February was another big month for EAW, as this month began with the first marquee event of the year, King of Elite! This show saw many fantastic matches, but in the main event was none other than the conclusion of the King of Elite tournament. This tournament took place throughout January, and this event would crown 2024’s King of Elite as Alex Myers, Joso and PJ Hendrx went at it! In the end the winner was none other than February’s Elitist of the Month, Joso! King of Elite is one of the biggest victories you could achieve in EAW, both because of its amazing history and because of the opportunity that comes with it, which is a future World Championship match. Joso is a former Interwire Champion and has already risen very high up the ranks throughout his time in EAW, but a victory like this takes him to the next level and shows the world that he is more than capable of eventually holding a World Championship. This is without a doubt the biggest victory he’s achieved in his career, as well as his biggest opportunity yet. King of Elite only comes around once a year, so Joso has definitely written his name in the history books with a win at this year’s event. Congratulations to 2024’s King of Elite!
