This week’s Rising Star of the Week is Roberto De La Rosa! At Dia Del Diablo Roberto De La Rosa went up against Abel Atami to finally settle the score in a feud that’s been going on for quite some time now. These two faced off just back at King of Elite in a triple threat to try and win the Hardcore Championship, but this week they faced each other one on one, and after a grueling back and forth Ring of Fire match between Roberto and Abel, Roberto De La Rosa was able to leave Dia Del Diablo with a major victory. Congratulations, Roberto!
Beef of the Week
Adam Lucas vs Impact
This week’s Beef of the Week has to go to the match between Adam Lucas and Impact! This was a huge match for many reasons. Not only are these some of the best Showdown has to offer, but this was a match with a future Answers World Championship opportunity on the line. This was a major match, and Adam Lucas making it clear that he knows just how big of a deal Impact is, and Impact solely being out for blood this week led to an amazing back and forth between two incredible Elitists. There’s no doubt just how much these two want to make it to the top of the Showdown roster, and this week proved that they’re both very capable of doing so.
Show of the Week
Dia Del Diablo
This week’s Show of the Week is Showdown’s free-per-view, Dia Del Diablo! This is the first time Dia Del Diablo is being held in years as Showdown has their own stipulation-themed free-per-view, and in the end this would turn out to be a fantastic event full of incredible matches. From the Lake of Fire match, to Adam Lucas versus Impact, to even the match between Charlie Marr and Limmy Monaghan that’d result in a NEW Hardcore Champion in Charlie Marr, Dia Del Disblo absolutely delivered this week, being a huge success for the event’s return. The road to Pain for Pride is coming, and Dia Del Diablo was a great event for Showdown and a great way for the blue brand to start their road to the biggest event of the year!
Match of the Week
Kassidy Heart vs Ronan Malosi
This week’s Match of the Week is the match between Kassidy Heart and Ronan Malosi! The Lake of Fire match was always going to be a major surprise, but in the end this turned out to be more than that. While the match technically didn’t start until Kassidy and Ronan had already beaten each other to near death, from start to finish this would turn out to be one of the most interesting and entertaining things about the entire show. So much happened even before the bell officially rang, and it just goes to show both how talented these two are, and how creative of a stipulation the Lake of Fire really is.
Promoer of the Week
Impact
The Promoer of the Week for this week is Impact! It’s no secret that Impact has been looking for his tenth World Championship, but this week he had Adam Lucas standing in his way. These two would go on to have an amazing back and forth, and during that back and forth Impact would put out great promos. Impact has always been known as one of the greatest of all time, and this entire season Impact has continued to show everyone why that’s the case. This week has been no different, and with weeks like this, Impact’s road to becoming World Champion for the tenth time might just end with success.

This week’s Most Valuable Elitist and Champion of the Week is the Answers World Champion, TLA! At Dia Del Diablo, TLA’s Answers World Championship was on the line against three opponents in his first title defense, Towering Inferno! While winning a match like this would be far from easy for anyone, TLA was able to leave Dia Del Diablo with his Championship reign intact, holding onto the title after defeating Cameron Ella Ava, Veena Adams and Harper Lee. TLA has proven to be a fantastic Champion already, and after such a great start it’ll be interesting seeing where his reign goes next. Congratulations TLA!
