(EAW intro plays)
(Showdown opens up with a recap of Territorial Invasion from Showdown’s side. TLA successfully defends his Answers World Championship against Ruler, Ryan Wilson and Harper Lee. Charlie Marr, Cody Maverick, Jon Kelton, Donovan Duke and SOSA Henderson are able to win Brand Warfare. The Jaded Hearts are able to successfully defend the Unified Tag Team Championships against Fire and Ice. And finally, Milli Banks, Bronson Daniels and Veena Adams win Wargames for Showdown.)
(The recap ends, and it is replaced with the song “Brick Wall” by a Day to Remember, as the camera pans around the inside of the Wukesong Arena in Beijing, China. For a special occasion, deep blue fireworks are shooting out of the stage and the whole crowd can be seen cheering and being excited for the show. The camera ends up panning over to the commentary table with Deadprez, Eve and Gavin Kirkland as the commentators start talking.)
Eve: WELCOME EVERYONE… TO SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN!
Gavin Kirkland: SHOWDOWN! SHOWDOWN! SHOWDOWN! SHOWDOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!
Deadprez: WE ARE COMING OFF AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE AT TERRITORIAL INVASION! After many years, Showdown was able to win not only Brand Warfare, it was able to win Wargames as well for the FIRST time! And honestly, everyone right now is just in an incredibly lovely and excited mood!
Eve: And tonight, we have so much time to celebrate, but also, we can’t forget about the matches! We see Raeangel Guzman go up against Anna May, Nikki Kimura go against Brianna Hill, as well as Ruler against Luis de la Rosa!
Deadprez: We also have Mr. CITV Donovan Duke go against Roberto de la Rosa, and in the main event, we see Ryan Wilson go up against Cody Maverick himself!
Gavin Kirkland: BLAH BLAH BLAH! THAT IS THE BORING PART! RIGHT NOW WE GOTTA CELEBRATE! LET’S GOOO!
(The camera switches to the ring where there are balloons, confetti, streamers while the entire roster of Showdown stand at the top of the rampway and into the entranceway. In the middle of the ring it is Kennedy Street, with her are Team Brand Warfare and Team War Games, all eight members of the roster are in the ring as they are all proud of the accomplishment of winning at Territorial Invasion for the first time. A proud Kennedy Street looks out as the crowd is up to their feet cheering.)
Kennedy Street: EAW UNIVERSE! WELCOME TO SHOWDOWN!
(The crowd roars in cheers as Kennedy smiles and is proud of her roster for what they did.)
Kennedy Street: What we witnessed was history! Jeny Punk couldn’t do it. Ryan Wilson couldn’t do it, though he is a member of my roster now. Hurricane Hawk couldn’t do it, and no one before that could do it…. But Kennedy Street did, honey! And it happened with this incredible roster that we have on Showdown because I knew that on Draft Day when I put together this roster, that this was going to be the best under my tenure as the General manager, and I am proud of what we did.
(Kennedy pauses for a second, before she turns back to the camera.)
Kennedy Street: Now, not everything was perfect. We didn’t get our hands on the Specialist Championship. We were not able to win the Tri-Brand Triple Threat, and we lost the Divide and Conquer match for a few reasons which is why there will be some repercussions due to some people going into business for themselves.
(The camera pans to show Auburn Ware who smirks.)
Kennedy Street: But I am not going to dwell on the negatives and instead concentrate on the positives. The great things that we did at Territorial Invasion, so first I will look at Team Brand Warfare. While Charlie Marr was eliminated first, his leadership and the ability to get this team together was the most valuable part because Charlie knew how important this match was to win. I look at Cody Maverick, a future champion, Donovan Duke who holds the Cash in the Vault and has been a part of this roster before. I then look at Jon Kelton, who has become a foundation here on Showdown and finally SOSA Henderson.
(SOSA has a huge smile on his face as the crowd gives a mixed reaction.)
Kennedy Street: Against ALL odds, SOSA Henderson goes out there and PINS both Team Captains at the same time! Bringing the FIRST win ever for Showdown! SOSA knew what was at stake, he did it for his own stock, for Showdown and he knows that everyone on both of these teams throughout the season WILL be rewarded for what they did by making history. Overall, all five of these Elitists put their first foot forward and did exactly what no one ever thought could happen after all of these years and that is to bring home the win for Brand Warfare.
(Kennedy shakes the hands of Charlie Marr, SOSA Henderson, Jon Kelton, Cody Maverick, and Donovan Duke. She then turns to Team War Games as the crowd gets louder. The beautiful Veena Adams has a huge smile on her face, Milli Banks looks like a million dollars and finally Bronson Daniels looks proud.)
Kennedy Street: Then we have Team War Games. I remember when I picked Veena Adams as the Team Captain, everyone questioned it. They thought that Kennie was crazy for not picking a former World Champion or Hall of Famer, and I could have gone that route, but instead I chose to pick someone that has grown on Showdown and has had her best years since coming here three seasons ago. I believed in Veena, even if her attitude and the words which come out of her mouth are derogatory toward me or this brand, because deep down inside she knows that her success here is in part to the chances I have opened for her and the way I run things.
(Veena just glares at her with a cocky smirk as Kennedy continues to talk.)
Kennedy Street: And my faith paid off, the gamble I took was the right one, because then it showed that she could take two of the most talented Elitists under one umbrella with philosophical differences by becoming ONE team, ONE unit and they showed that they can defeat anyone and let’s talk about that for a second, because they had Jake Smith, a former Answers World Champion and the current EAW World Champion, along with Michael Machina and Bea Valentine, on the other side too, New Eden, three hall of famers that have been at the top of this company for so long and were the favorites to win, but their own roster imploded and allowed them to lose at Territorial Invasion.
Kennedy Street: But that is no excuse, because Milli Banks, Bronson Daniels and Veena Adams were all ready to walk into that double cage and WIN! That is exactly what they did and I could not be anymore proud of them. So as Showdown starts tonight, I will give them all a chance to speak and really soak up what they did at Territorial Invasion, but for now, I would like to see a show of unity as we stand here WINNERS for the very first time at Territorial Invasion!
(As the crowd cheers, the fireworks start going off, the confetti and streamers starts to come down as the Showdown theme starts to play. Balloons are next to come down as we can see both teams in congratulatory mode, knowing that after today, it is back to business.)
Deadprez: A time for celebration! A time for unity at least for tonight! What an incredible time to be a part of Showdown! I can’t believe it Eve… WE WON!
Eve: We really did, and I am so happy to be a part of this brand! This was an incredible feat, and tonight is all about celebration!
Gavin Kirkland: I love Showdown! And Veena’s outfit tonight! We were the underdogs, and we won!
(The celebration continues in the ring as the camera fades to the first commercial break.)
(The camera returns to the ring where Gina Romano is standing front and center with a microphone as she is ready to begin the introductions for the first match of Showdown.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen! This is our OPENING CONTEST OF SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN AND IT IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(“Rich Girl” by Gwen Stefani starts to play as Anna May enters the arena for the first time in her EAW Career. She has the snobbish attitude that turns the fan reaction negative. She is ready for action as she heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing first and making her way to the ring! From Scarsdale, New York! Weighing in at 123 pounds! Making her ELITE ANSWERS WRESTLING DEBUT! Here is “HOTTIE-MAY” ANNA MAY!
Deadprez: What a way to kick off the action on Showdown than with a DEBUT! Anna May is heading to the ring for first taste of EAW action. I can’t wait to see what she brings to the table for this match.
Gavin Kirkland: Oh. I think I am going to like her on Showdown. She is a rich girl who is used to the finer things in life. Not only that, SHE WAS A FORMER ONLYFANS MODEL! YAY! I love a lady who is willing to bare it all for her craft.
Eve: You are sickening! But Anna May has said even though she has a past as a model, she is taking wrestling completely seriously and she has a tough task out of the gate with her first opponent.
(Anna enters the ring and takes her corner as her entrance music is replaced by “Tear Away” by Drowning Pool. Seconds later, we see Raeangel Guzman enter the arena to the sound of loud boos from the crowd as she is accompanied to the ring by La Familia. Raeangel has a no nonsense look on her face as she looks to La Familia and nods as they head to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing her opponent! Being accompanied to the ring by LA FAMILIA! From San Antonio, Texas! Weighing 120 pounds! Here is “EL OXÍGENO” RAEANGEL GUZMAN!
Gavin Kirkland: Who knew looking so bad looked so good. Raeangel Guzman is heading to the ring while being accompanied by La Familia. She is not in a very good mood after Territorial Invasion.
Eve: She was involved in a Triple Threat match for the Specialists Championship which was won by Dynasty’s Daniella Atlas after the referee deemed her unable to continue. She has been pissed ever since.
Deadprez: Raeangel didn’t get the win, but she certainly proved herself as a threat for the Specialists Championship in that match. Will Raeangel start her momentum up again with a victory or will it be the Rookie Anna May who comes out of the gate strong with a victory in her debut match? We are about to find out!
(Raeangel enters the ring and La Familia take their place at ringside as her entrance music fades off. Seconds later, the referee checks both competitors and they both look slightly disgusted as the referee calls for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Eve: Here we go. This match is underway. This is Anna’s first match in EAW and she really needs to have her guard up in this match considering that Guzman can be very devious.
Deadprez: But I can expect a lady who has got everything she ever wanted in life to have a few tricks up her sleeve. Guzman shouldn’t be too overconfident in this match. Both ladies go to lock up–
Gavin Kirkland: GUZMAN WITH A CHEAP KNEE TO THE RIBS THAT DOUBLES ANNA OVER! Guzman takes the early advantage as she just starts POUNDING AWAY ON ANNA’S BACK!
Deadprez: Anna was taken down to a knee and Guzman grabs a handful of hair AND JUST SNAPS HER BACK TO THE MAT! Anna is down and Guzman is there AND JUST STARTS POUNDING LEFTS AND RIGHTS INTO ANNA’S FACE!
Eve: Anna having trouble since the opening bell and the referee is telling Guzman to open the fists up on those punches to which Guzman opens up on four. Now Guzman is on her feet as she grabs a handful of Anna’s hair to bring her back to her feet.
Gavin Kirkland: The referee is telling Guzman to let go of the hair AND SHE CERTAINLY DOES AS SHE SLINGS ANNA LIKE A FRISBEE AND TOSSES HER ACROSS THE RING AS ANNA LANDS WITH A THUD!
Eve: Guzman has completely dominated this match since the opening bell and she is still not happy that she is not the Specialists Champion as she once again grabs Anna by the hair to bring her on her feet before whipping her to the ropes.
Deadprez: Anna rebounds AND GUZMAN GOES FOR A BIG BOOT THAT ANNA AVOIDS! Anna puts on the brakes and kicks Guzman in the gut and grabs her arm before running to the ropes–
Gavin Kirkland: ANNA JUMPS ON THE SECOND ROPE AND USES IT AS A SPRINGBOARD BEFORE SHE TAKES GUZMAN DOWN WITH THE SPRINGBOARD ARM DRAG! What a thing of beauty… the arm drag was good too.
Eve: Of course you would! Guzman was taken by surprise with that move as she gets back to her feet and gets right in Anna’s face BEFORE ANNA JUST SLAPS GUZMAN ACROSS THE FACE!
Deadprez: That was a show of no respect or no intimidation. Either way, Guzman didn’t like that one big as ANNA STARTS THROWING FOREARMS IN THE FACE OF GUZMAN!
Gavin Kirkland: Guzman is backed into the ropes AS ANNA DELIVERS A BOOT THAT SENDS GUZMAN THROUGH THE ROPES AND ONTO THE APRON! Anna grabs Guzman by the hair to bring her on her feet.
Deadprez: Anna now has Guzman by the neck AND IS TRYING TO LIFT HER BACK IN THE RING WITH A SUPLEX, BUT GUZMAN IS BLOCKING IT! Anna is trying the suplex again, BUT GUZMAN ONCE AGAIN BLOCKS BEFORE CATCHING ANNA WITH A COUPLE OF RIGHT HANDS TO THE HEAD!
Eve: Anna lets the suplex go and Guzman has another handful of Anna’s hair and walks her over to the corner AND SMASHES HER FACE INTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE!
Gavin Kirkland: Not just once, BUT AGAIN AND AGAIN! The referee is telling Guzman to get her out of the corner before beginning a count. The referee reaches four and Guzman finally lets her go so she doesn’t risk disqualification.
Eve: Anna is staggered back as Guzman makes her way to the top rope. She doesn’t waste a second finding her balance as Anna turns around AND GUZMAN COMES OFF THE TOP ROPE FOR A METEORA–
Deadprez: ANNA GETS OUT OF THE WAY AND GUZMAN GOES KNEES FIRST INTO THE MAT AND IT WAS NOT A GOOD LANDING! SHE MIGHT HAVE HURT HER KNEE WHEN SHE HIT THE MAT!
Gavin Kirkland: Guzman is trying to get off the mat and Anna grabs Guzman by the head to take advantage AND TAKES HER UP AND OVER WITH THE SNAP SUPLEX! Anna floats over–
Eve: ANNA HAS GUZMAN BY THE EARS AND IS JUST BOUNCING HER HEAD OFF THE MAT! OVER AND OVER AGAIN AS THE REFEREE STARTS A COUNT AGAINST ANNA!
Deadprez: Anna also lets go on four BUT ONLY FOR A MOMENT AS SHE STARTS TO CHOKE GUZMAN! Turnabout is fair play I guess and the referee is reprimanding Anna once again.
Gavin Kirkland: It would be a shame to get disqualified on your debut, but Anna has been able to control herself thus far as she once again has Guzman by the hair and pulls her to her feet.
Deadprez: Anna with a waistlock applied and she tries to lift her up for a German Suplex, BUT GUZMAN IS ABLE TO BLOCK IT! Anna tries again AND GUZMAN BLOCKS IT AGAIN–
Eve: GUZMAN WITH ELBOWS TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD UNTIL SHE IS ABLE TO GET FREE! Guzman quickly turns around and grabs hold of Anna AND PULLS HER OVER HER KNEE INTO THE BACKBREAKER!
Gavin Kirkland: Anna is trying to quickly recover off the backbreaker BUT GUZMAN IS RIGHT THERE WITH THE BICYCLE KNEE TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD TAKING ANNA DOWN!
Eve: Guzman is starting to build up some momentum here as she hits the ropes before rebounding AND DOING A ROLL BEFORE HITTING ANNA WITH THE ROLLING THUNDER! DIRECT HIT ON ANNA AS SHE PULLS ANNA AWAY FROM THE ROPES AND HOOKS THE LEG!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOO!
THHHHH–
Deadprez: ANNA GETS THE SHOULDER UP AFTER THE FIRST COVER OF THE MATCH! Guzman is keeping on the attack as she pulls Anna to her knees and readies herself for what looks to be a kick—
Gavin Kirkland: GUZMAN WENT FOR A BUZZSAW KICK TO THE HEAD AND ANNA GETS OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND! Anna quickly scrambles to her feet AND LEAPS OVER GUZMAN!
Eve: ANNA GOING FOR A SUNSET FLIP, BUT GUZMAN IS TRYING TO KEEP HER BALANCE! GUZMAN IS TRYING TO BLOCK THE SUNSET FLIP! WILL SHE STAY ON HER FEET–
Deadprez: SHE CAN’T! GUZMAN FALLS BACK AND IS TAKEN DOWN WITH THE SUNSET FLIP BY ANNA! ANNA STACKS GUZMAN UP FOR THE COVER!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOO
THHHHHHHH–
Gavin Kirkland: GUZMAN ROLLS THROUGH AND GETS THE SHOULDER UP AT TWO! Can you imagine if Guzman were to lose on somebody’s debut to a rollup? She would go ballistic!
Deadprez: It alomst happened as both ladies are back to their feet. Anna is back to her feet first AS SHE GOES FOR A BICYCLE KICK THAT GUZMAN BARELY AVOIDS!
Eve: Anna puts on the breaks and quickly tries to turn around BUT GUZMAN CATCHES ANNA WITH A SPINNING BACK CHOP TO THE CHEST! THAT COULD CERTAINLY STOP HER HEART!
Gavin Kirkland: Guzman seems to be playing for keeps as she grabs hold of Anna AND PULLS HER INTO A BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX! GOOD GRIEF!
Eve: Anna goes head over heels until Guzman grabs her again AND THIS TIME LIFTS HER UP AND PLANTS HER WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! Guzman keeps the action going as she finishes up WITH A SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX!
Deadprez: The “Raeangel’s Suplexes” combo was successful as Guzman keeps the bridge after the Snap Dragon suplex as the shoulders are down!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHH–
Gavin Kirkland: ANNA KICKS OUT AT TWO! Anna was able to roll through, BUT GUZMAN IS RIGHT THERE JUST POUNDING ON HER BACK TO KEEP HER DOWN ON THE MAT!
Eve: Give Anna some credit for continuing to fight back as she tries to get her way to the ropes to cause a break. Guzman is still blocking her majorly with the beatdown AND ANNA CATCHES GUZMAN WITH AN ELBOW TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD!
Deadprez: That stops the onslaught and Anna makes her way to the ropes and she rolls out onto the apron to try and catch a breather. But it might not last long as here comes Guzman.
Gavin Kirkland: Guzman grabs Anna by the hair and brings her to her feet AND LIFTS HER UP IN THE AIR FOR A SUPLEX, BUT ANNA MANAGES TO CHANGE MOMENTUM AND LAND ON HER FEET BEHIND GUZMAN!
Deadprez: Anna keeps her balance and grabs Guzman around her waist and bounces her towards the ropes AND SENDS HER BACK INTO A ROLLUP! SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!
Eve: GUZMAN CHANGES MOMENTUM BEFORE A COUNT CAN BE STARTED! THE ROLLUP WAS REVERSED AND NOW ANNA’S SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!
Gavin Kirkland: ANNA ALSO MANAGED TO GET HER SHOULDERS UP! Anna rolls onto her feet as Guzman gets on her feet AND ANNA JUST LAUNCHES HERSELF TO GUZMAN! ANNA IS LOOKING FOR A SPEAR–
Eve: GUZMAN MANAGES TO GET OUT OF THE WAY! Anna keeps running until she reaches the ropes. Anna with the rebound AND SHE LOOKS TO TRY FOR THE SPEAR AGAIN–
Deadprez: Guzman jumps up and manages to wrap her legs around Anna’s waist AS SHE USES THE MOMENTUM TO FLIP THEM BOTH OVER AND TAKES HER DOWN WITH THE SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB!
Gavin Kirkland: Anna’s head and neck snapped hard against the mat as Guzman stacks Anna up for the cover. Anna’s shoulders are down!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHRRRRRREEEE—-
Eve: ANNA GOT HER SHOULDERS UP AT TWO! That was a very close near fall as the referee was coming down for the three count. Anna is certainly feeling the move as she is holding her head and neck in pain.
Deadprez: With that being the case, Guzman thinks this is a golden opportunity to finish the match as she finds herself on the apron. She is waiting for Anna to get back to her feet.
Gavin Kirkland: Anna has slowly made it back to her feet AND GUZMAN JUST SLINGS HERSELF IN THE RING AND IS GOING FOR THE “LA ULTIMA DDT”–
Eve: ANNA GRABBED ONTO THE ROPES AND GUZMAN MISSES THE SLINGSHOT DDT! Guzman crashes hard onto the canvas as Anna tries to get her wits about her.
Deadprez: Anna has a handful of Guzman’s hair and brings her to her feet and goes to whip her to the ropes, BUT GUZMAN REVERSES AND SENDS ANNA FOR THE RIDE!
Gavin Kirkland: Anna rebounds off the ropes as Guzman goes for a big boot that Anna avoids. Anna hits the ropes on the other side as Guzman turns around AND RUNS RIGHT INTO A SPEAR FROM ANNA MAY!
Deadprez: ANNA GOT ALL OF THAT SPEAR AS GUZMAN’S HEAD AND NECK SNAP BACK AS SHE CRASHES INTO THE MAT! THIS TIME THE SPEAR HITS AND THAT SPEAR MIGHT HAVE DONE THE JOB RIGHT THERE AS ANNA HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER! UPSET ON THE WAY!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHRRRRRREEEEE!
Eve: GUZMAN GETS HER SHOULDER UP AT TWO! WHAT A VERY CLOSE NEAR FALL FOR THE ROOKIE MAKING HER EAW DEBUT TONIGHT! She was so close to getting the victory right there.
Gavin Kirkland: She does NOT look happy that the spear did not get her the win right there and she is trying to argue with the referee, but the referee is still saying that it was a two count. She glares at the referee before turning back to Guzman and is calling for her to get up.
Eve: Guzman is slowly rising and Anna looks like she is gearing up to hopefully finish this match once and for all. Her eyes are laser focused on Raeangel Guzman and I don’t Guzman has a clue what is about to happen.
Deadprez: Guzman is up and she slowly turns around as ANNA FIRES OFF THE “ANIME KICK” SUPERKICK, BUT RAEANGEL WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND!
Gavin Kirkland: Anna was knocked off balance after missing the superkick as Guzman hits the ropes. Anna turns around runs to the corner AS GUZMAN COMPLETES THE FLIP IN MIDAIR AND GRABS ANNA BY THE NECK AND PLANTING HER WITH “THE EUPHORIC INHALE”
Eve: WHAT A SOMERSAULT CUTTER BY RAEANGEL GUZMAN AND POOR ANNA WAS SPIKED INTO THE MAT! ANNA IS DOWN AND RAEANGEL ROLLS HER OVER AND HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHRRRRRREEEEE!
(DING! DING! DING!)
( “Tear Away” starts playing again as Raeangel rolls off of Anna with a pleased look on her face. She sits on the mat for a quick second to catch her breath as Gina Romano announces the final decision of the match.)
Gina Romano: Here is your winner… RAEANGEL GUZMAN!
Deadprez: What a way to kick off the action on Saturday Night Showdown! Exciting match between two stars of the Showdown brand.
Gavin Kirkland: Oh this was an amazing match. Are you sure that we can’t make this a two out of three falls match? We can keep them out here a little longer. I wouldn’t mind that.
Eve: Of course you wouldn’t. But this was a good match between a debuting competitor and a competitor who is looking to establish their claim for championship gold. Both fought hard, but Guzman’s experience helped her pull this win out.
(Raeangel gets back to her feet and the referee raises her arm in victory before being quickly pushed away by La Familia. They raise her arm in victory as the referee goes to check on Anna. They look at Anna in disgust before leaving the ring and heading up the entrance ramp.)
Gavin Kirkland: Awww. She was so close to winning. My heart goes out to Anna. I wonder if she needs any consoling. I would be more than happy to help.
Eve: I’m going to ignore that, but I do give Anna credit for trying to fight fire with fire against Raeangel, but it was the inexperience that was too much for her to overcome. If she keeps up the effort, she could be a star on Showdown.
Deadprez: Anna May fought hard in her EAW debut, but it wasn’t enough to put down Raeangel Guzman, who leaves Showdown with the victory. Congrats once again to Raeangel Guzman.
(The final shot shows Raeangel and La Familia soaking in her victory at the top of the entrance ramp before cutting to Anna being helped up by the referee in the ring. She looks unhappy that she lost her debut as the camera cuts elsewhere.)
(Showdown came back from commercials and the camera slowly turned towards the entrance ramp, ‘STFU!’ by Rina Sawayama quickly came into the speakers and one incredibly pissed off and tired Miku Sakai slowly walked out towards the entrance, her expression was one full of just downright annoyance, and there was a tint of anger and sadness towards it, she simply sighed to herself and once again simply ignored the people booing at her as she headed down towards the ring.)
Gavin Kirkland: MIKU, PLEASE! NOTICE ME! I CAN PROMISE YOU THAT I CAN TURN YOUR FROWN UPSIDE DOWN!
Deadprez: Sit down, man.
Gavin Kirkland: Look, I know shouting at them like that doesn’t work out the first few tries but someone has to respond back to me eventually!
Deadprez: She is about to beat your ass, that is what is going to happen one day.
Eve: Well, here comes down let’s say the Captain of the Showdown Divide and Conquer Team, she is obviously not in the best of moods after what ended up happening, considering the fact that her team, and especially her, I am sure, did not get the win in that match, the way she ended up getting eliminated was not fair in any way at all since Auburn Ware interfered in the match and cost her the chance of continuing further. And I believe that she is going to voice everything in her mind right now about that.
(Miku just went to grab the microphone off of ringside and entered inside of the match, she did not put on any kind of theatrics or tried to play up to the people around her jeering at her, she simply waited for her theme to died down and then simply waited for her music to die down as she put her hand against her face, sighing annoyingly.)
Miku Sakai: Right, I don’t have time to play with any of you fuckers right now, just had one of the worst weekends to experience. And honestly, there is another good reason why I should be angry about what happened, and really, I am not as annoyed as when it comes to that… that’s a lie, I am definitely upset about it but I am better at hiding it. I am not going to hold anything against Aria about the decision that she ended up taking, she believed that she could not cut it at one point and just set an objective for herself this time and welp, she failed and she made a promise about that. I have become a lot mature over the years so believe me, I would have been yelling incredibly loudly that another person around me is leaving like that, but it is whatever, she went on to go and make a journey to find herself or better herself, I am just not sure when my bestie will return, I don’t even know if or even she will return in any way, but hey, I am simply content that I found another person who can call me a friend in someway, that is enough for the current Miku.
Miku Sakai: But what will never leave me in any way no matter how much I grow is that I AM GOING TO ALWAYS BE PISSED WHEN SOMEONE ENDS UP SCREWING ME OVER! No, you can’t make me some kind of “gotcha” moment with that, that is absolute downright bullshit! Because I know damn well she is going to try and spin that towards me, do you know how HARD I tried to put that team together? Actually, that part was really not that hard, I just needed to find some idiots that did not have a match for the show yet, but the REALLY hard part was trying to rile them up and get them to just listen to me and do not fuck up in any way when heading into that match, and even though some of them fucked up royally, you KNOW who you are, and others actually showed up and finally remembered what their job is supposed to be about, ALL OF THAT GOT RUINED BY THIS BITCH WITH THE NAME OF AN UNIVERSITY! What do they teach you there? Being an absolute fucking idiot?! Imagine what we could have had! We could have had a whole fullblown Showdown sweep all across the board and you ruined it! Are you not patriotic for… uh… your brand??? Idfk. I AM JUST ABSOLUTELY PISSED ABOUT IT!!!!!
Miku Sakai: So you know what? RIGHT HERE AND NOW, IN THIS VERY RING! Auburn Ware, you ruined my Divide & Conquer win… GET OUT HERE!
(Miku quickly crosses her arms and waits there annoyingly, before finally, ‘Bad Blood’ by Taylor Swift & Kendrick Lamar plays on the speakers and Auburn walks out with a pissed off expression as well on her face, she simply focused forward towards Miku and ignored everything else around her. She waited for her theme to die down once Auburn ended up standing at the entrance ramp.)
Auburn Ware: Pfft, look at you now trying to complain and bring up points against me, isn’t that cute? Hell, now that the pain that you made me suffer is now being brought against you, now you want to complain? Now you want to make me seem like I am the one who is in the wrong? You have ALWAYS been in the wrong since the first day when you did that to me, Miku Sakai.
Miku Sakai: I JUST WON A MATCH!!!
Auburn Ware: By stealing the win away from me when I should have been the one who earned the championship shot, when I should have been the one to have the success that I earned and now that I end up bringing you back the same kind of feeling you made me feel, you want to act like the victim? It sucks, doesn’t it? Everything that you have made a mistake for is going to end up being thrown back at you tenfold and my hand is the one that is going to throw it. I hope that the beatdown that I am going to end up giving you makes you learn a lesson as to why you should never do what you do towards people. That all of this could have been avoided if you just ended up winning that match in a fair way and truly showed to me that you could beat me without having to resort to tricks or other people to do the job for you, but I definitely know you can’t in any way-
Deadprez: WOW! MIKU ROLLED OUT OF THE RING AND THEN SPRINTED UP THE RAMP TOWARDS AUBURN WARE!
Eve: THE TWO LADIES CLASH AGAINST EACH OTHER AND THEY ARE THROWING HAYMAKERS AND STRIKES TRYING TO KNOCK THE OTHER ONE DOWN, PUTTING THEIR FRUSTRATIONS AND ANGER IN EACH OF THOSE PUNCHES!
Gavin Kirkland: SECURITY GUARDS HAVE TO BE RUSHED DOWN THE RAMP TOWARDS THE TWO LADIES AND TRY TO BREAK UP THE TWO OF THEM BEFORE THEY SERIOUSLY HURT EACH OTHER!
(The security guards arrive to grab the two of them and pull the two of them apart before they continue to hurt each other in a serious manner, and as Auburn and Miku are shouting obscenities at each other, Showdown fades away on that scene.)
(The camera cuts to Gina Romano in the ring.)
Gina Romano: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!!!
(Vroom by Hoodie Allen & Connor Price hits to cheers from the crowd.)
Gina Romano: Introducing first from Portland, Oregon she is “The Anchor” NIKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKI KIMURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAA!!!
(Nikki Kimura makes her way down to ringside slapping hands with her many fans. Fans are shown with various signs they have crafted personally to support their hero Nikki Kimura.)
Eve: Nikki Kimura has really won over the audience! Beijing loves her!
Gavin Kirkland: Same. I wouldn’t wash my hand for a week if she touched me!
Deadprez: Gavin your hands are sticky enough as it is. Please wash your hands and practice better hygiene…
Gavin Kirkland: Never.
( ‘ballad of a homeschooled girl’ by Olivia Rodrigo hits to boos from the crowd.)
Gina Romano: And her opponent she is “El Alma de La Familia” BRRRRRRRRRRIANA HILLLLLLLLLLL!!!
(Brianna Hill makes her way out to the stage before she is also joined by La Familia accompanying her. Nikki Kimura protests this to the referee but there is nothing he can do.)
Eve: Well as we expected Brianna Hill is out here and she is not coming alone.
Deadprez: Yes at this point you have to expect when you take on one member of La Familia you are taking on all of them.
Gavin Kirkland: Can Nikki overcome the odds?!?!?
(DING! DING! DING!)
Eve: This match is now underway as Nikki and Brianna are staring each other down intensely. There is no love lost here at all before they charge in!
(But Luis grabs the leg of Nikki!)
Eve: No! Nikki Kimura saw it and stomped on the hand of Luis! But Brianna in the ring charges in looking to take advantage! But Nikki saw that too and moved out of the way! Nikki now lighting up Brianna with strikes in the corner of the ring. Brianna shoves her back and Nikki falls backwards as Brianna runs in with a Dropkick! But Nikki again moves out of the way. Brianna rolls up to her feet and locks up with Nikki in the ring but Nikki grabs her by the arm and tosses her across the ring. Brianna is grabbed by La Familia and pulled out of the ring as she begins to regroup here.
Deadprez: Good call from Brianna to get out of there when the going started to get tough. Brianna now gets back into the ring and is now cautiously approaching Nikki. They go to lock up… but Brianna quickly grabs the arm of Nikki and wrenches it around before whipping Nikki hard into the corner. Nikki runs into the corner but also runs up the turnbuckle paddings with agility and leaps backwards with a Springboard Crossbody onto Brianna! The cover!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Eve: No! Kickout by Brianna Hill! That was a close call! Nikki Kimura almost won this thing early! Brianna looks shook! Brianna back up as she goes to approach Nikki cautiously once again as they lock up in the ring again. They are fighting for position and it looks like Brianna overpowered Nikki here shoving her backwards but Nikki falls into the ropes and the referee forces the break. They meet again in the ring and Nikki grabs the leg of Brianna yanking her down into a heel hook and is trying to transition it into a full blown ankle lock but Brianna is resisting! Brianna is trying to get to the ropes as she lunges over and manages to grab the bottom rope. The referee orders the break with Brianna kicking Nikki away as she lets go.
Deadprez: Brianna Hill suddenly bursts out of the corner with a running boot to the gut of Nikki Kimura sending her falling backwards into the ropes. Nikki bounces off the ropes and runs back in towards Brianna who takes her down with a Running Shoulder Block. Wait no! Nikki didn’t go down! Nikki falls back slightly but stays on her feet! She then rushes in and begins throwing straight shots to the face of Brianna! Nikki and Brianna are just straight up brawling now! Brianna hauls off with a hard uppercut but Nikki dodges it! Nikki with a Drop Toe Hold sending Brianna face first to the mat! Nikki climbs on top of Brianna grabbing her leg and pulling her into an Ankle Lock! She’s going to tap out!
Gavin Kirkland: But look outside the ring! La Familia is pushing the bottom rope towards Brianna Hill! This made it easier to grab! She got the rope! Brianna might not have been able to do that herself! This is the benefit of having assistance at ringside! ¡Gracias a La Familia! ¡Todos son de gran ayuda!
Eve: Both competitors break free but Nikki Kimura ducks around behind Brianna Hill with a rollup!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
Deadprez: But Brianna is already in the ropes! Brianna is freed from the rollup almost immediately as she powers back up but Nikki tries to stay on top of her wrenching the arm. But the power of Brianna! Brianna lifts Nikki up over her shoulders and tosses her backwards with a Back Body Drop! Brianna then punches Nikki right in the face taking her down as soon as she gets back up. Brianna grabs Nikki by the head and throws her face first into the mat. Nikki is now just being brutalized and bullied by Brianna who climbs on top of her back applying a Camel Clutch just trying to force Nikki to submit here tonight! She hooks the arms and applies extra pressure on the hold! How is Nikki going to get out of this one? The referee is checking the positioning of the hands on Brianna who is clearly just strangling Nikki at this point! The referee is ordering the break! This is an illegal hold for sure!
Eve: Brianna Hill and La Familia at ringside are outraged. They think that was a legitimate hold and the referee is screwing Brianna over! Brianna releases the hold but then immediately locks in a Surfboard Stretch! It might have just gone from bad to worse for Nikki! But Nikki is pulling herself down onto the chest of Brianna! The referee begins to count!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!-
Deadprez: But Brianna Hill releases the hold and shoves Nikki Kimura off her! That move almost backfired severely! Brianna rushes Nikki as soon as she gets back up. Nikki is thrown backwards into the corner. Running Clothesline into the corner from Brianna! No! Nikki dodges it and jumps over Brianna and rolls her up with a Sunset Flip!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!-
Gavin Kirkland: Kickout by Brianna Hill! It is interesting that so far in this match despite Brianna Hill dominating it… it has been Nikki Kimura who has a handful of near falls already. You might think that Nikki is actually the one closer to pulling off the victory here despite everything else in this match saying otherwise! Nikki whips Brianna across the ring and takes her down with a series of Running Forearms! Brianna keeps getting back up… but another Flying Axe Handle from Nikki takes her down! Nikki wrenches the arm of Brianna to keep her grounded! She is forcing her face first into the mat as Brianna is trying to use her other arm to get back up. So Nikki grabs that arm too! She is yanking on that arm trying to pull it out of the socket! I really hope we don’t hear a disgusting popping sound… Brianna tries to use her leg strength to get back up but Nikki with an arm drag takes her right back down into the same predicament!
Eve: Nikki pulls Brianna back up as she continues to hold the armbar in place… until Brianna manages to use her power to break out of it. A running Clothesline to Nikki sends her flying over the top rope! Brianna is now talking smack as she gets out of the ring and leaps off the apron with a Flying Leg Drop over the neck of Nikki! Nikki’s face is then repeatedly bashed into the barricade at ringside! Brianna has had enough of trying to outwrestle Nikki and now is turning this into a brawl outside the ring! Nikki is brought over here towards our commentary table and slammed into it repeatedly! Nikki is thrown over the table! We better move!
Deadprez: Oh nah shucky ducky nikki quack quack! I just managed to avoid getting Nikki Kimura thrown right at me at full speed!
Gavin Kirkland: I’m not moving. I’m fine if she wants to sit on my lap!
Eve: Gavin get the hell out of there!
(The commentators are shown moving out of the way as Nikki Kimura lies under their table. Brianna Hill gets back into the ring and it looks like she wants to win this thing by count out now.)
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!
Deadprez: I think Nikki is starting to get back up! She might be able to break the count!
Referee: FOUR! FIVE! SIX!
Gavin Kirkland: No! Nikki come back to me baby! Don’t go to the ring! That’s not where I am!
Eve: Gavin don’t you dare stop her! She’s getting back in the ring!
Referee: SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE!
Deadprez: Nikki Kimura lunges back into the ring and breaks the count! Brianna Hill is enraged!
Gavin Kirkland: Same. I really thought we made a connection there. But they all leave me. :mjcry: !
Eve: As soon as Nikki Kimura gets back into the ring Brianna Hill pounces on her! Brianna tackles Nikki but is thrown off her! Nikki manages to duck and dodge Brianna and takes her down with a Flapjack when she runs in! Nikki grabs the leg of Brianna and wrenches her around into a Figure 4 Leglock! This move is painful and gets a reaction from the crowd who think that this could be the end for Brianna! Brianna is trying to reach the ropes! La Familia is pushing the ropes towards her hand! But the referee sees this and kicks their hand off! Brianna is going to be forced to get to the ropes the old fashioned way!
Deadprez: She makes it! Brianna Hill manages to clasp the bottom rope with her hands. The hold is broken, and we are back to square one once again. And now we-
(Suddenly a figure steps out onto the stage and begins to watch the match that is ongoing in the ring.)
Gavin Kirkland: Oh, shit is that…
Eve: It is! It’s Silas Mason! He’s out here and he’s observing this match! Could this mean…
Deadprez: Well, let’s not jump the gun Eve. Who knows what it could mean? Let’s focus on calling the match here… Nikki Kimura and Brianna Hill have both taken notice of Silas Mason on the stage but lock up in the ring as they can’t allow themselves to be distracted for too long. La Familia does not look happy that he is out here. They are yelling at him to get out of here. But he is just standing on the stage with a stoic expression on his face giving nothing away.
Eve: This match continues to rage on as Nikki Kimura grabs Brianna Hill by the hair and rams her into the corner. Brianna rolls out of the ring where she is getting advice from La Familia on how to proceed before sliding back into the ring to beat the referee’s ten count. Brianna back into the ring as Nikki grabs her and pulls her into a DDT! No! Brianna moves out of it but Nikki grabs her by the leg and pulls her leg into the ropes! Nikki is forcing the ankle of Brianna over the middle rope and repeatedly stomping away on it! This is highly illegal yet highly effective!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! GET THE HELL OFF HER! YOU ARE GONNA BREAK HER ANKLE!
Deadprez: Nikki Kimura breaks the hold, and the referee pulls her leg off the rope. I am pretty sure Nikki wouldn’t care at all if that led to her opponent getting her leg shattered! I wonder if diabolical maneuvers like that impress Silas as he is watching on. It definitely does not impress La Familia who had to restrain themselves from getting in the ring. That would not help matters as it would be an instant DQ for Brianna! But maybe that would be preferable to a broken ankle…
Gavin Kirkland: Exactly Dead. La Familia is just here because they care about the wellbeing of Brianna Hill. They are very supportive and helpful amigos. Just like me for real.
Eve: Yes Gavin, thank you for always having my back.
Gavin Kirkland: I got other ideas about what to do with your bac-
Deadprez: Ayo. Brianna Hill is now recovering on the outside holding her ankle in severe pain. La Familia is checking on her and I am not sure if Brianna is going to be able to continue and finish this match. She is struggling to stand up and might need to be stretchered out. Officials are now checking on Brianna, but she kicks them away! Brianna is forcing herself back up forcing herself to compete. On one leg if necessary!
Gavin Kirkland: That BBL doing numbers on Brianna’s legs. She is going to have to wear knee braces at this rate!
Eve: Gavin please! That’s not appropriate language for the workplace!
Gavin Kirkland: Shit I’m going to have to go through the training again…
Deadprez: But Nikki Kimura immediately kicks the leg out from under Brianna Hill! Nikki targeting the injured leg of Brianna with no remorse! Knee drop right into the ankle! The heel hook is applied, and Brianna should really tap out here. But she is refusing! Impressive resilience displayed by Brianna who I thought would have given up by this point. But Brianna is forcing herself back up only to get the leg sweeped out from under her once more by Nikki! I think Nikki has this match under firm control and it is only a matter of time befor-
Gavin Kirkland: No! Brianna Hill uses her other leg to kick Nikki Kimura off her! Nikki lunges back at Brianna trying to sweep the leg but Brianna retaliates with a headbutt knocking Nikki to the ground! Brianna is battling back with all she’s got on one leg! Even this crowd is impressed, and I don’t think a single one of them want to see Brianna win this match!
Eve: Another headbutt from Brianna and the force knocks both women down! They slowly get back up to their feet as Brianna grabs Nikki and pulls her into a DDT! Nikki is planted headfirst! But Brianna is not finished! Brianna grabs Nikki and lifts her up high above her head! Impressive show of strength here from Brianna… Brianna then slams Nikki down hard to the mat with a Military Press Slam! Brianna is rolling as she picks Nikki up and drops her hard across her knee with a Backbreaker! Brianna falls into the cover!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!-
Deadprez: Was that it? Did Brianna win? I don’t hear the bell! The match continues!
Eve: Nikki Kimura just barely kicked out before three. Brianna Hill pulls Nikki back up and whips her across the ring. Brianna tosses Nikki up into the air! But Nikki transitions into a Flying Headscissors and tosses Brianna across the ring! Brianna back up as she runs up at Nikki but Nikki twists her around in midair!!!
Deadprez: And drops her right on her head! Nikki Kimura connects with a Tombstone Piledriver! Brianna’s neck might have been shattered in two! Nikki throws her hand over Brianna! Count it ref! Count it!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!-
Deadprez: WHAT THE HELL! WHAT THE HELL! BRIANNA KICKED OUT! HOW IN THE HELL!!!
(Even Silas Mason on the stage looks surprised to see that Brianna Hill kicked out of the devastating maneuver.)
Eve: Brianna Hill is not moving at all… but she kicked out. It had to have been out of pure instinct!
Deadprez: Nikki Kimura is pulling herself up slowly as she looks across the ring. Brianna Hill is somehow getting back up too. Nikki can’t believe it as she wonders what it will take. Brianna lunges forward-
Eve: But her ankle gives out and she falls down on her knee in the middle of the ring.
Deadprez: KAMIGOYE!!!!!!!! NIKKI KIMURA NAILS BRIANNA RIGHT IN THE SKULL AND FALLS FOR THE COVER!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!-
Referee: EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Gina Romano: Here is your winner… NIKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKI KIMUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Vroom by Hoodie Allen & Connor Price hits to cheers from the crowd as Nikki Kimura has her arm raised in victory.)
Eve: Big win for Nikki Kimura who continues her hot streak!
Deadprez: We saw her almost last to the end at Territorial Invasion but came up short there. But not tonight! Nikki with a huge win!
(Luis De La Rosa is shown grabbing a Nikki Kimura sign from a fan at ringside and angrily tearing it up.)
Gavin Kirkland: La Familia is clearly not taking this very well! I hope they don’t get violent!
Eve: Nikki Kimura is taunting Luis and La Familia to get into the ring, but they are grabbing Brianna and taking their leave. Looks like they have had enough action with Nikki for one night!
Deadprez: Maybe for a lifetime! Nikki showed that she is not one to be messed with.
(The camera cuts to a commercial featuring Nikki Kimura trying out for the new WNBA team in Portland.)
(The camera returns to the ring where there is a moment of silence. Seconds later, the sounds of “7 Rings” by Ariana Grande start to fill the arena as the National Elite Champion Veena Adams enters the arena to a mixed, but more negative reaction from the crowd. She has the National Elite Championship belt on her shoulder and a smile on her face as she heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the ring at this time the EAW NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPION! VEENA ADAMS!
Deadprez: Here comes the lovely Veena Adams heading to the ring and she is no doubt in a good mood after what happened at Territorial Invasion last week after War Games.
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t know about you, but seeing Veena looking all happy and having a smile on her face is almost contagious. Now I have a smile on my face. Gosh, Veena just radiates beauty and class. Charlie Marr is such a lucky man.
Eve: Stop being so hopeless. It’s a little surprising to see Veena coming to the ring considering she doesn’t have a match tonight–
Gavin Kirkland: Which absolutely SUCKS! It’s like a crime or something.
Eve: Will you SHUT UP! Honestly, I don’t blame her for feeling so good considering that she was part of Showdown’s first ever War Games winning team. Momentum has been riding really high for Veena Adams.
Deadprez: Now that Territorial Invasion is over. We are heading towards The Last Stand, so we can only wonder what Veena will have to say right now. We won’t have to wait very long because we are about to find out.
(Veena keeps hold of her National Elite Championship as she grabs a microphone from Gina Romano before she enters the ring. After entering the ring, she adjusts the title on her shoulder and lets the crowd finish up their reaction before she begins to speak.)
Veena Adams: You know what? You can go ahead and keep up the negative reactions because even the loud and obnoxious boos from you people out in the crowd are not going to remove this beautiful smile from this beautiful face because I am in a very VERY ecstatic mood. Do you all want to know why?
Veena Adams: That’s because I got the chance to make people EAT THEIR WORDS! Let me tell you that that feeling is very VERY satisfying. Do you know what that feeling is?
Gavin Kirkland: I think I know what it is! Man, I wish I could be part of that satisfying feeling! Charlie is such a lucky man.
Eve: It’s not THAT, you dumb sick bastard. Now shut the hell up and let Veena talk.
Veena Adams: That satisfying feeling is knowing that I was able to lead Showdown to victory in War Games. Not just any War Games, but Showdown’s first victory EVER!! It is absolutely amazing.
(The crowd’s reaction immediately goes positive because the people in attendance strongly support the brand in blue as she smirks and nods her head. She lets the crowd cheer for a little bit longer before she continues speaking.)
Veena Adams: Yeah, I had a feeling that me saying that would change your tone. Yeah, winning War Games was an amazing feeling, but what is right up there in feeling good is the fact that I got to prove so many people WRONG yet again.
Veena Adams: People haven’t been taking me as a serious threat my entire career. They didn’t think I would ever become Champion and yet here I am with a title belt. That certainly shut some people up.
Veena Adams: But becoming Captain of the Showdown War Games team brought about a whole new set of haters and doubters. A set of people who didn’t think that I had what it took to lead a team of extremely talented competitors into war… but I did.
Veena Adams: Not only took them into war, I brought them out of war as we brought a victory to Showdown in a match that we have never won and nobody can take that away from us. Now let that be a lesson for anybody else who wants to disrespect and write me off as not a threat.
(The camera zooms in on Veena as she looks into the camera with fire in her eyes. She has a no nonsense look on her face before continues to address the crowd. )
Veena Adams: People might consider me a bitch, but this bitch is the National Elite Champion, and you better not undermine me again. That will be your first mistake. That will be your last mistake and that will be your fatal mistake.
Veena Adams: Now that I have made that perfectly clear, there’s another reason why I am out here and it involves this beauty resting on my shoulder.
(The camera zooms in on the National Elite Championship belt as Veena gives it pat as the camera zooms back out and Veena continues speaking.)
Veena Adams: Ever since I won the National Elite Champion for the second time last year, I have taken the pleasure of taking on anybody that has issued a challenge or has stepped up to the champ.
Veena Adams: I have also taken the pleasure of defeating each and every opponent who has tried to force the “Golden Star” to fall. Many have tried and many have failed to take the spotlight away from me.
(Veena soaks in the crowd’s reaction for a moment. Some positive and some negative. Either way, Veena doesn’t let the crowd’s reaction phase her.)
Deadprez: You have got to give Veena Adams a lot of credit for all that confidence she has.
Gavin Kirkland: She has earned all of that confidence with the successful reign that she has had and the challengers she has taken down. I love watching her be confident.
Eve: I thought we told you to shut up. Looks like Veena still has more to say.
(Veena is done letting the crowd cheer and boo. They have finally silenced as she continues with what she has to say.)
Veena Adams: I mean we are on our way to The Last Stand… the next big Showdown event. But there seems to be something missing. You wanna know what that is?
Veena Adams: A contender for the National Elite Championship. That’s right! I don’t have an opponent established for my next title defense… but that’s about to change.
Veena Adams: For my next title defense, we are going to change things up a little bit. We are going to do something a little bit differently. For my next title defense, my next opponent is going to be….
Veena Adams: ANYBODY!
(The crowd cheers in wondering what in the world Veena is talking about.)
Veena Adams: That’s right! I have decided to throw out an open invitation for ANYBODY who thinks they have a chance to dethrone the National Elite Champion. If you think you can beat me, STEP RIGHT UP!
Veena Adams: It doesn’t matter who the hell it is, if you want a shot at me… WRESTLING me, you perverts. Then you can take your chance and I am expecting an answer next week, so you have until then to grow a pair and accept my open challenge.
(Veena tosses her microphone down as “7 Rings” starts to play again throughout the arena and the crowd once again gives her a mixed reaction. She holds the National Elite Championship high in the air for a moment before leaving the ring and heading up the entrance ramp.)
Deadprez: Well, there you have it ladies and gentlemen. Interesting development we have now surrounding the National Elite Championship. Veena Adams has laid down the gauntlet for ANYBODY to step right up and have a match for the National Elite Championship and she wants an answer next week!
Gavin Kirkland: I wouldn’t be surprised if nobody accepts the challenge because she has been a very dominant Champion since she won the belt back. Hell, I think she’s the best National Elite Champion ever. Nothing wrong with another change
Eve: There are a few people in the back who would dispute that and belt you for even saying and I really hope they do because you were unbearable with Veena out here. But besides that, Veena has certainly proven herself as Champion and is putting out a search to see who will be her next challenge
Deadprez: Well… if anybody thinks that they can dethrone Veena Adams, they have a golden opportunity to step up to the plate and become Veena’s next challenger. I guess we will find out who will accept Veena’s open challenge because she will be waiting for an answer, and it wouldn’t be wise to keep her waiting.
(The final shot shows Veena Adams standing at the top of the entrance ramp as she once again holds the National Elite Championship up in the air for the people in the arena and the people watching at home to see as the camera fades elsewhere.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen… The following Singles Match is scheduled for ONE FALL!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!
(‘Prices’ by Lil Uzi Vert starts to play throughout the arena as a mix of cheers and boos can be heard at the sight of Ruler being carried down to the ring by multilme druids.)
Gina Romano: Introducing first… Residing in The Reserved in Boston, Massassuchest… Weighing in at 220 pounds… He is… “The Revolutionizer”… RUUUUUUULERRRRRR!!!
(As Ruler slowly makes it inside the ring and his druids surround the ring. His theme song is then replaced by ‘PA’ ROMPERLA” by Bad Bunny and Don Omar. The fans start to boo very loudly as Luis De La Rosa makes his way towards the ring enjoying hearing the fans boo him relentlessly alongside La Familia.)
Gina Romano: Introducing his opponent… Residing in Cancun, Mexico… Weighing in at 170 lbs… Accompanied by La Familia… He is… LUISSSSSSSS DE LA ROSAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Deadprez: That’s the bell as Luis De La Rosa and Ruler both staring each other down as Ruler attempts to go for a quick takedown on Luis De La Rosa, but the younger De La Rosa is too quick with it as he drops down to the mat and rolls out of the ring! Luis looks at the camera with a big cocky smirk on his face while the druids surrounding the ring slowly start approaching him trying to surround him… Luis turns around as he quickly rolls back inside the ring while yelling at the druids to stay back, but this leaves Luis open as Ruler capitalizes on Luis’ own foolishness by grabbing him quickly from behind and hitting Luis with a quick German Suplex! It’s not enough to put the young bull down, but enough to put Ruler in the offense as Luis starts to slowly get back up to his feet. Not quite as Ruler knocks Luis down to the mat with a NASTY knee to the face! Looks like he’s not done just yet as he’s trying to really put the hurt on young Luis De La Rosa as he starts to pick him up in quick fashion…
Gavin Kirkland: I’m just glad I’m not next to Persephone right now… If she saw how her boy toy was being treated let’s just say Prezzy; our eardrums wouldn’t be the same ever again. However, Ruler was able to set up Luis for a Brainbuster right in the middle of the ring! Wow! That’s gotta fast forward those CTE symptoms by a few years don’t you think? Well it for sure keeps Luis down on the mat for good as Ruler looks to waste no time, he starts to head towards the turnbuckle, climb to the top rope, and goes for a Frog Splash! WAIT! Luis has his knees up at the last second as Ruler is left breathless before Luis pushes Ruler off of him and gets back up to his feet slowly. Luis now sees an opportunity to weaken Ruler as he starts stomping down on his feet and legs making sure Ruler can’t use them as effectively against him! Looking as confident as ever, Luis slowly starts to pick up Ruler while taunting and yelling at the druids outside before positioning Ruler for a Snap Suplex in the middle of the ring!
Eve: The crowd starts to boo very loudly as La Familia cheers on Luis before he starts to run the ropes and connects with a Running Moonsault! Luis picks himself back up quickly as he slowly starts picking up Ruler from the mat with a few slaps to the face in between, after picking him up, leaving Ruler groggily standing there, Luis starts to run the ropes, and is looking to connect with a Running Hurricanrana! POWERBOMB TO LUIS FROM RULER AS HE DROPS HIM DOWN ON THE MAT! Ruler looking to right his wrong from earlier in the match as he starts to climb to the top rope once again and best believe he’s here to try and prove that his loss at Territorial Invasion was simply a speed bump on his road to the top, speaking of the top, Ruler takes a dive off the top rope, and connects with a Frog Splash on Luis! This time connecting without Luis putting his knees up, Ruler tries to go for the cover, but Luis starts to roll out of the ring to catch his breath… Ruler is not having any of this though as he starts to run the ropes and goes for a Suicide Dive that connects on the outside!
Deadprez: Talk about NASTY! Ruler took a high risk with that and it paid off, but it don’t look like Ruler is done being on the outside just yet as he picks himself up with the help of the barricade close to him before he quickly picks up poor Luis De La Rosa as well and starts hitting with him with Elbow Strikes to the head trying to leave Luis dazed and confused… Last elbow strikes and this one clearly leaves Luis looking at stars all around but Ruler ain’t going to let this go to waste as he starts to pick him up and set him up for a Powerbomb on the outside of the ring… Not so fast as Luis starts to throw his own elbows trying to escape from this Powerbomb position, he does enough damage to turn this bad situation for himself by sending Ruler into the steel steps with a Hurricanrana! Luis slowly gets back up noticing that he’s on the offense once again as he grabs Ruler’s right leg and places it on the steel steps before going for a NASTY stomp on that leg!!! That’s gonna leave a mark as the druid around the ring slowly starts approaching the area, but Luis is feeling himself here tonight as he picks up Ruler once again and does his own Brainbuster on the outside ring, a little payback from Ruler’s Brainbuster earlier in the match.
Referee: ONE!
Referee: TWO!
Referee: THREE!
Gavin Kirkland: Honestly, Luis De La Rosa should be more worried about the druids slowly approaching him than the referees count and putting the hurt on Ruler on the outside… Yet, as far as we know, Luis is as confident as ever, enjoying seeing Ruler ache at the pain Luis has inflicted on him, but it seems Luis has only just begun as he looks at Ruler attempting to get back up to his feet, rakes his eyes while the referee was distracted with the druids, and Irish Whips Ruler onto the steel steps before taking a few steps back. It looks like Luis is trying to really hurt poor Ruler using his gigantic big brain strategy! Using the steel steps in this way where it’s technically not against the rules?!? GENIUS!!! Luis starts running towards Ruler looking to hit Ruler… What are these people doing?!? Why the hell are the druids stepping forwards to stop this awesome moment from happening?!? It’s simply unfair and you know what? I am glad La Familia are out here trying to stop this nonsense, but it seems Ruler got LUCKY as he’s able to throw Luis De La Rosa back inside the ring as he follows in pursuit and as both men meet inside, Ruler puts down Luis with a Shotgun Dropkick!
Eve: So it’s okay for La Familia to do that, but the druids stop Luis from continuing to cheat and it’s wrong now?!? Your mind works in mysterious ways I will tell you that much Gavin, but this is the opening Ruler needed as Luis has a smaller chance of cheating inside the ring than on the outside as Ruler is not wasting any time and quickly sets up Luis for another German Suplex! The Suplex connects, but Luis De La Rosa trying to show his resistance here tonight as he gets back up and as he tries to tell Ruler to do it again, the German Suplex was too much and Luis starts stumbling backwards towards the ropes! Rebounding off the ropes, Ruler is more than ready as he grabs Luis, and plants him down in the middle of the ring with a Spinebuster as he quickly goes for a cover!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Eve: A kick out at two as the match continues on and Ruler is simply unfazed by it as he quickly heads to the corner and starts yelling for Luis to get up… Luis slowly starts to get up and Ruler starts running his way looking to hit him with RV1… LUIS ABLE TO DROP DOWN AND ROLL OUT OF THE RING AT THE LAST MINUTE AS RULER MISSES THE REVOLUTIONIZER VERSION ONE! He ain’t too happy about that one as Ruler quickly gets back up, runs the ropes, and is looking for another Suicide Dive to the outside as he goes through the ropes… SUPERKICK FROM LUIS DE LA ROSA AS HE IS ABLE TO STOP THE DIVE IN MID AIR!!! Both these men have been giving their all, trying to show the world that their losses at Territorial Invasion do not define them as elitist, and it seems Luis De La Rosa is looking to showcase just how important La Familia is for Showdown as a whole here tonight! Luis, not wasting any time though, grabs Ruler and hits him with an Irish Whip directly on the barricade! Still using the barricade to his advantage, Luis picks up Ruler, lays him across the barricade with his upper half sticking out, takes a few steps back, and is able to connect with a Dropkick on Ruler before Luis throws him back inside the ring.
Deadprez: Luis waiting on the outer side of the ring apron as he grabs onto the ropes and connects with a Springboard Tope De Hilo on Ruler as he grabs onto Ruler, puts him on his shoulder, and is looking to hit Ruler with his “Choque De Esquina” signature move as he’s looking to throw Ruler directly onto the turnbuckle… Ruler was able to slip from behind before it was too late as Ruler grabs Luis from behind and with a quick Snap Suplex plants Luis down on the mat for good! Ruler makes his way near Luis’ legs as he starts to deadlift him from the grounded position as he is looking to set him up for a devastating Sitting Powerbomb right on that poor boy’s back! NASTY! STRAIGHT UP NASTY MOVE FROM RULER! He ain’t finished though as he quickly makes his way to the corner once again and starts yelling at poor Luis to get back up on his feet which Luis slowly does get up, turns around, and RV1 as the Revolutionizer Version One Running Knee connects!!!
Gavin Kirkland: C’mon La Familia… Help out our hermano here… Throw him a bone or some as Ruler starts heading to the top rope once again and quickly takes the dive as he connects with a Moonsault on Luis De La Rosa! He’s not going for the cover though as he starts to slap Luis De La Rosa while getting him back up to his feet before he runs behind him, rebounds off the ropes and looks to connect with his “Space Cadet” Hurricanrana Driver… LUIS USING ALL HIS NEW FOUND STRENGTH AND ADRENALINE TO STUMBLE HIS WAY TOWARDS THE ROPES AND THROW RULER OUT OF THE RING GETTING OUT OF THAT STICKY SITUATION!!! Luis stumbles backwards right after being able to muster all that strength, clearly catching his breath, surprised even in his own ability before getting back into focus, and beginning to run the ropes himself! He rebounds off the ropes and this time goes for a Tope Con Hilo to the outside the connects beautifully knocking out a few druids in the process who were checking up on whatever Ruler is to them! Back up on his feet, the confident Luis De La Rosa starts to taunt once again even yelling out something about loving his soon to be wife before locking back into the match itself as he throws Ruler back into the ring as he follows from behind. Ruler slowly getting back up as he grabs onto the ropes, back to his feet, but as he turns around he’s greeted by Luis De La Rosa trying to knock his head clean off with an amazing Clothesline before Luis once again puts Ruler over his shoulder…
Eve: Looks like Luis is looking for another attempt at hitting his “Choque De Esquina” signature move as Luis sends Ruler straight into the turnbuckle with a Lawndart and quickly after that, Luis De La Rosa rolls up Ruler for a pin but not before putting his feet on the ropes for extra leverage as the referee starts the count!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-!!!
Eve: The referee notices all the druids around the ring pointing at the ropes as the referee checks and notices that Luis De La Rosa is attempting to cheat to get the win as the referee and Luis start to argue for a bit before Luis dismisses the referee and starts to pick up Ruler and tries to lock him into his finishing maneuver, “Cartel Execution #2” as Luis attempts to lock in the Guillotine Choke, but Ruler uses that against Luis as he plants him down on the mat with a modified Spinebuster! Ruler is back on the offense ladies and gentlemen as he heads to the outside area of the ring apron, he grabs onto the rope, and he connects with a Springboard Frog Splash before quickly rolling back up on his feet, grabbing onto Luis De La Rosa, and hitting him with a Uranage right on the turnbuckle closest to them leaving Luis groggy enough to allow Ruler to connect with the “Space Cadet” Hurricanrana Driver signature move of Ruler!!! Ruler now goes for the cover, will this be all she rode, or can Luis De La Rosa muster up all the strength he has left to kick out in time?!?
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Gavin Kirkland: LUIS DE LA ROSA’S FOOT IS ON THE ROPE AS BRIANNA HILL WAS ABLE TO PLACE IT THERE IN THE LAST MINUTE AND THE REFEREE CALLS THE COUNT OFF!!! Ruler is not too happy about that as he slowly starts to pick Luis back up trying to set him up for the “Revolutionizer” Spinning Back Heel Kick finishing maneuver… LUIS IS ABLE TO DUCK UNDER JUST IN TIME AS HE RUNS TOWARDS THE ROPES AND WITH A SPRINGBOARD ARM DRAG SENDS RULER DOWN TO A KNEE! VIVA LA FAMILIA! VIVA LA RAZA! VIVA LA MEXICO! SI! SI! SI! THIS IS HOW WE ARE GOING TO WIN THE MATCH LADIES AND GENTLEMEN AS IN LA FAMILIA WE TRUST! Luis De La Rosa now not wasting any time runs the ropes once again as he rebounds off them and connects with the Hurricanrana that drives Ruler’s head right onto the mat spiking it in the process! It seems we are in the beginning of the end for Ruler folks and I for one am elated as Luis is about to pick up yet another win cementing us in La Familia as the top faction, yes I am an honorary member, just don’t ask around okay? Though, Luis uses his foot to slowly pick Ruler back to his feet as Luis takes a few steps back and hits him with a Superkick to the face that turns Ruler around and Luis doesn’t stop there as a second one hits Ruler to the back of the head! Double Superkick signature move from Luis, I believe we are about to get a winner here tonight, and I am excited!
Eve: Don’t get ahead of yourself now Gavin as Luis still has to put him down, but Luis starts climbing to the top rope so it might actually be over as he takes a dive looking to connect with “Destripada” BUT RULER GETTING UP LIKE IT’S NOTHING WHILE LUIS IS MID-AIR AS HE CONNECTS WITH THE “REVOLUTIONIZER” SPINNING BACK HEEL KICK ON LUIS!!! Ruler now goes for the cover is this it?!?
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Gina Romano: Here is your winner by pinfall… He is… “The Revolutionizer”…. RUUUUUUUULERRRRRR!!!
Deadprez: We had a great back and forth action but only one man could pick up the win and it seems Ryker was just the better and smarter man here tonight.
Gavin Kirkland: Ruler only won because he had those druids out there trust me. He cheated us out of this victory here tonight, but you know what? It’s okay because what matters is what happens next okay? Congratulations on the win Ruler but we know how you got that win…
Eve: Yeah he won fair and square as he picks up momentum here on Showdown while Luis De La Rosa and La Familia are not too happy about what just happened here tonight.
(Ruler is seen walking out victorious here tonight as his druids follow him behind while Luis De La Rosa is being helped back up by La Familia as the scene fades to elsewhere.)
(The camera cuts backstage to Showdown General Manager Kennedy Street’s office. She is reading some paperwork on her desk as she hears a knock on her door that snaps her out of her work.)
Kennedy Street: Come in!
(Seconds later, the door opens and the crowd starts to cheer louder when the Showdown Brand Warfare team of Charlie Marr, Cody Maverick, Jon Kelton, Donovan Duke, and SOSA Henderson enter her office. They all look to be in a very good mood as Kennedy stands up and leaves her desk to shake her successful team’s hands before addressing her team.)
Kennedy Street: Gentlemen! Thank you all for stopping by. I know I have already mentioned this, but congratulations once again on the Brand Warfare victory. Certainly showed Dynasty and Voltage, did we?
Charlie Marr: Of course we did! No thanks are necessary, but if we are giving congrats out, I think all the credit belongs to me. The amazing and successful Team Captain of Team Showdown.
(That remark has the other four men in the room looking at each other, asking amongst themselves if Charlie actually said that.)
We wouldn’t have been able to have the dominating victory if it wasn’t for me and the efforts that I had in turning a group of people with nothing in common into a victorious Brand Warfare team. I mean if it wasn’t for me, we wouldn’t have….
(Charlie looks around and sees that the rest of the team is giving him looks of confusion, wondering if Charlie really believes what’s coming out of his mouth.)
Charlie Marr: What? Why are you guys looking at me?
Cody Maverick: Please tell me that you’re joking, right?
Jon Kelton: Yeah. Are you being serious right now?
Charlie Marr: What? What are you talking about? Of course I am being serious! If it wasn’t for me, we wouldn’t have won the match. Have you guys already forgotten about all the team building moments that we went through?
Cody Maverick: Of course we haven’t forgotten about that.
Donovan Duke: It’s not that we don’t appreciate what you did because we do… it’s just that you were eliminated first from the team?
(Charlie doesn’t look too amused with everybody’s response and all he does is just shrug and wonder what they are getting at.)
Charlie Marr: So what’s your point?
SOSA Henderson: Our point is that you were the first eliminated and I was the one who won the match for Showdown. Not you.
(SOSA is done talking with Charlie and turns his attention over to Kennedy Street.)
SOSA Henderson: Speaking of our victory. So, Kennedy, how about you give us all what we earned for bringing the win to Showdown?
(After SOSA asked that question, Cody snapped his head over to SOSA with a look of shock on his face.)
Cody Maverick: Woah woah woah! Hold on a second there, SOSA. Did you say “we”?
SOSA Henderson: Yeah, I said we. We as in the entire team. WE won the match and WE should all be rewarded for our work. What is the issue?
Cody Maverick: The issue is that you and Donovan already have your own contracts. Why should you guys get rewarded again? It’s not fair.
(That remark then got the attention of Donovan Duke. He didn’t say a word, but Donovan sure as hell got brought into the conversation and Donovan really didn’t like that remark about being rewarded is “not fair”.)
Donovan Duke: Now wait a second, Cody. Are you really going to hold mine and SOSA’s contracts that we won at Pain for Pride against us and consider that reward enough? Might I remind you that our contracts have NOTHING do to with Territorial Invasion.
Cody Maverick: Yeah I do. You two already have very lucrative rewards at your disposal, why should you two get another?
SOSA Henderson: Because we were part of the same team as you. Why is it such a big deal to you?
Donovan Duke: Exactly. Me and SOSA were part of the Brand Warfare team. If the Brand Warfare team is going to be rewarded, then that should include ALL members of the Brand Warfare team.
SOSA Henderson: If my memory serves me correctly, me and Donovan have been at each other the whole season yet WE were the final two members of Team Showdown.
Charlie Marr: I don’t see why you are making such a big deal about this. Yeah, they have contracts, big deal.
Cody Maverick: All I am saying is that you two already have something in your back pocket. We, on the other hand, NEED to get something out of this since we don’t already have something.
Donovan Duke: And you will get something. What we have isn’t taking away from what you are going to get. Nothing personal, Cody, but I don’t understand what the big deal is.
SOSA Henderson: Yeah, so don’t worry about what we have and be more concerned about what you are going to get.
Cody Maverick: Of course you wouldn’t understand because again, you two already have contracts. Isn’t having a future title match at your disposal enough for the two of you?
(That remark ends up leading to an argument between the men in the ring. Kennedy rolls her eyes at the bickering. They continue on for a moment until Jon Kelton, who has been pretty silent up until this point, breaks up the argument.)
Jon Kelton: Hey! Hey! HEY! COME ON GUYS! Shut up for a second. HEY! SHUT UP!
(Kelton’s yelling manages to get everybody silent as they turn their attention to Kelton and wonder what he has to say.)
Jon Kelton: Look you guys. I can see where all you guys are coming from, but as far as I am concerned, we all did go out there and win the match for Showdown.
(The guys look around and halt their arguing and look at each other and nod in agreement.)
Jon Kelton: Also think about this as well. Not only did we win Brand Warfare, we brought Showdown its first Brand Warfare victory EVER! Regardless of personal preferences, I think making history for Showdown warrants us all a reward.
Kennedy Street: Alright alright, gentlemen. That’s enough discussion from all of you. I get it. I heard what you all had to say and I have taken it all into consideration.
Kennedy Street: I will admit that I am happy that I don’t have to call security to break you up, but you all did have very good points, so this is what I have decided.
(All five men look at each other for a second before they look back at their General Manager and wonder what her decision is.)
Kennedy Street: I have decided that you did represent Showdown with pride and brought the victory home to Kennie and that makes Kennie very happy. So I believe for making Kennie very happy, that you all have earned yourself a little reward.
(Kennedy stops for a second and takes a look at Cody.)
Kennedy Street: Since Kennie is still the General Manager of Showdown, I am rewarding all FIVE members of the team for their hard work and bringing even more prestige to Showdown and I am not going to hear another word about it.
(Cody puts his hands up in surrender and nods his head as Kennedy puts the smile back on her face before continuing.)
Kennedy Street: That’s exactly what I like to see. Now don’t get too excited because I am not going to say anything right now because I am going to announce what your rewards are next week on Showdown.
(That answer from Kennedy certainly puts the five gentlemen in a very good mood as they talk between each other for a quick second wondering what the rewards could be before looking back at their General Manager.)
Kennedy Street: Believe me, gentlemen. You are NOT going to want to miss it. Trust me. So how does that sound, gentlemen?
Charlie Marr: Sounds good to me.
Cody Maverick: That works.
Jon Kelton: Works for me.
Donovan Duke: I like the sound of that.
SOSA Henderson: Must be
Kennedy Street: Good. That will be all for now, gentlemen. Some of you have matches to get ready for later tonight, so I will see you all next week.
(The final shot shows Kennedy Street looking pretty pleased with herself as the Brand Warfare talk amongst themselves as the camera fades back to ringside.)
(The camera pans to the ring as Gina Romano is ready to make the introductionsn to the first match.)
Gina Romano: The following contest is scheduled for one fall…
Crowd: One fall!
( “PUT EM IN THE FRIDGE” by Peso Pluma (ft. Cardi B) as the cheers turn into jeers as Roberto De La Rosa enters the arena. As always, Roberto is being flanked by the rest of La Familia. )
Gina Romano: Introducing first! Representing and accompanied by La Familia! Currently residing in Cancun, Mexico as well as Miami, Florida! Weighing in at 225 pounds! Here is “EL PADRINO” ROBERTO DE LA ROSA!
( He’s interrupted by ‘I Rise’ by Cory Marks, Donovan Duke walks out, raising the Cash in the Vault briefcase high. He smiles, high fiving the fans as he walked down the ramp! )
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING THEIR OPPONENT! Weighing in at 212 pounds! THE 2024 MR. CASH IN THE VAULT!…THE OKLAHOMA STORM!…DONOVAN DUKE!
( DING! DING! DING! )
Gavin Kirkland: The match is underway and Mr. Cash in the Vault Donovan is looking for a concrete victory over Roberto De La Rosa, both of whom are 24/7 contract holders so they know what it’s like to go the distance. This is going to be a long match, a match that pushes them to their very limit. But it helps that Roberto has La Familia in his corner, who could help him whenever he is in trouble!
Eve: They have been the difference maker in many matches on Showdown and I don’t think that will- wait a second. Look Roberto is calling up La Familia, talking to them. They seem to be just as confused as us, what could Roberto possibly be discussing with them? Possible game plans to win this match?
Roberto De La Rosa (off mic): “Listen, I know you guys are ready to do whatever to help La Familia get a victory tonight. However, I think it’s best if I handle Donovan alone. You guys can go backstage.”
Deadprez: No way, he’s calling for La Familia to go backstage, they are puzzled by his decision but Roberto is in charge so they aren’t going to question it. Getting down from the apron and making their way up the ramp. Donovan looked relieved and gave a nod of respect to Roberto. This match is now a one on one encounter, a fantastic one if I do say so myself. They are measuring each other up, circling the ring trying to see who’s going to make the first move. Both charging in with a collar and elbow tie up, struggling in the center of the ring.
Gavin Kirkland: Donovan uses his strength to overcome the hold, shoving Roberto INTO THE ROPES AND COMING BACK AT DUKE WITH A HUGE HURRICANRANA! Duke is up very fast, getting to his feet in the corner.. but so is Roberto, and he runs to the corner, blasting Duke with a forearm! ROBERTO WITH THE FOREARM! Now Roberto pulls Duke into the middle of the ring, running off the ropes- DUKE CUTS HIM OFF WITH A LARIAT! HE THEN PICK HIM UP.. AND DROPS THEM WITH A BACK SUPLEX! ROBERTO IS PUT ON HIS BACK WITH THE SUPLEX! He then rolls away from Duke, holding that planted back.. but Donovan pulls them back in, AND RAMS KNEES INTO HIS BACK! Then he picks Roberto up, AND DRIVES THEM DOWN WITH A STANDING LARIAT!
Eve: There it is, that slow and deliberate breakdown by Donovan Duke, as he kneels down and broads the back of Roberto…then leaps up, AND STOMP IT IN! I tell you, Roberto isn’t walking outta this ring the same way he went in. Donovan now gets off of him, and wants Roberto to get up.. and he does.. AND DUKE FORCES A KNEE INTO THE BACK OF THE HEAD OF ROBERTO DE LA ROSA! RIGHT INTO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! DUKE WITH THAT PINPOINT STRIKE! Now Duke rolls Roberto over, hooking his leg for the cover!
ONE!

…
Gavin Kirkland: ROBERTO KICKS OUT! But Donovan just goes right back to work, PUNISHING HIM FOR TRYING TO WIN THIS MATCH! He slams several punches into the face of Roberto, before picking them up and pushing them against the ropes…LAYING IN A CHOP! Well, he might as well throw in the towel now…once Duke gets going, he doesn’t stop, and now they’re getting going off the ropes, and HITS A KITCHEN SINK KNEE INTO THE GUT OF ROBERTO! Roberto is getting beat like a mule out there, as Donovan drags him to the center of the ring, and goes off the ropes- WAIT! ROBERTO GOES OFF THE ROPES, AND GETS AT DONOVAN BEFORE HE GETS AT HIM, AND LAYS IN A FLYING FOREARM!
Eve: COULD THIS BE A COMEBACK IN THE MAKING? DUKE IS PUT DOWN, AND ROBERTO RUNS TO THE ROPES, AND SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE ROPES- NO! DUKE CATCHES ROBERTO OUT OF THE AIR WITH A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! So much for that comeback..and now Duke stomps onto Roberto, draining the life out of him! This isn’t looking good at all for Roberto at all, as Duke pulls Roberto back up once again.. AND RIPCORDS THEM AROUND, CLOTHESLINING THEM DOWN! DUKE WITH THE COVER!
ONE!
…
TWO!!
…
Deadprez: ROBERTO WITH ANOTHER KICKOUT! I’m not all that sure that Roberto deciding to ask La Familia to leave was a great plan for him..he could’ve been getting some offense by now! Now we have Duke picking up Roberto…AND TOSSING HIM OUTSIDE THE RING! He hits the floor hard! Duke rolls outside the ring, as Roberto gets up…Duke is just stalking him, Roberto you gotta get outta there- BUT HE DOESN’T, AND DUKE NAILS ROBERTO WITH A BOOT ON THE OUTSIDE! Roberto keels over, and Duke pulls him towards the steel steps…AND SUPLEXS ROBERTO INTO THE STEPS!
Gavin Kirkland: DAMN…Duke rolls into the ring, and back out, breaking the count…again, like I said, they just dissect their opponent physically, breaking them down! Now Donovan pulls Roberto onto the announce table and backs up, Roberto trying to get up- DONOVAN LIFTS IP ROBERTO DRIVES HIS BACK INTO THE TABLE! Roberto falls down on our side of the table, absolutely wasted by Donovan Duke! He rolls into the ring, and doesn’t even get Roberto…is he going to take the countout win?
ONE!
…
TWO!!

THREE!!!
…
Eve: He just might be! Donovan taking the count-out is still a win for him, but I don’t see why he would…could he just be bored with Roberto? Trying to see if they will get up and fight? Wait, Roberto is getting back up! They’re gonna get back into the ring!
FOUR!!!!
…
FIVE!!!!!
…
SIX!!!!!!
…
Eve: It looks like Roberto isn’t even gonna have to, as Donovan rolls outside of the ring himself, breaking the count! What is the thought process behind this? I don’t think Roberto cares about what he’s thinking though, he’s just thinking about the beating he’s getting! Donovan lays in a boot, then goes to throw Roberto into the barricade- ROBERTO HOPS UP THE BARRICADE, AND NAILS A MOONSAULT!
Gavin Kirkland: DONOVAN IS FLOORED! NOW ROBERTO IS FIRED BACK UP, COULD THIS BE THE OPENING HE NEEDED? ROBERTO TOSSES DONOVAN BACK INSIDE THE RING, AND GOES UP TO THE APRON! Donovan gets up, and Roberto rolls into the ring, HITTING A ROLLING DROPKICK! Donovan is blasted by it, rolling into the corner! ROBERTO DE LA ROSA IS IN HIS ELEMENT! Roberto runs at Donovan, HITTING A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! He then hits the snapmare Donovan to the center of the ring, goes off the ropes, NAILING A METEORA! HE THEN COVERS DUKE!
ONE!

…
Eve: DUKE WITH A QUICK KICKOUT! ROBERTO GETS BACK UP, AND SO DOES DONOVAN, AND ROBERTO RUNS AT DUKE FOR A WHEELBARROW.. But Duke catches him, HOLDING HIM UP IN THE AIR.. AND PLANTING HIM WITH A FACEBUSTER! Roberto then pops to his knees off the impact, and Donovan picks Roberto off the ground, HOOKING HIM INTO A HALF-NELSON AND SPIKING HIM DOWN!
Deadprez: Just when Roberto tries his best to get things going for him, Duke is right there to be able to shut him down and break him apart whenever he has the chance! Roberto is able to push through and hit Duke right across the face with a punch! Despite the pain that Roberto is going through after the whole match, he is still fighting! Roberto knocks Donovan back with a punch and he steps back to bounce off the ropes! Duke quickly moves over and tries to lariat Roberto right across his neck but Roberto ducks down and runs to the other side of the ring, bouncing off there as well! Duke tries to go once again for another forearm-
Gavin Kirkland: Roberto does not let Duke go for it, he ends up jumping onto his shoulders and Roberto spins around, he goes for a headscissors all around Duke, using his agility to his advantage until he ends up behind Duke- ROBERTO HITS DUKE DOWN WITH A BACKSTABBER AND HE ENDS UP TRANSITIONING IT INTO A FACELOCK, ROBERTO PULLING BACK ON DUKE’S FACE AS FAR AS HE COULD TRYING TO MAKE HIM TAP OUT! Duke has been taken by surprise by Roberto’s sudden transition to a submission!
Eve: Duke is trying his best to slowly crawl forward and grab onto the ropes! Roberto tries his best to pull further back on the hold but Duke does not let up and is very close to touching the ropes- Donovan kicks off the ropes and then he rolls backwards while holding onto Donovan! He tries to go for the facelock again- BUT IN THAT MOMENT DUKE SLIPS RIGHT OUT OF ROBERTO’S GRASP AND GRABS ONTO HIS HAIR, PUSHING HIM OUT ONTO THE RING APRON AND THEN PULLING BACK- DUKE WITH A ROPE ASSISTED DDT! HE TURNS ROBERTO OVER AND THEN HE GOES FOR THE COVER!

Gavin Kirkland: BUT ROBERTO KICKS OUT YET AGAIN! HE IS NOT STAYING DOWN EASILY AND THAT FACT IRKS DONOVAN A LOT! Duke ends up getting on top of Roberto and he just starts laying out various strikes and forearms right onto Roberto’s face, trying to weaken him and trying to lay him out whatever way he can! But it seems that Donovan has had enough of playing games with Roberto here, he slowly pulls him along and then tries to push him up to his feet…
Eve: Donovan going for everything here, he grabs onto Roberto arms… he lifts him up… HE TRIES TO GO FOR HIS FINISHER, ROYAL FLUSH- ROBERTO USES HIS AGILITY TO FLIP OUT OF IT AND HE REVERSES IT INTO A SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB! ROBERTO QUICKLY COVERS DONOVAN DOWN!
ONE!

Deadprez: DUKE KICKS OUT JUST IN TIME BEFORE THE COUNT- ROBERTO ENDS UP GETTING UP TO HIS FEET AND STOMPS RIGHT ONTO DUKE’S CHEST! ROBERTO IS GOING THROUGH AN ADRENALINE RUSH AT THE MOMENT, RUNNING FORWARD TOWARDS THE ROPES AND JUMPING ONTO THEM…HE JUMPS OFF…ROBERTO TRIES TO GO FOR A SPRINGBOARD POISONRANA AS DUKE GETS UP- DONOVAN CATCHES HIM ON HIS SHOULDERS AND HOLDS HIM, HE TURNS HIM OVER AND DUKE TRIES TO GO FOR A POWERBOMB- ROBERTO FLIPS OUT OF IT- AND HE HITS DUKE DOWN WITH A HANDSPRING ENZUIGIRI! ROBERTO IS FIRED UP AT THE MOMENT, HE RUSHES TOWARDS ONE OF THE CORNERS, HE IS PREPARING TO HIT HIS SIGNATURE SPEAR!
Gavin Kirkland: DUKE WON’T STAY DOWN EITHER! HE RUSHES BACK UP AND HITS ROBERTO ACROSS THE BACK, PUMMELING HIM WITH STRIKES ON THE CORNER AS HE TURNS ROBERTO AROUND AND SLOWLY GETS HIM UP ON TOP OF THE CORNER! Duke gets up on the corner as well and seemingly is trying to go for a superplex, but Roberto still somehow finds energy inside himself to not let Duje get away with it, he throws strikes down onto his gut and pulls him away from him! The two of them start throwing strikes and haymakers on top of the corner! The two are almost on the verge of falling… DUKE GOES FOR ONE LAST PUNCH!
Eve: ROBERTO DODGES OUT OF THE WAY AND DONOVAN INSTEAD HITS THE METAL POLE OF THE RING! DUKE SCREAMS OUT IN PAIN AS ROBERTO USES THE OPPORTUNITY TO SUDDENLY GO AROUND DUKE, IS HE GOING TO DO WHAT I THINK?! AVALANCHE POISONRANA! DUKE LANDS HEAD FIRST ONTO THE MAT AND ROBERTO LANDS CLOSE TO THE CORNER! PERFECT PLACEMENT HERE FOR WHAT WE ARE ABOUT TO SEE! Roberto charges at Donovan with a “Talon De Águila” spear! NAILING HIM AND GETTING INTO COVER! WILL ROBERTO GET A BIG WIN OVER DONOVAN?!

Gavin Kirkland: DONOVAN JUST BARELY ABLE TO GET HIS SHOULDER UP! Roberto can’t believe it, he thought he had this match in the bag but Duke showing his resilience that has gotten him this far. Now these two are staring each other dead in each other’s face. Both of them run at each other hoping to get the upper hand in this situation and OH! They catch each other with clotheslines and both of them get to meet the mat! This has been a competitive contest since the opening bell and neither men are looking to give in or give up. Donovan Duke and Roberto, both are looking to make a statement with a victory over the other here tonight! Pushing each other to their absolute limit!
Eve: And now, both men are going to slowly begin to get back up to their feet, shaking the cobwebs out as they meet each other in the center of the ring, AND ROBERTO LOOKS TO SWING- DUCKED BY DONOVAN, WHO GOES AROUND AND BEHIND, HOOKING THE WAIST! GERMAN SUPLEX BY DONOVAN DUKE! ANOTHER GERMAN SUPLEX CONNECTS AND THAT TAKES ROBERTO DOWN INTO THE MAT! But Donovan isn’t done, not just yet, as it looks like he is going to continue onward! Duke is going to keep his grasp around the waist of Roberto, and he rolls through, popping right back up to his feet and bringing Roberto up as well, and Roberto looks to fight out of it…!
Deadprez: ANOTHER GERMAN SUPLEX BY DONOVAN CONNECTS, COMPLETELY TAKING THE WIND OUT OF ROBERTO AS HE HAD JUST GOTTEN DROPPED DOWN UPON HIS HEAD AND SHOULDERS! Duke is now going to bridge over into the pinfall!
ONE!

TWO!!

…
Gavin Kirkland: ANOTHER KICK OUT BY ROBERTO, AND THAT FORCES HIM RIGHT BACK UP TO HIS FEET IN THE PROCESS OF DOING SO! And Donovan is going to scramble back up to his feet as well, and he was just as shocked from the kick out of the back to back german suplexes he had connected with! Donovan swings in at Roberto, but Roberto is going to duck under it, looking like he had been brought right back to life of sorts, and he goes for a massive roundhouse kick, but it is sidestepped by Donovan! Duke scrambles out of the way as Roberto twists around to focus back on the opponent- DUKE COMES RUNNING IN AT ROBERTO! ROBERTO HAD JUST CAUGHT DUKE WITH A MASSIVE DROP KICK! THE DROPKICK CONNECTS AND THAT CATCHES AND TAKES DONOVAN OFF OF HIS FEET! Duke rolls away and he is going to use the ropes to get back up to his feet…Roberto is going to come from behind, as he wraps his arms around Duke’s waist and looks to pull him down and over into the rollup, but Donovan holds still and Roberto gets sent back down to the mat, popping right back up to his feet!-
Eve: BICYCLE PUMP KICK BY DUKE TAKES ROBERTO OFF OF HIS FEET! ROBERTO goes down and Donovan can have this match won right here, as he reaches and grabs Roberto by his hair, yanking him up to his feet, and he looks to bring him up onto his shoulders, BUT ROBERTO IS FIGHTING OUT OF IT! ROBERTO GOES AROUND AND HE CAPTURES DUKE INTO A DOUBLE UNDERHOOK, LIFTING HIM OFF HIS FEET AND INTO THE AIR FOR THE TIGER DRIVER ’98-
Gavin Kirkland: BUT NO! Donovan Duke manages to push Roberto off and away from him, and he is going to scramble back into the ropes, but Roberto comes running in- AND HE COMES CLOSING THE DISTANCE WITH A CLOTHESLINE THAT SENDS DONOVAN OUT OF THE RING! Roberto isn’t done there, Duke getting back up to his feet, and he jumps over the ropes, rushing over to the corner, AND ROBERTO JUMPS UP ONTO THE ROPES, AND HE COMES SPRINGING OFF WITH A MASSIVE MOONSAULT TAKING DUKE DOWN!
Eve: BOTH MEN GO DOWN AND THE CROWD IS OFF THEIR FEET RIGHT NOW! The referee is going to have no other choice but to start a count now, as both Roberto and Donovan Duke were stirring, looking to get back to their feet! OH AND LOOK AT THIS! DONOVAN DUKE INSTANTLY GRABS ROBERTO BY THE HAIR AS THEY GOT BACK UP TO THEIR FEET, AND HE SENDS HIM FLYING FULL SPEED AHEAD INTO THE BARRICADE!
Deadprez: Roberto and Donovan are starting to lose control of themselves and the referee is starting to lose control of this match, as Duke is now going to bring Roberto back, looking to throw him back into the ring! BUT INSTEAD OF GOING INTO THE RING, ROBERTO IS JUST GOING TO JUMP ONTO THE APRON, BEFORE JUMPING BACK, AND HE LANDS ONTO THE SHOULDERS OF DONOVAN! DONOVAN DUKE IS TRYING TO FIGHT AGAINST IT, LOOKING TO BRING ROBERTO DOWN… BUT THE ONLY WAY ROBERTO DE LA ROSA IS GOING DOWN, IS WITH DONOVAN AS WELL AS THEY CRASH TO THE FLOOR!
Gavin Kirkland: POISON RANA CONNECTS! POISON RANA LAYS DONOVAN DUKE OUT ON THE RINGSIDE MATS, BUT ROBERTO ISN’T MOVING EITHER, AND THE REFEREE IS GETTING CLOSE TO ACHIEVING HIS COUNT OF TEN! ROBERTO IS GOING TO SLOWLY BRING HIMSELF BACK UP TO HIS FEET, BUT HE WAS HURTING BAD! And Donovan is starting to get back up as well, neither man knows where they are at… and they are trying to get back into the ring!
NINE!!!!!!!!!!
…
Eve: ROBERTO GETS BACK INTO THE RING BUT DONOVAN IS UNABLE TOO! WHAT THE HELL?! RAEANGEL GUZMAN IS HELPING OUT LA FAMILIA BY HOLDING DONOVAN’S LEGS! THE REFEREE COUNTS TO TEN!
( DING! DING! DING! )
Gina Romano: HERE IS YOUR WINNER BY COUNTOUT…ROBERTO DE LA ROSA!!
Gavin Kirkland: ROBERTO DID IT! HE WON THE MATCH BUT I THINK HE WAS UNAWARE OF HOW HE DID SO! DONOVAN TRYING TO LOOK UNDERNEATH THE RING BUT RAEANGEL IS GONE!
Eve: Roberto, despite the condition of the win, still managed to take the fight to Donovan and it didn’t seem like he planned on the results ending up this way! Though matter what, this is going to be one hell of victory to brag about — La Familia is on top tonight!
(The camera cuts to Gina Romano in the ring.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen at this time… please welcome the Universal Women’s Champion… MILLLLLLLLLI BANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNKSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
(The crowd erupts as ‘Changed It’ by Nicki Minaj feat. Lil Wayne blasts across the speakers.)
Eve: THE CHAMP IS HERE!!
Gavin Kirkland: :ahh: OMG SHE’S SO FINE!
Deadprez: She is indeed a fine wrestler. And at Territorial Invasion she showed that!
Eve: Team Showdown came away with that victory in the main event. It was one of the most historic moments in EAW history. And it was in large part due to this woman right here!
Crowd: MILLI! MILLI! MILLI!
(The crowd takes a long time to calm down even after Milli’s music fades away as she dances in the ring and holds up the EAW Universal Women’s Championship on the top rope as the crowd goes wild.)
Eve: I think it is safe to say there is no one hotter in EAW right now than Milli!
Gavin Kirkland: I think I can get behind that.
Deadprez: ?
(Milli Banks is handed a microphone by Gina Romano who then leaves the ring as she begins to address her fans.)
Milli Banks: Thank you everyone! I can see you are all well aware of the news coming out of Territorial Invasion. I am so proud of Veena and Bronson. They defied the odds! WE defied the odds. Don’t think I am selling myself short at all! You all know that the champ can hold her own!
(The crowd cheers loudly, seemingly agreeing with her.)
Milli Banks: Voltage and Dynasty just didn’t know what hit them. But they know now. It was a SUPERNOVA that hit them! And they just couldn’t stand up to the World Boss! But they shouldn’t feel bad about that. Because I have shown that very few can! I mean I am the Universal Women’s Champion for a reason! I think it is clear that even if there are other champions in this company, when Territorial Invasion came to a close there was ONE that the whole world was talking about. They were talking about Showdown. They were talking about Team Showdown. But they were also talking about… ME!
(Milli Banks laughs as she holds up her championship one more time.)
Milli Banks: But do you remember what I said last week? Don’t think I’m getting arrogant or complacent or anything just because I got a big win at TI. No way, not me! I don’t take days off. In fact, what I said last week resonates now more than ever. I have heard the bragging, and the taunts made by every single man or woman with a belt in this company. They all think they are the best because they retained or won a title at Territorial Invasion. I didn’t do that, but we are going to change that! I am going to be defending this championship more. Now that TI is in the rear view it is time to stop focusing so much on Showdown pride and start focusing on my own pride as the top of this division! War Games are over… but the war has just begun for your girl!
Crowd: MILLI! MILLI! MILLI!
Milli Banks: But who should I face? Hmmm… that is a good question. But I have an even better answer for you all. This is Showdown and WE WRESTLE. I’ve seen that other Showdown champions are willing to take on all comers. TLA. Kassidy Heart. Sienna Jade. Veena Adams. We have the best champions here on Showdown don’t we folks? But I am going to show that I am the ONE champion to watch here on the blue brand and that means that I don’t care who it is… I AM TAKING ON ALL CHALLENGERS!!!
(The crowd continues to cheer at Milli Banks’ bold statement that she is willing to face anyone for her championship. She pauses for a moment and looks around the arena.)
Milli Banks: I gotta say… I kind of expected someone would come out and interrupt me after all that. I mean I just laid out a challenge to the whole locker room. You would think there is some woman out there who wants it. I mean anyone really. We have a lot of hungry female talent backstage. Raeangel. Anna. Nikki. Harper. Auburn. Lots of them. Are you telling me none of you are just going to come out and get some. Come on now… I know some of you might be busy preparing for your matches and not even watching me but there has to be at least someone who wants some of the Supernova!
Eve: I am surprised too. I thought we would get an answer for Milli. Maybe everyone just wants to let her enjoy the night? As a favor for her bringing respect and glory to Showdown with that big win in the War Games match.
Deadprez: That was then and this is now. Like Milli said that was about Showdown pride. But this is about pride of being the best woman in the ga-
(Suddenly ‘The End’ by Lil Uzi Vert ft. BABYMETAL blasts across the speakers as the crowd is surprised to see who is coming out to confront Milli.)
Eve: Oh nah what the hell…
Gavin Kirkland: This is Showdown right…
Deadprez: It is… but Milli did say ANYONE!
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen at this time please welcome… ‘THE HUNTRESS’…. KASAI!!!!
(The former Specialists Champion confidently makes her way down to the ring, with a crazed look in her eyes. The crowd is buzzing over this, and even the champ seems to be amused by who is coming to greet her. KASAI takes her time getting into the ring, and then takes a moment to play to the crowd. Then, she grabs a microphone and focuses on Milli.)
Milli Banks: It is uh great to see you, KASAI, but are you sure you’re on the right show?
KASAI: Come on now Milli. You did say ANYONE right?
Milli Banks: You are damn right I did!
KASAI: Good good. Because you mentioned something that really resonated with me. You said that you want to be the best champion in this business. You got a huge victory for Showdown at Territorial Invasion. Which is great. Congratulations! But then you didn’t defend your title. But you know who did? I DID.
Milli Banks: And how did that work out for you?
(KASAI grins, despite the situation.)
KASAI: I had to watch Daniella Atlas walk away with the Specialists Championship. As frustrating as that situation was, it certainly did open some other doors for me.
(Milli nods her head, because she does understand where KASAI is coming from.)
KASAI: But, I still defended my title. Now, I don’t blame you for jumping at the chance to compete in a match like War Games, and I tip my hat to you for pulling off the win for Showdown. But now that Territorial Invasion is in the past, we both need to look forward. You need challengers, or the criticism that has been heaped at you by champions such as Minerva becomes valid. You need to prove your reign. You need to prove yourself as a worthy Universal Women’s Champion, because otherwise what even are you? You are the pride of Showdown. You brought glory to this neat little brand. But can you bring glory to yourself? You are an untested champion as far as the majority of the EAW Universe is concerned.
Milli Banks: And who died to make you some gatekeeper of the women’s division? Look, you had a cute little Specialists Championship reign and all, but there’s a big difference when it comes to beating the Ashlynn Quinns of the world, and facing someone like me. You’re looking to step up, KASAI, periodt.
(KASAI pats Milli gently on the shoulder.)
KASAI: I am looking to step up, and what better way than capping off a successful Specialists Championship reign than by winning the Universal Women’s Championship? There is no better time for me than right now, Milli. You went from such a high winning the War Games match at Territorial Invasion to now having to come back down and experience the reality that you are not the best woman in this company. I know you like to think you are, but defend your title and prove it. Defend it against me. I would like to make the claim that I’m the best woman in this company too, and in order to do that, I have to take that title from you. I see no better place for it to happen than at The Last Stand! Because Milli? It’s going to be your Last Stand as champion… before it all comes crumbling down and the title comes back to the woman who wants to change the EAW Women’s Division for the better!
(The crowd explodes clearly hyped by this intriguing match encounter between KASAI and Milli Banks at the Last Stand. Milli looks around to her fans before raising the microphone to give her answer to KASAI.)
Milli Banks: You know what??? YOU’RE ONNNNNNNNNN!!!
(The crowd erupts as Milli Banks forcefully grabs the hand of KASAI shaking it intensely and pulling her in face to face as the two continue talking smack inaudible to the audience with the noise they are making.)
(Milli Banks raises the championship high into the air as ‘Changed It’ by Nicki Minaj feat. Lil Wayne blasts across the speakers.)
Eve: What a match! It’s on! This is going to be huge!
Deadprez: The former Specialists Champion, KASAI, against our Univer-
(Suddenly as Milli Banks is going to leave the ring, KASAI rushes in and lays her out with nasty jumping knee strike to the back of the head.)
Eve: What the hell?!?!? WHY DID SHE DO THAT?
KASAI: Shhhh… Shhhh…
(KASAI shushes the crowd which is starting to boo her for her actions against the beloved Showdown champion.)
KASAI: Come on now people… don’t forget… remember who ‘The Huntress’ is here…BITCH!
(KASAI slams the microphone down hard right next to Milli Banks’ head as she storms out of the ring. Her theme music begins to play instead as she makes her way up the ramp.)
Gavin Kirkland: Well, KASAI just gave Milli Banks a little taste of exactly who she is as a competitor.
Eve: These fans don’t appreciate it but it is clear that KASAI came out, got her title shot… AND got into the head of the champion!
Deadprez: Most definitely. KASAI is one of those dangerous competitors who will do whatever it takes to win, and is certainly looking to leave her mark here in EAW. Will The Last Stand truly be the last night for Milli Banks as champion?!?!
(The camera cuts to a commercial for the Robbie V documentary on Netflix.)
(The camera pans backstage to Alana Starr who is standing inside the offices of the General Manager. AJAX is seen standing in the corner.)
Alana Starr: Showdown fans! I know that you are wondering right now with the last Stand only five weeks away, and in the Mecca of Professional Wrestling, the most famous building of them all, coming from Madison Square Garden, and it is a very exciting time for us especially after winning both Brand Warfare and War Games at Territorial Invasion.
(The fans cheer hearing this.)
Alana Starr: But as we are still on our high when it comes to what happened at Territorial Invasion, there are still some huge matches that are slated for The Last Stand, but last year we saw the Temple of Trials, where two teams of four wrestled one another in a triple stacked cage that the first team to escape would be the winners. There were a lot of implications that we saw when this match happened, and one of them was seeing Veena Adams earning a shot to eventually become the National Elite Champion. We have also had this match for the Answers World Championship when it was called the Towering Inferno. This match has had a history and what Kennedy Street, and I have discussed is that at Madison Square Gardens the Temple of Trials match will return!
(The crowd again cheers loudly as Alana smiles; she continues to speak.)
Alana Starr: And in the next few weeks, we will determine who will be in the Temple of Trials match and the Main Event at The Last Stand! I want to thank you all for….
(She is interrupted though by The Jaded Hearts who both walk into the office with the Unified Tag Team Championships over their shoulders. Alana slowly turns to face them.)
Kassidy Heart: That is all great and everything, but what we should be talking about is the greatest Tag Team of all time retaining the Championships at Territorial Invasion and fending off Fire & Ice, but do you know what we realized during that celebration earlier? We were not mentioned. Two of the absolute best in the world on any division and any level, and we were not mentioned?
Sienna Jade: And that is why we came up here to talk to Kennedy for the lack of respect, and instead we get you. We get it, announcing some stupid gimmick match for your Main Event is such a huge deal for you and all, but let’s tackle the real bender here, that we are champions and there is NO ONE left for us to beat. Look, Voltage has that lame Tag Team Turmoil thing going on over there and that is basically to see who loses to us next, so where does that leave left, huh? See, that is your bigger concern considering there is NO ONE left to challenge us.
(Alana Starr says nothing and allows them to continue speaking.)
Kassidy Heart: Everyone knows that this brand should be focused around us. We have done it all and are the names that should be centered around, and instead you want to talk about that contraption thing. We are not interested, and no one else is either, so how about you do your job that my husband hired you to do and find us some contenders, shall we? Instead of all this celebratory crap that is going on because Showdown finally showed some guile and won Territorial Invasion, a feat every other brand has done with ease.
Sienna Jade: We will be waiting, and since you nor Kennedy understand why we are the biggest stars in this company, maybe you will. So, next week, we are going to go out to the ring, and we are going to call you out specifically, Alana and expect an answer on who our challengers will be at The Last Stand AND how we will be spotlighted as the greatest two females to ever walk into this company.
(Alana again says nothing and instead just smiles and nods.)
Kassidy Heart: We see a lot of nodding and smiling and no speaking, so I will ask you one more time so that there is no confusion here, are we clear about our demands and we expect them to be done next week.
Sienna Jade: Simple yes or no.
Alana Starr: Yes.
Kassidy Heart: Okay good, we will leave you alone now so that you can continue your little speech. But just remember that we are the center of the universe here, are we clear?
Alana Starr: Crystal.
Kassidy Heart: Good.
Sienna Jade: Byeeee.
(The Unified Tag Team Champions walk out of the office as Alana looks on, she then takes a deep breath before turning back to the camera and signaling to cut to a commercial before the Main Event begins.)
(Showdown fades back in as the crowd roars with excitement, knowing what match is up next, while Gina Romano prepares to announce it.)
Gina Romano: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOUR MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Kostas’ by Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine & Benny the Butcher blares through the PA system as Cody Maverick struts out, brimming with confidence. He points at the crowd, some of whom chant his name while others cheer him on. With swagger in his step, Maverick makes his way to the ring, soaking in the crowd’s energy. He climbs a turnbuckle and strikes a pose before turning his gaze toward the entrance, awaiting his opponent.
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST!… FROM LAS VEGAS, NEVADA!… WEIGHING IN AT 235 POUNDS!… THE SIN CITY SUPERSTAR!… CODYYYYYYYYY… MAVERICKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!
Gavin Kirkland: In case you didn’t know, this is one of the men who led Showdown to victory during Brand Warfare! #SDSweep
Eve: Indeed! A tremendous achievement for Cody, being part of that monumental victory. He’s elevated his career to new heights, and this season will be a different chapter for Maverick.
Deadprez: Cody keeps getting better with each match, proving to everyone that he’s constantly improving. He’s working hard to make the “Sin City Superstar” moniker even more iconic. That’s no small feat!
(Maverick circles the ring, his eyes locked on the entrance as ‘Olé’ by The Bouncing Souls hits the speakers. Ryan Joseph Wilson strides out, spinning his fist before thrusting it into the air, the crowd loudly singing along to his theme. Ryan shoots a focused glance at Cody as he makes his way to the ring, removing his jacket and ignoring the cheers to fully concentrate on the task ahead.)
Gina Romano: INTROFUCING HIS OPPONENT!… FROM MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC, CANADA!… WEIGHING IN AT 225 POUNDS!… THE WORKHORSE!… RYAN!… JOSEPH!… WILSONNNNNNN!
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan had a strong showing despite his loss at Territorial Invasion for the Answers World Championship. Tonight, he’s looking to rebound by going head-to-head with someone on the rise, just like him.
Eve: Ryan has been around for a while, and though he’s considered a veteran, a string of failures and losses has largely overshadowed his career. This match is crucial for him to redeem what’s still salvageable.
Deadprez: I feel for Ryan. He’s been through a lot over the years, but I hope he can turn things around. He’s got what it takes to become someone the fans love, and he deserves to achieve something meaningful in his career!
(DING DING DING!
Gavin Kirkland: Showdown Main Event featuring Ryan Joseph Wilson and Cody Maverick is underway. These two men have experienced vastly different outcomes following the Territorial Invasion. Ryan, unfortunately, suffered a setback in his battle for the Answers World Championship, while Cody Maverick found success in his first-ever Brand Warfare match, thanks to SOSA Henderson, who saved the entire team from potential embarrassment.
Deadprez: Ryan has faced failure time and time again, but as Cody says, everything leading to his own success is just getting started, while Ryan seems to be slowly and gradually falling apart. But will all the assumptions and heated words exchanged between them be enough for one to overcome the other tonight? We are about to find out, as both men clash in the center of the ring with a collar-and-elbow tie-up!
Eve: But Ryan quickly advances like a vicious cobra, locking Cody in a tight waistlock from behind. Cody immediately starts thrashing about, struggling like a prey caught in Wilson’s grip!
Gavin Kirkland: Maverick quickly bends forward, sending Joseph Wilson crashing onto the ground by tripping one of Ryan’s legs. He then turns around and takes control of Ryan’s leg, slowly twisting the hold on his left calf.
Eve: Ryan raises his hands tactically, searching for an opportunity to turn the tables and find an advantage against Maverick. The Sin City Superstar plays it smart, using his left knee to spike down onto Ryan’s popliteal fossa—the back of his knee! Ryan’s hands instinctively cover his leg in pain as Cody relentlessly drives his knee into the same spot, aiming to exploit what is now becoming a weakness.
Deadprez: More accurately, Cody is creating that weakness, right? Ryan entered this match in strong form, but Cody is working on one part of Ryan’s body, hoping to use it as the key to securing a victory in this singles main event of his.
Eve: Maverick now drags Wilson back to his feet and quickly Irish whips him toward the corner. Maverick follows up and knocks the wind out of Wilson with a quick clothesline! Maverick ends up leaning against the corner as Ryan stumbles out, and Maverick leaps off the ground… LEAPING NECKBREAKER!
Deadprez: Nailed it!
Gavin Kirkland: Definitely! He nails it! Cody quickly goes for the cover!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan gets his shoulder up at two! Maverick wastes no time, sending Ryan through the ropes to the outside as he slowly follows, stalking Ryan from behind while he recovers from the neckbreaker.
(Cody approaches, pointing at Ryan and talking trash.)
Cody Maverick (Off-Mic): Come on, Ryan! I didn’t wait all week just for this weak stuff!
Gavin Kirkland: A smack talk from Cody is followed by a physical one, as a hard forearm club connects with Ryan’s back, sending him crashing down onto the concrete ground by the ringside area! Cody picks Ryan up, dragging him to his feet, seizing his wrist again and looking to throw him right into the steel steps.
Deadprez: Ryan gets thrown- NO! Wilson leaps over the steps and sticks the landing on his feet with crazy agility! Seeing what’s up, Maverick comes charging after him, but Ryan sidesteps and darts back into the ring. Maverick slides in, only to walk right into Ryan’s hands, who hits him with a smooth Northern Lights Suplex, putting Maverick on the mat!
Eve: Maverick counters with multiple elbow strikes to the side of Ryan’s head, forcing him to release the hold. Maverick runs towards the ropes as Ryan counters with a Back Body Drop, sending Maverick over the ropes and onto the flat surface of the apron! Ryan turns around, only to meet a precise forearm strike from Maverick, landing squarely on his chin, sending the workhorse of the match down towards the center of the ring.
Gavin Kirkland: Maverick now has Ryan in his sights, looking to launch himself back into the ring with a Slingshot Shoulder Block but Ryan quickly stops him in his tracks with a Right Boot, knocking Cody off the apron!
Deadprez: Maverick tries to regain his footing, but Ryan is already on the move, sprinting from the center of the ring, leaping across the ropes, and running up to the metal middle turnbuckle connector near the apron!… RYAN WITH THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE MOONSAULT TO OUTSIDE TAKING THE SIN CITY SUPERSTAR OUT!
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan counters with a stellar takedown on the outside, hitting a beautiful moonsault that would be worth a million bucks to watch in slow-motion replay. The Workhorse continues putting in hard work in this main event, picking up the pace and sending a stunned Cody rolling back inside the ring.
Eve: Wilson now jumps up to the apron, holding onto the top rope while watching Cody from a distance. Maverick slowly regains his footing after the moonsault takedown he just endured on the outside, with Ryan locking his sights on him… SPRINGBOARD FOREARM SMASH PUTS CODY RIGHT BACK WHERE HE WAS! Wilson hooks the leg this time around!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Eve: TWO! Not Three just yet! Wilson watches as Maverick kicks out, seemingly refocusing after a minor misstep between them. Wilson slowly locks Cody in a tight headlock, aiming to keep Maverick trapped with nowhere to go.
Deadprez: Maverick, however, begins to stretch and crawl out of the headlock that Ryan is applying from the side. The Sin City Superstar isn’t in a good spot at the moment but starts to rise from the ground, though Wilson still holds the upper hand. Maverick takes a brief moment, but Ryan continues to tactically outplay him with the strategic headlock before pushing him back down towards the ropes and then releasing him to the outside of the ring.
Gavin Kirkland: Maverick stops at the center of the ring while Ryan bounces back off the ropes, sliding underneath. Ryan steps over and back as Maverick leaps off the ground, but Ryan goes under but Ryan quickly pulls off a stop from behind, hooking both of Maverick’s arms down and swiftly taking him over into a backslide for a quick cover!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Gavin Kirkland: STILL kicking out at two, but Cody turns it into one of his own with a jackknife roll through, putting Ryan in place and looking to steal it right here instead! He’s well known for ending matches like that as well!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Gavin Kirkland: THREE- NO ALMOST!
Eve: Back and forth they go, neither one willing to relent. Cody is quickly back on his feet, drawing the clothesline toward Ryan. But Ryan ducks underneath just in time and counters with a hard lariat to the back of Cody’s head! The Northern Lariat connects! Cody is stunned and finds himself in a dangerous position.
Deadprez: Ryan, leaning against the ropes, regains his composure while Maverick struggles to recover from the heavy blow. Ryan now heads toward Cody, charging in for a running knee strike, setting up for a Superman Punch 2.4!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: But Maverick, despite the earlier hit, catches Ryan mid-run and spins around… POW! PLANTING AN IMPACTFUL SIDEWALK SLAM THAT PUTS RYAN BACK IN HIS PLACE! MAVERICK COVERS!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Gavin Kirkland: TWO as Ryan lifts his shoulder off the ground!
Deadprez: EAW Chinese audience here seems quite pleased with what they’ve been watching so far. Both competitors have had nothing short of exciting performances. Maverick, still hurting from those earlier blows, is slowly getting back to his feet after landing one on Ryan just moments ago.
Eve: Now, Maverick, positioned in the corner, is gearing up for a strike of his own as Wilson struggles to rise. Maverick could be looking to finish things early, turning the tables after Ryan had tried to end it himself. Maverick moves in!… LIGHTS OUT!
Gavin Kirkland: HE’S GOT THE ARM! Ryan catches the incoming arm that Maverick was supposed to hit him with, countering the Superman Punch. He twists it out and pushes Maverick back with an Uppercut Québécois, landing squarely on his chin! Another one for good measure, almost sending Maverick crashing to the ring mat!
Deadprez: Wilson turns his back against Cody as the cry of the warrior echoes through the arena. Wilson looks to run- BUT MAVERICK GRABS THE BACK OF HIS PANTS, PULLING HIM IN AND SEIZING HIS ARM FROM UNDERNEATH…. CODY LIFTS RYAN UP FOR THE HIGH ROLLER, BUT RYAN TURNS THE FINISHER INTO A SMALL PACKAGE ROLL-UP! RYAN IS LOOKING TO STEAL IT!!!!!!!………….
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREE!-
Deadprez: THRE- WOAH!
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan almost had it just there! A very close call once again from the Workhorse, nearly stealing a win from Cody Maverick, but he’s not quite managing to clutch it! Wilson rolls back to his feet, pulling his right leg back, aiming straight for Cody’s jaw, looking for a Superkick to set up his Four Hit Combo!
Eve: Maverick catches it while struggling on both legs, trying to avoid taking a direct hit from Wilson earlier! Maverick slowly rises to his feet, delivering an axe handle to Wilson’s leg, sending him down to one knee. Maverick steps in… DEADLIFTING RYAN WILSON OFF THE GROUND FROM HIS KNEE POSITION STRAIGHT INTO A FISHERMAN’S BUSTER, PRECISELY SPIKING RYAN’S HEAD TO THE GROUND! Maverick rolls him over for the cover! Could this be it for tonight?
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Eve: RYAN KICKS OUT YET AGAIN! The desperate will to win is the only thing these two men have in common heading into this match. Main Event Showdown has already been a huge deal for anyone stepping up to the plate, and everyone wants to prove they have more than what they’ve shown so far.
Gavin Kirkland: This match, in particular, has highlighted the intense demand for victory between these two men. Wilson can be seen rolling away to the side, still clutching the back of his neck in pain from the Fisherman’s Buster.
Deadprez: Maverick’s back on his feet, eyes locked on Ryan, stalking him while he struggles to get up from both knees. Maverick slowly hauls Ryan up, pushing him into the corner… HITS HIM WITH A MEAN CHOP, making Ryan slump back against the middle turnbuckle!
Eve: The sound of the chop echoes around the arena, signaling that Maverick is determined to win this match, showing his fierce intent with every strike. Maverick now pulls Ryan back against the corner again, and this time… ANOTHER CHOP CONNECTS!
Gavin Kirkland: One chop after another, and now Maverick is firing off like a machine gun! CHOP! CHOP! CHOP! Reloading and firing, the machine gun chops have Ryan in a very bad position! Maverick now puts Ryan in his place, and you can see a glimpse of hope fading from Ryan after being brutally battered by those chops. Maverick leans back against Ryan for a moment, then sets off, running towards the opposite corner as he goes- OH!
Deadprez: OH! THE HELLUVA KICK FROM RYAN AT THE OPPOSITE CORNER! Wilson pulls out all the stops, sneaking up and running down the same path as Maverick from behind. Just as Maverick turns around, Wilson connects with a hit!
Eve: Wilson pulls Maverick out of the corner, leaving him stunned. Maverick doesn’t see much of Ryan, but a slight glance at him shows Ryan already stepping onto the second rope, making his way up to the top!… WHISPER IN THE WIND BY RJW TAKING HIM DOWN!
Gavin Kirkland: That’s not it just yet! Wilson knows sheer brute force isn’t enough to end this bout! He slowly gets back to his feet and starts climbing his way up to the top! Maverick is completely down on the ground! Wilson is heading up to the top this time, with Maverick locked in his sights! It might be over for Maverick! Wilson is looking to fly high! Here he comes!… FROG SPLASH ON MAVERICK! RYAN COVERS!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Gavin Kirkland: TWO! MAVERICK KICKS OUT! SO CLOSE! SO CLOSE! Wilson now rolls away from Maverick right after the kick-out, and he’s all fired up from the attack he launched earlier!
Deadprez: Wilson pulls himself up using the middle rope, getting back to his feet, while Maverick struggles to regain his footing. Wilson has his sights set high and begins rolling through just as Maverick gets back to his feet!… RIGHT INTO THE SPEAR!
Eve: DROPPED WILSON ON HIS HEAD WITH A DDT COUNTER! Wilson was aiming straight for the roll-through and spear combination to cut Maverick in half, but Maverick figured it out in a split second, putting Ryan in his place immediately!
Gavin Kirkland: Maverick isn’t done yet! He still has Ryan in the same grasp that led to the DDT, and now he’s dragging him back to his feet, lifting him up from the ground! Maverick hoists both of Ryan’s legs up to the top rope and immediately hits the MONEYMAKER! HANGMAN’S DDT! HE DOES IT! MAVERICK QUICKLY ROLLS RYAN OVER FOR THE COVER! HE’S GOT HIM! HOOKING THE LEG FOR THE WIN!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREE!-
Gavin Kirkland: JUST TWO! At the very last second, when we thought it was about to be over, Maverick still couldn’t secure the win over Wilson. He still has a long way to go to fairly overcome Ryan Josephson Wilson in this match!
Eve: Maverick has done considerable damage so far, and that should be enough offense to soon take Ryan out! Maverick is now slowly stalking Ryan from behind as Ryan tries to recover from the Money Maker that connected earlier. Maverick is coming up from behind, turning Ryan around to face him!.. SIN CITY STUNNERRRRRRRRRRRR………..
Deadprez: RYAN SAVES HIMSELF WITH A HANDSTAND, AVOIDING BEING TAKEN OUT OF THIS MATCH! Maverick realizes what just happened, but it’s too late! A SUPERKICK CONNECTS PRECISELY TO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD! Ryan immediately turns things around in his favor!… A HIGH KNEE TO MAVERICK’S JAW FOLLOWS, AND THEN A DISCUS LARIAT SENDS MAVERICK SPINNING 360 DEGREES!
Gavin Kirkland: Maverick lands right into both knees, setting it up perfectly for Ryan to pick him up… INTO A DEADLIFT SUPLEX DOUBLE KNEE BACKBREAKER, FINISHING OFF THE FOUR HIT COMBO ON MAVERICK! RYAN ROLLS HIM OVER INTO A QUICK COVER!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREE!-
Gavin Kirkland: THREE! YES!
Eve: Maverick is able to lift his shoulder off the ground slowly, pulling himself away from losing this battle! The score can’t be settled just yet, as Ryan has not been able to defeat Cody so far! He still has to struggle against him as well!
Deadprez: Wilson can be seen pounding the ground hard, drawing energy from the cheering crowd here tonight, excited for this great main event matchup! Wilson picks up both of Maverick’s legs, possibly looking to wrap this one up quickly! Ryan has him… LOOKING FOR THE SHARPSHOOTER!
Gavin Kirkland: Maverick isn’t allowing that to happen, using one of his free legs to kick Ryan away just when he’s about to lock it in!
Eve: Ryan is pushed backward, landing near the ropes! Maverick can’t get back to his feet quickly, and Ryan takes his time, moving to pick up Maverick again… MAVERICK WITH AN INSIDE CRADLE ROLL-UP! HE’S GOT RYAN! WILSON WALKED RIGHT INTO THE TRAP!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Gavin Kirkland: ONE! TWO!… NO! Ryan manages to escape that one as Maverick gets back to his feet, stumbling into the corner, still faint and groggy from the hard shots Ryan used earlier to complete the Four Hit Combo!
Deadprez: Ryan sees Cody didn’t do much damage and makes a move toward the corner to keep the heat on! But Maverick throws his right boot up high, catching Ryan and sending him stumbling back to the middle of the ring. Maverick wastes no time, rushing over to Wilson and dragging him to the same corner, ready to meet him head-on!… MAVERICK’S EXPLODER SUPLEX SENDS RYAN UPSIDE DOWN INTO THE CORNER!
Eve: Despite his legs barely supporting him, Maverick quickly gets back to his feet, grabbing the ropes for balance and pulling himself up!… PLEASE DON’T DIE! MAVERICK SPRINGS OFF THE MIDDLE ROPE AND LANDS A MOONSAULT ON RYAN, DROPPING INTO A COVER!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Eve: AND STILL A KICK OUT! Maverick knows he has Ryan exactly where he wants him and wastes no time setting up for the finish right here. His right hand is raised high into the air, and he begins charging himself up.
Gavin Kirkland: Maverick’s hand slowly turning bright gold, his eyes filled with fire, and his face turning red with intensity, while Ryan, having no idea where he is at the moment, slowly rises from the ground like a dead man walking. Maverick is now looking to drive that right fist straight through his face!.. LIGHTS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!……………..
Deadprez: A REVERSAL AGAIN! WILSON SPINS THINGS AROUND, SENDING CODY FLYING UP INTO THE AIR WITH HIS GRIP!… LAUNCHING CODY HIGH INTO THE AIR WITH THAT GRIP!… LA BOMBE BLEU HITS CLEAN, SLAMMING MAVERICK DEAD CENTER IN THE RING AS SOON AS HE SPINS OUT! RYAN NAILS THE BLUE THUNDER BOMB AND GOES STRAIGHT FOR THE PIN!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREE!-
Deadprez: TWO TWO! THAT’S STILL TWO! No matter what Wilson has tried to do, and how impressive the damage has become, his opponent is still willing to stay for another day, refusing to go down without a fight!
Gavin Kirkland: Maverick continues to demand victory in this match, with just one defining kick out, right there! Meanwhile, Wilson keeps getting closer and closer to the reality of seeing his victory in this match. Wilson slowly dares Maverick, locking eyes with him one last time.
Ryan Joseph Wilson: (Off-Mic) THIS MAIN EVENT!… IS **MINE** TO WIN!
Gavin Kirkland: AND RYAN HOOKS HIM UP FOR THE FINISH!… MIC DROP!!!!!!!!!
Eve: Maverick is getting away with it! Both of his legs are shaking, and he’s fighting against Ryan, causing him to lose control. Maverick slowly lands safely in front of him and immediately lifts Ryan onto his shoulders! Maverick still has some strength left to save himself in this battle!… POWERBOMB!!!!!!!
Deadprez: Maverick isn’t done yet, rolling Ryan to both knees and running straight in! … KNEE STRIKE! Ryan is leaning towards him! Come on, Cody!
Gavin Kirkland: Cody almost had him there! Maverick gets to his feet, and the Sin City Superstar sets Wilson up! Wilson can barely walk at this point, slowly advancing and struggling to focus, turning towards Maverick as he charges at him!… LIGHTS OUT!!!!!!!!! SUPERMAN PUNCH FINALLY HITS AND KNOCKS RYAN AS HARD AS POSSIBLE! CODY COVERS!!!!!!!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREE!EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!-
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan has managed to escape, still at two, by barely lifting his shoulder off the ground, and Maverick could not believe it! Oh my god, that’s not a good look for Ryan either! :lupes: Can we get a replay of what just happened right there?!
(Main scene shows Ryan spitting blood onto the ring’s floor before it minimizes to a small screen in the bottom right corner, as the main replay plays in slow motion. Cody lands the Superman Punch with precise accuracy, showing Ryan being hit hard across the jaw, indicating the sheer force Cody put into that one punch, almost intending to knock Ryan out for good without using his finisher. Ryan spitting blood illustrates just how hard that punch was.)
Gavin Kirkland: Ouch! That might be the hardest punch Cody has ever thrown!
Eve: Ryan is struggling hard to get back to his feet, blood spilling from the hard, cold punch Cody just delivered. Cody is stalking Ryan, having him right where he wants him once again. Cody might be looking to end this just like that! Ryan seems to have lost control of his composure!… A KICK TO THE GUT AND!… SIN CITY STUNNER!!!!!!!!!
Deadprez: NO! NO! HE’S TAKING DOWN THE ARM JUST AS CODY TRIES TO APPLY THE STUNNER, AND HE TURNS CODY RIGHT INTO A QUICK MAGISTRAL CRADLE ROLL-UP! RYAN’S GOT HIM! RYAN OUTSMARTED HIM TO ACHIEVE THIS VICTORY!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREE!EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!-
Deadprez: OH SO CLOSE! SOOOOOO CLOSEEEEEEE BUT CODY KICKS OUT!
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan quickly wipes the blood off his mouth and rushes towards Cody. Cody immediately positions himself, trying to land the Deep End!
Eve: A SPINEBUSTER SEEMS IMMINENT TO PLANT RYAN AND END IT, BUT RYAN LEAPS OVER, USING MAVERICK’S FORCE OF ENERGY… SKIPPING OVER AND TURNING CODY INTO A SUNSET FLIP ROLL-UP! HE GOT HIM FOR THE SECOND TIME!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Eve: AND YET AGAIN! CODY KICKS OUT!
Deadprez: Cody has been trying to escape as much as he could, while Ryan is doing everything he can to outsmart the Sin City Superstar, determined to win this match even if his power alone couldn’t overcome Cody!
Gavin Krikland: Maverick gets back to his feet, and Wilson quickly nails a kick to his gut, looking to lift him high for the Mic Drop—Small Package Driver!… CODY ESCAPES BY BACKKICKING OUT OF THE GRASP! Cody pushes Ryan away… KICK TO THE GUT AND SIN CITY STUNNER! YES! THAT’S IT! HE GOES FOR A COVER!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!….
Gavin Kirkland: WHAT IS GOING ON!?!??!?!
Deadprez: Who the hell are these minions??!?!
Eve: Those cloaks look familiar, just like the ones we saw at Territorial Invasion! Those are the Druids who tried to help Ruler win the Answers World Championship! What are they doing here?!?! Why are they attacking both men?!??!
(DING DING DING DING DING DING!)
Gavin Kirkland: The situation is completely out of control! Five, six, seven guys— I don’t even know how many are out there, beating both men to a pulp! What is their business here? Is this some kind of twisted, dark magic scheme from Ruler again? What is their deal here?!?!
(While the Druids continue attacking both Ryan and Cody, who are already defenseless, the camera pans down to ringside, showing Ruler appearing with Zariah Kennedy by his side as they slowly walk toward the ring. Ruler clasps his hands together while the Druids begin piling Ryan and Cody on top of each other. Ruler then sits down in the center of the ring, with Zariah standing by his side, as the Druids surround them, humming something ominous.)
Druids: (Off-Mic, Repeating) HE WHO WIELDS SHADOWED POWER SHALL LOSE HIS SOUL TO ENDLESS NIGHT. HE WHO CALLS UPON THE FORBIDDEN WILL BE BOUND IN CHAINS OF HIS OWN MAKING.
Gavin Kirkland: ….
Deadprez: ….
Eve: …..
(Crowd goes completely silent and confused as the lights slowly dim. Flashlights from the audience begin to shine, and a bright light illuminates Ruler’s face, clearly showing his sinister smile directed at the hard cam.)
Deadprez: I don’t know what the hell is going on here, but we will see you next week! Where a lot of questions will be answered, and The Last Stand card will start to form! For Eve and Gavin Kirkland! Goodnight everyone!
(It is Ruler who stands over the fallen Elitists as chilling scene is the final shot before it fades to black.)
