(Fight Grid Intro Plays)
(The camera fades to a shot at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada less than 24 hours ago. The camera pans around the building for a little while, and afterwards it fades to the inside of the building, where Inside Scoop Reporter for Showdown, Mikaela Street is seen in her glasses, bow tie, dress shirt, slacks, and suspenders. She’s holding a microphone in her hands and has a smile on her face, and after a few seconds begins to speak.)
Mikaela Street: It was an incredible episode of Showdown and just moments ago I received word from Heidi Huxley that Kennedy Street has two huge announcements! I am standing outside her office right now and waiting as she is ready to come out and talk to us here!
(Within seconds Kennedy walks out, fixing her hair and taking a deep breath. Behind her is Holly Arrow who steps out and looks at Kennedy, nodding as she returns nod.)
Mikaela Street: Oh? What is going on here, Kennedy? We just saw Holly Arrow walk out of your office seconds ago, still in her wrestling attire, can you elaborate?
Kennedy Street: Of course, honey. Everyone thinks that Kennie is a woman who shows favoritism and lives a lifestyle of nepotism. That is not true, honey. Kennie is fair, you know that better than anyone, we are family, right?
Mikaela Street: Yes, that is true, though let’s be real, you do like the ones that show you more attention.
Kennedy Street: Do you like working here, Miks?
Mikaela Street: I love it here!
Kennedy Street: Good, remember that next time you try and insult Kennie.
(Mikaela looks a bit taken back and quiets down quickly.)
Kennedy Street: Now, back to the big announcements that were planned before you interrupted me. As we were talking about Holly Arrow. You saw her walk out of the office just now. Look, Kennie is concerned about what’s best for business. Holly came to see me as the show went off the air and Kenie must admit, she did bring a great argument forward. She was a finalist in the Empress of Elite tournament, a match of the year candidate with Dr. Bethany Blue, and now she brought up the fact she has been in some incredible matches with the top of the talent in the EAW and especially Showdown. So, since she did draw with Alex Myers… I have decided to put her in the Fatal Four-Way Number One Contendership Elimination match for the Answers World Championship where the winner will receive the title match at The Grand Rampage honey.
Mikaela Street: Holly Arrow has been added, so it is now a Fatal Five-Way Elimination Match and the winner will face the Answers World Champion at Grand Rampage!?
Kennedy Street: That’s what Kennie just said.
Mikaela Street: Right… and your next announcement?
(Kennedy smirks…)
Kennedy Street: Oh right, so after what has happened the last few weeks with Ms. Extreme, especially the heinous attack on me, which in my right mind, Kennie should suspend and even fire her but that would be bad for business, instead it is in the best interest of everyone that Ms. Extreme goes one on one with Jack Ripley at Reasonable Doubt in…. A NO HOLDS BARRED match, honey.
Mikaela Street: WOW! What a match and…..
Kennedy Street: I’m not done yet. Kennie will be at ringside, doing color commentary for that match. That is all. Ciao.
(After a wink, Kennedy steps back into her office, Mikaela looks a bit shocked, where she then turns to the camera.)
Mikaela Street: Well… you heard it here first everyone! Two huge matches have been announced and what an incredible show Reasonable Doubt is going to be! XOXO!
