(Friday Night Dynasty intro plays. A brief recap of last week’s show plays before the scene comes to life with a live shot of the SSE Arena in Belfast, Ireland! EAW is officially on tour in Europe, and the Irish fans couldn’t be happier. As always, the seats are packed as it is a sold-out affair, and after the pyro goes off, the shot dissolves to capture Stew-O, Jake Mercer and Flannery McCoy together on commentary.)
Stew-O: EAW UNIVERSE, WELCOME TO ANOTHER ADDITION OF FRIDAY NIGHT DYNASTY! WE ARE IN BELFAST, IRELAND AS WE GET CLOSER TO GRAND RAMPAGE, WHICH IS NOW TWO WEEKS AWAY! THE ENERGY IS ELECTRIC! THE EXCITEMENT IS PALPABLE! AND WE ARE ALMOST THERE FOR THE OFFICIAL START OF PAIN FOR PRIDE SEASON!
Jake Mercer: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I can hardly wait, guys!
Flannery McCoy: Me too! So many matches are lined up, especially on our end. Drake Armstrong will be going up against Minerva, Hans Grayson and Brian Daniels will clash, Jay Jerry Johnson will defend the EAW Interwire Championship against both Holly Arrow and Chris Elite, and of course, we have our representatives in the actual Grand Rampage match, who will let their thoughts be known later on in the evening about what that match means for them and their careers!
Stew-O: There’s a lot to look forward to tonight, and let’s kick this show off HOT!
(Friday Night Dynasty transitions away from the commentary desk as the sounds of ‘Revolution’ by Pennywise are heard blasting through the speakers of the arena. The camera goes over to the stage to show Drake King as he’s seen making his way out from the backstage area. He has a relatively solemn expression on his face as he looks down at the ground, taking a deep breath before then proceeding to make his way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… DRAKE KING!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Well, we’re kicking off the show with Drake King, who was certainly trying his best last week to beg Cy Henderson for forgiveness after rubbing him the wrong way the week after Operation: Doomsday. Cy wasn’t buying it and warned him to stay out of his way, but they got a victory over Fire & Ice, which has to mean something.
Flannery McCoy: In Drake’s eyes, that does, but for Cy, he has bigger fish to fry when it comes to the World Heavyweight Championship and his match against Joso. He knows what he’s going to be up against, and he knows that he has to focus completely on that, unfortunately, he has a Drake King dilemma to handle, and that’s something that probably continues tonight.
Jake Mercer: I think Drake is just being nice, can we stop pointing fingers and blaming him??? Look, Cy should just forgive him, and we can all move on if you ask me, I feel like that’s the best case for all of us, right?
(Drake makes his way up the steps and onto the apron as he enters through the ropes, heading over and taking a microphone from the ringside area as ‘Revolution’ then begins to come to a close. Heading toward the center of the ring, he then begins to speak.)
Drake King: I don’t know what more I need to do. I’ve tried, tried, and tried to get on Cy’s good side, but it appeared that he was just not budging to me. I want to make amends, and I want to make things right, but if you ask me, it just doesn’t feel like Cy is very interested. And while I could just step away and leave, it just doesn’t sit right with me. It doesn’t sit right if I leave this open-ended and allow myself to go about my ways, knowing that I disrespected an EAW Hall of Famer the way that I did. Cy, it may not mean too much to you, but last week was me trying to make things right and I did that, we beat Fire & Ice, one of the best tag teams that this entire company has to offer, and I set you on the right path toward the World Heavyweight Championship. I don’t know what more I need to do; in my eyes, it seems like I’m entirely out of options, but I know this isn’t a one-man type ordeal.
Drake King: Cy, you may be busy, and I apologize if you are, but understand that I want to try and make things right with you before you head off and face Joso, and this was my way of doing it. So if you don’t mind, could you please make your way out here, and we can talk face-to-face? That would mean a lot to me.
(Drake gestures toward the stage, and he waits for a moment, but it’s not very long before ‘Saint Pablo’ by Kanye West begins to play up to his relief, but he’s not going to like what he’s going to see. Because storming out from the backstage area is an unhappy Cy Henderson, who is glaring daggers at Drake inside the ring, and is visibly unhappy about everything that has happened these past couple of weeks. He takes a moment to collect himself, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, before then beginning to make his way down the ramp and to the ring.)
Stew-O: Well, here comes Cy Henderson, and he doesn’t seem very happy with everything that he’s had to go through. All this time, it’s been less about Drake getting on his bad side and more getting him off his tail, knowing that he has a World Heavyweight Championship match to focus on, but it doesn’t seem like Drake has entirely gotten the message when it comes to that.
Flannery McCoy: If anything, it looks like Cy is finally going to tell him straight exactly what he needs to hear, and it might not be something that Drake entirely wants, but at the end of the day, it’s something that Cy needs to do if he wants to put an end to this once and for all. I guess we’re just going to see as the Hall of Famer makes his way down to the ring.
Jake Mercer: Be gentle on him, Cy, we like Drake!
Stew-O: We?
Jake Mercer: Yes, we. He’s a newcomer he has given me no reason to hate him.
(Cy makes his way up the steps and onto the apron as he enters through the ropes. He heads over and takes a microphone from the ringside area while ‘Saint Pablo’ begins to come to a close and he immediately approaches Drake and begins to speak.)
Cy Henderson: Look, I’ve had it up to here with you-
Drake King: Before you say anything, I just need you to hear me out. Cy, I adored you when I was growing up, when I became an Elitist, I knew that I wanted to be just like you. I fought my hardest to get to a place where I could say that I made it to this company and stand across the ring from you, and it beats on my conscience every single week that I messed up my first impression the way that I did after everything that occurred. I have tried my best, Cy, you may not feel like it was very necessary, but in my mind it was. The only way that I can truly get any peace of mind is if you forgive me for what I’ve done.
Cy Henderson: No, but here’s the thing that you understand, I couldn’t give less of a damn what you’ve done. What I need you to do is get away from me, but it’s something that you don’t seem to understand., and we have to go in circles time and time again because you can’t stay out of my way. I warned you, Drake, I warned you exactly what was going to happen, and despite all of that, it doesn’t seem that you could keep your mouth shut. I don’t know what facade is going on with you, what type of scheme you’re planning to show the world, but I’m not buying it. You can do it on your own time; just leave me out of it.
Drake King: Wait, but-
Cy Henderson: I have something that you don’t and that is an opportunity at the World Heavyweight Championship, deep down in your twisted mind I know that eats you alive, so you’ve been trying to buddy up with me to take it away from me, and I’m not going to be fooled by it. I’ve tried my best to be nice to you, Drake, I’ve tried to play your game, but to be honest, I never really cared in the first place how you felt and that’s just something that you’re going to have to stomach because I’m not going to accept your apology.
Drake King: Cy, please…
Cy Henderson: You can save it. I’m out of here.
(Cy turns around to leave, but before he can completely, ‘LIKE WEEZY’ by Playboi Carti begins to play through the speakers of the arena as the crowd cheers loudly. The camera goes over to show the World Heavyweight Champion Joso as he storms out with his title in hand. He has an unhappy look on his face as he eyes both the Elitists in the ring before then beginning to quickly make his way down the ramp, not wasting anytime.)
Stew-O: Well, here comes the Champion, and I know that he wouldn’t be happy after what happened last week either. He would be caught in a brawl thanks to Cy and Drake, and it’s certainly not something that he’s very forgiving of, especially when it comes to his Grand Rampage opponent.
Flannery McCoy: If there’s one thing that we know, it’s the fact that Joso is not going to take the disrespect, and while these two have their issues, Joso knows that come Grand Rampage it’s not going to be Drake in occasion, just him and Cy, and that’s something that they need to brace themselves for.
Jake Mercer: I think we can resolve these issues with one big group hug, c’mon guys! Please???
(Joso makes his way up the steps and onto the apron as he enters through the ropes. He has over and takes a microphone from the ringside area as ‘LIKE WEEZY’, then begins to come to a close from there. Then, heading over to the two of them, he doesn’t waste too much time before beginning to speak.)
Joso: No, I don’t care what you two have going on either, what I’m not going to do is stand here and act like a third wheel to your stupid drama when everyone knows that I’m the centerpiece. With this World Heavyweight Championship around my waist, I have a right to be respected, and it feels like these past couple of weeks I have been treated with nothing but disrespect, ESPECIALLY from the likes of Cy Henderson.
Cy Henderson: I don’t know if you know, but I don’t care how you feel either. I have one job and one job only and that’s taking this World Heavyweight Championship from you, and it doesn’t matter how you feel going into it, you’re not going to have much of a choice regardless.
Joso: Shut the fuck up.
Drake King: Look, Joso, if anything, I feel like you and I have gotten off on the wrong foot too, if I’ve done anything to disrespect you as well then please let me know, because the last thing that I need is for you to draw my ire when I had no intentions to.
Joso: You need to shut the fuck up too. “Ok” or not, it doesn’t change the fact that you are not involved in this! You have no reason to meddle in my business, yet you choose to out of the “goodness” of your heart, and that, above everything else, is what grinds my gears. So if I were you, I’d leave before you make things worse for yourself.
Drake King: Not before I make things right with Cy-
Joso: Frankly I don’t give a damn what you and Cy are going through-
Drake King: Look, just give me a couple more minutes to talk to him-
Joso: Bro, are you going to leave, or am I going to have to force you to?
Drake King: Cy, please, just for a second-
Stew-O: CY HAS HEARD ENOUGH! HE JUST STEPPED FORWARD AND SLAMMED A PUNCH AGAINST THE FACE OF DRAKE TO DROP HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND!
(Cy is seething as he shakes his head in frustration, dropping down and rolling out of the ring before then beginning to make his way up the ramp.)
Jake Mercer: Well, that’s one way to do it.
Flannery McCoy: Drake certainly didn’t get what he wanted as he just got laid out by Cy Henderson, and that’s something that Joso has certainly taken notice of. I guess we’re just going to have to see how this progresses.
(Cy storms up the ramp without a second glance while Drake looks on with a shocked expression on his face, Joso, on the otherhand, is visibly annoyed as he rubs his temple in frustration. It’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty fades to elsewhere.)
(A commercial plays for inZoi, featuring Drake King accidentally setting a Zoi version of Cy Henderson on fire. :/ He’s still learning.)
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Betty (Get Money)!” by Yung Gravy can be heard throughout the speakers to the immense unison of a negative crowd. Clayton Golde makes his own way out from the back with a smile on his face, nodding to himself as he enjoys the attitudes that he’s seeing from the audience while he walks down the ramp, all the more cocky.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Romania, weighing in at 210 pounds… CLAYTONNNNN GOLDE!!!
Stew-O: Clayton Golde, quite the interesting figure to say the least. He enjoyed his marquee battle against the Interwire Champion, whether the fans would’ve wanted to witness him or not, but he is here in Dynasty to make an impact all the more. Tonight is a good chance for that.
Jake Mercer: I think it’s just fantastic that he is grounded in his own set of principles and beliefs that he strongly believes in! He is being something that not many would like to undergo, and you’ve got to see how he’s in this business for his own honest gain.
(‘Duel of the Fates’ can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as the audience reacts loudly to the arrival of the former New Breed Champion, BRAE. BRAE halts at the stage, gazing upon the crowd with an intense gaze on his face, maintaining all of his focus as he’s walking down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Introducing his opponent! From Novosibirsk, Russia! Weighing in at 215 pounds… SON BRRRRRRRRRAE!!!
Stew-O: The former New Breed Champion has always been one to accept any challenge that should come his way, BRAE’s looking to have a great encounter with his opponent tonight, and that much is to garner all the more momentum.
Flannery McCoy: BRAE will march into battle yet again against a competitor that can be tested for what he brings to the table, to ensure it’s not gonna be anything for BRAE to even think about underestimating tonight.
(DING! DING! DING)
Stew-O: And we’re off! BRAE vs. Clayton Golde is now kicking off as these two men could not be anymore different from how they maneuver as professional wrestlers, so this should be a very interesting matchup to witness right here on Dynasty! Both men are able to pace around the ring steadily, as there will be plenty of room here to ensure that this encounter does end up going the distance that it needs to. Clayton is keeping his distance for the most part while BRAE is focusing on maintaining what can be presented as a sizable challenge for Golde, who is always going to be looking for the best advantage possible.
Flannery McCoy: Which certainly goes without saying, as the two men decide to lock up in a collar and elbow tie-up from there, each trying their very best to garner the best possible way to focus on this match in the most controlled manner! BRAE’s sheer intensity allows him to bolster his own strength forward and back Clayton into the ropes, with the referee now beginning to count down on BRAE as before long, he does eventually let himself go there, with Clayton Golde raising his own hands up to show that there won’t be any other movements from him as BRAE is now slowly backing himself away from Clayton—
Jake Mercer: BUT CLAYTON WITH A CHEAP SHOT! RIGHT HOOK ACROSS BRAE’S JAW!! That was quite the thinking put on display from Clayton as he’s now just smirking to himself, seeing that he didn’t shy away from going down that road for himself by any means at all! And now BRAE is absolutely pissed here as he’s trying to reach over to Clayton but the referee is keeping him at bay! Clayton moves himself under the top rope and shakes his head with a grin as BRAE has to back away! This can’t be ending well for Clayton if this is the path he’s really trying to get himself going down at this rate of the bout!
Stew-O: As Clayton is now emerging from the ropes and heading back toward the mat, pacing around here as this is about to be all the more interesting of a match to tackle—CAUSE BRAE HIMSELF JUST TACKLED CLAYTON INTO THE CORNER! And Clayton just to free himself away BUT BRAE WITH AN ELECTRIC KNIFE EDGE CHOP THAT KEEPS CLAYTON AT BAY IN THE CORNER! Clayton yells out as BRAE continues to maintain all of the pressure that he’s got to keep in place here, letting all of these chops sound off like a machine gun as this has to be the absolute worst place for Golde to be! The chops are firing off as Golde doesn’t seem to have much of a choice but to take every single chop that comes his way!
Flannery McCoy: As BRAE finally stops after the referee is almost reaching the count of five, preventing the likelihood of a disqualification there! Golde slumps down and into the bottom of the turnbuckle where he leans himself back on! BRAE backs away from Clayton as he paces over to the farthest corner of the ring, keeping himself mobile as this isn’t looking to end up going too well for his opponent from here—AS BRAE RUSHES TOWARD CLAYTON WITH A RUNNING DROPKICK INTO THE CORNER! Clayton is taken down further as BRAE yanks Golde over and hooks the leg for the pin to go!
ONEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOO!!!
T—
Jake Mercer: NOT ENOUGH! Clayton Golde has enough in the tank to continue being placed in this wringer at the hands of BRAE tonight, with BRAE situating himself in a crouched position while Clayton is bringing himself up to a seated position as well.. AS HE LAYS IN A FIERCE CLOBBERING FIST RIGHT OVER HIS CHEST! AND ANOTHER! AND ANOTHER! Clayton is being placed in all of the hardship right now as BRAE is refusing to give this man any ounce of retort when being met with the offense of an animal!
Stew-O: As Clayton is shaking his own here, perhaps not willing to give himself in to all of the pressure he’s been placed under by the former New Breed Champion. BRAE is rather quick to dragging Clayton upward, and he is now wrapping his arms around the waist of Golde as he’s looking to maintain this control by LOOKING TO HOIST HIM UPWARD & LAUNCH CLAYTON GOLDE OFF WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX—
Flannery McCoy: WHAT THE—CLAYTON JUST STOMPED ONTO BRAE’S FOOT! BRAE is forced to let go as Golde took the best advantage that he possibly could be stomping right onto the foot of BRAE, as Golde is now turning himself back around to ensure that he can put BRAE down while he’s vulnerable—AS HE RUSHES TOWARD HIM & NAILS HIM WITH A CLOTHESLINE! Clayton just knocked BRAE off of his own feet with that clothesline as BRAE is now trying to bring himself back up rather quickly, but he’s been stunned!
Jake Mercer: As Golde is able to take further advantage here, now stomping down upon BRAE as this is just mounting as much offense as Clayton can possibly muster! BRAE is being placed in the defensive position here while Clayton does not hold back from returning all of the offense that he’s been given at the hands of BRAE! Clayton doesn’t waste any time dragging BRAE upward & seeing that he’s far too immobile to take any control back—GOLDE PUTS HIM BACK DOWN WITH A BACKSTABBER THAT CAUSES BRAE TO FALL LIMP ON THE CANVAS! Clayton rushes himself over to hook the leg!
ONEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOO!!!
T—
Stew-O: AND BRAE KICKS OUT! Not enough to keep him down as Clayton shakes his own head in visible frustration, now dragging BRAE by the hair toward the ropes as the referee is giving him quite the scolding right now! Golde doesn’t waste another moment to place BRAE against the middle rope as he proceeds to KNEE BRAE REPEATEDLY IN THE BACK OF HIS NECK WHILE HE IS PRESSED AGAINST THE ROPES! Clayton is placing BRAE through a whole other world of hardship right now as this is a very bad place for the former New Breed Champion to be!
Flannery McCoy: As this can only result in a far worsened place for BRAE to be as the referee is now scolding Clayton after he lets off of BRAE to prevent the disqualification from going through! Golde backs away with his hands raised as the referee is certainly giving him an earful to listen to, but this may all backfire on Golde rather quickly right now before he RUSHES TOWARD BRAE FOR ANOTHER KNEE ACROSS HIS BACK—
Jake Mercer: BUT BRAE RETURNS WITH A SUDDEN DISCUS CLOTHESLINE THAT SENDS CLAYTON FOR A RIDE! HE’S KNOCKED SILLY! Golde is reeling from that clothesline as he’s shaking his own head vigorously, trying to get himself back into this match as quickly as he possibly can but BRAE is looking to return to this match about as fast as he’s able to! BRAE is now rushing back toward Golde after he has began rising back up to his feet—AS HE SENDS CLAYTON REELING WITH A SUDDEN URANAGE THAT IS ABLE TO KEEP CLAYTON DOWN! THE COVER!!!
ONEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREE—
Stew-O: NOT ENOUGH—AS BRAE QUICKLY APPLIES THE REAR NAKED CHOKE SOON AFTER!!! CLAYTON IS STRUGGLING IMMENSELY HERE AS HE IS TRYING TO FIND SOMEWAY FREE! But BRAE is maintaining this submission for about as much as he can! Clayton is doing everything in his own power to free himself from this rear naked choke but this is going rather poorly for him right now! Golde is trying with all of his desperation to drag all of his weight along the canvas and reach for those ropes in this desperate attempt to finally get himself back to proper form!
Flannery McCoy: AS CLAYTON MANAGES TO CLUTCH ONTO THE ROPES! Golde is more than capable of escaping this submission as he’s got his hand onto the rope and BRAE is now making the most of this rear naked choke while he can, but the referee is counting down on BRAE as now he has no choice but to let go of the submission as Clayton pulls himself away from BRAE and situates himself over the apron! BRAE shakes his own head as Clayton is using the ropes to pull himself back up to a more proper position, as BRAE doesn’t seem all too interested in waiting around for Golde to retort back as he’s looking to NAIL A BOOT—
Jake Mercer: BUT CLAYTON CATCHES BRAE WITH BY SLAMMING HIS FACE RIGHT OVER THE ROPE!! BRAE was just nailed with that rope as he’s now leaned against the middle rope, trying to find his way back into this match after being taken advantage of through the time that Clayton was given to make enough of a sizable recovery! BRAE is leaning over the ropes as Clayton is now grabbing a hold of BRAE’s head here, and he’s got him slightly elevated over the ropes as this can leave his opponet in quite the bad way SHOULD HE GO THROUGH—
Stew-O: AS AN APRON FACE SLAM DRILLS BRAE’S SKULL RIGHT ONTO THE HARDEST SECTION OF THE RING! BRAE is clutching onto his own head as he’s eagerly rushing himself back into the ring, trying to keep himself on the move while also refraining from getting back into the action as the referee is rushing himself over to check on the former New Breed Champion! Clayton finds himself sliding back into the ring now as he’s seeing this may be his best shot to put BRAE down from here! Clayton sees that BRAE is unable to fight back for the moment as he’s now dragging him back up and looking to send the message from here!
Flannery McCoy: ‘THE 304’ CONNECTS!! HIP TOSS INTO THE TURNBUCKLE CAUSES BRAE TO COLLAPSE BACK DOWN ONTO THE CANVAS FROM THERE!! BRAE has fallen as he’s down on the mat while Clayton is rushing himself over with a grin plastered on his own face! The referee counts away from there as he looks to bring this big win home!
ONEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREE—
Jake Mercer: NO! BRAE IS ABLE TO KICK OUT FROM THERE!!! Clayton is shaking his own head vigorously as he’s refusing to accept that BRAE has not been defeated yet! Clayton decides to back himself away from the former New Breed Champion as he’s now looking to take advantage in an entirely different manner from here! BRAE is struggling a bit here as this is not going well for him with Golde now preparing to put him down emphatically with the next maneuver he’s got prepared… AS HE’S NOW LOOKING FOR ‘THE GOLDE PILL’—
Stew-O: BUT BRAE SQUIRMS FREE BEHIND CLAYTON GOLDE—AND SENDS HIM ACROSS THE RING WITH A SUDDEN GERMAN SUPLEX!!! Clayton is now struggling a great deal as he has to roll himself out of the ring once more, dragging himself back up as he’s not trying to be caught BRAE yet again! Golde is able to return back to a stance while still on the apron—AS BRAE’S GOT HIM! CLAYTON IS TRAPPED AGAINST THE ROPES AS BRAE HAS GOT HIM HELD—TO CLOBBER HIS FIST OVER HIS CHEST!
Flannery McCoy: ONE! TWO! THREE! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE! TEN! THE TEN BEATS OF BRAE HAVE ALL CONNECTED AS CLAYTON IS NOW SLIDING THROUGH THE ROPES & BACK INTO THE RING! BRAE is now backing himself away from Clayton, and Golde is trying to move back to his feet as he’s stunned by the maneuver while BRAE has Clayton scouted here, as Golde is unable to get himself back up with BRAE RUSHING AHEAD TO NAIL ‘RED DEATH’—
Jake Mercer: CLAYTON SIDESTEPS AS BRAE DOESN’T DOESN’T LAND! BRAE CLUTCHES HIS ARM AS HE RISES BACK UP, WHILE CLAYTON IS RUSHING TOWARD BRAE & LOOKING FOR ‘C’EST LA VIE’—
Stew-O: ‘MORRIGAN’ ACROSS THE JAW OF CLAYTON!! THE BROGUE KICK CONNECTS! BRAE HOOKS THE LEG!!!
ONEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…. BRAEEEEE!!!
Flannery McCoy: Quite the win for BRAE tonight as he’s able to mount up considerable momentum ahead of Grand Rampage!
Jake Mercer: Clayton Golde did show that he’s able to be as conniving between those ropes as he needs to be in order to keep himself ahead!
Stew-O: But tonight, it was not enough for the former New Breed Champion. Congratulations to BRAE!
(‘Clash of the Gods [Epic Version]’ can be heard blaring through the speakers as BRAE stands himself up, clutching onto his abdomen as the referee raises his hand in victory. Clayton shakes his own head in frustration as he leans by the ropes, with BRAE raising a fist in the air as the scene fades to break.)
(Dynasty fades into the first of many confessionals featuring the Dynasty Elitists competing in Grand Rampage. Clips of the Elitists’ best moments are played before it focuses on the first Elitist of this confessional. It starts off with former New Breed Champion, BRAE.)
BRAE: For me, winning Grand Rampage means to me that I make up for failing to win at Operation: Doomsday. While it’s something that I’m not trying to beat myself up, it’s a step backwards from where I want to do. Yet, I move forward and am optimistic that Grand Rampage will be my big moment. It’s understood that everyone that’s competing in Grand Rampage will be shilling out for their big moments. They want to be the ones to put up a memorable performance. The winner, the runner up, the final four, the ironman – this match provides us with an opportunity to demonstrate our willingness to go that extra mile for the sake of headlining Pain for Pride. I was fortunate enough to end a historic reign last year. This year, I want to walk out as the World Heavyweight Champion. I just need to keep pushing myself. That’s what I have been doing since I got here and I’m not looking to stop that anytime soon. I will do whatever it takes to outlast twenty-nine other Elitists and secure my ticket to Pain for Pride 18.
(Highlights of Kirk Redwood’s moments begin to play. Then, we have Kirk Redwood in the confessionals.)
Kirk Redwood: All this season, it’s been a constant change of goals with me. I have had a troubling time with settling with a goal and sticking with it. But since Operation: Doomsday, it seems like the idea of being World Champion has not wavered. It has made the desire grow to get my first single’s championship even more. But, I know with this current mindset, I feel like something is missing. Perhaps, it was left back in prison, but I realize that I am going to need that mindset back. I’m not sure what it is exactly, but I need to get it back. But, that doesn’t mean to just pick up a cold beer bottle from the fridge and drink myself away as visions of my girlfriend and daughter disappear from me. No, I want to replace that vision of me raising the beer bottle to my lips with raising a championship high in the air. To me, it doesn’t matter where I enter this match, but I am going to fight for everything. To win Grand Rampage, to become a champion, for love, for my daughter and girlfriend. For everything. And, no man and woman is going to stand in my way of doing that.
(Afterwards, we see Mia Santoro’s highlights before it pans to her in the confessional.)
Mia Santoro: Everyone has been running their mouths about me for way too long now. The level of disrespect that I’ve constantly got has got to stop and if that means throwing twenty-nine bodies over that top rope, that’s exactly what I am looking to do. I know that there’s going to be Elitists who will look to write me off. They want to call me one of the weakest links of the match. But every time I get knocked down, I get right fucking back up. There is nothing that can keep me down. Since day fucking one, I have told everyone that I am a star. Not just told, but SCREAMED it until everyone got the message loud and clear. The spotlight loves me, baby. These are the bright lights that I LIVE for and there’s no brighter lights than the main event of Pain for Pride. That’s where the money is at and there is no one that screams star and money than Mia Santoro.
(Then, we see Corey Hale’s time on the Dynasty brand before it pans to Corey in the confessional.)
Corey Hale: I know that Grand Rampage is a huge match with some huge stakes. It’s my first time competing in a match like this. People come into this match and seem to have a full idea on how they want for things to go down. They have a clear vision of what they want their future to look like. For me, I have no idea what’s at stake for my future. I have no idea how this match is going to go down. Last week, I became aware of my number. To me, it didn’t matter what the number was because while everyone is going to be jittery and anxious to get out there, I’m going to do what I have done since I’ve gotten here and remain as calm as possible. I am not someone who looks at headlining Pain for Pride as the soul mission. I have entertained the possibility that my journey to Barcelona might be for another championship. A championship that I can take to bigger heights. But, the fun of the Grand Rampage match is to dream? It’s to entertain the possibility of whether someone like me – who may be a ‘dark horse’ or someone that not everyone is going to bet on to win pulling off some monumental upset. I could be that guy to make that all happen, so let’s see what I can do at Grand Rampage.
(Afterwards, we see highlights of the season Vincent Mondrain had and his skills as a competitor. Then, it pans to the former Interwire Champion, who is seen in the confessionals.)
Vincent Mondrian: From my match with Corey Hale and Jaylond Stone, most people would feel a sense of relief that they were able to accomplish something that they set their mind to. For me? I don’t feel that way. I still feel like I’m in this internal vortex of pain and misery. A never-ending road of despair. I’m sick and tired of it. I’m sick and tired of the disrespect. I’m sick of people thinking that they can walk all over me. I’m sick of people thinking that they can step on me on their way to accomplishing their goals. I am not a stepping stone. I’m one of the best hardhitting technical wrestlers that this company has. If people don’t realize that now, they’ll realize it at Grand Rampage. I am hungrier than any Elitist on this brand. The competitors in this Grand Rampage don’t hold a candle to my capabilities as a professional wrestler. I am more than capable of doing the things that Elitists with better luck are capable of doing. I look at Grand Rampage as the ultimate way to turn my season around. Let’s see who changes their tone when Vincent Mondrian wins Grand Rampage.
(Soon after, Saori Aizen’s time in the company and what she has done so far is highlighted. Then, it shows Soari in the confessionals.)
Saori Aizen: Grand Rampage is a match where the odds are stacked against me. Still, my mentality does not change and that is to walk out of the match victorious. If I’m labeled one of the ‘dark horses’ of the match, then so be it. I am aware that I am going to be entering a match where the experience level is not in my favor. I may cross paths with Elitists that I have rubbed the wrong way. I may have a target on my back. People may portray me as someone that they can easily throw over the top rope. But, I am not going to sell myself short. I have always bet on myself when it comes to these situations. I know what my capabilities are. I know that I have always been a dangerous talent and everyone in Grand Rampage is going to be feeling that. I know that I am going to be competing in this match with Daniella Atlas and if the two of us are in the same ring at the same time, we are going to destroy everyone in our path.
(Lastly, highlights of Daniella Atlas’ rise in EAW and her season so far on Dynasty. Then, it shows the former Specialists Champion in the confessionals.)
Daniella Atlas: What does winning Grand Rampage mean to me? It’s simple: I don’t want to be held back. Enough said.
(Daniella Atlas takes off her wireless microphone from her shirt and her battery and walks off the confessional. It fades back to ringside for the next match.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns to a pan-around shot of the arena as Stephie Love is seen standing by in the ring, microphone in hand a smile on her face as she begins to speak.)
Stephie Love: The following is a GRAND RAMPAGE PREVIEW MATCH!!! And it’s a singles match scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘Sinister Purpose’ by Creedence Clearwater Revival begins to blast through the speakers of the arena as the camera goes over to a determined Kirk Redwood as he begins to make his way out from the backstage area. He pops his neck and takes a moment to embrace the atmosphere before then beginning to make his way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first… from Boston, Massachusetts… weighing in at 210 pounds… HE IS ‘UNKILLABLE’… KIRK REDWOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Well, here comes Kirk Redwood, he’s been looking for a way to get himself back on track after fighting hard in the Iron Survivor match at Operation: Doomsday, and by drawing a number for the Grand Rampage match last week, he did just that.
Flannery McCoy: And now he looks to put his stamp on that match by making one hell of a statement in this preview match. He’s fighting for a purpose, and who knows, he may very well shock the world and win the Grand Rampage match.
Jake Mercer: Well that means any old person has a shot at the Grand Rampage match, and that’s just not true! Kirk is going to have to fight harder than he’s ever fought, and even then, that might not be a guarantee! But you know what, let’s just see.
(‘Lacrimosa [EPIC REMIX]’ by Samuel Kim begins to follow that up as the crowd gives a mixed reaction for Vincent Mondrian who makes his way out to the stage. He has a stern expression on his face as he clenches his fist tightly, taking a moment and taking a deep breath as he makes his way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent… from Laren, Netherlands… weighing in at 205 pounds… HE IS ‘ZERO’… VINCENT MONDRIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: As for Vincent, it’s the same story with the rebounding as Kirk, as he had a tough loss against Brian Daniels at Operation: Doomsday a couple weeks ago. But just like him, he drew a number for the Grand Rampage match, and it seems like he’s looking to make one hell of an impression.
Flannery McCoy: The former Interwire Champion has been struggling to truly rebound from the crushing title loss just last year, and it seems like he’s doing whatever he can to do that. I think that if he manages to beat someone like Kirk Redwood here tonight, he might be one step closer to doing that. Who knows, he might even win the Grand Rampage match.
Jake Mercer: Can we stop saying anyone is going to win the Grand Rampage match?! That’s just not factually correct! The person who wins this match might be one step closer to that, but mathematically, the odds will forever be against them! Whatever though.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: The bell has rung, and the first of two Grand Rampage preview matches is officially underway! Former Interwire Champion Vincent Mondrian is in action against Kirk Redwood, as both look to make a significant impact ahead of their participation in the Grand Rampage match. They make their way out of their corners and don’t waste time engaging in a collar-and-elbow tieup! They jockey for position, but Kirk immediately slips behind him and goes for a rear waist lock! He plants his feet on the ground as Vincent immediately tries to pry himself free!
Flannery McCoy: And that’s what he manages to do, as he breaks himself from his grasp before spinning around and locking in a rear waist lock of his own on Kirk! But before he can fully establish his grip, Kirk manages to get himself out of that before snatching his head and pulling him into a side headlock! But Vincent is quickly beginning to push him toward the ropes, pressing him against them before sending him toward the opposite side of the ring, CONNECTING WITH A SHOULDER TACKLE TO DROP KIRK DOWN TO THE GROUND!
Jake Mercer: Kirk rolls onto his stomach as Vincent jumps over him and runs to the ropes! He rebounds as Kirk gets back up to his feet, GRABBING A HOLD OF HIM BY THE ARM AND TAKING HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH AN ARM DRAG! He has a hold of the arm now as he keeps him grounded, wrenching at it as Vincent reaches out and tries to find a way out of this! He begins to press his feet down to the ground and push himself upward, but Kirk immediately transitions it into a wrist lock, trying to maintain control!
Stew-O: But Vincent is looking to respond to this as well, as he rolls forward, twisting himself around and locking in a wrist lock of his own! Kirk is trapped for the moment, BUT RESPONDS AS HE BOOTS HIM RIGHT IN THE ABDOMEN! He then turns around and runs the ropes, but Vincent immediately hits a drop down, making his way back up to his feet as Kirk runs to the opposite pair of ropes, and Vincent hits a leap frog, BEFORE LEAPING INTO THE AIR AND CONNECTING WITH A DROPKICK STRAIGHT TO THE CHEST TO DROP HIM DOWN TO THE CANVAS!
Flannery McCoy: Kirk lands right on his back but makes his way back up to his feet, WITH VINCENT LIFTING HIS LEG AND GOING FOR A ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE SIDE OF HIS HEAD- Only for Kirk to duck under that! He grabs hold of him in a rear waist lock and brings him toward the center of the ring, LIFTING HIM OFF OF THE GROUND AND GOING FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX- BUT THAT DOESN’T WORK AS VINCENT CONNECTS WITH A HARD BACK ELBOW TO THE FACE, WHICH SENDS HIM STAGGERING BACK! Vincent then takes a moment to recover before spinning around, GOING FOR AN ENZUIGIRI-
Jake Mercer: BUT KIRK MANAGES TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY OF THAT AS HE SNATCHES A HOLD OF HIS ANKLES! Vincent lands on his back and now it’s Kirk who tries to turn him around and go for a Boston Crab submission! He’s trying to cinch it in, but the former Interwire Champion is refusing as he tries to struggle himself free! He’s doing what he can right now to fight back, but Kirk is in control as he drags him toward one of the corners, BEFORE SLINGSHOTTING HIM FACE FIRST INTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE!
Stew-O: Vincent connects with the padding as he collapses to the ground, allowing the opportunity for Kirk to make his way back up to his feet and catch his breath. Both of them have been going 100 miles per hour, but they know that the only one who’s going to win is the one who can survive the longest. Vincent grabs a hold of the ropes and slowly drags himself up to his feet, falling against the corner as he’s trying his best to get himself back into this match, but the only thing that he gets in response is a knife-edge chop straight to the chest by Kirk Redwood! Vincent is hurt, but Kirk doesn’t stop as he connects with another chop, just lighting him up right now!
Flannery McCoy: Kirk follows it up as he grabs hold of him by the head and sends him down to the ground with a Snapmare! Vincent is in a seated position as Kirk sizes him up, CONNECTING WITH A PENALTY KICK STRAIGHT TO THE SPINE! And now Kirk is looking to go for something here, snatching the head of Vincent and bringing him up to his feet, AS HE TRIES FOR THE ‘BRAINDEAD BUSTER’!
Jake Mercer: But the Butterfly Brainbuster doesn’t connect! Vincent manages to break one of his arms free as he unwinds himself, PULLING KIRK IN AND CONNECTING WITH A SHORT-ARM CLOTHESLINE TO DROP HIM DOWN TO THE CANVAS! He keeps hold of the arm, heaving Kirk back up to his feet before he sends him toward the corner with an Irish whip! Vincent then rushes forward, IT’S TIME! ‘GALICK GUN’!
Stew-O: BUT KIRK MANAGES TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY OF THAT JUST IN TIME! He makes his way back up to his feet as he grabs Vincent from behind, LIFTING HIM OFF THE GROUND AND DROPPING HIM ONTO THE TOP OF HIS HEAD WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! Kirk rises back up to his feet, BUT HE DOESN’T SEE THAT VINCENT DOES AS WELL AS HE SHOOTS BACK UP AND NAILS HIM ACROSS THE FACE WITH A BICYCLE KICK!
Flannery McCoy: Vincent is now beginning to set him up as he grabs hold of him by the head and pulls him in, and it looks like it’s time! AS HE CONNECTS WITH A ‘REIRYOKU’! THE FIRE THUNDER DRIVER DROPS KIRK STRAIGHT DOWN AS VINCENT HOLDS THE PIN! THE REFEREE DROPPING DOWN FOR THE COUNT, POTENTIALLY TO END THIS MATCH!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHRR-
Jake Mercer: BUT KIRK MANAGES TO SHOOT THE SHOULDER UP! The Dog of War isn’t out of this match just yet, and he refuses to, knowing that he’s walking into this match with a purpose, and that’s to get a victory. Vincent has an exhausted expression on his face as he begins to make his way up to his feet, knowing that he’s going to have to do a lot more if he wants to keep an Elitist like Kirk Redwood down for the count!
Stew-O: And that’s what he’s starting to do, as he makes his way over and locks in a chin lock! He’s trying to wear him down, and he has a good chance to do so while Kirk is still recovering by the signature move being hit on him! Kirk is gasping for air and reaching out toward the ropes, doing whatever he possibly can right now to get himself back into this match, but it’s not easy, especially against a former Interwire Champion like Vincent Mondrian!
Flannery McCoy: Kirk is beginning to show some fight, as he’s slowly beginning to rise to his feet, VIncent doing everything that he can in order to keep him down, but it’s looking like that’s not going to be something that lasts for very long in this situation! Kirk is up to a kneeling position and while Vincent transitions into a side headlock, it’s apparent that he’s getting himself back into this match as Kirk pushes himself up and begins to connect with repeated punches to the abdomen! Kirk Redwood is trying his best to force himself free, and it looks like it’s working as Vincent is losing his grip!
Jake Mercer: AND THIS GIVES KIRK THE CHANCE TO WRAP HIS HANDS AROUND HIS WAIST AND LIFT HIM OFF THE GROUND INTO A BACK SUPLEX! Vincent is dropped on the back of his head as he clutches it in pain, staggering back up to his feet as Kirk Redwood has turned the tide, AND KIRK RUSHES TOWARD HIM AND DROPS HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A HARD FOREARM STRIKE! Vincent is dropped onto his back but quickly makes his way back up to his feet, ONLY FOR KIRK TO MUSTER THE STRENGTH TO CONNECT WITH A SECOND FOREARM STRIKE TO TAKE HIM DOWN! Vincent has his back against the wall now, but is still managing to persist as he makes his way back up to his feet, GOING FOR A STRIKE STRAIGHT TO HIS FACE- BUT KIRK MANAGES TO DUCK UNDER THAT AS HE HOOKS THE ARM, LIFTING HIM OFF OF THE GROUND AND DROPPING HIM ONTO HIS HEAD WITH A DRAGON SUPLEX!
Stew-O: Vincent rolls himself under the bottom rope and out of the ring, realizing the predicament that he’s in right now and doing what he can to create distance, but against an opponent like Kirk Redwood, he’s going to find out quickly that’s not something that he can do! Kirk is back up to his feet as he turns around, running to the ropes and back as Vincent is recovering at the ringside area!
Flannery McCoy: KIRK SHOOTING THROUGH AND CONNECTING WITH THE SUICIDE DIVE EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! THE ‘STAR SNIPER’ CONNECTS AND DROPS VINCENT DOWN TO THE GROUND, AND NOW IT’S KIRK WHO HAS THE MOMENTUM IN THIS MATCH! THE DOG OF WAR SNATCHES VINCENT AND ROLLS HIM UNDER THE BOTTOM ROPE AND BACK INTO THE RING, IMMEDIATELY CRAWLING HIMSELF INSIDE AND OVER TO VINCENT AS HE HOOKS THE LEG! GOING FOR THE PIN!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHHRRRRRRRRR-
Jake Mercer: BUT VINCENT MANAGES TO FIND IT WITHIN HIM TO SHOOT THE SHOULDER UP! Neither of these Elitists is done yet; they know that they have to win this match if they want to make a statement for the Grand Rampage match, but the problem is that neither of them knows when to quit! Kirk makes his way back up to his feet, and his eyes look like he wants to finish this match off right here, and that’s not looking good for Vincent if he can’t get himself back into this match now!
Stew-O: Vincent is slowly rising to his feet, seemingly unbeknownst to him that Kirk is waiting for him, looking to close this heated bout while he has the opportunity! Vincent is firmly up to his feet as he turns himself around, falling right into the arms of Kirk Redwood!
Flannery McCoy: AS KIRK TURNS HIM UPSIDE DOWN! HE HAS A HOLD OF HIM AND IT’S TIME! ‘DOWN TO HELL’ TO VINCENT-
Jake Mercer: BUT BEFORE KIRK CAN LEAP UP, VINCENT MANAGES TO WIGGLE HIMSELF DOWN AS HE FLIPS BOTH OF THEM! AND NOW IT’S VINCENT WHO HAS HIM IN A TOMBSTONE, AS HE LEAPS UP AND PLANTS HIM WITH HIS OWN ‘DOWN TO HELL’! KIRK IS DOWN ON THE GROUND AND VINCENT QUICKLY HOOKS THE LEG AND GOES FOR THE PIN! TRYING TO WIN THE MATCH WITH KIRK’S FINISHER!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHH-
Stew-O: BUT THAT DOESN’T WORK! KIRK MANAGES TO KICK OUT AS HE REFUSES TO LET HIMSELF BE HUMILATED LIKE THAT! Vincent was close, but he knows that he has to do a little more as he gingerly makes his way back up to his feet. But at the same time, Kirk is beginning to recover as well, not letting that keep him down for very long, knowing that he’s still in the fight, but Vincent is waiting for him!
Flannery McCoy: Vincent steps forward and connects with a strike straight to the face of Kirk! And now he’s begging Kirk to hit him with his own, which he does as he responds to his own! Both of them look to start teeing off on each other as they go at it! Kirk! Vincent! Kirk! Vincent! Kirk! Vincent! Kirk! Vincent! Kirk! Vincent!
Jake Mercer: But Kirk is beginning to fight back with every ounce of energy that he has left! He connects with a follow-up shot, continuing to batter him with strikes straight to the face as Vincent goes from offense to defense! Doing what he can to block the shots while he can, but it didn’t seem like there was any use in that, as he’s beginning to be backed up against the ropes! Kirk manages to follow that up as he takes him by the wrist, sending him toward the opposite side of the ring with an Irish whip, BEFORE GOING FOR A BACK ELBOW STRAIGHT TO THE FACE- But Vincent manages to duck under that! He quickly turns himself around as Kirk does the same, BEFORE VINCENT CONNECTS HIM STRAIGHT ACROSS THE FACE WITH A HUGE BOOT! Kirk drops down to a kneeling position as Vincent takes the opportunity while he has the chance, turning himself around and running the ropes, GRABBING A HOLD OF HIM AND PLANTING HIS FACE DOWN WITH A STO!
Stew-O: Vincent rolls back up to his feet, as he sizes himself up, BEFORE LEAPING INTO THE AIR AND CONNECTING WITH A FOOT STOMP STRAIGHT TO THE CHEST- NO! Kirk manages to roll himself out of the way before getting back up to his feet, CONNECTING WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! This staggers Vincent backward, BEFORE LIFTING HIS LEG AND GOING FOR A ROUNDHOUSE KICK- But Kirk manages to duck under that! He then snatches hold of him by the head and pulls him into a front facelock! HE LIFTS HIM OFF THE GROUND AND GOES FOR A ‘BRAINDEAD BUSTER’! THE BUTTERFLY BRAINBUSTER!
Flannery McCoy: BUT VINCENT MANAGES TO FLIP HIMSELF OVER AND GRAB A HOLD BY THE ARM AND TAKE HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH AN ARM DRAG! Kirk rolls himself up to his feet, but not before Vincent makes his way up himself! Kirk quickly goes for a swing straight to the face- BUT VINCENT MANAGES TO DUCK UNDER IT! He turns himself around, AS HE LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND CONNECTS WITH A STRAIGHT OVERHEAD KICK RIGHT TO THE TOP OF HIS HEAD, WHICH DROPS HIM DOWN TO A SEATED POSITION! And now it’s Vincent who manages to get himself back on track!
Jake Mercer: Vincent slowly rises back up to his feet as he turns himself around, running the ropes and back, AS HE GOES RIGHT FOR A PENALTY KICK STRAIGHT TO THE CHEST- BUT KIRK MANAGES TO ROLL HIMSELF BACKWARD AND OUT OF THE WAY OF THAT! HE TURNS AROUND AND RUNS TO THE ROPES!
Stew-O: AS HE GOES FOR ‘.50 CAL’! THE SPRINGBOARD SUPERMAN PUNCH!
Flannery McCoy: BUT VINCENT MANAGES TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY OF THAT! AS HE TURNS AROUND AND SLIPS BEHIND KIRK BEFORE GOING FOR ‘VAN GOGH ASCENDANCY’!
Jake Mercer: BUT KIRK MANAGES TO FLIP OVER AND LAND ON HIS FEET AS HE STAGGERS BACKWARD! VINCENT RUSHES TOWARD HIM!
Stew-O: BUT KIRK JUST ROLLED FORWARD RIGHT INTO THE ‘PAROLE VIOLATION’! THE SOMERSAULT SPEAR CONNECTS AND TAKES HIM DOWN AS HE ROLLS HIM OVER AND HOOKS THE LEG! GOING FOR THE PIN ATTEMPT!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Sinister Purpose’ begins to play through the speakers of the arena as Kirk Redwood is helped up to his feet, gritting his teeth and raising his hands high in the air. The crowd gives a loud reaction to him as he pops his neck before then beginning to celebrate his victory.)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner… KIRK REDWOOD!!!!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Statement made by Kirk Redwood ahead of Grand Rampage as he gets the victory tonight against a gritty Vincent Mondrian, who was not looking to give an inch against the Dog of War. When it came down to it, though, it was Kirk who stood tall.
Jake Mercer: This is barely even a percentage of the field, and Kirk knows that he has one helluva road to go, but he’s going to make it worth it, I can say that much after such a victory. Congratulations to him!
(Kirk rolls out of the ring and makes his way up the ramp as an angry Vincent Mondrian is seen, running his hands through his hair in frustration. The last shot seen is Kirk raising his hands into the air one more time as Friday Night Dynasty fades to elsewhere.)
(A commercial plays for Bubly, featuring Minerva.)
(Dynasty comes back on air as we go to the backstage area and we see none other than; Michael Belfort standing there firm with a mic at his hand.)
Michael Belfort; Ladies and gentlemen please welcoming my guest at this time, Cosmo Goldworthy!
(Suddenly with that being said, Cosmo would join the other side of the screen. He was rubbing his hands in anticipation of being there.)
Cosmo Goldworthy: You already know how exactly how it is. Things are looking mighty nice for your boy, and it’s only continuing to climb up and get better!
Michael Belfort: Well, that went almost without saying. You are just a little bit into your EAW tenure, and you can already say that things are looking quite nice for you, as you have a New Breed Championship match right in front of you.
Cosmo Goldworthy: It feels real nice, as you know; Operation: Doomsday was not exactly the moment in the sun, I was looking for. Could have done so much more, and could have gone so much better. I did kind of have some thoughts and considerations in my head afterwards, maybe I needed to get myself in check. It had came a big problem for a little bit, but I had to just go ahead and sort it all out. I didn’t expect to be in this position in only a couple short months, to be challenging for the New Breed title, but here we already are. I know that even if I am not “ready per se” for this moment, I am built for it.
(He nodded his head, as he looked at Michael Belfort.)
Cosmo Goldworthy: I know that the champ, Effy may only be a little bit into her reign, as it’s just getting started truly. But aye, the way I see it is, doesn’t mean anything to me. Talking about how she’s one of five other females to ever be New Breed Champions alongside Hall of Famers and people who be out here, like Raven Roberts? Or even Caroline who is also on Voltage. However, with all due respect that is tough and whatnot, but I have dealt with the bitter taste of defeat in my mouth at one marquee event already. And I am not trying to feel all that again, I don’t intend on leaving this show empty handed, genuinely. I know the stakes are higher than they probably ever could be. The moment is bigger than ever, because if I screw this up? It might be genuine eternal damnation for me. Because my shot for the rest of the season at being champion, is dependent on how I play my cards at this moment. I can flip the narrative and idea on its head right here. I can be changing the entire regime just ahead of Pain For Pride. I have a shot, opportunity and chance. I cannot claim to have eternal knowledge, but I know when I got a feeling. And the thing is, I have a feeling right now. Hell, more so a straight up fact. And the fact is that Money Mo is bringing the New Breed Championship BACK to Dynasty. And it’s going to look real nice on my shoulder, and around my waist.
(Cosmo was sure of himself, exuding that that pure confidence, as he crossed his arms — nodding his head.)
Michael Belfort: Whilst you seem absolutely skyrocketed towards exiting the show as champion, I beg the question, what does a reality of you as champion bring with it? What do you want your legacy to be with such a historic title?
Cosmo Goldworthy: Look, I see exactly how and what it is. That New Breed title has been on fire these last couple do years, and look at the breeding grounds it has been for success. It’s just been again, and again, and again, and again! And it just has proceeded to continue every single time. Michael Machina rode it up to stardom, BRAE did his thing, Hans Grayson is climbing the mountain, Effy McAvoy is doing her thing too. It’s just been a real climb for that title, the future greats of EAW are truly grasping it! And it has been that way for a minute now, there is just a level of permanent withdrawal to the title. And you know? I just wanna be able to prove all that, but give it my own unique spin. I am not trying to do one thing, and create the facade of another thing, I am trying to prove that I just know, I ain’t some damn clueless fool. I know what it brings to the table, I can prove to everyone that I have the capabilities to not only talk the talk, but, I can also walk the walk. Things may have been rocky, and there is still a lot for me to prove, but I really don’t think that it’s going to be all that hard for me. Because I am going to be on my grind, and when people look at me? They are really going to envision a reality where I am New Breed Champion and not without it. I have to bring that heat, and I exactly will. Things might have been rocky at Operation: Doomsday and not even close to the standard that I envisioned myself before, but that’s the character making moments right then and there. I’ll be back, and don’t you even worry about it in the slightest, because the climb back is the best thing this world has to offer! Now with that being said, I don’t think I gotta proclaim or drag this out no more than I already have. The point comes simple and the question remains basically the same; climbing the totem pole. The climb up that totem pole gone be real difficult, and the rough patch I am traveling on? In the end, it’s gonna be all worth it once I reach the top. So you know what? With that being said, Money Mo, out.
(And with that said, Cosmo made his presence out of the scene, as Michael Belfort nodded his head, the camera soon fading from there.)
(Transitioning over to ringside, we immediately can hear “Invincible” by Pop Smoke blaring on the speakers.)
Stew-O: Chris Elite is here with a big matchup ahead of him, and let’s be honest here, it seems as if this man has his intentions set on one preliminary goal.
Flannery McCoy: Chris Elite has the want, need and will to be a champion again, and he’s almost appearing with every single opportunity, looking to spill out for that chance!
Jake Mercer: Chris Elite obviously wants to be champion again in EAW, and it is clear he’ll go to any waking means to be back in that position! But wait a second, despite the match that is about to happen, Chris Elite has a microphone at hand, I think he has something to say!
(Chris Elite made his way into the ring, and he swiftly chimed everyone down. With the microphone at hand, he just nodded his head.)
Chris Elite: I don’t think this needs to be said anymore than it already has. I am not here to play games anymore, I took my shot. Then it proceeded to land. And things are looking up for me, and in two weeks, things are looking very nice. I have the chance to become champion, and even more than that, I have a chance to do something that has been a long time coming. The last time you witnessed me hold gold in EAW was a long damn time ago. When myself and Jake Smith held the Unified Tag Team titles together, and that was too long ago. 3 years without being champion isn’t the exact thing I want to be fully remembered for. I am not happy about that, and I am tired of people playing with my name, and question whether or not it’s worth it for me to still be competing.
(You could see the boiled up frustration on the face of Chris Elite, as he paced around backwards and forth in the ring, shaking his head.)
Chris Elite: Sick of people really trying to say these things, when they haven’t been able to do an ounce of what I have done in EAW. I know that I can be a champion, and I just had to be back on that high horse again with an opportunity like so. Holly Arrow and Jay Jerry Johnson don’t got nothing on me, and they can sit there and whine about this and that, but I know what I did. I was not some idiot, and I didn’t try to just call my shot. I let it all come to me, and I fortunately got to witness Jay slip up, and now suddenly everyone wants to sound like an insecure whiny baby, you so serious about that right…? Alright then, too bad, so sad. I don’t give the greatest moment of a damn, I am coming for gold at Grand Rampage. And in case I had to remind everyone because they’ve forgotten, I am glad that I can take the time before this match to kind of just spill it all out. I am going to come in with the focus, and both Holly Arrow and Jay Jerry Johnson can both know it, it’s going to be a tough pill for them to swallow, but they are just gonna have to sit there and digest it all in. Chris Elite is back up, and I have been playing in the dark with the lights off for too long. I am only going to get better, especially with that Interwire title in my possession nonetheless. And then they’re going to be reminded of why I am called Gawd Given Greatness.
(With his message delivered, Chris puts down the mic and gets into his corner, warming up. Stephie Love enters the ring and gets on with the official introductions.)
Stephie Love: The following is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Stephie Love: Already in the ring, from Brooklyn, New York, weighing in at 210 pounds, he is “GAWD GIVEN GREATNESS” CHRRIIISSS! ELLLLIITTTEEEE!!
Flannery McCoy: This is a must win for Chris Elite, though! He snuck his way into the Interwire Championship match at Grand Rampage, and I’m sure that Jay Jerry Johnson and Holly Arrow are watching right now.
Jake Mercer: Jay Jerry Johnson is insistent on taking on all comers! But it would certainly support Holly’s case as to why Chris shouldn’t be in this match if he fails to win… Chris has to keep that in mind tonight.
(‘Burn in My Light’ by Mercy Drive hits the PA speakers and Kai Rabeaux sways out from the back with a cocky demeanor. He trudges down the ramp, allowing the fans to take a moment to bask in the glory that he brings. Kai takes his time headed into the ring, climbing the middle rope and throwing his arms out forward to pose.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from New York City, New York, weighing in at 230 pounds, “THE FORERUNNER” KKKKAAAIIIII! RRRAABBBEEAAAUUUXXXXX!!!
Stew-O: Last week, Kai Rabeaux was unable to defeat BRAE, but he has a chance to bounce back tonight by defeating Chris Elite, whose resume speaks for itself at this point in this company.
Jake Mercer: Despite that L, Kai has shown tons of promise here on Dynasty. You can’t deny that whatsoever. This could be the biggest win of Kai’s career thus far if he’s able to pick it off!)
(DING DING DING!)
Stew-O: The bell rings and both of these men circle the ring, getting a good feel for each other. Kai has a very confident look on his face, trying to tackle down the Hall Of Famer. He wastes no time, swinging for a clothesline! But Elite ducks under and forearms him! He nails Kai with a chop, and Rabeaux falls into the ropes. Chris takes his wrist for an irish whip but Kai reverses with one of his own! He dropkicks the knee out, sending Chris to his fours! Kai rises and hits off the ropes, but Chris pops up to his feet and shoulder tackles Kai right down!
Flannery McCoy: Strong start from Elite, who hits off of the ropes! Kai rolls over, trying to trip Chris! He leaps over and both men are up to their feet. Dropkick from Elite! Kai rises and Elite dropkicks him again! Kai rises, getting frustrated! Chris going for a third dropkick, but Kai catches his legs! He takes them, rolling over into a BOSTON CRAB! Early on, Kai is trying to tap Elite out with a submision! Chris grits his teeth, reaching out for the ropes! He’s yelling out in agony, but Kai continues to press on that boston crab!
Jake Mercer: But Elite is starting to stir! He rolls over, kicking Kai off of him! Kai skids back and rises. He swings for Elite, who ducks under and cracks him with a spinning thrust kick to the ribs! Elite hits off the ropes and Kai swings again! He rolls underneath and leaps to the middle ropes, flying into a crossbody–-DROPKICK FROM RABEAUX! He caught him with a dropkick of his own! The most impressive thing about this Kai Rabeaux kid is how good he is at picking up on cues like that.
Stew-O: Elite drags Kai up and forearms him. He chops him back, and Kai falls into the ropes. Elite takes Kai by the wrist for an irish whip, but Kai reverses! He shoulder tackles him! Once again, Kai is replicating what Elite is doing. He hits off the ropes, but Chris rolls and pops to his feet. He leapfrogs over Kai! Another drop down, Kai turns back and it’s an armdrag from Elite! Kai rises and Elite armdrags him again! Both up and Chris sends Kai over to the apron with a back body drop! Rabeaux hanging on to the top rope for dear life…!
Flannery McCoy: Chris turns back and Kai blocks the arm! He hooks the head and brings him down with a hotshot! Chris falls back and Kai begins to climb the top rope! But Chris pushes the ropes, sending Kai falling back in the ring! Chris steps out to the apron, he begins to make his way up top and Kai slowly rises. Kai looks around, dazed and confused. Elite is waiting for him! AND HE DIVES OFF THE TOP FOR A JUMPING DDT–- WAIT!
Stew-O: Kai caught Chris out of the air! He holds onto him, despite Chris wrapping his legs around the waist of Rabeaux and trying to force the DDT! Kai removes his legs from around him and deadlifts him up! Northern lights suplex, sending Elite across the ring! Elite holds his back, rolling away to the turnbuckles. He takes the ropes and uses them to rise. Rabeaux is up to his feet and he spots Chris trying his hardest to recover. Kai points forward to him! HE RUNS FORWARD FOR THE ‘HOLLOW POINT!’
Jake Mercer: THAT FLYING KICK TO THE JAW! BUT ELITE COUNTERS! Kai gets crouched up on the top rope! Rabeaux holds his groin in agony! Chris pushes up to the middle rope. He points to Kai and he LEAPS INTO A DIVING LARIAT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! RABEAUX FLIES OFF THE TOP ROPE AND TO THE CANVAS! Chris quickly drags him up to his feet, wasting absolutely no time! He jams his head into his thighs and scoops him up! Marching to the center, Chris takes Rabeaux out with a SIT-OUT POWERBOMB! THE BACK OF THE HEAD BOUNCES OFF THE CANVAS, AND HE MAKES THE COVER!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Flannery McCoy: KICK OUT FROM RABEAUX! Chris shakes his head. He pulls Kai up and slaps him! Kai is on wobbly legs, and Chris bounces off the ropes, ready to take Kai out! He goes to the side of him! ALMIGHTY PUS–NO! KAI TURNS AND CATCHES HIM WITH A KNEE TO THE JAW! That completely takes Elite off guard! Rabeaux then takes the head of Chris and lifts him up vertically! BRAINBUSTER IN THE CENTER OF THE RING! Kai crawls over and he immediately covers Chris!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Stew-O: BUT NOW IT’S ELITE WHO KICKS OUT! That was close, both of these two! They’re trying to pull out all they have to get the advantage here! Kai drags Chris up and forearms him. He turns him with another elbow! Kai takes the waist of Chris, lifting him up for a back suplex! Chris lands it! He hooks the waist of Kai and lifts him for one of his own! But Kai drives an elbow to the top of his head! He takes that momentum and drops back to his feet, Chris tries to lift him again but Kai backflips out himself! He then shoves Chris to the ropes, running forward into a forearm against the ropes!
Jake Mercer: Chris bounces off and Kai takes the head. He turns him and throws him out the middle rope! He drapes Chris through the middle rope, looking around with no fear. HANGMAN DDT FROM RABEAUX! AND ELITE GETS PLANTED INTO THE CANVAS! But Kai doesn’t want to go for the cover, though! He still insists on hitting something impactful to wrap this one up! Kai rises to his feet, pointing down to Chris’s body!
Flannery McCoy: He scoops him up from the canvas and lifts him upside down. ‘KINGSTONE PILEDRIVER!’ NO! CHRIS SLIPS OFF AND HE FLIPS THE POSITION OVER TO HIS SHOULDER! WHAT A COUNTER FROM ELITE! ‘44 BULLDOG!’ THE LAWN DART INTO THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE! KAI GOES DOWN!
Jake Mercer: Elite isn’t done there either! He falls to a knee, gasping out in pain. Kai is holding at the top of his head, crying out in pain! Chris rises to his feet! He quickly drags Rabeaux up! He turns him around, hooking the waist. Chris reaches down, popping him up in the air! ‘FUSION DANCE!’ THE BELLY TO BELLY NECKBREAKER CONNECTS! AND THE BACK OF KAI’S HEAD BOUNCES OFF OF THE CANVAS! Elite has to be feeling good right now as he rolls him over for the cover!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR–-
Stew-O: KICK OUT FROM RABEAUX! What’s it gonna take for Chris to win this?! He slowly makes his way up from the canvas, taking Kai by the head. Elite falls to a kneel, shaking his head. He needs a moment to recover, and he pulls Kai to his feet. Kai falls back down to his feet and Chris shakes his head. He tries once again, but Rabeaux is deadweight once more and falls to his feet!
Flannery McCoy: That’s not a good look for Rabeaux. He can hardly stand right now. IT’s up to Chris to take advantage of that. He reaches down for Kai, and KAI THUMBS HIM IN THE EYE! Chris falls back, holding his eye in agony! The fans are booing and Kai doesn’t care! He’s laughing as he scoots away from him with all of his might! Kai is trying to save his ass right now! Chris stumbles after Kai, pissed off!
Jake Mercer: But Kai catches him with an elbow to the jaw! Chris is on wobbly legs and Kai runs forward with a SHOTGUN DROPKICK! Down goes Elite! Kai sees Chris get sent into the turnbuckles and he rises to his feet! Off the turnbuckles he comes! ‘HOLLOW POINT!’ ONCE AGAIN, CHRIS EVADES IT BY DUCKING DOWN! Kai gets crouched up top! Chris leaps into an enzuigiri to the back of the head! He climbs the middle rope and turns him around! Repeated forearms from Elite, and he begins to bring himself up top…
Stew-O: No! Kai slips down and he grabs Chris by the wrist, sending him face first into the ring post! Chris is dazed up top! Kai slips back in and climbs up with him. He takes Chris by the head and turns him. Kai forearms Chris over and over. He stands up top and looks around… OH my god! AVALANCHE SPANISH FLY! BOTH MEN GO FLYING OFF THE TOP ROPE AND STRAIGHT TO THE CANVAS! KAI QUICKLY ROLLS CHRIS ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE RING! Chris is aching at his back, trying to use anything to pull himself back up to his feet and back into this match!
Flannery McCoy: That simply fuels Rabeaux, who’s now coming off of the turnbuckles! He’s screeching out, yelling at Elite as he cracks him with a ‘HOLLOW POINT!’ THE FLYING KICK TO THE JAW! DOWN GOES ELITE! HE FALLS FLAT ONTO HIS FACE! KAI TAKES THE WRIST AND DRAGS HIM ALL THE WAY TO THE CENTER OF THE RING! KAI ROLLS CHRIS OVER FOR THE COVER!!!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR–-
Stew-O: NO! ELITE KICKS OUT! IT TOOK THREE TRIES TO GET HOLLOW POINT AND IT DIDN’T EVEN WIN THE MATCH FOR KAI! That has to be very demoralizing right now! Kai is laid out on the canvas, pissed off! He slowly rises, taking a deep breath. Kai drags Chris up and flips him upside down. Kai grins, sticking his tongue out! Elite desperately flails his legs, trying to get free!
Jake Mercer: ‘KINGSTONE PILEDRIVER’ FROM RABEAUX! ONCE AGAIN–NO! SCOUTED OUT! CHRIS BRINGS HIM DOWN WITH A VICTORY ROLL! HE PRESSES THE SHOULDERS TO THE CANVAS! THE REFEREE SLIDES TO THE COUNT!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR–-
Flannery McCoy: KICK OUT FROM KAI! Both men quickly rise to their feet and run forward! Both men leap into a clothesline! And they go down! The double clothesline sends them now, and now they’re going to have to work really hard to rebuild! Kai rolls over, wheezing out in pain. Chris plants his hands on the canvas, trying to work his way up.
Stew-O: Kai takes the ropes and he’s up first. Elite slowly rises! Forearm from Kai! Then Elite! Back to Kai! Right back to Elite! Chop from Kai, and then Elite chops him back! Kai swings a boot but Chris sidesteps it! He hooks the leg from behind! He lifts him up in an argentine hold! ‘HOURS IN SILENCE!’ NO! KAI FLIPS OVER HIM! He reaches around and grabs the eyes of Elite, beginning to rake them! Chris screams out in pain, backing up against the turnbuckle! The referee runs forward, trying to break it up!
Referee: (off-mic) HEY HEY COME ON! LET GO!
Jake Mercer: They’re back into to the corner! The referee is trying to pry away Kai’s grip on Elite’s eyes! And Elite runs Kai back first into the turnbuckles! Kai releases and Chris staggers forward. He holds at his eyes, shaking his head. But here comes Rabeaux off of the ropes! ‘REDLINED!’ THE LARIAT SENDS ELITE ONTO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD!
Flannery McCoy: That’s exactly what Rabeaux was looking for. And he has a big grin on his face. He drags Elite up to his feet, looking him into his eyes. Kai slaps Chris around, yelling at him.
Kai Rabeaux: (off-mic) This was a long time coming for you, old man! It is MY time to shine! And there’s nothing that you can do about it!
Stew-O: Very strong words from Kai, who now scoops Elite up by the jaw and turns his back to him! Kai backs up, pointing at his elbow. And he runs forward! HE SWINGS IN FOR ‘THE BLADE OF BABYLON!!!” ELITE DUCKS UNDER AT THE LAST SECOND! HE HOOKS THE WAIST AND RUNS HIM TO THE ROPES! O’CONNOR ROLL!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEE!!!
Flannery McCoy: NO! KAI FLIPS IT OVER! AND HE HOOKS THE TIGHTS! O’CONNOR ROLL FROM RABEAUX! HE”S CHEATING!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: (off-mic) NO! YOU HAVE THE TIGHTS!
Stew-O: HAHAHA! Rabeaux got caught in the act! Rabeaux releases Chris, looking up at the referee in shock! He’s screaming at him, trying to get him to go back to the three count! But the referee is enforcing the law here! Rabeaux turns back to Elite, incensed!
Jake Mercer: He reaches down to drag him up… UP KICK FROM ELITE! Rabeaux staggers to a kneel! Elite rises to his feet, wasting no time! ‘BOX OFFICE SMASH!’ THE FLYING KICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD! AND DOWN GOES RABEAUX HE’S OUT OF IT! CHRIS ROLLS HIM OVER AND PINS HIM!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner of this match, CHHRRIISSS! EELLLIITTTEEEE!!!
(Chris sits up, raising his arm up. He looks down at Kai and chuckles, aware that his cheating ways caught up to him. He rises and the referee helps him up, taking his arm as well. Chris rolls out, making his way to the back. Meanwhile, Kai is still trying to figure out where it went wrong in the ring.)
Jake Mercer: One hell of a win for Chris Elite! Continuing to show that he is a step above the younger talent here in EAW, he was just the smarter competitor tonight!
Stew-O: Kai got too desperate and he paid for it. The referee caught him grabbing those tights and the rest was history from there. This isn’t a loss that’ll stain him, but his failure to beat a legend like Elite will certainly stick with him.
(A commercial plays for NCAA women’s basketball, featuring UConn’s Paige Beckers wearing a Chris Elite shirt.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(“Rise and Fall” by Starset began playing to loud cheers from the audience as Corey Hale slowly made his way out onto the stage with a calm expression on his face; he gazed out to the audience before looking up to the cosmos. A smile appeared on his face as he made his way down the ramp, tagging the fans at the front row of the ramp seats as he did.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST! Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, weighing in at 200 pounds… he is THE CELESTIAL WANDERER, COREEEEEEEEEEEEEY! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALE!
Stew-O: Here comes the Celestial Wanderer himself, and he is looking determined as ever to make a statement here tonight; after all, for viewers that have been paying attention, this is a Grand Rampage preview match! Both Corey Hale and his opponent tonight will be participating in the Grand Rampage match hoping to punch their ticket to the main event of Pain for Pride!
Flannery McCoy: And could you just IMAGINE what a tremendous boost to Corey’s career it would be if he managed to get such a huge victory? He may not be one of the favorites to win the match, but you can’t say that Corey Hale isn’t the picture of perfect cardio and a calm mind, BOTH of which are very important for a Grand Rampage winner to have!
Jake Mercer: He’s got his work cut out for him tonight, though, because he’s going up against one half of one of the most promising new tag teams in EAW today; if he’s able to get a win tonight, it’ll get him some much-needed momentum after his triple threat defeat to Vincent Mondrian last week!
(“Let Me Hear” by Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas began blaring through the speakers to loud boos as Saori Aizen emerged from behind the stage curtains with a smirk on her face; flanking her to her right was Daniella Atlas, watching the ring carefully. She basked in the boos of the crowd, unwavering, before marching down the ramp towards the squared circle with Daniella staying at ringside.)
Stephie Love: AND HIS OPPONENT! Hailing from Tokyo, Japan, weighing in at 130 pounds, and accompanied by Daniella Atlas… she is THE REAPER, SAAAAAOOOOOOOOOORIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII! AAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!
Stew-O: And here is the Reaper accompanied by the Black Flame; Saori Aizen had a great showing last week and managed to secure the victory, and you know that this highly competitive woman is looking to secure every bit of momentum that she can get her hands on with such an important match over the horizon!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella Atlas will be sure to watch closely from ringside; not just because it’s her partner wrestling in the ring tonight, but because BOTH of these wrestlers will be one of the many at Grand Rampage looking to secure that main event spot! Daniella Atlas’ own ambition cannot be discounted!
Jake Mercer: For tonight, though, she’ll have to stay on the sidelines and root for Saori as she wages war with the Celestial Wanderer! Both of them will be looking to get that momentum for the Grand Rampage match, but only one of them will be able to get it; which one of them will it be?!
Stew-O: It’s time to find out!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: And the match is underway! The Reaper and the Celestial Wanderer both step out from their respective corners and begin pacing around the ring, circling around its center as they keep a close eye on each other; Corey is approaching this with a more relaxed pace, befitting his zen personality, but Saori’s stride is far more aggressive as she no doubt looks to take Corey out as quickly as possible!
Flannery McCoy: Unsurprisingly, it is Saori who is the first to engage her opponent as she breaks the circling to lunge forward towards the Celestial Wanderer, breaking the pace abruptly enough to catch him off guard and pull him into a collar and elbow tie up! Saori immediately gets to work as she ducks underneath the arm of Corey Hale to get behind him, although she does reach forward and pulls his arm back alongside her!
Jake Mercer: That’s exactly what she was looking to do it, it seems, as she twists that arm above her head in a classic arm wrench before YANKING it down in order to inflict some heavy discomfort and pain to the arm and joint of the Celestial Wanderer! In a case like this, Saori’s height is actually advantageous for her, because she is able to pull Corey’s arm lower than another taller opponent would!
Stew-O: She keeps control over that twisted arm of Corey’s, transitioning it into a pure wrist lock and wrenching at it to force the Celestial Wanderer to contort his own body just to prevent that arm from popping out of its socket! The Reaper shows no mercy here, though, because she begins peppering that arm with kicks to the elbow joint while she still has that wrist lock applied!
Flannery McCoy: Saori doesn’t allow herself to stick with just one tactic against the arm she clearly has her sights on, because she transitions that wrist lock into a hammer lock before Corey could find a way to escape it! With that hammer lock applied, Saori Aizen jumps up and places her knee up against the locked arm before falling back, gripping Corey as she does to drag him alongside her; it’s a single knee hammerlock backstabber from the Reaper, showing some impressive grappling acumen as she utilizes Corey’s weight against him, inflicting heavy damage to that arm!
Jake Mercer: That has Corey writhing on the canvas, clutching at his damaged arm with his unharmed one as he tries to relieve the pain through compression; however, Saori immediately puts a stop to this, pulling away the damaged arm and isolating it against the canvas before giving it a quick stomp on the elbow, much to the agony of the Celestial Wanderer!
Stew-O: She leaves the arm lying on the canvas there before taking a few steps, aiming right at the arm with nothing but malicious intentions, I’m sure! Without any further hesitation, she rushes forward, launching a SOCCER KICK at the hurt arm—but wait, Corey Hale was able to pull the arm away just in time! Saori Aizen’s soccer kick hit nothing but the air, and the unexpected evasion causes the Reaper to stumble forward as she tries to stop herself!
Flannery McCoy: But with a pained and angered expression on his face, Corey Hale thrusts out his good arm and grabs hold of the ankle of the Reaper, the one she was not kicking with; he pulls on it as hard as he can, sweeping Saori in the process and causing her to fall face-first on the ring canvas with a thud!
Jake Mercer: Ooh, you can tell by the look on Saori’s face that she did NOT see that sudden reversal coming; up until now in the match, she was taking Corey Hale apart with almost no resistance, but it looked like Corey Hale waited and saw the perfect opportunity to strike in order to bring Saori Aizen’s momentum to a screeching halt! I’ve heard that some people call that ‘neutral jing’!
Stew-O: Whatever you call it, it has Saori clutching her jaw in pain after it landed unceremoniously on the ring; Daniella is slapping the mat from ringside, urging the Reaper to get back into the driver’s seat here, but Corey Hale is putting that incredible agility of his to work as he scrambles up to his feet very swiftly before sprinting at maximum speed to the ropes opposite to the Reaper!
Flannery McCoy: And with the rebound from the ropes, he rushes towards a still laid out Saori Aizen—what does he have planned?! OH! Corey Hale suddenly brings himself to the canvas, SLIDING on it as he uses the built up velocity to crash into the side of Saori Aizen with a very high-speed baseball slide dropkick to the ribcage!
Jake Mercer: A DEVASTATING attack by Corey Hale here as he looks to make up for the damage he sustained early on and using the rest of his body in order to do it, keeping that damaged arm as safe and secured as he possibly can! The baseball slide dropkick turned Saori over onto her back as she arches to the side, writhing from the pain of that maneuver; Corey Hale doesn’t seem to be finished with her yet, though, as he leaps over her and makes his way onto the apron!
Stew-O: Daniella Atlas looks up as Corey Hale grabs the top rope with one hand; I don’t know if she’s considering helping Saori out with some interference here, but she barely gets the opportunity to do so as Corey Hale uses that one-handed grip on the rope to launch himself up, landing with both feet on the top rope before springboarding off of it and towards the laid out Reaper!
Flannery McCoy: AND A FLIP IN MID-AIR AS HE COMES CRASHING DOWN ON SAORI AIZEN! SPRINGBOARD SWANTON FROM THE EVER-IMPRESSIVE COREY HALE! The momentum of that move causes Corey to bounce back up to his feet after landing on Saori Aizen, and he takes a moment to steady himself before looking back at the woman he just landed on, making sure she’s in place for what he has planned—
Jake Mercer: And that plan is to rush to the OTHER ropes and leap onto the middle rope in a single fluid motion, springboarding himself BACKWARDS and executing a backflip in mid-air before landing on top of the Reaper here with a springboard moonsault! So many flips happening here, I think I’m getting dizzy!
Stew-O: Corey Hale brings all the running and flipping to a sudden stop as he suddenly hooks the leg of Saori Aizen right here and now, looking to get a pinfall victory after that sudden burst of momentum and intense combination of moves!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOO-
Flannery McCoy: But a kick out right at the two count by the Reaper; it’s going to take much more than that to keep her down for the count, it seems, and Corey Hale clenches his teeth in acknowledgement of that fact! He gets off of Saori and drags her up to a standing position before turning her around and attempting to hoist her up with a back suplex lift—what’s this, though?!
Jake Mercer: Pain shoots through his arm and he’s unable to hoist her up at this time! Saori notices this and immediately launches back a heavy back elbow, causing Corey Hale to stagger back in pain as he clutches his jaw! The moment Corey gets his hands off the Reaper, she spins around and connects right to the ribs with a sudden side kick! And then a spin to connect with a spin kick as a follow up! The Celestial Wanderer is stumbling back…
Stew-O: AND A ROUNDHOUSE KICK FOR GOOD MEASURE BY SAORI AIZEN! Corey Hale is sent staggering back until he lands with his back up against the turnbuckles! Saori Aizen glares at him before running to the opposite corner and bouncing off the turnbuckles with her back before sprinting towards the Celestial Wanderer!
Flannery McCoy: A RUNNING LEAPING LARIAT FROM THE REAPER TO THE CORNERED COREY HALE CONNECTS! Corey is dazed for sure, and Saori looks to capitalize on the moment of vulnerability as she rushes back away from him to get another boost in momentum by rebounding once more! She runs back towards her opponent–
Jake Mercer: BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A RUNNING DROPKICK! Corey is on the ropes now, and Saori scrambles up the corner like a cat going up a tree before landing on his shoulders and going for a hurricanrana, and it connect– or NOT, SOMEHOW COREY ROLLED THROUGH IT AND GOT HER IN A PINNING PREDICAMENT!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Stew-O: Saori Aizen kicked out of it in the nick of time, blinking away her surprise at almost being caught; Corey almost managed to get a win here with that well-timed reversal, but he’s in dire straits at the moment after all the damage he’s taken from Saori Aizen’s vicious offense!
Flannery McCoy: He starts to roll over as he tries to stagger up– but the Reaper is able to scramble to her feet quicker than Corey Hale and makes sure he is not able to get up by leaping up and dropping down on that damaged arm of his with a targeted double foot stomp! THAT has got to hurt; Saori may not be the heaviest wrestler in the locker room, but the full body weight of anybody stomping down on your arm is going to leave a mark if not more!
Jake Mercer: Corey is squirming in pain with that arm clutched, and once again he finds himself in the same situation as Saori Aizen pries his arms away from each other and prevents that recuperation; this time, though, she turns him over so his abdomen is to the canvas and applies a grounded hammerlock to the undamaged arm! Interesting strategy here, what could the Reaper be thinking–
Stew-O: Oh, this can’t be good :lupe: She reaches over and grabs the damaged arm while she keeps his other arm hammer locked, and she’s wrenching it back in the style of a Fujiwara Armbar! But with Corey’s other arm pressed up against his back, how far can his damaged arm be pulled back before it just snaps off?!
Flannery McCoy: OH! SNAP SHE DOES, AS SHE GIVES AN ABRUPT AND FORCEFUL YANK TO THE ARM! THAT’S THE GROUNDED HAMMERLOCK ARMBREAKER, A MOVE WE RARELY SEE EXECUTED FROM HER, BUT IT IS ONE OF THE MOST DEVASTATING IN HER VAST ARSENAL WITHOUT A DOUBT!
Jake Mercer: Corey may be at his limit here, and I think Saori Aizen is looking to finish the Celestial Wanderer off as she drags him up with a menacing expression on her face… a stiff boot to the midsection forces Corey to double over before Saori reaches down and double underhooks his arms! I think she’s going for her signature TIGER BOMB HERE–
Stew-O: BUT TO NO AVAIL, COREY HALE USED UP AS MUCH ENERGY AS HE COULD TO STAND HIMSELF UP AND THROW SAORI OVERHEAD! Saori lands behind him on her back as Corey staggers forward towards the ropes… no, he’s breaking into a RUN towards the ropes as Saori Aizen rises up behind!
Flannery McCoy: Corey Hale rebounds off the ropes just as Saori makes it to her feet and– OH MY GOD! ZENBREAKER! COREY HALE’S SIGNATURE ZENBREAKER MANEUVER, THE RUNNING SINGLE KNEE FACEBREAKER CONNECTS, AND COREY IMMEDIATELY FALLS INTO A PIN ON TOP OF THE REAPER!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THR-
Jake Mercer: OH, AND A KICK OUT BY SAORI! COREY HALE IS LOOKING DOWNRIGHT FRUSTRATED HERE AS DANIELLA SLAPS THE CANVAS, PUSHING FOR SAORI TO KEEP HER HEAD IN THE GAME!
Stew-O: And now Corey Hale begins staggering up and dragging Saori with him– BUT NO, SAORI AIZEN DOES THE OPPOSITE! SHE SUDDENLY YANKS COREY HALE DOWN TO THE CANVAS AND PLANTS HIS ARM ONTO THE CANVAS! SHE USES HER LEG TO WRENCH THE OTHER ARM TOWARDS THE CANVAS AS WELL, BENDING IT WAY OUT OF THE RANGE IT OUGHT TO BE, AND THE GOES EVEN FURTHER BY PULLING HIS LEGS TOWARDS HER!
Flannery McCoy: THIS HAS TO BE IT! AIZEN’S RESTRAINTS! AIZEN’S RESTRAINTS ARE LOCKED IN ON COREY HALE, TARGETING THAT DAMAGED ARM AND HURTING THE REST OF HIS LIMBS IN THE PROCESS, AND THE CELESTIAL WANDERER HAS NOWHERE TO GO! HE’S YELLING IN AGONY AS HE DESPERATELY TRIES TO DO ANYTHING TO WRIGGLE OUT OF THE HOLD, BUT SAORI HAS HIM TRAPPED LIKE A FLY IN A SPIDER WEB! HE HAS TO TAP!
Jake Mercer: AND HE DOES TAP!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(“Let Me Hear” by Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas begins blaring through the speakers to loud boos as Saori Aizen slowly releases the hold; Daniella Atlas rolls into the ring and helps her up, raising her arm as she gets her triumphant victory announced.)
Stephie love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… THE REAPER, SAORIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII! AAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!
Stew-O: What a competitive showdown here between the future Grand Rampage participants, and the Celestial Wanderer certainly brought a fight to the ring tonight, but unfortunately for him it was Saori’s match to win as she was able to target his arm with ruthless efficiency and use it to bring him down!
Flannery McCoy: The only thing to keep in mind is that neither wrestler threw the other out of the ring in this match; a submission finish like that is definitely impressive in a regular match like this, but once Grand Rampage rolls around, it’s an entirely different game, and using a submission on one wrestler just leaves you vulnerable to all the other wrestlers in the match!
Jake Mercer: Nevertheless, this was not Grand Rampage, and Saori Aizen fought accordingly; congratulations to the Reaper– woah, what’s going on in the ring?
(Saori Aizen finished celebrating, it seems, and turned to face Daniella Atlas; the two of them stare at each other with Saori pointing to herself and mouthing some words including ‘Grand Rampage’. Daniella Atlas smirks and points at herself, shaking her head with competitive fervor. The tension continues building before Saori just turns around and walks off, leaving things unsettled.)
Stew-O: It looks like with Grand Rampage around the corner, tensions are rising even between the dominant duo here with Saori and Daniella; who knows how that’s going to turn out, but it seems things have managed to calm down for now before getting out of control…
(The video feed lingered at Daniella watching Saori walking up the ramp, an inscrutable look on her face, before fading to black.)
(A commercial plays for MySims Kingdom, featuring Drake Armstrong.)
(Back from commercial break, ‘Pride and Arrogance’—)
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: https://tenor.com/bC1f6.gif
Flannery McCoy: Oh. :lupe:
(The track by Takeru Kanazaki can barely be heard over the visceral reaction from the Irish fans as Drake Armstrong walks out, having his ring gear worn underneath his coat. The King of Elite is completely serious with a frown that stretches far and wide across his face as he strides down to the ring.)
Stew-O: Drake Armstrong and Brian Daniels are set to collide within mere moments here tonight on Friday Night Dynasty, but of course, we’d be remiss if we didn’t touch upon everything that has been brewing between himself and Minerva, who is set to be at ringside alongside Hans Grayson for this upcoming contest. Last week, we saw Minerva lay him out not once but twice, and as expected, the King is far from pleased with that!
Flannery McCoy: That’s because someone was finally able to check him and show there are consequences to his actions.
Jake Mercer: Excuse–WHAT!? CHECK THE KING?? Are you out of your MIND? How DARE you say that? Drake Armstrong is the rightful heir and next EAW World Heavyweight Champion, and you want to act as if he deserved such heinous injustice to be done to him? If we could kick you out, you would be the first person to go!
Flannery McCoy: Are you going to conveniently forget that Drake targeted Minerva first and thought he could further make a name for himself at her expense?
Jake Mercer: A king must remain sharp! One should not allow their crown to slip–unlike Minerva, who thought she would’ve made history a few weeks back at Operation: Doomsday.
Flannery McCoy: Oooookay. So now you’re blind support of the King is leading you to cast shade towards one of the greatest female Elitists of all time.
Jake Mercer: I’m not shading, but Minerva is…well…
Stew-O: …
Flannery McCoy: …
Jake Mercer: OkayI’llshutupnowdamn.
Stew-O: Hallelujah.
Flannery McCoy: :drakelike:
(But while Jake Mercer on commentary may be tempering his words, Armstrong doesn’t plan on doing so. As he enters the ring, he hurriedly demands a microphone and is given one. ‘Pride and Arrogance’ fades, and he stands in the center. The deafening boos only intensify as he raises it to his lips, his cold, steely gaze fixed straight ahead.)
Drake Armstrong: You people really think this is any way to treat your King?
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Drake Armstrong: You know what? Fine. Have at it. However, the only voice in this arena that matters is fine, so I suggest that all of you plebians sit down, shut up, and listen to what I have to say.
(The crowd erupts into another wave of boos, but Drake remains unfazed.)
Drake Armstrong: Last week, Minerva decided to play hero. She thought that attacking me not once, but twice, would send a message. That it would somehow humble me or put me in my place. However, she thought wrong. All she has done is enraged me even more. No one mocks me and gets away with it. No one INSULTS me and gets away with it. No one PUTS THEIR FILTHY HANDS ON ME and gets away with it. It’s that simple. I am a future World Champion, and Minerva will NOT disrespect me like this. She wants to act as if she’s teaching me some kind of lesson, but what she doesn’t realize is that she’s only digging her own grave in this instance. After all, look at what happened to that old fool Karl Impact. He did so much to fight against me, but his efforts were proven fruitless. He fell before MY might, and that means that come Grand Rampage? The same exact fate is bound to occur for Minerva.
Jake Mercer: Tell ’em, King!
Flannery McCoy: Oh, please. 🙄
Drake Armstrong: You can parade around like you’re some indomitable force, but the reality is that you’re just another stepping stone on my path to greatness. You can play the vengeful warrior all you want, but once we’re in that ring, Minerva, you’re nothing more than a pawn, a tool to showcase my superiority, which I have continued to do so TENFOLD from the very moment I was declared King.
(The audience starts a loud “MIN-ER-VA!” chant, which only makes Drake chuckle.)
Drake Armstrong: Chant her name all you want. Cheer for her defiance, but it won’t change the fact that at Grand Rampage, I will remind you all that I don’t just rule: I conquer. And maybe if Minerva wasn’t in her own precious little feelings about falling short of her own goals and losing her match, then she could’ve had a graceful loss by my hands. I can be benevolent when need be, contrary to popular belief! Yet, here we are, and Minerva, you’re about to find out soon enough that you can only get away with so much before I decide that I have had enough. You want to say that you’re sick and tired of everything? I am sick and tired of you Elitists thinking you can sully and besmirch me and my name at every corner and turn! And YOU are going to understand that fully in two weeks’ time.
Drake Armstrong: But hey–it’s a good thing I am set to have my match tonight, against Brian Daniels, no less. That insolent, egotistical, sorry excuse for a legend has talked far too much with reckless abandon towards me throughout this week, and I cannot wait to beat him. Maybe then, people will get the memo. My decree can never be false. Not when I am simply at the best point in my career yet, and people like Mr. Daniels will have to see for themselves that they’re no longer fit to lead ahead of people like me. I am The Future, and soon, Dynasty and all of EAW will be ruled by me as is intended… and people like him will no longer be needed. Minerva as well.
(Drake smirks. However, ‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ by White Zombie cuts in, and all that smugness dissipates quickly. Drake glares, and Minerva walks on out, glaring right back at him as she makes her way to the ringside area. The tension is thick as can be, but Minerva doesn’t call for a microphone or gets in the ring. Still, she and Drake exchange words as she gets closer.)
Stew-O: Minerva is out here, and she and Drake aren’t mincing a single thing!
Jake Mercer: Well, she needs to back off, because the King needs to prepare properly for his match, not jaw-jack with her!
Flannery McCoy: Drake could, you know, ignore her, but either way, Minerva is taking it upon herself to sit down. Still, she looks like she could take his head clean off if she really wanted to.
(Minerva sits, and soon, ‘The Leaving Song Pt.II” by AFI cuts through the airwaves, causing the fans to cheer as well. Hans Grayson comes out, and he high-fives some of the fans who are in the front row. At least compared to Minerva and Drake, he is in a far better mood.)
Stew-O: And here comes Hans Grayson who doesn’t have any issues on his end with his future Grand Rampage opponent Brian Daniels. Brian challenged Hans to a match at the show, which Hans accepted, and some with the UNW Universe consider this a dream match of generations as they believe both men share many similarities with one another.
Jake Mercer: Well, let’s see how well the friendly competition lasts.
(Hans takes his seat as well, and with both him and Minerva ready to watch on, Drake Armstrong can be seen warming up before Dynasty fades to commercials.)
(A commercial plays for Panera Bread, featuring Ronan Malosi.)
(When Dynasty returns from break, the camera is fixated on both Hans Grayson and Minerva who are standing near commentary with vested interest in this match.)
Stew-O: We’ve got some guests! Minerva and Hans Grayson, who will be facing Drake Armstrong and Brian Daniels at Grand Rampage respectively.
Stephie Love: The following is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(The crowd really comes alive when ‘Dragonborn’ by Jeremy Soule begins playing and Brian Daniels makes his way out from the back with his arms outstretched! He embraces the crowd reaction, marching down the ramp as he tags all of the fans reaching out for him. Brian runs up the steps and climbs up the middle rope, perching a boot on the top rope as he raises a finger up to everyone! He drops down into the ring. Brian does pause for a moment, staring at Hans Grayson at ringside)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from New York City, New York, weighing in at 195 pounds… he is BBBRRRRIIIAAANNNN! DDDAANNNNIIEEELLLLSSS!!
Jake Mercer: Brian Daniels with a lot to show for tonight. IF he’s able to pick up the win, he gets to say he beat the King Of Elite! Not to mention, it’s great momentum for his match with Hans Grayson.
Stew-O: He has to be riding a high after defeating Vincent Mondrian at Operation: Doomsday, but this is certainly new territory for him to take advantage of, a completely tougher opponent in Drake Armstrong!
(‘Pride and Arrogance’ by Takeru Kanazaki hits the PA speakers, leading to pure boos from the crowd. Drake Armstrong makes his way out with a cocky grin. He marches down to the ring, not bothered by the crowd, in fact welcoming it. He slides into the ring and climbs the middle rope, extending his arms out. He blows off Brian, but instead points to Minerva and shouts something at her.)
Stephie Love: His opponent, from Scarsdale, New York, weighing in at 245 pounds… he is THE 2025 KING OF ELITE! “THE FUTURE” DRRRRAAKKKKKEEE!!! ARRRMMMSSTTRRROOONNNNGGGGG!!!
Flannery McCoy: Drake Armstrong’s fixation with Minerva was unexpected … to say the least, but defeating Impact at Operation Doomsday, Brian Daniels tonight, and Minerva at Grand Rampage… that is an amazing set of stars for Drake to have beaten!
Stew-O: We know he’s capable of it. The question is though. Will his focus be there or not?!
(DING DING DING!)
Flannery McCoy: Here we go! Brian and Drake circle the ring and you can expect a heated back and forth technical exchange out of this one. The two lock up and immediately, Drake swings past Brian and scoops him up into a mat takedown! Drake rolls around, grabbing Brian into a front facelock, but Brian spins out and traps Drake onto his face! Brian locks in a hammerlock and Drake grits his teeth, crying out in pain. He slowly sits down, reaching for the back of Brian’s head, but Brian moves so he can’t bring him down so easily. Drake flails his leg, trying to get up to his feet.
Stew-O: Drake slowly rises to his feet, and elevates himself up! He reaches around Brian’s head, bringing him down with a flying mare! Brian goes onto his back and Drake transitions to a side headlock. Brian isn’t down for long as he brings Drake into a headscissors. Drake twirls around, still havhing his head locked around the legs of Brian. He begins to handstand… But Brian twirls his legs, cranking on the neck of Drake! Drake falls back to his fours, crying out in agony! I think he’s begging the ref to help him out here, but the ref can’t do anything but watch!
Referee: (off-mic) Do you give up, Drake?!
Drake Armstrong: (off-mic) No, you imbecile! Of course I don’t–AAAAHHH!!!
Jake Mercer: Brian plants his hands onto the canvas, just adding MORE pressure! Drake is screaming out in pain, trying his hardest to get free! Minerva has to be pleased about that. Drake plants his hands onto the knees of Brian, slowly opening his legs out. He goes back to that handstand, floating over into a grounded headlock! Brian slowly rises to his feet and Drake keeps it in tight. Brian brings Drake to the ropes and sends him off! Drop toe hold from Brian, and he floats over into a grounded hammerlock! Drake wasn’t free for long at all!
Stew-O: He reaches for the bottom rope, trying to rise. Drake scoots to a seat, starting to scoot towards the ropes! He wants to get his foot on the rope! But Brian releases his arm and takes the ankle. He drags Drake to the center and begins to twist the ankle. Drake cries out in pain, but he sends a boot to Brian’s head! Another boot, and he finally kicks Brian off! Brian skids to his feet and Drake rises up. Brian charges in, and Drake brings him down with a side headlock takedown!
Flannery McCoy: This has been a strong start for Drake. But Brian is insistent. He rolls over and begins to grab the wrists of Drake! He pulls tight, starting to break the grip of Drake! And he finally breaks free! He hooks one arm, and he wraps his arm around Drake’s throat! The crossface chickenwing is in! Drake cries out in pain, reaching for the ropes! Brian leaps onto his back, now applying a backpack! Drake is starting to have all of that weight press down on him. Drake is about to fall, but no! Drake stumbles backwards! Brian falls to his feet, and Drake runs them backwards into the turnbuckles! Drake takes the hands of Brian and judo tosses him over his shoulder. Brian rolls back to his feet. Drake takes the legs though!
Jake Mercer: A double leg takedown from Armstrong! He now takes the ankle of Daniels and now HE twists it! Hans grimaces at that, and we know that he’s going to fight Brian Daniels at Grand Rampage, but there’s nothing more than he would like for Daniels to beat his career rival, Drake Armstrong! Drake is applying a lot of pressure on that ankle crank, and this forces Daniels to dig deep!
Stew-O: He pushes forward, flipping Drake off with all of his might! BUT DRAKE CARTWHEELS TO HIS FEET! Brian is back up and another double leg takedown from Drake! He got up much quicker than Daniels expected! Drake now takes the ankle and back into that ankle crank! Brian cries out in pain, and now Drake takes the legs. He looks to float over, into a boston crab! But Daniels punches the head! He punches the head again! Brian takes him by the head, bringing him down into an inside cradle!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW–-
Jake Mercer: Kick out from Armstrong! Both men rise and meet each other with a forearm at the same time! Drake staggers, and Brian may be the better striker too! He throws a kick to the thigh! And then a chest kick! Another chest kick! But Brian is starting to slow down… the work Drake has done on that ankle already! Brian swings another but Drake catches it! DRAGONSCREW LEGWHIP! Brian goes flying forward! Drake takes the leg and lays it down! LEAPING STOMP TO THE ANKLE! Brian sits up, crying out in pain!
Flannery McCoy: Drake is laughing at this! He turns around, pointing to Minerva. Minerva shakes her head, not approving at all!
Minerva: (off-mic) How about you just focus on the match, hm, Drake?!
Drake Armstrong: (off-mic) Just a glimpse of what I’m capable of ahead of Grand Rampage, be glad you have a front row seat to the preview of your impending doom.
Stew-O: A lot of energy wasted on speaking right there from Armstrong. He reaches down for Brian, slowly pulling him up. Drake takes the leg for another dragonscrew legwhip, but this time! AN ENZUIGIRI FROM DANIELS! Drake falls to his fours! Brian rises and takes the arm of Drake, twirling it around his arm! He rolls forward! LA MAGISTRAL CRADLE! TO THE COVER!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Flannery McCoy: Drake kicks out, but a two count this time! Both rise and Brian chops him! Another chop from Brian! Drake staggers, as he gets chopped again! Brian is on one leg at this point, but he doesn’t care! Drake swings for Brian’s skull, but he ducks under and SLAPS HIM! Drake falls to his knees, dazed and confused! He tries to get back up to his feet, but Brian chops him back into the turnbuckles!
Jake Mercer: No hesitation from Daniels! Who now fires Drake up with MACHINE GUN CHOPS! Armstrong is crying out in pain as his chest is being lit up by Daniels! Minerva has a big grin on her face, Hans Grayson is even clapping it up for Brian! Daniels elbows Drake and he falls against the corner.
Stew-O: Brian turns and staggers forward. He falls into the turnbuckle, holding at his foot. He turns and points to Drake. RUNNING FORWARD! ‘STARKILLER!’ THE CORNER BOOT TO THE JAW! DOWN GOES DRAKE! Brian rolls him over, but he can’t make the cover! He falls down because of the bad ankle! Brian is crying out in pain!
Hans Grayson: (off-mic) COME ON, BRIAN! MAKE THE COVER!
Flannery McCoy: With his Grand Rampage opponent on his side, Brian crawls over and makes the cover! Drake is out of it!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTTHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRR–-
Jake Mercer: LEG ON THE ROPE FROM ARMSTRONG! He got the leg on the rope! Daniels was so close to winning this match, but it’s not enough! Daniels groans, rolling to the apron. He takes the ropes and begins to climb. But with the bad leg, how is he going to do that?! Daniels shakes his head, powering through to his feet. He takes a moment, to look around at the fans!
Stew-O: He nods his head profusely! AND BRIAN DIVES OFF FOR A DIVING HEAD–NO! THE LEG GIVES OUT! AND HE COLLAPSES ON THE TOP ROPE! Drake quickly rises to his feet, realizing this! He takes Brian by the head, draping him off the top rope! And Armstrong runs forward without hesitation! CUTTER RIGHT TO THE CANVAS!
Flannery McCoy: Drake then rolls over, scooping Brian up off of the canvas. He grabs him in a half-nelson, hooks the other arm for a half-chickenwing… ‘NATURAL TALENT!’ THE HALF AND HALF SUPLEX! RIGHT ONTO THE BACK OF BRIAN’S HEAD! DRAKE ROLLS HIM OVER FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTTHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRR–-
Jake Mercer: KICK OUT FROM DANIELS! Drake falls back in shock! He slaps the mat, pissed! Drake makes his way over to the turnbuckles. He already wants to end this! Brian rolls over, crying out in pain. His neck, his ankle! They’re both killing him! Brian slowly rises, and Drake runs forward!
Stew-O: ‘HALBERD FROM HELL!’ THE DROPKICK– NO! BRIAN MOVES! Drake holds his back, aching out in pain! Drake slowly rises and Brian clotheslines him to the floor! Drake lands, hitting hard. Brian hits off despite the pain in his ankle! SUICIDE DIVE BRINGS DRAKE DOWN INTO THE BARRICADE!
Flannery McCoy: Brian is pounding down at Drake! Drake forearms him back, and the two go back and forth! Now we’ve got a brawl outside the ring! Drake takes Brian by the hair and throws him into the post! Down goes Brian! Drake limps to him, pulling him up. He turns Brian and lifts him up! BRIAN TRIES TO GET FREE–’BY THE BOOTSTRAPS!’ JUMPING SHINBREAKER ON THE TOP OF THE BARRICADE! MY GOD! BRIAN GOES DOWN, CRYING OUT IN PAIN! Drake drops him, grinning.
Drake Armstrong: (off-mic) Impressed now, are you?
Jake Mercer: Drake is mouthing off to Minerva, who shakes her head in disgust. He enters the ring and rolls out to break the count. Brian is still down, holding at his shin. Drake walks over and drags him up, showing his face to Minerva! Minerva blows Drake off, and he forearms Brian! Brian chops Drake back, but he crumbles right back down to the ground! Drake looks at him and laughs.
Stew-O: He pulls him up, but NOW BRIAN FIGHTS BACK! MORE SHOTS TO THE HEAD! Both men going back and forth, brawling! Drake knees him in the ribs and turns him! He swings for a punch to the jaw! BUT BRIAN DUCKS UNDER!
Flannery McCoy: AND DOWN GOES HANS GRAYSON! DRAKE ARMSTRONG NAILED HANS IN THE JAW! BUT DRAKE DOESN’T SEEM TO CARE!
Jake Mercer: Why would he?! Hans just fell into Minerva! And Minerva knows exactly why, pissed off! She runs over and STARTS THROWING HANDS AT DRAKE! HERE WE GO! THE REF CALLS THIS OFF! ALL HELL HAS BROKE LOOSE!
(DING DING DING!)
(The fans are caught off guard by the ending of the match at first, but they begin cheering once they realize Minerva is beating the hell out of Drake Armstrong!)
Stew-O: THE BRAWL CONTINUES! Drake throws more shots at Minerva! The two are fighting all over ringside! Minerva tackles Drake down! And she’s throwing punches at the head! Drake covers up, he’s being battered right now!
Jake Mercer: Meanwhile, Hans Grayson is pissed at Brian Daniels for making him eat that punch! The two are bickering back and forth because of it! Brian is trying to defend himself, but Hans is losing his cool!
Brian Daniels: (off-mic) What am I supposed to do man, sit there and get hit?!
Hans Grayson: (off-mic) You think that I wanted to get hit?!
Flannery McCoy: A shove from Hans! And now a shove from Daniels! Both men are about to throw hands! But security runs over, bringing them away from each other! Both are screaming and yelling at each other! Here comes security to keep them away! That was so close, they were about to throw hands!
Stew-O: We have to look back over! Minerva throws Drake into the ring! She follows him up and forearms him! She takes Drake by the hair, but an EYE RAKE FROM ARMSTRONG! Minerva falls back, holding her eyes in pain! He scoops her up! ‘DEATH PENALTY!’ THE GOTCH STYLE TOMBSTONE KNOCKS MINERVA OUT!
Jake Mercer: Exactly what Drake needed! Minerva is down and out and Drake looks down at her, spitting! Completely disrespectful! He dusts his hands off, turning and leaving the ring as security comes to collect you! This is an absolute mess!
(As security tries their best to ward off the three, Minerva is laid out, holding at her head in agony. She winces, looking around and trying to figure out what happened.)
(The scene fades to backstage where Fire & Ice – Rex McAllister and Raven Roberts are talking backstage in the locker room. The crowd in the SSE Arena is heard popping for these two. The two of them are standing across from each other, only separated by a length of an arm. We see Rex talking as Raven nods with her arms folded across her chest. The audio begins to pick up their voices.)
Raven Roberts: Rex, I know that you’d probably say that I don’t need to do this, but I need to get this out in the open. I’m sorry about not being at my A-game last week –
Rex McAllister: Hey, hey, hey. You don’t need to do that.
(Rex McAllister doesn’t sound mad or upset. He has a calm demenour as he holds onto Raven Roberts’ hands and gives them a kiss. He still holds them for support as he continues with his point. Fire & Ice look at each other’s eyes.)
Rex McAllister: We all lose and have off nights. It is what it is. There have been instances where I have had my off nights and you have had to carry me during our matches. I’m always thankful for those moments. The instances where I have tried my best to get myself into the match and it just wasn’t happening. Or in the case of last week, a miscalculation throws everything off and your husband ends up eating one of those brutal ‘Talons.’
(Rex McAllister chuckles, almost trying to find humor in the situation. No personal malice or anger for what Raven did. Mistakes happen and he knows that Raven would never intentionally hurt him. Even throughout all of that, Rex tries to find some humor in all of this, but Raven Roberts doesn’t see it. If anything, she feels slight embarrassment. Most of the time, her aim was good. If there comes an instance of someone moving out of the way, she has been able to stop herself and prevent the move from being executed. Last week, Rex found himself on the receiving end of one of those moves.)
Rex McAllister: The point that I’m trying to make is that we all make mistakes. We all have experienced losses and have had off nights. Even those high and mighty have. Last week happened. We can’t do anything to change the result. We can’t change the past. We gotta focus on now. We got a lot to look forward to as we get towards the end of the season and with Pain for Pride being so close. But, for now, we need to focus on Grand Rampage.
(Raven Roberts seems like it’s not going to be easy to let things go. It’s still weighing on her mind a bit. She is one of her biggest critics. When she does something wrong, she doesn’t feel good. She will continue to work on it until she has it perfect. She prides in being one of the hardest working Elitists in this company. Someone who is the first to arrive in the arena and the last to leave. Someone who will do late night training sessions, so that she feels good for the upcoming match. Rex McAllister knows how hard Raven works and when she has her mind set on something, it’s difficult to knock her off her mindset.)
Raven Roberts: Yeah, but still, I don’t like to make mistakes like that. I don’t like having ‘off nights.’
Rex McAllister: No one does, Raven. I don’t either. You’ve been by my side when I’ve gone through a few of them and helped me through all of that when I needed the help. But, what we need to do is take everything that happened last week and leave it in the rear view. Grand Rampage is around the corner and what happened last week doesn’t have any bearings on us not winning the match. All that matters is that we go out there come Grand Rampage weekend and win. Let’s not lose focus on that goal. This is our way to end the season as champions and we can’t lose sight of that.
(Raven Roberts begins to loosen up. She is slowly processing Rex McAllister’s words and allowing her mind to reshift their focus back at Grand Rampage. He always had a way with words. His ability to bring things into perspective and help her focus is one of his best traits. Her arms were folded across her chest, but she began to calm down a bit to unfold them and nod at her husband.)
Raven Roberts: You’re right. We need to focus on winning Grand Rampage.
Rex McAllister: That’s the spirit there. Now, how about I get you a drink, so that we can relax for the rest of the night?
(Raven Roberts forms a smile on her face.)
Raven Roberts: That would be great.
Rex McAllister: Awesome. I’ll be right back.
(Rex McAllister and Raven Roberts do a quick kiss before Rex exits the gender neutral locker room. But, he doesn’t seem to make it far as he stops in his tracks. He forms an icy stare as he looks across…. ‘The OK’ Drake King.)
Drake King: Hi, Rex! It’s nice to see you! I just wanted to say that last week was truly a learning experience with being in the ring with a highly decorated veteran like you!
Rex McAllister: Drake, cut the act, please. We all know that you’re nothing more than a chameleon, who has always changed its colors to blend with their surroundings.
Drake King: Look, I’m sorry that you and Raven took the loss against Cy and I last week quite hard. I know that it’s never easy to lose to a newcomer. 🙂↕️
Rex McAllister: :skip:
Drake King: Is there something wrong with your face? Maybe, you ought to get it checked. Anywho, I’m glad that I was able to see you because I’ve been thinking a lot about things and with the conversation with Cy Henderson earlier tonight, I decided that it may be best for me to pull out of Grand Rampage.
(There’s a wave of shock heard in the SSE Arena. Drake King is a former Grand Rampage winner. When he declared himself for the match, he became an automatic favorite to win. Despite whether ‘The OK’ thinks so or not. Rex McAllister is almost shocked. Almost like he’s thinking that Drake is playing some early April Fools Day joke on him.)
Rex McAllister: I’m sorry. I’m not sure if I’m hearing that right, but you’re PULLING OUT of Grand Rampage?
Drake King: Maybe, you ought to get your ears checked. I know that getting older will cause people to lose their hearing a bit. :lupe: But, you heard correctly, I am pulling out of Grand Rampage.
Rex McAllister: Why are you deciding to do that? There’s a huge opportunity on the line, if you win the match.
Drake King: Between you and me, Rex – I don’t feel ready for a match of this calliber with where I’m at currently. So, here…
(Drake King pulls out the red ball that he pulled out from the raffle drum box last week. Rex McAllister looks down at the ball, not believing that Drake would give him that in a million billion years. Drake is known to be manipulative. He is willing to do whatever it takes to get what he wants, so to see Drake doing something selfless is completely out of character and Rex seems more than cautious to accept the ball.)
Rex McAllister: You want me to have your number?
Drake King: You are one of the hardest working Elitists in the locker room, Rex. I can’t imagine anyone else who deserves this.
(Drake King has the ball extended to Rex McAllister. Drake gives it a little shake, almost like he’s trying to tempt Rex with it. After much thought, Rex accepts the ball as he looks down at it. Drake is looking at Rex, hoping that he still isn’t upset about the tag team match last week. He hoped that giving Rex his number took some of the sting of the loss away.)
Drake King: So…are we ok? 👍
(Rex McAllister breathes internally. ‘The OK’ stuff annoyed him a bit, but Drake King did at least give him his number, so he can’t be too mad at Drake. At least, when he’s like this.)
Rex McAllister: Yeah, sure, we’re OK.
Drake King: :blessed: OK!
(Drake King leaves Rex McAllister alone with his Grand Rampage number. He cracks open the red lottery ball and pulls out the stand of paper which holds his number. The number is not revealed to the camera and Rex is smart enough not to say it out loud. But, judging by the smile on Rex’s face, he’s clearly pleased with it.)
Rex McAllister: OK.
(Rex McAllister places the strand of paper back inside the ball before placing it back in his pocket before continuing his walk down the hallway to get drinks for him and Raven.)
(The scene fades from there, and the shot returns back to ringside for the final match of the evening.)
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following main event contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Mayoi Uta [Song of the Lost Star]’ by MyGO!!! can be heard throughout the speakers as Jay Jerry Johnson emerges from the back with the Interwire Championship around his waist. The audience responds loudly to his arrival as he gives the nod, focused on the match ahead as he heads down the ramp from there.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! From Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 223 pounds… THE INTERWIRE CHAMPION, JAY JERRYYYYYYYYYY JOHNSON!!!
Stew-O: And now Jay Jerry Johnson is looking to garner the momentum needed that he was able to garner from Operation: Doomsday after successfully defending his Interwire Championship against Clayton Golde, which was halted by a stolen defeat to Chris Elite.
Jake Mercer: He’s got his work cut out for him tonight as his opponent will be looking to make some even greater good on a victory against a fellow champion, so this match will certainly determine who is able to bring momentum on their side!
(‘2024’ by Playboi Carti can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as the audience immediately roars with adoration & applause. Joso emerges from the back with confidence oozing from his presence, the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist & well prepared as he gazes upon the ring ahead to the ring while walking down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Introducing his opponent! From Bronx, New York, weighing in at 206 pounds…. THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION… JOOOOOOOOOOOOOSOOOOO!!!
Stew-O: Joso has been able to surmount as much of the opposition as he could so far, as he’s looking to take down the Interwire Champion in this upcoming battle! The pressure is certainly on, but Joso will certainly face this pressure in full as he has throughout his reign!
Flannery McCoy: Of course, this will be a difficult task to accomplish when he has a match against one of the most battle tested elitists in Dynasty! But he looks to prove without a shadow of a doubt how he is representing this New Era as the reigning World Heavyweight Champion nonetheless!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And we’re off! The main event of Dynasty is kicking off as two champions right here on this brand are colliding tonight! The World Heavyweight Champion taking on the Interwire Champion, with Joso & Jay Jerry Johnson being able to shift themselves along the ring as they pace around, keeping about as much focus as they can here with Grand Rampage looming ahead in just a matter of weeks now! Joso & Jay both are looking to garner all of the momentum that they can, which is not easily established when they are each being placed in a respectively tough match here that can prove to be a proper challenge for either man!
Flannery McCoy: As Joso & Jay are now moving in and engaging in a brief collar and elbow tie-up to start this match!! They’re each trying to push the other into their own sides where the ropes are situated, and it seems that Joso is able to do so as he’s shoving Jay Jerry Johnson into the ropes without all too much avail to be left! The referee counts down now as Joso has to eventually let go, with Jay keeping his own hands raised and nodding to the referee while the World Champion is backing off. There is certainly a measure of respect that can be seen among both men as they continue to pace around the ring!
Jake Mercer: As Joso is now aiming to move forward and step into this—but Jay immediately drops down and takes Joso down with his hand on his leg, now torquing the leg of Joso back to swoop in & initiate an easy headlock takedown! Jay is showcasing his own prowess as a wrestler who can emphasize all of the focus down onto the mat itself! Joso is being kept down on the canvas as the Interwire Champion is ensuring that there is plenty of room for his own work to be done in an effective manner against the World Champ!
Flannery McCoy: But Joso is not one that’s going to back down so easily, as he’s looking to find his way out of this headlock takedown—as he’s slipping his own hand through the arm wrapped around his neck to create much needed space! Then grabbing onto Jay’s wrist and yanking him away—TO GET HIS OWN ARM AROUND HIS NECK! Joso has got a headlock takeover of his own to maintain here as now Jay is left in a bad spot from here! Johnson’s got a hand clutched around the arm of Joso to prevent any tightening grip to be applied by his opponent, but this can end up going the wrong path here if he is unable to get himself out of this!
Stew-O: As Jay is able to shift his own bodyweight forward and press Joso against the canvas, freeing himself away from the headlock to keep a knee placed over the lower back of Joso—TO APPLY A CHIN LOCK WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT!! Immense ground work from Jay as he is able to keep Joso suppressed against the mat while getting himself out of the headlock as well, while also leaving a foot over the hand of Joso to keep him from making further movements for the time being! The World Heavyweight Champion is in a very bad spot right now as Jay has this control to maintain as the match continues!
Flannery McCoy: Joso is refusing to give in however, as this is absolutely going to need far more in order to put down the World Heavyweight Champion of EAW! Jay has been able to keep this chin lock applied—BUT JOSO IS ABLE TO SHIFT WEIGHT AROUND & SEND AN OPEN PALM CHOP OVER THE CHEST OF JAY JERRY JOHNSON! Jay is nailed with that chop as this causes the Interwire Champion to be sent moving backward against the corner, with Joso soon following along as he rushes toward him!
Jake Mercer: AS THE LEAPING FOREARM KEEPS JAY JERRY JOHNSON AT BAY! And now Joso is keeping himself situated in the corner directly with Jay, as he doesn’t relent back from letting another KNIFE EDGE CHOP sound off across the chest of Johnson! Jay is feeling every single bit of that chop as Joso is nodding to himself, getting into this rhythm with the match as he has no problem sending yet ANOTHER chop sprawling across the chest of Jay! And that doesn’t seem to be stopping Joso at all from going out of his way to send a THIRD CHOP!! The referee has been counting down on Joso!
Stew-O: ‘Till Joso finds himself backing away briefly as he would give the slight nod to the referee, before reverting much of his attention back on Jay Jerry Johnson as he’s now rushing toward him to AIM FOR ANOTHER FOREARM—BUT JAY DROPS DOWN & SENDS A LOW DROPKICK THAT CAUSES JOSO TO COLLAPSE INTO THE TURNBUCKLE! FACE FIRST!! Very quick thinking from the Interwire Champion as Joso is now clutching his own face, shaking his head vigorously as it seems he may have lost the control that was just able to maintain!
Flannery McCoy: As Joso is staggered while trying to keep himself remaining on his feet, while Jay is returning to his own stance here with Joso unable to focus back on his opponent.. ALLOWING JAY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE WITH DROPPING JOSO DOWN TO BEING FLAT ON HIS BACK, BEFORE REACHING HIS LEGS AROUND & TURNING OVER TO LOCK IN THE SHARPSHOOTER! Joso is locked within the sharpshooter as Jay is keeping this submission held for about as long as he will possibly need to! Joso is shaking his head repeatedly as he’s refusing to allow himself to tap out or submit in any measure right now!
Stew-O: Joso is making that crawl that he needs to commit all of his energy toward if he wants to initiate the rope break that can bring him one step closer to coming back in this match! Jay is keeping this submission applied for about as long as he can muster with the constraints that are weighing on him in the form of Joso trying to fight his way through this by aiming for the ropes! He is itching all the more closely for the ropes here after dragging not just his own body weight, but Jay’s weight as well!
Flannery McCoy: As Jay is now trying to drag him away from the ropes! He’s dragging him along which allows Joso is be freed up just enough from the submission and shift himself around & cause Jay to let go—AS JOSO IS SENDING A SWIFT BOOT AGAINST THE TEMPLE OF JAY, FORCING HIM TO LET GO! Jay has to back away and let go of Joso as he’s trying to shake off the boot that was just nailed across his temple! With Joso bringing himself back up, Jay looks to send him back down as he’s AIMING FOR THE PUMP KICK—
Jake Mercer: JOSO DUCKS UNDER! Jay is unable to make the pump kick happen as he’s now turning himself bad around and toward Joso—BUT HE’S CAUGHT BY A PELE KICK!!! Jay is dazed by the pele kick from Joso as the World Heavyweight Champ’ is now back on the rise! He’s able to get back up and with Jay currently staggered, he grabs his wrist before YANKING FORWARD WITH A SUDDEN BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE THAT SENDS JAY DOWN! Joso is now hooking the legs as the referee is counting away from there!
ONEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOO!!!

Stew-O: NOT QUITE ENOUGH! THE KICKOUT FROM JAY JERRY JOHNSON! And Joso doesn’t seem to be all too keen on lingering too far from the control that he has just gained again as he’s getting his arm trapped around his own legs—TO APPLY THE CROSSFACE SUBMISSION! Joso has applied the crossface submission as now Jay is struggling quite the great deal to get himself out of this submission ight here! But Jay is doing all that he can is he is trying to crawl for as much as he’s able to!
Flannery McCoy: But the Interwire Champion is making the movement happen no matter how much Joso is able to lock this crossface in tightly! Jay is crawling despite the pressure as Joso is now growing wide eyed, shaking his own head as Jay is making all of this time count by reaching toward the ropes—‘TILL JAY IS ABLE TO SHIFT JOSO AWAY AND CAUSE HIM TO ROLL AWAY FROM HIMSELF! Johnson with immense quick thinking that brings him all of the leeway he needs from here!
Jake Mercer: ‘Till Joso is returning back up to his feet and looking take advantage of the moment while he’s able and to get it, rushing back toward Jay Jerry Johnson while he’s still only rising to a knee as Joso SEEKS OUT THE PRESSURE WITH A SPINNING HEEL KICK—BUT JAY JERRY JOHNSON DUCKS UNDER THE HEEL KICK—TO SEND A SUDDEN LARIAT SPRAWLING ACROSS THE WORLD CHAMP TO TURN HIM INSIDE OUT!! Joso is dropped with authority there as Jay is now rushing himself back over, hooking the leg for the referee to count away!

Stew-O: NOT ENOUGH! JOSO IS ABLE TO KICK OUT AS THIS MAIN EVENT CONTINUES! Jay nods to himself as he’s seeing the effects of this match begin to wear itself on him, and he sits himself upward behind Joso as he’s got a hold of his head! AS HE BEGINS TO RAIN DOWN REPEATED ELBOW STRIKES OVER THE UPPER CHEST OF JOSO! Each elbow that’s becoming more impactful than the previous elbow, Joso is unable to retort as Jay has been able to keep Joso from moving out of this vicarious position!
Flannery McCoy: AS HE SOON TRANSITIONS DIRECTLY INTO A REAR NAKED CHOKE!! The rear naked choke is applied by Jay Jerry Johnson as Joso is now struggling all the more considerably here after the elbows that Jay was able to rain down upon his opponent tonight! Joso is reaching around, but this proving to be a far more difficult endeavor to approach than he must’ve been thinking it would really be! Jay has this locked in tightly as the World Heavyweight Champion is truly in a struggle!
Jake Mercer: With Jay doing everything that he can to make sure there is no viable room for Joso to move himself around, this can really end bad for the World Champ’ if he can’t find his wherewithal to bring himself out of this—AS JOSO’S ABLE TO ROLL HIS OWN BODYWEIGHT FORWARD AND CAUSE JAY TO ROLL OVER JOSO & ONTO THE MAT! Forced to let go of the submission as Joso remains on his knees.. ‘CAUSING JAY TO RUSH FORWARD WITH A RUNNING SOCCER KICK—
Stew-O: BUT JOSO CATCHES JAY WITH A SUCCESSFUL SPINNING BACK HEEL KICK TO CATCH JAY OFF GUARD!!! The heel kick is enough to take Jay down to the canvas as Joso is now quickly moving himself over to the Interwire Champion, hooking the leg as the referee is able to count away! This can do it right here!

Flannery McCoy: NOT ENOUGH! JAY IS STILL IN THIS MATCH! Joso now grabs a hold of Jay’s wrist as he’s standing himself back up, shaking his own head as he’s got to do much more to put Jay down! He sends an EMPHATIC BOOT across Jay’s temple to keep him at bay! There’s no slowing down at all here as he’s able to send ANOTHER BOOT TO KEEP JAY FROM MOUNTING OFFENSE! Not much longer now before Joso is able to pull Jay toward himself & AIM FOR A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT—
Stew-O: BUT JAY CAUGHT HIS ARM—AND IMMEDIATELY SHIFTS JOSO INTO A SUDDEN DRAGON SUPLEX THAT SENDS JOSO CRASHING ONTO THE BACK OF HIS OWN NECK!!! Jay is able to take his opponent down after an incredible counter as he’s now crawling himself over to Joso, not a moment wasted in hooking that leg as he looks to close out this match for good!

Flannery McCoy: BUT IT IS STILL NOT ENOUGH TO TAKE CARE OF JOSO! Jay is sitting himself up, understanding that this is become a very crucial moment in the match where he needs to understand how much more there is to defeat when it comes to Joso! Jay is bringing himself up into a stance, grabbing a hold of Joso’s wrist as he’s now looking to maintain this control as he’s now kicking DOWN INTO THE TEMPLE OF JOSO! Joso’s being suppressed very much so with all of the strife he’s been dealt as ANOTHER BOOT TO THE TEMPLE follows as well! Jay then proceeds yank Joso upward & INTO THE ‘PRETTY VISITOR’—
Jake Mercer: BUT JOSO CAUGHT HIM WITH A BACKSTABBER TO HALT THE CUTTER FROM EVER GOING THROUGH!! Jay is now clutching onto his own back here as Joso is weathering the storm, the World Heavyweight Champion refuses to slow himself down while Jay is trying to keep himself up despite all that this man has been placed through on his own end! Joso is now returning back over to Jay, dragging him over to the middle of the ring as he seems to understand exactly what he needs to aim for!
Stew-O: As Joso is placing Jay into position, before being able to hoist him upward as there no other realm of reversal for Jay to undergo with how stunned he is—AS ‘CRIMSON PEAK’ CONNECTS!! THE STYLES CLASH ONTO THE CANVAS! Joso turns himself and Jay over so he can maintain the pin with Jay’s shoulders being down! This can spell disaster for Jay right here!

Flannery McCoy: NO! NOT ENOUGH! Jay is still in this match as Joso is now bringing himself back up, looking to put an end to this match as now dragging Jay back over and into position as well, looking to send the statement loud & clear right here through the ‘HEAVEN’S GATE’ TO PUT JAY JERRY JOHNSON AWAY—
Jake Mercer: BUT JAY FREES HIMSELF & SWIFTLY NAILS THE ‘SPRECHOR CROSSLINE’ TO PUT JOSO BACK DOWN!!! Jay is rushing himself over the cover in the same vein as the referee slides himself back to the count right here!

Stew-O: NOT ENOUGH! BUT NOW JAY IS LOOKING TO PLACE JOSO IN POSITION RATHER QUICKLY HERE! TRYING TO BRING THIS MATCH TO AN EMPHATIC END AS HE’S TRYING TO APPLY THE ‘JERRY SPECIAL ‘99’!!!
Flannery McCoy: BUT JOSO SQUIRMS FREE AND SENDS A FOREARM FROM BEHIND THAT SENDS JAY IN FRONT OF THE REFEREE! Joso backs himself away as he’s now looking to take advantage with Jay’s back turned—
(BAM!!!!)
Jake Mercer: CY HENDERSON WITH BRASS KNUCKLES TO THE BACK OF JOSO’S SKULL!! JOSO IS STAGGERING FORWARD INTO JAY AS THE REFEREE DIDN’T SEE CY NAIL JOSO—

Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… INTERWIRE CHAMPION JAY JERRYYYYYYYYYYYY JOHNSON!!!
Jake Mercer: HOLY COW! JAY JERRY JOHNSON HAS PINNED THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!! Joso is on the end of defeat tonight in the main event of Dynasty!
Flannery McCoy: But Cy caused this defeat to occur as he bashed Joso’s head with the brass knuckles as the referee didn’t see it happen! Cy Henderson has come out to ruin Joso’s match tonight!
Stew-O: Which cannot be denied by any means, but the Interwire Champion is able to take advantage of the moment despite being unaware of what occurred. Congratulations to Jay Jerry Johnson, and thank you for tuning in to Dynasty! See you next week!
(‘Mayoi aura’ can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as Jay’s hand is soon raised by the referee as he rises back up, clutching his own lower back. Cy stood at the ramp with a smirk on his face as Joso’s clutching his own head while the referee tended to him, visibly disgruntled as the scene closes.)
