Ashlynn Quinn
This week’s Rising Star of the Week was Ashlynn Quinn! Ashlynn Quinn was on Showdown this week, competing in a tag team match alongside Veena Adams as they were up against two former Championship contenders in Lexi and Hans Grayson. This was a good match, and in the end Veena and Ashlynn were able to pick up the victory! Veena and Ashlynn have seemingly formed an alliance recently, and this in turn has resulted in a good victory being added to Ashlynn’s record. Ashlynn is still a newcomer on the Showdown roster, and alongside Veena she may have a very bright future.
Beef of the Week
Jay Jerry Johnson vs Scott Diamond
This week’s Beef of the Week was the match between Scott Diamond and Jay Jerry Johnson! This is a match that has happened once before, but this time things were only even more interesting thanks to this history. Both Scott Diamond and Jay Jerry Johnson had future Championship matches on their mind, whether it was the World Heavyweight Championship or the Interwire Championship, and this match served as a perfect opportunity for them to once again show what they’re made of. Both Elitists put out great promos this week, making this once again a match to look forward to, just like it was the first time around.
Show of the Week
Dynasty
This week’s Show of the Week was Dynasty! Dynasty had a great show this week, one that started out with the Jaded Hearts in a confrontation with Serenity Valdez. From there this show featured some great matches as Milli Banks took on Caroline, various Grand Rampage preview matches took place, Soul Food Sunday faced off against the Queen Bees, and in the main event Scott Diamond went up against Jay Jerry Johnson! This was a stacked show, which is only fitting as Grand Rampage is coming soon. This show did a fantastic job building towards one of the biggest events of the year.
Match of the Week
The Ice Aces vs #DisneyBesties
The Match of the Week for this week was the match between the Ice Aces and #DisneyBesties! This was bound to be an exciting match, as this was a match with tons of history and a fantastic rivalry behind it! These two teams hate each other and have hated each other for a while and finally they all got to face off in one six-woman tag team match! All six of these woman brought their best to this match and had a great showing, making for an amazing match which took place on Voltage! After everything these two teams have done to each other, this was a great way for them to settle things.
Promoer of the Week
Joso
This week’s Promoer of the Week is Joso! Joso competed in an interesting match on Dynasty which pitted him against Kirk Redwood, Madison Kaline and Bronson Daniels. Joso walked into this match frustrated given how things turned out against Scott Diamond and the aftermath of it all, but in the end this all made him even more focused as he prepared for the Grand Rampage, the match this fatal four way served as a preview for. Joso’s promos throughout this week were fantastic. There was already no doubt that he has risen through the ranks throughout the past year, but now he plans to do even bigger and better things.
Champion of the Week
Veena Adams
This week’s Champion of the Week was the National Elite Champion, Veena Adams! On this week’s Showdown, Veena teamed up with Ashlynn Quinn as the pair faced Lexi and Hans Grayson. Lexi and Hans are talented Elitists who have fought for Championships in the past, and what makes this even more interesting is that Hans is one of the Elitists Veena won her first Championship defense against. In the end, Veena and Ashlynn were able to defeat Lexi and Hans, as Veena continues to pick up momentum for her National Elite Championship reign. Congratulations to the National Elite Champion Veena Adams!
Most Valuable Elitist
Serenity Valdez & Mei Sasaki
This week’s Most Valuable Elitists are two of the three Queen Bees, Serenity Valdez and Mei Sasaki! Serenity and Mei teamed up on Dynasty in a match against Soul Food Sunday, the current Unified Tag Team Champions! Needless to say this was a very big match as they continue to try and regain momentum following the events of Operation: Doomsday, and in the end they managed to do exactly that, and in impressive fashion. While this match did have some controversy involved, a win over the Unified Tag Team Champions just further showcases how much of a threat this group is. Congratulations to the Queen Bees!
