April was a very big month for EAW with the build to Grand Rampage, as the New Era Classic, Iconic Cup and Gold Rush tournaments were held, as were the events Super Voltage and Super Showdown! EAW had a lot to offer during the month of April, and one Elitist who had a standout month was the Answers World Champion, April’s Elitist of the Month, TLA! TLA had a huge match for himself this month as his Answers World Championship was put on the line in the main event of Super Showdown, defending his title against a former Hardcore and PURE Champion in Limmy Monaghan after Limmy was able to pin TLA and earn the opportunity in a tag team match. In the end, TLA was able to successfully retain his Answers World Championship for the second time in this title reign, successfully defeating Limmy Monaghan and once again keeping his title reign alive after already defending it in Dia Del Diablo’s main event back in March! TLA has had an impressive Championship reign since King of Elite, and he seemingly already has his next challengers lined up for him, meaning that his job is far from over, though this has never been something he’s taken issue with. Time will tell whether or not he is even able to once again retain his title at Grand Rampage, but after what he’s accomplished up to now, there’s no doubt that he is April’s Elitist of the Month.
