In the month of January we started the new year as well as the second half of season 18. As always the year started off with a bang as both the King of Elite and Empress of Elite tournaments were held, with both tournaments finding their finalists as we approach the King of Elite marquee event. Both of these tournaments featured many talented Elitists across all three brands as Elitists all across EAW look to find their way to either their first or another World Championship reign, but January’s Elitist of the Month is someone with the opportunity to become a double Champion, and that is the Hardcore Champion Solomon Stane! Solomon Stane has had a fantastic month, as his Hardcore Championship reign would kick off with some major victories in the King of Elite tournament. He’d start the tournament with a victory over former World Champion Limmy Monaghan, before defeating Daryl Kinkade to advance to the semi-finals! Ultimately Solomon would also win against a man who could potentially become Unified Tag Team Champion at King of Elite in Akari Kiyoko, securing a spot in the finals with a fantastic run all throughout this tournament. Solomon has had a great month and his reign as Hardcore Champion is off to an amazing start, so congratulations to the Hardcore Champion and potential King of Elite!
