(EAW intro plays.)
(As usual, the Voltage recap begins to play. It starts out with Korey Gaines and Mr. Wrestling XIX being attacked by La Familia, before fading to the matches. Alex Myers is able to defeat Luis De La Rosa. Ruler defeats Roberto De La Rosa after interference from Hayley Morrow. Hayley would then face Mia Santoro, and fight to a double countout. In the main event, Michael S. Connor defeats Donovan Duke after the Jaded Hearts interfere.)
(‘33rd Blakk Glass’ by Zillakami and SosMula hits, and the fans in the Simon Bolivar Stadium in La Paz, Bolivia are heard cheering as the camera pans to shots of them. As always the show opening pyro shoots out, before the camera cuts to the commentary team of James Peters, Rich Russillo and Persephone.)
James Peters: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Sunday night Voltage! As always I am James Peters, and with me are Rich Russillo and-

Rich Russillo: There’s a lot I’m looking forward to today, including a Showcase of Champions and a Champion versus Champion match! Before that though, I want to know what’ll happen with the King of Elite tournament.
(Sunday Night Voltage goes from the commentary booth back to the stage as ‘Self Help Tape’ by Moses Sumney begins to blast through the speakers of the arena. The crowd here tonight is in an uproar as Voltage Commissioner Captain Charisma is seen making his way out from the backstage area. He has a smile on his face as he scans around at the excited atmosphere for tonight, continuing to hype up the crowd as he makes his way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… THE COMMISSIONER OF SUNDAY NIGHT VOLTAGE!!!!!!!!!! CAPTAIN CHARISMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rich Russillo: We’re kicking off the show tonight with the Commissioner, who has a lot to talk about after what happened on last week’s episode of Voltage.
James Peters: It was a chilling sight opening the show to La Familia laying out Mr. Wrestling XIX and Korey Gaines, with their King of Elite First Round matchup ultimately left up in the air until further consideration of their condition after the attack. Of course something needs to come of that, with the Voltage side of the bracket completely out of shape leading into the next round, it seems like Captain Charisma has a solution.
(Captain Charisma makes his way up the steel steps and into the apron, heading into the ring as he walks over and takes a microphone from the ringside area. ‘Self Help Tape’ begins to come to a close as he makes his way toward the center of the ring, as he begins to speak from there.)
Captain Charisma: Bolivia! Welcome to SUNDAY NIGHT VOLTAGE!
(The crowd cheers once again as Captain Charisma raises his microphone into the air, allowing everyone to get their reaction in here tonight before he continues to speak.)
Captain Charisma: Thank you for joining us and I hope you’ve been having a wonderful day. We have a great show lined up for you tonight as the anticipation for the King of Elite Marquee Event coming full speed ahead is through the roof! Championship matches being made official, intense feuds continuing to boil, we’re so glad that you could join us for the ride whether you’re in attendance or watching from home. But ultimately, right now, King of Elite is what I want to talk about, more specifically, the King of Elite Tournament.
(A more solemn expression is on the face of Captain Charisma as he transitions.)
Captain Charisma: Of course, as you may already know, last week the match between Korey Gaines and Mr. Wrestling XIX was meant to be the final First Round match on the Voltage side of things. But following La Familia’s attack before the show could begin, the medical team has informed me that both men will not be able to compete for the foreseeable future, so therefore, there will be no match taking place.
(The crowd boos loudly, Captain Charisma shaking his head in disappointment at the news as well.)
Captain Charisma: It’s unfortunate timing, but thankfully there is a solution. While that was happening, we had three other First Round matches last week where we saw three Voltage Elitists advance to the next round. And instead of them competing in a traditional one-on-one match to determine which ones will be meeting in the Semifinals, INSTEAD, the next round will be a TRIPLE THREAT MATCH! That being between Lt. Colonel Michael Scott Connor and the two members of NICHOLISM, Alex Myers and Ruler!
(The crowd cheers loudly for this as Captain Charisma smiles, looking at the positives rather than the negatives of this whole thing. But before he can continue onward with what he has to say, ‘Zombie’ by The Cranberries begins to play through the speakers of the arena. The crowd responds with a strong mixed reaction as the camera goes over to NICHOLISM, Alex Myers and Ruler as they begin to make their way out to the stage. Both of them are surprisingly nonchalant about the announcement that was just made by the Commissioner as they make their way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Rich Russillo: Well here comes Alex and Ruler, and with the two of them being a part of the same team and now having to compete against one another to keep their aspirations of being King of Elite alive, one has to wonder just how much that is going to affect them.
James Peters: NICHOLISM is a team built off the wars that the two of them have waged in the past, and the bond that has been created as a result. I’m sure that is a problem for neither of them heading into this and as far as I know they’re willing to fight each other if it means getting the victory.
Persephone: Oh brother, save me the sob story. I already had to sit through it the first time when they first formed, not again.
(Alex and Ruler both make their way into the ring, Ruler taking microphones for both of them and handing it to Alex. The two of them eye Captain Charisma who is more than welcome to have them in the ring. After some time, Alex begins to speak from there.)
Alex Myers: I-
(But before they can speak, seemingly on cue ‘Won’t Back Down’ by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers is heard playing through the speakers of the arena as Lt. Colonel Michael Scott Connor is seen marching out to the stage. He has an interested expression on his face as he also has heard the announcement about his future in the King of Elite tournament. After some time he makes his way down the ramp.)
Rich Russillo: But we can’t forget Michael either, who got a win against Donovan Duke in the main event of Voltage last week to advance in the King of Elite tournament. Albeit it was thanks to interference from the Unified Tag Team Champions The Jaded Hearts, but it doesn’t take away from the importance of making it through which is what Michael did.
James Peters: And now he looks to keep the ball rolling, but the two other Elitists inside the ring just so happen to be in the way of that. Michael has had the odds against him before in a Voltage ring, and most of the time we’ve seen him able to overcome said odds. Will he do so again now that this triple threat has been made?
(Michael makes his way up the steps and into the ring, heading over and getting a microphone for himself as ‘Won’t Back Down’ begins to come to a close. NICHOLISM stares at Michael as he enters, and Captain Charisma looks to ease the tension.)
Captain Charisma: Well actually I’m glad that all of you have shown up for this. The anticipation for this triple threat has reached a high and now would be a good time for all of you to get your thoughts in about it.
Michael S. Connor: I noticed Alex was about to speak so I’d like to apologize for interrupting them. I just can’t say I’m very thrilled knowing why this triple threat is happening rather than another round of singles matches. That, and while I’m more than prepared to bring my A-game to this match and am grateful for the opportunity I’ve been presented with, I couldn’t help but notice that I am the odd one out here.
(Michael looks towards Alex and Ruler as he says this, and for a moment the two Elitists look towards each other, immediately understanding what he means. Alex and Ruler are a tag team and beyond that have been friends with years of history. Neither Elitist has this kind of connection with Michael, the third participant in this triple threat.)
Alex Myers: I see what you mean. We’re teammates, so you think that might leave you at a disadvantage. I get the concern, but I hope you understand that this is a triple threat, not a handicap match. We know only one of us can win regardless of how much we both care about our partnership. I’ll admit, ultimately I do want to see NICHOLISM succeed and Hunter winning this tournament would help us just as much as if I were to win, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to hand him the win, nor does it mean he’ll hand it to me. We still exist outside of our tag team. We have singles careers and we’d both like to add to what we’ve already accomplished. We care about what we do, whether it’s in the tag team division or on our own. With that said, I intend to be the Elitist advancing to the finals, winning the King of Elite tournament, and bringing that crown to NICHOLISM.
(Ruler has a smirk on his face hearing Alex say this, but it doesn’t last too long before he begins to speak.)
Ruler: I find it interesting that you walked out here just for the sake of sharing your concern over the odds possibly being stacked against you. I’m sure you understand how Alexis and I operate by now. You may not have been with EAW for years, but you’ve been here long enough to understand that we do care about advancing our own careers. We’re not like many of the other Elitists on the roster who’d willingly sit back as long as they’re able to rely on their partnerships to succeed. Part of the reason Alex and I work so well as a team in the first place is because of the fact that we’re already capable on our own. If you’re afraid that this might not be a winnable match for you that’s all you had to say, because ultimately I do plan to win this tournament, and I never hid this. I said it just last week…
(Ruler turns to Alex as he continues.)
Ruler: And since Michael here clearly doesn’t get it yet, I’ll say this just once. NICHOLISM will succeed, and the two of us will still be both friends and partners once this is over, but next week we’re opponents, which means that I won’t be holding anything back.
Alex Myers: Right, which means that if I want to advance to the King of Elite finals, I’ll have to make it past you. We have more than enough history with each other for me to say that this won’t be anywhere near easy, but our friendship won’t get in the way.
Michael S. Connor: I hope I can trust the two of you when you say this, but when I look back at last week’s events I’m not so sure. After all, the first round of the King of Elite was filled with controversy and it wasn’t just because of La Familia or even the Jaded Hearts. Ruler had some help of his own as he went up against Roberto De La Rosa, and I haven’t forgotten about that. Hayley Morrow got involved with that match and handed you the victory against Roberto before she even received an opportunity at his Championship. I know what kind of person Alex is, so maybe they aren’t lying. As for Ruler, I can’t say I’m as certain yet. Are you sure we won’t see Hayley again in that triple threat in the next round?
(Ruler doesn’t say anything, and Alex turns towards Ruler for a moment. The silence doesn’t last forever though, as a smirk appears on Ruler’s face.)
Ruler: I hope you’re not suggesting that I could only defeat you as long as I have help.
Michael S. Connor: I’m not suggesting anything. I asked you a question, because I want to win this match just like you, so the least I could do is make sure I’m prepared. Alex, you saw what happened last week, didn’t you?
Alex Myers: I did, but that’s not what’s on my mind right now. Nearly the entire first round was affected by outside Elitists, there’s nothing we can do about that now. What’s on my mind is winning this triple threat, and defeating both you and Hunter in order to do so.
Michael S. Connor: Then we’re on the same page, and as it stands right now, I’ll have to overcome the odds if I want to do that.
(Suddenly, Ruler walks up towards Michael S. Connor as he begins to speak.)
Ruler: Well I hope you understand what you’ll be getting yourself into next week. Alexis wants to win, as do I. We both want to bring this victory to NICHOLISM as well as our own careers, but trust me. The two of us are not the same.
(There is a serious look on Michael’s face as there’s a staredown between him, Ruler and Alex.)
Michael S. Connor: Yeah. I can see that.
(There’s a moment of silence between the three Elitists, and all that’s really heard is the sound of the fans in attendance. However, things would change before long.)
James Peters: AND LOOK AT THAT, RULER JUST SWUNG AT MICHAEL!!!! RULER JUST WENT AT MICHAEL S. CONNOR, AND NOW THE TWO ARE GOING AT IT!
Rich Russillo: ALEX MYERS QUICKLY GETS INVOLVED AND GETS BETWEEN MICHAEL AND RULER! ALEX DIDN’T EXPECT THINGS TO GET SO HEATED AND IS NOW TRYING TO BREAK THINGS UP BETWEEN MICHAEL AND RULER- BUT MICHAEL CATCHES ALEX WITH AN ELBOW TO THEIR JAW! ALEX STUMBLES BACK A BIT, BEFORE PULLING MICHAEL AWAY FROM RULER AND CONNECTING WITH A RIGHT HAND!
James Peters: ALEX LOOKS FOR ANOTHER STRIKE, CONNECTING WITH AN UPPERCUT! MICHAEL DELIVERS SOME PUNCHES TO THE RIBS, AND NOW THESE TWO ARE GOING BACK AND FORTH!
Rich Russillo: RULER SHOVES ALEX OUT OF THE WAY AS IT LOOKS LIKE HE WANTS A PIECE OF MICHAEL- BUT LOOK AT THAT! RULER SWUNG AT MICHAEL, BUT MICHAEL DUCKED UNDER IT, CAUSING RULER TO ACCIDENTALLY DROP ALEX TO THEIR KNEE WITH A RIGHT HAND!!!! THERE’S A RARE MISCOMMUNICATION BY THESE TWO, SOLELY THANKS TO THINGS GETTING SO HEATED!
James Peters: Alex gets up holding their jaw as Ruler is shocked by the turn of events! Alex shoves Ruler away to give themself some space- BUT BEFORE THEY HAVE TIME TO REACT, MICHAEL S. CONNOR RUNS IN AND SENDS ALEX MYERS OUT OF THE RING WITH A CLOTHESLINE OVER THE TOP ROPE!!!!!!
Rich Russillo: RULER QUICKLY GRABS MICHAEL AND TURNS HIM AROUND, THOUGH! RULER NOW WITH A BACK ELBOW THAT DROPS MICHAEL TO A KNEE, AND NOW RULER BEGINS RUNNING THE ROPES-
James Peters: BUT LOOK AT THIS! RULER SWUNG AT MICHAEL, BUT MICHAEL WAS ABLE TO DUCK UNDER AND HOOK RULER’S ARM, TRANSITIONING INTO THE DOUBLE UNDERHOOK DDT!!!! TAPS CONNECTS, AND MICHAEL S. CONNOR STANDS OVER ALEX MYERS AND RULER!!!
Rich Russillo: Could this be what we see in the next round of the King of Elite tournament!? This man could be Voltage’s representative in the King of Elite finals!
Persephone: How far we’ve fallen.
(Alex Myers is seen seated against the barricade, holding their head in pain before slowly getting back up, allowing them to pull Ruler out of the ring. Michael S. Connor remains in the ring, staring directly towards the members of NICHOLISM. Captain Charisma is also seen in the corner of the ring, surprised by what happened in the last few minutes. As Alex remains at ringside with Ruler, ‘Won’t Back Down’ begins to play again. From there, Voltage begins to fade to a commercial break.)
(Promotional ad for next week’s Voltage, where Alex Myers, Michael S. Connor and Ruler compete in the next round of the King of Elite tournament.)
(Voltage returns from the first commercial break of the night as the camera opens up to the backstage area. Michael S. Connor is seen walking through the backstage area following his brawl with Alex Myers and Ruler, and the fans begin to cheer as he is seen. Michael is silent as he thinks about the upcoming triple threat match, but he’s not alone for very long. Sofia Clarke would walk up to him with a microphone in her hand, causing Michael to stop.)
Sofia Clarke: Michael, if you have a moment I’d like to ask you a few questions.
Michael S. Connor: That works for me.
Sofia Clarke: Thank you. I know tonight has already been an eventful night for you, so I’d actually like to ask you what you think of this King of Elite tournament so far. None of us could’ve expected things to play out the way they have so far.
Michael S. Connor: Yeah. That’s right.
(Michael doesn’t look too happy as he thinks about the tournament so far, thinking about the reason for his upcoming triple threat happening. He was good friends with Korey Gaines, and unfortunately he would be one of the two people injured by La Familia.)
Michael S. Connor: A lot has already happened since this tournament started, and I can’t say I’m pleased by the way things turned out. Yes, I made it to the second round, but this happened after the interference of the Jaded Hearts. I understand that there’s nothing I can do about that now besides making up for last week’s events by making it further in this tournament through my own efforts, but that’s not the only time this tournament was affected by someone else’s actions. I have a lot of respect for Korey Gaines. It’s not often that he goes out of his way to start trouble, and yet La Familia took it upon themselves to injure Korey, both taking him out of this tournament and preventing him from getting back in the ring for the foreseeable future. I don’t see how that’s fair. I get that La Familia wants to build a name for themselves, and they want people to notice how dangerous they are, but why make a target out of someone who did nothing to them? Korey didn’t even get a chance in this tournament. Both he and Mr. Wrestling XIX were taken out. Their injury is the reason this triple threat is happening, and I can’t say I’m a fan of that.
Michael S. Connor: I’ve never been the best of friends with Mr. Wrestling and I won’t pretend otherwise, however even with that in mind, I don’t agree with La Familia disrupting a tournament just for the sake of showing us how much of a threat they are. La Familia will get what they deserve, I’m sure of that much. I just wish it didn’t come at the expense of Korey Gaines’ wrestling career. This business can be unfair to you and I already knew this, but they crossed the line and they will pay for that. I’ll do my best in the King of Elite tournament going forward because ultimately I want to keep giving my all to this place, but I won’t forget what La Familia did, nor will I ignore what they’re doing going forward. I have my eyes on them, and I hope they-
(Suddenly, Sofia screams in terror as Roberto De La Rosa is seen rushing in behind Michael, dropping him with an elbow to the back of the head. He’s not alone, either. Luis De La Rosa is with him, as well as both Valerie Hellstorm and Brianna Hill. There are loud boos coming from the fans as all four Elitists begin to attack Michael.)
(Michael pushes himself back to his feet before swinging at Roberto, but Valerie intercepts with a punch to the jaw, which causes Michael to drop to a knee. While he’s on a knee Brianna begins to strike, throwing punches to his back. Luis De La Rosa would walk over to Michael in an attempt to help, but Michael begins fighting back! He delivers a few punches to Luis’ ribs and forces him to back up, before getting back up and delivering a back elbow to Valerie.)
(Unfortunately for Michael, there are just too many people for him to fend off this time. Right after delivering the elbow, Roberto grabs Michael and sends him into the wall. The back of Michael’s head hits the wall, and as Michael falls onto the ground, the four members of La Familia begin to stomp away at him.)
(This wouldn’t last very long either however, as TLA would rush into the area, dropping Roberto with a clothesline! The crowd explodes with cheers seeing TLA rush into the scene, and TLA gets up and takes Brianna Hill down with an uppercut. After this he begins to fight with Luis De La Rosa. Michael S. Connor is still down and out after his head hit the wall, but after being caught by surprise like this, La Familia isn’t able to take TLA out as quickly as Michael.)
(The numbers game does catch up to TLA, though, as Valerie Hellstorm pulls TLA off of Luis, allowing Luis to land a kick to the midsection. Brianna Hill gets back up, and she grabs onto one of TLA’s arms while Valerie grabs the other one. Luis begins to repeatedly punch TLA as Roberto gets back to his feet, and while TLA is able to land a kick to Luis’ face, he’s unable to capitalize. This is because Roberto picked up a steel chair as he got back up, and as soon as Luis got out of the way, Roberto smashed the chair right over TLA’s head. TLA drops to the ground, and the fans begin booing extremely loudly after seeing what just happened. By this point Sofia Clarke has already gotten away from the area, and La Familia stands over Michael and TLA before turning and looking directly towards the camera.)
Roberto De La Rosa: ¿Tenemos ahora su atención? Look. Look at this pathetic joke. This is La Familia and this is exactly what we are capable of.
(Roberto De La Rosa holds up the Hardcore Championship over his shoulder before laughing as he wipes his boot on TLA’s head which is now gushing out blood into a puddle on the floor.)
Roberto De La Rosa: This pendejo was supposed to be the EAW Hardcore Champion? All of the fans cheering this? What a joke. Is this really the best that Señor Hardcore could do in his little backstage attack? Es una broma.
Luis De La Rosa: You are right mano this payaso is not even worth our time. Why is he in some Showcase of Champions match tonight? If anything as one half of the Hardcore Champions I should be featured in that match.
Roberto De La Rosa: You know as the weeks go by I start to realize that not only am I Mexico’s Savior but I am saving this championship from being turned into an irrelevant waste of time just like the hombre who was holding it before. I mean did he even do anything relevant as champion? He had some big lucha con Mr. Wrestling XIX but you all saw what we did to that gringo last week. We took him out. Now we took TLA out. We are taking them all out one by one and it is obvious to anyone watching that we are the dominant force here on Voltage.
Brianna Hill: That is right. You people should be looking up to us. Looking up to your real heroes. Why do you even bother cheering someone like TLA? He might have done some great things in the past but that was a long long time ago. Now he is just some wannabe who thinks he can still go when his prime past him by in like 2019. My opponent tonight is not much different to be honest.
Valerie Hellstorm: As for Michael Connor he hasn’t even had a prime but who cares. He’s a target. Nobody is safe from la Familia. It took us some time, but we have established ourselves as the unstoppable force here in EAW and we will take everyone down one by one. Just like we did to Mr. Wrestling XIX. Just like we did to this obnoxious jarhead and idiot cholo here tonight. I will say it again. Nobody is safe.
Roberto De La Rosa: Esto es embarazoso. I am honestly embarrassed for TLA and for EAW that he was ever considered the standard for Mexican talent here in EAW. I mean is this really the best we can do? It’s clear that the past ten years he has spent on this roster amongst the gringos has taken his edge. He’s basically the same as them now. Can he even continue to call himself a luchador?
(Roberto De La Rosa crouches down picking up the bloody face of TLA and yanks him up by the hair looking at him with a smile. TLA is barely conscious and unable to even register what Roberto is saying to him.)
Roberto De La Rosa: Aquí no eres bienvenido. Ya no perteneces aquí. Soy tu sustituto y soy una mejora en todos los sentidos.
(Luis De La Rosa comes running in with the steel chair and drives it down into the back of TLA’s neck leaving him face down in the puddle of blood on the floor.)
Valerie Hellstorm: Now that that’s taken care of I have a match coming up that I have to get to. I’m facing AJ Redding and honestly I don’t expect him to be much more of a challenge to us than TLA or Michael here was. I mean he couldn’t even beat Piff Fumador last week. As far as I know he has never even won a match on Voltage. Well I am a bad choice if you think that I am going to be the one for you to get your first victory over AJ. You are stepping into the ring with the Girl Boss and after competing in the ring with the likes of Fire & Ice you really are just a refresher match for the likes of me. Like I said earlier this week I am going to say it again to make sure everyone hears it. Fuck the doubters. Fuck the detesters. Fuck everybody who thinks you can’t do something because you can do anything you damn well please nobody dictates shit but yourself remember that.
Luis De La Rosa: No doubt. No doubt. When it comes to La Familia you know that we can do anything we want! We run this show! I should be King of Elite but after Alex Myers cheated me out of that last week I am going to have to settle for making Piff Fumador feel that pain! ¡Mucho dolor! Me and Valerie are going to be proving a point here tonight. Piff Fumador beat AJ Redding last week. Now Valerie is going to beat AJ Redding this week and I am going to beat Piff Fumador this week as well. Basically we are going to show you all that unless La Familia is involved… basically any match here on Voltage is completely pointless. It is just a filler match because as soon as whoever wins gets in the ring with one of us… it is all over for them.
Roberto De La Rosa: You all need to acknowledge the fuerza y energía that we now possess. We have taken over and we are going to make sure that everyone here on Voltage knows what we are capable of. We take out Hall of Famers with the snap of our fingers. We take championships with the snap of our fingers. Speaking of taking out Hall of Famers tho… Habla con la gente chica…
Brianna Hill: You know I might be the newest member of La Familia but don’t think for a single second that makes me in any way the rookie of the team. There are no weak links in La Familia. Tonight is my first official match as a member of La Familia and I intend to make an impact. It is sad that people like TLA who are so easy to take out are hailed as legends around here. I doubt that Cameron Ella Ava is any different. She’s been spouting off about how she deserves another World Championship opportunity but I should be next in line after I run through her and expose her in front of the entire world. I am The Hero not her. Cameron is nobody’s hero. Maybe she was like twenty years ago or something. She had some success here back when we basically had no women’s division whatever that’s not impressive and she doesn’t impress me either. Nobody is impressive when it comes to La Familia. Just like Cameron failed to win the World Title last year, she better get used to that trend. Because it is going to continue at my hands. If she is lucky we will let her continue to be an active member of the roster because looking at Mr. Wrestling XIX, Michael and TLA here… it’s only too easy for us to take you out of the game.
Roberto De La Rosa: Exactamente. You know that I just love how well La Familia works together. We are all on the same page! We are all going to show in our matches tonight exactly what we can do. We are going to send a much needed message to the entire EAW roster. I know that everyone here is making all of those resolutions for el año nuevo. Pero just like with TLA here most of those don’t even last a week anyway. I mean TLA came out last week and he did this whole pandering routine to the crowd bailando y sonriendo about how 2024 was going to be his year! He is going to win all kinds of titles, he’s going to get payback against us when we least expect it! But it took us like two seconds to fight off his surprise attack. You are basura TLA and a disgrace to EAW and a disgrace to Mexico. You shouldn’t bother showing your face around here anymore. Because EAW has a new face of Hardcore.
(Roberto De La Rosa smiles even wider as he raises up the EAW Hardcore Championship.)
Roberto De La Rosa: Esta noche… my reign begins! We are starting off with Hayley Morrow. You know I bet you think you accomplished something last week Hayley. When you jumped me with your tiny tiny stick and cost me my match with Ruler. Well La Familia always pays their debts and tonight you are going to find out what happens when you cross me. James Peters: AJ Redding had a solid start, no denying that. But what’s not going as smoothly as his beginning is the opportunity to face off against Valerie Hellstorm right now. She just seized the moment to bring AJ Redding down hard, even though it was a critical moment for his downfall. Redding is trying to make a comeback, but Hellstorm interrupts with a right boot across his head, sending him rolling right back to the ground. Minerva begins walking out to the stage, wearing her Championship around her waist. Minerva is also holding a microphone in her hand, and she has a serious look on her face as she walks down the ramp, obviously not pleased following her appearance on Showdown, where she was attacked by Usagi Senshi and the British Invasion.)
James Peters: The Universal Women’s Champion is here with a mic in hand, and in case anyone missed it, we last saw Minerva last night on Showdown. Things took a turn during Minerva’s time there however, as Usagi Senshi, Halsey Neel and Pandora Paisley attacked her.
Rich Russillo: Minerva obviously doesn’t look too happy about that, and honestly I’m not so sure if that attack was the best idea. We know what kind or Elitist Minerva is. There aren’t many Elitists out there more dangerous than her.
Persephone: there aren’t many more boring ones, either. I wish Luis was out here right now. He’s way more interesting than having to watch Minerva run her mouth.
(Minerva walks up the steel steps, entering the ring as ‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ fades out. The fans begin to quiet down for Minerva, and after a little while she begins to speak.)
Minerva: I honestly should’ve expected things to play out the way they did on Showdown. I know what kind of person Usagi Senshi is these days. I know who she’s aligned herself with, and you could look back to as recently as Road to Redemption to see that she’s not above relying on other people to get the job done. Even with that in mind I went over to Showdown, because I thought Usagi would know better than to try this with me. I thought she’d be smart enough to avoid starting something she won’t be able to finish, but it turns out I was wrong. I was attacked by Usagi as well as the British Invasion, who I really hope are proud of themselves right now, because that’s the last time they’ll be doing something like that to me. I don’t take kindly to having people attack me out of nowhere, especially if it’s just for the sake of helping someone that wouldn’t get anywhere without you. I can accept that Usagi is arrogant enough to make this mistake, but the two of you should’ve known better than to attack someone like me. You made a mistake, and you’ll pay for it soon enough.
(The fans cheer hearing the last statement from Minerva, and Minerva continues to speak as she looks towards the stage.)
Minerva: I’m aware of the fact that you guys have been a problem for the Showdown roster. I’m not the first person that you guys attacked like this and I probably won’t even be the last, but last night *was* the last time you’ll be doing it to me. British Invasion, Devolution, I hope every single one of you is listening closely, because I need you guys to understand that I’m not the kind of Elitist you can get away with these attacks with. Your tactics won’t work against someone who has never had a problem with getting their hands dirty, so you guys really need to ask yourself if this was worth it. You made an enemy out of the Universal Women’s Champion just so you could help someone that still doesn’t have what it takes to defeat me. Do you really think that was a good idea? Do you think this is going to get you anywhere? I can say for a fact that it won’t, because I’d be more than willing to play into this if that’s what you guys want to do. If you think you can be a thorn in my side then I’ll just take out every single distraction one by one, so that once it’s time to face Usagi Senshi, she has nobody there to save her.
Minerva: Honestly, Usagi should be better than this. She’s faced me once before, so she should have an idea of what I’m capable of. She lost to me last time she faced me, and she’s since had nearly an entire year to learn from that loss and grow into a better competitor. She had a chance to approach me as an improved Usagi Senshi, and instead she’s chosen to be a coward. She seems to think that she can hide behind the likes of Halsey Neel and Pandora Paisley and get a World Championship match out of it, but if she hasn’t realized it yet, there is a reason I’m the Universal Women’s Champion right now. I didn’t win this title by being a coward. I won it by facing Kassidy Heart and winning cleanly, so you’ll need to do better than this if you want to be the woman to end this Championship reign, because right now you’re no closer to this title than you were when I faced you a year ago and won. You already weren’t doing yourself any favors when you decided to show up to Voltage last week, but this kind of fight is not what you want. You may have been able to get away with it in the past, but you won’t get away with it right now. This is the one and only time I’ll warn you, Usagi. Be careful what you wish for. You started all this, so don’t be surprised when this blows up in your face.

Minerva: I was willing to give you this match regardless of how you did things Usagi, because that’s the kind of person I am. You had your Universal Women’s Championship match, that wasn’t a problem. I’ve defended World Championships against the likes of Ronan Malosi, there was nothing stopping me from putting my title on the line against you now. This could’ve been nothing more than a match for my Universal Women’s Championship, but you chose to dig your own grave, and now you’ll have to pay for that. I’m sure you’re here, and even if you’re not, I know that you’re watching this right now, so once we enter that ring with each other I hope you know what you’ll be getting yourself into. I hope you know that this won’t be like anything you’ve been doing on Showdown over the last few months, and most importantly I hope you realize that no matter how many Devolution members you get to help you, you’re not taking this title from me. Rich Russillo: PANDORA QUICKLY TRIES TO CAPITALIZE- BUT MINERVA DUCKS UNDER HER ATTACK, AND NOW MINERVA IS ABLE TO SEND HER OVER THE TOP ROPE AS WELL, CONNECTING WITH A SECOND CLOTHESLINE!!!! HALSEY IS GETTING BACK ON THE APRON THOUGH- BUT AS SOON AS SHE TRIES TO GET BACK IN THE RING, MINERVA IS ABLE TO SHUT HER DOWN WITH THE DEVIL’S TOUCH!!!!! (The fans cheer loudly seeing Minerva get the upper hand against the British Invasion, meanwhile Pandora catches Halsey before slowly beginning to backpedal up the ramp with her, not happy with how things just played out. Minerva picks up the microphone that she dropped during the fight against Halsey and Pandora, and while the two are still on the ramp, Minerva begins to speak.)
Minerva: I really hope you two didn’t think you’d be able to get away with that attack for a second time. I warned you two. I told you two that this wasn’t going to happen again, and I wasn’t joking when I said that. I wasn’t lying when I said that I wasn’t going to let this be a repeat of what you guys have already done on Showdown. I think I made myself perfectly clear when I said that I’d have no problem with taking you all out one by one, so since you two seem to have no problem with picking a fight with me, I’ll give you guys what you clearly want. Pandora, I’ll start with you. Next week you’re going to face me one on one, and maybe after I’ve disposed of you, Usagi will understand exactly why she’s never going to defeat me.
(The fans are cheering extremely happy, meanwhile Pandora is frustrated that the attack on Minerva didn’t go to plan. ‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ begins to play once more as Pandora stares directly at the Universal Women’s Champion.)
James Peters: Well it looks like next week we may be seeing a match between the Universal Women’s Champion Minerva, and the British Invasion’s Pandora Paisley! This could be a good match, but both the British Invasion and Usagi need to be careful. I think Minerva just made a huge statement!
Rich Russillo: They tried to take her out like they did on Showdown but this time it didn’t work. Minerva knows what to expect from them now, so they’re not going to be able to do things the same way they have before. This will definitely be an uphill battle for them. After all, Minerva didn’t win that Championship for no reason. She’s one of the best in EAW, and that’s not something to take lightly.
Persephone: One of the best? In what world? There’s only one person around here that matters, and it’s not Minerva, Usagi or any of those Devolution idiots. It’s Luis. 😍😍😍😍
(Minerva raises the Universal Women’s Championship as she stares at Pandora and Halsey, receiving more cheers from the crowd. From there, Voltage begins to fade away from the area.)
(Voltage returns and fades backstage with Sofia Clarke standing backstage behind the Voltage gold backdrop and monitor behind her. She has a warm smile on her face as she waits for her cue to begin the interview.)
Sofia Clarke: It’s been a wonderful edition of Sunday Night Voltage, but we’re not done here. My guest right now is a woman who had a hell of a time in 2023 and looks to be more than keen to make sure that 2024 is more than gracious to her. She was someone who had a thing or two to say during my interview with Rex McAllister last week, so I decided to give her the platform this week. Ladies and gentlemen…Dr. Bethany Blue!
(The crowd in the arena is heard booing as Dr. Bethany Blue steps into the camera frame with a calm demeanor on her face, more than ready to get this interview underway.)
Sofia Clarke: Bethany, thank you for doing this interview with me.
Dr. Bethany Blue: It’s more than a pleasure to give you the opportunity to redeem yourself from your mistake last week when you interviewed Rex McAllister on his 2023 rather than going up to me and asking me about mine. It’s the New Year, let bygones be bygones.
Sofia Clarke: :francis:
Dr. Bethany Blue: 😌
Sofia Clarke: Bethany, last night we saw you appear on the Showdown and the EAW Universe just wants to know about all of that?
Dr. Bethany Blue: I had no other intentions than to be on Showdown to visit my handsome husband and EAW Champion, Adam Lucas like any loving and caring wife. Instead, I find myself in some measly confrontation with Solomon Stane and that barking little chihuahua of his wife, Trixie. I was nothing more than a visitor on the Showdown brand. Instead of feeling welcomed to the brand, having the carpet rolled out for one of EAW’s brightest stars, I had found myself a victim to Solomon and whatever he had going on. Some religious awakening? Now, I’m never the one to discriminate against people or mock religion. We have Elitists from all walks of life coming into this company with all different types of religion. Even some with no religion at all. I’m Jewish myself. Celebrated Hanukkah, read the Torah and you can see it in my beautiful nose that I got from my father. While there are certain aspects in the Bible that I don’t agree with, we all have the right to participate in any religion that we want too. The issue is when certain Elitists like Solomon Stane go from being religious to an absolute nut. And all because his wife was a literal bitch to me!
Dr. Bethany Blue: But, perhaps, all of that is based on issues that originated earlier in life. Maybe, some undiagnosed trauma from his childhood. Maybe, some head injuries that occurred in school? I still need to check his file to see if there’s any form of CTE that he might have gotten if he played some sport in high school. Maybe, an injury from his time as a bouncer and getting into bar fights with some drunks and d-bags? It’s something that I plan to read up on a bit later. But, that’s Showdown, Sofia. Solomon defended his stupid wife, which is actually more than I can say for Adam, but whatever. It’s done and I’m moving on from the topic.
Sofia Clarke: Last week, we saw you confront Rex McAllister in the middle of our interview —
Dr. Bethany Blue: — Once again, you’re welcome for helping stir you in the right direction, Sofia. No need to thank me. I feel like you need some juicy gossip for the EAW site and I was nothing more than gracious to present you with an opportunity to interview someone who had a GREAT 2023. Now, I think that would have been a fantastic read rather than getting the scoop on Rex McAllister and his boring 2023. I mean, there would have been a TON of things to ask about me. After all, I’m the rightful, uncrowned 2023 Female Elitist of the Year. A role model who solidified herself as one of the biggest assets in this entire company. Despite all the setbacks and Captain Charisma’s petty attempts of holding me down, I was able to shine through and not let the Universal Women’s Championship loss at Pain for Pride hold me down. I was able to conclude my 2023 on top with a victory over Harper Lee, but I plan to make 2024 an even bigger year for Dr. Bethany Blue.
Dr. Bethany Blue: The reason why Rex responded the way is quite simple — he doesn’t want to stand in the room, knowing that I had a better year than him. He can’t stand the idea that Dr. Bethany Blue was more of a success story in 2023 than him. He began the year with Captain Charisma handing a nice and cushy spot on the commentators’ table. But, he let his ego get the best of him. It must be the idea of seeing Elitist after Elitist racking up championships and proving that their time was upon them. Meanwhile, Rex was all grumpy at the desk, hoping that it was him that was going to reclaim all of his glory. He couldn’t even hold it in for long enough when he took the opportunity of Daryl Kinkade throwing down the gauntlet for Pain for Pride as an opportunity to step away from the desk. I don’t blame him though. I’m not a woman that likes to be shown up. I’m a woman who knows when to step in and do the job that’s needed for her. There’ve been instances where I wanted to go wrestle, but I knew that my doctorly duties needed me back in Florida. There were instances where I wanted to head back to the office, but I knew that EAW needed their biggest star to help sell another Marquee Live Event. I am a woman with many trades, Sofia.
Dr. Bethany Blue: It’s unfortunate that the likes of Captain Charisma won’t be able to admit that. No, that man has so much pride to admit that Voltage NEEDS its doctor to sell tickets. Instead, he relies on the likes of Rex McAllister, someone that he just adores, to help him out of situations that he was foolish enough to get himself in the very first place. I bet that he sees a potential Dr. Bethany Blue versus Rex McAllister match as an opportunity to shut me up, possibly get rid me, but I’m not going to let that happen, Sofia. There is no getting rid of me when EAW has so many injuries that I could only tend to. If the match with Rex ever comes into fruition, I have no issues with dismantling dear ole Rex and then reassembling him again. After all, I’m Doctor Bethany Blue…THE M—
(Cutting off Dr. Bethany Blue doing her catchphrase, Showdown’s Solomon Stane clubs Bethany in the back of her head out of nowhere with a metal hand held crucifix cross. Bethany collapses to the ground as Solomon gets on top of the former Universal Women’s Champion, battering her with a series of fists. Bethany is trying to cover her money-making face, but Solomon is too quick for her. He picks her up and throws her against the production crate as that rolls away, but Solomon manages to get it back into position as he grabs Dr. Bethany Blue and connects with a giant chokeslam, slamming her spine first on top of the production crate. Bethany collapses to the ground, clutching her spine in pain as Solomon crotches down to her level, holding onto the handheld crucifix cross.)
(Still, the perseverance of Dr. Bethany Blue is keeping her alive as she tries to gather the energy to get herself up and fight back against ‘The Deliverer.’ She finds herself in a plank position as she looks up at Solomon Stane with an intense look in her eyes, but Solomon gets that crucifix cross and slams it on the top of Bethany’s skull, knocking her down and out completely. The high heels clank as Trixie Stane is revealed to the camera as she crotches down on the other side of Bethany and picks her up by her hair, forcing her to look up at Solomon.)
Solomon Stane: It seems like we’re even now.
(Trixie Stane has Dr. Bethany Blue by her sandy blonde locks, picking them up with a balled up fist, adding more pressure to the grasp.)
Solomon Stane: If you know what’s good for you, you will stay on Voltage and far away from Showdown.
(With that warning, Trixie Stane drops Dr. Bethany Blue as a series of medical personnel come racing to the Doctor’s aid. Some of the referees are yelling for Solomon Stane to get away from the scene. Solomon does not say anything, focused on his handiwork. Trixie places a hand on his chest as he begins to walk away from the scene. The two of them with grins on their faces, feeling proud of how everything went for them.)

He has an energetic stance, nodding to himself and to the crowd before walking down the ramp.)

James Peters: Piff Fumador looks to build up some momentum after his well earned victory against AJ Redding last week, no doubt that he has quite the electric energy that the crowd can surely become enamored with through time!
Rich Russillo: Oh that’s not exactly denied, but we expect that a former New Breed Champion would be able to come right back to action without as much problem. Now he has another foe that he will have to stand across from next, one that has quite the illustrious backing to boot!

(TLA stands behind Luis, with dried up blood covering his face and his head wrapped up, with immense fire scouring his eyes as this intensified glare can strike a hole through Luis’ heart.)

Rich Russillo: TLA JUST SMACKED PIFF RIGHT OVER THE SKULL WITH THE STEEL CHAIR!! HE DOESN’T WANT ANYONE STOPPING HIM FROM GETTING HIS HANDS ON LUIS & LA FAMILIA!!! Now Michael is dragging Luis back up to his feet, and TLA has the chair in his hands, glaring directly toward Luis!!!

(La Familia remains in the ring, as medical officials soon rush into the ring to give both Luis and Piff the necessary medical attention. Valerie and Brianna are standing, pacing around the ring as they’re glaring upward to TLA and Michael, who’re standing within the crowd. Roberto crouches down with a hand on Luis’ shoulder as the officials tend to his aid, glaring up at TLA with the scene fading out.)
( Sunday Night Voltage transitions into the backstage area as we are in Captain Charisma’s Office. At the moment, he is unaware of what just transpired down at ringside because Captain Charisma is pacing around his room as he’s talking to someone on the phone. CC would be seen wearing a dapper suit as he’s talking to the other person regarding the announcement he made earlier in the night regarding the King of the Elite tournament, with the attack on both Mr. Wrestling and Korey Gaines thanks to the devious La Familia. )
Captain Charisma: Yeah real unfortunate what happened to both Korey and Mr. Wrestling XIX last week, nobody ever wants that but what can you do right? I think the solution I brought up earlier is being received well. Anyways that main event later in the night is for sure going to be a slobber knocker, I mean you got champion versus champion! Bea versus Charlie, two… unique individuals going at it. Should be fantastic-
( Suddenly we would hear someone knock on the door that has caught Captain Charisma off guard. He then talks to the person on the other end of the phone by saying… )
Captain Charisma: I’ll call you back later.
( Captain Charisma puts his phone down in his pocket as he shouts… )
Captain Charisma: You can come in!
( The person that enters Captain Charisma’s office is none other than Jack Ripley! He hasn’t been seen since Road to Redemption, competing for the EAW World Championship inside the Extreme Elimination Chamber. He is seen wearing casual street attire as Captain Charisma extends his hand as Jack shakes it right back to him. They have a very firm handshake between them, very stern and professional looking. Captain Charisma asks him… )
Captain Charisma: Welcome Back Jack! How have you been?
Jack Ripley: Could be better, can we have a talk?
Captain Charisma: Yeah sure! Take a seat right there.
( Captain Charisma would go back to his office desk and sit on his chair while Jack sits on the chair opposite to him. They both sit down as they get comfortable and for a few moments, a comfortable silence ensues. Captain Charisma would ask Jack the question… )
Captain Charisma: So… what do you wanna talk about?
Jack Ripley: Well… there’s a lot I want to talk about with you but firstly I want to say thank you to you, CC. I appreciated the time off you gave me after Road to Redemption. I really needed it. After Road to Redemption I felt like I needed to rest, keep my mind right and just spend some time with the people I love… that being my family. I took a vacation with them, a nice little outing with them to the Bahamas. Was a really nice place, I’ll show you some pictures later but anyways I took that time to relax. I took that time to rest but also took that time to think. I was able to do a lot of thinking while I was in the Bahamas. Thinking about my career, about how my 2023 went and how my season started. It didn’t really help that back in April, I had to say goodbye to my dog. It really was a tough time during that period in a non wrestling capacity. Just thinking about stuff like that, when you don’t have to worry about who’s coming after you in this business, or whatever, you get to have to just reflect, you know?
Captain Charisma: Yes absolutely Jack, I can relate to you on that front.
Jack Ripley: In a wrestling setting, I didn’t really have the best start to this season. I lost to Jamie back at Bloodsport and I couldn’t be the team captain for Voltage for War Games. I was losing Mr. Wrestling at Wicked Games and to top it all off, I couldn’t win the EAW World Championship at Road to Redemption. 2023 just hasn’t been the greatest year for me professionally and personally. I am grateful though. It could be so much worse but it just hasn’t been great you know. I mean I did get my win back against Mr. Wrestling in that chamber match and eliminated him but I want things for myself to be better. I am not blaming you at all, just letting you know that right now.
Captain Charisma: Yeah Yeah, no worries, understandable.
Jack Ripley: If there’s anyone to really blame it should honestly be myself. I haven’t been performing to the level of standard that I want to perform. The expectations I set for myself when this season started hasn’t been met. I mean look at Charlie, he came back after Pain for Pride and half way through the season he is once again World Champion. I want to reach that level again of being world champion like I was years ago being Answers World Champion. That level of standard is what I wanted to achieve coming out of Pain for Pride and going to a new home in Voltage. I have wanted to meet the standard that I have set since the start of the season and I feel like my performances haven’t been up to par to those expectations. I want things to turn around, I have tried my hardest to meet the standard that I wanted to set but nothing has really worked.
Captain Charisma: I understand where you’re coming from Jack, not an easy thing to deal with.
Jack Ripley: It really isn’t CC. I really did my hardest to change that trajectory of where my season was gonna end up but nothing has worked. I mean I lost to an unretired old man who thought the current state of this business was garbage. I lost to that man at Wicked Games and that was a tough loss for sure. The stuff that’s been going on at Voltage lately as well hasn’t really helped things at all. I mean you got La Famila, stronger than they ever have been since Roberto De La Rosa became Hardcore Champion. It doesn’t really make me happy that those guys were the ones that sent Mr. Wrestling packing his bag for good due to La Famila running rampant on this show. I really wanted to be the one to take out the old fuck and really beat him one on one and get his ass out of Voltage. He was a punk that I felt got away, beating me, and now I won’t ever have the chance to finish him off myself but regardless… all that is behind me now.
Jack Ripley: Whatever shit went down last year, whatever stuff that has happened since the start of the season up until Road to Redemption, I want to put that all behind me. I want to push hard for the rest of the season, give you the best Jack Ripley that you have seen in a while. Whatever issues I had, whatever was holding me back, I promise I’m going to push hard to remove that stigma and be back on winning form. There’s still six months left, six months left until this season ends and I’m going to give it everything I have; put it all on the table and leave it in the ring. People like a Mr. Wrestling won’t be getting wins over me, It’s my turn to light it up and make these last six months of this season count.
Captain Charisma: I can definitely feel that you want things to turn around for you Jack. No matter what happened last season, you’ll always be respected in my book, I mean after all you are a newly inducted Hall of Famer, and a highly respected member of the Voltage Locker Room. I know things can be tough, things haven’t been going your way, but I know you have the mental mindset to change it. You just need that spark.
Jack Ripley: After the vacation I had with my family, after thinking things through I know I can bring that spark to life CC. I’m going to make these next six months count, do whatever I can to get back to a prominent spot, rectify what happened at Pain for Pride after being so close to winning a championship. I’m going to make sure 2024 will be a much better year, and assess how these next six months go. I’m going to make a decision on my future and what’s next for me, after Pain for Pride.
Captain Charisma: Understandable Jack, I appreciate this conversation and I’m wishing you the best for the rest of the season. Whatever you decide to do after Pain for Pride, you have my full support.
Jack Ripley: Thanks, I appreciate it.
( Jack Ripley and Captain Charisma both stand up as they extend another firm and stern handshake with each other. Jack Ripley nods, giving his appreciation for Captain Charisma for giving his time to speak to him about what’s next for him. Jack would then walk out of his office, and close the door. Captain Charisma would whip out his phone as he calls back the person he was speaking to earlier. )
Captain Charisma: Hey I’m back… where were we… do what?
(Captain Charisma frowns, clearly bothered by something that was just told to him. After a moment, he lets out a sigh.)
Captain Charisma: La Familia is becoming a problem. That’s for sure.
( The segment then fades out as Sunday Night Voltage transitions to the ring as we are set for our next contest. )

(Cameron Ella Ava makes her way out to the ring looking confident as she enters the ring ready for action. Cameron doesn’t look bothered by her confrontation last week or by her loss at Road to Redemption, instead just focused on the match ahead of her as she walks to the ring.)
Rich Russillo: Cameron Ella Ava has made her intentions known for EAW this year she is looking to take over Voltage. Will we see the Goddess re-establish herself as the top of EAW yet again in this year?
James Peters: She has a tough challenge here tonight and it is clear she is not backing down. I am excited to see what she is able to pull off in 2024 with this level of renewed intensity and dedication.

(Brianna Hill makes her way down to the ring mocking the fans who are booing her clearly not a fan of her new association with La Familia. After everything La Familia has done in recent weeks including tonight it is clear they are not the most popular people in the room.)
Rich Russillo: Brianna Hill definitely made a statement when she joined La Familia at Road to Redemption and in many ways it feels like her arrival in the faction has been the spark needed for them to launch this crusade and takeover of Voltage.
James Peters: I really don’t like the idea of a roving gang backstage assaulting people and taking them out of action. I think that our bosses here on Voltage really need to crack down and do something. The safety of our wrestlers are at risk!
Rich Russillo: You might be right but this is a sanctioned match so Cameron Ella Ava’s safety cannot be guaranteed! Let’s get this underway!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Rich Russillo: We are underway now as Brianna Hill and Cameron Ella Ava are about to throw down. The newest member of La Familia is looking to take Cameron down and this should be a real banger. Brianna looks like she is taking this match very seriously and we can always say the same for Cameron so this match should really be something. They meet up in the middle of the ring locking up and fighting for position. It looks like Brianna was able to overpower Cameron shoving her back first up into the ropes. The referee calls for the break with Brianna releasing her opponent but also palm striking Cameron in the face for good measure-
James Peters: But Cameron Ella Ava will not take that disrespect! She shoves Brianna Hill backwards into the ring. She didn’t come to play tonight. Brianna didn’t like that one bit as she charges in with a running Clothesline. But Cameron ducks beneath! Cameron runs off the ropes and spins around catching Brianna by the arm as she charges in! Swift arm drag takes Brianna down and tosses her! Brianna rolls through but Cameron leaps up to the middle rope as Brianna runs in. Cameron with a Springboard Cutter catching Brianna by the neck and dropping her face first to the mat! Quick cover…
Rich Russillo: But Brianna Hill quickly rolls out of the ring. Brianna smartly evading the cover here as Cameron Ella Ava managed to land a pretty impactful move on here there. Brianna catching her breath on the outside as Cameron is not about to just let her escape. Cameron not interested in taking a break as she rolls out of the ring right in front of our table and grabs Brianna by the head. Brianna’s head bashed repeatedly against our commentary table and she is in a bad way right now! Brianna taking all kinds of punishment as the referee continues the outside count.
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!
James Peters: Brianna Hill left sprawling out on the ground out here in front of our commentary table and the crowd is definitely into it as the legend Cameron Ella Ava picks her up and throws Brianna back into the ring. Cameron rolls back in with plenty of time to spare on the coin-
Rich Russillo: But Brianna Hill just quickly rolls across the ring and goes out the other side. The crowd can be heard audibly groaning as they are clearly not a fan of these evasion tactics.
Persephone: I say count her out and get this match over with. Honestly I don’t like having her in La Familia too close to my beloved Luis for my liking.
Rich Russillo: Brianna Hill recovering on the outside but here comes Cameron Ella Ava running the ropes! TOPE CON HILO!!!!-
James Peters: No! Brianna Hill at the last moment leaps up onto the apron and hits a big kick to the head of Cameron Ella Ava as she tries to dart between the ropes! Cameron caught in the head with that kick and collapses onto the ropes falling down across the middle rope. Now Brianna grabbing Cameron and pulling in her head across the apron. Brianna pulls Cameron down dropping her down hard with a DDT onto the apron driving Cameron’s head right into the hardest part of the ring! Brianna then shoves Cameron hard through the ropes back into the ring. Brianna into the ring now as she goes for the cover!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Rich Russillo: The kickout by Cameron Ella Ava! Brianna Hill yanks Cameron back up by the neck. Brianna pulls Cameron up lifting her neck by both hands. Double Handed Chokeslam incoming!-
James Peters: No! Cameron Ella Ava grabs the arm of Brianna Hill as she falls and tosses her over with an Arm Drag! Cameron possibly turning things around here. Brianna rolls back up as Cameron meets her in the middle of the ring. Both stagger backwards to the corners but Brianna charges out of the corner coming at Cameron with a Running Clothesline! But Cameron ducks under it! Brianna flails wildly crashing front first into the corner. Cameron whirls around now looking to charge in at Brianna. Cameron charges in with a Running Hip Attack ramming hard into Brianna in the corner! Brianna getting smashed in the corner as Cameron rolls out into the center of the ring. Cameron then turns around and charges in towards Brianna. Running Clothesline! Brianna bounces out of the corner and collapses neck first on the middle ropes. Cameron now building up momentum as she runs the ropes… Running Crossbody across the ring crushing down on the back of Brianna! Cameron gets all of it and slides into the cover!!

Rich Russillo: Brianna Hill kicks out! Brianna’s debut as a member of La Familia nearly ending in utter defeat here! As she kicks out Brianna crawls into the corner but Cameron Ella Ava is already back up and waiting for her. As Brianna pulls herself up in the corner here comes Cameron! Cameron charges in with a Running Double Knee Strike into the back of Brianna! Brianna collapses to the ground falling flat on her face as Cameron leaps up on top of her back! Cameron with repeated stomps to the back of Brianna grinding her down hard into the mat! Cameron stomping away at Brianna before grabbing her leg and yanking her back into the middle of the ring. Brianna pulled up to her feet as she staggers back… but here comes Cameron!
James Peters: WONDER WOMAN PUNCH!!! CAMERON GETS ALL OF IT AND BRIANNA’S FIRST NIGHT IN LA FAMILIA COMES TO A DEVASTATING END!!!

Rich Russillo: No! The kickout by Brianna Hill!!! The Hero is determined here tonight to prove why she should have your full admiration and respect. Even Cameron Ella Ava looks impressed that Brianna kicked out of the Wonder Woman Punch! The veteran Cameron staying on Brianna however she isn’t surprised by anyone kicking out of anything. Both competitors back up as Brianna pulls herself up on the ropes. Cameron comes running in with a Dropkick to the face-
James Peters: But Brianna Hill moves out of the way! Cameron Ella Ava goes legs first through the ropes landing outside on the apron as she slides between the top and middle ropes. Brianna grabs Cameron over the top rope Suplexing her up and over into the ring! Cameron crashes down in the ring as Brianna grabs her arm twisting it around into a Cross Armbreaker in the middle of the ring! Smart maneuvering there by Brianna to trap Cameron in the ring looking to snap off the arm of her opponent! Cameron manages to break free and back up to her feet but Brianna from behind rolls her up. School Girl rollup!

Rich Russillo: Cameron Ella Ava kicks out and Brianna Hill is unable to steal one here tonight! Brianna immediately climbs up on top of Cameron and hooks the arm. A Crossface is applied! Brianna viciously trying to take Cameron out! But Cameron rolls through! Cameron rolls through and back up to her feet. Brianna back up too but Cameron grabs the legs of Brianna and tips her over! Cameron going for a Figure 4 Leglock! But Brianna kicks Cameron off her and rolls out of the ring to escape potential submission. Brianna knows how close she was to being held in that deadly hold. Cameron now playing to the crowd as Brianna paces on the outside of the ring planning her next move in this match.
James Peters: Brianna Hill now up on the apron as Cameron Ella Ava grabs her and looks to toss her back into the ring. But Brianna with a Roundhouse Kick to the skull as Cameron approaches the ropes! Cameron falls backwards holding her nose in pain as she was clearly baited there into the trap of Brianna. Brianna now climbing up to the top rope as Cameron suddenly recovers and rushes up to the top to meet her there! Cameron throwing shots causing Brianna to fall down into a seated position on the top rope! Cameron grabs Brianna by the tights and hurls her hard into the middle of the ring! Brianna crashes down from the top rope landing back first in the middle of the ring!
Persephone: She’s going for the pin! Count it!

Rich Russillo: Kickout by Brianna Hill. Brianna scrambles into the corner pulling herself up as Cameron Ella Ava charges in with a Running Back Elbow! But Brianna moves out of the way! Brianna charges Cameron in the corner but Cameron leaps up onto the top rope! Cameron wraps her legs around Brianna and tosses her across the ring with a Hurricanrana!-
James Peters: No! Brianna Hill counters it holding onto the legs of Cameron Ella Ava! Brianna whips Cameron around throwing her back first into the corner! Brianna ramming Cameron repeatedly in the shoulders whirling her around and slamming her opponent hard into the corner repeatedly. Brianna then swings Cameron around and drops her with a hard Sit Down Powerbomb in the middle of the ring! Brianna slides into the cover!

Rich Russillo: Cameron Ella Ava kicks out! Cameron quickly rolls out onto the apron and pulls herself up using the ropes. But Brianna Hill staying on her trying to Suplex her right back into the ring to continue what she has started. I think it is safe to say that Brianna is impressing here tonight in her debut match as a member of La Familia. But La Familia demands nothing but victory for her tonight and you can see the concern beginning to show on her face as the veteran Cameron continues to survive. Cameron pulls herself up on the ropes but Brianna with a hard kick to the back of the spine. Brianna then rushes in with her leg pinning Cameron’s neck to the ropes and choking her out.
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! That’s enough!
Persephone: My disqualification senses are tingling.
James Peters: Brianna Hill releases the hold as Cameron Ella Ava coughs holding her throat and pulls herself up using the ropes. Brianna goes in with a Back Chop to Cameron. But Cameron counters with an elbow strike of her own! Cameron with a hard kick sending Brianna back across the ring. Cameron charges in… but Brianna sidesteps out of the way and tosses Cameron between the ropes! Cameron manages to twist around and land on the apron showing great agility but Brianna yanks Cameron through the ropes and hits her with a hard European Uppercut. Brianna battering Cameron here before yanking her through the ropes and hitting a Hanging DDT! Briana isn’t done yet though as she makes her way up to the top rope with Cameron prone in the ring… BRIANNA FROM THE TOP WITH A GUILLOTINE LEG DROP!!! SHE GETS ALL OF IT! CRASHING DOWN ON CAMERON FROM UP TOP AND THIS ONE HAS TO BE OVER!!!

Rich Russillo: The kickout from Cameron Ella Ava! Brianna Hill is shook! She can’t believe it and honestly I can’t either. That was a very devastating maneuver and Brianna is now snapping and just unloading with fists flying on Cameron! Cameron throws her off as she rolls on top and begins throwing fists of her own! This thing has descended into an all out brawl and the referee is now warning them for those illegal punches but they don’t care and are just throwing everything they got at each other! Let them fight ref! Let them fight!
James Peters: Brianna Hill rolls back on top of Cameron Ella Ava and begins smashing the back of her head up against the mat. Brianna taking control of this thing as Cameron shoves her off. Brianna up to her feet and begins battering down on Cameron with repeated axe handles to the back knocking Cameron down. Now Brianna grinding the face of Cameron into the mat before hooking in an armbar forcing Cameron’s face down while sitting on top of her. Cameron is trapped but she is trying to fight out of it back on up to her feet!
Rich Russillo: Cameron Ella Ava manages to get back up to her feet and throws Brianna Hill off of her with a swift arm drag. Brianna is thrown across the ring as Cameron pulls herself up in the corner. Brianna charges in but Cameron moves out of the way! Cameron back into the middle of the ring and runs up on Brianna who grabs her and tosses her back with an Exploder Suplex! Brianna grabs Cameron and pulls her up into The Grudge! The Tiger Driver connects driving Cameron right down onto her skull and Brianna now to the cover!!!

James Peters: Cameron Ella Ava kicks out yet again and Brianna Hill is now slapping the mat in rage. She can’t believe that the match was not over there.
Persephone: I understand her pain.
Rich Russillo: Brianna Hill grabs the leg of Cameron Ella Ava dragging her back to the middle of the ring and it looks like she is going to apply a Scorpion Death Lock. But Cameron kicks her off sending her back up against the ropes. Cameron catches Brianna on the rebound going for a Belly to Belly Suplex but Brianna fights back with a series of hard elbows breaking free of Cameron’s grasp. Brianna now recovering in the corner before charging at Cameron with a Running Knee Strike! She gets all of it knocking Cameron back down to the mat. Cameron is in a bad way here as it looks like Brianna might just end things right here and now. Cameron back up in the corner as Brianna charges in with a series of quick kicks against her.

James Peters: Cameron’s quest for glory in 2024 is off to a great start with a big win over La Familia’s Brianna Hill. Brianna definitely impressed but I have to wonder if La Familia is a bad influence on her. She might have won this match if she didn’t get distracted with those dirty tactics!
Rich Russillo: Well I am sure that Brianna will have many more opportunities and maybe she will think better next time about trying to pull a fast one on the likes of Cameron Ella Ava!!!

(Sunday Night Voltage returns to a shot of the backstage area of the Simon Bolivar Stadium and it is from there, in a designated interview area, that Voltage Backstage Correspondent Sofia Clarke is seen standing by with a smile on her face and a microphone in her hand. She takes a moment before beginning to speak.)
Sofia Clarke: Welcome back! I can’t stress enough how insane tonight has been and there is certainly a lot more to come! This past weekend we have seen some interesting developments leading into King of Elite, one of them being a match made official for the Unified Tag Team Championships on Dynasty a couple of days ago. We’re here right now with the challengers, so please join me in welcoming at this time… Donovan Duke and Mia Santoro!
(The camera goes over as Donovan Duke and Mia Santoro make their way into the scene, standing side-by-side as they greet Sofia.)
Sofia Clarke: Donovan, Mia, thank you for joining us tonight.
Donovan Duke: The pleasure is all ours, Sofia.
Sofia Clarke: Well first I wanted to get both of your thoughts on Friday Night Dynasty a couple of days ago, where a match was made official between you two and The Jaded Hearts with the Unified Tag Team Championships on the line.
Mia Santoro: Well I speak for myself when I say that it is a huge opportunity for me. Fighting for the Tag Team Championships, especially with such a partner like Donovan is a huge honor that I do not take for granted whatsoever. But it’s been made clear after what’s been happening these past couple of weeks that this has transcended far beyond the Unified Tag Team Championships.
Donovan Duke: Kassidy and Sienna costing me my match in the King of Elite tournament was the tipping point, and now we find ourselves on a crash course to King of Elite and frankly I could not be more excited. It’s always been personal between me and Kassidy Heart specifically in some way shape or form, and getting a match against her along with Sienna Jade I feel is the best way to settle things once and for all. I am confident in not just my, but Mia’s chances as well, and know that we have what it takes in order to take them down.
(Mia looks up at Donovan with a warm smile before continuing.)
Mia Santoro: The Jaded Hearts may think that it’s over before it started, but we’ve proven long ago that we’re not just any tag team. We’re not like La Familia or POTARA that come with the purpose of losing to them, no, we’re different. We have shown just how different we are and what we bring to the table as a result. They’re great, Kassidy and Sienna, they’re arguably the greatest tag team that this company has ever seen. But as we said on Dynasty it has been proven that the two of them are by no means indestructible. All it takes is the right opportunity from the right Elitists and that just so happens to be us.
Sofia Clarke: Is that the two of you saying that you are better than The Jaded Hearts?
Donovan Duke: Well, I don’t think that there’s anyone going out of their way to try and disregard their influence in this company. Their name speaks for itself and we knew that it would be hard to match up to that had we ever got an opportunity to fight for those titles. But we don’t need to be head and shoulders above them in order to guarantee our victory, no, we just have to be better than them for one night, and we are more than capable of doing that. Not a lot of people are going to be rooting for us I’ll say that. But the deck has been stacked against us before, and we have faced those odds head on and without any regret. It’ll be no different this time either.
Mia Santoro: And I-
(Before Mia can continue, quickly a stagehand rushes in, getting off the phone with someone as he approaches Donovan.)
Stagehand: Donovan I’m really sorry to interrupt this but there’s been an emergency.
(Donovan raises an eyebrow.)
Donovan Duke: What do you mean?
Stagehand: It’s your mother.
(Immediately the color begins to drain from the face of Donovan.)
Stagehand: Your family couldn’t get in touch with you so they called Captain Charisma and he sent me to find you. They’re saying that you need to head to the airport immediately.
(Donovan can’t believe what he’s hearing, and immediately a million thoughts are beginning to run through his mind. In fact, he can’t help but think back to a couple of years ago when something similar happened and he didn’t make it home in time to say goodbye to his father. But before he can do anything rash, Mia grips his hand tight and looks at him with a calm look.)
Mia Santoro: Just go, Donovan. It’ll be alright, I promise. I’ll catch up with you when I can.
(Donovan nods his head and rushes off quickly, meanwhile the stagehand is seen briskly walking the other way, as he turns the corner though… he passes by two figures, who are quick to make a comment.)
Sienna Jade: Good job.
Kassidy Heart: That should do it.
(The Jaded Hearts have wicked looks on their face as they look around the corner, Sunday Night Voltage from there fading into a commercial break.)

(Sunday Night Voltage returns from a brief commercial break to the same area backstage where we left off. This time though, for obvious reasons, only Mia Santoro is seen. She’s pacing around frantically, dialing on her phone and calling in. After the news that Donovan Duke heard had him leave abruptly during their interview, Mia was trying her best to call out and catch up to him before it was too late. She cares about Donovan a lot and wants to be there for whatever news is about to come in regard to his mother. She finally manages to get an answer as she’s quick to talk.)
Mia Santoro: Hey, I’m sorry, but I’m going to have to leave early tonight. I heard what happened with Donovan and I want to be there-
Rich Russillo: OH! FROM BEHIND! THAT’S THE JADED HEARTS! KASSIDY HEART! SIENNA JADE! THEY JUST ATTACKED MIA SANTORO AND ARE STOMPING DOWN ON HER! WE SAW THEM BEFORE THE COMMERCIAL BREAK, COULD THEY HAVE BEEN THE ONES TO ORCHESTRATE THIS?! TRYING TO GET MIA ALONE AND AWAY FROM DONOVAN SO THAT THEY COULD PICK HER APART?!

James Peters: Hayley Morrow fought through thick & thin to show that she’s got what it takes to bring a champion here in EAW to their limit, and after a brutal battle between both elitists tonight, Roberto also proved through his own cunning and willpower that he is the Hardcore Champion for a reason. Let’s not forget either, he won using a move he stole from TLA after taking the Hardcore Championship from him!
Rich Russillo: Without a doubt, a great display of hardcore wrestling here tonight is they are both going to be recovering from this war for the weeks to come, certain moments of this match are surely gonna linger, but Roberto De La Rosa is STILL the EAW Hardcore Champion.
(As Roberto leaves the ring and celebrates, Ruler can be seen moving down the ramp to the confusion of the audience, as he slides into the ring, and has his eyes focused on Hayley, still laying in a pool of her own blood. The referee now tries to head over to Hayley to help, but Ruler gets in front of him. Ruler would soon gently pull Hayley over to the apron, before sliding out of the ring and carrying Hayley in his arms from the ring with the scene fading out.)

She would be watching something on her television screen, and it’d turn out to be none other than Princess Candice! Bea has a very annoyed look on her face as she watches Candice on her screen doing past promotional work, and whatnot. Bea would motion to Cornelius to stop feeding her the grapes as she stops lying and sits properly on her couch with her title draped on her shoulder. She begins to speak about Candice and the so called “pictures” shes seeing of her.
Bea Valentine: OH DEAR LORD! This is who I’m going to be defending my precious little child against? This scoundrel of a woman? I mean look at her in all these shots Cornelius! Does that scream “star” to you? I mean, she wants to take my baby away from me? She wants to separate a mother from her precious little child and this is what a day in her life looks like??? My poor Gloria is gonna be neglected if she is taken by a no good selfish “princess” like that. She shakes her head, and she continues to talk as she begins critiquing Candice’s latest picture. )
Bea Valentine: As much as I appreciate art and am an advocate for true cinema, there are just so many things wrong with this picture! The lighting is awful, the cinematography is sub par. It’s just not that great of a production. I can appreciate the efforts, I really can but I am also passionate about this craft and I know how to criticize art when it needs it and this picture needs to be reworked, Cornelius. Feed me!
( Cornelius would feed some more grapes to Bea as she motions to stop again as she continues to talk and critiques more of Candice’s picture. )
Bea Valentine: Seriously, just look at that hideous blue dress that she’s wearing!!! It looks bloody awful. I can’t believe she would wear something outrageous and disgusting like that. She needs to hire a better wardrobe designer. I’ll tell you that much. I saw what happened here. I’m aware of the footage that was released on Showdown, and it was terrible! The worst part of the whole thing is that she “disneyfied” my precious little Gloria. Look how she massacred my girl!!! She’s wearing my Gloria like she redesigned her, forcing her to an image which I’m sure my precious baby didn’t want to do. It’s a crime against my baby! Bea Valentine: Oh I love you too! Nobody could ever replicate our same love that we have, especially that poor excuse of a princess. In fact, I was just busy looking at a picture Candice posted on social media, and seeing how little care was put into it I just can’t see her taking Gloria. Candice isn’t going to be the main star in our match at King of Elite. She’ll be a supporting actress, just like the five other women in the specialist chamber were supporting actresses that led to me being the star of the show and remaining YOUR champion. Candice can try all she wants, she can train her buttocks off to beat me. She can watch every film in existence to try and steal my lovely Gloria. James Peters: What a match that we have just witnessed here tonight! Albeit it was not what we expected at all, with interferences by La Familia and Cameron Ella Ava to show for that. But in the end, there was only one person who came out on top above all and that was Jamie O’Hara.

Rich Russillo: Last week on Sunday Night Voltage we saw Bea get interrupted during her celebration post-Road To Redemption by one Princess Candice Blair. She had made it known that she was coming after the Specialists Championship, and after their exchange of words they came to blows, where it was Candice that came out on top before Bea with Cornelius ran in retreat. Certainly a statement making moment.
James Peters: With that on the horizon that is something to look forward to, but right now Bea has her eyes set on a huge main event where she will be facing the EAW World Champion in his first match as Champion, and I think it’s automatic to assume just how much a win like this would do for her and her stardom.
(‘It Ain’t Safe’ by Skepta is then heard playing up to thunderous boos as the camera goes over to EAW World Champion Charlie Marr as he makes his way out to the stage. He scans around at the crowd with a shit-eating expression on his face, taking his title and raising it into the air. He’s continued to be given negativity as he makes his way down the ramp and toward the ring from there.)
Bella Braxton: And her opponent… from Tower Hamlets, London, United Kingdom… weighing in at 240 pounds… he is the EAW WORLD CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!! ‘THE TYRANT’… CHARLIE MARR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rich Russillo: And as for Charlie it’s been an eventful homecoming for his return to the top as EAW World Champion. Drake King was quick to be first in line for a Championship shot, but Charlie was also quick to decline it as well. Now heading into King of Elite it seems pretty uncertain who Charlie is going to end up facing at the event for his title.
Persephone: You know that idiot Drake isn’t going to shut up about it, right?
James Peters: That is pretty fair. Drake is not handling his loss as EAW World Champion well, considering that he looks at the title as stolen by him from Charlie. But by the looks of things, Charlie could give less of a damn about it. He’s focused and ready for his match here tonight and looking to get a big win in the main event.
(Charlie makes his way up the steel steps and onto the apron, looking out to the crowd with a grin on his face before entering through the ropes. He takes his EAW World Championship and raises it into the air, a lone spotlight shining down on the center of the ring. Rich Russillo: Well we know why Drake is out here. Last week we saw him try and get a rematch for the EAW World Championship, but Charlie was quick to decline it. Now he seems like he’s coming out before the main event to try again.
James Peters: It’s certainly a bold move, but I don’t think Charlie’s opinion is going to change. In fact, I think it’s going to give him more of a reason to continue saying no considering the annoyance that is beginning to show on his face while he’s inside the ring.)
(Drake makes his way down the ramp, microphone already in hand as he signals for ‘When Darkness Falls’ to come to a close. He looks at Charlie, who doesn’t seem very pleased his match is being halted for the moment. Bea is at ringside with Cornelius as she strokes Gloria like a persian cat in her arms, eyeing this scene as Drake speaks.)
Drake King: No, no, no, this main event is not happening. I am sorry for anyone who attended tonight solely to watch this match, but until further notice it is canceled.
(The crowd boos loudly at Drake, the disappointment setting in as the Hall of Famer holds up the show, but he quickly shakes his head.)
Drake King: We’re not going to sit here and blame me for this, no, there is only one person that should take accountability for this situation and he is standing right in that ring.
(Drake climbs onto the apron and enters into the ring, getting into the face of Charlie who does not at all seem amused by this.)
Drake King: You think you can just get away with saying no to a match for the EAW World Championship? You think you have the right to do that? Absolutely not. You lost it when you stole that title from me at Road To Redemption, just like you lost the privilege of walking around here calling yourself a World Champion when we all know the real EAW World Champion is me. As far as I’m concerned, you’re lucky I’m not out here right now trying to pry that title away from you, because I have the dignity to give you the chance to actually fight for it. But you want to act smart don’t you? Like you’re above me? No, Charlie, you’re a coward that’s what you are.
(Charlie scrunches his face as he listens to what Drake has to say. After a moment he finally gives in and asks for a microphone from the ringside area.)

You’re trying to hold up Charlie Marr’s first main event as EAW World Champion, have YOU no shame? You already spent so much time plateauing this brand with your main events, how about you move over and let the real moneymaker show how it’s done. Because I’m not going to give you this match just because you came out here and you asked two weeks in a row, that’s not happening. This title is better off in my hands and that’s not going to change, so there’s no point in giving a dud like you the spotlight any longer.
Drake King: This is not a Champion that Sunday Night Voltage should be proud of. Charlie Marr holding not just that title captive but this show captive is the last thing that we need, especially if you want to bring up the argument of elevating this brand. For the past few years that is the ONLY thing that I have done. I have made Voltage better by being at the forefront, and I’m sure a lot of people can agree with that. What we have done if you want to talk about evolving is evolve past the need of Charlie Marr in a prominent spot here in this company. We are beyond you and your ways especially when you are far from the person that you once were when you last held that title. The proof of that is how you “won” that title again. That’s not the act of a Champion at all, don’t feel proud of yourself.
Charlie Marr: But I am proud of myself, Drake. I mean, I’m a two-time World Champion, what is there not to be proud of? Doesn’t matter how I won it, whether it be through an actual match or by cashing in the Cash in The Vault that I had rightfully won earlier in the night, I am still the Champion. One way or another you are going to learn to respect that, but you are also going to learn to do it on your own time. I have bigger things to worry about, one of them is this match by the way, and the last thing I need is you trying to interject and ride off my coattails, getting yourself a match that you far from deserve. You should thank me, I’m really doing you a favor.
Drake King: I don’t need a favor from you, what I want is the match that I DESERVE-
(Before Drake can continue, to the surprise, but at the same time not really, of many, the sounds of ‘Stronger (salü remix)’ by The Score begins to blast through the speakers of the arena. The crowd cheers loudly as Rex McAllister is seen beginning to make his way out to the stage with a microphone in hand. If he is disappointed about what happened in his match earlier, he isn’t showing it, but he has pulled a T-shirt over his gear.)
Rich Russillo: Well I can’t say I’m surprised by this. It was only a matter of time before Rex McAllister made his presence known back in the EAW World Championship picture, especially after hearing him speak this week. He was in the Extreme Elimination Chamber when Charlie cashed in, and if it wasn’t for him, it would’ve been between him and Drake to win the EAW World Championship.
James Peters: We know Rex has been hungry for a very long time to get a World Championship back under his belt and losing out to it because of Charlie and the Cash in The Vault definitely does not sit right with him. So it seems like he’s here to interject.
(Rex signals for his music to come to a close as he makes his way down the ramp, beginning to speak to Charlie and Drake while he does.)
Rex McAllister: I hope I wasn’t interrupting anything, but I felt the need to come out here and state a few problems of my own since we’re in the business of doing such. As you may already know, I was also involved in the Extreme Elimination Chamber where Charlie Marr cashed in his briefcase to become a two-time EAW World Champion at Road To Redemption. While Drake is so adamant on getting a rematch, just like him, it seems to have been forgotten that I missed out on an opportunity to become a World Champion myself because of him. I saw everything that happened last week and much like Drake here, I want the chance to pick up where I left off and while we’re at it, I want to throw my ballot in to face Charlie for the EAW World Championship.
(Rex stands at the bottom of the ramp as Charlie has seemingly reached his boiling point inside of the ring on the other hand.)
Charlie Marr: My answer does not change, no. It doesn’t matter how many people walk out and beg me for a match for my title, it does not change the fact at all that I am the EAW World Champion and I decide who I defend against, who I face, and when I do it-
???: Do you?
(The crowd cheers loudly hearing the familiar voice, as the camera goes over to Voltage Commissioner Captain Charisma beginning to make his way out to the stage. He too has a microphone in hand as he eyes all three Elitists.)
Captain Charisma: I’ll be quick since I know we have a main event to look forward to tonight. Charlie, I’ve heard what you’ve had to say these past couple of weeks, and unfortunately I have to be the bearer of bad news and tell you HAVE to defend the title at King of Elite.
(The crowd cheers for this and Charlie does not like where this is going.)
Captain Charisma: So seeing as though you are not keen to find a challenger for the occasion, I will happily do so for you. At King of Elite, Charlie Marr will defend his Championship against not just Drake King, but against Rex McAllister as well in a triple threat match!
(The crowd roars at the match announcement as Charlie is fuming inside the ring. Both Rex and Drake look satisfied by this as Captain Charisma makes his exit, and not long after both of them do as well. Charlie can’t let this get to his head though, as he has a match coming up next which will roll underway very soon as the cameras fade to a brief commercial break.)

James Peters: HERE WE GO! This Champion versus Champion match is underway, and both Elitists lock up in the center of the ring! Charlie powers Bea into the corner, and after the count of five the referee begins to separate the two- AND CHARLIE WENT FOR A CHEAP SHOT, BUT BEA DUCKS UNDER IT BEFORE RETURNING TO THE CENTER OF THE RING! I think Bea knew what to expect, because the size difference put her in an obvious disadvantage once they locked up. Both Elitists now circling the ring- BUT BEA GOES LOW, ROLLING CHARLIE UP INTO A PIN!
Rich Russillo: CHARLIE IMMEDIATELY KICKS OUT THOUGH, AND AS SOON AS HE ROLLS TO HIS FEET HE PULLS BEA INTO A FRONT FACELOCK BEFORE LIFTING HER UP FOR A SUPLEX- WHICH DOESN’T CONNECT! Bea slips out of Charlie’s grasp before rolling out of the ring, and I think Bea is taking a moment to rethink her gameplan here. After all, she’s up against the newly crowned EAW World Champion. Charlie waits for Bea to get back into the ring, but Bea takes her time. It’s not the popular decision, but to her credit, Charlie isn’t the kind of Elitist you want to face without the proper gameplan.
Persephone: Well he’s also not the kind of Elitist I want to see wrestle.
James Peters: Bea now slowly sliding into the ring, AND SHE QUICKLY GOES AFTER CHARLIE! CHARLIE LOOKS FOR A LARIAT BUT BEA DUCKS UNDER BEFORE RUNNING THE ROPES- AND BEA JUST TRIED TO HIT THE BEA TRIGGER EARLY, BUT CHARLIE WAS ABLE TO AVOID IT BEFORE GRABBING BEA FROM BEHIND! GERMAN SUPLEX BY CHARLIE MARR!!!! It looks like Bea was trying to surprise Charlie by using her finishing move early, but that didn’t work out how she hoped it would!
Rich Russillo: Bea stumbles into the corner of the ring, AND CHARLIE MARR CHARGES IN- BUT BEA MANAGES TO GET THE BOOT UP! Charlie stumbles back a bit, and Bea follows that up with a chop to the chest! A second one by Bea! A third! Bea now grabbing Charlie before looking to send him into the ropes with an irish whip- but Charlie turns it around! Charlie sends Bea into the ropes- BUT AS BEA REBOUNDS OFF OF THEM, SHE RUNS IN AND CONNECTS WITH A DROPKICK TO CHARLIE’S LEG! Charlie is down, and Bea looks proud of herself for that one!
James Peters: Bea takes a moment to taunt towards the crowd, but I don’t think she kept in mind how early on we still are in this match! Bea turns around- RIGHT INTO A KNEE TO THE MIDSECTION! Charlie made it back to his feet while Bea was busy playing up to the crowd, and now he delivers a second knee, before following it up with a short-arm lariat! Bea is down on the mat, but Charlie doesn’t give her any time to recover! Instead he gets down on the mat before beginning to punch away at the Specialists Champion!
Rich Russillo: Charlie Marr not letting up, BUT BEA IS ABLE TO ROLL CHARLIE INTO ANOTHER PIN! CHARLIE IS ABLE TO ONCE AGAIN IMMEDIATELY KICK OUT- ONLY THIS TIME, AS SOON AS BOTH ELITISTS RETURN TO THEIR FEET, CHARLIE CONNECTS WITH A BIG BOOT TO THE SIDE OF BEA’S HEAD! Bea stumbles towards the ropes as Charlie runs in, AND CHARLIE SENDS THE SPECIALISTS CHAMPION OUT OF THE RING WITH A CLOTHESLINE! Charlie seems to be in full control now. This isn’t good for Bea Valentine, who needs to figure something out and fast.
Persephone: Or she could just go away. Either one works. Both her and Charlie are boring, so I’m not sure why this Champion versus Champion match needed to happen.
James Peters: Bea Valentine is at ringside, but Charlie immediately rolls out of the ring, following behind this time now that he knows he’s in control! Bea gets back up- BUT AS SOON AS SHE DOES THIS, CHARLIE SLAMS HER FACE ONTO THE APRON, BEFORE TURNING AROUND AND SENDING BEA CRASHING INTO THE BARRICADE! Bea Valentine is in a bit of trouble right now as Charlie drags Bea back up, AND HE SENDS HER INTO THE-
Rich Russillo: BEA TURNED IT AROUND AND SENT CHARLIE FACE FIRST INTO THE RING POST! Charlie stumbles back after that, AND BEA GRABS HIM BEFORE SENDING HIM CRASHING INTO THE STEEL STEPS!!! Bea quickly slides back into the ring after that, as she is clearly willing to win this match by any means! Charlie is able to use the steps to push himself back up though, and now he rolls back into the ring! Bea doesn’t make things easy for him though, as she immediately begins stomping away at Charlie as soon as he enters the ring!
James Peters: Charlie shoves Bea away before stumbling towards the corner, AND NOW BEA RUNS IN BEFORE CONNECTING WITH AN UPPERCUT! Bea now pulling Charlie into a front facelock before pulling him out of the corner, AND NOW SHE STEPS OFF OF THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE, TAKING CHARLIE DOWN WITH A TORNADO DDT!!! BEA VALENTINE WITH THE FIRST COVER OF THE MATCH!

James Peters: KICKOUT BY CHARLIE, AND THIS MATCH CONTINUES! Bea isn’t happy about that, but she quickly heads to the top rope as she sees Charlie starting to get back up! It looks like she has something on her mind, and this is exactly what you need when facing someone like Charlie!
Rich Russillo: Bea Valentine is up top and Charlie has made it back to her feet, AND BEA VALENTINE GOES FOR A DIVING CLOTHESLINE- BUT CHARLIE CATCHES HER! CHARLIE CAUGHT BEA OUT OF THE SKY, AND NOW HE SENDS HER ACROSS THE RING WITH AN OVERHEAD BELLY TO BELLY! Bea Valentine is slowly trying to push herself back up to her feet, BUT CHARLIE QUICKLY RUNS IN, CONNECTING WITH A RUNNING KNEE LIFT THAT DROPS BEA ONCE MORE! This time it’s Charlie that goes for the cover!

James Peters: Charlie drags Bea Valentine into a front facelock, AND IT LOOKS LIKE HE’S SETTING UP FOR “THE QUEEN IS DEAD”, BUT BEA IS ABLE TO FREE ONE OF HER ARMS BEFORE BEGINNING TO REPEATEDLY PUNCH CHARLIE IN THE RIBS! CHARLIE IS FORCED TO LET GO, BUT IN RETURN HE THROWS A RIGHT HAND AT BEA, DROPPING HER AND FORCING HER TO USE THE ROPES TO PULL HERSELF BACK UP! Bea hasn’t been given any time to recover yet, and I think Charlie wants to keep it that way so he can finish this match up quickly!
Rich Russillo: Charlie delivers another right hand that causes Bea to stumble into the corner of the ring, AND NOW CHARLIE RUNS IN BEFORE DELIVERING A FOREARM! Charlie slowing the pace down here as he’s just not giving Bea a moment to make a move! Charlie now with an irish whip, USING ALL HIS STRENGTH TO MAKE BEA CRASH HARD INTO THE TURNBUCKLES! Bea hit those turnbuckles back first, dropping her to a knee as she slowly uses the turnbuckles to pull herself back up! She’s still not safe though, as Charlie Marr is running in!
James Peters: BEA GETS OUT OF THE WAY THOUGH, CAUSING CHARLIE TO GO SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RING POST!!!! BEA GOT OUT OF HARM’S WAY, AND NOW SHE PULLS CHARLIE INTO A ROLL UP!!!

James Peters: Charlie gets back to his feet- OR AT LEAST HE TRIED TO, BUT AS SOON AS HE GOT TO A KNEE, BEA VALENTINE TOOK HIM DOWN WITH A SUPERKICK!!!! Charlie Marr is down, and once again Bea is heading up to the top rope! This time however, it doesn’t look like she’s waiting for Charlie to get back up to his feet! Bea is looking to keep Charlie down, and win this match! Bea now up top, AND SHE DIVES OFF THE TOP ROPE, FLIGHT OF THE BUMBLEBEA!!!!

That was a rough landing by Bea, who holds her stomach in pain as she slowly pushes herself back to the- WOAH, WAIT A SECOND! THE HEADMASTER RITUAL!!!! James Peters: That was a great move by Charlie Marr, but it wasn’t enough to get the job done! Bea Valentine is definitely in some trouble now though, as that spinebuster clearly did a lot of damage. Bea is slowly trying to crawl out to the apron, BUT CHARLIE DRAGS HER BACK INTO THE RING BEFORE DELIVERING A KNEE DROP TO HER BACK! Charlie continuing to show just how ruthless he can be right now, and I just have to take a moment to talk about the rise Charlie has had in the last few months. He wasn’t happy with how things went when he returned, but since Wicked Games I think it’s safe to say he’s been at the top of his game.
Rich Russillo: Charlie delivers a stomp to Bea’s back before grabbing her and pulling her into a rear chinlock. Charlie knows he’s in control of this match right now and is using that to his favor. Rich Russillo: She just might! Bea may get overconfident at times, but right now she’s doing whatever she can to come out of this match on top! Bea Valentine is dragging Charlie Marr back to his feet, and Charlie basically looks lifeless right now. After all, he was hit with those double knees not too long ago, and that was immediately after a slingblade! Bea quickly gets back up and turns around- BUT A REGULAR EUROPEAN UPPERCUT DROPS BEA VALENTINE! This has been a very hard hitting match, but it’s starting to look like things are taking a turn. Charlie Marr just took Bea Valentine down with another move, and it doesn’t look like Bea is getting up as easily this time around. I think she might be done.
Rich Russillo: Charlie certainly doesn’t care, though. Charlie grabs Bea- and… Well he tried to pull her away from the corner, but Bea is holding on! Bea is desperately holding onto the ropes, and because of this he’s forced to let go of her! Bea must know she doesn’t have much left, BUT CHARLIE TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION BY DELIVERING A STOMP TO THE BACK OF BEA VALENTINE’S HEAD! Bea is forced to let go of the turnbuckle after that, and now Charlie grabs Bea before- WOAH!

(Candice Blair begins to walk out with a smile on her face, but she’s not alone. As Candice walks out, various woodland animals such as birds and even some baby deer would follow her, causing a loud reaction to come from the fans. Bea Valentine is confused watching this go down, meanwhile the fans are cheering as Candice makes her way to the ring like a real Disney Princess.)
Bea Valentine: (off-mic) WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE????
James Peters: For once, I actually have to agree with Bea. :lupe:
Rich Russillo: I have seen a lot here throughout my time on Voltage, but I’m not so sure if I’ve ever seen anything quite like this. Bea Valentine had this match won just a moment ago, and now… Now the arena is filled with animals!

Charlie raises his EAW World Championship to more boos, meanwhile Candice Blair remains at ringside, looking towards the fallen Bea Valentine. From there, Voltage begins to fade to black.)
