Rising Star of the Week
Michael Machina
The Rising Star of this week was Michael Machina! Michael Machina had a very impressive showing this week as he went up against two fellow newcomers, Nyx and Marilyn Johnson, in a triple threat match! This match was a great opportunity for all three Elitists to make an impact on Showdown, and in the end Michael was the Elitist that managed to accomplish that. Through this victory Michael Machina was able to build up even more momentum than he already has, adding to his record as he continues to establish himself as a force on Saturday nights. Congratulations to Michael Machina!
Beef of the Week
Harper Lee vs Adam Lucas
This week’s Beef of the Week was the match between Harper Lee and Adam Lucas! These two Elitists have a lot of history with each other, and on Showdown they faced off in their third match against each other. This is something that came into play throughout the week, as both Elitists put out very interesting promos both referencing their past mistakes and making it clear that they want to walk into Pain for Pride with a major victory against their opponent. This was a great week for both Elitists, as they undoubtedly did their part to make their third match just as exciting, if not even more than their first two.
Show of the Week
Voltage
This week’s Show of the Week was Voltage! Voltage this week started in very surprising fashion as Minerva laid out Yhwach O’Hara, and after this Voltage was filled with great matches as well as surprises. Sheridan Müller versus Miku Sakai, ARIA versus Theron Nikolas, Minerva versus Halsey Neel and more all stole the show. Along with this, Showdown’s Chris Elite would make an appearance, multiple Elitists would learn their fates for Pain for Pride, and there’d be another confrontation between Methuselah and Drake King. The show would also end on a shocking note, as Daryl Kinkade would snap and attack Rex McAllister. With Pain for Pride approaching, Voltage is definitely delivering!
Match of the Week
Ruler vs Bronson Daniels vs Axel Graves
This week’s Match of the Week was the triple threat match between Ruler, Bronson Daniels and Axel Graves in Dynasty’s main event! This match had high stakes as the winner would be added to the Cash in the Vault ladder match, and in the end this would turn out to be a really good match between the three. Not only was the in-ring action really great in this match, but it ended in surprising fashion as well thanks to the interference of Andre Walker! This was a really great triple threat, and thanks to this match Dynasty’s already fantastic show ended off on a very high note.
Promoer of the Week
Sheridan Müller
The Promoer of the Week for this week was Sheridan Müller! On Voltage, Sheridan was up against Miku Sakai in a preview match for Cash in the Vault, and this match delivered some fantastic promos. Sheridan’s approach to these matches have always been very unique due to her passion being towards the in-ring side of the sport, and this week that really shined in her promos against Miku. Sheridan made it clear that she’s only interested in who the better competitor is between her and Miku, and in the end this led to three great promos from Sheridan, who is preparing to enter the Cash in the Vault ladder match at Pain for Pride!
Champion of the Week
Caroline
This week’s Champion of the Week was the New Breed Champion, Caroline! Caroline has already defended her Championship on two occasions as she faced Korey Gaines and Jamie Cross, and on Showdown she had the opportunity to add a third title defense to that list as she faced Michael S. Connor. In the end Caroline would defeat her challenger, allowing her to continue her title reign heading towards Pain for Pride. Caroline has been a fantastic Champion as she is undoubtedly at the top of her game, and at this rate there’s a chance she may walk both in and out of Pain for Pride with that title. Congratulations, Caroline!
Most Valuable Elitist
Impact
The Most Valuable Elitist for this week is Impact! Impact competed in the main event of Showdown, and he had no easy opponent as he was up against a fellow Hall of Famer and a former World Champion in Xander Payne! This is someone Impact has a lot of history with, and in Showdown’s main event Impact was able to defeat Xander in a fantastic match, giving him a huge win against an Elitist that has been able to defeat him in the past. Impact is one of the most accomplished wrestlers in EAW history, and on Showdown he defeated another major name!
