(EAW intro plays)
(Showdown opens up with a recap of last week’s show. Daryl Kinkade defeats Delilah Rose and Kirk Redwood to qualify for the last spot in the Showdown EEC. All of the competitors in the chamber then come out after the match and they say their own piece. AJAX and Auburn have some bonding time that gets interrupted by Jade Phoenix teasing and insulting them, which makes Auburn and her get into a quick brawl before they get broken up. Nikki Kimura is able to achieve a victory against Damien Kutcher. Candice talks about what has happened at The Last Stand and what she plans to do next, before getting interrupted by IDOL-GUN who makes fun of her. Ashlynn Quinn, Kasai and Nikki Kimura all give their reasons on who will be able to win the Specialists Championship. Solomon Stane defeats Mattias Burke. ARIA and Usagi have another talk between each other, in which ARIA finally doesn’t hold back after Usagi’s words and she hits her down with a punch, telling Usagi that she isn’t going to let her push her around when they face at Road to Redemption. Jon Kelton versus Princess Candice ends in a no contest as both Pandora and Veena interfere and things turn into chaos. Heidi Huxley announces that Caroline needs to show up on Showdown next week or she will be suspended indefinitely. Jon Kelton and Veena Adams have a contract signing, the two of them throwing shots at each other before it ends in a brawl with Kelton being the last person standing. Chef Viz and PJ Hendrx defeat IDOL-GUN. And finally, as Madison isn’t able to find a tag partner, Halsey Neel and Pandora Paisley surround her, ready to beat her down when out of nowhere, Raven Roberts makes her return to EAW, helping out Madison and declaring herself as her partner to fight off against Halsey and Pandora.)
(The recap ends, and it is replaced with the song “Brick Wall” by a Day to Remember, as the camera pans around the inside of Orleans Arena in Paradise, Nevada. Blue fireworks are shooting out of the stage and the Showdown crowd can be seen cheering in excitement. The camera ends up panning over to the commentary table with Deadprez, Eve and Gavin Kirkland as the commentators.)
Eve: Welcome everybody…TO SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN!!!
Deadprez: We have another exciting episode of Showdown planned for all of you as things seem to heat between all of the Showdown elitists heading into Road to Redemption, we have a lot of new faces wanting to prove themselves, we have Clayton Golde facing off against Roque Santa Cruz, Auburn Ware versus Jade Phoenix and the National Elite Champion Jon Kelton facing off against Ashlynn Quinn!
Eve: We also have one half of the British Invasion, Halsey Neel facing off against Madison Kaline, Veena Adams facing off against Usagi Senshi and all of the competitors in the Showdown EEC fight in a massive main event, Chef Viz, PJ Hendrx and Adam Lucas versus Daryl Kinkade, Solomon Stane and Scott Diamond!
Gavin Kirkland: AND WE START THE SHOW RED HOT BY WELCOMING BACK RAVEN ROBERTS, ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL WOMAN ADDED TO SHOWDOWN, I CAN’T STOP WINNING! LET’S GET RIGHT ON WITH THE SHOW! :blessed:
(“O Fortuna” by Carl Orff plays throughout the arena as Madison Kaline walks out. This time she has some cheers as she slowly makes her way on the entrance way but stops, her music then fades into “In My Bones” by the Score as the fans get to their feet and the beautiful Raven Roberts walks out. The two women glance at each other and nod before walking to the ring.)
Deadprez: And we are kicking off Showdown with these two ladies and who would have thought a few weeks ago this tag team would be facing Devolution’s British Invasion!? Raven Roberts made her shocking return last week and helped Madison against Pandora Paisley and Halsey Neel much to the dismay of the General Manager.
Eve: It was an incredible moment for sure, and much to the surprise of everyone including us, Raven is back and there is no one more EAW than maybe her husband, in Raven Roberts, it is great to see her back!
Gavin Kirkland: It really is and at the same time, I cannot believe that she of all people would team up with someone like a Madison Kaline! But here we are.
(Raven and Madison make their way to the ring, and slide in, both have mic in their hands as the music dies down. Madison looks at the crowd as there is a mix reaction to her, but definitely cheers for Raven.)
Madison Kaline: Who would have thought that five years ago anyone would see Madison Kaline and Raven Roberts teaming with each other? Our history is no secret, but that is what happens when two forces band together to stop a group that has absolutely NO RESPECT for this business and the Women’s Division that Elitists like Raven and myself helped build! I came to Showdown with one purpose and that was to succeed and carry on the legacy I have built, all I did was make a few demands, which I have earned, but Kennedy Street took liberties and made sure that I did not succeed or reach my full potential as that veteran presence this brand sorely needed. Kennedy Street did the same thing to me that she did with Ms. Extreme.
(The sound of Ms. Extreme’s name being dropped brings the crowd to cheers as Madison nods, so does Raven Roberts, as she was one of her Beating Hearts of Voltage partners in the War Games.)
Madison Kaline: So, now Kennedy wants to use me as a scapegoat and put me in a very precarious position of fighting these two hyenas alone at Road to Redemption AFTER she took me out of my rightful spot in the chamber! But no, no…. she couldn’t deal with the fact that I could actually be the Answers World Champion, so instead she did this to me? Then last week something happened, and that was Raven Roberts showed up, my “Bird Brain”. Now that is a term of endearment, it doesn’t mean the same now that it did back then, it is out of respect. Sometimes when you go to war with someone for so long, a little thing called respect forms and that is what happened here. Raven wasn’t asked to be my tag team partner, I had no clue she was showing up, did it on her own accord and I am grateful for it. But now, she IS my partner, and the match is NOW official!
(The crowd erupts in cheers as Raven nods and this time she speaks.)
Raven Roberts: Not going to lie here, because the honest truth is what the fans of the EAW and the Elitist deserve, but after my matches in 2021, especially against Elitist like Minerva, I walked away from wrestling with a sense that it was time for ME, since I revolved my entire life around this business. I needed to step away, to find myself and who I really was, spend time with my husband, Rex McAllister, and figured maybe the itch would come back, but as time went on, it didn’t. I really never expected to return to the EAW, I was content on spending my time doing other things and interest, satisfied with my accomplishments and what I did here in my storied career. There were gaps and holes, sure, things I still wanted to accomplish, but the endgame was for me to finally walk away and maybe, come back, but highly unlikely, and then something happened toward the end of last season, Rex returned to the EAW and that is when I started watching the product again, because mind you after I left, I never stayed in tune or kept up with the EAW. The after Rex came back, I started to pay a little attention and one thing that caught my eye? Devolution.
(The crowd boos to the sound of their name.)
Raven Roberts: Then I started to pay attention, not only to what Rex was doing, but also Devolution. I would hear their comments, was even pinged when something came out that they said, and that is when I knew that listening to what they were preaching was starting to grind on my nerves. You know, I get being young and brash, wanting to make a name for themselves at the expense of the old guard, I have been there, Madison has been there, all of the top women like Kassidy Heart, Andrea Valentine, Sienna Jade, Ms. Extreme, Dr. Bethany Blue, and yes even Minerva, all women who I have faced that are established now at the top of the division went through the same growing pains, but what Devolution stands for is a disrespectful version of paying dues and trusting the process, they want to rewrite history especially Pandora and Halsey. Look, they are talented, future champions, no question about it, but this also leads to something much greater, a power hungry GM, and everyone knows I dealt with one in Kendra Shamez and the FOX network. Kennedy Street, I know all about you and the career you had as a wrestler outside of the EAW, a former three time World Champion, nine time tag team champion, held other major titles throughout your career and only in your mid-thirties, there is still plenty in the tank, but now you are living vicariously through your protégé in Pandora and this creation of Devolution.
(Raven stares at the camera….)
Raven Roberts: And THAT is why I am back. This is about EAW, the greatest wrestling organization in the world! A place where MINE and MADISON’S blood, sweat, and tears helped build this division and if you think….
(Suddenly she is interrupted by “Rise” from Ashes Remain. Raven turns to the entrance way as Pandora Paisley and Halsey Neel both walk out at the same time. They both have mics in their hands, turning to one another and then back to the ring.)
Halsey Neel: Cut the bloody music.
(The music fades as Halsey Neel paces some while Pandora looks on.)
Halsey Neel: I don’t know what is more insulting, you coming out here and claiming that we do not respect this business or trying to make Kennedy out to be some tyrant because she put a self-entitled twat in her place! Do you know what we are, Raven?
Raven Roberts: Disrespectful? Rude? Glory hounds?
Panndora Paisley: No love, WE ARE THE FUTURE. See, nobody missed Raven Roberts when she left, disappeared with a whimper, went home to take up bloody sweater knitting or some shit, maybe grew a garden to cook for your hubby or something, but the last thing you should have done is coma back and gotten yourself with this trash right in the ring with you and for your efforts, you’re taking an arse beating? We made sure after last week that this match was going to happen, and you were able to wrestle and be her partner, and now Raven? You’re going to give us the biggest win of our careers and then Halsey and I are going after the Unified Tag Team Championships.
(Raven smirks, as Madison responds.)
Madison Kaline: I’m trash? At least I don’t go around kissing Kennedy’s ass and licking her boots. Doesn’t it get old Pandora.
Pandora Paisley: You’re funny because all you had to do was act like a former World Champion and Hall of Famer instead of some self-serving cunt and you would have been just fine here, but now you’re going to drag Raven down with you? See, Halsey and I? We are like sisters. She is my bestie, and I am hers, we have each other’s backs, but this? This is going to be very enjoyable watching two sworn enemies try and get along because Raven, you’re a smart lass, love. And you damn well know that this bitch standing next to you wants the spotlight all for herself, flower.
Ravenn Roberts: Keep telling yourself that Pandora if it helps you sleep at night. But come Road to Redemption let’s see how bright that Future is.
(Raven drops the mic as “In My Bones” by the Score starts to play throughout the arena. Halsey starts to make her way to the ring, but Pandora holds her back and whispers a few things in her ear. Halsey nods as the members of Devolution slowly start to back away.)
Deadprez: You heard it, and this match is going to blow the roof off the arena, we are looking at a show stealer with the past versus the future all in the present and I cannot wait!
Eve: These four women are going to go to war at Road to Redemption and the bad blood is starting to form here, Raven Roberts is back!
Gavin Kirkland: She may be back, but a Hellcat will always eat a bird!
(The final shot is Raven and Madison standing side by side glaring down at Pandora and Halsey as it fades to a commercial break. )
Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING IS THE OPENING CONTEST OF SATURDAY SHOWDOWN AND IS SET FOR ONE FALL!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!
(“Betty (Get Money)!” by Yung Gravy begins to play over the speakers as golden smoke flows over the stage. A young woman can be seen at the top of the ramp smiling as Clayton Golde enters the arena. He gives the woman a kiss before shooing her away and strikes a pose. The lights in the arena fade into a single spotlight that illuminates only Golde. Moments pass and “The Gospel” finally finishes basking and begins to head towards the ring.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST….HAILING FROM AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION IN RRRRRRROOOOOMANIA…WEIGHING IN AT 210 POUNDS….HE WOULD LIKE TO BE KNOWN AS “THE GOSPEL”…..CLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAYTTTTTOOOOOOON GOOOOOOOOOOOOOLDE!!!!
(The boos fill the arena as Golde climbs the stairs and looks out amongst the crowd before turning his attention to the referee. Clayton demands the referee hold open the second and top rope for him…as the referee does so, Golde takes time to jump over the top rope and strike another pose as the spotlight continues to shine on him. After a moment, the spotlight gives way to the arena lights and “Betty (Get Money)!” is quickly replaced by “Flower Moon” By Converge and Chelsea Wolfe.)
(Santa Cruz enters the arena, staring daggers everywhere he looks, “The Raging Bull” doesn’t waste time with taunts. He instantly begins marching to the ring.)
Gina Romano: AND HER OPPONENT….HAILING FROM VALENCIA, SPAIN…WEIGHING IN AT 219 POUNDS….HE IS “THE RAGING BULL”….ROOOOOOQUE….SANTA….CRRRRRRRUZ!!!!
(The boos continue as Roque enters the ring, still staring daggers in the direction of his opponent. Roque begins to step towards his opponent before the referee steps in to separate them. Clayton, from the safety of his corner, begins to throw shadow punches in his opponent’s direction. Once the referee gets Roque into his corner, he signals for the bell to ring.)
(DING DING DING)
Eve: And here we go…Wait, Golde just ducked out of the ring and is taking a lap around the ring! Roque is furious.
Gavin Kirkland: Golde is smart here, he’s getting into Santa Cruz’s head.
Deadprez: OH! HERE IT GOES! ROQUE IS CHASING GOLDE AROUND THE RING!
Eve: Back inside for Golde…AND HE CATCHES SANTA CRUZ WITH A LEGDROP TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD!
Gavin Kirkland: Old school move for the intellectual! Golde just used Roque’s own emotions against him.
Eve: Now Golde is pulling Roque up… SNAP SUPLEX FROM CLAYTON! BACK TO HIS FEET… RUNNING THE ROPES… JUMPING ELBOW DROP TO THE HEART! ANOTHER… ANOTHER… SLIGHT PAUSE… OH GOD…
Gavin Kirkland: THE OL’ HIP SWIVEL FROM GOLDE, GOING FOR ANOTHER BIG ELBOW… NO! ROQUE GETS HIS KNEES UP AND GOLDE LANDS THE POINT OF THE ELBOW RIGHT INTO THE SHIN OF SANTA CRUZ!

(Kennedy Street is on the phone, talking to someone on the other end. She twirls her hair with her finger, listening intently to whoever it is. Occasionally she smirks, sometimes she licks her bottom lip in anticipation, but she always shows interest in whoever she is speaking to.)
Kennedy Street: Well, I can see why they call Charisma honey. Because right now you are laying on the charm. And by the way, Kennie likes it. Kennie likes it a lot
(She listens again, tilting her head to one side, the person on the other end of the phone obviously none other than Captain Charisma. Kennedy was a woman who knew how to get what she wanted, especially when it came to the opposite sex, and she was clearly showing her interest. And she was especially good with men who thought that they were the ones with the power.)
Kennedy Street: A cross brand match at Road to Redemption? Tell me more, honey. You know I always love an opportunity to make Showdown the best brand in EAW.
(Again, we can hear the faint noise of someone talking, as Captain Charisma is probably explaining his idea. As Captain Charisma is speaking, however, Mattias Burke walks into the room, without even knocking. Kennedy doesn’t pay him any heed at all, and in fact seems to be ignoring the fact he is even there. Mattias doesn’t immediately interrupt, but it is clear that he wants to talk to her, but she isn’t giving him any attention whatsoever.)
Kennedy Street: Yes, I like that idea… and the fans will most definitely buy into it. We could have the makings of one of Road to Redemptions highlights.
Mattias Burke: Kennedy, I…
(Kennedy still doesn’t look at Mattias, and instead just sticks a single index finger up in his direction, making it very clear that he should wait. Mattias scowls, taking the action as disrespect, and a disrespect that he didn’t care for.)
Mattias Burke: But Kennedy, this is important. I need to speak to you, and I need to speak to you now. I can’t wait…
(Once again, Kennedy motions with her finger, but again still doesn’t look at him and keeps him waiting. Mattias is obviously furious, but what can he do? And he stands there with his arms folded in disgust.)
Kennedy Street: OK then, it seems like we have an agreement. I shall make the necessary arrangements from my end, and I will leave you to yours. We’ll speak again later in the week.
(Kennedy blows a kiss down the phone, and then hangs up, finally turning to Mattias Burke, her eyes narrowing.)
Kennedy Street: Now that Kennie has done a very important piece of business, what is it that couldn’t wait a few minutes longer? Oh, and by the way… it’s a show of respect to knock before you enter honey.
Mattias Burke: I was watching Dynasty last night…
Kennedy Street: Each to their own… I mean, it’s an adequate show, but it isn’t Showdown now is it.

(“Meltdown fades away as “Lemme Do My Thing” by YACHT MONEY takes its place. Out comes a determined Auburn Ware. She takes time to high five the roaring crowd, but refuses to take focus off of Jade Phoenix as she heads towards the ring.)
Deadprez: But so could Jade! Here’s the thing Eve, last week Jade slapped the taste out of Auburn’s mouth. She disrespected her in a major way! Auburn Ware is known to the EAW fans as a friendly face, but behind that face could be a sleeping dragon! Waking it up may prove to be Jade’s undoing here tonight!

Gavin Kirkland: It looks like this one is underway! Jade Phoenix firing the first shot here, looking for a superkick almost immediately! Auburn Ware counters by grabbing the leg and locking her opponent into the kneebar! A brutal counter by Ware, looking to get a little payback on Phoenix after last week’s encounter! It seems that Jade has different plans as she rolls herself towards the bottom rope! She manages to get her hand on it, meaning Ware must release the hold! The ref starts the five count and the hold is released just in the knick of time! You know, Auburn is a goody-two-shoes, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t capable of dishing out punishment! Ware approaches Phoenix but gets a surprise boot to the gut! SHE THEN TAKES ADVANTAGE WITH A LARIAT! NO! AUBURN WARE DUCKS UNDER IT! She looks for a spinning heel hook, but now it’s Phoenix who ducks under! SHE GRABS HER OPPONENT BY THE WAIST…AND CONNECTS WITH THE GERMAN SUPLEX!
Deadprez: There was some hate behind that one! Jade Phoenix just drove Ware neck and back first into the mat! She then drags Ware back to her feet and gets her up for that spinning powerbomb! WARE COUNTERS WITH A HURRICANRANA! “The Rising Phoenix ” tries to rise back to her feet, but she’s met with a forearm smash courtesy of “The Prodigy”! There’s the Irish whip as Ware sends her opponent into the corner! No time wasted as she rushes forward and looks for that jumping knee strike! IT CONNECTS! I might have to get my eyes checked folks because I swear I saw a tooth fly out after that! Ware quickly positions her opponent towards the center of the ring…LOOKING FOR THE LEG DROP BULLDOG SHE CALLS THE DIVERGENT! Phoenix is able to avoid that maneuver and Ware lands tailbone first! Jade delivers a swift kick to the back of her opponent’s head!
Eve: She brings Auburn back to her feet and looks for an exploder suplex…but Ware sends an elbow into the side of Jade’s head! SHE HITS THE FISHERMAN’S BUSTER! Jade Phoenix is dropped right on her neck and for the first time in this match Ware is in definite control! She hits her opponent with a somersault leg drop, showcasing some of that incredible athleticism that has endeared her to the EAW Universe! And it looks like she has more to show this Nevada crowd as she heads to the top rope! Take a look at that! She’s walking on the ropes, lining up her shot…A WALK TO REMEMBER! BUT WAIT! JADE ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! All that Auburn finds is a face full of floor while Jade just found a perfect opportunity! She rushes over to the ropes…SHADES OF JADE! THE SPRINGBOARD CUTTER DRIVES AUBURN’S FACE RIGHT BACK INTO THE MAT! Jade Phoenix looks for a cover!

Phoenix displaying a level of aggression that is much needed! If you want to make a name for yourself here on Showdown, it starts with beating your opponent into a bloody pulp! That is exactly what she intends to do as she brings Auburn back up to a vertical base! SHE LOOKS FOR JADED! BUT WARE ESCAPES, SLIDING RIGHT BEHIND PHOENIX! SHINY BROKEN PIECES! The discus elbow smash sends Jade Phoenix down and out of the ring! She scrambles to her feet and Auburn is there to sweep her off them! THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY! She crashes down on her opponent with the Meteora to the outside!
Deadprez: It is that exact type of innovative offense that makes Auburn Ware stand out! She throws her opponent back inside the ring and looks for a cover…but Phoenix keeps on rolling until she’s at the ropes! The ref lets Auburn know that she has to back off and she doesn’t seem very amused by Phoenix’s tactics! Jade crawls into the corner and tries to catch her breath…ONLY FOR SOME UGLY LOVE FROM WARE! Auburn with the handstand choke in the corner, getting all the way to the count of four before letting her opponent go! The ref once again separates the two elitists as Jade is seated in the corner! AUBURN RUSHES AT HER AGAIN! DOUBLE KNEES CONNECT! Jade might have been knocked out from that one! Auburn drags Jade up to her feet…AND GETS HER UP FOR THE MALIBU RISING! WAIT A MINUTE! She’s reaching out for the ropes, desperately seeking shelter once more from Auburn! She can’t reach it! Wait…WAIT! She’s reaching out with legs, trying inch closer and closer to the ropes! SHE’S THERE! BUT AUBURN PULLS HER BACK, DASHING HER HOPES OF ESCAPE! Now Jade starts kneeing her opponent in the face, utilizing offense instead of relying on the ropes! After a few solid hits, Auburn releases the hold! She goes back on the offense, looking for a German suplex…but Jade counters with an armdrag! As Auburn finds her footing, Jade lifts her arm up in the air? Auburn seems confu-OH! JADE PHOENIX ROCKS AUBURN WARE WITH A MASSIVE RIGHT HAND! BOP N JADE! Ware just falls flat on her back, that clever trick from Phoenix being quite effective!
Gavin Kirkland: HA! SHE MADE HER LOOK! That right there is a classic! Jade seems amused with herself after that one! She seems even amused as she eyes that corner turnbuckle! She begins an ascent of her own to the top rope! Auburn may have dominated the skies so far in this match, but no one should forget Phoenixes have wings! She turns her back to the ring, clearly looking for her signature Phoenix Rising! WARE COMES OUT OF NOWHERE AND GRABS HER LEG! She still seems out of form as she was cold-cocked only moments ago, yet she still managed to get to the corner! She tries to drag her opponent off the ropes, but Jade just kicks right in the face! (As Showdown returns, ‘A Cruel Angel’s Thesis’ by Yoko Takahashi starts playing on the speakers and the crowd immediately starts raining down boos on the woman that was coming out, Usagi Senshi slowly walked out the ramp with a completely expressionless face, there was no anger, frustration or sadness shown, not any emotion at all or reaction towards the reaction of the crowd, after everything that happened she was used to getting to come out to complete hate by the crowd, she never expected for this to be the future she was going to be in whenever she first debuted for this company, being unwelcome as soon as she stepped foot into that ring, but it was a necessary evil, besides, she didn’t really care anymore about what anybody else thought.)
(Usagi slowly walked down the ramp, spreading her arms a bit as the crowd just simply continued to boo her loudly, playing a bit to it to get some fun out of annoying the people there even more before she stopped for a moment and then concentrated on getting into the ring, climbing up the steel steps and entering right through the ropes without wasting any time, she began twirling the microphone that she had on her hands while she paced around the ring and her theme song ended up dying down, she had a lot of things to talk about in her mind and a lot of thoughts stuck on her head after what happened last week, she stopped right in the middle of the ring and she was going to start talking on the microphone before…)
(Of course. Without any music when it came to meeting with each other the past few weeks, ARIA already came out with a bit of an expression that combined a lot of feelings, anger, sadness, determination, it was a combination of so many messages Aria wanted to send out but at the same time, it was very hard for anyone to be able to reach and get them. And what else happens when ARIA comes out? Loud cheers, it always happens, and Usagi’s irritation just rises up even more when that happens and ARIA’s expression shows more worry than anything, she feels like she doesn’t deserve people supporting her in this kind of situation, there really wasn’t any hero or villain in what was happening, no good or bad guy, just two friends that ended up falling out and they were fighting after everything they went through together.)
(ARIA rushed down the ramp at a quick pace and slid inside of the ring as Usagi’s face started to form a tired and incredibly annoyed expression seeing ARIA every time now, the two simply stared at each other in silence for a few seconds before Usagi decided to speak first.)
Usagi Senshi: Look at you, I don’t even have to say anything in the first place and you are already rushing out of here like a puppy searching for a treat.
(ARIA’s expression grew annoyed when hearing Usagi’s comment but she decided to slowly shake her head and she quickly began speaking up once more.)
ARIA: Can you hear me out one last time?
Usagi Senshi: You think that after what you did to me last week I am going to happily stand there and just let you go on another hope filled speech that won’t help out anything at all?
ARIA: Because I wasn’t going to let you push me around like that, we are going to end up fighting in a match after all, I am a wrestler at the end of the day too, but this is just one last request, the last one I am ever going to ask of you, I want to try something one last time so please, just let me talk one last time…
(Usagi narrowed her eyes slightly as she ended up hearing ARIA’s words, she was getting completely tired by this point of continuing to listen to what ARIA had to say, to hear something that was never going to convince her at all but somewhere, that one little part of her old self, the most tiniest of them all, still wanted to hear her out so for one last time, she stood back and let ARIA talk as she took another deep breath and began talking once more.)
ARIA: I… I want to try one last time. I want to try and get through to you one more time. I want to believe that we can finally settle all of this without having to fight, without having to wrestle and tore our bodies apart at the end of the day for something that might not happen, because there is still that part of me that believes I can solve it this way, that part of me that still doesn’t want to hurt my best friend, if we do face I will put that side of myself away but I want to show it again here because yeah, I do want to hope, I do want to believe I can solve things this way, that is why I just want to…
(But ARIA didn’t have any more words, after everything that she has said to Usagi the past few weeks, and none of it working out at all, she was at a loss for words, everything that she has said didn’t get through with Usagi, and ARIA just completely ran out of things to say, with words on how to express herself.)
ARIA: I… I really have nothing else to say at all, huh? Never expected for this to happen to me again but… I do not know what to say… I don’t really know what to do anymore…
(ARIA slowly shook her head herself realizing that she didn’t have anything more, that she was at a corner and she didn’t know what to do, she felt like she couldn’t find a way, she couldn’t find a truth in this situation, this situation happening to her again… she just…)
(She cried. A few tears flowed out of Aria’s eyes as the crowd completely fell in silence, not knowing how to react at first before they looked over in complete worry and a few people looked on with sadness as well at what Aria was going through right now. Because the woman there was Aria Lestrade at the end of the day too. Aria though pushed either way, she wiped her tears away for a bit before speaking up once more.)
Aria: I don’t really have any words on what to say to you, but I do have my feelings, I do have my actions, I do have everything that has happened to make me into the person I am today, I am not afraid of saying that I broke down several times in my whole life, I felt weak, I felt that I couldn’t go on at all and that I wished for the world to just eat me up right then and there, I cared for everyone and everything too much for my liking but that didn’t stop me from doing it either way. I screamed, I fought, I helped, and I shed tears for all of the people I cared about. I shed tears right now because I care about you, Usagi, I care too much for my liking. I care for Ayumu too much as well. You and Ayu? I always held your friendship close to my heart, because I did consider you my true friends, I did consider you the people that would be able to help me up whenever I fell down, that would be able to shout at me to keep going no matter how hard things got for me, no matter how heart shattering they became or how horrible they ended up getting for everybody. I owe the world to the both of you and everything that we did together? All of the time that we spent together as best friends, as… family? I wouldn’t change anything at all. Not a single bit.
Aria: In the past I got manipulated by people who I thought they were my friends, but they were simply planning to use me, that is why after that, I shut myself out, I didn’t let anybody else in, I thought that I didn’t deserve to have any love, I thought that I didn’t deserve to have any more friends after what happened, I thought it was all of my fault. But you and Ayu? You two were the reasons why I ended up feeling like myself again, feeling like I could make a difference in the world once more and I could be able to achieve my dreams, you two are the reason why I am the person that I am today, you two are the reason why I kept going and fighting for everybody! Aria Lestrade wouldn’t be the person that she is today without the love of her life, the family… and the people she considers her best friend. That is why I want to see my best friend again, that is why I want to fight to get back the person that I love with all of my heart, that is why I want to fix everything and start anew, start a better way for the two of us, the love and friendship that we have doesn’t need to die! (Silence befell the arena once more as Aria finished her speech… and the crowd received her with loud claps after she finished, the crowd being very much moved by Aria’s words. But Usagi…? That expressionless face didn’t budge a single bit. And after seeing Aria shed tears like that, it seems that tiny part of her old self that was still there was completely gone. Usagi immediately got on the microphone.)
Usagi Senshi: Right, you finished your sob story? Good, then let me actually thank you as well. That last speech gave me the final push that I have to finally cut all of this charade. Because you aren’t going to get me back, the Ice Aces won’t come back, we aren’t going to be friends anymore no matter how much you wish for it, and you are the only person who still thinks the contrary here. So thank you for giving me the push to say what I am going to say now because I am tired and annoyed by this point of you continuing to try the same tired emotional speech that won’t reach me, you want the truth and nothing but the truth, right? Then I am going to tell you the truth about everything.
(Usagi slowly walked forward and stared down Aria face to face and looked directly at her eyes to eyes, as Aria’s hopeful expression slowly started to fade once Usagi said those words.)
Usagi Senshi: You know how you always say that in Japan you had a rough time? Everyone knows that by now, over 100 losses, the story has been told over and over again. But you remember Aria, how one of those things was all of the wrestlers in the Joshi wrestling scene starting to bully you, mock you and push you down because of how much of a horrible wrestler you were when starting out? Do you want to know who was the one who started that movement against you and made your life hell?

(When Aria heard those words, it felt like a sword was stabbed right through her gut and Aria felt like her world completely crumbled once again. That expression on Aria’s face full of emotions was immediately gone and all there could be in her face was just shock and pure grief. And everyone else was shocked as well, the crowd staying completely silent after Usagi revealed that kind of truth to everyone. Usagi slowly shook her head seeing Aria’s expression and she continued talking.)
Usagi Senshi: Oh come on, why are you shocked about what I just said? Do you really think when you started wrestling I held any respect or any actual genuine kindness to you? You want to know what irked me and got under my skin every time you talked with me before you went out for your match? You always told me you would give me your best every time, I gave you the same lesson to stay alive and then you absolutely flopped in that ring and made yourself look like an idiot. What is there any reason for giving your best in your match if it was absolutely nothing? Complete trash that nobody wanted to even get close to? And it was every time for your match, you told me your hope, I said my phrase, then you failed, you told me your dreams, I said my phrase, and then you choked, you told me your pleas, I said my phrase and then you drowned, every single time and you made look like a fool for wanting to believe in you the first place. Getting mocked myself by my talented peers for wasting my time on you and actually giving you the time of day. So you know what I ended up doing?
Usagi Senshi: I ended up using my influence as the respected and talented wrestler I was in the Joshi wrestling scene and I got to put all of the blame in you, I got to convince my peers that you were the problem, who you indeed were, and then finally, it felt like a weight was completely off my back, so while everyone else mocked you, belittled you and told you that you didn’t matter at all in that place? I treated you as just a little ink spill in my resume there in Japan, I acted like you didn’t exist and then I went on to be even more successful than before, winning more championships and gaining more praise than ever before, and all because I took the good decision of not caring about you anymore.
(Aria’s expression by this point didn’t have any emotion at all, it was completely expressionless as well and it looked like her eyes were completely devoid of life as she continued to hear what Usagi told her.)
Usagi Senshi: And then when I came here to EAW, I ended up making the mistake of doing the opposite of what I did, I ended up giving you a second chance, I finally saw you do better than before, you actually won a match, and so I let my heart open a bit, and I ended up letting you in on the Ice Aces, hoping that you finally got better and you would be able to succeed together with us, or if things came to worse, be able to be on first row to see you crash again and explode just like you did in Japan. But during all of that time I ended up actually considering you as a friend, I trusted you and well, that was the biggest mistake I could have done, you ended up taking advantage of me and Ayu’s kindness and you succeeded without us, so that is why I did the exact same thing I did in Japan and I ended up dropping you, and now look at you… but hey, everything ended up working out well for you after all, no? You got your championship and all of the people to love you, no?!
(Usagi said the last part with a wicked and slightly insane smile before she showed an expressionless face once more.)

Aria grabbed Usagi by her hair and she began to speak once more.)
Aria: Oh, Usagi… don’t worry, I will indeed stay alive. But you? YOU ARE FUCKING DEAD TO ME!
Deadprez: AND NOW ARIA PULLS USAGI INTO THE CENTER OF THE RING AND SHE STARTS DELIVERING UNRELENTING STRIKES AND FOREARMS DIRECTLY TO HER FACE AND HEAD!
Gavin Kirkland: AND SHE DOESN’T SEEM TO HOLD BACK AT ALL, IT FEELS LIKE SHE IS TRYING TO CRACK HER SKULL OPEN! MY DETECTIVE, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! SHE IS YOUR BEST FRIEND!
Eve: Not anymore, Gavin! After Usagi just revealed to her that she was behind her wrestling career in Japan being such a hell for her, something completely different got into ARIA and she is going to make sure Usagi pays for everything that she did!
Deadprez: ARIA ends up getting off of Usagi, grabbing onto her wrists and… HITTING HER WITH A KAMIGOYE STRIKE RIGHT TO HER FACE AS THE KNEE LANDS DIRECTLY ONTO USAGI’S NOSE! WAIT, AND SHE GOES FOR ANOTHER ONE!

(Usagi is able to escape just in time as she backs up the ramp, holding onto her face and nose specifically after all of those Kamigoye strikes, and Usagi looks down in horror at her hands as she sees blood, blood coming out of her nose! Usagi covered her face back up, her expression absolutely livid about what happened as Aria gets on the ropes and addresses Usagi.)
Aria: Usagi Senshi! You want to know what you just did?! You created a monster! And at Road to Redemption? IT IS GOING TO SEND YOU TO PURGATORY!
(“DESTINY” by Saori Yoshida hits as Aria throws down her microphone and backs up, the crowd completely behind her and cheering loudly after what she did, while looking at Usagi with a look that if it could, it could kill her right then and there. And all Usagi could do was back away up the ramp while her expression in her face was one full of anger and disdain seeing that her plan backfired. It was official now. This wasn’t a battle between two former friends anymore. It was war. And on that note, Showdown faded away to commercials.)

At the moment, the Devil Himself is not even close to getting her hands laid on him so far. Kelton then stands tall and pulls Quinn back upon her feet, now lifting the knee up high and driving it straight into her gut! The sheer impact of the knee putting the Boujee Princess back to both knees!
Eve: That knee now putting her right back to the ground. You can see that satisfying smile growing out of Kelton’s face, showing that he’s feeling great about how his match has gone so far. Kelton now picking her up and sends her flying towards the ropes this time… KELTON GOES FOR A CLOTHESLINE-

Deadprez: That DDT is surely able to do much, but you can see how Quinn is now turning to become hurt and showing a resurgence towards this competition. She shows that there’s still determination inside her despite what Kelton has just done to her earlier. Quinn now finding her own way back upon her feet, walking down slowly towards Kelton to pick him back up, even though Kelton seemingly refuses to be grabbed by her there.
Gavin Kirkland: She’s grabbing him??? MY TURN! MY TURN!
Eve: If there’s one more thing like that coming out of your mouth, I’m actually going to mute you in the next second. Quinn able to control Kelton regardless of the efforts that Kelton were attempting to pull off, hooking her and she was attempting for a Suplex, to send Kelton crashing back to the ground!
Deadprez: Kelton doesn’t allow her and slips out, landing both feet to the ground and able to seize her down from behind. He locked her in, and he was attempting for a Rolling Cutter!
Eve: Quinn slips away as Kelton tilts toward the spin, aiming to bring her down, but his plan doesn’t bear fruit. Quinn is free and now running towards Kelton, attempting another Running Pump Kick, but Kelton is able to catch it this time!… STEP UP ENZUIGIRI WITH A FREE LEG ACROSS KELTON’S FACE!
Gavin Kirkland: YES! LET’S GO! FOR US! FOR SHOWDOWN! FOR OUR GRACIOUS BARBIE LAND!
Deadprez: That kick surely stuns Kelton entirely, and now he’s flailing back by the ropes. Quinn back on her feet as soon as possible, and she looks back, seeing Kelton pushing himself off the ropes and trying to refocus this match. Quinn seizes the opportunity and grabs Kelton by the wrist, pulling him in and now hooking him from behind!…
Eve: QUINN TRIES TO PUT KELTON WITH AN IRISH WHIP INTO A GERMAN SUPLEX BUT BACK ELBOW FROM KELTON STOPS HER! Kelton manages to wriggle free from Quinn’s grasp, hitting the mat safely and turning the tables. Kelton delivers a sharp hook across her jaw, adding another for good measure to make sure she’s seeing stars. Then, he hoists her onto his shoulder… A RUNNING POWERSLAM BY KELTON! KELTON HOOKS THE LEG! ROSE IS WATCHING WITH AN IMMENSE OF JOY!

Gavin Kirkland: Yeah, do you see that? Kelton is becoming more annoyed because I know what’s going on inside his head! He can’t believe that Ashlynn Quinn is coming to make him feel insecure. That’s why he looks too scared now!
Eve: You’re reaching for too much tonight, and that’s the last straw. Anyway, ladies and gentlemen, Kelton has gained control of this match once more and is getting back slowly to his feet, rising back and now putting his focus right back on Quinn immediately. Quinn tries to crawl away, and Kelton makes it pointless for her, dragging her along the way back down to the center of the ring and clubbing the back of her head with a right forearm!
Deadprez: That shot surely hits so hard, sending Quinn’s head knocking right back onto the ground. Kelton is definitely ruthless in his actions and his words tonight. Kelton, now on a roll, is picking Quinn back right after the forearm and putting her down into the corner.
Eve: Kelton now taking some prep time, on her corner positioning, and now walking out, turning back around and lunging toward her… FINAL ATONEMENT AT THE CORNER!
Gavin Kirkland: HE MISSES! HAHA! Kelton thought this was going to end it all, but he didn’t see it coming! Quinn, just able to sidestep aside and get out of the corner, sending Kelton crashing into the ring post instead! Can you believe how smart that is? She’s super incredible!
Deadprez: Smart move done by Ashlynn Quinn just then, and now Kelton finds himself falling down to the apron, holding down his shoulder in pain after colliding hard with the steel post. Quinn now sees an opportunity and is slowly setting her up. Uh-oh, Kelton may have to duck this before the tables have turned real hard against him!…
Eve: SUPERKICK! ‘
Deadprez: NO! Kelton is able to seize the rope and pull himself to the side. Quinn sends the right foot flying against the top rope, ending up hanging up there. Quinn misses the target and finds herself stuck up there. Kelton quickly steps in and crashes her with an elbow to the side of her head, sending Quinn back inside. Kelton then seizes the rope once more and the Devil has the sinner, locking the target… A SPRINGBOARD KNEE STRIKE TAKES DOWN QUINN!
Eve: Kelton now not far away from the corner, rolls back to his feet, once the knee connects. Seeing Quinn lying down there entirely and reaching for both feet, now shifted his speed up and sent himself running swiftly towards the ropes. Kelton is up the second rope, and here comes the Devil Himself! Looking at the athleticism!… WHAT A LIONSAULT! KELTON DROPS INTO A COVER!

Deadprez: Kelton is surely not content with that, but at the same time, pressure turning into pleasure, turning the tide to favor him as well. Kelton finds himself rolling up and heading down into the corner, backing himself into there and locking his eyes with Quinn.
Eve: I think we know what’s going to happen next for here. It might be all over for Ashlynn Quinn tonight if Kelton was able to get this done! Quinn is not going to have a great night once this all goes downhill for her!

Deadprez: That’s absolutely not in the cards, and Quinn returns to both feet. Kelton charges out at full tilt!…. THE FINAL ATONEMENT!
Eve: QUINN ABLE TO JUMP OVER! Quinn now sends herself flying over and seizes Kelton at the same time! Oh yes, she got him! The Sunset flip roll-up has just caught Kelton off guard, saving herself from the danger! Kelton is dropped! Both shoulders down! The referee sliding in, and there goes a cover! Quinn might have him!

Kelton finds himself back to his feet, Quinn then sneaking back behind once more…

Kelton not even coming back this way after the battle, and she’s going absolutely ballistic on him. Rose is there rolling into the ring, and she’s trying to make a save! Rose is able to pull Adams out, and Adams there, getting back to her feet timidly. Rose turns back around to stop her…
Deadprez: SPEAR FROM HER UNCLE CUTS ROSE IN HALF! Adams has just taken Rose out there and now refocusing her attention towards Kelton, who’s trying to get back upon his feet there, the pain from the sudden assault still residing within. Adams just runs towards him!… SKULL FRACTURE JUST PUNTED THE HELL OUT OF KELTON! ADAMS JUST LAID TWO MEMBERS OF THE DEVOLUTION OUT!
Gavin Kirkland: Best Showdown Episode ever.
( Adams slowly rises back to her feet as she forces the referee to bring the EAW National Elite title to her. The referee walks in with the title, but she takes it off the referee’s hand as she raises the title up high while Kelton remains down there, out cold. ‘7 Rings’ by Ariana Grande then plays as Adams looks down to Kelton, raising the title high into the air as the scene fades into a commercial break from there. )
(Showdown quickly faded back from commercials as the broadcast tuned into backstage where Mikaela Street was standing there with a bright smile on her face and she began speaking up towards the camera.)
Mikaela Street: Heeellooooo there ladies and gentlemen! As always, I am Mikaela Street, here to bring you all kinds of interviews from our Elitists on Saturday Night Showdown! Tonight, I am joined by the woman who is going to challenge Jon Kelton at Road to Redemption for the National Elite Championship and she has been fighting and defending against Devolution on every corner no matter how hard the odds were for her, please welcome at this moment, Veena Adams!
(The camera then panned over to the side to show Veena with her arms crossed and having a serious expression on her face, with the camera showing as well that she was being accompanied by Ashlynn Quinn, who had a bit of a proud smile after seeing what Veena ended up doing already earlier in the night.)
Mikaela Street: Hello there, Veena! How are you feeling after you ended up attacking Jon Kelton once more after his match-
(But Mikaela is quickly interrupted as Veena puts a hand on her microphone and shakes her head at her, taking it from her hands and looking directly towards the camera.)
Veena Adams: Thanks, but no thanks Mikaela, I don’t need an interview right now, I just need some minutes to explain myself and let all of the people watching hear me out, I will be as honest as I can getting in front of this camera, if you were a normal person who met me for the first time and you heard me talk for the first five minutes, you would probably wish to shoot me right in the face with a gun, and even with a hole in my skull I would still look prettier than most of the bi-[BLEEP] here- Point is, that at the end of the day of all of those conversations and videos, most people always end up leaving with the thought of, “Veena is a horrible person!”, “Veena doesn’t deserve what has been given to her”, “Veena is not human!”, “Veena does not deserve any love or respect at all”. And you know what, half of those are accurate, most especifically the ones about me not being pleasant to talk to, but hey, Veena Adams is Veena Adams at the end of the day. This isn’t going to be a speech about “how I am going to be a better person going forward” or “how I will be a lot more nicer than before”, none of that fairy tail bullcrap with me, because even though it might sound cliche and overused, just… actually be yourself at the end of the day.
Veena Adams: I am not going to appear and tell you to listen to what people say about you and how you should change things about yourself that don’t need to be changed at all, despite flaws and mistakes, you are perfect the way that you are, and yes, I do want to to barf after saying such a “friendship is magic” like phrase but it is true. After everything that has happened I am not going to call myself the “New and Improved” Veena Adams, I am still unapologetically me, I have just simply grown and learned from all of my experiences here in EAW, and you know what? I am not a coward, I can happily admit I ended up making some mistakes whenever I came back, I ended up making mistakes when I took positions of power both in Voltage and Dynasty, I stretched myself thin having to be in that position, I ended up making some mistakes whenever me and Charlie ended up doing Ad Infinitum and try to cause chaos all around EAW, and I did some mistakes as a wrestler and…well, as a person. But I have grown from those mistakes, I became better simply because of the fact that I worked hard to be in the shape that I am in right now, to be in the position that I am in after all of this time! I came back from a [BLEEP] career threatening neck injury and there were still people that doubted who the hell I was! And fine, I get some of those critiques because of how I acted towards those people, but one, maybe don’t have such a fragile ego I don’t know, and two, some of those people just hated and tore me down because they weren’t me, they wanted me to fail either way despite all of the improvement that I have done and something like that doesn’t sit right with me AT ALL!
Veena Adams: Despite most of the world being against me when I first started, despite me not being able to achieve a lot during most of my time here, despite me basically failing in almost every regard when trying to achieve some sense of power, I am still here. For years I have always been the one who never made it, the black sheep of the family because despite all of my attempts at being as accomplished as some people in my family, I lost my way and I ended up drowning in an endless sea… I still swam back up. Because I was simply tired of being the one who never did it. The “maybe” woman who maybe would succeed, who maybe would finally win a championship, who maybe would finally do something productive in her whole entire life, my whole life was always filled with maybes that I wasn’t able to turn them into certain answers, until finally I said enough and shouted out into the world saying “yes, I could!”. And I did just that after I was able to beat Donovan Duke and become the National Elite Champion all by myself! In the last two seasons I became what I knew I was this whole time and that is a mother-[BLEEP] STAR! I did all of that because I became the best version of Veena Adams, and instead of swimming and surviving, I ended up flying and reaching the sky while I couldn’t do it before!
Veena Adams: And all of that was taken away from me in such an unfair manner because Jon Kelton was tired of being everyone’s punching bag and decided to become everyone’s punching bag in a group of punching bags and screwed me over, screwed me from what was rightfully MINE! And despite me asking for what was rightfully mine, I still wasn’t given a rematch, I still had to scratch and claw for another opportunity at what I deserved, and you know what happened? I STILL DID ALL OF THAT AND MORE! I tore through all of my obstacles, I knocked down every opponent and annoying Karen [BLEEP] that were in my way, I decided to make statements, despite me being the leader of a group who didn’t have anything in common at all and everybody there didn’t see each other eye to eye, our team SUCCEEDED together and we earned that win all by ourselves. We were able to do that because of all of the hard work that we put into making things work and beating the trash of Devolution, and at the end of the match, I was able to beat all of the odds, thanks to Ashlynn, thanks to all of my teammates, thanks to all of the hard work I put in to better myself and be a good enough wrestler to overcome all of that and win the match! And I am incredibly proud of myself because of everything that has happened in my life, I found the love of my life, I found someone I can call a best friend, despite everything and most of the world hating me, everyone who sits there in the crowd to watch a show ended up taking my side and supporting me as well, not because I changed, not because I didn’t need to the things Jon Kelton did, it happened because I worked hard and the people out there recognized what I did as well to get to here!
Veena Adams: At the end of the day, I am not going to say I already have all of the answers, it is inevitable that I am going to end up learning a lot more for the rest of my life, learning a lot more and growing even better than before, but what I am certain of already is that when Road to Redemption ends, I am going to be a 2 time National Elite Champion, I am not leaving Road to Redemption without the belt and you best believe that all of what Jon Kelton has tried to build up, all of the lies, the deception, the fake tough acts, a group full of rats, all of it will come crashing down by my hand, and his days as the most miserable, most fraudulent, most pathetic champion in current EAW…are numbered. Nothing will stop me from becoming the National Elite Champion again! Toodles.
(Ashlynn gave a loud clap after hearing that passionate speech from Veena, as Veena gives the microphone back to Mikaela and the two of them end up leaving with Veena planning to get ready for her match later tonight.)
Mikaela Street: Wait, but I didn’t even get to make an interview- Oh ok, byeee!
(Mikaela let out a bit of a nervous laugh as the two of them already left and Showdown ended up fading away to ringside for the next match.)
(‘Ten Ton Hammer’ by Machine Head plays as the crowd boos as Halsey Neel makes her way out to the ring with Pandora Paisley by her side. She like usual pays no attention to the crowd reaction as she talks with Pandora on her way to the ring.)
Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SET FOR ONE FALL!!

Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST…ACCOMPANIED BY PANDORA PAISLEY.. .FROM BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND…WEIGHING IN AT 159 POUNDS…SHE IS “THE DESPAIR OF DEVOLUTION”….HALLLLSEEEEYYY NEEEEEELLLLL!!!!
(‘O Fortuna’ by Carl Orff plays and Madison now comes out followed by Raven Roberts as she begins smiling at the boos she is getting from the crowd. She scans the crowd before paying no attention and making her way to the ring focused on the task at hand with all eyes on Halsey and victory.)
Gina Romano: AND HIS OPPONENT….FROM TAMPA BAY, FLORIDA…ACCOMPANIED BY RAVEN ROBERTS…..WEIGHING IN AT 120 POUNDS….SHE IS “THE MISTRESS OF DEATH”….MADISONNNNN KAALLIINNNEEEE!!!!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Deadprez: And this match between Halsey and Madison is underway as they step towards each other in the center of the ring before looking over at ringside at both Pandora and Raven on opposite sides of the ring before holding their right hands up looking for a little test of strength to start the match before quickly backing up and circling the ring just waiting on the other to make the first move. After several moments, the two finally lock up in a collar and elbow tie-up! It’s a struggle between the two of them…Halsey then manages to get Madison in a side headlock but not for long as Madison runs and pushes her off to the ropes, but Halsey slides under the legs before turning around to face her and she flips her forward with a snapmare before applying a chinlock! A chinlock is applied on the Hall of Famer as Madison tries to get back to a vertical base. Madison gets up to a knee before driving the elbow into his midsection before doing it again as Halsey loosens her grip a bit on her head ….AND THEN SHE DELIVERS THE BACK SUPLEX CREATING SOME SEPARATION BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEM FOR THE MOMENT!
Gavin Kirkland: Madison quickly hops back up to her feet and she’s eager for Halsey to get up as she runs and takes her down with a jumping clothesline, and then runs off the ropes and delivers another one! Madison is feeling all the momentum in her favor as Halsey then swings at her head but she ducks it and drives Halsey chest first into the corner before rolling her up from behind – BUT HALSEY HELD ON TO THE TURNBUCKLE! Halsey held on as Madison rolls forward to her feet and charges at her in the corner but Halsey stops her dead in her tracks with a kick to the midsection before….HALSEY HOPS ON THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE AND DELIVERS A SPLASH BEFORE FOLLOWING IT UP WITH THE FIRST COVER OF THIS MATCHUP!!

PANDORA IS ALREADY TRYING TO MAKE HER PRESENCE KNOWN AS SJE HOPS UP ON THE APRON TRYING TO YAP AT MADISON, BUT RAVEN ISN’T ALLOWING IT AS SHE RUNS OVER TO THE OTHER END, BUT PANDORA QUICKLY HOPS DOWN AND HAS HER HANDS UP IN INNOCENCE!
Pandora Paisley (no mic): Keep your distance over there.
Raven Roberts (no mic): I got my eyes in yoy, know that.
Deadprez: BUT LOOK IN THE RING, THAT DISTRACTION WAS ENOUGH TO BUY HALSEY ENOUGH TIME AS HALSEY DELIVERS A HEADBUTT THAT DRIVES MADISON BACK BEFORE SHE DROPS DOWN TO A KNEE – AND HALSEY RUNS OFF THE ROPES AND DELIVERS A BICYCLE KICK TO MADISON AS SHE WAS ON A KNEE AND NOW HALSEY QUICKLY FALLS ON TOP FOR THE COVER!!

Eve: And the kickout from Madison as Halsey wastes no time in going back on the attack and puts her in a sleeper hold! Madison is trying his best to get back to a vertical base but Halsey isn’t making it easy in the slightest applying as much pressure as she can on that head while Pandora pounds on the mat from the outside. But she does eventually as she drives her elbow into her stomach before running off the ropes – AND MADISON TAKES HER DOWN AGAIN WITH A SPINNING DOUBLE LEG LARIAT!! She then mounts over her and begins to drive the forearm into her face repeatedly as Halsey is trying her best to cover up but isn’t having much luck in doing so! Madison is on a roll right now and quickly gets her up off the mat, but before we could know what she had in mind, Halsey catches her off guard out of nowhere by delivering a European uppercut across the jaw that causes her to stumble back a few feet! Madison then retaliates by throwing a right hand! Then another European uppercut from Halsey as both of them are going back and forth with one another exchanging blows with one another! Who is going to gain the upper hand?
Deadprez: Madison attempts to throw another right hand, but Halsey this time blocks it before jumping up and delivering a high knee across the bridge of the nose that sends Madison back into the corner as she takes a second to catch his breath before.. …AND HERE COMES USAGI WITH A FULL HEAD OF STEAM CHARGING AT HER IN THE CORNER AND DELIVERS A BIG BOOT IN THE CORNER! Halsey brings her back to the center of the ring – AND HALSEY GETS HER IN POSITION BEFORE SHE HITS “BLOOD ON THE LEAVES”!!! THE FIREMAN’S CARRY ROUNDHOUSE KICK CONNECTS AS HALSEY GOES FOR ANOTHER COVER NOW AFTER SHE MAKES SURE RAVEN KEEPS HER DISTANCE AT RINGSIDE!!

Raven though is trying to will her on with enough encouragement to get to the ropes as Madison begins dragging herself there and she stretched her upper body as far as she can – AND SHE GRABS THE BOTTOM ROPE FOR ING THE BREAK!
Gavin Kirkland: Halsey though right away drags her to the middle of the ring by her feet and looks to lock it in again…BUT MADISON COUNTERS THIS TIME USING HER FEET TO PUSH HALSEY FROM THE BACK AS HALSEY LANDS SHOULDER FIRST ON THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE! This might be a golden opportunity as Halsey turns around to five her, and Maddie delivers several palm strikes to the chest before delivering an enziguri kick to the side of the head as Halsey drops down to a knee holding her head not having a clue on where she is as Madison runs off the ropes now – BUT LOOK!! PANDORA JUST TRIPPED MADISON BY HER FEET UNDER THE ROPES!! The referee didn’t see it as he was turned away for a split second, but Raven did as she tries chasing Pandora away as Pandora again has her hands up in innocence despite getting involved in the match yet again.
Pandora Paisley (no mic): I didn’t do anything! Mind your business!
Eve: I don’t know if even the referee believes that as Halsey runs at Madison looking to take advantage – BUT MADISON STILL GETS THE UPPER HAND AS SHE COUNTERS BY HITTING A BACK BODY DROP SENDING HALSEY FLYING OVER THE TOP ROPE TO THE OUTSIDE FLOOR! Pandora runs over to check on Halsey really fast – BUT LOOK OUT!!! MADISON RUNS AND TAKES OUT BOTH HALSEY AND PANDORA AT RINGSIDE! Meanwhile Raven just stands back and lets out a chuckles Madison is feeling fired up as she gets Halsey up and rolls her back inside the ring before sliding in behind her and measures her up as Halsey stumbles back to her feet and turns around – AND MADISON RUNS AND DELIVERS “M.O.D”!!! THE FAMASSER CONNECTS AS MADISON TURNS HER OVER AND MAKES THE COVER!!!

Madison then pops up to her feet and looks to go back on the attack right away as she runs trying to drive the knee into the side of her skull, but Halsey sidesteps it before running and clotheslining her over the top rope, but she’s unaware that Madison held on to the apron as she waits for her to turn around….and she hits her with a stiff forearm before going for a slingshot spear from the apron – BUT HALSEY CATCHES HER WITH A SOCCER STYLE KICK TO THE FACE! Madison is a sitting duck right there as the upper half of her body is hanging off of the second rope….. AND HALSEY THEN GRABS HER BY THE HEAD…AND DELIVERS A ROPE HUNG DDT SPIKING HER HEAD INTO THE MAT!
Eve: She takes a second to shake the cobwebs out and catch her breath in the corner before she turns around and turns her focus to her once more as she goes and picks her up from her front grabbing her by the head…BUT I THINK SHE MAY HAVE WAITED A LITTLE TOO LONG AS MADISON DROPS HALSEY DOWN TO THE MAT AND LOCKS IN A CROSSFACE!! HALSEY TAKING A LITTLE TOO LONG THERE ENDED UP BITING HER AS SHE TOOK EYE OFF THE BALL AND MADISON TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THAT SMALL WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY AND THE CROSSFACE IS LOCKED IN DEEP HERE IN THE CENTER OF THE RING!! MADISON WRENCHING BACK ALMOST BENDING HER BODY LIKE A PRETZEL AS HALSEY TRIES TO SCRAMBLE AND FIND A WAY OUT OF THIS!! Halsey begins to drag her way slowly over to the ropes and she reaches out for that bottom rope….AND HALSEY FLIPS THE PRESSURE OVER INTO A PIN OUT OF NOWHERE!!!

Halsey begins to crawl and drag her way over to the ropes and she’s a few feet away now as he tries reaching out…but not quite there! PANDORA THOUGH IS BACK UP ON THE OUTSIDE AND TRIES PUSHING THE ROPES CLOSER TO HER – BUT RAVEN STEPS IN AND THROWS HER SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE BARRICADE!!!!
Deadprez: HALSEY NOW TAKES ONE BIG LUNGE AND GRABS THE BOTTOM ROPE OUT OF PURE ADRENALINE AS MADISON IS FORCED TO LET GO OF THE CROSSFACE AND IT’S SAFE TO SAY THAT SHE’S NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT AT ALL!! My guess is that was out of both pure adrenaline and desperation. Madison uses the full five count before letting go and wastes no time in going back on the attack giving Halsey no time to recuperate as she begins to stomp the life out of Halsey as she lays on the ring apron clutching to that bottom rope for dear life at this point just trying to survive this flurry from Madison.
Eve: But she can’t hold on for much longer as Madison successfully drags her away from the ropes – THEN STOMPS ON HER HEAD AS HARD AS SHE POSSIBLY CAN!! That was vicious right there as Madison now looks up top and might be looking to put this match away for good as she steps out onto the apron and makes her way up to the top rope – AND SHE LOOKS DOWN AT HALSEY’S LIFELESS BEFORE SHE LAUNCHES HERSELF AND GOES FOR HER “MADDIE BOMB” MOONSAULT FROM THE TOP ROPE….BUT NOBODY HOME AS HALSEY MOVES OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST POSSIBLE MOMENT!! Halsey is up and notices that Madison is in a vulnerable spot here and gets her in position – HALSEY GETS HER IN POSITION LOOKING FOR “THE FALL”….BUT MADISON ESCAPES IT BEFORE GOING FOR A ROUNDHOUSE KICK, HALSEY DUCKS THAT BEFORE HITTING ANOTHER VICIOUS HEADBUTT, AND UH OH – “BLOOD ON THE THRONE!!!” THE FISHERMAN’S SUPLEX AND NECKBREAKER CONNECTS AS SHE MAKES THE COVER!!! WILL THIS BE ENOUGH TO SECURE THE VICTORY?!

Halsey is in a state of disbelief as she thought for sure she had the match won as she pounds the mat in clear frustration arguing with the referee for a moment but she doesn’t let it get to her for long as Pandora yells at her from the outside to stay on the attack and don’t lose focus as she looks to go back on the offensive here as Halsey then doesn’t waste any more time as she gets her up and then runs off the ropes looking to go for “Off WIth Your Head” – SHE GOES FOR HER RUNNING KNEE BUT MADISON MOVES OUT OF THE WAY AVOIDING DISASTER AT THE LAST SECOND AND DRIVES HALSEY BACK FIRST INTO THE CORNER BEFORE HITTING SEVERAL SHOULDER THRUSTS TO THE MIDSECTION OF USAGI! Madison then delivers several palm strikes and kicks to the lower body as Madison looks to have taken control back in this one as she picks her up and sits her on the top rope. Halsey throws shots to the ribs causing her to let go of her…AND NOW IT’S A BATTLE FOR CONTROL BETWEEN THE TWO ON THAT TOP ROPE AS THEY DELIVERS BLOWS TO ONE ANOTHER BACK AND FORTH! AND OH MY – USAGI LOOKS TO HAVE GAINED THE UPPER HAND AS SHE THROWS A HARD HEADBUTT THAT HAS MADISON TEETERING ON THAT TOP ROPE NOW JUST BARELY HANGING ON UP THERE AND USAGI LOOKS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE. BUT BEFORE SHE COULD TRY TO DO ANYTHING, MADISON RESPONDS BACK LUNGING FORWARD WITH A STIFF FOREARM SHOT OF HER OWN BEFORE….MADISON SETS HER UP ONCE AGAIN AND THIS TIME IT CONNECTS!!! Madison doesn’t let it affect her for very long as she refocuses and now thinks of what to do next in order to put her away for good as she looks at the top rope. Madison rolls under the bottom rope and begins to climb up the top rope as she looks down at the motionless body of Halsey on the mat. She stands up tall on the top …AND SHE LAUNCHES AND GOES FOR HER “MADDIE BOMB” MOONSAULT FOR A SECOND TIME – BUT NOBODY HOME AGAIN AS HALSEY GETS OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND!! Madison decided to go high risk again and this time it might just end up costing her this match as Halsey looks like his life just flashed before her eyes knowing just how close Madison was to hitting that and perhaps putting the match away for good.
Deadprez: Both Halsey and Madison are down now in the center of the ring as we are back at square one in this match with these women before they both slowly begin to crawl away from one another before pulling themselves up with the ropes and turning around to face one another…..AND MADISON DRIVES HER FOREARM INTO HALSEY’S FACE, BUT HALSEY RESPONDS BACK AS SHE DELIVERS ANOTHER STEP UP KNEE TO THE FACE THAT DRIVES MADISON OFF THE ROPES AND INTO HER ARMS WHO HITS A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!! now is the one who can sense that the end might be near as she is stalking Madison like a predator does to its prey looking to take advantage of her being in a vulnerable spot. Madison stands up and turns around before Halsey tries to pick her up in a fireman’s carry ….BUT BEFORE WE COULD KNOW WHAT SHE EXACTLY HAD IN MIND,MADISON ESCAPES IT BY SLIDING OFF OF HER SHOULDERS – AND OH MY GOD!!! MADISON JUMPS UP AND LOCKS IN “DEATH’S GRASP!!!!” THE HELL’S GATE CHOKE IS APPLIED ON HALSEY AND HALSEY RIGHT NOW IS LIKE A FISH OUT OF WATER RIGHT NOW IN A PANIC ON WHAT TO DO IN ORDER TO SAVE HERSELF!! THAT LITERALLY CAME OUT OF NOWHERE AND HALSEY IS IN SOME REALLY DEEP TROUBLE RIGHT NOW!!
Eve: LOOK!! PANDORA IS BACK UP AND SHE IS TRYING TO INTERFERE AGAIN BY HOPPING ON THE APRON AND CAUSING THE DISTRACTION SAVING THE MATCH FOR HALSEY AS IT LOOKED LIKE SHE WAS ABOUT TO TAP OR PASS OUT!! The referee is distracted Madison is not happy in the slightest as she lets go of “Death’s Grasp” now…AND RAVEN SAW THAT AS SHE RUNS OVER AND DROPS HER OFF THE APRON BEFORE THEY START GOING AT IT RINGSIDE!!! PANDORA AND RAVEN ARE BATTLING IT OUT HERE!!! Madison may or may have had the match won there but again Pandora got involved in the match.
Deadprez: Pandora looks have the upper hand on Raven as she delivers a thumb to the eye as she tosses Raven shoulder first into the steel steps right next to her! Madison is back up and looks like she has had absolutely enough as she grabs Pandora through the second rope by her hair – AND PANDORA TURNS AROUND AND JUST DRILLED HER WITH BRASS KNUCKLES TO THE FACE!!! THE REFEREE DIDN’T SEE IT AS HALSEY WAS DISTRACTING HIM…AND HALSEY FALLS DOWN ON MADISON FOR THE COVER! Deadprez: It seems like Devolution wanted nothing to do with the receipts Raven had after the match when she got in the ring. They got what they wanted which was the which is all that matters I guess but this issue is far from over.
(Camera fades to the backstage area.)
(Elsewhere in the arena we are taken, as we see the luxurious and humble abode of one Candice Blair. Inside her locker room, ‘under the sea’ was playing in the background, as she was having a conversation with Heidi Huxley.)
Candice Blair: Ever since defeating Caroline, the optimism has been at an all time high! Yet, I find myself still wondering what there is for me to embargo on next!
Heidi Huxley: Ever since your victory over Caroline, you seem to be so much more ready to get back out there and on your best grind!

(Kennedy Street is sat in her office, her feet kicked up on the desk and shaking her head at Damian Kutcher who is standing the other side. They seem to be in the middle of a discussion, and the way both of their body language is, it seems that they are not in agreement.)
Kennedy Street: Can you remember our first interaction Damian? I can because you are going to learn that Kennie remembers everything. Every single interaction that I have with every single member of my staff and roster. Just to prove that point, you told me that you were Mr. Hustle & Flow…
(The camera catches Heidi Huxley visibly cringing a little at the name. She even gives a little shudder as she eyes Damian suspiciously.)
Kennedy Street: And honestly, from what I have seen so far, it’s Mr. Hustle and Flow my ass. More like Mr. Bustle and Slow honey. Did you hear that Heidi, Kennie did a funny honey.
(She looks over at Heidi who is doing her best to stifle a giggle. Kennedy isn’t quite as polite, and does indeed laugh, which gets Damian’s back up a little.)
Damian Kutcher: What are you talking about? I am HIM, I’m one of the best in the business and someone with your knowledge of the industry shouldn’t be questioning that. It’s why you signed me after all isn’t it, because of how good I am.
(Kennedy just scoffs again, rolling her eyes at Heidi.)

(Kennedy hesitates for a moment, respecting her role in the company. There was a time when Kennedy would have drags Damian over the desk and give him the ass kicking of a lifetime, but that wasn’t how she did business now. Not allowing her emotions to get the better of her she crosses her feet, but keeps them on the desk, her eyes never leaving Damian who is still waiting for a response, not realizing how close he had been to Kennedy calling in AJAX to ‘sort’ him out. Kennedy then allows herself a smile, before continuing.)
Kennedy Street: Honey, anyone with even an ounce of intelligence would understand that you have lost your last two matches and have had FAR from the impact I expected from you when I signed you for the Showdown brand. I expected you to have knocked over all competitions and be knocking at my door for a title shot, and yet here I am left wondering if I have made a mistake. And Kennie doesn’t make mistakes, well at least not ones that I cannot rectify by getting rid of the problem with a simple click of my fingers.
(Damian is being dismissed, and he doesn’t like it one bit. He wasn’t used to it, especially by someone in power.)
Kennedy Street: You didn’t even see fit to come in here and continue our conversation that we started at The Last Stand. You can surely understand why Kennie is having her doubts?
Damian Kutcher: Well… I….
(Damian seems to be lost for words, realizing that whether he liked it or not, Kennedy was right, but he doesn’t get to continue his comments before he is cut off by her again.)
Kennedy Street: You want to be thankful that you have a compassionate General Manager like Kennie and are not on Voltage or Dynasty. Because if it was them, you may well have been shown the door by now. But instead of looking for employment… instead you are going to be competing in the Extreme Enigma Battle Royal, and you get to prove yourself at Road to Redemption as being who you say you are, instead of what currently looks like nothing more than hot air.

Kennedy Street: Honey, I don’t want to hear another thing…
(This time it is Kennedy who is cut off, as Damian reaches forwards and takes off one of Kennie’s heels. Slowly, and almost seductively, Damian starts massaging her foot, his face closer to her foot than it should be, his tongue slightly poking from his lips. It really does seem for a second like he is going to take that tongue to her toe. Kennie seems lost for a moment, before she finally speaks.)
Kennedy Street: OK Damian, Kennie will give you a second chance…
(Damian smirks, and moves his head forwards, Kennedy however pulling her foot away.)
Kennedy Street: But NOT right now.
(Damian grins, gives Kennedy a wink and then without another word, he walks out the office, as far as he was concerned, mission accomplished. Kennedy puts her heel back on, and then turns to Heidi.)

(Heidi nods her head, her eyes narrowing as she looks to the door that Damian has just left through.)

ARIA: Apparently, I really don’t. I might pride myself in being a detective, but her betrayal was something that I never saw coming. There were no signs leading to a betrayal.
Eve: Usagi Senshi gave out the impression that she was always in your shadow, ARIA. Usagi was never given a chance to flourish because they were focused on making sure that she got everything that you wanted.
Deadprez: Now, this spat between former friends is something that I don’t want to meddle in. I see that it’s become more personal as the weeks go by and we’re going to see it settle at Road to Redemption in EAW’s second-ever ‘Trip to Purgatory’ match. I know that the two of you are going to beat the hell out of each other. It’s something that you never envisioned doing to a friend.
ARIA: I never saw Usagi’s issues leading to ‘Trip to Purgatory.’ But, her actions last week and throughout this entire season have made me realize that this version of Usagi and the one that I’ve always known are two completely different people.
(‘7 Rings’ by Ariana Grande begins to play throughout the speakers. With a woman that’s always been booed, there are a few supporters that are peaking through the receptions in the arena. Veena Adams walks out through the crowd, not acknowledging the crowd, but LOVING the spotlight.)
Gina Romano: …AND INTRODUCING HER OPPONENT…FROM GREENWICH, CONNECTICUT…SHE IS ‘THE GOLDEN STAR’…VEENA ADAMS!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Here is the woman that you will be facing with your National Elite Championship on the line. Veena has been determined to get this rematch and about six months later, she gets that rematch.
Jon Kelton: Rematches are really a thing here? But, I digress. After all, I’m a fighting champion and I’ll give Elitists like Veena Adams a bit of my time.
Eve: I’m curious to know what that interaction earlier tonight —
Jon Kelton: She’s scared, Eve. Deep down, Veena knows that this is going to be a match that she is going to be losing. It might not hit her until Road to Redemption, but I saw it the moment that she was able to get this match approved.
Deadprez: You’ve held that title for about six months now. What are you going to do to make sure that you end 2023 as the National Elite Champion?
Jon Kelton: What me and the rest of The Devolution have done and that’s simply dominate.

Gavin Kirkland: RIGHT AWAY, USAGI SENSHI EXITS THE RING AS SOON AS VEENA ADAMS TURNS HER SIGHTS TOWARDS HER!
ARIA: Of course, she did.
Jon Kelton: Hey, hey, hey, why should Usagi want to do things during Veena’s time? The world does not revolve around her.
Eve: The referee is halting Veena Adams back as Usagi Senshi is pacing back-and-forth, trying to prepare herself before getting back inside the ring. Veena Adams came into this match swinging, wanting to get her hands on Usagi. Now, we see Usagi is good as she tries to roll herself back inside the ring — AND, VEENA GOES RIGHT AFTER HER! BUT, USAGI ROLLS OUT OF THE RING ON TIME!
Deadprez: To me, this screams like Usagi Senshi is trying to get underneath the skin of ‘The Golden Star.’ Veena Adams is demanding for Usagi to get back inside the ring, but Usagi is trying to mentally prepare herself for the competitive match up that we’re going to be seeing.
Jon Kelton: This is something that I’d be doing, honestly. The National Elite Champion doesn’t do things on other people’s terms, but his.
ARIA: She’s just wasting Veena’s time.
(Jon Kelton and ARIA proceed to bicker in the background as Usagi Senshi begins to make her way up the steps and get inside the ring. Usagi tells the referee to make sure that Veena is held back as she makes her way up the ramp. Usagi makes it to the ring without Veena racing towards her. It seems to be doing good as — )
Gavin Kirkland: VEENA ADAMS NAILS A BIG BOOT TO THE FACE OF USAGI SENSHI! Usagi crashes back to one of the corners! AND, INSTANTLY, VEENA BEGINS TO STOMP THE LIVING HELL OUT OF USAGI’S FACE AT THE CORNER! VEENA IS NOT STOPPING FOR ANYTHING! ‘The Golden Star’ manages to stop, so that she can bask in the spotlight! But, she doesn’t do so for long enough as she connects with a running hip attack at the corner! This knocks Usagi’s skull back! Veena pulls ‘The Master of Excellence’ and hooks her by the leg for the first pin fall of the match!

Eve: Usagi Senshi with a kick out! Usagi sits herself back, BUT VEENA ADAMS GRABS THE BACK OF USAGI’S HEAD AND BEGINS TO BATTER USAGI WITH SOME PUNCHES TO THE FACE! SHE GRABS USAGI BY A FIST FULL OF HER HAIR AS VEENA CONNECTS WITH A KNEE TO THE STOMACH OF USAGI! SHE BEGINS TO WALK BACK TO THE ROPES, BEFORE REBOUNDING OFF OF THEM AND CONNECTING WITH A SOMERSAULT NECK BREAKER! Veena is up to her feet as she waits for Usagi to start recollecting herself to her feet, but she pulls Usagi closer to her! Veena applies a double underhook on Usagi’s arms before connecting with three rolling double underhook suplexes — ‘Deadly Recall’! Three rolling underhook suplexes, never losing steam or control!
Deadprez: Veena Adams finds herself to her feet as Usagi Senshi is clutching to her lower back as she tries to find her way back to her feet! Veena races after Usagi, connecting with a running European uppercut on her, which knocks Usagi to the ropes! Usagi manages to clutch onto a piece of rope! Veena proceeds to go after Usagi, but Usagi is demanding for the referee to step in between them and prevent Veena from moving! Usagi sticks her head through the ropes as she halts!
ARIA: Not this again! But, it seems like she’s getting some good practice in for when she tries to duck me, but that’s not going to be happening at Road to Redemption.
Jon Kelton: Usagi isn’t gonna duck you, girl. But, Veena needs to calm down. I mean, I know that she’s Adams after all, but I like to think that Uncle Ryan taught her not to waste all of her energy in the beginning of this match up. She’s gonna tire herself out.
Gavin Kirkland: Now, that is a good point there. I’m not going to lie, but we’re hearing some words of wisdom from the National Elite Champion. But, Veena Adams is just built different from your typical Elitist —
Jon Kelton: They all fall the same, Gavin.
Eve: The referee is managing to back Veena Adams away from Usagi Senshi. I think that this moment of separation might have been smart for Usagi to regroup and get herself together. Veena is not amused. You can see that Veena was starting to get something going for herself. She was in THE ZONE. BUT, AFTER A MOMENT OR TWO, THE REFEREE STEPS ASIDE AND LETS THIS MATCH RESUME — BUT, USAGI CONNECTS WITH A RUNNING FOREARM STRIKE THAT TAKES VEENA BACK! THEN, USAGI MANAGES TO GRAB VEENA BY THE BACK OF HER HEAD AS SHE SLAMS VEENA’S HEAD AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLE! VEENA TURNS HERSELF AROUND AS USAGI PROCEEDS TO KICK THE STOMACH OF THE FORMER NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPION! SHE CONNECTS WITH A CORNER FOOT CHOKE TO VEENA AT THE CORNER! USAGI IS LOOKING TOWARDS YOU, ARIA!
ARIA: Yes, I see you, Usagi. But, make sure you see, Veena as well!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!
Deadprez: Usagi Senshi gets her foot off the neck of ‘The Golden Star’ as Usagi is looking at the referee before grabbing Veena Adams and connecting with a belly-to-belly suplex out of the corner! Veena tries to find herself to her feet, but Usagi connects with a spinning backfist as that takes Veena back! Usagi follows that up with a dropkick as that sends Veena back to the horizontal set of ropes! Usagi connects with some punches and slaps around Veena’s body! Veena is trying to block each shot, but Usagi is going VERY rapid with all of these! It’s almost like she’s got some super speed!
ARIA: She’s one of the quickest individuals that I have seen wrestle. Something, I’m pretty sure that I told Veena about a few weeks ago. Her agility, but Veena, from what I have personally experienced myself, has a lot of strength. That’s something that not many people will give her credit on, but she’s a strong girl.
Jon Kelton: Not as strong as me. But, we’ll see what she cooks in this match.
Gavin Kirkland: Usagi Senshi finalizes all of that with a huge back hand across the face of Veena Adams! Usagi gets Veena with a fist full of her gorgeous locks as she holds her there before delivering a massive headbutt! This causes Veena to go back a bit as Usagi connects with a knife edge chop! This takes Veena back even more as Usagi connects with another knife edge chop — BUT, VEENA PROCEEDS TO FIGHT BACK AS SHE CONNECTS WITH ANOTHER CHOP TO THE CHEST OF USAGI! THEN, USAGI THROWS A PUNCH TO VEENA! VEENA THROWS A PUNCH TO USAGI! THE TWO OF THESE WOMEN ARE TRADING SHOTS BACK-AND-FORTH WITH EACH OTHER, NOT LETTING THE OTHER REST!
Deadprez: Usagi Senshi seems like she’s going to go for a kick, but Veena Adams manages to grab onto the boot of the ‘Master of Excellence’ and Usagi is holding her hand up, trying to reason with ‘The Golden Star,’ but Veena forms a deadly smirk on her face before connecting with a dragon screw leg whip! Usagi is sent to her side as Veena is flipping her hair to the other side! Slowly, it seems like Usagi is trying to pick herself into a crawling position, but Veena stands on each side of Usagi before grabbing her by the waist and hoisting her up with a German suplex! A beautiful bridge is applied to the German as Veena has Usagi’s shoulders down for the cover!

Gavin Kirkland: Usagi Senshi with a kick out! She manages to roll back to her knees as Veena Adams tries to get to her feet! BUT, USAGI HAS VEENA BY HER HANDS IN SOME KIND OF SET UP FOR A SURFBOARD STRETCH, BUT SHE’S NOT GOING FOR THE MOVE! WAIT, IT SEEMS LIKE VEENA IS NOT ABLE TO RECOLLECT HERSELF TO HER FEET! USAGI HAS VEENA’S ARMS STRETCHED BEHIND! USAGI CONNECTS WITH A NASTY KNEE TO THE BACK OF VEENA’S SKULL AS THAT TAKES HER FORWARD! But, Usagi still has one of Veena’s hands! She looks to the turnbuckle before slowly getting herself up there! She begins to tightrope walk and I’m just impressed with the balance of Usagi Senshi! Veena Adams seems to be in some sort of trance as Usagi manages to flip herself and connect with a Mexican arm drag on the former National Elite Champion!
Eve: Veena Adams is trying to shake some feeling back into her arm, but with that opening, Usagi Senshi runs after her! Usagi nails Veena with a dropkick as that sends Veena through the middle rope and out of the ring! But, Usagi manages to exit through the middle rope in her control. VEENA MANAGES TO GRAB USAGI BY HER ANKLE, TRYING TO PULL HER DOWN! BUT, USAGI MANAGES TO USE HER OTHER LEG TO CONNECT WITH A PENALTY KICK AS SHE SENDS THE FORMER NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPION BACK! WITH A BIT OF ROOM, USAGI MANAGES TO JUMP OFF THE APRON AND CONNECT WITH A SOMERSAULT CLOTHESLINE TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING! USAGI HAS HER ARMS UP AS SHE’S BASKING IN THE HATRED OF THE CROWD AND —
(Usagi Senshi turns to look at ARIA, who had been paying attention to this match. Usagi ,with a huge smirk on her face, approaches ARIA, who stands up, ready to attack if needed too.)
ARIA: I come here at peace, Usagi. I’m not looking for a fight.
(Usagi Senshi launches gently towards ARIA, which causes the former Specialists Champion to fall back to her chair. Usagi slightly laughs, feeling a sense of amusement while trying to scare ARIA. But, to ARIA, Usagi had caught her off guard and it wasn’t really too much in her nature to do anything, especially with Usagi’s focus on Veena Adams.)
Deadprez: Now, that was really interesting.
Jon Kelton: You really gonna let her do that to you?
ARIA: I’ll get my hands on her at Road to Redemption.
Gavin Kirkland: Usagi Senshi begins to pick up Veena Adams, who is slowly making her way to a vertical base! But, Usagi connects with a back kick to the gut of Veena! Veena bends forward in response to that as Usagi grabs Veena by her wrist and pulls her into the steel steps! But, Veena manages to catch herself with those steel steps! She prevented herself from colliding with those steel steps! Usagi runs towards her, looking to clothesline Veena over those steel steps! BUT, VEENA MANAGES TO TRIP USAGI BY HER ANKLES, CAUSING USAGI TO FALL FIRST AGAINST THOSE STEEL STEPS! OH GOD…
Eve: Usagi Senshi holding her nose in pain! I wouldn’t be shocked if she broke her nose there! Meanwhile, Veena Adams is not looking to waste any time here! She turns Usagi to her back before connecting with some stiff punches to her face! She grabs Usagi up by her nose! Geez, I think that might be making things a bit worse for Usagi! But, Usagi connects with a headbutt as she sends Veena back! Usagi is checking her nose and happily, it’s just some minor blood.
ARIA: Any blood pouring out of your nose is dangerous, Eve. Usagi is someone who can take a TON of punishment. With this match and at Road to Redemption, it’s about finding ways to inflict pain that is going to be too much for someone like Usagi.
Deadprez: It’s what makes the stipulation for you and Usagi terrifying, the unpredictability factor gets turned up.
Jon Kelton: It’s going to be fun to see Usagi rearrange your face. I mean, someone’s due to give you a beating. You never learn how to stfu.
ARIA: I could say the same about you, Jon. Veena Adams is going to smoke you and take your title.
(Again, Jon Kelton and ARIA begin to bicker with each other as the commentators try to do their job on top of that.)
Gavin Kirkland: God, these two are bickering. But, I understand — these two have been on opposing sides all season. They’ve faced each other on a couple of occasions. The same thing with Usagi and Veena. Usagi gets Veena by the back of her head before slamming her against the apron! Usagi manages to maintain control of Veena before rolling her back inside the ring. Usagi begins to head for the top turnbuckle as this next move is totally going to be a high risk for her!
Eve: But, I see that Veena Adams is not going to go down without a fight! She is looking to join the ‘Master of Excellence’ on the top turnbuckle! BUT, USAGI SENSHI THROWS A PUNCH TO THE TOP OF VEENA’S HEAD, TRYING TO TAKE HER DOWN! BUT, VEENA ONLY GOES DOWN A TURNBUCKLE BEFORE GETTING HERSELF BACK UP WITH USAGI! VEENA THROWS A PUNCH TO USAGI! USAGI THROWS A PUNCH TO VEENA! VEENA WITH A PUNCH TO USAGI! BUT, USAGI CONNECTS WITH A HEADBUTT AS THAT SENDS VEENA BACK DOWN! USAGI BEGINS TO FLY OFF THE TURNBUCKLE AND CONNECTS WITH MISSILE DROPKICK AS THAT SENDS VEENA TO HER BACK! Usagi gets Veena and throws her underneath the middle rope and proceeds to choke her, but don’t you find it interesting that it’s where you can see her, ARIA?
Jon Kelton: Eve trying to be a little instigator, huh?
Eve: It’s just an observation.
ARIA: I see you, Usagi and you’re not phasing me out.
Deadprez: Usagi Senshi applies a rope choke on Veena Adams! But, she’s looking in your direction, ARIA. It’s like Usagi is almost envisioning choking you at Road to Redemption, but I’m not sure if your match will have any ropes. But, that could always be substituted with something —
ARIA: You are not helping, DP. She can choke me with whatever rope that she can get her hands on. I’m not going to back down from her.
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! GET OFF OF HER, USAGI!
Gavin Kirkland: Usagi Senshi releases whatever hold that she has of ropes, which she was choking Veena Adams with. The referee moves her back as he begins to scowl at Usagi. Usagi proceeds to brush it off and go back to inflicting as much pain as she can on Veena Adams! Veena begins to crawl herself to one of the corners, trying to cough some air back to her lungs! But, Usagi manages to grab Veena by her waist and connect with a gut wrench suplex! Veena is showing signs of getting back to her feet! Although, it’s Usagi that beats Veena to the punch before grabbing her and pulling her in with a forearm to the face! Usagi rebounds off the vertical set of ropes, sitting on the back of Veena and connecting with a sunset flip — all happening so fast! Usagi has Veena there for the cover!

ARIA: I had Madison Kaline try that nonsense earlier this year, so you can see how unamused that I am at the moment.
Jon Kelton: Not going to lie — Usagi ate that move. Did it better than you.
Gavin Kirkland: Usagi Senshi finds her way back to her feet! She tries to get Veena Adams back to her feet and I think that she might be looking to go for another ‘Glitch in the Matrix’ but Veena manages to get her feet down! But, Usagi looks to attempt the move again! But, Veena is keeping her feet planted on the ground! She is not letting that move be connected to her for a second time in this match! BUT, VEENA MANAGES TO GET A GOOD HOLD OF USAGI’S LEGS AND LOOK AT THIS! SHE MANAGES TO CONNECT WITH A KNEELING BACK-TO-BELLY PILEDRIVER AS THAT TAKES USAGI DOWN! NOW THAT WAS A HECK OF A COUNT THERE! SHE COULD HAVE IT HERE?!??!

Veena now grabs Usagi by the nape of her neck as she holds her thumb out as the crowd is beginning to feel quite nervous about what Veena is going to do neck! She is giving Usagi a ‘Thumbs Up,’ BUT USAGI MANAGES TO DUCK OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND! VEENA STUMBLES FORWARD AS USAGI TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THAT BY GETTING BEHIND VEENA, GETTING HER IN A SLEEPERHOLD, BUT CONNECTS WITH A SLEEPER SUPLEX AND NOT THE SUBMISSION HOLD! VEENA TRIES TO ROLL HERSELF TO HER KNEES AS USAGI CONNECTS WITH A SUPERKICK THAT TAKES VEENA DOWN! USAGI PULLS HER FORWARD AND — ‘ZIRCON DRIVER’ — ARIA’S VARIATION OF A TIGER DRIVER 98 THAT SHE’S USED! VEENA LANDS ON THE TOP OF HER HEAD AS USAGI GOES FOR A COVER!

ARIA: What is the end game of all of this? Is she trying to prove that she can do my moves better than me? Is this nothing more than her pathetic version of getting underneath my skin? What’s stopping Usagi from just ending this match?
Deadprez: It seems like Usagi Senshi might be taking that advice as she signals for the end of this match! She’s looking towards your direction as she seems to pick up Veena Adams in a crucifix position!
(A headset being taken off is heard as ARIA rises from her seat. She had more than enough with these childish, petty games. It’s one thing to use her moves, but it’s another thing to use the moves of people that she highly respected. Obviously, she knew exactly the move that Usagi Senshi was going to hit next. ARIA begins to find herself on the apron as she tries to get Usagi’s attention. Usagi drops Veena Adams before turning her attention towards ARIA.)
Gavin Kirkland: This is a twist in this match that I didn’t anticipate. It seemed like ARIA was not going to stand for Usagi Senshi to use whatever move she had intended to use next.
Eve: It wasn’t just any move, Gav. It was the same move that ARIA uses as an inspiration to Alex Myers, her partner.
(Usagi Senshi had gotten the reaction that she wanted from ARIA. ARIA was standing on the apron, steamed and more than ready to pounce, but she’s really needing to relax herself before thinking about her next move. She could go after Usagi, but that would cost Veena Adams the match.)
Deadprez: Usagi Senshi has her arms out wide open as she more than welcomes the fight from ARIA! Meanwhile, ARIA is trying not to be phased by the entire thing! Usagi wants for ARIA to respond in a certain way — BUT, LOOK AT VEENA ADAMS FROM BEHIND! SHE SHOVES USAGI SENSHI FORWARD AS SHE KNOCKS DOWN ARIA OFF THE APRON! VEENA LOOKS TO CONNECT WITH AN O’CONNOR ROLL AS SHE GRABS ONTO THE TIGHTS OF USAGI! IS VEENA GOING TO STEAL A VICTORY HERE THANKS TO A DISTRACTION FROM ARIA???

The security that was appointed by Showdown General Manager Kennedy Street is holding ARIA back! ARIA is trying to launch herself forward and get herself in the ring! But, the security is holding her back! The referee is yelling at ARIA —
Referee: (off-mic) YOU, ARIA….OUT!!!!!!!
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Eve: ARIA was just ejected from ringside! The look on ARIA’s face is telling the entire story as she had no intentions of getting herself into some deep trouble.
Jon Kelton: It’s a Christmas miracle, for real.
Deadprez: There’s not much that ARIA can do with the situation. She is trying to explain her situation to the referee, but he’s already made up his mind. Slowly, ARIA begins to make her way away from ringside and make her way up the ramp.
Jon Kelton: Good. Now, we can have ourselves a nice match up and I can watch Usagi roughen up Veena before I face her in a few weeks.

Eve: Welcome back to Saturday Night Showdown, everyone! Just before the commercial break, we saw an altercation between Usagi Senshi and ARIA. Usagi had been using some of ARIA’s signature moves, but it was Usagi almost using a move from ARIA’s significant other, that caused her to stand up and find herself on the apron. It was Veena Adams pushing Usagi and knocking over ARIA in the process that caused ARIA to lose it and try to attack Usagi! But, the security was able to get a hold of her. The referee ejected ARIA from ringside, so that leaves Jon Kelton still here!
Jon Kelton: As I should be. I’m the National Elite Champion. The poster boy of The Devolution. I am the must-see champion on the Showdown brand. You all should be blessed to be in my presence.
Deadprez: Usagi Senshi is trying to reach for the bottom rope! Veena Adams is pulling the arm back, straining that arm more than it probably is at the moment. It’s almost like Veena is ripping the arm apart. But still, Usagi is finding the strength to keep fighting on! And…she manages to get her foot on the bottom rope! Veena automatically releases the hold! She’s not happy about that whatsoever! She finds herself up to her feet as Usagi tries to find her way back to her feet — BUT VEENA RUNS TOWARDS HER AND CONNECTS WITH A DOUBLE KNEE ARMBREAKER AND ONCE MORE, IT SEEMS LIKE SHE’S GOING FOR THE ARM BAR! Eve: WHAT A BOUT, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! WE SAW BOTH VEENA ADAMS AND USAGI SENSHI TAKE EACH OTHER TO THE LIMIT! BOTH OF THEM DISPLAYED SOME WONDERFUL WRESTLING, WHICH GOES ALONG WITH WHAT THIS BRAND HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT!
Deadprez: Usagi Senshi had a few instances in this match, where I could have seen her taking it. I thought the ejection of ARIA from ringside was going to benefit her and honestly, it benefitted her a lot. But, Veena Adams’ resourceful thinking was something that allowed for Veena to nab the victory there!
Jon Kelton: That was smart. It was truly a pleasure with seating with the three of you, but I got some things on my agenda to cross out.
(A headset being taken off is heard as Jon Kelton grabs the Interwire Championship, which was placed on the table. He begins to slide inside the ring, where Veena Adams is celebrating her win.)
Gavin Kirkland: NO! JON! NO! VEENA ADAMS TURNS AROUND AS JON KELTON SWINGS THAT NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPION, LOOKING TO KNOCK HER OUT WITH THE VERY CHAMPIONSHIP THAT HE TOOK FROM HER AT PAIN FOR PRIDE!
Eve: But, Veena Adams slides out of the ring before the title could connect with her face! Veena was this close to eating that championship!
(‘7 Rings’ plays once more as Veena Adams begins to walk backwards up the ramp. Her eyes never leave the sight of Jon Kelton. Meanwhile, Jon raises the National Elite Championship high above his head. The two rivals begin to trash talk to each other.)
Gavin Kirkland: Things have intensified here tonight. It makes me wonder how much more intense it can get before Road to Redemption?
(The scene fades to a commercial break.)
(After the commercial, Showdown returns to live action. Music is pumping through the speakers while the sold-out crowd reacts to Heidi Huxley standing inside the ring. The Disney representative looks pensive and she is clutching a microphone, and once the music starts to fade, the fans quiet down.)
Heidi Huxley: This season has certainly been tumultuous, to say the least, with Elitists pushing the boundaries and disrespecting Kennedy Street and myself. While a lot of this has been allowed to slide, one thing that is no longer going to happen is Elitist blatantly breaching their contracts. If you are signed to this company and a member of the Showdown roster, you are expected to show up every week unless told otherwise.
(Heidi pauses for a moment to allow her words to sink, but everyone knows where she is going with this.)
Heidi Huxley: Former New Breed Champion, Caroline, has not been seen or heard from since The Last Stand, and because of that, she is in breach of her contract with Elite Answers Wrestling. Kennedy and I have high expectations for the members of this roster and it’s becoming abundantly clear that Caroline is a problematic member of this roster. Last week, an ultimatum was issued and seeing as how Caroline’s had all day to show up, and is still not here, I have no choice but to follow through on suspending her indefinitely.
(While not the most popular member of the Showdown roster, the audience reacts to the news of Caroline being suspended with a mix of cheers and boos. The unpredictable Elitist might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but Caroline’s mysterious nature always leaves people entertained.)
Heidi Huxley: Kennedy and I had high hopes for Caroline this season, but the insubordination she has shown from the very beginning simply will not be tolerated any longer. We’ve been lenient, wanting to give this talented young woman a chance, but she has done nothing but throw our good will back in our faces. It’s unfortunate that it’s come to this, but I hope the Showdown roster takes notice of this. (All of a sudden, the lights inside the arena go off causing Heidi to stop speaking. The audience erupts, knowing what that means, and they only get louder as the lights start to flicker. ‘Living Dead Girl’ by Rob Zombie begins to blast throughout the building.)
Gavin Kirkland: :blessed: :blessed: :blessed: MY FAVORITE EMO GOTH IS HERE!!!!
Eve: As Heidi stated a few minutes ago, Caroline has been missing in action since she was buried underneath a pile of Disney princesses at The Last Stand and I can’t say that I’m surprised she’s waiting until just now to make an appearance. If there is anything we have learned about Caroline this season it’s that she likes to play games.
Deadprez: And force people’s hands.
(The arena goes dark again and the music abruptly cuts. The crowd is loud, knowing something is about to go down, and finally, their expectations are met. The lights flash before fully engulfing the arena again and Caroline is seen standing in the ring right in front of Heidi. Heidi looks pissed that Caroline has decided to show up now, and this has brought a smile to Caroline’s face. She has a microphone and raises it up.)
Caroline: How many times do you need to be told that I do things on my own time?
(Heidi’s face flushes in anger.)
Heidi Huxley: No. Just no. You don’t get to do things on your own terms, Caroline. You are a contracted employee of EAW and you clearly don’t understand that. You need to learn that Kennedy and I are the ones who call the shots on Showdown and you need to fall in line.
(Caroline simply rolls her eyes.)
Caroline: What you don’t understand is that I do what I want, when I want, and there is nothing you can do to change that. Suspending me indefinitely isn’t going to keep me from showing up, especially when I’ve been here all along. Every week I’ve made my presence felt, you just haven’t seen it with your own eyes. Who’s fault is that? Perhaps you should pay more attention to what goes on, Heidi, because you truly had the control you think you have, you would have noticed me. Don’t blame me for the fact you’re afraid of the dark and don’t have the balls to come looking for me in the places I find comfortable.
(Heidi opens her mouth to reply, but Caroline silences her with a flick of the hand.)
Caroline: I would have thought YOU learned YOUR lesson by now considering what happened the last time Kennedy and yourself attempted to threaten me. I’m sure you still see what I did to you in your nightmares and if I were capable of being happy, I would find some type of solace in that. Despite that, you still find the need to threaten me. I don’t take too kindly to that, Heidi.
Heidi Huxley: Imagine thinking I care at this point. You claim you have been here, but there has been no trace of you. I don’t believe a word that is coming out of your mouth right now, but since you’re here now, I guess you won’t be suspended. I doubt you know what Kennedy talked about earlier, but there will be a Showdown versus Voltage Showcase match at Road to Redemption. You’re going to be on Showdown’s team, Caroline, and guess who you’ll be working with?
(Caroline raised an eyebrow.)

(A smug look crossed Heidi’s face, but Caroline’s face remained impassive. A few seconds passed and all of a sudden, Heidi let out a blood curdling scream. Black mist coated her face as she fell to the mat, clawing at her eyes. A sinister look crossed the former champion’s face as her theme music started to play. As Caroline took her leave, Showdown faded out to the last commercial break of the night.)
(The camera returns to the ring where Gina Romano is standing with a microphone as she is ready to start the introductions for tonight’s main event.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen, this next contest is TV TIME REMAINING and is a SIX PERSON EXTREME ELIMINATION CHAMBER PREVIEW TAG TEAM MATCH SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!

(“Be Legendary” by Pop Evil starts to play as the trio of PJ Hendrx, Chef Viz, and the Answers World Champion Adam Lucas enters the arena and immediately head to the ring.)

Deadprez: Here we go! Here comes the first trio making their way to the ring for a huge six man tag team match in a special preview match where all six participants are part of the Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road to Redemption.
Gavin Kirkland: WOOOOOO! CHEF VIZ IS HERE! Now it is time for him to cook up another masterpiece and another victory. This is going to be awesome to see!
Eve: Adam has a huge task ahead of him at Road to Redemption, but tonight he needs to work with PJ Hendrx and Chef Viz in order to survive this match. Their opposition is a trio that they shouldn’t take lightly.
(Viz, PJ, and Adam enter the ring and take their corner as Adam Lucas holds his Answers World Championship in the air as his entrance music fades off. Seconds later, “Kamikaze” by RedHook starts to play as Daryl Kinkade, Solomon Stane, and Scott Diamond enter the arena and waste no time heading to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing their opponents! At a total combined weight of 756 pounds. Here is the team of “THE KINK OF ELITE” DARYL KINKADE, “THE DELIVERER” SOLOMON STANE, AND “THE MAD TITAN” SCOTT DIAMOND!
Gavin Kirkland: Here comes the opposition, but they are taking on Chef Viz and nobody can cook like Chef Viz. Walking to their deaths if you ask me.
Eve: Oh shut up! The match hasn’t even started yet and you are spouting out all this crap. All these men are partners tonight, but in a few weeks at Road to Redemption, they will be enemies.
Deadprez: This match has all the elements to be either a match for the ages or a complete and utter disaster. I guess we are about to find out. This huge main event is about to begin.)
(Daryl, Solomon, and Scott enter the ring and immediately start heading towards the other team ready to fight, but the referee is doing their best to keep the teams separated long enough to get them to their corners before calling for the bell. )

Deadprez: The bell has rung and we are underway with this huge main event. Extreme Elimination Chamber Preview match. Now the teams are deciding who will be starting the match.
Gavin Kirkland: If one team was smart, they would have Chef Viz start the match and never tag in since he can win the match on his own because he knows how to cook up a masterpiece from start to finish.
Eve: Mhmmm. Solomon Stane has elected to start for his team while Adam Lucas takes the honor of starting for his team. Oh this is going to be good. Solomon and Adam lock up in the center of the ring and it’s Solomon Stane who gets the early advantage.
Deadprez: He has a side headlock on Adam Lucas BEFORE ELBOWING ADAM IN THE BACK OF THE NECK! That shot drops Adam to a knee AND SOLOMON STANE WITH THE RIGHTS TO THE HEAD!
Eve: The referee is admonishing Solomon about opening up the fists about those punches before he listens on four before being disqualified on five. Solomon shoves Adam’s face to get him to fall to the mat.
Gavin Kirkland: Solomon Stane is in control as he hits the ropes–

Eve: And we see that Daryl Kinkade has tagged himself in and Solomon didn’t like that one bit. The referee is telling Solomon to get on the apron and Daryl runs right over and starts pounding on the Answers World Champion.
Deadprez: This match involves six explosive elements, so it’s kind of a “can they coexist” type of situation as Daryl brings Adam back to his feet and hooks his arms BEFORE SNAPPING HIM OVER WITH A BUTTERFLY SUPLEX!
Gavin Kirkland: Way to go, Adam. Your team could have been cooking right now if Chef Viz was in the match, but nope. Adam took things upon himself. Now he’s getting the crap beat out of him.
Deadprez: This could be a short night if Adam doesn’t find a way to tag out. Kinkade is still in control of this match as he brings Adam back to his feet and starts throwing forearms into the Champion’s face.
Gavin Kirkland: Adam is being staggered into the ropes AND KINKADE WITH A STRAIGHT CHOP TO THE CHEST OF THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION! NO PLAYING AROUND IN THIS MATCH!
Eve: Every person in this match is a former champion including the current Answers World Champion. Kinkade is still in control of this match while he whips Adam to the ropes–

Eve: Daryl turns to the corner AS PJ JUMPS OFF THE TOP ROPE AND WRAPS HIS LEGS AROUND DARYL’S NECK BEFORE SNAPPING HIM OVER WITH THE HEADSCISSOR TAKEOVER FROM THE TOP ROPE! ALMOST A MODIFIED HURRICANRANA!
Gavin Kirkland: Daryl sent for the ride and he gets back to his feet AND RUNS RIGHT INTO THE LARIAT FROM PJ AS DARYL IS SENT BACK DOWN TO THE MAT! PJ is back to his feet BEFORE EXECUTING A STANDING MOONSAULT AND HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE QUICK COVER!

Eve: DARYL KICKS OUT AT ONE! Now PJ is putting the boots to Daryl as he rolls away to try to catch a breather, but PJ is quickly on his heels AND DARYL MAKES IT TO THE ROPES! The referee is backing PJ away from the ropes.
Deadprez: PJ gets free and goes running towards Daryl once again, BUT DARYL GRABS PJ BY THE FRONT OF THE TIGHTS AND SENDS HIM FACE FIRST INTO THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE!

Gavin Kirkland: UH OH! Daryl rolled into his own corner and Scott Diamond now tags himself in. This isn’t going to be good. Possibly the strongest member of his team in Scott in the ring with the smallest man in the entire match in PJ Hendrx.
Deadprez: This could be a very horrible mismatch right here, but don’t expect PJ to back down, though. Right now, PJ is on the mat and Scott grabs PJ around the waist AND JUST LIFTS HIM STRAIGHT FROM THE MAT!
Gavin Kirkland: PJ is in trouble right now as he tries to kick away from Scott, BUT SCOTT JUST THROWS HIM LIKE IT WAS NOTHING WITH THAT OVERHEAD BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX! OH MY GAWD!
Eve: Did you see how much hang time PJ got when he was thrown by Scott. Oh GAWD! That was dangerous, but that is Scott Diamond in his element. PJ was turned inside out after that suplex!

Gavin Kirkland: OF COURSE THAT WON’T WORK! THAT IS CHEF VIZ, SCOTT, AND DON’T YOU FORGET IT! HE’S A DIFFERENT TYPE OF COMPETITOR!
Eve: You really need to calm down on your screaming or you are not going to have a voice… actually keep screaming. Scream bloody murder until we can’t hear you anymore. Please.
Deadprez: Calm down, Eve. Anyways, Viz has that look in his eyes and he is ready to take care of business. Viz hits the ropes and COMES BACK WITH A CLOTHESLINE THAT ROCKS SCOTT, BUT IT DOESN’T TAKE HIM OFF HIS FEET!
Eve: Two very powerful competitors here in the ring right now as Scott bounces off the ropes AND SCOTT HITS A CLOTHESLINE ON VIZ AND HE IS MET WITH THE SAME RESULT!
Gavin Kirkland: Scott needs to stop trying to take Viz down. Chef Viz is not like anybody else AND SCOTT RUNS IN WITH A RUNNING KNEE RIGHT TO VIZ’S JAW AND THAT DEFINITELY ROCKED HIM! OH NO!
Eve: As Gavin has a breakdown, that knee sends Viz back towards the ropes. He rebounds off the ropes and SCOTT HAS HOLD OF HIM! SCOTT IS LOOKING FOR A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX–
Deadprez: BUT VIZ IS BLOCKING IT! Viz is doing everything he can to break free from Scott’s grasp… AND HE DOES! VIZ GETS FREE AND HE COUNTERS WITH A KNEE STRIKE OF HIS OWN!
Gavin Kirkland: THAT’S WHAT I WANT TO SEE! That shot rocked Scott Diamond and now it’s Viz with the waistlock AND HE LIFTS UP SCOTT DIAMOND AND JUST DRIVES HIM DOWN TO THE MAT WITH A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!
Deadprez: What power shown by Chef Viz and Scott Diamond is down on the mat. Viz brings Scott back to his feet and takes him back down with the snapmare takeover before hitting the ropes–
Gavin Kirkland: WHAT THE HELL? DARYL KINKADE WITH A KICK TO THE BACK AND THAT STOPS VIZ IN HIS TRACKS! COME ON, REF! DISQUALIFY THIS TEAM FOR WHAT HE DID TO CHEF IN THE MIDDLE OF COOKING!
Eve: Viz turns around and he grabs hold of Daryl to clock him in the head, BUT SCOTT DIAMOND FROM BEHIND WITH A CLOTHESLINE TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD KNOCKING VIZ DOWN!
Deadprez: Viz falls to a knee and Scott is just pounding on Chef Viz and taking the Chef down to the mat. Scott decides to bring Viz back to his feet and whips him to the ropes–

Eve: Solomon Stane tags himself back in, which doesn’t make Scott too happy. Viz rebounds off the ropes AND SOLOMON GRABS HIM AND TAKES HIM DOWN FOR THE SNAP POWERSLAM! VIZ SENT DOWN HARD AS SOLOMON GOES FOR THE COVER!

Gavin Kirkland: AND CHEF VIZ KICKS OUT! WOOOOO! Like anything else was expected. Viz is too strong and a true Chef doesn’t quit in the middle of preparing a main course of this caliber.
Eve: What? Did you watch the damn Food Network or something to prepare for this match so you can continue to fanboy for Viz? Whatever. Solomon is in control for his team and he brings Viz back to his feet and whips him to the corner.
Deadprez: Viz lands hard in the corner AND SOLOMON FOLLOWS UP WITH A BOOT RIGHT TO VIZ’S FACE! THE HEEL OF HIS BOOT WENT RIGHT INTO VIZ’S JAW! Viz felt that one as Solomon grabs hold of Viz–
Gavin Kirkland: He has hold of Viz by the neck AND HE JUST LAUNCHED VIZ FROM THE CORNER WITH THAT BIEL THROW THAT SENDS VIZ ACROSS THE RING AND VIZ LANDS HARD ON HIS BACK! NOOOOOOOO!
Deadprez: Solomon brings Viz back to his feet AND HE JUST CLAPPED VIZ’S EARS WITH THAT BELL CLAP! VIZ WILL BE HEARING A RINGING SOUND FOR A WHILE NOW!
Gavin Kirkland: HOW DISRESPECTFUL CAN HE BE TO VIZ! Viz is still on his feet as Solomon shows some major power getting Viz on his shoulder AND RUNS FORWARD FOR A RUNNING POWERSLAM! STOP THAT, YOU BRUTE!
Eve: Viz planted hard with that powerslam and Solomon brings Viz back to his feet and puts Viz in position for a powerbomb. SOLOMON TRIES TO LIFT UP VIZ FOR A POWERBOMB–

Deadprez: Viz is in the air for the powerbomb, BUT PJ HENDRX TAGGED HIMSELF BACK INTO THE MATCH AND HE CLIMBS BACK UP TO THE TOP ROPE! PJ is looking to fly once more–
Eve: PJ HENDRX WITH A SENTON ONTO VIZ WHICH SENDS SOLOMON FALLING BACKWARDS WITH BOTH VIZ AND PJ LANDING ON TOP OF SOLOMON! THAT’S OVER 450 POUNDS CRASHING ON SOLOMON’S CHEST!
Gavin Kirkland: That’s exactly what Solomon deserves for being such an ass to Chef Viz. When Viz recovers, Solomon will regret everything he did to Viz. Now Viz’s partner is taking care of business right now.
Eve: Viz has rolled off of Solomon as PJ is mounted on Solomon AND PJ IS THROWING LEFTS AND RIGHTS INTO SOLOMON’S FACE TO WHICH SOLOMON IS BLOCKING THE SHOTS AS MUCH AS HE CAN!
Deadprez: Solomon still has a power advantage over PJ and he just SHOVES PJ right off of him to get back to his feet. PJ landed on his feet and hit the ropes to gain some momentum. PJ comes back–
Gavin Kirkland: AND HE RAN STRAIGHT INTO A RIGHT HOOK FROM SOLOMON STANE AND THAT MIGHT HAVE KNOCKED PJ HENDRX OUT COLD! GET UP! I DON’T WANNA SEE VIZ LOSE!
Deadprez: You really need to calm down, Gavin. Instead of going for a cover, he grabs PJ and drags him to his corner and he reaches out for a tag—

Gavin Kirkland: It’s shocking to see a willing tag in this match from either side, but we finally saw one as Daryl Kinkade tags back into the match. Solomon just tosses PJ to Daryl AND DARYL WITH A STEP UP ENZUIGIRI!
Eve: THAT CAUGHT PJ IN THE SIDE OF THE HEAD AND HE FALLS TO THE MAT! Daryl pulls PJ to the center of the ring AND HITS A STANDING SHOOTING STAR PRESS RIGHT ON THE MONEY AND DARYL GOES FOR THE COVER!

Deadprez: PJ KICKS OUT AT TWO! Even with all the combustible elements, this has been an amazing match between these six competitors. They are holding their tempers now, but imagine when they are allowed to let loose.
Eve: That’s when the fireworks will go off. PJ is trying to muster up some energy to crawl to his corner because he REALLY needs to make a tag in this match. Daryl hits the ropes–
Gavin Kirkland: AND DARYL WITH A SHINING WIZARD CATCHES PJ IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD AND PJ GOES DOWN AGAIN! PJ is in a huge mess of trouble right now.
Eve: Daryl grabs hold of PJ and grabs hold of his head. Daryl does a little showboating to the crowd BEFORE HE DOES THE FRONT FLIP FOR THE FRONT FLIP DDT–
Deadprez: DARYL WENT FOR THE MONKĒ FLIP DDT, BUT PJ BLOCKED IT! HE DID SOME SORT OF HANDSTAND TO PREVENT BEING PLANTED AND BY THE GRACE OF GAWD PJ MIGHT HAVE SAVED HIMSELF IN THIS MATCH!
Gavin Kirkland: That was some very creative moves by PJ Hendrx AND THIS MIGHT BE HIS GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY HERE! PJ IS MAKING A DASH TOWARDS HIS CORNER SO HE CAN TAG OUT–
Deadprez: BUT DARYL GRABS HIS LEG! DARYL IS TRYING TO PULL PJ BACK TOWARDS THE CENTER OF THE RING, BUT PJ IS HOPPING ON ONE FOOT TO TRY AND MAKE THAT FINAL LEAP–
Gavin Kirkland: PJ WITH AN ENZUIGIRI OF HIS OWN THAT CATCHES DARYL IN THE TEMPLE!
Eve: Daryl lets PJ go and now this might be the best chance for PJ to finally get the tag that he has been looking for for the last few minutes.
Deadprez: PJ fell to the mat after Daryl dropped him and he is crawling with all of his might towards his corner. He is about a foot away from making a tag. HE MAKES ONE FINAL LEAP TO THE CORNER–

Eve: HE GOT THE TAG! PJ TAGS IN ADAM LUCAS AND ADAM ENTERS THE RING LIKE A HOUSE OF FIRE!
Gavin Kirkland: Daryl gets back to his feet and goes for a clothesline, BUT ADAM DUCKS IT! ADAM HITS THE ROPES BEFORE COMING BACK AND TAKING DARYL DOWN WITH A LARIAT!
Eve: Daryl gets back to his feet and Adam grabs him and whips him to the ropes. Daryl rebounds AND HE DUCKS THE CLOTHESLINE ATTEMPT!
Deadprez: Daryl hits the ropes on the other side before coming back AND ADAM GRABS HIM BEFORE LIFTING HIM UP IN THE AIR AND DRIVING HIM DOWN TO THE MAT WITH A SPINEBUSTER!
Gavin Kirkland: That’s why Chef Viz is such a good team captain. His greatness has rubbed off on Adam and PJ. Chef Viz is going to be the next Answers World Champion.
Deadprez: It could happen but right now Adam Lucas is really taking it to Daryl Kinkade right now. Adam brings Daryl back up AND ADAM WITH THE STANDING DROPKICK THAT SENDS DARYL BACK TO THE CORNER!
Gavin Kirkland: Here comes Adam running towards the corner, BUT HERE COMES DARYL RUNNING OUT OF THE CORNER AND HE JUST CLOBBERS ADAM LUCAS WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT THAT SENDS HIM STAGGERING TO THE ROPES!
Eve: Daryl Kinkade pulls Adam off the ropes and kicks him in the gut before hitting the ropes himself–
Deadprez: DARYL COMES OFF THE ROPES AND FINDS HIMSELF GETTING CAUGHT BY ADAM WITH THE HIP TOSS, BUT ADAM GRABS DARYL’S LEGS AND GETS HIM INTO POSITION–
Gavin Kirkland: INTO THE CRADLE PILEDRIVER! “HONOR BOMB” BY THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION AS DARYL WAS SPIKED ON HIS HEAD AND HE COULD BE OUT COLD! ADAM DROPS DOWN AND HOOKS THE LEG! WOOO! VIZ IS GOING TO WIN!

Eve: SOLOMON STANE BREAKS UP THE COVER, BUT HERE COMES PJ HENDRX WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT THAT TAKES SOLOMON DOWN! NOW HERE COMES SCOTT DIAMOND TO GET HIMSELF INTO THE FRAY!
Deadprez: NOW HERE COMES CHEF VIZ! YOU KNOW THAT HE ISN’T GOING TO BE LEFT OUT OF THIS FIGHT! HE GOES RIGHT BACK TO SCOTT DIAMOND AND THINGS HAVE COMPLETELY BROKEN DOWN!
Eve: WE KNEW THAT THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN! NOT A MATTER OF IT, BUT WHEN! THE SIX COMBATANTS HAVE BROKEN INTO PAIRS WITH PJ AND SOLOMON, ADAM AND DARYL, AND VIZ AND SCOTT! SCOTT TRIED FOR A ROLLING ELBOW, BUT VIZ DUCKS OUT OF THE WAY AS VIZ SHOVES HIM TOWARDS THE ROPES–
Gavin Kirkland: CHEF VIZ WITH A SPEAR ON SCOTT DIAMOND AND THEY BOTH GO THROUGH THE ROPES AND GO CRASHING TO THE MAT BELOW AND THEY ARE STILL BEATING THE CRAP OUT OF EACH OTHER!
Eve: THE REFEREE IS STRUGGLING BADLY TO GET THINGS BACK TO A ONE ON ONE SITUATION IN THE RING AND THEY FINALLY DO AS PJ AND SOLOMON ROLL OUT OF THE RING!
Deadprez: THE REFEREE IS TRYING TO BREAK UP ADAM AND DARYL SO THE MATCH CAN CONTINUE, BUT THOSE REQUESTS ARE FALLING ON DEAF EARS!
Gavin Kirkland: WE HAVE BRAWLS GOING ON IN AND OUTSIDE THE RING! I LOVE IT! LET THEM ALL FIGHT! WOOOOOOOOO!! WE ARE SHOWDOWN!! GO US!!
Deadprez: THAT POOR REFEREE IS HAVING A HELL OF A TIME TRYING TO BREAK UP ALL THIS FIGHTING! ADAM AND DARYL ARE IN THE RING JUST BEATING THE CRAP OUT OF EACH OTHER!
(The referee is trying to separate Adam and Daryl, BUT THEY SHOVE THE REFEREE DOWN TO THE MAT… which didn’t make the referee too happy. The referee gets back to his feet and yells towards the timekeeper.)
Referee: THAT’S IT! RING THE BELL! RING THE BELL NOW!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(The referee has called for the bell and the crowd is booing loudly that the referee has ended the match. The six competitors are still beating the crap out of each other as the referee takes a quick second to inform Gina Romano of the final decision of the match.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has informed me that they have thrown out this match. Therefore, this match has been declared a DRAW!
(The crowd boos even louder at Gina’s announcement as the referee is doing whatever they can to try and break up at least one of the fights, but is having very little luck.)
Deadprez: To what should come as a surprise to absolutely nobody, these six competitors in the Extreme Elimination Chamber have broken down to the point where the referee could not keep them contained and we now have a six way brawl.
Gavin Kirkland: WOOOOOOOOOO! THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THE ENTIRE MATCH!! WE HAVE A FIGHT!
(The referee goes back to the brawls and puts as much effort as they can into getting these six apart.)
Eve: Is this a precursor to what Road to Redemption is going to be? If so, then this chamber might be one of the most violent in EAW history.
Gavin Kirkland: OH GAWD I HOPE SO!! LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM MASSACRE EACH OTHER! LET VIZ COOK! All I know is that Road to Redemption will be the swan song of Adam Lucas’ title reign.
(We now see that security and more referees have come out to help break up these six men from their respective fights to which the crowd boos even more.)
Crowd: LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!
Gavin Kirkland: WHY DO SECURITY AND REFEREES ALWAYS HAVE TO COME OUT WHEN THE FUN STUFF HAPPENS? THIS SUCKS! THEY ALWAYS RUIN ALL THE FUN!
Eve: Yeah, let’s just let them beat the hell out of each other to the point where we don’t have a Showdown main event. That would sit really well with Kennedy Street. You can explain that to her.
Gavin Kirkland: You are just as much of a buzzkill as the security team is.
Deadprez: NOT NOW! Right now we have security trying to pull Solomon Stane of PJ Hendrx. More between Viz and Scott Diamond and even more breaking apart Adam and Daryl. They all just wanna kill each other.
Eve: Prezzy, all I know is that if they want at each other this badly, imagine how brutal the Extreme Elimination Chamber is going to be in a few weeks.
