(EAW intro plays.)
(A recap of last week’s episode of Friday Night Dynasty is shown, before the camera goes over to show the Madrid Arena in Madrid, Spain as the crowd roars in anticipation for the show to come. Pyro is seen erupting out of the stage as music is seen blaring through the speakers, and as the shot pans around, it lands directly on the commentary team as Stew-O, Flannery McCoy, and Jake Mercer are all seen standing by with smiles on their faces.)
Stew-O: We are less than two weeks away from the most-anticipated show of the season, Pain For Pride 18! Welcoming you all tonight to yet another jam-packed episode of FRIDAY NIGHT DYNASTY!
Flannery McCoy: And what a show that we have for you tonight as the road to Pain For Pride continues! Two 24/7 Battle Royal preview matches are set to be contested as Clayton Golde faces Showdown’s Sorn and Kai Rabeaux faces a returning Chiyo Gedo from Voltage! Jay Jerry Johnson faces Daniella Atlas! Joso faces Brian Daniels! And in our main event, we have a Champion versus Champion spectacle, with World Heavyweight Champion Cy Henderson facing off against Interwire Champion Chris Elite! This is going to be one that you’re not going to want to miss!
Jake Mercer: But enough about that! We have something TRUE, something REAL, happening right now, and that’s our most watched Champion! Let’s hear from IMPACT!
( “Still D.R.E” by Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre echoes throughout Madrid Arena in Madrid Spain, as it competes with the ear-deafening reaction to the EAW Hall of Famer. Impact steps out to the stage, looks out into the audience before making his way down to the ring. )
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentleman.. Please welcome.. EAW HALL OF FAMER… IMPACT!
Jake Mercer: There were some stones left unturned last week when Impact spent another week basking in the expense of King Drake Armstrong. It was two weeks ago where he made a return that no one was expecting, knocking out Armstrong, and in the next week, he stood tall while Armstrong was ushered out by security personnel. Tensions are heating up between these two, and it is only inevitable that they clash inside of that squared circle, but the only question is when and where.
Stew-O: It is only appropriate that Drake Armstrong and Impact settle their rivalry in Barcelona, but will either men give each other what they want? Armstrong is disgusted by the idea of entertaining the EAW legend, but the ego within him is definitely going to want to avenge the embarrassment he has endured recently. Meanwhile, Impact is actively looking to rectify the mistake in letting Drake Armstrong get the better of him back at Operation: Doomsday.
Flannery McCoy: Impact came back because Pain for Pride season was calling for him, but there is a good reason why Drake Armstrong is the man that he’s selected as a target upon his return.
( Impact stops standing the middle of the ring and is handed a microphone from the side. )
Impact: Pain for Pride is among us everybody, and as an event that is being dubbed as a miracle and masterpiece, there isn’t one of those without its illustrious artist, and I am sure everyone has been wondering where I fit in. The options get thinner as we get closer, but I have made it very obvious that I did not return at this part of the year with options weighing in my mind. As a matter of fact, I’ve only had a singular one in my mind, and it’s been one that’s been around for a while, and that is none other than Drake Armstrong.
( The crowd boos to the mention of Drake Armstrong. )
Impact: I have seen them all come and go in this business. I have seen all walks of life. I’ve experienced it all here in Elite Answers Wrestling, but I have never encountered anyone as stuck-up as Drake Armstrong. I knew it way back at Road to Redemption, and the belief was validated at Operation: Doomsday, and now I truly believe it. He is a stuck-up prick, and there’s proof in the fact that I am in the position where I have to call them out. Drake Armstrong, despite all of the victories he’s racked, and crowns he’s earned, hasn’t changed one bit. I look at something like his King of Elite accomplishment, and I am not moved because behind all of that glamour, likes a gutless and spineless coward who couldn’t even draw a single dime by his own accord.
Impact: There have been plenty of times in my career where I have allowed myself to get hung up about my shortcomings, but those were only temporary, because right after, I adapted. I’ve become synonymous with it–I wouldn’t be able to call myself a ten-time world champion if I didn’t endure those ups and downs, but while I was in solitude, it vexed me. It bothered me knowing that I allowed that bogus King of EAW to get a victory over me, and it bothered me even more knowing that staying away from this business wasn’t me, but rest not, these are fatal mistakes that will be rectified shortly.
Impact: There is no Pain for Pride without Impact. All of those monikers that you’ve championed it with; spectacle, pinnacle masterpiece, miracle, grandest stage of them all, showcase of the immortals, etcetera is only made true by my legend, and I will be in Barcelona to wrestle in a match. A match mandated by my greatness alone, and it will serve as the perfect opportunity for me to show Drake Armstrong that he is the one who needs to learn his place. He needs to learn that his claim to being the future is futile, because as long as Impact is here, he will serve as its heartbeats, as its life support, because Elite Answers Wrestling fails to be Elite Answers Wrestling without me and snot-nosed assholes like Drake Armstrong knows nothing about that. He needs to learn that squatting in my company doesn’t make it his empire, and AND THE LANDLORD HAS COME TO COLLECT WHAT HE IS OWED!
Impact: So, how about this! How about we cut out the middleman, and I collect it in person. So, I am going to give an opportunity for Drake Armstrong to drag his sorry ass out here, step up to my face, so I can give it straight to him!
( Impact puts the microphone down before looking directly towards the stage. He is expecting Drake Armstrong to answer his invitation to the ring, but it seems like it’s being ignored. )
Impact: Come on! Don’t make me come out there and drag you like the little pussy you are!
( Impact continues to focuses on the stage, but his invitation remains unanswered. )
Impact: Isn’t that a sha-
Drake Armstrong: SILENCE!
( Impact is interrupted by Drake Armstrong’s voice, but it isn’t him who he sees on the stage. A slew of knights march onto the stage, who conveniently surround the smug and self-centered King Drake Armstrong. Impact can’t help but smirk at this sight as he isn’t too surprised that Armstrong is insuring himself after the embarrassment he’s been subjected to in the past two weeks. )
Drake Armstrong: Impact… You’re wro–
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOO!!
Drake Armstrong: ..Impact.. You’re wrong–
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
( The boos intensify, muffling what Drake’s trying to say. )
Drake Armstrong: PIPE DOWN! YOUR KING IS SPEAKING!
Crowd: BOOO!!!!
Drake Armstrong: …You’re wrong, Impact! Not a single human being who inhabits this planet actually wondered where you were at a time like this. Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror lately? What human would take the time out of their hard-working day to ponder on the whereabouts of an ingrate and brute like yourself? You want to bludgeon my name with allegations about how I’ve remained constant, but here you are. It’s Impact, ladies and gentlemen, your renowned EAW Hall of Famer who has done it all in this industry! He has acquired world championships ten times over! He has vanquished all types of heroes and villains! He is truly what everyone aims to be in this sport, yet in the year of 2025, he can’t even secure a victory over the King of Elite Answers Wrestling.
Drake Armstrong: And it’s because you’ve been plagued by this mindset, about how you legitimately believe Elite Answers Wrestling is still in your domain. You’ve deceived yourself, and these people–
Impact: You want to talk about deception? You’ve been running around these past couple of months calling yourself a King, and yet you’re welcomed here in Madrid as if you’re a complete opposite. You may have been resilient enough to win that King of Elite tournament, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that everywhere you go, you are treated like you are in enemy territory. Tonight is no different, and tonight is another testament to the fact that you’re no King. Kings are idolized, they are cheered, they are put on a pedestal, they are loved by the masses, but judging by the reception here tonight, you’re far from one. The only people who have given you the treatment that you believe you deserve, are those Spirit Halloween knights, who let’s be honest, are only here because they’re on payroll. When they go home and take off their costumes, they feel what everyone here in Madrid, me included, and it’s the fact that YOU ARE A PHONY KING! AND I AM SICK AND TIRED OF SEEING IT!
Drake Armstrong: Heh. Such bold words uttered out of the mouth of somebody who is inferior to my talents. You’ve got confidence that could move mountains and divide oceans for a relic of the past. Can’t you practice humility for once and accept the factual truth, Impact? You’re an old dog desperately trying to learn new tricks. You have so desperately tried to prove that you can hang with the newest and brightest stars, and tell me what happened when you went toe-to-toe with the absolute best of them at Operation: Doomsday? You fell, and instead of being a man, and adapting like you claim to be so known to do, you tucked your tail in between your legs and ran.
Impact: I am sorry, did you say that I lost to the best of the newest stars at Operation: Doomsday?
Drake Armstrong: Affirmative!
Impact: I don’t remember facing Joso.
Drake Armstrong: Tha–
Impact: I also don’t remember being in the ring with Michael Machina.
Drake Armstrong: –
Impact: That’s the problem, isn’t it? You claim to be the best of the new era of elitists. But, despite your status as the King of Elite, when people think of that, you aren’t the first to come to mind, and I am here to remind you of that. You are supposedly the King, yet get treated like a wanted criminal. You are supposedly the best of the new era, yet nobody sees you on the starters. You might not even be considered as a sixth man, and that’s just pathetic, isn’t it? You aren’t even in the front. King of Elite, my ass.
Drake Armstrong: …You can say whatever you want. You can try and play to what these people want, but at the end of the day, the fact remains the same. I pummelled your fragile old body into the ground at Operation: Doomsday and left you in such a pitiful condition, that you couldn’t dare show your face. And now that you’ve seen me in all my glory, your eyes glisten with envy and jealousy, and you don’t want me to succeed anymore. I pity your unfortunate state, but no stress, because I fancy the opportunity that you’ve presented to me. But, realistically, I’ve got nothing to prove against you fool. I’ve already shown that I am superior to you, on this microphone, and inside that squared circle. It would be acceptable, especially as a King, for me to be the bigger man and brush off your childish antics. That is why..
Drake Armstrong: I refuse to submit to your indecency and afford you the opportunity to be in the same ring as your King.
Drake Armstrong: There will be no match at Pain for Pride, because TONIGHT, the legend of Impact DIE–
Jake Mercer: WHAT!! IMPACT JUST CLEARED THE WHOLE FRONTLINE OF KNIGHTS!!! DRAKE ARMSTRONG LOOKS LIKE HE’S JUST SEEN THE GHOST, AS I HAVE SEEN IT TOO, IMPACT WITH A TOPE SUICIDA!!
Stew-O: AND NOW! DRAKE ARMSTRONG IS URGENTLY DEMANDING HIS KNIGHTS TO TAKE CARE OF IMPACT AS HE GETS CLOSER TO HIM! Impact lays out a knight with a FIST OF FURY!! AND THEN HE GRABS ANOTHER KNIGHT AND FORCES HIM INTO THE BARRICADE!! A KNIGHT LEAPS RIGHT ONTO IMPACT!! RIGHT ONTO THE BACK OF THE EAW HALL OF FAMER!! THIS COULD BE IT!
Flannery McCoy: Impact is starting to be overwhelmed as a knight chokes him out on the back of his shoulders as it is supported by three other knights kicking and stomping away at the EAW Hall of Famer!
( Drake Armstrong’s look of worry is replaced by a bright smile to the sight of Impact being overwhelmed. Eventually, he gets closer to Impact, as he is being held down on his knees by the three knights. Armstrong puts his hands on his knees and starts trash talking. )
Drake Armstrong (off-mic): THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MESS WITH THE KING!! NEVER–
Jake Mercer: IMPACT JUST SPRANG UP TO HIS FEET AND PUSHED ALL THREE KNIGHTS OFF HIS SHOULDERS!! AND NOW ALL OF THE KNIGHTS ARE DOWN-AND-OUT!! AND DRAKE ARMSTRONG IS FACE-TO-FACE WITH IMPACT!
Flannery McCoy: AND DRAKE ARMSTRONG IS HIGH TAILING IT OUT OF HERE!! ARMSTRONG SPRINTS DOWN THE RAMP WITH IMPACT IN PURSUIT!!
Jake Mercer: AND IMPACT SLIDES INTO THE RING!! AND HE’S GOT ARMSTRON–
Stew-O: HALBERD FROM HELL!! IMPACT GETS SPLIT INTO TWO WITH THE SHOTGUN DROPKICK FROM ARMSTRONG!! AND HE IS DOWN!
Flannery McCoy: DRAKE ARMSTRONG SEEMINGLY SUCKERED IMPACT INTO THE RING!! AND HE JUST SHOT HIM WITH THE HALBERD FROM HELL!! AND IT DROVE THE WIND OUT OF THE BODY OF THE HALL OF FAMER! AND IMPACT CAN’T GET UP!!
Jake Mercer: THE KING IS GRINNING FROM SIDE TO SIDE!! AS HE’S GOT THE EAW HALL OF FAMER VULNERABLE! Impact is seated now, holding his ribs in pain, but it seems like THE KING ISN’T GOING TO LET HIM ANY FURTHER!
Stew-O: AND DRAKE ARMSTRONG PLUCKS IMPACT OF THE GROUND! DEADLIFTING HIM INTO THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER POSITION!!
Flannery McCoy: AND DRILLS HIM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!! WITH THE DEATH PENALTY!!
Jake Mercer: AND WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT! IMPACT WAS GOING TO HAND HIM HIS EVICTION NOTICE!! BUT IT LOOKS LIKE, DRAKE HAS SERVED HIM HIS OWN, IN FORM OF A DEATH PENALTY!!
Flannery McCoy: DRAKE ARMSTRONG STANDS TALL! AND I KNOW HE’S BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT!!
( Drake Armstrong remains kneeled over the unconscious Impact, smug as can be. )
(A commercial plays for Voltage’s Beach Brawl, taking place this Sunday, June 8th! Don’t miss it!)
(As Dynasty would come back on air, we would see 2 individuals stood in a room, those individuals being none other than: Kai Rabeaux and Clayton Golde. Kai and Clayton stood in the office of Richard and Kensingten, and you could tell they were dispelling a hefty amount of approval.)
Kai Rabeaux: So, the 24/7 Battle Royal, I have heard of how it works, but I spent a little bit extra time really putting into motion, the full operation of it. I believe that I have perfectly laid out the foundation, and going for the victory will be fun.
Clayton Golde: Fortunately for me, this isn’t even my first rodeo. I have seen how this operation works, and I have participated in it all the same before, I can win this match, and fix mistakes that have happened over my years in EAW. This is perfect breeding grounds for me, my success can be in an instant.
(Clayton nodded his head, as Kai looked at him and shrugged.)
Richard Grant: I am glad that you guys are enthusiastic about the challenge that presents itself ahead of you!
Kensingten Calhoun-Aster: The best thing about Pain For Pride, is that when you finally get past the first point, and you can feel that security of knowing, and no longer have to fear being left off— you can be the best possible version of yourself.
(And then suddenly, the door shot open as someone else would walk into the room.)
Clayton Golde: Yo, I have a question right now..
(Clayton looked at the office filled with people, did he interrupt something? Ah, who cares.)
Cosmo Goldworthy: Why the helly am I not in any of these 24/7 previews? Did I fuck up real bad or something, am I chopped off Pain For Pride?
(Cosmo showed immense amount of concern, as he shrugged his shoulders.)
Kai Rabeaux: Yeah, how did you even get in the building, heard you got fired? :mjlol:
Cosmo Goldworthy: If you don’t shut your bitchass up right now, looking at you two, none of yall are capable of running this match the way I am. As far as I am concerned, I should be the ONLY Dynasty representative in that match. I am telling you right now, I am being robbed beyond belief.
David Gideon Smith: I don’t know.
(David Gideon Smith appeared in the doorway, as he had his arm rested against the door.)
David Gideon Smith: I think all of us are hoping for an opportunity, but only a select few are going to garner that. How worthy… is Goldworthy?
Richard Grant: Guys, it’s getting a little bit crowded in here….
Kensingten Calhoun-Aster: You think?
(Clayton laughed as he saw David, pointing at him and rolling his eyes.)
Clayton Golde: Who is this dude? He trotted in here with his “mysterious aura” and thinks we’ll care? Bro, sorry but the gigachad costume contest is the next door over!
David Gideon Smith: You are…. a fool.
Kai Rabeaux: Damn!!!!!!
(Cosmo and Kai were reacting with immense instigation, as Cosmo put his hands on his head.)
Cosmo Goldworthy: You really going to let him talk you down like that, Clayton?
(Clayton was offended, as he looked at David, getting in his face.)
Clayton Golde: Do you really wanna say that to me again, huh?
Richard Grant: Alright, alright! Let’s all be the professionals that we oh so can be in here! Calm down.
Kensingten Calhoun-Aster: Anyone that throws a hand will see an immediate suspension to go along with it!
Richard Grant: And besides, if you all want to start something you don’t know if you can finish, well sweethearts, you can turn those frowns upside down. Because you ALL will be competing in the 24/7 Battle Royal this year!
(Everyone in the room had their own unique reaction, Cosmo was hyped, David gave a simple nod, Kai and Clayton watched as the field only got larger..)
Cosmo Goldworthy: Glad we could do that business, Pain For Pride about to be a movie.
Clayton Golde: Kind of crazy how we just let any show stealing parasites into a match. Next year it’s going to be a who’s who of unemployed Elitists in the match!
(Clayton was pissed, as he left the room annoyed that the spotlight was stolen.)
Kai Rabeaux: Hey, you know something? I am excited. The bigger the field the less there are excuses, I hope it was worth it for the two of you to clamor the way you did in order to get into the match. But at the end of the day, you two are going to succumb to me.
David Gideon Smith: Huh, a Pain For Pride match so soon…? Guess it’s a great start. I’ll see what you can do, Kai. But, at the end of the day, it’s down to the last man standing. And I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure that I, am the last man standing.
(David Gideon Smith spoke with intentions of being victorious, as Richard Grant and Kensingten Calhoun-Aster witnessed their room swiftly narrowing out.)
Richard Grant: Alright everyone, good going guys. You all have something big to look towards, but.. shew on now, go prepare for your match!
Kensingten Calhoun-Aster: Good luck everyone!
(The room emptied out quickly from there, as Dynasty would quickly go back to the arena where the preview match of Clayton vs. Sorn was going on!)
Stew-O: This match gets more and more interesting by the minute, an EAW tradition, I can’t wait to see who comes out of it victorious!
Flannery McCoy: The Dynasty field has a lot of thought and effort put behind it, I think that it could be just about anybody’s game!
Jake Mercer: I think this match right now will be hugely telling, Clayton Golde knows what he’s doing, I am willing to put money right there on him! This is a big match for him, win this and all the momentum goes in your favor!
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘VKL’ by Rain hits the speakers and Sorn makes his way out from the back, tagging a couple of fans on his way down the ramp and into the ring. He slides in, climbing the middle rope and throwing his arms out, posing.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Osaka, Japan, weighing in at 167 pounds… he is “THE FUTURE ACE” SOOOORRRRNNNNN!
(Betty (Get Money)!’ by Yung Gravy begins playing and it immediately prompts nothing but boos from the crowd, as Clayton Golde charges out with his paid valet and gold smoke filling the stage. Golde berates the booing fans, and makes his way down to the ring.)
Stephie Love: His opponent, from An Undisclosed Location in Romania, weighing in at 210 pounds… He is “THE GOSPEL” CLAYTTTOOONNN! GOOOLLLDDDEEEEEE!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stew-O: The action begins and Clayton Golde immediately marches to the center of the ring, getting in Sorn’s face, for whatever reason… and he’s talking trash to him. This is quite the beginning to this match, to say the least.
Clayton Golde: (off-mic) Your five minutes of fame starts now, kid! Do me a favor, don’t even bother showing up to Pain For Pride. I’m gonna whoop your ass and send you back to Sh-
Jake Mercer: AND SORN CRACKS HIM WITH A FOREARM! Didn’t end how Golde wanted it to! He goes down hard, holding his jaw in agony! He rolls over and scrambles up to his feet, swinging for the fences! Sorn ducks under and he floors Clayton with a chest kick! Clayton rolls over and Sorn drops him with another one! Golde rolls away, holding at his chest, wheezing out in pain. And Sorn drags him up and starts throwing forearms at him!
Flannery McCoy: Golde falls back, getting under the top rope! The referee has to come in and intervene before things get out of order—but as he’s trying to enforce a clean break, Golde rakes the eyes! Sorn staggers back, holding at his eyes in agony! And Clayton dips under the rope, popping him with a punch to the jaw. Sorn falls over, wheezing out in pain. The referee warns Golde, questioning what happened—but of course he pleads innocence.
Stew-O: Clayton drags Sorn up and lifts him by the head, tossing him with a gourdbuster on the top rope. Sorn goes ribs first and Clayton hits off the ropes parallel to Sorn, charging into a RUNNING NECKBREAKER OFF THE ROPES ONTO THE CANVAS! Sorn sits up, holding the side of his neck in agony! He winces, and Clayton throws him down onto his back and hooks the legs.
OOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE–
Jake Mercer: Kick out by Sorn! Clayton follows up with a tight side headlock, but Sorn won’t stay out of it that easily. He slowly brings himself up, gritting his teeth. Sorn wraps his hands around the head of Clayton and drops into a powerful jawbreaker! Clayton’s jaw smashes into the shoulder of Sorn and he falls into the turnbuckles, groaning. Sorn rolls to his feet and runs into a step-up high knee! Sorn takes Clayton’s wrist for an irish whip, but Clayton counters it!
Flannery McCoy: Golde comes off the ropes with a clothesline in mind, but Sorn captures the arm and spins out, trying for a backslide pinfall! Golde spins free, shoving Sorn shoulder-first into the ring post! Sorn staggers out, holding at his shoulder in agony. Clayton kicks him in the gut and jams his head into his thighs, lifting him up for a POWERBOMB in the center of the ring! Clayton stumbles away, but the damage has been done, Sorn is laid out!
Stew-O: He drags Sorn up to his feet, a big grin on his face. Clayton stuffs Sorn’s head into his thighs and extends his arms out, embracing the boos from the crowd. Clayton sticks his tongue out, doing whatever he can to antagonize the fans.
Clayton Golde: (off-mic) BASK IT IN, VIRGINS!
Jake Mercer: Great language by Clayton as he lifts Sorn up—NO! BACK BODY DROP FROM SORN THIS TIME! Clayton’s back hits the canvas hard! He rolls over, trying to work his way back up, but Sorn is already hitting off the ropes as he sends Clayton blasting back with a dropkick to the chest! He rises, and Sorn is there with a dropkick to the side of the head this time! Strong start for Sorn, as he’s got Clayton reeling!
Stew-O: He follows Clayton up to his feet and kicks him in the gut. Sorn hooks the head and lifts him up high in the air, trying for a fisherman’s—no! Clayton slips behind Sorn and once again, he rakes the eyes! Sorn yells out in agony and Clayton quickly lifts him up for a back suplex. Sorn gets slammed hard on the canvas and Golde quickly rises to his feet, approaching the turnbuckles.
Flannery McCoy: Despite Sorn’s attempts to really reel this match into his favor, Clayton continues to bend the rules and find ways to take the advantage. He pushes up to the middle rope, standing tall. He looks down at Sorn who’s still laid out on the floor, and he launches his body off the middle rope with a DIVING LEGDROP! RIGHT ACROSS THE THROAT! SORN GETS HURT EVEN MORE, AND CLAYTON HOOKS THE LEGS!
OOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW—
Jake Mercer: KICK OUT FROM SORN! Not even a two count, though the referee’s hand got close to hitting it! Clayton looks down at him with a look of irritation across his face. He drags Sorn up and hooks an arm under his armpit. He points to the turnbuckles, looking to take him out with ‘THE 304!’ HIP TOSS INTO THE TURNBUCK—NO! SORN SPINS IT AND SENDS CLAYTON FACE-FIRST INTO THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE! Golde bounces off, holding his jaw in agony!
Flannery McCoy: Now there’s an opening for Sorn! He hooks his arms underneath Clayton, locking in a full nelson. AND HE SPIKES HIM ON THE BACK OF HIS HEAD! DRAGON SUPLEX! Clayton’s body goes skidding backwards off of the impact and he rolls away towards the turnbuckles, unaware of what’s just hit him! He holds his head, trying to recover using the ropes as assistance…
Stew-O: But here comes Sorn, with a corner european uppercut! He grabs Clayton and throws him out of the corner, and Golde falls to his knees. Sorn steps out to the apron and he grabs the top rope, watching Clayton slowly recover. Sorn springboards up, and he flies off the ropes with a SPRINGBOARD HURRICANRANA! HE FOLLOWS UP WITH A COVER RIGHT AFTER!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Flannery McCoy: Only for Golde to get a shoulder up! But that was a very close call! Sorn isn’t done yet, he sees Golde roll out of the ring for safety. Sorn rises to his feet and raises his fist up in the air. He pumps it and quickly hits off the ropes, going as fast as he possibly can! Meanwhile Clayton is slowly rising outside the ring… and here comes Sorn! SUICIDE DIVE TAKES HIM DOWN! CLAYTON GOES CRASHING INTO THE BARRICADE! Sorn has taken complete control
of.this one!
Stew-O: Sorn drags Clayton up and throws him into the ring. He hops up on the apron, making his way up to the top rope! Golde is still down, and Sorn launches himself off the top rope! SHOOTING STAR PRESS! RIGHT TO THE RIBS OF GOLDE! AND SORN HOOKS THE LEGS FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
TTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHH—
Jake Mercer: GOLDE GRABS THE BOTTOM ROPE! That was close to victory for Sorn, but he was just too close to the ropes! He sits up, shaking his head as the referee tells him that was a rope break. He slowly makes his way up to his feet, looking down at Golde who’s still nursing his ribs in pain.
Flannery McCoy: Sorn slowly rises, trying to pull Clayton up to his feet. He leans the head down, ready to take advantage—but Golde runs Sorn into the turnbuckles! Sorn staggers out of the corner, holding onto his back in pain. Clayton holds onto Sorn and hoists him up, for a northern lights suplex! Golde sits up and flexes his muscles, prompting even more boos from the crowd. Sorn wheezes, staring up at the ceiling in pain.
Stew-O: Clayton rises with Sorn in his grip, and he forced him up for a second northern lights suplex! Clayton doesn’t release this time, and he rolls over for a third one—but Sorn stalls the grip. Instead, he holds Golde’s head in a front facelock. He lifts him up! SUPLEX! Roll through! A SECOND SUPLEX! THE TWO AMIGOS LANDS!
Jake Mercer: Golde has no idea what just hit him! Sorn rolls over, slapping the mat. He crawls to the ropes and makes his way out the ring. Perhaps he’s looking for another Shooting Star Press to try and win this one! But as he’s headed to the top rope, Clayton rises to his feet and decks him with an elbow to the jaw! He climbs up with Sorn, and throws clubbing blows to the back! Sorn forearms Clayton down!
Stew-O: Sorn dives off the top rope, but Clayton moves out of the way and rakes his eyes! ‘DEMONITIZED!’ THE STANDING DISCUS ELBOW DROPS HIM! HE’S OUT OF IT! And Golde falls back, hooking the legs!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
TTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEE—
Jake Mercer: BUT SORN BARELY GETS A SHOULDER UP! How long can he stay in this one though?! That elbow rocked him! Clayton rises up to his feet, ready to wrap this one up.
Stew-O: He drags him up by the head and slowly turns into a neckbreaker position, trying for C’EST LA VIE! HE LEAPS DOWN AND SNAPS SORN’S—
Flannery McCoy: BACKSLIDE FROM SORN! NO! GOLDE ROLLS THROUGH! HE LIFTS SORN UP IN POWERBOMB POSITION, AND TOSSES HIM OUT INTO FALLAWAY SLAM POSITION! ‘THE GOLDE PILL!’
Jake Mercer: FLATTENED! Clayton rolls Sorn over and hooks the legs for the win!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
TTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner of this match, CLAYTON! GOLDE!
(Clayton rolls off of Sorn, pumping his fist. The referee takes his arm and raises it up. Sorn rolls over, still reeling from the loss.)
Stew-O: And that’s another win for Clayton Golde! Sorn tried to make a great showing for himself as part of Showdown, but it didn’t end so well.
(The Friday Night Dynasty video feed shifted over to a wide-shot of the audience before ‘I2I’ by Magnolia Park began blaring through the speakers to a loud reaction as Fire and Ice’s entrance video lit up the titantron; Raven Roberts and Rex McAllister marched out from behind the stage curtains with determined expressions on both of their faces. They began storming their way down the ramp towards the ring with purpose.)
Stephie Love: Please welcome at this time… FIRE! AND! ICE!
Stew-O: Well, we saw what happened when the three premier tag teams of Elite Answers Wrestling all met face to face on last week’s episode of Friday Night Showdown! Frustrations being aired out, intentions being declared, and it’s clear that the only way that this can all end is through violence!
Flannery McCoy: Fire and Ice, Elysium, and the British Invasion all covet the position of THE tag team in Elite Answers Wrestling, and at the moment that title is held by British Invasion through the tag team championships; however, Fire and Ice showed at Fighting Spirit that British Invasion’s dominance may not be as unstoppable as it may seem, and with Elysium being thrown into the mix, it’s sure to be a ton of chaos in determining the champions to head into the next season!
Jake Mercer: With Rex and Raven on their way down to the ring to air out their thoughts after the clash last week with their foes, it’ll be interesting to hear their thoughts as we inch closer and closer to the biggest show of the year!
(Rex and Raven get into the ring and grab some microphones from the ringside staff, before raising them up and beginning to speak.)
Raven Roberts: Last week went about as you’d expect; on Dynasty, Fire and Ice showed off that we are as dominant as ever, and that’s something that has been the case nearly every time that Rex and I have teamed up with each other. From our very first run as a tag team to present day, Fire and Ice has been one of the best tag teams in the history of this business; not only are Rex and I individually former world champions, but our synergy in the ring is UNMATCHED. So it shouldn’t come to much of a surprise that, when we showed up to Friday Night Showdown, the only way that the tag team champions were able to get an upper hand on us was with that bitch sucker punching me to start the brawl.
Rex McAllister: Whatever they do to try to posture and present themselves as the greatest tag team won’t matter once we take aim for the gold at Pain for Pride and finish what should have ended at Fighting Spirit. There won’t be any other team running in to save the day like what happened with Jon Kelton at Fighting Spirit; at Pain for Pride, the world is going to see Fire and Ice at our best, with nowhere for the other teams to be able to run or ask for help.
Raven Roberts: So please, if you want to keep talking, feel free to go ahead! Elysium has been going through it all season, so we all understand if you need to do some damage control to try to save face; Kelton wasn’t able to win the world championship himself, so he decided to screw with OUR title shot just to feel like he can actually influence the ending of a title match! Did all that gold you don’t have make you feel like less of a man? Felt like you needed something to be able to puff your little chest out to Pandora at the end of the day? We don’t give a damn about the romantic dramas going on over at Showdown because we are COMPETITORS above all else, and that prioritization is going to be seen perfectly clear at Pain for Pride when we out-compete both of the lovebird’s teams and show why Rex and I are the best tag team in the world today.
Rex McAllister: As far as I’m concerned, we already showed the world that fact when we had the tag team champions beaten; how they still have the audacity and the shamelessness to continue this discount Jaded Hearts act and pretend they’re the greatest of all time is beyond me, but after a season of dealing with nonsense, my patience has worn thin for the type of antics that surround both the British Invasion and Elysium. I’m not going to let anything that they do stop me from achieving my goals alongside the love of my life.
Raven Roberts: We WILL win at Pain for Pride. That’s just how it goes. Fire and Ice will not be denied everything that we have worked hard towards this season. All of the blood, sweat, and tears that we have invested week after week to scratch and claw our way back towards the tag team championships cannot and WILL not go to waste; we owe it to ourselves and all of our effort to make sure of that. Fire and Ice reunited with the promise that we would march into the next season with gold around our wastes, back on top of the game where we belong, with nobody that can question our status. We aren’t going to let those two teams try and tell us anything else.
Rex McAllister: And we definitely aren’t going to allow ourselves to be turned into a third wheel for some soap opera between Elysium and British Invasion, especially considering that the four of them have been in cahoots with each other; as a matter of fact, even that grouping has started showing cracks in recent times. Why is that? Because with the spirit of competition, groups like that just can’t last; the drive to be the best fills the mind and the heart, and that’s how you end up with lover fighting lover. Raven and I are a united front with the same goal, so you won’t be seeing any dissension between us or any hesitation to help the other out; Elysium and British Invasion just won’t be able to match up to what we have to offer with the type of team that we are.
Raven Roberts: In two weeks at Pain for Pride, Fire and Ice is going to end up getting the last laugh; that couldn’t be any sweeter for us than it already is, being able to achieve the dream we set out for not just side by side, but on the biggest stage of them all. Pain for Pride is going to be a monument to our love, passion, and ambition; our union has stood the test of time and is just as strong now as it was when it started. We are husband and wife, standing side by side through thick and thin, and no amount of British partnership or brothers-in-arms that only started their brotherhood this season is going to withstand the pressure that we bring.
Raven Roberts: It only ends one way.
Raven Roberts: With the gold around our waists!
(‘I2I’ by Magnolia Park began blaring through the speakers once again as Rex and Raven performed the title gesture around their wastes simultaneously, with the crowd roaring with cheers at their bravado.)
Stew-O: Some strong words there by Rex McAllister and Raven Roberts!
Flannery McCoy: When you hear them, not just the conviction they talk with but also what they’re actually saying, it becomes harder and harder to root against them at Pain for Pride; you can’t deny that they have been united for far longer than either of the other two teams, and their partnership goes far beyond the ring at this point!
Jake Mercer: Combine that with the performance they had at Fighting Spirit and the dominance they have shown as a tag team all season long, and you’ve got a MAJOR threat for both Elysium and British Invasion’s dreams of entering the next season as the tag team champions!
Stew-O: The clock is ticking, and Pain for Pride is closer than ever; we’ll see if Fire and Ice will be able to back up their words tonight and fulfill their goals at Pain for Pride against a VERY determined Elysium and British Invasion!
(The video feed lingered on Fire and Ice as they exited the ring and began making their way back up the ramp, before fading to black.)
Flannery McCoy: Say what you want about Clayton, but he knows how to pick up wins in situations like this.
Jake Mercer: And now we see how he fares in the 24/7 Battle Royal at Pain For Pride! Congrats to Clayton for the win tonight!
(A commercial plays for Pain for Pride, highlighting the annual 24/7 battle royal. With SOSA Henderson winning the match last year and becoming grand slam champion after using the contract to win the National Elite Championship, which Elitist will be able to go through similar fortunes themselves? Find out in two weeks!)
Stephie Love: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(“Red Criminal” by Oral Cigarettes began blaring through the speakers to a mixed reaction as Chiyo Gedo marched out from behind the stage curtains with a solemn expression plastered across his face. He made his way down the ramp towards the ring, solely focused on the squared circle.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST! Hailing from Osaka, Japan, weighing in at 220 pounds… he is THE UNCHAINED, CHIIIIIIIYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Stew-O: A hearty welcome back to in-ring competition for Chiyo Gedo! The man who now claims he is unchained returns to the squared circle after a brief hiatus, and now that he is back he intends to prove all of the doubters and the naysayers wrong by improving himself to become greater than he ever was before!
Flannery McCoy: With Pain for Pride just around the corner, he has the opportunity to accomplish exactly that in the 24/7 Battle Royale, a match KNOWN for being a platform off of which rising stars get to make their name and elevate themselves up the card into the highest echelons of Elite Answers Wrestling!
Jake Mercer: We’ve seen great examples of that the past two years, with wrestlers from the 24/7 battle royale going on to win world championships, national elite championships, hardcore championships, interwire championships, and new breed championships! For any wrestler that is able to show the world their value on the biggest stage of them all, it can be the key to a new career arc; with that being said, you know that Chiyo’s opponent is going to be focused to do the same!
(‘Burn in My Light’ by Mercy Drive began blaring through the speakers to loud boos as Kai Rabeaux strutted out to the center of the stage with an unbelievably narcissistic expression; he struck a confident pose before slowly sauntering down the ramp towards the ring, basking in the negative reception as he looked down upon both the members of the crowd and his opponent.)
Stephie Love: AND HIS OPPONENT! Hailing from New York City, New York, weighing in at 230 pounds… he is THE FORERUNNER, KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII! RAAAAAAAAAAAABEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUX!
Stew-O: That’s right Jake, Kai Rabeaux will be in no mood to slow down his momentum; just like Chiyo Gedo, he is going to be in the 24/7 Battle Royale and intends to make the most of his time in the spotlight! Kai Rabeaux is a man that completely believes in himself and his capabilities, that’s for sure, and while it results in levels of arrogance rarely seen, he has shown on many occasions that he can back it up!
Flannery McCoy: Kai Rabeaux is always looking to show himself as being the next big rising star in Elite Answers Wrestling, and the 24/7 Battle Royale is the perfect avenue to do that; if he manages to win the match, he’ll be able to take the speedy path to winning his first ever championship here in EAW!
Jake Mercer: Tonight, though, we’ll be seeing a preview of the 24/7 Battle Royale as these two soon-to-be contestants will be going one to one under standard match rules in a pure contest for dominance! Both of them are determined to build this momentum on their path to the grandest stage of them all, but only one will be able to win; which one will it be? It’s time to find out!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: And the match is underway! Kai Rabeaux against Chiyo Gedo, Dynasty against Voltage, in a cross-branded 24/7 Battle Royale preview match! Both wrestlers are as focused as they can be tonight, looking to gather some momentum for Pain for Pride as they make their way out of their respective corners! Chiyo Gedo has his eyes focused on Kai Rabeaux, while the Judge begins circling his opponent with a haughtier and slower pace, nonchalantly measuring up the returning wrestler!
Flannery McCoy: Chiyo Gedo does not return Kai Rabeaux’s overwhelming arrogance, instead keeping a cold demeanor and raising up his arms in preparation of whatever may come next! He continues approaching as Kai casually continues circling around, not immediately getting into anything physical… but Chiyo Gedo makes the decision for him as he lunges forward and catches Kai Rabeaux with a collar and elbow tie up!
Jake Mercer: It looks like Kai Rabeaux wasn’t as unprepared as we thought, though, as he immediately transitions away from the collar and elbow tie up by ducking underneath the extended arm of Chiyo Gedo to make his way behind his opponent, while grabbing the arm and pulling it back as he did! Kai Rabeaux engages a wrist lock and twists it to wrench Chiyo away from the ropes!
Stew-O: He doesn’t keep that wrist lock applied for long before forcing that arm behind Chiyo’s back to apply a hammer lock… but then he lets go of it, and SLAPS the back of Chiyo Gedo’s head! The look of indignation on the face of Chiyo Gedo, facing away from Kai, is palpable without even looking at it, all while Kai Rabeaux revels in his cocky approach!
Flannery McCoy: Say what you will about Kai Rabeaux and his infuriating attitude, but he’s got the grappling skills to boast! It’s not like he’s bragging without any basis for it; aside from his struggles with BRAE, who is already quite accomplished in his own right, Kai has been victorious in his bouts!
Jake Mercer: Kai Rabeaux measures up Chiyo, waiting for him to turn around in order to continue this grappling display… Chiyo Gedo does turn around, prompting Kai to lunge forward and attempting to lock up again– but the Unchained does not play ball, instead THRUST KICKING the extended arm of Kai Rabeaux, causing Kai to turn around and grab his arm in pain!
Stew-O: That appears to be the opportunity that Chiyo Gedo was looking for as he rushes forward and wraps his arms around the midsection of Kai Rabeaux before shooting them up, underneath Kai’s arms, and applying a full nelson to the Judge before he could even realize what was happening! Kai tries to escape, but Chiyo gives him no respite as he suddenly arches back and drops Kai on his upper back and neck with a perfectly executed snap dragon suplex!
Flannery McCoy: And he doesn’t stop there! Chiyo Gedo clearly took exception to the immense disrespect being shown by his opponent as he prevented Kai from even being able to get up, instead unloading on the Judge with a barrage of violent stomps being aimed at the head and limbs! Kai Rabeaux was in control at the start of this match, but his own attitude sparked a sudden fury from Chiyo Gedo that looks like it may be too much to handle!
Jake Mercer: Chiyo Gedo ends the barrage, gathering himself as he suddenly backs up towards the nearby corner! He keeps an eye on the Judge as he scales up to the middle rope and takes aim! Kai Rabeaux gets back to his feet as Chiyo jumps onto the top rope and then LAUNCHES himself at the Judge like a human weapon!
Stew-O: He’s going for the diving crossbody to knock Kai Rabeaux down… but Kai Rabeaux was able to evade the maneuver, jumping back just far enough to avoid contact, leaving Chiyo Gedo to plummet right down to the canvas with nothing to cushion his fall! Chiyo Gedo rolls over, clutching at his midsection and his ribs in particular after that harsh landing!
Flannery McCoy: You know what they say about maneuvers like that; they’re high risk for high reward, and while a lot of wrestlers tend to go for that kind of move, they have to remember that the high risk can and will come into play when you least expect it! Chiyo is feeling that reality in his torso right now after that rough landing, but I think it might be ready to get worse!
Jake Mercer: Chiyo rose to a kneeling position as he clutched his torso in pain, but Kai Rabeaux was MERCILESS as he swiftly ran up and delivered a harsh penalty kick right across the midsection of the Unchained! That almost caused Chiyo to fall back, but Kai Rabeaux reached out and caught Chiyo by two fistfuls of hair, using them to prevent the fall and also to drag him up to a standing position!
Stew-O: Some dishonorable tactics by Kai Rabeaux there, but I don’t think he really cares as he delivers a thrust kick right to the chest of Chiyo Gedo in order to send him flying back into the very corner that he dove off of, this time landing against the corner with his backs pressed up against the turnbuckles!
Flannery McCoy: That leaves the Unchained cornered and ready for Kai Rabeaux to pick apart, and that’s exactly what the Forerunner does as he unleashes a flurry of knife-edge chops to the increasingly damaged chest of Chiyo Gedo! The Judge continues to wear Chiyo down with these maneuvers aimed at the very core of his body, and that’s only going to continue to wear down on the Unchained as this match goes on!
Jake Mercer: And another attack to the core of Chiyo Gedo as Kai Rabeaux delivers a violent knee smash right to the abdomen of the Unchained, causing him to double over in pain! That’s exactly what Kai Rabeaux was counting on as he grabs the lowered head of Chiyo Gedo and tucks it underneath his arm before taking a few steps back!
Stew-O: With Chiyo Gedo right where he wants him, Kai Rabeaux lifts his opponent up with a vertical suplex lift, before dropping the legs of Chiyo Gedo onto the top rope, causing them to bounce off! He just gave himself a little momentum boost by taking advantage of the ring environment before using that added momentum off the rope to drop Chiyo Gedo on his back with a suplex!
Flannery McCoy: And with that drop, Kai Rabeaux immediately slides over the body of Chiyo Gedo before hooking the leg as he attempts to end this match right here and now and secure his momentum for the 24/7 Battle Royale! CAN HE DO IT?!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOO-
Jake Mercer: But Chiyo Gedo kicks out– WAIT, HE DOES MORE THAN THAT! HE TRANSITIONED RIGHT FROM THE KICK OUT INTO GRABBING KAI’S BEFORE HE COULD EVEN REACT, IMMEDIATELY SNAKING HIS FOREARM UNDERNEATH THE CHIN OF THE JUDGE AND LATCHING ON WITH A GUILLOTINE CHOKE HOLD! KAI RABEAUX THOUGHT HE WAS SECONDS AWAY FROM A VICTORY, BUT THE DYNAMIC SUDDENLY CHANGED WITH HIM ON THE LOSING END!
Stew-O: Kai Rabeaux is clawing at the arms of Chiyo Gedo, doing everything he can to force Chiyo to relinquish the hold, either by wrenching himself free or just giving enough pain to Chiyo to cause him to let it go! However, it looks like Chiyo has no intentions of relinquishing the hold, keeping it as tightly latched as he possibly can!
Flannery McCoy: Kai Rabeaux’s ring awareness is to his boon right now as he already knows where he is in the ring despite his head being forced to look at the canvas due to the position he’s in with the guillotine choke hold; Chiyo is doing everything he can to prevent Kai from reaching back and getting one of his feet on the nearby bottom rope, but Kai is exploding with energy as he attempts to escape before the loss of oxygen costs him this match!
Jake Mercer: HE’S GOT IT! HE MANAGED TO GET THE TIP OF HIS BOOT ONTO BOTTOM ROPE! The referee steps in and declares the rope break, while giving Chiyo Gedo a count of five in order to break the hold! Chiyo keeps it locked in until the threat of disqualification, at which point he relinquishes the hold, giving Kai Rabeaux the oxygen that he so desperately needed!
Stew-O: That doesn’t stop Chiyo Gedo from attempting to keep on going with the momentum he’s gathered in the match, though! He immediately drags Chiyo away from the ropes and to the middle of the ring before turning him over into a supine position with his back on the canvas! He measures the distance between Kai and the ropes in his head before rushing towards those very ropes!
Flannery McCoy: Oh, and suddenly leaps up and jumps onto the ropes before he could run into one! Chiyo Gedo springboards off the middle rope of the ring, hurtling backwards towards his adversary with a perfect LIONSAULT! BUT NO, KAI RABEAUX JUST BARELY MANAGED TO GET BOTH OF HIS KNEES UP! CHIYO GEDO’S RIBS MAY BE BUSTED AFTER A LANDING LIKE THAT!
Jake Mercer: Even with his knees up, that impact still jarred Kai Rabeaux who staggers up as Chiyo Gedo has his ribs clutched in pain; he’s lost his arrogant demeanor for the time being, instead giving Chiyo Gedo his full focus as he looks to win this match! He gets to the ropes of the ring and grabs hold of them, measuring Chiyo Gedo up with malicious intent!
Stew-O: Chiyo Gedo, slowly but surely, staggers back up to his feet, but he has no idea what’s coming for him! The moment Chiyo is back on his feet, Kai Rabeaux rushes forward and launches the HOLLOW POINT, HIS SIGNATURE RUNNING HIGH KICK MANEUVER! BUT NO, CHIYO GEDO TURNED AROUND ONE SECOND TOO EARLY AND MANAGED TO JUMP TO THE SIDE!
Flannery McCoy: KAI’S FOOT WENT OVER THE TOP ROPE IN THAT ATTEMPT TO KICK CHIYO’S HEAD OFF, AND NOW KAI IS PREOCCUPIED TRYING TO GET HIS FOOT OFF OF THE TOP ROPE WITHOUT LOSING HIS BALANCE! HE MANAGES TO DO SO AND TURNS AROUND, JUST TO GET MET WITH…
Jake Mercer: FATAL HEAD TRAUMA! CHIYO GEDO CONNECTS WITH HIS SIGNATURE JUMPING DDT TO DRIVE THE HEAD OF KAI RABEAUX INTO THE CANVAS, AND HE HOOKS THE LEG NOW! DOES HE HAVE IT?!
ONEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THR-
Stew-O: CLOSE, BUT IT WASN’T ENOUGH AS KAI RABEAUX MANAGED TO KICK OUT BEFORE THE THREE COUNT! CHIYO GEDO LOOKS ANGRILY AT THE RESILIENT KAI RABEAUX, BUT HE IS NOT DETERRED! HE SLOWLY DRAGS KAI RABEAUX UP TO A STANDING POSITION BEFORE REACHING BACK AND HOLDING HIS HEAD WITH A THREE QUARTERS FACE LOCK! WE KNOW WHAT THIS IS FOR!
Flannery McCoy: CHIYO BACKFLIPS WITH KAI’S HEAD HELD TIGHT, LOOKING TO CONNECT WITH THE SWIFT ENDING AND PUTTING KAI DOWN FOR GOOD– WAIT, BUT KAI MANAGED TO HALT THE MOVE MID-MANEUVER, CATCHING CHIYO’S BODY UPSIDE DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ATTACK! KAI’S GOT CHIYO HELD UPSIDE DOWN! HE–
Jake Mercer: KINGSTONE PILEDRIVER! KAI JUST CONNECTED WITH THE KINGSTONE PILEDRIVER, HIS SPINNING TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! THAT’S IT! CHIYO HAS GOT TO BE KNOCKED OUT! KAI GOES FOR THE COVER IMMEDIATELY!
ONEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(‘Burn in My Light’ by Mercy Drive began blaring through the speakers to loud boos once again as Kai Rabeaux gets off of Chiyo Gedo with a pained smirk on his face; he staggers up to his feet and has the referee raise his hand in victory.)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… KAAAAAAAAAI! RAAAAAAAAABEAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUX!
Stew-O: This was a hard-fought return match for Chiyo Gedo, but unfortunately for him Kai Rabeaux is on a roll right now and doesn’t seem to be able to be stopped! Tonight, Kai Rabeaux managed to get the upper hand as he stopped Chiyo’s attempt to finish the match before it could finish executing, and used it against Chiyo to connect with that finisher!
Flannery McCoy: Kudos to both wrestlers on a hard-fought match, but tonight’s momentum goes to Kai Rabeaux!
Jake Mercer: Both of these wrestlers, as well as a ton more, will be meeting head to head at Pain for Pride in the 24/7 Battle Royale for a title opportunity! Will Kai be the man to get it? You’ll have to tune in and see!
(The video feed lingers on Kai Rabeaux’s cocky victory celebration as Chiyo Gedo comes to and looks on in disappointment; soon, it fades to black on Rabeaux’s triumphant pose.)
(A commercial plays for Panda Express.)
- “You’re the golden child, while I’m nothing. The least I can do is become the next Cash in the Vault winner so that no one can deny me anymore.”
(As the scene comes back on air, we pan to the middle of the ring. Saori Aizen was in the ring as her theme music “Let Me Hear” by fear and loathing in Las Vegas played. She had a microphone already at hand, as she was not looking to slow down the pace at any point.)
Saori Aizen: I am not looking for the overly elaborate entrance or the beating to the point. Pain For Pride is literally right around the corner, and look.. Do I feel in a way — obsessed? Yeah, I do. But Daniella really should be worried, she might sit here, laugh at me, undermine me in every way that she possibly can, but no one has ever given me these feelings before. The absolute true negativity and hatred that courses through my veins. I am at the point where I can’t do it anymore, and I don’t want to sound like a whiny baby, or an idiot; I just won’t rest until she is beaten! I have something pushing me, something that remains inside my head, knowing I will not be satisfied until that moment. She has made things such difficult for me, more difficult than it ever needed to be.
(Saori stopped in the middle of the ring and shook her head.)
Saori Aizen; I don’t want to play around, Daniella! Get out here, now! Come to this ring and look at me, face to face!
(Saori shouted as she awaited her opponent, but it didn’t take much longer. “Vortex” by Jinjer played throughout the arena.)
Stew-O: And Saori Aizen didn’t even really give time to beat around the point, I think she just loves this competition with Daniella, as much as she can’t stand her, as much as she hates being around her, in a way.. Saori may not operate the same if she don’t get that victory over her.
Flannery McCoy: I think Daniella knows the power she possesses, but with that being said— she walks to the ring calmly, but last week? Well it was a little bit unfortunate, but Daniella will get back in that, in blood.
Jake Mercer: Saori is going to look like a mushed little Debbie cake whenever Daniella and her meet in that ring for real! I just don’t see a reality where Saori is capable of hanging with all that!
(Daniella entered the ring, looking at Saori she just chuckled, shaking her head, as her theme song died down. She took a microphone, glaring at Saori up and down, before she spoke.)
Daniella Atlas: I am sorry, but everytime you try and look intimidating, I find myself just shaking my head and laughing. Nothing about you really gives off the word.. “intimidating”. You’re a good manipulator, I’ll grant you that much at my expense. You did a good job manipulating any narrative surrounding me! For a second there, if you wish to know the truth about Saori— I was under the belief we could have actually gotten over the hump and even became friends. But no, you played the same game that you have repeatedly played. So I had to go ahead and drop you, before you could do the same to me.
(Daniella shook her head as she mouthed “no”.)
Daniella Atlas: And it allows me to add to the fact cherie that, no matter how much you try— it’s too difficult to stand tall against me! Throughout the season, everytime we have met in the ring with one another, it has came with defeat. I continue to beat you, cherie. And I am a former champion and tournament finalist for a reason, while you…. what are you hanging your hat on Saori? Divide And Conquer? Good job.. but.. you weren’t able to make use of that anyways, as you lost the title match.
Saori Aizen; Are you joking me! You continue to try and degrade me, and boil me down into nothing I am not, I won’t stand for this! You are an asinine, foolhardy woman who when we face at Pain For Pride, will get exactly what she asked for! You will FALL Daniella Atlas, with every fiber of my being, I will look to bring you down, and after I am finished with you, I will change the doubt of everything you let cloud me! You will fall for everything you have ever raised your tongue for!
(Daniella looked at Saori for a brief moment..)
Daniella Atlas: ….
(BEFORE DANIELLA PROCEEDED TO HIT SAORI ACROSS THE FACE WITH A HEADBUTT! KNOCKING SAORI DOWN! Daniella just stood there shaking her head. She just snarled at Saori, as she took a step backwards..)
Daniella Atlas: You are doing this to yourself, cherie! You are your own downfall!
(AND DANIELLA WAS LOOKING FOR THE “SOUTH OF HEAVEN” PULLING SAORI TO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING, SHE IS ABOUT TO NAIL THE MOVE, BUT SAORI MANAGES TO SLIDE OUT OF IT. Daniella keeps her balance, UNTIL SAORI TAKES HER ANKLE OUT WITH A CHOP BLOCK! Daniella hits the ground harsh, as Saori stands over her.)
Saori Aizen: …..
(SUDDENLY SAORI WOULD LIFT DANIELLA UP, HITTING HER WITH A SOUTH OF HEAVEN OF HER OWN! DOWN GOES DANIELLA!! Saori had an evil smirk on her face, as she loomed in, grabbing a string from her pants… AS SHE PROCEEDED TO STRANGLE DANIELLA!)
Stew-O: AND SAORI AIZEN HAS LOST IT, SHE IS STRANGLING DANIELLA LIKE NO TOMORROW! DANIELLA IS FADING FAST!
Flannery McCoy: Security has to get in there fast, as they’re prying her away from Daniella! They don’t need all of that!
Jake Mercer: Look at the sick grin across the face of Saori.. she knows exactly what she did, and she has no guilt in her mind off the back of that! Not good considering Daniella’s match is RIGHT NEXT!!
(Saori had a bloodlusted sadistic look on her face, smiling as she titled her head back. This felt great for her, this was exactly what she wanted. The camera peered over to show a coughing Daniella, holding her throat….. as Dynasty went elsewhere.)
(A commercial plays for the Nintendo Switch 2, featuring the EAW roster being confused as fuck because time flew fast for its release date! However, it is indeed out, so get it NOW!)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Vortex’ by Jinjer blares throughout the PA speakers and Daniella Atlas marches out from the back, not interested in entertaining anything except for the match tonight. She storms down the ramp, nodding to her theme song. Daniella stomps up the steps and enters the ring, posing in the center of the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Dunkirk, France, weighing in at 170 pounds, she is “THE BLACK FLAME”, DAANNNIEEELLLLLAAAA!! ATTTLLLLLLAAAASSSSSS!!!
(Daniella’s theme fades out and ‘Mayoi Uta (Song of the Lost Star)’ by MyGO!!!!! is next to play and Jay Jerry Johnson emerges from the back, similarly focused on just going down to the ring and leaving with the win tonight. He strides down the ramp, not playing to the crowd. Instead he slides in and gets in Daniella’s face, and the two share some words before the bell rings.)
Stephie Love: His opponent, residing in Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 223 pounds… “THE ARTIST!” JAY! JERRY! JOHNSON!
Flannery McCoy: Quite the start, both Jay Jerry Johnson and Daniella Atlas bickering off to one another before the bell even rings. This is a much needed win for both going into Pain For Pride and we’re already getting a feel of the competitive edge between both…
(DING DING DING!)
Stew-O: Jay and Daniella both circle around the ring, trying to get a good feel for one another. They start strong with a collar and elbow tie-up, and Daniella tries to overpower Jay by throwing him back, however it doesn’t end in her favor as Jay staggers backwards but still has enough distance to apply a drop toe hold and bring Daniella flat onto her face. He rolls around, transitioning to a front facelock. Daniella grits her teeth, holding at the wrists. She tries to slowly work her way up, but Jay starts throwing some knees to the chest. Daniella pushes forth, pressing Jay against the ropes.
Jake Mercer: Daniella tries to squeeze her head out, and she swings a forearm at Jay’s head! Jay ducks under and nails her with an european uppercut! Daniella winces, and Jay with another one! Daniella leans on the ropes and Jay takes the arm wrapping it around the top rope, and then he presses his foot on the middle rope and starts pulling on her wrist, hyperextending the arm that’s around the rope! Daniella cries out in agony, trying to break free! The referee is there immediately, enforcing a clean break.
Flannery McCoy: Jay releases the hold and places his foot back on the mat. He grabs Daniella’s wrist for an irish whip, but pulls her back to drop down into a fujiwara armbar! Daniella scrambles immediately, placing a foot on the bottom rope! Jay just gave her too much distance to the rope and he has to let go. She rolls out of the ring, holding at her arm. Daniella shakes her arm out, disappointed in how this match has started. Jay stands in the ring, pacing back and forth with a smirk on his face.
Jay Jerry Johnson: (off-mic) C’mon! We don’t got all day!
Stew-O: Daniella angrily enters the ring and the two snap into a tight collar & elbow tie-up! Daniella now transitions to a waist lock, lifting Jay up from the ground and slamming him on the mat! As she looks to capitalize, Jay pushes up to his fours. He’s already looking for a way out, and Daniella has to be careful. Jay slowly moves his legs, trying to wrap them around her shin for a—no! Daniella stands and just STOMPS the back of Jay’s head! She knew she wasn’t going to win that grappling exchange and avoided it at all costs!
Jake Mercer: She hoists Jay up, but he quickly grabs the arm and twists into an arm wringer… then he SLAMS HER ARM DOWN ONTO HIS SHOULDER! Daniella falls over, crying out in pain! But Jay holds onto the arm for another—but Daniella overpowers him and wraps that bad arm around his neck! She transitions, looking for a choke hold, but Jay runs them backwards into the turnbuckles. She bounces off, wheezing out in pain as Jay drops down, using both wrists to perform a judo throw over his shoulder.
Flannery McCoy: Daniella rolls over, holding at her back. And as she kneels up, here comes Jay with a soccer kick in mind! Daniella catches the leg though, and throws Jay’s arm down. MASSIVE HEADBUTT! Jay flops hard on the canvas, not even sure what hit him. Daniella stumbles, holding her forehead as well. Jay reaches up, but his arm falls back down. Daniella drags Jay up and jams his head into her thighs. She wraps her arms around the waist and hoists him up for a powerful powerbomb in the center of the ring! Daniella drops down, hooking the legs for the first cover of this match.
OOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
Stew-O: Kick out from Jay Jerry Johnson! Daniella rolls her shoulder, nodding. She rises to her feet and drags Jay up. With the good arm, she nails him with a forearm. Then she follows up with an european uppercut of his own. This isn’t a realm where Jay can necessarily beat Daniella at, after all, that’s a very powerful woman. He falls to the ropes and she takes the wrist, irish whipping him off. Jay bounces off the ropes, trying to come to a halt, but it’s no use as Daniella brings him down with a big boot right to the jaw! Jay falls onto the canvas, holding at his mouth.
Flannery McCoy: Daniella pulls Jay right back up to his feet and wraps his arm around the back of her head. Jay tries to throw down elbows to the back of her head, but it’s not enough to bring Daniella down as she scoops Jay up and marches around the ring before finally planting him with a back suplex! Jay holds the back of his head, groaning. He did everything in his power to try and stop her from hoisting him up like that and it just wasn’t enough!
Jake Mercer: Jay rolls over, holding at the head. Daniella pulls him up to his feet and grabs him by the waist. She scoops him up, looking to transition into a gutbuster, but Jay lands onto his feet, catching the leg! Dragonscrew legwhip! And Daniella immediately goes down, holding at her knee! She hobbles up to her feet and Jay is already off the ropes with a dropkick to the knee and that forces Daniella to flip in the air, falling onto her hip! She rolls over, kicking her legs on the canvas in pain. Daniella slowly rises and Jay is up with her, grabbing at the leg again.
Stew-O: He wants another dragonscrew legwhip, but Daniella hobbles on one leg and brings Jay down with an enzuigiri to the back of the head! And he goes down, flat on his face! Daniella rolls over, slapping the mat. She slowly rises and Jay is struggling up to his feet. Daniella is running on that good leg, coming off the ropes and trying to take him out with INAMORATA—JAY KICKS THAT BAD ARM OUT! AND THEN A DROPKICK TO DANIELLA’S KNEE! Daniella goes down, and you can see how Jay has picked her apart to this point!
Flannery McCoy: Jay grins, hitting off the ropes to capitalize, but Daniella is back up to her feet and she scoops Jay up for a fallaway slam in the center of the ring! Amazing power from Daniella, and she kips up—despite the bad leg! Daniella hobbles a fair bit, I wonder if she’s regretting the showboating, but I do understand that there’s energy flowing through her right now. She’s running off adrenaline as Jay tries desperately to break her down, and he’s yet to really make his mark due to how resilient and strong Daniella is.
Jake Mercer: She pulls Jay up to his feet and jams his head into her thighs. Looking to set up for—Jay spins out and trips her down! He grabs the ankle and applies an ankle lock! Daniella yelps out in pain! Jay is pressing down on the ankle, trying to take Jay out of it! She plants her hands on the mat, reaching for the ropes! Daniella rolls away, kicking Jay away—but Jay hangs on! Daniella sits up, feeling as her leg got yanked on by Jay! She rolls over and Jay was up with her, continuing to apply the ankle lock!
Stew-O: Daniella slowly pushes up and he rolls through, sending Jay face-first into the middle turnbuckle! Jay holds his jaw, and Daniella is right there, grabbing the waist. GERMAN SUPLEX—NO! Jay holds onto the ropes for dear life! Daniella tries to lift Jay up again, but he performs a standing switch! Daniella elbows him back with full force, though! And Jay goes skidding back, holding his mouth! Daniella turns around and grabs Jay by the hair, dragging him back up…
Flannery McCoy: Wait! He swats her arms down! ‘PRETTY VISITOR!’ THE JUMPING CUTTER BRINGS DANIELLA DOWN! SHE’S KNOCKED OUT! JAY ROLLS HER OVER AND HOOKS THE LEGS FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Jake Mercer: KICK OUT FROM DANIELLA! HOW CLOSE THAT WAS! Jay slaps the mat, irate! He thought he had the win there, but not even close to it!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella rolls under the bottom rope, nursing her jaw after being driven face first into the canvas. Jay slowly rises to his feet, running his hands through his hair. Daniella won’t go down so easily, but neither will he. He limps over to Daniella, reaching for her, but now she drops to the floor. Jay watches her with agitation, but he decides to exit the ring and drop down, in pursuit of Atlas.
Stew-O: Atlas slowly makes her way up to her feet and Jay pulls her up to her feet, but THEN SHE SUDDENLY CHARGES FORWARD, TACKLING HIM INTO THE STEEL STEPS! Jay’s back goes crashing into the steel and he collapses to the ground, and immediately starts howling out from the pain! Daniella did that out of desperation! She can’t even stand, so she crawls over to Jay and starts pounding her fists down on his back!
Jake Mercer: Jay tries to cover up, but he can’t! Daniella takes the steps and rises to her feet with him still on the ground. And now Daniella starts stomping Jay out with all of her might, and there’s nothing that he can do about it! She’s driving her boot into the side of his head and against his back! Daniella pulls Jay up from the floor and scoops him up into another fallaway slam position… isn’t this a little too much?!
Stew-O: Not for her! FALLAWAY SLAM RIGHT ON THE FLOOR! AND THERE’S ONLY A THIN PADDING BETWEEN THE FLOOR AND THE CONCRETE! JAY JERRY JOHNSON IS OUT OF IT! And Daniella Atlas has once again found a way to shift this match back into her favor! Jay has no idea where he’s at right now! Daniella scrambles up to her feet, limping towards Jay! She reaches down to drag him up and throw him into the ring!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella rolls in, clutching at the bad arm. She drives her shoulder into the mat and rises to her feet, pulling Jay up with no time to waste! Daniella hits off the ropes at high speed! ‘INAMORATA!’ THE LARIAT NEARLY KNOCKS JAY’S HEAD OFF! AND DANIELLA HAD TO USE THE BAD ARM, THOUGH! She clutches at her arm, crying out in pain! Jay is still down, and Daniella HAS to get there!
Jake Mercer: She’s too focused on the pain! Daniella rolls around, until she finally gets back to Jay and hooks the leg, and the referee makes the count!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR—
Stew-O: KICK OUT FROM JAY! HE’S NOT OUT OF THIS ONE YET!
Jake Mercer: And that one has to hurt Daniella back! She falls back, running her hands through her hair. Jay is laid out on the canvas, Daniella is hurting. She rolls over, trying to get up, but she staggers, the knee beginning to kill her. Jay is still not moving, and now Daniella sees an opening. She approaches him, grabbing a handful of his hair again, and pulls him up.
Flannery McCoy: Daniella hooks Jay into a pumphandle, though Jay begins to fight it! He’s trying to do whatever he can to get out of this, but Daniella is insistent on pushing through, despite the pain in her arm! BUT SHE HEAVES HIM UP, LOOKING FOR THE ‘SOUTH OF HEAVEN!’
Stew-O: What the hell?!
(The referee and the crowd’s attention is taken away as someone just hopped on the apron… and that someone is none other than Saori Aizen!)
Jake Mercer: SAORI AIZEN IS HERE! AS DANIELLA WAS TRYING TO WIN THIS ONE! Daniella sees Saori on the apron and her eyes widen out of shock and anger! She releases Jay, who was already trying to get free, and she storms towards Saori, ready to knock Saori off the apron!
Flannery McCoy: But she drops off in time! Daniella’s knee is so banged up, she couldn’t run towards her at a fast enough time! And Daniella is shouting at Saori–HERE COMES JAY FROM BEHIND! SHE MADE A MAJOR MISTAKE NOT LAYING HIM OUT! O’CONNOR ROLL, THEN HE TRANSITIONS INTO THE ‘WINGMAN REBIRTH 187!’ BRIDGING ON HIS NECK FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner of this match, JAY! JERRY! JOHNSON!
(Jay’s theme hits and he immediately rolls out of the ring, extending his arms out for the victory. Daniella sits up in disappointment–she wasn’t able to get a shoulder up either way due to how bad Jay worked the arm, but the pain is intensified when she sees Saori backing up the ramp with a smirk on her face.)
Stew-O: I would love to say Jay Jerry Johnson stole the win, but that all felt premeditated either way! He got Daniella with the bridging pin after working the bad arm, making it harder for her to muster a kickout, and he made it harder for Daniella to hit the South Of Heaven!
Flannery McCoy: You’re absolutely correct! If Daniella wasn’t so banged up, she certainly would’ve powered through and hit Jay with that before Saori had time to come out here! Who knows if that would have led to the win, but Daniella certainly has Saori Aizen to thank for the loss tonight!
Jake Mercer: That was looking to be a great match until Saori came and ruined it, but I know Jay Jerry Johnson has to be on cloud nine after the win.
(Friday Night Dynasty returns as Stephie Love is seen standing by with a microphone in hand and a smile on her face.)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘LIKE WEEZY’ by Playboi Carti begins to play through the arena’s speakers as the camera shows a determined Joso making his way out from the backstage area. He has a confident expression on his face as he takes a moment before spreading his arms out. He embraces the atmosphere before then beginning to make his way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first… from Bronx, New York… weighing in at 206 pounds… THE ‘STAR PLAYER’… JOSO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(‘Dragonborn’ by Jeremy Soule begins to play through the speakers of the arena as Brian Daniles is seen making his way out to the stage with his arms spread out with a smirk on his face. He takes a moment to take a good look around before focusing on his opponent inside the ring, then begins to make his way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent… New York City… weighing in at 195 pounds… BRIAN DANIELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: The bell has rung, and this match is officially underway! Brian Daniels has been on the Friday Night Dynasty brand since the beginning of the year, and even then, there are still some singles matches that we want to see from the returning Elitists that we could very well consider dream matches! Former World Heavyweight Champion Joso is one of them, and tonight they face off in the ring in our semi-main event!
Flannery McCoy: Both of them make their way out of their corners, and Joso looks to try and initiate a lock up, but Brian quickly goes under and grabs a hold of him by the legs, tripping him down to the ground! He then quickly goes around and tries to lock in an early Guillotine choke, but Joso manages to flip himself on his back, as he grabs a hold of him and rolls Brian through! Shoulders down!
Jake Mercer: But the referee doesn’t even get the chance to start the count as Brian shoots the shoulder up! Brian rolls backward and up to a kneeling position, as Joso tries to shift his body around, and it appears he’s trying to wrap his legs around the head of Brian Daniels and lock in a Triangle Choke! But Brian manages to step backward and make his way back up to his feet, which prompts Joso to do the same.
Stew-O: Brian makes his way toward him, but Joso manages to grab hold of him as he drops him down to the ground with a side headlock takeover! He then locks in a grounded headlock, but Brian manages to shift his body as he plants his feet to the ground, slowly beginning to make his way to his feet. Both of them are struggling to get control over the other in the feeling-out process, and it seems like this is a lot more difficult than both of them anticipate!
Flannery McCoy: Brian manages to make his way up to his feet, with Joso adjusting and locking in a side headlock, but Brian manages to push him up against the ropes before sending him toward the opposite side of the ring! Joso rebounds, AND BRIAN IMMEDIATELY MEETS HIM WITH A KITCHEN SINK, WHICH DROPS HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND!
Jake Mercer: Joso lands flat on his back as he slowly makes his way back up to his feet, but Brian is already approaching him as he shoves him backward toward the corner. He grabs hold of him by the head, BEFORE NAILING HIM WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT STRAIGHT TO THE JAW! Joso is left rocked by this, but Brian isn’t done either, as he picks him back up, BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A SECOND UPPERCUT! CONTINUING TO BATTER HIM!
Stew-O: Brian then takes him by the wrist before sending him toward the opposite corner with an Irish whip! He then gets a running start as he rushes toward him, GOING FOR A FOREARM RIGHT TO HIS FACE- BUT THAT DOESN’T HAPPEN! Joso manages to move out of the way just in time as he turns himself around, CONNECTING WITH AN ENZUIGIRI TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD, WHICH FORCES HIM BACK TOWARD THE CORNER!
Flannery McCoy: Joso makes his way up to his feet as he takes a moment to catch his breath before approaching Brian, but Brian manages to fight back as he brings his foot up and boots Joso right across the face! Brian then turns around as he begins to make his way up to the top rope, looking to take advantage of the situation while Joso is stunned! He waits for Joso to turn around, AS HE LEAPS THROUGH THE AIR AND GOES FOR A MISSILE DROPKICK-
Jake Mercer: BUT THAT DOESN’T HAPPEN! BEFORE BRIAN CAN SPREAD HIS WINGS, JOSO RUNS FORWARD AND SHOVES HIM OFF OF THE TOP ROPE! BRIAN DANIELS IS SENT TUMBLING DOWN OFF THE TOP ROPE AND DOWN TO THE RINGSIDE AREA, AND LOOK AT THE PAIN JUST ETCHED ON HIS FACE! CRASHED AND BURNED RIGHT IN FRONT OF US!
Stew-O: Joso is shaking off the cobwebs, but I think he realizes that he has a prime opportunity right here that he needs to take if he wants to win this match. Brian is slowly beginning to make his way up to his feet, but he’s not going to be able to recover for long, AS JOSO RUNS TO THE ROPES AND BACK BEFORE LEAPING OVER THE TOP ROPE, TAKING HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A TOPE CON HILO!
Flannery McCoy: He then grabs hold of Brian and brings him up to his feet, rolling him under the bottom rope and back into the ring! Joso is looking to keep his momentum going right here as he climbs up onto the apron, beginning to set himself up as he waits for Brian to get back up to his feet, BEFORE LEAPING ONTO THE ROPES AND TRYING TO TAKE HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A SPRINGBOARD CLOTHESLINE!
Jake Mercer: WAIT! NO! BRIAN MANAGES TO LEAP UP AND CATCH JOSO IN MID AIR WITH A HIGH DROPKICK, WHICH TAKES HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND! WHAT AN EXCELLENT COUNTER BY BRIAN DANIELS AS HE GRABS A HOLD OF JOSO AND BRINGS HIM UP! AS HE FOLLOWS IT UP WITH A DRAGON SUPLEX, WHICH DROPS HIM DOWN ONTO THE TOP OF HIS HEAD! BRIAN PINS HIS SHOULDERS DOWN AS THE REFEREE SLIDES DOWN AND BEGINS TO COUNT THE PIN!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
Stew-O: BUT JOSO MANAGES TO KICK OUT OF THAT! Brian just tried to steal the match away from him, but we all know that it’s going to take a lot more if he’s going to be able to take someone like a former World Heavyweight Champion down. I’m sure that Brian knows how valuable a win against a future Pain For Pride main eventer is going to be for him; it would do wonders in cementing himself toward the end of the season heading into the next.
Flannery McCoy: It would certainly make him a threat, but until that bell rings, we’re merely dealing in hypotheticals. Brian is making his way up to his feet, and he’s turning around to see that Joso is doing the same. Both of them have battered one another up to this point, but they know that they’re going to have to persist. For one of them to have their hand raised in victory, they’re going to have to throw everything that they have. Joso is up to a kneeling position, BUT BRIAN CONNECTS STRAIGHT WITH A KICK TO THE CHEST THAT LIGHTS HIM UP!
Jake Mercer: Joso absorbs that, and it seems that he’s trying his best to shake it off, but it’s not going to be much use as Brian continues to throw everything that he has at him, AS HE STEPS BACK AND CONNECTS WITH ANOTHER KICK RIGHT TO THE CHEST! Joso is doing what he can right now to try and fight back, but the hard-hitting offense of Brian Daniels is beginning to get the better of him, AS BRIAN GOES FOR A THIRD KICK-
Stew-O: BUT JOSO MANAGES TO GRAB IT THIS TIME! He fights through the pain and manages to get one over on him as he makes his way back up to his feet, PUSHING THE LEG DOWN AND CONNECTING WITH A KNEE RIGHT TO THE FACE! Brian staggers back as he takes a moment to shake himself off, BEFORE GOING FOR A CLOTHESLINE RIGHT TO THE FACE- BUT JOSO MANAGES TO DUCK UNDER IT!
Flannery McCoy: And now he grabs him from behind around the waist as he lifts him off the ground, AND HE’S GOING FOR ‘INCOMING SILENCE’! THE BLUE THUNDER BOMB TO DROP BRIAN RIGHT DOWN TO THE MAT!
Jake Mercer: But Brian manages to connect with a fist down directly on his face, which forces Joso to bring him down! The former World Heavyweight Champion tries to keep hold of him, looking to try and go for the move again, but Brian follows that up as he nails him with a back elbow right to the face! He then spins himself around into a standing back switch, grabbing hold of him around the waist, BEFORE LIFTING HIM OFF THE GROUND AND CONNECTING WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX WHICH COMPLETELY KNOCKS HIM DOWN!
Stew-O: Joso is dropped right down to the ground but slowly rolls himself up, and now it’s Brian who takes advantage of this as he makes his way over and grabs a hold of him by the wrist, sending him toward the corner with an Irish whip- No! Joso manages to turn it around as he sends Brian toward the corner instead, CHARGING AT HIM-
Flannery McCoy: BUT BRIAN MANAGES TO RUN UP THE TURNBUCKLES AND FLIP OVER HIM! HE LANDS BEHIND HIM AS HE TURNS AROUND AND RUNS TO THE ROPES AND BACK, AS HE GOES FOR A FLYING FOREARM DIRECTLY TO THE FACE OF JOSO TO TAKE HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND-
Jake Mercer: NO! JOSO MANAGES TO CATCH HIM AS HE REBOUNDS! HE THEN SPINS AROUND BEFORE DROPPING HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A SIT-OUT SIDE POWERSLAM! ‘RUNAWAY’ QUICKLY CONNECTS ON BRIAN AS JOSO REACHES OUT AND GRABS A HOLD OF THE LEG, HOOKING IT AND GOING FOR THE PIN AS THE REFEREE SLIDES DOWN AND STARTS THE COUNT!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHRRRRR-
Stew-O: BUT BRIAN MANAGES TO KICK OUT OF IT JUST IN TIME! Close call, but Brian Daniels lives to see another day, and you can see the frustration beginning to build on his face as he begins to make his way up to his feet. He’s beginning to circle, taking a moment to recover and catch his breath while Brian is beginning to show signs of life. Brian is slowly beginning to make his way up to his feet, and I don’t think he’s going to like what happens next!
Flannery McCoy: Joso grabs him by the head and pulls him into a front facelock, setting him up! AS HE GOES FOR ‘EXECUTIONER FROM HELL’! LIFTING HIM INTO A SUPLEX AND DROPPING HIM DOWN INTO THE CUTTER-
Jake Mercer: BUT BRIAN MANAGES TO DROP HIS WEIGHT! Joso tries to lift him again, but Brian is beginning to strike him repeatedly in the abdomen! He’s trying his best ot hold on, but Brian manages to escape as he slips out of the hold, BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A HEEL KICK RIGHT TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD WHICH SENDS JOSO DOWN TO A KNEE! Brian then turns around and runs to the ropes and back, BEFORE LEAPING INTO THE AIR AND CONNECTING WITH A SHINING WIZARD TO DROP HIM DOWN TO THE CANVAS!
Stew-O: He drops Joso down to the ground, and now Brian has rolled under the bottom rope and begins to make his way up to his feet. He then turns around and begins to scale up the turnbuckle and position himself, and it looks like Brian is about to connect with something right here! AS HE LEAPS OFF AND GOES FOR A DIVING HEADBUTT RIGHT DOWN ONTO A DOWNED JOSO!
Flannery McCoy: BUT JOSO MANAGES TO ROLL HIMSELF OUT OF THE WAY JUST IN TIME! He makes his way up to his feet as he grabs hold of Brian’s head, BEFORE RUNNING UP THE ROPES AND DROPPING HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A TORNADO DDT! And Joso is beginning to feel it again as he slowly begins to gain back momentum.
Jake Mercer: Joso is slowly beginning to make his way around Brian, yelling at him to get back up to his feet, which is what he’s slowly beginning to do, but I think Brian also knows that he’s stumbling into something right here! But it might be too late as Joso grabs hold of him and turns him around, booting him in the abdomen!
Stew-O: AS HE PULLS HIM IN AND LIFTS HIM OFF THE GROUND INTO ‘HEAVEN’S GATE’! THE PACKAGE PILEDRIVER ATTEMPT!
Flannery McCoy: But Brian manages to drop his weight, BEFORE LIFTING HIM OFF THE GROUND AND SENDING HIM PLUMMETING DOWN ONTO THE CANVAS WITH A BACK BODY DROP! Joso lands hard in pain, grabbing hold of his spine as he slowly begins to make his way up to his feet, turning himself around right into the grasp of Brian Daniels!
Jake Mercer: AS HE SPINS AROUND AND GOES FOR ‘CAUSTIC ECHO’! THE SPINNING ROUNDHOUSE KICK RIGHT TO THE TEMPLE OF JOSO-
Stew-O: BUT JOSO MANAGES TO DUCK UNDER THAT! He begins to build up, AS HE LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND NAILS HIM WITH AN ENZUIGIRI! Brian falls against the ropes, but he rebounds off of it, USING THE MOMENTUM AS HE SPINS AROUND AND CONNECTS WITH A DISCUS ELBOW! Joso is taken aback by this, but manages to keep himself up, AS BRIAN SPINS AROUND AND GOES FOR A SECOND DISCUS ELBOW-
Flannery McCoy: BUT JOSO MANAGES TO DUCK UNDER TI AS HE SPINS AROUND AND STEPS FORWARD, NAILING HIM WITH A SUPERKICK THAT FORCES HIM BACKWARD! And now Joso has momentum, he quickly turns himself around as he runs to the ropes and back, looking to take Brian down to the ground with some fast-paced offense!
Jake Mercer: BUT BRIAN MANAGES TO CATCH HIM! HE RUNS FORWARD AND NAILS HIM WITH ‘VALAR MORGHULIS’! KNEE RIGHT TO THE FACE COMPLETELY DROPS HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND, AND NOW BRIAN IS TAKING ADVANTAGE AS HE GRABS A HOLD OF HIM AND BRINGS HIM UP TO HIS FEET! HE’S BEGINNING TO SET HIM UP AS HE LOOKS TO TAKE HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND ONCE MORE!
Stew-O: GOING FOR ‘CAUSTIC ECHO’!
Flannery McCoy: BUT JOSO MANAGES TO DUCK UNDER THAT ONCE MORE AS HE GRABS A HOLD OF HIM BY THE LEGS AND BRINGS HIM UP INTO A POWERBOMB POSITION! HE BRINGS HIM DOWNWARD BEFORE DROPPING HIM DOWN WITH ‘CRIMSON PEAK’! THE STYLES CLASH MANAGES TO CONNECT BUT JOSO ISN’T GOING FOR THE PIN, IT LOOKS LIKE HE’S NOT DONE JUST YET!
Jake Mercer: AS HE GRABS A HOLD OF BRIAN AND DROPS HIM DOWN ONTO HIS HEAD WITH ‘HEAVEN’S GATE’! THE PACKAGE PILEDRIVER FINALLY MANAGES TO CONNECT AS JOSO ROLLS HIM OVER ONTO HIS BACK AND HOOKS THE LEG! GOING FOR THE PIN! IS THIS GOING TO BE IT?!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTTWWWWOOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘LIKE WEEZY’ begins to play through the speakers of the arena as an exhausted Joso is seen slowly rising, taking a moment to catch his breath as he shakes his head before making his way up to his feet. The referee makes their way over as they take his hand and raise it into the air, signifying his victory as Joso then begins to celebrate.)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner… JOSO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: What a match that we just got the opportunity to witness! Both of these Elitists were walking into this one with something to prove, but when it came down to it, ahead of his Pain For Pride main event, Joso was more than happy to show exactly why he deserved to be here and exactly why he was en route to the World Heavyweight Championship.
Flannery McCoy: And while I’m sure Jay Jerry Johnson was watching closely, Brian Daniels isn’t letting this deter him in the slightest, I’m certain. He’s fought hard to get to this point, and even though he came up short, he knows that it’s not the end just yet. Regardless, congratulations to Joso on the victory!
(Joso drops down and rolls out of the ring, beginning to backpedal up the ramp as he trahstalks toward the camera. It’s the very last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty, then, begins to fade out from there.)
(Backstage, Cy Henderson is seen walking down the corridor in lieu of his upcoming main event against the Interwire champion, Chris Elite. He remains stone-faced, likely not happy with how last week went down with Joso getting the jump on him again. However, out of the frame, a voice calls out to him.)
??: Hello, Cy! A moment, please?
(The angle shifts, capturing Michael Belfort entering the scene. Cy has a look as if he doesn’t want to answer any prodding questions at the moment, but with a sigh, he turns to him.)
Cy Henderson: Sure, just make it quick.
Michael Belfort: Thank you, I will. Last week, we saw how everything spiraled for you. Once again, it seemed like Drake and especially Joso were taking over, and I just wanted to know how that makes you feel?
(Blink.)
(Blink.)
(Blink.)
Cy Henderson: … Taking over? How? What, are you trying to imply that I’m being passive or something?
(That’s a sharpness to his voice, which Michael picks up. His eyes widen as he stammers.)
Michael Belfort: No, no, no! It’s just that with all of these fights and back-and-forth, they’re looking to mark themselves as the next EAW World Heavyweight Champion, and—
(Cy brings his hand up.)
Cy Henderson: That’s enough.
(Michael shuts up. Cy reaches with that same hand to take the microphone away from him—not snatch, but it’s a firm grasp. Henderson stares at him for a moment before he speaks.)
Cy Henderson: Look, I get it. Those two want to be loud and vocal, start fights and think they can get ahead of me, but that’s not going to be the case. It does frustrate me. I’m the champion, the world champion, at that, but it feels like those two aren’t treating me as the true threat I am. One wants to run around and feel vindicated as if he hasn’t been acting like some spoiled brat because I beat him at Grand Rampage, while the other one, who I thought would at least know better, is branding me as some sort of enemy and making all these threats he’s simply not going to back up in the end. But that’s what I get for affording any sort of respect to anyone here. I have long since accepted that people will do everything to brand me as the villain. That’s why I stopped caring about turning my reputation around.
(He shrugs.)
Cy Henderson: At least that ended up being the right call. I don’t need to seek approval. I don’t need nor want to be liked. However, what I do want is respect, and the fact I haven’t been given that from either of them? It does boil my blood a bit, Michael. Is that what you wanted to hear?
(Michael stands there, too timid to respond. This only aggravates Cy further.)
Cy Henderson: Well…?
Michael Belfort: I, uh, suppose so.
Cy Henderson: You ‘suppose’ so? You really are pathetic.
(But then… that annoyance melts away. His lips thin out into a faint smirk… and something darker colors his eyes.)
Cy Henderson: … But you know what? I’m not. I’m not some coward. I don’t lack a backbone, and Drake and Joso will find that out soon enough. There are no lengths I am unwilling to go to in order to establish the fact that I am operating at a new level now. If this title isn’t good enough for them to understand that? Then maybe what I do to them will do the trick.
(Michael looks concerned.)
Michael Belfort: What do you mean by that, exactly?
(Cy shakes his head and chuckles.)
Cy Henderson: You’ll see. Everyone will. And this time? It’ll all go according to plan.
(Cy shoves the microphone into Michael’s chest. He walks off. With dangerous intent hanging in the air, the scene fades from there and transitions to ringside.)
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following main event contest… IS A CHAMPION VS. CHAMPION MATCH, scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke can be heard throughout the speakers as the audience responds with immense reactions. Chris Elite emerges from the back with a confident & focused expression on his face with the Interwire Championship around his waist. He walks down the ramp focused toward the match tonight as he sets his eyes onto the ring ahead.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! From Brooklyn, New York! Weighing in at 210 pounds… HE IS THE INTERWIRE CHAMPION, CHRISSSSSSSS, ELITE!!!
Stew-O: Chris Elite is vying for increased momentum tonight that could allow him to garner further confidence heading into Pain for Pride! The Interwire Championship match against BRAE will have its struggle, which can be negated with momentum by possibly defeating the World Champion!
Flannery McCoy: Absolutely, this is exactly what Chris Elite needs to come out of with a win in order to gain any sort of advantage going into Pain for Pride. Although that will be easier said than done, as he’s got quite the test ahead of himself with his opponent tonight, that will provide quite the opponent…
(‘Saint Pablo’ by Kanye West can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as the crowd responds loudly with the arrival of Cy Henderson. Cy takes a glance upon the audience tonight, World Heavyweight Championship around his waist & not all too receptive to their reactions as he keeps his expression tame while looking ahead to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing his opponent! From New York City, New York, weighing in at 240 pounds… HE IS THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, CYYYYYYY HENDERSON!!!
Stew-O: Cy Henderson is intent on garnering his own success at Pain for Pride, and it’s a hill to climb yet attainable as we have already seen Henderson accomplish a great deal. Tonight, Cy can prove himself furthermore through his reign as World Heavyweight Champion with an example to be made of his opponent.
Jake Mercer: Cy has showcased himself as a formidable champion in his own right who is increasingly difficult to take down, Chris Elite is looking to achieve a rarity tonight by scoring a second win over Cy. From one Hall of Famer to another, this will be a main event clash for each elitist…
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And we’re off! World Heavyweight Champion collides with the Interwire Champion right here on Friday Night Dynasty, as we can expect an electric encounter between both men tonight as the final main event match before Pain for Pride! This is a battle between two EAW Hall of Famers that are each respectively looking to garner as much of their own ground as they can before they each step into title matches at Pain for Pride! The two men are now pacing themselves around as they may be looking to begin this match at a pace that best suits the both of them here!
Flannery McCoy: As they each engage in an emphatic collar & elbow tie-up right here to kick the match off! They’re trying to push the other competitor and take this match toward a more sizable matter of control for themselves, but it seems that Cy Henderson is able to gain the strength advantage here as he’s now pushing Chris Elite back against the ropes here with the referee proceeding to count down! Chris Elite is struggling a fair bit here as he’s trying to find some better footing for himself here while the referee is counting down on Cy. Chris is able to breathe after Cy soon backs away, keeping his hands up to let Chris move—
Jake Mercer: But Cy gets his arm around the head of Chris in a hurry to yank him away from the ropes and initiate a headlock takedown! Chris is down on the canvas as Cy is keeping this headlock tightly applied while Elite is unable to get out of the hold! Chris is looking to keep himself from being placed in this headlock for long, as he’s looking for a way out of the hold while Cy is still able to apply this takeover for the time that he has all to his control. Chris is able to muster up enough energy to get a leg around Cy’s head and allow for his head to be locked around his legs!
Stew-O: But Cy immediately pushes himself off from being choked out as Chris was also able to escape from any headlock that could’ve been keeping him down further! Henderson is now bringing himself back up as he’s looking to try and maintain any control that he had—but A STIFF FOREARM across the temple of Cy Henderson! The forearm is preceded by ANOTHER FOREARM that is now able to cause Cy to stagger back & into the ropes, with Chris continuing to nail each forearm across Cy without avail as the referee is counting down and making sure that Cy is being placed through as much of a struggle as possible! Chris refuses to let up as he’s now rushing the ropes and running back toward Cy for the ‘HEADSHOT’—
Flannery McCoy: CY DUCKS UNDER–BOOT ACROSS THE TEMPLE OF CHRIS! Chris is staggered considerably as he finds himself leaning back and being taken through the storm here with Cy refusing to let up, allowing a strong UPPERCUT to send Chris Elite staggering further and into the corner now! Chris is suffering through quite the tough spell here as Cy is now rushing toward him and looking to nail a sudden FOREARM RIGHT ACROSS HIS JAW AS WELL! Chris is not being placed in the most exemplary position here after all of the pressure that Cy is causing Chris to go through from here!
Jake Mercer: As this is persisting further with each repeated elbow that Cy is laying into the temple of the Interwire Champion while he is situated against the corner! The referee is counting down as he’s not gonna allow Cy to keep this going unless he is willing to risk a potential disqualification, but Cy is able to alleviate that worry of a premature end to the match by backing himself away! The referee has his handful to say, but Cy ignores him to keep on focusing on Chris Elite, now rushing toward Chris and looking to take him through the same world of hurt yet again with ANOTHER BOOT—
Stew-O: BUT CHRIS DUCKS UNDER THE BOOT! Cy catches himself in the corner as Chris was able to roll through and toward the ropes to evade the boot, and with Henderson looking to turn himself around which is more than enough for Chris Elite to SEND CY CRASHING DOWN WITH A DISCUS LARIAT THAT PUTS HIM ONTO THE MAT! Cy is dazed by the lariat as he rolls away, emerging upward while he still can!
Flannery McCoy: With Chris rolling himself away and under the ropes, he emerges up on the apron as he waits for Cy to turn himself around after bringing himself back up to a stance again… AS HE LEAPS UP ONTO THE TOP ROPE BEFORE LAUNCHING ONTO CY HENDERSON WITH A SPRINGBOARD CROSSBODY THAT TAKES CY HENDERSON OFF OF HIS FEET TO PUT HIM DOWN! Cy is taken down as Chris rushes himself over to Cy Henderson, hooking that leg from here!

Chris is dragging Cy back up to his feet, with a wrist held when pulling him upward as he’s now looking to bring all of his energy possible in order to find a way to put Cy back down and bring this win home! Chris hoists Cy over his own shoulders, as it’s not long before Elite seeks out ‘44 BULLDOG’—
Stew-O: Cy is squirming free from this carry that Chris had imposed onto Henderson, as Cy is now backing himself away while Chris is turning himself back down to face Henderson! Chris aims to swing forward and take Cy back down—BUT CY DUCKS AS CHRIS IS UNABLE TO TAKE HIM DOWN! Chris turning IS NOW himself around and raising his arm to aim for another swing here as well—

Cy is now dragging Chris upward and against the corner, before nailing swift uppercuts across his jaw to keep Chris at bay here!
Stew-O: Cy Henderson is surely doing a good enough job at keeping Chris Elite under immense pressure as this match continues to pick up for as long as it needs to on his end! Cy is now placing Chris upward and over to the top turnbuckle, keeping to all of the offense he’s been able to dish out as he’s now sending repeated punches across the skull of Chris Elite! This is not turning out for the better when it comes to all of the strife Chris is being placed through! BRAE is certainly watching!
Flannery McCoy: As Cy Henderson is now rising up to the very top of the turnbuckle alongside Chris Elite, and he reconfigures the stance of Chris Elite as he is looking to make the most out of this newfound opportunity that presents itself in full color as Henderson takes a hold of the waist of Chris Elite–AS THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION LOOKS FOR THE AVALANCHE GERMAN SUPLEX–

Stew-O: Cy is left in a very bad spot here as he’s laid out across the mat! Chris realizes that this opens a new window of opportunity for himself here as he’s now rising up to the top of the turnbuckle, and as he’s got Cy Henderson right where he needs him as well! Chris is up on the top and before long.. AS HE LAUNCHES OFF WITH A FROG SPLASH ONTO CY HENDERSON! Elite rushes himself to the cover as he eagerly hooks the leg of Henderson for the win!

Flannery McCoy: NO! CY KICKS OUT YET AGAIN! Cy Henderson is able to remain in this match as Chris is sitting himself up, shaking his own head here as he’s trying to do anything that he can to take up this victory over the current World Heavyweight Champion here in EAW! Chris is bringing himself back up, and he’s dragging Cy over to the ropes, leaning him back against the bottom turnbuckle as he’s now proceeding to stomp down repeatedly into the upper chest of Cy! Each stomp looking to cave into his chest for as much as he possibly can while the referee is counting down, forcing Chris to halt the offense against the corner just before the five count can go through!
Jake Mercer: As Chris finally backs away from Cy when the referee nears that five count! But he’s still maintaining all of the pressure here as Cy is looking to continue to make good out of the consciousness he’s got, emerging from those ropes and up to his feet by pulling himself up! But Chris is now rushing toward him as he’s looking to take him down with a RUNNING DROPKICK—BUT CY CAUGHT HIS FOOT–AND FLIPS HIM OVER AS CHRIS IS FLIPPED ONTO THE CANVAS BACK-FIRST!! All of the momentum backfires on Chris Elite as he clutches onto his lower back, slowly rising again!
Stew-O: Cy is remaining focused as he’s trying to emerge back up to his feet and react quickly enough to continue applying his own pressure, dragging Chris upward as he is looking for the MILITARY PRESS POWERSLAM—BUT CHRIS SQUIRMS FREE TO LAND INTO CY FOR A SUDDEN DDT!! THE DDT THAT CAUSES CY TO SHOOT UPWARD IN A DAZE! Henderson is dazed as he’s now stumbling forward from the DDT and moving forward toward Chris Elite as he’s left in a vulnerable state–
Flannery McCoy: AS CY DROPS CHRIS ELITE WITH A TRADITIONAL LARIAT AFTER DARTING UPWARD AND INTO CHRIS!! The Interwire Champion is stunned by the lariat as he’s rolling himself backward onto his knees, remaining dazed while Cy is able to keep himself on his feet following the lariat! Henderson reacts soon enough to drag Chris Elite upward and soon is able to lift Chris Elite upward into the air before taking him right back DOWN!
