(EAW intro plays)
(Showdown opens up with a recap of the show last week. Donovan and Charlie have their contract signing, Silas World jumps Charlie but Kelton, Bronson, Veena and Milli come out to help him out and fend Silas World off. Shio Corin defeats SORN. Kyra Phillips interviews Miku Sakai about the No Way Out Match. Grace de Luca defeats Chiyo Gedo. Ryan and TLA bump into Bronson and Kelton, their conversations quickly turning into a heated exchange of words before the four start brawling as well, with security breaking up the brawl. Cody Maverick successfully defends the National Elite Championship against SOSA Henderson. Nikki Kimura sends a message to Bea Valentine. Mikaela Street has an interview between Milli Banks and Veena Adams heading towards their match. And finally, in the main event, Auburn Ware and The Hustler’s Alliance defeat Ronan Malosi, Harper Lee and Brianna Hill.)
(The recap ends, and it is replaced with the song “Brick Wall” by a Day to Remember, as the camera pans around the inside of PostFinance Arena in Bern, Switzerland. Fireworks are shooting out of the stage and the whole crowd can be seen cheering and being excited for the show. The camera ends up panning over to the commentary table with Deadprez, Eve and Gavin Kirkland as the commentators start talking.)
Eve: WELCOME EVERYONE… TO SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN!
Deadprez: WE ARE NOW IN THE HOME-SHOW TO FIGHTING SPIRIT! AND TONIGHT, WE HAVE A STACKED SHOW FOR ALL OF YOU! Shio Corin will fight against Roberto de la Rosa, and we will see Grace de Luca fight against the Specialists Champion Brianna Hill!
Eve: As well as Cody Maverick defending the National Elite Championship this time against Nikki Kimura, and in the main event, prepare yourselves, CAN THEY CO-EXIST?! As Bronson Daniels actually teams with Ryan Wilson to fight TLA and Jon Kelton!
Gavin Kirkland: We are here in Switzerland and the women here are beautiful, but we will have the contract signing right now to kick off Showdown and speaking of beauties, Alana Starr is in the ring right now! LET’S START OFF THE SHOW NOW WITH MY SUPERNOVA AND MY GOAT, VEENAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
(The camera pans to Gina Romano in the ring with Alana Starr.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to Showdown!
(The crowd explodes in cheers.)
Gina Romano: May I introduce at this time…. The assistant General Manager of Showdown – ALANA STARR!
(More cheers come to the beautiful Starr as she smirks, Gina leaves the ring while Alana has the mic.)
Alana Starr: Thank you Showdown fans. What I have right here is a contract for the match between Veena Adams and Milli Banks where one of them will go on to Main Event Pain For Pride and compete for the Answers World Championship. So may I introduce at this time…. VEENA ADAMS!
(“7 Rings” by Ariana Grande starts to play throughout the arena as the crowd erupts in cheers. Veena Adams comes out and smiles, looking around at the crowd before heading to the ring.)
Deadprez: When you talk about a woman that has in the last three season turned her career around and is now one of the top females in this profession, the name Veena Adams comes up.
Eve: Veena Adams built her brand, and the thing is, she has never changed, you either love or hate her. But she has become a Main Eventer here on Showdown and now we are going to see her get the chance to be at the top of the biggest show of the year!
Gavin Kirkland: Looking beautiful as ever, but at what point will these two women need to throw their friendship away to Main Event Pain For Pride!
(Veena gets to the ring and walks over to the table, sitting down as her theme dies down and it is replaced with ‘Don’t’ by Azumi Takahashi and Lotus Juice as the fans erupt in cheers again. This time Milli Banks walks out and she smiles to the fans.)
Alana Starr: And her opponent at Fighting Spirit … MILLI BANKS!
(Milli Banks makes her way to the ring as well, she gets to the apron and steps in.)
Deadprez: And here is Milli Banks, former Universal Women’s Champion and someone that is looking to get back into the Championship fold and these two have built a strong relationship since Territorial Invasion.
Eve: Milli Banks and Veena Adams both want this spot, though Milli has tasted the Main Event last year when she became the Universal Women’s Champion in a Triple Threat and one of the women that she defeated was the previously undefeated Minerva at the biggest show of the year, and now she is trying to recapture that magic.
Gavin Kirkland: It won’t be easy with the other two Elitists in the match.
(Milli is in the ring, and she sits down right across from Veena. The two shake hands and show sportsmanship before waiting as Alana speaks.)
Alana Starr: Thank you ladies, what you see in front of you is a contract for the match at Fighting Spirit. As we all know, the winner will Main Event Pain For Pride and get an opportunity at the Answers World Championship. I would just like to say how proud I am of both of you and the season that you have had. And now this is the culmination of all that hard work, where two best friends will face each other for the top spot and a chance to be a World Champion, for Milli again, and for Veena a first time. I will give you two ladies a chance to say a few words before signing the contract and making it official. Milli, please go first.
(the camera pans on Milli Banks who nods, she has a lot on her mind, turning her attention to Veena Adams sitting right across from her.)
Milli Banks: You know, this season has been a special one, from breaking the record for having the longest reigning Universal Women’s Championship to being a part of this group of some of the greatest Elitists getting together to fend off Silas World, it is definitely one to remember when it comes to making history on my first tenure on Showdown, but since Shock Value, I will admit that I have been wondering what my road to Pain For Pride was going to be, well, I do know now. And while it sucks that I have to wrestle my bestie knowing that one of us is going to be heartbroken after the match is over. Veena… you know I love you chile, but I plan to go out there and win, head into Pain For Pride and Main Event.
(The crowd cheers as the camera turns to Veena and now she is on the spot to say a few things.)
Alana Starr: Now, Veena Adams please.
Veena Adams: Thank you Alana. Look, first thing is first, like nobody ever thought that I would ever get the chance to Main Event Pain For Pride, let alone win a World Championship. But the reality is we are here now and when it comes to Veena Adams pre-2022, I was never seen as a threat to any championship. How times have changed. Everyone knows including you that I do have a chip on my shoulder because unlike you, Milli I was less than a month away from breaking the National Elite Championship reign and since then I have had a sour taste in my mouth. Milli, you know how much I love you too, but this is the Pain For Pride Main Event that is on the line, and not you or anyone is going to stop me from taking my place this year, because you had your moment last year to finally be at the top of Showdown.
(With that said, Alana nods, and takes out the contract, she gives it to Milli first. She wastes no time signing it. Alana then shows Veena the contract as she signs it too.)
Alana Starr: It is NOW OFFICIAL! The winner will Main Event Pain For Pride. Thank you ladies.
(The crowd cheers as Milli stands up and extends her hand in a handshake, Veena then stands up and shakes it as both women look at one another and nod, but then Milli pulls Veena into her as both women glare at one another almost touching noses. Veena is a bit surprised, but just smiles as they continue to stare at one another.)
Deadprez: We can cut the tension with a knife, and we all know that this is going to be a show stealer. Veena Adams and Milli Banks is official and in one week we will see which one of these two women will indeed main event Pain For Pride.
Eve: This is going to be good!
Gavin Kirkland: They are so beautiful, both deserve to be in the Main Event at Pain For Pride!
(The scene fades to a commercial break as it continues to show Milli and Veena staring at each other with both forming smirks on their faces.)
(The camera cuts to Gina Romano in the ring.)
Gina Romano: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Gina Romano: Introducing first from Philadelphia, PA weighing 255 pounds this is SHIOOOOOOOO CORRRRRRINNNNNNN!!!
Eve: Shio Corin managed to get a big win over Sorn last week. But this week he is on to even bigger competition!
Deadprez: That is right Shio Corin might be taking on the biggest threat of his whole career as he steps in against the former Hardcore Champion!
Gavin Kirkland: We will see how he does with this challenge and so will Alana Starr as she is now making her lovely presence known. Do you think she will come sit next to us?
(Alana Starr is shown coming to ringside as she takes a seat on the far side of the ring by the entrance ramp.)
Gavin Kirkland: Damn…
(PUT EM IN THE FRIDGE – By Peso Pluma (ft. Cardi B) hits!!!)
Gavin Kirkland: And his opponent from Hidalgo, Mexico weighing in at 225 pounds he is “El Candidato” ROBERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTO DE LA ROSAAAAA!!!
Eve: El Candidato? Is he running for president or some shit?
Deadprez: Well he is on the road to Pain for Pride. And he is in the running for a big match! A few weeks ago he challenged for the National Elite Championship but unfortunately lost.
Gavin Kirkland: Roberto is looking to climb the ranks again and possibly get another opportunity in the near future. With Alana Starr out here all eyes are on him! Can Roberto make the successful comeback?!?!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Eve: We are underway now and this match is definitely interesting. I think the crowd hates both of them equally.
Gavin Kirkland: Nah they definitely hate Roberto more.
Eve: You might be right. The referee now signalling for the match to begin. Roberto offers his hand and Shio slaps it and that is about as much respect as I imagine we will be seeing here in this match. They circle around each other in the ring. Shio goes for a Spinning Roundhouse Kick right off the bat but Roberto easily sidesteps it. Roberto methodically goes in for a lockup with Shio. They lock up and Shio immediately pulls Roberto into a Headlock but he quickly slips out of it. They go to lockup again and Roberto manages to slip around behind Shio grabbing him from behind and hurls him backwards with a German Suplex! But Shio grabs the ropes and Roberto quickly breaks before even the referee can get involved. They lock up once again as Shio dives for the leg of Roberto but Roberto walks backwards managing to get out of it. Roberto then lunges for the legs of Shio and gets him and throws him onto his stomach.
Deadprez: Roberto grabs the leg of Shio and yanks him upwards and into the middle of the ring as he extends the arm of Shio around behind his back. Shio tries to maneuver himself over onto his back but Roberto swings his legs around into the extended arm of Shio and wraps his legs around the arm keeping his opponent grounded. Shio tries to shove one of the legs of Roberto off him but Roberto kicks him hard in the face. Shio is taking a beating here and might have to submit. But Shio repositions himself into a hands and knees position as Roberto keeps the hold applied but the pressure is now being put down onto Roberto’s shoulders and he can’t maintain the hold any longer and is forced to release. Shio headbutts Roberto hard as he lets go and both men fall backwards to the mat.
Eve: Both men already wearing themselves out with the technical wrestling as they get back up to their feet and look to go in on each other once again. Roberto grabs Shio from behind wrestling him down to the mat and grabbing the arm once again. But Shio is wise to that now and manages to pull his arm free before Roberto can grab it. Shio grabs Roberto’s leg and tries to take him off balance but Roberto is firmly planted. Roberto kicks Shio throwing him back across the ring but Shio quickly scrambles back up to his feet. Shio wondering what he is going to have to do to deal with Roberto. Roberto definitely has the experience edge here but Shio might have a quickness advantage if he is capable of catching Roberto off guard.
Deadprez: Shio goes for a Spinning Backfist! But Roberto ducks it and throws fists to the gut of Shio. Shio falls backwards but then bounces off the ropes and ducks the fists of Roberto! Shio with a headbutt to Roberto and both men fall backwards across the ring staggering into opposite corners. Shio and Roberto charge out of the corners and both take each other down with a Double Running Clothesline! Both down in the ring as the referee begins to count them down!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEV-
Gavin Kirkland: But both Shio and Roberto are recovering now slowly getting back up to their feet. Roberto grabs Shio by the arm and twists him around. But Roberto manages to flip out of the armbar with an impressive cartwheel. Roberto off the ropes as he goes in for a Flying Headscissors on Shio! But Shio grabs the leg of Roberto in midair and slams him down sideways. Shio twists Roberto over and flips him into a Half Boston Crab! Shio has Roberto where he wants him but Roberto is crawling across the ring! Can he get to the bottom rope!?-
Eve: He can and he does! Roberto reaches the bottom rope and Shio is forced to break the hold. Both back up now as Roberto goes in for a Running Spear on Shio! But Shio sidesteps it and grabs Roberto lifting him up high in the air into Torture Rack position! But Roberto is struggling and Shio falls backwards into the corner. Shio pulls himself up onto the top rope off the shoulders of Roberto and then leaps off the top! Flying Crossbody connects! Shio with the first cover of this match!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Deadprez: Kickout by Roberto! Roberto back up but Shio immediately applies a Headlock trying to keep control of this contest! Roberto gets his leg over the bottom rope and Shio releases it. But then Shio with hard kicks to the legs of Roberto trying to catch him off balance. Roberto grabs the leg of Shio and takes him down with a Dragon Screw! Shio goes down as Roberto grabs the leg of Shio trying to go for an Ankle Lock! But Shio immediately wraps his arms around the bottom rope and won’t let Roberto yank him of-
Eve: No! Roberto yanked Shio off the ropes! But Shio twists himself to his back and lands in the middle of the ring! Shio now punching upwards at Roberto and then uses his leg strength to throw Roberto backwards! Roberto hits the ropes and comes back as Shio uses his legs to throw Roberto backwards into the air! Roberto lands on his back behind Shio who holds his hands and rolls up on top of him. Roberto pulls himself up as well as Shio continues to hold Roberto’s hands and leaps up feet first onto Roberto’s chest! Shio then tosses Roberto backwards towards the ropes at high speed!-
Deadprez: ROBERTO IS SENT FLYING OVER THE TOP ROPE AT HIGH SPEED!!!-
Gavin Kirkland: No! Roberto flips over the top rope but hangs onto it with his arm and flips himself over landing feet first on the apron! Roberto runs across the apron over to the top turnbuckle and pulls himself up to the top! Shio didn’t notice as he turns around! Roberto with a Flying Headbutt off the top to the standing Shio! Shio takes the headbutt in midair like a battering ram as he is dropped and Roberto falls on him for the pin!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Eve: Shio kicks out! Roberto thought he had him there! Roberto pulls Shio up… But Shio lunges at Roberto grabbing him around the waist and flipping him over to the mat! But Roberto kicks Shio away from him. Shio back up but goes for a Leg Sweep. But Roberto jumps over it! Roberto grabs Shio around the waist in midair trapping him into a Bearhug! But Shio with elbows to the top of Roberto’s head breaking the grasp of Roberto. Shio then locks his legs around the arm of Roberto dragging him down to the mat but they fall into the ropes. Both men back up as Roberto quickly drops Shio with a Dropkick! Shio gets back up and Roberto grabs him and lifts him up with a Scoop Slam-
Deadprez: No! Shio falls down behind Roberto and kicks him in the back of the leg. Roberto falls down onto one knee as Shio runs across the ring and grabs him by the head taking him down with a Running Facebuster. Roberto falls down onto his back flipping up and looking up at the lights as Shio runs the ropes. Shio cartwheels off the ropes with a Handspring and comes back down onto Roberto with an Elbow Drop! Shio is being extra tonight!
Eve: Extra but still effective as Shio transitions into an Armbar on the ground but Roberto quickly slides out of it. Roberto with an elbow strike to the side of Shio’s head knocking him away but Roberto yanks him back down into a Headlock continuing this mat wrestling. But Shio manages to slide his head out as Roberto’s grasp was not strong enough! Both competitors back up as Shio runs in but Roberto throws him up into the air! Pop Up Powerbomb! No! Shio lands on the shoulders of Roberto and throws him neck first into the middle ropes with a Hurricanrana!
Deadprez: Roberto lands on the middle rope as Shio runs across the ring and jumps onto his back with a Double Foot Stomp to the back of his opponent! But Shio stands up with Roberto standing on him and knocks Roberto backwards! Roberto rolls as he falls backwards in the ring but immediately eats a Superkick from Shio out of nowhere! Roberto staggers back as Shio kicks him hard in the gut and drops him with a quick DDT! Shio to the cover!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEE-
Gavin Kirkland: Roberto kicks out! Even Auburn Ware looks shocked. She thought that was it and she is furiously writing down notes on her tablet.
Eve: Shio back up as he throws Roberto into the corner. But Roberto rolls out of it and begins hammering into the gut of Shio with repeated strikes! Eventually Shio collapses in the ring from the strikes but Roberto just keeps stomping and kicking at him. Shio unable to defend himself as Roberto runs off the ropes and hits a Running Punt Kick to the gut. Shio is in a bad way now.
Deadprez: Roberto pulls Shio back up… But Shio eats a Pump Kick to the face. Shio down in the corner as Roberto hits a Running Kick to the back. Shio collapses to the mat but Roberto kicks him hard right in the face. Blood runs down the face of Shio as Roberto stomps down on his face again. Shio tries to fight off Roberto with a punch but Roberto kicks his arm away. Shio pulls himself up but Roberto kicks at his legs and he goes down. But suddenly Shio rushes forward lunging at Roberto with a Headbutt to the gut! Roberto takes it hard but then kicks Shio in the skull knocking him back down to the mat once more.
Eve: The referee might have to stop this thing as Roberto continues to kick the head of Shio who is now bleeding from the strikes of Roberto. Shio tries to sit up and guard his head but Roberto just kicks at his unprotected arm and back. Roberto tries to move the arms of Shio but Shio spits blood in his face! Roberto falls back and wipes the blood out of his eyes as Shio gets up and charges in at Roberto with a desperate Running Forearm catching him off guard! Roberto falls into the ropes and comes back towards Shio who grabs him and takes him down with a powerful Belly to Belly Suplex! Shio to the cover and this might be his last chance to get the win!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEE-
Deadprez: But it was not to be! Roberto kicks out! Shio has a glazed look in his eye as he realizes he has given it his all but it has not been enough to put the former Hardcore Champion away!
Gavin Kirkland: Roberto is back up first and he charges in hitting Shio outta nowhere with a Jumping Cutter. Just like that Shio is back down. And now Roberto with a shit eating grin on his face as he kicks Shio knocking him over. Roberto now toying with Shio dragging him around the ring by the arm like a ragdoll!
Eve: Roberto pulls Shio up and it looks like he is going to go for the Mexican Destroyer here! Shio is fucked!
Deadprez: No! Shio Corin fighting back and suddenly punching back against Roberto! But Roberto off the ropes and rakes the eyes of Shio!
Eve: MEXICAN DESTROYER!!!-
Deadprez: No! Shio leaps over Roberto and catches him with a Sunset Flip!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eve: Holy shit! Shio somehow found a way to steal the win in the end! Roberto is flabbergasted!!
(Roberto De La Rosa is shown holding the sides of his head in complete shock and rage. He can’t believe what has happened.)
Deadprez: Massive upset here by Shio Corin. He has only been around a short time but has already defeated the former Hardcore Champion Roberto de la Rosa!
(Alana Starr is shown nodding her head as she claps briefly for the competitors in the match before standing up and walking out of the arena having clearly seen enough.)
Eve: Alana Starr is taking notes on this match and given we are on the road to Pain for Pride every match counts! Shio Corin has definitely made an impression tonight!
Gavin Kirkland: I mean to be fair Roberto seemed to have that match in the bag until the very end. We should give him credit too.
Eve: We should. But I refuse.
Gavin Kirkland: Damn. The bias is real…
(The camera cuts to a commercial featuring the members of the EAW roster receiving media training after recent incidents on the Social Stream.)
(Showdown came back from commercials as at that moment, “Homecoming” by Lil Uzi Vert began to play on the speakers and the crowd ended up exploding into loud boos, as Brianna Hill came out with a confident grin on her face, she was already in her ring gear as she prepared herself for her match later against Grace de Luca. Yet again Silas Mason accompanied her right next to her. Some people in the front row tried to annoy him but he simply blew them off as the two of them walked forward heading towards the ring.)
Gavin Kirkland: Well, well, if it isn’t my mamacita-
Eve: Don’t you even dare call another woman that, no one wants to be your mother in any way, I am sure of it.
Gavin Kirkland: Okay now you just want to be mean, Eve, my mother loves me very much! She would be very proud!
Deadprez: More like weeping for you, but anyway, Brianna Hill despite the loss that Silas World took last week trying to show that she is in a good mood, and she’s not going to let that kind of thing hold her back from continuing forward despite Auburn Ware proving her wrong when it came down to it. Let’s see what she has to say.
(Brianna Hill finally arrives at the ring, taking a moment to pose in the ring apron with the Specialists Championship before finally, Silas Mason walks back towards her after getting a microphone for her. The two end up entering as well and Brianna deciding to actually take the stand herself, she lets Silas hang back before her music dies down and then she clears her throat, trying to get the attention of the booing crowd.)
Brianna Hill: Now, before I go and pull another great performance in the ring for you ungrateful people, I do want to make a quick message and say that whatever happened last week was a whole FLUKE! Yeah, and I am serious with what I am saying, don’t even try and boo me because you know that I am right! And genuinely, I hope to God up there, that Auburn isn’t really going to try and run with that kind of ball for as far as she can when we end up facing, because frankly, I would not be able to take Auburn continue to go down the same route with her annoyingly squeaky voice, it would drive me insane!
(The crowd continues to boo despite Brianna’s words, as she simply rolls her eyes when hearing them react like that.)
Brianna Hill: Why are all of you so set to be behind her?! Yeah, cool, I know I am one of the bad guys of the brand thanks to just me doing what was best for my career, but despite the man over here accompanying me, I am still my own woman with my own battles to fight, and when I go out there to wrestle, I will be the only person to fight with no one else, when it is my own battle to fight, I can be the best around. So you know what? I am confident in the fact that Auburn won’t be able to pin me again! Hell, you know how confident I can be? I will tell it right to her face so come on out, you twerp!
(Brianna waits patiently as “Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift & Kendrick Lamar plays on the speakers to loud cheers from the crowd. Auburn Ware walked out with fire in her eyes and confidence in her steps. She looked around the people supporting her with their voices and then she focused solely on Brianna in the ring, as Auburn held her own microphone in her hand and then she walked down.)
Gavin Kirkland: SKSDKSDNKSDJKSJKDJKDJKJ! AUBUUUUUUUUUUUUURRNNNNNNNNN! MY GOAT!
Eve: Every woman is your goat at this point, but after Brianna said those words, it seems that Auburn isn’t going to stay down and take them easily. Auburn truly believes that she is on the cusp of greatness and is close to reaching the next level, that is why she believes to herself that she can become the next Specialists Champion!
(Auburn finally arrives at the ring, she keeps her eyes on Silas as he simply backs away and lets the ladies take the center. Auburn’s theme song dies down and then Brianna finally speaks up.)
Brianna Hill: Let me get this very clear to you, Auburn. You won’t be able to do what you did again when it is just us two, it is better that you stay in your lane and you don’t even try and dare to mess with me in any way possible. At Super Showdown, no matter what excuse you try and make to show that you are the one to win, that you are threatening, I am going to teach you a lesson-
(At that moment Auburn suddenly covers up Brianna’s microphone with her hand and the crowd explodes into cheers at the defiant action from her, Brianna is taken aback by the action as she pulls away her hand and this time Auburn speaks up with conviction in her voice.)
Auburn Ware: You are wrong in every possible way, your words that you spew out right in front of me, they do nothing to me at all. Because I know what I am capable of, and I know how strong I truly am. You are right, I simply can’t already call my victory just off a tag match that we had, but it is that small opportunity that I got, that you ended up letting me get, that you couldn’t stop, that showed that I have the potential to be able to truly put you down when it is needed, that I have the strength to become the Specialists Champion. We know how things have come to be for you, what you have had to do to be able to achieve that, and you know what will be the most satisfying thing in existence? Auburn Ware: And what makes you think that a prodigy has to be perfect in everything? I call myself a prodigy by the fact that I have the talent to be able to be here in the first place, but I have also made sure to work hard to get the opportunities that I desired for myself. I have worked hard to be here and stand with the rest of the wrestlers in EAW! And I have worked hard to grow strong enough to know that I can beat you when it comes down to it!
Brianna Hill: You won’t no matter what you say.
Auburn Ware: Then we will just have to find out when the time comes… good luck in your match.
(Auburn drops the microphone and then she walks past over Brianna, the crowd still cheering loudly for her as she simply moves through the ropes and then she makes her way to the commentator’s table. Brianna simply shook her head and then kept to herself, as she tried her best to not let Auburn get to her. She backs away towards the corner as Showdown goes to commercials.)
(Showdown came back from commercials, as Auburn was now seated in commentary and Brianna was warming up in her corner.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST, ALREADY IN THE RING, FROM CANCÚN, MEXICO, WEIGHING IN AT 119 POUNDS, SHE IS THE SPECIALISTS CHAMPION, “THE BUTTERFLY QUEEN”, BRIANNAAAAA HIIILLLLLL!!!
(The cameras then turned back towards the ramp, as “Genie In A Bottle” by Christina Aguilera plays on the speakers and the crowd boos incredibly loudly, with Grace de Luca walking out with a gigantic grin on her face, she poses on the top of the ramp, waving off the negative fans around her before she walks forward down towards the ring.)
Gina Romano: AND INTRODUCING HER OPPONENT, FROM LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, WEIGHING IN AT 121 POUNDS, SHE IS “THE PARADIGM OF PERFECTION”, GRACEEEEEE DE LUUUUUCAAAAAA!!!
Eve: Thank you for being with us here, Auburn!

Auburn Ware: Thank you as well for having me Eve.
Deadprez: What do you think of the women in this match?
Gavin Kirkland: Hi Auburn!
Auburn Ware: Well Deadprez, I have talked plenty of them already, and I will talk a bit more about them when the match happens, as for Brianna, she looks focused, she looks ready, I can’t underestimate her focus when it comes to matches, and as for Grace, she is… very unbearable at times but she has passion for winning, at least. I am looking forward to seeing what will happen as these two face off.
Gavin Kirkland: Hi Au-
Eve: Let’s get on with the match!
(Grace finally reaches the ring and then gracefully enters and takes her corner, the referee checks to see if the wrestlers are ready before finally…)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Gavin Kirkland: AND THE MATCH IS UNDERWAY! Aw man, you don’t know how excited I am to watch two of my goats wrestle right now, yes, I know, my loyalty lies with Silas World themselves since that is my group, shoutout to them obviously but Grace de Luca is the next big thing people, you need to watch what she does no matter what and believe me, you will come out of the match knowing a lot more than when you went into it, let me tell you that match.
Auburn Ware: Well, I am at least glad that Gavin can actually enjoy the match and the work of this women, you can’t really say the same for the rest of the crowd that is watching, I have heard the loud booing from them very clearly even when I was backstage.
Deadprez: I will assume you will feel the same towards them, Auburn?
Auburn Ware: Honestly, I won’t, if you ask me, I don’t really like the women that are on the ring currently, I really think that the way they have done things and what have forced them to take those kinds of actions don’t really sit right with me, one of them is very stubborn and doesn’t listen to reason while the other has to put up some fake sense of grandeur to try and make herself look like she is more than she is, but I am here as a guest commentator and it is my job to commentate and give respect for their own craft.
Eve: Very well said Auburn, you are already giving the wrestlers in the ring respect COMPARED to someone else.
Gavin Kirkland: Yeah Deadprez, you should be more careful about what you say out there.
Deadprez: ???? Dawg, if you don’t-
Gavin Kirkland: ANYWAYS, WOOOOOOOOO! LOOK AT BRIANNA AND GRACE ALREADY LOCKING UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! Brianna is using some of her strength here to try and push Grace towards the corner, as Grace is nervously shifting her body around, hoping to make Brianna trip and somehow be able to take advantage of that blunder, Grace is shaking around like she has hypothermia or something!
Eve: But eventually Brianna is able to push her towards the corner and then she starts throwing elbow strikes right onto her jaw! Rocking her with not one, not two, but three elbow strikes that got Grace feeling woozy! Brianna is actually climbing up the ropes now and she is trying to throw strikes from up top!
Gavin Kirkland: BUT GRACE COMES ALIVE! She ends up Brianna right on the side of her knee, trying to somehow make her fall over, before finally, she moves over- AND THEN YANKS HER RIGHT OFF! Brianna falls head first onto the top corner while Grace walks away with grace to her step! Get it? Get it?
Deadprez: Loud and clear, sadly, but while Grace turns over and she lets the crowd admire her… beauty, let’s say to be nice, Grace runs forward to try and go for a big boot in the corner!
Eve: BUT BRIANNA POPS UP AND THEN SHE HITS A JUMPING KNEE RIGHT ACROSS GRACE’S FACE! Grace is yet again caught off guard and Brianna makes sure to take advantage of that, grabbing onto Grace and then throwing her back first yet again onto the corner, before once more Brianna starts lighting up Grace de Luca with elbow strikes, this time towards her chest all while Grace is screaming very loudly in a panic, good thing that we don’t have to hear any of that with our headphones on!
Auburn Ware: As you can probably predict, I obviously like Brianna Hill a little bit more than Grace, Grace does not listen to anything or anyone, and she is basically living in her own little world without anybody else being able to tell her that what she is doing is very wrong, and no one to help her because she doesn’t want to be helped. At least Brianna is honest in a way with her words, even if they can be wrong sometimes, that is why I made sure to stand my ground to not let her try and prove that I was wrong myself, so hopefully, she can prove people wrong further by beating this very peculiar… woman.
Deadprez: OH NAH! LOOK! Grace ends up poking Brianna’s eyes when she pulls back for one last elbow and Grace ends up kicking her back once Brianna least expects it!
Auburn Ware: That is what I meant with a peculiar opponent, she is very slippery and she is really going to try to pick shortcuts whenever she gets the chance. Brianna should know well how to deal with that now.
Deadprez: It is still going to be hard to place your focus back on the match after your eyes get poked, as Grace ends up stomping down on Brianna’s knee and then she forces her throat down onto the rope! Grace putting herself onto Brianna and using her weight to try and get the wind out of her! The referee ends up moving over and then he starts counting Grace!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Gavin Kirkland: And then my infinite bag goat ends up letting go and then Brianna ends up falling down onto the mat, all while Grace turns to the audience and yet again flaunts in front of them, to loud boos from them but those are boos of jealousy because they know damn well they can’t be as good as she is, gosh darn it!
Deadprez: Alright, settle down man, jeez. Brianna is slowly pushing herself up to her feet once more and once she sees Grace trying to flaunt towards the crowd with her back turned- OH DAMN! BRIANNA STARTS PULLING GRACE BACK BY HER HAIR ALL WHILE GRACE IS SCREAMING IN PAIN!
Eve: Not the cleanest way to get to where Brianna wanted but she eventually reached there! The referee is warning Brianna to not pull on the hair but eventually Brianna moves and then she throws Grace towards the ropes, and once Grace bounces off them because of the way she got thrown, Brianna moves over and then-
Deadprez: BAM! Running Clothesline right across her neck that sends Grace down to the mat! Brianna is not done yet though! As she grabs onto Grace and then she lifts her up yet again towards her feet- BEFORE HITTING HER DOWN WITH ANOTHER CLOTHESLINE THAT TAKES HER OFF HER FEET ONCE MORE! Grace scrambling now here and then trying to scurry away now that she gets some retaliation for her attacks!
Auburn Ware: It was very annoying having to see her continue to scurry away to try and get away from me when I was throwing my offense at her, that is what I warned a few minutes ago, but it seems that Brianna is not going to try… and chase after her?
Eve: Brianna seemingly knows it is a lost cause to go and chase after Grace de Luca, so Brianna simply hangs back and decides to recover meanwhile, all while Grace is resting in the barricade, fanning herself and then letting out a sigh of relief to herself. One of the fans in the front row tries to get a selfie with her but she immediately pushes them away and then she acts like she is going to barf.
Deadprez: So Gavin, this is your goat apparently?
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t need your doubts to be placed yet again on me Deadprez, I had enough of your criticisms when it comes to who I want to support and who I want to shout out as the future, but let me tell you, you will not expect what Grace is going to do now.
Eve: The referee is already on the count of 7 as Grace is panicking, she has to enter the ring or else she is going to get counted out!
Gavin Kirkland: This is a 1000 IQ move, you will see it very soon- SEE! AT THE LAST MOMENT SHE ENDS UP ENTERING THE RING!
Deadprez: AND BRIANNA IS THERE TO PRESENT HER TO VARIOUS REPEATED STOMPS RIGHT ONTO HER BACK! BRIANNA NOT HOLDING BACK WITH THE FORCE OF THE STOMPS BEFORE GRACE IS FORCED TO GRAB ONTO THE ROPES AND THEN PULL HERSELF OUT OF THE RING YET AGAIN!
Eve: And then we are back to where we started as Grace is resting over once more of the barricade and then trying to wipe the imaginary sweat off of her forehead. Alright then.
Auburn Ware: It seems that Brianna finally had enough here as she ends up going through the ropes suddenly and then she starts chasing after Grace, all while Grace turns and then she starts running yet again! Grace genuinely is not trying to get on Brianna’s bad side!
Eve: But eventually the chase stops right where Silas Mason is himself! Grace suddenly grabs him by the back and then she starts using him like a meat shield without the consent of Silas himself, as Brianna stands there confused at what is happening and Silas can only shrug!
Deadprez: Brianna is able to grab onto Silas instead and then pry him off of Grace, as she goes and-
Eve: GRACE SUDDENLY ATTACKS AND THEN SHE THROWS A BIG BOOT RIGHT TOWARDS BRIANNA’S JAW!
Deadprez: BRIANNA ENDS UP DUCKING DOWN THE BIG BOOT RIGHT IN TIME!
Gavin Kirkland: AND GRACE HITS SILAS MASON INSTEAD! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! MY LEADER!
Auburn Ware: Okay, I am going to be honest, that was pretty funny.
Eve: Honestly, very deserved if you ask me. Both Grace and Brianna look over in shock as they see that Silas was knocked down onto the ground but Grace immediately takes advantage of that distraction, grabbing onto Brianna and then pushing her towards the steel steps! Grace grabbing onto Brianna’s arm and then irish whipping her towards the other set of steel steps! Grace somehow has been able to turn it around and then bring the balance of the match back to her! Yes, very surprising, I know!
Auburn Ware: Not very surprising if you know how her strategy works, it is very dirty, that is for sure but it works in the way that she-
Gavin Kirkland: HAH! I TOLD YOU, YOU IDIOTS! She had that 2000 IQ move right there! She ended up making Brianna mad to the point that she forced her to come out, and then when she chased her around, Grace drew her in to be able to take out Silas Mason and then take out Brianna herself, what a goat ladies and gentlemen, what a goat!
Eve: Okay, on what side are you on by this point, Gavin?
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t know, I am very confused as well! As long as one of them ends up winning the match, I will be happy!
Deadprez: I can’t even say one is sure to win since Grace almost counted herself out so you know what, let’s focus back. Grace threw Brianna inside of the ring and then Grace followed up!
Gavin Kirkland: Oh, look at her taking her time on the ring apron! SHE IS GOING TO GO FOR A SLINGSHOT MOVE! LOOK AT THE INFINITE BAG! LOOK AT THE INFINITE BAG!
Eve: Grace actually thinks to try something like that for a moment but she immediately chickens out and then she just decides to enter inside for a moment, and then she hits a slap right across Brianna’s face instead.
Gavin Kirkland: No, no, I understand her, leave the big moves for the big matches, I understand.
Auburn Ware: Isn’t fighting the Specialist Champion a big enough match-
Gavin Kirkland: SHE IS NOW PUTTING BRIANNA IN A HEADLOCK! Look at the graps, Auburn, look at the graps!
Auburn Ware: Oh my gosh…
Eve: Grace trying to weaken Brianna with that headlock and surprisingly, some people in the crowd are actually cheering for Brianna, since Grace of course is that annoying, and Brianna is slowly trying to push Grace towards the ropes, trying to get her away from her! She finally pushes her and then goes to pry her off-
Gavin Kirkland: But this time Grace is able to turn over and then grab tightly onto Brianna’s head, as she moves over, jumping onto the ropes and then jumping off, trying to go for a Tornado DDT! LOOK AT THE GRAPS, YESSIR!
Deadprez: Brianna is able to push Grace off of her head before she can hit that Tornado DDT! Brianna backs against the ropes and then she runs forward, she finally has her sights on Grace! THAT RUNNING DROPKICK!
Gavin Kirkland: GRACE IS ACTUALLY ABLE TO PUSH BRIANNA’S LEGS DOWN ONTO THE MAT RIGHT IN TIME BEFORE SHE CAN HIT HER! Grace looks slightly in shock at what she just pulled off but she immediately starts rushing forward, moving yet again towards the ropes and then jumping onto them! YES, THIS TIME SHE GOES FOR THE SKIES! AS SHE GOES FOR A SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK!
Eve: THIS TIME BRIANNA ROLLS TO THE SIDE AND AVOIDS IT AS WELL! GRACE GOES CRASHING ONTO THE MAT AND BRIANNA HAS NO MERCY HERE BECAUSE AS SOON AS SHE GETS UP, SHE RUSHES FORWARD AND THEN HITS A FOREARM RIGHT ACROSS HER JAW! A RIGHT HAND RIGHT ACROSS HER FACE, AND THEN FINALLY, A SLAP RIGHT ACROSS THAT FORCES GRACE TO DO A SPIN!
Deadprez: Grace falls hard against the mat and now she starts backing away towards the corner in a panic, all while Brianna moves and gives chase, Grace is trying to grab onto the ropes before finally, Brianna is able to pull Grace away-
Gavin Kirkland: HAAAAHHHH! GRACE GRABBED HER HAT AND PULLED OUT THAT HAIRSPRAY! SHE BLINDS BRIANNA AND THEN SHE THROWS THE CAN AWAY! COME ON, GRACE!
Eve: What the hell?! Grace rushes towards the corner… AND THEN SHE RUNS, “BITTERSWEET CHIN MUSIC!”
Auburn Ware: BRIANNA DUCKS DOWN RIGHT IN TIME AGAIN!
Deadprez: AND GRACE ENDS UP SUPERKICKING THE REFEREE INSTEAD! THE REFEREE GOES DOWN!
(Grace’s jaw drops when she sees what ended up happening, she grabs onto her head in a panic seeing the accident, before she sees Brianna still trying to get her eyesight back, she quickly gets an idea.)
Eve: Wait, Grace heads towards the ropes and then she rolls under the ropes! Oh my gosh… she is taking a steel chair from under the ring! She enters back in, she is planning to slam it right against Brianna’s head, all while Brianna is still blinded!
Auburn Ware: It seems the referee is slowly trying to wake up and getting up to his feet…
Deadprez: Brianna turns around!
Gavin Kirkland: AND GRACE THROWS THE STEEL CHAIR TO BRIANNA AS SHE DROPS DOWN TO THE MAT! WHAT A GENIUUUSSSSS!!!
(Brianna catches the chair… but seeing the referee was still wobbling and looking at Grace faking it, she drops the chair-)
Eve: BRIANNA SUDDENLY SUPERKICKS THE REFEREE HERSELF AND THE REFEREE GOES DOWN AGAIN! WHAT THE HELL?!
Gavin Kirkland: HUH?????
Deadprez: GRACE IS ABSOLUTELY CONFUSED AT WHAT SHE JUST SAW, AS SHE PUSHES HERSELF UP-
Auburn Ware: BRIANNA SUDDENLY SNATCHES GRACE UP INTO THE AIR!
Eve: “THE GRUDGE” RIGHT ONTO THE STEEL CHAIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! BRIANNA PUSHES GRACE OFF AND THEN THROWS THE CHAIR OUT OF THE RING WHILE THE REFEREE WAS ON THE GROUND!
Deadprez: Brianna goes to wake up the referee again and then pulls him up, all while Brianna runs the ropes! Brianna outsmarts Grace!
Eve: “HITS DIFFERENT!!!” THE SHINING WIZARD RIGHT ACROSS GRACE’S JAW AND THEN BRIANNA COVERS HER!!!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

(“Homecoming” plays on the speakers and Brianna rolls off with a victorious smile, the reaction being very mixed towards her as she raises her arms up in the air, being able to overcome and outsmart Grace at her own game.)

Gavin Kirkland: YESSIR, MY SPECIALISTS CHAMPION! I KNEW SHE COULD DO IT! WOOOOOOO!

Auburn Ware: Well, congrats to Brianna on her win. But it seems that she won’t be done just yet, sigh.
(Auburn gets up out of her chair as she sees Brianna rolling off, grabbing her championship and then walking towards her. Auburn and Brianna begin to argue between each other before finally, Brianna turns over-)
Eve: BRIANNA TURNS AND TRIES TO HIT AUBURN IN THE FACE WITH THE CHAMPIONSHIP BUT AUBURN EXPECTED AND DUCKED, AS THE TWO WOMEN START BRAWLING, THROWING STRIKES AND PUNCHES AT EACH OTHER!
Deadprez: The two of them start brawling across the ringside, rushing over and Auburn pushing Brianna towards the ramp! Brianna is able to get the height advantage, as she rushes back to try and hit Auburn out of nowhere with a knee!
Gavin Kirkland: AUBURN SUDDENLY POPS BRIANNA UP TO HER SHOULDERS! AUBURN TURNS OVER WITH HER! LOOK AT HEEERRR!!!
Eve: “VERITYYYYYY!!!” AUBURN DROPS BRIANNA ONTO HER OWN KNEE AND BRIANNA GOES TUMBLING DOWN THE RAMP!
Deadprez: Auburn stands tall!
(The crowd cheers loudly as Auburn moves down to grab onto the Specialists Championship, she walks backwards and then she raises the championship up in the air, posing with it as the show slowly faded to commercials.)
(We have returned from commercial break and there is nothing going on at ringside at the current time. But the silence is short lived as the sounds of “Lowlife Princess” by BIBI playing throughout the arena before the crowd starts booing very loudly as Miku Sakai enters the arena. She has a mildly crazed look in her eyes and might snap at a moment’s notice as she heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen! At this time, please welcome… MIKU SAKAI!
Gavin Kirkland: You know what? Miku Sakai might be at the point of her sanity running on empty, but she is still completely gorgeous. I hate to see her so angry like this.
Eve: You might think she’s gorgeous, but this woman is a completely dangerous nutcase. There’s a reason why she is referred to as the “Enemy of the People”. Regardless, Miku Sakai could be on her way to Pain for Pride if Fighting Spirit goes her way.
Deadprez: She certainly could be if things go her way next week as she is one of the six participants in the special No Way Out match where the winner of the match becomes the Number One Contender for the Universal Women’s Championship at Pain for Pride.
Eve: For all our sakes, we better hope that Miku Sakai wins because if she loses, we might be witnessing an Elitist going into a sub-psychotic rampage. Be that as it may, she is coming to the ring and she no doubt has something on her mind. Let’s hear what she has to say.
(Miku walks by the timekeeper’s table and grabs a microphone before she glares at Gina Romano. Miku then rolls into the ring and glares at the crowd that is still booing her. Seconds later, Miku’s music fades off and the crowd is still booing her. The crowd finally dies down with the jeers and Miku starts to speak.)
Miku Sakai: I am to the point where I am so sick and so tired of all this fucking bullshit that has been going on with me recently. I think it is safe to say that I am completely sick of it. I am fed up with it and I have HAD IT!!
Miku Sakai: Match after match after match this season I have been fucked over by one thing or another and I am sick of it. I have played along with this bullshit for far too fucking long. Watching all these other dumbasses undeservingly getting moments and title opportunities that should easily belong to ME!!
Miku Sakai: Yeah I hear all you dumb motherfuckers booing me and that’s because none of you can handle the fucking truth and that truth is that I am the best thing Showdown has to offer and the fact that I am still not holding gold really pisses me off.
Miku Sakai: But I plan on rectifying that VERY soon. Because at Fighting Spirit, I plan on getting exactly what I deserve and that is my title match at Pain for Pride and there isn’t a damn thing that any of you lightbulb sucking whores can do about it.

Deadprez: Oh this is going to be good. Here comes KASAI! KASAI is one of three former Specialists Champions who are in the No Way Out match and KASAI has been looking for her next taste of Championship gold. This match could be KASAI’s opportunity to get her way to a World Championship match on the biggest stage of them all.
(KASAI enters the ring and gets right in Miku’s face as her entrance music fades off. Miku is looking at KASAI wondering how she found the audacity to come out and interrupt her.)
Miku Sakai: WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU–
KASAI: SHUT UP! Nobody wants to hear you talk considering how much of a crazy psycho bitch you are sounding like right now.
Miku Sakai: How dare you, bitch! You don’t know what I have been going through! I DESERVE TO WIN THIS MATCH!!
KASAI: Stop making yourself sound like you are the only one who has had to deal with bumps in the road, but unlike you, I am not bitching about it. I am doing something about it. If you haven’t watched Voltage, you would have seen that I actually WON my Preview Match.
KASAI: I have also defeated a former World Champion in Adam Lucas. If momentum says anything, there is not a damn thing anybody in this match is going to do to stop me. Like yourself, I am also a former Specialists Champion. But the biggest difference will be the fact that I am going to win this match and go onto Pain for Pride.
(After KASAI finishes speaking, “Judas” by Lady Gaga starts to play as Dynasty’s Holly Arrow enters the arena, also to cheers from the crowd. She shares the same look KASAI did as she heads to the ring.)
Eve: Speaking of No Way Out, here is Holly Arrow! Holly is a former Tag Team Champion and Holly has been chomping at the bit to get her first taste of singles gold. Winning at Fighting Spirit could get Holly closer to the singles gold that she desires.
(Holly enters the ring and takes a look at KASAI before going right over and also getting in Miku’s face as she now begins to speak.)
Holly Arrow: Miku, I think I agree with a lot of people in saying that we are sick and tired of hearing you run your damn mouth. You sound like a big damn crybaby.
Miku Sakai: How in the hell do you get to talk to me like that? THIS IS MY MATCH!
Holly Arrow: You are lucky that it’s just talking that I am doing right now because after what happened on Dynasty, I should knock your teeth out of your mouth. But there will be plenty of time for that.
Holly Arrow: You are not that special, Miku. What you are going through right now is a tale as old as time for me. I am so tired of doing this same song and dance time and time again. I am banking on Fighting Spirit being different for me. I am getting that big time victory that has eluded me for a very long time. It’s time to haul ass and take this season into turbo drive.
(Now we hear ‘Let Me Hear’ by Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas playing throughout the arena as Saori Aizen enters the arena. Also with a microphone, she looks ready to fight as she heads to the ring.)
Deadprez: Now we have another Dynasty Elitist in Saori Aizen. Recently, Saori has been teaming with Daniella Atlas. Now that Pain for Pride is on the horizon, she is looking to be the solo star that she wants to be with a huge victory next week.

Saori Aizen: Just shut up, Miku. I think that all of us have had the same story going into the No Way Out match. Unlike the rest of you, I don’t have a list of huge event victories like many of you do. I have yet to hold my first title here, but I plan on changing all of that next week as I get the biggest victory of my career thus far until I get the real biggest victory of my career as I win the Universal Women’s Championship for myself!!
(‘Vortex’ by Jinjer now starts playing throughout the arena as the crowd reacts to the appearance of the dangerous Danielle Atlas who doesn’t look like she wants to play games as she heads to the ring.)
Eve: OHHHHHHH. Now things are starting to get interesting because here comes the dangerous Daniella Atlas. Many already consider her a future Universal Women’s Champion, but will she be able to fulfill that prophecy by winning one more chance at the title in the No Way Out match?
(Daniella enters the rings and looks all around as Miku is getting angrier by the second as all the No Way Out competitors keep coming out to the ring.)
Daniella Atlas: Don’t say a damn word, Miku. I don’t care how pissed off you are. You started this. At Fighting Spirit, I am going to end all of this. I had a chance this season to dethrone the longest reigning Universal Women’s Champion in Milli Banks, but I lost that honor to Bea Valentine.
Daniella Atlas: All the mistakes I have made since losing the Specialists Championship will be rectified in the No Way Out match. I am destined for the respect and the honor that comes with being World Champion. Fighting Spirit will be just the beginning until I become Answers World Champion.
(‘Rhapsody in Pink’ by Stela Cole starts playing now as the crowd cheers for the entrance of the final No Way Out participant in Voltage’s Candice Blair. The crowd is cheering very loudly for her as she has a custom pink microphone in her hand as she heads to the ring.)

(Candice enters the ring with such regality and class as she finds a neutral part of the ring as her entrance music fades off.)

Candice Blair: Oh, Miku. I always had the suspicion that something crawled up your butt, but I wasn’t aware that it died up there. No wonder you act like such a bitch all the time.
Candice Blair: Anyways… all these trials and tribulations that everybody has been talking about? I have gone through this climb the longest. I have been working my ass off time and time again for YEARS!! Years of climbing. Years of trying. Years of failing and years of falling. (After Candice finishes speaking, tensions are starting to run hot and heavy as a few of the ladies in the ring look like they are ready to punch each other out. Seconds later, we see EAW officials running down to the ring to prevent a brawl from breaking out and that does not sit well with the fans who were hoping to see a fight.)

Eve: I know the Showdown faithful want to see all six of these ladies beat the hell out of each other, but they will just have to wait until Fighting Spirit to watch these six women go into battle even though all six women said their peace tonight.

Gavin Kirkland: What the hell did we just witness?! That was a straight-up WAR! In the blink of an eye, one single blink and Maverick struck with the Sin City Stunner and STOLE it!
Eve: Nikki Kimura had that match on a razor’s edge! But Cody Maverick pulled that final move out of his nowhere. That was instinct and like I said. It only takes one second, for Cody Maverick to retain.
(Cody kneels in the middle of the ring, chest heaving, eyes glazed over. The referee hands him his Championship and lifts his hand as his music plays. He slowly smiles, soaking in the reaction. He holds up the Championship with both hands, as the scene fades to black.)
(As Cody celebrates his victory, the camera shot cuts from the ringside area to the backstage area where we see Mikaela Street standing in front of a Showdown banner with a microphone in her hand and a smile on her face as she begins to speak.)
Mikaela Street: Holy wow. What a match we just witnessed between Cody Maverick and Nikki Kimura with the National Elite Championship on the line. It could have gone either way but Cody is victorious. He is still the National Elite Champion as we get closer to Pain for Pride.
Mikaela Street: Of course, that’s always the quality of match you expect to see from the Elitists of Showdown. Speaking of Showdown Elitists, joining me at this time is one of the most talented Elitists on Showdown.
Mikaela Street: Please welcome at this time… a representative of Silas World. Being joined by Silas Mason, here is Harper Lee!
(The crowd immediately starts booing after hearing the word “Silas” come out of Mikaela’s mouth. Seconds later, the crowd in the background starts booing even louder when they see Harper Lee come into the scene with Silas Mason. Harper doesn’t look amused and neither does Silas as Mikaela speaks up again.)
Mikaela Street: Silas. Harper. Thank you for joining me.
Harper Lee: Of course. It’s about time that you interviewed someone with some class and dignity. You finally came to the right place when you asked a member of Silas World to be the subject of your interview. Why did it take you so long to ask Silas World to be interviewed?
Mikaela Street: Umm…. Well…. You see….
Harper Lee: You know what? It’s not important right now. All that matters is that you have me now and the quality of the interview immediately went up at least five levels.
Mikaela Street: Duly noted. Anyways, let’s get start–
(Mikaela gets cut off once again by Harper as she pulls the microphone back towards her and continues to speak.)
Harper Lee: Yeah before we get this interview started, let me correct you on something that you said a few moments ago.
Mikaela Street: What did I say that was wrong?
Harper Lee: It wasn’t necessarily what you said that was wrong, it was more of the way you said it.
Mikaela Street: What do you mean?
Harper Lee: I am talking about the gushing you were doing about the match that just finished moments ago. What a match between Nikki and Cody! Oh please. You are making it sound like it was the best match of the year. Let me tell you that the best match of the year includes at least one member of Silas World because a member of Silas World in a match immediately takes it up one level in quality. Isn’t that right, Silas?
(Harper turns to Silas, who simply nods in agreement. Seconds later, she turns back towards Mikaela and pats her on the shoulder.)
Harper Lee: You get what I mean?
Mikaela Street: Understood. Anyways, are we good to start this interview?
Harper Lee: Yeah. Sure. Go ahead. I don’t know why you have been waiting so long in the first place.
Mikaela Street: Alright then…. Anyways, before you appeared, I was talking about the road to Pain for Pride. I was wondering what the road for Pain for Pride has in store for Harper Lee?
Harper Lee: I can tell you right now that my road to Pain for Pride is the same now as it has always been and that is becoming a champion once again. Not a hard concept to comprehend, Mikaela.
Mikaela Street: Very true, so is there any specific championship you have in mind that you want to challenge for at Pain for Pride.
Harper Lee: Well I would have loved to have been the one to challenge for the Answers World Championship at Pain for Pride, but I wasn’t asked or given the opportunity to even be part of the qualifying matches….
(Harper turns and looks at the camera and glares before she continues to speak.)
Harper Lee: Even though I believe I am still owed a one on one World Championship match because my solo title match was taken away from me and the fact that myself and Donovan at Pain for Pride would have been the best match in Pain for Pride history.
(The crowd is once again booing at Harper’s statement and Harper must be able to hear the crowd as she rolls her eyes. Silas whisper something in Harper’s ear before she nods and continues speaking.)
Harper Lee: But it is what it is. It can’t be helped now. Just because the Answers World Championship is out of the question right now doesn’t mean I don’t have another option on my mind.
Mikaela Street: What is your other option?
Harper Lee: You see, Mikeala—
(Harper is cut off from her thoughts as we see Cody Maverick walking in from the ringside area after his successful title defense. Cody walks by the interview, but he is quickly stopped by Harper, who has stepped in front of him and stops him in his tracks. Cody does not look to be in the mood to talk to Harper as he adjusts the National Elite Championship on his shoulder.)
Cody Maverick: What the hell do you want?
Harper Lee: Oh, Cody. There is no need to be so hateful. I’ll tell you what I want. I want….
(Harper Lee stops talking long enough to tap the National Elite Championship belt on Cody’s shoulder as she smiles.)
Harper Lee: This!
Cody Maverick: What?
Harper Lee: Keep up, nitwit. I want a shot… against you… for the National Elite Championship… AT PAIN FOR PRIDE!
Cody Maverick: You do, do you?
Harper Lee: Of course I do! Listen closely. I want to become Champion at Pain for Pride and this is the title I have in my sights.
Cody Maverick: Why? So you can stop being part of Silas World without a title on your shoulder again. What’s to say that dumb bald bastard won’t drop you if you finish the season empty handed.
(Silas looks like he wants to say something, and he tries to step up, but Harper puts her arm out as she glares at Cody.)
Harper Lee: Don’t get cute because you really don’t know what you are talking about.
Cody Maverick: I don’t?
Harper Lee: No. You don’t.
Cody Maverick: Yeah I actually think I do because all Silas World has been doing is being pains in the ass while causing as much trouble and chaos as you all possibly can.
Cody Maverick: I am so sick of seeing the same shit week in and week out. The last thing I want to see happen is that the National Elite Championship suffers the same fate as the Answers World Championship by falling into the clutches of Silas World.
Cody Maverick: But I am also a fighting champion who is ready to defend his Championship against anybody and everybody who steps up to the plate to try and dethrone me. So you want to challenge me for the National Elite Championship at Pain for Pride?
Harper Lee: Yes. I do. How hard is that for you people to comprehend?
(Cody looks at Harper for a moment in silence before Cody takes a breath and speaks up.)
Cody Maverick: Fine.
Harper Lee: Fine?
Cody Maverick: Fine! You want a match against me so badly, you’ve got it. You have your match for the National Elite Championship!
(The crowd starts cheering in the background now as the challenge has been accepted because they really want to see Cody tear Harper apart. Harper and Cody look at each other in silence for a brief moment before he steps aside and walks away. Harper looks on in the direction that Cody left and has a smile on her face.)
Harper Lee: I’ll see you at Pain for Pride. Just make sure to keep that title nice and clean for me.
(Harper still has the smile on her face as Silas comes and taps Harper on the shoulder. He motions to Harper to leave before they leave in the opposite direction of Cody, leaving Mikaela by herself to finish the interview.)
Mikaela Street: Well that certainly took an unexpected turn, but there you have it. We start with an interview and leave with a match being made official. Harper Lee made the challenge and Cody Maverick has accepted. It’s going to be Harper Lee against Cody Maverick with the Nation Elite Championship on the line at Pain for Pride. What a match that is going to be!!
Mikaela Street: Well coming up next is our tag team main event. Partners collide as TLA and Jon Kelton take on Ryan Joseph Wilson and Bronson Daniels. What a match that will be coming up next.
(The final shot shows Mikaela with a smile on her face as the camera shot fades to commercial break.)
(Showdown returns from a commercial break with Gina Romano standing at the center of the ring as she gets ready to announce the main event. She smiles at the camera first then proceeds to make the announcement.)
Gina Romano: YOUR MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL AND IT’S A FIGHTING SPIRIT PREVIEW!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Ole’ by The Bouncing Souls hits the arena speakers first as Ryan Joseph Wilson comes out, looking very frustrated about the situation he has to deal with. He lets out a grumpy sigh, but things get even worse for his mental state when ‘My War’ by Shinsei Kamattechan replaces his theme song before he even makes it halfway through his entrance. Wilson looks back and sees Bronson coming out, receiving a huge cheer. Bronson pretends to enjoy the crowd tonight, completely ignoring Ryan as he makes his entrance toward the ring, leaving Ryan visibly disgusted by his attitude but still, Ryan holds back and simply continues making his entrance alone toward the ring.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST!… THE TEAM OF!…. RYAN JOSEPH WILSON AND BRONSON DANIELS!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Well, not exactly a likable force that’s going to work well with each other. We’ve been seeing these two throwing tantrums at one another recently, so how is this team going to play out? That’s what makes this main event so interesting to find out.
Eve: We’ve seen what Ryan did to Bronson last week, and Bronson Daniels’ perception toward this man is tense as well. They aren’t going to work together well, but we have to find out if the odds play in their favor.
Deadprez: Wilson has been in a bad mood as of late, and he hasn’t been happy around anyone. He’s been as serious as ever, and this might be mentally challenging for him to proceed with someone he just dealt with last week, now teaming up with each other.
(‘Ambitionz az a Ridah’ by Tupac now plays as TLA walks out, locked in for the match, but he takes a moment to pause as ‘Lost In The World’ by Kanye West follows right after. TLA doesn’t react much to Kelton’s entrance as Kelton makes his way out, looking at TLA for a second, still doubting a lot of things about him here. TLA continues to make his entrance toward the ring like nothing happened, while Kelton takes a careful step following behind him.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING THEIR OPPONENTS!… THE TEAM OF!… TLA AND JON KELTON!!!!!!
Eve: You might be able to call this the veteran collaboration, since these two have fairly been around in this company for quite a while. But Kelton has taken so much time off, and that makes him catching up to the others so late.
Deadprez: Whatever this team is, I don’t think they’re going to work well together. We already saw the issues between Elysium and Hustle Alive, and that doesn’t make TLA’s reputation in this match look clean to Kelton and Bronson. They’re both seeing through TLA, but TLA is going to try to safeguard it soon.
(DING DING DING!)
Gavin Kirkland: Very interesting matchup to have under the Can We Co-Exist content. How is this going to play out anyway? Are these two facing each other even be able to go up against one another? That’s why we have to find out!
Deadprez: Ah man, this is going to be big trouble for both sides. Ryan is definitely not going to work with the guy he blasted with a fire extinguisher!
Eve: That’s why this is a MUST situation to make work if he still cares about his own interests here. Ryan must push through the hardship right now to fight, and at this moment, he’s coming in as the legal man of the match to face… Jon Kelton.
Gavin Kirkland: Luckily for this man, this is a start for him to be able to cooperate with something that fits perfectly, and now Ryan is looking to take an approach-

Deadprez: What the hell?
Gavin Kirkland: Oh, interesting turn of events here! We’re suddenly getting Elysium vs. Elysium!
(Bronson looks confused as Ryan tags him in when he was supposed to be the one fighting. Ryan then turns back around toward Bronson with a furious expression and speaks to him in a serious tone.)
Ryan Joseph Wilson: (Off-Mic) You know him so well, don’t you? Why don’t you fight him and beat him at his own game? How about you do both of us a favor and take on your “brother”?
Gavin Kirkland: Well, you know what? That’s true. Bronson has no excuse to make up for himself, and now he’s entering the ring. Jon Kelton is standing tall, toe to toe with Bronson Daniels! They are staring eye to eye, are they really about to fight each other?!
(Both Bronson Daniels and Jon Kelton are visibly hesitant about what they are going to do. Their hands are shaking. Bronson takes a step forward to make an approach first… but he can’t. He holds back as if he’s having an anxiety attack, while Kelton is acting almost the same.)
Deadprez: What are these two waiting for? Fight! We would love to see this clash of chemistry after everything they have developed with each other over the past few months since the formation of Elysium!
Eve: The thing is, they can’t. They care about each other so much that hurting one another would feel like a crime and a sin they would punish themselves for. We have seen the development during the Championship Scramble match. We have seen the brotherly love on full display and what it truly looks like!
Gavin Kirkland: There has to be a way, right?
(Finally, Bronson pulls himself together and walks up to Kelton who raises his eyes toward him.)
Gavin Kirkland: Bronson-
(SLAP!)
Gavin Kirkland: OH!!!!
(Bronson is seen panting after delivering that hard slap across the face of Jon Kelton. Kelton is stunned, holding his face and rubbing it with a shocked expression as he looks up at his brother who just scorched him with that one slap.)
Bronson Daniels: (Off-Mic) HIT ME LIKE I JUST HIT YOU IF YOU ARE MAN ENOUGH, KELTON! You want to show everyone who you really are, right? The stage is yours; hit me with your BEST SHOT!-
Gavin Kirkland: OH AND HERE WE GO, THE FIRST INTERACTION OF THIS MATCH HAS FINALLY BEEN ENGAGED! KELTON DELIVERS A QUICK RIGHT HAND TO HIS OWN PARTNER WITH BRONSON DANIELS REPLYING WITH ONE OF HIS OWN, AND NOW THEY ARE TURNING THIS INTO A FULL ON FISTFIGHT AGAINST EACH OTHER!!!!!
Eve: We are seeing things switch up real quick here, with Kelton going under and carrying Bronson underneath his shoulder, driving him into the corner turnbuckles! Now he is repeatedly striking him with shoulder thrusts to create more opportunities for offense to land against him further!
Deadprez: Damn, finally some wrestling action to watch! Bronson is now hurt in the corner by his own partner, being dragged out by Kelton who is gaining momentum and pressing him back into the corner with another shoulder thrust to the gut!
Gavin Kirkland: Daniels is stuck in the corner as Kelton begins pressing his right foot against the front of his brother’s neck, trying to suffocate him! This might get out of hand! The referee has to step in!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!…
Eve: And Kelton has released his foot from his brother’s neck to deliver a right hand that sends him reeling! Kelton now seizes the wrist of Bronson Daniels yet again, this time trying to throw him into the opposite corner!
Gavin Kirkland: Irish Whip has been applied perfectly with Bronson placed in the corner. Kelton is making the turn, looking to make his next move count but Bronson slips out of the middle turnbuckle, flipping over the back of Jon Kelton and escaping from the corner!
Eve: Kelton almost finds himself colliding into the steel post through the turnbuckles, quickly turning back to Bronson who runs toward him for the Falling Elbow! BUT IT’S TOO LATE AS KELTON GETS KNOCKED LOOSE BY THE FALLING ELBOW SMASH!!!!
Deadprez: Now beginning to slow the pace of this match here, Bronson is delivering some Muay Thai knees, applying intentional technique against Jon Kelton and using those knees to jam into Kelton’s gut, creating an air of pressure around him and further pressing him in the corner where he’s been trapped! Kelton started off this attack by suffocating him, and now it’s Bronson’s turn to take control!
Gavin Kirkland: His partner is eventually stuck at the corner with those knees delivered perfectly, and now Bronson is walking backward out of the corner slowly, taking aim. Daniels is looking to line up his shot, and now runs toward the corner where Kelton is standing… WITH A PUMP KICK CONNECTING ACROSS HIS JAW AS HE CHARGES IN SENDING KELTON CRASHING DOWN IN THE CORNER!!!!!
Eve: The pressure and damage done behind that running kick must be carrying a lot in them down there, and surely Bronson meant to hit that shot perfectly for Jon Kelton. Kelton is withering from the boot that precisely connected with him, and now Bronson is tossing him out of the corner.
Gavin Kirkland: Bronson goes up to the second rope and quickly waits for Kelton to turn around, and now hopping up to the top… COMES CRASHING DOWN WITH THE DIVING METEORA TAKING DOWN KELTON TO THE CANVAS!!!!!!!
Deadprez: Daniels now might be trying to show off who’s the better Elysium member here. From refusing to fight, now he’s going to push Kelton and himself, proving something instead and showing the Hustle Alliance that the brotherly love means something to them, and they are something their opponents should beware of and take notes.
Eve: Kelton is now being dragged to his feet with Bronson coming over and getting him alongside with him together. As you can see it in Bronson’s face, he’s pretty disappointed with what he’s looking at.
Bronson Daniels: (Off-Mic) THE FIGHT IS ONLY GETTING STARTED! WHAT IS THIS WEAK SHIT I’M GETTING FROM YOU!?!??!? I NEED YOUR SPIRIT, BROTHER! YOU ARE NOT SHOWING IT, AND THIS IS WHY WE ALWAYS LOSE-
Gavin Kirkland: Oh, Kelton delivering the kick suddenly to his gut!… TWIST OF FATE DRIVES BRONSON TO THE GROUND! Kelton has taken the moment that Bronson’s focus has been caught off guard and sends him to the ground with driving impact!
Eve: Kelton has snatched that advantage away from Bronson all of a sudden and is now ready to fight back.
Jon Kelton: (Off-Mic) Quit doing all that pep talk and hit me as hard as you did the first time!
Deadprez: Wise words from Kelton here as Bronson is seen prone on the ground after the sudden attack. Kelton is turning back and running all the way up to the second rope and quickly flying off down… KELTON FLIES OFF LOOKING FOR THE QUICK LIONSAULT ON BRONSON DANIELS!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Woah, and Bronson is still capable of moving out of the way just in time to avoid the Lionsault that was coming down toward him! Kelton got to his feet and ran to try to approach, but Bronson stops him on the way with a quick European uppercut that hits him in the jaw!
Eve: Now Bronson takes a turn and runs off the ropes… AND KELTON RESPONDS BY SWINGING THE CLOTHESLINE AT HIM!!!!! Bronson is stumbling to his feet from the striking impact of the clothesline and trying to respond. Kelton is swinging with his own, but Kelton avoids it again and goes for the waistlock from behind!… RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX DRIVES BRONSON TO THE CANVAS!!!!!!
Deadprez: WOW! Kelton has been on a roll since he reawakened, and now he’s looking to move forward to destroy Bronson Daniels here. Kelton is prepared quickly at the corner and could be aiming to finish this off right off the bat with Final Atonement immediately!

Gavin Kirkland: TLA has made a tag and now he’s entering the ring-
(Kelton who is absolutely not okay with what just happened seizing TLA by the shoulders to turn him around face to face and starts yelling at him while pointing in his face.)
Jon Kelton: (Off-Mic) Hey man, what is this? You can’t just tag me whenever you want and get into the ring all of a sudden! I’m trying to work hard for us here, and you are causing a disruption!
TLA: (Off-Mic) *chuckles* Dayum, you call that working hard? I thought this was all staged and y’all just trying to convince me wrestling’s fake. I appreciate the little romance drama you two got going on. Esto fue divertido y todos disfrutamos viendolo but here on Showdown, WE WRESTLE! Let me feast real quick and handle this for you, homie.
(TLA turns around, trying to approach Bronson who is almost fully recovered, but Kelton grabs his shoulder. Tightly.)
Jon Kelton: (Off-Mic) Hey. I’m not done talking.

Jon Kelton: (Off-Mic) HEY!
Gavin Kirkland: OH!!! TLA WAS TURNING AROUND, AND BRONSON HAD HIS TIMELY ADVANTAGE TAKEN AWAY BY KELTON, WHO TRIED TO DROPKICK HIM. BUT THAT DROPKICK ENDED UP HITTING KELTON INSTEAD, WHO WAS BEHIND TLA AS HE MOVED OUT OF THE WAY, SENDING KELTON CRASHING INTO THE CORNER AND ROLLING TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING!!!!!!
Eve: Not a good move here, and Bronson might end up regretting it, because he wasn’t supposed to hit that. Bronson doesn’t have much time to process it either, already fully pissed with the situation unfolding before him.
Gavin Kirkland: Daniels tries to approach TLA, but TLA suddenly leaps onto his shoulders and quickly sends Bronson crashing to the ground with the impact of a Headscissors Takedown right away!

Eve: Elysium is confused. TLA is very confused and shocked, in absolute disbelief. This Fighting Spirit preview in this one has been so intense and we might have just witnessed the biggest turning point of the battle yet!
Deadprez: I still couldn’t believe that I just watched Ryan Joseph Wilson pin TLA like that and steal the win for the team. We might have seen something we didn’t expect from Ryan Joseph Wilson, and he’s looking to prove everyone wrong… but will the outcome turn out the same as Showdown’s main event tonight? (We have returned from commercial break for the final time this evening as the camera shot is focused on the currently empty ring. Seconds later, we hear the sounds of “It Ain’t Safe” by Skepta playing throughout the arena before the cheers in the arena start getting louder with the entrance of Charlie Marr. He has a strictly business look on his face as he heads right to the ring.)

Deadprez: Listen to the ovation for Charlie Marr. Normally, Charlie isn’t exactly the most popular member of the EAW Family, but considering who Charlie is facing next week, it isn’t hard to find out who the fan favorite is in this situation.
Gavin Kirkland: I think it’s just because he’s jealous. Jealous of the fact that when he was World Champion last year, he just doesn’t measure up to the level of skill and talent that our current Answers World Champion has.
Eve: Are you insane? Charlie isn’t jealous! He’s pissed that he lost months of his career thanks to a then unknown masked assailant in Ronan Malosi. He wants to send Silas World into a tailspin. He wants to rip Ronan Malosi apart, but before that, he wants to take the Answers World Championship away from the face of Silas World.
Deadprez: Many are hoping, including myself, that next week at Fighting Spirit that Charlie Marr is the one who is able to take the Answers World Championship out of the clutches of Donovan Duke. Right now, let’s hear from the challenger, Charlie Marr.
(Charlie grabs a microphone from Gina Romano before he rolls into the ring. He stands front and center as he waits for the crowd to die down. Seconds later, the crowd calms and his entrance music fades off before he begins to speak.)

(Charlie doesn’t even get the sentence out as he is immediately interrupted by “Enemy” by From Ashes to New playing throughout the arena. Whatever love there was for Charlie is completely gone as the arena goes cold and the crowd goes even colder as they boo the entrance of the Answers World Champion, Donovan Duke. Donovan must be expecting something as he is not in his usual high dollar suit. He is in jeans and a Silas World shirt, but still wearing his sunglasses with the Answers World Championship around his waist.)
Gavin Kirkland: Charlie didn’t have to ask, but he certainly received the presence of the Answers World Champion, Donovan. The Debonair One normally is dressed to the nines, but he’s not dressed for show, he’s dressed to go.
Eve: He’s egotistical. He’s arrogant. He’s a little crazy, but even though we all are disgusted with his metamorphosis since Road to Redemption, if we can give him anything….
Deadprez: Please don’t. We don’t need to give him any credit at all.
Eve: But he has been able to defy the odds thrown his way and keep the Answers World Championship around his waist by any means necessary. Will next week at Fighting Spirit spell the same tale for the Champion?
Deadprez: I have already made my case known, dawg. I hope Charlie Marr takes the title away, but even I can acknowledge that Donovan Duke always brings the fight. Donovan Duke: So I am just going to go ahead and take whatever the hell this is and turn it in the right direction because nobody wants to hear you talk.

(The crowd cheers loudly at Charlie using the Duke of Wankers reference from Grand Rampage. Donovan doesn’t look amused as he gives Charlie a sarcastic round of applause.)
Charlie Marr: Ever since I lost the EAW World Championship to that idiot Jake Smith, I have one and only one mission on my mind and that is climbing right back up and becoming World Champion again. This season, nobody was going to forget about me as I was going to annihilate everybody that stood in my way.
Charlie Marr: This season was already off to a good start. Including a huge achievement of leading Showdown to its first EVER Brand Warfare victory… even if the team included that dumb bastard standing in the corner.
Charlie Marr: But just as things were getting really good. I was no doubt on my way to becoming a contender for the Answers World Championship. That’s right, Duke. I was on my way to facing YOU… everything was being taken away from me.
Charlie Marr: First, Veena was taken out of action due to the horrible injury she received at Road to Redemption. Then I was taken out of action by that dumb piece of shit Ronan Malosi when he was walking around as that Masked Idiot.
Charlie Marr: So coming back and screwing Ronan and Harper Lee out of the victory at Grand Rampage was just the beginning. The easiest way to get my revenge was to win the Grand Rampage and just challenge at Pain for Pride, but that didn’t happen.
Charlie Marr: What happened later might have been even better. Kennedy Street was looking for a person to challenge Donovan Duke for the Answers World Championship and since she was proud of the work I did to help at Grand Rampage, she offered me a chance at the Answers World Championship at Fighting Spirit.
(Charlie looks over and gives Donovan a shit eating smirk before he continues to speak.)
Charlie Marr: Don’t worry, Donovan. Ronan Malosi will get what’s coming to him, but first, I am coming after you. I might have had my journey slowed by a few months thanks to him, but it isn’t stopping me now from becoming Champion next week. It isn’t stopping me from beating the hell out of you and taking you down for good by taking the Answers World Championship from some man who is a nobody and returning it to somebody who deserves more than you ever will.
(The crowd is chanting for Charlie with the conviction he has in his voice… but Donovan doesn’t look too amused. Donovan leans off the turnbuckles and walks back over to Charlie.)

(Charlie doesn’t say a word, but he nods his head in the affirmative as he continues to glare at Donovan.)
Donovan Duke: It’s about fucking time because I was getting so damn bored listening to you drone on and on about your journey and about how you are going to be the next champion. Do you know how many times I have heard about somebody else’s journey? Enough that it seems like I have seen the entire world thanks to all these damn journeys.
Donovan Duke: Look, it’s cute and sweet and all that other bullshit about how you want to return from your injury and become World Champion again, but there is just one little problem with that.
(Charlie raises his microphone to speak, but he is quickly cut off by Donovan.)

Donovan Duke: After that, I am walking right into Pain for Pride as the Answers World Champion as I get the first Pain for Pride main event of my career. Then after I win there, I send this World Title reign into immortality and you sure as fuck aren’t going to be the one to ruin it.
