Rising Star of the Week
Joso
This week’s Rising Star of the Week is Joso! Joso has had a very impressive run in the New Era Classic, and his his winning streak throughout the tournament would not come to an end this week as he was able to pick up a victory against Danny Tanner! Joso has had a fantastic performance throughout this tournament, and he has done a really great job establishing himself as someone to watch out for in the future, regardless of what happens going forward. Congratulations to Joso for picking up the victory!
Beef of the Week
Terry Chambers vs Jon Kelton
The Beef of the Week for this week goes to the match between Terry Chambers and the New Breed Champion Jon Kelton! This would turn out to be a really great promo battle between the two Elitists despite neither man seemingly being impressed by the other. While neither competitor would actually win the match, their promos throughout the week were definitely something for them to be proud of, as they brought a lot to the table this week and proved just what they are capable of.
Show of the Week
Voltage
This week’s Show of the Week was Voltage! This was a great night for Voltage, as we not only got some fantastic matches throughout the night such as Donovan Duke versus Kassidy Heart and the tag team match between Drake King and Ms. Extreme and Minerva and Chris Elite, but we also saw the return of the EAW Champion Myles, and the confirmation that Mr. DEDEDE will be competing against Donovan Duke at Super Voltage! This was definitely a stacked show, as Voltage continues to deliver heading towards Grand Rampage.
Match of the Week
Donovan Duke vs Kassidy Heart
The Match of the Week for this week was the match between National Elite Champion Donovan Duke and the former Answers World Champion, Kassidy Heart! This was a fantastic match as Donovan Duke once again looked to try and prove himself as Champion. Things have become very heated in recent weeks as Mr. DEDEDE looked to take Donovan Duke’s National Elite Championship, and while that resulted in the Chairman interfering at the end of the match, Donovsn and Kassidy would have an amazing performance beforehand.
Promoer of the Week
Minerva
This week’s Promoer of the Week was Minerva! This week Minerva put out fantastic promos, and while she always does, this week she had a match that was bound to be personal for her knowing who her opponents were. Facing both Drake King and Ms. Extreme, Minerva put out great promos throughout the week, reminding everyone that should she make it to the Gold Rush tournament finals, she plans to get some payback. In the end she’d pick up a victory even before the Gold Rush semifinals, as once again Minerva showed just how talented she is.
Champion of the Week
Chris Elite
This week’s Champion of the Week is one half of the Unified Tag Team Champions, Chris Elite! This week was a good week for Chris as he captured the victory, but not on his own. He was teaming up with an unlikely partner in his Gold Rush semifinals opponent Minerva, and together the team was able to pick up a victory over Ms. Extreme and Drake King. Chris Elite has had a very good run this year so far, and this Gold Rush tournament might just be Chris Elite’s chance to become a double Champion and become World Champion once again.
Most Valuable Elitist
Dr. Bethany Blue
This week’s Most Valuable Elitist was the Empress of Elite Dr. Bethany Blue! This week, Dr. Bethany Blue competed in the main event of Dynasty, facing former World Champion SOSA Henderson one on one! This was a great match between the two Elitists, and in the end Dr. Bethany Blue was able to pick up the victory, adding a very major win to her record as SOSA Henderson has always been a very talented competitor, and defeating him is never an easy feat. Congratulations to Dr. Bethany Blue!
