(EAW intro plays.)
(Friday Night Dynasty intro plays. We then get a montage of the Draft Show and all of the Elitists that were selected for their brands. Familiar faces like Myles, Joso Hans Grayson, Cy Henderson, Drake Armstrong, Shinzo Sasaki, BRAE, Vincent Mondrian, and Issac Crow all return while Drake King, Minerva, Rex McAllister, Raven Roberts, Holly Arrow, Kirk Redwood, Usagi Senshi, Daniella Atlas, Mia Santoro, Mattias Burke, Clayton Golde, AJ Redding and Saori Aizen have found themselves a new home for the season. Once the recap ends, we get a live shot of the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina! We then go inside where the sold-out crowd is shown off, rabid as ever, and excited for season 18 of EAW! Stew-O, Jake Mercer and Flannery McCoy all greet the viewers with smiles as they’re ready to kick everything off.)
Stew-O: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Friday Night Dynasty, and welcome to season 18! We are officially underway as EAW continues to go on strong, and here on the red brand, there are Elitists familiar and new that are ready to take over! As always, I am Stew-O, and joining me are Jake Mercer and Flannery McCoy!
Jake Mercer: What a shift! We’ve lost some of our stars, but the ones we have are sure to fill any gaps left behind and help maintain Dynasty as the must-see, premiere show in all of EAW!
Flannery McCoy: Absolutely! Many things may have changed, but what hasn’t is the energy here as everyone is looking forward to what Dynasty has in store this season, and what better way to kick things off than by having our world champion come on out!?
(‘Enemy Strike’ by Yuki Hayashi hits. Soon, the world heavyweight champion himself steps out. It was only fitting for the man who claims Dynasty as his domain to be the first to come out and kick off season eighteen. Myles is nothing short of prideful as the title he’s held for seven months now remains on his shoulder, shining within the spotlight. He takes in the familiar environment before he walks down to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing at this time, the EAW World Heavyweight Champion… MYYYYYYYYYYLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEES!!!
Jake Mercer: Yessir, he is here! A world champion’s world champion! Peak! Unrivaled! Absolute! Many things may have changed ever since the draft show concluded, but one thing that remains unchallenged is the fact that Myles is still here on Dynasty, with his spot at the top firmly set in stone. He’s coming into this season off of the heels of an insane day three main event at Pain for Pride, and not only did he retain his championship, but he is the one who ha effectively retired Jamie O’Hara.
Stew-O: It’s a match that will never be forgotten, from how brutal it was, to how Myles was able to get the better of the Ace and end his career for good. He was able to take down one of the greatest and influential Elitists of all time and that is nothing to sneeze at. Now, the world heavyweight champion is entering this new season with his throne intact, and with his hall of fame career cemented, he has the chance to add on to his own legend.
Flannery McCoy: And he definitely plans on adding more to it, for sure. If people thought that Myles was going to slow down, then they’re mistaken. Myles is already one of the all-time greats, but he isn’t going to stop until he is heralded as the best, point blank period. There may be new challengers and some familiar faces on Dynasty, but the mission for the champion remains the same, and regardless of who is in front of him, he plans on making it be known that he is not going to be the kind of Elitist who will be defeated easily, especially when it comes to that championship he’s holding and representing.
Stew-O: Well, Myles is certainly going to set the tone for everyone who thinks about challenging him for the championship. He aims to maintain the dominance he’s had all year, and with a new season, he doesn’t plan on slowing down for a single second.
(Myles gets inside of the ring and is handed a microphone. He comes to the middle, where mostly positive reactions stem from the fans for the champion. He cracks a slight smirk before he starts to speak.)
Myles: Well, things may have changed, but the one thing that hasn’t is that I’m still the main representation of this brand. I meant it when I said that Dynasty was my domain, and I intend on making sure it stays that way. I understand that there are new fish in the pond now, and a few that have been here already, all looking to come after me and this championship that I possess, but ultimately, whatever dreams they may have of becoming the new shark and claiming me as their trophy will fall flat in the end.
Myles: Now, that is not me dismissing the competition. Far from it. I made it known at the Draft Show that I was going to be a fighting champion through and through, and anyone who wants to step up to me is more than welcomed to do so. After all, this is a competition. Who would I be if I were to become suddenly laxed or expect things to become easier from here on out? That is simply not peak. Only those who have no true confidence in themselves and their status as champions would start to slow down and become complacent with themselves. But me? I will never be complacent. Having a sizable target on my back does not make me squeamish at all. Helps that it’s a familiar feeling that I’ve had throughout my career already. I know what it’s like to be the one who has the richest prize in all of EAW as this is my third world championship that I have been able to hold here. There may be new challengers looking to stake their claim, but this territory is more than familiar for me, and for that, I am more than comfortable about my chances to overcome anyone who may position themselves as my supposed biggest threat. There have been many who have come for my head, bringing their best effort towards me, trying to do all that they can so that they can be the one to say that they were able to knock me off the top. However, five challengers later, and I am still here.
(Myles nods, reaffirmed in his stances.)
Myles: Many may try to come for me, and I will accept each and every fight graciously as that is the competitor in me. I never back down from a fight. However, I want to put it out there for everyone in the back that, quite frankly, your moment to reach immortality or to finally be taken seriously as a threat isn’t going to magically happen when it comes to me. I’m sure so many of you are just chomping at the bit, eager to chase after me and even try and prove me wrong, and who knows? There will come a day where my worthy successor makes themselves apparent and will be the better Elitist out of the two of us. I’m not arrogant to act as if no one can beat me, even if some people continue to act as if I do. It’s not my fault if they lack the capabilities of being better than me, but I digress. My point is that when the day comes, that person will have to absolutely earn it, because as long as I have this?
(He raises the championship up high into the air.)
Myles: I am the best. I am the standard. I am absolute, and whoever is fortunate enough to beat me will have all the qualities that make them ahead of me. But as it stands now, I’m not prepared to have my title reign end. Far from it. My time is still very much here, especially with the people I have beaten and the names I have been able to conquer, including the very man who many claim to be the greatest Elitist of all time. I not only beat him, but I ended his career. So, to those who wish to step up, I suggest being careful in your approach, because I simply won’t go down easily. I am Peak, the absolute top of the competition here, and while you may plan to bring the fight to me, I aim to do the exact same thing to you—
(All of a sudden, Myles gets cut off as ‘When Darkness Falls’ by Killswitch Engage hits.)
Stew-O: Oh boy, here we go!
(‘Oh boy’ was right. Drake King emerges, causing a litany of boos to pour from the crowd as they spot him. It was only going to be a matter of time before the former New Eden partners would come across each other again, especially when they crossed paths at the Draft Show. There’s a noticeable crackle of tension in the air given their storied history with one another, with everyone already anticipating that things can get heated real fast between the Messiah and the Warlord. Drake however is more than fine strolling down the ramp and into the ring, cocky and self-centered as can be. Myles remains composed, and in a way, almost looks as if he anticipated this to happen.)
Jake Mercer: Well, we shouldn’t be surprised! Drake King made it be known that he wants to go after that championship that Myles has in his possession, and seeing as how that is the first-ever world champion Drake won in his career, he’s no doubt looking to reposition himself as the undisputed, one true leader here on Dynasty!
Flannery McCoy: Absolutely. It’s not a matter of if, but when. It was only going to be inevitable that these two would cross paths again. Last time we saw them in a ring one-on-one was at Fighting Spirit happened, where the screwjob of the century took place as Methuselah speared Myles, and in turn, gave Drake the moment he needed to become the new EAW World Champion. Myles’ second reign came to an unsuspecting, screeching halt just like that, and since then, there has been a massive chip on Myles’ shoulder. Of course, he was able to ultimately add another world title to his name, but it does make me think if the events that transpired that night still come up.
Stew-O: They very well could as that night kicked off Myles’ tour of redemption, and he would likely love nothing more than to beat Drake King one on one to make up for what happened last year.
(Drake is handed a microphone from a ringside staff member. Drake doesn’t speak immediately though, instead taking the time to eye Myles down. The champion does the same, never letting his piercing stare waver from him. The fans are loud as they are mixed with their reactions. However, they’re seemingly drowned out as Drake speaks, addressing Myles directly.)
Drake King: You know, Myles —
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Drake King: :jr:
Stew-O: Well, shouldn’t be surprised that the EAW Universe would be hostile towards him. :lupe:
(Drake shakes his head, doing his best to block out the fans.)
Drake King: As I was saying, Myles —
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
(A small smirk can be seen on Myles’ face as Drake grows slightly annoyed. He turns his head towards the fans and speaks.)
Drake King: Is that anyway to treat your God?!
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Crowd: SHUT THE FUCK UP! 👏👏👏👏👏 SHUT THE FUCK UP! 👏👏👏👏👏 SHUT THE FUCK UP! 👏👏👏👏👏 SHUT THE FUCK UP! 👏👏👏👏👏
Jake Mercer: 😳
Flannery McCoy: :yikes:
Myles: Hey, they’re saying it for me. 🤷🏼
Drake King: Oh, so you’ve actually grown a sense of humor now? Look at you actually having a personality for once. Still, isn’t it funny how despite all that you’ve been able to do, you were still at your best when you were with me?
(Myles rolls her eyes, and the fans boo, obviously not agreeing with that assessment.)
Myles: I was at my best when I was with you? Come on, Drake. I know that being a delusional cunt as been your brand as of late, but let’s not be ridiculous. I have grown ever since New Eden came to its end, and as far as I can see, I am in a far better position right now than you. After all, I actually got to be a world champion for half of my season while your stint is best remembered for you being Gary Daniels.
Drake King: Gary Daniels? Are you people still on that? He and I are not the same! And here I thought with a new season, people would actually try and bring something new to the table rather than continue to fabricate these weird lies about me.
Myles: Riiiiight. Just like how you beat Jamie or that you deserved to have a world title match at Pain for Pride, right?
Drake King: Exactly!
Myles: :Francis:
Drake King: But listen, Myles, we don’t need to delve into any of that. Old news, right? I’m better than Jamie O’Hara ever was and I was unfairly snubbed out of main eventing yet another Pain for Pride. I could easily be bitter about people trying to wave me off and such, but I won’t. After all, there is much for me to look forward to now that I am back on Dynasty after being away from this brand for the past few years. You’ve been able to rise up in rank here, becoming the champion and whatnot, and you know what? Good for you. Still, I think you declaring yourself as the standard bearer or leader for this brand is just a bit presumptuous.
Myles: You? Calling anything presumptuous? Oh, heavens, pigs have truly learned to fly now…
Drake King: Well, am I lying? After all, before there was you… there was me.
(Drake looked a little more serious, which Myles picked up on, causing him to raise a brow.)
Drake King: Obviously, everyone remembers how Dynasty was my domain. I made a name for myself right here, and if people want to talk about leaders, I was just that. I set the bar that everyone here is trying to reach, including you. You’ve been able to establish yourself while I was on Voltage, but even then, I was still outperforming many of the best, beating legends and creating more Pain for Pride moment just as I did when I was here. I was able to become the EAW World Heavyweight Champion, dominated like never before, and I was doing good for myself until, well, that match happened.
(Drake scowls, shaking his head.)
Drake King: Either way, Myles, I left behind a vacant spot that no one has come even close to filling. Whether it be Viz, Andre, Limmy, Bronson, or even you, no one has been able to do the things that I have done when I was here. So now, the originator is back, and it’s only fitting that Dynasty has its one true Messiah now, ready to take it by the reins and lead it to glory once more.
(Myles looks less than impressed by this.)
Myles: Glory? Really?
Drake King: Absolutely. Seeing as how you wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for me, helping you push you to your potential, you wouldn’t be here! Think about it, Myles: when everyone was ready to write you off as another ‘what if’ story and questioning whether you could make a name for yourself, who was it that helped to build you up rather than break you down? Who was it that saw you as a future great and allowed you to flourish?
Myles: Allowed? Flourish? What are you even going on about, mate? You think you’re owed a title match because of that? Well newsflash, Drake: I am no longer your puppet. I am my own man, and I have been able to rise above the likes of you tenfold.
Drake King: Hm. Debatable. But, we don’t need to argue about those fine details. Besides, you said you were a fighting champion, right? Then surely, you wouldn’t have any issue with accepting my challenge and making things official right here, and right now.
(A more smarmy grin snakes across Drake’s face as he looks at Myles.)
Drake King: After all, let’s be real; you’ve thought about facing me again after everything that’s happened, right?
(Myles pauses. But before he can speak up again, ‘Survivor’ by The Score plays, and the fans immediately jump on their feet, beginning to chant.)
Crowd: REX! REX! REX! REX!
Stew-O: And here comes someone else who has been interested in throwing their hat back into the world title picture!
(Rex McAllister comes out and makes his way to the ring. Drake doesn’t look pleased at all, annoyed that he was interrupted, but Rex doesn’t care. He enters the ring and is handed a microphone, bringing his attention over to the two men. Three legendary figures were sharing the same ring.)
Rex McAllister: Well, I wouldn’t want to miss out on all of the fun. Sorry to steal your thunder, Drake — wait, actually, I’m not. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we’re about sick and tired of your delusional ass always trying to sneak your way back to the top of the competition.
(The fans pop for that. Drake’s frown grows more prominent.)
Drake King: At least I can always find my way back to that position. Meanwhile, what happened to you? You let someone who will likely never compete in EAW again get the better of you and main event Pain for Pride at your expense.
(Rex nods, acknowledging that, but he isn’t bothered in the slightest.)
Rex McAllister: Absolutely. I did. And it definitely makes me wish that I had done something differently to change things. Still, that doesn’t mean that I’m ruined because of it, right? It certainly isn’t the first time where people thought that I would slip and fall. I could pine over the fact that I was never able to get my revenge on Charlie, and I would likely have to wait until next season in order to pay him back — if fate would even be fortunate enough for me to do that. However, I’m not one to cry about spilled milk. I acknowledge my mistakes, move on and do better. Considering I was able to beat Jack Ripley at Pain for Pride and end my season by retiring a legendary Elitist in my own right, I like to think that I’ve done a pretty good job at rebounding.
(The fans cheer for this.)
Drake King: Okay? Good for you. However, Einstein, a lot of people retired at Pain for Pride. In fact, I’m the one who retired Malcolm Jones three years ago, so what makes your case so special?
Rex McAllister: Maybe it’s because before there was you, there was me. You call yourself the blueprint, but honestly, Drake, I think you are greatly over exaggerating your impact. Now, you are one of the best, for better or for worse, but acting as if all that you’ve done in your career has never been done before is hilarious. I was a leader myself, especially during a tumultuous time in EAW where this promotion was undergoing a seismic change back in 2018. Someone needed to step up to the plate and bring some stability to this place, and that someone happened to be me. In fact, I became that guy on this very brand, and I was able to man the ship when people were jumping from it. Then, I was traded to Voltage, and the rest, as they say, is history. You can talk about you setting trends or people trying to emulate you — as if anyone here would ever willingly take inspiration from you of all people — but the fact of the matter, Drake, is that there were people before you that made Dynasty what it is, and you’re looking straight at him.
Drake King: Oh, nice story, Rex. Unfortunately, I simply don’t care. I have been the better Elitist, had a better career, and whatever you did in the past doesn’t matter when, presently, it would be for the better if you retired.
Rex McAllister: Really? Me, retire? I don’t think so. Though, I think people would be relieved if you finally had it in you to step away. Would be a huge benefit to this promotion!
Myles: You know what? I’m inclined to agree.
(The fans cheer, while Drake looks absolutely offended.)
Drake King: Honestly, how dare you two?! I am not going anywhere, especially when I deserve to be a world champion—
(‘Saint Pablo’ by Kanye West hits.)
Drake King: Seriously?! :Noah:
(Cy Henderson steps out to a choir of boos. However, the veteran pays them no mind. He himself already has a microphone in his hand, looking at all the men in the ring. He shakes his head and chuckles as he makes his way towards them, speaking.)
Cy Henderson: Well, I see we’re all getting the usual case of quarreling that comes about with everyone having a huge ego. However, if we’re going to talk about our Pain for Pride performances, I’d like to think that mine is the most emphatic one. After all, there have been talks all season long from people about whether or not I had what it took to hang with the best of this generation. I’ve come close many times, but never got past the finish line. However, at Pain for Pride, I was finally able to cross it, and I did so by beating Limmy Monaghan, a man who so many have seen as one of the standard here in EAW in this era.
Drake King: Gosh, you’re still here? What a shame Limmy was never able to beat you. He would’ve done us all a favor by getting to run back to whatever nursing home you were at before you made your unwelcome return.
Cy Henderson: You can think that, Drake. However, there is no denying the results. I was able to rise up to the occasion and proved I more than belong here. In fact, before Pain for Pride, I was able to beat Jake Smith at Fighting Spirit who was fresh off of a Grand Rampage win. Just when people thought they would write me off as some kind of washed-up nostalgia act, I showed that I was still a real threat to any Elitist here, past, present or future, and with those wins under my belt, I’m far from done. Now, there’s only one more name I need to cross off of my list…
(Cy gets in the ring and immediately looks towards Myles.)
Cy Henderson: … And it’s you.
Myles: Is that so?
Cy Henderson: Absolutely. And I intend on being the one to dethrone you.
Myles: :notbad:
Rex McAllister: Respectfully, Cy, that isn’t happening.
Cy Henderson: And respectfully, Rex, I don’t give a damn what you think.
Drake King: Here we go with two people who are better off returning to whatever hole they crawled out of arguing. Look, you can go back and forth about who deserves what, but the fact of the matter is that I’m the only one who—
(But Drake gets off by ‘2024’ by Playboi Carti playing, and Drake is just fed up.)
Drake King: Oh, great. Him now?
???: You damn right I’m him.
(Joso steps on out, and the fans come unglued. They are firmly behind the King of Elite as he makes his presence known.)
Jake Mercer: Oh boy, it’s like a party in here now!
Flannery McCoy: So many potential challengers are making their case to face Myles, and the King of Elite is no exception!
(Joso grins. He brings his shades slightly down as he scopes out the scene.)
Joso: Damn. Been seeing y’all get things popping, so I figured, hey, might as well join in on the fun! Besides, if we’re talking about who deserves what, then look no further at the guy who has actually EARNED a guaranteed world title match. I don’t gotta come out here and act like I’m at court having to defend myself. Everyone knows that I’m up next, and when it comes time for me to become a world champion, I won’t miss.
(The rest of the field look at Joso. Drake and Cy are especially put off by him, whereas Rex and Myles are more neutral in their expressions.)
Joso: In fact, we could put an end to all of this right now. I mean, I got the power in my hand. I could go ahead, rain on all of y’all’s parade and make my match against Myles official right here, right now. However, I can’t lie — it’s funny watching three old heads beg for crumbs and be desperate about how they want their careers to be relevant again. 🤭
Drake King: Who are you calling an old head??
(Joso gets in the ring, and gets right up on Drake’s face.)
Joso: You, lil bitch.
Crowd: KSJDNDJSKDNKWKSJDKWKSJDJSOKSJSKWKWLSNS!!!
Drake King: You are a fool, Joso. But then again, what could I expect from someone who is just now settling into the top of the competition here? That brazenness might have worked against lesser Elitists, but you’re talking to your God directly now, and I’ll have you know that I’m not going to tolerate any disrespect from you. Besides, you win a tournament where the finals pretty much wrote itself and you think that you matter here?
Joso: I sure do, and I matter way more than you. Ain’t nobody feining for Drake King in big 2024. 🤣🤣🤣 Your time been up, buddy. It’s time for you to accept that instead of trying to force yourself back into the spotlight that clearly doesn’t belong to you anymore.
Drake King: And why would I do that when I am clearly better than unproven talent such as yourself? You may be everyone’s favorite starlet now, but that isn’t going to translate into overnight success for you.
Joso: Overnight success? Ion need that. In fact, do you know who you are talking to? Ain’t nothing about me been overnight. I worked hard for this. Went up against some real heavy hitters here, and I’ve been able to swim rather than sink. You best know who you talking to bruh, cause I ain’t like these other cats you can pump fake with all cause you a hall of famer.
Drake King: What? Now you’re just talking nonsense.
Rex McAllister: Well, hey, if you two want to go tit for tat, then be my guests. But Myles, I want you to know that–
Cy Henderson: I’m sorry, but do you really think you can cut ahead of me?
Rex McAllister: Think? No. I know I can, because I am ahead of you Cy in everything.
Cy Henderson: You really think so?
Rex McAllister: Yeah, and if you have a problem with that, then I suggest you–
Stew-O: WHOA! STIFF RIGHT HAND BY CY CATCHES REX OFF GUARD! HOWEVER, MCALLISTER ISN’T GOING TO LET THAT CHEAP SHOT FLY! HE CHARGES AT CY AND BEGINS TO THROW SOME WILD PUNCHES OF HIS OWN, AND NOW, WE HAVE A FIGHT ON OUR HANDS!
Jake Mercer: AND LOOK! JOSO STARTS TO PUNCH DRAKE! DRAKE KING IS FIRING OFF AS WELL, LOOKING TO DEFEND HIMSELF AS HE AND JOSO GO TO TOWN ON EACH OTHER!
Flannery McCoy: MYLES ISN’T EVEN A PART OF THIS! HE JUST WATCHES ON AS THE FOUR ARE BRAWLING! CY AND REX ROLL OUT OF THE RING, TUSSLING AROUND THE PLACE WHILE JOSO AND DRAKE ARE GOING AROUND THE RING! NOW THEY LEAVE AND CONTINUE TO ATTACK EACH OTHER!
Stew-O: MYLES IS AMUSED BY EVERYTHING! HE FINDS THIS COMICAL! AND PERHAPS HE’S ALLOWED TO, BECAUSE ALL FOUR MEN WANT TO COME AFTER HIM–
(CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!)
Jake Mercer: WAIT, WAIT, WAIT! MYES GOES DOWN! SOMEONE JUST KNOCKED HIM DOWN FROM BEHIND…
Flannery McCoy: IT’S DRAKE ARMSTRONG! HE JUST LAID MYLES OUT WITH THAT RING OF HIS!!!
Stew-O: AND WITH EVERYONE ELSE CONSUMED WITH EACH OTHER, DRAKE STANDS TALL! HE PICKS UP THE EAW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP AND RAISES IT UP HIGH!
Jake Mercer: WOW! TALK ABOUT MAKING A STATEMENT!
(Drake Armstrong smirks as he has the title in the air. The fans boo, meanwhile, security comes rushing in to break apart the ensuing chaos. Some slide in as well to separate Armstrong from Myles.)
Flannery McCoy: Oh my! You have to wonder how this can affect Myles later on tonight! He has match against Kirk Redwood!
Jake Mercer: Or how about Joso, Drake, Rex and Cy?! They’re supposed to team together respectively tonight in the main event, but they’re more concerned with beating the crap out of each other!
(The final shot shows Drake Armstrong laughing before we fade to commercials.)
(A commercial plays for Reckless Wiring.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘TOP (“Tower of God” OP English Version)’ by Stray Kids hits the speakers and out walks AJ Redding. He slaps himself a few times, psyching himself up as he marches down the ramp with victory on his mind. AJ tags a few fans, then stomps up the steel steps to the apron and enters the ring. He climbs the top rope and throws his hand up, embracing the reaction from the crowd. AJ drops off the top rope and rolls his shoulders.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Auckland, New Zealand, weighing in at 227 pounds… “REDEFINED” AAAJJJJ REEDDDDIINNNGGGGGG!
Stew-O: After starting his season last year on Voltage, AJ Redding now comes to Dynasty and this is a big change of scenery for him. He came up short in the 24/7 Battle Royal but now he has an one on one opportunity to make a name for himself in the first Dynasty match of Season 18.
Jake Mercer: There’s certainly high hopes for this kid on Dynasty! He’s certainly shown flashes of potential, but we’re going to see what he’s made of tonight as the New Breed division remains alive and well on Friday nights.
(‘Lacrimosa – Epic Version’ by Samuel Kim replaces the sound of AJ’s theme song, blaring through the PA speakers as Vincent Mondrian emerges from the back to a louder reaction than AJ. He doesn’t pander to the crowd, though. Vincent gives the reception a welcoming nod and focuses down on getting in the ramp and entering the ring. He removes his jacket and drops it to the outside, going straight to business.)
Stephie Love: His opponent, from Laren, Netherlands, weighing in at 205 pounds… he is “THE RESOLUTE” VVVIINNCEEENNNTT MOOONDDDRRIIIAANNNN!
Flannery McCoy: Speaking of the New Breed division, this is certainly one of Dynasty’s most promising rookies! Many names that he’s clashed with in the past have swapped brands coming from the Draft which means new opportunities and Vincent remaining on Dynasty may prove to be a great opening for him!
Jake Mercer: It absolutely can. But tonight, he’s going to have to go through AJ Redding first. But based on his demeanor tonight? He certainly wants to accomplish that and more. Vincent is intent on making a statement and AJ better look out.
(DING DING DING!)
Stew-O: We’re off to a start and both men circle around the ring, looking at one another. They engage into a deep collar and elbow tie-up, and Vincent snaps out of it, capturing AJ’s wrist and spinning into a hammerlock. AJ grits his teeth, reaching for the ropes but he’s nowhere near close. Vincent applies pressure on that hammerlock, pushing down on AJ’s wrist.
Jake Mercer: AJ drops to a knee, gritting his teeth. Vincent tries to push down some more, but AJ spins out of the hold and trips Vincent onto his face! He leaps into a side headlock like a vulture and it works, and it’s a tight clamp around the head of Vincent. Vincent grits his teeth, aware that AJ is trying to squeeze the life out of him.
Flannery McCoy: It’s a beautiful applied hold, you’ve gotta give him that! But Vincent takes the waist and rolls him over to get the shoulders on the mat– no! AJ had it scouted out and they’re back in the position they started in, with AJ sitting with the headlock. Vincent has no choice but to pull himself up along with AJ, his hands firmly tied around the waist…
Stew-O: He takes him to the ropes and sends him off! Shoulder block drops AJ! Vincent hits the ropes to try for a knee– AJ is already up and he drops down RIGHT in front of AJ’s feet, trying his best to trip him but AJ leaps over just in time! Both men are up and now Vincent goes up for a leapfrog– this time AJ captures the leg in mid air and trips him onto his face!
Jake Mercer: WOW! Vincent holds his jaw in pain and AJ rolls him over, grabbing the ankle but AJ boots him in the side of the head! He boots him again! AJ struggles and he reaches down to grab the other leg but Vincent places his hands on the back of AJ’s head and forces him to do a front roll, pinning the shoulders down for a seated cover!
Referee: OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!
Referee: TWWW–
Flannery McCoy: AJ elevates his legs up in the air and flips the momentum! He gets Mondrian’s shoulders on the mat and pulls on his legs, with a kneeling pinfall!
Referee: OOOOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!
Jake Mercer: Mondrian places his hands on AJ’s legs and pushes him forward, freeing himself from the pin! Both men rise and AJ throws a nasty calf kick! He throws another! Vincent staggers, struggling to stay upward. AJ swings another but this time Vincent checks it–
Stew-O: And he follows up with a NASTY forearm right after! AJ is on wobbly legs after that! Vincent takes his wrist and irish whips him, charging in with a kitchen sink against the ropes! AJ holds his ribs in pain and Vincent hits off the ropes- AJ CHARGES IN WITH A HIGH KICK TO THE CHEST!
Flannery McCoy: These two are going blow for blow! AJ takes Vincent by the wrist and pulls him in, trying to drag him to the center of the ring for another submission, but Vincent rolls through and twirls under the wrist, taking the waist for a northern lights suplex– no! AJ slips over the shoulder for a sunset flip! He brings him down!
Stew-O: But Vincent backrolls to his feet before AJ can get the pinfall and he leaps into a dropkick to the jaw! AJ holds his mouth in pain, he may have knocked some teeth out! He rolls over and crawls to the ropes, pulling himself up. You can see Vincent collecting a breather as he rises up to his feet…
Jake Mercer: Vincent nods to himself and hits off the turnbuckles at full speed! CORNER LARIAT! AJ bounces out and Vincent hits off the ropes for AN ELBOW SMASH THIS TIME! AJ leans his head down, stunned. Vincent takes advantage of this as he double underhooks the arms and TOSSES HIM UP IN THE AIR FOR A DOUBLE UNDERHOOK BACKBREAKER! OH MY GOD!
Flannery McCoy: HE COULD HAVE BROKE AJ’S BACK OFF OF THAT! VINCENT IS A MAN ON A MISSION AND HE DRAGS HIM RIGHT BACK UP! HE TURNS HIM AND LIFTS HIM UP IN FULL NELSON POSITION! HOISTS HIM IN THE AIR– JUST TO DROP HIM WITH ANOTHER BACKBREAKER! AJ FOLDS OVER HIS KNEE AND FALLS ONTO HIS STOMACH!
Stew-O: Vincent grins and rolls AJ over, hooking the legs. The referee slides to the count and this very well could be the end right here! What a nasty combo!
Referee: OOOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!
Jake Mercer: AJ JOLTS HIS SHOULDER UP! STILL GOT A LOT OF FIGHT IN HIM, AND UNDERSTANDABLY SO! Vincent takes his time, rising up to his feet. He reaches down to AJ and mushes him with his foot. The heat of battle getting both men…
Stew-O: I think Vincent tries it again, but this time AJ swats his foot down, rises to his feet and SLAPS HIM! Vincent stumbles, caught off guard by that! AJ wants Vincent to bring the heat and he does with a huge forearm! AJ staggers, but follows up with an enzui– Vincent catches the ankle in mid air and drops him onto his stomach!
Flannery McCoy: AJ scrambles, trying to free, but Vincent has a tight grip on him! And he drops into a STF! The STF is locked in tight and AJ is yelling out in agony! Vincent’s forearms are digging across the side of his face like a razor, and that can’t be comfortable for him at all! He clinches his hands together, tightening the grip on that hold!
Stew-O: Vincent starts to pull back, contorting AJ’s head to the side! The STF is a deadly submission manuever and this is exactly why! AJ wants to crawl but he can’t, Vincent is pressing all of his body weight onto his back! He’s got the legs trapped as well, this is all upper body strength from AJ being used here!
Jake Mercer: That’s IF he can will himself to get there! Vincent is wrenching back and now AJ’s head and body is being elevated off the canvas! He yells out some more, and Vincent is just practically begging him to give in and tap out here!
Flannery McCoy: But AJ refuses to relent! He pushes his hands against the canvas in a pushup motion, and begins army crawling to the ropes! Vincent is struggling, trying to keep it in tight but AJ will not let go! Vincent releases the hold and grabs the legs to pull him back–
Jake Mercer: ROOKIE MISTAKE! AJ PLANTS HIS HANDS ONTO THE MAT AND FRONTROLLS, SENDING VINCENT BARRELING THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE! VINCENT LANDS ONTO HIS FEET, STAGGERING INTO THE BARRICADE…
Stew-O: Clearly caught him off guard! AJ rises to his feet and hits off the ropes at the speed of a bullet– WRECKING BALL DROPKICK SENDS HIM BARRELING INTO THE BARRICADES! VINCENT GOES DOWN AND AJ LANDS ONTO HIS FEET OUTSIDE THE RING, DRAGGING HIM UP AND THROWING HIM INTO THE RING!
Flannery McCoy: Vincent is trying his hardest to get back up to his feet but he’s swinging for the air at this rate… He finally turns to AJ who bounces off the turnbuckles into HIS SIGNATURE SHOTGUN DROPKICK! VINCENT BOUNCES OFF THE TURNBUCKLES FOR ADDED IMPACT AND FALLS OVER! AJ ROLLS HIM OVER FOR THE COVER! THIS COULD BE IT!
Referee: OOOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!
Referee: TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHH—
Jake Mercer: KICK OUT JUST IN TIME! FOR A SECOND I THOUGHT HE HAD IT, AND SO DID AJ! He wastes no time though, that’s the smart move! He grabs onto Vincent and pulls him up. He pummels him with a multitude of forearms!
Stew-O: They’re clearly getting to him too! Vincent is reaching for AJ, but AJ moves back, meaning that he almost fell over! AJ takes him by the hair and knees him in the head! Vincent falls to a kneel and AJ revs his leg back… He tries a roundhouse kick–
Flannery McCoy: DRAGON SCREW LEGWHIP FROM VINCENT! HE CAME BACK TO LIFE JUST IN TIME! HE HOLDS ONTO THE LEGS AND STARTS TO TWIST THEM UP! LOOKING TO TWIST INTO A SHARPSHOOTER!
Stew-O: AJ GRABS HIM BY THE HEAD AND PULLS HIM INTO AN INSIDE CRADLE AT THE LAST SECOND!
Referee: OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTT–
Flannery McCoy: A KICK OUT FROM VINCENT! Both men rise to their feet! AJ soars with a yakuza kick– Vincent sidesteps and takes the waist! Inverted headlock backbreaker! He pops AJ up to his feet and takes the waist again, HE SWINGS INTO A HALF AND HALF SUPLEX!
Stew-O: Going after the head and back there! A surgical approach from Vincent Mondrian, who’s been looking for all kinds of advantage. He drags AJ up and rams him into the turnbuckles! AJ winces out in pain and Vincent hoists him up for a northern lights suplex– AJ slips over into a sunset flip!
Jake Mercer: But Vincent holds onto the ropes! AJ is trying to take him down but he can’t! Vincent releases the ropes and slaps AJ’s hands down, meaning the sunset flip attempt is null and void and he’s laying down– VINCENT LEAPS INTO A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO THE CHEST OF REDDING! MY GOODNESS!
Stew-O: His creativity knows no bounds! Vincent takes AJ by the head and sits him in the corner. He hits off the turnbuckles! ‘THE FLYING DUTCHMAN!’ HESITATION DROPKICK STRAIGHT TO THE HEAD! BOTH OF THESE MEN HAVE HIT DROPKICKS IN THIS MATCH BUT THAT MAY HAVE BEEN THE MOST IMPACTFUL ONE!
Jake Mercer: While AJ went for the chest with the shotgun dropkick, Vincent went for broke with the dropkick to the head, thus bouncing it off the turnbuckle and it paid off in dividends! Vincent rises to his feet and drags AJ to the center by the leg, falling on top of him and hooking a leg for the cover.
Referee: OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRR–
Flannery McCoy: NOT ENOUGH! AJ REDDING KICKS OUT! FIRST DYNASTY MATCH OF SEASON 18 AND THESE MEN ARE SHOWING UP AND SHOWING OUT! BUT THEY CAN’T BOTH WIN! WE NEED A WINNER AND SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE!
Jake Mercer: I’ve got a sinking feeling that it will very soon! Vincent drags AJ up to his feet and grins. He takes the arm and looks to drop into the ‘Mondrian’ Lock’– but AJ had it scouted out! Elbow to the ribs! He spins under the grasp of Vincent’s arm and THROWS A SCYTHING LEG KICK!
Stew-O: VINCENT BUCKLES TO HIS KNEES FROM HOW HARD AJ KICKED HIM THERE! CHEST KICK FROM AJ! ANOTHER CHEST KICK! A THIRD CHEST KICK! AND A FOURTH CHEST KICK! HE WINDS BACK– KNEE STRIKE TO THE JAW, THE ‘PUMPED UP KICKS’ COMBINATION CONNECTS!
Flannery McCoy: THAT KNEE LANDED FLUSH! VINCENT IS DOWN BUT AJ WANTS TO SECURE VICTORY! HE DRAGS HIM UP WITH URGENCY. A FRONT FACELOCK AND HE HOISTS HIM UP IN THE AIR, DANGLING HIM UPSIDE DOWN FOR QUITE SOMETIME… ‘BRAIN DAMAGE!’ SNAP BRAINBUSTER!
Jake Mercer: MY GOD! VERY FITTING NAME BECAUSE HE COULD HAVE DONE MORE THAN JUST POTENTIALLY CONCUSS VINCENT THERE! AJ FLOATS OVER FOR THE COVER, PINNING THE SHOULDERS DOWN!
Referee: OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEE-
Stew-O: IT’S NOT ENOUGH! VINCENT KICKS OUT! AJ DIDN’T HOOK THE LEGS, THAT WAS WHAT SCREWED HIM OVER RIGHT THERE! VINCENT HAD ENOUGH LOWER BODY POWER TO PROPEL HIS BODY UP AND NOW AJ HAS TO GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD!
Flannery McCoy: Like I said! SOMETHING’S GOTTA GIVE! But WHEN?! AJ takes a deep breath and pulls Vincent up. He gutwrenches the waist, is he looking for the ‘Kiwi Krusher’, NO! Vincent rams them into the turnbuckles again! Repeated shoulder barrages from Vincent! Desperation is kicking in for The Resolute!
Jake Mercer: He hoists AJ all the way up to the top rope! Vincent tries to follow but AJ meets him with a nasty boot to the jaw that surely made him rethink strategy. Vincent staggers, doing his best to stay up but it’s hard to guarantee. AJ is about to get down– but Vincent nails him with a blistering chop!
Flannery McCoy: AJ definitely winced from that one! He throws another boot, but Vincent eats it! ANOTHER CHOP FROM VINCENT! AJ groans out in pain, and now he’s holding at his chest while trying to balance sitting up at the top rope. This isn’t looking good for him now…
Stew-O: AND VINCENT TAKES THE TOP ROPE AND PROPELS HIMSELF UPWARDS INTO AN ENZUIGIRI TO THE BACK OF AJ’S HEAD! THE SHIN CONNECTS BEAUTIFULLY AND AJ FALLS OFF THE TOP ROPE ALL THE WAY TO THE APRON! HIS BODY BUCKLES AGAINST THE APRON AND HE HITS THE FLOOR! HE’S OUT OF IT!
Jake Mercer: THAT WAS A GAME CHANGER RIGHT THERE! AJ REDDING IS NOT MOVING WHATSOEVER, BUT VINCENT IS TAKING A BREATHER! I’m not denying that one ISN’T useful, but now isn’t the time to take breaks! You’ve gotta step up and take the win by any means necessary and right now his opponent is OUT OF IT!
Flannery McCoy: He’s still down and Vincent drags him up and throws him in the ring! He slides in after him, rolling AJ onto his stomach. He keeps his legs pressed against the canvas and takes the arm, slowly raising him above the canvas… ‘THE STARRY NIGHT!’ STOMPS THE HEAD RIGHT INTO THE CANVAS!
Stew-O: HE MAY HAVE JUST LEFT A SWEAT MARK OF AJ’S HEAD ONTO THE CANVAS! HE’S NOT MOVING AND VINCENT ROLLS HIM OVER, FALLING TO HIS KNEES. A DEEP EXHALE FROM MONDRIAN, BUT HE DROPS INTO THE COVER AND HOOKS THE LEGS FOR THE COUNT!
Referee: OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRE-
Jake Mercer: AJ REDDING FINDS IT IN HIM TO KICK OUT! WHAT A MATCH THIS HAS BEEN SO FAR! Vincent kneels up, shaking his head. He’s trying his hardest to be composed, but how can you be in this situation?! He’s thrown his all at AJ and he keeps fighting and fighting!
Flannery McCoy: It’s impressive, without a doubt, but it can all go for naught if he does not win this match. But Vincent has dealt so much damage to AJ that he would feel the same way in the event of a loss. The personal stakes are rising in this one just off the resilience from these two!
Stew-O: Vincent certainly doesn’t look pleased about it. He rises to his feet and as AJ is trying his hardest to get up, Vincent snags ahold of his arm and hands! AJ tries to shake him off! But Vincent snatches the fingers, he starts to cra– AJ SHOVES HIM OFF JUST IN TIME!
Jake Mercer: But Vincent is persistent! He charges in but AJ CATCHES HIM WITH A BOOT! Vincent stumbles and charges back in again, ANOTHER BOOT FROM AJ! Vincent struggles up to his feet, AJ hits off the ropes and LEAPS INTO A HIGH KNEE! THEN A SPINNING BACK ELBOW STAGGERS VINCENT, AND AS HE REACHES OUT– DISCUS LARIAT FROM AJ! ‘THE 3 STEPS’ CONNECTS! VINCENT IS OUT OF, BUT AJ FALLS OVER TO THE ROPES!
Flannery McCoy: He got Vincent down, but AJ has spent so much energy that he lost control over his body right there! Vincent is hardly moving whatsoever, and AJ is trying to regain his bearings against the ropes. If he would have jumped on the pinfall, that certainly could’ve been the end of the match right there!
Jake Mercer: Now you see the visible conflict on AJ’s face. He’s aware that time has been wasted and more will be needed to win the match. Vincent rolls over, making his first move since being knocked over. AJ approaches Vincent and drags him up, leaning his head down– STEP-UP KICKS TO THE FOREHEAD! DON’T THINK VINCENT SAW THAT COMING! HE KICKS HIS HEAD UP, AND THEN THROWS A NASTY CHEST KICK!
Stew-O: He staggers him! AJ THROWS ANOTHER CHEST KICK! That one bounced off Vincent’s chest, and now he hits off the ropes– VINCENT RUNS WITH HIM AND HOOKS THE ARMS! TIGER SUPLEX BOUNCING HIM TO HIS FEET! AJ IS UP AND HE TAKES VINCENT BY THE WAIST, GERMAN SUP–
Jake Mercer: AJ GETS OVERPOWERED BY VINCENT! HE PERFORMS A STANDING SWITCH AND LIFTS HIM FOR ANOTHER GERMAN SUPLEX– WHERE IS AJ FINDING THIS DURABILITY FROM?! AJ IS UP IN THE AIR, BUT WRAPS HIS LEGS AROUND VINCENT’S WAIST TO BRING HIM DOWN IN WHEELBARROW POSITION FOR A VICTORY ROLL-
Flannery McCoy: Vincent holds his ground RIGHT as they’re about to hit the mat! He holds onto AJ’s waist and deadlifts him up in the air, TOSSING HIM ACROSS THE RING WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! THE BACK OF AJ’S HEAD SMASHES INTO THE CANVAS! I’M GRIMACING AT THE SIGHT OF THAT! AJ IS ROCKED, TRYING HIS HARDEST TO USE THE ROPES TO RISE…
Stew-O: And as he does that, Vincent already has him in his sights! He bounces off the turnbuckles into a CORNER EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! He takes the wrists of AJ and pulls him to the center, then wraps his arm around his neck and FLIPS HIM INTO THE ‘VAN GOGH ASCENDANCY!’ SPIKES HIS HEAD IN THE CANVAS WITH THE DDT FROM AN UNORTHODOX POSITION! AJ IS OUT COLD! HE ROLLS HIM OVER FOR THE COVER AND THE REFEREE IS THERE FOR THE COUNT!
Referee: OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner of this match, VIIINNCCEENNNTTTT MMOOONNDDDRRIIIAANNNN!
(Vincent rolls off of AJ whilst his theme song begins blaring throughout the PA speakers. The referee tends to AJ Redding who certainly gave it his all tonight, but Vincent simply brought more in an extremely tough matchup. He rises to his feet and climbs the top rope, raising his arms up to some fanfare from the crowd. Vincent drops off the top, nodding to the fans as he rolls out and makes his way to the back.)
Jake Mercer: Extremely impressive victory from Vincent Mondrian tonight! Both of these men made sure to have a good showing tonight, but Vincent is ready to move on to the next step of his career and that match proved exactly why.
Flannery McCoy: It sure did! AJ Redding has nothing to be ashamed of. These two men both have high aspirations for this brand and if they stick at it like they did tonight- I expect a bright future for both.
Stew-O: Agreed. That’s how we get going tonight! Vincent Mondrian is certainly going to be one to look out for on Dynasty after that one.
(The lasting shot is Vincent going up the ramp while AJ is being tended to, before the cameras cutaway.)
(A commercial plays for the WNBA.)
Stephie Love: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN PLEASE WELCOME, THE NEWWWWWWWWWW NEW BREED CHAMPION, BRAE!
(“Duel Of The Fates” epic version by Samuel Kim, hit the speakers. And it was none other than the newest man in the lineage of the New Breed Championship making his entrance. BRAE was wearing a suit and tie, as formal as he possibly can be, to symbolize the act of a champion.)
Stew-O: What went down at Pain For Pride, honestly makes me a bit shocked that BRAE is standing here with mobility now! I don’t know if there was a more physical match at Pain For Pride.. than what he and Mike had.
Flannery McCoy: There were plenty of high stake matches at Pain For Pride, careers on the line, the entire fate of a show, but something about that match felt like a fight scene that came to life!
Jake Mercer: BRAE was the one left standing, and let’s be honest here; beating Michael Machina clean at Pain For Pride, knowing you aren’t gonna see him for another year, how will this inflict the ego of BRAE?
(BRAE made his way to the ring now, as he entered. As he paced around the ring looking forward, his theme music died down. He looked at the New Breed Championship in his hand..)
BRAE: Where would I be right now, had I not won? Would I have even been drafted? Would I be on Showdown or Voltage? Would I be valued. Would I want to keep continuing my career moving forward? These are questions I all asked myself, but luckily for me…
(BRAE asked the question, as he adjusted the championship, putting it on full display.)
BRAE: Those are just question that won’t ever need to be answered, because I stand before you with every single answer; I DEFEATED MICHAEL MACHINA!
(BRAE lifted the championship high in the air, before pulling it down, and setting it along his shoulder.)
BRAE: Another season on Dynasty, and another season honing my craft. But an aesthetic that rapidly changes. Call the shot however you want, it was the best I’ve ever felt in my entire career. Maybe even the best of my entire life. That was a match that was grueling, it won’t ever be reciprocated, it won’t ever be fulfilled. It was a match where the rent was due — if you wanna put it in those terms. And at the end of the day; only one man could be the victor. In the grand scheme of reality, Michael Machina should be thanking me. I set him free, and set him towards the direction of a new beginning. But now it is my time to rule the New Breed division. As a new era is ushering in, a new king is wearing the crown. And this is going to be a division where we uplift one another. I’m gonna build off every single match. This is going to be a competitive sprint in EAW. One man is gonna topple over the other, there is going to be blood, but there is going to be FIRE. So as the man who is going to take the New Breed Division to heights it has never seen before, let me give you cruel reality that other former champions wont. I say this, not with hostility. But with truth. We are all disposable, even I. Even as champion, even after winning at Pain For Pride, I am a disposable man. Let the main event of night 3 be a horrific answer to your question. None of us are safe! But here in the New Breed Division? It’s a testament to who is going to stick around, this is the hardest phase of your career. And I am the representation of that hardest stage! I know reality, and I am gonna tell you one more time…. WE ARE DISPOSABLE. We will fade and dissappear into the unknown, if we don’t respond quickly. So this is your chance. I want someone to mimmic what I did, I want someone to step up to the champion. But just know, that stepping up to the champ, gains my respect. It may gain you respect out here, it may gain you respect back there. But it isn’t guaranteeing you victory. I am riding the cloud, known as cloud nine. And anyone who steps up as a pillar, I WILL KNOCK THEM DOWN. But I know that there are people willing back there, people that are willing to at least make a shot. And it doesn’t matter how the confrontation goes. I am demanding someone from the New Breed division arrives now. Reckless Wiring will be my first defense. My first stone to cross. I am marching into unfamiliar territory in a marquee event like that — But I am going to be pulling some lucky New Breed into those waters with me. So; this is your shot at infamy!
(BRAE lowered the microphone as he stood there. Raising his arms out, after delivering a passionate speech. He was ready for someone to come out. It didn’t matter how the confrontation went.)
BRAE: (Off Mic) It doesn’t matter if you wanna confront me face to face, or attack me from behind, I am calling you to get out here–
(BRAE was demanding competition, and he wanted it anyway. But to his surprise a challenger approaches. “Lacrimosa” epic version by Samuel Kim blasted throughout the arena. A smirk appeared across the face of BRAE, as he looked at none other than Vincent Mondrian.)
Stew-O: Vincent Mondrian just competed in a match, and instead of going and waiting in line, he is already out here calling his next shot!
Flannery McCoy: It takes a lot to truly move your body after a match, but Vincent is moving perfectly fine!
Jake Mercer: He is moving quickly, due in part to what stands at the other end of that rainbow. A New Breed Championship opportunity, against The Imperial Symphony!
(BRAE nodded his head giving Vincent even more assurance. But Vincent? He just had a fight, and he was ready for another one. Calling his shot that quickly, he entered the ring as his theme song died down, microphone at hand, he stared at the New Breed Championship, across BRAE’s shoulder.)
Vincent Mondrian: You just saw me not that long ago, so happy to see you again EAW universe. I wanna set this example, as the hardest worker this season. So this is why I am already back out here.. but now… Couldn’t help but hear BRAE, you were gonna let anyone come out and challenge you? New Breed Champion, following up one of the greatest reigns that belt has ever seen. A record breaking one at that fact, you were gonna follow it up with – just anyone? You are either a smart man, brave man, or not much of a wise one. But look, you were going to let anyone come out here. But unfortunately for you, BRAE. I am unlike anyone – I just competed in a match. I just competed in a match, again. And instead of sitting back there and cooling down, getting my body back to the position it needs to be in, I sat there and awaited for what you had to say. If you were going to give out another opportunity. I will be the one stepping up to the plate, BRAE. And I will be the one who stops “The Rage”, before it can even begin. You may have all these grander ideas for your time as champion. But I am gonna put a premature end to it, at Wreckless Wiring.
(BRAE laughed at the confidence of Vincent Mondrian, a man who came out standing on his beliefs and business. BRAE adjusted the title on his shoulder, pacing around Vincent.)
BRAE: You just competed in a grueling match, and are already making your way out to challenge me. You are a tough son of a bitch. Tougher than most, braver than many. I commend you for that, but the idea that you are going to cycle through and stop me? Makes me laugh. I just want to make sure Vincent, take a look at the New Breed Championship, because you have been unable to get your eyes off it. But take a look at the man who is holding it. This is what you want? making damn sure?
Vincent Mondrian: (Off Mic) This is exactly what I want, BRAE.
BRAE: Perfect. Because you won’t only be the first challenger for BRAE’s New Breed Championship. But the first example that is made towards an entire division. May you truly wise up in the time you are given.
(BRAE dropped the microphone and walked past Vincent. The stage was set, and the New Breed Championship was up for grabs. Vincent Mondrian was a tough man, knowing the road he was going down. And the final shot on his face was nothing but pure confidence, knowing he has what it takes to end BRAE.)
(A commercial plays for McDonald’s.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following is a triple threat match set for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Ready Aim Fire’ by Blue Stahli began blaring through the speakers to a positive reaction as Mattias Burke jogged out to the stage from behind the curtains. He pointed out to the audience as he made his way down the ramp, tagging the fans before getting into the ring.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST! Hailing from Liverpool, England, weighing in at 185 pounds… he is ‘THE EXILE’, MATTIAAAAAAAAAS! BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURKE!
Stew-O: Here comes one of the elitists who took part in Pain for Pride Kingdom’s 24/7 Battle Royale! Though it was ultimately an unsuccessful attempt, Mattias has been showing fiery motivation and positivity since his recent return to EAW! He’s already won over the hearts of many in the EAW Universe, and now he looks to start off on Friday Night Dynasty with a good start!
Flannery McCoy: He’s going to have two elitists in his path, though, that are looking to accomplish the same thing. One of them-
Jake Mercer: I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MAN TO COME TO DYNASTY! HERE HE COMES!
(“Betty (Get Money)!” by Yung Gravy began playing through the speakers, causing the live audience to begin booing heavily. Clayton Golde strutted out to the stage with a cocky sneer on his face. He sauntered down the ramp, hurling jeers back at the fans in the front row that were insulting him.)
Clayton Golde: Oh, what, you think you can insult me? Go insult your diet, tubby, whatever you’re trying ain’t working! Oh, and of course a WOMAN-
Stephie Love: AND HIS OPPONENT! Hailing from an undisclosed location in Romania, weighing in at 210 pounds… he is the ‘Golden God’, CLAYTOOOOOOOOOOOON! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLDE!
Stew-O: Needless to say, Clayton Golde is a very toxic presence that I can’t quite say I’m happy to see over here on Friday Night Dynasty. But he certainly seems to be happy to come over here to the ‘free speech brand’ as he calls it…
Jake Mercer: You don’t know ball, Stew! Clayton Golde is MADE for this brand, and without a shadow of a doubt, he’s going to go places! Just look at the way he carries himself! He’s even got GOLDE in his name, so you know he’s bound for championship gold at some point!
Flannery McCoy: Ugh, I can’t believe I have to commentate for this freak. Thank Gawd he wasn’t able to win the 24/7 Battle Royale, or else we wouldn’t have heard the end of it!
Stew-O: Like him or hate him, probably the latter, Clayton has been putting in the effort and shows no signs of stopping; with the new season, I wouldn’t be surprised if Clayton kicks it up a notch and manages to rise up in the company, much to our chagrin.
(‘Only the Strong Survive’ by Saliva began playing as the lights in the arena turned into an ominous dark red as Isaac Crowe appeared from out of the shadows. He shook his head as the adrenaline built up inside him; a maniacal laughter erupted from the Fallen Angel as he stormed down the ramp towards the ring.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING THIRD! Hailing from parts unknown, weighing in at 225 pounds… he is ‘The Fallen Angel’, ISSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAC! CROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWE!
Stew-O: This ominous figure introduced himself to EAW shortly before Pain for Pride Kingdom; we’ve only gotten to see a bit of him thus far, but with Pain for Pride Kingdom in the rear view mirror and Season 18 upon us, there’s no telling what Issac Crowe will be able to do!
Flannery McCoy: The vignettes we’ve seen from him have been eerie to say the least; I heard he even hurt one of EAW’s cameramen that came to film him!
Jake Mercer: Well, let’s be honest, who’s going to stop him? That’s not exactly a guy I want to mess with, that’s for sure.
Stew-O: Whether it’s the Golden God, the Fallen Angel, or the Exile that comes out with this first victory of Season 18 Dynasty, it’s bound to be a competitive match!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: And the match is underway! The three competitors are circling each other, looking to see who’ll make the first move, until Clayton Golde stops.
Clayton Golde: Why do I even bother doing this song and dance with you two betas? You’re both so stuck in the Matrix, I don’t even know if I can save you from it! You may as well just tap out and save me the effort; if you do, I’ll let you take the GOLDE PILL-
Flannery McCoy: AND HE GETS HIT BY A DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE, COURTESY OF BOTH MATTIAS BURKE AND ISAAC CROWE! WELL DESERVED, I SAY!
Jake Mercer: Oh, they’re just haters that can’t handle the Golde Pill!
Stew-O: But as Mattias Burke sees Clayton roll away, he doesn’t get to see Isaac Crowe come in from behind with a vicious lariat to the back of his head!
Flannery McCoy: That sends Mattias Burke down as well, and Isaac Crowe follows up with a flurry of stomps to the downed Mattias!
Jake Mercer: Isaac really showing that monstrous aggression that he talks about in his promotional videos! And now he rolls Mattias onto his back as he looks for a classic leg drop!
Stew-O: But Mattias is able to roll away just in time, leaving Isaac with nothing but the hard canvas to land on! The Exile quickly scrambles to a crouch and then lurches forward with a knee smash to the face of the Fallen Angel!
Flannery McCoy: And fall he does as he lands back-first on the canvas, with Mattias looking to take advantage with a quick hook of the leg!
ONEEEEEEEEEEE!
Jake Mercer: But Isaac pushes him off with an emphatic kick out! Both men scramble to their feet, and Mattias immediately latches on a waist lock!
Flannery McCoy: But Isaac Crowe breaks out and spins around Mattias’ back, applying a waist lock of his own!
Stew-O: Mattias looks to try the same, but Isaac lifts him off his feet and sweeps him down with a waist lock takedown! Before Mattias can get back to his feet, an elbow drop by Isaac Crowe flattens him!
Jake Mercer: Isaac follows up with a tough knee smash to the side of the Exile, and attempts a pin of his own!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Flannery McCoy: The result is about the same with neither man looking to give it up at this point in the match!
Stew-O: Isaac gets to his feet before Mattias manages to, and he measures up the Exile for a superkick!
Jake Mercer: CAUGHT! Mattias has Isaac’s foot gripped in mid-air as the Fallen Angel tries to keep his balance on one foot!
Flannery McCoy: Mattias spins him out, though, and hits him with an enziguiri to boot! This causes the Fallen Angel to stagger back in a daze as he falls back against the corner of the ring!
Stew-O: The Exile sees his opportunity as Isaac is up against the turnbuckles; with a quick hop, he sprints over to Isaac Crowe and knocks him silly with a European uppercut!
Jake Mercer: He follows it up by performing an Irish Whip to get Isaac to the other corner of the ring, where he looks to hit another running European uppercut–
Flannery McCoy: OH, BUT CLAYTON GOLDE SLIDES IN FROM OUT OF NOWHERE WITH A DISCUS ELBOW TO CUT MATTIAS BURKE OFF!
Jake Mercer: He calls that Demonetized, Flannery, and it couldn’t be more appropriate! He’s looking to stop Mattias from getting that winner’s purse! Not like Clayton NEEDS the money, given how rich he is, but Golde certainly isn’t opposed to more gold in the vault!
Stew-O: Mattias collapses to the canvas as he pretty much sprinted into that discus elbow, making it hit as hard as it possibly could! Clayton Golde gloats for a moment before he looks to trap the arms, aiming to lock in the arm-trapped Boston crab that he calls the Law of Attraction!
Flannery McCoy: BUT ISAAC COMES IN FROM BEHIND! He turns Clayton around and dramatically grabs him by the throat, and Clayton starts flailing his arms as he tries to get Isaac’s hand off him!
Clayton Golde: GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME YOU BETA CU-
Isaac Crowe: ENOUGH TALKING!
Jake Mercer: Isaac Crowe lifts the Golden God up in the air by the throat before PLANTING him on top of Mattias Burke with a monstrous chokeslam!
Stew-O: Both men are out and Isaac Crowe is left standing as he laughs at the sheer carnage he just produced!
Flannery McCoy: Mattias Burke manages to roll out of dodge, leaving Clayton Golde with Isaac Crowe who looks furiously down at him!
Jake Mercer: I tell you what, I struggle to think of two people who are more polar opposites of each other in style, and that showed with the hostility sparked between them!
Stew-O: Part of Isaac Crowe’s self-espoused purpose is to take down people like Clayton Golde, and now he’s following through on it!
Flannery McCoy: I’m not sure how I feel about Isaac Crowe, but I definitely love seeing him wreck Clayton Golde!
Jake Mercer: He grabs Clayton up by the hair – hey, careful with that, the ladies love the hair!
Flannery McCoy: :cmon:
Stew-O: And he hoists him up by the legs before PLANTING him with a spinebuster in the middle of the ring!
Flannery McCoy: He folds him up by the legs in a pin, this could be it!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Jake Mercer: :blessed: THE GOLDEN GOD KICKS OUT!
Stew-O: Oh, brother. Isaac Crowe looks ready to put Clayton Golde away, but Clayton is resilient in staying in the match!
Flannery McCoy: The Fallen Angel grabs Clayton and lifts him up again, this time onto his shoulders in an Argentine Backbreaker Rack! Is he looking for Death’s Door, his burning hammer?!
Jake Mercer: I think he might be, it’s looking bad for Clayton…
Stew-O: HE’S GOING FOR IT! DEATH’S DOOR!
Jake Mercer: OH, BUT CLAYTON BEGINS FIRING OFF ELBOWS TO THE HEAD OF THE FALLEN ANGEL TO PREVENT IT!
Flannery McCoy: Isaac is trying to wrench the Argentine backbreaker rack to eliminate Clayton’s resistance, but those elbows keep landing hard until Isaac is FORCED to drop his opponent!
Stew-O: And now Isaac is left staggering after having dealt with such damage to the head – Clayton notices this and immediately looks to capitalize!
Jake Mercer: He hoists Isaac up and drops him down onto his knee with an atomic drop! That gets Isaac hunched over in pain… leaving his head vulnerable!
Flannery McCoy: Clayton Golde applies a front facelock and flaunts it to the audience before PLANTING Isaac Crowe with that DDT!
Stew-O: Beneath all the toxicity is an actually good wrestler; it’s too bad it’s hidden underneath that ‘Golde Pill’ nonsense.
Jake Mercer: Like him or hate him, he’s in control of the match right now, and he steps out onto the apron as he eyes the fallen… Fallen Angel!
Flannery McCoy: Smooth.
Stew-O: He grabs that top rope as he licks his lips, bracing himself… HE SPRINGBOARDS UP! Clayton Golde goes flying through the air, doing a front flip before landing with a diving 450 leg drop onto Isaac Crowe!
Jake Mercer: He gets up and spreads his arms out wide!
Clayton Golde: Time for… a GOLDE RUSH!
Stew-O: AND HE PERFORMS A STANDING LEG DROP! Gets up rather quickly after it, too…
Flannery McCoy: All because he’s going for another one!
Jake Mercer: This is Clayton’s Golde Rush! Leg drop after leg drop after leg drop, he’s relentless with it!
Stew-O: … AND A FIFTH LEG DROP LANDS! Isaac Crowe is looking out cold as Clayton lies down and hooks the leg for the win!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-
Flannery McCoy: OH! MATTIAS BURKE COMES SLIDING BACK IN WITH A BASEBALL SLIDE DROPKICK TO THE MIDSECTION OF CLAYTON GOLDE!
Jake Mercer: DAMN IT! That breaks up the pin, and the impact sends Isaac Crowe rolling away from Clayton Golde as he falls out of the ring from beneath the bottom rope!
Stew-O: Clayton is left clutching his abdomen on the canvas as Mattias Burke surges up to the top rope with a bunch of adrenaline!
Flannery McCoy: A MAGNIFICENT SHOOTING STAR PRESS BY MATTIAS BURKE AS HE COMES CRASHING DOWN ONTO CLAYTON GOLDE! IS THIS IT?!
Stew-O: It looks like he doesn’t think so; there have been quite a few failed pinfalls in this match, and it seems as though Mattias is looking to put him down decisively!
Jake Mercer: He Irish whips Clayton to the ropes as he sprints over to meet him back in the middle of the ring– BICYCLE KNEE!
Stew-O: THE BICYCLE KNEE CONNECTS, AND MATTIAS BURKE CALLS THAT THE BLAST POINT! Clayton collapses to the canvas, but not before Mattias grabs him by the wrist!
Flannery McCoy: He drags him by the wrist near the corner, before he backs up to the opposite corner and takes aim! What in the world is he planning with this set up?!
Jake Mercer: He sprints over to where Clayton is laid out–
Stew-O: AND HE PERFORMS A RUNNING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO CLAYTON IN ORDER TO BOUNCE UP TO THE MIDDLE ROPE!
Flannery McCoy: From the middle rope, he jumps up and spins onto the top rope so he’s facing inside the ring! He reaches up into the sky as he beckons to the audience!
Jake Mercer: BRITISH AIRWAYS! THE 450 SPLASH OF MATTIAS BURKE CONNECTS!
Stew-O: AND MATTIAS HOOKS BOTH LEGS AWAY FROM THE ROPE, SHOWING SOME RING IQ WHILE HE’S AT IT!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(‘Ready Aim Fire’ by Blue Stahli begins blaring through the speakers once again as the crowd cheers for Mattias Burke’s victory!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… THE EXILE, MATTIAAAAAAAAAS! BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURKE!
Stew-O: A great showing by all three New Breeds, but ultimately it was Mattias Burke who was able to come out on top over the sinister Isaac Crowe and the arrogant Clayton Golde!
Flannery McCoy: Out of the three of them, I’m glad Mattias was the one to get it; I was just about sick of Clayton’s BS, and Isaac was making me afraid he was going to come over here and beat us up for the thrill of it!
Jake Mercer: :mjcry:
Stew-O: Despite a loss at the 24/7 Battle Royale, Mattias Burke starts off his Dynasty journey with a victory, and that could be a sign of things to come if he keeps it up!
(The video feed slowly fades to black as Mattias Burke gets his hand raised by the referee in victory. Clayton comes to as he clutches his rib cage, and Isaac Crowe glares menacingly from ringside at the victorious Mattias.)
(Dynasty fades backstage where Michael Belfort is standing behind the Dynasty backdrop.)
Michael Belfort: It’s been an impressive show so far! And, we’re just getting things started around here! At the Draft, we saw the women’s division heat up with a series of competitors stepping up to Milli Banks and the Universal Women’s Championship. Right now, with me, we got a woman, who fell short in capturing the Specialists Championship at Pain for Pride. From Showdown, she makes Dynasty her home, where she desires to add some championship gold to her resume. Please welcome at this time…Usagi Senshi!
(The crowd in the Spectrum Center is heard booing in the background at the first sign of the ‘Starboy’ herself, Usagi Senshi. Usagi is dressed in her signature ring gear, knowing that she will be competing against Daniella Atlas up next. Usagi’s facial expression tells the entire story of not feeling quite happy about how Pain for Pride went for her, but it lights a fire within her to succeed this season.)
Michael Belfort: Now, Usagi, last season, one of the more notable things was turning on your former friend and Ice Aces partner, Aria Lestrade, as you had single’s aspirations on the horizon. Last season, it was all about showcasing yourself as a single’s competitor and someone who can wrestle at a World Championship level. You fell short at defeating Minerva at King of Elite for the Universal Women’s Championship. Your next championship opportunity would occur at Pain for Pride as you found yourself in a Triple Threat match against Mia Santoro and the Specialists Champion, KASAI, where you would find yourself on the receiving end of the pin. From all of that, what are your thoughts on being on Dynasty?
Usagi Senshi: With the new scenery on Dynasty, it provides me with an opportunity to start fresh and set forth a new path. When I turned on ARIA or Aria Lestrade or whatever the fuck she wants to call herself, I wanted to showcase myself as the superior one out of the two of us. I had clear hopes that I would find myself on a faster trajectory to get my first championship in EAW. At Road to Redemption, when I shed myself out of that Aria stench, it should have begun my rise to the top of Elite Answers Wrestling. Stepping up to Minerva should have continued that rise. Win or loss, it didn’t matter, but it should have shown everyone that Usagi Senshi should be the name on everyone’s tongue. Instead, I had to watch Aria be blessed with opportunity after opportunity. I had to watch Aria challenge for the Universal Women’s Championship, the National Elite Championship, get a spot at Cash in the Vault – undeservingly, if I do say so, myself. But, I don’t want to give Aria the attention that she desires. She would love nothing more than for me to continue talking about her, but she doesn’t deserve a fraction of my time. We’re on different brands. If there are two blessings that came from this draft, it’s one: I’m away from Aria. Two: if there is anyone who could use the fresh start, it’s me.
Usagi Senshi: I haven’t been successful as I would have hoped to in the past. Perhaps, a fresh start is exactly what I need. I know that this may be shocking, Michael, but I have been playing nice. Nicer than I would have liked. Nicer for my standards, at least. Regardless, that time is over and done with. I want to take advantage of all of that. I’m in a new place. While people are going to look towards the direction of Minerva and Raven Roberts, I want to add my name to that conversation. I want to take advantage of the opportunity presented to me by being part of the Dynasty roster. I see the competition and I got a thing or two that I want to say to them —
(Usagi Senshi pulls Michael Belfort’s microphone closer to her. She looks into the hard camera, almost like she’s looking into the soul of whoever will be watching this.)
Usagi Senshi: If any of you want to get in my way, you are going to pay for it. From the champion herself, Milli Banks to Minerva to Raven Roberts to the bottom of the barrel talent like Daniella Atlas —
???: Bottom of the barrel? Are you kidding me?
(Daniella Atlas enters the camera frame as she stares down at Usagi Senshi. Michael Belfort has his microphone in between these two women.)
Daniella Atlas: Who gave you the audacity to call me “bottom of the barrel talent?” Didn’t you get pinned at Pain for Pride? Didn’t you lose to Minerva at King of Elite? Before that, weren’t you floundering around the Voltage roster, wittering away to irrelevancy with your even more irrelevant girlfriend while Aria Lestrade went off to be more relevant than the two of you combined? I know, it must have eaten you up inside watching Aria be blessed with all of the opportunities knowing deep down, you thought that you were the better wrestler than here. You thought that you should be in her spotlight. You wanted to call yourself the leader of the Ice Aces, yet, you couldn’t lead yourself to a championship. At least, when you were playing second to Aria, you were getting camera time. That was the last time that Usagi Senshi was relevant to the fans. Now, you’re nothing more than a joke. Someone who lost all of her friends. The Ice Aces are not a factor. Aria wouldn’t touch you with a ten foot pole. The British Invasion won’t be here to protect you all the way on Voltage. Do you expect anyone to want to align with you on Dynasty? I certainly wouldn’t. The last glimmer of hope is you believing that Dynasty and the change of scenery is what you need to change your career around, but it’s not going to be the place to turn things around, Usagi. If there is anyone who is rising up the ranks, that’s going to be me.
Usagi Senshi: You want to talk about my losses? But, while I was in the championship picture at Pain for Pride, where were you? In the 24/7 Battle Royal. You were thrown in the match, where Elitists get thrown into, if there is no other direction for them at Pain for Pride. The last case scenario for someone that wants to be on a Pain for Pride card. For bottom of the barrel talent. I mean, you competed in something called the “Madison Kaline Worthless Rookie Invitational’…and you couldn’t even win that! Let’s talk about Grand Rampage. You fell short in getting the National Elite Championship from Veena Adams. You fumbled the opportunity that the TLC match at Reasonable Doubt did for you. You could have used that opportunity to have any match that you wanted and yet, you chose a match, where you never stood a chance at winning.
Daniella Atlas: Excuse me for being confident in my abilities? Maybe, underestimated how things were going to go down. But, if I was going to call my shot, it was going to be for a huge opportunity. An opportunity that was going to get the name ‘Daniella Atlas’ on the map. It was going up against one with a well-known and respected last name like ‘Adams.’ A match that I earned on my own merit. I did the honorable thing by earning my opportunity at a championship. Just like, I will earn whatever opportunity steps in my way next. Just like how things should be.
Usagi Senshi: And, you weren’t the only one to be placed in that match, so it kind of makes that whole TLC match kind of pointless, huh? Imagine putting in all of that work and yet, two women, who couldn’t even defeat the other, managed to insert themselves into the match.
Daniella Atlas: Just like Mia Santoro had to interject herself into what could have been your one-on-one with KASAI at Pain for Pride? Even then, what did any of you two do to earn yourselves a shot at the Specialists Championship?
(Usagi Senshi stays silent as a smirk forms across Daniella Atlas’ lips.)
Daniella Atlas: My point exactly —
Usagi Senshi:— I stepped up to the champion and took her down. And now, I’ll take you down!
(Usagi Senshi throws a MASSIVE punch to Daniella Atlas that stumbles her back. Before you know it, Usagi and Daniella are brawling backstage, knocking over the Dynasty red backdrop and causing Michael Belfort to run away. The two women are throwing punches and kicks to each other. They are shoving each other down to the ground, looking to get their punches in. A series of referees come to pull both Usagi and Daniella off of each other.)
Referee: (off-mic) YOUR GUYS’ MATCH IS UP NEXT! YOU CAN SETTLE IT THERE!
(A bunch of inaudible screaming is heard between Usagi Senshi and Daniella Atlas. It’s unclear of what’s being shouted between those two, but the referee manages to pull away Usagi from the camera shot, leaving Daniella to stare directly ahead at the direction Usagi left in.)
(A commercial plays for Final Fantasy XVI. Remember when that game got released? Me neither.)
(Dynasty fades back to ringside.)
(‘Vortex’ by Jinjer begins to play through the speakers of the Spectrum Center as Daniella Atlas comes out, still a little annoyed due to her interaction with Usagi Senshi, which led to both women brawling backstage before being separated by dozens of referees.)
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL —
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!!!
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST…FROM DUNKIRK, FRANCE…SHE IS ‘THE BLACK FLAME’…DANIELLA ATLAS!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Here is the woman who will make her presence here on Friday Night Dynasty. Someone who first appeared on the Showdown brand and made an impact for herself as she defeated several other Elitists in the ‘Call Your Shot’ Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match at Reasonable Doubt. She would go on to compete in a Fatal-4-Way match at Grand Rampage for the National Elite Championship. She had a good go at Pain for Pride in the 24/7 Battle Royal, but now, she looks to make an impact on Dynasty!
Flannery McCoy: A ton of untapped potential that was first spotted on Saturday Night Showdown, but we can only hope that Dynasty is where she taps into that potential and becomes an unstoppable force in the women’s division!
Jake Mercer: I thought it was kind of bold to interrupt Usagi Senshi’s interview right BEFORE their match. Maybe, it was her way of playing mind games, trying to get underneath the skin of Usagi. Maybe, Daniella thought that she deserved Usagi’s camera time? But, will this be the smartest approach to take? We’ll have to wait and see!
(‘I’m not a woman, I’m a god’ by Halsey begins to replace ‘Vortex’ as Usagi Senshi walks out from the back, glaring at Daniella Atlas, who glares right back at her. If anything, Usagi is annoyed that the one opportunity she has to express herself and speak her mind, it’s interrupted by someone that doesn’t have the right to interrupt her.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING HER OPPONENT…FROM FUKUOKA, JAPAN…SHE IS THE ‘STARBOY’…USAGI SENSHI!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Usagi Senshi is looking to carve her own path in Elite Answers Wrestling and she’ll be doing that on Dynasty this season. She wants to be more than a member of The Ice Aces, more than a friend to ARIA or a friend to The British Invasion. She wants people to look at Usagi Senshi and see the very best. She wants to be something that she can be proud of.
Flannery McCoy: A talented Elitist. She’s taken the likes of Minerva to the limit. She has all the tools to be a champion in EAW, but she needs to be more cutthroat when it comes to getting the opportunities that she wants.
Jake Mercer: I actually agree with you, Flannery. EAW doesn’t give opportunities to those that just sit around. They give opportunities to those who take the initiative. It’s what led her to getting a shot at the Specialists Championship at Pain for Pride. We need more of that energy from Usagi that attacked KASAI and proved to be a threat to her reign. If she can channel that in this match, Daniella’s in trouble.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: The two women go for a lock up, BUT DANIELLA ATLAS MANAGES TO SHOVE USAGI SENSHI BACK! USAGI ROLLS HER WAY BACK TO HER FEET AS SHE MAY HAVE NOT ANTICIPATED MUCH OF THE STRENGTH BY DANIELLA! THE TWO WOMEN GO TO LOCK UP ONCE MORE, BUT DANIELLA MANAGES TO SHOVE USAGI BACK ONCE AGAIN! USAGI SHAKES HER HEAD, REALIZING THAT DANIELLA IS NOT GOING EASY ON HER! USAGI FINDS HER WAY BACK TO HER FEET AS SHE USES HER ARM TO SCOOP THE WAIST OF DANIELLA AND GET RIGHT BEHIND HER! IT SEEMS LIKE USAGI IS GOING FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX! BUT, DANIELLA MANAGES TO LAND AN ELBOW TO THE FACE OF USAGI!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella Atlas reaches behind and gets a hold of the head of Usagi Senshi! We see Daniella looking to apply a headlock to Usagi as she drops down to a knee! But, Usagi manages to push her head away from the grasp of Daniella! Daniella turns herself around as Usagi connects with a spinning heel kick that causes Daniella to fall on her back! The so-called ‘Starboy’ manages to get on top of Daniella and connect with some left and right punches to her face! Usagi manages to get the back of Daniella’s neck and get her to her feet! We see Usagi throwing Daniella’s skull first against the turnbuckle at the corner! She turns herself around as Usagi runs right towards her and connects with a single leg dropkick at the corner!
Jake Mercer: Usagi Senshi sees that Daniella Atlas is finding herself in a seated position as she begins to stomp off the ribs of the taller woman! Then, we see Usagi connecting with a high angle corner foot choke as she begins to trash talk some of the fans! Both are tremendous women who shined on Showdown last season! The mean streak of Usagi Senshi is something that I want to see highlighted more!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!
Stew-O: Usagi Senshi is trying to avoid any sort of disqualification! She has her hands up where the referee can see them as she begins to back away from Daniella Atlas! At the first sign of Daniella getting to her feet, Usagi charges right after Daniella with a running forearm as she strikes the other woman to a seated position at the corner! Daniella collapses down as Usagi begins to batter Daniella with left and right punches! THEN, WE SEE USAGI GRAB A FIST FULL OF DANIELLA’S HAIR BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A HAIR PULL SLAM TO THE TURNBUCKLE AT THE CORNER! BUT, IT SEEMS LIKE USAGI IS NOT DONE THERE! SHE GRABS DANIELLA BY HER HAIR ONCE MORE BEFORE CONNECTING WITH ANOTHER HAIR PULL SLAM! AND ANOTHER ONE! AND ANOTHER ONE! AND ANOTHER ONE! USAGI IS NOT HOLDING BACK WHEN IT COMES TO THAT! SHE GRABS DANIELLA, HOOKS HER ARMS UNDERNEATH DANIELLA’S —
Flannery McCoy: Usagi Senshi connects with a dragon suplex as she takes Daniella Atlas down! Usagi runs after Daniella and connects with a sliding clothesline as she knocks Daniella to her back! Usagi races for the cover!
OOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
TTTTTTWWWWW—
Jake Mercer: Daniella Atlas delivers a powerful kick out that almost knocks Usagi Senshi off of her! Usagi knows that she needs to stay on the defense and try to avoid Daniella getting back to her feet! Obviously, there is a power and strength that Daniella has that Usagi lacks! But, Usagi has a ton of speed and strikes that she could use to her advantage! It’s what makes this match up such an interesting combination! Usagi finds her way back to her feet first as she manages to get Daniella in a front headlock! Usagi connects with a jumping DDT as that spikes Daniella on the top of her head!
Stew-O: Usagi Senshi finds herself back up as she forces Daniella Atlas back up to her feet! Usagi begins to connect with a whole mixture of kicks and strikes as she manages to back Daniella to the corner! Usagi is not letting Daniella breathe for a second as Usagi tops all of that off with a spinning heel kick as she takes the taller woman down! But, Usagi manages to get Daniella in a front headlock and it…she drapes Daniella’s feet on the second rope! I think that Usagi is looking for that elevated DDT!
Flannery McCoy: NO! DANIELLA ATLAS MANAGES TO GET ONE OF HER FEET OUT OF THE WAY! SHE MANAGES TO SHOVE USAGI SENSHI AWAY, CREATING SOME TIME FOR HERSELF! DANIELLA GETS HER OTHER FOOT OFF THE SECOND ROPE AS USAGI GOES RIGHT AFTER HER, BUT DANIELLA CONNECTS WITH A DISCUS LARIAT AS SHE MANAGES TO TAKE THE ‘STARBOY’ DOWN! NOW, IT SEEMS LIKE IT’S DANIELLA’S TIME TO DISH OUT SOME PUNISHMENT TO USAGI! SHE MANAGES TO PICK UP USAGI BY A FISTFUL OF HER HAIR AND THROW THROW HER HEAD FIRST AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLE AT THE CORNER! Daniella begins to connect with some mudhole stomps as Usagi collapses down to a seated position! She begins to take a couple of steps back before running towards Usagi and connecting with a face wash! The back of Usagi’s head goes against the steel turnbuckle!
Jake Mercer: Daniella Atlas picks up Usagi Senshi by one of her arms and goes for that ripcord lariat that she Iikes to call ‘Inamorata’, BUT USAGI MANAGES TO DUCK IT BEFORE DANIELLA COULD TURN HER AROUND TO GO FOR THE LARIAT! DANIELLA TURNS AROUND AS USAGI LOOKS TO CONNECT WITH A SUPERKICK, BUT DANIELLA MANAGES TO CATCH USAGI’S LEG BEFORE SHE COULD CONNECT WITH THAT SUPERKICK! USAGI MAY BE REGRETTING THAT AS DANIELLA HAS A WICKED GRIN ON HER FACE —
Stew-O: Dragon screw leg whip by Daniella Atlas as that takes Usagi Senshi to the mat! Usagi finds herself in a crawling position as Daniella looks to follow that up with a swift kick to the side of the abdomen as Usagi rolls to her back! Daniella manages to grab one of Usagi’s arms before bending it to the back of her head! DANIELLA WITH A GIANT STOMP TO THAT ARM CAUSES USAGI TO WIGGLE AROUND LIKE A FISH AS SHE REACHES FOR HER ARM, BUT DANIELLA IS NOT GOING TO LET THAT HAPPEN AS SHE MANAGES TO GET USAGI’S ARM BEHIND HER HEAD IN A BRIDGE! DANIELLA WAITS FOR THE PERFECT MOMENT BEFORE DELIVERING ANOTHER GIANT STOMP TO THE ARM OF USAGI AS THAT CAUSES HER TO WIGGLE IN PAIN! SHE REACHES FOR HER ARM AS DANIELLA MANAGES TO GET POSSESSION OF THE ARM —
Flannery McCoy: Daniella Atlas bridges the arm behind Usagi Senshi’s head, BUT INSTEAD OF STOMPING IT, DANIELLA BEGINS TO PRESS ON USAGI’S FINGERS WITH HER BOOT! NOW, THIS DOESN’T LOOK TO BE A GREAT FEELING WHATSOEVER! IT LOOKS QUITE PAINFUL AS USAGI BEGINS TO CRY OUT IN PAIN! Still, we see that Usagi is trying to break free of the hold! She is trying to use her other hand to place on the ankle of Daniella and try to move her arm, but she can’t do that without adding some risk on what Daniella can do to the other hand of her’s!
Jake Mercer: Daniella Atlas uses her other boot to kick Usagi Senshi in the face! This takes Usagi to her back, but Daniella begins to grasp on Usagi’s hair once more! She takes Usagi to the ropes and drapes her head through the middle rope before placing her knee on the back of Usagi’s neck and applying a rope choke! Usagi is choking, trying to get herself out of the situation! But, Daniella has had a great hold of her in these past few moments of this match up! She is applying pressure to the back of Usagi’s neck as we await for the referee’s count!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! GET OFF OF HER, DANIELLA!
Stew-O: Daniella Atlas does not want to risk disqualification – at least, not yet, it seems. Usagi Senshi turns herself around as she tries to regain some air to her lungs! The referee scowls Daniella on listening to him as Daniella seems to brush it off! She sees that Usagi is trying to find her way back to her feet, but Daniella manages to pull Usagi closer in a front headlock and connect with a front suplex, but Usagi lands right on the top rope! Usagi is teetering back-and-forth as Daniella gets Usagi’s feet draping on that top rope! Oh god, I think that we’re going to see an intensified version of the elevated DDT that Usagi wanted to execute a bit earlier in this match —
Flannery McCoy: — no! It seemed like Usagi Senshi knew what Daniella Atlas was intending to do! She slides out of the grasp of Daniella and lands on the apron! Daniella looks to forearm Usagi off the top turnbuckle, but Usagi connects with a shoulder thrust through the middle rope as she manages to cause Daniella to stumble back! Usagi climbs up the top turnbuckle as it looks like she’ll be looking for a high-risk, high reward kind of situation! But, Daniella doesn’t look to back down for too long as she manages to join Usagi up on that top turnbuckle! But, Usagi is throwing a punch to Daniella in hopes to knock her off the top rope! BUT, DANIELLA CONNECTS WITH A PUNCH TO USAGI IN HOPES TO GET HER IN A SEATED POSITION ON THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! USAGI WITH A PUNCH TO DANIELLA! DANIELLA WITH A PUNCH TO USAGI! USAGI WITH A PUNCH TO DANIELLA! DANIELLA WITH A PUNCH TO USAGI! USAGI! DANIELLA! USAGI! DANIELLA! USAGI! DANIELLA! THESE TWO WOMEN ARE TRADING PUNCHES, BEATING THE HELL OUT OF EACH OTHER —
Jake Mercer: AND, IT’S DANIELLA ATLAS WITH A NASTY LOOKING HEADBUTT BEFORE GETTING USAGI SENSHI INTO POSITION AND CONNECTING WITH A SUPERPLEX! DANIELLA WITH A SUPERPLEX FROM THE TOP ROPE TO USAGI AS BOTH THESE WOMEN GO CRASHING DOWN TO THE MAT! I WOULD NOT BE SHOCKED IF THAT RIPPED USAGI IN HALF! I CAN’T IMAGINE HOW ANYONE WOULD BE OKAY AFTER TAKING THAT HARSH-LOOKING SUPERPLEX! DANIELLA IS THE FIRST ONE UP TO HER FEET! SHE BEGINS TO GET USAGI SENSHI UP TO POSITION! IT SEEMS LIKE DANIELLA PLANS TO WRAP THIS UP WITH A PUMPHANDLE DROP THAT SHE CALLS ‘SOUTH OF HAVEN!’
Stew-O: But, Usagi Senshi manages to slide out of the move and — she slides out of the ring! Usagi saw the chances of her winning the match slipping away from her and needed to do something that may not be popular with the crowd, but it was right for her! Daniella Atlas is demanding for Usagi to get back inside the ring, but Usagi seems to be taking her sweet time! The referee won’t be so lenient for long, so Usagi will need to pick and choose her battles! At the same time, she’s aware that she needs to figure out some way to get herself out of the situation and not allow Daniella to get the best of her!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella Atlas begins to exit the ring, stepping through the middle ropes, BUT USAGI SENSHI MANAGES TO STOP THE WOMAN IN HER TRACKS BY CONNECTING WITH A HUGE FOREARM ACROSS THE SIDE OF DANIELLA’S FACE! THIS KNOCKS DANIELLA DOWN TO THE FLOOR AT RINGSIDE! NOW, WE SEE USAGI BEGINNING TO STOMP ON THE DEFENSELESS BODY OF THE FRANCE NATIVE! USAGI PICKS UP DANIELLA AND THROWS HER BODY-FIRST AGAINST THE BARRICADE! THEN, WE SEE USAGI PRESSING HER BOOT ON THE NECK OF THE TALLER WOMAN! SHE EXTENDS HER ARMS OUT IN CONFIDENCE AS THE NEGATIVITY OF THE CROWD IS JUST MAKING HER HAPPY!
Jake Mercer: I like a woman, who doesn’t care about the reception of this fickle crowd, Flann! The energy we need here on Dynasty! Usagi Senshi picks up Daniella Atlas by the back of her head and throws her ribs-first against the edge of the apron! This causes Daniella to stumble back as Usagi picks up Daniella and connects with a back suplex! But, Daniella’s spine collides with the top of the barricade before dropping down! She looks tremendous, Stew and Flann! Usagi climbs to the apron as she sees that Daniella is trying to rise back to her feet! Usagi jumps off the apron and connects with a double axe punch to the spine of Daniella as that keeps her down!
Stew-O: Usagi Senshi gets Daniella Atlas and rolls her back inside the ring! Usagi slides back inside the ring shortly after before picking up Daniella, placing her in a fireman’s carry position before connecting with a ‘Critical Darling’ — the Samoan driver takes Daniella down as Usagi looks to secure the victory here!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
TTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella Atlas with a kick out! Usagi Senshi slams her hands against the mat, hyping herself up! She rises to her feet as she waits for Daniella to get to her own feet! Usagi goes back to the ropes, rebounding off of them before — ‘FATALITY’ — HER VARIATION OF THE BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE LOOKS TO TAKE DOWN DANIELLA! BUT, DANIELLA MANAGES TO DROP TO A KNEE AS USAGI MISSES THE KNEE TO THE SIDE OF DANIELLA’S TEMPLE! BUT, DANIELLA HAS A GOOD HOLD ON USAGI SENSHI! SHE GETS USAGI INTO POSITION FOR THE NIAGARA DRIVER THAT SHE LIKES TO CALL ‘ANIMUS!’ USAGI GETS DROPPED ON THE BACK OF HER NECK AS DANIELLA HAS USAGI IN POSITION FOR THE COVER! IS THIS ALL THAT’S GOING TO TAKE?!??!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: Usagi Senshi kicks out! Daniella Atlas can’t seem to believe that, but she continues on! She rises to her feet as she looks to get Usagi in position for that pumphandle drop that she attempted earlier in this match! BUT, WHEN USAGI IS DEADLIFTED UP, USAGI SLIDES OVER ONE OF DANIELLA’S SHOULDERS! THERE, WE SEE DANIELLA BEING PUSHED AGAINST THE HORIZONTAL SET OF ROPES AS USAGI LOOKS TO GO FOR AN O’CONNOR ROLL WITH A BRIDGE!
OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Stew-O: NO! DANIELLA ATLAS MANAGES TO TAKE USAGI SENSHI BACK WITH A RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX! DANIELLA FINDS A WAY UP TO HER FEET AS SHE SEES THAT USAGI IS SCRAMBLING UP TO HER FEET! DANIELLA CHARGES TOWARDS USAGI AND NAILS HER WITH A ‘INAMORATA’ — THE RUNNING VARIATION OF HER LARIAT AS THAT TAKES DOWN THE ‘STARBOY!’IT SEEMS LIKE DANIELLA STILL HAS THAT ‘SOUTH OF HEAVEN’ STILL ON HER MIND! SHE’S ATTEMPTED IT TWICE IN THIS MATCH, SO IS THE THIRD TIME GOING TO BE THE CHARM WITH HER?
Flannery McCoy: No! Usagi Senshi tries to create some distance for herself as she kicks Daniella Atlas away from her! But, Daniella goes right after her as she lands right into a forearm smash by Usagi! Then, a European uppercut! Then, a spinning backfist before concluding all of that with a roundhouse kick! ‘The Elite Combo’ that Usagi has used in many of her matches! The force of all of those moves simultaneously was enough to knock Daniella to the ground! Now, we see that Usagi is looking at that top turnbuckle! She tried going for the top turnbuckle earlier in this match, but Daniella was able to shut that down with a superplex! It seems like Usagi is looking to capitalize and begin her season on Dynasty with a victory in her pocket!
Jake Mercer: ‘FALL TO PIECES’ — THE DIVING ELBOW DROP TO THE CHEST OF DANIELLA ATLAS! NO! DANIELLA RISES TO HER FEET, OUT OF NOWHERE, AND CONNECTS WITH A SCOOP SLAM ON USAGI SENSHI! DANIELLA MANAGES TO PLAY POSSUM FOR JUST A MOMENT TO CATCH USAGI BY SURPRISE! I THINK THAT USAGI WAS QUITE SURPRISED ABOUT THAT AS MUCH AS I WAS! DANIELLA MANAGES TO GET USAGI UP AND INTO POSITION FOR THE SWINGING REVERSE STO! DANIELLA LIKES TO CALL THIS ‘THE MEMORY ROOM’ —
Stew-O: BUT, USAGI SENSHI MANAGES TO JUMP OUT OF THE WAY AND PREVENT DANIELLA ATLAS FROM EXECUTING THIS MOVE! USAGI CONNECTS WITH A SPINNING BACKFIST AS THAT TAKES DANIELLA BACK! BUT, DANIELLA RUSHES FORWARD TO NAIL A FOREARM SMASH TO USAGI’S FACE AS THAT STOPS HER IN HER TRACKS! BUT, USAGI MANAGES TO CONNECT WITH A KNIFE EDGE CHOP TO THE CHEST! DANIELLA RETURNS THE FAVOR BY CONNECT WITH A PALM STRIKE TO USAGI’S CHEST! USAGI WITH A KNIFE EDGE CHOP! DANIELLA WITH PALM STRIKE! BACK-AND-FORTH, THESE TWO WARRIORS ARE NAILING EACH OTHER WITH THE STIFFEST CHOPS TO THE CHEST THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN! DANIELLA CHARGES USAGI WITH A CLOTHESLINE, BUT USAGI DUCKS THE CLOTHESLINE! SHE JUMPS TO THE HORIZONTAL SET OF ROPES, JUMPS OFF OF THEM, TURNS HERSELF AROUND SLIGHTLY BEFORE NAILING DANIELLA WITH A METEORA AS THAT TAKES HER DOWN! USAGI CONNECTS WITH A SERIES OF LEFT AND RIGHT STRIKES TO THE FACE! USAGI IS FIRED UP!
Flannery McCoy: Usagi Senshi rises to her feet as she is fired up! She is hyping herself up before going back to the ropes! She is stalking Daniella Atlas to her feet as she charges right towards the taller woman — ‘Fatality!’
Jake Mercer: NO! DANIELLA ATLAS DUCKS THE KICK! SHE KNEW WHAT USAGI SENSHI WAS LOOKING TO DO AND WAS ABLE TO GET HERSELF DOWN BEFORE USAGI COULD CONNECT WITH THE MOVE! THIS CAUSES DANIELLA TO GRAB USAGI AND GET HER IN A FIREMAN’S CARRY POSITION! BUT, USAGI MANAGES TO REPOSITION HERSELF ON DANIELLA’S SHOULDERS! SHE FINDS HERSELF IN A SEATED POSITION ON DANIELLA’S SHOULDERS AS —
Stew-O: ‘GOT YA’ — THE ELECTRIC CHAIR SPINNING WHEELBARROW VICTORY ROLL ON DANIELLA ATLAS! IS USAGI GOING TO SECURE THE VICTORY HERE?!?!?
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHHH—
Flannery McCoy: NO! DANIELLA ATLAS COUNTERS THAT ROLL UP WITH A VICTORY ROLL OF HER OWN AS SHE ROLLS USAGI SENSHI BACK! IS SHE GOING TO STEAL THE VICTORY FROM USAGI SENSHI?!??!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: AND, SHE DOES!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Vortex’ plays once more as Daniella Atlas rolls herself out of the ring before Usagi Senshi could get her hands on her. Usagi is in complete disbelief of what just happened. One moment, she thought that she had the victory secured. The next, Daniella was able to counter that victory roll into a roll up of her own and declare herself the winner.)
Stephie Love: THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH…DANIELLA ATLAS!!!!!!!
Stew-O: An impressive victory by ‘The Black Flame!’ The newcomer who made an impact on the Showdown brand might be looking to continue that impact on the Dynasty brand as she gets a victory over Usagi Senshi!
Flannery McCoy: Usagi Senshi can’t seem to believe it! She thought that she had Daniella Atlas where she wanted her! It was a fantastic performance from her! She demonstrated the type of wrestler that she is and what she can offer to the Dynasty brand! She’s going to be someone to look out for!
Jake Mercer: I have a soft spot for the Japanese Elitists in the EAW roster. Daniella Atlas saw an opportunity to counter with a roll up and she took it! Just like anyone else would have! I gotta give her props! But, Usagi is going to come back more fired up and lethal than ever! I can’t wait to see that!
(Daniella grins as she walks away before we fade to commercials.)
(A commercial plays for Midsummer Massacre, the Showdown-exclusive FPV!)
(Daniella Atlas can be seen roaming the halls backstage, with a brief arm around her waist after her successful match against Usagi Senshi that has managed to go her way. She keeps her gaze looking forward, only to sport quite the illustrious grin over her own face as she sees a familiar face backstage as well.)
Daniella Atlas: Well, I did wonder how we would come across one another at some point… Holly Arrow.
(Holly Arrow can be seen glancing upward toward Daniella, as she was preparing for her match with Mia Santoro that is meant to take place in a matter of moments. Holly would bring herself up to her own feet after stretching, looking directly toward Daniella as she did not sport the same brash attitude that Atlas seemed to reside within after her victory.)
Holly Arrow: Right, I see you’re in good spirits after your first match here on Dynasty. My congrats to you in that regard, Daniella, and I am certain you will procure quite the career for yourself—though I do need my preparation. So, if you’d kindly?
Daniella Atlas: Oh, the courtesy is all mine to uphold, ma chére. I have seen what you have been able to accomplish, which I can easily regard to a greater degree than I ever could have for my previous opponent… But that is not the matter of attention here. Got your monitor propped up there and all, surely you were able to bear witness to every second of the battle while you were laying in wait for your own match to come about. I understand the ground you were able to cover so graciously as a tag team competitor with your reign, although… You must understand, I am not interested in being patient. I will not fall into the same positions that countless others have, and tonight has served to be every indication of that. I’ve only just begun. I suggest you continue to watch as I only continue to grow into the threat to this roster I know well & truest to my potential. I will not be overlooked…
(Holly would cross her arms, tilting her head as she looked toward her.)
Holly Arrow: Has your diatribe concluded, Daniella? I understand looking to express your confidence, but you’re trying a little too hard to convince me that I should give a damn. Do you comprehend exactly how much I have been through over the last three and a half years of my career as an elitist? I have gone to war with women you wouldn’t think about crossing any line toward without a death wish. I have battled with some of the very best that this entire wrestling world has to offer, so please, don’t try to prop yourself up as someone that even understands a fraction of what I speak of. You enjoyed your win tonight, but that’s where formalities will have to halt from my end if you wish to view me as a direct enemy here. What do you know about being patient when I have been patient for my time to come as World Champion for all of these years, despite working tirelessly to achieve such an accolade? You don’t understand struggle yet, Daniella. I doubt you ever will when it comes to me.
(Daniella could only chuckle to herself as she shook her own head, glaring toward her.)
Daniella Atlas: You’re right, Holly. I don’t understand the level of struggle that you have experienced—because why in the very fucking depths of Hell would I ever want to sully myself with years of telling myself that my time hasn’t arrived yet?? You said it yourself. You’ve had to accept when it wasn’t your time, but why should I have to adhere to that notion of thinking and proceed without ever lingering on when I deserved to win? That’s exactly why you have found yourself looking to pick up on the scraps of failure after your losing endeavor with Harper. I’m not here to wait. Nor am I all too invested in allowing your precious audience the levity of reward, for sticking with your journey if you are to get in my way. I have grown all too disillusioned by my need for respect before, no longer will I allow my presence to be pushed to the side only to muster up a pitiful smile the next morning.
(Daniella’s grin dissipated, as she assured her glare imposed itself clearly while Holly did not entertain her words under the same light.)
Daniella Atlas: I certainly will be watching you, and I will be taking note of how great you believe yourself to be… I am unconvinced, ‘till you show me more thoroughly why exactly I am so below you…
Holly Arrow: It would be wise for you to watch your tongue and stop doing all that you can bark up the wrong tree… I am not going to allow you to treat me as if I haven’t earned the respect and adoration from my peers and the many out there who believe in me. That’s now what I’m going to sit back & let aside. You believe that you can talk to Usagi in any manner as you wish, but let it be best that you read my lips with as much attention as you’ve taken to provoke me: I’m not the one to go about your business with. So, you better keep yourself moving right the fuck along, or I will surely have no problem running directly through you…
???: Surely, you’re not forgetting all about who’s gonna go through you tonight, right…?
(Daniella smirks as she looks past Holly, with Holly turning her head toward Mia Santoro, who walks over to both women with her own arms crossed, not as enthused by the tensions brewing between them in this less than cordial fashion.)
Mia Santoro: I don’t understand how either of you can speak with this much delusion as if you’re owed anything whatsoever…? And on top of that, I don’t think I deserve to be overlooked by any stretch of the imagination either. I have been able to involve myself in the championship picture multiple times now, and I did that without being the most experienced gal among the large crop of talent that have only continued to step into this company. I’m right here, working my own ass off any given moment that I have to step inside the ring. Don’t you dare to look past me, ‘cause I know that I can be seen as somebody who can be a REAL threat.
Daniella Atlas: You must be joking, as I find your inclusion here all the more comical than I already did. What could possibly make you think that you belong??? I’d argue my rise in this company has been delivered with far greater emphasis than you could’ve ever mustered into fruition. I am seen as the commodity that I know I am, and the danger I possess is something increasingly unpredictable. Most of this sport already knows what to expect from the both of you…
Holly Arrow: Are you even listening to yourself?? You are nowhere near the level that I have managed to climb toward, and you won’t be there as long as I am working all the more diligently than you can match. It’s not plausible for you, and neither was it ever plausible for you as well, Mia. I’ve already spoken to you at length about what you’ve been doing wrong, and I will only continue to prove just as much when we face off to leave you with yet another losing effort.
(Mia shook her head as she stepped right up to Holly, looking up at her with a stern expression on her face as Holly didn’t change her own stance.)
Mia Santoro: You’re gonna continue to doubt me & that’s just fine. Good for you. You have been propped up as this future World Champion that other elitists around here want to see one day, you have the world looking toward you wanting to see if you’ll make it there eventually. Yeah, I’m sure you will… when you aren’t standing across from me, ‘cause I will make myself a better contender time & time again ‘till I’ve got gold for myself. I have to prove myself again & again? So be it. You’ll be my momentum starter that I need…
(Daniella looked toward both women as they glared at each other, and all she could do was lower her head briefly, giving herself a small laugh as she smiled from ear to ear. Holly & Mia glance toward Daniella, who just shuts her eyes and scoffs.)
Daniella Atlas: Mon dieu. Jokes. You are both… merely… a couple of jokes.
(Daniella proceeds to continue walking along the halls, while Holly & Mia glare back toward one another.)
Holly Arrow: Don’t you worry, I’ll be sure to get back to her later… But I am far more intent on kicking your ass first. In that ring, on a perfect night like this…
Mia Santoro: I’m sure you are…
(Holly Arrow & Mia Santoro would soon go their own separate ways, as the scene fades out shortly thereafter.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following is a singles match set for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Judas’ by Lady Gaga began blaring through the arena’s speakers to tremendous cheers as Holly Arrow marched out to the stage with a determined expression plastered across her face. She acknowledged the crowd with a nod as she made her way down the ramp towards the ring.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST! Hailing from Liverpool, England, weighing in at 149 pounds… she is ‘THE SERAPH’, HOLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! ARROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!
Stew-O: Entering the ring now is one of EAW’s most dedicated and determined elitists, bar-none; Holly Arrow has persevered through all types of struggles and strife, but never once has she truly given up.
Flannery McCoy: She’s coming off a tough loss to bear against her former POTARA partner, Harper Lee, who stabbed her in the back to end the team after they lost the EAW Unified Tag Team Championships! Needless to say, that determined look in her eyes isn’t coming from nowhere; she’s heading into the first Friday Night Dynasty of Season 18 with something to prove!
Jake Mercer: If you tuned into the EAW Draft Show, you’ll see that she’s not letting the loss stop her from aiming high, because she’s already declared her intention to take the Universal Women’s Championship from the newly crowned champion, Milli Banks! There were a lot of other competitors staking the same claim, though, including the woman who beat her at Pain for Pride Kingdom!
Stew-O: When you aim that high, you need to back it up; that’s exactly what Holly aims to do against her opponent tonight…
(‘Notorious’ by UPSAHL began playing to a mixed reaction as Mia Santoro strutted her way onto the stage. She basked in the reaction before sauntering down the ramp with her eyes locked on Holly Arrow; she stepped into the ring between the ropes and made her way to her corner.)
Stephie Love: AND HER OPPONENT! Hailing from Key West, Florida, weighing in at 115 pounds… SHE IS ‘LA DESPERADA’… MIIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Stew-O: Like Holly Arrow, Mia Santoro faced a tough loss of her own at Pain for Pride Kingdom as her aspirations to win the EAW Specialists Championship and become a champion for the first time in her career were put on hold with Kasai seizing the win over her and Usagi Senshi. Both these ladies are coming into this match with a chip on their shoulder as they look to redeem their Pain for Pride Kingdom losses and head into Season 18 with a positive trajectory.
Flannery McCoy: You saw that look in Mia’s eyes as she glared at Holly Arrow there? Holly’s held a title in her career, and that’s exactly what Mia has been missing out on so far; there’s nothing that would prove her capability of becoming a champion at this point in her career more than beating a former champion and competitive elitist like the Seraph!
Jake Mercer: Neither woman seems to have any intention of letting the other win, but only one of them will be able to come out on top!
Stew-O: Will Holly be able to back up her aim for the Universal Women’s Championship with a win here, or will Mia be able to reassert her claims to a championship match? The time has come to find out!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: And the match is underway! The two elitists are circling the ring as they begin picking up an aggressive pace–
Flannery McCoy: The volatile standoff quickly comes to a close as Holly Arrow lurches forward and grabs Mia Santoro’s wrist, forcefully performing an Irish Whip to send her running to the ropes!
Jake Mercer: She rebounds off the ropes and runs back towards Holly Arrow with added velocity, and Holly Arrow immediately looks to decapitate her with a running lariat!
Stew-O: But Mia Santoro is able to duck underneath– woah, and rather than keep running, she spins around Holly Arrow and applies a waist lock!
Flannery McCoy: She pushes Holly up against the ropes – which hurts more than it looks, considering how hard the steel inside them is – before looking to bounce her off into a suplex!
Jake Mercer: But Holly Arrow grabs onto the ropes, causing Mia Santoro to fall back onto the canvas!
Stew-O: Holly quickly turns around and swoops her arms down to grab hold of Mia’s ankle, looking to get an ankle lock locked in!
Flannery McCoy: But Mia Santoro’s flailing is making it difficult for Holly to properly maintain her grip and twist the ankle!
Jake Mercer: She’s able to get her hand on the ropes, forcing the referee to step in and break it up–
Stew-O: OH!! As Holly was about to step back, Mia Santoro kicked her leg out from underneath, causing Holly to fall to a kneeling position!
Flannery McCoy: And Mia follows it up quickly with an uppercut to the jaw of Holly Arrow, forcing her to fall back onto the canvas!
Jake Mercer: Mia Santoro quickly scrambles onto her feet and backs up to the nearby corner, where she hops onto the top turnbuckle and takes aim at Holly Arrow–
Stew-O: DIVING METEORA!!! WAIT, NO, HOLLY ARROW MANAGED TO ROLL OUT OF THE WAY!
Flannery McCoy: There was nothing but air and canvas to cushion her fall, and MAN, falling on your knees from that height must hurt!
Jake Mercer: Holly gets back to her feet and sprints at Mia, who is on both knees clutching at her legs in pain– RUNNING SHOOT KICK!
Stew-O: IT CONNECTS, AND IT ALMOST LOOKS LIKE MIA GOT KNOCKED OUT RIGHT THERE!
Flannery McCoy: Holly Arrow is testing it, dragging her away from the ropes and hooking her leg!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Jake Mercer: And a kick out by La Desperada, who is showing she still has more left in the tank!
Stew-O: Holly Arrow smirks at the resilience of Mia Santoro before returning that determined expression to her face as she forcefully grabs Mia and brings her back to a standing position, albeit a bit hunched over!
Flannery McCoy: She gets behind her and grabs her by the legs, lifting her up – is she looking for a back suplex?!
Jake Mercer: NO! SHE GOES FORWARD INSTEAD, PLANTING HER FACE-FIRST WITH A WHEELBARROW FACEBUSTER!
Stew-O: And she follows it up by sliding her way over Mia’s body over to her head and trying to lock in that guillotine choke of her’s!
Flannery McCoy: Mia Santoro is immediately alerted to this as she grabs Holly Arrow’s forearm and begins struggling intensely to prevent it from fully locking against her throat!
Jake Mercer: The struggle brings them both to a kneeling position… and then Mia manages to get one foot planted firmly on the canvas–
Stew-O: That’s all she needed as she uses all her might to push Holly Arrow forward, slamming her up against the corner and forcing her to release the attempted guillotine chokehold!
Flannery McCoy: And now Mia Santoro is taking charge as she has the middle rope grabbed for leverage while she rams her shoulder into the midsection of the Seraph!
Jake Mercer: The referee forces her to let go of the ropes, but that doesn’t deter her for a second as she immediately follows it up with a step-up enziguiri to the side of Holly Arrow’s head!
Stew-O: That really puts Holly into a daze as she leans back against the corner – Mia Santoro pauses for a moment before her eyes widen with a thought!
Flannery McCoy: She turns Holly Arrow around, pushing her chest-first against the corner, and hits the back of her head with a nasty elbow smash for good measure… and then she steps out of the ring and onto the apron!
Jake Mercer: What is La Desperada thinking here? Going high risk, high reward?
Stew-O: It seems that way as she climbs up the ropes to a partial extent, before grabbing Holly Arrow’s head–
Flannery McCoy: She’s going for a TOP ROPE BLOCKBUSTER! IS SHE GOING TO– WAIT, NO, HOLLY LANDS A PUNCH TO MIA SANTORO’S GUT! AND ANOTHER!
Jake Mercer: WOW, Holly Arrow just shoved Mia Santoro off her, causing Mia to fall out to ringside and faceplant on the apron as she does so!
Stew-O: That definitely looked like a rough landing, and now Mia Santoro is laid out at ringside clutching her forehead in agony!
Flannery McCoy: She still has her face in her hands as she starts struggling to stagger up, but Holly Arrow doesn’t seem to have the patience to wait as she slides out of the ring herself and walks around the corner to where Mia Santoro is!
Jake Mercer: A clubbing blow to the back of Mia Santoro by Holly Arrow! And a palm strike for added measure, causing Mia to stagger back even further! Holly backs up for a moment…
Stew-O: And RAMS Mia into the barricade! Without a doubt, Mia is looking worse for wear here as the match goes on; Holly grabs Mia’s arm as she sends her under the bottom rope, rolling back into the ring!
Flannery McCoy: Holly takes a moment to recuperate before she gets onto the apron, about to step into the ring herself–
Jake Mercer: But here’s Mia Santoro, who catches Holly off-guard on the apron with a shoulder barge to the abdomen! Holly doubles over on the apron as she clutches her ribs, and Mia gets a sinister grin on her face!
Stew-O: She reaches through the ropes and grabs Holly by the hair, forcefully tucking her head in a front facelock before pulling her through the top and middle ropes until just her legs are hanging on the middle rope!
Flannery McCoy: AND SHE PLANTS HER WITH A HANGING DDT! HOLLY IS OUT, AND MIA GRABS THE LEG AND HOOKS IT!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Jake Mercer: Holly Arrow is able to kick out regardless, and Mia Santoro is looking frustrated as her spectacular move came up short against the more experienced Holly!
Stew-O: Mia grabs hold of Holly again as she pulls her back to her feet, giving her a forearm smash to the head for good measure, before turning her around!
Flannery McCoy: She’s lifting Holly Arrow up in that back suplex position- OH, but she’s going for a wheelbarrow facebuster of her own!
Jake Mercer: NO, HOLLY ROLLS THROUGH WITH A VICTORY ROLL PIN!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Stew-O: And this time, it’s Mia Santoro that kicks out! Holly staggers up first with her head clutched, and Mia follows suit moments after – but just a moment is all it takes, as Holly catches her with a boot to the gut!
Flannery McCoy: She grabs hold of Mia’s head and tucks her into a front facelock before throwing her arm over and hoisting her up! A vertical suplex position, but Mia is flailing her legs, not letting herself be thrown over! Holly struggles as she tries to complete the maneuver…
Jake Mercer: OH! MIA IS ABLE TO REVERSE IT WITH A SUPLEX OF HER OWN, AND A SNAP SUPLEX AT THAT! Holly crashes down with painful velocity, and Mia proceeds to stomp Holly out to do as much damage with the rare moment of vulnerability as possible!
Stew-O: She’s able to kick the side of Holly Arrow enough to force Holly onto her abdomen in a prone position, and she immediately capitalizes as she leaps into the air and lands on Holly’s back with a double foot stomp!
Flannery McCoy: Holly is taking some tough offense here, and Mia Santoro is feeling the momentum! She grabs hold of Holly’s arm and kneels down, taking her head as well… OH!
Jake Mercer: HELLBENT! HELLBENT! MIA SANTORO HAS THE TRIANGLE CHOKE LOCKED IN, AND HOLLY ARROW’S FACE IS TURNING RED AS SHE FRANTICALLY STRUGGLES TO ESCAPE THE CHOKEHOLD!
Stew-O: I DON’T THINK HOLLY WAS EXPECTING THIS LEVEL OF COMPETITION FROM MIA SANTORO, BUT RIGHT NOW, MIA MAY HAVE IT IN THE BAG AS HOLLY IS NOWHERE NEAR THE ROPES!
Flannery McCoy: That isn’t stopping her from trying as she scrambles around with her legs, trying to get even the tip of her boot to make contact with the bottom rope, but she’s just not close enough to do so, and Mia Santoro isn’t budging from the center of the ring!
Jake Mercer: Holly’s movements are getting slower… is she getting close to passing out?!
Stew-O: The referee is checking on her– OH, NO, A SURGE OF ADRENALINE BY THE SERAPH AS SHE STOMPS HER FEET ON THE CANVAS AND PLANTS IT!
Flannery McCoy: AND THE OTHER BOOT GETS PLANTED AS WELL… MIA SANTORO IS GETTING LIFTED OFF THE CANVAS!
Jake Mercer: SHE’S GETTING LIFTED HIGHER… AND HIGHER… AND THEN SHE’S PLANTED WITH A MAKESHIFT POWERBOMB! HELLBENT IS RELEASED, AND HOLLY ARROW STAGGERS BACK AS THE BLOOD STARTS FLOWING AGAIN!
Stew-O: Mia arches her back in pain as she tries to cope with the pain; meanwhile, Holly has her throat clutched, still feeling the effects of the maneuver as she stumbles over to the corner! She climbs up the top rope, although slower than usual as she’s still suffering from Hellbent…
Crowd: HOLLY! HOLLY! HOLLY! HOLLY! HOLLY! HOLLY!
Flannery McCoy: Certainly the crowd favorite here tonight, Holly Arrow feels the energy of the fans as she staggers her way up to the top turnbuckle, and Mia is still laid out in the middle of the ring! What is Holly thinking here?!
Jake Mercer: CHAMPAGNE SUPER KNEE DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP! THE KING KONG KNEE DROP CONNECTS AS ALL 149 POUNDS OF HOLLY ARROW’S BODYWEIGHT FLIES THROUGH THE SKY AND CRASHES DOWN ON THE MIDSECTION OF MIA SANTORO, CAUSING ALL HER LIMBS TO JERK UP!
Stew-O: The crowd cheers loudly at the tremendous and brutal move, but Holly looks unsatisfied as she clutches Mia Santoro by the hair and drags her up to a standing position with malicious intentions in her eyes! She grabs a hold of Mia’s wrist and tucks her own head between her arm and midsection!
Flannery McCoy: SHE GETS LIFTED UP! OH, ODIN’S LOST EYE! HOLLY ARROW IS GOING ALL OUT AS SHE HITS HER SIGNATURE WRIST CLUTCH OLYMPIC SLAM, AND MIA SANTORO CRASHES VIOLENTLY INTO THE CANVAS!
Jake Mercer: This almost seems like overkill, but now Holly Arrow is hooking the leg of Mia Santoro!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Stew-O: I can’t believe it! Holly Arrow’s eyes just shot wide open with the same feeling as she felt Mia kick out at the nick of time; against all the odds, Mia just kicked out of two of Holly Arrow’s toughest moves!
Flannery McCoy: The endurance being displayed by Mia Santoro is just amazing – she set out to prove herself to be championship material, and she’s doing all she can to hang on to the hopes of a victory against Holly!
Jake Mercer: I don’t think Holly is looking to grant her that… Mia Santoro gets forced to her feet yet again, though she’s looking practically out on her feet, and–
Stew-O: GALAXY IMPACT! GALAXY IMPACT! THE CODEBREAKER CONNECTS, AND MIA SANTORO COLLAPSES TO THE CANVAS IN A HEAP! THIS HAS TO BE IT, AND HOLLY ARROW HOOKS BOTH OF MIA’S LEGS TO LEVERAGE THE PIN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(‘Judas’ by Lady Gaga began playing yet again as the EAW Universe began cheering loudly for Holly Arrow’s victory!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… THE SERAPH, HOLLYYYYYYYYYY ARROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!
Stew-O: I have to say, I think both these women accomplished what they set out to do. Though she didn’t get the win, Mia Santoro kept up with the veteran in Holly Arrow throughout the match, showing impressive resiliency and offense!
Flannery McCoy: And at the end of the day, Holly Arrow was able to soundly put Mia Santoro down for the three count, putting an exclamation mark on her intentions to become the Universal Women’s Champion by beating one of the EAW Specialists Championship competitors from Pain for Pride Kingdom!
Jake Mercer: With such a large field of competitors for Milli Banks’ title, there’s no telling who – if any of them – will be able to conquer the current champion. But after this showing, Holly Arrow is continuing her aspirations with a victory in the first Friday Night Dynasty of Season 18!
(Holly Arrow continued to celebrate her victory with her arm raised by the referee while Mia Santoro was laid out in the middle of the ring, still out cold from the effects of the Galaxy Impact. The video feed slowly faded to black as Holly Arrow gestured around her waist, the universal signal that she’s aiming for championship gold.)
(A commercial plays for Dopamine, the debut studio album by Normani. Look at that, we’re doing better promotion for her than her own label!)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns from a short break to a shot of The Spectrum Center as the crowd is bustling in anticipation for what’s to come. They start getting loud as the sounds of ‘The Leaving Song Pt. II’ by AFI is heard playing through the speakers. The camera then goes over to the stage as the NEW Interwire Champion Hans Grayson is seen making his way out from the backstage area. He has a prideful look on his face as he adjusts the title he has over his shoulder while scanning around, then beginning to make his way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… the NEW EAW INTERWIRE CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!! ‘THE FIRE HEART’… HANS GRAYSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Well we saw two weeks ago at Pain For Pride the amazing feat that Hans Grayson had to end Season 17. He beat Drake Armstrong to walk out as the new Interwire Champion and he returns to Friday Night Dynasty on top of the world. We know that Hans is a symbol of hard work, and even after he lost the New Breed Championship he was right back on the path to glory and here he is.
Flannery McCoy: But what matters now is his future as Champion, and I’m sure that there are plenty of challengers that are lined up to try and take their shot at him. But we know how experienced and well-versed he is inside of the ring, and he’s making his way out to the ring tonight to make that known very clearly.
Jake Mercer: Hey man, I’m just saying, THIS is an Interwire Champion I can respect. That Drake Armstrong guy? He didn’t have that. But we Graysonites know the type of Champion that Hans Grayson can be.
(Hans makes his way up the steel steps and onto the apron before entering the ring. He takes his title and raises it in the air as on the stage a large display of pyro is seen erupting out as he looks at the environment around him with a smile on his face. ‘The Leaving Song Pt. II’ then begins to come to a close as Hans makes his way over and takes a microphone from the ringside area, taking a moment before beginning to speak.)
Hans Grayson: CHARLOTTE!
(The crowd here in Charlotte, North Carolina gets loud as Hans chuckles before he continues on from there.)
Hans Grayson: Man it feels good to be here tonight, there is no place I’d rather be than in this ring on Friday Night Dynasty, standing before you tonight as the NEW Interwire Champion. This has been a long time coming for me and I knew that after I lost the New Breed Championship it wouldn’t be the end. That initial feeling of emptiness I had wouldn’t last long as long as I put my head down and I continued to do what I do best and that’s work hard and get results. Last year at Pain For Pride I walked out as a Champion, and I’m happy to say that for the second year in a row, I did that again. I could not feel better, mostly knowing that as I hold this title, a wave of validation rushes over me. That all my hard work meant something, and that the future is bright for me going forward. What I’ve proven is that year by year I continue to level up and improve my game, and I do not plan on stopping or settling. Not at all, in fact, I am only going to get bigger and better from here and the next step in that journey is to solidify myself as the greatest Interwire Champion of all time.
Hans Grayson: That comes by not only elevating myself, but this title as well, you know that. The one thing on my mind is not just what I can do for Hans Grayson, but what I can do for the Interwire Championship and that is face the very best. That is why I’m not going to waste any time getting to that elusive first title defense and making sure that is under my belt. I have ambitions going forward and that’s to make sure that I am at the very top not just because of who I am but because of what I’ve done, because of what I’m going to continue to do. I’m not afraid to say that I have a high ceiling in this company, and even after I lose this title however long that’s going to be, I know that it’s not going to be the end just like it wasn’t the end the last time. No, you are going to see more of me and I am going to make sure-
(Before Hans can continue, he’s stopped by the sounds of ‘Loose Change (Instrumental’ by The Alchemist which begins to play up. The crowd goes sour as they react negatively to Shinzo Sasaki, who is seen beginning to make his way out to the stage with a serious expression on his face. He has a suit and a pair of sunglasses on as he scans around before then beginning to make his way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stew-O: Well it seems like we’re not going to waste any time seeing who’s going to step up to the plate as it’s come in the form of Shinzo Sasaki. We saw two weeks ago his participation in the Cash in The Vault match as a member of the Dynasty roster, as he ended up coming short against the winner Donovan Duke. Now he returns to the Dynasty brand with a vengeance and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to wait.
Flannery McCoy: Just like Hans he’s an Elitist who has had glimmers of potential so far since his arrival in this company and has been a standout who is looking to have his moment down the line, and it seems like he’s trying to make it his moment at the expense of Hans Grayson if it means capturing the Interwire Championship.
Jake Mercer: Hey man, I liked KAI-ZEN, I liked Shinzo, but do we really think that he’s making a wise decision coming out here tonight? I mean, we saw what happened the last time he tried to fight for the Interwire Championship, he lost to The Konig Ronan Malosi! He should learn his lesson from that…
(Shinzo is seen making his way up the steps and onto the apron before he enters the ring. He then makes his way over to Hans who he looks at with a smirk on his face. ‘Loose Change (Instrumental)’ then begins to fade out as he heads over to take a microphone from the ringside area, approaching him before then beginning to speak.)
Shinzo Sasaki: Hans Grayson, I think we both agree that you and I have a lot to talk about. I look at you, and I look at all the success that you’ve had, and I can’t help but compare your trajectory to mine. I’ve done pretty well for myself from what people had expected initially. I was one of the men to spearhead a group that took Friday Night Dynasty by storm at one point just last year, and being the only one left still going strong, I think we can both agree no matter how you feel about me that I never needed a group… I just needed an opportunity. I needed a platform and now that I’ve got that, now that I’m here, I’m not going to let up. Sure we can sit here and we can call a spade a spade, the chips haven’t fallen in my favor this past couple of Marquee Events and I’ve found myself getting the short end of the stick on more than one occasion. But that’s only natural, I expected that, and it’s okay. Why is that? Because I know just like everyone else knows that I’m one of the most talented individuals in this whole company, I am the best kept secret, and the biggest fear to a lot of people… including you, Hans.
Shinzo Sasaki: See, while the Hans Graysons and the Drake Armstrongs and the Josos and the Michael Machinas of the world get all of the praise and the adulation for getting top billing as the future of Elite Answers Wrestling like the overrated, overhyped plants that they are. The only person who has actually had a reason to live up to all of that is not any of them that’s named, no, it’s me. I’m the one who has shown that I have every bit as much of a reason to get that hype machine. But that’s fine, I don’t need to be praised by anybody because my work will speak for itself. I hope you understand that’s why I’m out here tonight. It’s all about sending a message, and if it comes at your expense, then that’s something that I’m willing to do in a heartbeat if it guarantees my success.
(Hans thinks about it for a moment before nodding his head as he looks at Shizno, then looking to respond.)
Hans Grayson: While I appreciate the enthusiasm as you come out here and try and pitch to the entire world why you deserve this spotlight, I feel the need to remind you of something. Your work is something admirable, and I’m not going to deny that you have been putting in the work, but your work has also had the chance to speak for itself against Milli Banks and against the field in the Cash in The Vault match at Pain For Pride. What happened? Just like you said, Shinzo, you ended up coming up short when it mattered. Now you’re here lobbying for yet another shot that you’re going to come up short in. KAI-ZEN failed with you at the helm, and everything else that you’ve tried to do since then has failed, and trying to go after my Interwire Championship will be no different.
(The crowd shows their support, but obviously Shinzo is not very receptive to this as he brings his microphone up to his mouth.)
Shinzo Sasaki: This time WILL be different… but I’d much rather show you than tell you.
Stew-O: OH! SHINZO TAKES HIS MICROPHONE AND SLAMS IT AGAINST THE HEAD OF HANS! HANS IS TAKEN BY SURPRISE AS HE STAGGERS BACK… JUST FOR SHINZO TO LEAP UP ONTO HIS SHOULDERS AND DROP HIM WITH ‘DEEP CUT’! THE FRANKENSTEINER TAKES THE INTERWIRE CHAMPION DOWN TO THE GROUND!
(Shinzo looks down at Hans with a displeased expression as the crowd boos loudly. Then, tossing his glasses to the side, he looks down at the Interwire Championship and scoops it up into his hands while a stunned Hans slowly rises back up.)
Flannery McCoy: SHINZO IS SIZING HANS UP, WAITING FOR HIM TO GET BACK UP TO HIS FEET… BEFORE THEN SMASHING THE INTERWIRE CHAMPIONSHIP AGAINST HIS HEAD AND DROPPING HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND! HANS IS COMPLETELY OUT OF IT BUT SHINZO ISN’T DONE, AS HE GRABS HIM BY THE HEAD AND PICKS HIM BACK UP…
Jake Mercer: CONNECTING WITH ‘ENTER THE DRAGON’! VERTICAL DROP BRAINBUSTER ONTO THE TITLE COMPLETELY WIPES HANS OUT! BUT SHINZO ISN’T DONE AS HE ROLLS THROUGH…
Stew-O: BEFORE LOCKING IN ‘THE POISON PILL’! THE GOGOPLATA IS LOCKED IN AND HANS IS ALREADY COMPLETELY OUT OF IT RIGHT NOW! REFEREES ARE SLIDING INTO THE RING AND THEY’RE TRYING TO STOP THIS BRUTAL ASSAULT, SHINZO HAS ALREADY SENT HIS MESSAGE!
(After a while, once he feels satisfied, Shinzo releases the hold and pushes Hans away. Hans is struggling to breathe as officials check on him while holding Shinzo back, and the only thing that he can do is smirk as he leaves the ring while ‘Loose Change (Instrumental)’ begins to play up. The last shot seen is Shinzo backpedaling up the ramp, dusting his hands off, as Friday Night Dynasty, from there, begins to transition to elsewhere.)
(A commercial is shown for Mountain Dew.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns to a shot of The Spectrum Center as Stephie Love is seen standing at the center of the ring with a microphone in hand as she begins to speak.)
Stephie Love: The following singles match is scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘Sinister Purpose’ by Creedence Clearwater Revival begins to blast through the speakers of the arena as a determined Kirk Redwood is seen making his way out from the backstage area and toward the stage. He has a serious expression written all over as he pops his neck before then beginning to make his way down the ramp and to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first… from Boston, Massachusetts… weighing in at 210 pounds… ‘UNKILLABLE’… KIRK REDWOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Well we talk about newcomers to the Friday Night Dynasty brand this Season and lo and behold Kirk Redwood is one of them. He is by no means unfamiliar, he has held the Unified Tag Team Championship on this brand, but now he returns and I feel like he’s at his very best. Two weeks ago we saw him get a big win at Pain For Pride against the likes of Terry Chambers and Scott Diamond, and now an opportunity like this?
Flannery McCoy: A chance to face the World Heavyweight Champion and get a big victory against him. It’s a daunting task but at the same time… I’m not going to say that it’s not impossible either, we’re going to have to see.
Jake Mercer: he’s someone that I’m going to have my eyes on! I’m just saying I have a keen eye for potential and this very well be the case. Let’s see…
(‘Enemy Strike’ by Yuki Hayashi is heard playing up as the camera goes over to reveal the World Heavyweight Champion Myles as he’s seen making his way out to the stage. After what happened earlier in the night, it’s clear that he’s very unhappy about what transpired. He shakes his head as he focuses completely on the ring, beginning to head down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent… from Melbourne, Australia… weighing in at 225 pounds… he is the EAW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!! THE UNPARALLELED, UNDISPUTED, UNRIVALED… MYLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Well we saw earlier in the night Myles made his way out to the ring and made his intentions known just like he did last week at the Draft show, he was interrupted by a handful of people, a handful of people who are going to be competing in the main event later in the night conveniently, and it transpired into a brawl. While all that was going on…
Flannery McCoy: Drake Armstrong slithered in and took him out, standing tall and stamping his spot as the next challenger for the World Heavyweight Champion. I’m sure we’re going to follow that up at some point, but right now Myles has his mind set on winning this match in the first Dynasty of Season 18.
Jake Mercer: Myles versus Drake Armstrong? What happened to the game I love…
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: Well here as what has the potential to be a great match is officially underway! For the first time since Pain For Pride the World Heavyweight Champion Myles is in action against one of the newer members of the Friday Night Dynasty brand in Kirk Redwood! Kirk, of course, riding high after a win at Pain For Pride himself, looking to carry the momentum over by possibly getting the biggest win of his career tonight.
Flannery McCoy: Both of them waste no time engaging in a collar-and-elbow tie up, bringing their weight down and trying to get the upperhand early. Myles is trying to push him back, but Kirk is surprisingly holding his own, using his own raw strength to push Myles against one of the corners! Myles is slowly backpedaling and pushed against the turnbuckles momentarily, but manages to slip around and lock in a waist lock as he pulls him toward the center of the ring. Kirk drops his weight and tries to shift his body around, but Myles keeps him in place… lifting him up before slamming him onto the canvas chest first!
Jake Mercer: Kirk is down but tries to get back up to his feet, but Myles is quick to compose himself and manages to catch him in a chinlock! The World Heavyweight Champion is not looking to give Kirk any breathing room but that doesn’t seem to be in the plans for him, as he slowly begins to rise back up to his feet! Myles is trying to keep him down, but it doesn’t seem like that’s going to be for very long as Kirk manages to push him against the ropes before sending him to the other side of the ring… DROPPING HIM HARD WITH A SHOULDER BLOCK!
Stew-O: Myles is down but is quick to rise back up to his feet, looking quite amused by the early performance so far. Kirk rushes forward… but Myles is quick to spin around and catch him into a side headlock! He dips down to a knee trying to catch Kirk in place, but once again he’s making sure that’s not going to happen as he pushes himself up… BEFORE WRAPPING HIS ARMS AROUND HIS WAIST AND HEAVING MYLES UP INTO A HUGE BACK SUPLEX TO COUNTER!
Flannery McCoy: BUT THAT DOESN’T HAPPEN! Myles manages to flip around before landing behind him and onto his feet! KIRK SPINS AROUND AND TRIES TO THROW A PUNCH AT HIM- BUT MYLES DUCKS UNDER BEFORE GRABBING HIM AROUND HIS WAIST AND LIFTING HIM UP AND DOWN WITH A BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX! Kirk lands hard onto the mat but is quick to roll away toward one of the corners before he can be faced with any immediate danger!
Jake Mercer: But Myles is making sure that he doesn’t get any sort of breathing room as he makes his way over to him… BEFORE CHOPPING HIM HARD AGAINST HIS CHEST LOOKING TO CONTINUE THE OFFENSE! Kirk gets stunned from that as Myles, from there, grabs him and sends him toward the center of the ring. Kirk turns around and tries to retaliate… BUT MYLES IS QUICK TO BRING HIS BOOT UP AND PUSH KIRK BACK FROM HIS CHEST DOWN TO THE GROUND! Kirk rolls backward and gets up to a kneeling position, as Myles rushes over and seizes him by the head into a front facelock… LIFTING HIM UP INTO A SUPLEX-
Stew-O: NO! Kirk drops his weight down and manages to stay in place, he’s not going to go down without a fight as he begins to drive repeated fists into the side of Myles! Myles is trying to keep a hold of him and follow through with the attacks, but Kirk is relentless as he manages to slip away and break free of that while Myles takes a moment to recuperate… JUST FOR KIRK TO BRING HIS LEG UP AND NAIL MYLES WITH A HARD ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD! Myles is hit by this as he staggers back and falls against the ropes, JUST FOR KIRK TO FOLLOW THAT UP AND DRIVE HARD WITH A KNEE STRAIGHT TO THE ABDOMEN THAT TAKES THE AIR OUT OF THE CHEST OF THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!
Flannery McCoy: Myles crumbles down and is smart to roll himself under the bottom rope and out of the ring. He falls against the barricade to keep himself upward and while that does give him some reprieve it seems like Kirk has his eye on the target, as he runs toward the ropes and back looking to go for something…
Jake Mercer: AS HE LAUNCHES THROUGH THE ROPES AND TRIES TO CONNECT WITH ‘STAR SNIPER’! THE SUICIDE DIVE EUROPEAN UPPERCUT TO THE CHAMPION!
Stew-O: BUT MYLES MANAGES TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY BEFORE IT CONNECTS! MYLES MOVES AND KIRK REDWOOD CRASHES AND BURNS AT THE RINGSIDE AREA! That is absolutely not what he wanted to happen and Myles is taking advantage, as he snatches him up before then rolling him under the bottom rope and into the ring. Kirk is pushed back in as he slowly tries to rise back up to a kneeling position to fight back… JUST FOR MYLES TO SLIDE BACK IN HIMSELF AND CONNECT WITH A HARD KNEE STRIKE STRAIGHT TO THE FACE THAT LEAVES KIRK STUNNED IN PLACE! Myles then has his eyes set as he rushes behind him toward the ropes…
Flannery McCoy: BEFORE LEAPING INTO THE AIR AND TRYING TO CONNECT WITH THE ‘DRACO METEOR’! DOUBLE KNEES TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD OF KIRK REDWOOD!
Jake Mercer: DOESN’T CONNECT! KIRK MANAGES TO GET BACK UP TO HIS FEET AS HE SPINS AROUND AND NAILS MYLES WITH A STIFF FOREARM SMASH TO THE HEAD! Myles nearly collapses down to the ground, but Kirk grabs him by the wrist before pulling him back in… AND FOLLOWING THAT UP WITH A SECOND FOREARM SMASH! Myles is hurt as Kirk is not letting up, looking to follow through with yet another move from here!
Stew-O: AS HE PULLS MYLES IN ONE MORE TIME AND LIFTS HIM INTO THE ‘BASTARDPLEX’! THE WRIST CLUTCH BACK SUPLEX SENDS MYLES BOUNCING OFF THE CANVAS AND KIRK DOES NOT WASTE ANY TIME ROLLING HIM ONTO HIS BACK AND HOOKING THE LEG! GOING FOR THE PIN!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHH-
Flannery McCoy: NO! NARROWLY AVOIDED! MYLES SHOOTS THE SHOULDER UP JUST IN TIME AND KICKS OUT OF THE PIN ATTEMPT! Kirk nearly got him there with the big move but the World Heavyweight Champion is the Champion for a reason and he’s not going to go down so easily. But the look on Kirk’s face is one of pure ambition as I think we kinda already figured that he wasn’t going to let up from here!
Jake Mercer: And he shouldn’t! You’re right I could only imagine how big a win like this could be if he manages to come out on top against the World Heavyweight Champion of all people. That might set him up for success this Season on a new brand than the one that he’s used to! But maybe that’s just wishful thinking on my end because we know the type of competitor that Myles is as you said, and he’s going to do everything in his power in order to make sure that does not happen.
Stew-O: Kirk is back up to his feet as Myles is trying his best to get back up himself, but immediately he’s met with another hard forearm to the face by the former Unified Tag Team Champion which stops him in his tracks! Myles manages to shake off the cobwebs and push himself up to his feet though, as he steps forward and responds with one of his own! Kirk is taken aback by this but it seems like he likes this exchange, as he twists around and nails Myles with a side kick to his chest! Myles is hurt by this but it seems like he’s enjoying this as well, as he follows this up with a kick of his own which sends Kirk staggering away momentarily for a moment!
Flannery McCoy: Kirk tries to approach, but Myles connects with a second kick to the chest to stop him before he can! He sizes him up one more time as Kirk is trying his best to fight back, but Myles steps up and follows up with one more- NO! Kirk manages to block the leg and push it away, managing to see it coming! Myles manages to stop himself just in time as Kirk has his eyes set… GOING UNDER AND GRABBING HIS ANKLE BEFORE SPINNING AROUND AND TRYING TO TAKE MYLES DOWN TO THE MAT!
Jake Mercer: BUT MYLES MANAGES TO BREAK FREE! He spins around himself before grabbing a hold of Kirk from the waist from behind stopping him before he can rise up to his feet… HEAVING HIM UP AND LOOKING TO SLAM HIM DOWN WITH A DEADLIFT GERMAN SUPLEX- NO! Myles tried for it but Kirk wasn’t having any of that as he drops his weight down to the ground and stops himself before that can happen! Myles tries to lift him up again! But Kirk this time manages to nail him with a hard back elbow to the face! Kirk then turns around and steps toward him…
Stew-O: BUT MYLES JUST IN TIME MANAGES TO GO UNDER AND POP HIM UP OFF THE GROUND INTO THE ‘VICTORIA’ POP UP KNEE STRIKE-
Flannery McCoy: SCOUTED! AS KIRK COMES DOWN HE MANAGES TO WRAP HIS ARMS AROUND HIS LEG! Myles tries to fight back, BUT KIRK SHOVES HIS LEG DOWN BEFORE NAILING HIM WITH A HARD KICK STRAIGHT TO HIS FACE TO LEAVE HIM ABSOLUTELY ROCKED! Kirk is doubled over momentarily doing what he can in order to get back on track, AS HE GOES UNDER AND LIFTS MYLES OFF THE GROUND TRYING TO CONNECT WITH A HUGE ALABAMA SLAM IN ORDER TO GET HIMSELF BACK ON TRACK IN THIS MATCH AND SHIFT THE OFFENSE IN HIS FAVOR!
Jake Mercer: BUT THAT DOESN’T HAPPEN WITH MYLES MANAGING TO DROP HIS WEIGHT DOWN AND STOP HIMSELF! He was close, but the World Heavyweight Champion was not going to go down so easily as he kept a hold of him… wrapping a hold of him around his body and lifting him up off the ground!
Stew-O: BEFORE HE SPINS HIM AROUND AND CONNECTS WITH ‘WRATHFUL DAYSTAR’! THW TWISTING CANADIAN RACK DDT DROPS KIRK DOWN TO THE GROUND AND MYLES IS QUICK TO ROLL HIM OVER AND HOOK THE LEG! NOW TRYING TO END THIS MATCH OFF HIMSELF! WILL THIS BE THE END OF THE MATCH RIGHT HERE?!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRREEE-
Flannery McCoy: NO! NOT JUST YET! BEFORE THE THREE COUNT CAN HIT IT’S KIRK THAT MANAGES TO RAISE HIS ARM UP AND KICK OUT! Myles is in disbelief at what he’s seeing! I think a part of him thought that this match was going to be over by now but it seems like Kirk Redwood has a lot more left in the tank and rightfully so! This is the first Dynasty of Season 18 after all I think every Elitist on the roster wants to go out leaving a good impression for the future.
Jake Mercer: Kirk Redwood is definitely one of them as he holds his own against Myles. But the look on the face of the World Heavyweight Champion shows that he is adamant about finishing this and he wants to do it sooner rather than later. He slowly rises back up to his feet while Kirk is just now beginning to regain consciousness after the kickout that he barely managed to get after the big move by Myles. The Champion is lying in wait as he knows that this is the opportunity that he needs in order to make sure that this ends up with a victory in his corner! Kirk is slowly rising back up himself as he turns around, not knowing what lies ahead of him while he does…
Stew-O: AND MYLES GRABS HIM AND SETS HIM UP FOR THE ‘DE FACTO’!
Flannery McCoy: BUT KIRK MANAGES TO PUSH OFF HIS SHOULDERS AND LAND ON HIS FEET! Myles turns around and tries to strike, BUT KIRK MANAGES TO NAIL HIM WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT TO THE JAW THAT SENDS HIM BACKWARD! Myles falls against the ropes and tries to gain some ground, AS HE PUSHES OFF AND LEAPS INTO THE AIR FOR A FLYING BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE TO HIS JAW-
Jake Mercer: BUT KIRK MANAGES TO PUSH OUT OF THE WAY OF THAT AND GAIN SOME REPRIEVE FOR THE MOMENT! Myles staggers forward and tries his best to keep himself on his feet, BUT KIRK MANAGES TO SLITHER IN AND GRAB HIM AROUND THE WAIST BEFORE LIFTING HIM UP AND DROPPING HIM DOWN ONTO HIS HEAD WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! KIRK BRIDGES THE GERMAN AND GOES FOR THE PIN!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
Stew-O: MYLES MANAGES TO SHOOT THE SHOULDER UP! Kirk isn’t done though as he slowly drags him back up to his feet… GOING FOR A SECOND GERMAN SUPLEX TO LIFT HIM OFF OF THE GROUND- BUT MYLES ISN’T GOING FOR THAT AS HE MANAGES TO BREAK FREE BEFORE SPINNING AROUND AND GOING FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX THIS TIME- BUT KIRK MANAGES TO FLIP OVER THAT JUST IN TIME BEFORE GOING UNDER AND ROLLING HIM UP INTO A SCHOOLBOY PIN!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTTHHHHHRRRRRRRR-
Flannery McCoy: BUT MYLES MANAGES TO KICK OUT OF THAT JUST IN TIME! He rolls up into a kneeling position trying to get back up to his feet, but Kirk manages to get back up to his feet and run to the ropes and back, trying to take this opportunity…
Jake Mercer: AS HE LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND GOES FOR ‘BLITZKRIEG BOP’! KNEE TO THE BACK OF MYLES’ HEAD!
Stew-O: BUT MYLES MANAGES TO ROLL OUT OF THE WAY OF THAT JUST IN TIME BEFORE RISING BACK UP TO HIS FEET AND SWEEPING THE LEG OF KIRK! KIRK SITS UP TO HIS FEET AND TRIES TO RECOVER BUT MYLES HAS ALREADY RUN TO THE ROPES AND BACK… BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A HARD PENALTY KICK STRAIGHT TO THE CHEST TO DROP MYLES DOWN TO THE GROUND!
Flannery McCoy: The World Heavyweight Champion is down and this is the opportunity that Kirk needs in order to get back on track. He grabs a hold of him by the head and brings him up to his feet, and it seems like he’s looking to quickly close this out before anything else can happen and there’s really nothing that Myles can do if he can’t find a solution to get out of this! KIRK RUNS TO THE ROPES AND BACK, LOOKING TO SET HIM UP…
Jake Mercer: AS HE SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE ROPES AND SPINS AROUND INTO A SUPERMAN PUNCH TOWARD MYLES! ‘.50 CAL’ CONNECTS-
Stew-O: BUT MYLES CATCHES HIM IN MID AIR WITH THE BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE RIGHT TO THE FACE! KIRK IS CAUGHT AS HE’S DROPPED DOWN TO A KNEELING POSITION AND MYLES WASTES NO TIME AS HE RUNS TO THE ROPES AND BACK… BEFORE FOLLOWING THAT UP WITH A SECOND BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE TO HIS FACE WHICH COMPLETELY WIPES HIM OUT!
Flannery McCoy: Myles then grabs a hold of him and brings him up to his feet, sending him to the ropes and back… BEFORE LEAPING INTO THE AIR AND GOING FOR A THIRD BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE STRAIGHT TO THE FACE- NO! JUST IN TIME, IT’S KIRK THAT MANAGES TO ROLL HIMSELF AWAY FROM THAT AS HE RISES BACK UP TO HIS FEET BEFORE HE FLIES THROUGH THE AIR AND NAILS HIM WITH A JUMPING CLOTHESLINE THAT COMPLETELY KNOCKS HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND! KIRK THEN GRABS MYLES BY THE HEAD AND BRINGS HIM UP TO HIS FEET…
Jake Mercer: AS HE HOOKS THE ARMS AND LIFTS HIM UP WITH A BUTTERFLY BRAINBUSTER! ‘BRAINDEAD BUSTER’ COMPLETELY TAKES OUT MYLES AS KIRK ROLLS HIM OVER AND HOOKS THE LEG! HE’S GOING FOR THE PIN RIGHT HERE! IS THIS FINALLY GOING TO BE IT?! ARE WE GOING TO SEE KIRK REDWOOD MANAGE TO PULL OFF THE SHOCK OF THE CENTURY HERE TONIGHT?!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRRRRREEE-
Stew-O: NO! NO! MYLES JUST BARELY MANAGES TO KICK OUT! THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION COMES ALIVE AND SHOOTS THE SHOULDER UP AND THE NORTH CAROLINA CROWD IS ON THEIR FEET! Kirk Redwood is sitting up and you can see the frustration beginning to build on his face after that. If there’s one thing that he wants to do is make sure that he can finish the job and even though Myles is still not through just yet, we know that all it takes is one more move and this very well might be the one that does it!
Flannery McCoy: Kirk falls against the corner as he waits for Myles to slowly rise back up to his feet, Kirk knows how close he is to winning but he also knows that he’s inches away from closing this out. You can see Myles with a pained look on his face, doing whatever he can to fight back but it doesn’t seem like it’s going very well for him so far. Kirk is looking to set him up here as he looks to hit the dagger!
Jake Mercer: ROLLING FORWARD AND GOING FOR THE SOMERSAULT SPEAR! TRYING TO CONNECT WITH THE ‘PAROLE VIOLATION’!
Stew-O: BUT MYLES MANAGES TO CATCH HIM AND POP HIM UP INTO THE AIR WITH ‘VICTORIA’! ‘VICTORIA’ CONNECTS AS KIRK BOUNCES OFF AND THIS IS THE OPPORTUNITY THAT MYLES NEEDS IN ORDER TO TAKE ADVANTAGE! HE GRABS A HOLD OF HIM! LOOKING TO FINISH THIS OFF!
Flannery McCoy: LIFTING HIM OFF OF THE GROUND AND DROPPING HIM DOWN WITH THE ‘DE FACTO’! THE PUMPHANDLE SAMOAN DROP CONNECTS ONTO KIRK REDWOOD AS MYLES ROLLS HIM OVER AND HOOKS THE LEG AND GOES FOR THE PIN! WILL THIS BE IT?!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Enemy Strike’ begins to blast through the speakers of the arena as Myles slowly rolls off of the body of Kirk Redwood. He has an exhausted expression on his face as he slowly rises up to a seated position while the referee makes their way over and hands him the World Heavyweight Championship. Myles brings it into his hands before raising it into the air as the crowd gets loud for the Champion who comes out on top here tonight.)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner… the EAW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!! MYLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: In the first Friday Night Dynasty episode of the Season it’s Myles that manages to come out on top! I’ll admit, I did have my doubts about this man for reasons that I will not elaborate on, but he lived up to expectations tonight! Kirk had a great performance as well against the very best that this brand has to offer and if anything I think that’s very telling of his future going forward.
Stew-O: Big things lined up for sure but right now Myles has made a statement to everyone who has decided to their their name in the hat and fight for his World Heavyweight Champion. They may be great, but Myles is greater, and he’s one step closer to cementing his legacy with this win. Congratulations to Myles!
(Myles rolls out of the ring with his title slung over his shoulder while making his way up the ramp, it’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty, from there, begins to transition over to elsewhere.)
(Backstage, Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant are seen together. Kensingten is seated on Richard’s lap, and the two are chuckling, having a grand ol’ time. The fans in attendance aren’t pleased at all with this display as they boo while the segment carries on.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Oh, Richie, this is just great. It feels like all of the bad seeds are gone. I knew we could get back to this place where you and I would be able to oversee Dynasty, but wow, it’s just amazing! This couldn’t get any better for us.
Richard Grant: Absolutely, Kensi, I get what you mean. All is right in the world yet again. No more charity or handouts. No more morons mucking things up for the product. Dynasty can go back to being the true standard bearer here in EAW and the best part is that no one can protest about it. We fought the evils and we have been able to weed out every detestable root.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: It’s like a breath of fresh air. Clean, crisp and no dirty, dark smoke to suffocate us.
Richard Grant: Tell me about it. Now, things can sharpen up for the better. It’s like the oppressive grasps that were once draining the life out of this show is no more… kind of like what our country did to those tea-drinking sons of bitches.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Oh, I had the same thought! The timing was just too perfect. Dynasty is no longer constrained by the likes of Tyrone Montgomery and Diamond Dixon. The place is as free as can be! :blessed:
Richard Grant: Truly a blessing. And now, the next year is going to be even more amazing once Trump gets his rightful seat back in office!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: No more Sleepy Joe. I cannot wait. In fact, when Donald wins, I think it’s only fitting that we invite him over to Dynasty!
(The fans in the arena collectively groan at this idea.)
Richard Grant: Now that is something we’re definitely gonna add to the bucket list! I’m sure many of the Elitists would find his prescience to be an honor as well. After all, who wouldn’t want to meet the greatest President of lol time, right?!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Meanwhile, that idiot Tyrone would torture everyone if he invited Joe Biden over. Imagine doing that AND forcing your stupid agenda down people’s throats? Ugh. I’m so thankful we aren’t like that.
Richard Grant: Same.
(Richard gives her a kiss on the cheek, which makes Kensingten chuckle.)
Richard Grant: At any rate, we get to pick up right where we left off, and I like to think we did an excellent job with the roster for the draft. So many upstanding talent all around… even if that stupid thug Joso is round.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Trust me, I would’ve loved nothing more than to ship his ungrateful, entitled ass elsewhere, but Showdown had a monopoly with the 24/7 and Cash in the Vault winners being on their brand. I bet the fact that Joso is going to be trying to interject himself within the world heavyweight championship scene, but he’s no match for Rex, Cy, Drake and especially not Myles. :mjlol: I’m sure that will sort itself out for us.
Richard Grant: No doubt. He will expose himself soon enough. That’s a bridge that will be crossed soon enough. However, we shouldn’t stress ourselves out worrying about him. We have some top prizes here on Dynasty.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Of course, we have Rex, Cy, Drake and Myles. The pedigree those four bring to this promotion and just this brand alone are incredible. No doubt that they are going to be the main pillars here. Established, credible, with some old-school sensibilities. I’m especially eager to see what Rex will do.
Richard Grant: Me too. I’m glad Hans Grayson is here as well. Ah, what an outstanding young man he is!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: I know how much of a fan you are of him.
Richard Grant: He definitely is the future, as well as Drake. Granted, we had our issues with him last year, but he has grown to be someone who could realistically set the pace here.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Hmm… I’m still a bit on the fence with him, but there’s no denying his hunger. At least he’s a serious contender now. If I had even afforded him that title opportunity last year, he would’ve been a fish out of water. He ought to be thankful for that.
Richard Grant: Heh, you do have a point—
???: Seems like you’re forgetting a name…
(A feminine voice peeks through their chat, causing Kensingten and Richard to stand up. The woman in question? Minerva. The hall of famer and former multi-time world champion is in their office, looking at the two. The fans in the arena cheer wildly for the Black Rose.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: F-forgot? Nonsense! How could we ever forget about you, Minerva? You’re one of the greatest Elitists of all time! We knew we had to snatch you up as soon as possible to help bolster this roster even more.
Richard Grant: Absolutely! We would be fools to overlook you! Your charisma, your presence, I mean, your name alone does all of the talking!
Minerva: Really? Well, I’m flattered. I hope to make a good impression as I have never competed on Dynasty before. I’m excited.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: As we are! We can’t wait to see what an iconic figure in EAW is going to accomplish and add to her already legendary resume!
Richard Grant: Mhm! Say, remember that time to vandalized that thug’s memorial to send a message? We admire that sort of gusto around here! It’s surely needed.
(Minerva raises a brow.)
Minerva: I’m sorry..?
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Oh yes, that was a classic. Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving person. That little rat with the fake blue hair got what was coming to her. A shame she was able to walk away with the title and beat you, but you got the last laugh seeing as how you’re a respected hall of famer and she’s not!
Richard Grant: And those stupid gangbangers certainly didn’t deserve to be honored. Imagine spending your time ruining your own neighborhood, littering it with crime and other horrid actions and then people try and act as if you were an angel your entire life! Where is the accountability!? Where is the shame?!
Minerva: Riiiiiiight.
(Minerva is dumbfounded, and quite frankly, uncomfortable with the topic at hand. However, she quickly clears her throat before Kensingten and Richard have the chance to carry on with their blunt ways.)
Minerva: Look, I’m just looking forward to competing here. I want to leave my mark here, but let’s not misinterpret anything here: I’m not here for games and I’m not here to be a pawn in anyone’s political agenda. My competitive fire is not fueled by anyone’s race, color, creed, sexual orientation, political affiliation or anything of the sort. Idiots come in all shapes and forms…
(She says this while looking at them.)
Minerva: And my hands are equal opportunity.
Richard Grant: Well, that’s the spirit! Just what we expect from you—
(Suddenly, another figure comes in. Minerva turns her head, sensing a different presence. However, her eyes go slightly wide as she recognizes the person who walked in.)
Minerva: Oh. You’re here.
(Raven Roberts looks directly back at her.)
Raven Roberts: Of course I’m here. I was looking to introduce myself to the new bosses, but it seems like I came in at the wrong time.
Minerva: Wouldn’t be the first time you’ve done that.
(The air immediately gets chilly as the two women narrowed their eyes at each other. However,, Richard, sensing the obvious tension, goes in between them.)
Richard Grant: Ah, Raven, a legend in your own right. Please, you are more than welcomed here. No wrong time here! I’m sure this must be exciting for you as well considering you’re on Dynasty now!
Raven Roberts: It is. Showdown had its ups and downs, so I’m looking forward to seeing how things differ here.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Oh, trust me, this will feel like a new home to you in no time!
Raven Roberts: Really? Well, I guess we’ll wait and see then, huh?
(Minerva looks a bit annoyed, realizing that their attention were all placed on Raven.)
Richard Grant: Hey, anything you may need, Kensi and I got you covered, alright?
Raven Roberts: Alright, that’s appreciated. However, I don’t need any special handouts or anything. I want to prove that I belong here and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to show that I’m here for the long haul.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Of course. I could see you becoming champion again, and who knows? You’ll be in the hall of fame one day, joining other legends like Minerva in the process!
Raven Roberts: Like Minerva, huh?
Richard Grant: Yes. After all, you two have been two of the definitive female Elitists of your eras. It would only make sense that you would.. You know, follow after her.
Raven Roberts: Follow? Please, I don’t follow after people. I wouldn’t want to walk along the same steps as her.
Minerva: Really?
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Oh! Looks like you two have some unfinished business, huh? 👀
(Minerva and Raven narrow their eyes at each other even more.)
Raven Roberts: Guess you can say that. It’s clear that there’s still some old wounds that are opened. In fact…
(Raven gets a little closer to Minerva.)
Raven Roberts: She knows where to find me if she wants to open up some more.
(Things seemed to get more intense, but before anything can happen, Raven takes it upon herself to leave. Minerva watches on.)
Minerva: Is that right..?
(Minerva lets the thought settle for a moment before she walks out of the office herself. Richard and Kensingten exchange glances, and they both smirk, before the scene fades elsewhere.)
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Bella Braxton: The following main event, tag team contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Saint Pablo’ by Kanye West can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as the crowd roars with the arrival of Cy Henderson. Cy takes a glance upon the audience tonight, not all too receptive to their reactions as he keeps his expression tame while looking ahead to the ring. ‘Survivor’ by The Score can be heard throughout the arena as Rex McAllister makes his way outward from the entrance ramp as he has a positive expression, giving a brief glance toward Cy Henderson. He looks at the crowd with a reassuring nod, as Cy proceeds to walk down the ramp along with Rex.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first; THE TEAM OF CYYYYYY HENDERSON, AND REXXXXXX MCALLISTER!!!
Stew-O: Cy Henderson is a free agent no longer, as he has become an exclusive star of Dynasty! An incredible catch for the brand alongside fellow EAW Hall of Famer Rex McAllister, who is also looking to make good on a fresh season that brings upon fresh opportunities for himself & Cy as well.
Flannery McCoy: The journey that Rex McAllister has undergone is documented quite well, he has only come so close to becoming World Champion once more, only for the moment that be snatched from his grasp before long. Cy Henderson has diverted much of his focus into a more unreserved nature, which will be interesting to see how these two manage to operate alongside one another.
Jake Mercer: Look, as long as they are capable of humbling Drake King and making him rue ever making my Kaiser fall? I’ll be a VERY happy man!
(‘2024’ by Playboi Carti can be heard throughout the speakers as the crowd reacts loudly for Joso when he emerges from the back & to the main stage. The King of Elite sports a very confident demeanor as he has a slight grin on his face, with his eyes set toward the ring. ‘When Darkness Falls’ by Killswitch Engage is now heard blaring throughout the speakers, with Drake King making his way out from the back & standing at the entrance ramp with a confident smirk on his face. Drake extends his arms outward with his grin remaining plastered over his face, as he then ventures down the ramp with Joso.)
Stephie Love: And introducing their opponents; THE TEAM OF THE KING OF ELITE, JOSOOOOO, AND DRAAAAAAAAAAAKE KING!!!
Stew-O: Now this is a rather interesting dynamic for a team tonight, as you have the increasingly confident King of Elite & the EAW Hall of Famer who prides himself as being the absolute best that this company has to offer. Joso & Drake King may be able to work well with one another, as they certainly have garnered momentum on their side after the recent success they have both enjoyed in conquering Impact & Andre. Sorry Jake.
Flannery McCoy: But let’s not forget, their opponents are also coming off from Pain for Pride victories as well! Each team is surely looking to bring themselves greater momentum as they want to kick this season off on the most proper start possible. Tonight, this main event is star studded, but only one duo can come out of this match with the win!
Jake Mercer: You’re right, and hopefully, it doesn’t involve the fraud the duo that sports ‘King’ for themselves in different manners…
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: Here we go! Thank you for joining us for our main event tonight on the first Dynasty of the season! It appears that Rex & Joso are choosing to start this match off for their respective teams, as they proceed to emerge from their corners and begin to circle around the ring as they’re looking to cover any ground they need to go through here. Joso has been experiencing an electric sprint since becoming the very King of Elite, to be occupied in the same match with three of these bonafide EAW Hall of Famers, shortly after defeating Impact no less should tell you everything you need to know about this young man’s future in Elite Answers Wrestling.
Flannery McCoy: No one could ever doubt just how much of a difference Joso makes to any brand he is situated on, which is exactly why Dynasty did a spectacular job in securing such a special talent within the New Era himself to the degree they had to go! Now Rex pursues Joso with his arms raised as he’s looking to sweep over and aim for a waist look, but Joso does a great job keeping his distance from McAllister while waving his finger soon after. Quite the confident elitist we have here, as he’s also the only competitor among the sea of elitists in this match who is staying in the same brand!
Jake Mercer: Look, hell of a wrestler, hell of a talent, but he just got this win over Impact! For all we know, he could be a fluke if he doesn’t capitalize on this great momentum that he’s got going for himself! Now Joso & Rex are able to initiate this collar-and-elbow tie-up, as both men aren’t looking to relent back from one another while they’re vying for all of the control that they can possibly muster against one another. Rex however is able to slowly but surely overpower Joso as he’s shoving him backward and into the ropes, now keeping him against these ropes as Joso can’t do too much aside from linger as the referee proceeds with his count. Of course, a disqualification loss would look pretty dismal on Rex for his first match this season on Dynasty, so let’s avoid that!
Stew-O: Rex is able to let go without much of an issue, avoiding any shot of a disqualification from occurring for the moment as he slowly backs away from Rex, nodding to him with a grin of his own as Joso can only grin as well, seeing that they are on the same wavelength as Rex has no problem sporting the demeanor if he’s provoked to act upon it. Joso is a very confident and boastful figure after all, as we’re now seeing both men pace around once more shortly before they aim for the collar & elbow—BUT JOSO GETS HIS ARM AROUND REX’S HEAD! A headlock is quickly applied as Joso nods to himself while McAllister will have to get himself out of this hold!
Flannery McCoy: Joso is applying as much pressure as he’d like here, and Rex is now going to use much of his strength to try and lift Joso off from the canvas!!! But Joso asserts his own weight downward and back down onto the mat, which allows McAllister to shove him away and directly into the ropes! Joso’s running toward the ropes as Rex follows, dropping to a prone position as Joso rebounds & hops over McAllister! Rex is quick to move back up to his feet as Joso’s still on the run! From the ropes & back toward as a LEAP FROG from Rex follows suit—what the?! Joso just smacked the back of Rex McAllister’s head!! Rex remains standing still as he shakes his head, Joso is really pushing his confidence here if he’s going to disrespect a Hall of Famer of McAllister’s magnitude like this!
Jake Mercer: And look at this moron over there having a laugh!!! Of course Drake King finds all of the comedy in a matter such as this! He shouldn’t be enjoying ANY moment of his life after what he did to MY Kaiser! Stop making him have fun, Joso!
Stew-O: Seems Joso will be staying true to that as he’s now aiming for a swing—but Rex ducks, and Joso turns back directly into a KNIFE-EDGE CHOP from Rex McAllister!!! Joso felt every bit of that as Rex is now applying the pressure, keeping Joso propped against the ropes as he doesn’t relent at all when sending ANOTHER CHOP across his chest without avail! Joso stumbles over to the corner, and McAllister doesn’t have any intentions of stopping this as he sends yet ANOTHER CHOP in the process, with Joso dropping to a knee as he shakes his head, keeping himself as mobile as he possibly can be!
Flannery McCoy: And Rex isn’t interested in allowing Joso the room to breathe here, now hoisting Joso from his former stance as he’s looking for the OLYMPIC SLAM—but Joso lands on his feet right behind Rex McAllister! Rex is quick to turn himself back around BUT NOT BEFORE BEING CAUGHT BY AN ENZIGURI ACROSS HIS TEMPLE! Rex is rocked to a substantial degree as he’s forced to drop to a knee of his own! Joso now rushes the ropes & returns back toward McAllister looking for the BICYCLE KICK—
Jake Mercer: REX SHOOTS UP WITH A JUMPING HIGH KNEE THAT CATCHES JOSO RIGHT ACROSS HIS JAW! Wow! McAllister got a whole lot of air with that knee after the leap up from the mat!! Joso has been rocked to quite the emphatic degree as he’s not sent stumbling back toward his own corner! Rex returns back to his feet as he sees Joso’s against the corner, and he runs forward looking for a leaping clothesline against Joso to keep him suppressed all the more!!!
(TAG!)
Stew-O: JOSO QUICKLY DROPS DOWN—AS DRAKE KING CATCHES MCALLISTER WITH A FOREARM! Rex is sent stumbling back and away from the corner as Drake sneakily tagged himself into the match as Joso was in their corner! Also hid himself rather well from Rex being unable to spot him when going for the jumping clothesline! Now Drake has inserted himself into this main event, as he doesn’t waste any time leaping upward & onto the top rope… BEFORE LEAPING FORWARD WITH A SPRINGBOARD CLOTHESLINE THAT TAKES REX DOWN TO THE MAT! Drake quickly rushes on over to hook the leg, as the referee slides to the pin!!
ONEEEE!!!!
TWOOOO—
Flannery McCoy: Nope, not quite enough at all really! Rex is adamant about remaining in this match, and Drake isn’t exactly stressing to put McAllister away that quickly as he’s sporting a small grin of his own as he sits up from the pin attempt. Now Drake continues with this pressure, stomping down on Rex repeatedly after returning to a proper stance! Rex is doing whatever he can to bring himself back into this match while Drake has not been letting up! Drake leans Rex against the bottom rope, and he’s placing all of his weight into McAllister with his boots against his upper back here! Rex is choking here!!!
Jake Mercer: The referee is counting down, which I would be absolutely ecstatic if Drake were to cost the match by disqualifying himself & Joso with this maneuver! Drake even applies further pressure as he holds onto the ropes tightly, bringing the count to FI—but he gets off of McAllister before the referee could commit to the five, what a bummer! The referee’s giving Drake a brief scolding while Rex is coughing up the storm right now, but he’s slowly bringing himself back up with a hand on the ropes to help himself out! Drake now ignores the referee to return back to the usual action, as he’s not gonna allow Rex any room here—
Stew-O: REX MCALLISTER WITH A SUDDEN PELE KICK TO CATCH DRAKE KING ACROSS HIS TEMPLE! Drake stumbles quite a bit as McAllister is now returning his feet, with a hand on his own neck but still able to continue this trajectory of momentum as he’s sending the forearms across Drake’s temple! Enough for Drake to be sent against the ropes, with Rex now delivering on an irish whip that sends Drake across the ring and returning with greater momentum—AS DRAKE FOLLOWS UP WITH A SLINGBLADE THAT DROPS REX ONCE MORE! McAllister is rocked considerably as Drake’s now bringing himself back up to his feet, with Rex stumbling up onto his own feet and leaning against the ropes!
(TAG!)
Flannery McCoy: Now Drake rushes toward Rex, as he’s looking for a leaping forearm of his own to take McAllister back down—WOAH! A HUGE CLOTHESLINE FROM CY HENDERSON TAKES DRAKE KING DOWN! Cy has now inserted himself into this match after patting Rex McAllister’s shoulder to tag himself into the fray! Drake was taken down with authority as Cy is approaching King without anything in the way! Drake’s working himself back up to his feet as gets his eyes back on Henderson, looking for the SWING—BUT CY CATCHES HIM WITH A SUDDEN URANAGE SLAM THAT TAKES DRAKE KING DOWN ONTO THE CANVAS! THE COVER!
ONEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOO—
Jake Mercer: Of course that wouldn’t be enough, but I know Cy is gonna be targeting Drake King line a hawk tonight as I’m certain he hasn’t forgotten about their last outing against one another! Drake’s shaking his head vigorously as I believe the aggravation may finally be setting in for him here! Now Cy is back up to his feet, sending the strikes right over Drake’s back as Drake staggers over to the corner, with Henderson following suit as he’s now sending the repeated clotheslines across King’s chest! Each strike across his chest placing more impact than the previous as Cy is placing all of his strength in full effect here!
Stew-O: Which does not leave Drake King in the most advantageous spot in this match at the moment, as Cy rushes over to the opposite corner, then rushes back toward Drake King with an even greater sense of momentum behind him as he aims for a big BOOT—BUT DRAKE WITH A BOOT OF HIS OWN! He just caught Cy right on the chin as Henderson is forced to back off from Drake! Now Drake has another chance here to make good on any chance of getting himself to a better position for this match to revert to his control! He brings himself to rush towards Cy and AIMS FOR A DISCUS ELBOW—
Flannery McCoy: THE BIG BOOT FROM CY HENDERSON IS SUCCESSFUL ANYHOW! Now Cy has been applying all kinds of pressure toward Drake King as he’s bringing himself up to the turnbuckle while Drake is struggling! We are not predisposed to seeing Cy climb up these turnbuckles as often as we’d think, and this means he wants to put Drake down all the more with what he’s thinking next! Drake’s up to his knees here with his head perched lower, as CY MAY BE LOOKING FOR THE DIVING LEG DROP BULL—
Jake Mercer: NO! HERE’S JOSO! He’s on the apron here as he’s motioning himself over to Cy Henderson—but Cy catches him at the corner of his eye, glaring directly toward him as Joso raises his own hands up in the air while shaking his head with a smirk on his face! Joso was gonna surely take Cy off of that turnbuckle as Henderson never spotted him at the corner of his eye there—BUT IT STILL WORKS TO HIS VERY DETRIMENT! DRAKE KING CLIMBS THE TURNBUCKLE AS CY IS CAUGHT OFF GUARD… WITH THE SUPERPLEX CONNECTING!!!
Stew-O: Which allows Drake to follow through & drag Cy Henderson up from off the mat while still maintaining this grip as he can! Drake is then able to muster up all of the energy to HOIST CY UPWARD… BEFORE PLANTING HIM BACK DOWN WITH THE FALCON ARROW!! The combo is a success here as Drake King hooks the leg while he can!!!
ONEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TWOOOO—
Flannery McCoy: Gonna take far more than that to keep Cy down! Now Drake King isn’t letting up for a second, as he’s getting Cy’s arms clenched around his own arms as well! Not giving Henderson the necessary brevity to recoup here, Drake may be looking for an all the more emphatic statement to make in this match while Cy hasn’t been able to retaliate! DRAKE’S GOT CY IN PLACE FOR THE ‘ASCENSION’ PEDIGREE!!!
Jake Mercer: BUT CY SQUIRMS FREE AND LOOKS TO SEND DRAKE OVER WITH A BACK BODY DROP—BUT DRAKE LANDS ON HIS FEET! Drake King somehow lands on his feet after turning his own body to a greater degree! I certainly don’t like this man for what he did to my Kaiser but at the very least he’s crafty… AS HE THEN SENDS A DISCUS ELBOW RIGHT ACROSS THE BACK OF CY’S HEAD! Cy drops to a knee as Drake then grabs a hold of Henderson’s wrist while wrapping his arm around himself! King doesn’t waste another moment dragging Cy back up to his feet shortly before pulling him back around INTO A RIPCORD KNEE!! Cy is rocked as he’s now sent back down to the mat, crawling around as Drake is moving backward into the corner! I believe we are fully aware of what he’s got coming next!
Stew-O: IT MAY BE THAT TIME! DRAKE KING IS PREPARING FOR THE ‘JUDGMENT DAY’—
(TAG!)
Flannery McCoy: Huh? It appears Joso has tagged himself into this match, to the surprise of Drake King as he’s leaned against the corner while Joso is laying in wait for Cy Henderson to return back to his feet, with Joso now bringing himself right onto the top rope while Cy is turning himself back toward the corner where Drake is—AS A TORNADO DDT FOLLOWS SUIT THANKS TO JOSO! Quite the maneuver that Joso is able to follow through with as Cy as sent right onto his skull, but Drake is still leaned against the corner, quite disgruntled with how he was unceremoniously tagged back into the match as Joso is now bringing himself back up, looking toward Drake King…
Joso: (off-mic) Don’t worry about it! I need to get some too! I got this, alright?? Go back over to your spot!
Drake King: (off-mic) How much of a simple minded fool do you have to be, huh? I had him right there! Could’ve closed this match out right then & there!
Jake Mercer: Oh boy, there’s already quite the disension going on among Drake & Joso here, this team is gonna turn out for the worse if they aren’t able to come to a mutual understanding and score victory while they can! Joso’s shaking his head as he’s turning himself back around—AS A BOOT FROM CY KNOCKS JOSO DOWN! DRAKE QUICKLY LOOKS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE AND NAIL THE SUPERKICK—BUT CY CATCHES HIS LEG, AND RAISES DRAKE KING OFF THE MAT AS JOSO IS STAGGERING OVER TO THE CORNER! Drake is trying to throw the punches onto Cy, but he’s rushing Drake over to the corner—
Stew-O: CY HENDERSON WITH THE BUCKLE BOMB!!! DRAKE COLLIDES RIGHT ONTO JOSO! Cy with his immense power is able to cause Drake to crash directly into his own tag partner as now Drake’s sliding back out of the ring! Joso’s now dropped and slumped over while Cy is able to return back to the top of the turnbuckle as well! Joso is slowly bringing himself back up to his feet while Henderson’s looking out for Joso here, the very second that he’s on his feet with his head perched forward… CY LEAPS OFF THE TOP WITH A DIVING LEG DROP BULLDOG FOR GOOD MEASURE! Joso is down as Cy now hooks the leg, the referee counts the pin!!!
ONEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TH—
Flannery McCoy: NOT QUITE ENOUGH! JOSO KICKS OUT! Cy Henderson has Joso where he’s needing him however, as there is no sign of Drake King to be seen at the moment! Cy is able to drag Joso back up to his feet, as he’s looking to make an even bigger maneuver possible while Joso is unable to retaliate for this moment! Cy has Joso… READY FOR THE ‘PHANTOM DEATH’—
Jake Mercer: JOSO SQUIRMS FREE, FOLLOWED BY A SUPERKICK TO THE LEG! Cy drops down to his knee as Joso is now looking to mount as much offense as possible as he doesn’t let up… WITH A SUPERKICK ACROSS CY’S TEMPLE! Cy is now dropped to the mat entirely, but perching his upper body upward ever slightly, not looking to be taken out of the equation as—JOSO WITH A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP THAT CAVES INTO THE CHEST OF CY HENDERSON! Cy’s clutching onto his own chest and rolling away from the mat and to the apron! Joso proceeds to bring himself to Cy’s position, as he’s got a clump of his hair held and trying to drag Cy back up despite the referee telling Joso to let go of his hair!
Stew-O: Which doesn’t seem to impact Cy considerably as he’s able to send repeated strikes across the midsection of Joso, and then delivers a hard right across his jaw as well! This allows Henderson to get his arm around Joso’s neck while having a grip of his tights here… AS HE’S LOOKING TO SUPLEX JOSO FROM THE MAT & ONTO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR—BUT JOSO SQUIRMS FREE WITH A KNEE TO CY’S HEAD! Henderson drops Joso onto the apron, as now Joso & Cy are both situated on this apron here! Joso sends a forearm right across Cy’s temple, looking to keep him at bay for as long as he possibly can before this all spirals out of control! Now Joso brings Cy downward, as he’s looking to prepare Cy for a ‘CRIMSON PEAK’ STYLES CLASH ONTO THE APRON—
Flannery McCoy: CY LIFTS JOSO RIGHT OVER HIS SHOULDERS!!! CY IS LOOKING FOR THE ‘RISING TIDE’ ONTO THE APRON! BUT JOSO IS FIGHTING! Repeated elbows across Cy’s temple causes Henderson to drop Joso back onto the apron! Now Joso backs away for a moment, as he nods to himself vigorously shortly before rushing back toward Cy as he’s looking to TAKE CY BACK DOWN—
Jake Mercer: ‘CYCLONE LARIAT’ FROM CY HENDERSON TAKES JOSO OFF THE APRON!!! Joso drops onto the ringside floor as Cy is now seated on the apron, but he needs to bring Joso back into the ring as he wants to take advantage of his opponent being unable to retort back! Cy’s now looking to drag Joso back up to his feet here, as he’s able to drag him accordingly—LOOK OUT!!!
Stew-O: SUICIDE DIVE FROM DRAKE KING CONNECTS!!!! BUT WHILE TAKING OUT CY HENDERSON, HE ALSO TOOK OUT JOSO BY PROXY! Drake is now returning back to his feet as he’s eagerly looking to bring Cy back into the ring, as he’s able to do so all the while Joso hasn’t been able to move himself up to a proper stance since the dive!
Drake King: (off-mic) Hey! C’mon! Don’t be such a slouch and get back in that ring!!
Flannery McCoy: I don’t believe this is the proper way to aiding your partner in an environment such as this—WHAT THE?!? Why did he just slap him across the face like that?!?!? To try to wake him up??? Joso was already trying to bring himself back up anyway! Drake takes it upon himself to toss the King of Elite back into the ring however, as he now has given Joso some semblance of control if he can—
Jake Mercer: REX HAS GOT DRAKE HOISTED UP.. OLYMPIC SLAM INTO THE RING POST!!! YEAH! THAT’S WHAT YOU GET!!! REX MCALLISTER JUST TOOK OUT DRAKE KING FOR WHAT MAY BE THE REMAINDER OF THIS MATCH!! Now Rex is returning back to his corner, and Cy is still feeling the effects of the suicide dive as Rex is now assuring that he’s back into the fray!
(TAG!)
Stew-O: Rex is now the legal competitor for himself and Cy Henderson, as Joso’s on wobbly legs and unable to fend for himself as McAllister is looking to take him down, wrapping his arms around Joso’s waist before sending him spiraling right onto the back of his neck with a GERMAN SUPLEX! BUT HE DOESN’T LET GO! Rex maintains the hold that he has over Joso as he is now willing himself and his opponent back up to his feet, and with that, REX SENDS JOSO CRASHING DOWNWARD WITH THE SPINNING SIDE SLAM!!! Joso is down as McAllister hooks the leg for the win!!!
ONEEEEEEE!!!!
TWOOOOOOOO!!!!
THREEEEEE—
Flannery McCoy: NO! NOT OVER YET! Joso is still in this match as Rex will have to find another way of attaining any semblance of control in this match! Now McAllister heads over to the corner, as he’s now looking to close out this match properly while he can! Rex has Joso primed for what’s gonna transpire next, looking to bring victory over to his team as there’s gonna be time for what’s coming up… THE ‘REX EFFECT’—
Jake Mercer: DRAKE KING WITH A SPRINGBOARD KNEE ACROSS MCALLISTER’S TEMPLE! Rex is dazed as Drake has just inserted himself back into the match without being the legal competitor here! He hooks Rex’s arms together while he’s unable to fight back… AS HE NAILS THE ‘ASCENSION’ PEDIGREE! GET OUT OF HERE, DRAKE! WHAT THE HELL IS A MATTER WITH YOU, I DON’T EVEN FANCY REX MCALLISTER TOO HIGHLY MYSELF! Now the referee is finally giving this man the warning as Drake’s imparting his own words toward the referee… while Joso’s dragging McAllister back up to his feet!
Stew-O: AS JOSO HOISTS REX MCALLISTER UPWARD—AND NAILS THE ‘INCOMING SILENCE’!!! SPIN-OUT SITOUT POWERBOMB TAKES REX DOWN AS JOSO’S GOT HIS SHOULDERS DOWN! But the referee is still trying to get Drake King to return to his own corner!! Drake eventually caves & brings himself to the corner, but those were crucial moments being wasted as the referee finally slides right on over to count the pin! The win could still be here for Joso & Drake King despite the time loss!
ONEEEEEEE!!!!
TWOOOOOOOO!!!!
THREEEEEEEEE—
Flannery McCoy: NOT ENOUGH! REX MCALLISTER KICKS OUT! Joso is wide eyed and shaking his head in frustration, as he’s glaring directly toward Drake King while doing so! You can tell how irate he must feel knowing that this match could have been his if Drake wasn’t keeping the referee’s attention solely on himself! Now Joso is keeping his focus back on Rex, as he can’t expend all of his focus on his partner when he’s got the opponent before he can put down! He can go back to back with pinning EAW Hall of Famers right here, as he’s looking to send Rex into a whole new world of hurt here as he’s dragging him upward… AND LOOKING FOR THE ‘HEAVEN’S GATE’—
Jake Mercer: REX SQUIRMS FREE—AND PLANTS JOSO DOWN ONTO THE MAT WITH A SPINEBUSTER FOR GOOD MEASURE!! NOW HERE’S REX HEADING OVER TO THE CORNER! While Joso is down, McAllister is looking for the win to come directly to him here! As Joso’s slowly raising to his feet here, Rex sees that he’s risen just enough to move forward, REX EFFECT INCOMING—
(TAG!)
Stew-O: Cy Henderson looks to tag himself in! McAllister is utterly confused as Cy is now bringing himself into the fray, but Rex then stands in front of him as he shakes his head, not understanding why Cy would intrude as Joso did with Drake King earlier!
Rex McAllister: (off-mic) What are you doing??? I had him right there!
Cy Henderson: (off-mic) You need to step aside, Rex…
Flannery McCoy: It seems this team is also having their own fair share of problems… AS DRAKE TAKES IT UPON HIMSELF TO HEAD DIRECTLY INTO THE MATCH AND AIMS FOR A SUPERKICK—BUT REX DUCKS! HE THEN AIMS FOR A BICYCLE KICK—
Jake Mercer: DRAKE DUCKS AND REX BLASTS CY ACROSS HIS JAW WITH THE KICK!!! THE REFEREE IS TRYING TO BRING BACK CONTROL BUT NOW DRAKE SENDS A BOOT ACROSS REX’S ABDOMEN! DRAKE BACKS AWAY FROM REX AS HE HAS HIS EYES SET ON CY, AND HE—
Stew-O: BUT CY’S NOW TACKLED DRAKE KING DOWN AND IS SENDING THE RIGHTS!!! JOSO THEN PROCEEDS TO FOCUS ON REX, AS THEY’RE SENDING THE FOREARMS ACROSS EACH OTHER’S HEADS!!! THE REFEREE HAS LOST TOTAL CONTROL OVER THIS MATCH! ALL FOUR OF THESE ELITISTS ARE BUTTING HEADS WITH ONE ANOTHER!
Flannery McCoy: AS THE REFEREE IS LEFT WITH NO CHOICE!!! CALLING FOR THE BELL!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS MATCH HAS BEEN RULED… A NO CONTEST!!!
(The negative responses can be heard across the audience tonight, as Rex & Cy have been able to gain the advantage over Joso & Drake respectively ‘till they’re each pushed toward one another. As they each turn around to look toward each other….
Stew-O: OH MY GOD! REX & CY ARE THROWING THE RIGHTS AND LEFTS ACROSS ONE ANOTHER! THEY COULDN’T REFRAIN FROM GETTING PHYSICAL FOR LONG! NOW BOTH MEN ARE BATTLING ONE ANOTHER AS THESE FISTS ARE BEING THROWN WITHOUT AVAIL!
Jake Mercer: THIS IS THE CHAOS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN NEEDED—AS JOSO HAS JUST LEAPED TOWARD DRAKE!!! NOW JOSO & DRAKE KING ARE TOSSING THE FOREARMS ACROSS ONE ANOTHER AS BOTH TEAMS HAVE NOW BECOME ENEMIES TONIGHT! THEY REFUSE TO BACK OFF FROM EACH OTHER AS THE PUNCHES HAVEN’T SLOWED DOWN!
Flannery McCoy: THIS ISN’T GONNA RESOLVE ITSELF ANYTIME SOON IF THEY DON’T BRING OUT SECURITY! THANK YOU FOR JOINING US TONIGHT ON THE FIRST DYNASTY OF THIS SEASON, AS IT IS BROUGHT TO A VERY CHAOTIC END!!
(As Joso & Drake King and Cy Henderson & Rex McAllister brawl with one another respectively, security begins to sprawl onto the scene as they’re looking to separate each pair that was brawling with one another. With officials struggling to keep them all apart, Dynasty comes to a close amongst the chaos with the scene fading out.)
(EAW logo buzzes.)
