(The Iconic Cup Fight Grid Special opens up with highlights of the tournament so far. Favorites such as Hikari Kanno, Serenity Valdez, Harper Lee, and Ximena Velasquez are showcased, while the fighting spirits of other aspiring world champions flash across the screen. Veena Adams, Candice Blair, Sierra, Lexi, Usagi Senshi, and Kristen Myers all get their shine before the scene transitions to inside of the Border Guard Stadium in Alexandria, Egypt. The fans are going crazy as iconic blue pyro in honor of the late, great Brody Sparks goes off. Finally the camera centers on the front rows which are full of young girls and women, who have been invited by EAW to attend to promote equality across all genders. After that, we transition to the ringside area where Fight Grid commentators, Ben Knight and Clark Ruggerio, are sat.)
Ben Knight: Welcome to this special edition of Fight Grid, everyone! As always, I’m Ben Knight, and with me is my partner-in-crime, Clark Ruggerio!
Clark Ruggerio: Konbanwah ladies and gentlemen! Tonight we have a great line-up of matches as Week Five finally comes to a head. Block B leader, Hikari Kanno, will take on Lexi, while Serenity Valdez takes on Haruka Kashimashi, and Usagi Senshi battles Kristen Myers. In addition to that, we have TWO Pain for Pride rematches!
Ben Knight: Did you really just say ‘konbanwah’??
Clark Ruggerio: I’ve been watching a lot of Iron Chef America lately. Just let me live my life.
Ben Knight: Alright you Kevin Brauch wannabe. But as Clark was saying, we do have two Pain for Pride rematches. From Pain for Pride 13, Candice Blair will be looking to get revenge on Veena Adams, while the lone Block A match tonight, Harper Lee versus Sierra, is not only a battle of former Unified Tag Team Champions turned bitter enemies, but a rematch from last year’s Pain for Pride :wow:. Quite frankly, I can’t wait to see how things go down tonight, so let’s go ahead and get the action started!
(‘A Cruel Angel’s Thesis’ by Yoko Takahashi plays through the arena’s speakers. The crowd is on their feet for another hype Iconic Cup match between two extremely talented competitors. As the crowd begins chanting, Usagi steps out of the entrance’s titantron and takes a few seconds to pose on the entrance stage. In Japanese style, she greets everyone with a happy demeanour, which is also reciprocated by those around her. She dances her way down the entrance ramp as she simultaneously gives the crowd high-fives. Jumping on the ring’s apron, she shakes her arm with glee, raising it above her head.)
Maria Del Ray: The following contest is scheduled for One Fall! Introducing first, from Fukuoka, Japan… she is the CRRRYYYYYPTICCCC ACCCEEE, UUUUUUUUUSSSSSSAAAAAGGGGI SENNNNNNNSSSSHHHHHI!
Ben Knight: Usagi looks ready, focused and strong. All three qualities you need to make it far in the Iconic Cup, and despite Usagi’s losses in the cup, she’s looking to get a win tonight. I don’t see any reason why she should not, especially if she maintains this attitude all throughout.
Clark Ruggiero: That’s absolutely right, Ben. Usagi is one of the hardest hitters in this whole company, woman or man. Kristen has her hands full with her overwhelming speed, striking ability and grappling power. It’s going to be interesting to see just how well Usagi can fight her off, especially knowing how fast she is.
(‘A Cruel Angel’s Thesis’ fades out of the speakers and is instantly replaced as ‘Flying On My Own’ by Celine Dion plays through the speakers of the titantrons and those around the stadium. The crowd isn’t as excited for Kristen, but showed some excitement and positivity as she makes her way to the entrance stage. There, she begins posing a little bit before walking down the entrance ramp and eyeing down Usagi. She isn’t shown to be easily intimidated despite her size, and jumps up the apron and enters the ring.)
Maria Del Ray: And her opponent, from Aurora Colorado, weighing in at 95 pounds… she is the 5 Foot Wonder, KRRRIIIIIIISTTTTEN MY
Ben Knight: Speak of the devil, Clark. Kristen looks rather focused as well, and both women look like they aim to kill. As we know, Kristen is a fast and agile competitor, and despite her size, she’s shown she can hang with the big ones.
Clark Ruggiero: Absolutely, Ben. Despite Kristen’s inactivity, she’s picked up the pace when it counts and it will be interesting to see if she’s learned a thing or two from her loss against Candice Blair.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Ben Knight: And we are off! Both ladies staying in their corners as Usagi makes the first move, offering a handshake. Both ladies accept it and head back to their corners. They look focused and ready to go, and both ladies go for a collar elbow tieup! Usagi showing her strength superiority, but Kristen wiggles down for a waistlock, looking to shove Usagi into the ropes!
Clark Ruggiero: Usagi went running into the ropes, but Kristen should probably be a bit more worried than she is now! Kristen doesn’t see it coming, but Usagi strikes her with an elbow smash, staggering her closer to the ropes and looking to set up Kristen’s descent to the cold outside!
Ben Knight: Kristen is barely hanging on by the ropes, but Usagi is clearly not looking to give her any space to breathe! She rebounds off the ropes and lands a powerful dropkick, flipping the 5 Foot Wonder over the ropes and on the outside!
Clark Ruggiero: Kristen looks heavily dazed for this match. She looks lost out there! Referee might have to throw in the towel if it gets bad! It’s clear that Usagi is on a roll, and she’s looking to continue that! She rebounds off the ropes and is looking for a suicide dive! It connects! Usagi stands on a knocked down Kristen, before lifting her up and throwing her back inside the ring!
Ben Knight: Usagi wants to continue this onslaught of just pure dominance, and we don’t blame her. Despite Kristen’s size, she’s still someone who can deal with the long game. Usagi rolls back inside before the referee can begin counting, and pulls Kristen up into an upright position, and begins pummeling her with forearm blows to her spine! That doesn’t look good, Clark.
Clark Ruggiero: I see why, Ben. Kristen’s looking like she has no chance in hell, but hopefully the 5 Foot Wonder can pick it up! Usagi tucks her head in between her arm and lifts her up for a DDT! Kristen just got planted on her head and she has absolutely ZERO answer for anything Usagi is throwing at her. Usagi goes for the cover, knowing that Kristen is just knocked the hell out.
Referee: OOOOOOOOOONNNNNEE!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOO-
Ben Knight: AND KRISTEN KICKS OUT! Maybe she does have more fight left in her than we think, and Usagi is confused! Kristen’s not doing very well, though. Usagi pulls her into a DDT position, but Kristen shoves her into the ropes! Usagi tries to use this to rebound off the ropes, but Kristen jumps up into a dropkick! Usagi just got floored!
Clark Ruggiero: Maybe Kristen has more in her than we realize. She knows that she has to be faster than her opponent, and she’s aiming to do exactly that! Usagi pulls herself up into an upright position, and despite getting a second of breathing room, Kristen jumps up into a backflip, before locking Usagi’s head in for a backflip headscissors takedown! Good Lord!
Ben Knight: Like we said, maybe she has more in her than we think. Kristen knows that she has the momentum, and Usagi is dazed, lying on the turnbuckle! She crawled her way to the corner and tried to rest, but Kristen is turning the tables on her! She jumps up on the top turnbuckle and pushes her legs against Usagi’s face! What a move! Usagi looks like she’s in deep waters, and she certainly hasn’t expected it at all! Kristen has the crowd behind her, and pulls Usagi up for a knife edge chop!
Clark Ruggiero: Damn, Kristen looks better and better as the match goes on, and it definitely comes from her gymnastics background! Her cardio must be insane right now, really. Miles away from her performance against Candice Blair, and perhaps she might gain some momentum in the Iconic Cup! Usagi is using the ropes as leverage, and Kristen goes for a clothesline to take her out of the ring-
Ben Knight: BUT USAGI PULLS THE ROPE DOWN! Kristen should’ve been launched over the ropes, but she knows it can’t happen again. She holds on to the top rope, and flips over the ropes, but is met midway with a kick to her chest! Usagi is using her martial arts prowess to help her gain the advantage once more! We are witnessing a potential five star classic if the match goes on like this! Kristen’s using her gymnastics background to hold onto the ropes, but Usagi grabs her, forcing her to release it!
Clark Ruggiero: Despite how durable Kristen is, let’s not forget that she’s lighter than a lot of wrestlers. Usagi was looking for an opening, and she has damn sure found it! She gets her up to face her, and pulls on her trunks from over the rope, and lifts her up for a suplex over the top rope! Jesus Christ! Usagi is showing some incredible strength tonight!
Ben Knight: Indeed, Clark. Usagi being absolutely relentless in her attacks, every single strike having intention to kill! Kristen might be back where she left off, and Usagi is right back in her domain. Usagi goes for the cover!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOONNNNNEE!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOO!

Clark Ruggiero: And Kristen kicks out! What in the world? How can a human being endure so much punishment? Pro wrestlers are not human, not at least compared to others. Usagi looks shocked, almost like she didn’t expect her to have that much fight! Kristen is rolling out of the way, but Usagi picks up the pace and pulls her by the hair, but Kristen comes in with an elbow shot to the body!
Ben Knight: Usagi lets go of her hair, but Kristen follows up with a shove of her own! She’s giving herself some distance before rebounding off the ropes into a flying crossbody! Usagi just got flattened like a pancake, and it’s clear that Kristen wants to win just as badly as she does! Kristen goes for the cover, looking to end it right here!
Referee: OOOOONNNNEEE!
Referee: TWWWWWOOOOOOO-
Ben Knight: And Usagi kicks out! Kristen doesn’t bother to be shocked, but instead picks up her own pace and climbs up the top rope, eyeing Usagi down! Kristen takes in the cheers from the fans, before crashing down onto Usagi with a Diving Leg Drop!
Clark Ruggiero: It was only a matter of time before one woman took it to the skies, and it so happens that Kristen is THAT woman! Kristen doesn’t go for the cover, but instead begins stomping at the chest of Usagi! She wants to go for an onslaught of her own, and this is how she plans to start it! Usagi is just getting rained down upon, and Kristen stops! She knows she can’t win by stomps alone, but Usagi is right there! Usagi picks herself up out of pure adrenaline, and as Kristen turns around, she’s met with a kick to the gut!
Ben Knight: This doesn’t look good for Kristen at all. It doesn’t, and Usagi has got her in a powerbomb position! She lifts her up for the powerbomb, but throws Kristen down onto Usagi’s knees for the Lost in Fire! Good grief, that must’ve hurt, BAD.
Clark Ruggiero: Usagi knows that she has beat her in terms of damage done, but wants to reinforce that a little bit more! Kristen is holding onto her spine, but Usagi begins raining down elbows on her! She’s just displaying how much violence she can truly hold inside her, and Kristen is still trying to fight her way into a victory! She rolls closer to the ropes, and despite the back pain inflicted on her, she uses the ropes as leverage!
Ben Knight: Usagi must know that Kristen can take more than what meets the eye, but Kristen must also know how much punishment Usagi can dish out! Kristen knows her success is in the skies, and as she ascends to the top rope a second time, Usagi is now in a standing position! She has her where he wants her, and Kristen jumps off for a Corkscrew Crossbody! She goes for the cover!
Referee: OOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEE!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Referee: THHHHHREEEEE-
Ben Knight: OH AND USAGI KICKS OUT AGAIN! Both women just throwing their bodies at each other hoping for a miracle win, but the unstoppable force is meeting the object that won’t stop coming back to life! Not my best analogy, but let it slide for now.
Clark Ruggiero: I most certainly will, but both women have given it their all and are down on the canvas! The crowd begins banging on the railings, hyped up by these two talented individuals! They’re both reaching for the ropes, and both of them get up at the same time! Usagi and Kristen are wiping any signs of blood and saliva off their lips, and Usagi seems like she’s looking to grapple with Kristen!
Ben Knight: Kristen however is not having it, and wants to use her speed. Usagi is smiling, begging her to come run at her. Kristen pays no mind, and is looking for a front dropkick, but as she runs, Usagi lifts her leg for the FAAAATAAALITY! Usagi just knocked her out with that Running Bicycle Knee! She goes for the cover!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNEEE!
Referee: TWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!
Referee: THRRRRRRRREEEE!

Maria Del Ray: And your winner by pinfall, USAAAAGIIIIIII SENSSSSHIIII!
Ben Knight: Woah. That just happened, and I’m sure everyone was close to surprised that it did. That knee knocked Kristen the fuck out, and Usagi looks happy that she got a well deserved win!
Clark Ruggiero: She’s been working extremely hard for this moment to come, and now that it did, she’s basking in the glory.
(Usagi celebrates on the outside, as Kristen tries to roll out, as she’s attended to by some medical staff.)

Ben Knight: Here come the Golden Niece of our boss, Veena Adams. So far, Veena has been setting a good score for herself in her block and tonight she looks to continue that. Will she be able to continue the momentum?
Clark Ruggiero: Veena’s Gameplan towards this is basically to be herself and do whatever she wants to win this whole thing. Tonight is going to be another night for her not to give a damn but would that work against Candice Blair? Let’s see what she got here for her.
( Veena arrives in the squared circle as “Diva” by Beyoncé replaces Veena’s theme music as Candice Blair makes her GORGEOUS way down to the ring while Veena gives Candice a disgusting look from the ring. Candice waves her hand to the crowd around her and enters the ring.)

Ben Knight: Recently, Candice has been busy with finding Danny Tanner but right now, she has to focus on this match against Veena Adams here tonight to collect some points back home.
Clark Ruggiero: Since Veena doesn’t really care about her opponents and how they feel, would you say that might help Veena win this bout, Ben?
Ben Knight: It’s definitely possible! Veena clearly doesn’t have any care or sympathy for what Candice is going through and that “take no prisoners attitude” could give her the edge!

Ben Knight: The bell rang, and both women hopped off their corners… All of a sudden, Veena charges Candice to take her down quickly with a cartwheel kick but Candice moves out of her way. Clark Ruggiero: VEENA IS STILL GETTING BACK TO HER FEET BUT CANDICE COMES ALL THE WAY DOWN OVER THE ROPES AND SMACKS VEENA WITH A SHOOT KICK TO HER JAW AGAIN FROM THE APRON!!! Candice jumps off the apron, picks Veena up and throws her back inside the ring. Candice rolls back inside the ring while Veena is still picking herself back to her feet. Ben Knight: Candice runs to Veena at full speed but Veena turns her attention to Candice in time and catches her in a mid-run with a destructive kesagiri chop! Ben Knight: Haruka Kashimashi hasn’t had the best luck in this Tournament, first losing to Usagi Senshi on Week One, and would continue to suffer loss after loss, before getting the best of Kristen Myers! Now tonight, he looks to pull off an upset, beating Serenity Valdez and halting Serenity’s momentum even more!
Clark Ruggerio: But that will be a hard task, as Serenity Valdez has been nearly unstoppable in this Tournament. For Haruka Kashimashi to win to be known as an upset tonight will be an understatement, as she will have to catch Serenity in the right place at the right time.
(‘CALLING’ would fade away, as ‘Dolla Sign Slime’ by Lil Nas X would begin to blast through the speakers, the positive reaction instantly being drained away with heavy boos, as Serenity Valdez would cockily walk through the curtain. Serenity looking extra confident would begin to walk down the Ring, as she would roll in taunting Haruka Kashimashi before backing into her corner.)

Ben Knight: Serenity Valdez has been an absolute roll in this Tournament, as she has been getting win after win, and there wasn’t any signs of stopping! However on Voltage last week, Serenity’s momentum would be halted, as she would lose to Hikari Kanno due to Ximena Velasquez.
Clark Ruggerio: But tonight she looks to get back on track, beating Haruka Kashimashi, but that won’t be a very easy task! Haruka may not have had the best luck in this Tournament, but she is still very competitive, and she can catch you with an upset at any time.

Ben Knight: HERE WE GO! Haruka Kashimashi out of the gates runs full speed ahead at Serenity, as Serenity meets here in the center of the Ring, but Haruka catches Serenity with an armdrag! Serenity Valdez falls down, but she is able to quickly move back up to her feet where she grabs Haruka’s arm and hits an armdrag of her own, holding onto it and looking for an Armbar! But Haruka is able to quickly get herself out of the predicament, and both Elitists get back up to their feet and stop in the middle of the Ring. We have a stalemate early here!
Clark Ruggerio: But Serenity doesn’t allow it to last for long, as she kicks Haruka right in the gut, and slams her down to the mat by the hair! The Referee warns Serenity, but she shrugs it off as she now moves in and starts to stomp Haruka Kashimashi right in the chest. Haruka is trying to roll away, but Serenity drops down, and she drives her knee right into the side of Haruka, before going for the early cover here!

Ben Knight: Easy kickout by Haruka Kashimashi, and she quickly rolls to the ropes to avoid any more damage done by Serenity Valdez! The Referee keeps Serenity at bay, as Haruka is able to make her way back up to the feet, and the Referee waves it off, letting the Match continue as Serenity walks back towards Haruka-..HARUKA CATCHES SERENITY WITH A SUPERKICK TO THE LEG! Serenity falls down to her knees, as Kashimashi rebounds a bit off the ropes..BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A METEORA! Haruka quickly gets back up to her feet, as Serenity rolls onto the apron.
Clark Ruggerio: Haruka Kashimashi knows just how much this Match could do for her, and she is looking to capitalize as Haruka exits onto the apron with Serenity-..BUT SERENITY GRABS HARUKA AND BACKS HER SPINE FIRST INTO THE RING POST..BUT WAIT HARUKA WAS ABLE TO KEEP THE MOMENTUM, AND SHE DROPS DOWN AND HITS A DDT TO SERENITY VALDEZ ON THE APRON! Haruka pushes Serenity into the ring, as she climbs up to the top rope..AND HARUKA IS LOOKING TO END IT EARLY WITH THE ‘PRODIGIOUS LANDING’-
Ben Knight: But Serenity Valdez rolls out of bounds and that forces Haruka to jump down from the top rope and back into the Ring. Haruka takes the moment to allow Serenity Valdez to get back up to her feet..but she doesn’t allow Serenity to get any breathing room as Haruka runs straight for Serenity and jumps in the air as she catches Serenity with a jumping DDT!! Serenity’s head gets planted into the mat, and Haruka also had a pretty bad landing, as her back clipped the elbow of Serenity. This makes it so Haruka is unable to capitalize, as she backs up to the rooms to stretch her back out.
Clark Ruggerio: Serenity Valdez starts to crawl around, and Haruka Kashimashi notices it, as she starts to walk towards Serenity-..but Serenity catches Haruka with a drop toe hold, quickly getting back up to her feet as Haruka falls down..and Serenity drives her knee right into the part of the back that Haruka clipped against her elbow, and I think Serenity has a target now, as she begins to elbow, and dig into the back of Haruka! The Referee breaks the two apart, but Serenity just goes right back onto the attack as she stomps right on the head of Kashimashi, before taking the moment to taunt-..BUT WAIT! Haruka kicks her off, as both Haruka and Serenity make their way up to their feet, and Serenity runs at Haruka..but Haruka ducks down, grabbing the ropes and sending Serenity back to the outside. Serenity quickly is able to get back up to her feet..BUT LOOK OUT! The Referee pulls Serenity away, as Haruka is trying to get back up to her feet..but Serenity kicks Haruka right into the gut! This Match has been amazing since the get go, and there is no signs of starting as this sprint is only going to keep picking up, as Haruka Kashimashi is able to get back up to her feet.
Clark Ruggerio: But Serenity Valdez is able to meet her as she grabs Haruka by the arm, before throwing her hard back fast into the corner! Serenity then runs at Haruka…but Haruka is able to catch Serenity with a boot right to the face! Serenity tests her luck again, but she is met with another boot, and that drops Serenity down to a knee, as Haruka then boots her in the face while she is already down! Haruka is just trying to get more breathing room here, but Serenity isn’t allowing it as she gets right back up to her feet, before grabbing Haruka and locking in a side headlock! Serenity pulls Haruka back up to her feet, placing her against the ropes, as she knees Haruka right into the gut! From there Serenity Irish whips Haruka into the other ropes..but instead of rebounding, Haruka stays against the ropes. Ben Knight: WHAT A SPRINT HERE TONIGHT! Haruka Kashimashi tried her best here tonight in this Iconic Cup Tournament Match, but in the end, Serenity connected with ‘Hit The Lights’, and was able to get the Pinfall Victory, getting Two Points in the Tournament!

Dropping Lexi down to all fours, and Kanno leans her up against the ropes for an Irish whip! Lexi runs right into a back elbow, cover is made!

Ben Knight: There’s an immediate kickout there by Lexi, who gets laid back on the canvas for a grounded side headlock. However, Lexi powers back to a vertical base after some brief struggle on the mat. Hikari gets bounced off the ropes, BUT HIKARI COMES BACK WITH A SHOULDER TACKLE! Kanno runs off the ropes!

Clark Ruggerio: Lexi follows her out, standing Hikari back up, and slamming her face first on the apron, rolling Kanno back into the ring afterwards. Lexi looks to enter through the middle rope, BUT HIKARI IS BACK UP, AND BOOTS LEXI RIGHT IN THE SIDE OF HER HEAD! Lexi flies to the outside, and Hikari opportunistically heads out there herself, sending Lexi shoulder first into the barricade!

Clark Ruggerio: Hikari is relentless in her attack though, reigning down with stomps to the neck, and then the shoulder as Lexi tries covering up. Ben Knight: This is the sole match of the A Block, but it’s one of the most intriguing to me since these two were former tag team partners. Not only that, but they were Unified Tag Team Champions until Harper Lee had enough of Sierra’s attitude.
Clark Ruggerio: I mean, that’s a way to put it, but Harper Lee believed that Sierra was holding her down from realizing her true potential in this company. It led to a huge match at Pain for Pride, where Harper would end up victorious. It’s interesting to see how these two women ended up on completely different paths. Harper went on to be Specialists Champion. Sierra went to Dynasty and while not having the same success as her former partner, she’s finding her sole purpose for being in EAW and once she puts all of those pieces together, watch out.
Ben Knight: That’s a nice way to put it, Clark. It’s what makes this match so interesting because we knew that this match was going to happen, but to see the two of these women a year later? It makes things more interesting. I want to see growth, improvement and I want to see a new found fire in Sierra. Let me see what she’s learned from that night at Pain for Pride.

She would like nothing more than to place that match in the back of her mind. By looking at Harper’s face, it seems like she’s confident that this match will fall into her favor–

Ben Knight: SIERRA TAKES HARPER LEE TO THE APRON BEFORE SLAMMING HER FOREHEAD FIRST AGAINST THE APRON, BUT HARPER IS ABLE TO STOP HERSELF FROM COLLIDING WITH THAT APRON. SHE PLACES HER HANDS ON THE EDGE OF THE APRON, STOPPING THE MOVEMENT THERE, BUT HARPER THROWS A BACK ELBOW TO THE FACE OF SIERRA! NOW, IT’S HARPER’S TURN TO GET SIERRA AND SLAM HER FACE AGAINST THE EDGE OF THE APRON! WITH THAT, SHE GETS SIERRA AND ROLLS HER BACK INSIDE THE RING! (When it seems like the referee has gotten the situation under control, she begins to pat down Harper Lee and then, Sierra, making sure that there are no weapons or anything considered harmful and illegal in the possession of the women. Everything is secure with the women. Certain areas of their body are being covered by the bodysuits and when it seems like they are good to go, the referee calls for the bell.)

Ben Knight: SIERRA CHARGES TOWARD HARPER LEE AGAIN, BUT THIS TIME, HARPER IS MORE THAN READY TO THROW HER PUNCHES AT HER FORMER PARTNER AND FRIEND! THE TWO WOMEN BEGIN TO UNLOAD ON EACH OTHER, THROWING SOME OF THE STIFFEST PUNCHES THAT I’D EVER SEEN! HARPER NAILS SIERRA IN THE GUT BEFORE DELIVERING A SIDE-HAND CHOP TO THE CHEST OF SIERRA! AND ANOTHER ONE TO THE CHEST OF SIERRA AS THAT TAKES HER TO THE HORIZONTAL ROPES, WHERE HARPER GETS CONTROL OF SIERRA’S WRIST BEFORE REBOUNDING HER OFF THE SET OF ROPES! Sierra rebounds off those ropes and ducks Harper’s clothesline before rebounding off the set of ropes in front of her as she slides underneath the legs of Harper! Sierra gets herself to her feet before nailing Harper with a pele kick that sends the former Specialists Champion back!
Clark Ruggerio: Sierra follows that with a drop toe-hold as Harper Lee falls face first! SIERRA GETS HERSELF ON TOP OF HARPER BEFORE MOUNTING HER WITH A SERIES OF PUNCHES! SHE TRIES TO PIN HARPER’S SHOULDERS TO THE MAT, BUT HARPER GETS HER SHOULDERS UP, BUT THAT DOESN’T STOP SIERRA FROM THROWING SOME OF THE FASTEST, BUT MOST CHAOTIC PUNCHES THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN A WOMAN THROW!
Ben Knight: The referee is needing to pull Sierra away from Harper Lee. Sierra can’t risk getting herself disqualified because she gets nothing for getting herself disqualified. These are some of the situations where wins and losses do matter, so Sierra is going to need to remain calm in this situation. SIERRA IS STALKING HARPER UP TO HER FEET AS SIERRA CHARGES TOWARD HER FORMER FRIEND WITH A LOU-THEZ PRESS! ONCE AGAIN, SHE BEGINS TO BASH HARPER IN THE FACE WITH THOSE MASSIVE LEFTS AND RIGHTS!
Clark Ruggerio: But, it seems like Harper Lee is going to take NONE of that as she rolls herself on top of Sierra, throwing some punches of her own! Harper begins to blast Sierra’s forehead with some massive elbows and I’m surprised that it hasn’t knocked out Sierra, but you can tell what a pain Sierra is to someone like Harper Lee and I think that Sierra thinks that Harper is a pain in the ass in return! Harper rises back to her feet as she grabs Sierra by the back of her head, clutching onto that bright pink hair of hers, but Sierra SHOVES Harper before delivering a kick to the stomach, but Harper catches onto Sierra’s leg!
Ben Knight: I think that Sierra notices that she may have messed up there as she is trying to reason with Harper Lee to put her foot down and instead of doing that, Harper connects with a dragon screw leg whip! Sierra is seen clutching onto that left leg of hers, but Harper is up to her feet right away as she gets a hold of Sierra’s leg and intertwines it with the bottom rope! Harper takes a small step back before kicking Sierra’s leg within the bottom rope! BUT, IT SEEMS LIKE HARPER IS NOT DONE WITH THAT JUST YET! SHE PLACES HER BOOT ON TOP OF SIERRA’S LEFT FOOT, WHICH IS STILL INTERTWINED WITH THE BOTTOM ROPE AND SHE PLACES ALL OF HER WEIGHT ON THAT LEG! THE REFEREE IS GOING TO BEGIN HER COUNT HERE!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! GET OFF OF HER, HARPER!
Clark Ruggerio: Harper Lee gets her weight off of Sierra as she raises her hands up where the referee can see them. She takes a step back as Sierra manages to untangle her foot from the bottom rope! Sierra uses the assistance of the ropes to recollect herself to her feet! But at the first sign of that, Harper connects with a basement dropkick, nailing her on the left leg as Sierra goes falling down! Harper takes a step back before nailing Sierra with a shining wizard which takes Sierra down, but she rolls herself out of the ring as she begins to rest on the barricade, but Harper doesn’t look clearly amused by what Sierra is doing.
Ben Knight: Harper Lee charges at Sierra, nailing her with a baseball slide-like dropkick! But, Sierra is able to get the hell out of the way as Harper slides outside of the ring, bUT SHE IS ABLE TO CATCH HERSELF FROM FLYING OUT OF THE RING AREA ENTIRELY! SHE HAS HER HANDS ON THE MIDDLE ROPE AS SHE READJUSTS HER BODY SO THAT SHE’S LOOKING ACROSS FROM SIERRA WHO IS STANDING ON THE OTHER END OF THE APRON.
(For a particular moment, the former Unified Tag Team Champions and friends look across from each other on the apron. While Harper Lee’s career has taken off, Sierra has been scratching and clawing for her spot on the top. She has been hungry for a win that is going to take her career to the next level and that might as well be the Iconic Cup. She knows how important this match would be for her and she’s going to stop at nothing to make sure this match is her’s for the win.)
Clark Ruggerio: The two former Unified Tag Team Champions exchange looks at each other. It’s crazy to see the different paths their careers took as Sierra throws a fist to Harper Lee, but Harper catches the fist and begins to twist it to the side! Sierra is flinching to the side near the ropes before using her other hand to deliver a side-handed chop to the chest of the former Specialists Champion, which releases her grasp on Sierra! Sierra connects with another chop to Harper’s chest, which takes her back more! SIERRA GRABS HARPER BY HER ARM BEFORE WHIPPING HER TO THE RING POST BEHIND HER! HARPER’S FOREHEAD COLLIDES WITH THE RING POST! MAN, I THINK I JUST HEARD A CLUNKING NOISE AS THAT WAS ENOUGH TO MAKE HARPER COLLIDE TO THE APRON AND ROLL OUT TO RINGSIDE!
Ben Knight: Just look at the smirk on Sierra’s face, who looks quite proud of her dirty work, but rolls herself out of the ring as she picks up Harper Lee by her chin. Sierra mutters a few things to Harper before throwing her to the ring post again! Harper collides to the ground as Harper looks quite dizzy at the time being and there’s no doubt that Sierra is going to exploit that! Sierra picks up Harper in a horizontal position before throwing the ‘Woman Without Fear’ behind her with an exploder suplex! Harper crashes onto the barricade behind her as Sierra gets right back up before putting her foot on top of the skull of Harper!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! GET YOUR FOOT OFF OF HER, SIERRA!
Clark Ruggerio: Slowly, Sierra gets her foot off of Harper Lee’s head! She puts her hands up where the official can see them before slowly backing away, allowing the referee to check on Harper! As you can see, Harper is clutching the back of her head as she’s trying to find a way back to her feet! But, Sierra isn’t looking to waste any time as she bolts right after Harper with some left and right punches! This knocks the former Specialists Champion to her knee as Sierra is getting quite chaotic with those punches – HARPER FINDS A WAY TO SHOVE SIERRA AWAY FROM HER, CREATING A BIT OF A DISTANCE, BUT SIERRA GOES RIGHT AFTER HARPER WITH A KNEE STRIKE –
Ben Knight: AT THE LAST SECOND, HARPER LEE GETS THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY AS SIERRA CRASHES ONTO THE BARRICADE! HARPER COLLAPSES TO A SEATED POSITION AS SIERRA IS CLUTCHING HER KNEE THAT SHE MAY HAVE HURT! HARPER IS USING THE OPPORTUNITY TO CATCH HER BREATH AS THINGS HAVEN’T BEEN LOOKING TOO GOOD FOR HER! Harper is using the top of the barricade as a way to get herself back to her feet! She is looking in Sierra’s direction before getting her former tag team partner up to her feet! Harper is clutching onto Sierra’s hair before slamming her head first on the edge of the apron which causes Sierra to turn herself around as Harper throws a punch to her face! BUT, SIERRA SHOWS A BIT OF FIGHT AS SHE THROWS A PUNCH AT HARPER IN RETURN, BUT HARPER RESPONDS WITH A KNEE TO THE RIBS OF SIERRA! Clark Ruggerio: Sierra is clutching her lower back as it seems like Harper Lee got her there. She gets Sierra up and throws her back inside the ring. Harper begins to back away from Sierra, who is trying to get herself into a seated position. Harper runs to Sierra, nailing her with a sliding forearm smash to the face as Harper goes for the very first pin fall of the entire match!

Ben Knight: Sierra with a kick out and Harper just seems flat-out annoyed at the moment. This woman thought that she got rid of Sierra at Pain for Pride last year, but sadly, it seems like one of those things where the two of them will never be out of each other’s lives. Harper gets Sierra up before delivering a punch to the gut, which causes Sierra to bend forward in response. Harper finds her in a good position to get her up and connect with a pump handle slam on ‘The Killjoy.’ Now, we’re starting to see Harper getting something going for herself! She gets down to Sierra’s level before applying a headlock on her. She has a front headlock applied to Sierra. But somehow, Sierra is finding the strength to get herself up to her feet. She is trying to punch herself out of Harper’s headlock, but Harper sweeps the feet from underneath Sierra!
Clark Ruggerio: Harper Lee has her hands out in confidence as she’s trying to egg Sierra back to her feet. By the look on Sierra’s face, I bet that something is brewing in her mind. She tries to find her way to her feet and oddly enough, Harper is letting her back to her feet. The two women are looking at one another you can see the fire and determination in Sierra’s eyes as Harper is trying to remain calm about the situation with Sierra.
Ben Knight: Wait, is Harper laughing at Sierra?
Clark Ruggerio: SIERRA JUST SLAPPED HARPER LEE ACROSS THE FACE! THAT GOT HARPER TO STOP LAUGHING FOR THE TIME BEING. HARPER’S FACE IS TURNED TO THE SIDE AS SHE DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO PROCESS WHAT SIERRA JUST DID. Sierra is exchanging a couple of words with Harper, which causes Harper to get in the face of her former tag team partner. Harper slightly pushes Sierra, BUT SIERRA WITH ANOTHER SLAP TO THE FACE OF HARPER! SIERRA NOW BEGINS TO UNLOAD ON HARPER WITH A SERIES OF LEFT AND RIGHT. SHE GETS HARPER UP BY HER CHIN BEFORE THROWING HER FACE FIRST AGAINST ONE OF THE CORNERS. SIERRA BEGINS TO BACK AWAY FROM HARPER—
Ben Knight: Sierra charges Harper with a meteora to her face! Harper Lee begins to go forward, but Sierra connects with a shoot kick that gets Harper back to that corner! Sierra begins to unload on Harper with those series of shoot kicks that are nailing Harper in the face! Slowly, Harper goes to a seated position as Sierra takes another step back. Her eyes never leave the sight of Harper before she runs towards Harper, nailing her with a facewash as the back of Harper’s head crashes onto the turnbuckle! Sierra pulls Harper by her foot and away from the corner before going for another cover!

Clark Ruggerio: Harper Lee kicks out! Sierra is trying to keep her composure and focus on defeating Harper. She can’t let any emotions get the best of her. She needs to focus on what she needs to do to survive this match and win. Sierra grabs her leg of Harper from behind and now, it seems like Sierra is looking to connect with a muta lock on the ‘Woman Without Fear.’ Harper is trying to turn herself around, knowing what Sierra has in store isn’t going to be good for her whatsoever. Harper is trying to kick Sierra away from her, but Sierra is able to stomp on the ribs of Harper before –
Ben Knight: We are seeing Sierra go for the sharpshooter as she turns Harper Lee into her stomach! It was some quick thinking from Sierra who saw that something wasn’t working, so she thought of something else on the spot. Harper begins to cry out in pain and for sure, she’s feeling it within her legs. How long though? The longer that she finds herself in the sharpshooter, the more likely her legs are going to go numb, and honestly, that isn’t pleasant for anyone. Harper has her hand elevated off the mat for a little as she has her eyes set on the bottom rope ahead of her! She can’t afford to submit it here. It will give Sierra three points on the board and honestly, do you think that Harper will be able to live that down?
Clark Ruggerio: Do you think that we’d hear the end of it from Sierra?
Ben Knight: It kind of balances things out, but I do think a victory like this would be beneficial to someone like Sierra, who has been scratching and clawing during her time on the Dynasty brand. She’s been putting in the work. She has been trying to become better in the ring.
Clark Ruggerio: That’s true, Ben. Harper Lee is a future World Champion and the Iconic Cup would catapult her to that picture. While she’s been in and out of the picture, this could solidify her place on top of the company.
Ben Knight: It could, but this is what makes these matches up tough to predict. While a lot of people are leaning towards Harper, can’t you imagine what that does to someone like Sierra? Can you imagine the fire that it must give her inside herself?
Clark Ruggerio: It’s some of the best type of motivation, but let’s not count out Harper Lee, who is looking for a way out of this submission hold from Sierra. Harper is able to lift her body up a bit, just enough to pull herself out of the middle of the ring. Sierra begins to feel some slight movement from the former Specialists Champion and tries to pull Harper further away from those sets of ropes. But, that doesn’t stop Harper from trying to get herself out of the sharpshooter. She lifts her body up again and digs her nails into the canvas. She tries to pull her body closer to those ropes and again, Sierra sees exactly what Harper was trying to do and feels her grasp on her former tag team partner slip from her. This time Sierra is looking to drop to a knee and connect with a Boston crab which stops Harper in her tracks for a moment longer.
Ben Knight: I think this is fantastic for Sierra to go from one submission hold to another, trying to keep Harper Lee right there, but just look at the pain on Harper’s face. She is completely stuck and wondering what she is going to need to do to get herself out of this situation. You have Sierra who is telling Harper to basically throw in the towel and call it a day. But, Harper is using as much strength as she possibly can to reach for that bottom rope. Literally, you can see her trying to dig her nails into the canvas, letting that be used as a way to claw closer to the bottom rope. You can see that calm demeaour from Sierra just fading away as Harper gets closer to the ropes –
Clark Ruggerio: AND…SHE MAKES IT!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!
Ben Knight: With that, Sierra releases the sharpshooter from Harper Lee. Harper rolls herself out of the ring and I cannot imagine how Harper is feeling at the moment. Sierra kept the sharpshooter locked in long enough, but Sierra rolls to the outside to retrieve Harper. She gets Harper by her hair, but Harper collapses to the ground, almost like she’s on noodle legs at the moment due to the time that she was locked in that sharpshooter. SIERRA GETS HARPER AND THROWS HER INTO THE STEEL STEPS AS THE CROWD. SIERRA GETS HARPER UP AGAIN BEFORE THROWING HER TO THE OTHER SET OF STEEL STEPS AS HARPER LOOKS TO BE OUT OF IT AT THE MOMENT. SHE GETS HARPER UP BEFORE THROWING HER BACK INSIDE THE RING. HARPER IS ON HER BACK AS SIERRA SEES THE OPENING TO DO A HANDSPRING INTO A MOONSAULT ON HARPER. SIERRA CALLS THAT ‘STUPID BITCH’ AS SHE GOES FOR THE COVER!

Clark Ruggerio: Harper Lee with a shoulder up as Sierra gets Harper up! Sierra connects with a superkick as that takes Harper back. Sierra rebounds herself off the ropes and follows that up with a spear as that takes down Harper. You can see the intense look on Sierra’s face as she’s more than ready to end this match and gain those two or three points for the Iconic Cup. SHE IS SLOWLY WORKING HER WAY UP TO HER FEET AS SHE’S STALKING HARPER BACK TO HER FEET. SIERRA WITH A ROLLING ELBOW… ‘SEROTONIN’ ON HARPER!
Ben Knight: NO! HARPER LEE IS ABLE TO DUCK DOWN AS SIERRA GOES STUMBLING FORWARD! HARPER GRABS SIERRA BY THE BACK OF HER HEAD BEFORE CONNECTING WITH BACKBREAKER. SIERRA IS CLUTCHING ONTO HER LOWER BACK AS HARPER FINDS HER WAY BACK TO HER FEET. SLOWLY, SIERRA IS MAKING HER WAY BACK TO HER FEET AS HARPER CONNECTS WITH A ‘DRAGON FIST’ – THE RIGHT HOOK ON ‘THE KILLJOY’ AS THAT SENDS HER DOWN TO ONE KNEE. She rebound off the vertical set of ropes before delivering a hurricanrana that plants Sierra face-first against the mat! Harper with the cover!

Clark Ruggerio: Sierra with a kick out as Harper Lee finds her way back to her feet. She grabs a fistfull of Sierra’s hair as she throws her head-first against one of the corners! Harper refuses to waste any time as she connects with a shotgun dropkick to Sierra’s lower back at the corner, which causes for Sierra to collapse to her knees. Harper rolls herself back to her feet as she runs to Sierra again, connecting with a meteora to the back of Sierra’s head. In the process, Sierra’s head crashes against the turnbuckle. Harper picks up Sierra and connects with ‘Ragnorok’ – the Olympic slam on the former Unified Tag Team Champion! Sierra goes down as Harper has a smirk on her face, realizing that she has Sierra right where she wants her. Sierra slowly makes her way up to her feet as Harper connects with a slingshot spear as that takes Sierra to the ground, but Sierra drops to the ground at the last second as she delivers a gut punch to Harper, which causes for the former Specialists Champion to bend forward in response! Sierra gets Harper in position as she’s looking at the corner –
Ben Knight: ‘PRIMA DONNA’ – THE SLICED BREAD #2 ON HARPER LEE! NO! HARPER SHOVES SIERRA INTO THE CORNER, BUT SIERRA IS ABLE TO CATCH HERSELF AT THE CORNER! HARPER PUSHES SIERRA FURTHER INTO THE CORNER AND GOES FOR AN O’CONNOR ROLL ON SIERRA! IS HARPER GOING TO TAKE THE VICTORY HERE?!??!

Ben Knight: NO! LOOK AT HARPER LEE’S FOOT! IT’S BARELY TOUCHING THE BOTTOM ROPE! THE REFEREE IS TAPPING ON SIERRA’S SHOULDER, NOTIFYING HER OF THE CALL AND YOU CAN JUST SEE SIERRA’S HEART BREAK A BIT, BUT SHE’S DOING HER BEST TO REMAIN AS SERIOUS AND COLD AS SHE POSSIBLY CAN, BUT HOW CAN WE IGNORE THE LOOK OF A WOMAN WHO WANTS NOTHING MORE TO SUCCEED IN THIS BUSINESS? Sierra releases the hold, not risking herself of getting disqualified from the match. Meanwhile, you can see Harper with her eyes closed as she’s cackling at Sierra. It seems like she’s almost mocking Sierra, which is only going to fire up and piss off this woman more!
Clark Ruggerio: SIERRA STOMPS ON THE MOUTH OF HARPER LEE AS THAT GETS HER TO SHUT UP! I CAN’T IMAGINE HOW THAT FELT FOR SIERRA AS SHE GETS HARPER UP BY HER HAIR! SHE GETS HARPER IN A REVERSE FIREMAN’S CARRY POSITION – RIGHT ON HER SHOULDERS– AND IT SEEMS LIKE SIERRA IS LOOKING TO CONNECT WITH THE BACKBREAKER RACK AND FOLLOW THAT UP WITH A KNEE LIFT! BEFORE SHE DOES THAT, SIERRA TWISTS HARPER AROUND BEFORE DROPPING HER OFF HER SHOULDER –
Ben Knight: BUT, HARPER LEE FINDS A WAY TO FALL FROM BEHIND SIERRA, BUT SHE MANAGES TO GET SIERRA BY HER SHOULDERS AS–

Maria Del Ray: THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH…HARPER LEE!!!!!!!!
Ben Knight: My goodness! What an ending to that match as Sierra believed that she was going to put Harper Lee away with the ‘Self Destructor,’ but Harper used the momentum from the spin that Sierra wanted to add into her finisher to her advantage.
Clark Ruggerio: I felt like that was Sierra wanting to be a bit petty with wanting to spin Harper around on her shoulders, but it cost her the match. It cost her the two points that could have been useful for her to have.
Ben Knight: After all the little things that Harper Lee did to get underneath the skin of Sierra, I don’t blame Sierra for wanting to get even by doing that, but don’t count out Harper Lee.
Clark Ruggerio: I thought it was a wonderful performance from Sierra, who once again falls short of the victory, but I want to see her improve and get better. I want to see her take this women’s division by storm, but she’s missing something. I can’t figure out what though.
(The last shot seen is Harper making her way towards the backstage area while a displeased Sierra watches on, the scene fading away from there.)
