Rising Star of the Week
Kylie Grace
This week’s Rising Star of the Week was Kylie Grace! Kylie Grace is a newcomer in EAW that has been unable to pick up the victories she wanted, but this all changed this week on Voltage! Kylie teamed up with Kenn Kenn, facing off against the team of Showdown’s Mary S. Atlas and Lila Vandran. In the end Kylie Grace was able to pin Lila Vandran, not just securing the victory for her and Kenn Kenn, but allowing Kylie to win her first match in EAW! One big victory is all it takes to start picking up momentum and moving your career forward, and Kylie Grace got that victory tonight. Congratulations to Kylie Grace!
Beef of the Week
Daryl Kinkade vs Sheridan Müller vs Drake King vs TLA
The Beef of the Week for this week was the fatal four way for number one contendership for the EAW World Championship! This match definitely helped to bring out the best in all four competitors from this match, as TLA, Sheridan Müller, Drake King and Daryl Kinkade all put out great promos that resulted in a fantastic back and forth. This match had a huge opportunity on the line thanks to the possible EAW World Championship match, and in the end all four Elitists did a great job of proving that they have what it takes to win this match and get the opportunity to face Minerva for her Championship!
Show of the Week
Showdown
This week’s Show of the Week was Showdown! Showdown was a stacked show this week which started off with a great match between the team of Donovan Duke and Jon Kelton, and Adam Lucas and Jake Smith. This match would also see a Champion versus Champion match between Impact and Alex Myers which led to Jack Ripley challenging Impact for his Answers World Championship, and in the main event of the show Harper Lee and Andrea Valentine faced off for the Universal Women’s Championship, before a newly returned Serena Bennett would get herself involved! This show did a lot to build towards both Territorial Invasion and Dead Men Tell No Tales, and in the end it turned out to be amazing!
Match of the Week
SOSA Henderson vs Andre Walker
The Match of the Week this time around was Dynasty’s main event, which was the match between one half of BULLETSTORM SOSA Henderson, and the Undisputed World Heavyweight Interwire Champion Andre Walker! The promos these two put out were fantastic, and in the end when they got in the ring they had an incredible match. In the end this match didn’t have a winner thanks to Joso and Ruler getting involved, but this all made for one exciting ending to Dynasty as the red brand moves forward to Poor Unfortunate Souls. This was such a great match to close out Dynasty!
Promoer of the Week
Minerva
This week’s Promoer of the Week was the EAW World Champion, Minerva! Minerva has always put out tons of interesting promos, and this week that did not change as she was put in a match against Samael, who in his own right has proven to be a both unique and dangerous competitor! Minerva’s promos this week were amazing, and Minerva made it clear that Samael is not the only one in this match that’s dangerous, and that this will go down as Samael’s biggest match yet at this point of his career. Minerva once again showed that she is without a doubt one of the most talented names EAW has to offer, and that’s something that should never be in doubt with the current EAW Champion!
Champion of the Week
Harper Lee
The Champion of the Week this week was the Universal Women’s Champion, Harper Lee! Harper this week had a Championship defense as she faced Andrea Valentine in a match that’s been building up since the start of the season, and in the end while there was a lot of controversy involved thanks to Kassidy Heart choosing to watch at ringside and Serena Bennett actually getting involved to cost Andrea, Harper Lee would retain her Championship, leaving Showdown’s main event with the Universal Women’s Championship! That was Harper’s first Championship match since winning the World title, and in the end it was definitely a big victory for her!
Most Valuable Elitist
Daryl Kinkade
The Most Valuable Elitist for this week is Daryl Kinkade! Daryl Kinkade competed in a huge match, facing Sheridan Müller, TLA and Drake King in a fatal four way to determine Minerva’s next challenger! In the end all four Elitists were laid out outside of the ring forcing the referee to count, but by the time the referee reached ten, the only person to have made it inside of the ring was Daryl! This would make Daryl the winner, and beyond that would mean that he now has the opportunity to face Minerva for the EAW World Championship, a title he has never had the opportunity to compete for in the past! This was a huge win for Daryl Kinkade and a big way to end Voltage, so congratulations to the new number one contender!
