(EAW intro plays.)
(RECAP OF UNDER SIEGE: The recap opens with the chaotic match between Cage and Bethany Blue that opened the show, ending in Cage coming out on the losing end after a slip up from Lucas Johnson. After the big win occurred for Bethany Blue, we then transitioned over to an address from Raven Roberts where she’d announce her presence in the 2021 Grand Rampage match. But first, she had to focus on a match between her and Harlow Reichert, which Raven Roberts would come out on top of, gaining some momentum heading into the Grand Rampage event. But speaking of Grand Rampage, we’d see an angered Cage scold Lucas for his mistakes out there in his match before announcing himself for said Grand Rampage match. But while that match is still taking shape with more entrants announced every day, we looked to see who would be the number one contender for the EAW Interwire Championship. And out of Woogieman, Kid Ohio, and James Ranger, Lucas Johnson would end up reigning supreme over them all, eliminating James at the very end to secure himself a spot to face the champion on this very Showdown. But before we can find out who that came to be, we had a match between Consuela Rose Ava and Miku Sakai. Hikari tried to cheat for her partner but ultimately her plans would backfire as the result remained the same with Ava walking out victorious. We had a segment where Dante Ford attempted to win the BBB Championship to lack of success before transitioning over to Hikari Kanno’s match with Jon Kelton where IDOL-GUN would finally change their luck for the night, defeating Kelton after Hikari had to use some underhanded tactics on her part. But Kelton would be reassured by Londyn Zelaya after the match that Kelton was still on the rise here on Showdown. Will her words be proven right? As of right now, we don’t know. But we do know that Bronson Daniels would end up finally getting the upper hand over Kensington Calhoun-Astor after a spinning roundhouse kick that knocked her out cold. More to come on those two later. But Ronan Malosi and Justin Windgate ended up having their match up next where Ronan would secure victory to win his very first championship ever here in EAW much to the surprise of many. But also to the joy of Alissa Brady, who would greet Ronan backstage and at first we thought Ronan would wind up in the friend zone, but Alissa would instead opt to kiss the new champion, cementing a relationship made between the two. But after that, Ryan Wilson would end up fighting for his job against a man fighting for his career in Xavier Williams, who wound up getting his hand raised by the end of the night. Successfully ending the tenure of Ryan Wilson as Showdown General Manager, who proceeded to get a not so nice send off from the Showdown roster. But we’d soon find out that our new general manager would be revealed tonight, and we’d also be contesting Bronson Daniels vs Kensingten Calhoun-Astor to take on the Interwire Champion at Grand Rampage. But it’d then be time for our main event of the evening featuring Kassidy Heart and Jack Ripley locked inside a steel cage, all to win the Answers World Championship. But at the end of the day, the only winner would be Kassidy Heart after using the exposed wooden floor to her advantage. And the show would close with Kassidy Heart holding that title up in the air atop of the steel cage, showing that Showdown has entered a new era here. The recap ends.)

(“Uncontainable” by Set it Off hits as Showdown’s blue and white lights shine throughout the World 1 Theatre. It pans to the virtual fans cheering waiting for the show to begin. The camera pans to the commentary trio.)
Eve: WELCOME LADIES AND GENTLEMEN TO A NEW ERA OF SHOWDOWN!!
Deadprez: That’s right. We have a brand new Interwire Champion, a brand new Answers World Champion, and the era of Ryan Wilson is finally over. :blessed:
Gavin Kirkland: Hope our new boss is a hot piece of ass. :shaq:
Eve: We’re told it’s a guy.
Gavin Kirkland: :will: FUCK!
Deadprez: Let’s not waste any time, the road to Grand Rampage begins now! Let’s get this show on the road!
(The crowd boos loudly as the camera transitions over to the ring to show the set up. It’s the Rated R&R Show and the virtual crowd is not shy on showing their displeasure no matter what happened at Under Siege. It stays on the setup for a moment before going to the stage.)
(‘Fire Storm A’ by Herman’s Langschwert & Wolfgang Killian blasts through the speakers as the crowd absolutely erupts into boos this time. Ronan Malosi is seen coming out to the stage with of course, the Interwire Championship around his shoulder as he clearly looks as happy as ever. He’s not alone though, as next to him is Alissa Brady, both of them holding hands as they look to one another with mischievous smirks. Ronan and Alissa make their way down the ramp before entering into the ring as Ronan takes a seat on a plush velvet chair, before patting his lap as Alissa sits on Ronan’s lap as he can only have a smile from ear to ear in response)
(Before long though ‘Fire Storm A’ is replaced by ‘The Only Thing they Fear is You’ by Mick Gordan as the crowd once again boos as Ryan Wilson makes his way out to the stage as well. He’s clearly not a burst of energy as he usually is as he simply walks out with a straight look on his face, obviously not pleased as he stands at the center of the stage. Ronan and Alissa clap their hands together, possibly in an attempt to cheer him up, as Ryan trudges down the ramp and up the steel steps, before entering into the ring. He practically plops down in his chair next to Ronan. ‘The Only Thing they Fear is You from there fades out as both members of Chained Fury take mics before Ronan begins to speak)
Ronan Malosi: Ryan you know what that smell is?
Ryan Wilson: What.
Ronan Malosi: :ahh: The smell of victory.
Ryan Wilson: Yeah, sure…
Ronan Malosi: They all doubted me! Each and every person! And a part of me was myself too! A conspiracy continuing to loom above my head, despite that, your Hot Take King persevered! And in turn, got everything he ever wanted. A beautiful title…
(Ronan looks at the title around his shoulder before looking up to Alissa on his lap)
Ronan Malosi: And a beautiful woman.
(Ryan closes his eyes and takes a deep breath as he hears Ronan’s monologue, obviously not sharing the same sentiment as he is at the moment. Ronan looks towards him as his smile dies down for a moment, before he quickly continues to speak)
Ronan Malosi: And of course my partner Ryan! Although he lost his General Manager job…
Ryan Wilson: You don’t need to rub it in Ryan, I’m sure they all get it.
Ronan Malosi: You’re still Ryan Wilson! I mean, the both of us are the equivalent of greatness around these parts, but believe me, if anything? Those shackles have been taken off my friend! You can do whatever the hell you desire, of course, minus going after the Interwire Champion, wouldn’t want you getting another loss on your plate.
Ryan Wilson: Excuse me-
(Before Ryan can finish what he’s saying the lights in the World 1 Theatre begin to flash. Both Ronan and Alissa look excited as Ryan is clearly even more disinterested than before)
Ronan Malosi: You know what this means, HOT TAKE!!! Ronan Malosi will be the best Interwire Champion ever! Do you have one Alissa?
(The lights continue to flash as Ronan hands the mic to Alissa who has a smile on her face as she looks down at Ronan)
Alissa Brady: Hot Take! Ronan Malosi is the best EAW elitist to date!
Ronan Malosi: :mjlit: How about you Ryan?!
Ryan Wilson: No.
Ronan Malosi: ALRIGHT THEN!
(The lights die down and go back to normal as before Ronan can speak, Ryan quickly interjects)
Ryan Wilson: Enough about you at the moment, I feel like we aren’t talking more about what happened to me at Under Siege! I lost my damn job! I’m back to being a Showdown elitist and I’ve been removed from my General Manager duties! Why aren’t we talking about that?! Why aren’t we talking about the fact that I was the best General Manager that this goddamn brand ever had?! And now that I’m not General Manager anymore, that role will be handed to someone who doesn’t deserve it! Tabarnak!
(Ryan takes a deep breath as he calms down, Ronan blinks for a few moments but pretends to be sympathetic)
Ronan Malosi: Yeah! I agree! What bullshit is this?! Here, how about we get to what was shown on the marquee. I’m upset! Ryan’s upset! I’m sure Alissa’s upset too.
(Alissa looks around in confusion for a moment before quickly nodding her head)
Ronan Malosi: We both demand to see who the failure is as the new Showdown General Manager!
(The crowd begins to stir upon hearing that. Absolutely buzzing to see who the new General Manager is, to be honest, anyone is better than Ryan Wilson. It isn’t long before…)
(‘No Regrets’ by Pusha T blasts through the speakers as the crowd erupts into cheers! Former, now officially current, Showdown General Manager Hurricane Hawk makes his way out to the stage with a big smile on his face. Ryan looks absolutely furious in the ring as Ronan’s confident look has turned a stern one as well upon seeing who it is. Hawk makes his way down the ramp as he makes his way up the steel steps and enters into the ring. He takes a moment to look out as the crowd chants his name, before looking over at the two of them with a light smile before taking a seat. ‘No Regrets’ then fades out from there as Hawk takes a mic and begins to speak)
Hurricane Hawk: I miss that, I miss all of this. It’s been a bit hasn’t it? I remember last season when I was Showdown General Manager, I was living the dream actually. I finally got rid of the nuisances that were The Round Table and sent them packing to Friday Night Dynasty, running my brand without a problem in the world, it was a good life if you ask me. All until I was pushed out by Jenny Punk last season as she took my place. I’ll admit, it isn’t how I wanted it to go down. I didn’t want it to end so soon, I felt like I had years in the tank considering it was a non-wrestling position in a business that I’ve loved dear, but it was taken away from me. But now? We get to make things right, back in the position, in my rightful opinion, that should’ve never been taken away from me, and once again, it feels pretty good being back-
Ryan Wilson: You shut your damn mouth.
(Ryan stands up from his seat and makes his way over to Hawk as Hawk stands up to level with him as the both of them stare at one another intensely. Both Ronan and Alissa look on with interest as they don’t seem interested in doing damage control at the moment)
Ryan Wilson: You don’t deserve that, you don’t deserve the spot that was wrongfully taken away from me! I don’t even know why the hell you had the balls to come out here in the first place! You’re going to fail, I will make sure of it. I will make sure your life is a living hell one way or another and make sure that with you in charge? People will miss ME! People will want Ryan Wilson instated back as Showdown General Manager, and because of that? Because of you in a position of power and not me? Showdown will suffer, I’ll tell you that right now!
(There’s a long pause after Ryan finishes speaking but Hawk only chuckles in response to Ryan’s confusement. Hawk shakes his head for a good moment before responding)
Hurricane Hawk: I expected this coming out here, all of this complaining from you that you lost your General Manager position in a match that you agreed to, and lost in. But you know what? That’s fine, let’s talk about making lives a living hell shall we? And no, unlike you, I am an unbiased General Manager and will not take time out of my day to make sure that you don’t get what you deserve on this brand, no matter how scummy you may be. I’m sure you know someone by the name of Dr. Bethany Blue right?
(Ryan blinks for a few moments as he nods in response, clearly more disgruntled hearing her name)
Hurricane Hawk: Well then, Bethany will get a chance to finally put you behind her once and for all. Next week, it will be Dr. Bethany Blue versus Ryan Wilson in a No Holds Barred match!
(The crowd cheers loudly in response as Ryan is absolutely irate. He looks pissed off as he’s about to speak before Ronan speaks up and holds Ryan back. He pushes him away as Ryan reluctantly obliges, holding his hands up, still angered)
Ronan Malosi: Alright I’ve had enough, who the hell do you think you are? You call this unbiased?! This is just another conspiracy! This time for the entirety of Chained Fury!
Hurricane Hawk: It wasn’t a conspiracy when you won the Interwire Championship was it Ronan? By the way, congratulations on your victory. But I know how you won the title was wrong, making sure Justin Windgate wasn’t 24/7. You know my advice to you? I’d recommend treading carefully, because your title reign has already started off on thin ice, and I have nothing to do in how your title run goes! I’ll let whoever wins the match of Bronson Daniels versus Kensingten Calhoun-Astor decide that.
(The crowd continues to cheer as Ronan is absolutely furious now. He moves back towards Ryan as he whispers in his ear. Ryan nods as Chained Fury approach Hawk closer, who is still completely unphased. Before they do anything though..)
Hurricane Hawk: I would suggest backing the fuck away from me. I know you guys got away with this shit under Ryan’s regime, but if you lay one finger on me, Ronan, I’ll end your fifteen minutes of fame before it even begins and fire both you and Ryan off my show. It’s your choice. I’m your boss, and you will learn to live with it. I’m back and I’m not taking any shit, and I’m getting Showdown back on track.
(Ryan gives Hawk the stinkface before Ronan and him back up as Alissa pulls Ronan’s hand away from Hawk.)
Hurricane Hawk: That’s what I thought. Now, Ronan, you got a championship defense to get ready for later tonight.
(Hawk drops the mic as he bumps shoulders with Ryan and Ronan as he exits the ring, and both members of Chained Fury look up the ramp as Hawk leaves, and the camera fades to black.)
(Commercial for next season’s “MasterChef” on FOX featuring Jake Smith auditioning for an apron. Gordon Ramsay spits the burnt foot out and curses at Jake, which causes him to cry.)
(The camera opens to the ring to see Gina Romano smiling ready to announce the first match of the evening.)
( ‘Smells like Teen Spirit’ by Nirvana plays over the PA system of World1 Theatre as the Hall of Famer makes his way to the ring. )
Gina Romano: Introducing first! From Edmonton, Alberta, Canada! Weighing in at 230 pounds! He is Judas! He is CAAAAAAAGE!!!
Gavin Kirkland: He looks ready to let out some steam tonight following a frustrating loss at Under Siege!
Deadprez: Isn’t he always? Cage always looks like he is ready to kick somebody’s ass! Tonight is no different! He also declared for the Grand Rampage, and we saw the rampage he went on last year damn near winning, finishing in the final two. That mixed in with his Under Siege loss, I wouldn’t bet against Cage in that Grand Rampage match!
( ‘Red Eye’ by NBA Youngboy hits on the sound system next as the anti-hero is making his way to the ring. )
Gina Romano: Annnd his opponent! Accompanied to the ring by Londyn Zelaya! From Toronto, Ontario, Canada! Weighing at 210 pounds! He is The Chosen One! JON KELL-TOOOOOON!!
Gavin Kirkland: How badly does he wants to win tonight is what I wonder!
Deadprez: He seems to be sick of being played with, I don’t think he ever was in it to play! Tonight should be a good match-up between both men who didn’t mince their words through the week!

Eve: And this match is officially under-
Cage: Best keep your whore out of the way or I’m going to mess her up just like I will you in a hot minute.
Gavin Kirkland: Hey that ain’t the way to talk to a lady!
Deadprez: When did that stop Cage from speaking his mind?
Eve: AND JON KELTON DIDN’T APPRECIATE THAT AS HE CHARGES IN AT CAGE! Kelton throws a few hits with his fists to the back of the head! Cage retreats to a corner before rolling into the ropes as Kelton throws a few headbutts! Cage is whipped into the ropes, Kelton goes as well leaping towards Cage with a crossbody but he bounces off his opponent who acted like a wall just now against the Toronto native! Kelton looks shook a little seated in the middle of the ring before getting laid down with a few stiff punches to the shoulder and the top of the head from Cage! Kelton tries to get up but is kicked down by Cage he then picks the Hall of Famer up, throwing jabs at him which ends up into closed fists punches! Kelton looks angry tonight!
Gavin Kirkland: He did say he was sick of the games, looks like he is in to make a statement!
Eve: Agreed! Irish whip gets Cage into the ropes he tries for a clothesline but Kelton counters with a drop kick to the knee forcing Cage down! He gets picked up , whip into the corner and one leg raised over the second rope! Jon climbs atop of Cage standing on the second ropes and unloads a series of fists before suddenly running to the ropes and comes back drop kicking Cage’s leg! Cage gets out of the corner supported by the ropes but goes down with Cage who drags him down to the floor with a dragonscrew! Cage has enough, rolling out of the ring trying to recover but his opponent doesn’t give him such reprieve! He’s right behind him and takes him down with a clothesline before tossing him against the ring! Kelton quickly rolls in and out of the ring to break the official’s count going back on the offensive with a side russian leg sweep against the railing surrounding the ring! So far this match has been mostly Kelton who keeps focusing on Cage’s knee and leg with a chop block behind it and then a few kicks. Cage gets shoved into the ring he is getting up into a corner Kelton is still not far behind throwing a few fists before stepping away to get distance so he can run in for a clothesline but Cage counters! Jon turns he has his back against the turnbuckles n-A DIAMOND CUTTER ON JON KELTON!! JUST LIKE THAT! OUT OF NOWHERE!! Cage wants to go for the pin but Kelton quickly rolls out of the ring.
Gavin Kirkland: Even stunned Kelton on instinct probably just saved himself right there.
Eve: Jon Kelton in control up until now and Cage managed to bail out of hot water with just one move!
Eve: Cage is looking down on his opponent who is going vertical slowly. Cage goes into the ropes now as he is thinking top rope suicida, but he stops before he could jump! LONDYN STANDS BETWEEN HIM AND KELTON! THE HELL IS SHE DOING?!
Deadprez: Courageous especially against Cage!
Cage: Get the fuck out of the way you stupid bitch!
Londyn Zelaya: How about you make me, “bitch”!
Gavin Kirkland: No filters tonight eh?

Eve: Cage stomps his way out of the ring hellbent on making Londyn move away from Kelton. Zelaya moves out of the way just in time for Kelton to throw a thumb to the eye on Cage and grab him by the shoulders rapidly and throw him into the steel steps with force! Damn! Kelton keeps the pressure on grabbing Cage and shoving his head into the post but keeps him upright and shoves him into the ring. Cage looks in trouble against this aggressive version of Kelton who moves in fast for a sleeper hold trying to put the Hall of Famer down! Cage looks about to faint but he seems to muster the energy within to pry Kelton off him, he manages to do so for good with some elbows to the chest and head of his opponent before moving to the ropes gaining momentum to strike but gets taken down with a spinning heel kick!! Cage is down again but gets picked up quickly and thrown into the ropes….the side walk slam takes down Cage!! Cover by Kelton!

Gavin Kirkland: Cage lifts the shoulder up!
Eve: Kelton doesn’t want to stop the offense. He is surprisingly quick to attack tonight as he gets Cage to his knees and smacks him in the face with fists but Cage throws some as well! Both men are throwing lunch punches at each other and Cage is getting the upper hand combining punches with knife edge chops rapidly! But a throat punch stops that rapidly by Kelton! Cage looks stunned by the hit trying to catch his breath as he hangs onto the ropes and Kelton observes his work with a malicious smirk!
Gavin Kirkland: OH SHIT!
Deadprez: Language?
Gavin Kirkland: Oh shut it!
Eve: CAGE JUST BITCH SLAPPED KELTON DARING HIM TO BRING IT!! Kelton isn’t stunned; he looks angry! Cage doesn’t seem to care as he throws in some offense in the form of punches and then goes to the ropes throwing Kelton right into an Inverted Neckbreaker Slam Cage calls it the Old School Expulsion! Kelton is down and Cage goes topside for a Diving Elbow Drop perfectly executed! He goes for a cover!
Referee: One! Two!
Gavin Kirkland: No!
Deadprez: Kelton lifts the shoulder!
Eve: Cage rolls his eyes and turns mounting on top of Kelton throwing some elbows and punches to Jon who ends up reversing and return the favor! Both men end up on their knees throwing fists and elbows at each other and then are fully on their feet now and Cage stops the proceedings with a knee to Kelton’s midsection! He wants to go for the Hook, Line & Sinker the Suplex rolled into a brainbuster on the knee! The suplex hits but the Brainbuster is countered by Kelton who lands behind Cage and he locks his hands in around the waist of Cage who is going for a ride! A German suplex! Followed by a second then a third which gets released with force into a corner turnbuckle!! Cage looks in trouble again against Kelton who is crouched in the opposite corner poised for an attack as he charges in for a corner SPE-NO!!! CAGE DODGED AND KELTON RAMS HIS SHOULDER IN THE POST!! Cage takes the opportunity to take Kelton down HE GOES FOR A CRIPPLER CROSSFACE! THE CROSSFACE ON KELTON! KELTON IS IN A WORLD OF TROUBLE AND PAIN NOW TRYING TO REACH THE ROPES BUT WAIT… Kelton is moving to his knees, Cage is still locked in the cross-KELTON SPRINGS HIMSELF TO HIS FEET WHICH POSITIONS CAGE ON HIS SHOULDERS!!
Gavin Kirkland: F5!!!
Deadprez: NO!
Eve: CAGE MANAGED TO TURN IT INTO A DDT!!! HIS HOLD WITH THE CROSSFACE GOT HIM IN THE PERFECT POSITION WITHOUT KELTON KNOWING!! CAGE WITH THE COVER!!

Deadprez: Kelton lifts the shoulder again!!
Eve: Cage looks annoyed he felt like he had this match won! We’ve had quite an interesting match tonight between these two veterans, clearly Kelton has been going out with a style and aggressivity that is rather surprising, to say the least!
Deadprez: I’m shocked, to be honest!
Eve: Cage now goes into the ropes but gets tripped by Londyn who pleads innocence! The official is giving her a warning while Cage is mouthing off t- KELTON WITH THE ROLLUP!! THE OFFICIAL MAKES THE COUNT!!

Gavin Kirkland: KELTON IS-

Gavin Kirkland: Cage just got screwed over by the referee there!
Deadprez: And he knows it! Look at his face in the corner shaking his head knowing he just lost to the man who probably scored one of the biggest victories of his career!
(Londyn raises Jon’s hand who a bit who stares a hole through Cage at the top of the ramp. Kelton looks proud of the tactics he pulled here tonight in order to get the win.)
Eve: Some very questionable tactics by Jon. The hell is going through his mind?
Gavin Kirkland: My guess is that he’s tired of losing, and he’s taking control, and I respect it. :notbad: He just picked up a win against a Hall of Famer, controversial or not.
Deadprez: Last thing you wanna do is piss off Cage, especially even more after what transpired at Under Siege.
(Cage kicks the bottom rope in frustration before the camera zooms in on Kelton and Londyn, and the scene fades to a commercial break with Kelton giving a sadistic and evil looking grin.)
(Commercial break with Dr. Bethany Blue advertising the COVID vaccines. Anti-vaxxers try to crash the party, but Bethany injects them before they can say anything.)
(The camera cuts to the locker room backstage where Lucas Johnson is seen sat down in a chair, before the door is heard opening.)
(Cage walks into the locker room and Lucas stands.)
Lucas Johnson: Cage, about what just happened to you out there–
Cage: Forget it. I’m not going to let it affect me going into Grand Rampage. I’m winning that fucking thing, and you my friend, are winning that Interwire Championship tonight.
(Lucas nods as Cage places a hand on his shoulder.)
Cage: Lucas, at Under Siege, you may have cost me my match but you also won yours, and I’m proud. But understand something, winning a number one contenders match doesn’t mean shit if you don’t actually go out there and win the title you’re contending for.
Lucas Johnson: Believe me, I understand every bit of what you’re saying. Tonight is a must win match for me, I got everybody watching and I’m looking to shut up those haters who are. I’m sick and tired of coming up short in these championship matches, and it’s time for a change. Because for years, I’ve had to hear people tearing me down at every which way, but not anymore. Because once I have that title, there is no denying my talent in between those ropes anymore, and I will have the privilege of rubbing that in each and every single person’s face.
Cage: You’re fired up, I like that. Trust me, that clown Ronan Malosi should stand no chance against you tonight. He may have beaten you in the past but that doesn’t matter. He hasn’t beaten THIS version of you, he hasn’t beaten the version of you that I took under my wing.
Lucas Johnson: And he WON’T beat this version of me, he’s cocky, he’s arrogant, and he’s bound to make a mistake out there. And you said it yourself, he’s a clown. He’s probably more worried about doing Hot Takes or hitting up my sloppy seconds rather than facing me in this matchup. He’s making a mistake by underestimating me and he won’t make it anymore after I knock those teeth down his throat.
(Cage slowly grows a devious smirk across his face, clearly impressed by the intensity and focus of Lucas Johnson tonight.)
Cage: Just what I like to hear, and after you beat Ronan Malosi, what are you gonna do?
Lucas Johnson: I’m gonna go on to Grand Rampage and beat whoever the fuck it is between Kensingten and Bronson. But to be honest, I’m hoping Bronson. He’s been running his mouth around here for far too long and one claymore kick to said mouth of his would do the trick perfectly in shutting him up.
Cage: Perfect, you seem to be focused, you seem to be prepared. Stay that way. Because remember, there’s a lot riding on this tonight. They aren’t just handing out opportunities at titles around here, you’ll never know when you get this platform again. (The camera fades into the office of Hurricane Hawk, the new Showdown General Manager. He takes a deep breath with his hands in his pockets just taking a look around the empty office, happy to be back in charge once more.)
(A knock is heard.)
Hurricane Hawk: It’s open.
(James Ranger walks through the door in his casual attire, Hawks sits on the empty desk behind him as he welcomes James into the office.)
Hurricane Hawk: James Ranger, what can I do for you?
James Ranger: First, congrats on being in charge of Showdown again, I’m glad that ego trip is gone.
Hurricane Hawk: Happy to be back.
James Ranger: I just want to let you know, that I am one of the hardest working men on thsi roster, and I promise you that I will go all out to show I am deserving of opportunities in the future. You always want to make a great first impression.
Hurricane Hawk: You for sure can tomorrow night in your match with Rex. I agree you have a lot of potential, but hardest working?
James Ranger: You heard me.
Hurricane Hawk: I’ve kept up with the product, and you seem like the guy who’s half here, and half not. You have all the pieces to be a success story here on Showdown, but it seems you don’t want to put the pieces together.
(James crosses his arms listening to Hawk.)
Hurricane Hawk: For example, you shocked the world at Reasonable Doubt. Something awoke inside of you that week, and what happened because of it? You won a ladder match with someone like Bronson inside of it. You carried that performance into Road to redemption, and you damn near shocked the world by nearly becoming Interwire Champion. You came so close, but you were told by everybody if you keep that consistency up, the sky was the limit for you…and well….
James Ranger: I know I’ve been a bit rocky since Road to Redemption, but that fire hasn’t been extinguished yet, and I feel energized and ready to go. It starts tomorrow night against Rex.It all starts one match at a time, and you won’t be disappointed and will be proud of having me on the roster.
Hurricane Hawk: Hmm, you want to make a statement, and you’re promising me your very best?
James Ranger: Correct.
Hurricane Hawk: The best match and place to prove yourself when everybody is counting you out.. The Grand Rampage match! You want to show me something and prove something to the entire world? This match is your chance, and it’s up to you with what you do with the opportunity.
James Ranger: Understood. I will happily accept the spot, and I will show in that match that James Ranger is one of the best rising stars this company has to offer!

Eve: Xavier Williams pops back up onto his feet and Consuela Rose Ava charges at him, BUT XAVIER DROPS HIS SHOULDER AND HOOKS CONSUELA BY THE ARM, TOSSING HER WITH AN ARM DRAG TAKEDOWN!
Gavin Kirkland: Now it’s Consuela Rose Ava who pops back up to her feet! Both of these competitors seem to have the other one well scouted and I can already see this competition coming down to a battle of attrition, but look at Consuela, she’s built like a goddess, I know she can last :lick:… I mean last in the match.
Deadprez: Right…? Anyway, Consuela and Xavier Williams are circling one another now, and it’s Xavier who engages this time, as he charges towards Consuela and knocks her down with a HUGE running crossbody! Xavier goes for the quick pin!

Deadprez: :will:… Consuela Rose Ava is in a bad position right now! Xavier has her locked in that camel clutch and her only option is to either tap out, pass out, or leave here tonight with some broken bones! Eve: Of course it’s something to be proud of, ‘Prez, anytime you beat a Hall of Famer, or any former World Champion it’s something to be proud of, Consuela Rose Ava is going to build off this victory, and who knows what the future holds for this future Hall of Famer!

(The scene fades to Dr. Bethany Blue backstage in her office. She has her typical lab coat, looking all doctoral and stuff, but you can see the scars and scratches on her face that she suffered during her unsanctioned match against Cage at Under Siege last weekend. Despite how she looks, there’s a part of her that feels livelier than she has had as of late. For one of the first times in a while, she feels pumped up and excited for how the rest of the season is going to pan out for her. She is looking at the camera with her brown eyes as the audience can totally feel the pumped up energy that she feels.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: It’s obvious that this entire season has not gone my way at all. Over time, people began to see the frustration and annoyance within the wrinkles on my face as the last person that you want to piss off is a Doctor. From having been put through complete hell with the situation with Chained Fury, seeing the love of my life being kidnapped and left for dead and then fired at King of Elite, I felt like my reason for being part of Showdown no longer existed. It left me going down a dark place in my life with no light at the end of this dark tunnel. Whenever I tried to resolve the situation like a grown ass woman, I was denied. I was left with nothing more than to suffer from the consequences of Alexis no longer being next to me on Showdown. I did what I needed to do and that’s continue walking forward as we head towards the end of the season, but that doesn’t mean that I was going to be coasting it. Oh no, I am still the same woman who deserves to be considered as top competition like Jack Ripley, Kassidy Heart and Consuelo Rose Ava and the thought that Ryan Wilson never considered me as someone who could be that was sad, but he really never had a vision for what was the best of this brand, but what was going to help him progress forward in his sad and pathetic career.
Dr. Bethany Blue: He saw me as a stepping stone and cannon fodder for an old timer like Cage who made a return and people are expecting him to return better than ever, but I wouldn’t know that for sure since he never once bothered to make an appointment with me, so I have no sort of medical files in position for him, but it seems like I didn’t need it at all. I stood face-to-face in the ring with one of the most cold and cunning men that this company had to offer and I defeated him. I left him a completely bloody mess. I made his triumphant return into something horrifying. I apologize to the children who had to watch my match last weekend, but I will be posting some good trauma therapists and doctors around the New Jersey area after this episode of Showdown concludes. It’s sad that Ryan Wilson made this match with Cage at Under Siege to see me LOSE once again. It almost seemed like he was taunting me from losing the same match against Kassidy at Road to Redemption, but I wasn’t going to allow that man to get the upper hand on me. I wasn’t going to allow him to be amused at me trying to walk into a match where he thought that Cage was going to rip me apart. Instead, I held my own against him and I brought in something that I do not believe he was ready for himself.
Dr. Bethany Blue: I never felt more alive than I did going into the war with Cage. Going up against him, it made me pumped up and ready to see how the end of the season goes for me. With Grand Rampage around the corner, I’m pumped up to see where I fit in with all of that. The blood around my face was unique to see as I was watching this match back, but I looked at myself and I smiled. I loved how I looked. As much of a health risk it is to wear the blood of you and your opponent, I never felt more alive. I never felt more optimistic about where things are headed to me. Am I a bit nervous? Of course, but I believe the excitement will overtake the nervousness that I have within me. Now, I’m out for blood. I’m out to prove that I can stand in the ring with the top stars in this company. I’m not the woman that should be facing the Bronson Daniels, Lucas Johnson’s and Strawberry Steves of this company. Put me in the ring with Jack Ripley, Consuela Rose Ava or Kassidy Heart and I can assure you that I will not disappoint anyone. That win was exactly what I needed to get this rocky season back on track.
Dr. Bethany Blue: But, I’m not done here yet. I feel like as we head towards the end of the season, I would get the closures that I need. That means, I am going to be getting rid of my issues with Ryan once and for all. Our new General Manager Mr. Hurricane Hawk announced me versus Ryan in a No Holds Barred match and honestly, I think that’s a wonderful match up. Ryan was the start of my issues and now, I plan to put an end to them and move onto bigger and better things. My eyes are on gold. I’m hungry to be a champion once again and I vow when this season is up, I will be a champion again. That’s not something that I would like to happen, but that’s something that I vow is going to happen. Bring your best, worst or whatever, but I will knock you down each and every time. It doesn’t matter how many times people try to keep me down, but I will rise above everyone and I will reign my vengeance on all of you.
(Dr. Bethany Blue stares intensely to the camera before it fades elsewhere.)
(The camera pans to the backstage interview area to show a visibly shocked Kyra Phillips with an EAW branded mic in hand.)
Kyra Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the man who was victorious a bit earlier on in the night against Cage…Jon Kelton, and of course, his associate…Londyn Zelaya.
(The camera widens out as both Jon and Londyn walk into frame.)
Kyra Phillips: First of all, Jon, congratulations over your big win tonight over a Hall of Famer like Ca-
Londyn Zelaya: Kyra, I know you’re looking for the scoop, I know you’re just doing your job around here and I can respect that. But right now, you’re not really here. I’d just much rather you hand that mic off to me.
(Londyn takes the mic out of Kyra’s hands as she walks away, leaving Londyn and Kelton to address the camera.)
Londyn Zelaya: Two weeks ago, I came on here and told everyone to not underestimate Jon Kelton. Last week at Under Siege, I said Jon Kelton was on the rise. And everyone thought I was stupid, everyone thought I was crazy, everyone thought I was making false promises. But no, in fact, I was making the exact opposite. And tonight does nothing but back up that statement. Because Jon Kelton now holds a win over Cage, a former EAW World Champion, Interwire Champion, Tag Team Champion, not to mention, an EAW Hall of Famer. And yeah, some people may wanna criticize the way Kelton won out there.
Jon Kelton: But remember, it doesn’t matter how I did it, it matters that I did it. Like it or not, you’re gonna look in the history books and you’re gonna notice that Jon Kelton beat Cage. :mjgrin:
Londyn Zelaya: And believe me, we’re gonna be adding on to that list of wins very, very soon. Because people need to realize, this isn’t the same Kelton that’s been around all season fourteen. Because while that Kelton was great, it’s already been blown out of the water. Because this Kelton is one that’s done with the games, this Kelton is one that’s on a revenge tour, this Kelton is one that gives zero fucks about any poor soul he steps into the ring with.
Jon Kelton: And I wanna thank Londyn for her help bringing this out of me..because it’s about damn time.
Londyn Zelaya: That’s right, because from now on, Jon Kelton just doesn’t care anymore. And you don’t wanna go to war with someone who cares less than you, I guarantee you that. Because this man is willing to do anything and everything now to secure that ‘W.’ And that’s dangerous to one person standing across the ring from him, that’ll be dangerous to 29 other people in the Grand Rampage match. :mjgrin:

Deadprez: NOT ANYMORE AS CAGE JUST DELIVERED A STRONG KICK TO THE RIBS AND MOUNTS KELTON WITH A STRONG FLURRY OF PUNCHES!
(Cage grabs Kelton by his shirt to deliver a message.)
Cage: THAT LITTLE WIN YOU’RE BRAGGING ABOUT WAS NOTHING SHORT OF A MISTAKE OUT THERE, DO YOU HEAR ME?! A MISTAKE, AND ONE I CAN PROMISE WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN! DO YOU HEAR ME, JON?! DO YOU HEAR ME?! This woman has been nothing but a thorn in the side of Daniels and tonight he aims to take her out.
Gavin Kirkland: Thorn in his side? How about thorn in her side? Bronson Daniels has been provoking Kensingten since her first night here, it’s not her fault she decided to stand up.
(“Hell on Heels” by Pistol Annies replaces the music of Bronson Daniels as Kensingten Calhoun-Astor makes her way out from behind the curtain to a largely negative reaction.)

Eve: Kensingten Calhoun-Astor has certainly been making an impression since she’s stepped foot here on Showdown, whether that be good or bad, I’ll leave that up to you. But she’s certainly been using this platform to get a name out there for herself.
Deadprez: And what a better way to make a name than to win the number one contendership to EAW Interwire Championship? This could be Kensingten’s moment to finally win some gold here in EAW after coming up short on a few occasions already.

Eve: It took wits indeed, and a little bit of timing to counter that the way Kensingten did. But speaking of Kensingten, she goes after Bronson Daniels on the outside. And things could be going from bad to worse as Kensingten plants Bronson down with a snap Suplex on the outside, and I can tell you, the padding there is very thin. Bronson has to be feeling every bit of that.
Deadprez: Yeah, but Kensingten is gonna look to make him feel far worse as she rolls him into the ring! Bronson is trying to get some form of wherewithal in a seated position before Kensingten comes in with STRONG kick to the back! Bronson Daniels is wincing in pain after that kick to the back, but still trying to get to his feet. Deadprez: Kensingten gets back to her feet after that, certainly haggard in this intense matchup, but she goes up to Bronson Daniels, who is sinked down into the corner after that belly to belly, seemingly looking to get some recovery there. But Kensingten has other plans as she stomps a mudhole into Daniels, some of those hitting him in the sternum, others catching him square in the head. Kensingten doesn’t seem to care where they hit, just that they hit and do damage.

Deadprez: Believe what you want to believe, but it ISN’T Kensingten’s win tonight, and you seem to be just about the only person in this arena or watching unhappy by this result. But the happiest man has to be Bronson Daniels, you have to imagine it feels nothing short of good to finally enact revenge over Kensingten Calhoun-Astor after all the hell she’s put him through over these past couple of weeks. And you have to imagine it feels good knowing he has an opportunity to secure some gold around his waist again.
Eve: Yeah, last time Daniels was champion was with the New Breed Title, something he held for 92 days. If you ask me, if Daniels was to win the Interwire Title, I think he could hold it for double that time.
Deadprez: Possibly, but nothing ever truly is for certain here in EAW, especially title wins. Ronan Malosi is no joke inside the ring and we certainly know he’ll go far lengths to keep that championship around his shoulder.

Kyra Phillips: Under Siege lived up to the expectations last weekend where we saw two new champions in Ronan Malosi and King Kass. We also saw the Ryan Wilson regime end thanks to Xavier Williams, but we also saw this one woman continue her moment from Shock Value by picking up a victory over former PURE Champion, Harlow Reichert. Now here to talk about Under Siege and what is next with her, ladies and gentlemen…Raven Roberts!
(Raven Roberts gets in the camera shot by standing next to Kyra Phillips. There is a new wave of confidence from the former Universal Women’s Champion. At Shock Value, she got her closure by defeating Minerva. At Under Siege, she kept the momentum up with getting a victory over Harlow Reichert. It seems like things are completely looking up for ‘The Bird of Prey’ and that nothing in this world can take her down.)
Kyra Phillips: Now, Raven, it’s been a wonderful two weeks from you as you got victories over two of EAW’s best back-to-back. I gotta know what’s on your mind at the moment? What are your emotions about all of this?
Raven Roberts: I’ve had two weeks to process Shock Value and the Barbed Wire Massacre match with Minerva. As I said, everything still hurts. I posted the photo on social media of my battle wounds and scars from the grueling match, but I accomplished my goal. My goal going into that Barbed Wire Massacre was never to kill Minerva. It might be strange coming out of my mouth because Minerva is the same woman who humiliated me. She exposed my personal life for the world to see. She got off on trying to ruin my marriage and life. She believed that she got the last laugh at Pain for Pride, but I swore that I would get my vengeance. I took matters into my own hands, I wasn’t going to let her cheat her way to another World Championship reign. At Shock Value, I did what I needed to do to her. No, I didn’t need to kill her. I didn’t need to end her career. I needed to humiliate her. I needed to show her the cruelest thing a woman like her could experience and that’s mercy. I could have gone on with the match longer than it did. This match could have gone all night if I wanted too, but I had Minerva in the state that she left me in — broken and beaten. The same emotions that I felt not so long ago.
Raven Roberts: As for the match with Harlow, I gave her my word. I would go into this match regardless of how hurt my body was. I didn’t want to pull any excuses and go back on my word. Despite how I may have looked after Shock Value, I didn’t want for Harlow to look at me and feel like she had the match in the bag. I’ve been through some of the most horrific things seen in this company and have come back stronger than ever. If you want an example of that, watch my Barbed Wire Massacre match with Minerva and just see that I am someone who refuses to stay down and die. Going forward, I hope that I’m able to carry on the momentum. I haven’t won a single match on Showdown since I’ve returned and I’m looking to change that. I was so determined to change that, I went to the new General Manager Hawk to be booked for a match, but he insisted that I take the night off, but that isn’t going to stop me from giving a warning out. Not just for the Showdown roster, but for every single Elitist in this company.
Kyra Phillips: And, what would that be exactly?
Raven Roberts: I’m so glad you asked, Kyra. At Under Siege, I declared myself for Grand Rampage. I defeated two of EAW’s best in back-to-back weeks, but I’m hungry for more. I’m hungry for that feeling to get back to the main event of Pain for Pride. I’ve accomplished almost everything that there needs to be accomplished. I’m a former Unified Tag Team Champion, New Breed Champion, Universal Women’s Champion, Cash in the Vault winner and a Pain for Pride main eventer and I’m just getting started. Now that Minerva’s in the past and I got the closure that I needed, I’m coming for the top spot I wasn’t ready to give up when I left. I already have a Hall of Fame resume and people will say that I don’t ‘need’ to win Grand Rampage, but I’m hungry for more — more accomplishments, success and gold, but Grand Rampage winner is the next thing I am added to my resume. I don’t care who it is — Cage, Drake King, Myles, my foe, Minerva, my Beating Hearts ‘sister’, Camille, my darling husband, Rex or whoever will be announced for this match in the upcoming weeks, they are going over the top rope and I’m going BACK to the main event of Pain for Pride.

( “Young and Bitter” by Hot Tag Media blasts through the speakers to a commotion of boos. Lucas Johnson steps onto the entranceway and responds to the boos with a smirk. Ever since he received the pep talk from Cage earlier, Johnson has been more concentrated than usual. He shadow boxes on the stage, poses, and gradually marches down the ramp. )
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST! From Long Island, New York, weighing in at 210 pounds. HE IS THE BLUEPRINT.. LUCAS JOHNSON!!!!
Deadprez: Not a lovely reaction from the crowd tonight for the emergence of Lucas Johnson, and rightfully so. Lucas Johnsonn ravaged through many of the fan-favourite heroes at Under Siege to get to this point, and he has made it clear that no matter if they’re a hero or a villain, Johnson will put them down. Ever since he aligned with Cage, Johnson’s intentions have been as clear as day and the ruthless aggression has allowed him to have some success.
Eve: Will tonight be the night where Lucas Johnson finally produces a successful blueprint to his career. Johnson has had some would say, a drought, when it comes to accomplishments for years now, and he earned this opportunity last week at Under Siege to face Ronan Malosi. He needs this opportunity more than ever, but it is going to be such a difficult task considering Ronan Malosi is hell-bent on proving himself as championship material. However, Johnson has been unstoppable ever since he joined forces with Cage. Under the tutelage of the defiant hall of famer, we have unarguably seen the best work to come out of The Wrestling Machine thus far.
( “Firestorm A” by Herman’s Langschwert, Wolfgang Killian echoes throughout the World 1 Theatre as the arena is packed with more and more boos. Ronan Malosi is entertained by the boos as he holds up the EAW Interwire Championship on the stage for the very first time. He continues to do so and continues to shove the victory into the faces of the crowd. )

Deadprez: While both the champion and challenger hail from Long Island, New York, this is still going to be rather an interesting clash of styles. Ronan Malosi is going to rely on his fresh strength and agility, while Johnson is going to see if he can maneuver around that size and girth with his strong style arsenal. This is yet another huge test for Johnson, but this match is a testimony whether Ronan Malosi is true championship material. He managed to defeat Justin Windgate at Under Siege, but can he pull another surprise victory? We’ll see.

Deadprez: This match is underway as Ronan Malosi and Lucas Johnson immediately engage in a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Both men have been itching and scratching to get their hands on each other the entire week and their tensions finally culminate. Malosi muscles Johnson into the corner, Johnson is able to turn the tides and lean him up against the ropes. The referee tries to separate them, but to no avail as Johnson quickly tries to Irish whip Malosi away. Malosi turns it around and sends Johnson into the ropes. Johnson comes off and into the hands of Malosi! MALOSI FOR A BACK BODY DROP!! JOHNSON IS ABLE TO GRAB HIS HEAD IN MID-AIR AND GETS HIM INTO THE GUILLOTINE CHOKE HOLD!! MALOSI IS SCRAMBLING IN THE RING AS HE GETS JOHNSON OVER THE TOP ROPE AND DEPOSITS HIM ONTO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR!!
Eve: Malosi nearly got choked out by Johnson, but he was able to use his surroundings to his advantage. Johnson took a devastating pitfall to the ringside floor as he slowly gets up to his feet. Malosi slides beneath the bottom rope, inserts himself out of the ring and makes his way around the ringpost. Johnson turns around and MALOSI CHARGES INTO HIM!! CLOTHESLINE!! JOHNSON DUCKS IT AND GRABS HIS HEAD FOR THE NECKBREAKER!! DENIED! Malosi turns him around and nails him with a forearm smash before turning him around, grabs him by the wrist and spins him around! RIPCORD RIGHT HOOK!!! Johnson ducks down and evades the hook. Johnson yanks him in by the wrist, and pulls him in for a NASTY RIGHT HOOK TO THE FACE!! Malosi lightly absorbs it as it doesn’t take long for him to absorb. The challenger looks up to the seething champion! MALOSI PULLS HIM!! BUT JOHNSON MANEUVERS AROUND AND DRIVES HIM INTO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR WITH A JUMPING NECKBREAKER!!’
Gavin Kirkland: DAMN!! NOT THE NECK!!! Johnson with a devastating maneuver onto the hard ringside floor! Ronan writhes in pain, grabbing his neck as Johnson now measures him up in the ringside area. The official is up to the count of four as Johnson steps forward and swings forth for a roundhouse kick! Malosi grabs his foot and spins him around! But, the momentum given to Johnson allows him to CONNECT WITH A SPINNING HEEL KICK DRIVEN INTO THE MIDSECTION OF THE INTERWIRE CHAMPION!! The champion backpedals towards the steel steps as the challenger climbs onto the apron. Johnson points his finger at him. He has him in his crosshairs! JOHNSON SPRINTS ACROSS THE APRON AND LEAPS OVERHEAD ONTO THE CHAMPION!! JUMPING KNEE STRIKE!! BUT MALOSI COUNTERS IT IN MID-AIR!! MALOSI CALCULATED IT AND GRABS HIM IN MID-AIR, SPINNING HIM AROUND AND DRIVING HIM ONTO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR WITH VERTIGO!! THE SPINNING SIDE SLAM CONNECTS AS MALOSI MAY HAVE TAKEN JOHNSON OUT FOR THE REST OF THIS MATCH ALREADY!! AND THIS MATCH BEGAN JUST A COUPLE OF MINUTES AGO!!
Deadprez: Johnson hasn’t moved a couple of inches since Malosi came through with the Vertigo slam on the outside floor and I am not surprised. Malosi brandishes a smirk on his face as he rolls in and out of the ring to reset the count. He grabs Johnson by the neck and gathers him onto his feet. Johnson tries to fight out of his clutch, but Malosi stuffs his knee into his midsection. Malosi might have this championship defence in the bag as he nails him with another knee to the midsection! Johnson is coughing in pain whereas Malosi grabs his tights and DRIVES HIM WITH AUTHORITY INTO THE BARRICADE!! GOD DAYUM!! AND HERE IS MALOSI AS HE RUNS BACK AND FORTH THROUGH THE RINGSIDE AREA AND CHARGES INTO THE CHALLENGER LIKE A MACK TRUCK!! THE HOT TAKE KING INCOMING!! AND HE TURNS THE CHALLENGER INSIDE OUT, FOLDING HIM LIKE AN ACCORDION WITH A LARIAT!!
Eve: NO!!! Johnson steps out of the way and throws himself out of harm’s way. Malosi was able to stop himself in his tracks, in the nick of time as he halted himself before he would crash shoulder first into the steel steps. Johnson is completely oblivious as Malosi emerges unfazed and grabs the back of his head. JOHNSON JUMPS DOWN, PRESSES BOTH FEET INTO THE CHEST OF MALOSI, AND LAUNCHES HIM INTO THE RINGPOST!! MALOSI BASICALLY GOT SPRINGED BACK-FIRST INTO THE STEEL STEPS AS HE NOW SLIDES IN PAIN!! Lucas Johnson was a smart way to get himself out of that sticky situation as he now uses the barricade to get up to his feet. This could be his time! It is now The Blueprint’s turn as he has most likely changed the complexion of this match. Johnson inserts himself in-and-out of the squared circle to reset the count while Malosi is still nursing that unprotected collision into the ringpost. He will continue to do so as JOHNSON JUMPS UP AND BLASTS HIS BACK WITH A MAMMOTH ROUNDHOUSE KICK!! DID YOU HEAR THAT!! A ROUNDHOUSE KICK HEARD AROUND THE WORLD AS JOHNSON TURNS HIM AROUND AND EXPLODES ONTO HIS CHEST WITH ANOTHER VOLATILE ROUNDHOUSE KICK, COURTESY OF THE WRESTLING MACHINE!!
Gavin Kirkland: Johnson continues to light up his chest before he starts to implement knife-edge chop! He lifts his hand up, leans Malosi against the barricade and DRIVES HIS HAND ACROSS THE CHEST OF THE CHAMPION!! Johnson with another chop! AND ANOTHER! AND ANOTHER!!! AND ANOTHER!!! Malosi is getting peppered with these slaps and Johnson spins him around and adds more flair to the final chop! A FINAL KNIFE-EDGE CH- WAIT!! MALOSI SNATCHES HIS HAND IN MID-AIR, DRIVES HIM INTO THE BARRICADE AND STARTS HAMMERING AWAY AT HIS HEAD WITH FOREARMS AFTER FOREARMS!! THIS IS TEXTBOOK HOT TAKE KING SHIT RIGHT HERE AS MALOSI IS ESSENTIALLY BASHING HIS HEAD IN WITH REPEATED FOREARMS TO THE HEAD!!! Johnson can’t defend himself as Malosi lifts his hand up, with theatrics, and BRINGS IT DOWN BACK ONTO THE SKULL OF THE WRESTLING MACHINE!! BUT JOHNSON IS ABLE TO GO UNDER AND HOOK HIS ARM!! AND USES THE MOMENTUM OF THE FOREARM SMASH TO SEND RONAN TOPPLING OVER THE BARRICADE!!
Deadprez: Brilliant counter by Johnson to escape that bombardment of forearm smashes. Ronan is somehow quickly able to use the barricade to emerge to his feet to the chagrin of the challenger. Johnson realizes this and comes off the steel steps! JOHNSON USED THE STEPS AS A TRAMPOLINE AND CLOBBERED THE REIGNING EAW INTERWIRE CHAMPION WITH A DEVASTATING LEAPING FOREARM SMASH!! RONAN MALOSI SPLATTERS ONTO THE CONCRETE FLOOR DEEPER INTO THE RINGSIDE AS JOHNSON NOW SHIFTS HIS ATTENTION BACK ONTO THE RING!! WHAT IS HE THINKING HERE!?!? Johnson steps onto the apron and gradually ascends his way to the top turnbuckle while Ronan is tracing his tracks behind the barricade. Lucas Johnson is standing on the top turnbuckle, risen like a phoenix as he is looking to go airborne. Look! He gets both of his feet planted onto the LED ringpost to attain more distance… WE ARE ABOUT TO SEE AIR JOHNSON!!! JOHNSON IS GOING TO LEAP OFF THAT RINGPOST!
Eve: NOPE!! Ronan Malosi finally notices him and immediately disperses into the limited crowd area. Johnson is disappointed, but not surprised as he steps off the ringpost and chases him into the crowd. Malosi is nonchalantly escaping into the crowd, taking his sweet dandy time as he looks at maskers in disgust. He nearly pries the masks off the several bystanders here on Saturday Night Showdown. Ronan Malosi is far too distracted by the task at hand, but by all means, if he gets counted out, the EAW Interwire Championship will remain attached to his name. Win-win situation! But, Lucas Johnson has no intentions whatsoever on letting the opportunity he earned at Under Siege slip away to such a finish! Johnson is briefly catching up to Ronan!
Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) YOU DON’T NEED YOUR MASK!! COVID IS A SCAM!! THE WHOLE GOVERNMENT IS TELLING YOU A L-
Gavin Kirkland: LUCAS JOHNSON TURNS HIM AROUND AND CLOBBERS HIM WITH A HAYMAKER PUNCH!! HOW DARE HE INTERRUPT THE INTERWIRE KING WHEN HE IS SPEAKING TO THE MASSES!! SOMEONE ARREST THIS MAN FOR INTERFERING WITH THE COURT!! THE HOT TAKE KING IS NOW SCRAMBLING AND RETREATING TOWARDS THE RINGSIDE FLOOR AS JOHNSON CONTINUES TO FORCE HIS HAND!! The challenger is dominating the champion thus far in this match as he now pulls Malosi back up to his feet. He turns him around, wraps arms around his waist and looks behind him.. Behind him is the barricade as JOHNSON STARTS HOISTING MALOSI UP INTO THE AIR!! NO WAY!! JOHNSON IS GOING TO SEND HIM CRASHING THROUGH THE BARRICADE WITH A DAMN GERMAN SUPLEX!! BUT CORBIN EMBEDS HIS FINGERNAILS INTO THE EYE SOCKET OF THE CHALLENGER!! THE CHALLENGER IS MOMENTARILY BLINDED!! Eve: JOHNSON MANAGES TO INSTINCTIVELY DUCK THE ELBOW, WRAP BOTH ARMS AROUND THE WAIST AND ATTEMPTS TO HOIST HIM UP!! NO WAY!! MALOSI GETS LAUNCHED INTO THE BARRICADE WITH AN OVERHEAD BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX!! STILL NOT ENOUGH!! Malosi sandwiches his skull with a bell clap as Johnson is stunned once again. Malosi takes a breather as Johnson is down on all fours, trying to gain conscience of where he is at. Malosi is taking his sweet time dispatching the Lucas Johnson problem, as he grabs Johnson and brags towards him. Malosi is belittling him here as he now grabs hi- WHAT THE?!?! JOHNSON PICKS THE CHAMPION UP INTO A FIREMAN’S CARRY!! AND HE SPRINTS WITH HIM!! THE POWER OF THE CHALLENGER!! AND BOTH GO CRASHING INTO THE BARRICADE WITH A DEATH VALLEY DRIVER OF SORTS!! JOHNSON LYING IT OUT ON THE LINE AS THE REFEREE BEGINS TO COUNT!!

Deadprez: This has been a hectic main event of a world champion thus far. Not to mention, these two have just undergone grueling high stake matches approximately a week ago at Under Siege!! Lucas Johnson has no intentions of winning this race as he needs Ronan Malosi in the ring in order to get that championship. Ronan is intentionally trying to get away from the ring, but Johnson is grabbing him and throws him into the ring. Ronan stumbles down and goes face-first into the apron instead! Malosi intentionally gets himself onto the floor as he knows that he can escape unscathed from this match via ring count. Malosi is fastly crawling, but he is stopped as JOHNSON LEAPS OFF THE APRON AND STOMPS HIM DOWN ONTO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD ONTO THE APRON!! THAT SURELY STOPPED MALOSI IN HIS TRACKS AS LUCAS JOHNSON SUCCESSFULLY INSERTS THE INTERWIRE CHAMPION BACK INTO THE RING… Johnson is now perched on the top turnbuckle. Malosi is laid out in the center of the ring! Johnson soars off the top turnbuckle and DRIVES THE TOP OF HIS KNEE INTO THE LOWER BACK OF MALOSI!! MALOSI SCREAMS IN PAIN AS JOHNSON TURNS HIM AROUND AND SITS ON HIM FOR THE PAIN!! HE GRABS BOTH LEGS FOR THE WIN!! THIS COULD BE IT!

Deadprez: AND JOHNSON IMMEDIATELY CONVERTS THE KICK-OUT INTO THE CROSS ARMBREAKER!! THE SECOND MALOSI SHOT HIS SHOULDER UP, JOHNSON TOOK ADVANTAGE AND HOOKED IT RIGHT INTO THE DANGEROUS ARMBAR!! If this keeps going on this longer, Ronan will either have to walk out of tonight as a one-handed champion, or not! It’s whether he taps out or not! But, I don’t believe Malosi has any intentions whatsoever on letting his championship reign perish on his first defense. Ronan had the monkey grip in at the first few seconds, but Johnson was able to kick through the defence and break the grip. However, Ronan has been able to gain ground, roll over and start to deadlift the challenger off the canvas and into the air! Johnson turns it into an arm triangle, but Ronan ignores it and continues to hold him up in the air in a powerbomb position.
Eve: The usual competitor would just launch them down, but Malosi has something different in mind. Malosi stumbles towards the ropes. Johnson insists on maintaining the triangle choke child as he notices his face going under the third rope. What the? MALOSI LIGHTLY FALLS BACKWARDS AND WHIPS LUCAS JOHNSON UPWARDS!! AND JOHNSON’S NECK GOES SNAPPING AGAINST THE BOTTOM OF THE TOP ROPE! JOHNSON IS GASPING FOR BREATH AS MALOSI IMMEDIATELY PICKS HIM UP AND GETS HIS NECK ONTO THE SECOND ROPE!! AND HE SNAPS HIS NECK ONTO THE SECOND ROPE YET AGAIN WITH WHAT IS CALLED THE GUILLOTINE!! MALOSI ROLLS HIM OVER AND PINS HIM BY THE SIDE, HOOKING BOTH LEGS IN THE PROCESS FOR A POSSIBLE CHAMPIONSHIP DEFENCE!! SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!!

Johnson is recuperating and it is more evident than ever, that he is not tough enough to parlay with The Hot Take King! NUF SAID!! Ronan approaches Johnson from behind and CLOBBERS HIM WITH A RIGHT HOOK TO THE FACE! Johnson is swaying side to side, back and forth on the apron. He is in a precarious position and he is about to be murdered as Malosi grabs the neck and HOISTS HIM UP INTO A CHOKESLAM!! OH NO!! A CHOKESLAM OFF THE APRON!! WAIT!! JOHNSON USES THE MOMENTUM TO CONNECT WITH A ROPE-ASSISTED ENZIGURI TO THE SIDE OF THE FACE!! DAMN!!
Deadprez: Malosi quickly lashes back! HE SWINGS FOR A LARIAT!! JOHNSON DUCKS IT AND RUNS BACK INTO ANOTHER CLOTHESLINE!! JOHNSON GRABS THE ARM, SLINGSHOTS OVER THE ROPE AND CONTINUES TO HOOK ONE ARM UP FROM BEHIND!! Malosi is handed the EAW Interwire Championship as he raises in the air and soaks in the atmosphere.)

Deadprez: Considering that these two individuals went through hell and back at Under Siege to get their respective victories, these two put each other to the absolute limit tonight! They started this match with damn pandemonium and continued the last stretch of the match even more. Lucas Johnson comes up short, but he has proven that the day he fulfills his prophecy is nearing soon! It is the only time Lucas Johnson is on top of the mountain and he nearly took Malosi’s spot.
Eve: He found a myriad of counters for the Death-Ro, but no matter how many times he had an answer for the Hot Take King, the efforts of the Wrestling Machine had to spill right in his face one time. Ronan connected with a beautiful counter, catching Lucas Johnson in mid-air as he was in motion for the Claymore Kick and driving him down with the Death-Ro. Ronan Malosi walks out of here still as your EAW Interwire Champion, but Malosi has a lot of things ahead of him! Congratulations to Ronan!

(It reopens to the inside of Kassidy Heart’s motorhome. Normally, she shares a space with her beloved Daddygawd, but since Reckless Wiring is taking place across the country tonight in Salt Lake City, Utah, Kassidy has been gifted with her own state-of-the-art luxury motorhome because Gawd forbid, she mingles with the peons of society. The camera sees the newly crowned Answers World Champion sitting at her vanity, surrounded by her team. They are putting the finishing touches on Kassidy’s hair and make-up, because she’s due out to the ring next. The Answers World Championship is sitting in her lap, and the conversation amongst her and her team seems to be light-hearted and joyful. Kassidy is seen constantly checking her phone and texting, no doubt conversing with her sexy husband, but she is joining in on the conversation as well and smiling a lot. Her make-up artist, Stasiana ‘Stasi’ MacAbee adds a touch of highlighter to Kassidy’s elegant cheekbones and declares the King of Elite to be camera ready.)
(Kassidy stands up from her chair and walks over to the full length mirror that is standing just off to the right. She looks every bit like the champion she is dressed in a white, limited edition forloveandlemons Love Story Slip Dress that has a bustier style bodice and sheer multi-tiered skirt made of delicate scalloped lace and sheer pin dot material, cheeky black panties that were visible thanks to the see-through nature of the dress, a fitted black leather jacket, and black, over the knee Louboutin stiletto boots. Her cropped blonde locks have been slicked back, as to not distract from her perfectly made-up face, and to cap off the look, Kassidy has a black leather choker wrapped around her neck that is secured in the front with a small, platinum and diamond padlock shaped like a “R”. Kassidy smiles at her flawless figure and smooths down the skirt of her dress before asking for her championship and her crown. The King of Elite crown is still something she insists on wearing because as far as she’s concerned, she’s King Kass forever. Her hair stylist, Emmanuel Julliard, fetches the crown from the purple velvet pillow it had been resting on and he places it on top of Kassidy’s head. Dasha Rybáriková, Kassidy’s personal attendant, is the one who had taken the Answers World Championship off of Kassidy’s lap so she could stand up and check her reflection, now hands it back to Kassidy. Kassidy smiles at the championship, finally having it in her hands, and she begins to make her exit from the motorhome.)

Gavin Kirkland: :blessed: :blessed: :blessed: SHE’S HERE! SHE’S FINALLY HERE! I have waited all night to see my King and champion and King Kass is finally coming out here to bless us with her presence!!! I can’t tell you how many times I have watched King Kass win the Answers World Championship but damn if I didn’t go through about six bottles of lotion and an entire collection of tube socks.
Eve: :whoa: Literally no one needs to know that. FOH.
Deadprez: Why not just watch King Kass’ victory and appreciate it for what it was? A month after making history and becoming the first ever female King of Elite winner, King Kass cashed in her crown on Jack Ripley and followed through on her season-long promise to become the Answers World Champion. Jack Ripley fought with honor last week to hang on to that belt, but in the end, it just wasn’t enough. King Kass was the better competitor and I would bet my entire salary that she is about to let us all know that.
(Kassidy has gotten into the ring and taken the microphone from Gina. Her music has faded out but the fans are still showing her respect for what she’s managed to do in what’s basically a two month period of time. An arrogant smirk spreads across Kassidy’s face and she raises up the microphone, a signal for the crowd to settle down.)
King Kass: Well, I called my shot last July back at the Draft Show despite being on injured reserve and here I am, less than a year later, holding the Answers World Championship just like I said I would. Jack Ripley wanted to talk his shit about how I wasn’t here to begin the season and even went as far as to call me a flop of a number one draft pick, but I wonder how he feels right now knowing he couldn’t successfully defend this belt against a so-called ‘flop’? It has to suck knowing that ‘DEDEDE’s whore’, a ‘copycat’, a ‘clout chaser’, and whatever else people want to label me as that isn’t the greatest of all time or King Kass, is the one standing at the top of Showdown with the Answers World Championship in her hands. I’m not surprised to be standing here right now holding this belt, because I never had any doubts about whether or not I would win it. I’ve always known that I would be celebrating my three-year EAW anniversary as a two-time world champion, and I’m pretty sure that I have more than secured my spot in the EAW Hall of Fame. You really can’t argue with my accomplishments, nor can you really say that I didn’t earn every single one of them through my own blood, sweat, tears, and hard work. At the end of the day, I’m the person who has to get inside the ring and bust her ass, and follow through on her promises, and that’s exactly what I have done every single time I have stepped into the ring. Even the rare occasions where I have lost, I have still given that ring and my opponents everything that I have inside of me, and I will continue to do so until the day I’m satisfied that my legacy will never be surpassed and step away from this sport. At 26, I’m far from done and all of you are going to be seeing me rule this company for many years to come.
(Kassidy pauses to give her words a chance to sink in. It’s obvious that she takes being world champion very seriously, and the fans respond positively to her. It’s become abundantly clear recently that Kassidy is a woman who is hellbent on making history and becoming the best that’s ever lived, and the amount of work she’s willing to put in in order to have that title is something that people can’t help but appreciate.)
King Kass: My whole season has been based around destroying my enemies and winning every match, winning King of Elite and finally getting my crown, winning the Answers World Championship, and of course, main eventing Pain for Pride.

King Kass: There is NOTHING that will stop me from getting the Pain for Pride main event I have been dreaming about since becoming Universal Women’s Champion back at Pain for Pride 12. I have been extremely transparent with my feelings on my own personal EAW journey, chronicling all my ups and downs, and admitting when I have been wrong. I have gone through a lot of changes, and all of them for the better, and even saying that, I’m still a work in progress. There’s still room for improvement mentally, physically, and emotionally, but I can say with the utmost confidence that I am ready to headline Pain for Pride. I’m ready to walk into SoFi Stadium and lay down my life in order to defend this championship. I have worked tirelessly to get myself in position to have a second world championship to my name, and I will happily knock down anyone who has the balls to step up to me. I know that Pain for Pride is still a few months away, and challengers are about to come out of the woods thinking they have what it takes to get the better of me. But we all know that as calculating as I am when I’m chasing something I want, I’m even more deadly when it comes to defending what’s mine. Jack wanted to try and twist my words and paint me as someone who’s indecisive and contradictory when I said I wanted competition but felt as if there’s no one capable of giving it to me, but clearly that went over his head. I know that I’m in another league that no one who’s currently in EAW can join. I am that good at what I do. I wish there was someone out there who could step up and actually challenge me, and force me to find an even higher level, but I know that’s never going to happen. It doesn’t mean that I can’t hope for that. I certainly don’t want this to be easy. I want to be challenged and pushed beyond my physical limits, because I want to test my own greatness.

Deadprez: Consuela has stated recently that she is looking to become a world champion. Her incredible Interwire Championship reign proved that she’s able to step up and she’s always been someone who’s taken on any challenge.
(The commentators continue to talk about Consuela and speculate about her motives as she gets into the ring. Meanwhile, Kassidy’s expression hasn’t changed. She’s not at all upset or angry at this turn of events. In fact, she actually seems a bit eager to see what Consuela is going to say. After all, the King and champion just promised to knock down anyone who gets in her way and threatens her championship reign, so having someone come out is exactly what Kassidy wants to see. Consuela asks for a microphone and finally comes face to face with the newly crowned champion. The two women exchange looks as Consuela’s music fades out.)
Consuela Rose Ava: I suppose congratulations are in order, although I don’t think anyone is surprised to see you standing here with the Answers World Championship. You have always been a woman of your word, and you said that the championship was going to be yours. I respect that, and I saw first hand during the King of Elite tournament how determined you were to win the crown and go after Jack’s title. I believe the match between the two of us could have gone either way, but I won’t make any excuses about my loss to you that night. I don’t even think Drake King is to blame, because the two of us handled him and never let him factor into the outcome. There was a clear winner that night, but that doesn’t mean I think you’re capable of beating me every single time.
(At that, Kassidy’s little smirk spreads into a full-blown smile because she obviously knows exactly where this is going.)
Consuela Rose Ava: I have more than come into my own this season, proving with every match that I am a future world champion. I haven’t always seen myself in this role, but after losing the Interwire Championship, several things became clear to me. I have always held myself back, and questioned whether or not I truly have what it takes to be a world champion and face of the company. My career has truly been something that’s been up and down, and has sometimes left me with more questions than answers. I have questioned if it’s worth it several times, and even after stepping away, I always found myself drawn back in because I think it’s obvious… it is worth it. I remember that when you were at one of your own personal low points, you said that you couldn’t bring yourself to walk away because you would have to live the rest of your life wondering ‘what if’, and I relate to that more than you will ever know. I never want to spend my life wondering what could have been simply because I was content and not willing to step outside of my comfort zone.
King Kass: That’s great. Truly inspiring stuff. That being said, just like in my personal life, I only want a baby. I don’t need all the labor pains and bullshit that comes with being pregnant so stop wasting my time and spit it out. What do you want?
Consuela Rose Ava: :mjgrin: I want to beat you at Grand Rampage and become the Answers World Champion.
King Kass: Of course you do. I’m sure the majority of this roster would love to beat me and derail my road to Pain for Pride, and by all means, Consuela, you are welcome to try. I just said I have no problems knocking down anyone who steps up and tries to keep me from main eventing Pain for Pride, so let’s go. I have been more than patient in my quest to become the Answers World Champion and now that I have this belt in my hands, I’m not about to let it go, so try me.
(A determined look crosses Consuela’s face and she nods her head. She is more than willing to try Kassidy and make her own goal of becoming a world champion a reality.)
Consuela Rose Ava: I’ll see you at Grand Rampage, King Kass. When all is said and done, at least you’ll still have that gorgeous crown of yours to wear around.
(Kassidy chuckles to herself and holds up the Answers World Championship. Consuela smiles and looks up at the belt, and that’s the final shot as Showdown fades to black.)
