(The scene opens with Tyrone Montgomery sitting at a desk with a smile on his face as he is riding off of the high from the successful Dynasty Supershow: Poor Unfortunate Souls.)
Tyrone Montgomery: Good evening folks! Last night we had an incredible show setting the tone for the next few weeks where both Voltage and Showdown will surely have a tough act to follow with their respective shows. I expect nothing less than them to put forth their best efforts and deliver amazing shows themselves though. That’s the beauty of it, we are in such a competitive time right now in EAW with Territorial Invasion on the horizon. Teams are being formed, temporary and maybe even permanent alliances are being made, all in the name of brand warfare. Speaking of which, Limmy Monaghan officially named his teammates for Anarchy in the Arena and I fully trust his judgement and know that it will pay off with the two rising and promising elitists he has decided to bring alongside him for the ride. But the Territorial Invasion announcements don’t stop there.
Tyrone Montgomery: Before the cameras began rolling I was actually in the middle of an important phone call with my boss, the CEO of Disney Bob Chapek! He happened to be playing golf with his business partner who happens to be the chairman of this very company, Mr. DEDEDE. He wanted to relay a message on his behalf. As you all know Mr. DEDEDE is also the husband of Kassidy Heart, who made her way to Dynasty last night and made her thoughts on Serena Bennett known. A match was made between the two ladies at Territorial Invasion, but Mr. DEDEDE thinks it would be best to up the ante and hell, who am I to disagree? We agreed that it’d be best to keep this as a fair one-on-one bout leaving it to the best woman to win. That means, in order to prevent any outside interference or any other screwy business, we have decided to make this match a Steel Cage match!
(The excitement on Tyrone’s face as he delivers this big announcement is very visible as he continues)
Tyrone Montgomery: The first time these two ladies faced off three years ago lead to an instant classic, a match of the year winner and one of the greatest matches in EAW history, not just on the women’s side, but OVERALL. That is why it’s only right to up the stakes in the rematch and top what they did before. I look forward to seeing how it all plays out, good luck to both ladies.
