Holly Arrow
Rising Star of the Week this week is one of the newer signees to Voltage, Holly Arrow! After being attacked by him the previous week, Holly Arrow took on Shane Gates just one week before competing in the Extreme Enigma Memorial Battle Royale. In the end Holly Arrow picked up yet another victory, helping her pick up some huge momentum heading into Road to Redemption. Congratulations to Holly Arrow!
Beef of the Week
Minerva vs Jesse Barlow
Beef of the Week for this week was definitely between Minerva and Jesse Barlow. This match was bound to be personal from the start after what Jesse Barlow did to Minerva last week and it definitely delivered. This was a great match for the final Voltage before Road to Redemption, and hopefully these two are able to continue putting on performances like this for the foreseeable future.
Show of the Week
Voltage
This week’s Show of the Week was Voltage. This was a great Voltage to close out 2020, as it featured matches such as Minerva versus Jesse Barlow, huge confrontations and brawls between the competitors for both the EAW Championship and Specialists Championship, and a main event match featuring four of the competitors in the EAW Championship match at Road to Redemption. What a show!
Match of the Week
The Corona Hombres vs SOSA Henderson and Ahren Fournier
Match of the Week this week was the Voltage main event match between the team of TLA and Terry Chambers against SOSA Henderson and Ahren Fournier. With a group of talent like this, it was clear that we’d be getting a fantastic match even knowing SOSA and Ahren don’t have the best history. Although we didn’t get to see a real winner from this match, this gave us a great preview of what’s to come at Road to Redemption.
Promoer of the Week
Minerva
Promoer of the Week this week was the former Universal Women’s Champion, Minerva. After being dragged into Jesse Barlow’s feud with Myles in such a disrespectful nature it was only natural that Minerva had a lot to say about it, and as expected she did. Minerva’s promos this week were as good as always, once again showing us all just how talented she is as we approach Road to Redemption.
Champion of the Week
SOSA Henderson
Our Champion of the Week is SOSA Henderson, the EAW Champion. On Voltage he teamed up with Ahren Fournier to face TLA and Terry Chambers, and while that match did not end with a clear winner, he still managed to stand tall at the end of the night. Ending the show coming out on top of a huge brawl, SOSA Henderson showed us all exactly what he plans to do at Road to Redemption, and with the run he’s been on who knows if anyone will be able to stop him?
Most Valuable Elitist
Andrea Valentine
Most Valuable Elitist for this week was Andrea Valentine. On Showdown her and Lucas Johnson faced Jack Ripley and Jon Kelton in another tag team match between Extreme Elimination Chamber competitors. Unlike Voltage’s though, this one actually ended in a real victory as Andrea was able to get the winning pin for her team, picking up the victory for her and Lucas. Good luck to Andrea heading into Road to Redemption, soon we’ll see if this new change in personality will result in a second World Championship victory.
