(EAW intro plays)
(Showdown opens up with a recap of Pain for Pride from Showdown’s side. Charlie Marr defeats Ronan Malosi. Harper Lee defeats Cody Maverick to become the new National Elite Champion. And finally, Veena Adams defeats Milli Banks, TLA and Donovan Duke to become the new Answers World Champion in the main event of Pain for Pride.)
(The recap ends, and it is replaced with the song “Brick Wall” by a Day to Remember, as the camera pans around the inside of the ExtraMile Arena in Boise, Idaho. Fireworks are shooting out of the stage and the whole crowd can be seen cheering and being excited for the show. The camera ends up panning over to the commentary table with Deadprez, Eve and Gavin Kirkland as the commentators start talking.)
Eve: WELCOME EVERYONE… TO SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN! AND WELCOME ALL TO SEASON 19!!!
Deadprez: WE ARE NOW HEADING INTO ANOTHER NEW SEASON OF ELITE ANSWERS WRESTLING, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! All of the rosters have been shaken up, all of the wrestlers are ready to make their mark on this new season and tonight, we have many exciting matches for you to look forward to!
Eve: We will see many new people coming into the brand as well as many wrestlers from last season face off! As Auburn Ware faces off against Bridget Bridget, Clayton Golde fights Matthew Kazama and Daryl Kinkade goes against Brianna Hill!
Deadprez: We will also see Solomon Stane fight against Vincent Mondrian and in the main event, big time match! As Donovan Duke, Joso and Bea Valentine face off in a triple threat!
Gavin Kirkland: Enough chit-chatting! LET’S START OFF THE SHOW WITH MY GOAT, VEENA ADAAAAAAMSSSSSSSSS!!!
(“Her” by Megan Thee Stallion plays throughout the arena as Kennedy Street is already in the ring along with Alana Starr the Assistant General Manager. Kennedy, the General Manager of Showdown looks around at the sold out arena with a smirk on her face. As the music dies down, Kennedy addresses the crowd.)
Kennedy Street: SHOWDOWN! FANS OF THE EAW! WELCOME TO SEASON 19 OF THE BLUE BRAND!
(The crowd cheers loudly as Kennedy continues to smile.)
Kennedy Street: After a tremendous and banner year for us in Season 18th where there were many first including winning Territorial Invasion and having some of the most classic moments including Road to Redemption and Pain For Pride. Before I continue, there were many stars that moved on to Dynasty and Voltage. Kennie wants to commend them for the contributions last season and wish them all good luck. We are sure to keep the door open on the Blue brand for all of them and would welcome any talent for seasons to come.
(The crowd cheers, as Kennedy nods. Alana claps as well.)
Kennedy Street: But one thing we all saw was at Pain for Pride the crowning of a NEW Answers World Champion and against all odds may I add. Some may say that Kennie did have a say in the match itself, but simply put the fans deserved a fair and square match. So, please allow Kennie to introduce at this time, the Answers World Champion…. VEENA ADAMS!!!
(“7 Rings” by Arianna Grande starts to play throughout the arena as Veena Adams walks out looking beautiful as ever, and though she is still a little worse for wear after the battle she had at Pain For Pride against TLA, Donovan Duke, and Milli Banks.)
Deadprez: Here comes the brand new Answers World Champion! She went through hell at Pain For Pride against three of the best and in the end she was able to pull it off and win the title! Once she trapped Milli Banks in, that was all she wrote and while Milli is on the shelf right now, she has been drafted to Dynasty.
Eve: TLA is also gone, he is now on Voltage, but one man that is not and still here, Donovan Duke. The crown jewel of Silas World wants his opportunity to get that title back. But right now, this is Veena’s time!
Gavin Kirkland: And she looks so good with the title around her waist! Wha a way to start out the new Season!
(Veena makes it to the ring, she gets in and holds the title up in the air as the fans cheer loudly. She poses for a minute as her theme dies down.)
Veena Adams: When I came into the EAW back in June of 2019, I really thought that I had all the answers to the questions that I never wanted to answer. I thought for sure that I would come into the EAW and simply dominate as the niece to Methuselah, the Chairman of the EAW and Board of Directors. I thought it would give me a leg up, but it didn’t. Instead, I struggled to find my footing, and decided to take whatever shortcut I could to make up for it. I would try to gain power and weasel my way to whatever advantage I could.
(Veena pauses for a second, then looks over at Kennedy Street.)
Veena Adams: And then I came to Showdown in 2021 and yeah, I still struggled, had to find my way slowly climbing to the top and much as I hate to admit it, this woman gave me that opportunity.
(Veena points at Kennedy Street who just smirks.)
Veena Adams: When no one else would. All I needed was a platform so I can look pretty, and I can wrestle the best I know that I can. Once the platform was there, each season I should just know exactly how good I was. I wasn’t just some hot wrestler, I mean I am, but I was so much more. And so, I started to prove that, with a National Elite Championship win twice, and yet people still didn’t believe it, imagine that! And so had to continue and prove myself, by leading the Showdown Team to win War Games!
(The crowd cheers loudly.)
Veena Adams: That was my proving ground, and though I suffered an injury and lost the championship, that didn’t deter me from moving forward and knowing that at Pain For Pride, I was going to main event it! Now, before I continue, let me just say a few things to my opponents. TLA is a legend, and he showed why. A multi-time winner of this title and now he is off to Voltage. Then there is Donovan Duke, who has had Silas World behind him since winning the title and holding Showdown hostage. I took this title from Uggo World and I’m sure they are going to come back for it. But then there is Milli Banks.
(As she pauses for a moment, the crowd cheers at the sound of Milli Banks name.)
Veena Adams: This is bittersweet. Milli Banks is my bestie, she is a woman that I love and trust, someone that has picked me up since day one when we met and created an inseparable bond. She has supported me, and I have her. I was hoping that she would have been drafted by Showdown, so that we could be finally Kewt & Kunty, but that is going to have to wait. There was nothing more than I wanted to defend this title against her, because I know how much it means to her. One day we are going to run it back. I have already talked to her since then and she is in good spirits, will be out for a while but that is expected. But right now, this is about Season 19.
(The fans cheer loudly as Veena looks right into the camera holding the Answers World Championship.)
Veena Adams: Listen to me very closely. I saw the names that were drafted here. Bea Valentine, Joso, Impact, Ms. Extreme, Jake Smith, Xander Payne, and of course those that were brought back like Silas World, The British Invasion and the other talent trying to make a name for themselves. It doesn’t matter, because this is MY Showdown now…. And I’m the perfect face of it!
(As “7 Rings” starts to play, Veena holds up the Answers World Championship while the fans cheer. They give her a standing ovation as Veena knows the challenges are coming.)
Deadprez: There she is, and the challengers are going to be lining up for her, we are seeing three of them tonight in the Main event. This season is going to be fun!
Eve: It sure is and with some big names, and a lot of them seem to be nervous pertaining to their promos this week, well this is Showdown and WE WRESTLE!
Gavin Kirkland: I cannot wait! Veena looks so beautiful in gold!
(Veena continues to pose while Kennedy and Alana look on, the scene fades to a commercial break.)
(Showdown comes back from commercials, as the camera turns towards the stage and “Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar plays on the speakers, loud cheers can be heard all across the arena as Auburn Ware walks forward with a confident smile on her face, raising her hand up and then waving hello to the fans as she looked prime and ready for her match!)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST, FROM BULAWAYO, ZIMBABWE, WEIGHING IN AT 119 POUNDS, SHE IS “THE PRODIGY”, AUBUUUURNNNN WAREEEEEEEEEE!!!
Eve: It was a tough loss for Auburn Ware last week, attempting to capture the Specialists Championship for herself after such a season of dealing with many people trying to stop her from succeeding, but it seems she is going to get back up and continue forward either way!
Deadprez: That is a good mindset to have here in EAW, you can’t deny the fact that she has kept going despite the setbacks and if she keeps pushing she might just find her way to the top! We will have to see how she fares today.
(Auburn arrives towards the ring, entering inside and then taking her corner as after, “Bad Bitch” by Bebe Rexha plays on the speakers, loud boos coming from all sides of the arena as Bridget slowly walks backwards, yes, backwards due to her talking towards the camera that she has in her hands and showing it around to capture the whole arena, as she was clearly right now in a livestream.)
Gina Romano: AND HER OPPONENT, FROM LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, WEIGHING IN AT 114 POUNDS, SHE IS “THAT BITCH”, BRIDGET BRIDGEEETTTT!
Deadprez: Eve, am I getting too old?
Eve: Oh, come on, you will live. It is just normal now in this day and age, technology keeps advancing every step of the way!
Deadprez: Man, she ain’t even paying attention to the damn ring!
Gavin Kirkland: Look Deadprez, there is no need to insult the future of the industry, once she goes inside of that ring, you will see her- why is she coming here?
Bridget Bridget: (off-mic) Hey can you hold my phone while I wrestle? K, thanks!
(Gavin is taken off guard as Bridget just hands him the phone but due to him being a coward, he doesn’t say no back and just goes with it. Bridget turns and enters the ring too, taking her corner.)
(And as the two wrestlers ready themselves…)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Deadprez: AND WE ARE OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY- Gavin, don’t tell me you are actually going to end up filming while commentating.
Gavin Kirkland: Oh come on Deadprez, you do not say no to a pretty lady that ended up asking you to ‘hold up’ the streaming for her! You have to be a gentleman every now and then!
Eve: She just shoved the phone right up on your face without even getting your answer.
Gavin Kirkland: You have to be kind too, Eve! When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade with them! Look, I am live right now! Hey chat!
Eve: Well, while Gavin is doing all of that, we turn towards the ring-
Gavin Kirkland: Aaaand I just got told to kill myself, alright, let me just prop the phone up here in the table so everyone can see.
Eve: …we turn towards the ring as Auburn is pumped up and ready to go, wanting to lock up with Bridget here but Bridget is kind of taking her time trying to fix her hair, for some reason since it’s going to end up getting messed up either way if she is going to wrestle but oh well!
Deadprez: Bridget finally fixes herself up, starting to approach Auburn and getting ready to lock up here-
Gavin Kirkland: Before the ever-beautiful of Bridget Bridget ends up turning and then rolling out of there! She is actually walking over to the phone that is streaming, pointing and laughing at Auburn. What a genius!
Eve: Is that her way of a… prank? Not starting the match yet?
Deadprez: Hey man, I might be getting too old for this but at least she is getting back to the ring. Auburn does look more annoyed than she did a few seconds ago but she is not deterred at all, she raises up her arms and Bridget finally moves and locks up with Auburn! The two of them have the same height but Auburn has the experience here compared with Bridget, Auburn is able to push Bridget back and that forces Bridget to play aggresive now, trying to push Auburn back with all of her forces!
Eve: And then at the last second while still holding onto her arms, Auburn is able to turn the two of them to the side- And she pushes Bridget towards the ropes instead! A beautiful movement to bring Bridget closer towards her and then at the last second turn with her against the ropes.
Deadprez: And Auburn is trying to get a hold in here while against the ropes but Bridget is holding onto them and that forces the referee to step in and then try to break the two of them apart. Auburn calmly obliges and she lets go of Bridget… before she ends up giving a small bow, almost mocking her in response! There we go, if Bridget wants to play games Auburn can play them too!
Gavin Kirkland: Bridget sends a slap directly towards Auburn just as her head raises up!
Eve: And Auburn is able to avoid it at the last second! As she grabs onto Bridget’s arm- AND THEN PULLS HER DOWN WITH AN ARM DRAG TO THE GROUND! And now Auburn wraps her arm around it too, trying to put Bridget in an armlock here, all while Bridget is starting to move in a very panicked manner!
Gavin Kirkland: Come on, Bridget Bridget! Don’t let your loyal fans down, I see a lot of them here giving you support- nope, they are just spamming the chat, but I am sure that is their way of supporting you!
Deadprez: And Bridget, surprisingly, is able to touch the ropes and get a rope break here! The referee moves over to try and get Auburn to leave the submission, and Auburn ends up obliging here, letting go of Bridget’s arm and then rolling away in response! Auburn trying to stretch out here and then move her neck around here-
Eve: WOW! BRIDGET SUDDENLY GOT UP TO HER FEET LIKE NOTHING AND THEN PUSHED AUBURN HARD AGAINST THE ROPES! Auburn falls against the second rope, Bridget moving here and then beginning to stomp her upper back various times! What the heck was that?!
Gavin Kirkland: That is being smart, baby! See chat?! She does have plans inside of that head of hers! And now she is capitalizing on the situation by weaking Auburn further! That’s my future World Champion!
Deadprez: Alright bro.
Eve: Hey, everyone can achieve anything if they believe in themselves hard enough, and Bridget definitely believes in herself here! She claps along and tries to get some of the crowd here on her side, as she turns and then runs towards the ropes- BEFORE DELIVERING A BIG BOOT RIGHT TO THE SIDE OF AUBURN’S HEAD! She actually got all of that one, I’ll give her that!
Deadprez: Auburn spills out onto the ring apron and Bridget actually follows through! She is slowly grabbing onto Auburn and lifting her up to her feet, as Bridget turns her head and looks down… is she actually going to do that?!
Eve: I think she does! Because Bridget is grabbing tightly onto Auburn’s head… AND SHE ACTUALLY GOES FOR A DDT RIGHT ONTO THE RING APROOOOOOOONNNNNN…. Oh.
Deadprez: She just ends up shaking her head and then she ends up going back inside of that ring, huh.
Gavin Kirkland: Do you know how dangerous it can be to do a DDT in the ring apron and from THAT position?! She could have broken her spine if it went horribly wrong, come on guys!
Eve: There have been many great wrestlers that have said they would do anything to win and we have ended up here at this point, oh boy…
Deadprez: There was clearly enough space for her to do the DDT without falling off but hey, at least she is actually going to do it! BECAUSE BRIDGET ENDS UP HITTING AUBURN DOWN WITH AN APRON HUNG DDT!
Gavin Kirkland: THERE WE GO! That is what we like to see, chat! Referee going for the cover!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TWO-
Eve: And it doesn’t even reach a two count, and Bridget is already puffing up her cheeks in annoyance. This is going to be a long night, isn’t it?
Deadprez: Well, at least she is not wasting time! She is already grabbing Auburn by her hair and she is pulling her towards the corner, Bridget puts her right on the bottom and she shouts at the whole crowd to… sigh, “Subscribe to her Twitch Channel”.
Gavin Kirkland: Great advertising, I like it!
Eve: The crowd ended up responding with loud boos once she ended up saying that message! But at least she is not deterred! She points towards the corner and then she runs forward- GOING FOR A CANNONBALL SENTON RIGHT ONTO AUBURN!
Deadprez: DENIED! Auburn is able to avoid at the last second and let Bridget crash against the bottom of the corner! Auburn gets the crowd hyped up, as she runs towards the corner herself, gathering up momentum here before running back- AS SHE JUMPS AND SHE HITS A SUDDEN DROPKICK RIGHT TO THE GUT OF BRIDGET! Bridget is grabbing tightly onto her stomach and trying to roll away from the ring! She falls through over-
Eve: AUBURN GRABS ONTO HER HAIR RIGHT BEFORE SHE CAN LEAVE! Bridget is screaming uh- very loudly in pain as Auburn is not letting her escape! Auburn can’t let Bridget rest up and then run away for the whole match!
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t even think the referee can step in since they are not against the ropes! Auburn is slowly able to pull herself across the mat with the help of Bridget’s hair, before grabbing her by her head- AND THEN THROWING HER SHOULDER FIRST AGAINST THE BARRICADE! Dang, okay, let me not mess with such a woman like that!
Deadprez: Auburn turning up the intensity here against Bridget! She grabs onto her head and then throws her back inside of the ring, Auburn following through and making every second count here! She points forward- BEFORE GOING FOR A MOONSAULT SENTON RIGHT ONTO BRIDGET! Auburn rolling through and then moving to pick Bridget up, she is not done yet!
Eve: Auburn holds onto Bridget’s wrist and then backs away- BEFORE SPINNING AROUND AND THEN GOING FOR A HEEL KICK DIRECTLY TO HER FACE!
Gavin Kirkland: YES! SHE GOES DEEP INTO HER WRESTLING INSTINCTS AND SHE ENDS UP DUCKING DOWN! Auburn misses wildly and Bridget grabs tightly onto her waist, pulling her back- AND THEN HITTING HER DOWN WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! I knew she had a bag there somewhere! But she is not covering it yet either, she wants to deliver the smackdown hard onto Auburn and prevent her from staying down for that three!
Eve: Bridget is getting Auburn up and slowly turning her over, as Bridget holds onto her waist once more- AND SHE TRIES TO GO FOR A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX THIS TIME!
Deadprez: DENIED YET AGAIN! As Auburn ends up reversing it and she ends up pulling Bridget into a package pin here!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOO!!
Eve: Bridget ends up kicking out right before the count of three, as the two of them scurry up to their feet!
Deadprez: AND AUBURN ENDS UP HITTING DOWN BRIDGET DOWN WITH AN EUROPEAN UPPERCUT RIGHT ACROSS HER JAW! AUBURN FALLS DOWN AS WELL!
Eve: She must be feeling the aftereffects of the German Suplex! She can’t capitalize right now!
(As the two women lay down on the mat trying to push through the pain, the cameras suddenly turn away in a confused manner and towards the ramp as out of nowhere, none other than Clayton Golde comes out to watch.)
Eve: …Huh?! What the heck is Clayton Golde doing out here of all people?
Deadprez: I could ask the same thing, Eve!
(Clayton has a gigantic grin on his face and he tries to calm down the negative reception of the crowd, they mostly respond due to the chair that he has in his hands but he just uses it to put it down at the end of the ramp and sit down on it, crossing his legs and then casually drinking a can of “Liquid Golde” that he has in his other hand.)
Gavin Kirkland: Wow, okay! Let me cover the camera partially, I don’t think he was authorized for any product placement!
Eve: A very weird instance of Clayton coming out and showing interest in other people that aren’t himself, truly in shock, but genuinely, why is he out here?
Deadprez: I am not the man with the answers, but I am indeed a man that can commentate at least! The two of them are starting to get up now and backing away towards the ropes, to grab onto something that can hold them up to their feet!
Eve: And Bridget is the first one to walk forward and then get towards Auburn- AS SHE ENDS UP HITTING HER WITH A SLAP RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE! Bridget getting annoyed now with Auburn and finally hitting her with that slap! All while Auburn is pushing through it, she took it like a champ!
Deadprez: Ohoho! It’s about to get good now! Auburn takes one step forward while Bridget backs away, not expecting Auburn to stand up for herself after that one- AND NOW AUBURN STARTS LIGHTING HER UP WITH FOREARM STRIKES RIGHT TOWARDS HER CHEST!
Gavin Kirkland: BRIDGET, YOU HAVE TO DODGE THEM SOMEHOW! Okay, she is not dodging them at all, she is just forced to take them on!
Eve: And with every strike that Auburn throws at her, she pushes her further and further towards the ropes, before finally, Auburn kicks her towards them and she runs back, gaining some momentum and then bursting through with speed! She tries to go for a clothesline here to send her over the ring once more!
Deadprez: Bridget is able to actually beat Auburn to the punch and then trip her up here against the ropes! Auburn falls onto the second rope and Bridget starts running forward towards the ropes too, bouncing off them- AND THEN HITTING AUBURN RIGHT ON THE BACK WITH A KNEE STRIKE! Bridget catching Auburn once she least expected it once more and then capitalizing off that!
Eve: Bridget once more grabs onto Auburn’s waist and then she pulls her up to her feet, yet again trying to go here for that German Suplex, AS SHE GETS IT-
Gavin Kirkland: BUT AUBURN IS ABLE TO FLIP OVER ONCE SHE THROWS HER OVER AND LANDS ON HER FEET! Bridget is absolutely confused at how Auburn was able to pull that off, as Auburn runs yet again- JUMPING ONTO THE ROPES JUST AS BRIDGET GETS UP1
Eve: “MAD HONEY!” The Springboard Bulldog is able to connect and Bridget is brought down onto the middle of the ring with it! Auburn moves over and then she ends up pinning her, trying to win the match!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Deadprez: But it is still somehow not enough! Bridget is able to find it deep within herself to kick out all while leaving Auburn scrambling here! Auburn though has already risen up and is standing right behind Bridget, oh oh! This ain’t gonna be good if Bridget gets up!
Gavin Kirkland: BRIDGET BRIDGET, PLEASE, I WANT YOU TO ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS, DON’T LET THIS BE THE END!
Eve: She can’t what you from all the way over here, Gavin! And just as she gets up, AUBURN GETS RIGHT BEHIND HER AND TRIES TO LOCK IN THAT KA-
Gavin Kirkland: YES, MY PLEAS WERE ANSWERED TO! BRIDGET GRABS ONTO AUBURN’S LEGS AND THEN TRIPS HER OVER ONCE MORE! Bridget grabs onto them, turning over and then she jumps right into another pin right on top of Auburn! SHE WILL GET IT!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Deadprez: AUBURN IS ABLE TO KICK OUT YET AGAIN AS BRIDGET NEARLY IS ABLE TO GET THE VICTORY OVER HER! Bridget is the one in the offense now to try and not get Auburn get one of her moves in! She runs off the ropes and then runs back- TRYING TO JUMP ONTO AUBURN’S SHOULDERS AND GO FOR A HURRICANRANA!!!
Gavin Kirkland: AND SHE IS ABLE TO GET ALL OF THAT HURRICANRANA!!! LET’S GOOOO, SHE IS GOING TO DO IT, COME ON BRIDGET!
Eve: Auburn gets sent to the corner yet again and Bridget rushes over, preparing herself and not willing to let this opportunity escape her!
Gavin Kirkland: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, SHE IS OFFICIALLY TUNING UP THE BAND! AND AS AUBURN RISES, BRIDGET RUNS! THE “BRIDGE-KIIIIICKKKKK!!”
Deadprez: AUBURN CATCHES BRIDGET’S FOOT RIGHT BEFORE SHE CAN HIT HER WITH THAT SUPERKICK! Auburn once more finds an answer to Bridget as she throws her leg to the side and then forces her to spin around-
Eve: RIGHT INTO A SNAP FISHERMAN BUSTEEEEEEEEEERRRRR! BRIDGET ALMOST LANDING ON TOP OF HER HEAD!
Gavin Kirkland: BRIDGET SNAPS INTO A SEATED POSITION FROM THE FORCE, NO WAY-
Deadprez: RIGHT INTO THE KATA HA JIMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Eve: AUBURN LOCKS HER ARM RIGHT AROUND BRIDGET’S NECK WITH THE LOVELY BONES!!! RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!
Deadprez: AND IT DOESN’T TAKE LONG BEFORE BRIDGET GIVES IN AND SHE STARTS TAPPING!!! THE MATCH IS OVAH!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(“Bad Blood” plays on the speakers once Bridget taps repeatedly, before Auburn lets go of her and she sits up, letting out a confident smile as she pushes herself up and lets the referee raise her hand up!)
Gina Romano: HERE IS YOUR WINNER, AUBUUUURNNNN WAREEEEEE!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Aaaaaaannd the stream is off now.
Eve: What a performance from Auburn, and a great comeback to start the season off with!
Deadprez: A lot of shenanigans for me if you ask me, but hey, the two of them wrestled either way and they truly did fight for that win at the end… I still don’t know why that weirdo is out there.
Eve: Me neither, but hopefully we will get answers soon, congrats to Auburn on the victory either way!
(Auburn moves over, walking towards the corner and then rising up it, pointing to the sky and letting the crowd celebrate with her, all while Clayton sits outside, clapping along to Auburn’s victor all while wondering what is his plan, as Showdown fades away on that note.)

Gina Ramano: PLEASE WELCOME ACCOMPANIED BY LUNA ADELINE! DAMIEN KUTCHER AND AKARI KIYOKO…SHOWTIME!
Gavin Kirkland: Some might call them the most dysfunctional team in the history of EAW but honestly, the results speak for themselves. Despite not walking out of Pain for Pride with the 24/7 Contract they still haven’t proven recently that they are one hell of a team. Picking up wins against Bea Valentine, Micheal Machina, and Solomon Stane, when they started seeing eye to eye.
Eve: We have seen our fair share of dysfunctional but it’s almost like their dysfunction has made them…well functionally. They are looking better than ever and being on Showdown, they have a new landscape to truly make a name for themselves.
Deadprez: For Damien especially, this is more like a redemption arc as he tries to write the wrong of his time he feels like he wasted on the brand.
( They both get in the ring with Luna giving them microphones, their music begins to fade as they look around to the crowd. Damien circling the ring for a bit, before halting. )
Damien Kutcher: WELCOME TO SHOWTIME’S SHOWDOWN! Now I ain’t goin’ lie to you, the last time I was on here I ain’t leaving on the best terms. Some might say it affected my career in a way that I am still recovering from to this day. But you know what? None of that shit matters to me for one simple reason. That’s all in the past. (Clayton Golde makes his way down to the ring hitting up hot looking women while ignoring the ones he deems average looking. Eventually he seems to realize he’s out here for a match and gets in the ring.)
Eve: I hate this guy so much. OMG.
Gavin Kirkland: Probably jealous he’s not hitting on you?
Eve: Not at all.
Gavin Kirkland: Damn really? I’m jealous and he’s not even my type.
Deadprez: The only thing to be jealous of is his wrestling ability. Which I am sure is about to be on full display here shortly.

(Matthew Kazama comes down to the ring looking focused and ready for competition.)
Eve: Matthew Kazama is out here on this new season to make an impact! He just started in EAW and already has an impressive resume!
Deadprez: He is looking to capitalize on his great performance at Pain for Pride and a win over Clayton Golde could definitely be that!
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t see it happening. He’s too new. He needs to grind and earn his stripes! It’s time for Clayton Golde to show him the ropes and humble him!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Eve: We are underway now as both men pace around the ring. Clayton Golde is talking shit as he is known to do. He is saying all kinds of things but Matthew Kazama is ignoring him focusing as they look to lock up. Eventually they do lock up-
Deadprez: No! Clayton sidesteps it and slaps Matthew hard on the back of the head. Matthew looking ignored now as Clayton disrespects him.
Clayton Golde: (off-mic) Aww is that the best you’ve got? What a loser!
Eve: Golde is talking all kinds of shit to Kazama but Kazama is not backing down! He slaps Clayton across the face hard! And now Clayton defiantly goes to lock up with Kazama and actually begin this contest properly. They lock up as they fight for position. Kazama quickly transitions into a Side Headlock on Golde but Golde eventually throws him across the ring and into the ropes. Golde knocks Kazama down with a Shoulder Block. But Kazama right back up looking unphased as they go to lock up again.
Deadprez: They lock up again as Golde grabs the arm of Kazama twisting him around into an Armba-
Gavin Kirkland: No! Kazama ducked around behind Golde and pulled him down! Kazama with the surprise Rollup out of nowhere!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eve: That was a close call and Clayton Golde is visibly seething. He’s not happy that he almost lost the match like a minute or so into it. They get back up as Clayton is now trying to calm himself down. He tries to laugh it off but Kazama clearly got under his skin there. They go to lock up again with Golde a little warier this time. Golde releases and goes for a thumb to the eye!!!-
Deadprez: But Kazama grabs the arm of Golde and yanks him down into a Crippler Crossface! Kazama is going to force Golde to tap out real quick right here and right now!!!
Eve: No! Golde flips out of it and flips his legs across the ring and gets them tangled up and into the ropes. The referee forces the break.
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! LET GO RIGHT THIS INSTANT MISTER!!!
Deadprez: Matthew Kazama lets go of the hold before five to prevent a disqualification from the referee. Kazama informs the referee that he had until five but the referee appears to be fully aware of this information.
Gavin Kirkland: Believe it or not our referees know the rules. They are very well trained indeed.
Eve: Clayton Golde gets back up as he runs up on Matthew Kazama! But Kazama kicks him in the gut! Kazama pulls Clayton down into a Small Package!!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Deadprez: Another close call there! That could have been it! But Golde kicked out before three! Kazama has nearly stolen this thing twice now in the early minutes of this match!
Eve: Golde gets back up and Kazama runs up on him in the corner with a Running Knee Strike! But Golde moves out of the way. Golde runs behind Kazama and kicks him in the back. Kazama turns around and Golde with a hard right hand to the face! The force behind that haymaker just sent Kazama down to the mat. Kazama gets back up and eats another shot from Golde. Kazama is taking a beating here as Golde has some real powerful strikes. Golde with a third punch this time a big uppercut right under the jaw! Kazama goes down as Golde goes for the cover!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Referee: TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW-
Deadprez: But Kazama kicks out before two! Kazama back up as Golde punches him back down again. Kazama is in a bad way here as he can only take so much head trauma. Unfortunately this isn’t boxing so Golde can get away with a lot more in this dangerous sport we call pro wrestling!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Golde climbs on top of Kazama and begins pummeling at his head with repeated strikes to the head over and over again. Kazama eventually shoves Golde off him and gets back up. Golde goes for another big pun-
Eve: But Kazama ducks it! He grabs the arm and pulls Golde in! Right into a Small Package! Another pin! Another steal attempt! Is the third time the charm?!?!?
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Deadprez: But Golde kicks out one more time! Golde gets back up but Kazama is back up first! Kazama with a running Clothesline! No! Golde ducks under it and runs the ropes! Kazama turns around and Golde tears into Kazama with a Spear! SPEAR! SPEAR! SPEAR! He just tore that man in half and now Golde is stomping away at Kazama keeping him down. The crowd is booing loudly as Kazama slowly gets back up. Golde grabs his arm and whips him hard into the ropes. Kazama flips up the turnbuckle before falling backwards into the ring landing on the back of his neck.
Clayton Golde: (off-mic) NOW THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT!!!
Eve: Matthew Kazama back up as Clayton Golde grabs him by the arm and takes him down with a Snap Suplex! Clayton into the cover!!!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Deadprez: Only two.
Gavin Kirkland: This match continues to rage on now as Kazama slowly gets back up. But Golde is not even paying attention and instead talking shit.
Clayton Golde: (off-mic) This guy really thinks that he is special? Debuting at Pain for Pride? The fuck he think he is??? LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Eve: But Kazama gets back up and punches at Golde in the abdomen! But Golde caught it!
Clayton Golde: (off-mic) Not so fast ya bitch…
Deadprez: Clayton pulls Kazama in and hits another Snap Suplex! And he doesn’t even bother going for the pin. Clayton is walking around the ring with his arms in the air as the crowd shows their genuine hatred for this man.
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Eve: Clayton kicks the head of Kazama mockingly throwing him across the ring before picking him up and hitting a Bodyslam right in the center. He then flexes his bicep before grabbing Kazama and picking him up. Golde throws Kazama over the top rope! Kazama goes flying over the top and crashes to the outside! Clayton now wiping his hands clean and telling the referee to begin the count!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!
Clayton Golde: (off-mic) High value males only! Nobody else allowed in this ring!
Referee: FOUR! FIVE! SIX!
Clayton Golde: (off-mic) I’m just too badass. An alpha male! All you betas keep on booing! SEETHE!
Referee: SEVEN! EIGHT! N-
Deadprez: But Matthew Kazama is getting up crawling up towards the apron outside the ring!!!
Referee: NINE! TEN!
Gavin Kirkland: No! Kazama rolls under the bottom rope just in time! The crowd cheers as Golde is obviously not happy that the match continues on.
Eve: But Golde just grabs Kazama and throws him back over the top rope again anyway! He laughs mockingly before hopping down off the apron this time following his opponent to the outside. Golde has some bad intentions here as he picks Kazama up and slams him head first into the ring apron. Kazama bounces off the apron and then falls backwards into the barricade. Golde grabs him by the arm and whips him hard across ringside! Kazama goes back first into the steel ring steps and yells out in pain!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!
Deadprez: Both men at risk of being counted out here as they brawl on the outside. Golde picks up Kazama and body slams him back first on top of the dismantled ring steps which have been thrown around here at ringside! Kazama is in a bad way here as Golde puts him on top of the ring steps and then jumps on top of him with a Double Foot Stomp right to the sternum! Kazama driven hard right into those steps and that has to be painful!
Referee: FOUR! FIVE! SIX!
Eve: Golde drives Kazama head first into the steel steps as Kazama collapses on the outside clearly in pain. Golde then climbs up on top of the steps and raises his arms in celebration acting as if he has already won the match.
Clayton Golde: (off-mic) BEHOLD! THIS IS WHAT TRUE GREATNESS IS!!!
Deadprez: Clayton throws Matthew back into the ring.
Referee: SEVEN! EIGH-
Gavin Kirkland: And Clayton back up on the apron and he is going up top! Clayton waits for Kazama to slowly stagger back up to his feet before leaping!!!
Eve: FLYING CROSSBODY!!!-
Eve: No! Kazama rolled through! Kazama reverses the Crossbody and lands on top of Clayton! The cover!!

Deadprez: Only two yet again. But there have been a lot of close calls and that came out of nowhere. Kazama clearly has more fight left in him than we thought!!!
Eve: Golde quickly back up as he immediately nails Kazama with a rushing forearm to the face. He got all of it knocking him the hell out. Definitely doesn’t want to allow Kazama to get any offense in as Golde continues to control the match. Golde pulls Kazama back u-
Deadprez: But Kazama out of nowhere! DEVIL TRIGGER!!!
Eve: What the hell!?!? Where did that come from? Kazama hit that 540 Kick and Golde just collapsed! Both men are down and neither are moving! This match just might end in a draw!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!
Deadprez: Both men slowly begin moving and showing signs of life. Looks like they might be able to get up before the ten count!!!
Referee: SIX!
Gavin Kirkland: Matthew Kazama is first up to his feet! But he’s on wobbly legs!
Referee: SEVEN!
Eve: Clayton Golde is not far behind! He’s not looking so steady either! Both men back up as they collide in the ring once more!!!
Deadprez: Both men throwing punches back and forth! They are fighting intensely! Clayton seems to be winning the confrontation however as he repeatedly hammers his fist into Kazam-
Eve: Wait no! Kazama catches the fist of Clayton and lifts him up onto his shoulders! Kazama goes for a Fireman’s Carry Slam! But Clayton is kicking and thrashing and flips around behind his opponent for a Sunset Flip!!!

Deadprez: Kickout by Kazama! Both men back up and Clayton charges in with a Shoulder Block sending Kazama into the ropes. But Kazama out of the corner with a Running Lariat taking the head off Golde! Golde just went flying into the ropes and nearly fell out of the ring! Golde’s leg is trapped in the ropes! The referee is asking Kazama to back up but Kazama shoves past and begins stomping away at his trapped opponent! Kazama is taking full advantage of the predicament that his opponent finds himself in here and now!
Gavin Kirkland: Kazama is beating the shit out of Golde who is yelling and demanding that the referee get his foot out. The referee eventually gets between Golde and Kazama threatening to disqualify Kazama is he does not back off! Kazama kicks Golde hard one more time in the head before backing off. The referee briefly struggles with the ropes before managing to free Golde’s leg. But the damage has been done. Golde stands up but struggles to put pressure on his ankle and trips into the corner. Kazama rushes in with a Stinger Splash!
Eve: He got all of it as Golde collapses into the corner. Golde is now in a seated position as Kazama comes in running quickly! Kazama with Double Knee Strikes to the face as he gets all of it. Kazama yanks the ankle of Golde out into the ring and goes for the cover!

Golde tries to grab at the ropes but Kazama jumps up onto his back applying more pressure. But Golde rushes backwards slamming Kazama back first into the corner. Kazama gets up as Golde staggers out of the corner! Kazama leaps up to the middle rope!!! SPRINGBOARD FOREARM OFF THE MIDDLE ROPE!!! Kazama got all of it and then throws his arm over the chest of Golde! Could this be it?!?!

Eve: No! Clayton Golde gets the knees up! Kazama crashes and burns! Clayton rolls himself on top of Kazama who is writhing in pain and hooks the leg!!!

(As the footage switches to the backstage area, we see Daryl Kinkade getting ready for his match in a few short minutes. Before too long, Pandora Paisley walks in her street clothes, she looks rather naked without the Unified Tag Team Championship. Halsey Neel is not there.)

(The two hug, haven’t seen each other in a few days. Knowing they are one person short thanks to the injury sustained by Halsey Neel at Pain For Pride, they were all three rafted to Showdown, back home.)

None of us won at Pain For Pride, you should have a briefcase, and we should still have the Unified Tag Team Championships, but everything fell apart after Fighting Spirit and I’m not too bloody happy about it. But there is nothing that I can do now but accept the outcome, besides, me partner is out.
Daryl Kinkade: I get that, Pandora. There is nothing worse than walking out of the biggest event of the year empty handed, but no matter what happens the last few months of the season, the truth is, no one can take from you what you and Halsey accomplished. I have no doubt that you will get those titles back one day.
(Pandora heard what Daryl has to say, and while it makes a ton of sense, at the same time, it is rather infuriating for Pandora who really wanted to walk into Season 19 with those titles. But now se finds herself in a bit of a crossroads, with her partner injured.)
Daryl Kinkade: Look, we are back on Showdown, that accounts for something, right?
Pandora Paisley: Yeah, of course. I am ecstatic to be back, mate. It feels like we have returned home, but this is one of those situations where we really need to talk about what the future holds.
(Daryl Kinkade sits next to her.)
Daryl Kinkade: The future is bright, it always has been, Pandora. We hit a few snags here and there but overall; I think last season was a pretty successful one if we are going to really look at things as a whole. I stayed in an overall good position, while you and Halsey defeated the Jaded Hearts and did the impossible.
Pandora Paisley: It started tough for sure, that bloody tournament didn’t help things, having me finger broken and bit by piranhas didn’t help, and though we did turn it around mid-season, still the end wasn’t what any of us wanted. We did alright though, mate, that is for sure. But this season needs to be different, all of us have goals, you know and let’s be real, you have been chasing a major championship for some time, and this is your opportunity to get there. Without Halsey right now the last thing I want is for you to think that I need to be part of what you are doing.
Daryl Kinkade: But Halsey is gone for now.
Pandora Paisley: Yeah, best case scenario a few months, worst case scenario, 3-4, and so that doesn’t have to be a crutch for us right now. I don’t want you to feel obligated like you need to team up with me or always be in me corner, or even worry about me, much the same with you Daryl. I don’t want you to stifler your career with mine ands vice versa. In truth, I could have three or fourth on me own, mate and I want to make the best of it. I have never wrestled really as a singles and I want to get me feet wet, test the waters, do what I can to establish me name as well, at least until Halsey comes back.
(Daryl nods, he sees exactly where Pandora is coming from and can understand her plight. In a way he is glad that she said it, because to him, he feels the same way.)
Daryl Kinkade: I get it, and that doesn’t mean we still can’t have each other’s backs, then once Halsey returns, we can be that British Invasion once again. You were always deemed for greatness, love, I think we both know that. If this is what you want, I’m all for it.
Pandora Paisley: Yeah, again we have each other’s backs, anything you need, I am here.
Daryl Kinkade: Same to you.
Pandora Paisley: And when Halsey returns, we put this band back together and we take back Showdown. Agreed?
Daryl Kinkade: Agreed.
(The two shake hands and nod before hugging one another. Daryl knows that he has a match coming up with Brianna Hill in moments, so he grabs his gear and is ready to walk out.)
Daryl Kinkade: I have my match next.
Pandora Paisley: I’ll come with you.
Daryl Kinkade: No, you’re right, I need to do this on my own. Tell you what, Silas World gets out of hand?
(Pandora smirks.)
Pandora Paisley: I’ll be there, love.
(As they fist pump, Daryl grabs his things and steps out. Pandora looks at her phone, seeing a text from Jon Kelton. She wishes he was still on Showdown, but they switched and now he is on Voltage. She texts him back and takes a selfie blowing a kiss, hitting send before she gets up and heads to the door, but just as she opens it, Silas Mason is standing right there.)
Pandora Paisley: You are stalking me now.
Silas Mason: I must head out to the ring, but I wanted to welcome you back on Showdown. It is a shame really that your partner let you down, Pandora. Ruined that moment you could have had at Pain For Pride. That is twice she pretty much failed you, but I am not here to throw anyone under the buss, I am simply here to say welcome and know when you are ready to start winning some singles gold and want to be taken as a serious singles competitor? Well… all you have to do is walk down the hallway and I will be waiting. It looks like this is going to be a long season of us together here.
(Silas nods and walks off, leaving Pandora narrowing her green cat-like eyes watching as he walks away, gritting her teeth as the camera fades to ringside, and Gina Romano. )
(The camera fades to ringside.)
Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST, ACCOMPANIED TO THE RING BY SILAS MASON! SHE IS THE BUTTERFLY QUEEN…. BRIANNA HILL!
(“Another World” by Gojira plays throughout the arena as Brianna Hill walks out slowly looking intense, she is accompanied by Silas Mason who leads her into the ring, he holds the ropes as she gets in and poses in the middle of the ring.)
Deadprez: The former Specialist Champion is back on Showdown looking to make a statement! Things didn’t go her way at Pain For Pride, but Brianna Hill is looking for gold.
Eve: She is dangerous, but most of all determined. She wants to send a message tonight.
Gavin Kirkland: She is one to watch this season.
(As the theme dies down, “New Devil” by Asking Alexandria plays throughout the arena as Daryl Kinkade walks out. He gets an ovation as he returns home to Showdown. He looks around and nods before making his way to the ring, he hops over the ropes and into the ring staring across at Brianna.)
Deadprez: Daryl Kinkade has returned, and he is back home on Showdown with The British Invasion! He looks ready as well to remind everyone just how talented this man is !
Eve: Daryl is ready to break that glass ceiling, and I know that he is looking forward to this opportunity back on Showdown!
Gavin Kirkland: Pandora is still my favorite.
(The referee checks both competitors before he calls for the bell and the start of the match.)
(DING!!!! DING!!!! DING!!!!)
(Daryl Kinkade and Brianna Hill circle the ring, Silas Mason watches from the outside as Daryl has his eyes on him, but they quickly lock up, Daryl with a side headlock, but Brianna Hill pushes him off.)
Deadprez: Brianna is able to throw him off, he bounces off the ropes, and hits a shoulder tackle! That takes Brianna down, Daryl runs against the other ropes, and Brianna drops down, Daryl jumps over her, she springs back up –
Eve: Arm drag by Daryl! Brianna bounces off the mat, but she is back, and Daryl catches her with a hip toss! Brianna though is right back up and Daryl hits a dropkick! She flies out of the ring as the crowd cheers Daryl, which is something he is not used to.
(The crowd cheers, more for the hatred of Silas World than anything, as the manager quickly runs over to Brianna and starts talking strategy. )
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t think Brianna Hill saw that coming from Daryl Kinkade! And he runs against the ropes and TOPE SUICIDA ON BRIANNA HILL! SILAS MASON WAS JUST ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE WAY! KINKADE IS ON FIRE!!!!
(The crowd explodes in cheers as Daryl wastes no time, rolling Brianna into the ring and siding on the apron, waiting on the outside As he springs off the ropes – )
Deadprez: Flying forearm! He hit Brianna on the face, and she looks out! He goes for the cover!

Eve: Brianna Hill with a boot! Daryl staggers back and Tornado Clothesline by Brianna Hill! She almost took the head off Daryl Kinkade! Daryl is down and Brianna climbs the top rope…. HUGE ELBOW on the chest of Daryl!
(Silas Mason smiles and claps. He watches as Brianna Hill picks up Daryl Kinkade and snapmares him over, before kicking him stiff right in the middle of his back.)
Eve: Daryl gets kicked hard in the back! Brianna Hill is starting to take over, as she grabs Daryl right back to his feet, whipping him into the turnbuckle! Daryl hits hard and stumbles backwards as he went chest first!
Gavin Kirkland: Bulldog from behind! The former Specialist Champion has one goal! That is to score a huge win against a returning Daryl Kinkade! She is not playing around and is trying to make a statement after an early onslaught by Daryl!
(Brianna grabs Daryl and picks him up, she sets him up for a suplex – )
Deadprez: She tries to hit the suplex! But Daryl Kinkade blocks it with his leg! She tries again, but Daryl again blocks it with his leg! Now Daryl muscles up Brianna hill and falls quickly into a Brain Buster! Brianna Hill might be out!

(The referee shakes his head holding two fingers up as Brianna is starting to show even more frustration. She starts to kick Daryl while he is down, and then runs against the ropes.)
Deadprez: She goes for a knee right on the chest of Daryl and rolls back on her feet! She looks back at Daryl; and bounces off the ropes with a Springboard right into a Moonsault! That was pretty and she hooks the legs for the cover!

Silas Mason: (Off Mic) FINISH HIM!
(Brianna looks over and nods, before waiting as Daryl Kinkade slowly gets up, he is dizzy, staggered, and on his knees.)
Gavin Kirkland: he has no idea that it is coming! Daryl is done! I am telling you; he is done! Brianna loads and she runs at him…. IT HITS DIFFERENT!!!!
Deadprez: NO! SHE MISSED AND DARYL KINKADE HITS THE BOW DOWN TO THE KINK! BRIANNA BOUNCES OFF THE ROPES AND DARYL ROLLKS HER UP FOR THE PIN WITH A BRIDGE!

Eve: HUGE WIN FOR DARYL KINKADE ON HIS RETURN TO THE BLUE BRAND AND SHOWDOWN! THERE ARE GOING TO BE HUGE THINGS FOR HIM!
Gavin Kirkland: Brianna had him and Silas Mason is angry! Daryl Kinkade has his arm raised and –
Deadprez: WHAT THE HELL MAN! HARPER LEE AND DONOVAN DUKE CAME OUT OF NOWHERE AND THEY ATTACK DARYL KINKADE! HE DIDN’T SEE THEM COMING AND BRIANNA HILL JOINS IN! SILAS MASON IS IN THE RING TOO AND ALL FOUR OPF THEM ARE LAYING BOOTS TO DARYL KINKADE!
(The crowd boos loudly as Daryl tries to cover up but to no avail as he is being beaten down hard by Silas World. They pick him up and Harper Lee grabs the title; she is about to bash Daryl in the face with it.)
Deadprez: They are going to cave Daryl’s face in and –
(Suddenly “Just Stop” by Disturbed starts to play throughout the arena, the crowd stands up and cheers as Pandora Paisley comes running out.)
Eve: PANDORA PAISLEY IS RUNNING OUT TO HELP HER STABLEMATE AND FRIEND! SHE SLIDES IN AND –
Gavin Kirkland: What the hell?
(Silas quickly scrambles and pulls Harper, Brianna, and Donovan Duke back as they drop Daryl Kinkade. Pandora is ready to fight when Silas shakes his head.)
Silas Mason: (Off Mic) NO! Don’t touch her. Don’t touch her! We are leaving.
(Pandora is gritting her teeth while checking on Daryl. Donovan just smirks and winks at Pandora before he walks out, Brianna Hill with a smirk does the same. Harper too smiles and leaves the ring, they were all instructed not to touch Pandora.)
Silas Mason: (Off Mic) Help your friend.
(Pandora tilts her head in confusion as Silas World leaves the ring and start to make their way to thew back.)
Deadprez: What the hell was that? Silas didn’t want the troops to attack Pandora. We have seen him scouting her for a month now and this time they don’t even touch her!? I smell something dirty here!
Gavin Kirkland: They want her, hell I want her! Who doesn’t want the beautiful Hellcat!
Eve: I don’t like this, one bit.
(The final scene is Silas World backing up the ramp while Silas looks into the ring with a smile on his face, as Pandora checks on Daryl who is back on his feet, she raises his arm in victory. As it fades elsewhere.)
(The camera shot cuts from the ringside area to the backstage area where Kyra Phillips is standing in front of a blue Showdown banner with a microphone in her hand and a smile on her face as she begins to address the Showdown audience.)
Kyra Phillips: What a great match we just witnessed between Brianna Hill of Silas World and Daryl Kinkade of the British Invasion. There is still plenty of action left to come on the first edition of Showdown of the New Season.
Kyra Phillips: I think it would be safe to say that the Draft is already starting to start paying dividends and my guest at this time is one of those competitors who were selected to be part of the Showdown roster last week. This man is one of the best to ever do it. This man is a member of the EAW Hall of Fame. He is a former TEN TIME World Champion. He is the one and only IMPACT!
(Impact appears and stands next to Kyra while the crowd gives him a mixed, but still negative, reaction. They respect his accomplishments, but they really don’t care much about him.)
Kyra Phillips: Impact, thank you for sparing a few moments of your time and allow me to welcome you back to Showdown.
Impact: The pleasure is all yours.
Kyra Phillips: First off, I would like to congratulate you on picking up the victory last week at the draft show against the World Heavyweight Champion Cy Henderson.
Impact: Were you expecting anything different? Cy just wishes he could be on my level, but we all know that it isn’t going to happen.
Kyra Phillips: You did get the win, but some have said that it didn’t come without controversy with Methuselah coming out and attacking Cy which eventually cost him the match.
Impact: Those people might call it controversy, but I call it Cy not being able to watch out for his enemies. Why? He is the World Heavyweight Champion and that means he should keep eyes in the back of his head. He didn’t and I won the match. Simple as that.
Kyra Phillips: Understood. As we get to this season, you are once again a member of the Showdown roster. Now the last time you were on Showdown, it was two seasons ago. While you were on Showdown last, you were the Answers World Champion and that was your legendary tenth reign. My first question to you is how do you feel being back on Showdown.
Impact: If I am going to be truthful, I think it’s a wonderful opportunity for me, Kyra.
Kyra Phillips: Would you be able to elaborate on that?
Impact: Kyra, after getting the chance to spend a little bit of time on Dynasty, I quickly came to the realization that many people were sleeping on me and what I could do. Come on! There is still plenty of gas left in the tank and I know damn well that I could easily become World Champion again. Especially since my last great season was here on Showdown.
Kyra Phillips: You certainly do have what it takes, especially after what we saw last week in the draft. My next question for you is that now that you are back on Showdown, the environment has changed a little bit in the last two seasons which includes different Elitists. In your opinion, what do you think of the Showdown roster?
(Impact thinks about it for a moment before a look of almost disgust comes across his face as he looks at Kyra.)
Impact: Do you want my honest opinion, Kyra?
Kyra Phillips: Of course I do. Tell me what you really think of the current Showdown roster.
Impact: Well, since you asked for my honest opinion… I am not impressed at all with this current Showdown roster. You don’t have to look very hard to see that there is an obvious generation gap between me and the majority of this roster. Hell, you can see a huge difference between the roster two seasons ago and now. It’s just sad.
Kyra Phillips: What exactly is sad about this roster?
Impact: Let’s start at the top. Look at who is the Answers World Champion now. Veena Adams. Good for her for shedding her nepo baby image, but she is still a spoiled brat and doesn’t deserve to be World Champion.
Impact: Then we have that Silas World group. Donovan Duke is a little shit who shouldn’t have held the Answers World Championship in the first place. Then there’s an even smaller shit with that Brianna Hill… whoever the fuck she is. Finally, there’s the smallest shit with Harper Lee who has a title and will probably screw everything up.
Kyra Phillips: Do you have any comments towards the rest of the Showdown roster?
Impact: Well Joso is here. Sucks that I can’t get rid of that dumb bastard. Then there’s Bea Valentine who turns into a crybaby when she loses a title. Camille is here too. Good for her. As for the rest of them? I have nothing to say because they aren’t worth the time or patience of someone like me.
Kyra Phillips: Alright then. My final question for you is do you have any specific goals for this season?
Impact: Kyra, I only have one goal and it’s pretty obvious when you think about it. My goal for this season is to wear that Answers World Championship around my waist again. Then the Answers World Championship will finally have a holder who truly deserves it and EAW will have an ELEVEN time World Champion. I don’t think anybody on Showdown is going to be able to handle me.
(Impact looks at Kyra one last time before simply walking away from the interview. Kyra looks on with a mix of confusion and shock on her face before she finally brings the microphone back to her face to speak.)
Kyra Phillips: Tha… Thank you for your time, Impact.
(The final shot has Kyra still looking in the direction of where Impact walked off before looking back at the camera and simply shrugging her shoulders as the camera shot fades elsewhere.)
(We have returned from commercial break and the camera is focused on the ring where Gina Romano is standing with a microphone in hand as she is ready to begin the introductions for the next match.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen, this next contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Lacrimosa [EPIC REMIX]’ by Samuel Kim starts to play as Vincent Mondrian enters the arena to boos from the crowd. Vincent could care less what the crowd thinks of him as he looks around with disdain on his face as he heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing first and making his way to the ring! Residing in Laren, Netherlands. Weighing in at 205 pounds! Here is “ZERO” VINCENT MONDRIAN!!
Deadprez: Here comes Vincent Mondrian making his way to the ring for his in ring debut as an official member of the Showdown roster. Make no bones about it, this man is vicious!
Eve: He is indeed. He is looking to start this season on a high note after his quest in winning the 24/7 Battle Royal came up just a little bit short. But he can most definitely get the job done.
Gavin Kirkland: Vincent is a former Interwire Champion and wants nothing more than another title reign. He can fight, but how can he handle his opposition?
(Vincent enters the ring and takes a corner as his music is replaced by “The World is Gonna End Tonight” Dan Romer & Peter Harper. Negativity engulfs the arena as Solomon Stane walks out to the ramp and gets down on a knee. He prays until Trixie comes out and puts a hand on his shoulder. He rises as she does this and then stares straight ahead and marches towards the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing his opponent! Being accompanied to the ring by Trixie! From The City of Sin! Weighing 266 pounds! Here is “YOUR SAVIOR” SOLOMON STANE!!
Eve: Speaking of opposition, this will be a huge test for Vincent as he has to go against a man who completely brutalized SOSA Henderson at Pain for Pride. This man is completely NUTS!!
Gavin Kirkland: Solomon has been on a mission and that mission took a good turn at Pain for Pride with a huge victory. Now the man is on Showdown and who knows how much chaos he’s gonna try and cause.
Deadprez: Solomon is a former Tag Team and Hardcore Champion and would love nothing more than to take more gold home with him. These two are not the most sane men on the roster, but who will win this battle? We are about to find out!
(Solomon slowly enters the ring and takes a corner while Trixie takes her place at ringside. Solomon’s music fades off as the referee warily checks both competitors before calling for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Eve: Here we go! Bell has rung and this match is underway. What do you expect to happen with this match?
Deadprez: I expect these two dangerous competitors to beat the holy high hell out of each other. Nothing more. Nothing less. This match is going to be a massacre in the best way possible.
Gavin Kirkland: I would say that these two are about to lock up, but they are just staring at each other in the center of the ring. Alright, more like glaring at each other. Oh this is gonna be good.
Deadprez: If they are having a meeting of the minds, we’ll be here all night because as has been seen, both men have completely lost their minds–
Eve: VINCENT WITH A SLAP TO SOLOMON’S FACE!! THAT COULD HAVE KNOCKED A MOLAR OR TWO LOOSE WITH THAT SHOT! HOLY CRAP! LOOK AT THE HANDPRINT ON SOLOMON’S FACE!
Gavin Kirkland: Solomon could easily go ballistic after that… BUT HE’S LAUGHING! THE SADISTIC BASTARD IS LAUGHING!! I think Vincent knocked that last screw of his loose–
Eve: SOLOMON RETURNS THE FAVOR WITH A HARD SLAP TO VINCENT! THAT SHOT SENT VINCENT STUMBLING BACK A LITTLE BIT, BUT HE HAS A SMILE ON HIS FACE! I THINK HE LIKED IT!!
Deadprez: Ohh this is going to be good. I can just feel it as now Vincent and Solomon lock up and Solomon is using his power advantage to overpower Vincent and send him into the corner.
Gavin Kirkland: The referee is asking for a clean break and they surprisingly get one UNTIL SOLOMON GOES FOR A THUMB TO THE EYE THAT VINCENT LUCKILY AVOIDS!
Eve: Vincent gets back to the center of the ring and he is asking Solomon to bring it on. Gotta give Vincent a lot of credit. He is certainly ready to fight. Might not be the brightest bulb, but gotta appreciate the fighting spirit.
Deadprez: Solomon saw that challenge and GOES FULL STEAM TOWARDS VINCENT! SOLOMON GOES FOR A BIG BOOT THAT VINCENT DUCKS OUT OF THE WAY FROM!
Gavin Kirkland: Solomon quickly turns around AND HE IS MET WITH A HEADBUTT TO THE CHEST FROM VINCENT!! I am not sure if Solomon is hurt from that or if he is just in shock!
Deadprez: Could be both as Vincent kicks Solomon in the gut and grabs him by the hair AND SNAPMARES HIM OVER! Solomon is seated as Vincent hits the ropes AND DELIVERS A DROPKICK TO THE BACK OF THE NECK!!
Eve: Solomon is trying to recover off the dropkick as Vincent hits the ropes on the other side before coming back AND KICKING SOLOMON IN THE FACE WITH ANOTHER DROPKICK!! Solomon is down and Vincent quickly goes for the cover!

Gavin Kirkland: SOLOMON KICKS OUT AT ONE AND HE JUST THREW VINCENT OFF OF HIM LIKE IT WAS NOTHING!! Vincent didn’t appreciate that as he just starts throwing lefts and rights trying to keep Solomon down.
Eve: But it doesn’t work as Solomon is back on his feet AND HE JUST PICKS VINCENT UP AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED AND DRIVES HIM BACK DOWN TO THE MAT WITH A SAMOAN DROP!! VINCENT WAS PLANTED HARD!

Deadprez: Solomon brings Vincent back to his feet and still has a hold of his head BEFORE SOLOMON COMES OUT OF THE CORNER AND LAUNCHES VINCENT FROM ONE CORNER TO THE OTHER WITH THE BIEL THROW!!
Eve: Vincent got some hang time as he tries to get back on his feet. SOLOMON COMES RUNNING TOWARDS THE CORNER AND VINCENT COUNTERS WITH A HEADBUTT TO THE JAW!! GOOD GAWD!!
Gavin Kirkland: This has been a very physical match so far and if this is how the matches the first week of the season are going to go, I know that Showdown is going to DOMINATE the season. WOOHOO!!
Eve: Solomon was staggered back after that shot and Vincent decides to try his luck and climb all the way to the top rope and go high risk.
Deadprez: But as soon as he gets on the top rope, Solomon comes back AND CATCHES HIM RIGHT IN THE MOUTH WITH A RIGHT HAND! THAT STOPS VINCENT IN HIS TRACKS!
Gavin Kirkland: Solomon shakes the cobwebs from the headbutt and grabs Vincent off the top turnbuckle AND LIFTS HIM UP IN THE AIR WITH A MILITARY PRESS!! LOOK AT THE POWER OF SOLOMON STANE!!
Eve: Solomon is lifting Vincent up like it was nothing as he carries him all the way to the center of the ring BEFORE DROPPING HIM ONTO HIS SHOULDER AND DRIVING HIM DOWN TO THE MAT WITH A GORILLA PRESS POWERSLAM!!

Deadprez: Vincent is a former champion in EAW, so it’s going to take a lot more than that to truly put him away. But Solomon is the sort of demented that likes a match to go on longer because of the amount of pain he can cause.
Eve: Solomon pulls Vincent back on his feet and kicks him to double him over into the gutwrench position BEFORE SOLOMON LIFTS HIM IN THE AIR! Vincent’s legs are around his waist and Solomon likes to go for the Gory Special submission in this spot–
Gavin Kirkland: VINCENT IS ABLE TO GET FREE AND ROLL DOWN INTO THE SUNSET FLIP! SOLOMON IS LOSING HIS BALANCE BUT STILL ON HIS FEET! VINCENT IS TRYING TO GET MOMENTUM ON HIS SIDE!

Eve: Another bad landing in this match as Solomon backs up to gain momentum BEFORE RUNNING BACK TO VINCENT AT FULL SPEED–
Gavin Kirkland: SOLOMON WENT FOR THE BIG BOOT AND VINCENT SLID OFF THE ROPES AT THE LAST SECOND! Solomon got caught on the top rope and Vincent is able to pull Solomon over and send him out to the floor.
Eve: Vincent quickly gets back into the ring and goes to the far side before running back to the other side with full speed and momentum AS HE DIVES THROUGH THE ROPES AND HITS SOLOMON WITH A SUICIDE DIVE!
Deadprez: Direct hit AND SOLOMON IS ABLE TO STAY ON HIS FEET AFTER STUMBLING BACK AND HITTING OUR ANNOUNCE TABLE! We might wanna get out of the way as Vincent goes back into the ring.
Gavin Kirkland: Vincent builds up speed again AND HE DIVES THROUGH THE ROPES FOR ANOTHER SUICIDE DIVE BUT SOLOMON CAUGHT HIM! Solomon has Vincent around the waist before changing it into a bear hug position–

Eve: All the while, the referee has started a count. If these two aren’t careful, this match will end in a double countout. Solomon is barely moving as Trixie starts yelling at Solomon to get back to his feet.
Gavin Kirkland: Vincent was able to stay on his feet after the back body drop as he slowly slid himself into the ring in order to break the count, but Vincent slides back out of the ring and that forces the referee to restart the count.
Eve: Vincent grabs Solomon by the hair and drags him back to the ring AND JUST SMASHES HIS FACE AGAINST THE RING APRON! He still has the hair AND SMASHES SOLOMON’S FACE AGAIN! THAT’S NOT GOING TO IMPROVE HIS LOOKS!

Deadprez: The referee starts a count and Solomon stops the punches on four. We should appreciate that his crazy attitude didn’t get him disqualified.
Gavin Kirkland: At this point, Solomon is just going to start having fun with Vincent and beating the holy snot out of him. With that being said, Solomon decides to return the favor and grab Vincent by the hair and pull him back to his feet.
Deadprez: Solomon kicks Vincent and gets him into the gutwrench position before LIFTING HIM UP IN THE AIR FOR ANOTHER POWERBOMB—
Eve: VINCENT IS FIGHTING BACK! VINCENT IS THROWING LEFTS AND RIGHTS INTO SOLOMON’S SKULL TRYING TO GET FREE—
Gavin Kirkland: HE’S BITING! VINCENT IS BITING SOLOMON’S FOREHEAD! GOOD GAWD! THESE TWO ARE BOTH FREAKING NUTS!!
Eve: The referee is telling Vincent to stop the biting until they start a count where Vincent does stop biting on four—

Deadprez: SOLOMON COMES OUT OF THE CORNER AND CLOBBERS VINCENT IN THE FACE WITH AN ELBOW SMASH!! CAUGHT HIM RIGHT IN THE JAW!! Vincent was staggered by the shot, but he is able to stay on his feet.

Deadprez: His hands were down and he could have been knocked out after that kick. Hell, a few of his teeth could have been sent into the stands, but Solomon doesn’t care about that as he is looking to cause as much pain as possible to Vincent.
Eve: Instead of staying on the ground attack, Solomon is changing up his attack by climbing up to the second rope. He is just staring at Vincent as he watches him slowly recover from the kick from earlier.

Gina Romano: Here is your winner… SOLOMON STANE!!
Deadprez: This was a hell of a match between two very tough and very crazy competitors that literally beat the hell out of each other. It’s a shame that it ended the way it did.
Eve: Yeah, these two were fighting hard, but it was the interference by Trixie Stane that turned the match in Solomon’s favor.
Gavin Kirkland: Gotta appreciate a lovely lady who is willing to risk her well being by getting into the mix and supporting her man.
(Solomon is back on his feet as the referee raises his arm in victory before Trixie shoves the referee out of the way and raises her husband’s arm in victory before they both look down at the still down Vincent Mondrian before leaving the ring and heading up the entrance ramp.)
Eve: Yeah yeah, but we really shouldn’t have been surprised that Trixie would interfere on behalf of Solomon and cost Vincent the match.
Gavin Kirkland: Well, yeah, but we can still give Vincent credit for the fight he brought. He was really close on numerous occasions on winning the match, so the future can be bright for Vincent Mondrian.
Deadprez: With this showing, Vincent will no doubt be a force on Showdown, but this match belongs to Solomon Stane… thanks to Trixie. Either way, congrats to Solomon on the victory here tonight.
(The final shot shows Trixie and Solomon standing at the top of the entrance ramp as they soak in the negativity from the crowd because of the victory before cutting to the ring where Vincent is now sitting up with a look of frustration on his face as the camera cuts elsewhere.)
(The camera cuts to Gina Romano in the ring. Gina is smiling as she addresses the crowd which is hyped up from a great night of action here on Showdown.)

Eve: At Pain for Pride, Ms. Extreme pulled off the unthinkable and won the EAW Universal Women’s Championship in the main event!!!
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t know if I would call it unthinkable. Ms. Extreme has main evented Pain for Pride before. She can do anything! And with the right man by her side, that man being me, anything can be achieved!
Deadprez: He had us in the first half not gonna lie…

(Ms. Extreme goes to all four corners in the ring raising up her championship high into the air before she stands in the ring and asks for a microphone. She is handed one through the ropes and the music fades. Ms. Extreme waits for several minutes for the fan cheers and chants to die down before she begins to speak.)

Not interested in some tag team specialists who aren’t capable of winning shit on their own. Brianna Hill? Another Donovan Duke leech. Caroline? Same thing except with Xander literally weighing her down! Auburn Ware failed at Pain for Pride. She doesn’t deserve to be in the same ring as me. Bridget Bridget? I am not wasting my time on a joke comedy gimmick. She can stick to jerking the curtains. “The Eternal Empress” Bea Valentine? Clearly she’s not that eternal. Ms. Extreme: You know you would think someone would have interrupted me by now with all the shit I’ve been talking. But maybe it is because they all are scared and realize I am saying nothing but facts. Oh well. Maybe next week someone will stand up and challenge me. So I’ll tell you what. I’ll give you all a week to think about it. Next week, I will be back here on Showdown and I will be waiting for a response. If nobody stands up, I will be very disappointed to have my time wasted, and don’t expect to see me around here on Showdown again. I’ll be moving on to people and places a little more worth my time…

(Ms. Extreme shrugs at the negative response from the crowd before tossing the microphone. Her music blasts up yet again as she raises up the championship before leaving the ring.)
Eve: Damn. I was not expecting to see Ms. Extreme be that disrespectful towards the competition here on Showdown. Despite what she said we have a great roster and a lot of talented wrestlers who would be more than a match for her.
Gavin Kirkland: Then why didn’t anyone answer the challenge?
Deadprez: Maybe they will next week. We will find out!!!
(The camera fades to a commercial featuring rednecks blowing their hands off with fireworks on the 4th of July.)
(The camera returns to ringside, and ‘Stop Breathing’ by Playboi Carti hits, causing an explosion of boos to come from the fans in attendance, who aren’t amused knowing who usually follows this music. As the camera pans towards the stage, Jake Smith can be seen walking out to the stage, but he is once again not alone. Alongside him are the allies he has found over the past year, Caroline, and their newest ally, Xander Payne. This causes even more boos to come from the fans, and all three Elitists have microphones in their hands as they begin making their way to the ring.)
Deadprez: We saw the beginning of a new group back at Pain for Pride, and at the Draft show we both learned exactly why Xander would do what he did, and witnessed he and Jake Smith defeat a very great team in Elysium. I gotta admit I’m not happy seeing them on Showdown. Who knows what’ll happen?
Gavin Kirkland: Well I don’t know about you two, but I’m very happy they’re on Showdown! Now I get to see Caroline every week!
Eve: I wish you weren’t here. Anyways, this trio is on their way to the ring, and it looks like they have some more words for us tonight as all three of them are holding mics. Let’s see what they have to say.
(The three Elitists all begin to make their way into the ring, before finally they all stand united in the center of the ring. Jake’s entrance music fades out, but it goes almost unnoticed as the boos from the crowd continues. Ignoring this, Jake begins to speak as he has a grin on his face.)
Jake Smith: You guys can shut up! We did exactly what we said we were gonna do at the Draft, didn’t we? We don’t care if you guys are gonna spend every single week booing us the same way you always have, because we already proved it didn’t mean anything at the Draft just like we proved it didn’t mean anything at Pain for Pride when the loser you all were rooting for ended her night staring at the lights, covered in the black mist. We’re the best there is, and even idiots like you all in the crowd should be able to understand what that means. We’re bringing about a new era around here, because the Jake Smith Show is BACK, and this time I’m not alone. This time, I’m with two people who alongside me have formed the premiere group in EAW.
(This brings about more boos from the fans, but Jake just shakes his head before continuing.)
Jake Smith: I get that Showdown has developed a bit of a reputation in recent times. First it was Devolution, then it was Silas World. This place has already been getting terrorized by different stables for years and after Silas World completely dropped the ball at Pain for Pride, I’m sure you’re all looking to use this season as your chance to recover and move on from it all.
(After saying this, Jake can’t help but begin laughing, which only brings more anger from the fans.)
Jake Smith: Yeah, that’s not happening! I don’t really care what happened around here last season, because this is our show now. The three of us are here to stay, and unlike groups of the past like Devolution, or even the other groups here on Showdown like Silas World and the British Invasion, this group ACTUALLY consists of top level talent. This group is filled with not just Showdown’s best, but EAW’s best, and Elitists like us aren’t just gonna be wiped out so easily. This is what real talent looks like, and if you don’t get it now you will get it soon enough, because I can promise you all that nobody on this brand is safe from us, and it’s only a matter of time until you’re seeing gold around our waists.
(The booing continues, but Jake just brushes it off as Xander Payne steps forward, seemingly having heard enough from the fans as he begins to speak.)
Xander Payne: Are you all listening? This is more than just a promise. This is what everyone needs to hear, including my family watching at home. You all need to understand that this is the next step. This is what the future holds for this place, and this is what was necessary for me as an Elitist. I’ve been questioned week after week and I thought that the questions would stop after I explained why I did what I did last week, but that was not the case. Instead, the questions continued, as you all were unable to comprehend the idea of fighting for your own family. You’re unable to understand what it’s like trying to lead your loved ones into a better future. If you all don’t care that’s fine, that’s your issue to deal with, but I made my intentions clear and I will not let anyone on this brand prevent me from sending my children the message they need to receive.
(The fans don’t appear to appreciate Xander’s words, but Jake has a smirk on his face still hearing Xander speak. After a moment, Xander continues.)
Xander Payne: I understand what it’s like being dragged down all for the sake of fighting a battle that didn’t concern me. Once upon a time I was nothing more than an accessory in Ryan Wilson’s failed campaign to become Unified Tag Team Champion. At Pain for Pride I was once again an accessory, only this time I wasn’t willing to allow myself to fall victim to the same circumstances I’ve faced in the past. No, I couldn’t allow it, because I’m fighting for more than just myself. I’m fighting so my children can look up to someone that truly matters, someone that can show them everything they’ll need to know. For us, taking over this brand isn’t just an empty promise. In fact, it’s only the beginning, and you’ll find out exactly what that means soon enough.
(After this, Xander looks directly into the camera.)
Xander Payne: Until then, there’s no need to make this any more difficult than it needs to be. If you try to get in our way, you will come to regret it.
(The camera pans towards Caroline, who has a cold and almost unreadable expression on her face. It takes a moment, but finally, she begins to speak.)
Caroline: I lost the ability to find joy in what I do a very long time ago, but there is one area where I have been able to find myself on the same page as even someone like Jake. We are here for power, and if that means spreading darkness to the rest of this company and making everyone else suffer, so be it. I don’t need to have my own suffering understood by the masses. I don’t do what I do for the sake of becoming a fan favorite, or receiving cheers from any of you seated in the crowd. Since I have returned to Showdown this season, I alongside Jake and Xander will be planning to crush anyone in our path, and we will look to end this season with everything that we desire no matter who it is that attempts to stop us. This brand has a very grim future ahead of it, and it’s a future you need to prepare yourself for, as we will be at the forefront of it.
(While the booing continues, the look on Caroline’s face doesn’t change, unaffected by the reception of the fans as she continues.)
Caroline: Xander made the decision that’d alter his career at Pain for Pride, but he made that decision for a reason. The three of us all have history on this brand, and while I will not speak for the others, I had already spent my last season on Showdown as a force. Now, we will do whatever it takes to tear this brand apart, and since Kennedy made the unfortunate decision to draft not just us, but every group this company has to offer, we’ll gladly put an end to each and every one of them if it means accomplishing our goal. If nothing else, I can agree with Jake on one thing, and it is that nobody on this brand is safe. There is nobody we won’t take out, whether it be to fulfill our own goals or to simply send a message. I’ve long accepted that this place is rotten, but we will not allow our time here to go to waste so easily.
(After this, Caroline stops speaking for a moment. She glares forward, staring at the camera in front of her, before beginning to say just a few more words, which draw a loud reaction from the fans.)
Caroline: From this day forward, we will be known as Figura Prismatis. Remember this, as it is the name that’ll define this season.
(Caroline stops speaking as the booing returns, but soon after this, ‘Stop Breathing’ begins to play once more. The fans loudly boo, still not pleased by the group now known as Figura Prismatis, especially after everything they have already done in the last few weeks. However, the Elitists inside of the ring don’t show any concern for the fans in attendance, as they turn and begin to make their way out of the ring.)
Deadprez: A huge statement has been made tonight, as we now know that these three will be known as Figura Prismatis. All three of these Elitists are extremely talented, but beyond that they’re real dangerous! If I were an Elitist backstage right now, I’d be taking every threat we just heard completely seriously.
Gavin Kirkland: That’s their name? Sounds creepy, but that’s fine. Getting to see Caroline every week will be a real treat, so-
Eve: Can you talk about something actually important?
Gavin Kirkland: …Fine. They mentioned it themselves, but Showdown is full of different stables this season, and these three have seemingly put them on notice tonight.
Eve: That’s right, and while the British Invasion and Silas World consist of impressive talent in their own right, there’s no telling what these three might do. This is definitely going to be an interesting season, but if these three get what they want, that might not be for the better.
(Caroline, Jake Smith and Xander Payne all begin to make their way up the ramp, ignoring the loud boos that are coming from the fans in attendance. All three of them look prepared for the season ahead of them as they have focused looks on their faces, and as they begin to make their way to the back, Showdown fades away from ringside.)
