Bea Valentine
This week’s Rising Star of the Week was Bea Valentine! On Voltage, Bea Valentine started her season competing in a match against the 24/7 Contract holder, Roberto De La Rosa! In the end this match would have some controversy thanks to a distraction from Mei Sasaki, and this all would allow Bea to pick up the victory, scoring a huge win as she defeated a man on track to winning his first Championship in EAW! Bea Valentine started off her season in the best way possible, giving her tons of momentum going forward as she looks to rise up the ranks now that she’s on Voltage. Congratulations fo Bea Valentine!
Beef of the Week
Jack Ripley vs Donovan Duke
The Beef of the Week for this week was between Jack Ripley and Donovan Duke! These two have history with each other having spent season 16 on the same brand, and for the first Voltage of season 17 these two faced off one on one! While neither Elitist was successful at Pain for Pride they both planned to start this season with a win, which in turn led to a great week of promos between Jack and Donovan, two Elitists who already know each other very well. While both Elitists wanted a fresh start, this match was a great way to kick off the season for both of them as they had an excellent performance.
Show of the Week
Dynasty
This week’s Show of the Week was Dynasty! Dynasty featured great matches such as Milli Banks versus newcomer Valkyrie, Chris Elite versus Ronan Malosi, Andre Walker versus Xander Payne and more, but it’s not just the matches that made this such a great show. Dynasty featured tons of surprises and fantastic moments, with Drake Armstrong being given a New Breed Championship match against Hans Grayson, Ronan Malosi getting involved with Joso, Jake Smith coming to help Chris Elite and more. This was the very first Dynasty of the season, and with the first week of shows, Dynasty absolutely delivered.
Match of the Week
Andre Walker vs Xander Payne
This week’s Match of the Week was the main event match for Dynasty, which was a match between Andre Walker and Xander Payne. Both of these men are former World Champions and some of the very best in EAW, which is why it’s no surprise that this match delivered! These two once faced off in a classic for the Interwire Championship, and now over a year later they have an amazing match to close Dynasty. These two have so much history with each other, and in the end that made the first Dynasty of the season end with a fantastic match between Xander and Andre.

Champion of the Week
Holly Arrow
This week’s Champion of the Week is one half of the Unified Tag Team Champions, Holly Arrow! On Voltage, Holly faced off against the number one contender for the Specialists Championship Jamie Cross, all while the Champion herself Milli Banks was watching the match on commentary. In the end Holly managed to defeat Jamie, picking up a victory in her first match of season 17. POTARA had a very big Championship defense back at Pain for Pride, and heading into the new season it looks like they’re planning to continue their momentum as they look forward to their next title defense.
Most Valuable Elitist
Andre Walker
This week’s Most Valuable Elitist is Andre Walker! On Dynasty, Andre competed in the main event in a match against Hall of Famer Xander Payne, someone that Andre knows very well. With everything going on with these two Elitists this was bound to be an interesting match, and in the end it was exactly that. These two once again delivered and put on an excellent match, and in the end Andre was able to pick up the victory. Andre bounced back from his loss at Pain for Pride, and it’s safe to say he did so in a very big way, once again defeating Xander Payne. Congratulations to Andre Walker!
