Rising Star of the Week
Adam Lucas
This week’s Rising Star of the Week was the Hardcore Champion, Adam Lucas! At the Draft show Adam went up against Bronson Daniels and Ryan Wilson in a triple threat Champions Showcase match after being drafted to Showdown, and in the end the Hardcore Champion managed to capture the victory on his way to the blue brand. Adam Lucas has a lot of momentum on his side, and this was another big victory for him heading into the new season. Congratulations Adam Lucas!
Beef of the Week
Adam Lucas vs Bronson Daniels vs Ryan Wilson
This week’s Beef of the Week was the triple threat Champions Showcase match between the Hardcore Champion Adam Lucas, the Interwire Champion Bronson Daniels, and the New Breed Champion Ryan Wilson. These three had an amazing back and forth, and seeing as all three men went on to be drafted to different brands, this was a great match between the three Champions that we may not see again anytime soon. All three men delivered and showed everyone exactly why they left Pain for Pride holding the Championships they did.
Show of the Week
The Draft
This week’s Show of the Week was undoubtedly the Draft! At this show we learned the fate of the entire EAW roster, but on top of this we got tons of great matches such as the Visual Prophet versus Myles versus Dr. Bethany Blue, and the two Champions Showcase matches! We also got to see tons of debuts in impressive matches, as well as Hikari Kanno stepping up to challenge Ms. Extreme for her Universal Women’s Championship! This was a great way to kick off season 15, and if this show was anything to go by, this will be a fantastic season.
Match of the Week
Xander Payne vs Drake King
This week’s Match of the Week was the Draft show’s main event, the World Heavyweight Champion Xander Payne versus the EAW Champion Drake King! Both Elitists came off of huge victories at Pain for Pride as Xander retained his World Championship while Drake won his while retiring Malcolm Jones. This led to a huge main event for the Draft show being made, and in the end both men delivered, putting on a fantastic main event match heading into the new season.
Promoer of the Week
Jamie O’Hara
The Promoer of the Week for this week was the man that defeated Jake Smith at the Draft, Jamie O’Hara! Jamie didn’t capture the Answers World Championship at Pain for Pride and instead tapped out to Kassidy Heart, but this week showed everyone that Jamie still has not lost a step. He’s still just as good as ever, and his promos this week proved that he’s still the Ace of EAW. Jamie O’Hara is someone that could never be replaced, and with performances like this it’ll still take a lot to ever overcome him. Congratulations to Jamie O’Hara for adding another victory to his already extremely impressive resume.

Drake King
This week’s Most Valuable Elitist and Champion of the Week is the winner of the match between World Champions, EAW Champion Drake King. At the Draft he faced the World Heavyweight Champion Xander Payne in a Champions Showcase match, and in the end he was able to capture the victory just one week after defeating Malcolm Jones for the EAW World Championship. Those are two huge back to back victories, and after his performance this week and a win in the main event of the show, there’s no doubt that he is the Most Valuable Elitist.
