Dynasty 4/12/24

Dynasty 4/12/24

(EAW intro plays.)

(Friday Night Dynasty intro plays. After it’s done, a brief montage plays of last week’s show, capturing all of the highlights and important moments. The Dynasty logo splashes across the screen before we’re taken to a live shot of the arena. Transitioning inside, an overhead view gives way to the fans in attendance. They all jump up and down excitedly, waving to the cameras, and showing off signs as well as merch, supporting their favorite Dynasty Elitists. Eventually, Stew-O, Jake Mercer, and Flannery McCoy are shown off.)

Stew-O: HERE WE ARE! THE FINAL PIT STOP BEFORE GRAND RAMPAGE! WELCOME EVERYONE TO FRIDAY NIGHT DYNASTY! I AM STEW-O, AND AS ALWAYS, I AM JOINED BY JAKE MERCER AND FLANNERY MCCOY!

Jake Mercer: YESSIR! GRAND RAMPAGE IS AROUND THE CORNER! NEXT WEEKEND, THE ROAD TO PAIN FOR PRIDE OFFICIALLY BEGINS! TITLE MATCHES! INTENSE FEUDS COMING TO AN END! AND OF COURSE, WE CANNOT FORGET ABOUT THE 30-ELITIST MATCH THAT WILL DETERMINE WHO GETS TO GO AFTER A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF THEIR CHOOSING AT PAIN FOR PRIDE!

Flannery McCoy: THERE’S SO MUCH TO LOOK FORWARD TO, BUT RIGHT NOW, WE HAVE A HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED TRIPLE THREAT MATCH FEATURING SHISUI TATEGAMI, CHIYO GEDO, AND VINCENT MONDRIAN!

(The shot leaves the commentary team and transitions over to the ring where Stephie Love can be seen.)

Stephie Love: The following contest is a triple threat match scheduled for ONE FALL!

Crowd: ONE FALL!

(‘Under The Tree’ by SiM hits the speakers as Shisui Tategami makes his way out onto the stage, and begins to make his way down the ramp looking focused for tonight.)

Stephie Love: Introducing first! From Kyoto, Japan, weighing in at 180 pounds, The ‘BANISHED DEVIL!!!!” SHISUI TATEGAMI!!!!!!!!

(‘Geto’s True Identity’ by Yoshimasa Terui is next as Chiyo Gedo makes his way out onto the ramp, cold and calculated as he makes his way down to the ring.)

Stephie Love: Next! From Osaka, Japan, weighing in at 170 pounds, he is The ‘FACELESS TERMINATOR!!!!!’ CHIYO GEDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(And finally, ‘Lacrimosa – Epic Version’ by Samuel Kim would hit the speakers as Vincent Mondrian makes his way out onto the stage, ready for tonight. He makes his way down the ramp.)

Stephie Love: And finally! From Laren, Netherlands, weighing in at 205 pounds, he is The ‘RESOLUTE!!!!!’ VINCENT MONDRIAN!!!!!!!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Stew-O: And we are off! This triple threat, the only match that we are having on this go home show to Grand Rampage, but this one is a good evaluation of the future and what it may present in EAW! We have Shisui Tategami, a man who is vocal about his claims, but a man who isn’t afraid to stake his claim here with a victory tonight. We have Vincent Mondrian, who has had a couple dominant victories in EAW now. But he wants to keep stacking them up! And lastly we have Chiyo Gedo. These three men, well it’s been interesting. Chiyo outdates them the longest in EAW via time. But he also has fallen victim to Shisui Tategami, but all these men have caused each other to be on the short end of the stick, one way or another.. and now we circulate here, with that background check given to you on the three men in the ring, let’s now watch what they do first! Vincent, Shisui and Chiyo all remain in their respective corners. Pacing this match to see which frequency they wanna take!

Flannery McCoy: This match doesn’t only have implications of right now, being a winner in the moment, you have to think this triple threat is viewed as a scouting mission. This is for the people on Dynasty to see what they have, and immediately– all three men step up to the middle and Shisui Tategami wastes no time… FIRING AWAY FOREARMS AT CHIYO AND VINCENT! He nails Chiyo with a sitff forearm and Vincent with a stiff forearm! As he takes a step back, seeing which one approaches him first! And that would be Chiyo Gedo….WHO RESPONDS WITH A “HEATSEEKER” ELBOW ALREADY THIS EARLY ON AGAINST SHISUI TATEGAMI AS SHISUI GOES DOWN AND ROLLS OUT OF THE RING! That was huge from Chiyo Gedo early on, and smart for Shisui Tategami to roll out of the ring..

Jake Mercer: Shisui Tategami escapes furthermore damage from Chiyo Gedo, as Chiyo situates himself up, and sees Vincent Mondrian coming his direction, he tries to throw a forearm at Vincent, but Vincent catches his arm!! He begins to open up the hand of Chiyo Gedo, AND BEGINS BENDING HIS FINGERS BACKWARDS! You can see the pain in the eyes of Chiyo as Vincent does that! Before wait a second, HE PULLS CHIYO GEDO IN FOR A SUPLEX! CHIYO GOES DOWN HARD! Huge pick up by Vincent Mondrian, taking advantage of what Chiyo Gedo gave you. So far each man in the match has been able to establish a boundary! Chiyo Gedo rolls over into the corner as Vincent looks at his opponent.

Stew-O: This match is already starting off and beginning as fast it possibly could have. But this was expected and anticipated from Shisui, Chiyo and Vincent. All three of these men have had combination of battle the last couple months, so with that said, Vincent aligns Chiyo up in the corner, standing across the ring as he runs forward– NAILING CHIYO GEDO WITH A CORNER CLOTHESLINE! A huge clothesline into the corner, but Vincent is not done, looking for more.. as he builds distance again… AND HITS CHIYO WITH ANOTHER CLOTHESLINE! But again. Vincent Mondrian isn’t done! He sets Chiyo Gedo up again!

Flannery McCoy: Vincent not only doubling down, but proceeding to triple down! As he rushes at Chiyo Gedo for that third corner clothesline– BUT SHISUI TATEGAMI RE-ENTERS THE RING, AND VINCENT MONDRIAN WALKS DIRECTLY INTO A DISCUSS BIG BOOT FROM TATEGAMI! THE BIG BOOT TAKES OUT MONDRIAN! Very quick reaction time from Tategami, and with Chiyo Gedo in the corner, this is perfect timing for Shisui to go for the cover on Vincent!

ONEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOO!
THR–

Jake Mercer: Vincent gets the shoulder up at two! That was a quick from Shisui, as he now has a damaged Chiyo Gedo to work on, and that is exactly what he does, sitting Chiyo Gedo up in the corner– HE STARTS THROWING FOREARMS AT HIM CONTINUOUSLY! You can hear the impact and the force behind them, as Shisui Tategami is looking to rid the existence of Chiyo Gedo! One, two, three! Shisui is one of the toughest strikers here on Dynasty it has seemed in his young career, but despite that. He has been in this business for a long while. And he looks to eradicate Chiyo Gedo with one final forearm–

Stew-O: BUT CHIYO GEDO BEGINS TO FIGHT BACK! Getting the foot in there to push Shisui Tategami back, Shisui is taken back, as he comes forward again, looking to try and hurry, but Chiyo nails him with a forearm! Knocking him back further! Chiyo Gedo was doing a great job here… as he hit him a third time! Shisui was finally stumbled back enough by Chiyo, as Chiyo spun forward and grabbed Shisui… BEFORE DRILLING HIM BACK FIRST ONTO THE MAT WITH A URANAGE! Shisui goes hard against the mat! As Chiyo Gedo falls into the cover for the victory here!

ONEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOO!
THR–

Flannery McCoy: NO! VINCENT MONDRIAN BREAKS IT UP! Stomping Chiyo Gedo on the back! Saving the pinfall on Shisui and potentially keeping it later for himself! Vincent quickly moves forward as he pulls Chiyo Gedo up to his feet, and grabs him in the middle of the ring, BEFORE NAILING CHIYO GEDO WITH A URANAGE ONTO SHISUI TATEGAMI NOW! Chiyo hit Shisui with a uranage, and now Vincent is weaponizing Chiyo Gedo and dropping him onto Shisui! But this is how you get crafty in matches and situations like this, don’t focus too much on one person, and dishing out mutual onslaught. That is what Vincent is doing so far, as Vincent Mondrian is the man standing tall with time to recover! But time is only temporary and he understands that! As he picks Shisui Tategami up now, this time looking to hit that uranage on Shisui and use him as the weapon to take out Chiyo Gedo!

Jake Mercer: BUT SHISUI MANAGES TO GET OUT OF IT AS HE SWINGS HIMSELF AROUND AND THROWS VINCENT WITH A MASSIVE ARMDRAG! That armdrag sends Vincent across the ring as he scrambles back up to his feet, and Vincent looks to take advantage of it!!! BUT VINCENT CATCHES SHISUI! VINCENT CATCHES SHISUI… AND HE TAKES SHISUI OUT WITH ‘VAN GOH ASCENDANCY!!!!’ IT’S OVER! VINCENT ROLLS OVER AND HE HOOKS THE LEG ON SHISUI FOR THE VICTORY!

ONEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOO!
THRREEEEEEE!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER! VINCENT MONDRIAN!

(Vincent would get back up to his feet as ‘Lacrimosa – Epic Version’ hit the speakers once more. He would have his arm raised high into the air in victory by the referee, as Shisui Tategami rolls out of the ring in defeat, with Chiyo Gedo in the corner, as Dynasty fades out from there.)

(The camera cuts backstage to show Tyrone Montgomery’s nameplate on his office door, which prompts a loud ovation from fans, only growing louder as Tyrone then walks into the frame, standing alongside a returning Diamond Dixon, and Tyrone opens the door, allowing Dixon to enter first before following her inside. The camera then tracks the two as they enter to find Richard and Kensingten fiddling with something on the desk, back facing toward Tyrone and Diamond, having no idea that they just entered until-)

Tyrone Montgomery: Just the two people I was hoping to see.

(Startled, both Kensingten and Richard turn around, standing side-to-side in hopes of blocking whatever they placed on Tyrone’s desk. Though, both Tyrone and Diamond can tell that something is up.)

Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Funny you say that, because Richard and I were actually hoping to see you too.

(Tyrone is a bit surprised by this.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Is that so?

Richard Grant: Yes, because we knew you were coming back this week, and to celebrate… we got you something. 😏

(Richard and Kensingten step aside to reveal flowers in a vase placed on Tyrone’s desk, which leaves both Tyrone and Diamond to briefly glance at each other, equally unimpressed.)

Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Unfortunately, we didn’t get you anything, Diamond, but you’ll have to understand that your return came on short notice. 😬

(Diamond rolls her eyes while crossing her arms.)

Tyrone Montgomery: You guys shouldn’t have.

Richard Grant: Oh, it was no-

Tyrone Montgomery: No, really, you shouldn’t have, because I could care less about some cheap flowers you decided to buy me.

Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: :picard: Those are not cheap! I have you know that we-

Tyrone Montgomery: Save it. The real reason I wanted to see you is because, while the two of us have been away, you’ve made some real questionable decisions. Quite frankly, I feel as if you’ve overstepped, and in hindsight, Kensingten, I feel as if you had something to do with Diamond’s attack.

Richard Grant: Whoa. That’s a strong accusation there, Tyrone.

Tyrone Montgomery: You’re right, and I can’t prove it, but it is a little strange that you were so eager to assume control, isn’t it?

Richard Grant: Why you-

(Kensingten stops Richard, maintaining her composure, despite the accusation made.)

Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: It’s okay. I got this.

(Kensingten has a slight smugness in her attitude while addressing both Tyrone and Diamond.)

Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: As Richard said, that’s a strong accusation to make, Tyrone, but I had nothing to do with Diamond’s attack. In fact, I was looking forward to working alongside her. But obviously, things happened, and as you know, the show must go on. So, I stepped up, and did the best I could with Dynasty while you were gone. With that said, I’m struggling to see what it is that you’re so upset about.

Tyrone Montgomery: :cmon: Diamond, you want to tell em?

Diamond Dixon: Hm, let’s see. Our issue is that, for someone only in charge for two weeks, you sure have been making lots of moves in regards to one of our biggest shows of the season.

(Diamond starts to count on her fingers.)

Diamond Dixon: First, you have Bronson enter the Grand Rampage at number one.

Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Hold on. That isn’t my fault, it was simply luck of the draw.

Diamond Dixon: I’m not finished. Next, I’m told there’s a surprise Grand Rampage entrant. Need I go on?

(Diamond gets in Kensingten’s face, which intimidates her a bit, but Tyrone Montgomery steps in, pulling Diamond back slightly, and Richard swoops in to comfort Kensingten after that “traumatic experience.” Tyrone turns back to the duo.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Diamond’s actually reminded me. I’ve been asking around about that surprise entrant of yours, and no one seems to have a clue on who it is. So, I’m going straight to the source herself. Who is it?

Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: 🤨

Tyrone Montgomery: Oh, don’t play dumb with me. Who is the surprise entrant?

Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Well, it wouldn’t be a surprise anymore if I told you.

(Tyrone takes a deep breath, annoyed.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Fine, if you won’t tell me… Richard.

(Tyrone turns to Richard Grant.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Who is the surprise entrant?

Richard Grant: Don’t look at me. I’m just in the dark as you are. She’s refused to tell me also.

Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: That’s right, and if I wouldn’t tell Richard, then there’s no way I’m telling you, Tyrone. You’ll have to find out like everybody else, and that’s in the actual match itself. But I promise you, it won’t disappoint.

(Tyrone rubs his temple, frustrated, but ultimately decides to shrug it off.)

Tyrone Montgomery: It’s clear that you’re not going to tell me anything, so you know what? I won’t bother asking anymore. Instead, I’ll leave you with a warning. That’s to never do anything like this ever again.

(Kensingten puts both hands up.)

Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: You have my word.

Richard Grant: Both our words.

Tyrone Montgomery: Great. Now, show yourselves out of my office.

(Both Kensingten and Richard nod to Tyrone, keepong their heads down as they begin to leave, but are stopped.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Wait.

(Kensingten and Richard back up, returning to face both Tyrone and Diamond again.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Take the flowers with you.

(Richard grabs the flowers off the desk, and walks away, alongside Kensingten. But while they’re leaving out the door, the camera catches a glimpse of their faces, showing the two exchanging a mischievous smirk behind Tyrone and Diamond’s backs. Tyrone shakes his head, annoyed with the two, but shrugs it off, and discusses something with Diamond Dixon as the camera fades elsewhere.)

(A commercial play for Grand Rampage, featuring the 30 Elitist battle royale of the same name.)

(The camera cuts backstage to Bronson Daniels in street clothes, sitting down in his locker room, but clearly deep in thought. The Ball Arena cheer at seeing Bronson, who has become such a fan favorite. Though, Bronson notices something off screen, and stands up, facing toward… Tyrone Montgomery, who enters the frame. Bronson extends his hand, which Tyrone doesn’t hesitate to shake, promoting more cheers from the EAW crowd.)

Bronson Daniels: Welcome back.

Tyrone Montgomery: It’s good to be back. Though, I wish I could’ve been here last week.

(Bronson scoffs, amused.)

Bronson Daniels: Yeah, same.

Tyrone Montgomery: I’m sorry, I had no idea that Kensingten would do something like that, but I should’ve expected it. That woman is always up to no good.

(Bronson shrugs in agreement, believing Tyrone has a point.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Plus, I think it’s no coincidence that it was you of all people that drew number one.

Bronson Daniels: Yeah, I figured, especially since I was handpicked by her, and the two of us were never suddenly friends.

Tyrone Montgomery: Look, if there was any way to reverse this, I would. But last week, and it’s not fair to the others to give solely you a second chance.

(Bronson remains calm about the whole ordeal.)

Bronson Daniels: It’s cool. Kensingten wants a reaction out of me, but I’m not going to give her the satisfaction. In fact, I’m not going to let being number one stop me from winning the entire thing.

(The crowd cheers.)

Bronson Daniels: Tyrone, this is the main event of Pain for Pride we’re talking about. I could have a chance at regaining the World Heavyweight Championship. While I could stand here, and be upset by the hand I was dealt, either way, it’s a huge opportunity at Grand Rampage.

(Tyrone nods.)

Bronson Daniels: Besides, it’s not the first time that the odds have been stacked against me, is it? You remember Pain for Pride last year, right? Having to deal with both Bronson Daniels AND Albert Hitchman. Didn’t stop me from winning. I had to defend my championship against Xander Payne, and had Ryan Wilson running interference as well. Still, didn’t stop me from winning.

(Tyrone cracks a smirk, impressed, but also slightly shocked at Bronson Daniels’ mindset heading into Grand Rampage.)

Tyrone Montgomery: Most men would’ve complained, Bronson, but not you. I must say, that’s admirable, and I wish you good luck heading into Grand Rampage.

Bronson Daniels: Thanks, I appreciate you trying to look out for me. But I’m ready to face this challenge head on, and do whatever it takes to win this year’s Grand Rampage.

Tyrone Montgomery: Well, of all the people representing Dynasty in that match, I think you have a high chance of walking out victorious.

Bronson Daniels: We’ll see.

Tyrone Montgomery: Alright, well, that’s all I came here for. Again, good luck. Try not getting dumped over the top rope.

(Tyrone flashes a smirk before walking off, and Tyrone sits back down, returning to his thoughts as the camera fades elsewhere.)

(Friday Night Dynasty returns as ‘Loose Change (Instrumental)’ by The Alchemist is heard blasting through the speakers of the arena. The crowd starts to boo loudly as the camera goes over to Shizno Sasaki who is seen slowly making his way out to the stage. He has a serious expression on his face as he adjusts the collar on his suit before then making his way down the ramp and toward the ring from there.)

Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… SHINZO SASAKI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Shinzo makes his way up the steel steps and onto the apron, entering into the ring as he heads over and takes a microphone from the ringside area. ‘Loose Change (Instrumental)’, from there, begins to come to a close as Shinzo takes a moment to bask in the crowd’s reaction toward him. He then begins to speak.)

Shinzo Sasaki: When I first arrived in Elite Answers Wrestling, it was an empathic statement for all. KAI-ZEN was billed to be the most dominant faction that this company has ever seen, and I was at the forefront. Admittingly, what happened afterward is not something I have the fondest memories of, but regardless, one thing that didn’t change was the vast amount of potential that I had in my hands. See, while the rest of the members in my group floundered, I excelled in any situation that I was in. Put me in the Cash in The Vault tournament, I would go to the finals and nearly win the entire thing, just barely coming up short of Charlie Marr. But put Charlie and I in a rematch, at a time when he felt he had hit his second peak, and I would beat him. Even in my lows, when I face the likes of Ronan Malosi for the Interwire Championship or I have to waste my time carrying the load for the likes of Mig De Decker or Prince Tohru, there are always bright sides, but that doesn’t mean I’m satisfied with that. I am not going to be content with uncertainties, not knowing whether this moment or the next is going to be mine. I’m not just going to be content with waiting in the back while every other person in front of me manages to get ahead, I’ve already wasted far too much time, and I don’t plan on wasting more. So while people call it farfetched for me to try and hunt down big game, I call it an opportunity. Since day one I have been going after as many big names as possible, and the list of people that I have faced and beaten from the time that I arrived here on Friday Night Dynasty is telling of how far that has gotten me. I’m not here to play second fiddle to anyone else. I’m not going to bide my time and wait for the right opportunity like everyone else because quite frankly that is pathetic and pointless. I’m going to seize my moment whether that is by chance or by force, and I’m going to make sure that by the time I am through there are absolutely zero people who can end up contesting it not just on this roster but in this entire company. This is why one by one I have plucked away at the Dynasty roster, including a certain someone… including Milli Banks.

(Shinzo smirks as the crowd cheers loudly for the former Specialists Champion’s name. He nods his head with a look of amusement on his face as he begins to pace around the ring, continuing to speak from there.)

Shinzo Sasaki: It’s amusing how things have gone down these past couple of weeks, seeing Milli’s approach toward a match against me, that is to be expected. When I came out and issued the challenge I was met with backlash, not many people thought that I could square up to her especially after her major win at Operation: Doomsday, but those who thought that have not seen what I have managed to do in this company. Those who want to think that for even a second do not understand it like I do. She messed up, and she messed up badly thinking that she could treat me as any other cookie-cutter rookie. She thought that she could just toss me to the side and discard me, look at me as some sort of hurdle in her way toward what she believes is a guaranteed World Championship right into the palm of her hands. Well, she is going to end up paying dearly for that, and I promised from the very beginning that her arrogance would lead to her downfall, and look where we are now. It brings a smile to my face knowing what I’ve been able to do to her as of late. I hope she truly understands the magnitude of a match against me before it’s too late because it’s a shame with all this potential that she promises to have for it to all crash to the ground because of pure, naive ignorance. If she really wants to go ahead and take the challenge that I gave her lightly, then she is more than welcome to do that, but she saw what I did, she saw what I am able to do. When I costed her in her match against Joso, did you honestly think that I was going to sit around and let her give me disrespect when I could take the opportunity to show her otherwise? She must be one foolish girl if she thinks to trust me like that. Grand Rampage is in a week’s time and with that, the time has nearly come. And I’ll make sure that I’ll drop her just like I did a few weeks ago, only this time it’s going to be even more impactful when I stand above your body with my hand raised in victory.

(Shinzo leans against the ropes as the crowd boos loudly for this, a smirk continuing to show on his face as he looks around at the ruckus crowd here tonight.)

Shinzo Sasaki: You can boo all you want but what you cannot deny yourself of is the truth. And the truth is that it is only a matter of time before i get what I feel I deserve in this company and that is a Championship. It’s been a long time coming and it’s been a hard fight, but these tribulations strengthen a man, and they have made me into what I feel is the best version of myself yet. Even Supernovas are meant to die eventually, and at Grand Rampage that is what is going to end up happening to poor Milli Banks, and I’m going to watch her downfall with a smile on my face knowing that everything that I said about her leading up to this point was right. You can either heed my warning or face the reality when the time comes, either way, it ends with me winning when it is all said and done.

(Shinzo drops his microphone down to the ground,a nd as his theme is about to hit and he’s going to take his leave, suddenly… the crowd roars.)

Stew-O: WAIT! FROM BEHIND! MILLI BANKS! SHE SLIDES INTO THE RING AND TURNS HIM AROUND BEFORE TAKING HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH PUNCHES TO THE FACE! SHINZO IS TAKEN OFFGUARD AS HE’S DOING WHAT HE CAN TO FIGHT BACK! MILLI IS LANDING FURIOUS PUNCHES ACROSS THE FACE OF SHINZO, AND THIS HAS TURNED INTO A BRAWL RIGHT HERE AND NOW!

Flannery McCoy: BUT THIS DOESN’T MEAN THAT SHINZO IS GOING TO GO DOWN QUIETLY EITHER! HE ROLLS HER OVER ONTO HER BACK AND BEGINS TO SEND SOME SHOTS OF HER OWN DOWN ON HER! MILLI IS SQUIRMING AWAY AS SHE SHOVES HIM AWAY WITH FORCE! SHINZO ROLLS UP TO HIS FEET AS MILLI RUSHES FORWARD, GOING FOR A STRIKE- BUT THAT’S BEFORE SHINZO DUCKS UNDER THAT AND TURNS AROUND BEFORE LIFTING MILLI UP AND DROPPING HER DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH AN GERMAN SUPLEX! MILLI IS DROPPED ONTO HER HEAD BUT QUCIKLY MANAGES TO GET UP!

Jake Mercer: AS SHINZO TURNS HER AROUND AND GRABS HER INTO ‘MADVILLAINY’! EXPLODER ‘98 TO MILLI-

Stew-O: BUT MILLI MANAGES TO SLIP OUT OF IT BEFORE SPINNING AROUND…

Flannery McCoy: AND CONNECTING WITH THE SALIDA DEL SOL! ‘BANKRUPT’ CONNECTS AND IT’S MILLI THAT GETS THE LAST LAUGH HEADING INTO GRAND RAMPAGE!

(Milli looks down at an unconscious Shinzo with a pissed off expression on her face, taking a microphone and speaking.)

Milli Banks: At Grand Rampage… your ass is done for.

(Milli slams her microphone down to the ground once she’s done as ‘Changed It’ by Nicki Minaj ft. Lil Wayne is heard playing through the speakers of the arena. She stands over his body with a serious expression on her face as the crowd goes berserk for her. It’s the last shot seen as Friday Night Dynasty fades elsewhere from there.)

(A commercial plays for EAW 2K24.)

(The scene opens up to the moment Michael Machina won the New Breed Championship at House Of Glass. A commentary done by the man himself starts before he appears on the screen himself.)

Michael Machina: 174 days of the most dominant and untouchable champion in this entire belt’s lineage. Let’s not kid ourselves and admit that my firm grip on this championship has been unparalleled.

(As he says this, replays of Michael’s various title defenses and other moments where he stood tall show.)

Michael Machina: The amount of names on the list that said they would, but showed they couldn’t, only continues to keep growing the longer I hold onto the New Breed Championship. The New Breed of Legends isn’t just a nickname. It’s a warning to anyone who thinks they can simply step up and take this from me. Time after time I’ve proven to every single new breed that has tried that you can’t take this from me. I’m holding onto this until I’m tired of holding it. Whether that’s something you want to admit or deny, is none of my concern. In the end every bulletproof vest they claim to have isn’t made to stop the Bullet From Hell.

(Clips of Damien Kutcher being victorious start to flash on screen before Michael scoffs.)

Michael Machina: You think yours will be any different, Kutcher? A name amongst others that certainly stands out from the crowd; yet I don’t see why I should fear that you are going to be the one. I see no reason to think that I’m not going to show up at Grand Rampage and defend the New Breed Championship successfully. A guy that’s starting to take EAW by storm and get the fans riled up behind him. Good for you. You’re doing well. Just like every single guy that came up to me and thought they’d make me break. They get hyped up, packaged as the big new breed you should look out for. But when they arrive at the peak, they come face-to-face with who actually has that title.

(Clips of Machina hitting various Bullet From Hells to challengers alike start to play.)

Michael Machina: This is the exact same story. The same tale is told in a different font. But I’m not tired of reliving this tale over and over again. I enjoy being at the top of this division. I enjoy having an iron hold over this championship. It makes me happy, every time I reiterate what I’ve already proven. Over and over again, I’ve proven that when someone reaches for my spot, I stomp them back down. Ask your Codys, Tohrus, BRAEs… All of them wanted this. All of them wanted to be the New Breed Of Legends and I showed all of them that much like Damien Kutcher, they can’t. They let the success against Elitists that are quite frankly, nowhere near my level, cloud their vision. And that makes them blindly walk straight into their tombstone.

(Clips of Machina and Kutcher together start to play with them coming face-to-face.)

Michael Machina: People see you as a future star and for good reason. I’m not going to deny greatness when I see it. But you need to be realistic. You may have been to show people that you’re something great in the future. But what sets me apart from you is that I’ve shown everyone that I’m going to be immortal. You are memories from a kid’s childhood. I’m history. You have become a future star in your own right. And while that’s cute and all, it doesn’t mean a single thing to me. I’ve beaten Elitists of every caliber. Bottom of the barrel losers all the way up to bonafide stars. There’s not a single level I haven’t been able to flourish at. All while I’m only getting started here in EAW. I’m nowhere near done either. Not with this company, but also not with this championship. I’ve faced everyone at every level, even people that they thought would be at mine. Look at where all of them are right now. Nowhere near me.It’s a shame how many people step up to me and kill all momentum they had. They let their egos get hyperinflated for whatever reason they have to think they can just match what I bring to the squared circle. But then when it is time to show that they actually have what it takes to topple the guy on top, they fail miserably. They get tossed back to the bottom of the mountain and are forced to scratch and claw back up to me. And when they get here, they get thrown back down. The latest climber to make it to the top, only to be tossed straight back down; Damien Kutcher. You’ll face the exact same fate as everyone that came before you.

(Michael shakes his head disappointedly. Clips of Machina celebrating after his defenses play.)

Michael Machina: It’s the same ending, with the only difference being the unlucky bastard who fails at being the protagonist.

(Machina adjusts himself in his seat as he picks up the New Breed Championship and holds it up to the camera.)

Michael: There isn’t much for you to look out for for Damien at Grand Rampage. All he’ll be faced with is him falling flat and unfortunately, seeing himself be added to a list where he’ll be nothing but another name. When all is said and done, Damien Kutcher won’t be the guy who did the impossible and beat Michael Machina for the New Breed Championship. Take a good look at it, because this is something that as long as I hold it, you won’t have. When it comes to the reign of Michael Machina, Damien Kutcher won’t be any different as defense #5. At Grand Rampage, the story of the New Breed of Legend will continue untouched.

(Michael stands up out of his chair as the scene switches to one more shot of Machina with the New Breed Championship held high. Soon after, the scene faded out.)

(Friday Night Dynasty returns as the sounds of ‘Pride and Arrogance’ by Takeru Kanazaki begins to blast through the speakers of the arena. The camera goes over to the Interwire Champion Drake Armstrong who is seen beginning to make his way out from the backstage area. He has a pompous grin on his face as he looks toward the ring, then beginning to make his way down the ramp.)

Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… the EAW INTERWIRE CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!! DRAKE ARMSTRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stew-O: Well we’ve seen these past couple of weeks these issues coming to a head with Drake and his challenger at Grand Rampage, MITSU. And it seems like he has some final thoughts about everything that has happened.

Flannery McCoy: Drake is marching down with unparalleled confidence, and it’s as though he feels his win next week is predetermined.

Jake Mercer: That’s my GOAT. :wow: He probably bribed the referee or something.

(Drake makes his way up the steel steps and onto the apron before entering into the ring. He takes his title and raises it into the air to the boo of the crowd before he then makes his way over and takes a microphone from the ringside area. ‘Pride and Arrogance’, from there, begins to fade out as Drake then begins to speak.)

Drake Armstrong: I demand you all to silence yourselves, I have a microphone and I have something way more important to say than all of you ne’er-do-wells sitting in the crowd tonight! For far longer than I care to admit, I have had to put up with the childish antics of MITSU, who deludes himself as a worthy challenger for me and my Interwire Championship. I had the displeasure to be reminded of just how unserious and downright disgraceful my so-called “challenger” is and I can say without any hesitation that he still isn’t worth my time. He isn’t worth an hour, a minute, or a second. If he thinks that he is, then he is just as uneducated and moronic as all of you cretins that fill this arena with an unbearable stench.

Drake Armstrong: MITSU will never be Interwire Champion, I am trying to tell him this not as a way to degrade him even if I have no problem doing so. I am telling him this to protect him from his own stubbornness. He is not ready to carry this responsibility on his shoulders. He simply isn’t mature enough to carry this gold to where it needs to be. If these past few weeks showed me anything, it’s that he might not even be ready to step foot in this ring with me, title match or no title match. We are in two different worlds, he’s desperate and I am perfectly defined. If MITSU is too much of a drooling Neanderthal to pick up on that. It means that our skill gaps are not close and when you arrive at Grand Rampage, I will give you a death fitting for a jester! You will learn once and for all, why Drake Armstrong is the future and why you don’t have one-

(Appearing on the titantron was MITSU, the crowd began to erupt into cheers for his appearance but it quickly made Drake Armstrong angrier.)

MITSU: Blah! Blah! Blah! Drake come on, do you ever get sick of hearing yourself talk? Who am I kidding of course you don’t. But I know that the crowd is. I mean just listen to them boo you.

Drake Armstrong: What is-

(The crowd boos!)

Drake Armstrong: What is-

(The crowd boos!)

Drake Armstrong: WHAT IS IT THIS TIME?!

MITSU: Listen, I know that you are full of yourself. You think you are untouchable, you think that no matter who it is that you will overcome the odds and beat them because you’re Drake Armstrong. Right? I know I’m right, that’s just the person you are. So I know when you hear that I’m your opponent for Grand Rampage, you think of me as meat in the lion’s den. But you’re completely wrong about me and what I am capable of. I’m a problem that you don’t have an answer to, I’m the man who knows how to get under your skin and throw you off your game. Don’t believe me? How about I show you first hand? Let me just step over them…

(MITSU steps over Drake Armstrong’s unconscious security guards! Armstrong was confused, looking at the titantron closely. To his shock, he would see his Rolls Royce come into the frame with MITSU standing right beside it with a mischievous grin.)

MITSU: Woah, is this a Rolls Royce? This one is really nice. How much does this cost? Looks custom.

Drake Armstrong: THAT COST MORE THAN YOUR HOUSE! IT COST MORE THAN EVERY ORGAN IN YOUR BODY! YOU BETTER NOT TOUCH IT!

MITSU: You don’t say? Well, let’s see how much it costs when I do a little…remodeling.

(MITSU grabs a crowbar and immediately breaks the side rear mirror off of the car! Going to the right side and doing the same! Drake Armstrong in the ring was in a panic, watching MITSU destroy his property!)

MITSU: Oh this is no good, your headlights are busted!

(MITSU swings the crowd bar and completely busts the headlights! The left one and then the one on the right! The crowd was getting into it while Drake couldn’t even watch the titantron.)

MITSU: Come on Armstrong I thought you were smarter, why are you driving around with a shattered windshield?

(MITSU once more brought down the crowbar multiple times onto the windshield, until it cracked it into a thousand shards of glass!)

MITSU: You also need a new paint job, it looks like…

(MITSU uses the crowbar and scraps the side of his car with the sharp edge, creating a long line on the side of his car! Damaging the paint on the car.)

MITSU: Oh yeah, I’m not going to lie, whatever you paid for this…you should get a refund. Maybe I can help you with some repairs, how about a new paint job?

(Grabbing a paint bucket from off-screen, MITSU dumps the green paint on top of Rolls Royce hood! That was all Drake could take, running up the ramp and to the backstage area to confront MITSU! He ran as quickly as he could, the cameraman chasing him to see if they could catch the fight that was about to break out with MITSU. However, when he got to the parking lot, all that was there was his destroyed Rolls Royce and a sticky note: “See you at Grand Rampage. – MITSU”)

(Drake crumbles it up and throws it on the ground! He looks over at his security guards who were just now getting up from the beating. Grabbing one of them by the collar and yelling in their face!)

Drake Armstrong: THIS IS COMING OUT OF YOUR PAYCHECK! I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU LET THIS HAPPEN!

(He walks off-screen in a huff, the scene fades to black lingering on the damage done to his car.)

(A commercial plays for KPot. Hot pot and Korean BBQ? Sign us up!)

(‘2024’ by Playboi Carti hits, igniting a passionate response from the fans. Everyone is up on their feet as Joso steps on stage, letting his presence known. He looks around for a moment and nods. The King of Elite then strides down the ramp and to the ring, nodding his head along to the music, confident as always.)

Stephie Love: Ladies and gentleman, introducing at this time, the 2024 King of Elite… ‘The New Era’, JOOOOOOOOOOOSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Stew-O: A young man who has achieved so much already in his young career, yet still has more to do. There’s no limit to Joso and his ambitions. When he wants something, he goes after it, and for him, he looks to get a win over Jamie O’Hara.

Jake Mercer: It’s a clash of two aces, two leaders, two icons, and it’s a match I’m certainly looking forward to, as does the rest of the EAW universe! Things have definitely been heated up between these two, so it’s interesting to see how their match will turn out!

Flannery McCoy: And all the while, it’ll be interesting to hear what Joso has to say as he enters the ring and is given a microphone.

(The camera cuts to the shot of Joso standing in the middle of the ring. After a while, his theme song fades. The fans continue to cheer for him before he smirks and speaks.)

Joso: Well, we’re getting there. In just one week, Grand Rampage will be here, and before long, I will be in the ring with one of the greatest to ever do it: Jamie O’Hara.

(More cheers ring out upon hearing his name.)

Joso: You know, in big-time situations like these, I used to get nervous. I think a lot of people in my position do. I can’t lie that there have been times where I got those butterflies in my stomach, that little tension in my chest, realizing that a big match is on the horizon for me. But as it stands now? I ain’t nervous. If anything, I feel more than prepared for the task that awaits me next weekend, because I’ve beaten some of the best on this brand and in this promotion to make it this far in my career. I’m locked in, possibly the most I have been ever, and I’m ready. I said it since the start of this season that I only wanted to face the top names, to prove myself against them and win, and this match right here is no exception to that. People can say that I bit off more than I could chew, but honestly? I don’t care. It’s nothing new to me. I’ve been told that over and over again, and when people wanna chat, or when Jamie wants to throw in his two cents and act as if I’m incapable of beating him, it doesn’t bother me. It just fires me up even more to get the job done, and trust me, at Grand Rampage, I will be the one with my arm getting raised.

Joso: Of course, it ain’t about to be an easy feat for me. I acknowledged that much, but it seems like Jamie has gotten things lost in translation. I ain’t out here trying to treat him as some kind of old head who has seen better days. I mean, he has been flip flopping here and there, but that’s besides the point. Ultimately, I respect him. I admire all that he has done and accomplished. He was the one who set the pace for people like me to follow behind, but now, I wanna be at the forefront. I want it to be known that my time is now here, and while Jamie may not like the idea of being a stepping stone, ultimately, that’s what he’s gonna be. But again, I mean no disrespect when I say that. I’m just hungry and far beyond driven. Ain’t nothing wrong with that, is there? Especially when Jamie was in my shoes once upon a time and was looking to make a name for himself just as I have been doing all throughout my time here.

Joso: That’s why I’m not in the camp of treating Jamie like any other competitor. If I even thought of doing that, then the match may as well be over. Jamie is far from ordinary. He fought tooth and nail to be hailed as one of the greatest Elitists to have ever stepped foot inside this promotion. I’ve given him all the praise I can, in fact. I acknowledge what he has done and all he has lived up to be. However, that doesn’t make him immortal. It doesn’t make him better than me. It doesn’t make him untouchable. Jamie wants to talk about my arrogance, but homie’s been downplaying me a bit, and I ain’t gonna settle for that. Just because you’re a legend doesn’t mean you get to treat me anyway you see fit. I know my worth, what I am capable of doing, and as far as I’m concerned, I know I have what it takes to beat him next week. He may not buy into it, but I’m gonna do it. Just like I’ve been able to make everyone buy into me being the future of this place, I’ll prove it to him right there and then in the middle of the ring that the King never misses. He always gets his shot.

Joso: I belong at the top. I belong in conversations about who’s the greatest. All it takes is for one moment to truly reach that next level, and at Grand Rampage, it’s gonna be my moment. All the talk is over and done with. I’m gonna make sure my future World Championship tour starts off on the right foot, and it’s gonna kick off with me beating hi—

(‘Kashmir’ by Led Zepplin cuts through Joso’s words, sparking a round of cheers from the crowd. Jamie O’Hara steps out, having a microphone in hand, keeping his gaze locked on Joso. Joso, all the while, narrows his eyes at him, seeing the Ace approaching closer.)

Stew-O: And look who’s here yet again! The Ace is making his presence felt on Dyansty, all while he approaches his upcoming opponent!

Jake Mercer: This could be either interesting, or get real ugly real fast. We already saw these two put each other down before, so I wouldn’t be surprised if a fight breaks out!

Flannery McCoy: It’s already been a chaotic night as is. Then again, I’m sure the fans here wouldn’t mind seeing these two duke it out — just as much as they’re curious about what Jamie has to say directly to Joso.

(Jamie eventually gets in the ring, and when his music fades, he stares down Joso. It’s an intense shot, but the fans cheer, even dueling with each other. Some favor Joso, while others favor Jamie. However, the two men care little for them as all they’re focused on is each other. Eventually, Joso breaks the sharp silence between them.)

Joso: Oh, so you ain’t in the jumping mood this time, huh?

Jamie O’Hara: There is no need for that. Nevermind the fact that you’ve gotten yourself involved in my business before, but no matter. I gave you my message already, and it has been clearly sent. You are not on my level, and you never will be.

Joso: Alright, bruh. If you say so. 🙄

Jamie O’Hara: Joso, think for a moment. How can you possibly compare to me and my undying legacy? Even with me not being a world champion at the present moment, my grasp on this promotion is still prevalent and strong. It hasn’t weakened, even with me at some of my lowest points. You made that little quip earlier about how my time in EAW since returning has been inconsistent, but the one thing that isn’t is my value. My name. My aura. My presence. Every single simpleton such as yourself aspire to have all that I have done, whereas you? Well, let’s be honest — who exactly aspires to be like Joso?

Jamie O’Hara: For all of the cute achievements you have been able to rack up, they aren’t anything meaningful. There’s nothing wrong with being confident, but like I told you last time, you have to curb it and be realistic. The simple fact is that you are not me. Never will be. You think that Grand Rampage will be the event where you’ll be able to stake your claim to fame off of my name, but that’s not how it’s going to go down, Joso. You will be yet another plucky, overachieving, inexperienced “star” who pushes their luck against the ace and fails miserably.

Joso: Is that so?

Jamie O’Hara: I know so. You will not be beating me.

Jamie O’Hara: You will fall before your one true Ace, “King”. You’re not special. I have seen special, and quite frankly, Joso? You don’t belong in that conversation. That’s a lesson you’ll learn to accept soon enough once I defeat you.

(Joso’s brows furrow in disbelief. He opens his mouth to speak, but Jamie leaves with the last word. O’Hara is out of the ring, with a pissed off Joso looking on, shaking his head.)

Stew-O: What a trade in words. Jamie O’Hara said it plainly as could be: he doesn’t think Joso is anything special. That certainly has rubbed the King of Elite the wrong way.

Jake Mercer: It certainly has. Jamie may either prove that to be true or his words will come back to haunt him.

Flannery McCoy: At least we won’t have to wait long to see how this will play out.

(Dynasty then fades to commercials.)

(The camera returns to the commentary table where Stew-O begins to speak.)

Stew-O: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Dynasty and we are just eight days away from the annual Grand Rampage event which, of course, is headlined by the 30-Person Grand Rampage where the winner will–

(Stew-O gets cut off by the sound of ‘Did You See the Sunrise?’ By Chogakusei playing throughout the arena. Seconds later, Jay Jerry Johnson enters the arena to a mixed reaction from the crowd. He has a determined look on his face as he heads to the ring.)

Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time… JAY! JERRY! JOHNSON!

Jake Mercer: Looks like Jay had something to say and he couldn’t wait until Stew stopped speaking to come out here. Not gonna lie, it was a little funny.

Flannery McCoy: Jay has really come into his own this season and he is looking to push himself to the next level.

(Jay walks over to the timekeeper’s area and grabs a microphone from Stephie Love. Jay then enters the ring and stands front and center as his entrance music slowly fades off.)

Jay Jerry Johnson: You know, for the last few months, things have been a little bit rocky for me. Outside of beating up Hans Grayson of course.

Flannery McCoy: He just loves to stick the knife in deeper about that doesn’t he?

Jay Jerry Johnson: But my reasoning for coming out here wasn’t to relive the past. It’s about wanting an opportunity. I feel like the window is starting to close a little faster on being able to make a substantial impact this season. Sure I am a former Interwire Champion, but I really feel like I can do so much more.

(Jay pauses for a moment, letting his words sink in as he smirks before continuing on.)

Jay Jerry Johnson: So that is why I have decided to ENTER THE GRAND RAMPAGE MATCH!

(The crowd cheers at the announcement. Jay is not the most popular on the roster, but the crowd loves seeing competitors in the Grand Rampage.)

Stew-O: Looks like another member of Dynasty is throwing their hat into the fight with Jay declaring for the Grand Rampage.

Jake Mercer: Don’t see why. All to lose to the Kaiser.

Jay Jerry Johnson: You see, I couldn’t think of a bigger or better way to make my impact than to win the Grand Rampage and go on to the main event of Pain for Pri–

(Now Jay is the one getting cut off as “Duel of The Fates- Epic Version (Remastered)” starts playing and BRAE comes out on the entrance ramp and makes his way to the ring.)

Flannery McCoy: We shouldn’t be surprised this is happening as one of the rising stars of Dynasty in BRAE is making his way to the ring. He has a microphone in hand and it looks like he also has something on his mind.

(BRAE enters the ring with the microphone in his hand as he steps up to Jay as his music fades off.)

BRAE: Hold on a second, Jay. I heard what you had to say and to be quite honest, I really agree with what you have to say. I agree with what you said and what you believe because of the simple fact that I feel the same way.

Jay Jerry Johnson: That’s nice and all, but be honest with yourself, BRAE! It’s great that you agree with me and we share the same sentiments, but when compared to me, I don’t think you have what it takes to go the distance.

(That remark gets a reaction from the crowd and BRAE didn’t appreciate that response from Jay.)

BRAE: What in the world do you mean by that?

Jay Jerry Johnson: Think about it, BRAE! You haven’t put in the work. You haven’t dedicated yourself to reaching a higher level in your career. To reach a level that I am already at.

BRAE: You just keep on talking and running your mouth because I hope that I am able to prove you wrong, Jay. You know what? I think I am going to prove you wrong at Grand Rampage because I AM GOING TO ENTER THE GRAND RAMPAGE MYSELF!

Jay Jerry Johnson: Is that how you’re going to prove me wrong? You think that’s gonna help?

BRAE: If it means throwing you out, then I am willing to give it a try.

(BRAE and Jay continue arguing in the ring before the sound of “Out of the Black” by Royal Blood interrupts them and Mig De Decker enters the arena to the sound of boos from the crowd as he heads to the ring.)

Stew-O: Well it looks like things are starting to heat up on Dynasty right now as Mig De Decker is making his way to the ring. So far it’s been all about the Grand Rampage, so will Mig De Decker be next?

Flannery McCoy: He very well could be. The former KAI-ZEN member is looking for his big break and his big opportunity to shine on his own. We’ll find out if that’s the case.

(Mig enters the ring after grabbing a microphone and gets in the ring to join the party as his entrance music fades off.)

Mig De Decker: I have heard you two going on about wanting an opportunity to prove yourselves around here, but I am here to tell you both that your situation isn’t that special.

Mig De Decker: Just like the two of you, I have hit a rough patch of my own that I need to find a way out of. But I’m not stupid. I know that turning things around isn’t going to be easy. To be honest, the only way that I can see myself getting my career back on track is the Grand Rampage. That’s right. I AM STAKING MY CLAIM IN THE GRAND RAMPAGE MATCH AS WELL!

Jay Jerry Johnson: Well that’s nice and all, but what exactly have you accomplished? Do you really think that you can win the Grand Rampage match?

Mig De Decker: Well I can ask you the same question. You think that just because you’re a former Champion that it means that you have a better chance than me? Get over yourself!

BRAE: Anyone would have a better chance than you considering you’ve amounted to nothing, especially as a singles competitor.

(The three in the ring continue this back and forth bickering for a moment until they are pulled away from their argument as ‘Lord Knows’ by Drake (feat. Rick Ross) starts playing and Cody Maverick enters the arena. He also has a microphone in hand and a smirk on his face as he heads to the ring.)

Jake Mercer: FINALLY! Somebody who has a legitimate claim to the Grand Rampage throne has entered the arena. This superstar is going to put the other three in their places.

Flannery McCoy: Cody has been in the ring with some of the best Dynasty has to offer this season. He is looking to continue to prove himself in EAW and he could be looking at his next opportunity!

(Cody slides into the ring and makes sure that his presence is felt. He smirks at all the competitors in the ring and they respond with annoyed looks or eye rolls as his music fades off.)

Cody Maverick: Ain’t this cute? The three of you out here bickering amongst yourselves trying to tell the world, each other, and yourselves why you are deserving of an opportunity like this.

Cody Maverick: While the three of you have been running your mouths for far too long talking about it, I don’t need to talk about it. I don’t need words to show why I am the very best. All I have to do is prove it in the ring and I will get my point across much faster than all of you yapping.

(The three other men in the ring are just staring daggers through this egotistical, yet talented competitor before Cody continues speaking.)

Cody Maverick: Which is why I have also decided to enter the Grand Rampage match. Besides, someone like me would be a much better fit as the winner than any of you three losers.

Jay Jerry Johnson: Do you wanna say that again?

Cody Maverick: I already told you. I don’t speak to prove myself. I am just going to let my actions speak for themselves… LIKE RIGHT NOW!

(Cody throws a right hand into Jay’s jaw, knocking him back before a brawl ensues between the four men in the ring.)

Stew-O: Well we should have seen this coming. Four combustible elements who are all entering the Grand Rampage match have just started fighting. Cody has got to be proud of himself starting this whole damn thing.

Jake Mercer: I say let them fight and let them get their anger out now, so when The Kaiser wins the Grand Rampage, they won’t be mad.

Flannery McCoy: Meanwhile, THE MAN WHO STARTED THE FIGHT IS THE ONE GETTING TRIPLE TEAMED! Maybe Cody should have kept his mouth shut.

Stew-O: Whatever the case, Mig and Jay are holding Cody up on the ropes AS BRAE WHIPS BACK AND HITS THE “MORRIGAN”! BROGUE KICK FROM BRAE SENDS CODY FLYING OVER THE TOP ROPE AND CRASHING TO THE FLOOR!

Jake Mercer: BRAE is feeling pretty good about sending Cody out that he turns around TO JAY JERRY JOHNSON WHO HITS THE “ELEMENT REELS”! FACEBREAKER BY JAY SENDS BRAE REELING BEFORE JAY FOLLOWS UP WITH A DROPKICK THAT SENDS BRAE UP AND OUT OF THE RING!

Stew-O: BUT THERE IS MIG DE DECKER AND HE TURNS JAY AROUND AND THESE TWO ARE HAVING A SLUGFEST!

Jake Mercer: These two are just punching each other in the face AND MIG IS STARTING TO GET THE ADVANTAGE OVER JAY! MIG HAS JAY ON THE ROPES–

Flannery McCoy: MIG DE DECKER WITH THE “MKO” THRUST KICK THAT SENDS JAY OVER THE TOP ROPE AND TO THE FLOOR! MIG DE DECKER IS THE LAST MAN STANDING IN THIS BRAWL!

Jake Mercer: Yeah and the other three outside don’t look happy about.

Stew-O: Mig De Decker stands tall after this brawl, but will this be the result of the Grand Rampage? Mig is feeling good but the others aren’t happy about being outsmarted. This is going to be good.

(The final shot has Mig De Decker standing tall in the ring while the other three are on the ringside floor, bringing themselves back to their feet while glaring at Mig as the camera cuts elsewhere.)

(Michael Belfort was seen in the backstage area with a microphone in hand, a smile on his face as he began to speak to the camera.)

Michael Belfort: The Grand Rampage match is one of if not the biggest matches that you could possibly be a part of in a full calendar season here amongst Elite Answers Wrestling, as thirty Elitist enter the match, and twenty-nine get thrown out until there is one left standing, who will reign as the winner and get a world championship bout of their choosing at the biggest stage that EAW has to offer in Pain For Pride. This year, however, is unpredictable to say the least. In recent years, there have been clear-cut favorites, Elitists who fans just knew had what it takes to win the match, and it goes without saying that is exactly what would end up happening in that case. But when it comes to this year, it’s different. No one knows who is going to win. The Showdown field, as well as the Voltage field has been all but confirmed, with legends amongst the match and rising stars who are looking to finally make their name known by solidifying their spot in the main event of Pain For Pride. And the exact same can be said for Dynasty, as this field consists of some of the very best this season offered.

Michael Belfort: Ms. Extreme, Jake Smith, Bronson Daniels, Ronan Malosi, Ryan Wilson, Hans Grayson. All Dynasty names that had been confirmed just a couple of weeks ago, former world champions, former Interwire and New Breed Champions, all men and women who have been the very best that EAW has seen in whatever it is that they qualified amongst. Bronson had a very impressive run within the Grand Rampage match last year, and Jake Smith could say the exact same for the year prior. Then you have the names of BRAE, Cody Maverick, Mig De Decker, and Jay Jerry Johnson, who were all just confirmed as I am speaking right now in the segment that had come before this. All New Breeders who have been looking to make a name for themselves, who have been looking for that very next big moment to be at the very top of the world in the form of a main event at Pain For Pride, and all names to look out for.

Michael Belfort: Amongst the Dynasty field for this year’s Grand Rampage match, you can’t deny that there are a ton of favourites, underdogs, as well as dark horses that could potentially bring the win of the Grand Rampage match home to the Dynasty brand when it comes to this year. As previously stated, in recent years, Jake Smith and Bronson Daniels have both come very close to making it all the way and winning. Ms. Extreme is sure to be a favourite as well. BRAE, Mig De Decker, Cody Maverick, Jay Jerry Johnson, Hans Grayson — all names that you should look out for — can all be known as an underdog of this match. Ronan Malsoi, Ryan Wilson, who could quite possibly be looked upon as the dark horses and they both resign currently as of the endgame of this season as a member of the Dynasty brand who can very well take the victory home for Dynasty when it comes to the Grand Rampage marquee event. One thing however to seriously take note of, is the issue that all stem amongst the competitors that will be taking part of this match and how it really can be a big issue.

Michael Belfort: Jake Smith and Bronson Daniels, two men who’ve been at each other’s throats in recent weeks and have gone up against each other many times throughout the start of this year and the season in general. They despise one another, even with Jake Smith blindsiding Daniels after their big singles match last week when he lost. Ryan Wilson and Ronan Malosi both recently contested against one another for the Interwire Championship and I’m sure will be targeting each other throughout the Grand Rampage match as well. Jay Jerry Johnson and Hans Grayson, both having their own heated confrontations since the start of this season that had started with Triple J costing Hans his match in the semi-finals of the King Of Elite tournament, and Hans recently winning the blowoff. Mig De Decker, BRAE, and Cody Maverick are all three men who have all had their issues as they’ve fought for weeks and even months now over being at the very top of the food chain in the New Breed division, and will do so for the main event. While winning takes priority, you have to wonder how much their disagreements are going to end up being their downfall.

Michael Belfort: Dynasty has a strong field but it also has some big egos as well, and those do not coincide well with 20 other people in the match that are hungry to win. They will be out for each other, going at each other’s throats and very well is going to end up being the downfall of one another amongst this Grand Rampage match, and yet, even after all of that, you still have no other choice but to look amongst the field and tell yourself just how Dynasty has the best field yet, a better field that they probably have had in years, and it’ll bring a very competitive spirit, one that will either bring a member of the Dynasty brand to victory, or all of them to defeat in the end. Regardless, they’re the best of the best, they have had a whole lot of experience as well as most of them have been in the Grand Rampage match before, and it wouldn’t be a shocker if when it’s all said and done, when the bell sounds and the dust settles, when it all comes to an end, the winner happened to be a member of Dynasty. With that, Michael Belfort signing off.

(As Michael finishes speaking, he would give a nod and wave off, before walking out of the frame as Dynasty would then fade to commercial.)

(Friday Night Dynasty’s video feed returned to the ring, which was set up with a formal black carpet atop the mat of the squared circle; a table with three chairs could be seen in the middle of the ring, with Jake Mercer occupying the middle seat. With a microphone in his hand, he began to speak.)

Jake Mercer: Ladies and gentlemen, today I have the opportunity, the privilege, and the HONOR to be the host of the World Heavyweight Championship contract signing; in other words, I get to be near LIMMY MONAGHAAAAAAAN! Also Myles. One week after Myles successfully retained his championship at Operation: Doomsday, one of EAW’s greatest and most dominant World Heavyweight Champions in history graced our eyes and hearts with his return; Limmy made his way back to the Squared Circle after having been out due to injury… and how did he make his triumphant return? By aiming for the top of the mountain, where he belongs, and knocking out Myles, the current holder of the title that SHOULD be Limmy’s. While Limmy’s reign was forced to dwindle down due to lingering injuries, that should only serve as a warning to the roster of how dangerous a 100% Limmy will be! If they couldn’t stand up to him at half his strength, what will they do to him at his best?!

Jake Mercer: With that context in mind, it came to no surprise that Limmy aimed straight for the World Heavyweight Championship, the title that he DEFINED. Of course, you have to give your props to Myles as well; with this third world championship reign on going, it’s difficult to deny that he is at the top of his game. ‘Peak’, as he calls it. After reigning successfully since his victory at Road to Redemption, the champion faces his greatest challenge yet! Tonight, we sign the contract to set this match in stone. Myles vs Limmy Monaghan, World Heavyweight Championship on the line, to be contested at Grand Rampage! Please welcome our guests at this time!

(‘Number One’ by Shirō Sagisu & Adam Brown began playing as Limmy Monaghan stormed out from behind the stage curtains, looking confident as ever. He strutted down to the ring, chuckling a bit as Jake Mercer practically melted at the sight of him.)

(Immediately after, ‘Enemy Strike’ by Yuki Hayashi began playing as Myles appeared on the stage with the World Heavyweight Championship with a determined, piercing gaze. He made eye contact with Limmy and never broke it as he made his way down to the ring, joining him and filling the last seat at the table; Limmy made room for him, not engaging in any immediate hostilities.)

Limmy Monaghan: Just a week remaining, Myles. I’ve been waiting for this. YOU’VE been waiting for this. The entire EAW UNIVERSE has been waiting for this… and at long last, it’s finally here. The only question that matters at this moment is who is going to be leaving Grand Rampage with this raised above their head?

(Limmy placed his hand on the World Heavyweight Championship, causing Myles’ eyes to narrow. Limmy withdraws his hand.)

Limmy Monaghan: Well, I suppose I shouldn’t be touching it just yet. For now, at least, the World Heavyweight Championship belongs to you, Myles. And you’ve been holding it very well since December… given the circumstances, that is. You’ve defended it valiantly against anyone that’s stepped up; Camille approached you with that killer instinct, but your killer instinct was higher. Jake Smith and Bronson Daniels were aiming to strike you down every step of the way, but they were never able to reach ‘Peak’. 2024, for all intents and purposes, has belonged to you. How appropriate; the World Heavyweight Champion has undoubtedly ruled the world.

Limmy Monaghan: Of course, how much does it mean to rule the world only when the world didn’t have Limmy Monaghan? All those names I’ve rattled off, every obstacle you’ve faced since acquiring the title, they don’t even begin to compare to the legacy I have behind my name. I’m not saying this to take anything away from what you’ve done thus far… but in your case, I think it would be helpful to put things into perspective. What are the Himalayas without Mount Everest? What are the seven oceans without the Pacific? It’s impressive that you’ve ruled the world so far, but now that I’ve inserted myself back into it, you won’t be able to bear that burden. The fact that I wasn’t there to compete for that title is a matter of luck; as of a few weeks ago, though, that luck has run out.

Myles: When will you stop retreading false grounds, Limmy? You’ve woven this tale before and it’s still made of the same flimsy material. You’ve tried pushing this narrative that I was handed this opportunity on a silver platter, and it couldn’t be further from the truth. Whatever situation I’ve been faced with, whatever circumstance coming my way, I’ve faced head-on without hesitation. Back in the day, when I was still a part of New Eden, I was faced with Mr. DEDEDE as an impromptu opponent; one of wrestling’s most accomplished champions was put in a match against me, and I hardly had any time to prepare. Did I complain? Did I run away, after not being handed an easier match? No, I took it in stride. More than that, I pushed him to his very limit, gave him one of the biggest fights of his storied career, and proved my mettle beyond a shadow of a doubt. He hit me with the North Star, a move that hardly anybody in the industry has been able to kick out of; on that day, I made myself one of those few.

Myles: Do you think I’m a stranger to the unexpected, Limmy? No, I embrace the unexpected. No matter the scenario, I make it my own. The great Limmy Monaghan returns to Dynasty, and you think there’s a hint of doubt or fear in my heart? No, I relish the opportunity to silence whatever doubt remains, no matter how unjustified it may be. I consider myself to be very grounded in my beliefs. I’m not in the business of dealing with hypotheticals and theories; ‘what if’ Limmy was here when I gained my title is a ‘what if’ I’m not interested in debating. It was not the case. Allow me to give you something objective, something in the now, something you can verify in an instant with your very eyes.

Myles: At this moment, I AM on top. I AM peak. I DO rule the world. And the physical, tangible, undeniable proof of that claim is the slab of gold on this table. If you want to change the reality of our situation, then you’ll have to sign that contract and take the gold from me by force. But here’s a warning… I won’t be letting go anytime soon.

(Myles signed the contract before pushing it forward to Limmy’s side of the table. Limmy looked Myles in the eyes for a few tense moments before signing it himself. Myles gets up to leave, having finished his business, but Limmy begins speaking yet again.)

Limmy Monaghan: What I’ve been saying about the circumstances of your title win are no hypothetical, Myles. They are, as you so enjoy, the objective truth. The objective truth is that you weren’t able to beat a broken Limmy. The objective truth is that you only made it back to the ‘Peak’ because the throne was left empty by the only man grand enough to fill the seat. Even now, no matter how much you want to deny it, the claims of being ‘Peak’ ring hollow when you were never able to prove it against me-

(Myles turns around and shoves Limmy back into his seat, an angry glare on his face. Limmy looks back at him with an inscrutable expression, before ultimately breaking out into a smirk. Knowing he was able to get under the skin of the seemingly unflappable Myles, he gets off his chair and simply walks past Myles, not regarding him again as he heads back up the ramp while ‘Number One’ begins to blast through the speakers.)

Stew-O: Well I can’t say there wasn’t a statement there by Limmy Monaghan. He got under the skin of the World Heavyweight Champion, and it seems like the tension heading into their rematch from Pain For Pride last Season only continues to grow.

Flannery McCoy: What a way to end this go-home show tonight folks! Thanks for tuning into Friday Night Dynasty as we are just one week away from Grand Rampage! On behalf of myself, Stew-O, and Jake Mercer, we’re signing off!

(The last shot seen is of Myles gripping his World Heavyweight Championship and staring a hole into Limmy Monaghan as he takes his leave as Friday Night Dynasty fades completely to black.)
