Rising Star of the Week
Kirk Redwood
This week’s Rising Star of the Week was Kirk Redwood! On Voltage, Kirk faced Jay Jerry Johnson in a no disqualifications number one contendership match, where the winner would face Minerva for the National Elite Championship. This was a very competitive match between the two, who’ve been enemies for quite some time now, but in the end Kirk was able to defeat Jay Jerry Johnson and win contendership for the title. This is a big opportunity that Kirk Redwood has never had before, so congratulations to Kirk Redwood!
Beef of the Week
Lucas Johnson vs Minerva
The Beef of the Week for this week goes to the match between Lucas Johnson and the National Elite Champion, Minerva! The promos between these two were very impressive this week, and while Minerva may have won the match, Lucas Johnson should also be proud of what he did this week. Lucas Johnson was given a New Breed Championship match by Amir Yusuf following this, and if Lucas continues like this he could definitely become the new Champion, all while taking the National Elite Championship from Minerva remains a difficult task!
Show of the Week
Voltage
This week’s Show of the Week is Voltage! This was a great show that had a lot to offer. There was a big no disqualifications match with number one contendership for the National Elite Championship that led to a triple threat being made for the title, the return of Jake Smith as Chris Elite’s new partner for the tag team turmoil tournament, and very competitive matches such as Minerva versus Lucas Johnson, the tag team match between Candice Blair and Danny Tanner and Ryan Wilson and Alex Myers. Drake King versus Holly Arrow. This show did a very good job heading towards Wicked Games!
Match of the Week
Limmy Monaghan vs Theron Nikolas
The Match of the Week for this week was Showdown’s main event, the match between Limmy Monaghan and Theron Nikolas, with Kassidy Heart and Impact on commentary. This was a fantastic match, and while the crowd may have been on the side of Glasgow’s own Limmy Monaghan, both competitors delivered, putting on such a good performance. Theron Nikolas was able to win the match, but it was not easy for him by any means. Both competitors did a great job this week, and proved that they’ll both be big threats in their respective Reasonable Doubt matches.
Promoer of the Week
Minerva
This week’s Promoer of the Week is the National Elite Champion, Minerva! This week Minerva went up against Lucas Johnson, and this was such a good week for these two that they were also the Beef of the Week for this week. Minerva’s promos were amazing though, and as always, she proved just how talented she is, and why she’s accomplished everything that she’s done in her career. This was another great week for Minerva, who did a great job in proving that both Kirk Redwood and Shane Gates will have a very tough time against her.
Champion of the Week
Drake King
The Champion of the Week for this week is the EAW Champion, Drake King! Drake competed in Voltage’s main event this week, against the woman who’ll be competing for the Universal Women’s Championship very soon, Holly Arrow. This was a very competitive match by the two Elitists, and while Holly put on a great performance, it was Drake that managed to pick up the victory. It was not an easy match whatsoever, but after winning in such a competitive match the final match of this week’s Voltage, there’s no doubt that Drake was the Champion of the Week.
Most Valuable Elitist
Theron Nikolas
The Most Valuable Elitist for this week is Theron Nikolas! On Showdown, Theron competed in the main event of the night against the number one contender for the Hardcore Championship, Limmy Monaghan! Not only is Limmy competing for the Hardcore title soon, but this week on Showdown Limmy was in his hometown! Theron knew this heading into Showdown, and while Limmy Monaghan did come close to winning the match, the former Answers World Champion was able to put Limmy away, picking up a big victory on the road to Reasonable Doubt. Congratulations Theron Nikolas!
