In March, EAW saw its final brand-exclusive marquee events of the season take place with Operation: Doomsday, Reasonable Doubt, and Shock Value. These events held various shocking moments and even Championship changes, but there was one Elitist who had a beyond shocking night, to such an extent that they had to be March’s Elitist of the Month. That Elitist is none other than the new Hardcore Champion, Kai Rabeaux! At Shock Value, Kai started off his night in an already significant way as he was able to defeat the current Cash in the Vault briefcase holder Hans Grayson in a heated grudge match. Such a victory is already something impressive to put on Kai’s resume, but what shocked the world was what Kai did afterwards. During the Hardcore Championship match between Adam Lucas and Dr. Bethany Blue Kai would cash in his 24/7 Contract, successfully winning the Championship. This wouldn’t come without both controversy and tragedy, but while Kai may very well face repercussions for his actions, it can’t be denied that Shock Value was quite possibly the biggest night of his career thus far. He may not be a fan favorite, but congratulations are still in order for the new Hardcore Champion, who certainly ended off his month with a bang.
