Korey GainesÂ
This week’s Rising Star of the Week was Korey Gaines! Korey Gaines is heading into a New Breed Championship match against Caroline soon, and this week he got to compete on the Champion’s brand, Dynasty! On Dynasty, Korey looked to send a message to the Champion as he prepared to go up against newcomer Jamie Cross, and in the end Korey was able to leave that match with the victory! Korey now leaves Dynasty with momentum heading into the New Breed Championship match, as he looks towards the opportunity to win his first Championship in EAW!Â
Beef of the Week
POTARA (Holly Arrow & Harper Lee) vs Donovan Duke & Jon Kelton
The Beef of the Week for this week was the match between POTARA and the team of Jon Kelton and Donovan Duke! With three of the competitors in this match competing in a major match at Reasonable Doubt and the other at Tempest, everyone involved brought their best to this match and made it an exciting week of promos! With the main focus of the promos being the upcoming marquee events and the two teams looking to gain momentum heading into it while also working as a proper team this week, each competitor did great this week and made the match much more exciting.
Show of the Week
Voltage
This week’s Show of the Week is Voltage! Voltage had a great show this week, featuring some exciting matches such as the triple threat tag team match, Miku Sakai’s in ring return, Samael versus TLA and the main event match between Drake King and Alex Myers! This show also saw some very interesting build towards both Tempest and Super Voltage II with confrontations between Samael and Myles, Methuselah and Theron Nikolas, Sheridan Müller and TLA, and so much more. This was all around a great show with a ton to offer.
Match of the Week
Drake King vs Alex Myers
This week’s Match of the Week was the Voltage main event match, which was between Drake King and Alex Myers! This wasn’t just an ordinary match between the two, as this match had the stipulation of Lobster Deathmatch! This was a unique stipulation for the match, and this turned around to be a very exciting way to close out Voltage as both Drake King and Alex Myers brought their best to this match! Having to hold their opponents’ head in the tank of lobsters for the count of ten was not an easy task, and that made for a thrilling match.
Promoer of the Week
Bronson Daniels & PJ Hendrx
The Promoers of the Week for this week are Bronson Daniels and PJ Hendrx! There’s not always two people selected for Promoer of the Week, but Bronson and PJ this week put out some amazing promotional videos in their match against Ruler and Amir Yusuf! These two teams were heading into separate matches against each other in the upcoming weeks, and this match gave them the opportunity to see what they were dealing with in advance. Bronson and PJ’s promos reflected that, and showed that they were absolutely ready for what’s to come.
Champion of the Week
Caroline
This week’s Champion of the Week is the New Breed Champion, Caroline! This week on Dynasty, Caroline went up against the former Interwire Champion Joso in a great match! Caroline has been preparing for her first Championship defense in Korey Gaines and this week provided her with a great challenge leading up to that match, one that she ultimately was able to overcome as she left Dynasty with the victory over Joso! Joso walked into the match hurt thanks to Scott Diamond, but Caroline still put down an Elitist that quickly rose up the ranks. Congratulations to the New Breed Champion!
Most Valuable Elitist
Kassidy Heart
The Most Valuable Elitist for this week is Kassidy Heart! Kassidy competed on Showdown this week against a fellow Hall of Famer in Xander Payne in the show’s main event, and this turned out to be a fantastic match! With Adam Lucas around on commentary this turned out to be an interesting match, one that’d be won by Kassidy Heart after she was able to avoid an attack by Adam, causing Adam to strike Xander instead! Kassidy left Showdown with momentum heading into Reasonable Doubt, as well as a huge win against a former World Champion! Congratulations Kassidy!
