(EAW intro plays)
(Showdown opens up with a recap of last week’s show. IDOL-GUN are able to defeat Serenity Valdez and Jon Kelton, and after the match, a nasty brawl breaks out between all of the people in the Temple of Trials match. Nikki Kimura defeats Roque Santa Cruz, and after her match, Kasai grabs a microphone angry about how she got screwed in her match last week by Pandora, but she is still focused on finding an opponent for The Last Stand before Nikki decides to step up and actually accept herself Kasai’s challenge to face her in the Marquee Event. And a few minutes later, Heidi Huxley informs Solomon Stane and Kirk Redwood they will also have to fight each other at The Last Stand for a spot in the Showdown EEC. Lucas Johnson defeats Jade Phoenix. Princess Candice has enough of Caroline, as she draws Caroline out to get her to explain why she is truly tormenting her, and when Caroline goes to attack her, Candice turns the tables around on her and lays her out instead. Devolution goes through some more team building. Daryl Kinkade and PJ Hendrx are able to defeat the Off-Brand Amphetamines and after the match, Daryl lays out PJ to send a message. Delilah has an interview with Mikaela Street that gets interrupted by Madison Kaline who attacks her and lays her out. Veena Adams is able to take the win against Halsey Neel. Miku Sakai talks about her chances to win the Iconic Cup Tournament and her opponent in the finals, Minerva. And in the main event, Chef Viz and Sheridan Muller are able to defeat Adam Lucas and Scott Diamond, but Scott and Chef Viz stand tall over their respective opponents at The Last Stand.)
(The recap ends, and it is replaced with the song “Brick Wall” by a Day to Remember, as the camera pans around the inside of The KBS Hall in Kyoto, Japan. Blue fireworks are shooting out of the stage and the Japanese crowd can be seen on their feet clapping in an excited manner. The camera ends up panning over to the commentary table with Deadprez, Eve and Gavin Kirkland as the commentators.)
Eve: Welcome everybody…TO SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN!!!
Gavin Kirkland: AND NI-HAO TO ALL!
Deadprez: We just got out of China last week, we are in Japan now.
Gavin Kirkland: Oh right, my mistake…XIN CHÀO TO ALL!
Eve: That is Vietnamese!
Gavin Kirkland: Oh whatever, you all understand what I mean! We are right now starting our tour in Japan and I can’t wait to see the puroresu from all of our incredible Showdown ladies!
Eve: I think that is not how the word puroresu is used- Anyway, just like Gavin said, we have another solid wrestling show for all of you that I am sure you will all enjoy, as we got the Divide and Conquer Winner Kasai going up against Jade Phoenix, and we also got Princess Candice Blair going up against Mattias Burke!
Deadprez: We can’t forget either about Hikari Kanno facing off against Daryl Kinkade, the EAW Answers World Champion Adam Lucas going up against Solomon Stane, and in the main event, we have the advantage for the Temple of Trials match in the line as the new partnership of Usagi Senshi and Pandora Paisley go up against ARIA and Ashlynn Quinn!
Gavin Kirkland: LET’S GET RIGHT ONTO IT THEN! :blessed:
Deadprez: That’s all to come, but first I’m being told that we have a meeting of two individuals that will face off at Last Stand, a match that his literally been ‘cooking’ pardon the pun, for a while now
(“5 Milli” by Icewear Vezzo kicks in over the PA system, the fans jumping to their feet as one of the most charismatic individuals to ever compete in EAW appears at the top of the ramp. With a bow of gratitude, he starts to make his way down to the ring, jawing at a couple of fans who dare throw insults at him.)
Gavin Kirkland: This guy… I love him
Deadprez: And so, does a fair few of this capacity crowd. The one man who it seems can do no wrong.
Eve: He’s compelling, interesting, and more importantly for this company he puts asses on seats. Not many have the drawing power of a Chef Viz.
(Viz walks around the ring, and high-fives Deadprez, before picking up a microphone from the table. He then rolls into the ring and lists his hand, his music fading out. He then looks straight up the ramp and lifts the mic.)
Chef Viz: How’s about you make yourself presentable… a tough task I know Sherbear, and you get yourself out here and we have a little chat.
(Almost immediately, ‘Amerika’ by Rammstein hits, and Sheridan Muller comes through the curtain and doesn’t even hesitate and walks straight down the ramp and heads for the ring.)
Deadprez: Sheridan not messing around tonight, she’s coming to the ring for answers… or retribution.
Eve: And who can blame her after being laid out by Viz just seven days ago.
(Sheridan grabs a microphone, and walks up the ropes, for the first time acknowledging the reaction she is getting. Her music fades, and immediately Viz holds up his hands.)
Chef Viz: Come on now, don’t you be giving me that aggressive look. Or is that just the resting bitch face?
Sheridan Muller: You don’t need to see how much of a bitch I can be.
Chef Viz: What, you mean like telling someone that you are doing the dirty with their husband? That’s a little bitchy don’t you think?
Sheridan Muller: I’m not here to talk about Bethany.
Chef Viz: Nah, it’s funny how you never want to talk about that isn’t it? But let me guess, you want to talk about how I gave you a ‘Kiss to the Head’ last week after we had been successful against the Champ and his Challenger.
Sheridan Muller: It has been on my mind, yes..
Chef Viz: What, did you think I had some new found respect for you because we were put on the same team at Territorial Invasion. I mean Adam put us together, and I was pretty steaming after what Devolution had done to me so I wasn’t going to say no was I? We all did our part… so I really don’t see what the problem is
Sheridan Muller: You don’t see how I would have a problem with someone kicking me in the head?
Chef Viz: Well, by the looks of you Sherbear, it’s not the first time is it?
Eve: Oh, come on, that’s uncalled for
Gavin Kirkland: Let the man cook Eve, it’s funny.
Chef Viz: But no matter if you want an explanation…
Sheridan Muller: Damn right I want an explanation after you crossed the line last week.
Chef Viz: Did I really? Cross the line I mean. With everything else going on in the EAW right now, did me sending you a message for Last Stand cross a line? I did my part at Territorial Invasion, and I played my part last week on Showdown. It’s hardly my fault is it if you don’t have the common sense to duck. Look, you’re a sensitive little soul, and I get that. You have feelings and all that modern day crap… but can’t you see, Vizzy has feelings too. And I can’t have people thinking that you are better than me when it simply isn’t true.
Sheridan Muller: Well, we shall see about that at Last Stand.
Chef Viz: Yes, we will. See I get it now Sherbear, I understand that the ultimate for you is Cashing in the briefcase, and how that will be the culmination of all your hard work. That’s the problem with you Sheridan, you are limited, and you can’t see what is beyond the end of your nose. Though, that thing is huge. I’ve played the part I was asked, I even played nice with Adam when he was blatantly making merry with my reputation, but now it is all about cooking up a banquet for little old me.
Sheridan Muller: Selfish… yeah, I get it
Chef Viz: If you opened your eyes, you would see I am the most selfless man on this roster, after all I’m letting Adam have his moment in the sun. And guess what, I’ll even be ringside cheering him on at Last Stand because we sure as hell don’t want Scott Diamond as Answers World Champion. But can’t you see Sheridan, people are doubting me now every single week, and there is only one way I can shut them up, and that is by winning the Answers World Championship for myself. And I feel sorry for Adam, because he is a fine champion, but he isn’t Big Viz. He isn’t the most polarizing man in this industry right now. And that’s my explanation to you for what happened Sheridan and why you got the kick to the mush. I want the Answers World Championship, so of course I’m going to take out the competition and make the ‘preparation’ that little bit easier. THAT’S your explanation, so we are done here.
Sheridan Muller: What?
(Viz throws down the microphone, and slides under the bottom rope, and starts walking backwards up the ramp.)
Sheridan Muller: Where are you going? We are not through here.
(Viz just grins, clearly enjoying Sheridan’s annoyance.)
Deadprez: Viz with the ultimate show of disrespect here… leaving before Sheridan really had time to retort.
Gavin Kirkland: Sheridan wanted an explanation, and she got one. What more does she want, blood?
(In the ring, Sheridan’s eyes narrow and slowly she starts to nod her head. She understood what Viz was up to, and what he was trying to do. Sheridan would remember this disrespect in full and pay it back at Last Stand. She was going to make sure of it. Viz disappear through the curtain still grinning, Sheridan passing her mic to a member of crew before dropping down and out of the ring, walking up the ramp.)
Eve: This just stepped up a notch. The one thing Sheridan Muller cannot stand is disrespect, and right now she has to feel disrespected.
Deadprez: Definitely, I hope Viz understands what he has placed in the frying pan tonight.
Gavin Kirkland: He knows exactly what he is doing, he’s looking to make a statement to whoever comes out of Last Stand as the Answers World Champion. That being that once he’s done with Sheridan, it’s his turn. And you know what I say to that?
Eve: I dread to think
Gavin Kirkland: COOK VIZ. COOK!!!
(Sheridan reaches the top of the ramp and without looking back disappears through the curtain, as the scene cuts away.)
( ‘KARATE’ by BABYMETAL plays as Kasai walks out to cheers from the audience. She looks ready and able to win this match, cracking her knuckles as she walks down the ramp and into the ring.)
Gina Romano: THIS OPENING MATCH OF SHOWDOWN IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL WITH A TWENTY MINUTE TIME LIMIT! INTRODUCING FIRST, THE HUNTRESS, KASAI!
Deadprez: I understand you have quite the heat with Kasai now. Explain that to me real quick?
Nikki Kimura: She couldn’t understand. She couldn’t get what I wanted to tell her and immediately decided that she wanted it all for herself and saw me as lesser. I can’t have that.
(‘MELTDOWN’ by Travis Scott ft. Drake plays as Jade walks down the ramp to boos. Jade mouths off to the crowd as she walks down the ramp. Upon entering the ring, she eyes down Kasai and tries to taunt her.)
Gina Romano: AND HER OPPONENT, FROM LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, JADE PHOENIX!
Nikki Kimura: FYI, as much as I have issues with Kasai, Jade’s getting her ass kicked.
Eve: Damn, still loyal to your ex-teammate?
Gavin Kirkland: You wouldn’t know about loyalty if it slapped you in the face.
Eve: Shut up, Gavin.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Gavin Kirkland: I’ll give you the honor of doing so, Nikki.
Nikki Kimura: AND WE ARE OFF! It seems like this match is going to be one that I am certainly going to have to keep an eye on, as it does seem like Kasai is out for blood, especially against me.
Eve: Yeah, man, that’s what happens when you lay people out, but I get why you did what you did.
Nikki Kimura: Does it look like I care? I understand she’s my partner and all, but I had to think about myself, I had to think about my career because I can’t keep riding off her back. It’s not how this works. Let’s just get to the match.
Deadprez: Sure can, as we see the two of them going into a collar-elbow tieup! It does seem like, Nikki, you might have a lot to learn in this match, if you haven’t learned already. Kasai has great technical skill, and this is shown as she’s able to lift Jade’s arm up and twist it down! Great showing here so far!
Gavin Kirkland: So it does seem like Kasai is looking at you from the stands, Nikki. It also does seem like you don’t have a care of what she’s doing right now. I respect it. Anyways, it does seem like Kasai is really getting something to go here, as she’s hitting her with a kick to the jaw!
Nikki Kimura: She’s always been quite the striker, but that’s one thing that I’m not afraid of about her. She can’t scare me into submission, I’m going to stand ten toes down and show her what I’ve got.
Eve: That’s certainly the best mentality you can have as you look on to watch this match! Both of these competitors seem to have great skill when it comes to wrestling on the mat and being quick with the strikes, and this is evident as Kasai is able to hit her with a Johnny Lawrence style combo, hitting her with two successive kicks to the nose!
Deadprez: That forces Jade to step back, which makes her look at Kasai with almost a certain disdain! She smiles, though, and she rushes in and hits her with an elbow! Nikki, what do you have to say about that elbow from Jade so far?
Nikki Kimura: She better know what she’s doing. Kasai may be my opponent but I refuse to discredit her skill. Jade’s in for a rough ride.
Gavin Kirkland: Pretty mature, but me personally—
Nikki Kimura: Complete that sentence and I’m breaking your teeth.
Gavin Kirkland: Okay.
Eve: Kasai takes the elbow pretty nicely, and she immediately retaliates with her own! It connects, but as we can see, Jade is still standing and unfazed by this attempt! Kasai is showing that she can be durable, but so is Jade! Could this prove to be the story in this match so far?
Nikki Kimura: I know she’s durable, but this is a different level. If she has some anger and some stuff she wants to tell me, she’s showing it through her actions.
Deadprez: And it seems like Kasai is going to walk Jade down, but Jade isn’t backing down either! Jade slaps her in the cheek and proceeds to walk down as well, as the two of them clash heads in the middle of the ring! Kasai shoves her back, but Jade does the same!
Jade Phoenix (off-mic): YOU GOT SOMETHING TO SAY RIGHT NOW, BITCH?
Gavin Kirkland: Jade’s getting mouthy, as Kasai hits her with a right hook to the jaw as she speaks! Jade’s on the ropes and trying to recover, and the Huntress sees the Hunted and rebounds off the rope, before hitting her with a lariat! Jade’s stunned, and Kasai grabs her by the hair and turns her around.
Eve: She pulls her body up, and BAM! Lariat right into the chest puts her down and that’s clearly something she’s going to remember all night long. Straight up put her in her place. Gotta love it. Good ol’ fashioned hand to hand combat.
Deadprez: Kasai is looking over at you again, Nikki, and it seems like she’s shaking Jade’s head while she’s at it! She’s pointing at you and immediately turns around to knee Jade in the ear, causing her to wobble to the ground! She immediately goes for the cover!

Gavin Kirkland: NO! Jade kicks out and it seems like Kasai is just calm and focused right now! She doesn’t care if she didn’t get the job done there! There’s a crap ton of opportunities that she can take over right now if she really wanted to! Jade is being pulled up, and Kasai is looking at the crowd and back at you.
Nikki Kimura: Listen, if she has a problem with me, she can settle it with me in the ring, or I can go over there and do what I did last week and make it hurt even more. Does she really want that to happen to her or something?
Eve: Jade takes advantage of this, and immediately hits her in the gut with a body shot! Kasai is slumped over, and she immediately hits her with a stunner! Now Jade’s regaining momentum in this match, and it does seem like Kasai might be distracted here! I guess she’s eyeing you way too much.
Nikki KImura: She’s a grown ass woman, she can do whatever she wants and pay the consequences for it. Doesn’t like when someone speaks their mind, though.
Deadprez: It’s gettnig heated in here, and I love it. Jade is rushing in and immediately puts her down with a lariat! Kasai gets up and she’s hit with another! Kasai gets up again but Jade turns her around and lays her back on the mat with a German Suplex! What a power move from her!
Gavin Kirkland: Oh, this is about to get very heavy in here. Jade is fighting hard and she’s rushing forward, pounding her face in with several hooks to the jaw and everywhere else! It does seem like she’s making this a brawl, which could lead to it being in her favour!
Nikki Kimura: Sure, if that’s what that other bitch thinks.
Eve: It seems like you know her very well, Nikki, which makes sense considering y’all were tag partners and stuff. You know, OBA got a bit happy with what happened back there.
Nikki Kimura: Tattooed bartender and the prisoner? I’m not sweating them. Once this stuff between Kasai and I is over, we’ll see if they’re worth getting their face pounded in.
Deadprez: Jade is abcking her into the ropes, as she pulls her down and drives her face into it! Now it seems like Jade is using every legally dirty trick in the book to win this match, and there is nothing that the referee can do about it here! Jade is pushing forward, and she immediately shoots off with chop after chop, trying to force Kasai back! Kasai stands still, though!
Gavin Kirkland: She’s about to get destroyed, and I’m pretty sure even Nikki knows that. Jade is attempting a few more kicks and it manages to stagger Kasai back, but that’s fueling Jade’s ego and causes her to attempt to rush in again, before getting hit with the WIDOWMAKER! Spider Suplex from out of nowhere puts Jade down and the match could end right here! She has the cover on Jade!

Eve: NO! SHE KICKS OUT!
Nikki Kimura: That doesn’t usually put them out, not very surprised here. Jade is tough, and Kasai can hit hard.
Deadprez: I think you have quite the future in the commentary business, Nikki. There’s a seat waiting for you if you ever want to join us in this table.
Gavin KIrkland: There’s supposed to only be three of us–
Deadprez: Who do you think we’re removing?
Eve: Sigh, Gavin. You always get yourself into these situations. Can’t really feel sorry for you now, as if I ever did. Anyways, it seems like Jade is really starting to feel the heat, as Kasai is recklessly pounding shot after shot into her face with reckless abandon! Straight ground and pound, as Kasai is grabbing her arm and transitions into an armbar!
Deadprez: Armbar from Kasai here as Jade is starting to get twisted and turned around like it’s nothing! Kasai is changing it up, mixing it up so Jade doesn’t see a pattern. That’s one thing we know Kasai for. Intelligent wrestling.
Gavin Kirkland: Indeed we do, and it’s certainly been evident in both Nikki and Kasai’s matches, both as a team and individually. Kasai has certainly rubbed off on you, NIkki, eh?
Nikki Kimura: Your word choice sucks, old man. Stay away from me.
Eve: That’s tough, Gavin. Gotta do better than that, old man. Jade is looking to grip her two hands together, and she manages to do so! Kasai decides to drive her forearm further down and pulls back, breaking the grip and moves into a Bicep Slicer! Devastating move from her here!
Deadprez: And Jade is looking to grab the ropes, but it seems like there’s a lot on her plate here! That bicep is going night night if she doesn’t address that situation fast, but Jade is inching the ropes! She manages to latch onto it, and Kasai lets go!
Gavin Kirkland: First time we haven’t seen Kasai try to murder somebody once they grab the— WHAT? KASAI JUST STOMPS HER IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD, CAUSING JADE TO FALL ONTO THE MAT! THE REFEREE IS PULLING HER BACK!
Referee: That’s a warning, Kasai. Don’t do that again.
Nikki Kimura: Classic Kasai, always the angry one.
Eve: Jade tries to get up, and Kasai is walking over calmly, looking to attempt to hit her with a legal elbow shot, but Jade gets her with a backfist to the solar plexus! Kasai’s breathing just got interrupted, and Jade immediately knows what she needs to do here! She needs to finish the match before Kasai finishes her!
Deadprez: Jade feints that left hand, before sending a devastating right hand into her jaw! It puts Kasai on the ground and it seems like Jade is looking for the cover here! She wants to finish the match right here and I’m not sure how feasible that is!

Gavin Kirkland: NO! KASAI KICKS OUT! Jade is furious and she wants to get on the top rope, and she leaps off! Kasai hits her with knees to the gut, and Jade is stumbling over! That was definitely a shot for the ages as Kasai is proving that she can really do it all right now! She’s fighting off the bottom which is making things harder!
Eve: And Kasai and Jade are on the ground, but only one of them can get up here! They’re looking for a rope to latch on and it seems like there’s nothing to latch on to! They’re rolling and rolling, and the both of them manage to grab onto a rope at the same time!
Deadprez: They get up at the same time, and it seems like they’re eyeing each other down like they’re about to do something incredibly stupid to each other! Both of them are walking each other down and they start trading out of nowhere! JADE! JADE! JADE! JADE! KASAI! KASAI! KASAI! BLOW AFTER BLOW AFTER BLOW! There’s sweat all over the ring and I’m surprised there isn’t blood yet after all of these shots! Jade hits her with a knee to the solar plexus, and right now, this could be the finishing shot here!
Gavin Kirkland: Jade whips her into the corner, and she’s getting the crowd all hyped up! Several shots are coming down into Kasai’s head as Jade is looking to finish the fight right here and right now! Nikki, you better close your eyes because this is about to get ugly.
Nikki Kimura: It really isn’t.
Deadprez: SKULL KICK! OUT OF NOWHERE AS JADE RUSHES IN FOR THE HELLUVA KICK AND IT DOENS’T WORK! KASAI MANAGED TO HIT HER WITH A SKULL KICK, THE URAI’S CURSE CONNECTS! WHAT A MOVE FROM KASAI! JADE IS SLUMPED OVER AND THIS COULD BE IT!

(Kasai has her hand raised, but Nikki leaves the table and immediately runs down into the ring and pushes Kasai back. They stare each other down and it seems like Kasai decides to walk away.)
Nikki Kimura: All I ever wanted was to get what was mine and mine only.
(But no, Kasai hits her with an elbow to the face! She’s slumped over, and Kasai is standing tall over her as ‘KARATE’ by BABYMETAL plays, fading to a quick commercial break.)
(Showdown came back from commercials and it returned to backstage to where Kennedy Street was casually relaxing on her office, looking over at her phone and expecting for a few people to arrive here, she called them all to come to her office for a special occasion, she wanted to hear from all of the wrestlers in her roster every now and then and see how they are doing, and well, two of the people she invited don’t really like her but hey, a boss has to do what they can.)
(Kennedy waited with AJAX right by her side and just then, she turned over as she heard the door open and then she saw both members of the Off-Brand Amphetamines enter together, Kirk Redwood entered first followed by Solomon Stane, the two had serious expressions to their faces as Kennedy received them with a smile.)
Kennedy Street: Ah, well, hello there gentlemen! It is finally a pleasure to meet the Off-Brand Amphetamines in person.
(Kennedy quickly got up and extended her hand out to them, Kirk and Solomon shook it but they were still pretty angry as Kennedy’s expression turned confused and then Kirk spoke up.)
Kirk Redwood: Alright, cut the crap Kennedy, why did you force us to fight against each other?
Kennedy Street: Wow, wow, hold on now honey, I know you two are understandably angry about that but surprisingly, that wasn’t my idea in the first place, it was Heidi’s in actuality, I wanted another more qualifying match for the EEC at The Last Stand and she gave me the juicy idea of letting the two of you fight against each other, it would bring drama and eyes to the idea of letting a team go at it in a match, and besides, you two are very close as a team, I am sure that no matter who wins or loses, you will still be together, right?
Kirk Redwood: Pfft, of course.
Solomon Stane: Absolutely.
Kennedy Street: Then don’t worry, let’s just wait then for more people to arrive!
(Solomon and Kirk stood off to the side as Kennedy continued waiting, and the third person to arrive was none other than Daryl Kinkade, he entered looking presentable and with his hands in his pockets, he entered inside as he looked around, the Off-Brand Amphetamines gave him an ugly look that he shrugged off, and then he turned towards Kennedy.)
Daryl Kinkade: Kennedy.
Kennedy Street: Daryl.
Daryl Kinkade: You better have brought me here for a good reason, because I have a match tonight and I would rather be focused on it than us having to butt heads again about something we both don’t agree on.
Kennedy Street: Oh honey, believe me, I don’t want to deal with that either, but it is something completely different, in fact-
(Just then, before Kennedy could say anything else, someone else pushed through to open the door, and the man who entered was none other than PJ Hendrx himself, he entered with style and without wasting much time, he walked further inside, didn’t even pay attention to the Off-Brand Amphetamines and walked towards Kennedy’s desk.)
PJ Hendrx: Yo.
Kennedy Street: Good to see you have arrived as well, PJ!
(Instead of a handshake, PJ and Kennedy actually gave each other a friendly fistbump as PJ then turned over and saw Daryl staring right at him with a serious expression on his face.)
PJ Hendrx: What you looking at? Do I have something on my face?
Daryl Kinkade: Yeah mate, got no problem to take it right off with my fist.
PJ Hendrx: I would like to see you try-
Kennedy Street: Wow, wow, now, please, don’t start fighting in my office especially when I need all of you right now for something. So stay put, and let’s wait for the last people to arrive.
(PJ and Daryl looked at Kennedy then towards each other and they decided to settle down, obviously backing away from each other and waiting patiently. The penultimate person to arrive was Delilah Rose, who quickly walked inside without much problem and moved quickly towards Kennedy and gave her a handshake.)
Kennedy Street: Oh, hello there Delilah! How are you doing for your match at House of Glass?
Delilah Rose: As prepared as I can get. Believe me, by the end of the match, I’ll bring the Specialists Championship to Showdown, don’t worry about it.
Kennedy Street: Hope that is true, honey!
(Delilah then went to sit down next to Daryl, the two of them being the only people there to not really hate each other and actually being in good terms and the two talked to pass the time before finally, the last person arrived and of course, as this person pushed the door open, it was Madison Kaline. And of course she was angry.)
Madison Kaline: Oh, so NOW when you invite me and I am supposed to go here is when you let me enter, but when I want you to hear me, it is complete silence, getting blocked by your bodyguard and being thrown out of the building?
Kennedy Street: Madison, honey, we are not doing this right now, if you want, you can send a complaint to the manager, me, after this, but I would not like this to last forever, so come on, let’s go.
(Madison rolled her eyes and she slammed the door behind her as angrily as she could, and once every person was finally inside, Kennedy began speaking.)
Kennedy Street: Alright, I gathered here the six of you to do something very interesting, this might sound weird at first but in fact, I want to hear from all six of you, I want to hear from all of you why do you want to win your qualifying matches and go on to Road to Redemption, and maybe, just maybe, I might do something extra for all of you if you move my heart enough. So chop chop, get to it.
(The six people inside were incredibly confused when Kennedy suddenly gave them that weird request to do, nobody was sure on who could go first but Kirk Redwood decided to step up first and speak up.)
Kirk Redwood: Now, I am not the type of dude to just let out my feelings out in the open like that, every last person here will happily take advantage of those to get ahead, and hell, even I can admit I was that kind of person sometimes but this match means a lot to me, I will have to fight against someone I have teamed up with for a long time, I am going to fight against someone I almost consider a brother, I am going to fight someone I respect with all of my soul, and honestly, I wouldn’t expect anything less than for him to give me the fight of a lifetime to make sure he is the one that comes out winning, Solomon, you better knock me the hell out to make sure I stay down because if so, I will do whatever it takes to get that win over and you and go on to gun for that world championship, brother to brother.
Solomon Stane: Funny, I was almost going to say the same thing as well, there is no one else who I have more respect towards than you, my friend, it is almost like fate brought us together in a sense due to how we have been able to blend almost instantly and we were able to achieve the Unified Tag Team Championships, and well, it has been a full year since we were able to make that kind of thing, we have fought several times to try and regain that kind of opportunity for us but we have been unlucky in that regard, it does not mean we should just simply give up in fighting for that kind of opportunity, I am sure if we keep fighting hard enough, we will eventually achieve it, but for now, it seems the path fate wants to take us to is to see who is the strongest wrestler out of the two of us, and who deserves to go on to fight for the world championship, good luck old friend, I will not hold back either when we face off against each other.
Daryl Kinkade: Come on bruv, talks of fate and stuff? I don’t believe in any of that bullcrap at all, the only thing I believe on is my wrestling ability and myself, if fate really exists, then it has been trying to play a sick game with me for a whole year ever since I have arrived here, failure, after failure, after failure, I am completely sick of that, continuing to have people drag and push me down on every step that I take, on every second that I breathe in some oxygen? I am completely sick of that as well, and that is why, no matter what, I am going to be the one to go the distance, I am going to be the one who is going to reign above everybody else, I am going to be the one who is going to become the World Champion, not any of you knobheads, and believe me PJ, you are the biggest one here of them all if you think you are going to be the one who is going to beat me and go on to Road to Redemption, sorry to say, I am the one who is going to remind you that your dreams are just that, dreams.
PJ Hendrx: Man, oh man, how about you tell your sob stories to someone who actually cares, Daryl? Newsflash, everyone has had some tough [BLEEP] to deal with in their life, you are not the only one here who has suffered loss after loss after loss, I am one of those people who had to go through those rough patches as well, I am one of those people who have had the world against me a few times every now and then, despite that, I still arrived and conquered, I have faced so many talented people in the squared circle and I have grown in ability and level every single time until I have reached this point of the curve, a point that is certainly above the level that you are at now, and I am going to be the one to solidify that statement when I take you down and make you go into another pathetic breakdown, let’s be honest here “bruv”, no matter how much you scream and shout, whatever you wish for isn’t going to come true at all, because I will be the one to stop them from becoming true, out of the two of us, I am the one who is going to want this more, and I am going to be the one who is going to fight with all that I have to make sure I achieve it, it is my time to be World Champion, not yours.
Delilah Rose: Now, now, it is very cute hearing all of your words right here at this moment, a lot of hopes and dreams from every last one of you, too bad that they don’t compare to mine, now, I have been on a very humbling path when I have arrived at EAW, I am woman enough to admit my faults and mistakes, unlike the person that I am going to face at The Last Stand, and in turn, I have been able to grow leaps and bounds in every match that I have participated in, I have been able to show out every last part of my arsenal and showing you why I am rightfully called the Final Boss, I am more than what I was before, hell, I literally just beat a former Hardcore Champion last week and proved to all of you that you need to invest your time and money on me, I am a future SUPERSTAR and none of you can deny that from me at all, because you know what is about to happen? I am going to go to House of Glass and become Specialists Champion, then win at The Last Stand, go to Road to Redemption and then proclaim a World Championship to my name as well, Delilah 2 Belts baby! And along the way from achieving that, I am going to beat a washed up Hall of Famer who the best she can do is call help from a manager, and still fail on that.
Madison Kaline: EXCUSE YOU?! How DARE you continue to try and put dirt on my name with baseless facts? I am completely tired from all of the disrespect that every last person has thrown my way ever since I have arrived on Showdown, I am a former women’s champion, I am a Hall of Famer, I am Madison Kaline, GOD DAMN IT! And all of you should keep that on your mind whenever you address me, because even though all of you can complain about how hard your life has been for you or how you didn’t get any love at all from your parents when you were a kid, I have been fighting every week ever since I debuted here in EAW, and once again, ever since I have returned. I was a starry eyed rookie whenever I first arrived hoping to achieve my dreams and have people shout my names across the rooftops, fighting to get any kind of respect from people, and now, in the present day, it is still the same fight but I am not the same woman than I was, I am more ruthless, I am more despicable, I am more cutthroat, I am more deserving of being called the Answers World Champion than any of you will ever be, this is going to be my moment, not any of yours, this is going to be where I finally achieve the so called impossible, not any of you, I will be able to add so much more to my legacy and finally shut up all of the critics proving them that a so called “Karen” could achieve a world championship. And in the process of that, I am going to put another rookie in their place and crush their own chances at ever succeeding against me.
(All six wrestlers finished talking and Kennedy processed everyone’s speeches, before finally letting out a grin and speaking up.)
Kennedy Street: Honestly, wonderful from all six of you, friends are fighting, enemies are fighting enemies, and despite all of the odds, all of you understand what is on the line. So you know what? You all moved me and I am going to do this for you, a second chance. For the people that lose their matches at The Last Stand, all of you will have a last chance triple threat where another spot in the Extreme Elimination Chamber will be on the line. That is all, you can all go now!
(Everyone there was pretty surprised as they heard that, either way, win or lose, everyone had a fighting chance to get inside of the chamber, and it is clear between every person there, they will do whatever it takes to win that world championship. And as everyone else left Kennedy’s office, Showdown faded away to commercials.)
(We cut to the back, where Kyra Phillips is standing by. Just like everyone, she was starting to get excited about Last Stand, and with her she had someone who was going to be a huge part of that event, though they are currently standing out of camera shot.)
Kyra Phillips: Thank you for joining me. It is my absolute pleasure to have with me someone making waves within Elite Answers Wrestling right now. Miku, thank you for joining me.
(The camera pans out to reveal Miku standing beside her. She nods towards the camera, as Kyra holds the mic under her lips.)
Miku Sakai: Yeah, I have been making an impact of late haven’t I? Though, I don’t think anyone should really be surprised about that. It’s not like it should be a massive shock. I told everyone that it would just be a matter of time before I made my presence felt, and here we are. And no one should start sleeping on me now because I am far from finished.
Kyra Phillips: You of course made it to the finals of the prestigious Iconic Cup…
Miku Sakai: Like I said I would.
Kyra Phillips: Indeed, but how did it feel overcoming Valeria Hellstorm, Halsey Neel and ARIA?
Miku Sakai: It felt good, however inevitable that result was. Don’t get me wrong, I know all about the attributes of those three, and I knew that they were all capable. But I also knew that if any of those individuals won, it would be because I made a mistake. And as I have clearly shown, I very rarely make mistakes.
Kyra Phillips: On several occasions though, it did look like you weren’t going to make it.
(Miku laughs, but it isn’t because she is humored, but more annoyed by that implication. She doesn’t lose her composure though, but makes sure that Kyra shouldn’t ask a question like that again if she knows what is good for her.)
Miku Sakai: Like I said, all three were capable of an upset, but I always had the match under control. If I had lost, I would have been disappointed, and I don’t care for disappointing myself Kyra. Disappointed the three of them, well that’s cool, I thrive on that. But if I want something, then I take it. And I wanted that place in the final of the Iconic Cup more than anything right now.
Kyra Phillips: More than your confrontation with Devolution at Last Stand?
Miku Sakai: MUCH more than that pathetic little altercation. Yes, I get it… winning my semi-final match and getting to the final has implications for Last Stand, of course it does. But truthfully now, I couldn’t care less.
Kyra Phillips: You don’t?
Miku Sakai: No, because if there is anyone capable of overcoming those implications, then it’s me. Yeah, Devolution is an annoyance that we will seek to get rid of, I feel that is our duty considering what they have put us through. However, winning the Iconic Cup and defeating one of the very best in EAW MUST be my focus. I would be selling myself short if I didn’t. And like I said before, the one person I don’t like to upset is myself. And I won’t. NEVER again. So, at Wicked Games, I’m going to do exactly that. And then end this ‘Devolution’ rat problem that we have here on Showdown once and for all.
Kyra Phillips: And of course, we know that you will face Minerva in that final, a former World Champion.
(Miku scoffs at the mere mention of her name, and certainly doesn’t seem to have any fear going into the match. In fact, she gives nothing but the impression that she is looking forward to it.)
Miku Sakai: Look, I get it. I’ve heard what everyone says about Minerva and the things that she has achieved in the past. I know that they, and probably even you, think that Minerva is quite simply an unbeatable entity who is the favorite to emerge from the Iconic Cup victorious.
Kyra Phillips: It’s not my job to show bias Miku
Miku Sakai: No, but that’s what you are thinking, I can see it in your face. But it doesn’t matter. The only person whose opinion matters is me. Mine. And I know that I can beat Minerva. In fact, I fully expect to. I’ve been told many times that people are unbeatable, or that I won’t win, more times than I can remember in fact. But do you know what I DO remember?
(Kyra shakes her head.)
Miku Sakai: I remember that on almost every occasion, it was I who came out the winner and proved everyone wrong. I don’t focus on the comments, or the naysayers. I don’t care for people’s opinions on what I can, and can’t do. I just focus on the prize, by putting everything else on the backburner, including Last Stand. At Wicked Games, two things are going to happen. One, I shock the world and become the Iconic Cup Champion…
Kyra Phillips: And two?
Miku Sakai: I send a message to Devolution that seven days after, I will end them once and for all. Because if I can beat someone like Minerva, who actually means something, then I will have NO problem with Devolution. And then Kyra… just watch what happens next.
(Miku turns on her heels and heads off down the corridor leaving Kyra alone, as the scene fades to ringside.)

( ‘ We Won’t Back Down’ by Ra begins to play as the crowd begins to cheer as Mattias Burke makes his way from the back, down the ramp, and into the ring. The look on his face is one of confidence as he enters between the ropes. )
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST, FROM LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND, WEIGHING IN AT ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-FIVE POUNDS, HE IS… ‘THE NATURAL’ MATTIAS!! BURKE!!
DeadPrez: Mattias Burke is one of the brightest young talents we have here in EAW. A few weeks ago we saw Mattias victorious in a hard-fought match against Roque Santa Cruz. And all throughout that match one thing was evident, Mattias Burke is a future star.
Eve: I couldn’t agree with you more. But as talented as Mattias Burke is, tonight he faces the biggest test of his young career.
( ‘We Won’t Back Down’ fades out and is immediately replaced with ‘Rhapsody in Pink’ by Stella Cole as the crowd begins to give a mixed reaction as Candice Blair makes her way to the top of the stage. A smile begins to form on her face as she makes her way down the ramp and into the ring. )
Gina Romano: AND HIS OPPONENT, FROM ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, WEIGHING IN AT ONE HUNDRED THIRTY POUNDS, SHE IS ‘PRINCESS’ CANDICE! BLAIR!!
DeadPrez: After an unsettling face-to-face with Caroline last week, it appears as if Candice Blair is in a much better mood.
Eve: I think it’s safe to say Candice is looking to leave the past in the past and the only thing on her mind here tonight is winning. It’ll be hard for her to do that if the only thing she has on her mind is her issues with Caroline.
DeadPrez: Well that’s just one of the things that makes Candice Blair, Candice Blair, she’s a phenomenal multitasker, and when it comes down to it, she knows how to focus on the task at hand. But on the off chance that she doesn’t, Mattias Burke is going to be right there to pick her apart.

( ‘Rhapsody in Pink’ begins to play as The camera shows Candice Blair breaking her hold before celebrating as Gina Romano picks up a microphone to announce the final decision of the match. )
Gina Romano: HERE IS YOUR WINNER, ‘PRINCESS’ CANDICE BLAIR!!
DeadPrez: Valiant effort from Mattias Burke here tonight. He took Candice Blair to her limit and there were various moments throughout this match where it looked like he had her exactly where he wanted her. But the veteran expertise of Candice Blair was simply just too much for him to overcome. Congratulations to Candice Blai–
( ‘Rhapsody in Pink’ cuts out as the lights in the arena dim and eventually go dark, as the camera can last be seen focused on a confused Candice Blair present in the center of the arena. )
( A few moments after the lights are cut they return back and the audience can be heard giving a very mixed reaction as the camera finally pans back to the ring where we can see Candice and an unmade figure standing behind her. )
DeadPrez: What the hell? Who is that?
( As soon as Candice turns around we’re able to see a clear view of who the figure behind her is. )
Eve: IT’S CAROLINE.
DeadPrez: CAROLINE IMMEDIATELY GRABS CANDICE BLAIR AND SETS HER UP FOR A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE !! CAROLINE JUST PLANTED CANDICE BLAIR!!
Eve: AND NOW SHE’S… LEAVING..?
( Caroline takes one final look at Candice Blair before she exits the ring and makes her way back up the ramp as the camera pans back to an unconscious Candice Blair, before fading elsewhere. )
[SCREEN BAR- EARLIER TODAY]
(A bar appears on the screen with the words ‘Recorded Earlier Today’ on it. The picture forms, and we see Mikaela Street and Adam Lucas both sat down in sofa chairs. Mikaela is dressed professionally in a business suit, but Adam is a lot more casual in just a tee-shirt and jeans. He does however have the Answers World Champion resting on the sofa arm.)
Mikaela Street: Thank you for sitting down with me Adam. I appreciate that a lot of time is taken up with your duties as World Champion.
Adam Lucas: It’s not a problem Mikaela, always a pleasure to sit down with one of the less annoying Streets.
Mikaela Street: I won’t tell Kennedy you said that
Adam Lucas: Oh, please do…
(They both laugh, Mikaela referring to her notes.)
Mikaela Street: I wanted to start with a question I get asked a lot by the public, if you don’t mind of course.
Adam Lucas: Sure, go ahead
Mikaela Street: A lot of people were happy when you finally claimed that belt as your own, at the time, it seemed like you were on top of the world. But it seems that over the last few months, your demeanor has changed, would you agree?
Adam Lucas: I can see why people would say that yeah. I mean, I want to make it clear, the Answers World Championship means everything to me, it was a dream to become World Champion. The feeling I get now holding it, is the same as when I won it in that I am honored to represent Showdown as its champion. That said, over the past few months there have been a few frustrations that have bubbled to the surface, and yeah… I’m big enough to admit that I’ve not done the best job of hiding them. You might have heard Viz trying to imply that the pressure of being the World Champion is getting to me, but it isn’t that. Just things that I could have done without… After all, I wanted this title reign to be remembered, but as yet I’m not sure it would be.
Mikaela Street: Do you care to elaborate on that?
Adam Lucas: Of course, I mean for starters, I thought that by now I would have three, maybe four title defenses under my belt and yet I only have one. If I get past Scott, then the likelihood is I will then defend in the Extreme Elimination Chamber, and a quick fact check shows that that structure hasn’t been particularly kind to me, and that things can quickly get out of control there. I wanted to defend this title on multiple occasions so that the naysayers shut their mouths, but due to reasons I don’t really understand, that opportunity has been taken away from me. On top of that, and I must be truthful to myself, my one title defense was shrouded in controversy, and not of my making. Daryl Kinkade had every right to be up in arms about it. So yeah, the title reign hasn’t been exactly as I envisaged.
Mikaela Street: But you can put that right at Last Stand, don’t you?
Adam Lucas: I do, and that’s why giving Scott Diamond this title shot was so important to me, and to be fair Kennedy was more than happy to sign off on it. See, there are so many people capable of being the Answers World Champion on Showdown. Daryl, Sheridan, Jon Kelton… the list goes on and on. But none of those names have the pulling power of a Scott Diamond, or indeed a Viz. Those names I mentioned previously are people that will undoubtedly form the structure of this company for years to come, but Scott and Viz are Hall of Fame quality. Beating someone as established as that, can be defining to a person’s career. So when Scott attacked me, it actually gave me a good reason to let him push to the front of the queue, quite simply so I could knock him right to the very back. Like I said, my title reign needs to mean something and if I can beat Scott Diamond then it might finally have that.
Mikaela Street: And Scott certainly seems to believe he has your number.
Adam Lucas: And therein lies another reason behind the frustrations. He’s laid me out twice now, without a receipt, and that certainly isn’t a good look for the Champion of a brand. Let him believe he has my number, let him laugh his way up every ramp before we reach Last Stand, but I can assure you of one thing Mikaela.
Mikaela Street: Which is?
Adam Lucas: A Last Stand, I will most certainly have the Last LAUGH, when I put that overbearing egotist down once and for all. Let him have his opinions and his cheap little wins, but he will not be leaving with the prize that he craves more than any other.
(Adam places his hand on the belt, subconsciously protecting it.)
Mikaela Street: So, you wouldn’t say that the issues started at Territorial Invasion then, because that seems to be the belief. That it is since that defeat in Wargames, that you have struggled.
Adam Lucas: Struggled huh?
Mikaela Street: That’s what I’ve heard, yes.
(Adam smiles, obviously not agreeing with that statement.)
Adam Lucas: Well, in that case opinion has gotten a little skewed. I’ve not been beaten one on one in so long I can’t remember when it was. All these tag matches and petty little altercations with Devolution I’ve been involved with have all been irrelevant in the grand scheme. Nah, I’ve not been struggling Mikaela, but I do understand why people are thinking that way. It’s up to me to put things right, and that’s what my match tonight, and Last Stand is all about. Putting things right and moving forwards. Territorial Invasion went well in my opinion. Viz, Sheridan and I performed well as a team and very nearly upset the applecart a little. But I’m ready now to get back to what I’m good at, singles competition, and thus I can’t wait for tonight and Solomon Stane. I know what I’ve been saying all week, but Solomon is a fierce competitor and a decent challenge for me. I’ll show how much I’ve been struggling tonight.
Mikaela Street: Just going back to Territorial Invasion, are the rumors correct that you and your wife Bethany Blue have still not managed to put to bed what happened. After all, you were responsible for ending any hopes Voltage had of victory.
Adam Lucas: Beth and I are fine Mikaela
Mikaela: Yes, and I don’t mean to push… but she was recently on social media saying that even those closest to her would suffer for what happened. You cannot help but think that is a direct narrative towards you, and you are pulling Beth off Sheridan in Wargames.
Adam Lucas: Mikaela, Beth is a competitor, and she expects to win every match that she competes in. I denied her that opportunity by defending my brand, at an event where brand reputation was at stake. This wasn’t in the parking lot, or in a bar where I didn’t let her pummel some poor soul for shouting their mouths. This was a match, where both of us were fully aware that something like this could happen. Thing is, I don’t expect her to be happy about it, why should she be? Just like I was defending Showdown, she was looking to put it away/Yeah, I have moved on from it, and that’s probably annoying her even more, but we’ll be ok, I’m sure of it. Anyway, it looks like Sheridan has burned her bridges with me now for speaking some truth, so perhaps things will get back to normal. But it’s certainly not the big deal that it seems some are making of it. Couples have their disagreements and become stronger because of it. In time, that’s what Beth and I will be… stronger.
Mikaela Street: OK, moving on.
Adam Lucas: Yeah, probably for the best
Mikaela Street: So, what is the definitive ideal for Adam Lucas and the rest of Season 17?
(Adam thinks on it for a moment, before giving his answer.)
Adam Lucas: You know Mikaela, I am someone who prefers to not look too far into my future. Others may be looking towards Last Stand, but I only mention it when forced by the actions of my challenger. Tonight, I face Solomon Stane, that is my immediate future, because after all, who knows where I may come the end of this season.
Mikaela Street: What do you mean by that?
Adam Lucas: Well, Kennedy has shown that she doesn’t accept failure, and I did fail at Territorial Invasion. Perhaps it’s only this title strap that’s keeping me on Showdown. Maybe someone will come to the conclusion that putting me in the crosshairs of Kassidy Heart is what is good for business… and honestly, I’d tend to agree because that’s something that cannot fester forever. All I can promise is to keep doing my best for as long as this company wants me around. I’m Showdown now, but if we know this company, nothing is forever. I was lucky enough to become Champion, and now I want to be Champion if possible, but everything has its inevitable conclusion. Only then will I decide what is next… if someone doesn’t make that decision for me. Hopefully by then I will have this title reign that I envisaged when I bested Jake Smith at Pain for Pride. Guess we’ll see.
Mikaela Street: Well, I for one hope that you remain champion for a long time, it’s good to see someone who cares about the company and doesn’t feel like he must change it.
Adam Lucas: That’s the plan Mikaela, and I appreciate that.
Mikaela Street: So, before you go any final words you would like to say to your many fans out their listening right now?
Adam Lucas: Yeah, quite simply thank you. There’s a lot of people out there telling their lies, but my fans know the truth. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today, and that might sound cliché, but it’s fact. It’s something Scott Diamond still hasn’t figured out. He just sees an ordinary guy, living the dream, without not understanding what I am capable of when pushed. He pushed me… twice. At Last Stand, he gets to learn what happens when the ‘Next Level’ pushes back. And he won’t like it… not one little bit.
Mikaela Street: Thank you Adam, and good luck.

Mikaela Street: It’s a date… well not a date. I’m sorry Dr. Bethany Blue, don’t kill me.
(Adam starts to laugh, and it is on Adam that the scene fades.)
(Showdown quickly returned back from commercials and it faded now towards the ring, as one Mikaela Street stood there with a bright smile on her face and she quickly began speaking once the camera was on her.)
Mikaela Street: Helloooooo to every lady and gentleman here on this beautiful night! As always, I am Mikaela Street and I am here for a special occasion, as I am going to be interviewing every person that is going to be participating in the triple threat at The Last Stand where each one will be fighting to showcase their wrestling ability, and without further adieu, let me invite one of the first wrestlers from the match to the ring, let me welcome, Auburn Ware!
(‘Lemme Do My Thing’ by YACHT MONEY starts playing on the speakers as the cameras panned over towards the entrance ramp, Auburn Ware quickly rushed over and waved hello towards all of the fans in the crowd as she was received with cheers from the crowd.)
Gavin Kirkland: …That is it.
Deadprez: Huh?
Gavin Kirkland: She is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, that fact has been solidified in my mind now, she has so much potential but so much talent, she has IT, she has a four letter word you can’t teach, AURA.
Deadprez: Now where the hell did this come from?
Gavin Kirkland: You just can’t reach the out of this world understanding level I have Deadprez, butt- I MEAN- But, I will give you a glimpse into it and say that even the way she walks, man, it is both good and bad to see her leave-
Eve: OOOKAAAYYY! Let’s shut that down now, and let’s focus on the fact that Auburn has indeed been on a roll ever since she debuted in Showdown, beating every person that has been put in front of her so far and she looks to add more to it as she heads into The Last Stand!
(Auburn moved quickly down the ramp, rushing as well to give a few high fives to the fans as she walked down the ramp and she made sure to embrace all of the support from the fans there before she quickly walked up the steel steps and crossed through the ropes, walking over towards Mikaela Street and greeting her in a kind way.)
Auburn Ware: Hello again Mikaela, long time no see! Well, short time no see, we just saw each other like two weeks ago, hehe.
Mikaela Street: Mhm! But it is good to see you either way again, it is going to be your first match in a Marquee Event! Are you excited? What are you looking forward to achieving there and what are your thoughts on your opponents?
Auburn Ware: Oh man, I am very much excited about it! This is just one of the first big steps that I will have on my career and I am looking forward to make sure it is a great first step, that is why I will give it my all to make sure I come out of that match with a win under my belt, as for the opponents that I am going to face in that triple threat match…well, the least we talk about Lucas the better, but for the other person I am facing in that triple threat, I-
(Suddenly, ‘We Won’t Back Down’ by Ra begins to play in the speakers as without wasting any time, Mattias Burke quickly walks out to the entrance ramp with a focused look on his face as he moves quickly to go towards the ring.)
Gavin Kirkland: …Yeah, this guy seems like a waste of space though-
Eve: And YOU are only saying it because he isn’t a woman so let me actually talk here and say that Mattias has been a good competitor ever since he debuted here in EAW, he hasn’t had the best of luck when it came to his matches but you have to respect his commitment to wrestling and him never giving up despite all of the setbacks so at The Last Stand it might be his time!
Gavin Kirkland: :usure:
Eve: Yes, I am sure!
(Mattias finally arrived towards the ring and he quickly slid inside, and as his music died down, he looked directly at Auburn with a serious expression on his face as Auburn blinked in a confused manner.)
Auburn Ware: Uhhhh, everything good?
(At that moment, Mattias’ expression quickly turned into a more calm one as he nodded quickly.)
Mattias Burke: Yeah, all good.
Auburn Ware: Oh, uh, I thought since you interrupted me and you all looked serious-
Mattias Burke: Oh! No, no, I thought it would be good to come out now when I was here, didn’t mean to interrupt you.
Auburn Ware: Ok, cool then!
Mikaela Street: Uhm, well, since you are here now then Mattias! Asking you the same questions I just asked Auburn, what are your thoughts on the match and everything else?
Mattias Burke: Well, it is fair to also say then that I am excited about the match too, it is also going to be my first Marquee Event match and even though there are some nerves there, I am not going to let them stop me, and even though I haven’t had the best of luck when arriving here in EAW, I am not going to let that stop me either, so just like the humble lady right next to me, I will give it my all to make sure I come out of that match with the win myself, and I am not going to be afraid of taking her out if I need to, no offense right?
Auburn Ware: None taken! That is the fire I want to see from you, otherwise, it would be a boring match to be in!
Mikaela Street: Great to hear those words from the both of you, so are you two cool with each other then?
Mattias Burke: Yeah, I think so.
Auburn Ware: Yeah, I believe so too!
Mattias Burke: And hey, maybe if nothing wrong happens in the next 3 seconds, we might be able to be friends too-
(Just then, ‘Ready To Die’ by The Notorious B.I.G starts playing and right before the camera cuts to the stage, both Mattias and Auburn can be seen mouthing the word “fuck” at the same time. Lucas Johnson now storms out into the entrance ramp with a microphone on his hand and clearly looking very angry as he starts shouting while his music plays.)
Lucas Johnson: Auuuubuuuurrrrnnnnnnn! AAAUUUUUUBUUUUUUURRRNNNNNNN!!
Deadprez: :skip:
Gavin Kirkland: :skip:
Eve: Yeah, I don’t even know what to say to this.
(Lucas continues shouting for Auburn as he moves quickly down the ramp, walks up the steel steps, and enters through the ropes with Mattias and Auburn standing there incredibly confused as Lucas’ song finally dies down and he once again speaks up.)
Lucas Johnson: AAAAAUUUUUUUBUUUUURRRRNNNNNNNNN!!!
Auburn Ware: I AM RIGHT HERE IN FRONT OF YOU!
Lucas Johnson: Oh, there you are. You think that once again I would let you talk crap about me while I wasn’t here? Because if you thought so, then you are completely WRONG!
Auburn Ware: What have I even done to you to deserve this?!
Lucas Johnson: EVERYTHING, NOW-
Mikaela Street: Hey Lucas, do you think I can interview you as well since that is my job-
Lucas Johnson: THIS DOESN’T INVOLVE YOU, MIKAELA!
Mikaela Street: Okie dokie!
Lucas Johnson: Now, as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, I know your tricks Auburn, I know what you are trying to pull here making this good girl persona to fool every person here in EAW, but ME?! I see right through you! I know you are a rotten apple just like the rest of us and it won’t take long before you end up showing your true self, because you are jealous of me, jealous of the newfound power that I have as The Chosen One, and it is clear you want to take that away from me, that is why you decided to bother my new best friend Kennedy with the objective of getting more power to yourself, but I was there to stop it in time and now, it is my duty that I STOP YOU AT THE LAST STAND, for myself, Kennedy, and all the little Lucas Johnson believers out there!
(The crowd boos heavily at Lucas’ rambling as he nods along thinking they are cheering for him and then he points to someone in the crowd.)
Lucas Johnson: And I’ll even do it for you, little girl holding a sign! I don’t know Japanese but I know damn well that says Lucas Johnson section, hell yeah!
(The camera panned to the little girl with the sign in Japanese, and it actually translated to “Auburn Ware Section”.)
(Meanwhile Mattias was still there incredibly confused and all Auburn could do was just facepalm after hearing all of that from Lucas.)
Mattias Burke: Hey dude, I think you should take a chill pill-
Lucas Johnson: I beat you already, therefore, your opinion doesn’t matter to me anymore!
Mattias Burke: …I think that is not how human speech works-
Lucas Johnson: SHUT UP MATTOLOMEW!
Mattias Burke: MATTIAS! Yeah, Auburn, I think this dude has gone insane.
Auburn Ware: Yeah, I noticed a long time ago myself…
Mattias Burke: Maybe we should just leave quietly while he is rambling on.
Auburn Ware: I agree.
(Mattias and Auburn now slowly start to move away towards the ropes while Lucas continues to ramble on about other thing, they slowly go through the ropes and move to get to the ring apron but-)
Eve: WAIT, LUCAS SUDDENLY TURNS OVER AND THROWS THE MICROPHONE HE HAD RIGHT AT MATTIAS’ HEAD! Mattias falls to the floor at ringside and Auburn is taken off guard by that, as Lucas suddenly rushed over to grab her from her hair and pull her back inside of the ring!
Deadprez: And now he is just starting to pummel the poor lady with strikes and not holding back at all!
Lucas Johnson: (off-mic) YOU THOUGHT YOU COULD JUST RUN AWAY FROM YOUR PROBLEMS?! I am the biggest problem of your career that you will ever face and I will be the one to overwhelm yo-
Eve: Wait, someone is running down-

Deadprez: LUCAS RUNS OUT OF THE RING, JUMPS THE BARRICADE AND RUNS THROUGH THE CROWD TO GET FAR AWAY FROM AJAX! AJAX slides inside and checks on Auburn to see if she is ok, and Mattias finally recovers and enters the ring himself, shouting insults at Lucas as he runs away!
AJAX: (off-mic) You ok, pretty lady?
Auburn Ware: (off-mic) Y-Yeah, thank you…
(AJAX helps up Auburn and Mattias rushes over to see if everyone was ok as suddenly, from the entrance ramp, Kennedy Street would come out with a curious expression on her face, and she quickly begins speaking in the microphone.)
Kennedy Street: AJAX, you worried me a lot when you suddenly ran out of the office like that, you shouldn’t interfere in other wrestler’s businesses unless I ask you to but it makes me proud in a way that you didn’t stay by and let Lucas attack one of my wrestlers like that so you know what? For Lucas’ actions, Kennie is going to make your triple threat match much more interesting, because now there will be a special guest referee for the match and it will be AJAX!
(The crowd cheers at the sudden revelation, as Lucas is shocked and livid over at the top of the stairs of the crowd area and AJAX smiles to himself, happy that he has a chance to get back at Lucas. And so, AJAX, Auburn and Mattias stare down at Lucas from over the ring while Lucas grows angry staring back at them, and then Showdown fades away to commercials.)
(Kamikaze – RedHook plays as Daryl Kinkade walks out and is immediately showed in boos. He soaks in the reaction playing into it while taunting some fans on his way to the ring.)

Gina Romano: AND HIS OPPONENT…FROM OKINAWA, JAPAN…WEIGHING IN AT 121 POUNDS…ACCOMPANIED BY MIKU SAKAI….SHE IS “THE DREAMING IDOL”…..HIKARRIIII KAANNOOO!!!!

Eve: Right away Daryl is suspicious of Miku at ringside telling her to mind her business and to back up as Miku has her hands up saying she’s just here for support.
Deadprez: And this match between Daryl and Hikari is underway as they both step out of their respective corner as Miku is shouting some advice up at Hikari. They circle the ring just staring at the other and this should be one hell of a match between two of the best this roster has to offer just hungry for a huge win as they both now step towards each other in the center of the ring holding their right hands up looking for a little test of strength to start the match off and they lock hands for a brief moment but quickly back up and circle the ring just waiting on the other to make the first move. After several moments, the two finally lock up in a collar and elbow tie-up looking to get the upper hand on the other! It seems to be a struggle for a moment or two before Hikari looks like she manages to gain control over him and get him in a side headlock before flipping him forward on his back, but then Daryl immediately fights back as he uses his legs to clip the head causing her to let go as they race back up to their feet and Hikari charges at him with a full head of steam – BUT DARYL COUNTERS WITH A FLAPJACK AS SHE HITS THE TURNBUCKLE FACE FIRST!!
Eve: Daryl looks to take advantage here as he drives his forearm right into the back of her head as hard as he can repeatedly before running off the opposite corner and drives both knees into the back of Hikari! He doesn’t stop there as he runs up behind Hikari and delivers a German suplex as Hikari lands hard on the back of her head. Now Daryl looks to take advantage as Hikari crawls over to the corner on her knees and Daryl runs off the ropes full speed and drives both of the knees into the back of Hikari before dropping her with a jumping neckbreaker out of the corner. Daryl looks to be proud of his work in the early goings as he poses to the crowd briefly before turning his attention back to Hikari. Hope he knows it’s never a good idea to take your eyes off a competitor as dangerous as Hikari.
Gavin Kirkland: He goes and picks her up by the head – AND WHAT DID YA TELL US? You warned it wasn’t a good idea taking your eye off Hikari and now she looks to make him pay for it AS HIKARI DELIVERS A FEW SHOTS TO THE RIB CAGE BEFORE SHE SLAPS HIS HANDS AWAY AND DELIVERS A STIFF FOREARM THAT DROPS HIM DOWN TO A KNEE WHICH SEEMS TO HAVE CAUGHT DARYL A BIT OFF GUARD! Hiksri looks to firmly take control of the momentum now as Hikari then repeatedly drives her elbow straight into his face like she’s got some vendetta against him as Miku shows her support from the outside. Hikari grabs him by the head and repeatedly rams her knee into the face of Daryl before running off the ropes and hits a shining wizard to the back of the head and Hikari feels momentum on her side as she begs for Daryl to stand up measuring him up early. Daryl is back up and turns around to Hikari who picks him up in a fireman’s carry….BUT DARYL SLIPS OUT FROM BEHIND AND RUNS RAMMING HER INTO THE CORNER BEFORE LOOKING FOR THE ROLL UP –
Gavin Kirkland: Hikari though holds on to the turnbuckle and Daryl falls backwards and rolls back up to his feet and charges at her in the corner….but Hikari stops him in his tracks with a kick to the midsection as he stumbles back a few feet…AND THEN HIKARI HOPS OFF THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE AND HITS A SPRINGBOARD ENZIGURI KICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD AS DARYL DROPS DOWN TO A KNEE NOT HAVING A CLUE ON WHERE HE IS, BUT POPS UP OUT OF NOWHERE AND RUNS AT HIKARI FULL SPEED OUT OF PURE DESPERATION, BUT HIKARI SENDS HIM FLYING OVER THE TOP ROPE WITH A BACK BODY DROP, AND HIKARI DOESN’T STOP THERE AS SHE CLIMBS UP TO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE BESIDE HER AND THEN DELIVERS A PICTURE PERFECT MOONSAULT ON TOP OF DARYL ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING!! Hikari looks to have all the momentum in the early goings here as Miku screams at Daryl on the outside fired up.

Eve: Miku is trying to tell Hikari to get him in the ring and take full advantage and that looks like that’s exactly what she’s doing as she gets him up and rolls him back in the ring and now begins to stalk Daryl from behind as he slowly stumbles back up to his feet like a predator does to its prey – AND HIKARI RUNS AND TAKES HIM OUT WITH A RUNNING KNEE STRIKE BEFORE CRAWLING OVER AND GOING FOR THE COVER!

Deadprez: And there’s the kickout from Daryl as Hikari right away transitions into a cross armbreaker as if she was expecting it! Daryl is like a fish out of water in a panic as Hikari looks like she is about to pull the arm out if it’s socket, but Daryl drags himself over to that bottom rope inch by inch and reaches out with his free hand….AND HE GRABS IT! Hikari is forced to key go of the armbar as Daryl tries his best to scoot away and get out of the ring….but Miku gets in his way as he doesn’t look all too thrilled about it!
Eve: Daryl can’t escape the ring as he stands up yelling something at Miku who didn’t let him leave the ring….BUT LOOK OUT!! Daryl turns around and Hikari goes for a big boot to the face, but Daryl manages to duck underneath it before running over the ropes….AND HE RUNS AND DELIVERS A RUNNING KNEE OF HIS OWN THAT DROPS HIKARI! Daryl doesn’t stop there as he runs over to the corner and ascends up to the top rope. He looks down over at Miku at ringside who has her hands up in innocence as….HE JUMPS OFF AND DELIVERS A FROG SPLASH ON TOP OF HIKARI!! Man what elevation he got on that frog splash as now here’s the cover from Daryl!!

Deadprez: And now it’s Daryl who tries to immediately transition into a submission here as he drops Hikari down to the mat and goes to lock in his “Shut up Bruv” crossface submission….But Hikari is trying any way to get out of this as she holds her head down before delivering back handed elbow shots of her own which causes Daryl to let go of his grip as Hikari quickly crawls away and pulls herself up in the corner. Deadprez: And now Daryl steps through the rope and begins to ascend up to the top rope and what does he have in mind here? DARYL STANDS UP TALL BEFORE LAUNCHING HIMSELF OFF AND GOING FOR A FROG SPLASH – AND IT CONNECTS ON TOP OF HIKARI….BUT IT FAILS AS HIKARI GETS HER KNEES UP!! HIKARI FOLLOWS IT UP WITH THE PIN!!
Gavin Kirkland: And a kickout from Daryl and Hikari wastes no time in going back on the attack as he hammers away at the back of Daryl and drives her forearm into the back if his skull as hard as she can before picking him up off the mat, BUT DARYL SLAPS THE HANDS AWAY AND THROWS A HARD FOREARM SHOT TO THE FACE! HIKARI RETALIATES WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK AS HE STUMBLES BACK A FEW FEET! BUT THEN HIKARI RETALIATES BY HITTING SEVERAL KNEES TO THE FACE OF DARYL AND I THINK THAT DARYL HAS NO CLUE WHERE HE IS AT THE MOMENT! SHE RUNS OFF THE ROPES AND DRIVES THE KNEE INTO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD AND SHE HAS ALL THE CONTROL IN THIS MATCH AND DARYL MIGHT BE IN SOME SERIOUS TROUBLE!
Eve: Daryl though is trying his best to crawl away and slides out of the ring but Hikari isn’t letting it happen as she grabs ahold of his foot! Daryl’s upper body is already out of the ring but Hikari isn’t letting him go anywhere as Miku again on the outside assists in not letting him go anywhere. Daryl shows some anger in that as he tries to shake Hikari off his foot but it isn’t working as Hikari is trying to drag him back to the center of the ring but he’s holding on to the ring skirt for dear life! She successfully manages to drag him back to the middle of the ring but Daryl uses his free foot to kick her right in the face as she stumbles back a few feet holding her nose in some pain. Daryl takes this window of opportunity to try and scramble out of the ring again but once again Hikari runs and stops him near the corner….AND DARYL PULLS HER BY THE ARM BACKWARDS AND SHE CONNECTS WITH THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE SHOULDER FIRST!! AND THEN DARYL ROLLS UP HIKARI FROM BEHIND!!

Eve: I mean…he kinda is doing his job. If I were Daryl though I wouldn’t point my frustration at the referee and keep his attention on Hikari because she’ll make you pay within a matter of seconds.
Deadprez: Daryl ain’t happy about it but he has no choice as the match continues and he runs at Hikari who is now standing in the corner and Daryl is looking for a
running splash – BUT NOBODY HOME AS HIKARI MOVES OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND! Both of them stand up and begin exchanging blows back and forth with the other until….DARYL DRIVES HER BACK FIRST INTO THE STEEL STEPS! Daryl looks to have the upper hand back in the match….AND THEN THROWS HER SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE BARRICADE! Daryl eyes Miku before turning his attention back to Hikari ….AND DARYL RUNS SPEARING HIKARI THROUGH THE BARRICADE AT FULL SPEED!!!! :damn:
Deadprez: DARYL JUST SPEARED HIKARI THROUGH THAT BARRICADE!! Oh my god that escalated quickly and it looks like Daryl did a good amount of damage to himself in the process as he landed pretty hard on his head there. The referee checks on both of them for a few seconds on the outside but is forced to begin his count as he slides back into the ring as Miku is trying her best to get Hikari back to consciousness while laying in the rubble of the broken barricade.

(Instant replay of Daryl Kinkade spearing Hikari Kanno through the barricade as the referee continues to count from inside the ring.)

Eve: Both of them are still down in the middle of the rubble as the referee continues his count as Miku is screaming at Hikari to come to her senses but it doesn’t seem to be working as both Hikati and Daryl are still down.
SIX! SEVEN!!
Deadprez: They both are now beginning to move and show signs of life, and they both slowly crawl out from the barricade and crawl to opposite ends of the ring trying to make their way back to the ring before the count of ten but will they make it in time?!
EIGHT! NINE!!
Gavin Kirkland: They both slowly use the ring skirt to pull themselves up….will they make it in time….they both are right there…
TEN!!!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Eve: NEITHER OF THEM COULD MAKE THE COUNT IN TIME AS THEY WERE BOTH JUST BARELY MISSED IT! AND THIS ONE IS GOING TO END IN A DOUBLE COUNTOUT AS NEITHER COMPETITOR COULD ANSWER THE COUNT OF TEN! The crowd certainly doesn’t like it and who could blame them because this match was hard hitting and back and forth deserving of a true winner but it ends in a no contest.
(The crowd boos loudly at the result of a double count out.)
Gina Romano: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THIS MATCH HAS ENDED IN A DOUBLE COUNTOUT!!
Eve: It is a shame it ended this way, nobody wanted it to but each competitor threw everything they had at one another and it ended this way but neither of them should feel any shame in the process.
(The crowd boos again as a shot is shown of Miku helping Hikari up near the barricade as Daryl is seen on the other side of the ring sitting against the steel steps just disappointed and angry with how the match ended before fading elsewhere.)

( In the background we can see people from all walks of life bowling and enjoying the scenery that the bowling alley offers as the camera begins to focus on the members of Devolution. )
( In the background we can see Serenity, Halsey, and Pandora picking a lane, and further along we begin to see Jon Kelton speaking with a hostess with a menu in hand before the camera pans in catching the end of the conversation. )
Hostess: As far as American-esque food we have, we have burgers, fries, wings, and a few salads. Admittedly, we are a bit limited in that regard, but it’s still good food.
( Jon’s brows knit together. His eyes focused on the words presented before him, mostly unfamiliar to him. )
Jon Kelton: Fine. Wings, an entree salad, maybe two burgers with a side of fries to go along with them… and four glasses of water will do.
( The woman, ever so professional, smiles and gets a notepad and pen out. )
Hostess: Alright. Oh, and we do have dessert. Cheesecake.
Jon Kelton: Ah, that’s fine. Add that on.
Hostess: And… done! Would you like anything else?
Jon Kelton: Nah that’ll be it..
Hostess: No problem. We’ll have it out to your group soon.
( Her warm smile remained as she departed. By himself, Jon placed the menu down and sighed. A hand goes to rub his forehead as he stares back at the championship that was on his lap. Nothing but his own reflection greeted him back. )
Serenity Valdez: Okay, okay, now you’re getting too damn cocky for your own good.
( At the lanes, Serenity sized up the bowling ball to the pins that were all the way at the other end. Pandora smirks. )
Pandora Paisley: Cocky, me? More like confident, beloved. I know how to pick my spots.
Serenity Valdez: Yeah, yeah. You won’t be saying that when I get this strike.
( Halsey stood to the left, hand on her hip as she watched on with great intrigue. )
Halsey Neel: Try not to break your hip.
Serenity Valdez: Hey, you can’t gang up on me! It’s every woman for themselves!
Pandora Paisley: She’s right, though. You look like you’re one throw away from getting put in a hospital. Fix your form.
( Serenity rolled her eyes, but she adjusted herself, fixing her back. Pandora and Halsey laughed. )

( She concentrated on the pins ahead. With a deep breath, she stepped forward, swinging her arm back before bringing it out and letting the ball roll. It rolled, and rolled, and rolled… )

( Pandora pursed her lips, quickly quelling the laugh that threatened the laugh that got out. Serenity whipped her around in time to see her and frowned. )

Pandora Paisley: Did I? Or perhaps you got a little overconfident there, ‘Empress’.
( Serenity huffed, but stepped aside, allowing Halsey to grab a bowling ball for herself. )
Serenity Valdez: It’s fine. I mean, it was just one missed pin. I’m still going to win!
Halsey Neel: Not if I have anything to say about that.
Serenity Valdez: Pfft. Try not to break the floor this time, yeah?
Halsey Neel: Don’t worry, I won’t.
( Halsey watched as the pins were swept back before a new set came down. She rocked her arm back and forth a few times before she went for it. The ball rolled quickly down the lane. It struck the pins — but only five of them. )
Pandora Paisley: Still too aggressive, love.
Serenity Valdez: Haha! I’m still ahead of you!
Halsey Neel: For now. :francis:
Serenity Valdez: For now? You’re going to get shut out real soon. Then, I’m going to be the undisputed, reigning bowling champion of Devolution! It’ll go mighty well with my crown. 😌

( All three ladies chuckled. Halsey’s eyes shifted over to Jon, seeing him sitting, just… staring aimlessly. )
Halsey Neel: Doesn’t he want to try at least one game with us?
( Pandora’s attention quipped up to her boyfriend. His demeanor was off, a significant far cry from how he was during the start of EAW’s leg of East Asia. It did seem like for the past couple of days he was more distant. Frigid, even. Whatever was plaguing his mind, it took over him to the point where he didn’t join the rest of them. )
Pandora Paisley: Hm. Perhaps later. Maybe he’s just hungry.
( Pandora turned to Halsey, offering a smile. )
Pandora Paisley: He’s gonna need more than a snickers to get him out of that funk, I’ll tell you that much.
( Serenity looked back at Jon as well. )
Serenity Valdez: Eh, I thought it was because some jackass nearly scratched his car. I’m not gonna lie though, I’m starting to get hungry.
( Pandora grabbed a bowling ball, spinning it within her grasp. )
Pandora Paisley: I told you to eat something before we left the hotel, you didn’t listen. Either way, he ordered for us. Food shouldn’t take too long.
Halsey Neel: Mm. I never had much Japanese food, so I’m excited. Proper Japanese food, too. Should be fantastic—
( Suddenly, the phone in the back pocket of her jeans vibrated. )
Halsey Neel: Hang on.
( She pulled it out all while Pandora and Serenity carried on with their turns. She unlocked the device, seeing the text messages that were sent to her. She read each one. Her smile grew less and less with each one she saw, until it left her face entirely. )
Halsey Neel: …
( Suddenly, she felt a tap on her shoulder. Pandora. )
Pandora Paisley: Your turn, hon.
( She paused, taking note of Halsey’s change in attitude. )
Pandora Paisley: Everything alright?
( The redhead sighed, rubbing the side of her head. )
Halsey Neel: Erm, yeah. Just my mum, is all.
Pandora Paisley: Ah.
Halsey Neel: Yeah. Anyways, uh, I’ll go.
( She stepped back up and got a ball. She could hear Serenity chortle. )
Serenity Valdez: You’re pretty much gonna have to get a strike here, you know. The margin for error isn’t all that kind.
Halsey Neel: Yes, I got it. Hush now.
( Halsey did her best to focus on the pins. She let the ball go, watching it roll down the lane…)
(The veer to the right…)
(Completely missing the pins.)
Serenity Valdez: Told you.
(Halsey groaned.)
Halsey Neel: Fine. Guess that means I’m out.
(Serenity chuckled, eyeing Pandora.)
Serenity Valdez: Now I get to come straight for you.
Pandora Paisley: In your dreams.
(Halsey heads off away from the two, taking her seat opposite of Jon. She looks over at him, seeing how blanked-out he looked.)
Halsey Neel: Something on your mind, Jon?
(He shrugs.)
Jon Kelton: Too much, Halsey. Way too much.
(He’s able to break away from the championship to look up at her.)
Jon Kelton: Seems like the same thing could be said for you.
Halsey Neel: Just got a call, is all. Been thinking about it.
(He frowns.)
Jon Kelton: Is it bad news?
(Halsey pauses.)
Halsey Neel: Uh, no, not necessarily. Just… something I won’t be able to avoid, is all.
(Jon slowly nods.)
Jon Kelton: Well I hope everything is alright with you.
( Halsey musters up a promising smile before replying. )
Halsey Neel: And I hope the same for you. What’s on your mind anyway?
( Jon thinks to himself for a moment before he begins to speak. )
Jon Kelton: My defense this week against Madison I –
Halsey Neel: You’re having doubts? You’re going to steamroll through her, I just know you are.
Jon Kelton: No, it’s not that. I know I can beat her. It’s just, after hell inevitably it’ll be someone else. And then someone else, and so on and so forth. And I’m not afraid to defend my championship. I’m not afraid to lose it either. But I do wonder what happens if I do.
Halsey Neel: I don’t understand. What do you mean?
Jon Kelton: Well no one can be champion forever. And I don’t want to be like Donovan Duke and have a year-long run with this championship, and in the long run that’s all people ever know me for. I don’t want my peak to be the National Elite Championship.
( Halsey begins to shake her head softly almost as if to let Jon know that she understands where he’s coming from. )
Jon Kelton: I’m not trying to bring down the mood or anything, nor am I trying to make anyone else feel like what I’m thinking is their problem. But I can’t shake the feeling, you know? The last thing I want to do is let you guys down.
( Halsey pauses for a second, attempting to process what she just heard before she continues. )
Halsey Neel: Let us down? Are you serious right now?
( The camera pans to show a shot of Serenity and Pandora bowling in the background as Halsey and Jon continue to speak. )
Halsey Neel: National Elite Champion or not, you could and would never let us down. You’ve held us together in more ways than you know, and even if she’d never admit it out aloud, I can promise you that Serenity feels the same. And I’m certain that Pandora has expressed the same sentiments to you.
Halsey Neel: Your worth to us isn’t defined by your status as a champion. And truth be told, whenever you do depart with your championship it won’t be the end of the world. Because I know that you’ll find a way to get right back to the top of that mountain, and you’ll climb even higher!
( A smile begins to form on the face of Jon, as Halsey does the same, as Jon begins to reply. )
Jon Kelton: You know you’re good at that.
Halsey Neel: At what?
Jon Kelton: Telling people what they need to hear. Listening to them. All of it really.
Halsey Neel: Oh, you really think so?
Jon Kelton: Yeah, I do.
Halsey Neel: I’ve just been where you are. Trapped in my head, and there’s been plenty of times where I wish I had someone to tell me all the things I needed to hear.
( Jon notices Halsey sulks a bit in her seat after speaking, to which he stands out of his seat and addresses her. )
Jon Kelton: Well now you do. That’s the difference between Devolution and IDOL-Gun and the Ice Spices–
Halsey Neel: Ice Aces.
Jon Kelton: Yeah that’s a stupid ass name, but regardless, what I’m saying is the difference between us and them is the fact that we actually support and care for one another. Essentially we’re a family, and we act and behave as one. It’s not forced. Everything we do is by choice and we choose to trust and support one another, and that is why we’ve been so dominant, and that is why we’ll continue to be. You, Serenity, Pandora, you’re all like my family. And even though you guys annoy me sometimes– mostly Serenity, I’m glad we’re doing this together.
Halsey Neel: So am I. You know you’re not so bad at pep talks and cheering people up yourself. I think my good habits are rubbing off on you.

( Jon and Halsey share a laugh before rejoining the group, as the last shot shown is the group enjoying themselves bonding as the camera zooms out of frame before fading elsewhere. )
( Showdown has come back from a commercial break with ‘Birds With Broken Wings’ by Ben Caplan hitting the PA system, eliciting loud boos from the crowd as Solomon Stane walks out with Kirk Redwood following closely behind. He has his eyes set on the Answers World Champion, and tonight Solomon is very focused, determined to show his mettle. Solomon keeps on walking while Kirk stops by the ring, keeping a close watch on his partner wrestling alone against the formidable opponent. Gina Romano stands at the center of the ring, overseeing this match. )
Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!… INTRODUCING FIRST!… FROM THE CITY OF SIN!… WEIGHING IN AT 266 POUNDS!…. YOUR SAVIOR!…. SOLOMONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!….. STANEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
( Solomon enters the ring with a determined look on his face, locking eyes back down the titantron as he slowly steps back down into the corner. While the action is ongoing, we see the camera pan down, revealing Scott Diamond at ringside with a bag of popcorn in his hands. Scott is there watching the match, just like Kirk Redwood. Everything continues to unfold as time passes, then ‘Be Legendary’ by Pop Evil hits. Loud cheers build from the anticipation as the Answers World Champion, Adam Lucas, walks out with a serious, working-man look on his face. Adam stops by the aisle and looks to Solomon, then to where Scott is sitting, watching this match. He shifts his focus back towards the match and heads into the ring, holding the Answers World Championship belt around his waist. )

( Adam enters the ring and hands the title to the referee. On the other hand, he takes off his entrance jacket, as does his opponent. Both men come face to face at the center of the ring before they step back, away from each other, and prepare for the match to roll. )

Gavin Kirkland: The match has begun- OH! Solomon has just run out of the corner, bashing the skull of a champion with a powerful big boot, sending the champion right to the ground! Adam is already not in a good position!
Eve: It has to be a tight situation for both men to be in here tonight. Solomon isn’t here to play catch with Adam Lucas; he’s here to put down the Answers World Champion within his grasp! Solomon comes at full force, face to face with Adam, and he has been taking advantage to build up his own momentum so far. Now, he sends him to the opposite corner as Adam’s back crashes, leaving him gasping for air as he staggers out of the corner…
Gavin Kirkland: A RUNNING DROPKICK DRIVES ADAM INTO THE CORNER!
Eve: Adam now heads to the outside of the ring, and that dropkick has just left him in a devastated state. Solomon, seeing the opportunity to keep up the ambush, is now heading to the outside of the ring and comes face to face with Adam Lucas once more. He lifts the Answers World Champion up on his shoulders, and the big man looks to send Adam flying onto the crowd’s barrier!
Gavin Kirkland: Snake eye is about to plant him, but Adam is able to get out of there in time, landing both feet on the ringside ground and quickly pushing Solomon towards the ring pole! Solomon is able to pull a stop and position himself out of counterattack range in time, turning his attention back toward the champion…
Eve: DISCUS ELBOW CONNECTS! TONE DOWN THE DELIVERER!
Deadprez: And there you go, now my dawg Adam starts getting his work shifting back in and he looks to pay back what Solomon has just left behind for him. Adam is able to catch with the elbow and now sending him rolling back inside the ring. Adam follows suit, slowly picking up Solomon and tossing him down to the ropes…
Eve: DROPKICK HITS THE MARK!

Gavin Kirkland: SOLOMON IS UNFAZED! I don’t think Adam has just noticed that, as he thought he had taken down Solomon with a Dropkick, but the man still stands tall. Don’t turn back around, Adam! You’re going to meet your fate!

Gavin Kirkland: Solomon quickly grabs Adam and now sends him flying down towards the ropes as Adam switches up and sends Solomon down to the ropes…

His position has been doing well in this match so far, far better than he already is at this moment. It’s going to be a rough night for Adam Lucas!
Eve: Solomon has had his eyes eagerly set on this competition for the whole week, heading into his match left him with no doubt in winning. He must win. He wants to win. There is somehow, some way that he could win against the Answers World Champion despite his ranking and status that some might view as broken. But nothing will stop the forbidden one like him.
Gavin Kirkland: Back to his feet comes Solomon Stane with a grasp of Adam’s hair, now slowly putting him down by the corner. Solomon here leaving some space, stepping back away, and he charges for it!…
Deadprez: SWEET MOTHER JESUS!
Gavin Kirkland: OUCH! IS ADAM OKAY???
Eve: WHAT A THUNDEROUS CHOP FROM SOLOMON STANE!
Gavin Kirkland: That chop surely is pretty nasty. Wouldn’t want to be in Adam’s position if I was him right now. Solomon is surely not playing around with that one chop to signify his current position. Now, Solomon still has Adam wriggling in the corner and he starts putting Adam up to the top turnbuckle. I think Solomon is putting his sights on setting up for a great move there. We must see what comes next from there.
Eve: Both men are now on the top, Solomon there, seated atop the top rope as well with Adam seated well, preparing to witness the scenery of the doomsday. But this surely is not going to end well. It’s going to be a rough day for him to face the consequences…

Eve: What a great display of strength by Solomon just there, and it almost took Adam Lucas out earlier. Surely, this isn’t going to be a fun day for Adam Lucas, but every day that Adam has to come to work, it’s a day where he puts his work on his back and everything down on the line, so surely, nothing’s going to be so easy going heading into this commotion.
Deadprez: Adam has come to face Solomon Stane, who will do everything in their power to beat him, and he must commit the same way to getting out of this match as the winner and defending his champion’s reputation.
Gavin Kirkland: That huge exploder suplex surely puts Adam on deck, and it’s not looking great for our Answers World champion right now. Solomon returns his feet to the ground, pulling Adam back for the gorilla again, now dragging him all along and sending him back down into the corner. Adam is backed into the corner. Solomon takes a quick step back and locks eyes with him, his right hand raised up high…
Eve: ANOTHER CHOP!
Deadprez: Oh no! I think he just broke his hand!
Gavin Kirkland: Adam is able to get out of the corner and leaves Solomon landing a chop at the top turnbuckle. That’s a nasty landing for his right hand and it surely hurts for a big guy with a huge spirit like Solomon. Solomon shakes out his hand and turns his attention to Adam… A FLASH BEFORE HIS EYES! A STEP UP ENZUIGIRI CONNECTS!
Deadprez: Solomon, my brother, might be another big guy we have here in EAW, but the low blow’s a pain that’s cocking to humble him as the kick that just stunned him back. Adam returns his fight, tough round with himself confronting Solomon from behind, now turning him all around and edging him down to the ropes… A BASEMENT DROPKICK PUTS SOLOMON ONTO BOTH KNEES!
Eve: Adam is able to take down Solomon to both knees and gains some control in this motion, now heading down to the apron and both feet are down on the mat, setting sights on a big guy as Solomon slowly rises to his feet but Adam seems to be struggling to take him down. Now, pulling the ropes and looking to take flight from there!…

Eve: Adam has been getting caught and he’s about to witness “The Triumph of Truth” at the center of the ring! Solomon attempts for the sit-out Chokeslam that could put Adam ending up in a nasty spot!

Gavin Kirkland: BACKFLIPPING OUT OF IT! WOW! Adam has just pulled off the impossible, landing both feet on the ground as he counters the Chokeslam, now going face to face with Solomon, and nails him quickly with another Enzuigiri kick! Solomon faces away from Adam as now he’s holding his face that just splashed with the pain from the Enzuigiri kick! Adam comes behind, rising back from the ground and coming to get a hold of his waist, looking to plant him with a German Suplex!
Eve: Is Adam really going to do it???
Gavin Kirkland: Adam still doesn’t have enough power to do that, so with Solomon still able to capitalize on the situation and catching Adam off guard, he slams his back elbow into Adam’s face. Adam is being sent back, away, with Solomon now freed from the hold. Solomon turns back around, now running and lunging to tackle down the task in front of him!
Deadprez: DISCUS PUNCH CATCHES HIM! Adam quickly grabs Solomon and manages to propel him toward the ropes as Solomon bounces back away from the front…
Gavin Kirkland: INTO A REBOUND GERMAN SUPLEX! CAN YOU FEEL THE SHEER IMPACT OF THAT, PREZ????
Deadprez: OH YEAH! That German Suplex just sent a shiver down my spine, and when I see Adam is able to pull that off this time, it gives me goosebumps at how great he is! Solomon has finally been taken down by power, and this is not so good for him now!
Gavin Kirkland: Adam doesn’t seem like he’s going to go down with that just yet. Now, snatching both of their legs comes the champion, and he’s face to face with Solomon once more, grabbing those legs and now hoisting them all up! Adam has locked everything up according to his game plan! Adam has Solomon locked in tightly in! LUCAS LOCK! THE SHARPSHOOTER!
Eve: If you can’t lift him up, there are still more ways to roll with punches. Solomon now has been tempered under the pressure that Adam has brought to this competition. Adam lying down there and feeling the immense pain that sends him down by those legs! Nothing is feeling great for Solomon right now, but what could he be doing? Solomon must figure out a way out of this, as a misstep or a wrong move could send him down towards his own downfall if it fails!
Gavin Kirkland: This is a big brain move by Adam Lucas because as well as he has the option to use Lucas Lock right now, it might be a better way for him to win this competition quicker as well. If this works well, and able to tap Solomon Stane out, Adam might find himself in a smart route in using to beat this competitor and get out for himself as the winner. Adam there keeps the hold, right, and he loses no put more power and strength into it! Solomon lets out the cry of agony and we could tell that he’s not feeling so much content with how things are going at the moment! Solomon might have to try to get out for here as soon as possible because if not, he’s going to face the worst that he doesn’t expect!
Deadprez: There’s surely must be a way, but it depends on how Solomon is going to get out of here. You could see how Adam’s strategy goes in this competition so far against someone who is so much bigger than him by size. Adam has a bigger heart, perhaps, but in this competition, it’s hard to say that he’s going to get out for his match without a fight. Adam always brings fight into the fray, and this fray is where it lights the fiery into more fire once more as he’s going to make Solomon Stane burn right now!
Gavin Kirkland: Oh look, and now Solomon Stane starts back to shift things around and coming face to face with Adam again. He rolls back over and his body now facing Adam’s with those boots now trying to kick Adam away as they start thrashing Adam! Adam tries to resist but those boots are so powerful that Adam isn’t able to hold it for long! Adam has been pushed back and it leaves Solomon some time to recover from Lucas Lock!
Eve: Solomon now gathers some composure and power back altogether and he’s back up on his feet, facing Adam once more despite how hurt those legs are from the Lucas Lock that he has just taken. Adam rushes in quickly and looks to bring Solomon down again with Basement Dropkick but this time, Solomon is able to step aside and leave Adam sliding to the ground, hurting himself!
Gavin Kirkland: Adam misses his mark and the slide doesn’t hurt him much. Now he’s able to get himself back up to his feet, coming face to face with Solomon again, but this time, he doesn’t fail to nail him with a discus punch!
Deadprez: OH NO! THAT BROTHER IS DONE!
Eve: ADAM HAS JUST PICKED UP “CALL OF THE VOID” !!! DISCUS HAMMERSTRIKE KNOCKS THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION OUT! SOLOMON DROPS INTO A COVER!

Gavin Kirkland: KICK OUT BY ADAM LUCAS! I thought that was it! The way he’s just bashing Adam’s skull is just so hard, and it makes me scared that Adam could have been set down by the time, but he’s still alive! Adam is so strong in taking any shot as damage, building some resilience and pressure upon him!
Deadprez: You have to admit that Adam is a tough guy, especially in his Answers World Champion foray. Nothing has ever been toning him down a little; Adam has been greatly strong and always ready for what to come to his championship reputation. Adam remains a great one in this competition, and he’s still forging forward to win this competition after that kick out of his own!
Eve: Don’t forget that Solomon is still the one who stands tall above Adam at the moment, and now he’s back to his feet with a mean look in the palm of his hands. Solomon to his feet and now pulling Adam up on his shoulders, his back is leaning against his shoulder, and Solomon may be looking to land a huge one here to seal Adam’s fate! Solomon is really gunning to be the Answers World champion with this move!
Gavin Kirkland: FOR “SANITY’S SAKE” ! SPINNING CANADIAN RACK FACEBUSTER!-
Deadprez: OH THAT WAS CLOSE!
Eve: Both feet landing on the ground by Adam Lucas as he just is able to escape out of the corner, kicking Solomon into the face and now quickly kicking him back up into the air, sending him down onto the ropes again. Solomon is able to intercept and sends Adam down onto those ropes instead!
Gavin Kirkland: Solomon sent him down to the ropes but that didn’t have Adam rebounding back. Adam, both feet landing on the apron and he has everything closed in for him! Adam standing tall with such grace at the courageous fort this very moment. Adam grasping the rope tightly and looking up to Solomon, Solomon just about to turn back around, realizing Adam didn’t go back, and here comes Adam Lucas!

Adam is lighting up all the things here with his determination going off the chart right now! Deadprez: I love it man! I love watching these two going right at each other and the same can be said about the other matches as well. You know what this brand is all about, guys! It’s about wrestling, stomping our feet for a reason!
Eve: It’s surely a great match and a great win for our Answers World Champion tonight. Now he has things to look forward to, and surely it’s going to be another rough day for the Answers World Champion come face to face.
( ‘Be Legendary’ by Pop Evil plays as Adam returns to the ground with himself reviving the Answers World Championship for the referee and raising it up high with the referee raising his hand as well. Adam turns his attention to Scott, who slowly starts to stand tall and exchange eyes in contrast with him. Both men look at each other from far distance while, from the other end, Solomon has been brushed off by his partner. Lastly, the shot shows the staredown between Scott and Adam before the camera pans into a commercial break. )
(As the camera shifts backstage, we have Mikaela Street standing by with a mic in hand.)
Mikaela Street: With The Last Stand, the Showdown exclusive Marquee Event just two weeks away from Tokyo, Japan, there are a lot of exciting matches on hand including THREE Extreme Elimination Match qualifiers, grudge matches, and the Answers World Championship being defended, but there is also the Temple of Trials match, the biggest of its kind and it will consist of two teams of five. The winning team will get whatever they want from Kennedy Street. Tonight though, in just a few moments, two from each team will face each other in the Main Event to determine who has the advantage.
(Mikaela Smiles as she can hear the crowd roar in the arena.)
Mikaela Street: With that said, I would like to introduce at this time, Veena Adams along with Ashlynn Quin, ARIA, and IDOL-GUN.
(All five women come to the screen as they prepare for The Last Stand, but in just a few moments, ARIA and Ashlynn Quinn must team and co-exist against Pandora Paisley and Usagi Senshi in the Showdown Main Event.)
Mikaela Street: Veena Adams, thank you for joining me today with this team. There are a lot of questions heading into The Last Stand, there are a lot of personalities here on this team. We have Miku Sakai who will have a finals match against Minerva for the Iconic Cup, her attention will be on that this week. ARIA and Miku some say there is some bad blood between them after what was said and their tournament match. Some are questioning if Hikari Kanno is more focused on her tag team and singles run. You and Ashlynn definitely have your own goals and stand apart from the rest, so why do you think this team will work?
(Veena lets out a small sarcastic laugh at the question.)
Veena Adams: You’re cute, I mean not really but the fact that you paint us to be this team with a bunch of derelict6s that do not know their asses from their elbows is actually quite entertaining. What you see here are five women that will stop at nothing to destroy Devolution and get what they want from Kennedy Street. Everyone knows that I should have had my rematch against Jon Kelton, and the fact he is still a champion and even relevant is a sad joke in itself. Serenity being the Empress of Elite is also a joke, Halsey Neel is just a follower, Pandora runs her mouth and hasn’t done anything, Usagi was never the talented one in the Ice Aces. Does that make them more dangerous than us, Mikaela?
Mikaela Street: Not exactly, but you must admit that they definitely have their sights set on different things, and that may become a conflict of interest, while Devolution seems to all be on the same page. For example, ARIA and Miku in the Iconic Cup tournament and….
(Veena was not amused and stops her right there.)
Veena Adams: Okay… let’s stop right there, Mikaela. These two women are competitors and left everything in the ring. They know what is at stake in two weeks, they know what is at stake4 next week. No one here likes Minerva…..
(Veena turns to Hikari who isn’t too impressed.)
Veena Adams: Okay…. Maybe Hikari and ARIA because she tries to like everyone, but the truth is we are willing to put all of that aside for ONE purpose and that is to go into that Temple of Trials and win. Ashlynn knows what she has to do tonight, right Ash?
Ashlyn Quinn: I totally do! Uggolution is NOT going to have the advantage on us. ARIA and I have already made a pact and we are going to do our very best to get along. Right ARIA?
ARIA: Right. Listen Mikaela, we all five know that together we STAND and divided we Fall. We will not in any sort of way leave tonight without a win or at The Last Stand. We may not be the best of friends, Miku and I went to war a few weeks ago, but I will tell you this, I left it in the ring. She can talk her game all she wants to Minerva, I know that we will wrestle again someday, but right now, it is about being teammates, right, Miku?
Miku Sakai: Right, bitch.
(ARIA just rolls her eyes as Mikaela turns back to Veena Adams.)
Veena Adams: See, Mikaela? We are ready for anything, and it starts tonight. But let me send a little message to Devolution and especially Jon Kelton. You have what I want, Jon. That National Elite Championship should have never fallen out of my hands and into yours. But tonight, we take the first step in getting the advantage and at the Last Stand, we walk away with the win. Then? I’m not going to make it a secret, I’m taking that title back to where it belongs at the time of my choosing, Jon. There isn’t a single person here that is going to stop me from doing so.
(Veena Adams turns to Ashlynn and ARIA, IDOL-GUN flanks them.)
Veena Adams: Ladies, go out there and do not disappoint. We all know that you can beat Usagi Senshi and Pandora Paisley, they are nothing. Ashlyn, this is the time for you to prove to everyone that you have learned so much from me and that you can now elevate your game.
Ashlynn Quin: We will, long as ARIA does her part and doesn’t allow for her feelings toward Usagi influence her, then we will be alright.
ARIA: Dude…. We are straight. Tonight, it’s about getting that victory.
Veena Adams: Good, now go out there get it done.
(Ashlynn and ARIA walk off, Veena looks on proud and then over to Mikaela.)
Veena Adams: See? That is why I am the Perfect Team Captain.
(Mikaela nods as she turns to the camera.)
Mikaela Street: There you have it, let’s go down to Gina Romano and the introductions to the Main Event of the evening!
(The camera switches to ringside.)
(Showdown returns from commercial break as ARIA and Ashlynn Quinn are inside the ring after their segment with the rest of their team at The Last Stand. The two of them are talking with each other about how to approach this match. ‘DESTINY’ by Saori Yoshida is playing in the background.)

Gavin Kirkland: Everyone, welcome back to Saturday Night Showdown! ARIA and Ashlynn Quinn are already inside the ring! Just before the commercial break Veena Adams and the rest of the team at The Last Stand spoke their voices and sent a message to The Devolution and Usagi Senshi. Now, they are preparing to compete for the advantage for their team at The Last Stand!
Eve: ARIA and Ashlynn Quinn are two completely different women. It’s going to be tough to seem them gel, but perhaps, with the somewhat united front we just saw before our commercial break, it could be a good sign that these two are one the same page!
Deadprez: Not only that, but ARIA and Usagi Senshi were former partners, so they are going to know A LOT about each other! This will make the entire match more interesting than it needs to be!
(‘A Cruel Angel’s Thesis’ by Yoko Takahashi begins to play through the speakers as the crowd immediately boos as Usagi Senshi comes out with a smirk on her face. She stops on the ramp as ‘Just Stop’ by Disturbed plays soon after as Pandora Paisley stands on top of the ramp next to Usagi. The two women have a united front as they make their way down the ramp.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST…THEY ARE THE TEAM OF THE ‘MASTER OF EXCELLENCE’…USAGI SENSHI AND THE DEVOLUTION’S… ‘THE HELLCAT’ … PANDORA PAISLEY!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: My hellcat looking so tempting tonight as she teams up with Usagi Senshi! The Devolution and Usagi will be teaming up with The Last Stand! Tonight, the advantage is on the line as they would love to win this match tonight!
Eve: In comparison to Ashlynn Quinn and ARIA, it seems like Usagi and Pandora are more of a united front tonight! But, I am looking forward to seeing how all of them gel going into this match! The dynamics should be quite interesting!
Deadprez: This could be a preview of what The Last Stand can be all about! Who will the advantage be for? We’re going to see…RIGHT NOW!

Gavin Kirkland: It seems like Pandora Paisley is going to begin things for her team! We see that Ashlynn Quinn is guiding ARIA to their corner, insisting that she take control of this match! We see that Pandora and Ashlynn are looking for their first lock up of the entire match! Pandora goes straight for Ashlynn, but Ashlynn backs herself to the ropes! She’s demanding for the referee to back Pandora away from her! Ashlynn is protecting her face! She is trying to make sure that she’s all ready to get this match under way!
Eve: Oh come on, Gavin! These are some of the games that The Devolution have played in the past, so it’s interesting to see someone like Ashlynn Quinn use them to her benefit! The referee is screaming for the referee to back up Pandora Paisley! The referee seems to go along with Ashlynn’s wishes! After Ashlynn is sure that Pandora is at a good distance, Ashlynn gets her head back inside the ring! She has her arms up and prepares for the lock up but —

Deadprez: Ashlynn Quinn goes to her corner and tags in ARIA into the match! I think that ARIA was surprised by the entire thing! But, Ashlynn doesn’t want any of the smoke from the other team! ARIA takes a deep breath, trying to be the bigger person and begin this match up for herself! But, I don’t think that she was expecting for Ashlynn to pull off something like that! ARIA steps inside the ring as Pandora Paisley goes right after her, BUT ARIA DOES A MATRIX EVASION AS PANDORA SPRINTS PAST HER! ARIA GETS PANDORA IN A BACK-TO-BACK POSITION BEFORE LOOKING FOR A BACKSLIDE PIN!
Gavin Kirkland: But, Pandora Paisley manages to get herself out of the backslide attempt! She gets to her knees as ARIA goes forward, looking to hit her with a knee to the skull, but Pandora blocks the knee! She gets to her feet as ARIA rushes forward, looking to nail Pandora with a clothesline, BUT PANDORA DUCKS THE CLOTHESLINE! SHE NAILS ‘CAT’S PAW’ — HER VARIATION OF THE SUPERKICK TO ARIA, BUT ARIA DUCKS! SHE MANAGES TO LIFT PANDORA UP AND CONNECT WITH AN ATOMIC DROP, BUT I THINK THAT SOMEONE NEEDS TO TEACH ARIA A THING OR TWO ABOUT ANATOMY!
Eve: I think that it’s only purpose was to create a bit of distance! ARIA manages to connect with a dropkick to the lower spine of Pandora Paisley! She drapes Pandora on the second rope before taking steps back! She has her daggers set on Pandora before running and connecting with a meteora to the back of Pandora’s neck! She gets Pandora by her hair, but look at this! She stares at Usagi Senshi, her former best friend and stablemate! Usagi is staring at ARIA with zero emotion on her face!
Deadprez: BUT, PANDORA PAISLEY WAS SMART ENOUGH TO USE THAT AS A DISTRACTION AS SHE GOES TO ROLL UP ARIA!

Pandora manages to get ARIA to her feet AND IT SEEMS LIKE PANDORA HAS ARIA LINED UP FOR ‘CATASTROPHE’ — THE HEADLOCK DRIVER, BUT ARIA MANAGES TO TWIST HERSELF OUT OF THE MOVE! SHE HAS PANDORA BY HER ARM AS SHE CONNECTS WITH A SHORT-ARMED CLOTHESLINE AS SHE SENDS PANDORA DOWN! SHE PULLS PANDORA BACK UP AS SHE CONNECTS WITH ANOTHER SHORT-ARMED CLOTHESLINE! THIS CAUSES FOR PANDORA TO FIND HERSELF TO HER KNEES! ARIA TAKES HER BACK WITH A SUPERKICK TO THE FACE! THEN, ARIA FOLLOWS THAT UP WITH A METEORA TO HER FACE AS ARIA GOES FOR THE COVER!

Deadprez: ARIA manages to get herself out of the way! Both of the women find themselves on their feet! Pandora Paisley looks to go for a ‘Cat’s Paw,’ but ARIA manages to hold onto her foot! Now, Pandora is being quite cautious at the moment! Telling ARIA to put her foot down! But, ARIA is feeling a bit petty at the moment! She connects with a dragon screw leg whip as she sends Pandora crashing down! She sees that Pandora is crawling to her corner! But, ARIA manages to grab Pandora by her waist and take her back with a German suplex! Pandora is scrambling back to one of the corners! But, ARIA charges towards ‘The Hellcat’ with an uppercut, sending her forward! BUT, ARIA MANAGES TO CONNECT WITH A HIP TOSS! ARIA CONNECTS WITH A SHINING WIZARD, NAILING THE SIDE OF PANDORA’S HEAD! ARIA IS COOKING HERE —

Gavin Kirkland: Ashlynn Quinn tags herself back into the match! It seemed like she was going to start things off a little earlier, but she tagged in ARIA to do that! Ashlynn sees that the situation is good to insert herself too! She delivers a front flip lands lands on the stomach of Pandora Paisley! Pandora is clutching to her ribs as Ashlynn begins to apply a headlock to the member of The Devolution! She manages to slide back up to her feet, still keeping the headlock applied to Pandora! But, Pandora begins to shove Ashlynn to the vertical set of ropes, hoping that she will be able to push Ashlynn away from her! But, Ashlynn maintains the headlock! She is trying to turn herself around, keeping the headlock applied! But, Pandora is trying to shove her off! Ashlynn pulls Pandora from her hair and connects with a hair mat slam to the back of her head!
Eve: Ashlynn Quinn is basking in the spotlight! She LOVES the spotlight, Gav and DP! She grabs Pandora Paisley by her chin and throws her back to one of the corners! Ashlynn runs after Pandora, looking to connect with a handspring into a back elbow! It connects as Pandora is sent stumbling forward as Ashlynn catches her with a jumping STO as she plants Pandora down! Ashlynn with the cover!

She has Pandora by her waist as she pushes her into the ropes as she looks for a roll up into a DDT! ‘Pasadena Nights’ on Pandora! Now, that was great to see from Ashlynn, who has learned quite a lot from Veena Adams over the past year! It has been so amazing to see her grow into the woman that she is today! Pandora is looking to crawl over to her corner and tag in Usagi Senshi into the match! But, Ashlynn grabs Pandora by her leg! SHE PULLS HER BACK AND NOW, IT SEEMS LIKE SHE’S GOING TO APPLY AN ANKLE LOCK ON PANDORA! PANDORA IS HOPPING ON ONE FOOT, TRYING NOT TO LET ASHLYNN CONNECT WITH THE ANKLE LOCK IN ITS ENTIRETY! BUT, PANDORA MANAGES TO CONNECT WITH AN ENZIGURI ON ASHLYNN, CAUSING HER TO STUMBLE TO THE SIDE! SHE TAGS IN USAGI SENSHI IN THE MATCH!

Gavin Kirkland: She tags in Usagi Senshi into the match! Usagi will be making her first appearance in this match up as she’s staring at Ashlynn Quinn who is finding herself to her feet! Usagi runs after ‘The Boujee Princess’ — running dropkick to Ashlynn! Ashlynn falls back as she tries to roll to her feet! She finds herself backed against the ropes! Usagi runs towards her and connects with an arm drag, sending her across the ring! Ashlynn manages to slide herself for the landing as she finds her way back to her feet! But, Usagi runs after her and connects with a monkey flip as she flips Ashlynn into landing on her tailbone! That must have been painful there! Usagi sees that Ashlynn is holding her tailbone as she finds her way back to her feet! Usagi picks up Ashlynn and connects with a belly-to-belly suplex as Ashlynn is slammed to the mat! Usagi is looking at ARIA at the corner! She is pointing at ARIA and demanding for Ashlynn to allow her into the match!
Eve: And, Ashlynn Quinn is scurrying to her corner and tagging ARIA on the shoulder! She’s not even checking to see if ARIA wanted to be tagged into the match!

Deadprez: AND, HERE WE GO! THIS IS THE SHOWDOWN THAT I WANTED TO SEE IN THIS MATCH UP! FORMER BEST FRIENDS. FORMER STABLEMATES. NOW, ENEMIES. THE TWO WOMEN ARE CIRCLING AROUND THE RING! THEIR EYES ARE NOT LEAVING EACH OTHER! THE TWO OF THEM RUNG TOWARDS EACH OTHER AND BEGIN TO UNLOAD WITH PUNCHES TO EACH OTHER! BUT, IT’S ARIA, WHO MANAGES TO GET THE UPPER HAND ON THESE PUNCHES! SHE MANAGES TO TAKE USAGI BACK INTO THE ROPES! ARIA CONNECTS WITH SOME LEFT AND RIGHT PUNCHES TO THE STOMACH OF USAGI! But, Usagi manages to duck her head out of the ring! She is yelling at the referee to keep ARIA away from her! The referee does so as ARIA is gesturing for Usagi to fight her like a woman! ARIA more than wants this fight, but Usagi is taking a page out of The Devolution play book and proceeding with the mind games!
Gavin Kirkland: Usagi Senshi manages to duck her head back inside the ring! She was smirking as the referee was backing ARIA away! But, ARIA runs towards Usagi, looking to connect with a spear, but Usagi sends ARIA to the second rope! Usagi begins to exit the ring as she begins to connect with a series of knees to the former Specialists Champion! She is nailing ARIA with those wicked knees to the side of ARIA’s head! The one last final knee shot sends ARIA back inside the ring! But, Usagi begins to make her way to the top rope! She is stalking ARIA back to her before jumping off the top turnbuckle and nailing a missile dropkick to ARIA! Usagi finds herself back to her feet once more before following that up with a cross arm breaker! She flips ARIA into the cross arm breaker submission move! But, ARIA is kicking, preventing Usagi from hitting the move entirely!
Eve: ARIA manages to get her foot on the bottom rope and that means that Usagi Senshi must release the hold! Usagi releases the arm breaker! It’s not worth fighting to keep the move synched in on ARIA! ARIA is clutching her arm as she finds her way back to her feet! But, Usagi doesn’t give ARIA much time to rise back to her feet as she connects with a dropkick to the same arm that Usagi was targeting with that cross arm breaker! ARIA finds herself to her knees as she has her entire upper body down! SHE IS TRYING TO FIGHT THROUGH THE PAIN AS USAGI FINDS HERSELF AT HER FEET! SHE GETS BEHIND ARIA AND WRAPS HER ARMS AROUND THE FORMER SPECIALISTS CHAMPION! ‘ACE-PLEX’ — HER VARIATION OF THE GERMAN SUPLEX CONNECTS! BUT, USAGI STILL HAS A HOLD OF ARIA’S WAIST AS SHE CONNECTS WITH ANOTHER ‘ACE-PLEX!’ SHE SENDS ARIA BACK FOR THE SECOND TIME, BUT AGAIN, SHE HAS CONTROL OF THE WAIST AND CONNECTS WITH A THIRD ‘ACE-PLEX!’
Deadprez: All three of those German suplexes were hit! Usagi Senshi begins to pick up ARIA from her chin and begins to trash-talk to her! She delivers a huge slap to the face of ‘The Miracle Maker!’ She is sent down to her side! Usagi follows that up with a pump kick that takes ARIA to her back! SHE TAKES ARIA TO THE MIDDLE ROPE AS SHE BEGINS TO CHOKE HER WITH THE RING ROPE! ARIA IS GASPING FOR AIR AT THE MOMENT! SHE IS TRYING TO GET HERSELF OUT OF THIS TROUBLING SITUATION! BUT, USAGI IS REALLY LETTING ARIA HAVE IT!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! LET GO OF HER, USAGI!
Gavin Kirkland: We see that Usagi Senshi and the referee are arguing with each other, but look at Pandora Paisley! She begins to choke ARIA with the ropes behind the back of the referee! Ashlynn Quinn is screaming for the referee to turn around! Pandora begins to back away as Usagi seems to be through with the referee! Now, these are just some of the tricks that we’ve seen Pandora do with The Devolution during her matches! Meanwhile, I don’t think that anyone is going to oppose ARIA getting her butt whooped! ARIA might as well be the punching back in this match up!
Eve: Usagi Senshi gets ARIA by her hair! She is looking into the face of her former friend and stablemate! But, ARIA connects with a huge slap as that sends Usagi back! But, Usagi connects with a calf kick to the gut of ARIA! She pulls ARIA close in a front headlock before connecting with a snap suplex! But, Usagi rolls herself on top of ARIA! She gets ARIA in a front headlock again before rising back to her feet! Usagi begins to connect with a series of punches to the back of ARIA! She lifts ARIA up for a vertical suplex before rolling herself through and connecting with another vertical suplex! She rolls herself through again before connecting with another vertical suplex! This time! She picks up ARIA before dropping her on the top rope! ARIA is seesawing on her stomach, which is placed on the top rope! Now, what is Usagi planning to do next?
Deadprez: USAGI SENSHI CONNECTS WITH A GIANT DRAPPING DDT! USAGI SENDS ARIA STRAIGHT DOWN TO THE MAT! I CAN’T IMAGINE HOW SHE’S GOING TO BE FUNCTIONING AFTER THAT! USAGI CONNECTS WITH A SERIES OF PUNCHES TO HER FORMER FRIEND! SHE GOES OVER TO HER CORNER WITH PANDORA PAISLEY AND LOOKS TO TAG HER INTO THE MATCH ONCE MORE!

Gavin Kirkland: Pandora Paisley, my hellcat returns, back into this match as she gets ARIA and throws her to the ring post at the corner! The side of ARIA’s face hits the ring post at the corner! Pandora gets ARIA and throws her through the middle rope, sending her out of the ring! Pandora rolls herself out of the ring, but — Ashlynn Quinn sends herself launching with somersault plancha to the outside! She lands on Pandora Paisley as she is basking in the glory! The crowd might not like her, but they do give her credit! I just wished that she wouldn’t have landed on my precious Pandora! BUT, ASHLYNN TURNS HERSELF AS USAGI SENSHI LAUNCHES HERSELF OVER THE TOP ROPE AND CONNECTS WITH A SPRINGBOARD FOREARM, HITTING ASHLYNN TO THE FACE AND CAUSING HER TO DROP TO THE FLOOR! BUT, ARIA GETS USAGI AND RUNS HER TO THE STEEL RING POST AT THE CORNER! ARIA SAW HER OPENING AND TOOK ADVANTAGE OF IT! ARIA IS THE ONLY WOMAN STANDING AS THE CROWD IS LOVING THAT!
Eve: ARIA gets Pandora Paisley and rolls her inside of the ring! That was enough showboating for the time being! ARIA is trying to kick Usagi away from her, but Usagi pulls ARIA down as her face collides with the edge of the apron! She falls back down as Usagi finds her way back to her corner! Meanwhile, Pandora rolls herself out of the ring! She gets ARIA and throws her to the steel steps! SHE GETS ARIA BY HER HAIR AND THROWS HER BACK TO THE STEEL STEPS! Eve: No! Usagi Senshi manages to roll herself out of the ring! Now, that was smart of Usagi to do! Ashlynn Quinn is angry! She figured that the match should have ended there! Now, she needs to put effort in bringing Usagi back inside the ring! Pandora Paisley throws ARIA onto the steel steps and then goes to check on Usagi and she manages to slide something into her hands, but the referee doesn’t see it! Ashlynn rolls herself out of the ring and tells her to “shoo” as Pandora does that! Ashlynn gets Usagi and rolls her back inside the ring! Ashlynn slides back inside the ring, but look at Pandora! Pandora finds herself on the apron as Ashlynn is screaming at Pandora! The referee is yelling at Pandora to go back to her corner! Ashlynn looks to get usage up to her feet —

Eve: This is probably the worst thing that could have happened, but Ashlynn Quinn and ARIA were robbed! Pandora needed to resort to her typical dirty tricks to help the ones that she benefits from, win the match! She was the one that handed Usagi Senshi those brass knuckles!
(Pandora Paisley and Usagi Senshi are raising their hands in victory and laughing. Meanwhile, ARIA is checking on Ashlynn Quinn, who seems to be slowly gaining consciousness. ARIA is shaking her head, not believing that Usagi would resort to some dirty tricks to win.)
