BREAKING NEWS: DRAKE KING MAKES THE FIRST OFFICIAL CHANGE FOR VOLTAGE!

(Fight Grid intro plays.)

[SCREENBAR: Barclays Center – New York City, New York]

(The scene begins to fade in to show the aftermath of the brutal, bloody, & violent Voltage exclusive Free-Per-View: Wicked Games 2021. It’s after the cameras cut and the show has come to a close, where the backstage crew has reached the unfortunate burden of having to clean up after everything that unfolded. After a long shot of the arena, it then goes to the backstage area which seems to be relatively quiet other than the sounds of two pairs of footsteps that echo through the vicinity. The first pair is shown to be EAW Network Host: Molly Waters who is speed-walking to the best of her abilities, apparently trying to catch up to someone in hopes of getting a few words in. She’s panting heavily while she shouts out through the hallways in hopes of getting their attention.)

Molly Waters: CAPTAIN CHARISMA! CAPTAIN CHARISMA!

(The person is revealed to be none other than (temporarily former) Sunday Night Voltage Commissioner: Captain Charisma who is aptly making his way through the backstage area. It’s apparent that he doesn’t want an interview with Molly right now, but Molly isn’t budging.)

Molly Waters: CAN YOU TELL ME YOUR THOUGHTS OF WHAT HAPPENED IN THE MAIN EVENT?!

Captain Charisma: No comment.

Molly Waters: WHAT WILL HAPPEN, IN YOUR OPINION, WITH NEW EDEN IN POWER?!

Captain Charisma: No comment.

Molly Waters: DO YOU THINK THE VOLTAGE BRAND WILL EVEN BE HERE WHEN YOU COME BACK?!

(After a while, Captain Charisma finally sighs and stops in his tracks. Molly takes a moment to catch her breath while she finally stands next to him, before she looks up with a smile, casually pushing the microphone in his face.)

Captain Charisma: It’s unfortunate, it really is. Sad that it had to come to this, but I’m not really someone to cry over spilled milk. I’m a firm believer that with New Eden in charge and miraculously having power, it’ll only be a matter of time before they ultimately self-destruct. I stand my ground with that, and I will be watching from home to see my statement be validated on live TV. But whatever happens, happens. All there is for certain is that when I do return to work on December first, I’ll fix whatever New Eden fucked up, that’s all.

(Captain Charisma gives a reassuring smile to Molly before he turns and walks off from there. Molly has a smile on her face while she turns around and walks the opposite direction, but before she can walk any further than the camera frame, she bumps into someone.)

???: It’s riveting to see you question the wrong person in charge like he still runs the place.

(The camera pans out to show Drake King standing in front of Molly, with a big smirk on his face while he looks at her. He’s clearly alone this time around, with the rest of New Eden being checked out by medical after their excruciating Barbed Wire Massacre match in the main event. He takes his gloved hand and directs Molly’s hand, bringing the microphone up to his face.)

Molly Waters: Well-

Drake King: No no, it’s fine. I’ll personally correct you myself. How does *New Eden* feel about their newly obtained role of power on Sunday Night Voltage. Well, I feel like it’s more poetic justice than anything else. New Eden will finally get the chance to show the world what Elite Answers Wrestling should be. A utopia that has always been wrongfully held over our heads, but now, in our hands. In fact, as of right now, I am going to make my first official change for Voltage. Effective November 1st, when New Eden comes into power, all swears will be banned from Voltage.

(Molly nearly laughs, but manages to quickly collect herself upon seeing Drake look down at her with his smile diminishing for a moment. But after everything calms down, Drake continues.

Drake King: … If anyone contracted to Voltage, appearing on Voltage, or working for Voltage drops one of those uncalled for words in their promotional videos or on television… they will be charged $500 per swear. I assure everyone though, this is just the start of things to come, it’s about to be the most glorious 30 days that EAW has ever witnessed. You’re welcome.

(Drake turns around and walks off leaving Molly amused for a good moment. It’s the last shot seen before the camera then fades to black.)

(Fight Grid logo buzzes.)
