In the month of July, season 19 officially got started, and it happened in a major way. With a month away from the first marquee events of the season this was the chance for the members of the EAW roster to put themselves on the map, and there is one Elitist who succeeded in doing exactly that. This Elitist is July’s Elitist of the Month, Chris Elite! At the first Voltage of the season, we saw a huge eight-man tag team match where Chris Elite teamed up with Cody Maverick and Elysium against Mr. Cash in the Vault Hans Grayson, the 24/7 Contract holder Kai Rabaeux, the King of Elite Drake Armstrong, and the EAW World Champion Adam Lucas. In the end Cody Maverick and Chris Elite, the two men who had set their sights on the EAW World Championship, were able to take out Adam Lucas. However, it was Chris Elite who was able to pick up the winning pinfall, pinning the World Champion to start off his season. This was a huge way to make a statement, and a very impressive feat by one of the two men who’d become the number one contender to the EAW World Championship. Chris Elite was able to hold the Interwire Championship last season, and it looks like he may be able to reach greater heights in season 19!
