Roberto De La Rosa

The Rising Star of the Week for this week was Roberto De La Rosa! On Voltage, Roberto competed in a brand versus brand match against the 24/7 Contract Holder, Samael! Samael has been very dominant and a dangerous member of the roster, but the Showdown Elitist was able to pick up a very surprising victory following an interference from Theron Nikolas! This was a big win for Roberto De La Rosa as he returns to his brand with momentum on his side and a win over the 24/7 Contract Holder and possibly a future Champion, so congratulations to Roberto for picking up the victory! 

Beef of the Week

Adam Lucas vs Alex Myers

This week’s Beef of the Week was between Adam Lucas and Alex Myers! These two had a really great week of promoing, as both Elitists were very eager to pick up a big victory. Alex Myers started off the week making it clear that he has respect for Adam despite the fact that he plans to defeat him, but their promos this week also dealt with the fact that both Elitists have come a long way and changed whether they believe it was for the better or for the worse. This was a very entertaining week, and both Alex and Adam showed what they’re capable of with an excellent performance weeks away from No Regards. 

Show of the Week

Voltage 

This week’s Show of the Week is Voltage! Voltage was a fantastic show this week full of fantastic matches such as Daryl Kinkade versus Haruka Kashimashi, the Ice Aces against Komatsu Ogawa and Lucas Johnson, and in the main event The Prescription defended the Unified Tag Team Championships. This show also saw the announcement of Wicked Games Roulette and the return of the stipulation wheel, as well as even more matches being announced for Wicked Games. This was a great week for the yellow brand heading closer to Wicked Games, 

Match of the Week

Impact vs Holly Arrow

The Match of the Week for this week was the Showdown main event, the match between Answers World Champion Impact and Holly Arrow! Both Elitists brought their best to the table as this turned out to be a very competitive match between the two. With Holly Arrow looking to rise up the ranks and prove herself against a formidable opponent and Impact looking to get a win ahead of his huge match at No Regards, there was definitely a lot on the line for both Elitists. This match could have gone either way and both Elitists could be proud of their performances in this match, as they both did great.

Champion of the Week

The Prescription (Sheridan Müller & Dr. Bethany Blue)

This week’s Champions of the Week are the Unified Tag Team Champions Sheridan Müller and Dr. Bethany Blue, also known as the Prescription! In the main event of Voltage they defended their Championships against the unlikely duo of TLA and Drake King in a really great match! While the challengers had issues all throughout the match, the Prescription worked perfectly as a team, which led to the ending of this match where the challengers got into a brawl, allowing the Prescription to retain by a countout! The Prescription this week showed amazing team chemistry, and in the end they were once again able to retain their titles. Congratulations to Dr. Bethany Blue and Sheridan Müller!

Impact

The Promoer of the Week and Most Valuable Elitist of this week is the Answers World Champion, Impact! Impact had a very competitive week as he faced off against Holly Arrow in Showdown’s main event match. Impact had an amazing performance this week, and in the end Impact was able to put Holly Arrow away, picking up another victory in Showdown’s final match of the night. Impact has had a fantastic reign so far as the Answers World Champion, and this week showed once again that Impact is undoubtedly one of the greatest on the EAW roster. Congratulations to the Answers World Champion for another victory!
