(The scene comes to life from the annals of black. A gentle piano melody hums in the background, intertwining with the soft glow of candlelit hues as the montage begins. The camera sweeps through a dreamy, ethereal setting—rose petals drifting, golden lights flickering, and slow-motion glimpses of intertwined hands, knowing smiles, and shared laughter.)
Narrator: Love. It is the unshakable bond that withstands the test of time, the force that weathers storms and shines even in the darkest of nights. It is found in the unspoken glances before battle, in the quiet moments away from the chaos, in the way two souls move as one.
Narrator: Still, some may find love to be impossible to have, especially in an industry such as professional wrestling. How can one possibly find someone who they can conceivably spend the rest of their life with in an environment that breeds nothing but contempt and hostility? Some say love and war cannot coexist, that in order to survive in a world of ambition, of glory and sacrifice, one must forsake the vulnerability that love demands. But time and time again, love proves them wrong. Because even in the most relentless of battlefields… love endures.
(The piano melody continues before it seamlessly transitions into ‘luther’ by Kendrick Lamar and SZA. Clips begin to play, showcasing some of EAW’s most beloved and noteworthy couples.)
(A scene fades in of Cameron Ella Ava and Jamie O’Hara, standing side by side in the ring, their eyes locked in mutual admiration before cutting to a more tender moment with Jamie brushing a strand of hair behind Cameron’s ear, their foreheads touching as they share a soft laugh backstage.)
Narrator: A love built on greatness, strengthened by the trials they have conquered together. Side by side, hand in hand, they stand as warriors and as soulmates.
(The screen transitions to Myles and Minerva, captured in a moment of undeniable chemistry of Myles wrapping a protective arm around Minerva as she leans into him, their gazes fierce yet filled with something deeper than words. Cut to them dominating in the ring together, moving in perfect synchronicity.)
Narrator: A love forged in fire, unbreakable and untamed. They do not follow the world’s expectations… they carve their own path, together.
(Another scene captures Rex McAllister and Raven Roberts strolling together, accompanied by additional clips of them proudly hoisting various championships they’ve claimed during their careers.)
Narrator: A love complex and layered, where ambition and devotion intertwine in a dance only they understand.
(After that, an additional scene captures Impact and Sienna Jade sharing a laugh together. Following them are Methuselah and Kassidy Heart, both radiating an aura of invincible strength.)
Narrator: Love in EAW is not just a fleeting emotion. It is a battle-tested force, a fire that never dies. It endures through victory and loss, through triumphs and tribulations… because in the end, love, like the warriors who find it, never surrenders.
(The montage captures more moments—Dr. Bethany Blue and Adam Lucas, steadfast and united, their hands grazing as they stand shoulder to shoulder, unshakable.. Veena Adams and Charlie Marr cackle together. Michael Machina and Bea Valentine’s excitement is infectious as they cheer each other on and celebrate one another’s victories. Milli Banks and Bronson Daniels exchange affirmations, holding hands and trading gentle kisses on each other’s foreheads. Meanwhile, Halsey Neel fiddles with a delicate rose between her fingers, the faintest hint of a smile playing at her lips as Damien Kutcher watches, pleased…)
(…and then, the shot settles onto Pandora Paisley as she observes from a distance amidst the crowd. The camera follows her gaze to Jon Kelton, his focus locked on the battle ahead, oblivious to the eyes lingering on him from afar. She remains only for a moment before slipping away, swallowed by the crowd, a ghost in the night.)
(…)
(…)
(…)
(Also, Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant pop up, sucking face. Yeah.)
(We’re sorry in advance.)
Narrator: For some, love is held tightly, cherished in the light. For others, it lingers in the shadows, a whisper left unspoken. But no matter how it takes shape, one thing is certain…
(A final montage of intertwined fingers, fierce embraces, and knowing glances plays before the scene softens into the drifting of more rose petals, settling like remnants of something eternal.)
Narrator: Love endures. Love remains. Happy Valentine’s Day, EAW.
(The screen fades to black as the EAW logo appears, a single red rose resting at its base.)
(Then, the Friday Night Dynasty show intro plays. Following that, a brief montage plays, recapping the events of last week’s show: Drake Armstrong, the new King of Elite, comes out to the ring to celebrate his victory and declare his intention to become World Champion, but is interrupted and attacked by Impact. Kirk Redwood scores the win against the debuting Jordan Perkins. Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant discuss the aftermath of King of Elite and make announcements for Operation: Doomsday, including the return of the Iron Survivor match, Drake Armstrong vs Impact, and Minerva vs Joso for the World Heavyweight Championship. Saori Aizen defeats the also-debuting Grace De Luca. Mia Santoro and Holly Arrow have a heated discussion backstage about favoritism and opportunities in EAW. Cosmo Goldworthy wins a triple threat match against Clayton Golde and Vincent Mondrian by pinning Clayton, who is noticeably angry after the match. Hans Grayson discusses his loss at King of Elite and expresses interest in the Iron Survivor match before defeating Jay Jerry Johnson in a match where Clayton Golde interferes. Raven Roberts and Rex McAllister are interviewed about King of Elite when Daniella Atlas interrupts to express her belief that Fire & Ice’s time has passed, leading to a challenge for Daniella to find a partner and face them in a tag team match. In the main event, Rex McAllister defeats Chris Elite. Closing out the show, Joso and Minerva set the stage for their title bout at Operation: Doomsday.)
(With the recap concluded, Friday Night Dynasty switches over to a live shot of the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. It’s a sold-out affair as thousands of the EAW faithful stand tall and proud, cheering wildly and excited to get things going! Pyrotechnics go off, and after the dazzling red-colored display, the shot switches over to the commentary team with Stew-O, Jake Mercer and Flannery McCoy present.)
Jake Mercer: YESSIR! IT IS THE BEST DAY OF THE YEAR!
(Jake reaches underneath the desk and puts on a Valentine’s Day Headband, complete with frills and glitter. He also takes out a heart-shaped kazoo and blows into it. Stew-O and Flannery shake their heads, chuckling.)
Flannery McCoy: And who happens to be your date for tonight?
Jake Mercer: Me, because self-love is the best kind of love there is. :periodt:
Stew-O: :notbad:
Flannery McCoy: :wow: That is true. Nothing can ever beat that.
Jake Mercer: Exactly, and if you love yourself, you better go ahead, DoorDash that box of chocolate you’ve been eyeing all day, get some wine while you’re at it, and relax as you watch us tonight here on Friday Night Dynasty!
Stew-O: Hey, that’s my job!
Jake Mercer: Consider it a favor just for today. 😌
Stew-O: :mjlol: !! Well, my partner, enthusiastic as always, already did the intro, so welcome to Dynasty, everyone! We have quite the treat in store for you all here tonight, and after that beautiful montage the EAW production team created in honor of today’s holiday, we’ll go ahead and open things up with an address from the King of Elite himself: Drake Armstrong!
(Following the opening remarks of the commentators, the video feed fades away from their desk and to the arena as a whole, which abruptly changed from its standard lighting to the radiant golden lighting of a certain king; ‘Pride and Arrogance’ by Takeru Kanazaki began blaring through the speakers as the Titantron lit up with the King of Elite’s regal entrance video. Pride and Arrogance could scarcely be heard over the deafening boos and jeers of the Ohio audience, but that did not stop Drake Armstrong from marching out onto the stage with his loyal butler, Charles, walking out behind him to his right-hand side with the king’s crown held within its glass case seated upon a royal red pillow..)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… YOUR 2025 KING OF ELITE!!!!!!!!!! ‘THE FUTURE’… DRAKEEEEEEEEE ARMMMMMMMSTRONGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Contrary to last week’s entrance, there were no grand theatrics, no Rolls Royce, no royal procession, no ludicrous show of pyrotechnics, and no throne; just an irate Drake Armstrong who began storming down the ramp, with Charles following slowly thereafter, keeping the crown safe with the utmost professionalism.)
Stew-O: Needless to say, Drake Armstrong does not look happy at all about the events of last week!
Flannery McCoy: As horrible as Impact is, I’m glad someone interrupted Drake’s self-glorification session; there’s no telling how long he would’ve talked otherwise!
Jake Mercer: What are you talking about?! Are you saying you weren’t loving every minute of that? Did you see how much pyro my glorious KOE had? That was a celebration fit for a king and Impact ruined it!
Stew-O: We have not heard from the King of Elite since Impact’s ambush last week, but it looks like he’s ready to sound off to kick Dynasty off this week! We heard that Kensingten and Richard set up a match between them at Operation: Doomsday, so Drake Armstrong versus Karl Impact is now imminent!
(Drake Armstrong, followed by Charles, stepped into the ring and received a microphone from the ringside staff. With it in hand, he turned and glared towards the hard cam. Without further ado, he began to speak.)
Drake Armstrong: One week ago, I had my coronation celebration to begin Friday Night Dynasty; that was my RIGHT as the King of Elite! The Dynasty brand failed to maintain its unbridled dominance at Territorial Invasion thanks to the mediocrity of some and the imbecility of our World Heavyweight Champion, and I took it upon MYSELF to reclaim that lost glory by CONQUERING the Showdown and Voltage brands to bring the crown over to red territory. But you all saw what happened; you all saw the TREACHERY that took place when I was AMBUSHED from behind.
Drake Armstrong: Karl Impact, EAW’s very own record-setting 10 time world champion, decided to embark on a misbegotten journey to redeem himself at the KING’S expense. It goes without saying, but I will not let that little display of cowardice slide. Indeed, the truth of the matter is that I offered a challenge for anyone in the roster to walk down that ramp and challenge me, because the King has decided upon his own journey. I WILL become the next world champion, but I see no pageantry in simply waltzing over and inserting myself betwixt the squabble that Joso and Minerva will be having; when I become world champion, it will be MY moment and MY moment alone, untarnished by any unwanted presences. At King of Elite, I constructed the newest branch of the Armstrong Dynasty’s kingdom in previously unconquered territory; I made history as the first of my lineage to not only invade the realm of sports, but to do so in its most dangerous core: professional wrestling.
Drake Armstrong: But perhaps it is that very fact that has sparked your desire to fight me, Karl Impact. You see, I still remember you mentioning the fact that you are ‘wrestling royalty’ in the lead up to the Extreme Elimination Chamber, comparing yourself to the invading royal force that I represent in what you believe to be YOUR territory. How amusing is that little remark, around two months departed from it? Because no longer am I simply the royal heir of my kingdom OUTSIDE the professional wrestling industry, but now I am a certified KING in what you perceive to be your domain. Meanwhile, what have you been doing since our previous king got down on his hands and knees and begged you for a match? Coming up short.
Drake Armstrong: I have made it no secret the overwhelming disdain I hold for the World Heavyweight Champion; that reckless, moronic fool is currently making a mockery of both the gold that he holds and of the very concept of the spoken word. However, even in spite of his countless flaws, the fact of the matter remains that he has dog walked you time and time again, and the only answer you have is that your status as a historic world champion grants you the privilege to try and try again as many times as you damn well please. Now, though, rather than attempting to gather yourself up and continue hunting him down, rather than squashing whatever rivalry you have with the man who stole my Interwire Championship last year, you come to ME. You come to your KING.
Drake Armstrong: If the EAW Universe wishes to hear the King’s opinion, then by all means, perk up your ears and listen up. As it turns out, I did not need to issue that challenge to the roster, because Karl Impact, sniveling rat that he is, already premeditated that ambush. Woe is me for having an ounce of faith in EAW’s security when they provided me with the royal procession that I had ordered; they had allowed a Trojan Horse to infiltrate them. The fact of the matter remains, though, that I had asked if anyone had the guts to challenge me, and you appeared. Perhaps you had too many guts – in more ways than one – because you insulted me in the way that you did so.
Drake Armstrong: I heard what you had to say this week. You find yourself a month past the beginning of 2025, and you still have scarcely a thing to show for your return to EAW from last year’s Pain for Pride Kingdom. You’re struggling to find your footing… and during this little crisis of yours, you decide to challenge the KING? It almost seems to me as though you’ve decided that I am some weaker opponent to challenge, someone with enough of a standing to matter but feeble enough for you to overcome at this late stage of your career; if that is indeed your train of thought, then you are headed for the crash of your lifetime. You do not run anything in professional wrestling anymore; you are wrestling royalty due to your past, but I am wrestling royalty because of the here and now. This is not 2009. I declared this to be my dominion, and if that means I need to issue punishment to those who act contrary to my wishes, then so be it.
Drake Armstrong: In MY EAW, you are a trophy. A PRIZE… but not forever, not at this trajectory. You are a depreciating commodity that holds value for what you have done; however, with each and every failure, that value continues to dissipate. Perhaps it is fortuitous that you decided to challenge me before things got out of hand and your value depleted entirely. Whatever the circumstance is, though, you screwed up the moment you made the imbecilic decision to strike me from behind. Putting your hands on your King is treasonous, and you shall be sentenced to a permanent end because of it! You-
Karl Impact: Oh for the love of god, enough.
(Drake turns towards the stage, where Karl Impact appears, causing boos to emanate from the audience. Karl begins walking down the ramp and into the ring as he continues to speak on the microphone.)
Karl Impact: Here I thought people got tired of the sound of my voice after sixteen years of hearing it, but you may be getting there within just a measly two years. First of all, cut it out with the victim complex; I’m not going after you because I see you as a ‘weaker opponent’ or whatever other bullshit you came up with. You want to talk about insults, THAT’S an insult; thinking someone like me would EVER settle and go for a weak opponent. No, I’m going after you because of the same way I described you last year; I called you a gifted and highly-touted wrestler of this era, and that’s why I want to put you down. I target wrestlers that this company presents as the best and brightest of this era because I know that I will always be capable of throwing down with them and putting them in the dirt.
Karl Impact: And that means that no matter what insults you throw my way, they don’t mean a thing. I don’t give a damn what you say because I’ve earned the right to rise above all of that. And while you aren’t stupid enough to call me washed up while you treat me like a prize, the fact that you think your victory at King of Elite puts you above me just might make you that stupid. That crown may as well be made of paper and given out to children at Burger King for all it means to me; you want to talk about wrestling royalty? You’re wrestling royalty because you won ONE match in ONE tournament in ONE year; what the hell do you think that means to me, when I’ve gotten better achievements in bigger matches in over a decade and a half? I’ve seen promising stars like you show up and have your little two year runs, three year runs, hell, even five year runs before disappearing; but a guy like me has weathered every storm this company has faced and still came out the other side.
Karl Impact: While those names all disappear, only ever being brought up nowadays as a punchline that only the older parts of the roster can understand, the name of Karl Impact never disappears because the man himself never does either. And yes… yes, I admit that Joso has been able to have my number for now, but the same thing applies to him. Every time people thought Impact was done for, every time people thought Impact saw his last world championship, I proved them wrong. You don’t get to #10reignz without being the best in the world, and while that flash in the pan champion has been enjoying his first and only reign, it’s only a matter of time before I break my OWN record and extend my lead over all of you.
Drake Armstrong: Oh yes, bravo, we all know that you’ve been at this game for over half most of our lives. You give me sixteen years to wrestle and I’ll show you that when a man like me has that level of longevity, there isn’t going to be a ‘GOAT question’ or a ‘GOAT circle’; that position is destined to be held by one person, and the only reason there’s still a dispute is because it doesn’t belong to any of them. I’m not a flash in the pan, I’m not the type of wrestler that’ll disappear from the industry and from everyone’s memories, and you need to stop projecting the failures of random wrestlers of the past onto me. There is NOBODY like me. I am the King of Elite today, but soon enough I’ll be the new World Heavyweight Champion, and fourteen years from now, I’ll have already had everyone from the audience to the roster heralding me as the greatest to ever lace up a pair of boots.
Karl Impact: You want to know the funny thing about that? For someone who says there is nobody like him, I’ve heard bits and pieces of that spiel about a hundred times from a hundred wrestlers… all of whom disappeared. You’re not unique, Drake; you’re just another man destined to be overshadowed by ME-
Stew-O: OH, BUT DRAKE ARMSTRONG HAD ENOUGH OF IMPACT! HE JUST HIT HIM WITH A PUNCH, AND NOW THE TWO OF THEM ARE BRAWLING!
Flannery McCoy: COMPETITIVE SPIRIT HAS FLARED UP AND NOW IT LOOKS LIKE WE WON’T HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL OPERATION DOOMSDAY, BECAUSE THEY’RE DEAD SET ON KNOCKING EACH OTHER OUT RIGHT NOW!
Jake Mercer: CHARLES, GET OUT OF THE WAY!
Stew-O: DRAKE HITS A LARIAT TO KNOCK IMPACT OVER THE TOP ROPE, AND NOW THIS BRAWL SPILLS OUT TO RINGSIDE NEAR THE RAMP; CHARLES IS TRYING TO BREAK IT UP, BUT IT’S TOO MUCH FOR ONE MAN!
Flannery McCoy: NOW IMPACT RAMS DRAKE INTO THE STEEL STEPS – BUT DRAKE RETALIATES IMMEDIATELY, BOUNCING IMAPCT’S HEAD OFF THE STEEL POST! EAW’S SECURITY GUARDS ARE COMING OUT TO BREAK THEM UP!
Jake Mercer: THEY’RE BEING FORCEFULLY SEPARATED, BUT THEY’RE STILL STRUGGLING TO GET ONE LAST STRIKE AT THE OTHER– WHAT?!
Stew-O: OH MY GOD! IMPACT JUST HIT CHARLES WITH THE FIST OF FURY! DRAKE ARMSTRONG IS SHOCKED AS THE SECURITY GUARDS TURN TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED; IN THE CONFUSION OF IT ALL, IMPACT SLIPS AWAY, AND NOW HE’S BACKING UP ON THE RAMP AS HE GETS AWAY FROM THAT MESS!
Flannery McCoy: DRAKE ARMSTRONG’S EYES WIDEN UPON SEEING CHARLES KNOCKED OUT, BEFORE HE GLARES UP AT IMPACT; THE KING OF ELITE LOOKS ABSOLUTELY LIVID!
Jake Mercer: HE’S SHOUTING AT IMPACT AS HE BACKS AWAY NOW! THERE ARE GOING TO BE CONSEQUENCES FOR WHAT WE JUST SAW HERE TONIGHT, FROM WRESTLING ROYALTY TO WRESTLING ROYALTY!
(The video feed lingers on the chaos as Impact and Drake lock eyes while the former continues up the ramp and the latter glares in rage, before the video feed fades to black.)
(A commercial plays for Operation: Doomsday, where Drake Armstrong takes on Impact.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Notorious’ by UPSAHL begins playing and the lights flash green and white. The camera pans over to Mia Santoro moving through the crowd, tagging her fans. She signs a couple of autographs, before hopping over the barricade and sliding into the ring. She climbs up the middle rope, extending her arms out.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Key West, Florida, weighing in at 115 pounds, she is “LA DESPERADA” MIA! SANTORO!
Stew-O: Last week, we saw Mia Santoro get into it with Holly Arrow due to the fact that it very much seems like Holly is beginning to get in the good graces of Kensingten Calhoun-Astor. However? Holly wasn’t very receptive to what Mia said and she’s even made it a point of acknowledging all the times that she’s beaten Mia.
Jake Mercer: It seems as if Santoro’s back is against the wall. If she wants to prove Holly wrong and perhaps even elevate to getting a win over her, she needs to show up and show out tonight and defeat Corey Hale tonight. A task easier said than done.
Flannery McCoy: We all know what Mia is capable of. But she’s gonna need to show it tonight! I’m sure that argument with Holly last week serves as fuel, and sometimes that’s all an Elitist needs to succeed.
(‘Rise and Fall’ by Starset hits the PA speakers and Corey Hale charges out from the back with a smile on his face. He tags as many fans as he can, storming down the ramp towards ringside. He leaps up the steps, looking around the arena. Corey takes the ropes and slingshots in, rolling to a knee and posing in the center.)
Stephie Love: Her opponent, from Phoenix, Arizona, weighing in at 200 pounds… he is “THE CELESTIAL WANDERER” COREY! HALE!
Jake Mercer: Losing a championship match is always tough to recover from. At King Of Elite, we saw Corey Hale fail to take the Interwire Championship from Jay Jerry Johnson—unable to build from his shocking round one upset. I don’t think it should discourage Corey, but this is his chance to remind everyone what he’s all about.
Stew-O: We all know how good Hale is. Mia has got some motivation going into this one, but so does Hale! We didn’t see him last week on Dynasty, but this is a chance to return to fashion and get back in the win column. Something that he very much needs.
Flannery McCoy: This isn’t the first time that he’s coming off a championship loss anyways. For him to have even gotten the Interwire Championship match, it required him to have to follow up his New Breed Championship loss to BRAE. Corey knows how to face adversity and get better from it. That’s what he’s gonna have to show tonight.
(DING DING DING!)
Jake Mercer: The bell has rung and here we go– OH! MIA SANTORO RUNS ACROSS THE RING WITH A SHOTGUN DROPKICK TO COREY, SENDING HIM BACKWARDS! Mia is immediately hot out of the gates, clearly with something to prove! Corey holds his chest, wheezing. He tries to rise but Mia grabs ahold of his head in a clinch and fires off repeated knees to the ribs! This is a newfound aggression from Santoro, without a doubt!
Stew-O: She takes Corey by the wrist and sends him across the ring with an irish whip—no! He counters it! Mia falls into the turnbuckles and Corey runs across the ring for a flying for– no! Boot raised by Mia! Corey wobbles and Mia hits off the ropes, trying for a bulldog! But Corey slips his head out at the last second and Mia falls spine-first onto the canvas! She clutches her spine, sitting up as Corey fires off a soccer kick to the back! She rolls to her feet, clutching her back in agony. Mia groans, and Corey now throws a chest kick!
Jake Mercer: Mia falls into the ropes and Corey takes her by the wrist for an irish whip, but Mia counters with one of her own! She ducks her head down for a back body drop, only for Corey to leap over, pulling her down with a sunset flip! WAIT A MINUTE! Mia backrolls out of the sunset flip, leaping into a dropkick to a seated Corey Hale! Mia kips up and the crowd comes alive! I’m really in shock of what we’re seeing right now!
Flannery McCoy: It’s clear as day. Mia Santoro wants to level up on Dynasty and she is working her ass off tonight. Mia steps out to the apron and begins to climb the top rope. Corey slowly rises as well, wincing. Mia flies off the top with a diving crossbody! Corey moves out of the way and Mia lands onto her feet, rolling through! Mia rises and turns back to Corey– SPINNING SOLE KICK TO THE RIBS! She hunches over and Corey leaps to the middle rope, springboarding off into an ASAI MOONSAULT!
Stew-O: The tides have shifted in favor of Hale! Mia rolls away, holding the back of her head. Corey claps his hands, calling for the fans to rise. Mia slowly staggers up and falls into the turnbuckles. Corey hits of the ropes and charges into a shoulder thrust! He pulls her out of the corner, turning her. He hoists her up for a STO BACKBREAKER, THEN A REVERSE STO INTO THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE! Mia bounces of the turnbuckles and falls backwards, holding her jaw. Corey kneels up, looking around with a determined look on his face.
Jake Mercer: Corey rolls to the apron and makes his way up to the top rope. He nods profusely, swiping his hair out of his face. Mia is still down and out, and Corey positions himself. He points down to Mia, diving off the top rope for a FROG SPLASH–MIA ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! Corey holds his ribs as he goes crashing into the canvas! He tries to pull himself up, but Mia is up to her feet and she steps out to the apron. Corey slowly rises, and don’t look away from this! MIA TAKES THE ROPES AND SPRINGBOARDS UP, DIVING INTO THE RING WITH A THRUST KICK TO THE JAW OF HALE!
Flannery McCoy: THAT ONE TURNED HIM INSIDE OUT! COREY GETS LEVELED RIGHT ONTO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD! Mia slowly pulls herself up and grabs Corey by the head, taking him to the center of the ring without hesitation. She scoops him up, EXPLODER SUPLEX! RIGHT INTO THE CENTER OF THE RING! And Mia makes the first cover of this match!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Stew-O: Only for Corey to kick out! That was a very close call, though, and that’s not what you want this early in the match. Mia rises up to her feet and drags Corey up. She turns him around and hooks the waist for a saito suplex, but Corey throws an elbow down to the back of the head! He throws a second one, and Mia tries to power through and lift him up anyways, but Corey wraps his legs around her waist into a wheelbarrow position and drags her down with a victory roll! Holding tight to the ankles, pressing his weight down onto her shoulders!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Jake Mercer: Mia shoves Corey off! He falls off of the pin, frontrolling back up to her feet. Mia slowly rises back up and turns to Corey who’s already waiting–SPINNING SOLE KICK HUNCHES HER OVER! THEN COREY THROWS A PENALTY KICK TO THE JAW! HER HEAD RISES, AND HE THROWS A ROUNDHOUSE KICK, TURNING INTO A SUPERKICK! AND A CORKSCREW ROUNDHOUSE KICK PUTS HER DOWN! WHAT A COMBINATION OF MOVES, AND THAT JUST WOKE THE CROWD UP HER IN COLUMBUS!
Flannery McCoy: Mia reaches around, having no idea what just hit her. Corey pumps his fists. He backs away into the turnbuckles, calling her up. Corey pulls onto the ropes, stomping the canvas. He’s yelling, waiting for Mia to rise! Mia plants her hands onto the canvas and slowly pulls herself up… Corey runs across the ring, FOR ‘ZENBREAKER!” BUT MIA HOLDS ONTO HIS LEG WITH ALL SHE’S GOT! SHE’S STILL GROGGY FROM THAT COMBO, AND SO SHE STUMBLES BACKWARDS INTO THE ROPES!
Stew-O: It’s too much for her to carry, and she dumps Corey over the top rope, but Corey hooks her head as she’s upside down and brings him over with her! Both crash onto the apron, what a landing! He scoots back, clearly the more aware competitor right now. Mia is trying to find her way back up, only for Corey to stand and crack her with a superkick! Mia is dazed and confused right now. Corey turns his back to her, LEAPING UP THE MIDDLE ROPE!
Jake Mercer: HERE IT COMES! SPRINGBOARD CUTTER ONTO THE APRON– NO! MIA CATCHES HIM AND SLAMS HIM DOWN ONTO THE APRON! OH MY GOD! COREY JUST WENT BACK FIRST ONTO THE HARDEST PART OF THE RING! He’s about to roll off the apron, but Mia has the wherewithal to drop to the floor and push him back into the ring! She slides in after Corey, intent on securing the victory when things just looked dire for her! Corey is still clutching his back, in deep pain!
Stew-O: Mia pulls Corey up and hooks the head and leg, ‘BLACKEST HOUR!’ SWINGING FISHERMAN’S NECKBREAKER PUTS HIM OUT IN THE CENTER OF THE RING! SHE TAKES THE ARM AND LEG, DRAGGING HIM TO THE CENTER OF THE RING! MIA DROPS DOWN AND HOOKS THE LEGS FOR THE COVER, CAN THIS BE IT?!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE–
Flannery McCoy: NOPE! HALE KICKS OUT! There’s a lot of fight in The Celestial Wanderer and we’re seeing it firsthand! Mia runs her hands through her hair, slapping the mat. She desperately needs this win and to finally accumulate some momentum for herself, but we know the roads that Hale has traveled in short time and tonight may be another victory for him if she isn’t careful!
Jake Mercer: You’ve gotta think deep in a situation like this, and show some IQ. Mia pulls Corey into the drop zone and she steps out to the apron. Mia hesitates, looking around. The exhaustion is getting to her. These two have been fighting at mach speed since the ringing of the bell and you can see the toll that it is having on Mia who started this one off very hot. She begins to climb the middle rope, and make her way up to the top. Corey is still down and out, and this is Mia’s chance to go for the win!
Stew-O: We know what typically comes next when she’s up here! MIA WANTS TO END THIS, MIA WANTS TO CHASE THE FEEL–NO! COREY RISES AND SHOOTS THE ROPES OUT FROM UNDERNEATH MIA! She loses her balance and falls, crouched on the top rope! Corey climbs the middle rope and begins to forearm Mia repeatedly! Mia tries to cover up, but she’s getting battered right now! Corey makes his way all the way up to the top and he hooks Mia by the head! Mia reaches up, trying to pry herself free! Corey shakes his head!
Flannery McCoy: AND HE BEGINS TO LIFT HER! MIA HAS NO SAY IN THIS! BUT SHE DROPS DOWN! Headbutt from Mia, and Corey falls off the top. Mia slowly turns herself, trying to get off the top rope and restart, but Corey is back up again! He takes the top rope and dives into an enzuigiri to the back of the head! Mia nearly falls off the top rope, but she has to hold on to the post at the last second to stay alive! Corey climbs the middle rope, and then up to the top! He hooks Mia’s head into an inverted facelock, Mia screams, trying to get free–
Jake Mercer: THAT’S NOT HAPPENING! COREY HOISTS HER UP! AVALANCHE INVERTED SUPLEX! AND HE HOLDS ON, ROLLING THROUGH! COREY HOISTS HER UP IN THE AIR AND SPINS INTO A MICHINOKU DRIVER II-B! PLANTED IN THE CENTER OF THE RING! AND HE EASILY PULLS HER LEGS UP TO HIS SHOULDERS FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRR—
Stew-O: MIA GETS HER SHOULDER UP JUST IN TIME! But Corey isn’t discouraged at all! He slowly rises up to his feet. Corey then takes the legs of Mia, propelling her backwards and backrolling her to her feet! Mia nearly staggers, still stunned, but IT DOESN’T MATTER AS COREY RUNS FORWARD, LEAPING INTO THE ‘ZENBREAKER!!!’
Jake Mercer: HE DIDN’T GET IT EARLIER, BUT HE GOT IT THIS TIME! THE SINGLE KNEE FACEBREAKER CONNECTS, AS MIA’S SKULL IS DRIVEN RIGHT INTO THE KNEE OF HALE! MIA FALLS BACKWARDS AND COREY CRAWLS OVER, HOOKING THE LEGS! THE REFEREE SLIDES TO THE COUNT!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE–
Flannery McCoy: KICK OUT FROM SANTORO! These two are damn near kicking out of everything! They really want a win tonight and the desperation is beginning to show! Corey sits up, running his hands through his hair. He looks around, breathing heavily. Mia is still out of it. Corey turns and throws down some stomps to the chest and shoulder. Mia covers up, getting battered by everything that Hale throws her way. He takes her and rolls her back a bit. Corey then steps over to Mia, eying the turnbuckles.
Stew-O: You still gotta be careful. Corey takes the top rope and begins to climb to the middle rope. He adjusts himself, looking around. AND THEN HE SPRINGS OFF THE MIDDLE ROPE WITH A PHOENIX SPLASH! BUT NOBODY’S HOME! MIA ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! Corey gets planted right into the canvas! He staggers up slowly, meanwhile Mia is using the ropes to get her up to her feet. She hooks Corey by the waist and elevates him above the canvas, SPINNING INTO A SAITO SUPLEX! RIGHT ONTO THE BACK OF HALE’S HEAD!
Jake Mercer: Mia sits up, roaring out! She takes the ropes and rolls to the apron. Corey is still clutching at his head and slow to get up as a result. This gives Mia all the time that she needs to recover and prepare for her next move. She stands on the apron, tugging at the ropes to get herself situated. Corey slowly pulls himself up, his head still leaning down as he tries to get all the way up–MIA SPRINGBOARDS UP TO THE TOP ROPE! AND SHE DIVES INTO A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! MY GOD!
Flannery McCoy: COREY FALLS FLAT ONTO HIS FACE! HE’S GOTTA BE OUT OF IT! BUT MIA DOESN’T WANT THE COVER! SHE ROLLS HIM OVER TO HIS BACK! Mia rises to her feet and steps out to the apron! Mia slowly climbs up to the top rope. Mia wasting no time, AND SHE DIVES OFF THE TOP WITH ‘CHASE THE FEELING!’ DIVING LEGDROP RIGHT TO THE THROAT! HALE IS OUT OF IT AND MIA ROLLS OVER, PINNING HIM!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner, MIIAAAA! SANNNTTTOOORRROOOO!!
(Mia rolls off of Corey, kneeling up. She takes a deep breaths, rising to her feet and pumping her arms up. Mia paces around the ring, extremely elated to pick up the win tonight and it’s showing with her celebration. The referee takes her arm and raises it up high. Mia backs away from the ref, smiling as she climbs the middle rope and throws her arms up to the crowd. Meanwhile, the referee tends to a hurt Hale in the ring.)
Jake Mercer: HUGE win for Mia Santoro tonight! Corey Hale has looked to become a potential champion on numerous occasions despite just getting here! He’s one of the hot New Breeds on the roster right now, but Mia is truly determined to become a better version of herself and she took him down to elevate her name!
Stew-O: You have to give credit to both competitors. They went out there and had a fantastic matchup. But it was Mia who really showed up and proved that she wanted it more than Corey. And that’s not to take away from Corey, who will surely bounce back as he always has on Dynasty.
Flannery McCoy: I love the turning of a new leaf for Mia Santoro! She is determined to step up and be a better version of herself, and we just saw it all come to fruition tonight.
(Mia continues to celebrate before Friday Night Dynasty transitions to commercials.)
(A commercial plays for Reasonable Doubt, the final Showdown-exclusive marquee event of the season before Grand Rampage. Catch it live on Saturday, March 1, 2025!)
(As Dynasty would return on air, we would immediately waste zero time in opening up as “Betty (get money” by Yung Gravy hit the speakers, Clayton Golde walks out with his star struck smirk directly across his face.)
Stew-O: Here he is! Last week a rather interesting occurrence happened with Clayton Golde, honestly? It didn’t feel like the rather typical Clayton we were accustomed to either!
Flannery McCoy: There was certainly much more viciousness behind that version of Clayton Golde we saw last week, he was much more pushing forth, much more focused, he seemed like he genuinely had a purpose for being out there.
Jake Mercer: Usually he’s the type of guy that goes with the flow and then is over it, but last week he had clear motives. Jay Jerry Johnson had a clean shot at beating Hans Grayson, but Clayton grabbing the foot sold him on what would have been the killing blow!
(At the words of Jake Mercer, that replay would show. Highlighting how close the Interwire Champion was to a victory, yet the foot grab would cost him the entire match. That got a negative reaction from the crowd, as the scene cuts off of the video, and shows Clayton in the ring sulking in all the hatred and negativity. He laughs as he does a nice little pace around the ring, before throwing his head back and laughing. This only made the boos louder, before he finally silenced them and spoke.)
Clayton Golde: Everyone take a bright bubbly look at the events that occurred last week. Did you see how inferior the chud Jay Jerry Johnson is? I mean, if he had any common sense and knew what being Interwire Champion was about, he would have pulled through even despite me grabbing him by the foot! But it was a simple distraction, and he gave me full focus from his intention, and 100% gratification that I was right there inside of his head. Because see EAW universe, I’m going to tell you how it is right now, an alpha male such as myself? Does not get around being a passive bitch, that just cuts you back even further in line. I remain my focus, I continue my focus. Being a passive bitch really gets you nowhere especially in EAW. I will admit, if you want an honest confession? Yes.
(Clayton paced around the ring a little bit as he was nodding his head. What was he saying yes about?)
Clayton Golde: Yes, I can be honest with you here. I was fine shilling my supplements and plugging my podcast, being able to reap the benefits and extra income, because hell yeah! But if i’m being honest, there was one income that is the most important one. And that is… GOLD(e) BABY! I want to be a champion dammit! I want to be at the top of the mountain with a rocket strapped to my thigh, everyone praising me even more than they already do. Just imagine me winning a title in EAW. It would be absolutely generational. Let’s be hypothetical here and say that if I become champion, the viewership in EAW of the male percentage will increase times 30. Point blank — I want to be a champion and things haven’t entirely gone my way since coming to EAW. I am going to be genuine and honest here; have you ever felt tired? Because I sure as hell have. I have taken a plethora of stupid losses, some that sit in the back of my mind till this very day. I have watched other people speed by me, and that feeling sucks even more. People who came into EAW after me and got it done before me.. that is a feeling of motivation, I will say. It really wakes me up, and makes me start wanting to fight back. That’s why I have decided to start taking course of action. I can promise that Dynasty will be in a good.. no, GREAT place once Golden is at the top. And now, instead of sitting on my ass and waiting for the moment, I decided to take the initiative and be the person that steps up into the fray and starts coursing action. With that said — I don’t want there to be a single setting doubt about my future at any point in this time, because I am going to be a champion. And of course becoming a champion, that just means everything else can boom business-wise. Selling championship replicas, photos of me posing with the championship, business will boom far brighter than the human mind can even comprehend!
(Clayton Golde gestured to the sky, as he just smiled thinking about all the epic things that will play out once he becomes champion. Maybe a little delusional in how smooth his ideas were going to go, but yeah totally, he was completely focused on that.)
Clayton Golde: I mean let’s be honest here, Triple J got lucky that the champion before him was utter trash, the only reason he got the title was because he came out there first. And then he had no idea what even hit him, dude has been in EAW for how many years is it now..? And he allows himself to get outsmarted and outplayed in such a way? A brilliant level to my genius, but I don’t want to take full credit, but literally the son of a bitch didn’t even know what hit him—
(“Mayoi Uta (Song of the Lost Star) by MYGO! hits the speakers. Clayton Golde just turned his head in shame.)
Stew-O: And here comes Jay Jerry Johnson! The Interwire Champion was not going to allow the slander to continue to be applied to his name!
Flannery McCoy: Jay looks pretty calm and chill if you ask me, I feel like someone else would want to just grab the ears of Clayton Golde and rip them off his head!
Jake Mercer: That definitely may be a case or two, but Triple J isn’t wasting any time on getting into that ring, let’s see what he has to break down on and say..
(Jay gets into the ring, as he looked at Clayton, there wasn’t any anger on his face, just frustration.)
Jay Jerry Johnson: I am not really impressed by the attitude you came out here with, Clayton. Neither am I angry. But, I am not feeling these games that you want to play. I just don’t see anything interesting about it. I understand the reason you got involved in my match last week, was it because of my Interwire Championship now? That was obvious. I understand creating opportunities in the face of frustration as well. I was once in your shoes, before I won the Interwire Championship the first time, back when myself and PJ Hendrix had our rivalry. However, if you want me to be honest with myself Clayton, I was taking methods I would come to regret. Even if in hindsight everything paid off for me as I was able to capture this title at Pain for Pride two years ago, sometimes I still sit and shake my head at my actions. And honestly? If you asked me, you are gonna come to understand that yourself here real soon. The only difference is, you aren’t going to succeed. You are gonna have to deal with the crushing reality that you got too big for your britches. And really, you’re nowhere near the competitor that I am. But since you want to take matters into your own hand, I am going to be doing the same thing. So, I am just gonna go ahead and shut you up — and give you what you want. I will be facing you Clayton, and it will be at Operation Doomsday. Congratulations on receiving your wish.
(Jay proclaimed as Clayton Golde stood there nodding his head. With the biggest shit eating green spread across his face, he just chuckled.)
Clayton Golde: Perfect! All I had to do was come out here and tell the people how trash you really are. Good shit bro, now you’re gonna lose your title just because you allowed yourself to be too prideful! Thanks for helping me strike gold man!
Jay Jerry Johnson: That may be what you think, Clayton. But I promise that this is not going to be what you want. You are going to fail. And be nothing more… than a little hurt bitch.
(Damn. Jay dropped his microphone as he turned around and left the ring. Clayton watched on, but really? He just had a smirk across his face. This was exactly what he wanted, and he was in the position of where he should be. All was right for him, and it’s time to capitalize.)
Stew-O: An immediate and quick reaction from Jay Jerry Johnson where he looked and basically told Clayton he wasn’t ready for this.
Flannery McCoy: The only thing is, as personal as Jay Jerry Johnson wants to get, I don’t think Clayton takes anything personal! Just look at the smug grin on his face!
Jake Mercer: It’s safe to say that no matter what and how serious Jay Jerry Johnson gets, Clayton Golde won’t get there.
(One more final shot showed of Clayton watching Jay leave, as Dynasty went elsewhere.)
(A commercial plays for Voltage’s Shock Value, taking place LIVE on March 15, 2025. Get your tickets now!)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘RUNITUP’ by Tyler, The Creator ft. Teezo Touchdown begins playing as Cosmo Goldworthy races out from the back with an extremely confident look on his face. He nods his head, making his way down to the ring without a care in the world.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from The Golden State, weighing at 220 pounds… He is CCCOOOSSSMMMOOOO! “MONNEEYYY MMMOOOO!!” GGGOOLLLDDDWOORRRTHHHYYY!!!
Stew-O: Last week, Cosmo Goldworthy was able to pick up a victory over Vincent Mondrian and Clayton Golde in triple threat action. It was a great win for Cosmo, especially in only his fourth match. The ego of this kid is definitely a bit inflated going into this week following that win, though.
Jake Mercer: And can you blame him? Vincent Mondrian is a former Interwire Champion, and Cosmo is intent on proving that he belongs. He’s got a tough task going against Holly Arrow who desperately wants to become champion in her own right, but imagine how high Cosmo’s stock would raise if he wins tonight?!
Flannery McCoy: That’s if he can keep his head on his shoulders. We’ve seen very quickly how talented Cosmo is, but you can’t deny that his pre-match behavior leaves a lot to be desired.
(Cosmo’s theme is then replaced by the sound of ‘Judas’ by Lady Gaga. Holly Arrow stomps out, making her way down the ramp. She stares at Cosmo, very focused on this match and nothing else. She tags the fans, quickly making her way down to the ring. Holly shows her entrance jacket off, entering the ring and tossing it out.)
Stephie Love: Her opponent, weighing in at 149 pounds, from Liverpool, England, HOLLY! ARROW!
Jake Mercer: Being bounced out of the first round of the Empress Of Elite left a bad taste in Holly Arrow’s mouth, but her encounter with Mia Santoro may have left an awful taste in her mouth. Holly was very snippy with Mia, and I mean, it’s not the WORST thing to be on similar wavelengths of our great general manager, Kensingten Calhoun-Astor.
Stew-O You can pump the brakes a bit there. Holly didn’t need to react to Mia the way tht she did, but she certainly has something to prove. Holly made it very clear earlier this week that ‘she wants to be champion, she will be champion.’ There’s only one way to prove that, though.
Flannery McCoy: And it’s by winning. Losing to a relative rookie in Cosmo Goldworthy would put a huge dent into Holly’s momentum, and likely, her confidence. There’s a lot of eyes on her, two different people on each shoulder. The only person that she needs to focus on isn’t Mia or Kensingten, it’s herself. And we’re gonna see how it plays out tonight.
(DING DING DING!)
Stew-O: As soon as the bell rings, both Holly and Cosmo approach the center and engage into a tight collar & elbow tie-up. Neither are able to quite get an advantage over the other, trying to push each other back. Cosmo twirls under, grabbing her into a waist lock. But Holly spins out into a side headlock! Cosmo winces, falling to a knee. Holly continues to wrench it in, giving her very little to work with. But Cosmo pops up to his feet and brings her to the ropes! Cosmo shoots her off across the ring and he charges into a shoulder block!
Jake Mercer: Holly goes down and Cosmo hits off the rope, but Holly rises and rolls, tripping Cosmo over her back! He slips forward and falls to his fours, and Holly pops up into a side headlock! Cosmo reaches out, groaning. He struggle, trying to get free. He hooks the waist of Holly and rises, bringing her to the ropes to try and send her off–but Holly skids to the center, keeping the side headlock locked in! Cosmo grits his teeth, pulling at her arm He tries his hardest to get out of this.
Flannery McCoy: Cosmo throws an elbow to the kidney! Another elbow from Cosmo! Holly winces and he brings her to the ropes, but Holly won’t let go, so he spins off the ropes and scoops her up into a BACK SUPLEX! Finally, Cosmo is free! He sits up, holding his head. Holly is out of it entirely, though. Cosmo takes the ropes and slowly rises. Holly pushes up to her feet, looking around, dazed. Cosmo throws a right hand to the jaw! He throws another punch! Holly falls into the ropes and Cosmo takes his wrist for an irish whip, but Holly reverses it!
Stew-O: She charges into a shoulder block, but Cosmo takes her down with a drop toe hold! He floats over Holly and applies a front facelock. Holly winces. She tries to get free, pulling at the wrists of Cosmo, but he refuses to let her go. She slowly builds herself up, but Cosmo delivers a knee to the ribs! He holds onto the front facelock and drops back, rolling her onto her back and into a lateral press.
OOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE–
Flannery McCoy: Kick out at one for Holly! Cosmo isn’t phased as he goes into affront chancery. Holly takes the wrists, trying to get up. But Cosmo is pressing his body weight down on her, giving her very little to work with. Holly slowly pulls herself up to her feet and she holds onto Cosmo’s wrist, spinning out and applying a wrist lock! Cosmo winces. Holly twirls into an arm wringer and drives her shoulder into his! Cosmo groans out and Holly keeps the wristlock in. Cosmo wobbles forward, reaching for the ropes.
Jake Mercer: Holly is privy to it though, and she throws a kick to the inner bicep, stopping Cosmo from reaching the ropes! Cosmo falls to a knee, groaning. Holly keeps that wristlock in tight, but Cosmo begins to mount back up to his feet. He approaches the ropes and then leaps up the top rope, backflipping off into an arm drag to free himself! Holly rolls away, clutching at her back. She looks up to Cosmo, utterly appalled at the rookie’s quick thinking.
Stew-O: The two both rise and once again go for a collar and elbow tie-up, but this time Holly ducks under Cosmo and hooks him in a waistlock. He hoists him up and slams him into the canvas! She tries for a front chancery, but Cosmo spins out and takes the waist himself! Now he’s got her in a grounded waistlock! Cosmo tries to keep her down, but Holly slowly rises. He tries to bring her down, but a standing switch from Holly! She hoists him up for a GERMAN SUPLEX!
Flannery McCoy: Right on the back of his head! Cosmo rolls away, clutching the back of his head in agony. Holly rises to her feet, pumping her fists. Cosmo takes the ropes and slowly rises. Holly nods, running forward for a clothesline over the top–Cosmo ducks under and he gets her with the clothesline! Holly falls to the floor, but quickly recovers. Cosmo clutches at his neck, but he takes the ropes and slingshots over with a crossbody! Holly is out of it!
Jake Mercer: Cosmo drags her up and throws her into the ring. Holly wobbles up and Cosmo slides in with her. Holly stumbles up and Cosmo wraps his arm around the back of her neck and runs up the top rope, SHIRANUI! Holly gets planted! Cosmo sees the opportunity to make another cover and he’s right on it!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO–
Flannery McCoy: Barely a two count! Holly gets the shoulder up! Cosmo slaps the mat, rising to his feet. He reaches down and pulls her up. Cosmo turns her around and hooks her by the waist, Holly elbows him way, though! Cosmo staggers, reaching for her again, and this time Holly sends him back with a palm strike to the throat! Cosmo falls backwards, holding his throat. He coughs out, swinging for her again!
Jake Mercer: She catches the arm and twirls under, pulling him down for a fujiwara armbar! Cosmo screams out in agony, as Holly is cranking back tight on that armbar! He reaches for the ropes, trying to get free. Holly continues to pull on the arm, not allowing Cosmo to get away with anything! She pulls as far back as she possibly can, but Cosmo refuses to give up!
Stew-O: Holly is tugging on that arm with as much power as possible! Cosmo screams out, feeling his arm getting contorted farther than he would like. She tries to drop back with it, but Cosmo is able to alleviate her weight to roll them both back up to their feet! Holly still has the arm hooked, but Cosmo runs her into the turnbuckles! She releases, and he immediately leaps into an enzuigiri!
Flannery McCoy: That stuns Holly in the corner, and Cosmo rises up and runs across the ring–ONLY FOR HOLLY TO FOLLOW UP WITH A RUNNING LARIAT IN THE CORNER! Cosmo falls to a seated position and Holly turns around, hitting off the turnbuckles. She runs forward, for a running hip attack in the corner! Cosmo’s head bounces off the turnbuckle and Holly pulls him out of the turnbuckles, wasting no time. She hooks the arm over her shoulder and hooks the leg, tossing him across the ring with an exploder suplex!
Stew-O: Sometimes the power of Holly Arrow is understated, and she’s showing it off tonight! Cosmo is in deep trouble right now. Holly rises to her feet, pumping her arm. She calls him up and hits off the ropes for ANOTHER LARIAT! Cosmo ducks it this time and he runs forward, leaping up the middle rope and flying to the side with a HURRICANRANA! Holly gets sent onto her back! Cosmo pulls himself up and backs against the turnbuckles.
Jake Mercer: He climbs up the middle rope, calling Holly up. Holly slowly rises and Cosmo dives off with a middle rope european uppercut–only for Holly to anticipate it! She turns her back at the last second and hooks Cosmo’s uppercut arm, and then his free arm and brings him down with a backslide pinfall!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Flannery McCoy: Cosmo rolls out of it! Holly holds onto the wrist and scoops him up into a fireman’s carry! Before she can execute anything, Cosmo slips out the backdoor! He spins her around and handstands into a scorpion kick! That drops Holly to her knees and Cosmo rises, swinging a roundhouse kick– Holly ducks under and Cosmo’s leg gets trapped over her shoulder. She hoists him up into an electric chair!
Jake Mercer: AND COSMO BRINGS HER DOWN FOR A VICTORY ROLL—NO! SHE HOLDS ONTO THE LEGS, TRAPPING HIM INTO A WHEELBARROW! AND WITH ALL OF HER POWER, SHE HOISTS HIM UP IN THE AIR FOR A WHEELBARROW FACEBUSTER! MY GOD! HOW DID SHE PULL THAT OFF?!
Stew-O: I am in disbelief at what Holly just did there! Cosmo is out on the canvas and Holly kneels up, gasping out. That certainly took a lot of energy out of her, but she’s not over it! Cosmo reaches up, wheezing. Holly rises and pulls Cosmo up, taking him by the hair. She throws him to the ropes! AND POPS HIM UP FOR ‘VICTORIA–’ NO! COSMO CATCHES HER LEG AT THE LAST SECOND!
Jake Mercer: He throws it down and leaps into a gamengiri! The shin landing on the back of the head! Holly falls onto her fours, slumped on the mat. Cosmo stumbles up, seeing Holly trying to get up. He rises to his feet and runs forward, LEAPING TO THE MIDDLE ROPE! COSMO DIVES OFF, CRACKING HER WITH A SPRINGBOARD CUTTER! HOLLY IS FLOORED! Cosmo rolls to his knees, beating his chest! He pulls Holly up afterwards!
Flannery McCoy: Cosmo turns Holly around, hooking the arms. He slowly turns her, looking for ‘MONEY TALKS!’ Holly slips her head free and hooks the arms of Cosmo. TIGER SUPLEX! Cosmo holds the back of his head, groaning. She follows Cosmo back up to his feet and hooks the waist, looking for another one… But Cosmo reaches for the ropes! He holds on for dear life and the referee has to enforce a clean break!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! COME ON, GET OFF OF HIM!
Jake Mercer: Holly finally releases Cosmo, and he immediately turns and forearms her! Holly fires back with one of her own, though! That creates a back and forth exchange! Cosmo swings a third, but Holly ducks under and cracks him with a HEADBUTT! Cosmo falls to his knees, dazed. Holly scoops the head and lifts him up for a vertical suplex, but Cosmo stalls it! Holly tries again, but Cosmo stands his ground, refusing to let himself be lifted! Instead…
Stew-O: He begins to lift Holly up! He tries for a vertical suplex of his own, but Holly flails her legs in the air, making it very hard on Cosmo! Cosmo staggers, and he ends up dropping her over the ropes! Holly lands on the apron, but she’s still in a front facelock with Cosmo. Cosmo tries to lift her back over, but it’s Holly who starts using all of her strength to pull Cosmo over to the top rope! His body is draped across it, and she frees herself! KNEE TO THE JAW! COSMO GOES LIMP ACROSS THE ROPES!
Flannery McCoy: That’s exactly what Holly needed! She backs up, slowly climbing up the top rope… And she points down to Cosmo… LEAPING OFF! ROPE HUNG KNEE DROP, TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! HOLLY’S KNEE COLLIDES WITH COSMO AND SHE SPILLS TO THE FLOOR, WHILE COSMO FALLS RIGHT BACK INTO THE RING!
Stew-O: MY GOD! COSMO’S HEAD BOUNCED OFF AND HIT THE CANVAS HARD! Holly rolls in, fired up! She drags Cosmo up to his feet and grabs him in a front facelock this time. She reaches underneath, hooking the legs and hoisting him up for the ‘FATE OF BOTH WORLDS!’ NORTHERN LIGHT BOMB PLANTS COSMO’S SKULL INTO THE CANVAS! Holly rolls on top of him for the cover!
OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR–
Jake Mercer: ONLY FOR COSMO TO KICK OUT! Holly sits up, shaking her head. Cosmo stares up at the ceiling, wincing. That was an extremely close call. Holly pulls herself up to her feet, beating her chest. She drags Cosmo up by the hair and turns him around. Holly grabs Cosmo into a pumphandle. She’s wasting no time, wanting to just simply go for another big move!
Stew-O: AND HERE IT COMES! FLIPS HIM OUT OF THE PUMPHANDLE FOR ‘MAGNETIC DESCEN–’ COSMO LANDS, OVERROTATING HOLLY UP FOR A MICHINOKU DRIVER OF HIS OWN! Holly is out of it! Cosmo rolls to the ropes and to the apron. He slowly pulls himself up, headed to the top rope! Holly isn’t moving… And Cosmo knows that, perched up top!
Flannery McCoy: He dives off the top rope, flying into a SWAN DIVE HEADBUTT! SKULL TO SKULL CONNECTION! Holly rolls away, clutching at her head! Cosmo holds his as well! He takes a moment to get up, but Holly is very hurt right now! This is Cosmo’s chance to capitalize! He crawls away, throwing his hands up. He’s yelling, demanding for her to rise! He takes the ropes, slowly stomping on the canvas.
Jake Mercer: Holly slowly pulls herself up. She’s still clutching at her forehead, feeling the effects of that diving headbutt from Goldworthy. She staggers around for a second, then slowly turns back to Cosmo, who bounces out of the turnbuckles and SOARS INTO THE ‘READY TO DIE!’ THE TORNADO KICK FLOORS HER! SHE’S DOWN AND OUT! COSMO HOOKS THE LEGS FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR–
Stew-O: HOLLY JOLTS HER SHOULDER UP! Neither are going down, as it seems! Cosmo slaps the mat! He looks up to the referee, in disbelief! The rookie is struggling to hold his composure, and this is certainly the time where you need to be doing that!
Cosmo Goldworthy: (off-mic) Are you fuckin’ kidding me, ref?! A KICK OUT?! WHY??? HOW?! THIS SHIT SHOULD BE OVER, DAWG!
Jake Mercer: Now is not the time, Cosmo! Holly is trying to pull herself up, but Cosmo pulls her up on his own accord. He nails her with a forearm! Holly falls into the ropes, but she fires back with a forearm of her own! She takes him by the head and drives an elbow across the forehead! Cosmo staggers, and Holly swings another, but Cosmo kicks her arm out! And then a superkick! The superkick staggers Holly, so Cosmo throws another, sending her into the ropes—
Stew-O: BUT AS THAT HAPPENS, HOLLY FALLS THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPES AND REBOUNDS OFF, SWINGING INTO A PENDULUM LARIAT! COSMO GETS TURNED INSIDE OUT! HOLLY WITH AN AMAZING COUNTER STRIKE! Cosmo is down! Holly pulls him up and grabs the head, hooking him into a front facelock.
Flannery McCoy: She runs forward, propelling herself up the middle and then top rope, swinging into a TORNADO DDT! Holly isn’t done either, backrolling! She deadlifts Cosmo up, lifting him up high in the air in vertical position! It’s hardly any resistance from Cosmo, as HOLLY BRINGS HIM DOWN WITH A BRAINBUSTER! RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF THE RING! COSMO IS NOT MOVING WHATSOEVER!
Jake Mercer: Holly pulls Cosmo up, throwing Cosmo’s arm over her shoulder. She clutches the other arm and hoists him up high, spinning into ‘ODIN’S LEFT EYE!’ THE WRIST CLUTCH OLYMPIC SLAM PUTS HIM DOWN! HOLLY ROLLS OVER, PINNING COSMO!
OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEE—
Stew-O: COSMO BARELY GETS HIS SHOULDER UP! HOW?! I THOUGHT THAT WAS IT! CERTAINLY AFTER THE COMBINATION OF MOVES THAT HOLLY JUST THREW AT HIM! He’s laid out, hardly showing any signs of life! Holly kneels up, looking at the referee in confusion! She slaps the mat. She thinks that should’ve been it!
Jake Mercer: I don’t blame her for feeling that way! I can’t believe he kicked out of that! But Cosmo is still down, I don’t know how much more he’s got left in him! Holly pulls Cosmo up and hooks the head and arm, looking around. She hoists him up, LIFTING HIM VERTICALLY FOR THE ‘PSISONIC CROSSBOW!’ COSMO LANDS, BRINGING HER DOWN WITH AN INSIDE CRADLE!
Flannery McCoy: THE REFEREE GETS DOWN TO COUNT THE PIN, BUT HOLLY ROLLS THROUGH WITH THE CRADLE, DEADLIFTING COSMO RIGHT BACK UP! ‘PSISONIC CROSSBOW!’ IT LANDS THIS TIME! DRIVING COSMO HEAD FIRST INTO THE CANVAS! IT WAS A LAST DITCH EFFORT FROM GOLDWORTHY, BUT HOLLY ARROW IS A WOMAN ON A MISSION AND SHE IS NOT GOING TO ALLOW ANYONE TO TAKE THAT FROM HER! STRAIGHT TO THE COVER!
OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner, HOLLLYYYY! ARRRROOOOWWWWWW!!!
(Holly rises off of Cosmo, fired up. Cosmo is out of it. The referee takes Holly’s arm and raises it up, but given her demeanor and body language, she’s still locked in as if the match was still going. As Holly makes it to the ropes, she takes a deep breath and breaks out of it. Holly steps out to the ring, tagging a couple of fans on her way to the back.)
Stew-O: Statement made by Holly Arrow! Cosmo Goldworthy may have believed this was his chance to show the world what he’s made of—but Holly Arrow is determined to become a champion for the first time and that performance may have gotten her there.
Flannery McCoy: It was a great match to watch in the opening stages, but Holly saw an opportunity to take over at the very end and that is *exactly* what she did. You can’t take anything away from Goldworthy, but this just wasn’t his match to win and it happens.
Jake Mercer: Mia Santoro picked up a win earlier tonight and Holly picks up the win right there. I’m sure Mia was watching that match, and I just wonder what she’s thinking of this all…
(The last shot shows a triumphant Holly raising her arms up before Dynasty fades to commercials.)
(A commercial plays for Tropical Cafe Smoothie, featuring Bea Valentine enjoying the new chocolate-covered strawberry smoothie. Get yours now!)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns from commercial break. Backstage, Daniella Atlas is seen, making her way towards the ring as her match is next. The dark-haired femme treks forward, ready as can be. Entering the shot though is Michael Belfort, the resident EAW interviewer, and with his microphone in hand, he walks up to her.)
Michael Belfort: Daniella Atlas! A moment of your time for a bit?
(She raises a brow, but a shrug soon follows.)
Daniella Atlas: Sure. I suppose there is no harm in entertaining you for a few seconds.
Michael Belfort: Thank you. Of course, King of Elite you had an incredible match against Bea Valentine in the finals for the Empress of Elite tournament, but you came up short of winning the whole thing. What is your mindset like in the aftermath of it?
Daniella Atlas: Well, I believe I laid it all out already, didn’t I? Ce n’était pas idéal, mais je ne peux qu’avancer. I would’ve loved to be the one to have that crown fitted upon my head, but alas, Miss Valentine was the better competitor for that night. I will not take anything away from her. However, people here should not attempt to take anything away from me, either. At the end of the day, how many people can say they went from former Specialists Champion to an Empress of Elite finalist barely two months apart? Both stints didn’t procure the outcome I desired, but they are enough to lay down the foundations for me and my future success.
Michael Belfort: That’s an admirable perspective, Daniella. But with that success comes pressure—especially as you step into the ring tonight. Your opponent is none other than Raven Roberts, a woman who’s been looking to sharpen her own edge and who you are more than familiar with now, given your interaction last week. How do you plan to handle that added pressure of not only facing a woman of her stature, but a woman who is seemingly reinvigorated and hungry?
(A small smirk spreads across her face as she answers.)
Daniella Atlas: Pressure? Oh, please, Michael. If there’s anything I thrive under, it’s pressure. Raven has had her moments, and she seems to not have been mentally dejected by her loss to Milli, which kudos to her. If anything, it’s better for Elitists to press forward and not crumble down like a bunch of sniveling tots when they fall short of their own expectations. However, what she fails to realize is that I am not just another hurdle in her path; I’m the wall she’ll crash against because I don’t plan on losing tonight or whenever we have that little tag match. She thinks she’s ready to prove that she isn’t some lost relic, but me? I’m ready to show to everyone that I am leaps and bounds ahead of this era that some people fail to give me credit for.
(She takes a step closer, her eyes narrowing slightly.)
Daniella Atlas: I’m not in the camp of becoming complacent. I wish to show everyone why I deserve to be in the spotlight—and why I’m not fading into the background. The Empress of Elite tournament may have been a stepping stone, but tonight… tonight is when I truly reclaim my narrative.
Michael Belfort: Alright then. Thank you for your time Daniella, and good luck.
Daniella Atlas: I don’t need luck, but thank you. Au revoir.
(The two bid farewell, and Daniella carries on with her walk. Just as she’s about to reach the gorilla position though, a faint chuckle emerges. Atlas pauses, keen eyes slitting through various parts of the backstage area to pinpoint the source of the sound.)
???: Quite the speech there, kuroi honō.
(Daniella turns and notices Saori Aizen nearby, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed over her chest. A smirk plays on her lips.)
Saori Aizen: I didn’t know they let you practice your motivational speaking backstage.
(Daniella’s expression shifts, irritation edging into her features as she steps away from the gorilla position, her focus now solely on Saori.)
Daniella Atlas: And here I thought you were too busy nursing your own wounds after losing to Nikki at King of Elite. Good job beating some clueless fool though last week. I’m sure that livened up your spirits.
Saori Aizen: At least I’ve proven I can bounce back from a loss. Meanwhile, we have yet to see if you’re capable of the same thing, and given your opponent for tonight, perhaps it isn’t too far fetched to assume that you may have a little trouble getting over her. :troll:
Daniella Atlas: Tch. You can say whatever, but honestly? What is the point? What are you even doing here, Saori? Waiting for your chance to pounce, or just hoping to catch a glimpse of a real competitor?
(Saori rolls her eyes with an exaggerated sigh, uncrossing her arms and pushing herself off the wall.)
Saori Aizen: Spare me the bravado, Daniella. I’m not here to ‘pounce’ on anyone, least of all you. Though it’s amusing how you think you can intimidate everyone with grand declarations and pretty words.
(Daniella’s jaw tightens slightly at the insult, but she forces a smirk.)
Daniella Atlas: Words can cut deeper than any blow in that ring, Saori. But you’re right about one thing: I’m not out here for theatrics. Tonight is about showing why I’m worthy of standing atop this division, and if that means bashing my way through hungry wolves like Raven and pitiful spectators like you, then so be it.
Saori Aizen: And yet, here you are, talking to me instead of preparing. I’ve seen it too many times; overconfidence leads to downfalls, and trust me, you don’t want to give Raven any more motivation than she already has.
Daniella Atlas: You think I’m worried about Raven? Or you for that matter? I’ve put in the work, and every time I step into that ring, I show off what I can precisely do. I have no concerns over my capabilities. However, as for you… I wonder if you truly believe in yourself. You have guaranteed to be a champion in your own right throughout the season, but here we are with four months left within it, and not a single noteworthy feat can be attached to your name other than a Divide and Conquer win you let go to waste.
(Saori brushes the comment off.)
Saori Aizen: And I’m aware of that, which is why I plan on rectifying it soon enough. Still, there’s not much of a gap between you and me. We both were involved in championship pictures and even participated in the Empress of Elite tournament. The only difference is that I didn’t end up having one of the shortest reigns in the Specialists Championship’s history.
(That’s when Daniella’s voice drops to a low growl.)
Daniella Atlas: You think that affects me? It’s a mere chapter in my story, Saori. I am not defined by one failure, unlike you, who seems to cling to the past for validation.
Saori Aizen: Yet that’s the irony, isn’t it? You’re so focused on proving yourself, yet here you are lashing out because deep down, you know that one misstep could topple your whole narrative. It’s a fragile thing you’ve built for yourself.
(Daniella steps closer, the tension palpable as she inches into Saori’s personal space.)
Daniella Atlas: Fragile? I’ll tell you what’s fragile: your confidence. Behind all that bravado lies fear. Fear of being overshadowed, fear of remaining stagnant while others rise above you. But mark my words, when I dismantle Raven tonight and rise again, I won’t just be proving something to myself; I’ll be sending a message to everyone—including you.
(Saori chuckles softly, an intrigued smile flickering across her face.)
Saori Aizen: A message? Oh, how dramatic! But tell me, Daniella—what happens if that message is lost in translation? What if you crash and burn in front of the entire world? What happens then?
(Daniella pauses for a moment before she answers.)
Daniella Atlas: You needn’t concern yourself with what happens because it simply won’t. I won’t allow it to.
(Saori tilts her head slightly, studying Daniella with an unreadable expression. For a moment, the tension lingers, but then—unexpectedly—her smirk softens into something more akin to understanding.)
Saori Aizen: You know… I almost believe you. That stubborn fire, that refusal to accept anything less than your vision of success—I see it. Because it’s the same thing I see when I look in the mirror.
(Daniella’s brows knit together slightly, wary of the sudden shift in tone.)
Daniella Atlas: I doubt we have anything in common.
Saori Aizen: Do you? Then tell me, how different are we really? Both of us clawing our way toward something bigger, both refusing to be reduced to footnotes in someone else’s story. We speak of dominance, of proving our worth every time we step into that ring. But beneath it all… we’re just two women who can’t stand the idea of being forgotten.
(Daniella crosses her arms, lips pressing into a thin line. The words, annoyingly enough, strike a chord.)
Daniella Atlas: …I don’t fear being forgotten.
Saori Aizen: No? Then why do you fight so hard to be remembered?
(A brief silence passes between them, neither willing to look away. Daniella exhales sharply, shaking her head.)
Daniella Atlas: If you’re looking for some sort of kinship, don’t bother. You may think we’re alike, but there’s a difference between us.
Saori Aizen: Oh? Enlighten me.
(Daniella steps even closer, her voice measured but firm.)
Daniella Atlas: I don’t just talk about my ascent. I make it happen. I don’t wallow in what could have been, I ensure my name is etched in history. You may see a mirror image when you look at me, Saori, but I don’t. Because when all is said and done, I will have built an empire while you are still searching for your foundation.
(Saori chuckles again, but there’s no malice in it this time—just a quiet amusement, maybe even a flicker of respect.)
Saori Aizen: So you say, but I think you know it too, and that is why you try to have this revulsion towards me. It’s not genuine. You don’t like the fact that someone you despise is similar to you in any way, shape, or form because if you did, you’d have to accept that we’re walking the same path… even if we take different steps.
(Daniella stands there, silent. Her gaze lingers on Saori, sharp yet contemplative, the weight of the words settling in. Her fingers twitch slightly at her sides as if resisting the urge to clench into fists. A long moment passes before she exhales, her lips curling into something that isn’t quite a smirk, but not entirely dismissive either.)
Daniella Atlas: I suppose we are two peas of the same pod… who would’ve thought, hm?
(Her tone isn’t biting, nor is it entirely accepting. It’s something in between, a quiet acknowledgment of the uncomfortable truth that lingers between them. Saori tilts her head slightly, watching Daniella with that ever-present, almost smug satisfaction, as if she knew she’d get under her skin eventually.)
(Just then, a production assistant steps into the frame, headset in place, clipboard in hand.)
Production Assistant: Daniella, you’re up.
(Daniella doesn’t immediately move. Instead, she keeps her eyes on Saori for a second longer, as if trying to determine whether she truly detests this moment or if, deep down, she finds a strange sort of understanding in it. Then, with a slow exhale, she rolls her shoulders back and turns away. She strides off towards the curtain without another glance, her purpose clear. Saori, left standing in the dimly lit backstage area, watches her go with an amused smirk, before the shot leaves her, and we transition over to ringside where Stephie Love can be seen in the ring, ready to call the next match.)
(‘Vortex’ by Jinjer begins to sound through the speakers as the crowd gives a mixed ovation for Daniella Atlas, who comes out, looking lazer-focused. She poses on top of the ramp before making her way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL –
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!!
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST…FROM DUNKIRK, FRANCE… SHE IS ‘THE BLACK FLAME’…DANIELLA ATLAS!!!!!
Stew-O: At King of Elite, Daniella Atlas fell short in winning the Empress of Elite tournament, which was won by Bea Valentine! Daniella was looking at this tournament as a way to bounce back from her Specialists Championship loss, but things didn’t go according to plan! But, Daniella is confident that the trajectory of her career is only going to go up from here!
Flannery McCoy: And, it seems like it didn’t stop Daniella Atlas or knock her confidence down whatsoever! Last week on Dynasty, Daniella would confront Rex McAllister and Raven Roberts’ interview. Daniela ran down both Rex and Raven, accusing them of still fighting ghosts of what they used to be.
Jake Mercer: Daniella Atlas is a future World Champion! She is on her way of being the future of EAW! This little altercation would end with Rex and Raven setting up a potential future match and asking for Daniella to get a partner! Now, is Daniella going to find a partner? That is my question!
Stew-O: We’ll see, Jake! I wouldn’t be shocked if they revealed themselves tonight!
(‘Ghost Myself’ by DIAMANTE begins to blare through the speakers of the Nationwide Arena. The crowd pops as Raven Roberts comes out from the back. She does her pose on top of the ramp before making her way down the ramp, tagging a few hands of the fans on the front row on her way down.)
Stephie Love: AND…INTRODUCING HER OPPONENT…FROM ATLANTA, GEORGIA…SHE IS ‘THE BIRD OF PREY’…RAVEN ROBERTS!!!!!!
Stew-O: Now, here is the woman who gave Milli Banks a run for her money at King of Elite! A sure fire Match of the Year contenter match! A wonderful performance from Raven Roberts, who looks more inspired than dejected from the loss!
Flannery McCoy: It proved some people wrong! They may have thought that Raven Roberts wouldn’t be able to pull out a performance that she did! But, one of Raven’s best matches since returning! I almost thought that she was going to get the job done, but it took one of Milli Banks’ new finishers to put her down!
Jake Mercer: Now, it seems like Raven Roberts is in the crosshairs of Daniella Atlas! Both of them are dealing with some big losses of their own! This match is a wonderful opportunity to bounce back and rebuild themselves as we head towards Pain for Pride season! This is going to be an interesting matchup for sure!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: Right from the get go, both Raven Roberts and Daniella Atlas lock up! But, there is a struggle to back the other up to the ropes! But, Daniella manages to move Raven to the side and applies a side headlock! Raven manages to slide out of the headlock from behind! She manages to grab that same arm that she escaped and apply wrist lock from behind! She transitions that to an arm grapevine as that takes Daniella to the front! Raven goes to connect with a snapmare, BUT DANIELLA MANAGES TO KEEP HER FEET PLANTED FIRMLY TO THE GROUND! INSTEAD, IT’S DANIELLA THAT MANAGES TO LIFT RAVEN UP WITH A FIREMAN’S CARRY POSITION!
Flannery McCoy: BUT, RAVEN ROBERTS MANAGES TO SLIDE BEHIND DANIELLA ATLAS BEFORE DANIELLA COULD GET HERSELF – AND RAVEN – UP TO HER FEET! SHE MANAGES TO CATCH DANIELLA WITH A CHOKEHOLD FROM BEHIND! YOU COULD SEE A SLIGHT PANIC ON THE LOOK OF THE FORMER SPECIALISTS CHAMPION’S FACE! IMAGINE, IF RAVEN ROBERTS WOULD HAVE HAD THAT CHOKEHOLD SECURED?
Jake Mercer: But, she didn’t, Flann! Daniella Atlas manages to create some distance between her and ‘The Bird of Prey!’ Raven with a slight smirk on her face, knowing that she almost had Daniella in that chokehold! Almost like that caused Daniella to be alarmed there for a second! Daniella slowly goes right back into a lock up with Raven! But, Daniella manages to goad the former World Champion waistlock! She goes to lift Raven up with a suplex! But, Raven manages to keep her feet planted on the mat! Raven is looking to get Daniella’s hands off her waist!
Stew-O: Daniella Atlas proceeds to lift up Raven Roberts a bit! But, Raven manages to drop herself down and manages to hook one of Daniella’s arms and send her forward with a hip toss! Daniella is sent to a seated position as Raven manages to step on the spine of Daniella as she runs to the ropes, rebounding off of them and connecting with a basement dropkick to Daniella’s face as that takes her down! Raven races for the cover!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
TT–
Flannery McCoy: Daniella Atlas with a kick out! Raven Roberts gets Daniella up to her feet and connects with a knee to the gut of ‘The Black Flame!’ Raven pulls her closer into a front headlock, draping Daniella’s arm behind her neck before taking her back with a suplex! NO! DANIELLA MANAGES TO LAND ON HER FEET! RAVEN SWINGS AROUND AS SHE LOOKS TO CONNECT WITH A FOREARM TO THE FACE! BUT, DANIELLA MANAGES TO PICK UP, LOOKING FOR A BACK SUPLEX! BUT, RAVEN MANAGES TO FLIP BEHIND DANIELLA! RAVEN CONNECTS WITH A CLOTHESLINE THAT TAKES DANIELLA DOWN!
Jake Mercer: Raven Roberts is gesturing for Daniella Atlas to get back to her feet! Raven is more than ready for this fight from the former Specialists Champion! Daniella begins to crawl to her feet as she slowly clutches to the ropes! As she makes her way up to her feet, Raven connects with a knee that takes Daniella down to a knee! THEN, RAVEN MANAGES TO PULL DANIELLA INTO A FRONT HEADLOCK BEFORE DRAPING DANIELLA’S ARM BEHIND HER NECK AND TAKING HER BACK WITH A SNAP SUPLEX! RAVEN FLOATS OVER BEFORE GOING FOR ANOTHER PIN FALL ATTEMPT!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTT–
Stew-O: Daniella Atlas manages to SHOVE Raven Roberts off her! She tries to get to her feet, BUT RAVEN MANAGES TO SPRINGBOARD OFF THE ROPES AND CONNECT WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK THAT KNOCKS DANIELLA BACK TO HER KNEES! THEN, RAVEN RUNS TOWARDS DANIELLA TAKING HER DOWN WITH A RUNNING FLATLINER! NOW, WE SEE RAVEN TAKING POSSESSION OF DANIELLA’S RIGHT ARM BEFORE QUICKLY APPLYING THE FIJIWARA ARM BAR! RAVEN CALLS THAT ‘WING BREAKER’ AS SHE LOOKS TO DISLOCATE DANIELLA’S ARM!
Flannery McCoy: Is there a bit of fear in the eyes of Daniella Atlas?
Jake Mercer: Daniella Atlas scared, Flann? You gotta be kidding me! She is thinking of her next move! But, Raven is wrenching that arm back! Slowly, we see Daniella trying to get herself into a crawling position! Still, we see that Raven has possession of the arm! BUT, DANIELLA IS USING HER LEFT ARM, TRYING TO REACH OVER TO RAVEN ROBERTS’ HAIR! SHE IS YANKING ON THE HAIR OF THE FORMER UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPION! There, she manages to get a little more freedom to get herself to her feet! Daniella begins to pick herself up to her feet as she manages to rearrange Raven, placing her on top of her shoulders!
Stew-O: Daniella Atlas is applying a torture rack on ‘The Bird of Prey!’ And now, we see Daniella showboating a bit, letting everyone know who the strongest woman in this match is! She is moving Raven up and down! She goes from the torture rack to a reverse death valley driver as Raven falls face first! I think it’s been a while since I’ve seen Raven being woman-handled like that! Especially, with someone as strong as Daniella Atlas!
Flannery McCoy: Both women are going to need to hit each other as hard as possible! Both are on the taller side! Both are strong, so it’s going to require a lot more to take the other down! DANIELLA ATLAS MANAGES TO PICK UP RAVEN ROBERTS AND APPLY SOME CRAVATE KNEE STRIKES TO RAVEN’S SKULL! OVER AND OVER AGAIN, DANIELLA IS NOT HOLDING BACK WITH THOSE KNEE STRIKES! THOSE LOOK BRUTAL AS HELL! Then, Daniella manages to pick up Raven before connecting with a deadlift belly-to-back suplex to the corner! Raven manages to hold onto the ropes on each side of her! Daniella charges towards the former World Champion as she follows that up with a running uppercut! This causes Raven to collapse to a seated position, but Daniella stands up Raven straight before connecting with a stiff knife edge chop to the chest!
Jake Mercer: I believe that Raven Roberts felt those chops, guy! Daniella Atlas stands up Raven once more before connecting with a second knife edge chop! Raven sits on the middle rope as she holds her chest! I’m pretty sure by the end of the match, those welts are going to appear! Daniella goes for a third knife edge chop – BUT RAVEN MANAGES TO GRAB ONTO THE WRIST OF ‘THE BLACK FLAME!’ YOU CAN SEE A BIT OF REGRET IN THE EYES OF DANIELLA! BUT, RAVEN PULLS DANIELLA IN FOR A SHORT-ARMED CLOTHESLINE THAT TAKES HER TO THE GROUND! BUT, RAVEN IS NOT LETTING GO OF THAT ARM!
Stew-O: Oh boy! Raven Roberts manages to flip Daniella Atlas with a judo throw! But, Raven still has that arm! She connects with another judo throw! She forces Daniella up to her feet before connecting with a forearm to the face! That knocks her down to a knee! But, Raven manages to get her into position before connecting with a Northern lights suplex as she applies a beautiful bridge!
OOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTWWWWW–
Flannery McCoy: Daniella Atlas manages to bridge herself out! She twists herself around before kicking Raven Roberts in the stomach and taking her down with a snap DDT! Raven lands right on top of her head! Daniella manages to pick up Raven! She has her in position for ‘The Memory Room’ – her variation of a swinging reverse STO! BUT, RAVEN MANAGES TO TWIST HERSELF OUT OF THE MOVE! SHE CONNECTS WITH THE SPINNING HEEL KICK TO DANIELLA’S FACE! ‘FACELIFT’ – BUT DANIELLA MANAGES TO DUCK! RAVEN STUMBLES FORWARD AS DANIELLA WRAPS HER ARMS AROUND RAVEN’S WAIST BEFORE TAKING HER BACK WITH A DEADLIFT GERMAN SUPLEX! RAVEN TRIES HER BEST TO LAND ON HER KNEES, BUT SHE ENDS UP FALLING BACK IN RESPONSE!
Jake Mercer: DANIELLA ATLAS PICKS UP RAVEN ROBERTS BY HER HAIR! DANIELLA CONNECTS WITH A BIEL THAT SENDS RAVEN ACROSS THE RING! RAVEN SEEMS TO BE A BIT DIZZY AS SHE CLUTCHES ONTO THE ROPES AS THAT ASSISTS HER UP TO HER FEET! BUT, DANIELLA RUNS RIGHT AFTER HER AND CONNECTS WITH A BIG BOOT THAT TAKES THE FORMER WORLD CHAMPION TO HER BACK! Daniella manages to get Raven back up to her feet! She gets Raven into a powerbomb position! She holds her up! But, Raven begins to punch the top of Daniella’s head! Raven’s punches become more frantic as she knows the type of trouble that she’s in! Daniella powerbombs Raven onto the turnbuckle –
Stew-O: But, SOMEHOW, Raven Roberts landed on the top turnbuckle! Raven is a bit on the taller side, so she had no issue with making that jump and making sure that she landed on the turnbuckle! Daniella goes right after Raven, not wanting to waste any time! BUT, RAVEN MANAGES TO GET HER FOOT UP AND KICK DANIELLA AWAY FROM HER! SHE BEGINS TO POSITION HERSELF ON THE TOP TURNBUCKLE AS DANIELLA GOES RIGHT AFTER HER, BUT RAVEN BEATS HER TO THE PUNCH AS SHE MANAGES TO LAUNCH HERSELF FROM THE TOP ROPE WITH A MISSILE DROPKICK! IT LANDS RIGHT AT THE SKULL OF DANIELLA AS THAT TAKES HER DOWN!
Flannery McCoy: Raven Roberts finds herself to her feet as she begins to back away to the corner! I think that Raven is looking for ‘Talon!’ That claymore/sick kick/single-leg dropkick variation! Whatever you liked to call it! She is waiting for Daniella to begin to rise to her feet as RAVEN CHARGES RIGHT AFTER HER – ‘TALON!’
Jake Mercer: NO! DANIELLA ATLAS MANAGES TO ROLL OUT OF THE RING RIGHT BEFORE RAVEN ROBERTS COULD CONNECT WITH THAT ‘TALON!’ DANIELLA BEGINS TO LAUGH! RAVEN SEEMS TO BE A BIT IRRITATED, BUT SHE KNOWS THAT SHE CANNOT WASTE ANY TIME! SHE REBOUNDS OFF THE SET OF ROPES BEHIND HER AND LAUNCHES HERSELF THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE TO CONNECT WITH A ‘FLYING DESTROYER’ – THE SUICIDE DIVE INTO A CANADIAN DESTROYER AS SHE SENDS DANIELLA TO THE FRONT OF OUR TABLE!
Stew-O: Raven Roberts is hyping up this crowd! Then, she turns her attention back to Daniella Atlas before connecting with a biel! She flings the former Specialists Champion across ringside! Daniella uses the barricade to help her back to her feet as Raven charges right after her, nailing her with a nasty big boot as that takes her almost over the barricade! But, Daniella manages to place her feet down! She uses the barricade to hold her arms as Raven connects with a giant knee strike underneath the chin of Daniella! THEN, SHE MANAGES TO GET DANIELLA AND GET HER IN A POWERBOMB POSITION! DANIELLA IS SHAKING HER HEAD NO AS RAVEN MANAGES TO CONNECT WITH A POWERBOMB ON THE EDGE OF THE APRON! DANIELLA BEGINS TO HOLD ONTO HER LOWER BACK IN PAIN!
Flannery McCoy: Raven Roberts looks to get Daniella Atlas by her hair! But, Daniella manages to shove Raven back! But, Raven goes back to her with a forearm! But, but Daniella manages to connect with a flatliner as Raven’s face collides with the edge of the apron! Then, she picks up Raven and throws her back-first against the barricade! Daniella begins to connect with a series of punches to the forehead of ‘The Bird of Prey!’ BUT, RAVEN IS HOLDING HER OWN! SHE IS YELLING FOR DANIELLA TO PUNCH HER HARDER! THERE IS NO FEAR IN THE EYES OF THE FORMER UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPION! RAVEN WANTS DANIELLA TO HIT HER AS HARD AS POSSIBLE!
Jake Mercer: I think that might be a mistake from Raven Roberts, Flannery! DANIELLA ATLAS MANAGES TO NAIL RAVEN WITH A LIVER PUNCH! THEN, SHE CONNECTS WITH A SERIES OF CRAVATE KNEE STRIKES TO THE SKULL OF THE FORMER WORLD CHAMPION! She throws Raven underneath the bottom rope as she rolls back inside the ring! Then, Daniella rolls back into the ring as well! She begins to stalk Raven up to her feet before connecting with a spinning back elbow as that takes Raven to the ground! Now, we see Daniella picking up Raven before raising her up and taking her down with an ‘Animus’ – the niagara driver takes down Raven as Daniella goes for the cover!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Stew-O: Raven Roberts with a kick out! Daniella Atlas begins to throw some punches to the face of Raven! Then, she gets Raven up by her hair! Daniella begins to pick up Raven for ‘South of Heaven’ – the pumphandle drop! She twists Raven up from a horizontal position! BUT, RAVEN MANAGES TO SLIDE OFF FROM BEHIND! SHE MANAGES TO PUSH DANIELLA INTO THE HORIZONTAL SET OF ROPES AND ROLL HER UP! O’CONNOR WITH A BRIDGE! IS RAVEN GOING TO SNEAK AWAY WITH THE VICTORY HERE?!?
OOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella Atlas manages to get herself out of the roll up attempt! Raven Roberts finds herself to her feet! Daniella follows shortly after! Raven goes right after her with a forearm! BUT, DANIELLA MANAGES TO CATCH THAT ARM! SHE HAS HER IN POSITION FOR ‘THE MEMORY ROOM!’ BUT, RAVEN MANAGES TO JUMP TO THE SIDE AS SHE NAILS DANIELLA WITH A SUPERKICK THAT SENDS HER BACK! STILL, THAT DOESN’T SEEM TO KEEP DANIELLA DOWN FOR LONG AS SHE GOES RIGHT AFTER RAVEN, BUT RAVEN CONNECTS WITH THE ‘HUNTRESS BOMB’ – THE SITOUT SPINEBUSTER AS RAVEN HOLDS DANIELLA THERE FOR THE COVER?!?!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: Daniella Atlas with a kick out! But, Raven Roberts knows exactly what she needs to do now! She begins to rise up to her feet! She is gesturing for Daniella to get up! Daniella manages to get up shortly after as she turns herself around! Raven charges right at her – ‘TALON!’
Stew-O: BUT, DANIELLA ATLAS MANAGES TO COUNTER WITH ‘THE MEMORY ROOM’ AS THAT TAKES DOWN RAVEN ROBERTS! AND, IT SEEMS LIKE DANIELLA IS NOT DONE HERE! SHE BEGINS TO PICK UP RAVEN ROBERTS! I THINK THAT SHE’S LOOKING FOR ‘SOUTH OF HEAVEN’ AGAIN! WILL IT CONNECT THIS TIME AROUND?!?
Flannery McCoy: No! Raven Roberts manages to drop down before Daniella Atlas could pick her up with the move! I’m not sure if it’s luck on Raven’s part or Daniella didn’t have a tight enough grip, but Daniella looks to pick up Raven once more! But, Raven manages to connect with a jawbreaker as that takes the former Specialists Champion back once more! BUT, IT DOESN’T KEEP DANIELLA DOWN FOR LONG! RAVEN GOES RIGHT AFTER ‘THE BLACK FLAME!’ SHE CONNECTS WITH THE ‘BEAK BREAKER’ – A GORGEOUS TILT-A-WHIRL STUNNER THAT TAKES DANIELLA DOWN! THIS COULD ONLY MEAN THE BEGINNING OF THE END FOR DANIELLA!
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: What in the world is Saori Aizen doing out here?!?!
(The camera pans to the reason for all the booing. Saori Aizen is walking down the ramp. It’s unclear the motivation for why Saori is out here. But, the crowd is not liking it, especially, when it seems like Raven Roberts is seconds away from putting away Daniella Atlas.)
Flannery McCoy: This is an interesting turn of events as Raven Roberts is staring at Saori Aizen! I think that she’s confused over why Saori is at ringside! Still, she does her best not to let the situation phase her as she begins to back away! I think that we’re going to be seeing ‘Talon’ from Raven! SHE TURNS HER ATTENTION BACK TO DANIELLA ATLAS! SHE CHARGES RIGHT AT DANIELLA – ‘TALON!!!!!!’
JAKE MERCER: BUT, DANIELLA ATLAS MANAGES TO SLIDE OUT OF THE WAY, MAKING RAVEN ROBERTS SLIDE PAST HER JUST A BIT! RAVEN MANAGES TO CATCH HERSELF BEFORE SLIDING AND FALLING IN THE PROCESS! ‘BLACK DEATH’ – THE DISCUSS ELBOW THAT NAILS RAVEN ROBERTS IN THE BACK OF HER HEAD AS THAT KNOCKS RAVEN DOWN! DANIELLA GOES FOR THE COVER! IS THIS GOING TO BE IT HERE??!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Vortex’ plays once more as Daniella Atlas finds her way up to her feet. She looks at Saori Aizen who appears to be nonchalant about the situation. Daniella is clearly confused and not pleased at all with how this match went down.)
Stephie Love: THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH…DANIELLA ATLAS!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Daniella Atlas manages to get the win, but she is clearly not pleased with how this match went down!
Flannery McCoy: Can you blame her, Stew? Saori Aizen decided to make her presence felt in this match! While she didn’t get physically involved, she caught Raven Roberts by surprise!
(The camera pans to Rex McAllister who comes out to check on Raven Roberts, who is more than annoyed about how this match went down. In her heart, Raven knew that she had the match in the bag. She needed to connect with ‘Talon’ to put down the woman who has made herself a force to be reckoned with on the Dynasty brand. Raven is holding the back of her head as she looks at Saori Aizen at ringside.)
Jake Mercer: Raven Roberts is clearly unhappy herself! Who could blame her honestly? I don’t think that it was the brightest thing for Saori to come out here. What was the reason for coming out here? Did have to do with that conversation with Daniella a while back??
Stew-O: Whatever reason it was, she may have created a couple of enemies here tonight!
(The final shot shows Daniella and Raven in their own right watching Saori walking away nonchalantly before Dynasty fades to commercials.)
(A commercial plays for ‘GOAT’, an upcoming animation film being produced by Stephen Curry. Yes, it’s real. Will be out in theaters sometime in 2026.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns as the camera transitions to a shot of the Nationwide Arena as the crowd murmurs in anticipation for what is to come in an already jam-packed Friday Night Dynasty show so far. It’s not long before ‘Dragonborn’ by Jeremy Soule begins to blast through the speakers of the arena. It elicits a thunderous reaction as the shot goes over to the stage to reveal Brian Daniels as he’s seen making his way out from the backstage area. He has his arms spread out with a smile on his face as he embraces the reaction that he’s getting here tonight in Ohio before then beginning to make his way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… BRIAN DANIELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Well this is the first time that we’ve seen Brian Daniels since King of Elite, where he fought in a one-on-one match between someone who he has a lot of history with in the form of Cy Henderson. Although he put up one hell of a fight, and both of them had a match to remember, when it came down to it, it was Cy who came out with his hand raised in victory. After a week’s break though it seems that Brian has made his reappearance here tonight in Elite Answers Wrestling, seeming far from done.
Flannery McCoy: Despite everything if there’s one thing that Brian has proven it’s that he can still hang with the best that this company has to offer. Being on the Friday Night Dynasty brand opens a lot of opportunities for him and I’m sure that he’s going to make the best of it. Where’s the direction that he’s going to go in particular? That’s something that remains to be seen. Right now he makes his way down to the ring to give his thoughts and who knows what’s going to come out of it as we’re on the road to Operation: Doomsday.
Jake Mercer: Brian can’t leave! He’s got a legacy to create! If Cy Henderson can get a career resurgence then let me just say right now that is not out of the realm of possibility for Brian as well. I believe in him! I believe in Brian Daniels!
(Brian makes his way up the steps and onto the apron as he enters into the ring. He makes his way over and grabs a microphone from the ringside area while ‘Dragonborn’ then begins to fade out. Making his way toward the center of the ring, Brian takes a moment before then raising his microphone and beginning to speak.)
Brian Daniels: Let’s talk about it, shall we? King of Elite didn’t go the way that I wanted it to. My first Marquee Event match since my return, the biggest test that I’ve had in my recent tenure with Elite Answers Wrestling, stepping into the ring with Cy Henderson, a man I once called my brother. I fought like hell, and for the first time in a long time I can truly stand here and say that I gave it my all, I gave everything that I possibly could to come out with my hand raised in victory, but when it was all said and done? It ended up being the other way around. Cy did enough to keep me down, and you know what? That’s completely fine. That’s the game that we play, that’s the sport that I live and breathe for, and do you want me to be honest? When it comes to Cy that night, maybe, just maybe, I saw a glimpse of the man that I once believed in. I could stand here and be bitter that I was wrong about what was going to occur. I could say that he got lucky, that he didn’t beat me at my best, that he escaped by the skin of his teeth. But that’s not who I am anymore, that’s not what this is about. If anything, I’ve got enough respect left for Cy to say that if he keeps his head on straight, if he finally lets go of whatever resentment is eating him alive, there’s a future for him here, a bright one. But this? This isn’t about him, right now, we’re here to talk about me.
(Brian pauses for a moment, beginning to pace around the ring as he looks around at the electric crowd in attendance tonight. After some time, he raises his microphone and continues to speak.)
Brian Daniels: You see, I remember the last time I was in this kind of situation. When I lost, when I felt that same sting of defeat when the doubt started creeping in, and what did I do? I walked away. I told the world that my match with Drake King was my last, and for a long time, I believed that. I took my ball and I went home, and I know that there are plenty of people in the back, maybe even some of you out here tonight, who think that’s exactly what I’m going to do again. They think that I’ll take this loss as an excuse to fade away, to let my legacy be a distant memory. But I’m here to tell you right now, loud and clear… I am better than that.
Brian Daniels: I know what I’m capable of, I know that I can still be the best wrestler on this roster, and yeah, maybe I didn’t get the chance to prove that at King of Elite. Maybe I didn’t walk out of that match with my hand raised, but that doesn’t mean I stopped fighting. That doesn’t mean I stop proving myself. Operation: Doomsday is right around the corner and I’ll be damned if I’m left out of that while everyone else gets their moment of glory this season. I’m going to not only stamp my ticket there, but to Pain For Pride, and I swear to God that I am going to be there one way or another. So let’s get this out of the way now, I am issuing a challenge to ANYONE who decides that they want to try and make a quick buck off of me at the Marquee Event, because I promise that you’re going to get more than what you bargained for. I know Dynasty has some of the hungriest, most competitive talent in all of Elite Answers Wrestling, and there is at least one person out there who’s going to decide to rear their head and pick a fight with me. So c’mon!
(The crowd erupts as Brian puts out the challenge for anyone to step up and face him in a match. And he doesn’t have to wait very long before he gets what he wants… as ‘Lacrimosa [EPIC REMIX]’ by Samuel Kim begins to play through the speakers of the arena, eliciting a mixed reaction from the crowd as it does.)
Stew-O: Well it seems like Brian has gotten his answer and it’s certainly not one that he could’ve anticipated! Former Interwire Champion Vincent Mondrian is making his way out to the ring and it seems like he’s confronting Brian Daniels with a purpose!
(The camera goes over to show a fierce-looking Vincent Mondrian making his way out from the backstage area. Particularly soured by the events of last week, he takes a good look around before then beginning to storm down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Flannery McCoy: Last week Vincent stepped into the ring with Clayton Golde and Cosmo Goldworthy to settle his issues with the two of them, and although he didn’t come out on top, it seems like he walked out of that one more motivated than ever to break the stigma surrounding him as of late. I don’t see a better way than getting a victory over a talent the caliber of Brian Daniels at an event like Operation: Doomsday.
Jake Mercer: Big Vincent has had one hell of a cold streak, but we’ve seen this before with disgraced Champions desperate to get back on the rebound, We know just how dangerous they can be! It’ll be interesting to see what he’s going to bring to the table.
(Vincent makes his way up the steps and onto the apron before entering into the ring. He makes his way over and snatches a microphone from the ringside area. ‘Lacrimosa [EPIC REMIX]’ then begins to fade out as he approaches Brian, a serious expression on his face before beginning to speak.)
Vincent Mondrian: I’m sick, and I’m tired. I’m going to get my way and redeem myself, and it’s going to come at your expense.
(The crowd roars at the determination being shown by Vincent, Brian looks quite amused as he crosses his arms, allowing him to speak.)
Vincent Mondrian: I’m next, and I’ll see you at Operation: Doomsday.
(Vincent slams his microphone down to the ground before turning around and making his way out of the ring. ‘Lacrimosa [EPIC REMIX]’ then begins to play through the speakers again as the crowd continues to roar at the confirmation of a match for the Marquee Event. Brian Daniels watches him from the inside of the ring, nodding his head with a smirk on his face as it’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty then begins to fade out.)
(A commercial plays for the NBA All-Star game, featuring Bronson Daniels and Hans Grayson recreating the iconic LeBron and Wade picture.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns with Stephie Love ready to announce the next match of the evening.)
Stephie Love: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Sinister Purpose’ by Creedence Clearwater Revival began blaring through the speakers to loud cheers from the EAW audience as Kirk Redwood slowly marched out onto the stage, shadow boxing as he did. With gritted teeth, Kirk slaps himself across the face and shakes his head, narrowing his eyes towards the ring before beginning to storm down towards it.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST! Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, weighing in at 210 pounds… he is the ‘DOG OF WAR’, KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRK! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEDWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!
Stew-O: A focused Kirk Redwood enters the fray tonight against perhaps one of the toughest challenges he’s had to face in his career! After being defeated at the semi finals of the King of Elite tournament, in which he managed to acquire a very impressive victory over then-New Breed Champion BRAE, he was left off the King of Elite show and bided his time.
Flannery McCoy: You can’t say that he was deterred, though, because the very week after King of Elite took place, Kirk Redwood bounced back with a victory against the New Breed, Jordan Perkins! Despite all the trash that Jordan talked last week, Kirk gave him a violent introduction to EAW with a dominant victory!
Jake Mercer: He looks to continue that momentum as we head from King of Elite season to Operation Doomsday season against the current contender for Dynasty’s World Heavyweight Champion, the Black Rose herself!
(“Blood, Milk & Sky” by White Zombie began blaring through the speakers to loud cheers as Minerva sauntered out from behind the stage curtains with a spotlight upon her. With chain and rose in hand, she takes the rose in her mouth and makes her way down the ramp, an intense look in her eyes as she heads towards the squared circle.)
Stephie Love: AND HIS OPPONENT! Hailing from Bucharest, Romania, weighing in at 122 pounds… she is THE ‘BLACK ROSE’, MIIIIIIINEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Stew-O: And here is the World Heavyweight Championship contender in question! After traveling to hell and back going up against a devil that calls himself a God, Minerva has finally emerged triumphant from the infernal fires like a phoenix rising up!
Flannery McCoy: Nobody can say that Minerva hasn’t earned her way to this upcoming World Heavyweight Championship shot after all she’s been through this season, but now she looks to finally make her way back to the status of a world champion after losing it at Pain for Pride Kingdom, by going up against the man who defeated her husband no less!
Jake Mercer: There’s no doubt that Joso will be watching this match to scout out one of the most dangerous opponents he’ll ever have to face, so I think that Minerva is looking to show the champ exactly what he’s in for at Operation: Doomsday!
Stew-O: A determined Minerva looking to create momentum towards a title win against a hungry Kirk Redwood looking to complete the labor of love for his family; both sides want to win more than anything, but only one will be able to come out with the victory!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: And the match is underway! Kirk Redwood against Minerva, the Dog of War against the Black Rose! Both wrestlers exit their respective corners, with Kirk Redwood adopting a quicker and more aggressive stride as they begin circling the ring!
Flannery McCoy: Kirk Redwood knows exactly how important this match could be for his career, especially considering how prestigious of a wrestler that Minerva is! The longest undefeated streak in Pain for Pride history until it was broken only last year, multiple time world champion, hall of famer, the list goes on! If he’s able to seize victory here, it could skyrocket his career!
Jake Mercer: But he also knows just how hard it is to put a woman like Minerva down, so he’ll have to give it everything he’s got here tonight!
Stew-O: They get closer and closer to each other until Kirk Redwood lunges forward, latching on with a collar and elbow tie up! But Minerva predicted it and shifted underneath to apply a rear waist lock immediately! Look at the swiftness on display!
Flannery McCoy: She looks to arch back for a German suplex, but Kirk Redwood launches a quick back elbow to stop her before she can execute it! Another back elbow from the Dog of War prevents Minerva from following through and also opens her up to more offense by Kirk Redwood, which he eagerly accepts!
Jake Mercer: Kirk Redwood throws her down to a seated position in front of him with a classic snapmare before wrapping his right arm around her throat and latching on a sleeper hold, looking to sap the Black Rose of her energy early on here by cutting off the oxygen to her brain!
Stew-O: Minerva is no stranger to tactics like this, though, and immediately takes action! She does her best to pry Kirk Redwood’s arm away from her throat, but she’s in a disadvantaged position here with the Dog of War behind her with the leverage! That doesn’t deter her, though, as she reaches up and grabs Kirk’s head!
Flannery McCoy: She lifts herself out of that seated position by pressing her feet on the canvas and using Kirk’s head as a grappling point before suddenly dropping herself back down, performing a makeshift jawbreaker on Kirk by dropping his head onto her shoulder as she fell!
Jake Mercer: That was unexpected enough to cause Kirk to let go as he staggers back, clutching at the bottom of his jaw in pain! Minerva slides herself around like a swivel to face Kirk Redwood in a crouched position before rushing forward, launching both feet forward with a baseball slide dropkick to the right shin of Kirk to a kneeling position!
Stew-O: And that baseball slide dropkick gets her behind Kirk Redwood as well, a masterful technique by the crafty veteran in Minerva! She doesn’t let this opportunity go to waste as she scrambles up and launches herself at the back of Kirk Redwood before he can get up!
Flannery McCoy: She uses all of her body weight to topple Kirk Redwood face-first down to the canvas in an almost reverse Thesz Press, resulting in her getting in a mounted position upon the back of the Dog of War!
Jake Mercer: She’s got him pinned down, not with the shoulders against the canvas, but I don’t think she’s looking for a pin just yet! Instead, from this mounted position, she begins clobbering the back of Kirk Redwood’s head and neck with closed fist punches, and he’s not even able to bring his arms up effectively to guard because he’s face-down on the canvas!
Stew-O: All he can do is reach back and cover his head to add some padding in the form of his hands, but I don’t think it’s going to be too much better when he ends up with swollen hands after the severe beating that the ferocious Minerva is bringing down!
Flannery McCoy: Kirk Redwood begins doing everything he can to resist, though, as he flails himself left and right to knock Minerva off balance! This is enough to get Minerva to stop with the punches just to try to regain her balance, but Kirk is moving too erratically, causing the Black Rose to fall off the back of the Dog of War!
Jake Mercer: Kirk Redwood rises with an irate expression on his face as he now launches himself on top of Minerva, who fell back-first into the canvas, and now HE’S beating the living hell out of her with his classic brutal brawling style from a mounted position of his own!
Stew-O: This mount may not be as dangerous to be in as the one Minerva was, considering how the Black Rose can actually guard her face, but that didn’t account for just how VICIOUS Kirk Redwood can be! Even with her guard up, the varied and borderline FERAL offense of the Dog of War is piercing her defenses as he connects with a variety of strikes, including some straight up stiff slaps to the face and head!
Flannery McCoy: He doesn’t give her the opportunity to shake him off and regain the reins of control in this match, though, as he instead opts to voluntarily get off of Minerva and pull her up alongside him by both wrists! He releases the grip on one of the wrists and uses the other to Irish whip her across the ring and into one of the corners, where she lands with her back pressed up against the turnbuckles!
Jake Mercer: Like a wild dog in pursuit, Kirk Redwood launched himself into a sprint the moment he launched Minerva, just a few inches away so that the moment Minerva connected with the corner, Kirk connected with a running knee strike to the head of the Black Rose as well!
Stew-O: And now with the Black Rose cornered, Kirk Redwood unleashes himself, unloading on his adversary with a furious flurry of knife edge chops! There’s nowhere for Minerva to go or hide as Kirk looks to make her chest the same color as her hair!
Flannery McCoy: OH! But Minerva managed to catch that last chop before it could connect, holding his hand by the wrist! She lifts her foot off the canvas and forces Kirk back with a thrust kick of sorts before using her grip on that wrist to yank him back towards her, bringing him in for– OH DAMN!
Jake Mercer: SATAN’S KISS! SHE JUST CONNECTED WITH THAT MONSTROUS HEADBUTT OF HERS OUT OF NOWHERE, STOPPING ALL OF KIRK REDWOOD’S MOMENTUM IN ITS TRACKS! The Dog of War staggers back, completely dazed by the sudden blunt force trauma to the head, but Minerva has trained her head to withstand blows like that!
Stew-O: You’d never use a weapon like Satan’s Kiss unless you knew for sure you could handle the recoil damage, and Minerva managed to turn this situation around in a flash! Still holding that grip on the wrist of the Dog of War, she flips their positions around and shoves Kirk Redwood into the corner before grabbing hold of the top rope!
Flannery McCoy: With her free hand, she arches back before she unleashing an ONSLAUGHT of corner clotheslines, just looking to absolutely BATTER the Dog of War, with some clever targeting of the head after connecting with Satan’s Kiss at that!
Jake Mercer: Even in the heat of battle, Minerva is intelligent enough to use her ring IQ, keeping the pressure high even against a resilient opponent like Kirk Redwood!
Stew-O: She doesn’t keep him there for long, opting to drag him out of the corner and send him running to the ropes with an Irish whip of her own! The moment she sends Kirk Redwood towards the ropes, she herself sprints to the ropes opposite the Dog of War before rebounding! This is going to lead to a collision!
Flannery McCoy: They both run at each other, but Minerva is the one in control here as she reaches forward and forcefully plants Kirk Redwood on the canvas with one of her classic running STO’s! That doesn’t keep the Dog of War down for long, though, as he grits his teeth through the pain and scrambles up as quickly as he can… only for Minerva to put him down with another running STO!
Jake Mercer: Kirk is taking a lot of damage here, but you’re seeing his immense endurance as he keeps on getting back up to his feet even after all of that! Minerva’s offense is as relentless as Kirk’s defense is resilient, though, because she’s always there ready to keep the pedal to the metal!
Stew-O: The moment Kirk gets back to his feet, she catches him by the head and swings both him and herself to point both of their back towards the canvas before she drops, yanking his head and neck down onto the canvas with a swinging neckbreaker! This time, Kirk doesn’t stir, and Minerva immediately takes that as a prompt to slither over and hook his leg for the pin!
ONEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Flannery McCoy: OH! But Kirk Redwood managed to emphatically kick out after the two count, and it looks like he may have been playing possum there! The kick out was strong and erratic enough to launch Minerva up through the force of it, and before she could come back down, Kirk Redwood reached up and caught her arm, looking to trap her in a deadly KIMURA LOCK!
Jake Mercer: Minerva is frantically looking to avoid it, kicking and scrambling to prevent Kirk from completing the lock, and ultimately her efforts are successful! She gets to the ropes!
Stew-O: The referee starts to approach to separate the two, but Kirk doesn’t even give him the chance as he scrambles to his feet and tears Minerva away from the ropes! He pulls Minerva towards the center of the ring and she stumbles towards him, only to be met with a palm strike right to the forehead!
Flannery McCoy: That palm strike causes her to stumble back, leaving her vulnerable for Kirk Redwood to capitalize by connecting with a vicious knee smash to the midsection! The Black Rose doubles over from the pain, which puts her in the perfect position for Kirk Redwood to pull her into a front facelock and arch back, dropping her to the canvas with a sudden snap suplex!
Jake Mercer: He doesn’t release her though, instead twisting himself and bringing both himself and Minerva back to a standing position! He reaches down and grabs her by the waist before arching back once more, this time connecting with a Northern Lights suplex! The momentum right now is clearly on the side of Kirk Redwood, who is showing just how tough of an opponent he is by maintaining this intensity even after all the offense he’s taken from Minerva thus far!
Stew-O: He’s starting to slow down now as he grabs Minerva by the head and drags her back to her feet, once again connecting with a knee smash to the midsection to double her over, before double underhooking both of her arms and looking up to the sky above!
Flannery McCoy: He’s got something dangerous in mind, and I think we know what it is! He hoists her up into the air before DROPPING HER HEADFIRST DOWN TO THE CANVAS! THAT’S THE BRAINDEAD BUSTER, KIRK REDWOOD’S SIGNATURE BUTTERFLY BRAINBUSTER, AND MINERVA MAY BE KNOCKED OUT COLD FROM THAT MOVE!
Jake Mercer: KIRK REDWOOD WASTES NO TIME IN HOOKING HER LEGS FOR THE PIN! HE MAY HAVE THIS!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEE-
Stew-O: BUT MINERVA IS ABLE TO KICK OUT OF IT! THE BLACK ROSE IS STILL IN THE GAME, AND AFTER THE HELLISH MATCH SHE ENDURED AT KING OF ELITE, IT’S STARTING TO SET IN FOR THE DOG OF WAR THAT MINERVA WILL NEED EVERYTHING KIRK’S GOT TO KEEP HER DOWN!
Flannery McCoy: KIRK REDWOOD SLAMS HIS FOREHEAD INTO THE CANVAS, GATHERING HIMSELF AND ALL THE ENERGY HE HAS LEFT TO STAGGER BACK TO HIS FEET AS HE BEGINS MEASURING UP THE BLACK ROSE, READY TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES IN ORDER TO GET THAT THREE COUNT AND CEMENT THIS MATCH AS ONE OF THE BIGGEST VICTORIES OF HIS CAREER!
Jake Mercer: WITH GRITTED TEETH, KIRK REDWOOD CLENCHES HIS FIST AND WAITS FOR MINERVA TO GET UP, HIS EYES FLITTING FROM HER TO THE ROPES AND BACK AS HE CALCULATES EXACTLY WHAT HE NEEDS TO DO!
Stew-O: THE MOMENT MINERVA MAKES IT BACK TO HER FEET, KIRK REDWOOD SPRINGS INTO ACTION AS HE SPRINTS TOWARDS THE ROPES, LEAPING UP WITH SOME INSANE VERTICAL TO LAND WITH HIS FEET ON THE TOP ROPE BEFORE SPRINGBOARDING HIMSELF OFF OF THEM!
Flannery McCoy: HE TWISTS HIMSELF IN MID-AIR TO GET HIS EYES ON MINERVA AS HE AIMS TO KNOCK HER OUT COLD WITH HIS FINISHING MANEUVER, THE .50 CAL, HIS SPRINGBOARD SUPERMAN PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH!
Jake Mercer: THE DEVIL’S TOUCH CONNECTS!
Stew-O: :krabs:
Flannery McCoy: :krabs:
Jake Mercer: OUT OF NOWHERE, MINERVA SOMEHOW MANAGED TO INTERCEPT KIRK REDWOOD’S FINISHER BY CONNECTING WITH HER MONSTROUS SUPERKICK WITH KIRK HURTLING TOWARDS HER IN MID AIR LIKE A DAMN MISSILE!
Stew-O: KIRK’S VELOCITY AND POSITION IN THE AIR MAY HAVE ULTIMATELY BACKFIRED AS THAT DEVIL’S TOUCH LANDED HARDER THAN ANY I’VE EVER SEEN BEFORE, AND KIRK REDWOOD JUST PLUMMETED TO THE CANVAS WITH HIS HEAD BOUNCING OFF THE GROUND! HE MAY BE CONCUSSED!
Flannery McCoy: BUT EVEN AFTER ALL OF THAT, THE BLACK ROSE IS TAKING NO CHANCES AS SHE GRABS KIRK REDWOOD BY THE HEAD AND FORCEFULLY DRAGS HIM UP TO HIS FEET! SHE KNOWS EXACTLY HOW RESILIENT KIRK REDWOOD IS AND IS TAKING THINGS EVEN FURTHER TO KEEP HIM DOWN FOR THE COUNT!
Jake Mercer: SHE GRABS HIS LEG AND FOLDS IT, FISHERMAN STYLE, BEFORE– SHE CONNECTS THE SIREN’S LONELY SONG! THE FISHERMAN’S SNAP DDT CONNECTS, DRIVING KIRK’S HEAD INTO THE CANVAS, AND MINERVA HOOKS HIS LEGS! THE REFEREE SLIDES IN FOR THE COUNT!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(“Blood, Milk & Sky” by White Zombie began blaring through the speakers once again with the audience cheering as Minerva slowly staggers off of Kirk Redwood, exhausted from the match; the referee grabs her wrist and raises her hand up to signify her victory!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… THE ‘BLACK ROSE’ MIIIIIIIIIINEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Stew-O: What an intense battle between Kirk Redwood and Minerva! The Dog of War really brought everything and almost had the match won! If Minerva didn’t snap out of her daze the moment she did in order to connect with that Devil’s Touch, Kirk’s .50 Cal would’ve connected and that very well may have been able to keep Minerva down for the count!
Flannery McCoy: Kirk can take pride in how far he pushed Minerva, but ultimately the victory goes towards Minerva… oh, and LOOK WHO IT IS!
(The video feed shifts to Joso, who walks out onto the stage from behind the stage curtains, a smirk on his face as he gives his future contender some applause for a hard-fought victory.)
Jake Mercer: The World Heavyweight Champion was indeed watching tonight as he got the opportunity to study Minerva’s game here tonight! Minerva looks to see what the commotion is about and locks eyes with the World Heavyweight Champion, staring him down from ring to stage!
Stew-O: This is the match set for Operation: Doomsday, and it’s going to be one of the toughest matches Joso has ever had to endure in his life! The Black Rose against the Star Player for the World Heavyweight Championship, just weeks away! Who is going to leave the marquee event with the gold? These two are going to fight to make that choice!
(The video feed lingers as champion and challenger stare each other down before fading to black.)
(A commercial plays for The Weeknd’s ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’, featuring Xander Payne.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns to show the backstage area of the Nationwide Arena as the camera focuses on backstage correspondent Michael Belfort, who is seen standing by with a microphone in his hand at a designated interview area. After letting the crowd in attendance tonight settle down, he brings his microphone up and begins to speak.)
Michael Belfort: Welcome back to Friday Night Dynasty everyone and what a show it has been! Even though we are on the road to the next Marquee Event we are still feeling the ramifications of King of Elite from two weeks ago. A stellar event from top to bottom, one that saw the conclusion of one of the hottest feuds this season on the Dynasty brand. Drake King and Minerva stepped into battle for the conclusion to their heated trilogy, with them going the distance in a Three Stages of Hell match. With each getting a fall, it came down to the final stipulation, with them combating in Hell in A Cell. When the dust finally settled though, it was Minerva who came out of the wreckage with her hand raised high, putting a definitive end to the man who had been haunting her for years at this point.
Michael Belfort: While we know Minerva’s direction, with her being confirmed to face Joso for the World Heavyweight Championship at Operation: Doomsday thanks to her win at King of Elite, the latter of the two has not been seen since the Marquee Event. Today, for the first time since then, we get to have some words with him. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time… Drake King.
(The crowd boos loudly as the camera pans over, but while it does… nobody is there. The subject of the interview tonight has not even shown up and that leaves Michael Belfort partially confused. After some time though, someone walks in.)
???: I’m afraid that Drake King is unavailable at this time.
Michael Belfort: :comeagain: I was told he was at the arena and ready to speak on the events of King of Elite, what happened with that?
???: That was a lie. He is not here tonight, he was never here, and he will not be here. Any questions can be directed toward me.
Michael Belfort: I’m sorry, what is your name?
Olivia Kennedy: Olivia Kennedy, I’m Drake King’s attorney.
(Michael is baffled by this for a moment before shaking his head, trying to continue the interview as normal.)
Michael Belfort: Okay well, Olivia, thank you for joining us. Do you know the whereabouts of Drake King?
Olivia Kennedy: Yes.
Michael Belfort: Would you care to elaborate any further on that?
(Olivia thinks for a moment before looking at Michael and shaking her head.)
Olivia Kennedy: No.
Michael Belfort: Is there any reason why that’s the case?
Olivia Kennedy: Confidentiality agreement.
Michael Belfort: Why would his whereabouts warrant that?
Olivia Kennedy: Ask Drake King, he chose to make that decision himself.
Michael Belfort: I can’t ask Drake…
Olivia Kennedy: Then you won’t know the answer.
Michael Belfort: I feel like we’re going in circles right now.
Olivia Kennedy: You are asking questions that are way out of your jurisdiction to ask.
Michael Belfort: Okay, then what is *in* my jurisdiction?
Olivia Kennedy: It is not my business to tell you, you have to find that out yourself.
Michael Belfort: Well the last time we saw Drake King was two weeks ago at King of Elite. He wasn’t at the show last week, now he’s not at the show this week. If I had to assume, he’s not taking the loss to Minerva very well. I could only assume that’s the case considering they have been bitter rivals for years dating back beyond their time here on Friday Night Dynasty. But, I figured I could ask how Drake is feeling after such a loss like that. Can I?
Olivia Kennedy: Hm…
(Olivia thinks for a moment like she has a checklist that she has to mark off inside of her head before she can respond to anything that is being asked of her right now. After some time, she looks up at Michel… and once again shakes her head.)
Olivia Kennedy: No.
Micahel Belfort: Does he not feel any sort of way about it?
Olivia Kennedy: No.
Michael Belfort: Do you know how he feels?
Olivia Kennedy: Yes.
Michael Belfort: :francis:
(Michael takes a moment to compose himself. This is getting quite frustrating, and while his integrity as an interviewer is at stake if he can’t get an answer from her, it’s painfully apparent that Drake King’s whereabouts are currently a complete mystery to the public.)
Michael Belfort: Then you know what? I have a question for you then, Olivia, why are you here? Wouldn’t it have been better to have not done this interview at all if Drake King himself was not going to show up?
Olivia Kennedy: Well then that would simply be unprofessional of me, would it not? As Drake King’s attorney, I represent him and conduct business for him in his place of profession. I’ve done so in the shadows for years now and only now do I feel like it’s necessary in these times to truly step up when he cannot.
Michael Belfort: What do you mean that he cannot?
Olivia Kennedy: Because he is not here tonight.
Michael Belfort: But is there any reason as to why? Please just give me something.
Olivia Kennedy: Okay, do you want something? I can give that to you. What you have asked me tonight is simply not your business and you have done nothing but pry, but out of generosity from myself and my client, I can give you this.
(Olivia pulls out a binder and takes out some reading glasses, putting them on as she opens to a page. Michael is, once again, visibly confused, but pauses as he lets Olivia speak.)
Olivia Kennedy: Drake King is okay.
(Olivia then turns around and makes her way out of the scene, with that being the last thing said before Michael Belfort is left to his lonesome. Quite baffled for a good moment there, he turns over to the camera before beginning to speak once more.)
Michael Belfort: Well, I have more questions than answers, but hopefully in the weeks leading up to Operation: Doomsday we can get some more clarification on the status of Drake King. Back to you guys.
(The camera begins to pan out as it’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty then begins to fade to elsewhere.)
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following main event contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Duel of the Fates’ can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as the audience reacts loudly to the arrival of the former New Breed Champion, BRAE. The elitist maintains his intensity, gazing upon the crowd with an electric gaze on his face, with all of his focus as he’s walking down the ramp ready for the main event.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! From Novosibirsk, Russia! Weighing in at 215 pounds…. ‘SON’ BRRRRRRRRRAE!!!
Stew-O: The former New Breed Champion has always been one to accept any challenge that should come his way, and this is not any different, although the opponent in question is surely raising the ire of his intensity in a more emphatic manner. BRAE will have to fight with all of his heart and then some if he wishes to have momentum after an incredible reign.
Flannery McCoy: BRAE recently held the New Breed title for more than 200 days, and to march into battle yet again as he must take on an opponent of this caliber, it’s surely not gonna be anything for BRAE to even think about underestimating tonight as he ventures into the unknown.
(‘Still D.R.E’ by Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as the audience reacts loudly for the arrival of Impact, who stands at the ramp & looks ahead to the audience in question. He proceeds to walk down the ramp, looking toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing his opponent! From Seattle, Washington, weighing in at 228 pounds… IMPAAAAAAACT!!!
Stew-O: Impact has certainly created a large amount of traction even more so through the animosity between himself and the King of Elite, so this can be the perfect match for him to send the message directly toward Drake Armstrong in victory tonight.
Jake Mercer: No doubt about that, as the legendary elitist now is now focused on defeating the former New Breed Champion and looking to gain some proper momentum as the landscape of Dynasty can always change swiftly. Regardless, this should be one hell of a fight!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And we’re off! Impact & BRAE collide right here in the main event of Dynasty as we expect to see one hell of a match between two men who are certainly trying to mount all of the offense possible when heading into a show of the magnitude of Operation: Doomsday! And we’re going to see a hard hitting affair from these elitists as Impact does not shy away from putting up as much of a struggle as possible against any elitist that is looking for a sizable fight! BRAE will happily oblige, especially after losing the New Breed Championship and understanding that the door has been opened for endless possibilities to go ahead of the season here as well!
Flannery McCoy: Which will not be understated tonight as we see the two men circling around the ring here, pacing carefully as BRAE will be looking to garner a huge victory tonight against arguably the most legendary elitist to ever step into the world of EAW as well! BRAE moves forward as does Impact as we see a collar and elbow tie-up be initiated here, each man trying their best to push one another forward ‘till it becomes Impact who manages to muster up the necessary strength to keep BRAE moving backward and into those ropes! The referee is now counting down here, as disqualification can truly affect this match as soon as right now if Impact does not let himself off here!
Jake Mercer: But thankfully Impact has more than a sizable sense of mind to move himself away, as his hands are raised while backing away from BRAE as he’s now looking to create this much needed space—TO AIM FOR A CHOP RIGHT ACROSS CHEST—BUT BRAE DUCKS! Impact turns himself around quickly to face BRAE BUT IS MET WITH A KNIFE EDGE CHOP ACROSS HIS OWN CHEST! AND ANOTHER CHOP! AND ANOTHER ONE!! BRAE is able to light up the chest of Impact with repeated chops as he forces Impact to back himself away from BRAE, now struggling in his own right as he’s stumbling over to the corner!
Stew-O: Which BRAE is refusing to slow down on, as he’s on the prowl and rushing over TO DELIVER YET ANOTHER CHOP ACROSS THE CHEST OF IMPACT! We already saw Impact endure the pressure against Rex in a chop exchange, and now we’re seeing another level of pressure here at the hands of BRAE who is sending repeated elbows across the temple of Impact as well! BRAE is refusing to let himself up as the referee is now counting down, disqualification could truly dampen the effects here if BRAE were to cost him by getting overzealous against the multi time World Champion tonight! The former New Breed Champion will have to back himself off for the moment!
Jake Mercer: As BRAE is able to back off for the moment while Impact now has some amount of room to ease himself back into the match, but that’s not gonna happen WHEN BRAE IS AIMING FOR A BACK ELBOW—BUT IMPACT WITH A CHOP ACROSS THE BACK OF BRAE’S NECK!! This causes BRAE to stumble away from the corner as the chop was enough for Impact to create the space that he desperately needed! Now he can take advantage in his own right and apply the pressure needed! Impact shifts through the ropes & onto the apron, BUT BRAE FOLLOWS SUIT—
——-
Flannery McCoy: AS IMPACT BEGINS FIGHTING BACK AND DENYING ANY OPPORTUNITY! HE SENDS A FOREARM DIRECTLY ONTO HIS JAW! BRAE stumbles backwards, as Impact–TRYING TO GO UP HIGH! A SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK COMES DOWN ONTO BRAE–WHO SIDE STEPS & NAILS A BOOT ACROSS HIS ABDOMEN. LAUNCHES IMPACT ACROSS THE RING WITH A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!
Stew-O: My god! BRAE caught him and shifted all of his weight against him! Now both men fall down on the ground. Impact is in the corner, as BRAE rolled out and onto the apron. Both men are showing will to win, and hope to outmatch the other! It has been one true performance here. BRAE is sitting on the apron, trying to get himself realigned with everything. But he looks at Impact Elite in the corner.. BRAE re-enters the ring now, as he walks over to Impact! the man who holds the New Breed Championship lifts his opponent up in the corner and… A HUGE KNIFE EDGE CHOP TO THE CHEST OF IMPACT! YOU CAN FEEL THAT! BUT BRAE DOES IT AGAIN– AND THE CHOP TO THE CHEST OF IMPACT CONNECTS ONCE MORE!
Flannery McCoy: BRAE is delivering a vicious onslaught of chops to his opponent, as he revs up once more! There is no doubt that these men are going to have welts on their chest when they get done. BRAE looks at his hand, as he is spiritually putting all his force and energy behind it! AND WITH IMPACT IN THE CORNER, HE SENDS THE MOST VICIOUS CHOP POSSIBLE SAILING! BUT Impact ELITE MOVES OUT OF THE WAY, AND BRAE SMASHES HIS HAND DIRECTLY INTO THE TURNBUCKLE!!!!
Stew-O: BRAE holds his hand in pain, as Impact Elite narrowly saved himself! But BRAE isn’t hesitant to slow down, he grabs Impact.. LOOKING TO NAIL A GERMAN SUPLEX—BUT IMPACT REMAINS CONSCIOUS WITH AN ELBOW DIRECTLY ACROSS BRAE’S JAW! BRAE stumbles backwards— AND THIS TIME HE PUTS IMPACT DOWN WITH A LARIAT!
Jake Mercer: AND BRAE GOES DOWN AND ROLLS OUT OF THE RING! Not giving Impact Elite the opportunity to pin him is smart! But this opened up a whole nother can of worms for the New Breed Champion. As Impacr is looking for yet again; ANOTHER SUICIDE DIVE TO THE OUTSIDE! He busted one out earlier in the match, but as we exit to the outside again.. this is seemingly perfect! Impact ASCENDS TOWARDS BRAE WHO IS RISING TOWARDS HIS FEET—A FOREARM TO THE FACE GETS HIM OFF TRACK! BRAE CONNECTED RIGHT ON THE JAW!! IMPACT FALLS ONTO THE APRON!
Stew-O: Impact is struggling incredibly here with BRAE as the young former New Breed Champion has been able to weather the storm against the EAW Hall of Famer! Impact rises up on the apron while BRAE was able to get back into the ring here as well—AS HE’S GOT IMPACT TRAPPED IN PLACE! AND HITS Impact ELITE WITH THE “10 BEATS OF BRAE”. IMPACT HAS NOWHERE TO GO AS HE IS BEING PLACED THROUGH EACH CLOBBERING BLOW FROM BRAE!

Flannery McCoy: AND THEY ALL CONNECT! BRAE lets go of Impact, as he falls directly into the ring by slipping through the ropes! BRAE wastes zero time focusing on Impact! The former New Breed Champion is feeling something fierce!! He is stomping his foot on the mat, and bringing his body back to life in some type of rigamortis! BRAE is looking for MORRIGAN! AS IMPACT RISES UP TO HIS FEET AND THE BRAE COMES FLYING AT HIM—BUT IMPACT MOVES OUT OF THE WAY, AS BRAE SMASHES BOOT FIRST INTO THE TURNBUCKLE!
Jake Mercer: Morrigan is nowhere to be found as BRAE was looking for a swift end to come out of this match, which allows Impact to bring himself back up & recover just enough TO SEND A SICKENING CHOP ACROSS THE BACK OF BRAE’S NECK AGAIN!! BRAE IS CAUGHT ON THE TURNBUCKLE AS IMPACT IS NOW SENDING LIGHTING QUICK CHOPS ACROSS HIS UPPER BACK AS THE REFEREE COUNTS DOWN! Impact is making the most out of every single second that he’s got right now as he’s refusing to let up on BRAE! His upper back & neck have turned red from the chops that are sent flying toward him!
Stew-O: As Impact now yanks BRAE over and gets a hold of him, not one to slow down as he’s now placing him in position and looking to send BRAE for a wild ride here—AS THE DOUBLE UNDERHOOK BACKBREAKER IS ENOUGH TO PUT BRAE DOWN! BRAE is writhing in pain as he’s arching himself outward in response, the backbreaker surely placing all of that pressure on him after everything he’s been through up to this point! Impact is now rolling him over and maintaining the cover!!
ONEEEEEE!!!

Flannery McCoy: NOT ENOUGH! BRAE is able to keep himself in this match as Impact will have to do a lot more in order to be able to keep him down! The EAW Hall of Famer is now situating himself over BRAE, laying in the forearms as they’re being placed directly on the skull of BRAE while still trying to shield himself as well! Impact is not holding himself back as BRAE is now looking to push Impact off and regroup while he can! Crawling himself over to the corner despite Impact following along AS HE’S LOOKING FOR THE BOOT—
Jake Mercer: BRAE MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! Impact is dragging BRAE back over and looking to put him down—BUT BRAE WITH A SUDDEN HEADBUTT SPRAWLING FROM DEEP WITHIN HIM TO KEEP IMPACT BACK! That was an entirely different maneuver coming from BRAE as that was enough to send the message, with Impact backing into the ropes before maneuvering toward BRAE as well.. TO SEND A SPINNING WHEEL KICK THAT KNOCKS BRAE BACK AS WELL!!
Stew-O: THE KICK FROM IMPACT IS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO KNOCK BRAE BACK CONSIDERABLY! He’s now rising right back up to his feet as BRAE is half conscious while stumbling away from the ropes while Impact as his focus on BRAE—BUT BRAE IS LOOKING TO TAKE IMPACT’S HEAD OFF WITH A SUDDEN LARIAT TO PUT HIM BACK DOWN!! THE LARIAT TAKES HIM DOWN AS BRAE IS ABLE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE TEMPORARY BREAK IN THE ACTION!
Flannery McCoy: As BRAE is now bringing himself over Impact, and now getting his arms wrapped around his waist tightly while Impact is unable to make any further movements that could negatively affect him at this stage of the match! BRAE is now willing upon all of his energy here to be able to… DEADLIFT IMPACT FROM THE MAT AND UPWARD… BEFORE CREATING THE BRIDGE WITH A SUCCESSFUL DEADLIFT GERMAN SUPLEX!!! Immense strength from the former New Breed Champion as he just dropped Impact down yet again, and maintaining the bridge for the pin!
ONEEEEEE!!!

T—
Jake Mercer: NO! IMPACT IS MORE THAN CAPABLE OF KICKING OUT THERE! BRAE is wide-eyed as he’s understanding that Impact is still refusing to be put down after the german suplex that sent him spiralling onto the back of his neck! Impact sits himself up as he’s looking to find some new ground here—BUT BRAE KEEPS HIM SEATED! HE STARTS RAINING DOWN ELBOW AFTER ELBOW DOWN UPON HIS SHOULDER AS IMPACT IS STRUGGLING! BRAE with all of the pressure in the world here as he’s still trying with all of his might to send the message straight!
Stew-O: BEFORE SHIFTING INTO A REAR NAKED CHOKE! BRAE APPLIES THE SUBMISSION AS IMPACT IS STRUGGLING FURTHER! Impact is trying to get himself out of this predicament here but he’s still struggling a great deal to find any ground whatsoever! He’s keeping himself in a seated position, before trying to bring himself upward and to a knee despite BRAE still trying to keep the rear naked choke in the hold! BRAE is wrapping his arm around his neck as he’s trying to suppress him from having any possible chance of reaching the ropes!
Flannery McCoy: BUT IMPACT IS RISING! He’s able to slowly pull himself upward and to a proper stance, as BRAE is still holding on with this submission hold despite Impact being able to carry him upward… AND BACK INTO THE CORNER TO MAKE BRAE LET GO! AND NOW IMPACT IS MOUNTING THE ELBOWS! Each back elbow is landing across the temple of BRAE as there’s no letting up for Impact from here! The referee is counting down as this is all situated in the corner where it needs to leave!
Jake Mercer: As Impact does back off from the corner with his arms raised, and he returns back to BRAE by rushing forward—BUT A BOOT FROM BRAE KEEPS HIM BACK! Impact staggers back as BRAE is now bringing himself up to the top turnbuckle, looking to keep on maintaining all of this momentum that he garnered before to ensure that his opponent will be put down! BRAE is now looking to take flight with the DIVING CLOTHESLINE—
Stew-O: KNIFE EDGE CHOP FROM IMPACT IS ENOUGH TO PUT BRAE BACK DOWN!!! BRAE FELT ALL OF THE BRUNT OF THAT CHOP ACROSS HIS CHEST IN MID AIR!!! Impact is now quickly dragging BRAE upward, and he’s got him in position here as he doesn’t slow himself down from hoisting BRAE upward here BEFORE SENDING HIM DIRECTLY ON HIS OWN HEAD WITH THE ‘TURNING TIDES’!!! THE FRANKENSTEINER IS ENOUGH TO MAKE BRAE CRUMBLE ON IMPACT! Now the EAW Hall of Famer rushes to the cover!!!
ONEEEEEE!!!

THREE—
Flannery McCoy: NO! IT’S STILL NOT ENOUGH TO PUT BRAE DOWN!!! HE KICKS OUT! Impact is able to bring himself back up to a proper position here, keeping his eyes set directly toward BRAE as he’s not willing to let up on the pressure for as long as he is in control! BRAE is making the rise, holding onto the ropes to bring himself up as Impact has seems to have BRAE scouted for what’s about to come sprawling toward him right here—IN THE FORM OF THE ‘FIST OF FURY’—
Jake Mercer: BRAE CATCHES IMPACT & LANDS THE BLACK HOLE SLAM!!! The Black Hole Slam is more than enough to keep Impact at bay as BRAE is now moving back up to his feet, nodding vigorously as he’s able to assume himself back upward while Impact as down!!! BRAE is backed into the corner as his opponent is laid out, and he’s ready to launch himself forward AFTER RUSHING TOWARD IMPACT & LEAPING FOR THE ‘RED DEATH’!!
Stew-O: BUT IMPACT CAUGHT HIM WITH ‘EYES WIDE SHUT’!!! TRIANGLE CHOKE IS APPLIED BY IMPACT!!! IMPACT HAS APPLIED THE TRIANGLE CHOKE AS BRAE IS NOW LOCKED INSIDE THE SUBMISSION!!! The New Breed Champion is keeping himself as elevated as he possibly can with his feet remaining on the mat, keeping himself from falling into an inescapable prone position should this go for the very worse soon after! But Impact has the triangle choke maintained as he’s not letting himself let this go! The referee slides to a prone position as he’s looking toward BRAE, watching for any potential tap out or unconsciousness—
(SMACK!!!!)
Flannery McCoy: DRAKE ARMSTRONG WITH THE RING! BLASTING IMPACT ACROSS THE TEMPLE WITH THE RING AWAY FROM THE VISION OF THE REFEREE!! Impact has to let go as his head was absolutely rattled, with BRAE able to emerge from the submission to bring himself upward—
Jake Mercer: AND DOWNWARD WITH THE ‘RED DEATH’!!! THE RED DEATH NAILS ACROSS IMPACT AS BRAE REMAINS DRAPED OVER THE TEN TIME EAW WORLD CHAMPION!
ONEEEEEE!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… BRAEEEEEEE!!!
Stew-O: An immense win for BRAE tonight over the acclaimed EAW Hall of Famer, despite the assistance from Armstrong that I’m certain he didn’t ask for! BRAE rolls himself away with his hand raised by the referee, with Impact shaking his head vigorously here after the result that unraveled—AS ARMSTRONG DRAGS HIM OUT OF THE RING! LOOKING TO NAIL THE PUNCH WITH THE RING AGAIN!!
Flannery McCoy: BUT IMPACT CAUGHT THE HAND, AND NAILED AN ELBOW ACROSS ARMSTRONG’S TEMPLE! IMPACT PRIES THE RING AWAY FROM HIS FINGER AS DRAKE IS TRYING TO KEEP UP THE PRESSURE!!! DRAKE EXCHANGES RIGHTS WITH IMPACT!!
Jake Mercer: THEY’RE BOTH THROWING HAYMAKERS TOWARD ONE ANOTHER! WE NEED SOME HELP OUT HERE TO GET THIS TWO PRIED APART BEFORE THIS GOES SOUTH!! THEY’RE BRAWLING ALL OVER RINGSIDE!!!
Stew-O: IMPACT SLAMS ARMSTRONG’S HEAD OVER THE BARRICADE! THE PUNCHES CONTINUE AS THEY’RE SHIFTING ALONG TO OUR DESK—
Flannery McCoy: AS DRAKE POKES HIS EYE—AND THEN SENDS HIS HEAD COLLIDING OVER OUR DESK!!! THIS IS CHAOS UNFOLDING BEFORE US!!
Stew-O: WE THANK YOU FOR JOINING US TONIGHT EVERYBODY!!! SEE YOU ALL NEXT WEEK!!!
(The security all rush to the scene as they pry Impact & Drake Armstrong apart in the dozens, with Impact spouting profanities toward Armstrong as the King of Elite is screaming right back at him, with the scene fading on a very chaotic end.)
(EAW logo buzzes.)
