In the newest developer diary, the newfangled EAW MyTeam was expanded. Many fanbases have been anticipating these details, and @Manny2K was at liberty to showcase what this game mode will be all about. MyTeam is a game mode set to debut in the EAW 2K series that allows elitists to build their team, consisting of former and current NBA players. You can customize your team’s regular and appearance.
MyTeam Game Modes
MyTeam has several different game modes inside of it. There are several game modes to play, such as Triple Threat, Domination, and MyTeam Online. However, in each game mode, you control a whole team, ranging from three elitists at a time to five elitists. Unleashed will be a 5×5 Elimination Tag Team Match, with other variations of the manner in Wargames style. The Triple Threat mode will be a 6-man Battle Royale, while Codebreaker will be a 5-on-5 Gauntlet Match between both teams. This team will always consist of one male elitist, one female elitist, one legend, one tag team, and a manager. Players will also have the opportunity to complete daily, weekly, and monthly challenges based on EAW historical events. They will start at the beginning, middle, or the end of the match and must complete tasks to earn specific awards. Weekly challenges are updated every Friday to relive scenarios that have happened in the past week. The Highlight Reel challenges are updated every time an elitist records a spectacular performance. In EAW 2K Domination, your team composed of different elitists will fight against randomized groups. These teams will include elitists that are either randomized or have chemistry, sometimes even stables from the past. The teams from the beginning will be easy, as it will be increasingly challenging when you work your way up from facing bottom card opponents to the main event.
MyTeam Cards
It is strongly required to collect cards to build your all-star lineup of elitists. The level of cards changed with each colour, in order from worst to best. The colours are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, Amethyst, Diamond, and Pink Diamond. You must apply contracts to your players to play on your team; you can also apply shoes that boost stats. From Season Packs to Elitist Of The Month Packs, these can be collected in many ways—primarily through packs. Packs varying with quantity are accompanied by an Incentive, which guarantees an Emerald Card or better. EAW 2K often releases exclusive limited-edition packs related to FPVs, Most Valuable Elitist Awards, and Supershows. Secondly, cards can be bought with MT on the Auction House—an in-game store where players sell and buy elitists for a certain amount of MT. Thirdly, there is a collection feature for various elitists, managers, trainers, strategies, and canvases. For example, if you collect every elitist card from the EAW Season Four collection, you will gain a Sapphire throwback player that was a prominent figure in that season. Historical Collections and Elitist Of The Year collections offer superior rewards. Lastly, EAW developers will sometimes release limited edition locker codes for players to redeem exclusive elitists.
Cards that range from gold, silver to bronze are primarily elitists from the past. Their colours are based on the tiers of that player. Ruby cards are typically better ratings of elitists from collectives. Emeralds are elitists with updated ratings. Cards that are Amethyst, Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, Diamond, and Galaxy Opal can be primarily acquired through rewards, packs, auction houses or locker codes. Pink Diamonds
