After a huge 2021, EAW started off 2022 in a major way! With the first free-per-view of the year King of Elite approaching, we saw the King of Elite tournament and the return of the Empress of Elite tournament take place! While this has been a major month for many Elitists, there’s two that really stand out, which is why the Elitists of the Month for the month of January are the Unified Tag Team Champions, the Haircare Kings! The Haircare Kings had an amazing January, as they showed how formidable they are both on their own and as a tag team. During this month they managed to successfully defend their Championships against the rising team of Shane Gates and Kirk Redwood, and that was only one of their accomplishments this month. Jake Smith would win a fatal four way to gain number one contendership for the National Elite Championship, and Chris Elite would advance all the way to the finals of the King of Elite tournament, leaving both Elitists with big matches and major opportunities at the event! It’s not often where two Elitists are chosen as the Elitists of the Month, but after what these two have accomplished this month it was completely deserving. Congratulations to the Unified Tag Team Champions, Chris Elite and Jake Smith!
