July was a very important month, as this marked the beginning of season seventeen! This meant that the entire EAW roster had a fresh start, with new brands and new opportunities to make an impact. The blue brand especially had a very big month ahead of them as this month featured their first marquee event of the season in Midsummer Massacre, and thanks to that, July’s Elitist of the Month is none other than the Answers World Champion Adam Lucas! After winning the Championship at Pain for Pride, Adam had his first title defense ahead of him as he was set to take on Daryl Kinkade. Daryl is a very accomplished Elitist with much to offer, so this gave Adam a very good challenge in his first World title defense! This was a fantastic match that main evented Midsummer Massacre, ending the show on a very high note. It was very competitive, but ultimately Adam was able to retain and continue his reign as Champion. This was a fantastic start for the Answers World Champion, who definitely has the potential to have a fantastic reign! July was a great month for Adam Lucas, and with that Answers World Championship things can definitely get even better. Congratulations to the newly crowned World Champion!
