(EAW intro plays)
(Showdown opens up with a recap of The Last Stand. Milli Banks defeats KASAI to retain the Universal Women’s Championship. Harper Lee defeats SOSA Henderson and Donovan Duke to qualify for the EEC. Nikki Kimura defeats Raeangel Guzman. Roberto de la Rosa defeats Luis de la Rosa and Brianna Hill to qualify for the EEC. Miku Sakai defeats Auburn Ware but Auburn attacks her and lays her out after the match. At different points of the night, Ryan Wilson and Ruler fight across New York before finally, Ruler defeats Ryan Wilson. Veena Adams defeats Cody Maverick to retain the National Elite Championship, but after the match, Miku suddenly attacks Veena, and due to this, SOSA Henderson sees his opportunity, he rushes in, cashes in his 24/7 Contract and after an incredibly close match, SOSA defeats Veena and becomes the new National Elite Champion. And in the main event, The Jaded Hearts retain the Unified Tag Team Championships against Elysium and Charlie Marr and TLA.)
(The recap ends, and it is replaced with the song “Brick Wall” by a Day to Remember, as the camera pans around the inside of the Centre Bell in Montreal, Quebec. Fireworks are shooting out of the stage and the whole crowd can be seen cheering and being excited for the show. The camera ends up panning over to the commentary table with Deadprez, Eve and Gavin Kirkland as the commentators start talking.)
Eve: WELCOME EVERYONE… TO SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN!
Deadprez: WE ARE COMING OFF AN AMAZING SHOW AT THE LAST STAND, FOR WE ARE NOW IN ROUTE TO NOTHING ELSE OTHER THAN ROAD TO REDEMPTION!
Eve: BUT FOR TONIGHT, WE HAVE A LOT OF MATCHES TO LOOK FORWARD TO! We have Raeangel Guzman going against TJ Alexander, Voltage vs Showdown as Chiyo Gedo faces Luis de la Rosa, and Harper Lee faces Roberto de la Rosa!
Deadprez: We will also see Charlie Marr go against Miku Sakai, and in the main event, number one contendership for the National Elite Championship on the line! Ryan Wilson, Donovan Duke and Cody Maverick duke it out there!
Gavin Kirkland: ENOUGH TALKING! LET’S GO STRAIGHT INTO THE SHOW!
(The camera shifts backstage as the crowd cheers when they see Milli Banks talking to Kennedy Street right outside the Gorilla Position. The camera can pick up their conversation as Milli is in her street clothes not booked for tonight.)
Kennedy Street: Yes, Milli you were awesome at The Last Stand, but as you have been hearing honey through the grapevine, it is that Kennie has been talking to Kensi and Richard who have been awfully nice and in a good mood since the Election on Tuesday, and Captain Charisma also showed interest and we have decided that yes, you will defend the Universal Women’s Championship at Road To Redemption inside the Extreme Elimination Chamber.
(Milli nods, she has the Universal Women’s Championship draped over her shoulder.)
Milli Banks: Kennedy, look…. I don’t care if I am defending this title against the very best in this company, it could be Minerva, Kassidy Heart, Sienna Jade, Dr. Bethany Blue, Raven Roberts, Harper Lee, Cameron Ella Ava, or five other women inside the Chamber, I am always ready for any challenge, and I have said that from the beginning, I am a fighting Champion, so this is just another obstacle for me to overcome.
Kennedy Street: Good attitude to have honey, because we believe in you here on Showdown, and Kennie will never forget what you have done for this brand so far this season including helping us win our very first War Games at Territorial Invasion with Bronson Daniels and Veena Adams. I want to wish you good luck.
Milli Banks: I appreciate that, and I am sure that whoever is in that Chamber will bring it, but I –
(Suddenly there are people running past them scrambling around, Kennedy Street and Milli Banks both look confused when they see people heading to the back door where the loading dock is.)
Kennedy Street: What the hell is going on!?
(She then sees Alana sprinting to the loading dock as well.)
Kennedy Street: ALANA!?
Alana Starr: WE HAVE A SITUATION KENNIE!
(Kennedy and Milli both look at one another and start running to the back, even though it is not easy with heels on for both women, when the camera pans outside suddenly there is a brawl going on. The fans in Montreal erupt in cheers in the cold weather.)
Deadprez: THERE IS A BRAWL GOING ON RIGHT NOW AS SHOWDOWN IS STARTING! THE CAMERAS ARE THERE AND VEENA ADAMS IS ATTACKING MIKU SAKAI!
Eve: AND RIGHTFULLY SO! MIKU ATTACKED VEENA AFTER HER HARD FOUGHT VICTORY AT THE LAST STAND OVER CODY MAVERICK AND THEN IT LEAD TO SOSA HENDERSON CASHING IN ON HER!
Gavin Kirkland: THE QUEEN IS BACK WITH A VENGEANCE! SHE HAS MIKU BY THE HAIR AND SLAMS HER INTO THE PRODUCTION TRUCK! IT LOOKS LIKE SHE WAS WAITING FOR MIKU TO SHOW UP! SHE SLAMS HER HEAD INTO THE PRODUCTION TRUCK AGAIN!
(Miku stumbles and looks to already cut open as blood pours down her face, Veena forearms her a few times before picking her up and slamming Miku on the hood of some car parked there.)
Veena Adams: (Off Mic) YOU WANT TO ATTACK ME, BITCH?! COST ME THE NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPIONSHIP! FINE! NOW I AM GOING TO MAKE YOU PAY FOR THAT!
(SLAM!!!!)
Deadprez: VEENA SLAMS MIKU AGAIN ON THE HOOD OF THAT CAR! BUT NOW VEENA ADAMS IS CLIMBING UP TO THE CAR! SHE PICKS UP MIKU!
(CRASH!!!)
Eve: VEENA ADAMS JUST SLAMMED MIKU INTO THE WINDSHIELD! SHE SHATTERED IT AS MIKU IS HALFWAY IN THE CAR BUT VEENA IS NOT DONE! SHE PICKS UP MIKU AND THROWS HER OFF THE CAR LANDING HARD ON THE CONCRETE!
(Suddenly referees and officials come running out and try to separate the two as Miku starts to crawl away quickly, but Veena is doing everything that she can to go after Miku.)
Alana Starr: (Off Mic) STOP THIS NOW! GET VEENA INSIDE!
Veena Adams: (Off Mic) NOT UNTIL I FINISH THAT BITCH!
(Milli Banks has a hold of Veena from behind, she is trying to calm her down as Veena is trying to break free, but it seems like Milli’s words are calming her down.)
Milli Banks: (Off-Mic) You will get her…. But not now, chile.
Veena Adams: (Off Mic) I hate her!
Milli Banks: (Off Mic) I know… but you do this in the ring.
(That seems to help as Milli calms her down, two women that seem to have become friends since Territorial Invasion. Veena nods as Milli pushes everyone away and starts to take Veena back inside. Kennedy Street looks at the carnage then realizes that it was her rental car that was destroyed in the brawl.)
Kennedy Street: That is so coming out of their checks.
(Miku Sakai is beaten and bloody, but slowly is helped up by officials.)
Alana Starr: She doesn’t look too good Kennie, we may need to cancel her match tonight.
Kennedy Street: HA! My ass honey, the match is still on.
(Miku just looks at her shocked, she tries to struggle out of the grip from the officials holding her.)
Kennedy Street: You don’t want to get loose honey. Now go get cleaned up and let the medical staff patch you up.
(Miku again tries to break out.)
Miku Sakai: ARE YOU SERIOUS!? FIRST MY TITLE SHOT AND NOW THIS ATTACK!? I’M GOING BACK TO THE HOTEL!
Kennedy Street: No, you are not…. Because if you don’t wrestle tonight, then I am pulling you out of the Extreme Elimination Chamber match for the Universal Women’s Championship that I have already put you in!
(Kennedy turns and walks away with Alana as Miku seems to be a bit taken back, then she slowly starts to smile through the blood and damage already done to her.)
Deadprez: Did we hear that right? Miku is in the Extreme Elimination Chamber for the Universal Women’s Championship!?
Eve: IT sure does, that is huge for her, and we already know of some other entrants, this is shaping up to me a really tough match for Milli to survive!
Gavin Kirkland: Just get her help!
(The scene fades to ringside as Miku is helped back to the building after the hot start to Showdown.)
(The camera cuts to Gina Romano in the ring.)
Gina Romano: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(Tear Away by Drowning Pool hits to boos from the crowd as Raeangel Guzman comes to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing first from San Antonio, Texas she is “El Oxigeno” RAEANGEL GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUZMANNNNNN!!!
Eve: Raeangel Guzman is not in a good mood tonight. She is mad tonight and I definitely wouldn’t want to have to deal with her here tonight.
Deadprez: Definitely seeing a more aggressive side to her this week. We will see if it pays off.
Gavin Kirkland: I like it when she’s angry. <3

(“The Touch” By Stan Bush hits as TJ Alexander comes down to the ring.)
Gina Romano: And her opponent from London, United Kingdom he is “The Aerial Assassin” TJ ALEXXXAAAAAAAAAANDERR!!!!
Eve: TJ Alexander scored a big win recently over Brianna Hill. Can the momentum continue???
Deadprez: I think so. But wait looking at how angry Raeangel is. Maybe not. Hmm hard to say.
Gavin Kirkland: This guy is just here to live out his dream. And he’s living my dream also by being in the ring with Raeangel’s fine ass!
Eve: Gonna have me as angry as Raeangel you keep it up buddy.
Gavin Kirkland: :whoa: !!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Eve: We are underway now as Raeangel Guzman and TJ Alexander circle around in the ring before locking up. TJ with a quick kick to the leg of Raeangel avoiding the lock up. But another kick and Raeangel grabs the arm of TJ! But TJ manages to kick the arm away and get away from Raeangel. TJ is taking no chances as Raeangel shakes her arm off and looks to get back to work. TJ is looking pretty cocky now having gotten that kick in as he rushes in to lock up with Raeangel but this was a mistake as she pushes him backwards with impressive strength into the corner. Raeangel then slaps the taste out of TJ’s mouth!-
Deadprez: No! TJ Alexander saw it coming and ducked beneath the hard slap that was being delivered by Raeangel Guzman! TJ switches around behind Raeangel and manages to shove her backwards into the corner instead. Raeangel bursts out of the corner rushing at TJ who ducks her and tosses her back with a swift Arm Drag. Raeangel rolls back up as TJ whips another kick right at her… but this time Raeangel had it scouted! She caught the kick and connects with a hard knife edge chop to the chest of TJ and drops him down to the mat. TJ got caught there and it did not end well for him!
Eve: TJ Alexander now slowly getting back up as Raeangel Guzman grabs his leg again but he kicks her backwards into the corner! Raeangel falls into the corner and TJ rushes her throwing fists and kicks! TJ is throwing everything he’s got up against Raeangel looking to hit her hard and fast! TJ climbs up on top of Raeangel in the corner and begins throwing punches until Raeangel manages to shove him away! Raeangel out in the middle of the ring and TJ slaps her hard across the jaw! TJ getting in the slap that Raeangel wanted to use on him earlier and if looks could kill! Raeangel’s would be very deadly indeed!
Deadprez: Raeangel Guzman charges in at TJ Alexander who ducks down under the bottom rope and catches her by the leg outside the ring! TJ yanks Raeangel out of the ring and slams her leg right into the steel ring post! TJ with a smart move there as Raeangel has been taken off her feet! A hard kick to the head of Raeangel knocking her backwards into the ring as TJ climbs in after her and goes for the first cover of the match!
Referee: ONNNNNNN-
Gavin Kirkland: But Raeangel Guzman kicks out with immense authority! TJ Alexander is now climbing up to the top rope and looking to go high risk here! TJ possibly looking to put it away! He leaps off the top rope with a Flying Axe Handle!!!-
Eve: No! Raeangel Guzman just speared TJ out of midair! TJ goes back first hard into the mat as Raeangel goes for the cover!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-
Deadprez: But this time TJ Alexander kicks out before one! The resilience is on display! Both competitors get back up in the ring as they begin exchanging punches. Raeangel looks to take the advantage as she traps TJ in a Headlock. TJ gets out of it but Raeangel kicks him hard in the gut and then drops him back first in the middle of the ring with a Suplex! TJ rolls back up holding his spine but Raeangel delivers a series of hard chops to the chest sending TJ back into the corner. She continues chopping away at his chest in the corner as well as hitting a big kick to the face but TJ manages to stay standing!
Eve: Raeangel now getting confident with a smile on her face as she whips TJ across the ring and charges in hitting him with a Running Clothesline. TJ gets hit hard in the corner before charging out and going for chops of his own to Raeangel’s chest but she catches him by the arm and yanks him down with an Armbreaker. Raeangel plants TJ onto the mat before lifting him up and slamming him down hard back first in the middle of the ring. Raeangel runs the ropes and hits a Running Senton in the middle of the ring before going in for the cover! Could this be it?!?!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWWWWWWWWW-
Deadprez: No! It was not it! TJ still has quite a bit left in the tank! Raeangel is annoyed by this and slaps him hard across the back of the head. Disrespectful most definitely! TJ pulled back up by the throat now as he suddenly catches Raeangel with a hard elbow strike to the face! But Raeangel ducks around behind him and takes TJ down with a big German Suplex! TJ’s chances are not looking good here as Raeangel continues to control this thing! Can he make the comeback?
Gavin Kirkland: TJ Alexander crawls his way over to the ropes as Raeangel Guzman continues to stalk him. He begins to pull himself up on the ropes as Raeangel kicks him and drives her knee into his neck choking him out on the ropes. TJ back up but Raeangel is lying in wait as she runs across the ring hitting the ropes for extra momentum… Running Big Boot right to the face! Raeangel just kicked TJ’s fucking head off! The cover!!!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!!!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR-
Eve: TJ kicks out yet again! Great resilience on display from TJ here but he can only take so much if Raeangel continues to dish it out like this! TJ again pulling himself up on the ropes as Raeangel grabs him by the head and pulls him into the middle of the ring. Raeangel now getting TJ in position as she lifts him up… Here comes the Powerbomb!!!-
Deadprez: No! TJ is fighting back after being lifted up by Raeangel in the Powerbomb position!!! TJ is throwing shots at the face of Raeangel! TJ then throws himself backwards… HURRICANRANA!!! TJ reverses the Hurricanrana and tosses Raeangel across the ring! This is TJ’s chance to make a comeback!
Eve: The crowd is hyped up now as TJ looks to be turning things around… Raeangel slaps the mat in annoyance as she gets back up but TJ catches her with a Running Enzuigiri to keep her down! Raeangel back up again but TJ with a Basement Dropkick hitting the ankles of Raeangel and taking her legs out from underneath her! Raeangel falls into the ropes and TJ attacks her from behind ramming his knees repeatedly into her back. Raeangel shoves him off but he grabs her by the leg and twists her around into a Figure 4 Leglock!!!
Deadprez: No! Raeangel manages to kick TJ off her and he falls backwards into the ring and she leaps on top of him throwing hands. TJ shoves her off and rolls on top of her instead and begins delivering hard forearms to her skull! But Raeangel with a headbutt sends TJ flying off her and now Raeangel looks to catch TJ while he is dizzy from that potential CTE. TJ pulls himself up on the ropes and Raeangel grabs him by the head and brings him in for a Stalling Suplex!!!-
Gavin Kirkland: But TJ Alexander transitions in midair turning around out of the Stalling Suplex and into a DDT! Raeangel is planted down head first and TJ quickly rolls her over as he goes for the cover!!!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!!!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR-
Eve: But it just is not enough! Raeangel Guzman with the kickout!!! TJ back up and pulls Raeangel up and places her leg across the bottom rope. TJ leaps up off the ropes and comes down hard with a knee drop right across the leg of Raeangel! He got all of it crushing her ankle and she is yelling out in pain! Raeangel rolls across the ring struggling to get back up to her feet but her leg hurts too much. TJ charges in with a Running Kick to the leg kicking that ankle out from under Raeangel and she collapses face first down onto the mat. TJ now measuring up against Raeangel and looks to be going for something big here…
Deadprez: TJ GOES IN FOR THE GAME OVER!!!!!-
Eve: No! Raeangel counters it and pulls TJ into a Small Package! Raeangel going for the steal!!!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!!!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR-
Deadprez: TJ manages to kick out! That was a close call right there! TJ is back up and he immediately attempts to lock Raeangel into the Fujiwara Armbar but she rolls out of it! Raeangel is fighting through the pain to stand on that hurt ankle as she gets back up and strikes back against TJ with a hard Bicycle Knee strike to the head! She misses! But she hits him in the chest instead and TJ is thrown back into the corner! Raeangel rushes in with a Stinger Splash to the corner!
Gavin Kirkland: Raeangel now is signaling for the end as she goes for the Euphoric Inhale!!!-
Eve: No! TJ counters it and quickly goes to roll out of the ring! But Raeangel stops him and pulls him in… But TJ breaks free! Now both are throwing strikes going back and forth in a stalemate once again!
Deadprez: This match is getting very intense. A real classic. Raeangel Guzman picks up TJ Alexander and he ducks around behind her! School Boy rollup! No! Raeangel rolls through it back on up to her feet. TJ catches her off guard with a Spinning Back Elbow! Raeangel falls into the ropes but she runs back and hits TJ hard with a Running Shoulder Tackle! TJ gets spun out flipping over from the force and lands face first in the ring! Damn what strength! Raeangel into the cover…
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Deadprez: Raeangel pulls TJ back up and he kicks at her repeatedly trying to fend her off. But every strike is just getting blocked by Raeangel who refuses to go down! She powers in after him with a shove sending him back into the ropes but TJ leaps up to the middle rope… Springboard Cutter!!!
Gavin Kirkland: No! Raeangel catches him up on her shoulder and drops him down with a Powerslam! TJ is dropped hard down in the ring as he rolls into the corner but Raeangel will not let him get away!
Eve: Raeangel rushes in… She grabs him in the corner and runs up the turnbuckle… She spins off it and plants TJ down with a Tornado DDT!!! That’s it! Call it! TJ is out!
Deadprez: But Raeangel is not done yet! She picks TJ back up and picks him up into a Stalling Suplex position and-
Eve: She drops him right down on his head! Brainbuster connects! Raeangel is adding insult to injury and this crowd has had enough! Pin him and put an end to it Raeangel! She picks TJ back up again…
Deadprez: Another Brainbuster! This time she dropped him with impressive speed! TJ gotta have serious head trauma at this point no doubt no doubt…
Gavin Kirkland: Come on Raeangel you sexy beast… pin the man! You deserve this W! You deserve to hear the roar of the crowd as the victor of this match! You will have earned it… as well as my heart!
Eve: I think she’d rather lose the match if that is the case.
Gavin Kirkland: *cries*
Deadprez: Raeangel with the cover!!!

Eve: Big win by Raeangel Guzman here tonight. She was out for redemption after losing and she earned that here tonight.
Deadprez: What an absolutely vicious performance for Raeangel!
Gavin Kirkland: Good effort by TJ also. He beat Brianna and was looking for another big win here tonight but unfortunately it was not to be. He survived a lot longer than I expected tho.
(The camera cuts to a commercial featuring Lucas Johnson, TNT, and Lt. Major Michael Scott Connor being interviewed for government positions after the election.)
(The camera returns to ringside, and we can hear the sounds of “2nd Sucks” by A Day To Remember throughout the arena as we see Ruler standing in the ring as he is surrounded by druids in the ring as we then hear Deadprez start to speak.)
Deadprez: Welcome back to Saturday Night Showdown and as you can see there is almost a demonic chill in the air with the appearance of Ruler in the ring right now as he came to the ring during the commercial break and naturally he came to the ring with all those druids surrounding him.
Gavin Kirkland: Now they are surrounding him in the ring right now and it’s kind of scary. He’s creepy and demented, but I wouldn’t wanna get on his bad side with that proverbial Book of Nicholism on his side.
Eve: Ruler has got to be feeling good after defeating Ryan Joseph Wilson in that New York Street Fight that many are considering the match of the night last week at The Last Stand. I would agree with them considering these two legitimately beat the holy hell out of each other all over New York City.
Deadprez: Ruler did get a huge victory last week, so I can only imagine that he wants to take his career to the next level. I wonder what he has on his mind and it looks like we are about to find out considering Ruler has a microphone in hand.
(Ruler looks around at the crowd as his entrance fades off. He listens to the crowd for a brief moment longer before he begins to speak.)
Ruler: Of course everybody is still talking about the New York Street Fight I had with Ryan Wilson last week. People doubted that I would be able to pull off the victory in the match and I naturally knew that I would. All I can say to those doubters is that I told you so.
(Ruler simply shrugs as the crowd boos Ruler’s conceited remark. Ruler doesn’t care what they think as he continues speaking.)
Ruler: Even though I don’t personally care about Ryan Wilson as a person, the only way I can describe our match was nothing short of a war. We put each other through a literal hell all throughout New York City coming close to death on a few occasions. But it was a war that Ryan Wilson just couldn’t win.
Ruler: Sure Ryan was close to winning, but close doesn’t mean crap around here. There is only one winner of the match and at The Last Stand, the winner was ME! You all saw what I did to Ryan Wilson? If you thought that was brutal, stick around. Because what I did to Ryan Wilson was just the beginning of things to come.
(The crowd then starts to boo as Ruler is not surprised at their reaction. He lets them get it out of their system before he continues speaking again.)
Ruler: The only reason you all react so negatively to me is because you know I speak the truth. But I know you all realize that. I also know you realize that I am out here without Zariah after how he was treated at The Last Stand by that vile Ryan Wilson.
(The camera cuts to a quick replay of The Last Stand where Zariah sacrificed himself by pushing Ruler out of the way of a moving truck that Ryan Wilson was driving where Zariah took all of the impact to keep Ruler in the match.)
Ruler: You guys all saw what happened and you cheered Ryan Wilson running over Zariah in the hopes that he might be dead… you cruel bastards. But I am here with an update on the condition of Zariah.
Ruler: Zariah will be just fine as I tell you that the Book of Nicholism is so much more powerful than any of your feeble little minds can even imagine as Zariah will be back by my side sooner rather than later. But what exactly is next?
(Ruler looks into the camera with deep fire in his eyes and almost venomous tone in his voice.)
Ruler: VICTIMS! Ryan Wilson was just the first victim and before all is said and done, there will be many MANY more victims as I make my way towards the Answers World Championship because that’s exactly what Showdown needs.
Ruler: My mission is what Showdown needs to get better than what it is now. My main mission is to blanket all of Showdown in a veil of darkness because Showdown horribly needs this type of cleanse in the worst way possible.
Ruler: And I am going to TAKE the Answers World Championship away from TLA or whoever holds the belt because it will all be in the name of the CIRCLE! OF! NICHOLISM! When that happens, who is going to stop me then? I can tell you the answer now… NOBODY! That is because–
???: Hold on a second, Ruler!
(Ruler looks confused for a second wondering who in the world just interrupted him and he finds out a few seconds later as Alana Starr walks out onto the stage with a microphone in hand and that turns Ruler’s look on his face from confusion to surprise.)
Gavin Kirkland: What a sight for sore eyes! The beautiful Alana Starr has made her way onto the entrance ramp and I couldn’t be happier. Can she stay for the rest of the show?
Eve: She’s busy working unlike you, who is just flirting with all the women on Showdown. But I am curious as to why Alana Starr is here and what she wants with Ruler. Will it involve Road to Redemption?
Deadprez: With Road to Redemption just about a month away, there is no doubt that her and Kennedy Street are working on their plans for the Showdown portion of the event, so there is a pretty good chance that this is what it involves, but let’s hear what Alana has to say.
(Alana Starr has a smile on her face as the crowd continues to react to her appearance. She allows them to keep going for a moment before they quiet down and she begins to speak.)
Alana Starr: I see you’re surprised to see me come out here, Ruler, but let me tell you that you will be glad that I did because I have something to say.
Alana Starr: Myself and Kennedy heard what you had to say a few moments ago about the Answers World Championship, so we came up with an amazing idea.
(Ruler still has the look of surprise on his face, but it now includes a look of intrigue as he wonders what Alana has to say.)
Alana Starr: Now I wanted to once again congratulate you on your victory over Ryan Wilson at The Last Stand last week. It is because of that victory, just like we have given Ryan Wilson a chance to go after a Championship tonight….
Alana Starr: I am going to do the same for you, Ruler. By that, I mean I am going to give you entry… INTO THE EXTREME ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH FOR THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP AT ROAD TO REDEMPTION!
(The crowd gives a mixed reaction towards the announcement. Positive because of the entry of another participant in the Extreme Elimination Chamber. Negative because nobody really likes Ruler all that much. Ruler looks at Alana for a moment before he nods in acceptance of his spot in the Chamber.)
Alana Starr: I knew you would accept. Congratulations once again, Ruler, and good luck.
(Alana nods before she leaves the stage as “2nd Sucks” starts playing again and Ruler develops a smirk on his face knowing he is that much closer to the Answers World Championship.)
Deadprez: WHAT AN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM ALANA STARR!! RULER HAS JUST BEEN ANNOUNCED AS A COMPETITOR FOR THE EXTREME ELIMINATION CHAMBER FOR THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP AT ROAD TO REDEMPTION!

Eve: Ruler is the fourth participant in the Extreme Elimination Chamber for the Answers World Championship that currently includes the Champion TLA, Harper Lee, and Roberto De La Rosa. Every participant thus far has been a champion in EAW.
Deadprez: Congrats to Ruler for getting a spot in the Extreme Elimination Chamber, but will the Book of Nicholism be able to save him from the bullseye that’s gonna be on his back because he didn’t have to go through an official qualifying match. But Ruler won’t care. He’s one step closer to becoming Answers World Champion all in the name of… in his words… The Circle of Nicholism. The Extreme Elimination Chamber just got a little bit more interesting to say the very least.
(The final shot shows Ruler still being surrounded by the druids as he still looks up the entrance ramp as he realizes he is one match closer to becoming Answers World Champion as the camera fades elsewhere.)
(The camera shot returns to ringside and there is a brief moment of silence before the sounds of “Faneto” by Chief Keef starts to play and the crowd starts to come alive as the National Elite Champion SOSA Henderson enters the arena. He is wearing the National Elite Championship proudly on his shoulder as he heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome your NEW ELITE ANSWERS WRESTLING NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPION! SOSA HENDERSON!!
Deadprez: Here comes SOSA Henderson heading down to the ring and he is no doubt in a very good mood after what went down last week at The Last Stand when he shocked Madison Square Garden and the world when he cashed in his 24/7 and won the National Elite Championship from Veena Adams.
Gavin Kirkland: Yeah. We’re all so happy for him.
Eve: What the hell is your problem?
Gavin Kirkland: I mean I am happy for SOSA becoming champion again, but why did it have to be at Veena’s experience? My beautiful Veena was so close to breaking the record of that crazy country bumpkin Donovan Duke and SOSA ruined everything.
Eve: Hate to break it to you, Gavin. I know you are sad for Veena, but that was just the nature of the 24/7 Contract. No champion was safe and it was unfortunately Veena who fell victim to the contract. But now it’s time for you to be happy for SOSA and where his reign will go.
Deadprez: Sorry to make this even worse for you Gavin, but Veena’s reign came to an end at 329 days and that puts her third overall for the longevity record thanks to SOSA Henderson. He is excited to be champion again and it looks like we are about to hear from the new Champion.
(SOSA reaches ringside and he grabs a microphone from Gina Romano before entering the ring. Once in the ring, his music fades out and he lets the crowd continue with their reaction for a moment longer before he begins to speak.)
SOSA Henderson: Look at what you have in the ring right now. SOSA Henderson is holding championship gold and let me tell you that this feels so damn good. It has been way too long of a wait for me to become champion again.
SOSA Henderson: People weren’t happy when I was pinned in the triple threat match last week by Harper, but I think that the night had an upturn and ended up very well for me considering I am the NEW NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPION!!
(The crowd starts giving SOSA a more positive reaction than normal as he pats the National Elite Championship that is still on his shoulder before he continues to speak.)
SOSA Henderson: Now I will give Veena credit where credit is due. She was a hell of a Champion and has been one of the best on Showdown for the last few seasons, but what I did was nothing personal. What I did was all about me winning some championship gold for myself.
SOSA Henderson: Can you guys really blame me for what I did? I saw the opportunity come up and I took it. That’s a risk all the champions had to take while I had the 24/7 Contract in my possession. If you guys had the same chance that I had, you would have done the same thing.
SOSA Henderson: I know that I was gunning after the Answers World Championship, but I just got a little bit tired of waiting for that perfect opening to cash in on the Answers World Championship again, but it worked out for me in the end when I had this opportunity arise.
(SOSA looks down at the National Elite Championship on his shoulder and adjusts it before giving it a nice pat before continuing on with what he has to say.)
SOSA Henderson: Besides, when you really think about it, the National Elite Championship might have been the perfect title for me to cash in on because the National Elite Championship is a title that I can continue to elevate as I reign with this title on my shoulder.
SOSA Henderson: Of course I can’t forget to mention somebody else who made their presence felt and I am talking about Miku Sakai. I mean I bet she isn’t in a good mood considering she attacked Veena after her title defense at the Last Stand and issued a challenge for Veena Adams and the National Elite Championship at Road to Redemption.
SOSA Henderson: So as for Miku Sakai… SCREW MIKU SAKAI!
(The crowd started cheering again after what SOSA said about Miku, Miku isn’t necessarily liked by the crowd, so they are more than happy to hear that remark.)
SOSA Henderson: Miku came out to the ring with a purpose of getting her title opportunity, but that just didn’t happen now did it? She wanted to get her title shot, but it sure as hell wasn’t going to happen when yours truly had the 24/7 Contract still in his possession, so she will just have to accept the fact that she won’t be getting a title match against Veena at Road to Redemption.
SOSA Henderson: But if she still wants a title shot against the National Elite Champion, then I welcome Miku Sakai to step right up and try her luck and attempt to dethrone me.
SOSA Henderson: But even then, she might have to wait just a little bit longer because it looks like later on tonight there are three very tough and very capable Elitists who will be battling it out all for the honor to become Number One Contender for my National Elite Championship and be my opponent at Road to Redemption.
SOSA Henderson: First we have Ryan Joseph Wilson. A former New Breed Champion who has made great strides to improve himself. He is willing to put life and limb on the line for the sake of victory and we all saw that when he and Ruler beat the shit out of each other all over New York City. He’s willing to fight, but I don’t know if it will be enough to dethrone me.
SOSA Henderson: Next we have Cody Maverick and he put on a hell of a performance against Veena Adams for this same title, but he fell just a little bit short in what many consider a heartbreaking defeat. Yeah, he beat me at the beginning of the season, but what’s to say lightning will strike twice for Cody? He experienced heartbreak before and he could easily experience heartbreak again against me.
SOSA Henderson: Then we Donovan Duke. Donovan is a former National Elite Champion and he would love nothing more than to become a two time champion, especially at my expense. Yeah, I beat you at Midsummer Massacre and have been looking for another chance to go one on one against me. You’re good. You’re talented, but if think that things are going to change in your favor, then you are completely nuts!
SOSA Henderson: At the end of the day, it really doesn’t matter to me who wins the match later tonight because at Road to Redemption, they will all experience the same fate and that is to be defeated by me because I am NOT losing this National Elite Championship anytime soon and that is a fact that everybody is going to have to accept.
(SOSA drops his microphone down in the ring before he holds the National Elite Championship high in the air as “Faneto” starts playing again to a much more positive reaction than usual for the National Elite Champion as he runs to the corner and stands on the turnbuckle holding the title up again.)
Gavin Kirkland: As painful as it is for me to see SOSA with the title instead of Veena, he is ready to hit the ground running with his National Elite Championship reign. Are we sure that we can’t have Veena get a rematch for the title? Once. Twice. Three times the beautiful lady.
Eve: Gavin! Her reign is over. GET OVER IT! Right now, it’s SOSA time and he is soaking in the moment to have a little celebration.
Deadprez: He is celebrating for the moment and he has earned this moment. He better enjoy it now because pretty quickly, he’s back to business.
(SOSA finishes posing with the title in the ring before he leaves the ring and proudly heads up the entrance ramp.)
Gavin Kirkland: As painful as it is for me to say, you’re right, Prezzy. Because later on tonight in our main event, we will see a triple threat match between Ryan Joseph Wilson, Cody Maverick, and Donovan Duke to determine who will face SOSA at Road to Redemption. I would have suggested Veena be in the match, but that’s my opinion.
Eve: You are never going to let it go, are you? You suck at moving on with your life, Gavin. Veena had an amazing reign, but we are about to see the beginnings of what many will consider another successful title reign for SOSA Henderson.
Deadprez: Before the end of the show we will find out who is first Number One Contender as he goes to defend his title at Road to Redemption. He has three tough competitors gunning for the honor. Will it be Cody Maverick? Will it be Ryan Joseph Wilson? Or will it be Donovan Duke? Either way, we will find out who the luck man will be later on tonight on Showdown.

(The scene fades to show Kyra Phillips backstage standing ready for an interview as she looks forward with a confident smile on her face before she starts speaking into the microphone in her hand.)
Kyra Phillips: Hello ladies and gentlemen, I’m Kyra Phillips and tonight I’ve got a very special guest with me, one of the EAW elitists who qualified for the Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road To Redemption, he is, “El Padrino”, Roberto De La Rosa!
(Roberto De La Rosa is seen stepping into the scene wearing his gear and a La Familia t-shirt as he looks at the camera with a serious demeanor on his face before speaking up.)
Roberto De La Rosa: Get on with the interview gringa, don’t act like I forgot the events between us a few weeks back okay?
Kyra Phillips: Okay… We saw what happened between your La Familia teammates and yourself last week at The Last Stand; how are things between you and them since your victory over them? What’s next for Roberto De La Rosa?
Roberto De La Rosa: I think the whole world saw what happened at The Last Stand between Brianna Hill, Luis De La Rosa, and myself. They saw nothing but pure brutality all for an opportunity to be closer a la gloria, to glory. All three of us wanted to qualify for the Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road To Redemption, but only one of us could make that reality for all of La Familia and that night at The Last Stand… I showed both Luisito and Bri that I was and still am the better option for all of La Familia to be one step closer to having world championships gold in our ranks! All three of us wanted to not only prove why we are a big asset to the Saturday Night Showdown brand, but we also had our own personal reasons for winning aside from bettering el legado de nuestra familia, the legacy of our family. Brianna Hill wanted to prove that she is more than just a “henchman”, that she doesn’t deserve to be underestimated by everyone else, and that she truly belongs in EAW as the future of this place. Luis De La Rosa wanted to prove that he is a capable wrestler no matter what others think, that he is more than just my little brother, and that he can be just as successful as me. In a way, they sort of made a name for themselves that night as they gave it their all, they did not hold back, and while there may be some hard feelings between us after what happened… They did a great job at trying to stop me from making my destiny into a reality.
Roberto De La Rosa: I was simply the better elitist that night. I was simply the better option for nuestra familia, our family. I am simply the only Padrino in EAW and La Familia as well! Don’t get things twisted though; La Familia is NOT over… We are still standing together as one because the foundation of our home is meant to stay standing through thick and thin no matter what we go through because of the bond we have? Unlike any other bond any of you have ever experienced! Sometimes tough love is needed to see those you love give it their all and push them harder to improve in the process! They had to be reminded WHO exactly calls the shots in nuestra familia, WHO brought this familia together, and WHO is the man who’s put his blood, sweat, and tears to make La Familia THE main attraction for Saturday Night Showdown as a whole! Nobody can say that what I did at The Last Stand wasn’t out of love because only a person that has that much love for someone would do what I did in order to not only to make La Familia better but show that whoever came out the winner of that match has what it takes to not only survive the Extreme Elimination Chamber but also walk out the winner at Road To Redemption!

Kyra Phillips: Speaking about Road To Redemption; any words on being part of the Extreme Elimination Chamber match and what this means for La Familia?
Roberto De La Rosa: It’s quite simple Kyra; at Road To Redemption I am entering inside that Extreme Elimination Chamber with one goal and it’s to become EAW Answers World Champion and I am walking out with my hand raised as I bring back the EAW Answers World Championship to La Familia! Our bond can never be broken and that is una promesa. We will still be familia, but right now it seems that what is best for La Familia is for you all to find yourself, figure out who you truly are in this industry, and when you do that while willing to understand that I am El Padrino, the Godfather for a reason we can celebrate together like the good ole’ days. Till then, let’s just say that I am going to show the world that with or without mi familia… Roberto De La Rosa is capable of whatever he puts his mind into! With La Familia on notice, with me focusing on being the one to beat TLA for the EAW Answers World Championship, and the masses awaiting for the future to become the present let’s just say that things are looking good for yours truly!

(‘Sweet Dreams’ by Eurythmics plays, drawing a loud chorus of boos from the crowd as Harper Lee makes her way out dressed in her translucent wings, ready for the match tonight. Harper pays no attention to the hostile reaction from the crowd as she marches down toward the ring.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST… FROM CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA… WEIGHING IN AT 118 POUNDS… THE STAR PLAYER… HARPERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
(“PUT EM IN THE FRIDGE” by Peso Pluma (ft. Cardi B) hits as the crowd begins to boo. Walking out with a bloodied and tattered La Familia shirt in his grasp.)
Gina Romano: And her OPPONENT from Hidalgo, Mexico weighing in at 225 pounds he is “Mexico’s Savior” ROBERTO DE LA ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSA!!!!!!!!!

Gavin Kirkman: Well, Roberto and Harper are starting this match off, trying to gauge the other, keeping their distance but slowly inching closer and closer together. It’s Harper looking to initiate the lock-up! Roberto starts to push her back into the corner, showing off the size difference between the two. Roberto has her in the corner now and pushes her head back with the referee starting to count until four! De La Rosa lets go before moving in with a chop!
Eve: Harper Lee drops down to her knees, but she can’t stay there for long as De La Rosa grabs her wrist and looks to send her across the ring! He succeeds and runs in- but Harper Lee gets the boot up to stun Roberto De La Rosa! Roberto stumbles towards the center of the ring, Harper runs up behind him- RIGHT INTO A SNAP PELÉ KICK BY ROBERTO! A great display of awareness by Roberto! Harper is stunned, drops back towards the corner. Roberto is not that far behind and he walks up to her and grabs her wrist once again, looking to send her sailing across the ring! But this time, Harper manages to turn it around and irish whip him instead!
Deadprez: Now Harper runs in and leaps up into the air for a corner forearm to the neck! It connects! She runs towards the other side of the ring looking to go for it again! But Roberto runs behind her! SHE SCOUTS IT HOWEVER AND USES THE CORNER FOR A HEADSCISSORS- BUT ROBERTO GRABS HER IN MID-AIR AND SLAMS HER TO THE GROUND! Roberto showed that he sees opportunities where others don’t, taking control of this match with a simple, yet deadly counter like that!
Gavin Kirkman: He is in control and is trying to keep it, pulling Harper back up to her feet and firing off with a forearm. Harper stumbles into the corner, Roberto grabs onto the top rope and starts to stomp away at her abdomen. Roberto takes his distance on the four count, running back in at Harper- Lee plants her boots into the chest of Roberto, pushing him back before getting up on the second rope to dive off- But Roberto with a low dropkick to trap her in the ropes! He fires a superkick to the jaw before leaping up for a DDT out of the corner! Harper Lee is planted as she rolls over to the middle of the ring! Roberto crawls over to her and hooks the leg for the early cover!

Eve: But Harper gets her shoulder up! Roberto isn’t going to let this deter him from his goal. Roberto grabs Harper and pulls her back up to her feet, and puts her head between his legs! Looking to lift her up for a Powerbomb! BUT HARPER COUNTERS WITH A HURRICANRANA! She gets back to her feet, De La Rosa also slowly gets back to his and rushes at Harper looking to take her down, but she ducks under the attempt and bounces off the ropes and runs back at him with a flying clothesline!
Gavin Kirkman: Roberto goes down again! He is still showing resilience as he looks to get back up to his feet! But Harper goes off the ropes again and runs back at him with another flying clothesline! She takes him off his feet another time, and now he rolls to the outside! Harper uses the opportunity to keep herself going! She runs towards the ropes before going towards Roberto! She is looking to soar through the sky with a suicide dive- BUT ROBERTO CATCHES HER WITH A FOREARM! SWATTED OUT OF THE AIR LIKE A FLY!
Eve: Roberto picks up Harper and drags her over to the announcer’s desk. He throws her into the apron to weaken her enough so he can clear the covers! He grabs Harper and looks to set her up on the table, but Harper puts her boot against the desk to stop it from happening and smashes Roberto’s head into it instead! She’s still shaken up from forearm, but she is pushing through because recovery is not worth being put through the table!
Deadprez: Roberto stumbles over to the apron, but as he sees Harper trying to shake off the forearm, he pushes the challenger into the table, before getting her onto it. When he grabs her again, she nails a forearm to stun him. Harper gets up on the table, and she leaps onto Roberto’s shoulders in an electric chair position… BEFORE THROWING HERSELF BACK AND PLANTING ROBERTO ON HIS HEAD WITH A POISONRANA ON THE OUTSIDE!
Gavin Kirkman: Harper grabs Roberto and rolls him into the ring. She takes a second to breathe before rolling into the ring herself to do more damage to Roberto as fast as she can. De La Rosa tries to get back up with the ropes, Harper runs at him- he throws her onto the apron! Roberto moves in towards Harper to grab her, but a hotshot from Harper sends him stumbling back. Harper grabs onto the ropes and is looking for a springboard move- BUT ROBERTO MOVES IN AND TOSSES HER TO THE OUTSIDE- WATCH OUT! Harper CRASHES THROUGH THE ANNOUNCER’S DESK!
Eve: JESUS CHRIST! Is she even alive after that one? Roberto scouted that springboard and made the absolute most from that counter. He rolls to the outside towards Harper and rolls her back into the ring. He follows her in and goes for the cover!

Gavin Kirkman: Harper manages to kick out! That was a nasty fall, but I’m glad that she is showing at least a sign of life! The trauma of watching someone die right in front of me is greater than my hatred for anyone on this earth. Roberto gets back up and backs towards the corner. He is looking to get the final blow early… He is already calling for it! HE RUNS IN AT HARPER FOR THE SPEAR- BUT SHE ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! Roberto catches himself and as Harper is turning around, he looks to catch her with that Rolling Thunder Flatliner- BUT Harper CATCHES HIM INTO A CUTTER OF HER OWN! SHE GETS IT!
Eve: After that big fall, she doesn’t have the energy to follow it up with the cover! Both of them are looking to get back to their feet at the same time. ROBERTO GOES FOR IT AGAIN, THE ROLLING THUNDER- RIGHT INTO A CROSS ARMBREAKER FROM HARPER!
Deadprez: This is HUGE for Harper Lee! She has Roberto locked into a submission move, hurting him while she can still rest from all the damage she has had to endure in the last few moments of this matchup! Roberto is struggling to get out! He is trying to maneuver around. He turns onto his knees and tries to find his vertical base. Oh no. No, don’t let him back in control… He lifts Harper up in the air and SLAMS her down with a powerbomb! Roberto De La Rosa starts to push back up to his feet in the corner as Harper Lee is trying to recover. And it seems like he still wants to hit that big Flatliner that has helped him set-up the end in matches yet again! And this time, Harper Lee is stunned out of her mind as well! He goes for the rolling thunder…He leaps up… AND “EL PEGUE DE MEZCAL” THE FLATLINER CONNECTS! Third time’s the charm! Wait- NO! HE CONNECTS WITH “TALON DE ÁGUILA” THE SPEAR RIGHT AFTER!AND HE GOES INTO THE COVER TO END IT ALL! THIS IS IT!

Gavin Kirkman: BUT HARPER KICKS OUT! I wouldn’t be too relieved so early, if I was Harper Lee! Roberto is going up top! He is looking for a FROG SPLASH! He leaps off the top- But Harper manages to get out of the way! She gets back up as Roberto turns around. Harper RUNS IN AND IS LOOKING TO CONNECT WITH SOMETHING BIG! BUT ROBERTO LEAPS IN THE AIR FOR A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP- WOAH! LOOK AT THAT COUNTER! COMPLETELY SCOUTED BY THE CHALLENGER! Harper has Roberto in a Boston Crab now! Roberto has absolutely nowhere to go right now!
Eve: Roberto is trying his best to get to the ropes, but Harper is not letting him. That high angle Boston Crab can overpower anyone with the amount of pressure on your back! Right now, Harper is just dominating Roberto with it! De La Rosa is trying everything to get out, and now he is pushing to roll over onto his back. He manages to just get it, and he starts to send boots to the face of Harper to get out of this situation. He is managing to stun Harper because of it. She won’t stop fighting to get him back into the submission hold, and I think Roberto is realizing that no matter what he does, she will try to keep herself in control… SO HE GRABS HER HEAD AND ROLLS HER INTO A SMALL PACKAGE COVER!

Gavin Kirkman: Harper powers out of it! She rushes to get back to her feet but so does Roberto! He runs at her and looks to take down with a clothesline! But Harper ducks under it and avoids it, De La Rosa turns around to go back on the offensive! Harper catches her with a massive Enzuigiri! He is stunned in place as Harper gets back to her feet. BASEMENT DROPKICK TO THE KNEE OF THE STAR PLAYER! WHAT A COUNTER!
Deadprez: Roberto nursing his back as he uses the ropes to get back up, Harper holding her knee as she looks to get up as well. De La Rosa walks up to Harper and looks to grab her, but an elbow to the midsection stops him from getting the hold on her. She gets back up to her feet completely and looks to throw a forearm, but Roberto blocks it and grabs her by the head and tosses her towards the ropes. She bounces off them and runs right back into a Tilt-A-Whirl Powerslam from Roberto De La Rosa!
Gavin Kirkman: Roberto De La Rosa gets up from the slam and grabs Harper Lee’s arm, forming a chicken wing behind her back and trapping it. He grabs the other arm, he is looking for that deadly stomp to Harper Lee! He gets the foot on the arm, AND HE GETS ALL OF IT! THE STAR PLAYER SCREAMS IN PAIN! Roberto De La Rosa goes for the cover! Gavin Kirkman: Roberto picks up Harper Lee and rolls her back into the ring, but he doesn’t go inside… HE GOES UP TOP! He is looking to end it once again! Looking for that Frog Splash once again as Harper is still in position and Roberto looking for balance on the top. OH BUT WAIT! HARPER RUSHES BACK UP TO HER FEET! Deadprez: ROBERTO MOVES OUT THE WAY, PUSHING THE REFEREE IN THE WAY- HARPER KICKING THE REFEREE OUT OF THE RING! Harper is shocked, Roberto with a smile on his face! He managed to not only buy himself time in this match but has put himself in his element. No referee, no rules! As Harper Lee tries to go and get the referee up and in the ring. Roberto seems to be creeping out of the ring and grabbing a chair! Harper Lee finally able to lift up the official, he’s waking up ready to officiate this match-
Gavin Kirkman: A WILD SWING BY ROBERTO! MISSES HARPER LEE BUT CATCHES THE REFEREE ON THE HEAD! Once again, the referee goes down to the shock of Harper Lee and now Roberto! Harper Lee confused, holding the chair finally noticing the referee getting back up to the referee getting back to his feet. OH NO! Harper Lee might’ve been outplayed by Roberto- NO WAIT! Harper Lee drops to her back and pretends to be knocked out as well! The official getting back into the ring, seeing them both in the ground with the chair in the middle! Deadprez: Yeah but she is still going to have to step into the Extreme Chamber match and see how those tactics hold up, incredible show however and if this is what’s to come at Road to Redemption. Well December can’t come any sooner.
( Harper Lee smiles as she gets her hand raised, while proud of her win she was still in aching pain from the match. Quickly snatching her hand away and heading up the ramp, taunting the fans that was booing her at ring side as the screen faded to black. )
(As the camera head to the backstage area, Kyra Phillips is standing by, she smiles as the interviewer starts to speak.)
Kyra Phillips: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome at this time, Nikki Kimura.
(Nikki walks out with a huge smile on her face after what happened at The Last Stand when she defeated Raeangel Guzman in a Last Woman Standing match. )
Kyra Phillips: Nikki, thank you for joining me. We saw you score a huge victory at The Last Stand in the Last Woman Standing Match, a grueling match that went your way, any thoughts?
Nikki Kimura: Look, Raeangel has been a pain in my ass this entire season, we were going to come to a head sooner rather than later, and in truth, I have been wanting to finish this with her so that I can move up the ladder and aim for some gold.
(Kyra nods.)
Kyra Phillips: Which brings me to the next question. Silas Mason. Since 2014 Silas Mason has had a very interesting and polarizing career in professional wrestling, he has taken almost ALL of his clients to World Champions, but his methods have been questioned. Now that he is in the EAW, does that bother you any what his reputation is?
Nikki Kimura: I did think about that, but one thing that cannot be denied about Silas is he is a genius when it comes to managing and the sport of Professional Wrestling. I know that many tell me that he is a very underhanded but so far he hasn’t shown that with me.
(Kyra Phillips cuts in…)

Silas Mason: Well, there you are! I have been looking for you everywhere!

(Nikki Kimura looks interested as Silas has come through for her so far.)

Silas Mason: Good. So, remember last week when I told you after that huge win that I would get you a title shot?

Silas Mason: Well… one thing that I always take pride in is keeping my promises. And so, we are going to want to watch Super Dynasty this week.

(Nikki’s eyes widen, she was not expecting this as suddenly a huge smile comes across her face.)

(An excited Nikki Kimura claps her hands with excitement and walks off, Silas looks on smiling, before it disappears as he turns to Kyra Phillips.)

(Silas walks off leaving Kyra a little shaken as the camera fades not Kennedy Street’s office. Where she is sitting there watching the monitor closely, turning to Alana.)

Kennedy Street: Trust me honey, I know but –
(As she was ready to finish her sentence, the doors to her office open and in walks Bronson Daniels and Jon Kelton better known as Elysium.)
Bronson Daniels: Hello… you wanted to see us?
Kennedy Street: Ah yes!
(Kennedy quickly turns to Alana.)
Kennedy Street: Remember what we talked about honey.
Alana Starr: I will.
(Kennedy stands up and walks over to Elysium.)
Kennedy Street: Gentlemen. Thank you for stopping in, I needed to talk to you two very quickly about what is going on heading into Road to Redemption. First off, I would like to congratulate you two on a great effort at The Last Stand. It was close, but The Jaded Hearts are tough, but do not worry, I am sure you two will earn a Unified Tag team title shot at some point soon.
Jon Kelton: Yeah, it sucked, we really wanted it and almost had it, but yeah, they are the best tag team of all time in the EAW for a reason. We do want another shot; we are confident that we will be able to get our hands on those titles.
Bronson Daniels: I 100% agree with Jon, we did fight hard, but as two guys who just became a tag team, I truly believe that we still can make it happen, all we need is that one shot.
(Kennedy nods in approval, she definitely agrees with their assessment, which is why she asked them to come to her office. She turns back to them.)
Kennedy Street: I completely agree with you two, that this was definitely an incredible showing and that really solidified you two as a top team not only on Showdown but also in the EAW as a whole. But Kennie asked you to come here because we need to talk about Road to Redemption.
(Jon and Bronson both look at one another and then back to Kennedy both nodding simultaneously.)
Jon Kelton: We are listening.
Bronson Daniels: Yeah, we are all ears.
Kennedy Street: Good, because Kennie doesn’t forget what you two did for Showdown at Territorial Invasion, what you two did for both Team War Games and Team Brand Warfare. We finally won those two matches and Kennie is forever grateful with your participation in that, and while you two will not receive a Unified Tag Team title match at Road to redemption, I would like to inform you that both of you will get the chance to be a champion.
(There is a pause for a moment.)
Kennedy Street: Both of you will get the opportunity to become the ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION as you are the final two that will be placed in the Extreme Elimination Chamber.
(Their eyes widen, but at the same time this is a huge opportunity for both men to do something special at Road to Redemption.)
Jon Kelton: You know what, that sounds perfect. Thank you.
Bronson Daniels: Yes, we greatly appreciate this opportunity. Looks like we need to make it come down to you and Me Jon.
Jon Kelton: Yeah… it looks that way.
(The two partners fist bump as they walk out of the office, Kennedy just smiles as she looks back at Alana who winks. The camera fades to ringside and Gina Romano ready to make the introductions for the next match.)
(Showdown came back from commercials and it went straight into a match as Gina Romano was ready to announce it.)
Gina Romano: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!

(“STFU!” by Rina Sawayama played on the speakers and the crowd immediately reacted in a very mixed manner. Miku moved forward across to the ramp as the loud metal guitar notes played in the speakers behind her. Her face has a focused expression on her face, she really did not take the man she was going to fight that seriously but she knows that after what she ended up doing at The Last Stand, and how bad her plan ended up going through at the end, she REALLY wants to beat the hell out of Veena’s boy toy. She started walking down the ramp, raising her hands up and casually flipping off the bird at the crowd all around her, moving a bit more slowly than other times due to the brawl she went through earlier in the day but she could still raise her middle finger.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST! FROM FUKUI, JAPAN! WEIGHING IN AT 110 POUNDS! MIKUUUUUUUU SAKAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!
Deadprez: Here we see a focused Miku Sakai heading into this match against Charlie Marr, she is coming off a succesful Last Stand match as she was finally able to put the “problem” that she had with Auburn Ware to rest, and in the same night, she ended up making up another problem for herself in the form of Veena Adams.
Eve: She was a big part of why Veena ended up losing the championship last week after all, so I assume the two women really want to get their hands on each other, but for tonight, Miku will have to let out all of her steam onto the confidant of Veena.
Gavin Kirkland: WOOOOO! I LOVE YOU MIKU, I KNOW THAT THOSE FINGERS ARE A SIGN OF SUPPORT!
(As Miku made her way down to the ring, entered inside and took her corner, the speakers completely changed up as ‘It Ain’t Safe’ by Skepta started to play on the speakers, the crowd immediately switched up to completely loud boos. The man known as Charlie Marr with his head down slowly walked forward towards the entrance ramp with an incredibly serious expression, full of focus and anger on it as well, Veena walked behind him and put a hand on his shoulder as the two stood there and they posed there for a moment, taking in the hate from the crowd around them and taking it in like it was nothing. Charlie adjusted his jacket and then began walking forward, simply looking forward and not letting anything else distract him as his only thing in his mind was simply to win, and nothing else.)
Gina Romano: AND HER OPPONENT! FROM TOWER HAMLETS, LONDON! WEIGHING IN AT 240 POUNDS! HE IS THE “COLOSSUS”, CHARLIEEEEEE MAAAAARRRRRRRRRR!
Eve: Now for Charlie Marr, The Last Stand did not end up well for him at all, he did have a bit of a disadvantage considering the fact that he ended up teaming with a mortal enemy of his in TLA, and even though the two of them worked through their differences the best they could, it was not enough as The Jaded Hearts ended up going through with their promise of retaining.
Deadprez: I am sure Charlie is not as sad with those losses as others in his career, considering he would have hated more the fact that he had to spend more time together with TLA, and tonight he can go back to the flow of destroying every person in his path, and I am sure he will have extra joy on it considering it is against someone that screwed over Veena.
Gavin Kirkland: He screwed my changes with Veena, that is for sure, ugh.
(Charlie takes off his entrance jacket as he reaches ringside, he hopes up and enters inside. He takes his corner as well and the two wait for the bell to ring.)

Gavin Kirkland: AND HERE WE GO!
Eve: This is going to be an interesting matchup between these two superstars, the two of them are slightly similar in mindset when it comes to dealing with the people around them but as it has been shown on record, Miku does not like Charlie at all and believes that he has only gotten lucky when it comes to what he has been able to achieve in EAW, while as for Charlie…
Deadprez: Probably she does not know who she is at all.
Eve: Codeword for probably does not care enough about her to take her seriously. Either way, everyone is looking forward to this first time matchup between these two superstars!
Gavin Kirkland: I am just looking forward to Charlie losing!
Deadprez: Oohh this is gonna be long.
Eve: The two competitors decide to step forward towards the center of the ring, Miku and Charlie have serious expressions on their faces, fully focused on this match. Miku is the one that moves first, raising her arms up and trying to go for a lock-up to start off the match. Charlie decides to go along with it, and he also raises his arms-
Deadprez: MIKU LOWERS HER ARMS DOWN AND DECIDES TO JUMP INSTEAD! SHE IS TRYING TO GO FOR THE ‘CUCK KILLER’ RIGHT OFF THE BAT?!
Eve: BUT CHARLIE IS ABLE TO CATCH HER JUST BEFORE SHE PULLS HIM DOWN! SHE LIFTS HER UP AND LETS GO OF HER, AS SHE SUDDENLY GRABS HER ARMS-
Gavin Kirkland: ‘THE QUEEN IS DEAD’?!
Deadprez: NOT QUITE! MIKU PULLS HER ARMS AWAY IN TIME AND LEANS BACK! AS SHE USES THE MOMENTUM OF THE LIFT TO REVERSE IT INTO A MONKE FLIP! SENDING CHARLIE FLYING AND SLAMMING HIM HARD ONTO THE MAT!
Eve: CHARLIE PUSHES THROUGH THE PAIN AND GETS UP TO A KNEE! JUST AT THE SAME TIME MIKU GETS UP FROM HER MOVE!
(And the two immediately stop. The crowd is wowed by the sudden start as Charlie simply ends up cracking a confident grin and Miku sticks her tongue out. They go back to pacing around the ring.)
Deadprez: What an insane way to start off the match, damn!
Eve: The two competitors might not be considered the nicest of people but it is clear that due to their years in EAW and the many people they have wrestled, they are prepared for anything and everything!
Gavin Kirkland: Charlie should have let my goat Miku win already, what a jerk!
Deadprez: Sigh.
Eve: Just move on. Right, this time Miku and Charlie go through with their lock-up, as it is clear right off the bat that Charlie has the size advantage here as he is able to push Miku away with slight ease.
Deadprez: Makes sense why Miku decided to go for her finishing move already, she knows she does not have the strength advantage so she has to resort to being fast and sneaky.
Gavin Kirkland: My poor Miku ends up getting pushed towards the ropes by that dastardly monster and he ends up putting her in a headlock! He wrenches in the hold and her room for breathing is restricted! If she needs any CPR after the match, I can he-
Eve: Not how it works! But Charlie is forced to get off the ropes due to the risk of the five count, he keeps the headlock on Miku and takes a few steps back.
Deadprez: But Miku sees her opportunity here as she pushes herself and Charlie towards the other side of the ring, using the ropes to bounce Charlie off of her and push him away! Charlie bounces off the ropes again and Miku slides to the ground, Charlie hopping over her.
Eve: Miku jumps up to her feet just as Charlie bounces for the third time and tries to-
Deadprez: But Charlie does not let her and once again he gets in the headlock on her and pushes her to the ground, shutting down her attempt at trying to fight back against Charlie.
Eve: Charlie taking his time here and making sure to wear down Miku little by little, a risky strategy when you have to remember there is a time limit on every match in the Showdown brand but Charlie knows he can’t get Miku to pick up speed and use that advantage against him.
Deadprez: Miku is trying her best to reach her arm forward and go to grab the ropes but she is too far away for that. All she can see is Veena at ringside mocking her and making a crying face with her hands. Veena takes some pleasure here at seeing Miku get some of her own medicine.
Gavin Kirkland: But Miku is slowly but surely pushing through up to her feet! The crowd claps along- okay not really, but I am clapping along myself! As she is pushing through to her feet… and with one elbow to the stomach of Charlie!
Deadprez: And another one!
Eve: And with one last big one, she elbows Charlie a third time in the gut and Charlie is forced to let go of the hold!
Deadprez: AND A BIG SLAP RIGHT ACROSS CHARLIE’S FACE FROM MIKU! SHE GETS RIGHT IN FRONT OF CHARLIE’S FACE AND SHE IS YELLING AT HIM TO BRING IT ON!
Eve: And also uh, paraphrasing, calling him a “little bitch”, but it is clear that Miku does not respect the strategy Charlie is taking and she is trying to get him riled up!
Deadprez: AND IT WORKS OUT AS CHARLIE HEARS HER WORDS CLEARLY AND HE STARTS THROWING PUNCHES RIGHT AT MIKU’S FACE! WITH MIKU NOT BACKING UP AND THE TWO IMMEDIATELY GOING INTO A FAST STRIKE EXCHANGE!
Gavin Kirkland: My goat Miku ends up taking all of the hits and as she sees Charlie winding up for a big strike, she ducks down and then knees him right down on his gut again!
Eve: Charlie is forced to hold onto his gut from the damage and then Miku sees her time to capitalize! She rushes towards the ropes and goes to bounce off them, taking her chance to-
Deadprez: CHARLIE LIFTS HIS HEAD UP AND OUT OF NOWHERE HE HEADBUTTS MIKU RIGHT ON HER FACE! I COULD EVEN HEAR A LOUD CRACK FROM OVER HERE!
Eve: AND HE IS NOT DONE YET AS MIKU’S HEAD BODY IS PUSHED TO THE SIDE BY CHARLIE AND HE GRABS HER BY THE WAIST BEFORE PULLING BACK… FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX!
Deadprez: And he sends Miku FLYING across the ring with that and her landing hard back first! Just like that, Miku gets shot down once more!
(Miku is forced to lay on the floor and grab onto her back from the landing as Charlie uses the free time to mock the crowd, wagging his finger from side to side and getting boos from everyone as the only person cheering and clapping is Veena.)
Gavin Kirkland: Just when we thought he would stop fighting like a coward, we get our trust thrown into the trash again!
Deadprez: The strategy Charlie is taking is not the best one to please the crowd with but you can’t deny that it is effective! He gave Miku room to attack and it almost backfired on him so he is going to make sure it does not happen again.
Eve: The best for Charlie to do is to continue to wear Miku down and so he is taking his own advice! He walks over and then he just starts stomping hard on the back of Miku! Over and over and over! He does not hold back at all as Miku is forced to grit her teeth from the stomps that she is receiving!
Deadprez: Charlie grabs Miku by her head and then pushes her towards the bottom rope… and then he starts pushing her down with his foot on her head! Charlie uses the ropes here as leverage to try and choke Miku here! It is not looking good for her at all!
One! Two! Three! Four!
Eve: Due to the referee’s count though, Charlie is forced to let go off her head and Miku is able to gasp and get some air back into her lungs after that-
Gavin Kirkland: But that dastardly monster kicks her in the gut just after she turns over! Leave her alone already, baldy!
Deadprez: I doubt Charlie is going to hear the orders of Gavin of all people, and I am right on that as he starts stomping hard onto Miku’s stomach! Paying her back with the same damage she gave him and making sure she does not escape from this!
Eve: Oh, Charlie is planning something devious here, isn’t he?
Deadprez: You are right on that Eve as he drapes Miku over the ropes and then Charlie starts aking some distance. He lifts up his arms and points at her… before he runs!

Gavin Kirkland: AND THEN JUMPING OFF FOR A BIG MOONSAULT TO THE OUTSIDE, AND THE BALD MONSTER GOES DOWN TO THE GROUND ONCE MORE WITH THAT! THE CROWD IS CHEERING IN RESPONSE WITH THAT MOVE!
Eve: Well, some are still booing but knowing the two are not very liked, it seems the crowd is more content with supporting Miku here!
Deadprez: Miku finally gets the chance to turn the balance of the match back towards her, and unsurprisingly, her first move after that is flipping off the bird towards Veena. Of course.
Gavin Kirkland: And my goat takes the chance to grab onto the downed Charlie and then throw him back inside of the ring! She is definitely not done yet anymore!
Eve: Miku ends up hopping onto the ring apron and with Charlie still shaken up after getting hit with that moonsault, Miku pulls herself forward… AND SHE HITS A SLINGSHOT SOMERSAULT SENTON! GETTING CHARLIE WITH ALL OF THAT ONE!
Deadprez: And Miku does not stop her impressive display of agility as she flips back and also… hits another moonsault onto Charlie! Miku finally goes for the cover here on her opponent!

Eve: Miku’s eyes lit up as she seemingly has an idea here, she goes to grab Charlie by his head and then drags him over towards one of the corners of the ring. Wait, I think I might see what she is going for here…
Deadprez: Yeah, I can also see that from the creepy looking guys in the crowd cheering.

(The referee goes down hard as Miku knees the hell out of him. She quickly gets up in shock at the blunder that she just did while Charlie moves away to get some energy back after all of that damage he took.)
Deadprez: Oh, hell nah, this match is going to turn into a complete mess now.
Eve: Oh, come on, Deadprez, this is the brand where We Wrestle! I am sure nothing bad is going to happen.
(Miku and Charlie slowly turn their heads to look towards each other and they stare in silence for a few seconds. They glance at the downed referee, then back towards each other, then referee, then back towards each other, and so on and so forth… before the two of them got the same exact thought at that exact moment.)
(Miku flips off the bird at him.)
(Charlie flips her back, but in like the British way.)
Eve: MIKU AND CHARLIE LUNGE OUT OF OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE RING AND GO TO FIND A WEAPON UNDER IT! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!
Deadprez: I am surprised they did not do it earlier, these two are like the biggest cheaters in this brand.
Gavin Kirkland: MY GOAT MIKU IS FASTER AS SHE IS ABLE TO GET A CHAIR FROM UNDER THE RING!
Eve: VEENA SEES THIS AND DECIDES TO HELP CHARLIE! AS SHE GRABS A CHAIR FROM RINGSIDE AND THROWS IT AT HIM! Charlie catches it and then he throws a kiss to Veena in a kinda cute way!
Gavin Kirkland: Ew.
Deadprez: THE TWO ENTER THE RING AND ARE READY TO ATTACK EACH OTHER, BUT THEY STOP AS THEY SEE THAT THEY BASICALLY WENT FOR THE SAME PLAN OF ATTACK!
Eve: Wait… The referee is waking up! He did not get knocked out at all!
(Miku and Charlie stop as they see that the knee was not enough to knock out the referee. They actually panic for a few seconds before they look at each other again, and somehow, they get the same idea once more.)

Gavin Kirkland: They just… threw the chairs at each other?
Eve: MIKU AND CHARLIE THREW THE CHAIRS AT EACH OTHER AND THEY COLLIDED IN THE MIDDLE, BEFORE THEY DROPPED DOWN ONTO THE MAT AND GRABBED ONTO THEIR HEADS!
(And just as the referee gets up and turns around… he sees two chairs in the middle, and both Charlie and Miku on the ground, holding their heads and “looking in pain”.)

Deadprez: Some Oscar level acting here I should say.
Eve: Sooo… the two had the same idea of tricking the referee by thinking their opponent hit them with a chair… problem was, the two ended up having the same idea.
Gavin Kirkland: Look, I support women’s rights-

Gavin Kirkland: And I also support women’s wrongs, I think Miku can trick and cheat every now and then because she is just that good, Charlie not as much though.

Eve: What a match-up we had between these two competitors! Sure, it did end up growing into a lot of chaos at the end there and a lot of tricks and interferences I am not very proud of, but it is clear that even though there is no respect between these two, they were going to leave it all in that ring to beat the other one.
Deadprez: The two truly laid everything they had against each other, and even I say they were very even at the end there, including the times they cheated against each other, Miku was close there to win it too, she just did not have the advantage of Veena being in your corner. Congrats to Charlie in the win either way!
(Veena went to grab one of the chairs at ringside and she rolled inside of the ring with it. She, of course, gave a victory kiss to Charlie first before she focused towards the downed Miku, as Miku was shaking her head and going back to consciousness after that DDT from Charlie.)
Gavin Kirkland: Ladies, we can be friends! Please do not fight!
Eve: Just as we said minutes ago, Veena is not going to forgive and forget about what Miku did to her at The Last Stand, and she is going to make sure she suffers some of what she went through!
Deadprez: Oh, for sure. Veena sees her opportunity here right on a silver platter. SHE RAISES THE STEEL CHAIR AND-

(Veena swings and hits nothing as Miku rolls out in time. Miku backs away towards the entrance ramp and grabs onto her head in response after all of the damage she suffered in the match. The only thing Veena can do is rush towards the ropes and get on them, yelling incredibly loudly towards Miku on the outside. Miku backs away and then shakes her head slowly, yelling back at Veena. This was definitely not over. And in that moment, Showdown fades away to commercials.)

Eve: Unfortunately things did not go the way TLA hoped at The Last Stand as he did not become a double champion.
Deadprez: This is true but also not from lack of effort. TLA did all he could to win that match and actually was one of the competitors who was able to escape the cage. Unfortunately your entire team has to escape and that honor goes to the Jaded Hearts who are still your Unified Tag Team Champions.

When you the Baddest Hombre on the Planet it be taking a whole lot for anybody to even think to try and be badder. I stay slaying motherfuckers like I do. Errybody done seen just what I can do. Elysium saw it first hand inside that Temple of Trials. Turns out that for them there is one more trial to go! Ruler done took it to the streets against Ryan Wilson and you know that those two vato locos done got up to some fucked up shit for real. They was having a whole horror movie fighting on the subway, fighting in the bodega. No fucks given. But we ain’t going to be fighting all over the city. Imma have y’all right where I want you. Gonna have Harper Lee and Roberto de la Rosa in there too. Roberto done beat errybody else in La Familia to get this shot. Putting a big splinter up with he familia. Now we gonna see if he can make the most of it.

It’s Ryan’s hometown, and with their hero facing Maverick, the crowd is split tonight. Maverick marches toward the ring confidently.

Gavin Kirkland: Well, folks, the crowd is going to feel different tonight, with their man here in his hometown. Neither Maverick nor our Cash In The Vault winner is going to get a universal cheer, but there are definitely fans here who appreciate both men.
Eve: Boos or cheers, any reaction, Maverick is indifferent to them. Wherever he steps, he’s focused only on trampling anyone in his path. He’s a prizefighter for a reason, and the loss against Veena Adams at Road to Redemption last week, along with seeing someone he beat earlier in the season jump ahead in the championship line, has definitely hurt him. Tonight, Maverick competes in a triple threat to earn the right to face SOSA Henderson at Road to Redemption. Perhaps, his destiny awaits.
Deadprez: You gotta respect the effort Maverick put in that night against Veena Adams. He gave everything he had to become champion, but in the end, he fell short of beating Veena and achieving his goal. Still, he’s gritting his teeth, determined to find his way back to what he wants.
(Maverick enters the ring and immediately removes his entrance vest, turning around to look at the stage. ‘I Rise’ by Cory Marks now plays as Donovan Duke, holding the Cash In The Vault briefcase in his right hand, walks out and locks eyes with Maverick, who’s already in the ring. Duke raises the briefcase high while heading to the ring, receiving a reaction similar to Cody’s as he makes his entrance. Duke arrives in front of the ring, places the briefcase down, leans his head toward it, and closes his eyes, as if in prayer. He then picks the briefcase back up, steps onto the apron, and enters the ring.)

Winning one of the biggest opportunities this landscape can offer has only made him hungrier to pursue and win different kinds of opportunities that come his way.

Ryan, Cody, and Donovan exchange looks that could cut glass as the match kicks off. Ryan throws a sharp elbow strike, flooring Cody to a roar from the crowd, but the cheers quickly turn to jeers as Ryan fumbles the follow-up, giving Cody the opening to nail him with a forearm!
Deadprez: Boos intensify as Cody lands another shot on Montreal’s favorite. Just then, Donovan attacks Cody from behind, tossing him outside the ring as the crowd cheers Donovan for saving Ryan from trouble…. only to turn on Donovan just as quickly when he kicks Ryan in the gut and shifts his focus to his own offense against him!
Gavin Kirkland: Donovan hurls Ryan toward the corner, then pivots to follow him, gearing up to steamroll in for an attack. But Ryan slips over Donovan’s back, slipping out of the corner to a roar of approval from the crowd! Seizing the moment, Ryan rolls Donovan up with a schoolboy pin, shoulders to the mat, but Donovan quickly kicks out!

Eve: But he couldn’t hit it, as Ryan manages to break free from the hold just as the move was about to land! Ryan ends up a bit off to Donovan’s side and quickly pushes him toward the corner, sending Donovan crashing into the same place where Maverick is. Wilson charges toward both men… BUT DUKE MOVES OUT OF THE WAY, CAUSING WILSON TO CRASH INTO MAVERICK AND HIT HIM WITH A HELLUVA KICK!
Deadprez: Maverick falls down near the ropes, leaning against them. Duke charges out of the corner, patiently waiting for Wilson to turn around and face him!… DUKE BURSTS OUT OF THE CORNER, AIMING TO SLICE RYAN IN HALF WITH A SPEAR BUT RYAN IS ONE STEP AHEAD, CATCHING HIM SQUARE WITH A SPINNING HEEL KICK!

Deadprez: A close call there, but Maverick throws himself back into the fray to stop the count! Wilson rolls away from both Maverick and Donovan, whom he just took down, and heads toward the corner, grabbing the ropes to pull himself to his feet.

Eve: Maverick slowly pushes himself off the ground, giving Wilson enough time to approach. Wilson hooks him for a DDT, but Maverick quickly counters with a shoulder thrust, driving Ryan’s back into the turnbuckles, trapping him there! Maverick stumbles back, while Ryan is positioned against the corner…. Maverick looks up, then charges toward his opponent, looking to collide with him but Ryan gets his right foot up, crashing it across Maverick’s jaw and sending him backward!
Gavin Kirkland: Wilson grabs Maverick and drives his head into the turnbuckle! But he isn’t done yet… another shot to the top turnbuckle! The Montreal crowd begins to count along with each time Wilson slams Maverick’s head into the turnbuckle!
Crowd: UN! DEUX! TROIS! QUATRE! CINQ! SIX! SEPT! HUIT! NEUF!… OHHHHHHHHHHHH…. DIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eve: Maverick staggers out of the corner, dazed after having his face driven into the top turnbuckle ten times by Wilson. Wilson steps back, leaning against the corner, then slowly makes his way along the ropes, using them to launch himself toward Maverick with a Running Crossbody!… BUT MAVERICK JUST BARELY SIDESTEPS, LEAVING RYAN TO HURTLE STRAIGHT TOWARD DONOVAN… DUKE CATCHES RYAN AND HURLS HIM DOWN IN THE CENTER OF THE RING WITH A CRUSHING BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX!
Deadprez: Wilson is taken down as Duke turns his focus back to Maverick, who’s still struggling to shake off the shots Ryan landed on him. Maverick desperately lunges forward with a forearm smash that connects with Donovan just as he’s closing in!
Gavin Kirkland: Maverick shakes off the sting and heads toward the ropes… IVERS A BICYCLE KICK SQUARE ACROSS CODY MAVERICK’S JAW, STOPPING HIM IN HIS TRACKS!
Eve: Donovan grabs Maverick from behind, following up right after turning him around with that brutal Bicycle Kick!… DUKE HOISTS MAVERICK UP FROM BEHIND AND SLAMS HIM DOWN HARD WITH A SIT-OUT FULL NELSON FACEBUSTER!!!! NO TIME TO WASTE, DUKE FLIPS HIM OVER AND GOES FOR THE COVER!!!!

Deadprez: Well, what a match–
Eve: Wait guys! Someone appears in the crowd!
(Main Event has been going on for a while when, suddenly, the crowd erupts in a mix of cheers and boos. The camera pans to the crowd area, revealing EAW National Elite Champion, SOSA Henderson, walking out with the title on his shoulder.)
Gavin Kirkland: Oh look, it’s the newly crowned EAW National Elite Champion, SOSA Henderson! He’s here to watch the match… or is he!
Deadprez: Well, knowing Henderson, this could go either way but he’s holding the prize that all three of these competitors are aiming for.
Eve: He has no business interfering, like he did back then with Donovan Duke when both were still contract holders, but we’ll see if this is about to get even more interesting.
(Audience reacts loudly, some cheering and others booing him. Henderson makes his way down from the upper crowd area to the floor seats, finally reaching ringside, where he sits down to watch the match. Everyone in the ring turns to look at him.)
Gavin Kirkland: Henderson has now joined the match as a spectator, keeping a close eye on who will rise as his first challenger for the National Elite Championship. Duke grabs Wilson and sends him flying to ringside, drawing a chorus of boos from the Montreal fans who aren’t pleased to see their hometown hero tossed out so unceremoniously!

Deadprez: Duke quickly strides back to Maverick, pulling him up to his feet and locking both arms, lifting him onto his shoulders… MAVERICK’S SET UP FOR A SITOUT DOMINATOR, BUT HE WRIGGLES FREE, SLIDING OFF DONOVAN’S SHOULDERS AND FLIPPING HIM INTO A BACKSLIDE PIN LOOKING TO STEAL THE WIN RIGHT OUT FROM UNDER DONOVAN’S NOSE!

Eve: MAVERICK DUCKS UNDERNEATH, STOPPING RIGHT BEHIND DONOVAN’S BACK… A JUMPING NECKBREAKER IN RESPONSE, CONNECTING WITH DONOVAN DUKE AND PLANTING HIM ON THE MAT!
Deadprez: Maverick rolls back to his feet as the crowd cheers again, spotting Ryan reaching for the apron, grabbing the rope, and preparing to launch himself into the ring!…. RYAN LEAPS, GOING FOR THE PHENOMENAL FOREARM!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: NO! MAVERICK QUICKLY BOX JUMPS UP TO THE TOP ROPE, MEETING RYAN BEFORE HE CAN DISPATCH! Maverick grabs him from the side… AVALANCHE BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX, DRIVING WILSON BACK DOWN TO THE MAT! UNBELIEVABLE MOVE BY MAVERICK! MAVERICK QUICKLY ROLLS RYAN OVER AND GOES FOR THE COVER!

Deadprez: NEAR FALL AGAIN! RJW KICKS OUT! Maverick is still struggling to put down one of his opponents to secure a victory and earn a shot at the National Elite Championship. Duke is now slowly recovering from the jumping neckbreaker he took earlier, while Maverick uses both feet to push Ryan, sending him rolling under the bottom rope to the outside.
Eve: Crowd boos again, seeing Ryan being tossed around and pushed out of the match. Maverick grabs the middle rope, pulling himself back to his feet. Duke runs in, trying to approach, but Maverick knocks him back with a back elbow while still by the ropes, causing Duke to retreat.
Gavin Kirkland: The Sin City Superstar grabs the ropes and launches himself up to the second rope, coming down with… WHOA! A SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT HE CALLS PLEASE DON’T DIE!!!!
Deadprez: BUT NOBODY’S HOME! Maverick’s body crashes to the mat as he tries to regain his footing, with Duke standing right in front of him, having dodged the moonsault by moving toward the ropes…. DUKE SPRINGS OFF THE SECOND ROPE, LEAPING TOWARD MAVERICK AND SPIKING HIM WITH A TORNADO DDT!!!! HE DOES IT!!!!
Eve: Maverick has been taken down by Duke’s comeback, and Duke looks to keep the momentum going as Wilson reenters the ring drawing a big cheer from the crowd! Wilson charges forward, aiming to attack Donovan, but Duke stops him with a kick to the gut, earning some boos from the Montreal fans!
Gavin Kirkland: Duke pushes Wilson toward the ropes, but Ryan counters, twisting Duke’s arm and pulling him into an Inverted Atomic Drop, sending Duke clutching his groin after taking the hit from Ryan’s knee! RJW sets off, running toward the ropes and bouncing off… BUT DUKE TURNS WILSON INSIDE OUT WITH A HARD-HITTING LARIAT!!!!!!!!
Deadprez: Now it’s Maverick’s turn to recover from the move he took earlier, and he charges at Duke with a clothesline of his own but Duke ducks underneath, running toward the ropes…. DUKE REBOUNDS AND TRIES TO HIT A RUNNING LARIAT ON MAVERICK AS WELL!!!
Eve: BUT MAVERICK ALSO DUCKS UNDER AND HEADS TO THE ROPES, CAUSING BOTH MEN TO CHARGE AT EACH OTHER! BOTH SAME IDEA COLLIDE IN THE CENTER OF THE RING AS THEY HIT EACH OTHER WITH RUNNING LARIATS AT THE SAME TIME! BOTH MEN ARE DOWN! ALL THREE MEN ARE DOWN, INCLUDING RYAN WILSON!!!!
(Some fans in the front row begin smacking the surface of the barricade, sparking a huge ovation from the crowd for this main event. Entire crowd follows as they rising from their seats, rumbling the floor, and giving a round of applause for the action they’ve been watching so far.)
Gavin Kirkland: Canada has to be one of the greatest countries for crowd energy, second only to some in Europe. The atmosphere tonight has been incredible! It’s amazing just to be a part of it! My god!
Eve: It’s going to be even more electric than this if Ryan manages to win the main event for his hometown crowd tonight. Wilson gets to his feet, seeing both of his competitors still down from their earlier collision.
Deadprez: He looks ready to take to the skies again with both men down. Duke rolls off to the side, but Maverick stays laid out in the center of the ring. Wilson makes his way to the top rope, and the crowd is excited for what’s coming next! Wilson takes the leap!… FROG SPLASH ON CODY MAVERICK!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Maverick survives the attack and heads toward the corner where Ryan is catching his breath! Wilson drops to the mat and rolls off coming face-to-face with a reenergized Donovan Duke!… WILSON RISES TO HIS FEET, ONLY TO WALK STRAIGHT INTO THE DEALER’S CHOICE FROM DUKE!!!!!!!!!!

Deadprez: Duke struggles to rise to his feet, while Maverick gets up as well, delivering a barrage of elbow smashes repeatedly across Donovan’s jaw, finishing with a Discus Punch that knocks Donovan down to both knees! Maverick steps back toward the ropes, rebounds, and charges forward… LEAPING TOWARD DONOVAN TO LAND LIGHTS OUT!!!!!!!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Duke manages to wiggle out of the hold of the Small Package Driver, escaping the fatal blow! Wilson is forced to release Donovan and turn to face him. Meanwhile, Maverick pulls himself back to his feet and attempts to slingshot himself back into the ring to attack both men….

Eve: After a long journey of fighting for opportunity after opportunity, he has done it once again, and in the most perfect place possible! Ryan Joseph Wilson has become the number one contender for the EAW National Elite Championship, claiming victory in his hometown!
Deadprez: What a fantastic main event this is! What a victory for Montreal!
(Maverick begins picking up Donovan, and the two start arguing in the ring after the match about what just happened. The camera pans back to Wilson, who is standing on the edge of the apron, embracing the loud cheers from the crowd. On the opposite side, EAW National Elite Champion SOSA Henderson stands on the steel chair he was seated on throughout the match, raising his title high while locking eyes with Ryan Joseph Wilson.)
Gavin Kirkland: And we can’t wait to see these two go at it soon enough, once again in Ryan’s home country at Commonwealth Stadium! What a fantastic show this has been.
