(Showdown opens up with a recap of last week’s Showdown. Kennedy Street comes out to talk about the new season, and she lets TLA come out as well to talk and celebrate his championship win. La Familia defeats Nikki Kimura, Hardcore Luna and Raeangel Guzman. Auburn Ware has an interview with Kyra Phillips talking about her win at Pain for Pride before out of nowhere, Miku Sakai, Aria Lestrade, Brianna Hill and Hardcore Luna interfere her interview and due to the commotion, Alana decides to let these ladies fight in a five way at Midsummer Massacre for a title shot. Aria Lestrade has a segment in her office talking about everything that has happened to her and what she is about to do to bounce back from everything. Miku Sakai defeats Ryan Joseph Wilson after a cheeky roll up. Cody Maverick comes out to talk about the new season and this new chapter, before getting interrupted by Ruler and wanting a match with him so that the two of them can prove themselves against each other. Harper Lee defeats Ruler after a low blow from her. Veena Adams comes out to talk about her historic reign as champion and that she is not stopping at all, she is joined as well with Charlie Marr as the two promise they will dominate and run through Showdown. SOSA Henderson defeats Jon Kelton by a count out. The Jaded Hearts come out to brag about their last season and them still being champions as they welcome any challengers and they are ready to destroy any last one of them in their way. And finally, the main event between Milli Banks and Bronson Daniels versus TLA and Donovan Duke ends in disaster as Harper Lee and Charlie Marr interfere, Kennedy comes out to settle this chaos before it pans out backstage as well to see Roberto and La Familia ended up attacking and laying out Veena.)
(The recap ends, and it is replaced with the song “Brick Wall” by a Day to Remember, as the camera pans around the inside of the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Fireworks are shooting out of the stage and the whole crowd can be seen cheering and being excited for the show. The camera ends up panning over to the commentary table with Deadprez, Eve and Gavin Kirkland as the commentators start talking.)
Eve: WELCOME EVERYONE… TO SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN!
Deadprez: We are coming off the first Showdown of the season, incredibly wild, incredibly chaotic, and in the upcoming weeks heading into Midsummer Massacre, I am completely sure we are not stopping in any way.
Eve: We will see Ruler face off against Hardcore Luna, Raeangel Guzmán face Nikki Kimura and Cody Maverick against none other than Aria Lestrade!
Deadprez: And then we will see Mr. Cash in the Vault Donovan Duke face Charlie Marr, and finally, in the main event, The Jaded Hearts will fight Roberto and Luis de la Rosa!
Gavin Kirkland: LET US NOT WASTE ANY MORE TIME, LET’S START WITH MILLI BANKS, AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!
(Suddenly, just as the commentators give their last words, “Changed It” by Lil Wayne & Nicki Minaj starts playing on the speakers and the whole crowd goes absolutely bananas when hearing this theme song, they are genuinely excited, they are up to their feet and they are shouting with their voices, chanting for Milli Banks as she strolls out with the championship wrapped around her waist, bopping and moving around with the song, being in a genuine great mood as she spreads her arms to the side and she lets the energy of the crowd boost her and give her energy. The Universal Women’s Champion was here!)
Gavin Kirkland: OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOD, I CHANGED IIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTT!!!!
Deadprez: Is he going to sing like this every time Milli comes out?
Gavin Kirkland: OH MY GOOOOOOOOOD, THEY STILL ON THE SAME SHIT-
Eve: Well, while Gavin is standing up and happily singing along to the song, we see that our Universal Women’s Champion is opening up the show with her incredibly welcome presence, it was a shocking pick to say the least since this is the first time we have seen Milli Banks be on Showdown in her entire career, but she has been the number one draft pick between the whole roster and what happened last week was a blast in every way possible, not exactly the good one considering the main event ended in complete chaos but a blast nonetheless, and I think Milli Banks is going to explain it to us in more detail so take it away for her!
(Milli moves down the ramp still bopping to the song as she accepts high fives from all of the people in front of the crowd, moving quickly towards the steel steps and climbing up them, entering the ring through the ropes and then spinning around once more to flaunter a bit, before taking off the championship and then raising it up in the air for everyone to see as she set it down on her shoulder and her theme stopped playing. She put the microphone up to her mouth and then she started talking.)
Milli Banks: Atlanta, Georgia! How the fuck y’all doing?!
(The crowd cheers incredibly loud for Milli as she lets a smirk appear on her face, nodding along.)
Milli Banks: I am happy to hear all of you are enjoying yourselves, had a nice cool little smoothie on the trip to get here on the plane, had a nice time seeing you there and almost snatching my hair from how many of you were there, all of you chill a bit as well! But I appreciate all of the love that you have given me, but it is clear that I did not get the same from the raggedy bitches that want to take the championship that I have on my shoulder, and one especifically that is the most annoying of them all, but I am cutting too fast to the chase, as you have seen, I wanted to make a good first impression! As your new Universal Women’s Champion, I wanted to left an imprint and a good first impression on the draft after the biggest win of my whole career at Pain for Pride, won my first world championship like that in almost a snap, beat one of the most dominating wrestlers to have ever crossed this company, the usual impressive stuff that you can see from me, you know what I mean? And then suddenly the whole ass women’s roster comes out to interrupt my celebration, like damn, please let me breathe at least!
Milli Banks: And well, they all wanted a shot at me, as usual, and even though amongst them were my friends like Holly and Aria, let me tell you right now, that even though I love them both, I ain’t backing away from a fight and letting the competition take this away from me, and even if I can do that to them, the other competitors that appeared do not know what the hell they just did trying to invoke my fury because this one little bitch, this one annoying inconsequential pimple that is only there to make your day a little bit worse ended up trying to ruin away the second attempt at a good impression, a good impact to make going up against the Answers World Champion and Mister Cash in the Vault, and she ends up interfering and ruining something that did not involve her at all, of course, I am not saying her name because if I probably do, she is going to suddenly summon herself like she is Voldemort’s ugly ass, but you know what? I actually want to talk to her, so of course, the woman who did that was-
(“Sweet Dreams” by Eurythmics starts playing on the speakers and the crowd goes incredibly hostile this time and the loud cheers turn into incredibly loud boos for the woman that was now coming out at this moment, she walked towards the stage and completely ignored the boos from everybody, rolling her eyes in response and simply walking down the ramp.)
Deadprez: Usually you say Voldemort’s name for this case, guess Harper did not want to wait.
Gavin Kirkland: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, HARPER, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Eventhoughyouarepretty- BUT BOOOOOOOOOO! GET OFF MY SUPERNOVA!
Eve: Well, indeed, Harper Lee was the one who decided to interfere last week and kind of insert herself into the main event between all of those competitors, and knowing what kind of woman she is when it came to targeting Milli of all of the people, it does not take to be a rocket scientist to know why she was doing it in the first place.
(Harper Lee completely took in the boos like they were nothing, jumping onto the ring and then getting through the ropes before looking towards Milli with the most uninterested expression in existence before her music died down.)
Milli Banks: Aye, the Wicked Witch of the West finally wants to make her appearance, you here to bore me with your delusional explanations, because as far as I know you if you really wanted a championship match, you could have just gone and asked for it.
Harper Lee: Oh no no, I could have a title shot anytime I want, I can just go and ask for it if I dare need to, I do not need to get a title shot just by beating up another overhyped wrestler that goes through these doors.
Milli Banks: Yep, there is the whining we all know and despise.
Harper Lee: You call it whining, I call it speaking up when no one else will, because you know why I ended up doing what I did last week? To keep you on your toes. Because I know what you are doing, I know what I see compared to the rest of the other wrestlers and fans that want to larp you up rather than criticize you for all of the mistakes that you are going to inevitably do with that championship on yourself, because you are indeed getting comfortable after winning that championship off of Minerva by, surprise, taking advantage of the incompetent Hikari Kanno, and now you act like you are completely on top of the world, and so it is my job despite them every single person here being incredibly ungrateful, that I have to expose you for what you are and show that you are not ready for that championship, I am going to be a World Champion again and I am not the type of person that is going to wait-
Milli Banks: Yap yap yap, I am tired of you, just tell me if you want to challenge me or not, Midsummer Massacre? I got the date made and set, I am ready to do it.
Harper Lee: Alright then, it is a date! I just want you to remember one more thing…

Eve: HARPER LEE SUDDENLY ENDS UP HITTING MILLI RIGHT ON THE FACE WITH THE DRAGON FIST, THE RIGHT HOOK KNOCKING MILLI’S HEAD TO THE SIDE-
Deadprez: AND HARPER USES THAT OPPORTUNITY TO GRAB HER FROM BEHIND AND THEN HIT HER WITH THE RAGNAROK! HARPER LEE JUST ENDED UP LAYING OUT THE UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPION LIKE THAT!
(The crowd boos incredibly loudly once more, “Sweet Dreams” playing once more as Harper does not care in the slightest for Milli and goes to grab the championship, lifting it up in the air and posing with it as she takes in this small victory and Showdown fades away from there.)

(“Ich Tu Dir Weh” by Rammstein plays soon after, introducing Hardcore Luna! Flaming firing off the background as she rides down in her Harley Davidson motorcycle!)
Gina Romano: Introducing first, from Diamond Head Hawaii, weighting in at 170 pounds, the “DIVA OF VIOLENCE” HARDCORE LUNA!
(“Prices” by Lil Uzi Vert began to replace Luna music, he stood on stage for a moment as soon as he walked out, he took in the crowd and then directed his focus to his opponent in the ring. He then starts to make his way down the ramp.)
Gina Romano: Introducing the challenger, from Boston, Massachusetts, weighting in at 220 pounds! THE RULER OF EVERYTHING!
(DING! DING! DING)
Gavin Kirkland: The match has begun, and Luna is looking to be brave, walking to the center of the ring and holding her fist out to see if Ruler will take it. He is passing on that offer, keeping his eyes locked on Luna. She bounces off the ropes, possibly a pump fake to test Ruler’s nerves. He quickly rolls to a different position, his eyes not leaving Luna as she quickly approaches. Going for a couple of strikes, but Ruler keeps his hands up, blocking the strikes coming his way. Left hook, right hook, and getting his legs up to block the cook!
Eve: It is very bold of Luna to compete with Ruler regarding striking. However, you have much to prove when facing someone of his caliber. Even if you can’t win, you have to make sure you can hang, which is what Hardcore Luna is showing perfectly. However, she is moving away from the striking, dropping down, and going for a takedown. But Ruler seems to be anticipating it! Trying to get her in a headlock, trying his best not to allow her to grab onto him! Luna was able to get him up against the ropes! Ruler grabs the top rope, breaking the hold.
Deadprez: A good start from Luna. She is making Ruler second guess his strategy in this match! She isn’t being passive. She is going in hard and aggressive. Charging forward, Ruler went for a kick, but it was caught- LUNA GOING FOR A STRIKE TO THE FACE! Ruler moves his backward, just missing that strike by a few inches. Luna is still pressing him, trying to strike him, but Ruler moves his body around, trying his best to avoid any of Luna’s strikes! It’s impressive Luna is getting Ruler on heavy defense. Not able to get Luna back away, she charges head-first against her experienced competitor!
Gavin Kirkland: Ruler managed to lock in a front headlock, stomping her momentum. He’s trying to keep her down, slowly getting her to the mat. Turning his body, he tries to do a body lock– but LUNA FIGHTS BACK! Managing to slip out of the hold! Luna goes for a strike, but Ruler grabs her leg, taking it down and looking for a submission. Luna reverses it again, locking her legs around Ruler’s head and looking for a triangle choke! She tries to get the submission off, but Ruler’s strength helps push him upwards! I’m getting her in a pin attempt, but she gets her shoulder up before the referee can count!
Eve: Luna managed to keep the hold locked, rolling Ruler back to the mat and continuing to attempt a submission– but Ruler pushed Luna to the side! Managing to break the hold, now jumping onto her arm! Grabbing it, he lifts her, getting her back to her feet. Luna continued to fight, however, throwing kicks at Ruler’s leg! He is trying to break the hold of Ruler, but having control over that arm gives him the leverage he needs to stop Luna’s offense. But Luna will only allow Ruler to keep a hold of it! Throwing up knees to the chest, hard strikes to break the hold!
Deadprez: Luna takes hold of his head and flips Ruler down to the mat! Quickly locking in his head! Tightly clenching in a chin lock, Ruler immediately gets out of it! Grabbing her arm and putting her in an arm submission, locking it behind her back! Luna is trying to get out of the submission and rolling out of the submission! Luna is showing off her tactician style, keeping Ruler on his toes! Please give him a second thought on how difficult this match will be! Luna broke out of the hold, grabbing hold of Ruler, trying to keep a tight grip on his head–
Gavin Kirkland: Luna finally takes hold of his head, looking for a headlock, but Ruler grabs Luna by the waist! Attempting a suplex, but Luna rushes forward! Grabbing the ropes and pushing Ruler backward, making him roll back! Ruler gets back up, rushing to Luna– but is stopped by Luna with a forearm! Ruler staggered, Luna followed up with a stiff kick to the chest, over and over! Luna managed to get Ruler stunned with kicks! Luna goes for another one– but Ruler quickly drops down, sweeping their leg and making her fall to the mat! Luna is doing well, but that experience is vital to Ruler.
Eve: While his experience is vital for Ruler, Luna’s resilience will be critical for her! Luna, getting into the corner, lifts herself in the corner! She is not giving up. I don’t even think she is close to giving up! Luna is going for a kick; Ruler quickly drops the mat! He kipples up and hits her with his knees, slamming it into her abdomen! Luna is down! Ruler can finally catch his breath, walking around the ring, but his eyes are still focused on Luna. Ruler wanders into the corner, climbing to the top! Luna gets back to her feet and quickly rushes towards Ruler–
Deadprez: Ruler jumping over Luna! Ruler rolls to his feet, checking back to see Luna approaching him! Ruler kicks her in the chest, dropping her to the mat! Now, going for the pin!

Deadprez: Luna gets her shoulder up! But Ruler isn’t let up, grabbing Luna by the head and lifting her! He takes her into the corner and slams her head into the turnbuckle! Continuing the assault, Ruler is just nailing hard kicks to Luna’s chest! Over and over! I’m trying to wear her down– but Luna is fighting back! Striking back, trying to get out of the corner– RULER WITH A BOOT TO THE FACE! Knocking her to the ground!
Gavin Kirkland: Ruler dragging her out of the corner, trying to go for a vertical suplex. Luna managed to weigh herself down! Landing her knees on the mat, Ruler slammed his forearm on the back of her head! Ruler lifts her back up, but Luna lands on her feet. Ruler quickly pushes her away with his foot! He rushes towards Luna– she kicks him in the face! Ruler stumbles backward– Ruler goes for a kick, but Luna ducks and rolls forward! Kicking at the leg! Slapping him across the face! Slamming his knee against the abdomen! Followed by a leg sweep! Shutting down the offense of Ruler! Luna is giving it her all!
Eve: Ruler retreating into the corner and leaning against the ropes. Luna jumps and NAILS him with a forearm strike! Luna takes the arm, twisting and dropping his elbow on her sounder! Luna took hold of him and dropped him with a back body drop! She isn’t done yet, turning at the leg! Luna getting a tight leg lock, trying to get Ruler to tap out! It’s an excellent way of doing so, in the center of the ring. Ruler is trying to get Luna off! Slapping at his face! Luna slapping back! Back and forth! Back and forth! Hard strikes! Luna, going back to the submission–
Deadprez: Ruler is now chipping away at the submission, throwing down hard heel kicks to break the hold! Luna finally released the submission, and both competitors were on the ground trying to recover! Luna’s leg lock seemed to have badly affected Ruler, who struggled to return to his feet. This match has had its foot on the gas since the very start, and they won’t hit the brakes until one keeps their shoulder down for three or tap! These competitors are too stubborn, and their wills are too strong to stay down. I wouldn’t be surprised if this match ends with a referee stoppage.
Gavin Kirkland: Ruler tightly grips Luna’s chin, slowly picking her up to her feet— SENDING HER DOWN WITH A GIANT EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! Luna down on the mat, coughing roughly! Ruler stands over Luna. Whenever Luna tries to stand, she gets an open palm SLAP! Sending her back down to the mat! Completely discombobulating Luna, who I am sure is hearing ringing in her ears!
Eve: Luna tries to pick herself back up, sitting up upright, Ruler bounces off of the ropes and bolts towards her and CRAVES IN HER CHEST WITH A DOUBLE STOMP! Ruler quickly attempts a pinfall position!

Eve: LUNA KICKS OUT! She manages to get her whole body up and— OH MY GOD! She’s biting Ruler’s ear! She’s biting Ruler’s ear! Desperately trying to get Ruler away from her!
Deadprez: I don’t think there are any rules against biting! Luna is pulling out all the stops to ensure she walks out of Showdown with the victory! This is very serious for them, and we can see that with each passing moment! Ruler grabs his ear. It was almost like a dog was trying to chew his ear off! Ruler stands up and looks for Luna— HE IS HIT WITH A KNEE TO THE BUTTON! KNOCKING RULER CLEAN OUT! THIS COULD BE IT! THIS COULD BE IT! COVER!

Gavin Kirkland: NO! RULER GETS HIS SHOULDER UP JUST IN TIME! I could have sworn that he was gone. Even though Luna looks disappointed, she is so close to tasting victory. Just inches away! There is no time to feel sorry for yourself. You need to keep that offense up and ensure your opponent doesn’t get any space! A couple of big moves could be the end of this match.
Eve: Luna returns to her feet and looks down at Ruler, lying on his back in the middle of the ring. She looks at the ropes and back at Ruler. She shrugs before running to the ropes and GOES FOR A PERFECT SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT—
ONLY FOR RULER TO ROLL OUT OF THE WAY! Luna landed hard on her stomach and face but could still climb back to her feet, only for Ruler to sneak up behind her and lock in a SLEEPER HOLD! Tightening her grip around Luna’s neck before wrapping his legs around her waist! Making her fall to the ground, getting the life choked out of her!
Deadprez: If there is a submission you never want to find yourself in, it’s the chokehold! Mainly when applied by Ruler! He got it locked in like an anaconda around his prey! Luna’s face is even turning a light shade of purple! I don’t need to be a doctor to tell you that you aren’t supposed to look like that! This ends in two ways: either Luna passes out or Luna taps. But who am I kidding? As much as this match means to the pride of Luna, she would much rather pass out than tap out.
Gavin Kirkland: Luna is not going to last another moment in this death grip of a chokehold. Her signs of struggle were frantic…now it’s nothing at all. She stopped trying to pry the arms open, now in a slump. The referee goes over to check on Luna. With a glance, it seems he is concluding that Luna was out. This match may just be over, it was a good run from Luna but there is no way she survives a hold like this!
Eve: WAIT…Luna begins to wake up and is getting an amplified amount of energy! Slowly rolling over and picking herself up…with Ruler still on her back! SHE RAMS RULER’s BACK INTO THE NEAREST CORNER! Managing to break the hold that Ruler had on her! Luna falls over and crawls away from Ruler to create some space! The passion of Luna can’t be understated! Coming back from near unconsciousness to fight back in this match! Never count this woman out! Luna is getting back to her feet and going straight for Ruler! As we stated, neither of these competitors are giving time for each other to breathe. No time to recover! When they have the chance, they are on the attack!
Deadprez: Luna was back on Ruler, hitting hard clothesline after clothesline in the corner! Each one has more power behind it than the last! She only stopped when the referee got close to disqualifying her. She grabs Ruler’s hair and tosses him out of the corner, continuing to glare at him. Even though he was motionless on the ground, she couldn’t be too sure. Seeing that he wasn’t moving, looks like Luna has decided to take a risk. She climbs to the top rope, trying to keep her eye on Jay— but her attention was off him for a split second to check his balance on the top rope! Ruler found an opportunity to kip up and jump to the top rope! Hooking Luna’s arm, looking for a superplex!
Gavin Kirkland: All it takes is a second, a second for the offense that you had to switch and wind up in your opponent’s hands! But Luna isn’t going out without a fight! Slamming her fist in the side of Ruler’s ribs! Trying her best to fight out of Ruler’s hold! It might be ineffective— NOPE! Spoke too soon! Luna breaks the hold and catches Ruler with a headbutt! ANOTHER ONE FOR GOOD MEASURE! Sending Ruler down to the mat! Luna finally gets free from Ruler’s superplex attempt but realizes she is in position for another one of his moves. He hops down to the apron and waits for Jay to stand up, calling for him, yelling for him to get up!
Eve: Luna is setting up for the springboard maneuver! If she can pull this off, it may mark the end of this match! Luna is locked in, ready to put her all into this move! Luna sees Ruler getting up, she throws himself into the ring! GOING FOR A SPRINGBOARD— WAIT! RULER GETS OUT OF THE WAY! MOVING OUT OF HARMS WAY! MAKING HER CRASH INTO THE MAT!
Deadprez: Luna quickly getting back to her feet! Trying to catch Ruler before he recovers- “REVOLUTIONIZER” KNOCKING HER OUT COLD! RULER DROPPING DOWN FOR THE COVER! COULD THIS BE IT?!

Gavin Kirkland: That match was simply amazing, both competitors giving it their all here on Showdown to come out victorious! While Luna may have come up short, whoever was watching that match knows what she is capable of and how much of a threat she can be!
Eve: This match just made me want to see where else she goes! With the season still so young, Hardcore Luna may grow to heights that we can’t even dream of. Nonetheless, amazing effort by both competitors and congratulations to Ruler for pulling through!
(The camera focuses on Ruler as he stands in the middle of the ring with his arm raised, he looks down on Luna who was holding her jaw. The scene fades to black.)
(The scene fades to the backstage interview area; Kyra Phillips smiles at the camera momentarily before starting the introduction.)
Kyra Phillips: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome my guest for tonight. One of Showdown’s newest acquisitions from the Draft is Ryan Wilson!
(The camera pans to Ryan Wilson, standing beside Kyra with a smile.)
Ryan Wilson: Thanks for having me.
Kyra Phillips: I know I said the newest acquisition, but this isn’t your first time on Showdown. Some of our newer viewers may not know this, but you were once the General Manager of this brand in 2020. Now, after all that time on Dynasty, you are back, and I am sure ready to leave your mark.
Ryan Wilson: Absolutely. Who isn’t looking to start marking their claim, as we are so early in the season? If you don’t do it now, getting where you need to be may take a while. Trust me; I am talking about experience. You’re right — I was the Showdown GM, which was a fantastic experience. However, I wasn’t satisfied with my run at that time. I felt like I could have done better, I could have been better, and before leaving, I had left a lot of unfinished business. My coming back here is a sign for me to do what I couldn’t do or, instead, do what I didn’t get to do in my time here. While I can look at the past and reminisce, I would much rather look at the present and achieve, which is what I will do.
Kyra Phillips: You have been resilient last season and have shown how much you’ve grown and become a star in your own right that people have kept an eye on. But I must mention last week that your first match this season with Miku Sakai didn’t go exactly as you wanted it to. Any thoughts on the results of that match?
Ryan Wilson: I understand why Miku did what she did. Am I happy she employed cheap tactics to get the underhand? Not. Am I pleased that my first match this season was a loss? Furious. But then I think to myself, what kind of competitor makes her, and what kind of competitor I am? If I was so much of a problem, I couldn’t win on my strength and had to pull a fast one. That makes me stronger and more competent, and it shows that I am at a level where people need to do whatever they can to have a chance against me. You know what? That’s a good thing to hear. It satisfies me. It means that I am making strides to be the best. Besides, it’s the beginning of the season. We have many more dates and time to rack up those wins. A lot more opportunities that can come my way. No matter what, I will not keep my head down and sulk about the past.
I look forward to taking charge and ensuring that I see the story I started so long ago get a satisfying conclusion. I want gold, and I am going to do everything in my power to
(From behind, he gets attacked by Luis De La Rosa, followed by Roberto and Brianna Hill! Stomping him out, Kyra Phillip moved to the side as he continued the assault on Ryan! Roberto grabs Ryan, throwing him into the wall! Brianna mounts and strikes him while he is on the ground until Roberto calls for them to lift him.)
(Luis and Brianna lift him; Wilson is staggered, dazed, unsure what is happening! Before he could understand the situation, Brianna and Luis ran him into the TV monitor. Shattering the screen and leaving Wilson laid out.)

Deadprez: A very angry and deceiving young lady, we saw what she did last week in her first match after losing, and now it sets this up here.
Eve: She has the tools to be successful on Showdown, couple that with her bad attitude, you are talking about a stick of dynamite ready to explode.
Gavin Kirkland: Let us not forget that she caught the eye of her opponents, La Familia too!
(Raeangel sits on the top turnbuckle when her music fades and “Vroom” by Hoodie Allen & Connor Price starts to play instead to a chorus of cheers.)
Gina Romano: Her opponent! She hails from West Portland, Oregon! Weighing in at 120 Pounds! NIKKI KIMURA!!!
(Nikki Kimura smiles, high fives a few fans and runs to the ring, sliding in and glaring right at her opponent standing across from her.)
Deadprez: We are seeing what I feel is a new Nikki Kimura this season, more aggressive, more focused and she wants to make sure that Guzman understands that she cannot get away with what happened last week.
Eve: Agreed, these two are evenly matches and I look for a fast paced contest between two young women looking to cement their spots on this brand.
Gavin Kirkland: Girl on girl action! My favorite!
(Nikki and Raeangel look ready as the referee checks them both and calls for the bell.)

(The two competitors circle the ring, and are ready to lock up and – )
Deadprez: Guzman with an eye rake! She didn’t waste any time blinding her with the eye rake and Nikki is already blinded! Raeangel with forearm after forearm! It stuns Nikki backing her up to the ropes, Guzman whips her into the ropes, she goes for a clothesline, Nikki ducks, she bounces back, FLYING BODYPRESS!
Eve: Raeangel just kicked out of it quickly, but Nikki is back up, Guzman with the kip up, she turns and DROPKICK! Guzman is down! She is back up, another DROPKICK! Raeangel is wobbly to her feet, CLOTHESLINE OVER THE TOP ROPE AND GUZMAN CRASHES TO THE FLOOR!
Gavin Kirkland: I think Raeangel might have underestimated Nikki Kimura who last year didn’t have the best of seasons, but this season she has come running out of the gates and has something to prove! Guzman is back to her feet…. Wait….. SUICIDE PLANCHA BY NIKKI KIMURA! SHE JUST FLEW OVER THE TOP ROPE AND LANDED FLUSH ON RAEANGEL GUZMAN!
(The crowd cheers as Nikki Kimura gets back up and looks out to the them and screams in excitement as the crowd starts to cheer loudly.)
Eve: Nikki Kimura came to fight and she picks up Gusman by the hair, slamming her head at the apron! She grabs her now and throws Guzman back into the ring, Nikki hops on the apron and as Raeangle gets up…. FLYING CLOTHESLINE OFF THE TOP OF THE ROPES! She goes for the cover!

Deadprez: Raeangel kicks out! But Nikki Kimura is not wasting any time, get her back up to her feet, whipping Guzman against the ropes! She charges in, NO! She hit her flush on the face and has just changed the tide of the match!
Gabin Kirkland: She really has! Nikki is down and here comes Raeangel! She straddles Nikki and starts dropping fists on her! She is mad and doesn’t like what happened earlier! Guzman continues to lay the fists into Nikki as she tries to block them, but some are getting through!
(The referee tries to pull her off but starts the count…)
Referee: 1!…. 2!…. 3!…. 4!…..
(Guzman let’s go just as the referee was about to count five. She gets up and starts arguing with the referee, but he tells her to stop, or he will disqualify her.)
Deadprez: Nikki is shook right now dawg, and she is behind helped up by Raeangel who whips her against the ropes. NO! Nikki reverses and she charges in as Raeangel hits hard in the corner, NO! Nikki hits the corner as Raeangel moves out of the way, she runs into the buckle, springs off…. ESTAS FUERA! What a move by Raeangel and she just took Nikki out and goes for the cover!

Eve: She finally lets go and is up on her feet. That is a very angry young woman that wants to prove what she can do in the EAW and the Showdown brand, but the question now is, can she control herself! Can she focus on the match because it seems right now that she is having issues trying to focus!
(Raeangel is pacing around as Nikki is trying to catch her breath, she waits as Nikki slowly gets up, getting right behind her – )
Deadprez: BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX! NIKKI LANDS HARD ON HER BACK AND NECK BUT RAEANGLE IS ON THE HUNT! SHE ISN’T DONE! She climbs up to the top rope, and hits THE DOUBLE FOOT STOMP KNOCKING ALL THE AIR OUT OF NIKKI! She goes for the cover!

Gavin Kirkland: She gets her shoulder up at the last second! Raeangel is beside herself, but she turns Nikki over and locks in the Bow and Arrow! She slaps the sides of Nikki causing her arms to spring back! Raeangel hooks the arms…. And lifts her up! How painful is this move!
(Nikki screams in pain as she is being held up in the air by the painful move. The referee is right there to ask her bus she shakes her head, screaming in pain. Raeangel is making sure that the move is debilitating and there is nothing that she can do about it.)
Eve: This is one of those moves that if Raeangel can lay Nikki on her knees and apply the Dragon Sleeper, we could be seeing the end of the match! Raeangel is really controlling this right now and there is nothing that she can do right now! It might be over!
(Nikki is still shaking her head, but Raeangel now drops Nikki to her knees and wrenches back, she applies the Sleeper hold and now Nikki is struggling to get out of the hold. The crowd starts to boo when suddenly – )
Eve: What the hell are they doing out here!? It’s La Familia!
(La Familia slowly walks out, Roberto and Luis De La Rosa, and Brianna Hill. They are in the entrance way and seem to be paying attention to Raeangel Guzman.)
Deadprez: We saw them be impressed with Guzman last week after the six person match, and now they are here again paying close attention to her and what she is doing to Kimura, slowly dissecting the young Japanese talent from Oregon. The question is, could this be it for Raeangel? I don’t know, but one thing is for sure, this can’t last much longer!
Gavin Kirkland: No, it cannot! It looks like Nikki is fading, she is slowly falling and that might be the end for her as the referee is now lifting her arm….
Referee: ONE!
Gavin Kirkland: It drops! Will it drop again!

Gavin Kirkland: The arm drops a second time, if it drops one more that is it!

Gavin Kirkland: NO! She is holding on and listen to the fans! They are cheering Nikki on as she tries to break free using whatever strength she has left and…. Oh! AN EYE RAKE! Playing fire with fire and Raeangel let’s go! She has been able to withs and the onslaught of Guzman, but the damage may have been done!
(Guzman tries to get her sight back, but she gets back up as Nikki is trying to get up to her feet but her neck and back is sore, Raeangel is able to get back to her feet and she charges into Nikki Kimura – )
Deadprez: SUPERKICK! GUZMAN RAN RIGHT INTO THAT STIFF KICK AND SHE IS NOW SHE DOWN! THIS TIME NIKKI CLIMBS THE TOP ROPE! SHE IS UP AND…. DOUBLE FOOT STOMP! THE SAME THING THAT RAEANGEL DID TO HER EARLIER AND NIKKI HOOKS THE LEGS FOR THE COVER!

(The crowd boos as Luis De La Rosa is now beating down Nikki Kimura as is Brianna Hill after she released the hold. Raeangel Guzman pushes them out of the way and drops on Nikki starting to choke her out as she kicks her legs up and down.)
Deadprez: LA FAMILIA SHOWED UP AND ACTUALLY HELPED RAEANGEL GUZMAN! SHE MUST’VE IMPRESSED THEM LAST WEEK WITH HER ANTICS AND NOW THEY ARE BEATING THE HELL OUT OF NIKKI KIMURA!
Eve: I DON’T KNOW IF RAEANGLE IS PART OF LA FAMILIA BUT SHE SURE IS A PERSON OF INTEREST TO THEM! THE YOUNG WOMAN IS MAKING SURE THAT NIKKI KIMURA DOESN’T GET BACK UP!

(Raeangel signals for Brianna and Luis to pick up Nikki Kimura, as they do by the arms, Guzman rolls out of the ring and grabs a chair, she then slides back in standing over Nikki who is barely conscious, she lifts the chair up…)
Deadprez: SHE IS ABOUT TO SPLATTER HER BRAINS EVERYWHERE!

(Suddenly Olé by The Bouncing Souls starts to play throughout the arena as the crowd explodes, Ryan Wilson runs out with a chair in his hand.)
Deadprez: HE JUST RAN OVER ROBERTO DE LA ROSA AS HE HEADS TO THE RING!
Gavin Kirkland: HERE COMES RYAN WILSON! HE HAS A CHAIR IN HAND AND AFTER HE WAS ATTACKED EARLIER, HE IS RUNNING OUT HERE TO MAKE THE SAVE!
(Raeangel Guzman drops the chair and hops out of the ring, Brianna and Luis follow suit letting go of Nikki who collapses to the mat. Ryan slides in but the assailants have already escaped.)
Eve: RYAN IS IN THE RING WITH A CHAIR! THEY HAVE CLEARED OUT AND HE MAKES THE SAFE!
Deadprez: AFTER WHAT HAPPENED EARLIER, RYAN WASN’T HAVING ANY OF IT! WE WILL BE RIGHT BACK!
(Ryan checks on Nikki who nods, he then looks right at Guzman and La Familia who are backing up in the entranceway making their way to the back as it cuts to a commercial break.)
(The camera returns to the ring and there is complete silence for a moment before ‘Unfuckwittable ‘ by Kid Cudi starts playing throughout the arena. A few seconds later, Jon Kelton makes his way out onto the entrance ramp to cheers from the crowd. It looks like he has something on his mind as he heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time “THE LAST HOPE” JON KELTON!
Eve: Here comes Jon Kelton heading to the ring and it looks like it’s very important because Jon doesn’t look like he’s going to be playing around.
Gavin Kirkland: Knowing Kelton, he’s probably going to come out here and whine and complain about something that nobody cares about. Blah blah blah. Big deal. He lost to SOSA Henderson last week and he just needs to get over it.
Deadprez: Good gawd. Will you be nice for once? Kelton did lose last week to SOSA, yes, but it was via COUNT OUT! The only way that SOSA got that countout win was from the use of underhanded tactics that he used to get the upper hand. Now, Gavin, hopefully you can be quiet and respectful long enough so we can hear what Kelton has to say.
(Kelton walks by the timekeeper’s area and grabs a microphone from Gina Romano before he enters the ring. He lets the crowd cheer for a moment longer before his entrance music fades off. The crowd starts to die down before Kelton begins to speak.)
Jon Kelton: Look, there has been something on my mind for a very long time and I need to get it off my chest. There has been something I have been wanting for many years and that is to finally finish my own story. I need to finish my own story so I can finally realize my dream of becoming a World Champion.
(The crowd starts to cheer again. Sure, the crowd and Kelton have had a tumultuous relationship over the years, but the crowd does respect his persistence and his determination to realize his dream.)
Jon Kelton: But I understand that I have been taking one beating after another for a while now and there have been a few… alright more like a lot of things that really didn’t go my way as we reached the end of the season.
Jon Kelton: But this time? This time I find myself staying on Showdown after the Draft and Showdown is my HOME!
(The crowd continues to cheer because Jon Kelton has been on Showdown for numerous seasons and he has certainly become a mainstay on Showdown. Kelton offers a smile in appreciation to the fans before he continues to speak.)
Jon Kelton: But there are a few things I need to do first. One is that I have shown time and time again that I have all the talent in the world to get the job done, so I need to get out of my own head and just go at it in a way that I know that I can.
Jon Kelton: What I need to do is find that spark that I am missing. I mean I already know that I can… I just need to figure out how to get it.
(A few seconds after Kelton finished his sentence, “My War” by Shinsei Kamattechan starts playing throughout the arena. Seconds later, the cheers start to pick up as Bronson Daniels enters the arena. Kelton looks up the ramp and is a little surprised that Bronson is here. Bronson has the same look that Kelton had when he made his entrance as he makes his way to the ring.)
Deadprez: Well this is an interesting development we have going on right now. Here comes Bronson Daniels heading down to the ring and I was not expecting to see Bronson right now, but it’s nice to see him. Last week, he teamed with Milli Banks against Donovan Duke and the Answers World Champion TLA which ended in a no contest thanks to all the interference.
Gavin Kirkland: Why in the hell is Bronson Daniels here? Keep him as far away from us as possible. He’s already screwed up one show and the last thing we want is for him to mess up this show too.
Eve: You know you can be such an asshole sometimes, Gavin. How could you be so rude like that? That kind of shit is the last thing Bronson needs to hear. He already feels bad enough and he is looking to get back on track with his career. This is a brand new season for him, so shut the fuck up, Gavin.
(Bronson has made his way to ringside as he also grabs a microphone from Gina Romano before he enters the ring. When he gets in the ring, he stands across from Kelton as his entrance music fades off and the crowd quiets.)
Bronson Daniels: Jon, I am not coming out here to start any trouble with you or anything. I am just out here to tell you that I know exactly how you feel. Because of me and what happened at Pain for Pride, Dynasty is now under the MAGA rule of that Southern Dumbbell and the Dusty Old Fart.
(The crowd starts to boo loudly at the mention of the new management of Dynasty… that NOBODY likes. Bronson nods in agreement before he continues speaking.)
Bronson Daniels: Not only that, Diamond and Tyrone are now wrestling over on Voltage instead of being part of management on Dynasty where they rightfully belong! I share the same sentiment as the crowd and let me tell you that it’s NOT FAIR! But the only person that anyone can blame is me.
Bronson Daniels: Just like you, I too have to find my way and I just don’t know how to find it. But what I do know is that we have this in common.
(Jon nods in acknowledgement with what Bronson had to say. It’s true that both men are on similar journeys, but there is one big difference between the two.)
Jon Kelton: Okay. That might be true, but you are a former World Champion. You have made it to the top of the mountain, man. But I haven’t. Then again, I do have an idea in mind.
Bronson Daniels: What exactly do you have in mind?
Jon Kelton: It’s simple! How about this? You… against me… AT MIDSUMMER MASSACRE!
Jon Kelton: Before you answer, let me explain something. At Midsummer Massacre, it won’t be just any regular singles match. That’s because I NEED to face someone like you.
(Bronson has a very intrigued look on his face as he wonders what kind of match that Kelton has in mind.)
Jon Kelton: So how about this? Instead of this being a regular run of the mill singles match, let’s make this match a little more interesting. I was thinking about making it… A THIRTY MINUTE IRONMAN MATCH!
(The crowd started cheering again with the thought of this high profile match possibly happening. To top it off, the stakes have been raised with it now possibly being an Ironman Match. That certainly has Bronson’s attention.)
Jon Kelton: So what do you say, Bronson? Do you accept my challenge for Midsummer Massacre?
(Kelton holds out his hand for a handshake as Bronson looks at it for a moment contemplating what he wants to do. The crowd wants him to accept, but does Bronson want to?)
Bronson Daniels: You know what, Kelton? I accept! You and me in an Ironman match at Midsummer Massacre.
(Bronson reaches out and returns the handshake and the crowd’s cheers get even louder as the challenge has been accepted for Midsummer Massacre.)
Eve: Ladies and gentlemen, I think it is now safe to say that we have one more match that has been made official for the Midsummer Massacre. Bronson Daniels and Jon Kelton will go one on one in not just any match, but at THIRTY MINUTE IRONMAN MATCH!
Gavin Kirkland: You mean we have to sit and watch the show wrecker and the neverending story wrestle each other for thirty minutes? Aren’t we so lucky? Can’t we have two of the lovely ladies of Showdown wrestle for thirty minutes?
Eve: I don’t even know what to do with you because you are being such an asshole right now! Bronson Daniels and Jon Kelton are two Showdown stars who are wanting to get their careers either back on track or to the next level. I don’t see anything wrong with that.
Deadprez: Two amazing competitors who are going to have to endure thirty straight minutes. It is going to be a very interesting and great match to watch. Deadprez: Here comes a fast rising star in Cody Maverick heading to the ring for his first Showdown match of the season.
Gavin Kirkland: Every time I hear Sin City it puts a smile on my face. The lights. The glamor. The excitement. I miss those brothels.
Eve: You are sickening. But last week, we found out that Cody Maverick will be taking on Ruler at Midsummer Massacre. What a match it will be between these two young stars, but tonight, Cody needs to keep his eyes on a former Champion who is looking to get back on top.
(Cody enters the ring and takes his corner as his entrance music is quickly replaced by “GOSSIP” by Maneskin. The crowd reaction immediately goes negative as Aria Lestrade enters the arena. She doesn’t look too amused as she makes her way to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing his opponent! From Chandler, Arizona! Weighing 110 pounds! Here is “THE PARIAH” ARIA LESTRADE!
Gavin Kirkland: Here comes the beautiful Aria Lestrade heading to the ring. She might be a little crazy, but I kinda like it.
Eve: Of course you would. Anyways, last week we got a more in depth look at Aria Lestrade and she is looking to save the world… in her eyes.
Deadprez: Aria’s true colors came to the surface and now she is looking to become Champion again this season. She couldn’t get the win against Donovan Duke at the Draft Show, but maybe she will turn it around tonight. Who will win? We are about to find out!
(Aria has a scowl on her face as she enters the ring and takes her corner while her entrance music fades off. The referee begins checking the competitors, but as the ref is checking Cody, Aria doesn’t waste a second as she runs over and begins attacking Cody which leaves the referee with no choice but to ring the bell.)

Eve: To say the least, this match is underway and Aria just chose to not wait until the bell rang to get things started as she leaped over the referee AND IS JUST POUNDING ON CODY!
Deadprez: The bell has just rang and the referee is already going to have a hell of a time keeping control of this match. The referee is telling Aria to let Cody out of the corner. Aria is still beating on Cody and the referee starts a count.
Gavin Kirkland: The referee reaches four and pulls Aria off of Cody and towards the middle of the ring. The referee is telling poor Aria to not start this crap early–
Deadprez: ARIA JUST CRAWLED THROUGH THE REFEREE’S LEGS AND WENT BACK TO POUNDING ON CODY IN THE CORNER! The referee is going to be in for a long match at this rate.
Eve: The referee once again is telling Aria to let Cody out of the corner. It hasn’t even been a minute and Aria might already be on thin ice. The referee is starting another count–
Gavin Kirkland: THE REFEREE DOESN’T START THE COUNT AS CODY JUST CLOCKS POOR ARIA IN THE MOUTH WITH A RIGHT HAND AND THAT KNOCKS ARIA STAGGERING BACK!

Deadprez: He will have no issue doing that as you can see that Cody is still throwing those right hands into the side of Aria’s head and Aria is being backed into the ropes. Cody whips Aria to the ropes.
Gavin Kirkland: Aria comes back and Cody grabs Aria AND ARIA MANAGES TO COUNTER WITH A HEADSCISSOR TAKEOVER AND THAT SENDS CODY ACROSS THE RING! Cody is getting back to his feet as Aria leaves hers–
Eve: MODIFIED LARIAT BY ARIA AND SHE CAUGHT CODY ACROSS THE THROAT! Cody was taken off his feet and to the mat as Aria is in control this early in the match.
Deadprez: Aria does have the experience edge in this match and she needs to keep Cody off of his feet as much as she can to counteract the power advantage Cody has over her. Right now, Aria is not giving Cody a moment to breathe.
Gavin Kirkland: The beautiful Aria is putting the boots to Cody right now. She is trying to make a statement in this match. She thinks that she can further her cause if she beats the shiny new toy on Showdown so to speak.
Deadprez: Cody manages to get back to his feet AND HE HAS HOLD OF ARIA’S BOOT! ARIA IS BOUNCING AROUND ON ONE LEG AND SHE TRIES TO COUNTER WITH AN ENZUIGIRI KICK–
Eve: CODY AVOIDS THE BOOT AND NOW HE HAS BOTH OF ARIA’S LEGS! Aria uses her hands to push herself up into the wheelbarrow position as best as she can, BUT CODY COUNTERS!
Gavin Kirkland: CODY JUST THROWS ARIA DOWN AND ARIA GOES FACE FIRST INTO THE MAT! COME ON, CODY! DON’T MESS UP HER PRETTY FACE!
Eve: Pretty face, but a really crappy attitude. She is holding her nose in pain as Cody easily picks her back up and brings her to her feet. Cody wraps an arm around his neck AS HE LIFTS HER UP IN THE AIR AND DROPS HER WITH A BACK SUPLEX!
Deadprez: Aria lands hard on her neck and the back of her head. She is feeling the effects of the suplex, but Cody brings her back to her feet once again. Cody picks up Aria and has her in the slam position—
Gavin Kirkland: ARIA HAS THE EYES! ARIA IS CLAWING AT CODY’S EYES! CODY LETS OUT A YELP OF PAIN AS ARIA IS ABLE TO SPIN OUT AND COUNTER WITH A MODIFIED TORNADO DDT!
Eve: Now it’s Cody’s turn to kiss the mat. Aria has a handful of Cody’s hair AND SHE IS BOUNCING CODY’S FACE OFF THE MAT! She still has a handful of hair AND SHE BOUNCES HIS FACE OFF THE MAT AGAIN!
Deadprez: The referee once again reprimands Aria for the handfuls of hair and they start another count. Aria bounces Cody’s face off the mat once more before the referee reaches a count of four and she lets go.
Gavin Kirkland: The referee has it out for Aria or something. She is just misunderstood if you ask me and I would be more than happy to console her and make her feel better.
Deadprez: You can stay right here and Aria’s cheap trick gives her the advantage once more. Cody is trying to recover as Aria hits the ropes. Cody is still on his knees as Aria comes back–
Eve: ARIA WITH THE DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER! ARIA DRIVES HER KNEES INTO CODY’S FACE AND HE FALLS BACK ON THE MAT! That could have knocked a few teeth out as Aria hits the ropes again.
Gavin Kirkland: Aria comes back AND THIS TIME SHE HITS A RUNNING VERSION OF THE SHOOTING STAR PRESS! DIRECT HIT AS ARIA QUICKLY HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER!

Eve: Leave it to Gavin to try and get a date when they are in pain. But Aria is in a huge mess of trouble as Cody sends her into the corner. Cody backs up AS HE RUNS FULL SPEED TO GET SOME MOMENTUM–
Deadprez: DIVING CORNER CLOTHESLINE BY CODY MAVERICK! Aria comes stumbling out of the corner AND CODY IS RIGHT THERE WITH A JAB TO THE JAW!
Gavin Kirkland: Aria is on spaghetti legs AS CODY THROWS ANOTHER JAB! AND THEN HE THROWS ANOTHER JAB! REF! THOSE ARE ILLEGAL!! STOP HIM!
Deadprez: I think he stopped on his own free will AS HE FOLLOWS UP THE JABS WITH A DISCUS CLOTHESLINE! THAT SHOT JUST TURNED ARIA INSIDE OUT BEFORE SHE HITS THE CANVAS!
Eve: Cody brings Aria back on her feet and has a facelock applied BEFORE HE TAKES HER DOWN WITH A SWINGING NECKBREAKER! Aria is down once again and Cody drags her towards the center of the ring and goes for the cover!

Deadprez: ARIA LANDS ON HER FEET AND SHE GRABS ANOTHER HANDFUL OF HAIR AND MANAGES TO SLAM CODY BACK ON THE MAT! Listen to the crowd just let Aria have it after that cheap trick.
Gavin Kirkland: Aria takes a little bow. You earned it! Take a moment to be proud of your handiwork. Now Aria leaves the ring and is now on the apron.
Eve: Aria doesn’t waste a second before she jumps onto the top rope AND HITS THE SPRINGBOARD LEG DROP! LEG GOES RIGHT ACROSS THE THROAT! Cody rolls onto his stomach to prevent an easy cover and that is smart ring awareness by the rookie Maverick.
Deadprez: Cody’s not exactly a rookie any longer after the amazing performance he had at Pain for Pride. Right now, Aria once again grabs Cody by the hair and the referee is once again admonishing Aria. Talk all you want to Aria, there’s nobody home!
Gavin Kirkland: That’s not very nice, Prezzy! Aria has used the hair to pull Cody into the corner as he is still feeling the effects of the leg drop from earlier. Aria has Cody in position as he is sitting in the corner AND SHE IS USING HER BOOT TO CHOKE CODY IN THE CORNER!
Deadprez: ANOTHER CHEAP TRICK BY THE FORMER SPECIALISTS CHAMPION AND SHE IS ONCE AGAIN BEING REPRIMANDED BY THE REFEREE BEFORE THEY ONCE AGAIN START A COUNT!
Eve: Aria stops choking on four before she risked disqualification on five. She might be pushing her luck right now and she is getting in the referee’s face. Is she asking to lose this match?
Gavin Kirkland: She’s got an attitude and I love it. Aria backs away to the opposite corner BEFORE RUNNING FULL SPEED TO CODY! ARIA ROLLS FORWARD AS SHE LOOKS FOR THE CANNONBALL SENTON–
Eve: NOBODY HOME OFF THE CANNONBALL SENTON! CODY ROLLED OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND AND ARIA CRASHES AND BURNS IN THE CORNER! WHAT AN UGLY LANDING FOR ARIA!
Deadprez: That miscue by Aria does give Cody enough time to get a breather as he is back on his feet and grabs Aria before she gets any chance to recover. He now brings Aria back on her feet before putting her in a facelock.
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t know what Cody has planned, but I don’t like it. Cody lifts Aria and she now has her feet on the top rope with the facelock still applied. I don’t like this one bit.

Eve: Another underhanded tactic by Aria Lestrade. Aria is still up in the air as she gets in the position she wants. Aria is sitting on Cody’s shoulders BEFORE SHE FALLS BACK WITH ALL HER MIGHT–

Eve: While she is throwing a temper tantrum and a hissy fit towards the referee, she is giving Cody way too much time to get his wits about him… LIKE WITH WHAT WE ARE SEEING RIGHT NOW!
Gavin Kirkland: Aria? ARIA!?!?! TURN AROUND! CODY IS BACK ON HIS FEET! CODY DOES NOT LOOK HAPPY! Aria still has her attention on the referee as CODY HITS THE ROPES–

Gavin Kirkland: All she was doing was trying to win the match. Right now she grabs Cody and whips him to the corner. Cody hits the turnbuckle and Aria backs up to the opposite side. Aria comes out of the corner AND FLIPS TOWARDS CODY AND HITS THE HANDSPRING ELBOW!
Deadprez: Aria quickly runs back to the opposite corner as Cody comes stumbling out. ARIA RUNS AT FULL SPEED AGAIN AND CLOBBERS CODY WITH A CLAYMORE STYLE KICK!
Eve: Cody is down and Aria drags him into position. Aria goes out onto the apron once more as Cody is not moving. ARIA SPRINGS TO THE TOP ROPE AND GOES FOR A 450 SPLASH–

Gavin Kirkland: The beautiful Aria hits the ropes and comes back. Cody puts his head down for another back body drop attempt, BUT ARIA JUMPS OVER CODY AND IS NOW SITTING ON HIS BACK!
Eve: Aria wraps her legs around Cody’s waists AND SNAPS FORWARD BEFORE TAKING HIM DOWN WITH A SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB! CODY’S HEAD SNAPS AGAINST THE CANVAS!
Deadprez: Aria tried for a cover but Cody was able to roll through and prevented a pinfall attempt. Both competitors have made it back to his feet, but Aria was a little bit faster AND SHE MANAGES TO HIT A SHINING WIZARD TO CODY’S TEMPLE!
Gavin Kirkland: Cody falls back and Aria is back on her feet AS SHE ATTEMPTS A BEAUTIFUL STANDING MOONSAULT, BUT CODY MANAGED TO GET HIS KNEES UP AND DRIVES THEM INTO HER RIBS!
Deadprez: She is holding her ribs in pain as Cody gets back to his feet AND HE FIRES A ROLLING ELBOW THAT SENDS ARIA STUMBLING INTO THE ROPES! Aria comes back from the ropes and CODY LIFTS HER UP AND DROPS HER WITH AN INVERTED ATOMIC DROP!

Eve: That isn’t it for Aria. She is calling for Cody to get back to his feet. She wants to finish this match once and for all as Cody is stirring.
Gavin Kirkland: Cody has finally made it back to his feet AND ARIA RUNS AT FULL SPEED TO FINISH THE MATCH WITH HER “GOD SHATTERING STAR” FINISHING MOVE–
Deadprez: CODY DUCKED DOWN AND HE AVOIDED THE BUSAIKU KNEE STRIKE! ARIA JUST LANDS HARD AND CRASHES BACK FIRST ONTO THE MAT!
Gavin Kirkland: POOR ARIA! But Aria is trying to recover as she gets back to her feet. Cody grabs her and whips her to the ropes, BUT ARIA HITS THE HANDSPRING AND BOUNCES OFF THE ROPES AS SHE TRIES FOR THE “ZIRCON INJECTION”–

(‘Show of Hands’ starts playing again as Cody rolls off of Aria before quickly scrambling out of the ring. Aria has a look of shock on her face as Gina Romano announces the final decision of the match.)
Gina Romano: Here is your winner… CODY MAVERICK!
Deadprez: What a match we just saw between two amazing competitors. That match could have gone either way, but it was the upstart Cody Maverick who stands tall. Some people might call that an upset victory.
Eve: It might be because of the fact that Aria is a former Specialists Champion, but with the record of performances he has had, I wouldn’t call it an upset. Cody did get some momentum as he heads to Midsummer Massacre.
(Cody is outside the ring and the referee is raising his arm in victory as Aria is still sitting in the ring, completely dumbfounded with what happened. Cody has a smile on his face as he soaks in the victory as he heads up the entrance ramp and leaves the ringside area.)
Gavin Kirkland: Are you sure that was a three count? That might have been a fast count. Was her shoulder up?
Eve: No, Gavin. She fought her hardest, but she was caught off the ball for a brief second and that turned into her untimely downfall.
(Aria is still sitting in the ring before she snaps out of her shocked state and literally SNAPS in the middle of the ring. Aria begins screaming and pounding her fists into the mat before rolling out of the ring. She shoves Gina Romano away and grabs a steel chair before screaming and throwing it against the steel ring steps and she leaves the ringside area.)
Gavin Kirkland: Oh my poor Aria. I hate seeing her so angry and acting like this. I think she needs a big hug and someone to make her feel better after this match. Don’t worry, Aria. Gavin is here for you. She tried so hard in this match. She should have won.
Eve: She doesn’t need a hug. She needs a meeting with the staff psychiatrist since this season has not got off to the greatest of starts. Sometimes things like this happen and there’s nothing you can do about it except move on and get ready for the next match.
Deadprez: Well whether she likes it or not, Cody Maverick is the one who pulls off the victory here on Showdown. Congratulations once again to Cody on the win.
(The final shot shows Aria heading up the ramp going absolutely BALLISTIC that she lost the match and she is storming up the entrance ramp and heading to the back as the camera cuts elsewhere.)
(The screen fades backstage where Kyra Phillips is seen standing with a mic in hand behind a screen with the Showdown logo as she looks at the camera with a big confident smile before speaking into the mic.)
Kyra Phillips: We have had a great Showdown so far as Showdown elitists continue to show that they’re bringing new attitudes, new moves, and even more dedication than before in this new season. One man who exemplifies the new season is none other than Mr. Cash In The Vault himself, Donovan Duke.

(The camera slowly reveals standing next to Kyra Phillips is none other than Donovan Duke as he has his wrestling gear on ready for his match against Charlie Marr later tonight while holding his Cash In The Vault contract with him. Kyra Phillips: Well let’s get this one out of the way shall we? How are you feeling being back on Showdown since your last time here before you were drafted over to the Voltage brand?
Donovan Duke: Well Kyra, that’s a good question right there because last time that I was here on the Showdown brand I was holding championship gold as the EAW National Champion which we know how well that went. I’m very glad to be back here, it feels like home, and best believe that I intend to continue things where I left off before leaving to Voltage; on the road to becoming a world champion for the first time here in EAW! If I could do what I did for the EAW National Championship for a world championship, I believe people will stop underestimating yours truly, and realize just how talented Donovan Duke truly is!
Donovan Duke: I know that the competition is quite fierce over there on Showdown as we have some of the best elitists in this brand, I mean just look at everybody lining up to try and take on TLA for his EAW Answers World Championship; a lot of elitists with the same target. (Showdown changed scenes and it quickly faded this time towards Kennedy’s office, she was behind her desk as usual, watching the show over on the television while AJAX surprisingly did her favor by painting her nails.)

(This cute little moment is very much interrupted when the door to the office is suddenly slammed open, and one woman ends up walking through, that of course being none other than Aria Lestrade, she was surprisingly in a very good mood as the face mask for this day was that full of the colors of the rainbow. Eve: The match is on its way as both Donovan Duke and Charlie Marr stare each other down. Quickly, both men go for a lock up as they are attempting to get the advantage over their opponent here tonight, but Donovan Duke is able to out grapple Charlie Marr here tonight as he effortlessly puts Charlie in a headlock!
Deadprez: Now a headlock is a pretty basic move, but it can quickly turn to something REAL nasty if you can’t outmaneuver your way out of one as Charlie Marr does here by PUSHING Donovan Duke towards the ropes with him before using his strength to Irish Whip him to the other side as Donovan Bounces back and is met with a GNARLY elbow to the face!
Gavin Kirkland: Down on the mat goes Donovan Duke as Charlie Marr yells for Donovan to get back up on his feet. In quick fashion, Donovan gets back up as both men start trading blows back and forth trying to be the one elitists that can throw the strongest blow to knock their opponent down! Best believe both these men want the sweet victory here tonight as both these men are World Champion contenders; one by having that Cash In The Vault contract with them and the other earning it by showing our champion TLA last week in the main event that Charlie Marr is still the man to beat!
Eve: “Earning” is a funny word to use for the attack Charlie Marr unleashed on TLA last week that would grant him a chance to dethrone TLA, but if he can beat Donovan Duke here tonight some people may think he DOES deserve this championship match especially after throwing yet another nasty elbow to the face of Donovan Duke that leaves him dazed.
Deadprez: Dazed and confusing leaving just the opening that Charlie needed to take down Donovan Duke with a Snap Suplex of his own down on the ma- Looks like our boy Donovan Duke here using his wrestling background to stop the Snap Suplex just in time and quickly turns it into a German Suplex of his own! Right on the back of his neck… Yet Charlie is able to quickly get back up with minimum damage! WOW! Now that right there is a freak of nature awwww yeah that’s exactly what we came to see ladies and gentlemen!
Gavin Kirkland: Charlie Marr telling Donovan Duke that he wants more as Donovan quickly tries to take down Charlie with a classic wrestling takedown, Charlie though ready as he always is with a NASTY knee right to the face that grounds Donovan Duke for a minute as Charlie Marr now mounts himself on top of Donovan and starts wailing down on him punch after punch not wasting a single second!
Eve: Just showcasing his brawling style that he’s been known for utilizing which clearly has been working perfectly against a more technical grappler in Donovan Duke, but it seems Charlie might have gotten a bit too confident as Donovan is able to grab onto one of Charlie’s arms to turn him around. Gavin Kirkland: Not wasting anytime now that Charlie is fully down, Donovan Duke quickly starts to pick up Charlie Marr as he sets him up for a beautiful Running Powerslam near the top right corner as Donovan drops him down on the mat and makes his way to the top top before he goes for another Moonsault!
Eve: Charlie moves out of the way last second as Donovan hits nothing but the ring mat! Charlie Marr slowly picks himself up all thanks to the ropes that he used for assistance as he slowly approaches the downed Donovan Duke, starts to pick him up, and sets him up for a Powerslam of his own as the Front Powerslam connects effectively laying Donovan down on the mat! Charlie ain’t done just yet though as he once again picks up Donovan as quickly as he can before running the ropes and laying Donovan Duke down on the mat once again with a stiff Big Boot right on the face as Charlie goes for the cover right after putting his feet on the ropes!!!

Deadprez: He may be working smarter, but hard work always shows up when talent doesn’t show out and we could see Donovan Duke pick up the win… I mean if he was able to execute that NASTY spinning backfist that almost took out Charlie, realistically pal the he can out work Charlie, and especially if it becomes a grapple for grapple of as Charlie gets back inside the ring after the quick break as he starts throwing some stiff kicks at Donovan to slowly make him stand up as each stiff kick slowly starts to motivate Donovan Duke more than hurt him as Charlie tries to go for another Shoot Kick…

The bait works as Charlie grabs onto one of the legs of Donovan that causes him to let go of the Boston Crab as Donovan tries to stomp out Charlie, but is quickly taken down with an Arm Drag from Charlie Marr! OHHHHHH MAN these boys are hooping tonight as that Arm Drag didn’t fully take down Donovan Duke, though Charlie is able to put Donovan down on the mat with a Running Knee right to his face! Awww man it ain’t ever a good sign when Charlie Marr starts targeting that head with his brawling style lemme tell you all that just now…
Eve: Now ain’t that the truth, the best thing to do is to avoid Charlie ever targeting your head at all costs, but right now it seems unavoidable as Charlie is looking to hit a Knee Drop right on Donovan’s head… Donovan moves out of the way last minute however as he runs the ropes trying to gain enough momentum to connect with a Lariat on Charlie, yet Charlie dodges out of the way and used Donovan’s own momentum against him as he turns that missed Lariat from Donovan into “Tranquility” as the Rear Naked Choke Hold submission hold gets locked in and the once standing Donovan Duke is now on his back being choked out as we speak!!!

Eve: He STAYS up as not just a regular Vertical Suplex, but a Delayed Vertical Suplex showing that while he may be a bit smaller than the average EAW elitits he’s got that country strength and the confidence of a gambler on a lucky streak because he’s clearly gambling on himself to pick up the win here tonight as Donovan drops Charlie down after a couple of seconds up in the air! Both Kassidy and Sienna are receiving their championship, watching Veena Adams steal their thunder after the assault on Roberto. Veena lowers the title, then Jaded Hearts’ theme is replaced with ‘7 Rings’ by Ariana Grande as the camera focuses on Veena Adams flaunting her title above Roberto’s lifeless body while the Jaded Hearts keep an eye on the scene. )
Gavin Kirkland: Truly a statement delivered loud and clear by Veena Adams, showing she’s ready for what Roberto asked for at the Midsummer Massacre! But let’s not forget, this main event victory belongs to Jaded Hearts. Hats off to the greatest tag team of all time as well!
( Veena looks at both Jaded Hearts members while leaving the ring, raising the title yet again, watching Roberto busted open after taking a harsh title shot directly to his head. Roberto is sprawled on the ground, looking up at Veena while the Jaded Hearts just watch everything unfold before their eyes. The scene then fades into the last commercial break. )
(As the camera fades back from the last commercial break, ‘Ambitionz az a Ridah’ by Tupac starts to play throughout the arena. The fans get up to their feet and cheer as the Answers World Champion makes his way to the ring, he looks out to the crowd and points before heading into the ring and raising the title up in the air.)
Deadprez: The champion is here, and we saw what Charlie Marr did last week, and this is definitely going to be addressed as I know that TLA has been waiting an entire week to do so.
Eve: I don’t think it was very surprising that Charlie Marr was the first to go after TLA, we are talking about the former EAW World Champion and Cash in the Vault winner, and Charlie is now reunited with Veena Adams.
Gavin Kirkland: Want to talk about the dirtiest player in the game, that would be Charlie Marr. And TLA knows that his Answers World Championship is in danger.
(TLA is in the ring, he looks out to the and raises the title up as they cheer even louder, with a mic in hand, the music slowly dies down as he then begins to speak.)

TLA: Gracias for the warm reception, but we got a lot of work to do here. Eve: He is angry, and most of all determined to be Showdown’s number one wrestler and there isn’t a thing that anyone is going to say or do about it, talk about dangerous, that is the man that will do whatever it takes to get there.

(Charlie Marr gets to the ring, he has a mic in hand and gets righty up to TLA as they both stare at one another. The music fades.)
