(EAW intro plays)
(The camera opens up as usual to a recap of last week’s episode of Sunday Night Voltage. It begins with Charlie Marr talking inside of the ring, stating that nobody can compare to him here and how he is going to end Minerva’s title reign. Minerva interrupts him and mocks him for continuing to do the same thing he does, thinking he is great and unstoppable. They have a very heated back and forth, before they are suddenly interrupted by Lexi, who challenges Charlie to a Hardcore Championship match next week, which Charlie accepts. Charlie and Minerva then leave with the scene very tense from their back and forth while Lexi is left in the ring, completely ignored by them. Haruka Kashimashi then has a quick interview with Sofia Clarke before successfully getting a victory against Alex Matthews. Backstage, Eden Sinclair announces to Captain Charisma that she has the perfect new representative for Voltage and for Disney. She is very much excited, but Captain Charisma is doubtful about this new representative. Eden reassures him that everything will be alright and she leaves his office, but she is stopped by the Ice Aces, who call her out for making the match to make them fight each other. They complain toward her and tell her that her plan won’t work, she ends up saying that the match has already been made and nothing can be done anymore, as she leaves and the Ice Aces do the same feeling frustrated. Sierra Everett is able to beat TLA after he is distracted by Drake’s music playing, and after the match, Hikari takes her revenge on Sierra and lays her out.)
(Natasha is furious about what happened last week with Samael attacking Theron, she goes to meet with Dr. Doyle, but instead she ends up finding Caine. She still complains and bothers him to the point Samael comes out and he viciously attacks her. Before he can cause any more damage, the security guards are able to stop him and pull away, with Dr. Doyle looking on in disbelief as Natasha gets carried away by paramedics. After what happened, Samael faces off against Ayu Megumi, and Samael is able to take the victory. He is ready to attack Ayu after the match, but ARIA and Usagi Senshi quickly come out to defend her, and then security guards along with Dr. Doyle comes out once more to restrain Samael and pull him back. Ronan Malosi goes to Captain Charisma’s office and finds Daryl Kinkade there as well, with Captain Charisma announcing Daryl will face Ronan at Wicked Games. Daryl leaves, but Ronan stays, saying that he still had his favor from winning at Brand Warfare, maybe one of his choices could be him wanting to be Commissioner. Captain Charisma obviously ignores him and doesn’t listen to him as Ronan walks away excitedly with a plan. Kenn Kenn and Kylie Grace give a pep talk to each other and then walk out to face off against The Prescription, but sadly, they aren’t successful and The Prescription take the victory.)
(The recap continues. Captain Charisma comes out to run down the Wicked Games card thus far and he announces a new match, a triple threat between Kylie Grace, Haruka Kashimashi and Halsey Neel for a second spot in the Specialists Chamber. Backstage, Halsey Neel gives her reaction to the announcement, saying that she is going to make sure things are different this time, and that at Road to Redemption she won’t be the one to leave empty handed. Finally, in the main event, ARIA is able to defeat Drake King thanks to a distraction from TLA as revenge from earlier on in the night. After the match Drake immediately starts brawling with TLA, before the brawl ends with Drake hitting TLA with his own Mexican Destroyer. The recap ends with an image of TLA laid out and Drake standing tall.)
(The recap ends and Sunday Night Voltage fades away to show a shot of the Yaoundé Multipurpose Sports Complex in Yaoundé, Cameroon. An edited version of ’33rd Blakk Glass’ by ZilaKami & SosMula is played through the speakers as spotlights are panning around and golden pyro is shooting out from the stage. The crowd cheers wildly as the camera then goes over to show the broadcasting team of Rich Russillo, James Peters, and Persephone.)
Rich Russillo: Ladies and gentlemen… WELCOME TO SUNDAY NIGHT VOLTAGE! As we get closer and closer to Wicked Games, things are really starting to pick up, as tonight we have a stacked show full of matches! First, Charlie Marr going up against Lexi for the Hardcore Championship, a Newcomers Showcase between SHOHEI and Alex Matthews, and the Ice Aces going up against Halsey Neel, Kylie Grace and Haruka Kashimashi in a Trios Tornado Match!
James Peters: You are correct on that Rich, this show is filled with exciting matches, like one-half of the Unified Tag Team Champions, Sheridan Muller, going up against Ronan Malosi. Also a special guest all the way from Showdown, as the National Elite Champion Donovan Duke goes up against Hikari Kanno!
Persephone: And we also have Drake King going up against Daryl Kinkade, and finally, the main event being the EAW Champion Minerva facing off against Theron Nikolas! It will be another amazing episode of Voltage, that I am sure won’t be boring to go through and I will have a lot of fun seeing all of these matches! In fact, one of them will start right now so let’s get to it! 😁
(Voltage fades to the ring, where Bella Braxton can be seen holding a microphone in her hand.)
Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen… The following contest is a hardcore match scheduled for ONE FALL!!!!

Bella Braxton: AND IT IS FOR THE HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!
(‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ by White Zombie hits, and the crowd cheers for the EAW World Champion, Minerva. Minerva begins to walk down the ramp, as she is keeping her promise of staying at ringside tonight to watch this match. She wears her title around her waist, and as she makes it down the ramp and to ringside, she raises the Championship which gets her more cheers.)
Bella Braxton: Joining us at ringside, please welcome the EAW World Champion, MIIIIINNEERRRVVVAAA!!!!!
James Peters: Minerva may not be competing until tonight’s main event match, but she said last week that she’d be here at ringside to watch this all go down!
Rich Russillo: Yeah, but I wonder what that means for the match! Charlie now has Minerva breathing down his neck, and I’m sure that’ll only distract him as he faces Lexi!
(‘Mr. Brightside’ by the Killers hits, and now the crowd starts to boo for Showdown’s Lexi, who walks out with a very focused look on her face as she prepares for one of her biggest matches since returning to EAW! Lexi begins walking down the ramp, and she sees Minerva at ringside but retains her focus, clearly wanting to prove her doubters, especially Veena Adams and Holly Arrow, wrong.)
Bella Braxton: Introducing first… From Detroit, Michigan… Weighing in at 117 pounds… LLLEEEEEEEEXXXXIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!
James Peters: Lexi made a challenge to Charlie Marr last week thanks to the things going on between herself and Veena Adams over on Showdown, and while Lexi has a huge opportunity to win her first title, it can’t be said enough just how much of a challenge it’s going to be!
Rich Russillo: That’s right. We’ve seen huge upset victories occur in EAW, it’s just a matter of whether or not Lexi has what it takes to cause another one tonight!
(‘Praise The Lord’ by Bandokay follows, and the boos only continue for the Hardcore Champion, Charlie Marr. As Charlie walks out, his attention immediately goes to the EAW World Champion, Minerva. Charlie stares at Minerva as he walks down the ramp, before looking at Lexi and shaking his head as he makes his way to the ring, clearly confident in his chances of retaining the Hardcore Championship tonight.)
Bella Braxton: And her opponent… From Tower Hamlets, London, United Kingdom… Weighing in at 240 pounds… HE IS THE EAW HARDCORE CHAMPION, CHAAARRRLLLIIEEEE MMAAARRRRRR!!!!!!
James Peters: The Champion is out now, and you could see the hatred between him and Minerva! Of course that’s not what this match is about, and if Charlie isn’t careful, paying attention to Minerva could very well be his undoing!
Rich Russillo: That’s true. We have no clue what kind of role Minerva will play, but we can say for sure that Charlie needs to be careful not to underestimate Lexi, or he may very well be taken by surprise tonight.
(Suddenly, as both competitors are in the ring, ‘7 Rings’ by Ariana Grande hits, capturing the attention of Lexi as Charlie has a smirk on his face.)
James Peters: Wait, what???
Rich Russillo: That’s the entrance music of Veena Adams!
(Before long, Veena Adams herself begins walking out, and this pisses off Lexi. The fans in attendance are booing loudly for Veena as she makes her way down the ramp, but Veena has a grin on her face, as if she knew she’d anger Lexi by appearing tonight.)
James Peters: It looks like Veena is planning to stay at ringside, too! This might end up throwing Lexi off her game, she clearly wasn’t counting on Veena showing up!
Rich Russillo: Lexi just shook her head and turned back to Charlie. Somehow I think she’s gonna try to focus on this match, knowing Veena is right there waiting for her!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(TIMER: 10:00)
James Peters: HERE WE GO! THE OPENING MATCH, THE HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH IS ON AND LEXI CHARGES RIGHT AT CHARLIE MARR- BUT CHARLIE SAW IT COMING! CHARLIE OVERPOWERS LEXI AS HE TRIES TO POWER HER TO THE CORNER, BUT LEXI ESCAPES HIS GRASP! Charlie now turning around- RIGHT INTO THE LIGHTS OUT- NO! CHARLIE MARR CAUGHT THE LEG AND NOW HE SPINS LEXI AROUND BEFORE KICKING HER IN THE MIDSECTION! CHARLIE MARR NOW WITH THE DOUBLE UNDERHOOK AS HE SETS UP FOR THE QUEEN IS DEAD, BUT HE’S NOT ABLE TO CONNECT WITH THAT EITHER AS LEXI RUNS AND SENDS HIM BACK FIRST INTO THE TURNBUCKLES! Both Elitists stumble out of the corner, AND LEXI GOES FOR FOH!!!
Rich Russillo: NO! LEXI WENT FOR THE STANDING SHIRANUI BUT CHARLIE MANAGED TO CATCH HER ON HIS SHOULDER, BEFORE TURNING BACK TO THE CORNER AND SENDING HER FACE FIRST ONTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE WITH SNAKE EYES! Lexi falls- but before she could land on the mat Charlie grabs her and lifts her up into a powerbomb position! Charlie now walking over to the ropes, AND HE POWERBOMBS LEXI TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING, RIGHT NEXT TO THE EAW WORLD CHAMPION, MINERVA!
Persephone: Minerva doesn’t look impressed, but if I was her I would be, because this is very good wrestling! Lexi is digging under the ring instead of pulling herself back up, meanwhile Charlie Marr just told Minerva that this is what’s coming at Wicked Games before exiting the ring! Minerva hasn’t moved from her spot, so Charlie should probably be careful. If Minerva gets involved nothing would happen since there are no disqualifications in a Hardcore match! Charlie Marr is pulling Lexi up from under the ring- BUT HE GETS HIT IN THE SIDE OF THE HEAD WITH A STEEL CHAIR!!
James Peters: Charlie managed to block up at the last second so he remained on his feet, BUT THAT’S NOT STOPPING LEXI FROM CONTINUING TO WHACK HIM WITH THE STEEL CHAIR, FORCING CHARLIE TO STUMBLE AND BACKPEDAL OVER TOWARDS THE TIMEKEEPERS AREA!! Charlie Marr now is trapped against the barricade as the chair shots continue-
(Ding!)

James Peters: BUT CHARLIE IS ABLE TO GRAB THE RING BELL BEFORE SLAMMING IT INTO THE SIDE OF LEXI’S HEAD!!! CHARLIE NOW REACHING OVER THE TIMEKEEPERS AREA ONCE MORE, AND JUST AS LEXI GETS BACK UP SHE’S MET WITH A MICROPHONE TO THE JAW!!
Rich Russillo: Charlie taking a second to catch his breath and recover as Lexi slowly crawls towards the ring, and now Charlie picks up the steel chair BEFORE SLAMMING IT ONTO LEXI’S BACK! Lexi is in a lot of trouble right now, but it can’t be ignored that Charlie took a lot of nasty chair shots and is only standing right now because he had the barricade to lean on! Lexi is slowly making her way under the ring possibly to find another weapon, BUT CHARLIE QUICKLY GRABS HER BY THE LEG, PULLING HER AWAY BEFORE SHE HAS THE CHANCE TO CATCH HIM BY SURPRISE AGAIN!
Persephone: CHARLIE MARR GOES FOR A BOOT TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD, BUT LEXI PULLS HERSELF BACK TO AVOID IT, GRABBING THE RING BELL AND SLAMMING IT INTO CHARLIE’S BACK! Lexi uses the barricade to pull herself up, AND NOW SHE SHOVES CHARLIE FACE FIRST INTO THE RING POST!!! Lexi grabs Charlie now, AND SHE THROWS HIM INTO THE STEEL STEPS!!! Charlie stopped himself though! Lexi is climbing onto the ring apron as Charlie turns around, AND LEXI RUNS OFF THE APRON AND DELIVERS A DIVING DROPKICK!!!
James Peters: Lexi slowly rolls off of the ring apron before approaching our table, and-
Persephone: Hey- my monitor!
(Lexi pulls Persephone’s monitor from the commentary table before approaching Charlie Marr.)
Persephone: I’m not gonna get that back until after the match 😔.
James Peters: Charlie Marr getting back up using the barricade, AND LEXI HITS CHARLIE IN THE MIDSECTION WITH THE MONITOR!! LEXI NOW WITH A HARD SHOT TO THE FACE WITH THE MONITOR, SENDING CHARLIE OVER THE BARRICADE AND INTO THE CROWD AREA!!! IT LOOKS LIKE LEXI HAD SOMETHING IN MIND WHEN SHE TOOK THE MONITOR, AND IT JUST HELPED HER GET THE UPPER HAND OVER THE HARDCORE CHAMPION!
(As Lexi approaches Charlie, Veena walks up to Lexi.)
Lexi: (off-mic) Get out of the way.
Veena Adams: (off-mic) Why? So you can embarrass yourself some more? You’re not good enough to win any match worthwhile let alone against Charlie, just give up.
(Lexi just pushes past Veena, climbing onto the barricade.)
(TIMER: 7:47)
Rich Russillo: Charlie Marr slowly getting back up as Lexi climbs up onto the barricade as she seems to have something else in mind, AND NOW SHE DIVES AT CHARLIE FOR A DIVING CROSSBODY OFF THE APRON-
James Peters: BUT CHARLIE CAUGHT LEXI OUT OF THE AIR, AND HE SLAMS HER ONTO THE FLOOR WITH A SNAP POWERSLAM!! THERE’S NO PADDING OUT THERE, AND IT LOOKS LIKE VEENA’S DISTRACTION WORKED!
Rich Russillo: That had to hurt badly, meanwhile as soon as Charlie Marr gets back to his feet, he turns his attention back towards the EAW World Champion!
Charlie Marr: (off-mic) Just a few more weeks, Minerva!
James Peters: Charlie now taking one of the fans’ chairs before folding it up, AND SLAMMING IT ONTO LEXI’S BACK!! Lexi slowly trying to crawl away as Charlie repeatedly hits her with the chair, and this match spilling out into the crowd area might not be what either competitor wants knowing just how unpredictable things could get out there, and that’s not even mentioning the fact that there’s only ten minutes and a good amount of time has already passed! If they spend too much time out there, this might not end how they wanted it to!
Rich Russillo: Charlie Marr now setting his sights on a garbage can that’s nearby, and Charlie grabs the lid before tossing it to the side! Charlie picking up the entire garbage can now as Lexi just barely tries pushing herself back up, AND CHARLIE SLAMS THE GARBAGE CAN INTO HER HEAD!!! LEXI DROPS BACK TO THE GROUND, AND THE PAST FEW MOMENTS HAVE BEEN ALL CHARLIE!! This really isn’t looking too good for Lexi! She may have bitten off more than she could chew challenging Charlie Marr, who’s been an amazing Hardcore Champion!
Persephone: Charlie is pulling Lexi up by her hair, and I think he has a few words for his challenger now!
Charlie Marr: (off-mic) You shouldn’t have come to my show. You’re not ready for-
James Peters: OH! LOW BLOW!!! LEXI WITH A LOW BLOW ON CHARLIE MARR!!! We all know Lexi isn’t above using underhanded tactics but in a match like this that was perfectly legal! Lexi now dropping down and grabbing the lid of the garbage can, AND SHE SWINGS IT RIGHT INTO THE SIDE OF CHARLIE’S HEAD AS HARD AS SHE CAN, DROPPING HIM TO THE GROUND!!!
Rich Russillo: Lexi is slowly crawling away back to the barricade, knowing that the finish has to take place inside of the ring unless blood is drawn! Lexi finally manages to pull herself up over the barricade as Charlie is just now starting to stir, and it looks like Lexi is taking the time to dig under the ring and get some more weapons! Lexi pulling a ladder out from under the ring as she sets one side up on the barricade and the other side on the ring apron, and it looks like she’s made some sort of ladder bridge!
Persephone: Lexi now pulling out a kendo stick just as Charlie starts to make it over towards the barricade- AND INSTEAD OF JUST CLIMBING OVER CHARLIE JUST GRABBED ANOTHER FANS’ CHAIR BEFORE THROWING IT AT LEXI, STOPPING HER FROM CATCHING HIM OFF GUARD AND ATTACKING HIM WHILE HE’S CLIMBING OVER THE BARRICADE!! Charlie Marr now climbing over the barricade, AND NOW HE RUSHES OVER TOWARDS LEXI BUT LEXI IS ABLE TO LAND A BACK ELBOW TO THE MIDSECTION, FORCING CHARLIE TO BACK OFF JUST ENOUGH FOR HER TO WHACK HIM WITH THE KENDO STICK!! CHARLIE DROPS TO A KNEE, AND NOW LEXI HITS HIM IN THE BACK WITH THE KENDO STICK!

(Charlie is forced to pull himself into the ring, and Veena and Lexi share a look of pure hatred.)
Lexi: (off-mic) You better stay out of the way.
Veena Adams: (off-mic) I haven’t done anything. Do you really think I need to get involved for Charlie to beat you? :mjlol2:
James Peters: Charlie rolls back into the ring before making his way into the corner, grabbing onto the middle turnbuckle as Lexi slides back into the ring! A huge chunk of this match was spent out at ringside, but now we’re back and pinfalls or submissions could take place here! Lexi now, HITTING CHARLIE IN THE BACK WITH THE KENDO STICK ONCE AGAIN! Lexi now pulling Charlie out of the corne- WAIT A SECOND!!! CHARLIE PULLS LEXI DOWN FACE FIRST INTO THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE, WHICH LOOKS LIKE IT’S BEEN EXPOSED!!! CHARLIE USED A SIMILAR TRICK AGAINST ARIA, HE SNEAKILY REMOVED THE TURNBUCKLE PADDING AND CAUGHT LEXI OFF GUARD!! Lexi keeps being distracted by Veena, and it’s giving Charlie just enough time to do stuff like that!
Rich Russillo: Charlie didn’t pull Lexi into the turnbuckle hard enough for her to bleed but it was definitely enough to stun her! Charlie pulls himself up onto the middle rope as Lexi slowly pulls herself back up to her feet- AND CHARLIE DIVES AT LEXI!! DEATH OR GLORY CONNECTS!!!! CHARLIE MARR NOW WITH THE VERY FIRST COVER OF THE MATCH, AND HE STARES DIRECTLY AT MINERVA AS HE PINS LEXI, KNOWING THAT THIS MATCH MIGHT JUST BE OVER!

Persephone: LEXI GOT THE SHOULDER UP!!! Lexi just got the shoulder up right before three! Wow, that was really close!
(TIMER: 4:21)
(Minerva just shakes her head after seeing Lexi get the shoulder up, which annoys Charlie as he turns his attention to Lexi.)
Minerva: (off-mic) What’s the matter, Charlie? I thought you had this handled. It’s only Lexi, and Veena’s been lending you a helping hand.
James Peters: That comment clearly pissed Charlie off, AND NOW HE JUST BEGINS VICIOUSLY STOMPING ALL OVER LEXI, FORCING HER INTO THE CORNER AS HE JUST CONTINUES STOMPING AWAY AT HIS CHALLENGER! THIS IS A HARDCORE MATCH, SO CHARLIE CAN KEEP DOING THIS UP UNTIL TIME IS UP!
Rich Russillo: Charlie Marr finally lets go of Lexi, but only because he clearly has something else in mind! Charlie picks the kendo stick up as Lexi uses the turnbuckles to pull herself back to her feet, AND NOW CHARLIE MARR STARTS CHOKING LEXI USING THE KENDO STICK, PRESSING IT AGAINST HER THROAT AS HARD AS HE CAN! THERE ARE NO ROPE BREAKS IN A MATCH LIKE THIS, SO IF LEXI PASSES OUT OR TAPS OUT THEN CHARLIE MARR RETAINS THE HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP! CHARLIE ONCE AGAIN TURNS HIS ATTENTION TOWARDS MINERVA, AND WE ALL KNOW HOW THINGS HAVE BEEN BETWEEN THESE TWO!
James Peters: Yeah, and I think Charlie tonight has just been trying to prove a point! Minerva clearly isn’t having it though, and just tells Charlie that he should focus on his opponent! Lexi is fading though, and there’s a good chance Charlie might not even have an opponent before long! Lexi is trying to push the kendo stick off of her, but she’s in no way stronger than Charlie Marr, who’s twice her size! Lexi might not have a choice here but to give up, as frustrating as that must be for her!
Rich Russillo: Wait wait wait, LEXI GETS HER BOOT UP, AND SHE STARTS KICKING AT CHARLIE REPEATEDLY, FORCING CHARLIE TO BACK OFF JUST ENOUGH FOR LEXI TO MOVE THE KENDO STICK- BUT IT LOOKS LIKE CHARLIE WAS WAITING FOR THAT AS HE WHACKS HER WITH THE KENDO STICK ONCE MORE! Charlie now holding Lexi by the hair, and this has not been good for Lexi! She had the upper hand right before they got back in the ring, but since then Charlie has completely taken control! Charlie tosses Lexi into the ropes, but Lexi holds onto them instead of bouncing off! Charlie now choosing to charge in!
Persephone: AND LEXI PULLS DOWN THE TOP ROPE, SENDING CHARLIE OVER THE ROPES AND OUT ONTO THE LADDER BRIDGE THAT LEXI SET UP EARLIER!!! LEXI REALIZES THIS AND QUICKLY STARTS CLIMBING UP THE TURNBUCKLES AND ONTO THE TOP ROPE!! CHARLIE MARR HASN’T MOVED AND NOW THIS IS LEXI’S BEST CHANCE AT TAKING HIM OUT!
James Peters: HEART STOPPER!!!!! LEXI WITH THE HEART STOPPER ON CHARLIE MARR, TAKING BOTH ELITISTS THROUGH THE LADDER!!!! LEXI JUST HIT AN AMAZING MOONSAULT ON CHARLIE MARR, AND THE CROWD JUST EXPLODED IN CHEERS FOR WHAT WE’RE SEEING IN TONIGHT’S OPENING MATCH! Lexi is far from a fan favorite, but everyone loves what they’re seeing right now!
Rich Russillo: Minerva slowly walks towards the area, watching real closely with a smirk on her face as Lexi rolls Charlie into the ring! Lexi rolls back into the ring, AND NOW SHE HOOKS THE LEGS!!! LEXI LOOKING TO BECOME THE HARDCORE CHAMPION AFTER SUCH A BEAUTIFUL MOONSAULT!!!

Rich Russillo: CHARLIE MARR KICKS OUT!!! WHAT??? HOW DID CHARLIE MARR JUST KICK OUT AFTER A MOONSAULT THROUGH A LADDER??? I can’t believe it, but this match isn’t over!
James Peters: Lexi slowly rolls off of Charlie Marr, and she’s just shaking her head both in disbelief and exhaustion! That was one of, if not the best shot Lexi could’ve gotten in that entire match, and somehow it wasn’t enough to get the job done! It’s not like Lexi has time to spare here either to come up with another strategy, the clock is ticking and we’re running out of time! Lexi slowly rolls back out of the ring and grabs the first half of the steel steps before sliding them into the ring! Charlie Marr rolls out of the ring in the meantime, and Lexi looks under the ring before grabbing a sledgehammer!
Rich Russillo: Lexi approaching Charlie Marr who is using the ring apron to keep himself up, AND LEXI TRIES TO SLAM THE SLEDGEHAMMER INTO CHARLIE’S MIDSECTION, BUT CHARLIE GRABS ONTO IT BEFORE PUSHING THE HAMMER INTO HER STOMACH INSTEAD! CHARLIE NOW WITH A HEADBUTT WHICH STUNS LEXI, AND CHARLIE GRABS ONTO THE ROPES TO KEEP HIMSELF STANDING BEFORE KICKING LEXI IN THE MIDSECTION! Rich Russillo: Charlie grabs Minerva, but Minerva lands a surprising punch to the jaw, staggering Charlie after the offense he’s taken throughout the match! Minerva clearly wasn’t prepared for that attack as she uses the apron to pull herself back up, BUT CHARLIE LANDS A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION!

Charlie slowly pulls himself up, and the referee hands him the Hardcore Championship as Minerva can be seen in the timekeepers area, slowly getting up and recovering from the sledgehammer shots and spinebuster.)
James Peters: What an opening match for Voltage! Charlie Marr retains the Hardcore Championship with a fantastic performance! I’ll be the first to say that it wasn’t easy with Lexi putting in a great effort, getting in excellent shots on Charlie Marr!

The crowd is booing the living heck out of this woman, but Eden does her best to wear a smile on her face and continue on with this.)
Eden Sinclair: Can you feel the excitement in the air?
(The crowd has a mixed reception of Eden Sinclair who pays no mind to them. Not even the negative reception of the fans is enough to bring her spirits down from the news that she is going to deliver.)
Eden Sinclair: I know, it’s a very exciting time as we approach the end of the year and with Wicked Games on the horizon, we on Voltage and Disney can promise you that we are going to bring the best wrestling possible! As we’ll promote Wicked Games a little more as the show progresses, my reasons for being out here are for the betterment of the Voltage brand, EAW, and Disney in the long-run. I have always looked out for the best interest of EAW and Disney because I want to see this partnership flourish. I want to see these two mega-giants become even more powerful than Thanos with the Infinity stones. With the objective being that, it’s my duty to look at the best representation for Disney. To me, that is what The Ice Aces were supposed to be. They were supposed to be a crop of women who were going to be the faces of what we are looking for in Disney. Instead, I was duped by them. I thought they were actual stars in the making, but I was wrong and I take full responsibility for that. I am sorry that The Ice Aces were not the women that we thought they were.
Eden Sinclair: I am sorry that The Ices Aces were nothing more than disrespectful for their actions towards me at Territorial Invasion. It’s terrible that they were more than willing to attack me, someone, who was able to take the risk on the three of them, take them to the next level and promise everything that their hearts desire. I do all of that, but I’m seen as the bully. I am seen as evil, vindictive, and someone who abuses her power. I gave them an opportunity at qualifying for the Specialists Chamber and I’m seen as the bad guy? I care about Voltage and want to give out the best wrestling possible and I’m seen as this cruel human being? That’s not in my character and this perfect Disney representative sees that.
(The crowd gets a little anxious as Eden Sinclair forms her trademark ‘sweet’ smile. The purpose for Eden being out here is clear. Everyone wants to know who she has selected as the perfect Disney representative to take the brand to new heights.)
Eden Sinclair: I can go on about this Disney representative, but she is just perfect. She’s kind, compassionate, intelligent, someone who always wears her emotions on her sleeve and wants to see the best in people, and is just as beautiful as a Disney princess. She has all the makings of being a wonderful Disney princess. She has it and from our few conversations in the past couple of weeks, I’ve gotten to know her and our beliefs just align with each other. It’s like “finally, someone who sees where I’m coming from!” We want nothing more than the best for Disney. She wants nothing more than to take this brand to newer heights. This woman has all the qualities that Disney has been looking for too. She might as well call herself ‘The Face of Disney’ because she has that marketable appeal to appeal to little girls. She is a strong and poised role model for women. She embodies everything that this season is and I could not be any more proud that she is a member of the Voltage roster!

(The crowd jumps out of their seats, roaring in cheering as ‘Rhapsody In Pink’ by Stela Cole begins to play through the speakers of The Yaoundé Multipurpose Sports Complex! A moment passes before a huge, pumpkin carriage pulls out from the side of the ramp. A lot similar to the one in Cinderella. The carriage stops near the ramp as a chauffeur steps down from the front and opens the door of the carriage. A glass slipper is revealed first before it’s revealed to be Candice Blair, in a blue brocade dress with rhinestone details, sheer cap sleeves, satin bow accents, and a black ribbon choker. To top off the outfit, she has a golden crown on her high-hair bun.)
James Peters: Holy crud, it’s Candice Blair! It’s actually Candice Blair! We haven’t seen her since Pain for Pride!
Rich Russillo: She looks FANTASTIC! She is the “perfect Disney representative” that Eden Sinclair has been going around and honestly, I should have seen it coming. With the Avas being out of action due to personal matters, it was about time that one of them at least showed up, but I would have never guessed that it would be Candice Blair!

James Peters: According to some dirt sheets, Ms. Extreme has been out with an injury; Cameron has been out due to contract negotiation conflicts, but it’s unclear why Candice has been out of the picture for a while, so I’m wondering if we’re going to figure all of that out soon enough?

I was once a ‘Hot Commodity’ around the independent circuit and while I am still one of the hottest professional wrestlers in the scene, it seems like I’ve made Elite Answers Wrestling my home in the past couple of years and most importantly, Voltage, so it was a joy that I am back on the yellow brand with bestie Captain Charisma and now, Eden Sinclair. :blessed:
Candice Blair: Like, most of you all have a million, billion questions about my whereabouts. “Candice, bestie, where have you been after you got your revenge on your former bestie, Danny Tanner?” “Candice, queen, aren’t you excited with EAW going all Disney?” “Candice, you’re like a princess, you realize that you can make the most out of this?” “Candice, what album on Taylor Swift’s ‘Midnights’ album are you looking forward too?” I plan to answer ALL of those questions, but…✨lavender haze.✨
Candice Blair: Okay, so explanation time because the Ava Army deserves to know about my absence since Pain for Pride. Honestly, it was for ✨mental health ✨ reasons. Honestly, if any of you have ever been in a very personal rivalry with your bestie, you would understand how draining that stuff can be. Going into that situation with Danny really was horrible. It was heartbreaking and devastating for me because if you have gotten to know me, I wear my heart on my sleeve. I am loyal to all of my besties, so when someone crosses me, trying to elevate themselves at the expense of me, it rubs me the wrong way. I knew that after I put that chapter with Danny behind me, I wanted to take a step aside and figure out what I wanted for myself, but it wasn’t goodbye because I hate those. With those whole announcements of Disney and their one-year deal with EAW, I could not be more ecstatic because I LOVE Disney!
(Instantly, the crowd boos for that last sentence because Disney has managed to not only piss off Elitists in the back but the EAW Universe as well. Candice seems a little off guard by the hatred that the fans have for Disney, but it makes her chuckle as she forms a small and sincere smile on her face.)
Candice Blair: I knew I was gonna get that reception, but geez, hear me out, first. Living around the Los Angeles area, Disney has always been at arm’s length. I loved Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. I sobbed like a baby watching Dumbo. I sang along with Ariel to ‘Part of Your World’ Halle Bailey is such a beautiful Ariel and I cannot wait for the live-action movie. 😄 I even love the High School Musical movies. Oh, don’t get me started on Frozen because I can belt out ‘Let It Go’ like no tomorrow! But yeah, I adore Disney. It’s my childhood, teenagehood, and now, adulthood. I cannot be more than stoked about this entire crossover. I was even more stoked about the opportunity that Disney gave to me after Pain for Pride to live a dream of mine and that’s being a Disney princess.
Candice Blair: So, I was given the opportunity by a Disney executive to be ‘The Face of Disney.’ Now, I almost woke up Desmond when I got the phone call because it’s freaking Disney, guys. They looked at me as someone who lit up the entire room when they stepped in. They saw my match with Danny Tanner and they saw my heart, determination, desire, and never give up attitude. They saw a role model with how I carried myself throughout the whole turmoil with Danny. They saw my activism and how poised I was during one of my q&a sessions on Instagram. They saw a woman who would be the best representative of the vision that EAW and Disney want to take to the next level and I could not be more than honored. I accepted their offer and I was on my way to ‘Disney Princess School’ that most Disney cast members go to before being able to go out there and cosplay as the princess they were hired to be. In school, I learned how to talk like a princess, how to carry myself, and be the best representative that Disney deserves. When I got a call from Eden Sinclair a few weeks ago about needing a representative for Voltage, I knew that I had found my opportunity to return, and ✨I’M BAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCKKKKKK✨

Candice Blair: Eden, queen, I see you. I see the vision that you want EAW to be and I could not be more than onboard with that vision. With Season 16, we have Elitists who have decided to complicate this process. For a motto that’s always been ‘Trust the Process,’ a lot of Elitists have gone against this whole Disney change and it hurts me. It breaks my heart because many people are deciding to be so closed-minded with seeing Disney and EAW form this beautiful, fairytale-like alliance and want to see it fail. Why are we against all of this change? Because they’re asking us to reduce our use of profanity? We’re not a bunch of teenagers needing to throw swear words around. Maybe, stop being so closed-minded, open your eyes, and then, your creativity will expand. I would have liked to think that we are all mature enough to use our words and get our points across in the most effective way possible. Because it strips us of ‘creative freedom?’ Maybe, you all were one-dimensional, to begin with. Maybe, you all need to see things from multiple perspectives and realize that this partnership is something that EAW needs to be around for a long, long, LONG time.
Candice Blair: It’s a shame that many of you don’t see that and decide to be a bunch of rebellious children, who throw tantrums when they don’t like anything. It’s also a shame that there are people who would DENY an opportunity to be ‘The Face of Disney’ — something that could have benefitted their careers —

Pinky!’ by The Idol Formerly Known as LADYBABY cuts off Candice Blair, who seems caught off guard upon hearing the entrance music of The Ice Aces — ARIA, Ayu Megumi, and Usagi Senshi The crowd is up on their feet for The Ice Aces. Eden Sinclair looks irked just looking at The Ice Aces, but she keeps a serious look on her face, trying to assure Candice that everything will be fine.)
Usagi Senshi: Candice, please say sike.
Ayu Megumi: Please.
ARIA: Honestly, I knew that this could be a possibility. I decided to do a little detective work on who the possible representative could be, but since it’s reality, Candice, I need to ask you something — WHY WOULD YOU SIDE WITH EDEN SINCLAIR? Why would you ever consider working for someone like Eden? I wouldn’t blame you if you were out of loop with everything that Eden has done to the Voltage roster, especially us, but I would suggest watching our match at Territorial Invasion, but to give you the spark notes version of events, Eden is not this misunderstood woman that you think that she is. She knows exactly what she is doing. She can play this naive role, but we know exactly who she is.
Usagi Senshi: That woman standing next to you, Candice, is the same woman who tried to get your ‘amigo’ TLA fired. Since day one, she has had an issue with TLA and what he stood for. You, Candice, are someone who has always prided herself in being herself throughout the highs and lows of what EAW decides to throw at her. Well, Eden has done her best to take away the one thing that made TLA, TLA, and try to place him in a box. The moment that she realized that TLA was not going to conform to the Disney standard, she decided to ask Drake King for help in trying to get him fired. Remember your issues with Drake and how he’s someone who is alright with everything that Eden has done? Are you really going to look past that?
Ayu Megumi: Eden is the same woman who really tried to use ARIA for her own personal gain, promising ARIA all of these amazing things, but it meant trying to take ARIA away from us.
ARIA: All of those compliments that Eden used for you? She used the same with me. She tried to butter me up, trying to make me think that she was this amazing person who wanted to look out for me, Usagi, and Ayu. She really wanted to use us as a marketing ploy for Disney. She even looked at me as someone who could be ‘The Face of Disney’ and when she realized that I wasn’t going to be a pawn in her game, she decided to go against The Ice Aces, doing everything in her power to destroy the bond that the three of us have with each other. That’s the reason why the three of us are facing off for a Specialists Chamber spot at Wicked Games. She is willing to dangle a special opportunity like that above us and watch us destroy each other.
Ayu Megumi: Ask Camille how it felt to have an authority figure try to pin her and the Beating Hearts across each other to the point that they had to rely on each other. Now, you want to be on the side of that authority figure? How can anyone want to work with someone who is as evil, vindictive, and selfish as Eden Sinclair? This is what makes this confusing for us, Candice. You always had a pure heart. You have always believed in what is right — until now and that is what makes this sad. You want to be on the losing side of this war —
Candice Blair: Ladies, listen, I respect the three of you. I am listening to all sides of the topic because that’s the activist in me. That’s the woman who is trying to look at this opportunity from all different perspectives. I understand that you and Eden haven’t had the most solid working relationship. As you can see from the beginning of the season, Eden has tried to get to know the roster. She has tried to assure you that she had these amazing things lined up for you. Do you not realize that the three of you had the biggest opportunity of your life? To not only be an inspiration for EAW and the LGBTQIA+, but for Disney? Usagi, Ayu, you could have been the proper example for Disney to really open that box and allow people to realize that love is love. That it’s okay to love who you want to love. ARIA, you could have been so great for Disney. You had all the qualities that could have been a great princess. Kind, caring, compassionate, and someone who is able to look at the positive at things. Why would you ruin that for yourself?
ARIA: Because she wanted to use me for my detective skills. She wanted me as someone who would give her what she wants. She even tried to bribe me with an opportunity at the Hardcore Championship, but I am able to see through all of that. The thing with being a detective is being able to read all the signs; the smallest things that you believe that no one will be able to pick out do not escape my eyes. Eventually, who’s to say that Eden would eventually turn her back on you? The moment that you do something that you don’t like —
Candice Blair: I understand your concerns and it’s great that the three of you are looking out for me. I really appreciate the sisterhood that The Ice Aces have with each other and it’s such a shame that Disney won’t be able to capitalize on that. Eden has told me that quite a few members of the roster have been rubbed the wrong way by her approach to matters. Once again, this is an opportunity that one would be stupid to pass on. I’ve always prided myself on getting ✨the bag✨ so, it was a no-brainer that the moment I had this opportunity given to me, I would accept it with arms wide open. James Peters: LOOK BEHIND USAGI SENSHI AND ARIA, IT’S HARUKA KASHIMASHI WHO TOOK DOWN USAGI SENSHI! NOW, IT’S HALSEY NEEL, WHO CLUBS THE BACK OF ARIA’S HEAD, BUT IT SEEMS LIKE ARIA WAS MORE THAN READY FOR IT! THE TWO WOMEN BEGIN TO UNLOAD WITH PUNCHES AND KICKS WITH EACH OTHER! HARUKA HAS USAGI BACKED INTO THE CORNER, BUT AYU MEGUMI COMES TO THE AID OF HER PARTNER BY CLUBBING THE BACK OF HARUKA’S HEAD! AYU CONNECTS WITH A SERIES OF CHOPS TO THE CHEST OF HARUKA, BUT HARUKA CONNECTS WITH A GIANT KNEE THAT TAKES AYU DOWN TO HER KNEES!
(Candice Blair and Eden Sinclair exit the ring as they can totally see that things are going to get out of hand. With the two women standing on the bottom of the ramp, looking at all the action, Kylie Grace makes her way from the back, not wanting to find herself in that altercation because it’s not her thing to do and attack people when they least expect it.)
Rich Russillo: Kylie Grace making her time down the ramp as she is the last member of the opposing team of The Ice Aces. Haruka Kashimashi throws Usagi Senshi through the middle rope and out of the ring as she exits the ring herself! Haruka battery rams Usagi through the barricade before unloading on a series of punches! Meanwhile, Halsey Neel is able to pick up ARIA from her chin, BUT ARIA WITH A HEADBUTT AS THAT STAGGERS HALSEY BACK! ARIA TAKES HER DOWN WITH A ‘J4A’ — RUNNING KNEE STRIKE, BUT KYLIE GRACE GETS HALSEY AND PULLS HER OUT OF THE RING BEFORE ARIA COULD CONNECT WITH THE MOVE! THE TWO OF THEM ARE LOOKING AT USAGI, WHO WAS ABLE TO BE PULLED OUT OF HARM’S WAY BY AYU MEGUMI! HARUKA GOES TO HER SIDE WITH HALSEY AND KYLIE. MEANWHILE, LOOK AT THE CORNER!
Persephone: IT’S ARIA WHO IS ON THE TOP TURNBUCKLE AND CONNECTS WITH A MOONSAULT, LANDING ON KYLIE GRACE, HARUKA KASHIMASHI, AND HALSEY NEEL! THE CROWD IS ON THEIR FEET AS USAGI SENSHI AND AYU MEGUMI GO PICK UP ARIA AND PULL THEM TO THEIR SIDE!
(The two trios are staring down one another, more than fired up for their Trios Tornado tag team match later tonight. The camera pans to Eden Sinclair and Candice Blair who are standing on top of the ramp and away from all the action. Eden retrieves a microphone from a producer before going to speak something through the mic.)
Eden Sinclair: Since all of you are there, it seems like you’re more than ready to compete. Well then, this Trios Tornado match begins…RIGHT NOW! RING THE BELL REF!
(The crowd is completely losing it as Usagi Senshi unloads on Haruka Kashimashi! ARIA goes right after Halsey Neel and Ayu Megumi and Kylie Grace are trying to give a wonderful confrontation for the fans.)
James Peters: We’re starting this Trios Tornado match! :damn: :damn: and it’s off to an explosive start, but stay tuned, we got more of this action to come!
(As the six women continue to brawl, Voltage fades to a commercial break.)
(Commercial for Wicked Games, where Haruka Kashimashi, Kylie Grace and Halsey Neel compete for a chance to enter the Specialists Championship Extreme Elimination Chamber.)
(Voltage opens back up to utter chaos at ringside.)
(The camera pans to see Eden Sinclair and the new face of Disney, Candice Blair sitting at ringside watching all of this chaos.)
James Peters: You heard it before the break that this Trios match starts right now, and everybody in this match have started off guns blazing. ARIA is already out at ringside as she and Usagi are double teaming Halsey on the outside! They then double Halsey over and throw her shoulder first into the barricade, but Haruka runs up behind both of them, but the numbers are too much as they overpower her before throwing Haruka back into the ring.
James Peters: Usagi runs in first and runs at Haruka, BUT HARUKA PULLS THE ROPE DOWN AS SHE FLIES OVER THE TOP ROPE!! But before Usagi could get back in the ring, Kylie stops her at ringside and the two of them begin brawling with one another at ringside. This is just pure madness and the match has barely started. Back inside the ring, Ayu jumps on top of Haruka and begins hammering away at the back before repeatedly driving her knee into the nose! And then Haruka pulls her in and then takes her out with a ripcord knee strike! Haruka turns around – AND THEN IN COMES A FLYING ARIA WITH A CROSSBODY!! ARIA FOLLOWS IT WITH THE FIRST COVER!!

James Peters: Haruka kicks out of it and ARIA looks to stay on the attack here, but before she can – HALSEY FROM OUT OF NOWHERE RUNS AND NEARLY DECAPITATES ARIA WITH A BIG BOOT TO THE FACE! No room to breathe for anybody in this match so far as Halsey picks her up and then delivers an uppercut to the jaw that drives ARIA into the corner, and Halsey begins to choke the life out of her!!
Rich Russillo: We pan to ringside where Kylie and Usagi are still going at it, and Kylie looks to have the upper hand as Usagi stumbles back a few feet, AND HERE COMES KYLIE WITH A FULL HEAD OF STEAM , BUT USAGI COUNTERS WITH A HIP TOSS AS KYLIE LANDS HARD BACK FIRST ON TOP OF THE STEEL STEPS!! OUCH!! AND HERE COMES AYU RUNNING OFF THE APRON AND DELIVERS A LEG DROP ON THE UPPER BODY OF KYLIE THAT CAUSES KYLIE TO FALLS OFF THE STEPS TO THE GROUND! Ayu and ARIA turn around now to go help their friend – HARUKA TAKES THEM BOTH OUT WITH A DOUBLE SPEAR AT RINGSIDE!!!
Persephone: Everybody looks to be down besides the two in the ring as Halsey has control over ARIA and picks her up on the top rope, Halsey goes up and goes for a superplex….but ARIA isn’t making it easy – AND IN ONE SWIFT MOTION ARIA DELIVERS A SUNSET FLIP BOMB FROM THE TOP ROPE BEFORE GOING FOR ANOTHER COVER!!!

Halsey dropping ARIA with a spinebuster, AND LOOK!! UP TOP!! THE DIVING SENTON BY HARUKA KASHIMASHI ON TOP OF ARIA BEFORE SHE COULD GET UP!! AND HERE’S A COVER FROM HARUKA!!

Rich Russillo: AYU FROM THE OUTSIDE PULLS HARUKA OUT OF THE RING AND THEN TOSSES HER INTO THE STEEL STEPS! BUT FROM BEHIND…KYLIE IS BACK IN THE MATCH AS SHE RUNS AND SPEARS AYU ALL THE WAY INTO THE BARRICADE AT FULL SPEED!! Kylie is holding her neck in pain from the leg drop earlier, and now Usagi runs at her….BUT KYLIE SIDESTEPS IT AND SENDS USAGI RIGHT INTO HER ICE ACES PARTNER AS THEY COLLIDE! And Kylie can now turn her attention to helping her partner inside the ring.
James Peters: Kylie slides in and checks on her partner before making her way over to ARIA and picking her up going for perhaps a suplex….but ARIA lands on her feet from behind Kylie and tries to roll her up, BUT KYLIE HELD ON TO THE ROPES!! ARIA rolls back up to her feet – BUT HALSEY WAS WAITING FOR HER WITH A SPINNING LARIAT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! Halsey tells Kylie to keep guard for the other opponents AS HALSEY SETS ARIA UP PICKING HER UP IN THE FIREMAN’S CARRY LOOKING FOR “BLOOD ON THE LEAVES!!” USAGI THOUGH RUSHES SLIDING IN, KYLIE TRIES TO STOP HER BUT IS OVERPOWERED AS USAGI PUSHES HER BACKWARDS INTO HALSEY CAUSING HER TO DROP ARIA! Smart thinking there from Usagi to save her partner there.
Persephone: Usagi quickly checks on ARIA before turning her attention to their opponents. She delivers a dropkick that sends Halsey through the second rope to the outside floor before charging at Kylie in the corner – BUT KYLIE REVERSES WITH A BACK BODY DROP LEAPING USAGI OVER THE TOP ROPE….AND OH MY GOD!!!! HARUKA FINISHED IT OFF WAITING FOR USAGI ON THE OUTSIDE WITH A SUPERKICK!!! Some accidental teamwork there from Kylie and Haruka as it eliminated Usagi from the equation at least for the time being.
James Peters: ARIA RUNS UP FROM BEHIND ON KYLIE AND HITS A DROPKICK AS KYLIE’S HEAD WHIPLASHES OFF THE CORNER! Haruka rushes back into the ring and ARIA goes for the clothesline….but Haruka ducks under and runs off of the ropes – A SPINNING KICK CATCHES ARIA IN THE FACE AS SHE DROPS DOWN ON TOP FOR THE COVER!!

Kylie is seated against the barricade holding the arm – AND AYU DRIVES THE KNEE INTO THE FACE!! Kylie looks to be out cold as Ayu climbs up the apron….
James Peters: HARUKA LOOKS TO KNOCK HER OFF THE APRON, BUT AYU DRIVES A FOREARM INTO THE FACE! SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK FROM AYU!! Ayu might have regained control for the Ice Aces as she – HALSEY RUNS UP BEHIND HER AND DRILLS HER IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD!! SHE GRABS AHOLD OF THE ARM AND HAS A KIMURA LOCK APPLIED ON AYU! AYU MAY BE IN SOME SERIOUS DANGER HERE WITH NOBODY TO SAVE HER, WHAT IS SHE GOING TO DO? AYU TRIES TO CRAWL HERSELF TO THE ROPES AND SHE’S INCHES AWAY – BUT HALSEY PULLS HER BACK TO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!! IS SHE GOING TO TAP OUT HERE?!
Persephone: ARIA IS BACK IN THE MAYHEM AS SHE BREAKS IT UP WITH A SUPERKICK TO THE FACE!! ARIA STOPS HER FROM FALLING AS SHE GETS HALSEY IN PRIME POSITION – “IT’S RAINING CATS AND DOGS!!!” THE HEADLOCK DRIVE RIGHT INTO THE MAT AS ARIA FLIPS HALSEY ON HER BACK AND HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE VICTORY!!

Rich Russillo: HARUKA BREAKS UP THE PIN! AND USAGI RUNS IN AND TAKES OUT HARUKA WITH A RUNNING KNEE!! Usagi is still shook from that mid air superkick earlier but she’s back in it and her and ARIA have a two on one advantage here. Halsey tries to fight back against the two of them but is overwhelmed quickly. Ayu limps back to her feet, and the Ice Aces are all three standing together and look to take control.
(The Ice Aces look at Candice and Eden on the outside and the four of them inaudibly argue with one another. )
Persephone: Umm if I were them, I would pay attention to the match cause chaos is everywhere. They turn their attention and they go to pick up Halsey to perhaps put an end to this….KYLIE WITH THE CROSSBODY FROM THE TOP ON ALL THREE MEMBERS OF THE ICE ACES!!
James Peters: NO!!! THEY CATCH HER, DEAD PRESS HER AND THEN TOSS HER TO THE OUTSIDE FLOOR!! The Ice Qces threw her right at the feet of Candice too. Another factor eliminated as Halsey stands in the corner and realizes she’s at a huge three on one disadvantage, AND SHE BEGINS SWINGING ON ALL THREE OF THEM, BUT THE NUMBERS GAME IS TOO MUCH AS THE ICE ACES ARE ALMOST LIKE A PACK OF WOLVES! Usagi tells her teammates to stand her up, what do they have in mind here – OH MY!! HARUKA WITH THE RESCUE AS SHE PULLS USAGI OUT FROM UNDER THE BOTTOM ROPE, AND THEN DRILLS HER WITH A REVERSE STO ON THE OUTSIDE!! Here comes the other Ice Aces members…a roundhouse kick to Ayu, and then ARIA swings…BUT HARUKA DUCKS AND THEN DRIVES ARIA FACE FIRST INTO THE RING POST!!
Persephone: Haruka may have just saved the match for her team there as Halsey looked to be in a dangerous situation right there. Ayu stands and turns to face Haruka, ONLY TO GET HIT WITH A LEAPING DOUBLE LEG LARIAT!!! Haruka tosses Ayu back inside and slides in almost stalking her…A SHINING WIZARD TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD THAT SOUNDED LIKE A GUNSHOT! AND HARUKA IMMEDIATELY HOOKS THE ARMS…AND SHE LOCKS IN “TIEBREAKER!!!” THE CATTLE MUTILATION SUBMISSION IS LOCKED IN, AND AYU IS IN SERIOUS SERIOUS TROUBLE RIGHT NOW!! Ayu is trying to fight but is having no luck and she might tap here –

Halsey looks to be a bit shaken up from how she landed on the outside as well delivering that move.
James Peters: And meanwhile back inside the ring Ayu pulls herself up in the corner gingerly still feeling the effects from “Tiebreaker.” She scans her surroundings seeing nobody around and approaches Haruka laid out on the mat this just may be her chanc – AND LOOK OUT FROM BEHIND!!! KYLIE GRACE ROLLS AYU UP FROM BEHIND!!

Halsey lets go and goes to pick her up but ARIA holds on to the bottom rope for dear life, and it’s not a bad strategy.

Haruka is mad she didn’t see ARIA sneak in and she runs and spears her through the second rope to the outside floor.

James Peters; Inside the ring, Usagi and Kylie stand, and both of them exchange shots with one another. Usagi swings but misses as Kylie brings her down and hits a reverse DDT!! Kylie looks to be in control now – BUT NOT FOR LONG AS AYU DELIVERS AN ELBOW DROP STRAIGHT TO THE HEART BEFORE KYLIE COULD GET UP! AND AYU WITH THE COVER FOR THE VICTORY!!

ARIA DISPOSES OF HARUKA ON THE OUTSIDE AND POPS BEHIND KYLIE, BUT KYLIE SEES IT COMING AND DELIVERS SEVERAL FOREARMS TO THE FACE OF ARIA!! AND ARIA LOOKS TO BE ON SPAGHETTI LEGS NOW AS KYLIE – THE KY – KICK!!!!!” KYLIE’S GOT IT AS SHE GOES FOR THE COVER!!!
Rich Russillo: BEFORE SHE MAKES THE COVER, USAGI IS BACK IN IT AS SHE QUICKLY PICKS KYLIE UP – “CRITICAL DARLING!!!!” THE SAMOAN DRIVER FROM USAGI – BUT NO AS HALSEY SAVES KYLIE FROM THE IMPACT!!!! HALSEY THEN DELIVERS A SPINNING LARIAT TO USAGI! Halsey checks on Kylie who is seated in the corner now and Halsey knows this is likely her best chance to perhaps put this match away for good for her team-
James Peters: But Usagi Senshi rolls out of the ring! Usagi to the outside as she catches her breath to recover and that was smart timing. Usagi knew that she was in trouble and about to be put away but she smartly got out of the danger zone.
(Usagi walks over to Candice and Eden, and she clearly isn’t too happy.)
Usagi Senshi: (off-mic) You have no idea what you’re doing, and you’re going to look stupid once Eden shows you her true colors.
Candice Blair: (off-mic) You should focus on your match. Stop worrying about me.
Rich Russillo: But suddenly Halsey Neel slides by with a Baseball Slide to Usagi on the outside of the ring! Usagi Senshi moves out of the way! Eden Sinclair is running around the ring to the other side to avoid the commotion as Usagi lights up Halsey with repeated strikes on the outside. Usagi making a strong comeback here as she locks Halsey into a Sharpshooter on the floor keeping her trapped!
James Peters: Meanwhile back in the ring Ayu Megumi and Haruka Kashimashi are facing off! Ayu with a Snapmare takedown on Haruka as she traps her in the middle of the ring trying to damage her. James Peters: What!? How can you be happy with this result! That was blatant interference! This is an outrage! I am sick and tired of Eden and her meddling!
Rich Russillo: There is clear hatred on the face of Usagi Senshi, and ARIA quickly goes to check on Ayu as Candice heads to the back with Eden Sinclair. I don’t know what just happened there, but all I can say is this. Candice Blair is back, and whether or not that’s a good thing remains to be seen!
James Peters: Seeing the look on Usagi’s face, there’ll definitely be hell to pay after what happened tonight.
(The camera cuts to a convoluted multi-year presentation of the various Disney phases for the EAW Cinematic Universe scheduled across the next five years with release dates that are sure to be delayed before they are reached.)
(The camera cuts backstage to a massive ovation from fans at seeing Captain Charisma in his office, sitting behind his desk, talking on the phone to someone unknown, disgruntled after having just gotten done watching the fuckery that went down during the Trios Tornado Match on his TV monitor, which is hung up on a wall.)
Captain Charisma: (shaking his head) Candice, Candice, Candice. Why? I don’t know what to even say about that. I’m going to have to talk to her. Eden is the last person she needs to be involved with.
(Just then, Captain Charisma is interrupted by someone who knocks on his door, utilizing the rhythm of “Shave and a Haircut, Two Bits.” CC shakes his head, slightly annoyed at having his speech, along with a call interrupted, and returns to talking on the phone briefly.)
Captain Charisma: Yeah, I’ll have to call you back.
(Captain Charisma hangs up the phone, and sets it down, turning his attention towards the door.)
Captain Charisma: Come in!
(Ronan Malosi barges in, wearing his gear for later on tonight, including the fedora. Captain Charisma doesn’t seem too shocked that Ronan decided to stop by, knowing he can be very persistent when it comes to getting something he wants. Malosi looks around, taking a brief survey of the scene as he approaches CC’s desk.)
Ronan Malosi: Great, no Daryl Kinkade this time, so it’s just me and you.
(As he says the word “you,” Ronan takes the fedora off his head, and places it on Captain Charisma’s, something he isn’t too thrilled with, but allows to rest there as Malosi talks.)
Captain Charisma: I’m guessing you’re here to complain about the match I put you in last week. I saw your little tirade on social media, you didn’t seem too happy about it.
Ronan Malosi: I’m still not happy about it. I mean, no disrespect, sir, but what were you thinking? It’s practically a three-on-one handicap match.
Captain Charisma: Is that so?
Ronan Malosi: Sheridan, Bethany, and Daryl. That’s three people I gotta keep my eyes on.
Captain Charisma: Hey, relax. Daryl said he wouldn’t interfere in your match tonight.
Ronan Malosi: And you BELIEVED him? :wtf: Don’t drink the guy’s Kool aid, CC. A man’s honor is a man’s word.
Captain Charisma: And?
Ronan Malosi: Daryl Kinkade has no honor, just look at how the guy conducts himself. Two weeks ago, he chased me with a steel chair. Last week, he tried to start a fight in your office, possibly putting you in danger. That tells me two things. One, he’s a coward, who can’t fight man-to-man. Two, he has absolutely no respect for authority, and zero care for your well-being.
Captain Charisma: Alright, Ronan, not to be that guy, but if you’re just here to rant and rave about how unfair your match is tonight, then I’m not interested. Please, leave.
(Ronan simply chuckles at this request from Captain Charisma, not taking it all too seriously.)
Ronan Malosi: You didn’t think I’d just come in here to talk about your Sheridan Müllers, and Daryl Kinkades of the world, right?
Captain Charisma: Actually, yes.
Ronan Malosi: Well, you’re wrong. I’m here on far more important business. Tell me, have you given my offer from last week a little more thought? I mean, Ronan Malosi as commissioner of Voltage. As far as I’m concerned, that sounds like a win-win. A win for the brand, a win for the ratings, a win for me, and a win for you, getting time off, which you deserve, of course.
Captain Charisma: Ronan, I’ve thought it over, and my answer is no. I think you’d be much better off focusing on Wicked Games, or as of tonight, focusing on Sheridan Müller. If you really wanna prove a point, I recommend getting a victory over someone of her caliber. This is your chance to regain momentum from two weeks ago after Daryl cost you your match with Kenn Kenn.
(Ronan presses his lips together, and places both hands on his hips, this not being the answer he wanted from Captain Charisma, and he’s growing annoyed as a result. But Ronan quickly reels himself in, plastering a smile back on his face.)
Ronan Malosi: Yeah, yeah, Wicked Games, Sheridan. CC, I think you’re not seeing the bigger picture here though, because after leading the team-
Captain Charisma: Allegedly.
Ronan Malosi: …After leading the team to victory at Territorial Invasion, I’m owed a reward for it, which- I emphasized this last week, but you promised it could be “anything.”
Captain Charisma: That’s right, but-
Ronan Malosi: No, buts. Remember what I said about leading by example? Well, that’s what I’m asking you to do right here, right now, Captain. From locker room leader to… brand leader, just gimme what I ask for, and that’s the chance to run Voltage alongside you. I’m sure you didn’t expect any of my other neanderthal teammates to request something like this, but that’s because they’re playing checkers, meanwhile, I’m playing chess. :mjgrin:
Captain Charisma: Chess, huh?
Ronan Malosi: That’s right.
Captain Charisma: Ronan, hypothetically speaking, if I were to make you commissioner of Voltage, what would you do with that sort of power?
Ronan Malosi: Yes, that’s a good question, and my answer is simple. First, I’d trim the fat by getting rid of Charlie, by getting rid of Daryl, and by getting rid of The Prescription.
(Ronan smiles at Captain Charisma, almost looking for his approval on the idea, seeing nothing wrong with it in his mind.)
Captain Charisma: :whoa2: Ronan, why on earth would you do that?
Ronan Malosi: CC, as the locker room leader, it’s incumbent upon me to make sure that my morals, my ethics, my values are cultivated through Voltage. I’m very big on professionalism, and what they did to me a few weeks ago… well, that wasn’t professional. It was rather savage, it was rather cruel, and it was rather harsh. To think, it all comes from a place of jealousy.
Captain Charisma: Well, I wouldn’t say all that.
Ronan Malosi: You’re right, they’re not just jealous, they’re ungrateful as well, after everything I did for them. My point is: they don’t deserve to be on the Voltage brand, not until they acknowledge me as the sole reason we won at Territorial Invasion. If I wasn’t added to the team by Eden, they would’ve lost. They would’ve failed you, they would’ve failed the brand, they would’ve failed themselves. Now, when it comes to firing them for that attack two weeks ago, Captain, I shouldn’t have to do that. If you ask me, it should’ve already been done. Honestly, it’s embarrassing that an attack like that was allowed to take place without any repercussions. If I was in charge of Voltage, that wouldn’t happen, because nobody would be going around trying to make a fool of me.
(Captain Charisma takes a deep breath.)
Captain Charisma: Ronan, this is a lot, a lot to take in. But from what I’ve gathered, your plan is to just… abuse your power?
(The crowd pops at CC seeing right through Ronan’s intentions, but Malosi acts quite confused at the implication, and its origins.)
Ronan Malosi: What?? A-Abuse my power? No, I-I’d never do such a thing, I know what it’s like to be a boss. Ask my gardener, ask my maids, they’ll vouch for me, they’ll tell you I’m great, most of all, best suited for the position as commissioner of Voltage. But putting all that aside, I have a favor, CC, one which I’m guaranteed, and one I intend to collect.
(Captain Charisma ponders momentarily, once again thinking about the idea of Ronan as commissioner, and doubles down.)
Captain Charisma: You know what, Ronan? It’s clear you feel very strongly about the topic, so I’m going to give it some actual thought.
(Ronan’s shocked, but clearly happy with this response from Captain Charisma.)
Ronan Malosi: Really?
(Captain Charisma nods, almost like he can’t believe it himself that he’s actually considering this.)
Captain Charisma: Yes, really. Next week, I want you back here in my office, and we’ll have another chat about the idea.
(Ronan nods his head, and pats the shoulder of Captain Charisma a few times.)
Ronan Malosi: Good man, maybe those things I’ve said about you in the past, even after leaving your office last week, aren’t true after all.
Captain Charisma: :comeagain: What’d you say about me last week?
Ronan Malosi: Don’t worry about it. Water under the bridge as they say. Besides, like you said, I should get to focusing on my match with Sheridan tonight.
(Ronan takes his fedora off the head of Captain Charisma, and places it back on his, tipping the cap off to CC before walking out of his office. Captain Charisma seems just simply relieved that Ronan is focused on his match coming up soon, and rather not being commissioner of Voltage. But CC starts putting some genuine thought in the idea, knowing this isn’t a matter Ronan will let go lightly, and’ll be back for next week as Voltage fades to commercial break.)

James Peters: Tonight, SHOHEI has an opportunity to make a huge first impression with the EAW faithful.

Bella Braxton: And his opponent! Hailing out of Cincinnati, Ohio, weighing in at 220 pounds…HE IS THE PODCAST KING…ALEX MATHEWS!!
Rich Russillo: These two are out with two separate mindsets. As mentioned, focus for SHOHEI. Arrogance for Mathews.
James Peters: Sometimes, arrogance isn’t a detriment when you’re just that good. Perhaps Alex Mathews will prove himself tonight.

(Both competitors stare each other down from opposite corners.)

James Peters: There’s the bell, and both SHOHEI, along with Alex Mathews circle each to kick things off. SHOHEI begins advancing towards Mathews, already looking to get physical, Alex wants no parts of this just yet, and backs away, ducking his upper body out through the middle rope.
Rich Russillo: The referee forces SHOHEI to give Mathews some space, which he does, allowing Alex to exit out through the middle rope, and circle SHOHEI once more.
Persephone: Hoping he’ll actually fight, so I can see these two promising, young upstarts go at it! 😀
James Peters: Looks like they’re gonna lock up to start things off- oh no! Alex faked SHOHEI out with a kick to the midsection, doubling him over for a standing side headlock. Alex is really wrenching on it, attempting to keep firm control over SHOHEI, but he can only manage for so long before SHOHEI bounces him off the ropes to escape! Mathews rebounds back with a shoulder tackle, knocking SHOHEI down!
Rich Russillo: Alex taunts the crowd briefly, not sure if that’s a wise move when your opponent is down, but regardless, he runs off the ropes beside SHOHEI! SHOHEI rolls over to his belly, forcing Mathews to hop over to avoid tripping. Alex rebounds off the ropes again, and SHOHEI pops back up to leapfrog over Mathews!
James Peters: Alex runs off the ropes for a third time, almost being on the receiving end of a hip toss, but he blocks it, and tries to reverse with a hip toss of his own. But SHOHEI blocks it as well, holding his weight down. Alex goes for a clothesline, utilizing his free hand, but SHOHEI catches arm, going to wrestle Mathews down to the canvas with a fujiwara!
Rich Russillo: Alex wisely inched himself out under the bottom rope before SHOHEI could really tack it on.
Persephone: He looks to be getting real frustrated.
Rich Russillo: Yeah, you can see it in his pacing outside the ring, Alex is starting to become frustrated, we know he’s a very ego-driven individual outside the ring, and maybe SHOHEI is poking holes in his claims of being the best. Regardless, Mathews knows he’s needed back in that ring, so rushes in, hoping to catch SHOHEI off guard, but he’s unsuccessful in that pursuit, getting taken down with an arm drag!
James Peters: SHOHEI keeps the arm hooked, and Alex fights back to a vertical base from his prior seated one. Mathews reaches out for the ropes, but SHOHEI leans him up against them, bouncing him off!
Rich Russillo: You might’ve spoken too soon as Alex reverses, sending SHOHEI towards the ropes instead. Dropdown! Mathews goes to follow that up with a leapfrog, BUT GETS CAUGHT WITH A SHOTGUN DROPKICK RIGHT TO THE STERNUM AREA MID LEAP! Alex writhes in pain momentarily before SHOHEI hooks the leg for a cover, wasting no time.

James Peters: Kickout! Alex gets to a knee, and a standing SHOHEI wrings his arm, unsure of what he could be going for here, but we aren’t going to find out as Mathews steps out through the middle rope. The referee tells SHOHEI to release his hold, but with his attention diverted, Alex finds an opening, and TAKES ADVANTAGE with a hotshot!
Persephone: Throat first across the top rope! :lupe:
Rich Russillo: SHOHEI spins around, clutching at his throat, gasping for air before dropping to a knee. From there, Alex slides into the ring, and grabs the back of SHOHEI’s head before driving him shoulder first into the ringpost! SHOHEI grimaces in pain, but Alex rolls him up for a school boy!

James Peters: Kickout by SHOHEI, who rolls himself to the center of the ring, sitting up, getting his wits about him. But Alex doesn’t allow time for any of that, digging his knee into the back of SHOHEI, and pulling both arms back for a modified bow and arrow of sorts. I don’t think the fans are big on this, booing Mathews for slowing the pace down, something which he takes notice of, and isn’t happy about.
Rich Russillo: SHOHEI starts powering back to his feet, Mathews still having both arms yanked behind his back. SHOHEI can barely defend himself as Alex kicks the back of his knee, forcing him down to a kneel on both knees, transitioning into a standing surfboard stretch. Digging his foot in between the shoulder blades of SHOHEI, and yanking back on both arms.
James Peters: SHOHEI screams in agony, but shows no plans of quitting, shaking his head at the referee’s question. Alex gets annoyed at this, and pulls back more on the hold.
Persephone: It’s not too far back Alex can go before completely ripping SHOHEI’s arms right out of their sockets!
Rich Russillo: He’s showing deep concentration right now, almost blocking out the pain as he powers back to his feet. Alex releases his hold on SHOHEI, and looks to switch things up, spinning him around for a European uppercut attempt! BUT SHOHEI AVOIDS IT, COUNTERING WITH A BACKSLIDE!

James Peters: Kickout! Alex rolls through to his feet, and both competitors stand themselves up. SHOHEI RUNS RIGHT INTO A CLOTHESLINE, TURNING HIM INSIDE OUT! Mathews gets to a knee, thinking about his next plan of attack, and possibly sneaking some recovery time in as well. Meanwhile, SHOHEI uses the ropes for assistance in getting to a knee, resting his chin on the middle. But Alex comes in, pressing his throat down against the middle rope, practically choking his opponent!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Rich Russillo: The referee pries Mathews off SHOHEI, who remains hung up on that bottom rope. Alex takes notice, and shoves past the referee following his reprimanding, CHARGING INTO SHOHEI WITH A BIG BOOT TO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD!
James Peters: Alex grabs a stunned SHOHEI off the middle rope, and into a front facelock, bringing him to the center of the ring for a snapmare! Mathews transitions into a rear chinlock. He’s staying on his opponent, giving him barely any time to breathe. SHOHEI hasn’t been given a chance to mount any momentum for himself.
Rich Russillo: Which shows that Alex Mathews is doing a wonderful job right now. Again, SHOHEI is forced to power back to his feet, and each time he does so, that’s exerting more and more energy. Meanwhile, Alex is preserving his, wearing an opponent down in such a way.
James Peters: SHOHEI starts fighting back with sharp back elbows to the abdomen of Alex, knocking the wind out of him, and breaking up his grip. Forearm strikes to the face follow! SHOHEI is fighting bac- ooh! Knee to the midsection by Mathews! SHOHEI is doubled over, and Alex hooks him up for a SIT-OUT HELLEVATOR! PLANTING HIM SLAP DAB IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!
Rich Russillo: Alex makes the cover!

Rich Russillo: Another kickout at two by SHOHEI! Alex shakes his head in annoyance before bringing SHOHEI back to his feet. But SHOHEI fights back with more forearm shots to the face! SHOHEI staggers his way to the opposite set of ropes, and Mathews builds a full head of steam!
James Peters: SHOHEI OUTSMARTS HIM THOUGH, SIDESTEPPING, AND SENDING HIM OUT THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE! Alex just went splat on the outside, but quickly stands himself back up. SHOHEI RUNS OFF THE ROPES FOR A SUICIDE DIVE! Alex is stunned, SHOHEI rolls him back into the ring before climbing up on the apron!
Rich Russillo: SHOHEI SLINGSHOTS HIMSELF OVER THE TOP ROPE FOR A LEG DROP! Cover is made, hooking the leg, and pinning the arm down of Mathews, so he can’t get the ropes! Smart strategy!

Rich Russillo: That’s twice in a row he’s almost had Mathews down for the count. SHOHEI hooks the leg of a downed Mathews, perhaps wanting to turn him over for a single leg Boston crab, but Alex grabs hold of the bottom rope. SHOHEI tries to yank him off, but gets a big boot to the face for his troubles. SHOHEI turns around, and stumbles into the corner.
James Peters: Alex uses the ropes to pull himself back to his feet, and makes a beeline toward SHOHEI! But he gets the boot up, causing Alex to spin around, and stumble to the center. SHOHEI awaits Mathews to turn around, and face him once again before CHARGING IN WITH A JUMPING HIGH KNEE! HOOK OF THE LEG!

Rich Russillo: SHOHEI is to his feet first, Alex can only get to a knee. SHOHEI grabs him by the head, but Alex shoves him away slightly, creating momentary separation. SHOHEI approaches Alex for a second time, but Mathews pops back to his feet to deliver a right hand. SHOHEI fires back with one of his own!
James Peters: Alex returns fire! SHOHEI does the same! Alex! SHOHEI! Alex! SHOHEI! Alex! SHOHEI! SHOHEI! SHOHEI! Three straight punches to the dome forces Mathews to change strategy, and go for a clothesline! But SHOHEI ducks underneath, and delivers a shoot kick to the chest, knocking Alex back into the corner!
Rich Russillo: SHOHEI lands a barrage of shoot kicks to the chest of Mathews, who sinks down in the corner, and the referee pulls SHOHEI away. Afterward, SHOHEI runs back in for FROM ME TO YOU! THAT RUNNING SEATED CORNER DROPKICK!
James Peters: SHOHEI grabs Mathews by the leg, and drags him to the center of the ring for a cover!

Rich Russillo: NO! Alex has SHOHEI suspended upside down, and pops him back up into a powerbomb position. RELEASE POWERBOMB OFF THE MIDDLE ROPE! SHOHEI landed high on his head and neck area, Alex came off the middle rope, landing on his side. But he crawls over to a prone, unmoving SHOHEI, shooting the half for a cover!

Rich Russillo: Yeah, he really battled back after being worn down by Mathews, who hasn’t seemed to get the fans on his side just yet like SHOHEI.
James Peters: Perhaps it’s the cocky attitude, which… went on to cost him tonight. For that, victory is SHOHEI’s.
(SHOHEI begins heading to the back, favoring his ribs, feeling the effects from the match as the camera fades elsewhere.)

Daryl Kinkade: Yeah I just have an interest in seeing Ronan Malosi get his hide beaten. It’s always a good time. Basically every Ronan match really.

Daryl Kinkade: Absolutely not. If there’s one thing Ronan’s good at, it’s making a fool of himself.

(‘Amerika’ by Rammstein hits! Sheridan Müller makes her way out to the ring with a serious look on her face. She is all business as she enters the ring and stands there motionlessly waiting for her opponent. Dr. Bethany Blue enters slowly behind her taking a stand on the outside of the ring. Bethany collects both of the titles and takes them to her corner for safekeeping.)

Daryl Kinkade: This is a good choice for an opponent to really give it to Ronan. You can tell she doesn’t mess around. So Ronan won’t really be able to weasel out of the whooping that he has coming to him.
James Peters: It is true that Sheridan is all business and she is half of The Prescription who are the reigning and defending tag champs. Obviously Ronan has his work cut out for him here tonight.
Rich Russillo: The Prescription have been absolutely dominant as champions. I don’t really see anyone who can beat them. Sheridan is in singles action here tonight but we all know she isn’t any worse off in that regard. Both of these women have won plenty of singles titles themselves in the past.

(Ronan Malosi makes his way out to the ring angrily pointing towards the commentary table as well as Dr. Bethany Blue at ringside.)
James Peters: Oh it looks like Ronan has a problem as he makes his way out to the ring for this match.
Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) Nah get them out of here. This is not a three on one match! Let’s have a fair contest you guys!!!
Daryl Kinkade: Is he really trying to get me to leave? Don’t worry Ronan, I don’t even need to interfere in this thing for you to lose.
(Ronan Malosi approaches Dr. Bethany Blue on the outside of the ring. He tries to convince her to leave but she just smirks and begins to check her phone.)
Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) Oh come on.
(Ronan Malosi reaches out and attempts to take one of the Tag Titles from Dr. Bethany Blue but she simply steps a few paces backwards so Ronan ends up grabbing the air instead. Ronan then looks up to see Sheridan glare at him from in the ring as he puts his hands up signalling innocence and that it wasn’t what it looked like.)
Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) :whoa: !!!!
Rich Russillo: It looks like everyone at ringside is staying at ringside. But they don’t seem to have any interest in interfering. I guess if that changes it will be at the referee’s discretion to evict them from ringside.
(Ronan Malosi reluctantly gets into the ring as he prepares for the match to begin.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Rich Russillo: This match is underway and Sheridan Müller looks defiantly and stoically on just waiting for Ronan Malosi to even try something. Ronan holds his arms out above his head in order to allow the crowd to bask in his glory but only receives booing from the audience.
Ronan Malosi: :blessed:
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Daryl Kinkade: Come on… do something!
Rich Russillo: Sheridan Müller looks completely unimpressed as she paces slowly around the ring staring Ronan Malosi down. Suddenly Ronan charges in as they lock up in the middle of the ring. And Sheridan with all the force she can muster sends the larger Ronan backwards a bit, BEFORE SURPRISING HIM WITH A LEG SWEEP!
James Peters: Ronan Malosi rolls through back up and he looks shocked. Sheridan Müller definitely took him a bit by surprise there. Ronan rolls his neck and looks a bit angry as he charges back in to lock up. This time holding his own a bit better. Ronan manages to overpower Sheridan this time throwing her backwards into the corner as she manages to stay on her feet. Ronan charges in with repeated strikes to the gut keeping Sheridan on the defensive. Sheridan staggers out of the corner as Ronan kicks her legs repeatedly with some low kicks trying to knock her down but Sheridan somehow manages to retain her balance. Sheridan leaps over the kick thrown by Ronan as she hauls off with a Running Forearm strike to the face as Ronan crumbles down onto hands and knees on the mat! But Ronan immediately pops back up only to be met with another hard forearm from Sheridan!
Rich Russillo: Ronan Malosi charges back out of the corner with a flurry of strikes of his own bashing Sheridan Müller backwards across the ring viciously. They fight back and forth with repeated strikes. Ronan! Sheridan! Ronan! Sheridan! Ronan! Sheridan!
Daryl Kinkade: I think we all know who I’m rooting for tonight, but who knows? If Ronan has a good performance, maybe Wicked Games will be a bit more exciting after all.
Rich Russillo: Just when it looks like Ronan Malosi is gaining the advantage, Sheridan Müller catches him in the gut with a hard Raised Knee Strike. Sheridan grabs Ronan lifting him up over her head and slamming him down to the mat with a Scoop Slam! No! Ronan claws at Sheridan’s eyes as she struggles to keep the big man up over her head as he falls down behind her to escape. Ronan tearing at the face of Sheridan and clubs her hard on the back knocking her down to her knees. Sheridan tries to get back up as Ronan taunts her causing her to spin around and catch him across the face with a Spinning Backfist! Ronan falls backwards as Sheridan checks her face for blood. Looks good. Sheridan grabs Ronan who shoves her away. Ronan runs off the ropes… but Sheridan catches him and drops him backwards with a thunderous Samoan Drop! Sheridan to the cover as she looks to put Ronan away!!!

James Peters: No! Kickout from Ronan Malosi as he hangs in there!
Persephone: Lowkey surprised that wasn’t it. Sheridan Müller will have to work hard for her Disney movie ending!
Daryl Kinkade: Well he probably won’t last much longer.
Rich Russillo: Both competitors back up as Ronan Malosi recovers. He charges in at Sheridan Müller who kicks him in the gut and throws Ronan backwards with a Snap Suplex. Sheridan flies over into the cover pushing Ronan’s shoulders down onto the mat.

James Peters: Another kickout from Ronan Malosi! Sheridan Müller staying on him and making sure to try to wear him out with repeated kickouts. I have to imagine that Sheridan has more stamina than Ronan who uses up more energy with everything he does in this match and that is likely Sheridan’s strategy here tonight. We will see if that pays off here tonight. Sheridan pulls Ronan back up and punches him hard in the face. Ronan suddenly retaliates with a Big Boot catching Sheridan off guard and kicking her into the corner with force. Ronan has Sheridan trapped down as he kicks her in the gut and rolls her up into a Small Package!!!

Rich Russillo: Sheridan Müller the one with the kickout this time as Ronan Malosi is unable to steal the victory. Ronan looks frustrated as he drops an elbow on the back of Sheridan to prevent her from getting back up. Ronan flips Sheridan over and begins laying down stomps on her before grabbing her hair and yanking her back up. Ronan lifts Sheridan into the air… STALLING SUPLEX!!! Ronan into the cover… no Ronan instead slips around behind Sheridan and applies a Headlock. Sheridan is fighting back up! Sheridan up to her feet as she lays in hard shots to Ronan’s guts to bash him off her! Sheridan fighting back with chops to the chest and she whips Ronan hard across the ring! Sheridan charges in at full speed!
James Peters: No! Ronan Malosi moves out of the way and Sheridan Müller charges full speed into the corner bouncing off! Ronan moves around behind Sheridan and hooks his arms around her waist! Ronan tosses Sheridan back with a big German Suplex! Ronan laughing at the irony as he just tossed the German competitor with a suplex from her own country.
Rich Russillo: Ronan Malosi with an arrogant smirk on his face as he doesn’t even bother to go in for a cover on Sheridan Müller after that Suplex. Sheridan is down as Ronan helps her back up. Ronan pulls Sheridan in… DEATH ROOOOOOO!!!! No! Ronan stalled too much with the gloating and Sheridan counters in midair into a Spinning Arm Drag tossing Ronan away from her across the ring! Sheridan with a window to get back in it now as she pulls herself up… BUT RONAN COMES CHARGING IN LIKE A RUNAWAY TRAIN WITH A BICYCLE KICK TAKING HER HEAD OFF!!! Ronan into the cover as Sheridan has just been knocked the hell out!!!

James Peters: Sheridan Müller somehow kicks out! I really thought that could be it, Ronan Malosi put his full power behind the force of that kick. Ronan looks a bit disappointed himself as he grabs Sheridan by the hair yanking her right back up. He charges into Sheridan and rams her back first into the corner as he traps her there and begins delivering repeated Shoulder Thrusts just goring Sheridan nonstop. Sheridan desperate to escape manages to pull herself up to the top rope but Ronan just keeps pummeling her with punches to the face nearly knocking her off the top rope and falling to the outside of the ring. Ronan climbs up to the top and this could be bad for Sheridan! He is wrapping his arms around her in a hug like maneuver! Possibly going for a Belly to Belly Suplex from the top rope! This looks bad! Can Sheridan counter it??? Ronan falls back tossing Sheridan from on high!!!
Rich Russillo: Absolutely not! Sheridan Müller manages to keep herself firmly planted on the top, AND SHE CONNECTS WITH A HUGE HEADBUTT!! Ronan Malosi goes flying back first by himself into the middle of the ring crashing down in the middle of it! Sheridan is up on the top rope and this is her big chance to take advantage! But she is still a bit woozy up there from the trauma inflicted by Ronan! Sheridan goes for it!!! SHERIDAN WITH A FLYING CROSSBODY OFF THE TOP ROPE!!!
James Peters: No! Ronan Malosi catches Sheridan Müller in midair and transfers the move into a Samoan Drop throwing her up behind him using the momentum from that Flying Crossbody to drive her back first into the mat crushing under the weight of Ronan! Ronan crawls over into the cover and Sheridan is done!!!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

Rich Russillo: Kick out by Sheridan Müller! Ronan Malosi unable to get the win there!
Persephone: Wow! The force of that Samoan Drop literally shook the ring! Sheridan has to be messed up with some internal injuries from that one.
Daryl Kinkade: Well it is Ronan so obviously it wasn’t done correctly. Ronan isn’t really impressing me so far, but there’s still time as long as this match is on.
Rich Russillo: Ronan Malosi yanks Sheridan Müller up by the arm and whips her across the ring. As she rebounds Ronan goes around behind her and transitions into a Dragon Sleeper! Ronan is going to put Sheridan to sleep here tonight! The crowd is clearly anti-Ronan here tonight as they are booing loudly as Sheridan struggles to reach out towards the ropes. Sheridan dragging herself across the ring awkwardly while in that hold but she can’t quite make it. Sheridan falls down onto her knees as Ronan applies the Dragon Sleeper in even tighter eventually dropping Sheridan to the mat. Sher is down and she is falling asleep. Ronan transitions into a proper Sleeper in order to pin Sheridan’s shoulders to the mat as she may have passed out!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

James Peters: No! Sheridan Müller gets her shoulders back up as suddenly she gets a second wind. Ronan Malosi can’t believe where all of this energy is coming from. Sheridan manages to pull herself back up and tosses Ronan backwards with a Back Drop dropping him right on the back of his neck! Both competitors are down! Sheridan conserving that energy within for when she really needed it! So efficient! Both competitors slowly back up as Ronan slugs Sheridan in the face! But she retaliates with her own! Both competitors trading strikes on wobbly legs and they may not have a lot left to give here tonight. It could be the next big move from either of these competitors to end this thing. Sheridan gains the advantage here with repeated chops to the chest of Malosi tearing his skin up. Sheridan whips Ronan across the ring but Ronan counters sending her across the ring. Sheridan comes flying back across the ring with a leaping Axe Handle in midair to the face of Ronan knocking him down!
Rich Russillo: Sheridan Müller right back up as she looks reinvigorated! I am surprised to see this! But she may just be putting on a brave face as Ronan does indeed hit pretty hard. Ronan Malosi back up too but is taken down by a hard Clothesline from Sheridan! And another one! And another one! Sheridan is rolling here as Ronan gets back up and gets scooped up overhead from Sheridan! Sheridan drives Ronan down head first to the mat with a Tombstone Piledriver!!! Ronan has to be done now! Sheridan go for the cover! But she’s not finished! She’s going to the top rope!
James Peters: Sheridan Müller comes off the top rope with a Diving Elbow Drop!!! She gets all of it and what elevation!!! Sheridan connects as she signals that this thing is over for Ronan Malosi! Sheridan is stalking Ronan! She has something in mind! Ronan slowly back up to his feet as Sheridan grabs him and looks to hit the Endless Fantasies!!!
Rich Russillo: No! Ronan Malosi manages to spin out of it and takes Sheridan Müller’s head off with a Clothesline out of nowhere!!! Ronan smiles as he falls on top of Sheridan for the cover!!!

DEATH ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! No! Sheridan again manages to spin out of the devastating maneuver and transitions in midair into a Spinning DDT planting Ronan on the top of his head!!! Sheridan survives to fight another day! Both competitors down as the referee may have to count them out… no wait! Sheridan is crawling across the ring trying to get to the cover! Ronan isn’t moving! She might have him here! Sheridan gets a single arm over the chest of Ronan!!!

Rich Russillo: Ronan Malosi gets the shoulder up at the very last millisecond! Ronan is still not moving as he just had enough strength to force Sheridan Müller off him and both competitors are out cold on the mat! The referee is going to count them out!!!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT!
James Peters: Both competitors manage to get back up onto their feet staggeringly punch drunk as they collide in the ring falling towards each other. They manage to stay on their feet as Sheridan Müller applies a Front Face Lock on Ronan Malosi. Sheridan leaning on Ronan trying to put him to sleep here as Ronan’s own strength seems to be keeping both of them up right now as Sheridan can barely keep the hold applied herself. Ronan falling asleep and he is fading!
Persephone: Ronan is out! The match is over!!
Daryl Kinkade: Probably for the best, he clearly can’t take any more of this.
Rich Russillo: No! As Ronan Malosi passes out and falls to the mat Sheridan Müller collapses as well releasing the hold in the process!! Both competitors are down on the mat and they are trying to get up but they seem out of it! The referee is counting and this match just may very well end in a tie as they have beaten each other too badly to continue!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE! TE-
James Peters: No! Somehow! Someway! Both Sheridan Müller and Ronan Malosi have risen to their feet! They are back at it in the ring trading punches one after another! They are giving it all they have in order to make sure there is a winner here tonight! Sheridan with a hard uppercut knocks Ronan down! Ronan rolls under the ropes tumbling out of the ring! Ronan is on the outside now as he manages to pull himself up to his feet. Ronan pulls himself back into the rin-
(As Ronan gets back up, he turns and looks at Dr. Bethany Blue.)
Daryl Kinkade: What is he doing? Get back in the ring.
Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) Those belts have been going downhill since I was in the tag division, I hope you realize that.
Dr. Bethany Blue: (off-mic) :francis:
(Ronan begins to make his way over towards Daryl before continuing.)
Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) And YOU! You shouldn’t even be here! Just wait until Wicked Games, you have no idea what you’re getting yourself into!
Daryl Kinkade: You have an opponent, you know that, right?
James Peters: Ronan slides back into the ring where Sheridan has been impatiently waiting this whole time. Ronan Malosi charges in at Sheridan with a Clothesline from Hell but Sheridan ducks under it!
Rich Russillo: Sheridan kicks Ronan in the midsection before sending him to the ropes, WAIT NO! RONAN TURNS IT AROUND AND SENDS SHERIDAN BOUNCING OFF THE ROPES! Sheridan goes around behind Ronan and wraps her arms around him… THE SHERPLEX CONNECTS!!! NOW THAT IS HOW YOU DO A GERMAN SUPLEX!!! RIGHT INTO THE BRIDGE TOO!!!

James Peters: Great win by Sheridan Müller, and while you have to ask what would have happened had Ronan actually paid attention to what was important, neither Daryl nor Dr. Bethany Blue actually distracted him or interfered. Everything that happened was his own doing!
Rich Russillo: That’s right. Sheridan won clean, which isn’t a huge surprise knowing just how talented she is. Congratulations Sheridan Müller!
(After a little while Ronan begins to stir, and once he is able to get back up he looks at the referee.)
Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) Ummm excuse me referee? What the hell was that?
Referee: (off-mic) ???
Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) My foot was on the rope. You shouldn’t have counted three.
(The referee stands with his hands on his hips and an annoyed expression.)
Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) What?? It was a rope break!
Referee: (off-mic) You were in the middle of the ring.
Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) I don’t see how that proves anything. I’m a tall guy.
(The Prescription looks annoyed with Ronan’s complaining as they sigh and head backstage not even wanting to deal with it.)
Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) Seriously, do you really think I can’t beat Sheridan Müller? Even at my worst I-
James Peters: DARYL KINKADE IS IN THE RING AND HE JUST BASHED A STEEL CHAIR ACROSS THE SKULL OF RONAN MALOSI!!!
Rich Russillo: Daryl getting some payback here as he nearly cracked Ronan’s skull open with that chair! Daryl not putting up with Ronan’s shenanigans as he pulls him up…
James Peters: A BEAUTIFUL LIE!!! Daryl Kinkade just dropped Ronan Malosi with the Crossed Legged Fisherman’s Buster!!! Ronan has been laid out here tonight as Daryl stands tall in the ring taking in the cheers from the appreciative Ronan-hating crowd.
Rich Russillo: Definitely not a good night for Ronan. And he still has to deal with Daryl again at Wicked Games. Could things end the same there? Or will Ronan find a way to redeem himself? I guess we’ll have to find out very soon!
(Voltage fades away from ringside.)
(Sunday Night Voltage fades to show the backstage area as the camera follows Sofia Clarke, who is pacing back and forth slowly around the hallways. When it came to her job, she was usually ready to do the interviews for the Elitists; but there were a few instances she had to go look for the wrestlers and interview them herself. She had to let everyone know what was happening and inform them on anything that happens in EAW, and one of those things right now was getting an interview with Sierra Everett. Sierra suffered an attack last week, and even though she deserved it for attacking Hikari first, Sofia needed to see if she was still healthy to compete after that.)
(She arrived at Sierra’s locker room as she knocked on it calmly, but she got no response. She waited a few more seconds and knocked again, nothing. Sofia was close to leaving, but then finally, the door seemed to open up and she didn’t waste any time asking questions.)
Sofia Clarke: Hey, Sierra? I was wondering if you would be up to doing an interview-
???: Sorry to inform you, but you got the wrong person.
(Sofia was immediately thrown off by hearing a completely different voice aside from Sierra’s, and she was even more confused to see that the woman coming out had some similarities with Sierra; she just looked older in age and sounded less irritable, definitely not Sierra.)
Sofia Clarke: Oh, no worries! I have to apologize for arriving so suddenly. I was looking to have an interview with Sierra Everett, although…you kind of look like her.
Delilah Everett: Of course, let me introduce myself. My name is Delilah Everett, I am Sierra’s new personal assistant.
Sofia Clarke: Wait…Everett…are you Sierra’s sister?
(Delilah turned over to the side, a scowl almost forming on her face as it seemed she wasn’t proud of that little detail. But she kept it professional and turned back to Sofia with a smile on her face.)
Delilah Everett: You are indeed correct, I am Sierra’s older sister. She was looking for a personal assistant after the turbulent situation she went through, and I stepped up for that job to help my little sister. Family will always be there for each other after all.
(Delilah almost wanted to roll her eyes after saying that. In actuality, she and Sierra didn’t have the greatest relationship growing up, in fact, she doesn’t even fully like Sierra. She is only doing this job because Sierra made herself famous by landing a job here in EAW. She was falling on rough times so Sierra was her way to making some serious money, and that is why she became her personal assistant.)
Sofia Clarke: That’s a very cute discovery, family should always help each other! But right now, that little fact is not the focus, I am here to ask if I can have an interview with Sierra?
Delilah Everett: Well, that is impossible to accomplish at the moment, because Sierra isn’t here.
Sofia Clarke: Huh?! Why not?
Delilah Everett: Oh come on Sofia, did you not see what happened to my sister last week? She was brutally assaulted by Hikari Kanno, of course she isn’t here in the arena tonight after that! Not only does Sierra need to recover, it’s a clear thing to see that her being at the arena tonight is a risk with Hikari present as well. Which means that any questions or concerns you have concerning Sierra should be directed straight to me.
(Sofia stood surprised for a moment as Delilah said that to her, but she quickly regained focus and spoke up again.)
Sofia Clarke: Then, if that’s the case, I was hoping to get Sierra’s thoughts on the situation with Hikari Kanno.
Delilah Everett: Even though Sierra may not be here to answer the questions, I can assure you that Hikari’s actions were uncalled for, and eventually she will pay for what she did. History shows that Sierra Everett is not the kind of competitor to take lightly, Diamond Dixon found that out in her last match when Sierra ended up making short work of her and sent her packing away from this company. If Hikari actually knew better, she would know not to mess with someone like Sierra Everett. Sierra shut her down so easily last time and she isn’t afraid to do it again…well, of course when she ends up healthy once more. Despite all of this, Hikari has gotten off lucky for now, because Sierra won’t be able to compete until after Wicked Games.
(Hearing that response confused Sofia Clarke, hold on, was she actually serious? Could Sierra not be cleared to compete until after Wicked Games? Everyone knew what kind of person Sierra Everett was, so it wouldn’t come as much of a surprise to figure out this is just another tactic of hers to avoid fighting Hikari. Sofia was very much not convinced after hearing that as she looked suspiciously at Delilah.)
Sofia Clarke: Really?
Delilah Everett: Really what?
Sofia Clarke: Are you actually sure about that? There have been a lot of people that want to see Sierra and Hikari face each other, and Hikari Kanno herself being one of those people. As there is also the fact that Sierra Everett has mostly been known around here for pulling dirty tricks, it wouldn’t be shocking if she was trying to avoid having to fight Hikari Kanno at Wicked Games.
Delilah Everett: I can understand where you are coming from, growing up Sierra was…mischievous in her own right, but this isn’t any kind of trick. This is a real problem that has affected everyone, after such an attack, there is no way Sierra can get in the ring just yet and furthermore arrive safely at Voltage.
Sofia Clarke: And how are you so confident on that?
Delilah Everett: Well…
(Delilah quickly takes a step back and she looks behind the door for a moment, almost like she is reading from a paper before she quickly turns back to Sofia.)
Delilah Everett: Hikari could seriously hurt her to the point of injury!
Sofia Clarke: As I already said, Hikari wants this match more than anybody. Yes, she indeed attacked Sierra, but I am sure she wouldn’t injure her, she wants to have that match against her after all.
Delilah Everett: Then what if Hikari ends up sending those “simps” she has to do her own bidding and hurt Sierra once again? There is a giant possibility she could get thrown in a dumpster by them and have her looks ruined! I assure you Sierra would not want to be touched by Hikari’s cronies and end up smelling like them too.
Sofia Clarke: Well, I am confident as well on the fact that Hikari won’t send her “simps”, she is better off simply doing things herself and there is also the little detail that she hasn’t used them at all during the whole of Season 16. Hikari has distanced herself from that sort of thing and has not been shy about stating that.
Delilah Everett: And I can also say that after that kind of attack that was made on Sierra, she has been unable to properly walk around the house. I had to carry her up and down the stairs several times, it was indeed very awful. So if she can’t even walk around her own house, do you expect her to walk to an airport and fly to the arena here? All the way to Cameroon? She could even be affected by jet lag and no one in their right mind would want to deal with that while not being able to walk.
Sofia Clarke: …Miss Everett, Hikari mainly attacked Sierra on her head. She bled profusely, but she was able to walk just fine after the cameras cut, everyone in the back and the crowd saw it.
Delilah Everett: …Oh…Uhhhh…
(Delilah seemed to panic for a moment as she glanced behind the door once again before quickly regaining her stance.)
Delilah Everett: Yes, my apologies, what I meant to say is that Sierra may have actually been concussed after that attack, and we can’t take such a risk letting her get into the ring that soon-
Sofia Clarke: Alright, and how do you know she has a concussion?
Delilah Everett: She has a Doctor’s Note informing her of that.
Sofia Clarke: And where is that note?
Delilah Everett: …I do not have it with me at this moment.
Sofia Clarke: Ah yes, of course, and you are also going to say it was written by Dr. House? :mjpls:
Delilah Everett: This is a very serious situation Miss Clarke, there is no time for any jokes. We are talking about a woman’s career in danger, you might find this funny but I do not.
Sofia Clarke: :francis:
Delilah Everett: All I am going to say is that no matter what happens, the next time you all see Sierra in the ring, she will be at 100%. I hope you have a good night.
(Delilah then moved quickly and she shut the door on Sofia’s face, as Sofia could only let out a sigh after the weird situation that she had to deal with. She didn’t get the answer she wanted, and it was clear what was happening here with Sierra suffering a “concussion”, either way, she would let people reach their own conclusions as her job was done here. She quickly left just as she arrived and Voltage faded away from backstage.)

She’s clearly not too pleased to hear what Sierra Everett’s sister had to say, but either way she wants to be at her very best, and what better way than to take it to the National Elite Champion, Donovan Duke.)
Bella Braxton: And it is a Showdown vs Voltage showcase match! Introducing first, from Okinawa, Japan!!! Weighing 121lbs!!! HIKARI KANNO!!!!!
James Peters: Hikari Kanno has been in quite the back and forth with Sierra Everett. Two weeks ago it was Sierra who interrupted Kanno during an interview, then threw her down the steps. Kanno then responded by attacking Everett after Sierra stole a victory from TLA just last week.
Rich Russillo: The back and forth between those two is only building more tension between the two, but Hikari needs to stay focused because her next opponent is no slouch.
(‘The Outsiders’ by Eric Church hits, as the crowd erupts into cheers. Donovan Duke steps out onto the stage with a smile on his face as he embraces his return to Voltage. He has the National Elite Championship resting on his shoulder, then raises it high in the air, as he walks down the entrance ramp.)
Bella Braxton: And her opponent.. Representing Showdown!! From Stillwater, Oklahoma!! Weighing 212lbs!!! HE IS THE NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPION!! DONOVAN DUKE!!!
Persephone: And here comes Donovan Duke! Back on Sunday night Voltage for the night! Wooooo, so happy.
Rich Russillo: He’s the reigning National Elite Champion, and has held that title for what feels like forever. He is definitely going to be a tough match for Hikari, but overall, I’m excited for this one!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Rich Russillo: Here we go! Showdown versus Voltage Showcase! It’s here! It’s now!
James Peters: You’ve got that right, Rich! We have the National Elite Champion from Showdown back on Voltage taking on our very own Hikari Kanno. The crowd is already up on their feet and ready for the action to unfold! This is about to be a good one!
Persephone: Both Duke and Kanno circle around the center of the ring until Duke delivers the first strike! It’s a kick to the side of the leg that tags Hikari hard! Both Elitists then engage and tie up with one another!!
Rich Russillo: Take a close look at this action here, as Duke shoots in an underhook, then snaps Kanno down into a hunched over position before grabbing onto her wrists with both hands. Duke then brings Hikari back to an upright position, then twists under her arm while keeping hold of her wrist. This wrist lock is extremely tight, and Duke tugs hard on the arm!
James Peters: Hikari yelps out in pain after that one, and Duke tugs down once again!! Hikari realizes what she has to do, as she does a combat roll that untwists both of their arms! Hikari is up to her feet and pulls Duke in.. KNEE STRIKE TO THE ABDOMEN!!! ANOTHER!!! HIKARI REALLY DELIVERING A BEATING EARLY ON, AS DONOVAN DROPS DOWN TO HIS KNEE..
Rich Russillo: AND HIKARI KANNO WITH A KNEE STRIKE THAT BLASTS DUKE RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE!!!
Persephone: Yeah, that one turned Duke’s head all the way off to the side before he dropped down to the canvas.
Rich Russillo: Early in this match, and it’s the National Elite Champion who is down on the canvas of the ring!!
James Peters: Yeah, if we take a look at Duke, this is not how he expected this match to go early on. He’s slowly working his way up to his hands and knees-
Persephone: BUT IT’S ANOTHER KNEE STRIKE BY HIKARI KANNO!!
Rich Russillo: NO!! Donovan Duke manages to block the knee, then snatches the leg! He works up to his feet, while Hikari hops, bounces, and balances on one leg!!! BUT DONOVAN DUKE TRIPS HIKARI AND SENDS HER DOWN TO THE CANVAS OF THE RING WITH A SINGLE LEG TAKEDOWN!!
James Peters: AND LOOK AT THIS!! DONOVAN DUKE KEEPS A HOLD OF HIKARI’S ANKLE AND LOCKS IN.. AN ANKLE LOCK!!!! HIKARI KANNO IS TRAPPED IN AN ANKLE LOCK EARLY ON IN THIS MATCH!!!
Rich Russillo: HIKARI PUT HER KNEE STRIKES ON DISPLAY EARLIER, AND CAME INTO THIS MATCH FIRING AWAY, BUT NOW IT’S DUKE SHOWCASING WHY HE’S NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPION WITH THIS ANKLE LOCK SUBMISSION HOLD!!
Persephone: Just look at Hikari’s face! She’s hurting right now, and wants to get a hold of that bottom rope!! She doesn’t just want to get out of this.. She NEEDS to get out of this!
Rich Russillo: You’re right Persephone. She NEEDS to get out of this and she needs to do it soon, because she’s not going to want to fight an entire match on a twisted ankle! But Hikari is working her way to the side ropes! She’s getting closer.. AND SHE GRABS THE BOTTOM ROPE!! THERE’S THE ROPE BREAK!!!
James Peters: The National Elite Champion releases his grip on Hikari’s ankle, then backs away, as he allows her to use the ropes to get back to her feet!
Persephone: SPINNING HEEL KICK TO THE MIDSECTION BY DONOVAN DUKE!! HE JUST KNOCKED THE WIND RIGHT OUT OF HIKARI KANNO WITH THAT ONE!! Kanno is hunched over, and Duke grabs her by the head. He pulls Kanno in with a front face lock.. AND SNAPS HER DOWN TO THE CANVAS OF THE RING WITH A SNAP DDT!!!
James Peters: Hikari Kanno grabs at her forehead, as her head must be ringing after that one! Donovan Duke now makes hisbway beside Hikari. He looks right at her from over his shoulder and.. STANDING MOONSAULT BY THE CHAMPION HERE!!!
Rich Russillo: NO!! HIKARI KANNO GETS HER KNEES UP, AS DONOVAN DUKE CRASHES DOWN INTO THEM!!
Persephone: Donovan Duke is hunched over Hikari’s knees, as Hikari.. SITS UP AND HOOKS DUKE’S HEAD!! THAT’S A GUILLOTINE!!! HIKARI LOCKS IN THIS GUILLOTINE, AND NOW IT’S DONOVAN DUKE WHO IS TRAPPED IN THE SUBMISSION HOLD!!!
Rich Russillo: Duke is now flailing his arms and desperately trying to find a way out of this submission. Meanwhile, Hikari Kanno is wrenching at the head and neck of Duke with all of her might, as she tries to suffocate the champion, and put this one away!!
James Peters: She may slow him down, but I doubt she’ll be able to end the match here! Duke has too much fight in him, and we can clearly see that, as Donovan Duke wraps his arms around Hikari’s body, uses all of his strength to stand up with her in his arms, and.. SPINEBUSTER!!! DONOVAN DUKE JUST SENT HIKARI KANNO RIGHT INTO THE CANVAS OF THE RING WITH THAT SPINEBUSTER THAT ERUPTS THROUGHOUT THIS ARENA!!!
Persephone: AND THAT SPINEBUSTER BREAKS HIM FREE FROM THE GUILLOTINE!! Hikari let go of his head, as the impact from the landing of the Spinebuster was too much for her to keep control!!!
James Peters: Donovan Duke now rises up to his feet, as Hikari is arching her back in pain. She slowly rises up to her feet.. BUT IT’S DONOVAN WITH A FOREARM TO THE FACE!! ANOTHER!! AND ANOTHER!! DONOVAN NOW GRIPS THE WRIST OF HIKARI, AND SENDS HER ACROSS THE RING AND TOWARDS THE CORNER!!
Rich Russillo: Hikari Kanno hits the corner turnbuckles hard, as she leans up against them. Donovan Duke stands across the ring and charges right at her! He hits a handspring.. THEN NAILS HER IN THE FACE WITH AN ELBOW RIGHT AFTERWARDS!!
Persephone: That one nearly knocked Hikari Kanno out, as she looks almost unconscious against the turnbuckles. Duke with a few forearms to the face of Hikari! He continues on the attack, and eventually lifts her up and sits her on the top rope.
James Peters: What could Donovan Duke possibly have in mind here? He begins to climb up to the middle rope, then lifts Hikari up so that now she’s standing on the top rope!! He begins to step up to the top rope while also hooking Hikari’s head.. Is he going for.. SUPERPLEX BY DONOVAN DUKE!!!!
Rich Russillo: NO!!!!! HIKARI JUST SHOVED DONOVAN DUKE OFF OF THE TOP ROPE AND HE JUST CRASHED BACK FIRST INTO THE CANVAS OF THE RING!!!
Persephone: Hikari Kanno is trying to regain her balance on the top rope, as she looks down at Donovan Duke. The National Elite Champion is grabbing his lower back in pain, and slowly working back up to his feet. However, once he looks up.. IT’S HIKARI KANNO WHO LEAPS OUT INTO MID-AIR AND DELIVERS A DIVING KNEE STRIKE TO THE FACE OF DONOVAN DUKE!!! James Peters: But Donovan Duke ducks underneath the arm, as Hikari loses her footing. Duke now with a kick to the midsection!! He then grabs Hikari by the head.. SITOUT JAWBREAKER!!! The National Elite Champion clutches at his jaw in pain, as he takes a few steps back. He’s trying to keep his distance, but Hikari isn’t allowing it, as she continues to step towards Duke!!

(The camera fades into an isolated desert showing the various environments eventually settling on an Israeli flag fluttering in the wind. The sun beats down on the desert as various tourists are shown floating in the nearby sea. The camera eventually pans out towards a beach which is covered in thick white salt as the loud revving of an engine is heard in the distance.)

(The camera pans outwards to reveal a large mansion on the shoreline of the Dead Sea. There are numerous servants running around carrying out tasks such as gardening, cleaning, and other routine maintenance. The gates are closed.)

(TLA is suddenly approached by a woman who approaches. TLA turns around to find a woman wearing a clean pressed suit with her hair tied back. She adjusts her thick glasses and produces a tablet which she quickly scans over looking for something.)
???: No it would seem there is nothing scheduled for today. Mr. King is not here to receive visitors I am afraid. He is busy with business in Cameroon according to his plans. I can set something up for you for when he returns however, I do not know when that will be. I understand you have come a long way out here but maybe one of our staff can escort you back to town?

(The woman produces a large jar from a briefcase which has several $5 bills inside of it. The side of the jar reads “Swear Jar” as she taps on the sign repeatedly to indicate that TLA has broken some kind of rule.)
TLA: Nah nah I’m broke for real. But I am rich in love. And you know that is exactly why I am out here. You know that you ain’t got shit on that schedule but I be here to surprise y’all. (The woman holds the jar closer to TLA clearly still expecting some kind of payment which does not come. She sets the jar down before looking at TLA quizzically as if unsure what he is talking about.)
Mansion Staff: So you are the substitute workers for today? We have been running a little short lately… We used to have more people around here back when Sir Myles and Lady Minerva provided most of the funding for this place.

(The woman scrolls through the tablet as she squints up at TLA and down at the tablet.)

(Suddenly a loud beat begins to play as a music video montage of house construction plays ending with a logo for “Xtreme Casa Makeover: Dead Sea Edition” featuring TLA dressed in a construction outfit. Steroid Dawg is shown wearing a hard hat as numerous Poons in skimpy bikinis are shown smashing things with sledgehammers in slow motion.)
(Several hours later.)
(The camera fades in to the outdoor pool of the mansion where TLA is shown chilling in a hammock as numerous Poons are shown performing acrobatic maneuvers off a diving board into the pool. One Poon is shown twirling down a marble column in the mansion’s courtyard as she lands on the ground performing the splits before sliding back up and twerking.)
Mansion Staff: Excuse me sir. But how is this in any way relevant to taking care of the house? All you people have done is smash things and drink tequila since you arrived. I didn’t even know we had alcohol here. Mr. King doesn’t allow that.
TLA: Tranquilo for real. You just gots to chill out. Taking care of the casa means taking care of yo self. You know that this ain’t just a mansion and we ain’t gotta treat it like none of that. This is a Palace and you know what that mean.
Mansion Staff: No what does that even mean???
TLA: It means when you in the palace. You that royalty. So you just gotta chill. Forget all about Senor King and his hating ass rules. You know we about to get our fiesta on.
Mansion Staff: I can assure you that Mr. King has explicitly forbidden all fiestas on his property.
TLA: Well that is his problem. Cuz the fiesta has already started and it ain’t never stop. Yo we gotta get back to smashing shit. Gotta clear way for the dance floor if you feel me.
Mansion Staff: The dance floor???
(Another montage airs showing TLA, Steroid Dawg, and the Poons smashing entire rooms of the mansion with sledgehammers in order to clear out space for a large dance floor. They set up all kinds of flashing lights and hire Israel’s finest DJ. Soon the entire dance floor is packed to the rafters as the entire mansion shakes from the party that is taking place.)
(TLA is shown chilling at the bar as the dance goes on behind him when the mansion staff lady comes rushing up to him. She is much less professionally groomed this time. Her hair is frazzled and her suit is not properly buttoned as she looks at the commotion with concern.)
Mansion Staff: Where… where did all of these people come from? This is the Dead Sea and we are out in the desert? Did you bring these people in from the city?
TLA: That’s right mami. You know that we done took a drive down to Jerusalem cuz we was asking ourselves some simple questions. Where the hood at? Where the hood where the hood where the hood at? So we couldn’t let them questions go unanswered. This is EAW we had to get them answerz. So we went in and you know we done found all kinds of hood up in there. Shit bad for real. Got them Israeli policemen just busting into people’s houses n shit. Just evicting people out they houses like you know where the fuck they even gonna go. So you know we done giving them places to live. Like damn the feds just be hating all over the world even out the barrio.
(The mansion staff member facepalms as she comprehends what has occurred.)
Mansion Staff: Are you saying that you invited Palestinian refugees into Mr. King’s mansion?!? What are you even thinking?
TLA: Ayyy don’t discriminate in my presence. You people gotta learn how to get along. This the Poon Palace and you know that we all chill up in here. Don’t matter where you from we ain’t got no borders out here. You know we are solving these crises one Poon at a time. Speaking of which we gots to get to work on the bedrooms. You know that this place almost a proper Poon Palace we in them final stages.
Mansion Staff: Oh whatever. That means you will be done here right?
(TLA is escorted upstairs to the private bedrooms where he anticipates they won’t have much work to be done. A fancy mansion like this the rooms are probably just perfect for the Poons and they guests already.)
Mansion Staff: After you sir.
TLA: Now this is what I’m talking ab-
(TLA enters the bedrooms as he is shocked silent in confusion at what he has seen.)
TLA: Oh hell nah. This ain’t going to work at all. I thought you said that these rooms were suitable for couples?
Mansion Staff: Indeed they are sir.
TLA: Then why is it like this?
(TLA gestures across the room in annoyance at the two single beds in each room pushed as far away from each other as possible each on one side of the long rooms.)
TLA: These things so far apart you couldn’t even have a conversation with yo chica.
Mansion Staff: Yes that is correct! Mr. King thought of the idea himself. When his many connections bring their wives or husbands to this place we make sure that everything is quite proper. Mr. King does not want any funny business in his home! No this is the top floor of the manor. Which means the eyes of the Lord are upon us all as we speak!
TLA: Well the homie best cover them eyes cuz there ain’t no telling what he about to see. Steroid Dawg por favor fetch that duct tape!
(TLA is shown shoving two beds together as Steroid Dawg hustles up with duct tape. TLA ties the beds together firmly with the duct tape as the staff member looks on in horror.)
TLA: There we go. Now this place a proper Poon Palace for real. We gonna be the hidden jewel of Israel out here.
(A final montage airs as the Poon Construction Company puts the final touches on the place. They set up a series of spotlights outside of the mansion in order to announce their location as much as possible to anyone in the nearby area. Speakers are installed in every room and hallway of the building. Drake King’s trophy case is shoved out in a nearby ditch as it is replaced instead with a liquor cabinet.)
???: Wow I can’t believe how much this place has changed in just a few days.
TLA: Ayo who is this???
(An unknown woman approaches wearing a bandana, a wifebeater, and long socks as she strolls in to the club and fist bumps with TLA.)
TLA: Oh shit you the butler or whatever?
Mansion Staff: You know that if you can’t beat em you gots to join them. Fuck Mr. King we doing shit our way now— Ooops I shouldn’t have said that…
(TLA has to restrain her as she desperately tries to deposit her entire monthly paycheck into the Swear Jar. Instead TLA grabs the Swear Jar away from her and tosses it across the room as it shatters in the middle of the dance floor causing a frenzy among the guests as they grab as much money as they can.)
Mansion Staff: You… you broke it… I can’t believe this. I never thought this could happen.
TLA: What do you mean? It’s just a glass jar…
Mansion Staff: You don’t understand TLA. Mr. King… It is more than that. You just destroyed the symbol of his very control over us all. It wasn’t just swear words in the normal sense. It wasn’t just the usual words that most people might think of as inappropriate. You should have seen the length of the list of words he would not allow us to say. I had never even heard of some of them before… Some of them I couldn’t even come up with a reason why they would be bad. But Mr. King was insistent. We were so afraid… But now… now finally at last… the jar has been broken! We are free!!! :blessed:
TLA: Good good. Y’all know that freedom is what matters. Gotta talk yo shit. Also thanks for getting my lowrider outta that salt. Cuz looking down at the shore. It looks like even more has washed up. It’s like the entire time we have been here it has only gotten saltier and saltier. (TLA is shown getting into his lowrider and driving off to his next destination after saying adios to everyone else at the newest established international Poon Palace. As he drives away he can hear the music pick back up inside leaving him content knowing that the fiesta can’t stop and won’t stop.)
(As the pre-taped segment fades out, the camera cuts to a shot of Drake King, who had been watching on a monitor. He is horrified at what just unfolded.)

James Peters: What a few weeks by Drake, the victory at Anarchy In The Arena and then we find out he was working to get TLA fired. TLA promised to get his hands on him which makes you wonder if his focus is all there.
Persephone: After what TLA did, I could see why anyone would be mad! We should all learn to be nice to each other here on Voltage, then this wouldn’t happen.
(“Primerose” by Dream State plays to a mixed, but mostly positive reaction from the crowd. Daryl walks out laser focused despite what happened with Ronan Malosi earlier. Daryl looks directly at Drake, ready to get this match started, as Daryl has mentioned throughout the week that he plans to get back on track. Daryl heads down the ramp and towards the ring, not wasting too much time.)

Rich Russillo: Daryl has had his fair share of problems, only with Ronan. Ronan cost him a win and he got him back in a big way. Tonight he looks to get back in the winning column.

Rich Russillo: And off we go here as Drake and Daryl circle the ring before looking for a test of strength locking hands. BUT DRAKE WITH A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION! Drake drives Daryl back into the corner, and begins to choke him out before the referee steps in to create a little bit of separation, but only for a second as Drake approaches Daryl, but Daryl stops him in his tracks with an elbow to the face…and then he runs and delivers a standing dropkick that causes Drake roll under the ropes to the outside as the crowd boos him.
James Peters: NOT FOR LONG THOUGH AS DARYL TAKES HIM OUT WITH A SUICIDE DIVE THROUGH THE SECOND ROPE DRIVING DRAKE INTO THE BARRICADE! Daryl throws Drake back inside before climbing up the apron and making his way up to the top rope….AND THEN DELIVERS A CROSSBODY TO DRAKE KING! But Drake rolls through up to his feet holding Daryl, and then goes for a spinning side slam…but Daryl somehow lands on his feet, and then delivers a high knee strike that drives Drake into the corner!
Persephone: Daryl runs full speed at him in the corner – But Drake this time stops him in his tracks with a elbow to the face, and then Drake springboards off of the second rope and hits a enziguri kick to the side of the head before flipping Daryl on his back going for the first cover in this matchup!!

Daryl begs for Drake to get back to his feet, and a dropkick to the kneecap before running off the ropes and going for the shining wizard in the back of the head….but Drake seems to have eyes at the back of his head as he ducked it and Daryl rebounds off the opposite ropes – BUT DRAKE WAS WAITING FOR HIM WITH A SLINGBLADE! Momentum going back and forth between these two in the early goings of this match.
James Peters: Drake looks to keep the momentum going in his favor as he charges at Daryl in the corner – AND CONNECTS WITH A LEAPING SPLASH!! Drake now lifts him high on the top rope and goes up top with him looking for the superplex!! BUT DARYL IS FIGHTING BACK WITH SEVERAL SHOTS TO THE RIBS!! And now Daryl looks to be the one in control as he headbutted Drake repeatedly…and Drake loses his balance and falls off of the top rope!! James Peters: Drake though is trying with all his will to prevent it having his fingers locked. And Drake uses his lower body to prevent a break saving himself, at least for the moment. Drake avoids disaster as he pulls himself up on the outside apron, and LOOK OUT!! DARYL RUNS AND SPEARS DRAKE THROUGH THE SECOND ROPE AS THEY BOTH CRASH HARD ON THE OUTSIDE FLOOR!! I think Daryl may have landed on his neck a little bit funky right there as Drake hard on the back of his head. Both men are down now as the referee begins his count!

Persephone: Daryl is trying to shake the cobwebs out as best as he possibly can as he begins to stir to his feet.

Rich Russillo: Daryl is back up and slides in and out of the ring to break the count, AND THE MOMENT MAY HAVE BEEN EXACTLY WHAT DRAKE NEEDED AS HE DRIVES DARYL SPINE FIRST INTO THE EDGE OF THE APRON!! Drake now repeatedly delivers severe strikes to the head before tossing Daryl back inside the ring. Drake steps up in the apron and begins to measure up Daryl- AND DRAKE SPRINGBOARDS!! James Peters: Drake is the one back in control now thinking of what to do next to try and perhaps put this match away. He measures Daryl up, and then springboards off of the top rope and connects with a leaping clothesline! Daryl is back up quickly, and then a step up enziguri that knocks Daryl back into the corner. Rich Russillo: What a match between two warriors here tonight, but Drake prevails, and we all saw what he did at the end using TLA’s move at the end. Daryl refused to tap though showing his heart which he put on full display tonight.
James Peters: Drake aiming to send a message to TLA by doing something we might have never seen before and picking up a submission victory with that move, but after what TLA did tonight, I think whether or not Daryl tapped out is the last of Drake’s worries right now.

(Voltage returns to ringside and the camera fades to the stage. After a few seconds, ‘Pass The Nirvana’ by PTV hits, which is met by a loud and mixed reaction. Theron Nikolas slowly begins to walk out with a microphone in his hand, and he is clearly not in a good mood after what happened last week with his manager Natasha Agnello, as well as the week before. Theron walks down towards the ring not paying any attention to neither the fans that are cheering nor those that are booing, only thinking about the man responsible for the attacks lately: Samael.)
James Peters: Theron Nikolas has a major match tonight as he goes up against the EAW World Champion Minerva, but before we get there it looks like he has something he wants to get off his chest first!
Rich Russillo: I don’t think there’s any point in wondering what it is he has to say, either. He already did all the talking throughout the week when it comes to this match. There’s only one thing this could really be about, especially after all that’s happened in the past few weeks. This is clearly about Samael.
James Peters: That’s right. Samael has viciously attacked both Theron Nikolas and Natasha Agnello, and clearly Theron isn’t taking too kindly to it!
(Theron enters the ring, and he takes a few seconds before looking directly towards the crowd and beginning to speak.)
Theron Nikolas: Very soon I’ll be taking on Minerva in a match I’ve been anticipating since my arrival to Voltage. With a match like this only minutes away, the only reason I should be out here is because it’s time for me to compete. There shouldn’t be anything else on my mind right now. Preparing to face Minerva, bringing everything I have to the table whether I leave Voltage with a win or a hard-fought defeat under my belt, those should be the only things running through my mind right now, and yet it’s not. I don’t think there’s enough time for me to stand here and explain just how frustrating it is having an opportunity like this, all while being reminded of what’s happened for the past few weeks over and over again. This isn’t anything I haven’t already dealt with. I’ve faced this man, this monster, or whatever he is just this season in a losing effort. We thought it was a learning experience, but clearly the wrong lesson was taken away from it. At the time I was prepared to keep pushing myself. I was ready to move forward because I understand that I’m not invincible, and while I didn’t realize it until after the match was over, I had clearly underestimated my opponent and gave them an advantage that I’ll make sure they’ll never have again. I failed that week but it was far from the end of the world. Far from a setback that couldn’t be overcome and with time forgotten about, and it was only a few weeks following that match that I’d face off against Hikari Kanno at Super Voltage. I didn’t think that I’d be repeating history so soon, and I never would have expected my next confrontation with Samael to be caused by a victory against Kylie Grace.
(The crowd explodes into loud boos for the man that has terrorized members of the Voltage roster throughout the season, the current 24/7 Contract Holder, Samael. Theron Nikolas is visibly more frustrated after saying his name, still thinking of the attacks on him and Natasha Agnello over the past few weeks, which started after Theron faced Kylie Grace weeks ago. The crowd quiets down after a bit, giving Theron Nikolas the chance to continue speaking.)
Theron Nikolas: A few weeks ago Samael attacked me directly after my match against Kylie Grace. I could’ve left Voltage that week prepared to continue moving forward, coming just a bit closer to my goal of reclaiming what I’d lost, yet instead I left Voltage with a target on my back, and now a man I had no business with is breathing down my neck, waiting on a weekly basis for the right opportunity to strike. Natasha isn’t here with me tonight and she won’t be joining me for my match either, and it’s because she’s still recovering from what Samael did to her. After I was attacked following my match against Kylie Grace I spent some time wondering why, and seeing Natasha suffer the same fate just a week later didn’t exactly give me the answers that I was looking for. At first I wondered if he wanted to make a name for himself at my expense and believed attacking me was just the best way to get my attention, but clearly it’s something else entirely. The two of us have a goal, a goal that had no reason to make us targets to Samael. I’ve heard many things, and I’ve even been told about the connection Kylie has to Samael, and yet after all the losses she’s suffered I’m the only opponent of hers who had the misfortune of getting on Samael’s bad side. After all the matches she’s had in this company, even since the friendship that’s been formed, I’m the only Elitist she’s faced that ended their night staring at the lights because of him. Clearly I’ve become an enemy of his and with that Natasha’s become one as well, but the worst assumption Samael could’ve made is that I’d sit back and allow him to continue interfering with my career on a weekly basis.
Theron Nikolas: If there’s one thing I can say, it’s that none of this could’ve been by chance. These weren’t random acts of violence that Natasha and I were the unfortunate victims of. Samael knows exactly what he’s doing, and I don’t expect him to stop anytime soon, so I’ll be ready the next time he decides to show his face. I’ve already spent a large portion of this season fighting against Elitists who only ever caught my eye because they were arrogant enough to lay me out and carry on with the mindset that blindsiding me alone would be enough to push their careers to greater heights. In fact I’d say I’ve spent too much time on Elitists like those, so I’m not going to sit here and allow Samael to get away with any of this. I’m not going to let Samael derail my career any further than it’s already gone for the past few weeks. If a match is what Samael wants then that’s what he’ll get. If he wants to show up every week to try and attack me I’ll be prepared for it. Either way I’m going to make sure Samael understands that no matter what setbacks I may have suffered, including a loss against him this season, I’m not the type of Elitist that’ll just sit back and allow him to do whatever he wants at my expense. Reclaiming my throne, surpassing the Elitist that I once was, that’s the goal that I have. That’s what I fight for every single week, and that goal won’t be taken away from me by somebody like Samael, a coward that resorts to blindsiding me after matches and attacking Natasha, who doesn’t even enter the ring and shouldn’t have ever been part of this. No matter what your motives are, no matter why you’re doing this, I’m not going to be a punching bag for you. You’re here Samael. I know you are, so why don’t you go ahead and stop wasting everyone’s time.
(Theron stops speaking and the crowd quiets down in anticipation, waiting for a possible appearance from Samael. Theron waits for a little while, even checking around the crowd to make sure that he isn’t blindsided once again, but he isn’t given a response.)
James Peters: It looks like we may not be seeing a repeat of what happened after Theron’s match against Kylie Grace, nor will we be seeing Theron get his revenge, as Samael hasn’t answered him!
Persephone: That’s good. Theron still has a match tonight, I definitely wouldn’t wanna see anything happen that could stop tonight’s main event from
happening! 😃
Rich Russillo: Theron is clearly unhappy about this situation and rightfully so, but whatever the case is Persephone is right. It shouldn’t be long before Minerva is out here, and I don’t think this is a match Theron would want to see go to waste!
(Theron notices that Samael isn’t coming, so he just turns towards the camera before continuing to speak.)
Theron Nikolas: Fine. If you don’t want to show your face then you don’t have to, as long as you understand that the next time you do show up, you won’t be as fortunate as you were before, and I won’t go down anywhere near as easily. I have a match to focus on anyway, and as I’ve said it’s a match that I’ve been waiting a long time for, so if you’re not here tonight then I’ll have no problem waiting for you next week, or whenever you actually feel like showing up and doing the same thing you’ve been doing for the past few weeks. Whatever the case is I’m not going to let neither myself nor Natasha fall victim to attacks like this anymore. I’m ready for whatever you have to offer at this point. You’re not going to be the one to stop me from reaching the one goal I’m here for. You won’t succeed where everyone else has failed, so from here on out you should watch out, because I’m no longer the only one with a target on my back. It’s safe to say that you crossed the line a very long time ago, long enough that I’ve had more than enough time to think about it, and decide that I’m not going to sit back and watch this continue. Instead, I’m going to make you pay the price. For attacking me, for attacking Natasha, and for being the next person to stand in our way. I’m coming for you, and this won’t stop until I’m capable of getting my career back on track without having to watch my back in case you’re lurking around somewhere. One way or another Samael you will be taken down, and when this is over I plan to be the only one walking away from this.
(Theron Nikolas finishes speaking, dropping the mic out of the ring as he removes his entrance gear in preparation for his match. From there, ‘Pass the Nirvana’ begins playing once more as the mix of cheers and boos from the fans continue.)
James Peters: Those were some strong words from Theron Nikolas, who seems to be setting his sights on Samael thanks to his actions over the past few weeks! I can’t say that this wasn’t expected after all that Samael has done, the question is, does Theron really know what he’s getting himself into?
Rich Russillo: I don’t know if it’s about that. Regardless of who it is, I can’t name many people that’d allow constant attacks on them and the people they care about to go without a single response! Even then, I wouldn’t say Theron doesn’t know what he’s getting himself into. He’s faced Samael before, he knows how dangerous he is!
James Peters: Yeah, but he faced him in a losing effort. Theron wants revenge one way or another, and I guess we’ll just have to find out whether or not he can get what he wants.
Persephone: I’m glad that we get to watch Theron compete after such a long promo! I think everyone on Voltage should cut really long promos right before their matches! It’d be so much more fun! Go Theron! 😄
(As ‘Pass the Nirvana’ continues, Theron Nikolas waits in the corner of the ring for his opponent to come out, ready for tonight’s main event match as Voltage fades out to the final commercial break of the night.)
(Commercial for Overwatch 2, featuring Jake Smith who shares footage of himself losing miserably. Play it now!)
(Voltage fades to the commentary table, where James Peters, Persephone and Rich Russillo are seated.)
James Peters: Ladies and gentlemen, in a few short moments we’re scheduled for our main event of the evening, but before that there’s something urgent we have to show all of you!
Rich Russillo: That’s right. During the break something happened backstage!
(The titantron turns on, showing what’s currently going on backstage, before the camera fades to the area. Veena Adams is seen screaming and calling for help, and officials quickly run down to the area, where Charlie Marr is seen laid out with a baseball bat next to him. Charlie is in a lot of pain, rolling around and holding his knee which seems to have been the area that was attacked, and Veena is comforting Charlie as the officials rush to the area. Charlie and Veena aren’t the only Elitists in the area though, and as the camera pans out, the EAW World Champion Minerva is seen there as well, looking down at the Hardcore Champion. Clearly this is because of what happened earlier in the night, during the Hardcore Championship match between Charlie and Lexi, where both Veena Adams and Minerva were at ringside. Towards the end of the match Charlie would attack Minerva, causing a brawl where Charlie laid her out, something Minerva seemed to get payback for with this attack.)
Minerva: I’m the wrong person to **BLEEP** with.
(Veena and a few officials try to help Charlie up, taking him away from the area so he can be checked out and treated after the attack that occurred during the commercial break, and a few more officials come in to make sure Minerva doesn’t do any further damage to Charlie after already attacking him. Minerva just stares at Charlie with a face full of hatred, but after a few seconds she begins to walk away from the area, leaving for her main event match as the camera returns to ringside.)
James Peters: It looks like Minerva was looking for some revenge after Charlie Marr attacked her during the opening match tonight!
Rich Russillo: There’s no way Charlie will allow Minerva to get away with that, but I think Minerva just removed the possibility of Charlie getting involved with this match!
James Peters: Very bad way to end the night for Charlie Marr, but it has to be said that he did that to himself! Charlie is the one that struck first at the start of the night, this was Minerva fighting back! Now, very soon Minerva should be out here for tonight’s main event!
(Voltage cuts to the ring where we see Theron Nikolas standing in the center after his words before the break. After a moment, ‘Blood, Milk, and Sky’ by White Zombie hits, as the crowd goes into a loud mixed reaction. Minerva then steps out on stage with a pissed off expression on her face. After her encounters with Charlie today, she’s not one to mess with. She makes her way down to the ring angrily as both her and Theron stare at one another.)
Bella Braxton: The following contest is set for…

Bella Braxton: And it is your main event of the evening!! Introducing first!! Already in the ring! From Edmunton, Alberta, Canada!! Weighing 224lbs!!! GHOST!! THERON NIKOLAS!!!
(The camera shows Theron in the ring as he raises his arm up.)
Bella Braxton: And his opponent l!! From The Florida Everglades!!! Weighing 122lbs!!! YOUR EAW WORLD CHAMPION!! MINERVA!!!!!
James Peters: Both Minerva and Theron find themselves in some pretty physical situations heading into this match. The back and forth between Minerva and Charlie along with all of the events between Samael and Theron these past few weeks! These two have been through a lot!!
Persephone: But that only means there’s a ton of built up frustration that needs to be let out, and this match right here is the perfect place to do it!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Rich Russillo: There’s the bell and now this main event match is underway! Both Minerva and Theron Nikolas begin to circle around the center of the ring before tying up with one another. Theron clearly has the strength advantage here, but the champion wisely drives her knee into his midsection to weaken his grip.
James Peters: Theron does a sudden gasp for air, but is immediately locked into a standing side headlock by Minerva! She wrenches at his head and neck. Squeezing and wearing down Theron is what she’s doing here, and that’s not a bad strategy by the champion.
Rich Russillo: Yeah, but Theron isn’t going to allow it! He wraps his arms around her, steps back towards the side ropes, then uses the spring of the ropes to shove Minerva off! The champion runs to the other side, rebounds back..
Persephone: RUNNING CLOTHESLINE BY MINERVA!!
James Peters: NO!! Theron Nikolas ducks underneath the arm, as Minerva continues running towards the ropes! She rebounds once again, as Theron Nikolas is set up for a back body drop!!
Persephone: BUT MINERVA BLASTS THERON WITH A POWERFUL KICK THAT LANDS RIGHT AT THE CHEST!! That kick brought Theron to an upright position in front of Minerva!! He staggers back..
James Peters: RUNNING STO BY MINERVA!!!
Rich Russillo: NO!! THERON NIKOLAS DUCKS THE ARM AND MANAGES TO HOOK MINERVA’S ARMS AND BRING HER DOWN WITH A BACKSLIDE PIN!!

James Peters: Minerva immediately back rolls out of it, as Theron is still down on his hands and knees..
Rich Russillo: BASEBALL SLIDE DROPKICK BY MINERVA, AND IT LANDS DIRECTLY AT THERON NIKOLAS’ HEAD!!! He’s clutching at his skull! Feeling absolute pain from that one right there!
Persephone: Minerva slowly rises back up to her feet, as she looks back at Theron who is absolutely hurting right now.
James Peters: Well here she goes! The champion kicks Ghost’s body over, as he now lays on his back. Minerva then gets down and.. SHE JUST LANDED A STRAIGHT JAB TO THE FACE!! ANOTHER!! AND ANOTHER!! THESE ARE CLOSED FIST PUNCHES THAT ARE GETTING THROWN WITH TREMENDOUS POWER AND SPEED! ANOTHER ONE SMACKS THERON IN THE FACE, SO THAT’S FOUR NASTY JABS BY MINERVA!!
Rich Russillo: The EAW World Champion now rises up to her feet, and grabs Theron by the head. She pulls him up to his feet, then instantly delivers a quick knee to the abdomen of Theron! Nikolas nearly falls to his knees, but Minerva keeps him up!
Persephone: AND HERE GOES MINERVA WITH A SCOOP SLAM!!!
James Peters: NO!! Just as Minerva was lifting Theron up in the air, he managed to push himself off and ended behind Minerva!! SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX!!!
Rich Russillo: Wow!! That one nearly broke her neck!! Theron hit that with tremendous force, and now it’s Minerva who is clutching at her head!! Theron quickly gets back to his feet and walks over to the side of Minerva. KICK TO THE MIDSECTION BY THERON, AS MINERVA DROPS FLAT ON HER STOMACH ON THE RING!!
Persephone: Theron Nikolas quickly stands over Minerva, and wraps his arms around her waist.. He lifts her up!!
James Peters: DEADLIFT SITOUT POWERBOMB BY THERON NIKOLAS!!

Rich Russillo: NO!! Theron blocks the punch with his arm, then fires back with a left hook to the rib!! That one knocks the wind out of Minerva.. AND THAT’S A SLAP TO THE FACE!! James Peters: NO!!! MINERVA CATCHES THERON AND SLAMS HIM BACK DOWN TO THE MAT WITH A SNAP SCOOP POWERSLAM!!!
Rich Russillo: Wow that one had to hurt! Minerva timed that perfectly, and now it seems like she has just regained control of this match.
James Peters: Well the EAW World Champion gets to her feet quickly, as Theron scrambles up to his feet soon after.. BUT IT’S MINERVA WITH A RUNNING STO THAT TAKES THERON RIGHT BACK DOWN TO THE CANVAS OF THE RING!! Wow she really just whipped him right down to the mat with that one!!
Persephone: Minerva keeps a hold of Theron’s wrist, and pulls him back up to his feet. She still has that wrist gripped tightly, and she uses it to pull Theron in!! SHORT ARM CLOTHESLINE!!!
James Peters: NO!! THERON DUCKS THE ARM, THEN GETS FROM BEHIND MINERVA!!! GERMAN SUPLEX BY THERON NIKOLAS!!! It connects, and now Minerva is down on the ring mat!
Rich Russillo: There has been a lot of back and forth action so far in this match, and neither Elitist has managed to control this match for long.
James Peters: That’s what it’s like here on Voltage. We have the toughest Elitists and the most competitive matches, and this one is no different.
Rich Russillo: Theron is already up to his feet, as he delivers an elbow to the back of Minerva’s head just as she was working up onto her hands and knees! She drops down to her forearms, as Theron then grabs her by the head and hair, then brings her to her feet! Theron now whips her towards the corner, as she rushes at the turnbuckles at full speed before crashing back first into them!!
Persephone: Theron really sent her into that corner hard, and now Theron positions himself near the center of the ring, as he stares directly at Minerva in the corner! What does he have in mind here?! This can’t be good!!! HE RUSHES RIGHT AT MINERVA!!!

Rich Russillo: NO!!! MINERVA STEPS OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST POSSIBLE SECOND, AS THERON’S LEG GOES OVER THE TOP ROPE!! What a counter by Minerva who leaves Theron with his leg hanging over the rope while balancing on the other!! Theron is trying to get his leg off, but..
James Peters: DEVILS TOUCH!!! MINERVA JUST SNAPPED THE BOTTOM OF HER BOOT AGAINST THE BACK OF THERON’S HEAD AND HE ENDS UP GOING LIMP BEFORE DROPPING TO THE CANVAS OF THE RING IN AN INSTANT!! He is definitely seeing stars right now, because that Super Kick by Minerva was strong!

James Peters: Regardless of the condition he’s in, there is no doubt that Minerva’s superkick has him in a position that he wants no part in. Rich Russillo: Minerva orchestrated a combination of two pretty tough moves, but against Theron, you’ll need more than that. Let’s not forget that Theron has been a former world champion as well. Having held the title for 247 days, there’s no question that he’s no stranger to matches of this caliber. He definitely has the resilience, but how is he going to find his way out of this one right here?
James Peters: Will Minerva even allow him to find a way out at all? She reaches down and grabs Theron from off of the mat! She then shoves him back, as he crashes up against the corner turnbuckles!! MINERVA WITH A CLOSED FIST PUNCH TO THE MIDSECTION!! ANOTHER TO THE FACE!! THE WORLD CHAMPION IS NAILING THERON WITH MULTIPLE STRIKES IN THE CORNER, AND SHE FINISHES OFF WITH A KNEE TO THE ABDOMEN!!

James Peters: Not just that, but she rolls out onto the ring apron, then drops down to the ringside floor right afterwards. Minerva clutches at her head in pain, as Theron Nikolas gets back to his feet from inside of the ring.
Persephone: Theron Nikolas makes his way out of the ring, and approaches Minerva. She’s worked up to her hands and knees, but we can see that she’s definitely affected by that knee strike from moments ago. Theron grabs Minerva by the head and neck then brings her up to her feet. From here, Nikolas tosses the world champion up against the edge of the ring!!
Rich Russillo: LEFT HOOK BY THERON!! NOW A RIGHT FOREARM!!! ANOTHER HOOK!!! AND ANOTHER!! THERON IS BEATING MINERVA UP HERE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING! THERON NOW WITH A RIGHT HOOK THAT DROPS MINERVA DOWN TO A KNEE!!
Referee: One.. Two..
James Peters: Theron Nikolas now grabs Minerva by the head and neck. He brings her up into a front face lock, then lifts her high in the air, then spins hard!!!! THAT’S THE TWISTING BRAINBUSTER, AND HE JUST USED IT TO SLAM MINERVA DOWN ONTO THE RING APRON!!!
Persephone: Minerva is definitely hurting after that one, and Theron knows this. He’s slowly getting up to his feet, and shoves Minerva into the ring, as she rolls under the bottom rope and lays flat in the ring!
Rich Russillo: And now Theron uses the side ropes to put himself up onto the ring apron. He then walks over to a nearby corner, and begins to scale up to the top rope! Oh no!! This does not look good for Minerva! This does not look good at all!! Theron Nikolas gets his feet set in the corner, as he stares down at the EAW World Champion!!!
James Peters: 6 STAR FROG SPLASH!!!!
Rich Russillo: NOBODY HOME!!! MINERVA ROLLED OUT OF THE WAY RIGHT BEFORE HE COULD FINISH THE MOVE, AND SO NOW IT’S THERON WHO SMACKS AGAINST THE RING MAT!!!
James Peters: Theron Nikolas pops back up to an upright kneeling position, as he clutches at his chest. He looks across the ring, and sees Minerva down on one knee, and slowly working her way back up to her feet.
Persephone: AND THERON SEES THIS AS AN OPENING, AS HE DESPERATELY GETS TO HIS FEET, AND CHARGES RIGHT AT MINERVA WHO IS FINALLY STANDING!!!
Rich Russillo: BUT THERON RUNS RIGHT INTO A SPINEBUSTER BY MINERVA!!! MINERVA JUST CONNECTED WITH A SPINEBUSTER THAT MADE THE RING ROAR OUT TO THIS SOLD OUT CROWD!!! SHE HIT THAT ONE WITH AUTHORITY!!!
James Peters: Yeah, that was one heck of a spinebuster if you ask me! Theron didn’t see it coming, and that only added to it. Minerva knows the damage has been dealt, and so she covers him for the pin!

THEN LANDS A NASTY RIGHT HOOK!! These are closed fist punches, and they are connecting perfectly onto Theron Nikolas!! Minerva now with a knee to the abdomen, as Nikolas hunches over!! Minerva now runs to the side ropes!! She rebounds back!!!
Persephone: SCISSOR KICK!!!
Rich Russillo: NO!!! THERON NIKOLAS GETS OUT OF THE WAY, AS MINERVA LANDS FLAT ON HER BUTT!!
James Peters: Minerva is slowly working herself up to her feet, but once she’s there.. IT’S THERON WITH THE TOUCH OF HEROINE!!! RAINMAKER LARIAT!!!!

James Peters: And look at this! Nikolas reaches down and grabs at the world champion’s wrists. Her body is limp, but he pulls on her arms WHILE STOMPING HIS FOOT INTO HER FACE!! James Peters: I think it is!! THERON NIKOLAS GOES FOR A REVER-
Persephone: Wait!! Minerva with a back elbow to the side of the head!!! ANOTHER!!! AND ANOTHER!! Minerva fights her way out of that position, as she hooks her arm around the head of Theron Nikolas! She has him in a front face lock!! What does she have in mind here?!? PARADISE LOST!!! SHE JUST SNAPPED THERON’S HEAD DOWN ONTO THE RING MAT WITH THAT DDT!! WHAT A MOVE BY MINERVA!!!
James Peters: Theron Nikolas is laying flat on his back.. Minerva is right beside him. Both Elitists are absolutely exhausted. They’ve tried so hard to put the other away, but unfortunately nothing has worked! Minerva looks over at Theron, and slowly hovers her arm over the top of his body with the hope of putting this one away!!!

Theron Nikolas won’t give up!! He won’t quit here tonight. If a fight is what Minerva wanted, a fight is what she received. He isn’t backing down!! She isn’t backing down!!! What is it going to take!!
Rich Russillo: Minerva looks over at her hand. She she’s her hand and begins to smile sadistically. She rises to her feet, then reaches down to grip the face of Theron Nikolas with her hand!!! Minerva pulls Theron up to his feet, and continues to squeeze his face!! Her nails and fingers dig into his skin, as the pressure also causes him to get a little light headed!!!! Minerva continues to squeeze, then steps her leg behind his!! STO!!!! THAT’S THE STIR OF THE ECHOES!!! MINERVA JUST HIT HER MOST DEVASTATING MOVE!!!
James Peters: AND LOOK!!! INSTEAD OF GOING FOR THE PINFALL, SHE’S REALLY TRYING TO MAKE A STATEMENT BY GETTING THE SUBMISSION!!! MINERVA HAS BEEN FRUSTRATED AND TICKED OFF EVER SINCE HER ENCOUNTER WITH CHARLIE EARLIER TONIGHT, AND NOW SHE’S RELEASING ALL OF THAT BUILT UP FRUSTRATION ON THERON NIKOLAS!!!
Persephone: Theron tries to rip the hand off of his face, but Minerva continues to press into his face while squeezing as tight as she can!!!
Rich Russillo: Theron Nikolas needs to find a way out of this soon, but it looks like he’s already fading!!! He’s losing his strength, and the grip that he has on Minerva’s wrist is loosening!!! Meanwhile, it looks like Minerva has been able to apply more pressure!!!
James Peters: Theron Nikolas’ arms begin to lower, but he isn’t giving up just yet!! He reaches his arm out to the side and tries to grab the bottom ropes!! He’s fully extended, but can’t reach them!!! What is he going to do?!? How is he going to survive this?!?
Rich Russillo: Theron Nikolas is in a desperate situation here!! Anything to break free from Minerva’s grip! He needs to find a way out! He needs to break free!! His eyes begin to lower, it looks like he’s definitely getting weaker!! He continues to reach out, but with every passing second, his arm falls closer to the mat!!! I don’t know how much longer he can survive this!!!
Persephone: Me neither. But for his sake he should just tap out and call it a night. We can all call it a night.
James Peters: I think that might just be in the cards Persephone! It doesn’t look like Theron is going to find a way out of this!! He’s struggled in this submission hold for too long!! He’s stubborn, so he won’t tap out, but… HIS ARM DROPS TO THE CANVAS OF THE RING AND HIS EYES SHUT WHILE BEING GRIPPED BY MINERVA’S HAND!!! THE REFEREE SEES THIS AND CALLS FOR THE BELL!!!

(‘Blood, Milk, and Sky’ by White Zombie hits as a mixture of boos and cheers fills the arena. After a moment, Minerva finally releases her grip on Theron, and rises up to her feet where she is handed her EAW World Championship, and raises it high in the air. Minerva celebrates her victory, as Theron is seen just now waking up after blacking out from her ultimate finisher.)
Bella Braxton: Here is your winner!! THE EAW WORLD CHAMPION!!! MINERVA!!!!
Rich Russillo: What a highly competitive match we had here tonight! Neither Elitist would take the fall or tap out, and it took arguably Minerva’s most powerful move to put this one away.
James Peters: This was a huge victory for Minerva. With Charlie Marr around the corner, someone like Theron Nikolas is a great opponent to get a victory over to build more momentum heading into her next title defense. She should be proud of her performance tonight, as she continues to demonstrate how great of a champion she really is!
(Minerva is seen walking back up the entrance ramp and backstage with her EAW World Championship. Theron is seen in the center of the ring sitting up. However, out of nowhere, the lights cut out)
James Peters: Huh? What’s going on?
(The lights are still off as a crow screeches out as the high pitched noise echoes throughout the arena. The lights begin to flash on and off now, as we can see Theron Nikolas panicking in the center of the ring. Nobody knows what is going on until the lights turn on and we see Samael towering over Theron Nikolas with his crow, Draven, resting on his shoulders!)
Rich Russillo: It’s Samael!!! And it looks like Theron has just seen a ghost, as he scrambles up to his feet!! We heard what Theron had to say, but I don’t think anyone could’ve expected Samael to appear quite like this!
James Peters: WAIT A SECOND!! SAMAEL SHOOTS HIS ARM OUT AND GRIPS THE THROAT OF THERON NIKOLAS!!! SAMAEL THEN RAISES THERON UP IN THE AIR BY THE THROAT!!! THE FEAR IN THERON’S EYES CAN BE SEEN VIVIDLY!!! WHAT IS SAMAEL GOING TO DO?!?
(After a moment, Samael simply just tosses Theron back down to the canvas, and laughs in a horrifying way, as he watches The former world champion express his fear. Suddenly, the lights cut back off, then instantly turn back on!! But get this! There’s no Samael to be found. Instead all we see is Theron Nikolas sitting in the center of the ring. He’s confused, worried, and frightened.. Meanwhile, the only thing left from Samael is Draven the crow who is sitting on top of the turnbuckle and screeching out towards the arena. Eventually Voltage cuts out, as the screen fades to black.)
