Rising Star of the Week

Korey Gaines

This week’s Rising Star of the Week is Korey Gaines! Korey Gaines is heading towards a future New Breed Championship match against Caroline, and this week he managed to pick up some momentum ahead of that match as he’d win a match against Justin Thorson. Korey Gaines has yet to win his first Championship in EAW and is currently heading towards his opportunity to change that, and a win like this definitely furthered his confidence heading into that match, even if the New Breed Champion herself would make an appearance not too long after it was over.

Beef of the Week

Xander Payne & Ryan Wilson vs Jake Smith & Chris Elite

The Beef of the Week for this week was the match between the team of Xander Payne and Ryan Wilson and the team of Jake Smith and Chris Elite, formerly the Haircare Kings! This was a really great week of promos as Xander and Ryan looked to continue their streak of tag team victories while Chris Elite and Jake Smith were looking to gain momentum ahead of Reasonable Doubt. There’s a lot of history there with the Elitists in this match and in the end this match featured four very talented promoers, making this such a great matchup for Showdown’s main event!

Show of the Week

Showdown

This week’s Show of the Week was Showdown! Showdown this week featured some interesting announcements for Reasonable Doubt, such as a match between Adam Lucas and Kassidy Heart, a unique opportunity fatal four way and a triple threat National Elite Championship match! This show also saw some great matches such as Holly Arrow versus Alex Myers as well as the main event, as Jake Smith and Chris Elite worked together to take on Xander Payne and Ryan Wilson. This was an amazing show, and Reasonable Doubt is looking even more exciting because of it!

Match of the Week

Myles vs Methuselah

This week’s Match of the Week was the main event of Voltage, Myles versus Methuselah! This was a huge match as this was Methuselah’s return match, and as if it wasn’t already a big enough deal, his opponent was the EAW World Champion, Myles! This caused the main event of Voltage to be an incredible match between two of the very best in EAW, and while this match may have ended without a winner, it still was an amazing showcase of what both the now two-time World Champion Myles and the returning Methuselah are capable of heading into Tempest. This was an amazing match with great performances by both Elitists.

Promoer of the Week

Methuselah

The Promoer of the Week for this week is Methuselah! This week saw Methuselah compete in his first match back as he went up against Myles, and this turned out to be the first time Methuselah has spoken for a lengthy period of time since his return. Methuselah’s promotional video was a Gawdcast and it revealed a lot more about his beliefs, especially when it came to the EAW World Champion. Methuselah’s return has left a lot of questions and his first promotional video since returning may have left even more as he went in depth about Myles’ “life path”. As mysterious as he is, his promotional video showed that Methuselah remains one of the most interesting minds EAW may ever see.

Champion of the Week

Limmy Monaghan

The Champion of the Week for this week is the World Heavyweight Champion, Limmy Monaghan! On Dynasty, Limmy teamed up with Cameron Ella Ava to face a duo he’s come across many times this season, Soul Food Sunday! While Xander Payne and Ryan Wilson played a part in it, Limmy was able to pick up a huge win on the same night that he and Cameron made their Operation: Doomsday match official. Getting a win over a Champion is always great, and seeing the kind of experience Limmy has with the current Unified Tag Team Champions, it was definitely a great way for him to end Dynasty. Congratulations to the World Heavyweight Champion!

Most Valuable Elitist

Xander Payne & Ryan Wilson

The Most Valuable Elitists for this week are Xander Payne and Ryan Wilson! On Showdown these two had a very big match as they went up against the former Haircare Kings. Not only are these former Unified Tag Team Champions, but Jake Smith is the current Answers World Champion! That made this match a very big deal as anyone would want to pick up a victory over a World Champion, and in the end these two managed to do exactly that. While it was a controversial way to get the job done thanks to Impact, Ryan Wilson ultimately managed to pin Jake Smith and get the victory for the team. Congratulations to Ryan Wilson and Xander Payne!
