents one could have under these stakes.
(The sound of ‘The Leaving Song Pt. II’ by AFI blares throughout the arena, immediately setting up a loud chorus of cheers from the crowd. Hans Grayson marches out from the back, tagging as many fans as possible on his way to the ring.)
Stephie Love: His opponent, from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, weighing in at 219 pounds… he is “THE FIRE BREATHING DRAGON”, HHHAAANNNNSSSS!!! GGGRRRAAYYYSSSOOOONNNN!!!!
Jake Mercer: It goes without saying that the fans here in Bern are fully on Hans Grayson’s side! Mia Santoro may believe that the fans believe in her—but it’s completely different as the crowd gravitates towards Hans Grayson on a weekly basis!
Stew-O: Losing to Brian Daniels at Grand Rampage may have left a sour taste in Hans’s mouth, but he’s continued to bounce back since then and he’s looking to pick up another big win at Pain For Pride, and what better win than the Cash in the Vault?
Flannery McCoy: Agreed, especially with where Hans is at in his career. He’s been a perennial world championship challenger for quite some time, but in order for him to get there? He has to win tonight, and that may not be a guarantee if his head isn’t in the game!
(DING DING DING!)
Stew-O: Stakes are high for this one and you can see it on the faces of Hans Grayson and Mia Santoro as they make their way to the center of the ring for a tight collar and elbow tie-up! Hans swings behind Mia and grabs her by the waist, lifting her for a rear wrestling takedown! Mia lands onto her fours, and Hans transitions to a front chancery. He tries to wrestle her down to the ground, but Mia begins to rise to her feet. She presses him against the ropes and the referee steps in, trying to enforce a clean break!
Jake Mercer: Mia slowly backs away from Hans, but no! She yanks her down with a tight armdrag! She applies a kneeling armbar, pressing her hand against his elbow. She twists the grip, trying to twist his arm in the process. Hans slowly turns back up to his feet and he punches her in the ribs! He punches her again, and works her backwards against the ropes. A big irish whip from Hans, and he brings Mia down with a shoulder block, but in the process used that worked arm! He shakes his arm out and hits off the ropes, but Mia rolls over and he leaps over her!
Flannery McCoy: Hans comes off the ropes for a leapfrog, but Mia catches him by the legs and drops him onto his back! She takes the legs, trying to flip over into a boston crab—but Hans flips her instead! He kips up to his feet and drops her with a dropkick! He kips up again, waiting for Mia’s rise with a second dropkick! She rolls away, holding her shoulder. Mia staggers to the floor and Hans rises to her feet, running to the ropes. He takes the top rope and flies over with a crossbody–
Stew-O: No! Mia moves out of the way, and Hans lands onto his feet! Mia is right behind him and she runs him forward, smashing him face first off the ring post! Hans staggers back, holding his jaw in agony. Mia takes the waist and tries to lift him up, but Hans is way too heavy! He sends an elbow to the back of the head, and then another one! Mia releases Hans, but all she does is push him forward into the post again! Hans falls over, holding his mouth in pain! Mia drags him up and throws him into the ring!
Jake Mercer: She hops onto the apron and makes her way up to the top rope. Hans holds his mouth, wheezing out in pain. He slowly rises and turns to her. MISSILE DROPKICK FROM SANTORO! DOWN GOES GRAYSON! He holds his head in pain! She rises to her feet and wastes no time, pulling him up. She hooks the head of Hans, and swings backwards into a powerful snap suplex! Hans holds his back, wincing out. Mia rolls over and hooks the legs for the cover.
OOOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWWWWWWWWW—
Flannery McCoy: Kick out from Grayson! Santoro rises to her feet and follows Grayson up to his feet. A heavy forearm from Santoro, and Hans falls into the ropes. Mia meets him with another forearm! Hans covers up, Mia takes his wrist for an irish whip but Hans reverses it! He runs forward with a SHOTGUN DROPKICK! Mia holds her chest, falling back! She rolls away, falling to the bottom rope. Hans rises to his feet and grabs Mia by the hair, but Mia brings him down with a drop toe hold into the middle rope! Hans bounces off, holding at his throat in pain! He hunches over, coughing out.
Stew-O: Santoro slowly rises to her feet and bounces off the ropes, for a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown! Hans holds his back, rolling to his feet. Mia rams Hans into the turnbuckles. Hans holds his back, wincing. Mia tries to lift Hans up on the top rope, but Hans kicks her away! He drops back to his feet and clotheslines Mia down! She rises to her feet and Hans with another clothesline! Mia rolls to her feet, and Hans kicks him in the gut. He takes him by the head and arms, double underhooking the arms for a beautiful butterfly suplex!
Jake Mercer: Hans rises to his feet, smirking. Mia holds the back of her head, groaning. Hans pulls Mia up, nodding his head. He double underhooks the arms again, but Mia spins out this time! She takes the head of Hans and runs up the top rope, spinning around for a Tornado DDT—NO! Hans throws her out to her feet! Mia lands, and Hans is ready for a discus lariat! But Mia captures the arm and ducks under, pulling Hans down with a backslide pinfall! The shoulders are pressed to the canvas and the referee slides to the count!
OOOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWWWWWWWWW—
Stew-O: Once again, Hans kicks out! He backrolls to his feet and Mia rises to her feet! But Hans is up before her and ready, leaping into a massive knee to the jaw! Mia goes down and Hans falls with her, but he’s turned this match into his favor! Hans pumps his fist, looking to the turnbuckles. He slowly crawls to the ropes and rolls to the apron. Hans takes the top rope and slowly pulls himself up. He falls against the turnbuckles, looking down at Mia. Grayson slowly makes his way up to the top rope, looking down at Santoro who is showing no signs of life…
Flannery McCoy: DIVING OFF THE TOP ROPE! GRAYSON WITH THE ‘GRAYSON SPLASH!’ NO! MIA ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY AND HE LANDS, ONLY TO ROLL THROUGH! Hans rises to his feet and Mia is up with him, and she sends Hans into the turnbuckles with a shotgun dropkick! Hans bounces off the turnbuckles, falling forward! Mia superkicks the knee out! And she swings that roundhouse, looking for ‘TWO FOR THE ROAD!’
Jake Mercer; HANS DUCKS HIS HEAD JUST IN TIME! And Mia falls into an electric chair on Hans’s shoulders! Hans powers Santoro around the ring! BUT SANTORO FALLS FORWARD, TRYING TO YANK HIM DOWN INTO A VICTORY ROLL! No! Hans holds on at the very last second, and he tosses her across the ring with a WHEELBARROW GERMAN SUPLEX! Grayson is firing up right now and Santoro is completely out of it! Hans rolls away, shaking out his arm. Mia is still down on the canvas following that german suplex from Hans, and he’s still trying to get his way back up to hsi feet!
Stew-O: Santoro rolls over, groaning. Hans rises up to his feet and grabs a handful of her hair. He places her head down into his thighs and hooks the waist, looking to lift her up for a powerbomb! But Santoro drives a punch to his forehead! Another punch from Santoro! And she sends Hans down with a hurricanrana! Grayson goes flying across the ring and Mia slowly makes her way up to her feet, hitting off the ropes! But Grayson is already rising up and he bypasses Mia quickly!
Flannery McCoy: HANDSPRING FROM GRAYSON! AND HE SPINS INTO AN ENZUIGIRI, FLOORING HER! Beautifully executed from Hans! He rolls over, nodding his head! Hans pumps his fists, and he hits off the ropes while Mia is down on the ground! HANS LEAPS UP TO THE MIDDLE ROPE, FLYING OFF INTO THE ‘FIRESAULT!’ SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT! HANS SQUASHES THE RIBS OF SANTORO AND HOOKS THE LEGS FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Jake Mercer: KICK OUT FROM MIA! Hans rolls off, slapping the mat! That was a close call, but it wasn’t enough to win him the match! Mia rolls over, kicking her legs on the canvas. She coughs out in pain, and Hans slowly rises up with her. He grabs Mia by the waist, slowly pulling her to her feet. Hans grabs her in a hammerlock and swings Mia’s arm around the back of his head! He nods his head profusely… and she’s got absolutely nowhere to go as Hans swings his entire body, full force!
Stew-O: ‘HEAT TWIST!’ THE HAMMERLOCK LARIAT LANDS ACROSS THE SIDE OF MIA’S HEAD! AND SHE’S OUT OF IT! HANS ROLLS OVER FOR THE COVER, BUT HE HIT MIA SO DAMN HARD SHE BOUNCED OFF THE CANVAS AND ROLLED OUT TO THE FLOOR! Hans hit two signature moves, which may have been the combination needed to win him this match, but he allowed Santoro to fall to the floor and it’s gonna cost him! Maybe if he can get out of the ring and pull her back in fast enough, but there’s no telling!
Flannery McCoy: He crawls to the ropes, frantically rolling out to the floor. Mia is still down and Hans hunches over, trying to pull her up. Mia falls over, out of it. Hans tries to pull Mia up again, but Mia falls against him, completely dead weight! He grabs her by the head and slowly brings her to the apron, forcing her in the ring. Mia is in the ring, and Hans rolls in. He drags Mia away from the ropes and looks to the turnbuckles. Once again, Hans is looking up top! He steps out of the ring, making his way to the turnbuckles!
Jake Mercer: Hans points down to Mia, nodding his head! ‘GRAYSON SPLASH!’ SOARING THROUGH THE SKIES FOR THE 450—NO! MIA ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! Hans lands right onto his face! He holds his jaw, crying out in pain! Mia quickly rises to her feet and hooks the arm, spinning around into a la magistral cradle! Hans has his shoulders pressed to the canvas! This could be it!
OOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Stew-O: KICK OUT! HANS RISES TO HIS FEET! BUT MIA IS UP WITH HIM1 He hooks the head of Hans, and he struggles, trying to get free! Mia hooks the leg of Hans, spinning around into the ‘BLACKEST HOUR!’ SWINGING FISHERMAN’S NECKBREAKER! HANS’S NECK GOT SLAMMED ONTO THE CANVAS! THAT WAS VICIOUS! Mia crawls over and she pins Hans, and the referee is there to make the cover!
OOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE—
Flannery McCoy: KICK OUT FROM HANS! MIA WAS SO CLOSE BUT SHE COULDN’T GET IT! She falls back, running her hands through her hair! Mia screams out, beyond infuriated! She slaps the mat and rises to her feet, looking at the referee! She grabs him by the shirt, yelling at him! She’s losing her mind right now, but she should be focused on taking Hans out and pinning him! Hans isn’t moving at all! Mia pushes past the ref and goes to pick him up, but Hans is making it very hard for her right now!
Jake Mercer: She shakes her head and drops Hans. Mia takes Hans by the arms and slowly drags her to the drop zone. Hans is out of it and Mia steps out to the apron. He walks to the turnbuckles and begins to climb up. He looks down at Hans, looking down. She nods, leaping off for ‘CHASE THE FEELING!’ NO! Hans rolls out to the apron! He lies against the bottom rope, wincing. Mia turns to Hans who is struggling to get up! She perches herself up and begins to jump off the top rope–
Stew-O: Hans runs forward and cracks Mia with a punch to the side of the head! Another punch from Hans, and Mia is caught off guard by that! Hans punches her again! She takes Mia by the hair and headbutts her! Hans begins to climb up the middle rope from outside the ring, but Mia elbows Hans! She elbows Hans again! He nearly falls off, but he throws a punch back at Mia! Mia elbows Hans, and he falls to the apron! He falls to a kneeling position! Mia tries to reposition herself again, but Hans pops up to his feet and leaps into an enzuigiri!
Flannery McCoy: RIGHT ON THE BACK OF HER HEAD! AND MIA FLIES OFF THE TOP ROPE AND FALLS TO THE CANVAS! Hans lands onto his feet, and now he begins to climb back up top! Santoro is laid out, and Hans is finally gonna get it! He’s been looking for this all match… ‘GRAYSON SPLASH!’ THE 450 CONNECTS! AND RIGHT ON THE RIBS OF SANTORO! She rolls over, holding at her body in agony! Hans finally did enough to incapacitate Mia, and he doesn’t rush to the cover! He rolls her to her feet, slowly pulling her up…
Jake Mercer: Hans takes Mia by the arms, hooking her against him! He slowly brings her to the center of the ring and twists around, nodding his head. ‘IMPERIAL FLAME!’ FACE FIRST INTO THE CANVAS! MIA JUST GOT DROPPED ON THE TOP OF HER HEAD! GOODNESS! Hans rolls her over and hooks the legs, pressing her shoulders against the canvas!
OOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner of this match, and advancing to the Cash in the Vault match… HHHAANNNSSSS!! GGRRRAAYYYSOOOONNNN!!!
(Hans releases the pinfall, nodding his head. He rises to his feet and the referee assists him, taking his arm and raising it up high. Hans backs away from the referee and makes his way up the middle rope. He slaps his chest and looks around, nodding.)
Stew-O; And there you go! On Dynasty’s end, one of the two entering the Cash in the Vault match will be Hans Grayson! And he’s in very good standing to go all the way and win the match, that’s for sure!
Jake Mercer: Mia put up her best effort, but Hans was absolutely on fire tonight and he was extremely intent on winning the match and marking his ticket for Pain For Pride!
Flannery McCoy: Now, he’s got it! Congratulations to Hans, no doubt about it. That’s the exact kind of Elitist that a lot of people, both participants in this match and world champions should be worried about.
(A commercial plays for Raising Cane, featuring Jake Smith.)
(Dynasty rolls on, and the crowd comes alive as ‘I2I’ by Magnolia Park plays to a thunderous ovation. Fire & Ice—consisting of none other than Rex McAllister and Raven Roberts—walk out onto the stage, both wearing their casual clothes but still maintaining an air of focus and finality. Rex slaps a few hands, Raven remains locked in, eyes sharp.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing at this time… FIRE AND ICE!
Stew-O: In just one more week, Fire & Ice get to challenge for the Unified Tag Team Championships again for the second time this season, and they will be looking to take down the British Invasion, who are getting closer to their goal of not only ending their season undefeated in marquee events but also winning their first-ever Pain for Pride match. However, Raven and Rex stand in their way, and with how their season has turned out, they don’t want to leave empty-handed!
Jake Mercer: It’s a title match to look forward to. Rex and Raven bided their time, wanting to get stronger after losing to the Jaded Hearts, and months later, they decided to call their shot. They feel like they prepared for this moment, and at Fighting Spirit, we’ll see if they can put the pieces together to win tag team gold together once again.
Flannery McCoy: It has been some time, but Raven and Rex are more than capable of winning—and they want for the British Invasion to know that!
(They enter the ring, mics already in hand. The music fades, and the buzz settles into an anticipatory hum as the two stand in the middle of the ring. Rex and Raven look at each other, nodding.)
Rex McAllister: Let’s not waste time here.
(Cheers erupt. Rex nods, calm but firm.)
Rex McAllister: Because when it comes to opportunities like this, to the chance that stands in front of us at Fighting Spirit, we’re not walking in half-prepared. We’re not walking in half-aware. We’ve been here before, and while we didn’t win the first time around, that does not mean we’re going to fail again. Raven and I have spent months since we challenged for the tag titles this season to reevaluate everything. We looked back at the mistakes in our mentalities, and now, we believe we have made the necessary adjustments to prepare us for this major fight ahead of us. If we hadn’t, then we wouldn’t have challenged Halsey Neel and Pandora Paisley to a match for next weekend. And if we didn’t believe in ourselves and one another that we can be champions again… well, we wouldn’t be here at all.
(He glances at Raven, who gives a slow nod. He continues.)
Rex McAllister: But speaking of those two women, the British Invasion tried to fight fire with fire. They tried to meet us head-on with the same pride and power they’ve allowed to swell their heads and thought that things were going to be in their favor… but they weren’t. Sure enough, they got too big for their britches, and we knocked them down a peg or two—even when they thought they were going to do the same thing to us last week.
Rex McAllister: Now, my wife has her own opinions on those two. I don’t see them as anything more than maybe two brats who are still talented enough in their own right to be major fixtures here. I mean, they are good. They wouldn’t have beaten a legendary duo of Kassidy Heart and Sienna Jade if that wasn’t the case. However, it’s their attitude that rubs people the wrong way, and they sure aren’t going to be invited to any parties and gatherings the talent here may host anytime soon.
(Both of them shake their heads and snicker.)
Rex McAllister: Either way, Pandora and Halsey will likely never change in that regard… but hey, don’t need me to say that. I think I’ll let someone who knows them better than anyone else here in EAW tell it like it is.
(The crowd pops. Rex passes the mic over to Raven, who steps up immediately. Her tone sharpens as she speaks.)
Raven Roberts: Pandora. Halsey. I still remember standing across from you both for the very first time. I saw two scared girls pretending they knew what they were doing. That was back on Showdown, and you thought you could sink your teeth into me and make a name at our expense, but you didn’t. You couldn’t.
Raven Roberts: And now here we are. You’re still trying to play the same game. The mean girl routine. The intimidation politics. The subtle shots and smug smirks. But guess what? It’s still not gonna work. Rex and I aren’t here to get punked out by either of you, least of all me. No offense to all of the other teams that stepped up against you, but we aren’t like any of them, either. We spent all these months sharpening our blades, and we’re coming for you two with everything we’ve got.
(Raven cracks a smirk.)
Raven Roberts: Only this time? This loss is going to sting a little more. I get to take those titles away from you, and we get to move on to the biggest show of the year at your expense. I know you two loathe that idea. However, it’s going to happen. Rex and I aren’t backing down, and we sure as hell aren’t going to be leaving empty-handed. It’s going to be another night of broken promises and ambitions for you both, but hey—you’re well acquainted with that feeling. How about one more night of that for old time’s sake?
(The fans cheer as Rex raises his mic again.)
Rex McAllister: It’s been a long road. One filled with setbacks and questions. But we never ran. We never begged. We kept our heads down, focused on the work.
(Raven picks it back up, now even more assertive.)
Raven Roberts: And that rebuilding has led us here, to Fighting Spirit. You two can act tough all you want now. You can act like the world’s afraid of you, but when it matters most? You’ll crumble just like before.
(The crowd roars in approval. Rex nods along.)
Rex McAllister: We’re not just looking for a win. We’re looking to walk into Pain for Pride with gold on our waists… and walk out of it the same way.
Raven Roberts: Together. Just like we started. Just like we’ve always been.
(They both take a long moment to soak in the crowd’s energy, and Raven finishes it off.)
Raven Roberts: We’ve seen what we can do apart. We’ve achieved history, made our legacies. But now? History’s about to repeat itself. Only this time, it’s on our terms.
(Raven eyes Rex and grins, as if she has something in mind.)
Raven Roberts: Something us two know a whole lot about.
(Rex grins.)
Rex McAllister: We do—and I can’t wait for it to
(The crowd explodes as the two raise their mics in the air before setting them down, locking eyes one more time in solidarity.)
Stew-O: Strong words there by the challengers! Now, it’s only a matter of waiting to see if they can get the job done next week or if the champions prevail yet again!
(From there, Dynasty fades…)
(A commercial plays for Marvel Rivals, featuring KASAI, Michael Machina, and Akari Kyoko.)
(Back to ringside, Stephie Love is in the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Stephie Love: And it is the second Cash in the Vault qualifying match!
(‘Sinister Purpose’ by Creedence Clearwater Revival hits. Kirk Redwood walks out on the stage with gritted teeth. He slaps himself in the face to get blood flowing then punches the ground. As he punches the ground pyro explodes down the ramp. Amanda emerges behind him as he stands up. He takes her hand and marches down the ring with hate in his eyes.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Boston, Massachusetts, he is the ‘Unkillable’, KIIIIIRK REEEEEDWOOD!
(Kirk gets in the ring. ‘Rise and Fall’ by Starset hits. Corey Hale comes out and stands calmly in the center of the ring. The fans cheer, and Corey strides down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent! From Phoenix, Arizona, he is the Celestial Wanderer, COREEEEEEEY HAAAAAAAALE!
(Corey gets in the ring, warming up in his corner. Kirk does the same. Both men step up, and the referee calls for the bell!)
(DING DING DING!)
Stew-O: Here we go! Both men leave their corners at the sound of the bell and lock up! Kirk shows more aggression as he looks to wrangle Corey around the ring! He backs him up into the ropes, pressing Hale against them. The official looks to move in to cause some separation between the two competitors—but hang on! Hale places his foot on the bottom rope and springs off of it, going down! Kirk tumbles through from the arm drag and is now lying on the mat, with Corey taking control immediately as he cinches him in with a side headlock. That was an impressive counter on the young man’s part!
Jake Mercer: It sure was, Stew. That’s what happens when you keep things zen like he does. No need to panic! Still, Kirk isn’t the kind of guy who is going to take things lying down—literally! Redwood wraps his arms around Corey and begins to work himself back up into a vertical base. He comes to a stand… and throws a sharp forearm into the side of Corey Hale! You can see him grimace, but he doesn’t let go. He wrenches the head some more, trying to apply more pressure so that Kirk is thwarted from attacking again… but he delivers another sharp blow, this time to the rib! That seemed to have done the trick! Corey lets go, and that moment of separation allows Kirk to move quickly. Side headlock from Redwood!
Flannery McCoy: He’s wrenching and grinding the head now! Corey brings his hands up to try and see if he can forcefully pry those arms away from him, but he’s realizing it’s no use. He backpedals and picks up speed! Back into the ropes, and he shoves Kirk, getting him to run! He waits for him on the rebound! Arm drag!
Stew-O: Blocked by Kirk! He shakes his head and yanks Corey back up to stand! He throws a wild right his way—but Corey ducks it! Kirk goes for another punch, this time with his left fist, but Corey avoids that one as well! He scoops low and trips him up by the legs, sending him down! Corey pops up and hits the ropes! He runs back in—BASEMENT DROPKICK CONNECTS! Kirk goes down, and Corey scrambles into the cover!
Referee: ONE—
Jake Mercer: Quick attack, but an equally quick kick-out there. No way the match was going to end like that! Still, Corey isn’t stressing, and he gets up, taking Kirk along. He pulls him in and lifts him for a suplex… but Kirk brings a knee down and hits him on the top of his head with it! Corey is forced to let go—AND HE GETS NAILED WITH A STIFF CLOTHESLINE! Oof! That’s gonna have his chest hurting like hell in the morning!
Flannery McCoy: No doubt. Kirk hits hard. Brawling and striking are his strengths, and we’re seeing that on full display as he gets to stomping on Corey Hale! He tries to cover up and defend himself, but those boots continue to slip through and nail him. Kirk isn’t being discriminatory with where he stomps him either! He’s overwhelming him!
Stew-O: The official sees this and steps in, telling Kirk he needs to back off, and he shoots them a dirty glare!
Jake Mercer: We already saw how Hans and Mia were going crazy with one another during their CITV qualifying match, so no surprise that there may be a little more edge to Kirk tonight. This is his chance to finally break out and make a serious play for himself as a singles competitor. If he can get himself a ticket into one of the marquee matches of Pain for Pride, then he has a real shot!
Flannery McCoy: As would Corey, who crawled to the corner and is now looking to recover. Kirk stalks him down and grips the top rope. He stomps him in the chest! And again! And again! This time, he isn’t going crazy, but laying those boots in, almost as if he is purposefully trying to cave that in.
Jake Mercer: And you have to imagine that not only does that hurt like hell, but attacking the chest means it’s going to be harder for Corey to breathe. He’s going to get tuckered out more easily, and that means some of the moves he likes to do won’t be as effective. He can be a bit flashy and agile, and with Kirk knocking the wind out of his sails, he’s not going to be able to bust out the big guns!
Stew-O: Astute observation there—and speaking of Kirk, he raises his boot one more time before CRASHING it against the side of Corey’s head! That was STIFF!
Jake Mercer: Yeah, I don’t think Corey is going to be able to meditate the CTE away. :lupe: !!
Flannery McCoy: Kirk backs up, taking several steps to gain some distance. Corey remains seated in the corner. Redwood eyes him down and then charges in! Here he comes! FACE WASH—
Stew-O: NO! COREY RAISED HIS FOOT AND KICKED KIRK IN THE ABDOMEN, HALTING HIM! Kirk staggers from that, arm immediately shooting up to where he was attacked—but Corey scrambles and rolls through, bringing him down with a school-boy pin! Shoulders are on the mat and the referee counts!
Referee: ONE—
Stew-O: Kickout! Kirk gets to his knees—AND HE EATS A SUPERKICK! COREY HALE CATCHES HIM CLEAN WITH THAT STRIKE! Kirk looks loopy after that, and that gives Corey the perfect chance to grip him by the wrist and lead him up! Kick to the gut! Kick to the chest! He backs up and nails a spinning back elbow! Corey’s getting a combination going so that he can strike big here!
Jake Mercer: And strike big he does as he just ROCKS Kirk with a roundhouse! Corey grabs hold of him and sends him right on down to the mat with a snap suplex! Kirk sits up in pain… but Corey is back up, and he hits the ropes! PENALTY KICK TO THE SPINE! WOW!
Flannery McCoy: There’s definitely some more urgency on display on the part of Corey, but it’s working! Kirk is down, and Corey goes for another cover. He hooks the leg!
Referee: ONEEEEE!
Referee: TW—
Flannery McCoy: Kirk lifts the shoulder, breaking the count!
Stew-O: Another near fall, but Corey Hale is staying laser-focused! You can see that determination in his eyes as he wants this win and to be able to make his Pain for Pride debut in a huge way by competing in the Cash in the Vault match! He pulls Kirk up once again… but Kirk breaks his grip and sends a knee into Corey’s gut! That knocks the wind right out of him!
Jake Mercer: A little bit of give and take going on here, Stew! Corey’s been chaining together offense with speed and precision, but Kirk’s durability and those heavy hands are not to be underestimated! Kirk grabs Corey and whips him toward the ropes, and Corey rebounds—RIGHT INTO A BIG BACK BODY DROP FROM REDWOOD! Corey crashes hard against the canvas! He arches his back, wincing from the impact! And Kirk isn’t slowing down! He drags Corey back up by the arm… SHORT-ARM CLOTHESLINE! He pulls him back up, and a SECOND short-arm clothesline connects! That one had even more force behind it!
Flannery McCoy: And if we know one thing about Kirk, it’s that he’s not going to stop just there! He yanks Corey up again—AND THIS TIME SPINS INTO A URANAGE SLAM! That just about folded Corey Hale in half! Goodness!
Stew-O: A slam of great authority almost knocks the air out of Corey! And with such a huge move delivered, Kirk takes his chances and goes for the lateral press! Will this be enough to send Kirk to Pain for Pride!?
Referee: ONEEEEE!
Referee: TWOOOO—
Flannery McCoy: No! Corey kicks out! Not enough to put him away definitively, but… yeah, you can see him favoring his back and his breathing becoming more ragged. There’s been some punishment he’s had to endure already. He’s been able to persist, but now, things may start to take a turn for the worse if he’s unable to fight back and withstand Kirk’s onslaught!
Jake Mercer: And Kirk senses it too. He crouches low, almost stalking Corey now… Corey clutches at his back as he starts to get to his knees… but Kirk is already coming in! He charges for a sliding lariat—
Stew-O: NO! Corey ducks under and rolls through! Kirk crashes into the mat! Corey pops right back up to his feet and rushes for the ropes! He rebounds—ONLY TO GET MET WITH A FLYING FOREARM COURTESY OF KIRK REDWOOD! JUST LIKE THAT, KIRK TAKES HIM BACK DOWN WITH THAT NASTY BLOW TO THE FACE!
Jake Mercer: No kidding! Yikes! Kirk grabs him by his hair and sets him up! He lifts him into the air, showing a little strength to go with that scrap… and he bounces Corey off of the ropes with a slingshot—WAIT, WHOA! WHAT THE HELL?? BRAINBUSTER! I HAVE NEVER SEEN SOMEONE DO THAT VARIANT BEFORE! WOW!!
Stew-O: KIRK REDWOOD SPIKED HIM DOWN WITH THAT ONE, AND THE FANS GASPED AT THAT SIGHT! THERE WAS NOTHING PRETTY ABOUT THAT!
Flannery McCoy: Oh God! That may be it for Corey, in all honesty! Kirk pins him again!
Referee: ONEEEEEE!

Stew-O: NO! NO! AT THE LAST POSSIBLE SECOND, COREY HALE GETS THE SHOULDER UP, AND THE FANS EXPLODE INTO CHEERS! SOME ARE SHOCKED! EVEN KIRK’S EYES WIDEN SLIGHTLY!! YET IT CAN’T BE DENIED: COREY HALE BROKE UP THE PINFALL COUNT AND IS STILL IN THIS MATCH!
Jake Mercer: Wow! I mean, that’s great! But, jeez, look at the guy! He can barely even roll onto his side after taking that devastating brainbuster! I don’t even know how he still had the wherewithal to lift his arm from the canvas, but as impressive as it is that he did that… I don’t know how he can rally a comeback in this situation!
Flannery McCoy: I guess we’ll have to wait and see, and hopefully, he’s able to do so soon, because Kirk mounts him and bludgeons him with forearms to the face! One strike after the other, he is overwhelming him with those heavy shots! Corey can hardly defend himself against them, and he can’t fight back now with Kirk grabbing his hair and yanking him up! He hoists him onto his shoulders! He eyes the corner and starts running! He TOSSES COREY RIGHT INTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE FOR THE SNAKE EYES! COREY SLUMPS DOWN!
Stew-O: This is a bad spot here for Hale to be in as Kirk backpedals, ready to land another devastating blow! He runs in, and comes in with the boot!
Jake Mercer: … !! TELEGRAPHED WITH A BACK ELBOW FROM COREY! Corey somehow was still able to thwart that attack! Kirk stumbles back, but strikes him with a stiff boot to the spine, and Corey winces! He’s pulled up! Kirk perches him at the top! He hits another forearm and makes his ascent! Forcing Corey up, and the fans all come to a rise as they watch on, wondering just what the hell this madman has in store for him in this position!
Flannery McCoy: From the looks of things… oh, no! Kirk might be going for an avalanche back suplex!
Stew-O: And that is EXACTLY what the aim is! He has Corey up in the air, nowhere to go but down!! THEY FALL BACK!!
Jake Mercer: AND COREY LANDS RIGHT ON TOP OF KIRK AS HE TWISTED HIS BODY INTO THE AIR WITH THE CROSSBODY!! KIRK YELLS OUT IN PAIN FROM THAT, CLUTCHING HIS ABDOMEN! THE FANS GO CRAZY FROM THAT REVERSAL!!
Flannery McCoy: Just like that, Corey Hale avoided disaster! Kirk tries to get back up, but Corey sees him and fights through the pain he is feeling to get to him! He rushes forward—AND HE CATCHES HIM WITH THE RUNNING SINGLE KNEE FACEBREAKER! ‘ZENBREAKER’!!!
Stew-O: KIRK IS OUT! KIRK IS OUT! COREY PUSHES HIM OVER AND HOOKS BOTH LEGS, DOING ALL HE CAN TO KEEP HIM DOWN WITH HIS BODY WEIGHT!

Jake Mercer: NO!! KIRK KICKS OUT RIGHT BEFORE THE THIRD SLAP LANDS! BUT WOW, WHAT A WAY FOR COREY TO GET BACK INTO THIS THING! BOTH MEN ARE DOWN ON THE MAT, EXHAUSTION BEGINNING TO TAKE ITS HOLD ON THEM!
Stew-O: All the punishment and fighting are culminating in this moment! Both men want to compete at Pain for Pride! Both men want to end their season eighteen on a high note! But only one of them can advance, and by the looks of things… it seems like Corey Hale is doing what he can to feed off of the adrenaline and make it to the finish line! He starts to stir… and he rises to a knee…!
Flannery McCoy: Corey’s up first! He grabs Kirk by the arm and whips him into the corner! He follows him in with A RUNNING KNEE TO THE FACE! Kirk slumps down, and Corey climbs the turnbuckles right above him! He perches on the middle rope—DIVING BULLDOG OUT OF THE CORNER!! DRIVES KIRK’S FACE INTO THE MAT! HE HOOKS THE LEG AGAIN!
Referee: ONEEEEE!
Referee: TWOOOOOO—!
Jake Mercer: NO! KIRK STILL HAS LIFE IN HIM! He powers out again! This is getting hot, folks!
Flannery McCoy: And now Corey is visibly wondering what it’s going to take… he backs up into the corner and begins to make the climb… is he thinking about that move?
Stew-O: He just might be! If he hits this, it could end the match!
Jake Mercer: He’s in the perfect position! This is the most opportune time for him to nail it! He’s at the top, as tall as can be! And with nothing but the stars as his limit, Corey takes a deep breath, stilling his mind and body… AND HE TAKES OFF!!
Stew-O: QUANTUM LEAP!!

Flannery McCoy: RIGHT INTO A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT!
Jake Mercer: :damn: !!!
Stew-O: OH, NO!!! COREY HALE GETS ABSOLUTELY KNOCKED OUT FROM THAT!! HIS BODY GOES LIMP, AND KIRK, WHO HAS NOW RECOVERED, SITS HIM UP BEFORE BACKPEDALING—AND RUSHES BACK IN! BANG! KNEE TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD, WHICH HE CALLS THE BLITZKRIEG BOP!! THAT MAY BE IT!!
Flannery McCoy: NO!!
Jake Mercer: ?!!!
Stew-O: !!!
Flannery McCoy: KIRK GRABS COREY AFTER HE NAILS IT! HE LIFTS HIM UP INTO A TOMBSTONE POSITION! HE RUNS FORWARD… AND HE SPIKES HIM DOWN RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING FOR DOWN TO HELL!!
Jake Mercer: Ah man. Corey went straight to Hell with that one.
Stew-O: The piledriver has him down! Corey isn’t moving! Kirk dips down and hooks the leg! And will THIS be enough to send Kirk Redwood to Pain for Pride!?

(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Sinister Purpose’ hits. Kirk sits up and sighs, relieved. Amanda smirks and applauds, just as content with the outcome.)
Stephie Love: Here is YOUR winner, and the final Dynasty Elitist qualifying for Cash in the Vault at Pain for Pride… KIIIIIIIRK REEEEDWOOOOOOOD!!!
Stew-O: Huge victory here for Kirk, and it seems like he’ll be able to redeem himself after all! Corey put up a fight, but the punishment he endured was just too much for him to fight through in the end!
Jake Mercer: Gutting for him, but Kirk–WAIT!
(Kirk grabs Corey and pulls him in, locking in the figure four sharpshooter! Corey yells out, trying to fight out of it, but it’s no use!)
(DINGDINGDINGDINGDING!)
Flannery McCoy: OH, COME ON! WHAT IS THE POINT IN ALL OF THIS??!!
Stew-O: KIRK WRENCHES THE SUBMISSION TIGHT, SHOWING NO MERCY AS HE ADDS SALT TO COREY’S WOUNDS! COREY CLAWS HIS WAY AROUND THE RING, BUT HE’S GETTING WEAKER AND WEAKER…!
Jake Mercer: And… HE PASSES OUT! HE’S OUT! OKAY, KIRK, I DON’T KNOW WHAT KIND OF POINT YOU’RE TRYING TO PROVE, BUT THAT’S IT!!
(Kirk finally relents and stands back up, spitting on Corey who is passed out in pain. Some of the fans boo. Medical personnel rush in and tend to him.)
Flannery McCoy: Well… that was unfortunate. :lupe: Oh, God. I hope Corey isn’t seriously hurt from that.
(Corey is helped out of the ring. However, Kirk, unmoved, goes to Amanda and holds her by the cheek. He grins, and kisses her. The two share the moment together and that’s the last shot before Dynasty fades.)
(A commercial plays for Pain for Pride.)
(‘When Darkness Falls’ by Killswitch Engage can be heard blaring throughout the speakers, with Drake King making his way out from the back & standing at the entrance ramp with a rather lukewarm expression on his face. Drake looks outward with visible intent behind his gaze, the crowd continuing to let their reactions be heard as he would proceed to walk down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Ladies & gentlemen, please welcome… TWO-TIME GRAND RAMPAGE WINNER… HE IS ‘GOD’, DRAAAAAAKE, KINGGGGGG!!!
Stew-O: Drake King does seem to be in the mood for any laughs today, as following the Dynasty from last week where he was able to achieve victory against Raven Roberts after taking advantage of an entirely different scenario not involving him, Joso was able to ensure that Drake could not achieve the last laugh for the show’s end.
Flannery McCoy: Drake King needs no introduction of course, multi-time World Champion with a world of acclaim to his name despite the negativity that has constantly surrounded his stature, and he is now a two-time Grand Rampage Winner as he looks to main eventing Pain for Pride once more. Well, Joso surely threw his own wrench between those plans.
Jake Mercer: Drake King & Joso has definitely been embroiled in this conflict amongst themselves for sometime now, kickstarted once more as Joso is refusing to see himself be left out of the Pain for Pride main event since losing the World Heavyweight Championship to Cy Henderson. Surely, Drake will have a great deal to say about that.
(The music dies down as Drake King stands in his lonesome in the middle of the ring, with a microphone in hand as he looks directly ahead before raising said microphone to speak.)
Drake King: I am sick, and tired, of how much of an annoyance that this pest has become from the day I became a two-time Grand Rampage Winner. To think that someone can act this way, present themselves as a child & come across as an entitled brat despite enjoying the season that they did is absolutely astounding to me. Joso cannot keep himself away from where he doesn’t belong, that’s just the fact of the matter & continues to ring true with how he has acted since losing the World Heavyweight Championship. An embarrassment in every medium imaginable, you were able to parade yourself around Dynasty with heightened bravado as the World Heavyweight Champion—but now you’ve lost the hardware that gave you all of the meaning you’ve ever had, and you immediately become a shell of who you once were not even less than a month ago. Which is surely saying a great deal, considering I am superior to you regardless of who you are. Joso, the World Heavyweight Champion or Joso, the nonsensical crybaby, makes no difference when you are Drake King. None whatsoever.
Drake King: You choose to stick with this rhetoric of how I convey this “selfish veteran”, yet when has it ever been my fault that I can garner these results despite already being an accomplished EAW Hall of Famer? C’mon, let’s think with the most minuscule criticality here. Even when we first faced off in this ring, you were only able to have that win to your name due to a disqualification. You have never been able to definitively defeat me in any capacity within this company, yet you wish to act as if I’m not the best in the world any longer? Well, that much was proven wrong at Grand Rampage, your doubts have been nothing but shouts directed toward the sky with how I have achieved success once more & will continue to do from here. If you really want to be mad at something ‘cause I can maintain myself as a threat in this business for as long as I choose to, then you can simply cry about it Joso. I’ve just about had enough of all of the spoiling, pampering & adoration that is attributed to your name ‘cause everybody under the Sun sees you as the hot young prospect of this business. Even if you…
(Drake sighs as he shakes his own head & begrudgingly speaks)
Drake King: Have proven that you can stick around & stay as a warranted face amongst the bigger picture… If yourself & others can point the finger toward me on being unable to know when to quit, then I can do the exact same. That will never be out of my reach—
(‘2024’ by Playboi Carti can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as the audience immediately roars with adoration & applause. Joso emerges from the back with focus plastered across, as the former World Heavyweight Championship has his sights on Drake King. He enters the ring with a microphone in hand, looking directly toward the Grand Rampage Winner.)
Joso: Nah, you don’t just get to yappin’ your ass off about all of this & call me the damn crybaby, ‘cause you’re out here sounding off like nothing more than a little bitch. YOU accepted my match, all of this that’s about to go down at Fighting Spirit was all accepted ‘cause of YOU, Drake. You took up on MY offer to make this match happen & this will be your own bed to lay in once it’s all said & done. I already made myself pretty clear before, this is my shot to take. I’m intent on making the most out of this opportunity the same way I have been more than capable of doing the same in the past. My reign as World Heavyweight Championship proved that. The work that I did throughout this season proved that. Yet again, defeating you at Pain for Pride will do that.
Drake King: Are you listening to yourself right, Joso?? That’s not what’s about to happen at all, we have all literally seen how things go anytime that we face off. You are never capable of defeating me through your own merits, there is always something in the way no matter how hard you try.
Joso: Wow, pot meets the kettle apparently, ‘cause I know damn well you aren’t about to overlook how you haven’t been able to do the same against you. I know how badly that must feel for you, somebody who wants to call himself the very best but can’t even prove himself to that claim without being able to thwart all of the hype that I’ve lived up to. At least you’ve got the chance to make that happen next weekend though…
(Joso smirks to himself, shaking his own head after stating the last sentence.)
Joso: Yeah, no chance.
(Drake glares toward Joso, exhaling sharply.)
Drake King: Nothing more, than an overly annoying kid stuck in middle school, that refuses to grow up in the face of a future he never had the capacity to withstand. Story of your life, Joso.
Joso: Not how I see it, Drake. But hey—you get what’s coming to you.
(Joso drops the mic & pounces onto Drake King to tackle him downward!)
Stew-O: JOSO JUST TACKLED DRAKE KING ONTO THE CANVAS! He’s sending repeated rights onto Drake as he’s had enough! Drake is trying to shield himself while the former World Heavyweight Champion continues to fire the rounds off while the audience is now louder than ever right now!
Flannery McCoy: BUT DRAKE SHIFTS THE MOMENTUM AROUND, NOW LAYING DOWN RIGHTS OF HIS OWN AS HE’S LOOKING TO MAKE THE MOST OUT OF THIS! Drake is sending the pressure down, all of the rights raining upon Joso as this has become a newfound brawl!
Jake Mercer: But Joso shoves Drake off of himself as Drake is sent rolling out of the ring & onto the ringside floor! Drake is trying to bring himself back up quickly, shaking off the rights that were sent sprawling toward him by Joso as he’s now looking to recover as fast as possible here—
Stew-O: BUT JOSO WITH A DIVE THROUGH THE ROPES & ONTO DRAKE KING!!! Joso remains on the prowl as he’s standing himself back up, and Drake is groggy as ever as he’s trying to crawl himself toward the steps & get back up to his feet, but Joso is dragging him back over & looking to take advantage of Drake while he’s immobile—AS HE’S HOISTING DRAKE KING UPWARD FOR ‘GRATEFUL DEATH’!!!
Flannery McCoy: BUT DRAKE SQUIRMS FREE FROM JOSO’S GRASP—AND HE SHOVES JOSO INTO THE STEEL STEPS SHOULDER FIRST!!!! Joso is clutching onto his shoulder afterward as Drake is able to garner his own control! There are officials looking to rush to the scene as Drake takes notice immediately, his own anger showing itself fully as he looks toward Joso AND HE’S RUSHING FORWARD—
Jake Mercer: ’JUDGMENT DAY’ INTO THE WORSENED SHOULDER!!!!! MY GOD!!! JOSO IS IMMEDIATELY CLUTCHING ONTO HIS SHOULDER AS DRAKE IS NOW BACKING AWAY, A WIDE GRIN ON HIS FACE AS THE OFFICIALS HAVE SEPARATED THE TWO FROM HERE!!!
Stew-O: Now the stakes of Fighting Spirit have truly been amplified, as there is no telling if Joso will be one hundred percent heading into the match…
(Drake King stands tall, grinning to himself as officials remain between the two elitists while Joso is clutching onto his own shoulder, gritting his teeth in visible anger as the scene is soon fading.)
(A commercial plays for Fighting Spirit, where Joso takes on Drake King.)
- SOSA Henderson vs Drake Armstrong
(A commercial plays for Fighting Spirit, with Cy Henderson taking on Jay Jerry Johnson where the EAW World Heavyweight Championship is on the line.)
(The Friday Night Dynasty video feed shifted to a view of the arena, with the squared circle’s canvas covered with a temporary black carpet; in the middle was a table with a contract upon its center, and Jake Mercer waiting in the ring. Suddenly, ‘Mayoi Uta (Song of the Lost Star)’ by MyGO!!!!! began blaring through the speaker, causing a mixed reaction as Jay Jerry Johnson came out from behind the stage curtains with an inscrutable expression upon his dour face. He made his way down the ramp as Jake Mercer began speaking into the microphone.)
Jake Mercer: Please welcome the contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at Fighting Spirit… the Artist, JAY! JERRY! JOOOOOOOOHNSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!
Stew-O: Jay Jerry Johnson managed to have a VERY quick turnaround after losing the Interwire Championship to Chris Elite after a tense confrontation with Drake Armstrong alongside Brian Daniels, which quickly erupted into a brief brawl! While it didn’t last long at the moment, it did end up causing the creation of the tag team match that took place shortly thereafter, where former tag team partners Brian Daniels and Cy Henderson reunited after their heated feud to go up against the team of Drake Armstrong and Jay Jerry Johnson!
Flannery McCoy: Drake Armstrong and Jay Jerry Johnson had teamed up before to achieve victory, so it wasn’t their first time joining forces, but going up against an actual tag team that once held the EAW tag team championships in their past is an entirely different story; what ended up happening in that match was a shock, though, as Jay Jerry Johnson managed to get a pinfall victory over the World Heavyweight Champion himself, earning his team the victory!
Stew-O: The circumstances of that pinfall were dubious at best with Brian accidentally blasting Cyclone and Drake Armstrong holding Jay Jerry Johnson down for the pin, but against a champion that, himself, has had no qualms about stooping low to get the win, it’s hard to say that the win doesn’t matter. Jay Jerry Johnson managed to convert that victory into a title opportunity last week, and now we’re going to have the contract signing to certify the match for Fighting Spirit!
(Jay Jerry Johnson made his way into the ring before silently making his way to the chair on the opposite side of the table and taking a seat, crossing one leg over the other knee while staring intensely at the stage; after a brief pause, ‘Saint Pablo’ by Kanye West began blaring through the speakers to DEAFENING boos as the World Heavyweight Champion, Cy Henderson, sauntered out of the stage curtains with a sardonic smirk on his face.)
Jake Mercer: And please welcome THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION HIMSELF… THE FORCE OF NATURE, CYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! HEEEEEEEEENDERSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!
Flannery McCoy: I can practically hear Jake’s excitement through every word; I have a bad feeling that this is going to be less of a contract signing and more of Jake living out his childhood dream of meeting Cyclone. Although, given Cy Henderson’s attitude adjustment last year that led to this title victory, I’m not sure Jake is going to get exactly what he’s looking for.
Stew-O: Cy made it perfectly clear that he has turned his back on the fans, and if you listen to some of his promotional videos, it sounds almost as though he’s doing this in SPITE of the affection they used to have, as well as in spite of the hatred they now have for what he has become. Whatever the reactions to his reign may be, what cannot be denied is that Cy’s nickname is more than just a moniker; he has proven himself to be a force of nature, taking out Joso to win the World Heavyweight Championship when even Minerva wasn’t able to get the job done!
Flannery McCoy: And now, he’s going to stare off with the first title defense he’s going to have… and perhaps the LAST one, if Jay Jerry Johnson has anything to say about it!
(Cy made it into the ring, walking past Jake Mercer’s attempted handshake and sat down on the seat facing Jay Jerry Johnson. The two of them glared intensely at each other as Jake looked back and forth between them before taking a seat at the head of the table.)
Jake Mercer: First of all, I’d just like to say… it’s SUCH an honor and a pleasure – MY PLEASURE – to have you hear, my World Heavyweight Champion! It doesn’t matter if the rest of the crowd turned their backs on you, because I never would! If Cyclone has a thousand fans, then I am one of them! If Cyclone has one fan, then that fan is me! If Cyclone has no fans, then I am dead!
Cy Henderson: …
Jake Mercer: Me PERSONALLY, I think that nobody is going to stop you! Jamie O’Hara who? I see the new longest world championship reign in Elite Answers Wrestling history coming right here and now when you reach your newest peak!
Cy Henderson: Are you done yet?
Jake Mercer: …yes sir, sorry sir.
Cy Henderson: Well, needless for you to say, this World Heavyweight Championship reign has been a LONG time coming. Ever since my return in 2023, I have done nothing but toil to get myself to the level that I needed to be at in order to hold this gold over my shoulder. And I made it happened… me, alone. It started grating on me, the way the EAW Universe felt like they had a sense of ‘ownership’ over me just because they bought their Cyclone t-shirts as kids and framed the one autograph they had from me on their walls over their fireplaces. This has always been for me, and the fact of the matter is that I achieved what people started believing I couldn’t achieve… and I did it without them standing by my side.
Cy Henderson: It’s funny, though, because while this reign could be considered ‘redemption’ for how things left off for my career prior to my hiatus, I nevertheless fell back into old habits. The ever-controversial Cyclone has returned in full form, still the most hated man in the locker room. I can still hear their whispers when they think I’m not listening, gossiping about how I’m taking up time from the new era of professional wrestling, gossiping about how I’m too old to hang with them. Why do they shut their mouths when they see me come by? It’s because they know that they’re just talking nonsense. If I couldn’t hang, I wouldn’t have beaten the literal personification of the new era to get the biggest title in this industry.
Cy Henderson: I don’t care if I’m the bane of people’s eyes, though; if I was always meant to be the bad guy in the view of others, then that’s just how things are meant to be. I can’t do anything about it – no, I WON’T do anything about it, because fan perception and colleague perception of me never needed to matter in the first place. Their boos won’t change the way that my legacy is perceived a decade from now, nor will it change the numerous times my name gets carved into the stone of history. There’s no need to try to be the hero of the masses.
Jay Jerry Johnson: In that regard, I can meet you halfway, Cy Henderson; I haven’t exactly been the same bright-eyed wrestler that I was when I first joined this industry all those many years ago… but being that same person isn’t what my career needed at this point in time. You talked so much against my attitude prior to our tag match, but that attitude is exactly what I needed to adopt in order to win the Interwire Championship so soon after my return to the ring. The only thing I can care about is myself and my goals – the ‘industry’ doesn’t matter, just what I came to do within it.
Jay Jerry Johnson: One of those goals, of course, is the title that was slung over your shoulder at Grand Rampage. And you’re going to give it to me, whether you like it or not.
Cy Henderson: I can’t knock the ambition, Jay, because if that ambition didn’t exist, then you wouldn’t be worth a minute of my time. However, I hope you know that ambition and a single-minded focus on your goals isn’t going to make those goals come true. You can pose all you want about how aloof you are and how edgy you are, but no matter what attitude you take, everybody looks the same when they’re laid out in the middle of that ring with drool and blood mixing in their mouths. You just aren’t ready to take on a force of nature.
Jay Jerry Johnson: You make it sound like I haven’t been working towards this goal my entire life; you make it sound like I’ve never held a championship before, or that I haven’t even held a world championship outside of this company. There’s no need for you to act like there’s no real threats to your reign; after all the struggles you had to get the title in the first place, all it takes is one bad match for you to be placed right back to where you started off in this return. You aren’t as special as you think you are; you should just admit that you like the idea of being champion, admit to yourself that you’re still just as obsessed with gold and obsessed with your past as any other legend in this industry, no matter how much you want to portray that you’ve left the past behind. You even named your Brand Warfare team after your history in this company.
Cy Henderson: You don’t understand me at all, Jay, that much is clear. If I wanted to hear someone blather off the most idiotic nonsense, I would just tune back to the videos you already recorded against me. There is no desperation or insecurity here… not anymore, at least. Not when I have the World Heavyweight Championship with me, certifying that I have moved on to a new career peak that is going to last as long as I want it to. My path to Pain for Pride’s main event is set and secured, and I am going to make sure that it happens; for that to be the case, that means I need to tear you apart, no matter how much fight you bring to the table at Fighting Spirit. Through hell or high water, I am going to retain this championship, and that means your ambitions die with you.
(Cy signs the contract and shoves it across the table to Jay Jerry Johnson. Jay sees the contract and laughs, causing Cy’s face to scrunch up in confusion.)
Jay Jerry Johnson: It’s funny you talk about how much fight I’m going to bring; do you even understand the position I’m in? I’ve never been as close to a world championship in Elite Answers Wrestling as I am at this very moment, so the truth is… I don’t know what I’m going to bring. I won’t know the full extent to what I’m capable of until I face you in that ring and give you the fight of your life.
(Jay signs the contract as well.)
Cy Henderson: You don’t want to go there; relying on how good you MAY be, how much potential you MAY have, is something I’ve already dealt with. I dealt with it at Grand Rampage against Joso, and I showed his weakness for what it was. Since you’re such a steep step down from him… well, I won’t explain your fate to you. I think you already know how this match is going to turn out. The same way Grand Rampage turned out for y-
Stew-O: OH! JAY JERRY JOHNSON HAS HAD ENOUGH AND LAUNCHES A STRIKE OVER THE TABLE! AND NOW HE’S LAUNCHED HIMSELF OVER THE TABLE, TACKLING CY ONTO THE GROUND AND STARTED A BRAWL! JAKE, GET OUT OF THERE!
Flannery McCoy: CYCLONE IS FIGHTING BACK, THOUGH, NOT LETTING THE AMBUSH KNOCK HIM OUT! HE’S PUSHED JAY AWAY AND MANAGED TO GET UP TO HIS FEET, AND NOW BOTH MEN ARE GOING STRIKE FOR STRIKE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!
Stew-O: CY THRUST KICKS JAY IN THE CHEST, CAUSING HIM TO FALL BACK AGAINST THE TABLE! CY GOES FOR A CYCLONE LARIAT, BUT JAY DUCKS UNDERNEATH AND LAUNCHES A KICK BACK AT CY, KNOCKING HIM SILLY! AND NOW JAY IS LAUNCHING A BARRAGE OF STRIKES AND KICKS AT CY… BEFORE CY GRABS ONE OF THE PUNCHES BEFORE IT COULD LAND AND GIVES JAY A STIFF KICK TO THE MIDSECTION!
Flannery McCoy: CY TUCKS JAY’S HEAD BETWEEN HIS QUADS BEFORE HOISTING HIM UP ONTO HIS SHOULDERS AND TURNING TOWARDS THE TABLE! I THINK CY IS LOOKING TO POWERBOMB HIS CHALLENGER THROUGH THE CONTRACT SIGNING TABLE, AIMING TO MAKE A STATEMENT A WEEK PRIOR TO FIGHTING SPIRIT! HE’S GOING FOR IT–
Stew-O: BUT JAY IS ABLE TO JUMP OVER CY’S HEAD AND GET OUT OF IT! JAY IS BEHIND CY NOW, AND HOISTS HIM UP WITH A BACK SUPLEX LIFT! HE’S LOOKING TO TURN THINGS AROUND ON CY AND SEND HIM THROUGH THE TABLE INSTEAD… BUT NO, CY JUST RAKED THE EYES OF JAY JERRY JOHNSON AND SLIPPED AWAY!
Flannery McCoy: HE GRABS HIS TITLE OFF THE CANVAS AND ROLLS UNDER THE BOTTOM ROPE WHILE JAY BLINKS THE PAIN AWAY FROM HIS EYES! CHAMPION AND CHALLENGER NOW LOCK EYES FROM RINGSIDE TO THE RING… THIS IS THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH FOR FIGHTING SPIRIT! JAY JERRY JOHNSON AND CY HENDERSON, WANTING TO TEAR EACH OTHER APART, BUT DECIDING TO HOLD THINGS OFF FOR THE FINAL SHOWDOWN!
Stew-O: WHO IS GOING TO COME OUT WITH THE TITLE? YOU’LL HAVE TO TUNE IN TO FIGHTING SPIRIT TO FIND OUT!
(The video feed lingers as the champion and the challenger continue their intense staredown before the feed fades to black.)
(A commercial plays for Fighting Spirit, where Fire & Ice take on the British Invasion for the EAW Unified Tag Team Championships.)
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following contest… IS FOR THE EAW INTERWIRE CHAMPIONSHIP, SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Lacrimosa – Epic Version’ by Samuel Kim can be heard across the speakers as Vincent Mondrian makes his way out from the back, not giving the audience a single glance as his eyes are set on the ring. He treads down the ramp, eyeing toward the ring, as he is focused on the match at hand while remaining focused.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! The challenger! Weighing in at 205 pounds… VINCENTTTTTTT MONDRIAN!!!
Stew-O: Vincent has made it no secret that he wants to become the next Interwire Champion, which may seem to be quite the tall task as the champion himself will be looking to put that prospect down. Regardless, tonight is
the night to send the message & right the wrongs from the past.
Jake Mercer: Well, there is a great deal of focus to be had when you consider the two men stepping into the fray, this man is looking to prove himself more and more as a viable elitist. There will be a definitive answer with the result to come from tonight’s main event match.
(‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke can be heard throughout the speakers as the audience responds with immense reactions. Chris Elite emerges from the back with the Interwire Championship around his waist, walking down the ramp looking forward to the defense tonight as he sets his eyes onto the ring ahead.)
Stephie Love: Introducing the champion! From Brooklyn, New York! Weighing in at 210 pounds… THE INTERWIRE CHAMPION, CHRISSSSSSSS ELITE!!!
Stew-O: Chris Elite is vying for his defense tonight that could continue to present him as an elitist to continue looking out for! Super Dynasty provides plenty of opportunity for him to keep on proving all of his worth, which can occur tonight as against an upstart of Vincent’s caliber.
Flannery McCoy: Exactly, this is what Chris Elite needs to come out of with a win as defending the gold is all the more important. Although that will be easier said than done, as he’s got quite the battle against the former Interwire Champion tonight, which will truly be a challenge for both elitists!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And we’re off! Chris Elite defends his Interwire Championship against Vincent Mondrian, who is looking to reclaim the title that he once held as this can serve to be an immense opportunity for him tonight! If Vincent can pull off the victory, he would be walking into the end of this season as one of the rare two-time Interwire Champions, but he has quite the test ahead of him as he’s dealing with an EAW Hall of Famer, a man that has been to hit the apex of this business before & finds himself in the most immense peak of his career in quite some time. This will be a main event worth looking forward to as we look into who truly yearns to deliver on becoming champion!
Flannery McCoy: As both men proceed to pace around the ring, focused on doing absolutely everything that they can to ensure that they bring home this Interwire gold for themselves no matter what must be done. This may prove to be troubling for either of these men tonight as they maneuver around the ring, and Vincent is now looking to move forward & reach for the champion from here—but Chris ducks under & Mondrian turns around INTO A CHOP FROM CHRIS ELITE! And another follows suit! It appears to be that Chris is truly keeping to his word & applying the pressure that he promised, now making sure that Vincent has no way of getting himself out of this pressure as each chop is following up with precision while the referee counts down!
Jake Mercer: Which doesn’t seem to last for all too long—‘cause now VINCENT SHIFTS CHRIS AROUND & DELIVERS A CHOP OF HIS OWN! Vincent is applying his own pressure as he is keeping the Interwire Champion himself backed up into the ropes, forcing him to remain standing back as Mondrian refuses to let up on each chop that continues to connect with true precision! Chris is being held back as Mondrian has not been looking to restrain himself from the start, the referee is counting down on Vincent as disqualifications can always arise from matches of this caliber & truly leave a sour taste in the mouths of the audience. Mondrian is ensuring that every single second is being utilized to the fullest however!
Stew-O: BUT NOW CHRIS BLOCKS A CHOP! AND SENDS A FOREARM SPRAWLING ACROSS THE JAW OF VINCENT! Vincent is staggered briefly from that forearm as he’s now backing up & away from Chris Elite, who decides there is further pressure to apply as he doesn’t shy away from sending ANOTHER FOREARM across the jaw of the challenger as well! Mondrian is trying to keep himself on his own two feet as he’s shaking his head vigorously, as Chris doesn’t relent from allowing a THIRD FOREARM to meet the jaw of Vincent & continue to garner all the more control from this point as well!
Flannery McCoy: As Chris is now keeping a hold of Vincent’s wrist & pulling the challenger back toward himself, looking to take all of the advantage necessary that he can here as he’s now keeping Mondrian in position while he’s still prone to disaster! Chris is looking to nail Vincent down onto the canvas & send him downward with this NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX—BUT VINCENT SQUIRMS FREE & SENDS A FOREARM ACROSS THE TEMPLE OF CHRIS ELITE! Mondrian was able to avoid disaster that moment as Chris has been rattled by the forearm, as Vincent appears to be looking for his control!
Jake Mercer: Chris is clutching onto his own temple as he’s trying to shake it off to the best of his abilities, but Vincent is looking to be as relentless as he said he would be by continuing this onslaught even further—WITH ANOTHER FOREARM ACROSS THE TEMPLE THAT RATTLES CHRIS ELITE FURTHER!! Mondrian is focused on the champion to the fullest while keeping a hold of his head with a hand, not allowing Chris to stumble backward & onto the ropes again as this can benefit him far more due to the referee, not holding back from a THIRD forearm that sends Chris Elite into the corner from there!
Stew-O: Chris is absolutely dazed as both of these elitists have been bringing it to one another ever since the bell sounded off, but Vincent is refusing to hold himself back as he’s now looking to make good on the Interwire Champion being unable to protect himself while leaning against the corner. Mondrian rushes forward toward Chris Elite as he seeks out A LEAPING FOREARM ACROSS THE JAW OF THE CHAMPION HERE—
Flannery McCoy: CHRIS EVADES THE LEAPING FOREARM! Vincent collided with the corner as he’s shaking his own head afterward, seeing that aiming to continue was a big oversight with how mobile Chris was able to become & return back to the fold! Mondrian treads away from the corner & looks to keep himself locked in on Chris Elite—BUT CHRIS SENDS A DISCUS LARIAT SPRAWLING ACROSS VINCENT TO TAKE HIM DOWN!! Vincent is wide eyed as he’s immediately trying to keep himself elevated from the mat, but that lariat took a good portion out of him as he’s struggling to remain standing on his own two feet!
Jake Mercer: This is not turning out all too well for Mondrian so far, Chris just returned fire with an immense discus lariat that has him rocked to his core! Mondrian is retreating to the apron, trying to drag himself upward as he’s looking to recover on his own here with the ropes being utilized to drag himself upward! Chris is not interested in allowing Vincent to make this recovery & be able to retort against him in order to garner control again, as the champion is focused on going on the chase & looking to knock Vincent off of the apron with a RUNNING FOREARM OF HIS OWN—
Stew-O: BUT VINCENT WITH A SUDDEN ENZIGURI WHILE HOLDING ONTO THE ROPES!! Chris Elite is now staggered as he’s leaned over the ropes right now, dazed by the enziguri from Vincent as now the challenger has his own opportunity to take down Chris Elite & become that crucial step closer to holding Interwire gold once again this season! Mondrian is now keeping a hold of the champion, as he’s able to lift Chris & keep him placed over the middle rope, as he’s looking to send the message by SUPLEXING CHRIS FROM THE MAT & ONTO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR!
Flannery McCoy: BUT CHRIS WITH AN EMPHATIC KNEE ACROSS THE SKULL OF VINCENT TO HALT THE SUPLEX! Vincent keeps the hold on Elite as the champion is now placing his feet over the middle rope, but Chris is also maintain this hold he has over Vincent as well to—OH MY GOD!! CHRIS LIFTS VINCENT FROM THE APRON & NAILS A VERTICAL SUPLEX ONTO THE CANVAS!!! A SHOWCASE OF STRENGTH FROM CHRIS ELITE THERE!! Chris is able to bring himself over Vincent, hooking the leg from there to try & win this match!

Jake Mercer: NOT ENOUGH! Vincent Mondrian has more than enough left in the tank as Chris Elite is now shaking his own head, seeing that Vincent refuses to stay down as he’s bringing himself back up & looking to make the most out of what he’s got to do from here! Chris is pulling Vincent upward and into a seated position as he’s focused on applying all of the pressure possible, now sending an emphatic KICK ACROSS THE BACK OF VINCENT! His challenger is wincing in pain as he’s remaining in this seated position while Chris Elite is keeping all of the focus placed on Vincent, looking to run those ropes & back toward Vincent with another KICK—
Stew-O: VINCENT BOLSTERS BACK & AVOIDS THE KICK WHILE CAUSING CHRIS TO FALL ONTO THE MAT—AS HE ROLLS BACKWARD & INTO A SINGLE LEG BOSTON CRAB! Mondrian was able to think very quickly as he’s got a clutch around his leg, wrenching his knee around his arm as he’s applying all of this pressure & preventing him from making any substantial movement to get himself toward the ropes! But Chris Elite is trying to make the crawl, shaking his own head vigorously as he’s refusing to give in to the submission despite everything that he’s being placed through at this very moment! Chris is fighting back!
Flannery McCoy: As Chris continues to crawl, dragging his own body weight alongside the challenger in order to move closer & closer to the ropes as there is great challenge to be seen with this boston crab! This is becoming a much greater struggle for Elite as he’s crawling & crawling, Mondrian is understanding how troublesome this can become if Chris gets his hands onto those ropes & proceeds to start that count for the disqualification from the referee—BUT VINCENT IS NOW PULLING CHRIS OVER TO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING AS HE’S REFUSING TO LET GO! CHRIS IS ABLE TO SHIFT HIS WEIGHT AROUND & DELIVER A BOOT ACROSS HIS JAW!
Jake Mercer: AND ANOTHER BOOT! AND ANOTHER!!! Vincent is forced to let go as he’s shaking his own head vigorously while possibly feeling the frustration build after trying to get himself through with that submission & keep Chris Elite suppressed for much longer! Mondrian is rushing back toward Chris & looking for a swift boot—BUT CHRIS WITH ‘SNOOZE’!!! THE UPPERCUT LANDS FLUSH ACROSS HIS JAW AS HE BACKS AWAY & INTO THE ROPES! Now Chris Elite is recovering with the time that he has, being able to rush himself forward and TAKE HIM BACK DOWN WITH ANOTHER DISCUS—
Stew-O: BUT THE BICYCLE KICK FROM VINCENT LANDS FLUSH ACROSS THE JAW OF CHRIS ELITE!!! IMMENSE FORCE! Chris is clutching onto his jaw quickly as Vincent is now dropping back down to the mat, hooking the legs as Chris is kicking them around but his shoulders are down! The referee soon slides to the count as he’s looking to mark the end to this match!

Flannery McCoy: NOT ENOUGH!! THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES BUT CHRIS KICKS OUT! Vincent shakes his own head as he’s now perching himself upward & beginning to send DOWNWARD ELBOWS OVER THE SHOULDER OF CHRIS ELITE! Each elbow becoming all the more of a pain for Chris to be taking as he’s situated behind the champion, sending each elbow with absolute deliberation as he’s refusing to let him subside all of the strife that has been sent upon him!
Jake Mercer: With all of the pressure that’s being applied by Vincent, he’s able to now secure himself fully by being able to lock in this REAR NAKED CHOKE DIRECTLY AROUND THE THROAT OF CHRIS ELITE!! Vincent is ensuring that there is no escape to this submission as Chris is trying to reach around, refusing to give in to the choke but this will become a painful maneuver to undergo for the proceeding time that they’re given! Chris is reaching around & looking erratically for where the ropes may be, but this is becoming difficult to remain stuck within!
Stew-O: Chris is now trying to drag himself toward the ropes once more, looking for any way out of this that he possibly can despite all of the trouble that he’s going through in this match! This submission is applying that pressure upon him that is very much unrealized at this stage, the choke is causing his face to slowly turn blue as he’s shaking his own head vigorously after going through ample struggle to get himself out of this submission! The further he goes through this the longer that Vincent himself can recover—AS CHRIS SHIFTS HIS WEIGHT BACK & ONTO VINCENT! HIS SHOULDERS ARE DOWN AS THE REFEREE COUNTS AWAY!

Flannery McCoy: VINCENT MONDRIAN PUSHES CHRIS AWAY TO KICK OUT!! Vincent is shaking his own head vigorously as he’s now trying to bring himself back up, refusing to stay down for long as he’s trying to do everything in his power to ensure that he’s got as much of an advantage here as he can, looking to rush back toward Chris Elite with a ROUNDHOUSE KICK FOR GOOD MEASURE—
Jake Mercer: NO! CHRIS DUCKS UNDER AND SENDS AN EMPHATIC ENZIGURI OF HIS OWN ACROSS THE TEMPLE OF VINCENT MONDRIAN!!! Vincent is struggling to keep himself upward as he is absolutely dazed from the foot that was sent across his temple, shaking his head repeatedly as he is trying to keep himself upward but refusing to get himself down any lower than a knee! Chris takes up all of the control that he possibly can as he is now able to rush those ropes and proceed to rush back toward Mondrian as he is able to SEND MONDRIAN THROUGH THE ROPES WITH A SUDDEN HURRICANRANA!
Stew-O: Vincent is left scrambling as he is now trying to recover on the outside of the ring! Mondrian is shaking his head as that hurricanrana has sent him reeling immensely, using the barricade to pull himself upward as this match has provided enough struggle for the challenger while remaining on his pursuit for the Interwire Championship! Chris sees that Vincent is struggling, allowing for Elite to go on the run as he rushes toward the ropes, now rebounding back from the ropes and running ahead AT FULL SPEED THROUGH THE ROPES–
Flannery McCoy: SUICIDE DIVE FROM CHRIS ELITE SENDS VINCENT CRASHING BACK INTO THE BARRICADE WITH FORCE! Mondrian slumps down against the barricade as he cannot bring himself back up to his feet right now! Chris Elite is now rising back up to his feet, glaring down toward Mondrian as he is trying to uphold as much of this control that he has for himself as possible! Chris is now dragging Vincent upward, and he’s able to drag Vincent back over to the apron, as he is looking to close out this match and garner that crucial defense for this title–
Jake Mercer: BUT VINCENT EAGERLY SHOVES CHRIS INTO THE APRON AS HE REFUSES TO REMAIN VULNERABLE! Mondrian is getting himself back up as quickly as possible while having a hand grasping onto his own lower back, while Chris is clutching onto his own midsection after being driven into the apron! Elite is still looking to focus back on Mondrian despite the trouble that he has been placed through within this match–BUT VINCENT WITH A BOOT TO THE MIDSECTION! Vincent is able to keep him suppressed for about as long as he will be able to, dragging Chris into position as he proceeds to lift CHRIS ELITE UPWARD FROM HERE–
Stew-O: X-PLEX ONTO THE APRON FROM VINCENT MONDRIAN!!! Chris is wincing immensely from the pain as he arches his own back upward, feeling the effects of the X-Plex that sent him crashing onto the apron while Mondrian proceeds to push Chris Elite back into the canvas completely! Vincent now rolls himself back into the ring as well, crawling onto the champion and hooking the leg as the referee rushes toward the count!

Flannery McCoy: NO! KICK OUT FROM CHRIS ELITE AS THIS MAIN EVENT CONTINUES!!! Vincent is sitting up as he is feeling the frustration build within himself, the champion is keeping himself in this match as he has all of the energy left in the register to keep himself in this match! Vincent is able to move upward and back to his feet, struggling as he has throughout this match yet able to send all of the pressure back to Chris Elite as he now sees that Chris is crawling to the ropes, pulling himself upward to the corner as he rests against the corner.. FOR VINCENT TO RUSH TOWARD AND LOOK FOR ‘GALICK GUN’!
Jake Mercer: CHRIS ELITE WITH A STIFF KNEE ACROSS THE JAW OF VINCENT BEFORE HE COULD CONNECT! Chris is trying to recollect himself as he’s able to keep himself running strong in this match, doing everything that he can to ensure he can keep the Interwire Champion around his waist for the future to come as Vincent is shaking his own head vigorously, rushing back toward Chris Elite & seeking out a lariat from out of his own reservoir to keep himself mobile–
Stew-O: But Chris ducks the lariat!! Chris rushes past Vincent and toward the ropes, as Vincent turns himself back around just as he’s able to–BE CAUGHT BY THE ‘OPP SPOTTER’ FROM OUT OF NOWHERE!!! Vincent is taken down as Chris Elite just dropped Vincent and bulldozed directly through him! Chris crawls himself over and onto Vincent, hooking the leg as the referee slides himself over to count the pin!

Flannery McCoy: NOT ENOUGH! THE KICK OUT FROM VINCENT KEEPS HIM IN THE MATCH!!! Chris is shaking his own head as it seems the frustration is building within himself as well! Chris is now moving up to his feet, glaring toward Mondrian as he backs himself away from the challenger and is now primed & ready for what’s about to come.. BY RUSHING TOWARD HIM AND LOOKING FOR THE ‘BOX OFFICE SMASH’–
Jake Mercer: VINCENT DUCKS THE ATTEMPT AS CHRIS STAGGERS FORWARD AND INTO THE CORNER, BUT NOT RECOVERING QUICKLY ENOUGH AS HE PULLS HIMSELF UPWARD TRYING TO GET HIMSELF BACK INTO THE MATCH–AS MONDRIAN NAILS THE ‘GALICK GUN’!!! Helluva Kick catches Chris Elite across the jaw as he slumps down onto the mat, Mondrian with the cover!!

Stew-O: NO!! THE CHAMPION IS STILL IN THIS!! Vincent is visibly frustrated as he shakes his own head, bringing himself back up and glaring down upon Chris Elite as he’s now looking to close this match and bring back the Interwire Championship to his name as a two-time champion! Mondrian is dragging Chris Elite into position and aiming for the ‘VAN GOGH ASCENDANCY’ HERE–
Flannery McCoy: BUT CHRIS ELITE IS ABLE TO SQUIRM FREE AND LIFT VINCENT OVER HIS OWN SHOULDER–BEFORE LAUNCHING HIM OFF TO THE TURNBUCKLE WITH ‘44 BULLDOG’!!! MONDRIAN IS STAGGERED!!! HE DROPS TO HIS KNEES AS CHRIS MOVES UPWARD, RUSHING BACK TOWARD HIM–

Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… AND STILL INTERWIRE CHAMPIONNNNN, CHRISSSSSS ELITEEEEEEE!!!
Flannery McCoy: An immense main event match on tonight’s Super Dynasty that ends with Chris Elite being able to garner that victory and retain the Interwire Championship, just more than a week before Fighting Spirit!
Jake Mercer: Vincent Mondrian was able to give everything that he possibly could against the Interwire Champion, but Chris Elite threw all of the pressure back toward him in order to walk away as the champion here.
Stew-O: Vincent fought tirelessly and proves himself further as an effectively capable elitist, but this match ends without a change of the guard. Congratulations to Chris Elite, and thank you all for tuning in to Super Dynasty! See you at Fighting Spirit!
(‘Invincible’ can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as Chris Elite is able to stand up slowly, breathing heavily with an arm around his own abdomen as the referee hands the Interwire Championship to Chris & raises his arm. Chris nods to himself, satisfied with the victory as Vincent sits in the corner, disgruntled with the result of the main event tonight as the scene fades.)
