(EAW intro plays…)
(Friday Night Dynasty intro plays. A recap of Operation: Doomsday is shown off, showcasing the pivotal moments that took place at the marquee event.)
(Afterward, the broadcast feed captures the Coliseo Amauta in Lima, Peru in all of its glory. The fans’ excitement is palpable as various camera shots show them off alongside the pyrotechnics lighting up the stage. As the introductory theatrics wrap up, the camera heads off to the commentary station, where Stew-O, Jake Mercer and Flannery McCoy are present and accounted for.)
Stew-O: Ladies and gentlemen, good evening, and welcome to yet another episode of FRIDAY NIGHT DYNASTY! Operation: Doomsday has wrapped up, and that means that we are OFFICIALLY on the road towards Pain for Pride! Once Voltage and Showdown’s respective brand-exclusive shows in Shock Value and Reasonable Doubt occur, we will be barreling straight toward Grand Rampage, and with that, the end of the season!
Jake Mercer: I know we say it all the time, but seriously: where on Earth did the time go!? We’re only three months away from season 19 ending!? I can’t believe it!
Flannery McCoy: Well, people often say that time goes by quickly in EAW. For some Elitists, they may feel relief while others may begin to act with more urgency to accomplish the goals they set forth for themselves when this season first started. Grand Rampage is always a critical show for them as some of them can book their ticket toward Pain for Pride beforehand and not have to deal with the stress that often comes with the final stretch.
Stew-O: That is true, especially for those seeking a world championship—and at Operation: Doomsday, we’ve seen not one but TWO Iron Survivors crowned! An unprecedented moment for sure!
(On that note, the shot switches to a recap of the final moments in the hotly contested Iron Survivor match: it looked like Drake King got the job done until the referees noticed Cy Henderson also going for a pin. Both men had gotten the fall registered, and Tyrone Montgomery decides to christen them as dual Iron-Survivor winners.)
(With the recap ending—)
(KNOCKKNOCKKNOCK!)
???: Are you in there? Open up!
(The shot transitions backstage, where Drake King is by the general manager’s office, knocking on the door several times. He takes a step back, still frustrated with the outcome of everything.)
(Eventually, the door cracks open—and Tyrone Montgomery makes his presence known.)
Tyrone Montgomery: Well, good evening to you too, Drake.
Drake King: No, don’t start any of the jokes. Are you–are you serious? About last week?
(Tyrone blinks, eyes narrowing slightly as he picks up on the tone in his voice.)
Tyrone Montgomery: Considering this is my brand and I get the final say in the decisions: yes, Drake, I am serious. You and Cy Henderson are the two Iron Survivors.
Drake King: TWO Iron Survivors?! This brand is a JOKE! This is HERESAY! I had that pin for myself, I should be the one with that victory solely attached to me! But of course, no one here can ever allow for me to—
Tyrone Montgomery: Yeah, no, I’m not going to hear this, Drake. Let’s not with the conspiracy chatter all over again—
Drake King: Then what is it, Mr. Montgomery? Huh? Because I have spent the last year on this brand with little to show for it, and so many contrived, unnecessary detours that have only continued to impede me when I simply want to move forward! So many people here can get title matches with little effort involved, but when it comes to me? No, there’s always something. Some kind of caveat, an exception—
Tyrone Montgomery: Don’t cut me off again.
(And that gets Drake to stop his rant. It doesn’t mean he’s calmed down, though. His own eyes slit together, frustration only continuing to brew underneath the surface. Tyrone knows he’s mad, but he isn’t going to budge in his stance or decision—and he makes that known to Drake to his face as he speaks.)
Tyrone Montgomery: Honestly, Drake, this is tiring from you. The yelling, the ranting, the raving. Sometimes I have to remind myself that you are, in fact, a hall of famer and one of the greatest talents in this promotion because you come across as a child upset that they’re met with a little resistance.
(That makes Drake’s eyes widen in offense.)
Drake King: A… a child? Is that what you see me as?
(Tyrone shrugs.)
Tyrone Montgomery: I see you as immature. You got a win in Iron Survivor. You have your opportunity for the World Heavyweight Championship match in the back pocket. In fact, you can have the match at Grand Rampage against Cy and Michael—
Drake King: No! I will NOT have the match at Grand Rampage!
(Tyrone eyes him up and down.)
Tyrone Montgomery: Lower your voice.
Drake King: I won’t, actually! You don’t get it! No one does! I—
???: Really? Are you going to waste the rest of tonight screaming at the top of your lungs like a toddler?
(Things went from bad to worse from Drake’s perspective. Whirling his head, he spots Cy Henderson approaching. His scowl deepens.)
Drake King: Oh, no you don’t. Don’t come any closer.
(Cy gives him a look as if to say, ‘are you serious?’ Then, he gets closer, defying him.)
Cy Henderson: I’m well within my right to come and see what would cause a person to scream and cry like a little bitch. It truly is hilarious to me that this is the route you’re trying to take with all of this, Drake. Don’t get me wrong, I would’ve liked to claim Iron Survivor for myself, but a win is a win—and being a two-time winner of the match is a nice notch that I can appreciate. Meanwhile, you’re looking at this as a glass half-empty situation, and that is why you are in the state that you are in.
Drake King: Really? So what, Cy, you know so much over me? You think you’re in the right because you’re content with accepting the bare minimum for yourself? You haven’t gone through nearly the same things that I have had since you came back, so I suggest that you don’t come here and speak as if you can make me come across as crazy.
Cy Henderson: You’re right: I won’t because you already do all of the work for yourself!
Drake King: Oh, silence! That is not what I meant!
Cy Henderson: I won’t be silent, actually—especially when you’re this heated. You know, for a man who began to spiral after that triple threat at Pain for Pride last year, I thought you would’ve been salivating at this. After all, this is your chance to redeem yourself for letting your own blind hatred in that moment get the better of you.
(Drake’s rigid expression softens slightly, and it’s clear Cy’s words hit a chord.)
Cy Henderson: I mean, if I were in your shoes, I would be all the more eager to come around and try to fuck me up. The story could be rewritten in your favor… But instead of taking the pen for yourself, you’d rather cry about the ink that hasn’t even dried yet. You are an unstable mess hiding behind the guise of being a god, and it’s tiring, Drake. Embarrassing, really.
Drake King: … you don’t get to talk to me like that.
(And Drake takes a step forward, narrowing his eyes.)
Drake King: You and no one else. The only thing that’s embarrassing is you, because if it wasn’t for that hail mary, you would be forced to leap into Grand Rampage and hope you can string together a comeback run.
Cy Henderson: Well, it’s a match I’ve won before—just like you have. Yet another thing we can share together.
(Cy cracks a smirk, and that only irritates Drake further.)
Drake King: We don’t share anything, Cy. I’m better. And I will prove it to you soon enough…
(Drake then storms off, unable to stand around for any longer. Cy scoffs, rolling his eyes and shaking his head.)
Cy Henderson: Yeah, keep making those idle threats, Drake. Continue to show how weak you really are.
(Cy’s gaze then lands on Tyrone.)
Cy Henderson: Sorry. Bet it was annoying having to hear that jackass rumble.
Tyrone Montgomery: Eh, I’ve been doing this for a few years now. Not the first, and probably not the worst.
(Cy nods at the small quip before he heads off in his own right. Tyrone continues to stand in the doorway, thinking of something.)
Tyrone Montgomery: … hm. No match for the world title then for those two next marquee, it seems. Way too hostile of a situation.
(But Tyrone thinks up of something, and a small smile forms. He closes the door shut, and from there, the shot fades in on the ringside area.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time, the NEEEWWW EAW INTERWIRE CHAMPION—
???: No, no, no! No! That will not do!
(A familiar voice booms out—belonging to none other than one Ahren Fournier, with Jennipurr in his arms. He scowls with disgust as he has his own microphone. With a hand, he flicks it, as if telling Stephie Love to shoo.)
Ahren Fournier: Your presence is not needed here, so you may scram! The new champion does not need such a mediocre voice to announce her accomplishment!
(Some fans boo, and Stephie herself looks appalled. However, she leaves the ring. Ahren smiles, satisfied.)
Ahren Fournier: There we go. Now that that’s out of the way—ahem…
Ahren Fournier: Ladies and gentlemen, UNW Universe, and all of the honorifics they give to you sorry excuses for fans! You should rise up on your swollen, fat ankles and rain down praise to the GOATest protégé of all proteges! The NEW EAW Interwire Champion: EFFY MCAVOY! Yes! Come on out! :goat: !!
(‘Psycho’ by That’s Outrageous! hits, and an enthusiastic Effy McAvoy arrives, the EAW Interwire Championship on her shoulder. She rushes toward Ahren, ready to give him a tight hug—)
Ahren Fournier: :whoa: !! Hang on my dear, you’d crush Jennipurr!
Jennipurr: Meow. :roman:
Effy McAvoy: R-right, sorry! 😅
(She eases down and manages to give the two a gentle hug. After peeling herself away, Effy joins Ahren’s side and they head down the ramp to the ring.)
Stew-O: Effy McAvoy defeated BRAE yet again for another championship, this time winning the EAW Interwire title from him after he held the fort down since Pain for Pride last year. Of course, one has to wonder what’s next for him, but Effy was able to garner her second championship in her young career, and she continues to show to people she can get the job done–even if what happened last weekend did cause a stir.
Jake Mercer: Yeah, Ahren may or may not have put his hands on BRAE, but listen—it’s wrestling, okay? It is what it is! Besides, if there was anyone that was going to beat him, it was gonna be Effy. They have been yin and yang for the longest.
Flannery McCoy: That is true. Even if some may not have liked how that finish went down, there’s no questioning Effy as a champion here. She was able to showcase her promise when she held the New Breed championship, and she can create a legacy of her own with the Interwire title now in her possession. She no doubts aims to aspire to be like Ahren as well as this was a title he held in his career as well.
(In the ring they stood, and Effy’s smile continues to beam. Ahren hands her her own microphone, and as her theme fades, the new champion speaks.)
Effy McAvoy: Ahaha… this, this is amazing for me. It truly is. All I wanted was to win not only to prove myself but to prove to Ahren I was always meant to be his disciple. This season didn’t start out easy for me, as I had my losses, my disappointments, and I felt like I was in a rut. However, last weekend, it all finally paid off for me! I beat BRAE! I get to be the Interwire Champion! I get to be a champion AGAIN, and it feels incredible!
Effy McAvoy: Even with the doubts, the questions and some frustration, I was able to push through. Honestly, if I didn’t have Ahren guiding me every step of the way, I feel as if I would’ve crashed a lot sooner. It hurt my heart whenever I had a big match and walked back to him without the win. He knows me better than anyone else; he knows I can be so, so, so much more and live up to every single expectation he has. I am just glad I was able to show him yet again that I can be just as amazing as him—and I will continue to do him proud.
(She glances at Ahren, who returns the gesture with a nod, affirming her words. Effy’s smile widens.)
Effy McAvoy: And I want to be the best! I mean it! I could be content with everything and just wait for the defenses to come in now—but, that wouldn’t help me, would it? No. I don’t want to be passive. Ahren has taught me that in order to create a name for yourself you have to put your name out there, and that’s what I plan on doing. Winning my first title here almost two years ago, it gave the world a taste, but that isn’t enough. I know that BRAE was a fighting champion, so he’s left behind some big shoes to fill. Yet, that doesn’t make me timid. I don’t have to compare myself to anyone–well, unless they’re Ahren, of course.
Effy McAvoy: … but, I have to focus on me. What I want. What I want to showcase. I’m not going to be here and try to essentially be a repeat of anyone who’s held this before me. I want for people to see me, Effy, for who I am: and that is why I am putting the call out there for anyone who wants to face me to come out RIGHT NOW and say so!
(The fans are taken aback by the gusto shown. Even Ahren is pleasantly surprised.)
Stew-O: Wait, it looks like Effy isn’t going to linger when it comes to challengers! She’s putting the call out there!
(She turns to the stage, looking out.)
Effy McAvoy: And I mean it. I’m not the conflicted and lost woman I used to be anymore. I know who I am and what I can do against the very best EAW has to offer. So, if you want to try and take this title away from me…
(That’s when her smile becomes a bit more crooked, gaze falling to the championship. Her hold on it tightens.)
Effy McAvoy: Well, it’s not going to happen… but you’re more than welcomed to try and see if you can come close to holding it at all.
(Silence falls across the arena for a moment.)
(…)
(‘Cassie’ by Flyleaf hits. The fans cheer as Winona Hendrickson comes out, already with a mic in her grasp.)
Jake Mercer: Whoa! Looks like Wonder Woman herself is going to take Effy up on that, having a win underneath her own belt from Operation: Doomsday!
(Winona enters the ring, looking at Effy before glancing at Ahren. Her theme fades, and after taking the moment to look at the champion, she speaks.)
Winona Hendrickson: So, you’re a fighting champion, Effy? I guess it wouldn’t hurt to see if you really are capable of being that…
(But her voice trails—and her glance lands back on Ahren.)
Winona Hendrickson: …because after what I along with other people saw? It seems like the only way you can ever break from your own misfortunes is when someone is there to help you out.
(Effy’s eyes narrow.)
Effy McAvoy: What? Are you saying I needed Ahren to become a champion?
(Winona smirks.)
Winona Hendrickson: Is that how it happened, Effy? We all saw for ourselves how Ahren got involved toward the tail end. No doubt in my mind that if he didn’t do that, BRAE would still be the one with the title, not you—and it would’ve been far more honorable to see him continue to elevate the division over you.
(Effy blinks a few times, anger rising. However, before she can snap back, Ahren steps in between them, not at all happy with Winona.)
Ahren Fournier: Alright you LOSER, how dare you talk to the future GOATed Interwire Champion like that!? Who even are YOU?
Winona Hendrickson: Me? Well, I’m no one special, I’ll admit. I just started wrestling here not too long ago. However, what I am is a woman with a lot of integrity and honesty behind everything I say and do. I have plans of my own to light the world of wrestling up, but I’m not going to do that by relying on cheap tactics or, in this case, cheap men who enjoying wearing their cheap fur coats.
Crowd: OOOOOOOOOOOHHHH!
(Ahren gasps, appalled.)
Ahren Fournier: I’ll have you know this coat costs more than whatever bonus you made last weekend! But with that mouth, you certainly won’t have any more given to you! The nerve!
(Effy steps back in, glaring at Winona.)
Effy McAvoy: I suggest you watch your mouth, whether it involves Ahren or me.
(That gets Winona to redirect her focus on the champion.)
Winona Hendrickson: Oh, struck a nerve? Sorry, Effy. Like I said, I’m all about honesty, and if I see something that I don’t like… I’m going to call it out.
(Her gaze centers on the title.)
Winona Hendrickson: And frankly? I don’t like the idea of you being the Interwire Champion. So, I’m going to claim it for myself.
Effy McAvoy: Y-you…
(Effy snarls, but Winona begins taking her leave. She hops down from the apron, and turns to her one last time.)
Winona Hendrickson: See you soon, Effy.
(She leaves. Effy fumes. Ahren looks annoyed, stroking Jennipurr behind the ears hastily to calm himself as he shakes his head.)
Flannery McCoy: Well, that was tense. Winona is eyeing being Effy’s first challenger, and she doesn’t seem to hold her in high regard. We can only imagine what this will develop into between these two women!
(From there, Dynasty fades to commercials.)
(A commercial plays for Shock Value.)
Stephie Love: The following is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘TEFLON DON’ by Future blares throughout the arena and Jamie Valdez emerges from the back for the first time, looking around at the crowd with a look of disgust on her face. She walks down the ramp and multiple fans outstretch their hands for tags, but she yanks her body away and turns to the side before any of them can even have a chance of touching her.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, weighing in at 120 pounds, from Laredo, Texas, she is “THE PRODIGY”, JAAAMMMIIEEEE! VVVALLLDDDEEEZZZZZ!!!
Flannery McCoy: For the last couple of weeks, Valdez has formed a bit of a partnership with Mia Santoro—but it didn’t exactly work out for their favor at Operation: Doomsday. Not only did they lose the match, but Valdez ended up being the one that was pinned to cap it all off! Now Jamie is going to truly have no choice but to prove herself under tough circumstances…
(Jamie’s theme fades out and then “Vent” by Baby Keem ft. Kendrick Lamar hits the speakers as Methuselah marches out from the back with a less than pleasant look on his face. Red and black lights strobe in the arena and fire shoots up behind him. Methuselah doesn’t care much about the theatrics tonight, though—as he storms down and runs up the steps to immediately enter the ring and get ready for the bell to ring.)
Stephie Love: Her opponent, weighing in at 17 stone, from The Mount Adams Observatory, he is “THE OVERMAN”, MEETTHHHUUSSEEEELLLAAAAHHHHHHH!!!
Jake Mercer: The Iron Survivor match had one of the most shocking endings that I’ve ever seen to a match in EAW, as Cy Henderson and Drake King ended up both tying to become the winner of the match, and Methuselah wasn’t happy about it whatsoever. Unfortunately, Valdez is going to have to face his wrath tonight as he looks to bounce back.
(DING DING DING!)
Stew-O: That’s the sound of the bell and Methuselah has his work cut out for him as Jamie Valdez immediately flies into a dropkick to the knee! Methuselah falls to a knee and Valdez rises, throwing repeated forearms to the skull! Methuselah covers up, and Jamie turns around, quickly running the ropes…
Jake Mercer: But he pushes up to his feet and runs into a knee to the body! Jamie flies over the knee, holding her ribs in pain. Methuselah drags Jamie up and punches her. She falls into the ropes, and Methuselah takes her wrist for an irish whip, but she stomps the toe! She’s doing everything in her power to neutralize his power! A palm strike from Jamie, and she swings another!
Flannery McCoy: Methuselah catches her wrist and starts to squeeze her hand! She cries out in pain, and then he lifts her up by the hand—only for Jamie to wrap her legs around his head and throw him with a headscissors takedown! Methuselah rolls through, and Jamie dropkicks him in the chest! Methuselah falls back, rolling away to the ropes.
Stew-O: She rises, soaring in for a dropkick, but he bypasses her. Jamie bounces off the ropes and Methuselah pops her up in the air. Jamie screams out and she falls flat into her face! Valdez pops up to her feet, holding her ribs in agony as Methuselah takes her out with a knee to the jaw! Jamie goes down, and Methuselah pulls her up.
Jake Mercer: He wraps her arm around the back of her head, lifting her up—only for Jamie to land behind him. She takes him out with a chop block, and Methuselah falls to his fours. Jamie runs the ropes and she leaps into a double foot stomp to the back of Methuselah! He goes down and she rolls over, pinning him!
OOONNN—
Stew-O: Kick out before one by Methuselah! She tries to drag him up, but he sends a punch to the body! He sends another punch, and shoves her off. Jamie bounces off the ropes and Methuselah heaves her up for a flapjack, but she floats over with a sunset flip! Jamie trying to end this one early!
OOOONNNNEE—
Flannery McCoy: Another kickout! Methuselah rolls through to his feet and Jamie twirls into a spin kick, but Methuselah catches her ankle and heaves her up above the canvas, slamming her down with a lariat in mid-air! Jamie’s head bounces off the canvas and Methuselah drags her up to her feet. He grabs her in a front headlock and lifts her up high in the air, but Jamie floats over and dropkicks him into the turnbuckles!
Jake Mercer: She rises up and runs off to the turnbuckles across the ring, but here comes Methuselah with a corner clothesline! She staggers out and he grabs her in a headlock, running to the center of the ring with a bulldog! Methuselah rises to his feet and he’s not done just yet.
Stew-O: He sends a stomp to the side of Jamie’s head. Jamie mutters out in pain, and then he sends another stomp. Jamie is laid out, and Methuselah places his boot to the side of Jamie’s head, grinding the sole of his boot against her forehead! Jamie yelps out in agony, and then Methuselah picks her up from the canvas and scoops her up onto his shoulder. She flails desperately, trying to get free, but Methuselah looks to swing her into a powerslam into the turnbuckles—
Flannery McCoy: Valdez slips off! Dropkick into the turnbuckles! Methuselah holds his chest as he falls. He turns around and Jamie is up to her feet, leaping onto her knees as she tries to bring him down with a monkey flip, but he tosses her to her feet! A swift kick to the gut from Methuselah, and he hooks her head…
Jake Mercer: SNAP SUPLEX INTO THE TURNBUCKLES! GOOD GOD! VALDEZ FACEPLANTS ONTO THE MAT! METHUSELAH DRAGS HER AWAY AND HE HOOKS THE LEGS FOR THE COVER!
OOOONNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWOOOO—
Stew-O: Jamie grabs the bottom rope! Methuselah sits up, shaking his head. Valdez takes the ropes and rolls underneath the bottom rope, clutching at her back in pain. Methuselah rises to his feet and runs the ropes, looking to take off for a knee off the apron—
Jake Mercer: But she moves and Methuselah’s leg gets trapped through the bottom rope! Jamie backs up, building steam as she leaps into a diving double foot stomp to the knee of Methuselah! He howls out in pain, trying to fall for the canvas—but she catches his leg just before. She cranks on the leg, twisting and turning into a DRAGON SCREW LEGWHIP! METHUSELAH GOES DOWN AND HE CLUTCHES AT HIS LEG IN AGONY!
Flannery McCoy: He bangs his fist on the canvas, and now Jamie is the one who’s taken advantage! She swivels back onto the apron and slowly makes her way up… Methuselah is still down, holding his leg in pain. She sees this and leaps off the top rope! SENTON TO THE KNEE OF METHUSELAH! AND NOW JAMIE IS REALLY BEGINNING TO TAKE OVER!
Stew-O: She hooks the bad leg for the cover and Methuselah is out of it!
OOOONNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWOOOO—
Jake Mercer: Methuselah gets his shoulder up in time, thank Gawd! Jamie shakes her head as she rises to her feet. She tries to grab him by the hair, but he just topples back over. Jamie continues to stomp at him, knowing it’s going to be Hell to get such an imposing man up to his feet, and the referee intervenes as he’s laid out against the ropes.
Referee: (off-mic) Off the ropes, Valdez! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Jamie Valdez: (off-mic) Shut up! Tell him to get up and we wouldn’t be on the ropes!
Stew-O: Jamie paces around the ring, clearly irritated, as Methuselah takes the ropes and is slowly making his way up to his feet… but as he does so, Jamie sends a kick to the back of his leg! He falls to a kneeling position against the ropes, and Jamie quickly runs off, seeing her opportunity!
Flannery McCoy: Meteora to the back of the head! Methuselah goes down and he clutches at the back of his head, groaning out in pain. He rolls away and Jamie drops down, hooking the legs for the cover once again! This could be it right here!
OOOONNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWOOOO!!!
Jake Mercer: METHUSELAH KICKS OUT AGAIN! Jamie sits up and she sighs. There’s nothing that Valdez would love more than for this match to be over. Methuselah rolls over and he plants his hands on the canvas, trying to get up. Jamie shakes her head, she pulls him by the hair and he slowly rises at the same time. Methuselah sends a punch to the body, and another one!
Flannery McCoy: Jamie with an oblique kick to that knee! Methuselah stumbles forward and Jamie turns around, quickly running the ropes with her eyes set on winning this one! She performs a tilt-a-whirl around the body of Methuselah, trying to swivel into the ‘PRODIGY DESTROYER’ — BUT METHUSELAH HANGS ONTO HER LEGS JUST IN TIME!
Stew-O: Valdez’s eyes go wide, as Methuselah slams her down with an ALABAMA SLAM! VALDEZ’S HEAD BOUNCED, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT! Methuselah falls to a knee, holding at his leg in pain! Jamie rolls away, kicking her legs on the canvas! He rolls over, slowly pushing up to his feet, and Jamie has no clue of where she’s at right now! She tries to work her way up to her feet…
Jake Mercer: But here comes Methuselah with a kick to the gut! He double underhooks the arms, and heaves her up! ‘Meth FX!’ THE BUTTERFLY SUPLEX connects, and Jamie is in pain! He’s not done, though! Methuselah rolls through with Jamie still in his grasp, looking to capitalize with another—
Flannery McCoy: —but she floats over the shoulder of Methuselah and throws her entire body into a chop block! Methuselah falls over, and Jamie is still holding at her back. She slaps the mat, using that to propel herself back up to her feet! Methuselah is up and he tries to stop her…
Stew-O: BUT SHE SPRINGBOARDS TO THE MIDDLE ROPE AND FRONTFLIPS TOWARDS METHUSELAH! ‘DESTINY CUTTER!’ WHAT A MOVE! METHUSELAH JUST GOT PLANTED FACE-FIRST INTO THE CANVAS! JAMIE ROLLS HIM OVER AND SHE QUICKLY HOOKS THE LEGS! WE COULD BE LOOKING AT A MASSIVE UPSET HERE!
OOOONNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWOOOO!!!
TTTHHHH—
Flannery McCoy: But it’s just not enough! METHUSELAH WITH A SHOULDER UP! Jamie sits up, and she looks around in disbelief. However, that’s just how tough of an opponent Methuselah is and Jamie is slowly beginning to understand that in real time!
Stew-O: Nonetheless, she wants to end this one! Jamie rises to her feet and she exits to the apron. Valdez makes her way up top and she gets there, pointing down to Methuselah! This is a big risk that she’s taking, but she doesn’t care… The win is right there!
Jake Mercer: VALDEZ LEAPS OFF THE TOP! ‘POETRY IN SILENCE!!!’
Stew-O: NO! METHUSELAH ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! AND VALDEZ GOES CRASHING AND BURNING INTO THE CANVAS! GOODNESS! JAMIE ROLLS AWAY, HOLDING HER BODY IN PAIN! Methuselah takes the ropes, taking his time to get back up, thanks to the pain shooting through that knee!
Flannery McCoy: She slowly rises, and Methuselah is stalking her up to her feet! He bounces off the ropes and Jamie turns around… ‘UCONN LARIAT!’ DAMN NEAR TOOK HER HEAD OFF WITH THAT ONE! VALDEZ IS OUT OF IT! Methuselah falls against the ropes, slapping some feeling back into that knee! But given how it’s looking right now, he’ll have time to kill!
Jake Mercer: Valdez lies flat onto her face, and Methuselah stumbles up. He pulls her up into a front facelock and slowly pulls her up, lifting Jamie up—but that bad knee is still giving him trouble as they stagger backwards… ‘METH KNELL!’
Stew-O: HE DROPS HER RIGHT ON THE TOP OF HER HEAD! VALDEZ IS ENTIRELY OUT OF IT! METHUSELAH ROLLS OVER AND HE HOOKS THE LEGS FOR THE WIN!
OOOONNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWOOOO!!!
TTTHHHHRRRRRREEEEEE—
Flannery McCoy: ONLY FOR JAMIE TO GET HER FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE! HOW CLOSE WAS THAT?! ONCE AGAIN, JAMIE GETS THE ROPE! AND THIS TIME, IT’S BECAUSE METHUSELAH COULDN’T KEEP HIS BALANCE!
Jake Mercer: He’s going to be beating himself up for that mistake, no doubt about it! He rolls away, taking the ropes. He pulls himself up to his feet and he limps towards Jamie, who is still laid out on the canvas. Methuselah hunches over, slowly grabbing her and pulling her up…
Stew-O: But she wraps her arms around his leg, desperately! Methuselah sends down clubbing blows to the back, and then he wraps her arms around her waist, heaving her up into gutwrench position—
Flannery McCoy: BUT JAMIE COUNTERS WITH A HURRICANRANA INTO THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE! METHUSELAH BOUNCES OFF! JAMIE IS UP TO HER FEET AND SHE RUNS THE ROPES! TILT-A-WHIRL AROUND THE BODY!
Stew-O: ‘PRODIGY DESTROYER!’ SHE SPIKES METHUSELAH ONTO THE TOP OF HIS HEAD! THE IMPACT LEADS HIM BACK UP TO HIS FEET…
Jake Mercer: AND HE FALLS OUT THE RING THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE AND TOPPLES TO THE CANVAS! WHAT A SEQUENCE FROM VALDEZ, THOUGH! SHE’S GOTTA GET HIM BACK IN THE RING, AND THAT’S A TALL TASK!
Flannery McCoy: Jamie rolls over, realizing this! Methuselah is still down, face-first on the floor! She rolls out, grabbing his hair and tights, but it’s no use! Methuselah isn’t moving! She tries her best to get him up, but he’s still out of it!
Stew-O: Valdez starts slapping his back, doing everything in her power to at least revive him, but he’s pretty much dead weight and this is the last thing that Valdez wants! She falls against the apron, breathing heavily. She looks up to the referee, and sees Methuselah beginning to stir…
Jake Mercer: Jamie rolls into the ring and Methuselah crawls away, slowly beginning to push up to his feet, albeit very dazed. Jamie nods her head and she quickly runs the ropes, looking to keep up the momentum at the very least! Methuselah is rising… AND JAMIE SOARS INTO A SUICIDE DIVE—
Flannery McCoy: METHUSELAH SENDS HER FACE-FIRST INTO THE FLOOR! OH MY GOD! THAT MAY HAVE KNOCKED JAMIE OUT! METHUSELAH DRAGS HER UP AND THROWS HER INTO THE RING! Methuselah slithers in, calling Valdez up!
Stew-O: That’s if she can even rise! Jamie is still holding her mouth in agony, trying to see if she lost any teeth on that… She turns around… SPEEEARRRRR!!
Jake Mercer: OVER FOR THOU! METHUSELAH JUST RAN RIGHT THROUGH VALDEZ! AND HE ROLLS OVER, HOOKING THE LEGS AND COVERING THE SHOULDERS!
OOOONNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWOOOO!!!
TTTHHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner of this match, METHUUSSEEELLAAHHHHH!!!
(Methuselah sits up after the three is counted, shaking his head. He rolls over and slowly pushes up to his feet, shaking out his knee. The referee takes his arm, but he shoos the referee away and raises his arms up on his own accord. The referee checks on Valdez, while Methuselah gingerly makes his way to the ropes and exits the ring.)
Stew-O: That was a damn good performance from Jamie Valdez, but she’s still got a long road before she can truly be up there with EAW’s very best.
Jake Mercer: No doubt about it. Methuselah does what he does best tonight, and that’s conquer adversity through veteran acumen, and honestly, sheer willpower. Jamie had a sound strategy, but she made a massive mistake at the end and paid for it.
Flannery McCoy: That’s all it takes! I’m sure Methuselah was hurt, but I know that he had to have embellished it to some degree, allowing Valdez to make that mistake. Nonetheless, a great win for Methuselah, coming off that crushing Iron Survivor defeat at Operation: Doomsday.
(A commercial plays for Resident Evil Requiem, featuring Milli Banks as Zeno and Bronson Daniels as Victor Gideon.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns to show the backstage area of the Coliseo Amauta, with the camera focusing on Michael Belfort, who is seen standing by with a smile on his face and a microphone in his hand. As the shot pans in, he takes a moment to let the crowd quiet down, before then beginning to speak.)
Michael Belfort: Welcome back to Friday Night Dynasty, and what a show that we’ve had so far! As mentioned earlier, we are on the road to Grand Rampage, meaning that there is a lot to expect going forward, especially when it comes to the rest of the night. Right now, though, my guest at this time is one of the three Iron Survivor participants from last week’s Operation: Doomsday, who unfortunately came up short. Please welcome my guest at this time… Rex McAllister!
(The crowd inside the arena erupts into thunderous cheers as the camera pans over to show Rex McAllister as he makes his way into the scene. He has his ring gear on, preparing for his match later tonight against KASAI, as he has a light smile on his face. He takes a moment to let it all sink in as Michael continues.)
Michael Belfort: Rex, thank you for joining us.
Rex McAllister: The pleasure is all mine.
Michael Belfort: Let’s address the elephant in the room. Last week, you came up short in the Iron Survivor match. It was a hard-fought battle, but ultimately it just didn’t turn out your way. How do you feel about it?
(Rex ponders on this for a moment, looking down at the ground before glancing over at Michael, responding to him.)
Rex McAllister: Here’s the thing, Michael. I know how I should feel. The reality that another World Championship match has slipped through my fingers, it weighs heavily on anyone. But the thing is that I can’t focus on that. I can’t keep my mind on knowing what’s ahead. Last week gave me a brutal reminder that we are on the road to Pain For Pride. The window of opportunity continues to close by the week, and before long, it’s going to close shut. And I don’t want it to close shut on me. So how does Rex McAllister feel about this? Rex McAllister is going to do what he’s always done: get back up, dust himself off, and keep himself moving. And we’re just going to have to see what comes of it from there.
Michael Belfort: And that’s completely understandable. You’re right, we’re on the road to Pain For Pride, and there is no bigger indicator of that than Grand Rampage, which is quickly coming up. Do you have any idea what’s in store for Rex McAllister there?
(There’s a pause, before Rex shakes his head.)
Rex McAllister: I’ve lived my entire career off uncertainty, and it’s gotten me this far. That type of feeling… It’s an exhilarating thing. I learned a long time ago that it was never a guarantee, and it was never meant to be instantaneous. So wherever the road takes me, it takes me. I’m going to make it to Pain For Pride, and it doesn’t matter what Grand Rampage seems to have in store for me. If I have to compete in the match, so be it. I won it before, I’ll bet on myself again. If someone else decides they want to stand in my way and snuff out my flame, then do so; they’ll see just how hard that ends up being for them. And-
???: We have a problem.
(Rex pauses, as he recognizes the voice, as does Michael, who quickly scurries away. Rex takes a moment before turning around…)
Kassidy Heart: And we’re going to handle it right now.
(Kassidy Heart is seen standing across from Rex McAllister as the crowd reacts loudly. The Hall of Famer is visibly bandaged and bruised from last week’s vicious encounter with the World Heavyweight Champion, yet despite that, to the surprise of many, she is here.)
Rex McAllister: I’m surprised they let you out of the house.
Kassidy Heart: I was gone for a year, and you think Michael Machina was gunna stop me from getting what I want? In your fucking dreams. I guess we both drew the short end of the stick there.
Rex McAllister: Look, if this was about what I said-
Kassidy Heart: I can deal with that, Rex, honestly. Since I’ve come back, I’ve had a whole lot of people saying a whole lot of shit, yet a common trend here is that when I confront them about it, they back off. And personally, I’m not in the business of being passive, especially when I let so many people step over me at my own expense, out of the generosity of my shrilled, blackened heart. So again, we have a problem. And I don’t like repeating myself.
Rex McAllister: It was nothing against you, Kassidy. We both know how good we are; we’ve co-existed alongside one another in this company for years. But the end goal was always Michael Machina and the World Heavyweight Championship. This wasn’t me counting you out, and if there was a world where we both got what we wanted at Operation: Doomsday, I wouldn’t be mad at it either. But my entire season was building toward that; it was nothing against you and your intentions of throwing a wrench into Dynasty’s plans. But if you really think that we have a problem here…
(Rex steps toward Kassidy, a serious look on his face.)
Rex McAllister: I’m in agreement that I believe we can handle this the only way we know how. But I’m not going to settle for anything less than a victory. Machina may have beaten you, but it’s my turn now just to show how good I am. And if it means going through you, then that’s what I’m going to have to do.
(Kassidy glares at Rex, clearly not happy at what he just said.)
Kassidy Heart: Okay, Rex. Now you’ve done it.
(Kassidy takes a couple of steps back, as he continues to eye Rex, who does not seem to be backing down whatsoever.)
Kassidy Heart: Be careful what you wish for.
(Kassidy turns around and makes her way out of the scene, leaving Rex to his lonesome. Rex takes a moment to watch her leave before nodding his head as he goes the opposite direction. It’s the very last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty begins to fade to elsewhere.)
- In the aftermath of Operation: Doomsday, several Dynasty Elitists DEMAND they get put in the Grand Rampage match!
(A commercial plays for Reasonable Doubt.)
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘In My Blood’ by The Score can be heard throughout the arena as Rex McAllister makes his way outward from the entrance ramp as he has a positive expression, giving a brief glance toward the audience. Raven Roberts by his side briefly, he looks to her with a reassuring nod, before looking ahead to the ring as he then makes his way down the ramp with optimism for the match.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! From Sea Isle, New Jersey, weighing in at 238 pounds… REXXXXX MCALLISTER!!!
Stew-O: KASAI is all the more of a capable performer, but Rex McAllister has proven to be able to outmatch so many elitists with the art of professional wrestling all the more. McAllister is world renowned for good reason, as he has carved out his own legacy through a great measure of hard work and willpower unlike any other in this entire sport.
Flannery McCoy: Can’t deny that at all! Rex McAllister continues to operate at an increasingly high level despite the years that he has spent as an elitist, who continues to raise that bar every single time. Tonight, KASAI will be quite the immense opponent to compete against as they both look for more momentum!
(‘NAKAMURA’ by Lil Uzi Vert can be heard throughout the speakers, as the audience lets their voices be heard once more with the arrival of KASAI. The Empress of Elite takes in the atmosphere, laughing her way toward the stage as she takes in the energy of the crowd as well. She begins to walk down the ramp, glancing downward to her title for a brief moment as she does so.)
Bella Braxton: Introducing his opponent! From Amani, Kagoshima, Japan! Weighing in at 145 pounds… SHE IS THE EMPRESS OF ELITE… KAAAAAAASAI!!!
Stew-O: KASAI is ready to step right back into the fray as she’s looking to score a big win against the multi-time World Champion tonight, and we all know that Rex McAllister has always presented himself as an increasingly strong opponent to any elitist there is!
Jake Mercer: And they’ll be looking forward to ushering in any semblance of momentum that they can as we’re heading deeper into the latter portion of this season, where they can succeed all the more with victories like these to take as we are looking at one hell of a match here!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And we’re off! We are here with a big match on hand tonight as world class elitists collide in the form of Empress of Elite KASAI & EAW Hall of Famer Rex McAllister! These are two tremendous professional wrestlers who are looking to make the most out of the opportunities that are presenting themselves tonight through this match in particular! They begin by circling around the canvas, properly assessing one another from a viewpoint specifically attributed to each of them as high level elitists who are looking to garner the most sizable victory for their own momentum to continue moving forward as well!
Flannery McCoy: As they motion forward with a collar and elbow tie-up to begin this match! The referee is keeping a keen eye on the beginning of this match as Rex is very much ushering in the strength advantage in this match, able to slowly and steadily push KASAI back & into the ropes, as the referee now begins to count down on Rex while he is keeping his opponent suppressed against the ropes. Before the five count, Rex decides to steadily back away, as KASAI raises her own hands upward and they then begin to motion back toward the ring! They each begin to step forward once again for another go at the tie-up!
Jake Mercer: But KASAI immediately gets her arms around the head of Rex for a sufficient headlock! KASAI is trying to sink all of her weight downward as she’s using much of her strength here, refusing to allow for another tie-up to alter momentum as this headlock remains strong while Rex is now left in this position here! McAllister knows that he cannot let KASAI motion for too much momentum to be gained on her own end and this match can turn sour just as quickly as it begins! Rex is refusing to let this keep him down for long, as he’s not looking to wait too long to make the most out of this while hoisting her upward AS HE LOOKS TO—
Stew-O: BUT KASAI SINKS HER WEIGHT DOWN & DOESN’T LET REX COMMIT! She continuously shakes her head as she shifts into a guillotine choke! KASAI is looking to apply a more strengthened crank to her choke to ensure that there is not a possible way for Rex to free himself, but it is still quite early in this match as McAllister is now rising up to his feet! KASAI is keeping the choke strong but Rex doesn’t waste another second to drag KASAI toward the ropes, and uses the extra momentum of the ropes to shove himself away to free himself from the choke! KASAI is backed into the ropes as she is now rebounding toward him!
Flannery McCoy: HIGH KICK FROM KASAI AS SHE REBOUNDS FORWARD! Landing flush into Rex as he finds himself staggering back and against the ropes, clutching onto the middle rope with a hand as he now has a palm coiled around his own jaw! KASAI is taking notice of this, nodding to herself as he sees that Rex will have to try and recover more effectively here if he wants to find himself back in this match! KASAI is now looking to take advantage while she can, as she understands how Rex is left in a vulnerable position before looking for a RUNNING SUPERKICK!
Jake Mercer: REX DUCKS UNDER THE KICK—AND TAKES HOLD OF KASAI WITH AN OVERHEAD BELLY TO BELLY OVER THE TOP ROPE! KASAI HOLDS ON!!! KASAI holds onto the top rope to keep herself from collapsing down to the ringside floor, but this can go terribly for KASAI if she doesn’t try and get herself out of this spot as she’s clutching onto her own midsection with an arm! KASAI is vulnerable for the moment as Rex is able to create this space between themselves while looking to maintain focus! The former Universal Women’s Champion is trying to shake off the gourdbuster while Rex is given ample time to recover, as he looks for A KNEE LIFT!
Stew-O: KASAI MOVES AWAY— WITH A BACK ELBOW TO STAGGER HIM!! Rex can’t make much setback happen in the form of control as KASAI is more than capable of returning the fire, as she finds herself in a much more advantageous spot here now that Rex himself is staggered! KASAI now sees that there is all of the room for herself to make her own control happen here, as she’s bringing herself up to the bottom rope, seeing that she needs to act quickly from here while Rex is staggered within the ring, hooking him closely, LOOKING FOR THE NECKBREAKER OVER THE APRON—
Flannery McCoy: REX SHIFTS AROUND & HOLDS KASAI—AS THE GERMAN SUPLEX INTO THE POST CAUSES KASAI TO COLLAPSE TO THE FLOOR!!! KASAI is left in the struggle as she is immediately writhing in pain with her own back taking the brunt of the fall there as well! KASAI is shaking her own head repeatedly as Rex McAllister has just garnered such a sizable advantage in this match from that precise spot there! With KASAI left leaning against the barricade, all of the pain within her back as she’s remaining stood over the apron, Rex sees what he’s gonna have to take advantage of!
Jake Mercer: As he’s now stepping himself over, steadily propping himself right over the apron as he’s looking to make the absolute most out of what needs to be done from here! KASAI is still staggered, and Rex is not wasting another moment to make sure this ends up going terribly! McAllister pulls KASAI over & with a swift movement he’s—HE’S DELIVERING A SIDE SLAM RIGHT OVER THE BARRICADE!!! KASAI IS DOWN HERE!!! The slam connects with immense force as she’s absolutely feeling all of that right there, this isn’t good!
Stew-O: As everyone at ringside is looking on as well! An immense maneuver from the former multi-time World Champion!!!! Rex McAllister just sent KASAI crashing right onto the barricade with enough precision! He takes hold of KASAI, pushing her back into the ring as he’s looking to hook the leg with urgency to his movements!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
T—
Flannery McCoy: NO! KASAI IS ABLE TO KICK OUT AND STAY IN THIS MATCH!! Rex has to be feeling the urgency begin to kick in as this match is continuing to prove itself as a struggle for each of them! McAllister is motioning upward to a knee, nodding to himself as he knows that KASAI is left in a highly vulnerable state the longer that this match will continue to go! The damage she has already sustained can be a true testament to what she will have to endure through should this match continue further!
Jake Mercer: As he’s continuing to apply all of the pressure that he wants to in this moment, sending repeated forearms across her skull as he doesn’t want KASAI to start mounting any momentum to continue in this match while he still able to maintain much of the pressure that he can! Rex is now dragging KASAI upward, and he’s looking to nail KASAI with much of the offense you can expect, as he’s DEADLIFTING KASAI UPWARD FOR ANOTHER GERMAN SUPLEX FROM HERE—
Stew-O: BUT AN ELBOW FROM KASAI! AND ANOTHER! Rex is forced to let go as he’s clutching onto his own temple afterward, shaking his head as this can turn very poorly for him if he doesn’t continue to remain aggressive when targeting KASAI from here! Rex rushes forward as he doesn’t want to hold himself back here—BUT A SPINNING ELBOW FROM KASAI IS ABLE TO PUT REX DOWN!! KASAI placed all of her own weight into that elbow to make sure that Rex would be going down!
Flannery McCoy: And look at Rex! He’s absolutely dazed after that elbow as KASAI now has her own opportunity that she can absolutely make the most out of from here! McAllister is looking to bring himself back up as this has not been panning out all too graciously for him right now, with KASAI having her own eyes set back onto him as she’s now pulling Rex right over, and she’s able to put Rex back down WITH A BACKSTABBER! Rex is down as KASAI is now rushing herself to the cover as the referee is counting away!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
T—
Jake Mercer: NOT ENOUGH! Rex is able to kick out as now KASAI will have to focus much more in order to put an end to this match & get this win! KASAI is keeping herself ready while looking down to Rex, not interested in holding herself back from doing what she has to here as she’s shifting Rex directly into an OCTOPUS LOCK! KASAI is keeping a strong submission applied here as Rex is now boosting his stance upward as he doesn’t want the pressure to rush to his head or else he’s a goner! He has to find a way out of this!
Stew-O: But KASAI is refusing to let this submission go! Rex is trying to do everything that he can to keep himself mobile as he’s now motioning himself a bit more closely toward the ropes, but KASAI’s constriction is being applied even further in this moment as Rex has been providing enough pushback to keep himself in this match—TILL REX DECIDES TO SHIFT HIS WEIGHT DOWN & INTO KASAI AS HER SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!!! The referee begins counting away as KASAI is squirming to get herself out of this situation!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THR—
Flannery McCoy: KASAI PUSHES REX AWAY TO KICK OUT!! KASAI is wide eyed as she’s now quickly trying to bring herself upward, shaking her head vigorously as she doesn’t want to slow down—BUT REX WITH A KNIFE EDGE CHOP THAT STOPS KASAI RIGHT IN HER TRACKS! This isn’t good for KASAI at all! Rex is looking to uphold all of the momentum that he had in this match as he’s now rushing toward the ropes, and returning right back at KASAI as he looks for AN ELBOW—
Jake Mercer: BUT KASAI RETORTS WITH A KNEE LIFT ACROSS HIS JAW!! Rex can’t commit as he’s under pressure right now, remaining in this dormant state in this situation as KASAI sees her own opportunity forming and taking place right before her eyes! KASAI is now ready to send Rex into the biggest struggle yet, as she’s rushing past him & rebounding from the ropes looking for A SCISSORS KICK TO PUT REX’S LIGHTS OUT!
Stew-O: THE JUMPING KNEE FROM REX CATCHES KASAI DEAD IN HER TRACKS!!! KASAI is staggered and dazed as she’s dropping to a knee, with Rex bringing himself back up to his feet as he’s refusing to slow himself down here! KASAI may be in major trouble from here on out as Rex is now dragging KASAI right over & into position, as he’s got her lined up & PLANTING HER DOWNWARD WITH THE OLYMPIC SLAM!!! THE SLAM SENDS KASAI DOWN AS REX LOOKS FOR THE COVER!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEE—
Flannery McCoy: KICK OUT!!! KASAI IS ABLE TO KICK OUT!! Rex is seeing that there is much more that must be done from here, as this can go either way with how all of this has now progressed into this upper register of the match! KASAI is trying to crawl herself back into a more prominent position, all the while Rex is looking to score the win here as he now backs into the corner, seeing that KASAI is stirring after being spiked into the canvas! KASAI is making the rise, and McAllister is lying in wait as he’s now RUSHING FORWARD WITH REX EFFECT’—
Jake Mercer: ‘DEADLIGHTS’!!!! DISCUS PUNCH FROM KASAI STUNTS REX’S MOMENTUM AT THE NICK OF TIME!!! Rex’s dazed as he drops to a knee, and KASAI sees that another opportunity has arisen from nailing the knee that staggers McAllister incredibly here! KASAI now backs herself away, and she doesn’t waste another second to find herself rushing back toward Rex & now LOOKING TO PUT HIM BACK DOWN WITH ‘ABDICATION’!!! Rex slumps down as KASAI hooks the leg!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEE—
Stew-O: NOT ENOUGH!! KASAI is wide-eyed as she sees that Rex isn’t done! All of the offense that she has thrown and it is still not enough to put Rex McAllister down! KASAI is now rising upward, and she’s looking to put an end to this match as quickly as she manage, as Rex is looking to get himself back up to his feet before KASAI can mount another movement of offense that may end this match for good! KASAI pulls Rex into position, and she’s looking to back away as she’s now MARCHING FORWARD WITH THE ‘MATRICIDE’—
Flannery McCoy: REX MOTIONS UPWARD WITH A SPINNING WHEEL KICK!!! KASAI is dazed after the kick as Rex finds himself motioning back as well, with KASAI being sent into the corner! Rex is now bringing himself upward as he’s getting KASAI up to the top turnbuckle, and he may be looking for an immense game changer in this match as he’s now seeking out an AVALANCHE OLYMPIC SLAM—
Jake Mercer: KASAI TURNS HERSELF AROUND & IS ABLE TO COLLIDE RIGHT ONTO REX WITH A CROSSBODY ONTO THE CANVAS!!! Now McAllister is in trouble here, as KASAI is looking to make good out this, climbing herself back up to the top turnbuckle, as there may be time for the ‘KITSUNE’S BLESSING V2’—
Stew-O: BUT RAVEN MOTIONS UPWARD—AS SHE JUMPS OFF ONCE KASAI TRIES TO NAIL AN ELBOW OVER HER! KASAI lands back down to the canvas, Raven’s eyes glaring up toward KASAI as the Empress of Elite is looking toward Robert’s here—ONLY TO BE CAUGHT BY A ‘REX EFFECT’!!!! KASAI IS SPIKED ONTO THE CANVAS AS MCALLISTER HEADS HIMSELF OVER TO HOOK THE LEG!!!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… REXXXXX MCALLISTER!
Flannery McCoy: Well, that will certainly deliver on building quite a measure of controversy by how that has turned out! Rex is able to pick up the win there, but you truly could argue that KASAI was looking to garner that victory for herself as well!
Jake Mercer: Can’t deny that Raven Roberts did decide to make an interference there in order to cost KASAI, I believe there is still quite a lot left to unpack between those two after she just cost KASAI the match tonight!
(‘In My Blood’ can be heard blaring throughout the speakers once more as the referee raises the arm of Rex McAllister. KASAI leans by the ropes, with a palm along her head as she’s glaring toward Raven, who is remaining by ringside with a glare of her own, with the tension remaining strong as the scene fades.)
(Backstage, Kirk Redwood is seen entering Tyrone Montgomery’s office. He rolls his neck, still feeling some soreness from the triple-threat match he was involved in last week.)
Kirk Redwood: Right—needed to see me ‘bout something?
(And Tyrone, as always, is by his desk. He spins in his chair, facing him.)
Tyrone Montgomery: Yes! Good evening, Kirk, and once again: congratulations on the win at Operation: Doomsday. You really brought your A-game there.
Kirk Redwood: Tch. Thanks, but you don’t have me here just to exchange pleasantries. In fact, I got a keen feeling you might chew me up ‘bout something…
Tyrone Montgomery: What, with you attacking Adam Valentine? Well, I certainly wasn’t happy with that, especially with you taking out a new name indefinitely. But… I’m well aware that this is pro wrestling at the end of the day. You guys are going to have your issues and people will get hurt, one way or another.
(Kirk snorts, slightly amused.)
Kirk Redwood: Now that the Disney shit is no longer infecting us, you’ve been speakin’ a lot more straight.
Tyrone Montgomery: Oh please, don’t remind me of that… I was pretty much shackled by them, but that’s in the past. Right now, I’m concerned for the present, and really, the future. I did say whoever won that triple-threat would get a title match opportunity.
Kirk Redwood: Yeah, that you did. So, what is it?
(Tyrone reclines a bit, smiling.)
Tyrone Montgomery: You get Michael Machina at Grand Rampage. EAW World Heavyweight Championship.
(Kirk’s brow rises at that, and the fans react loudly to the announcement.)
Kirk Redwood: Wait, what? Me and Mike? I don’t got any complaints, but I thought it was either mentioned or implied that those two Iron Survivor jackasses would—
Tyrone Mongtomery: Well, yes, I initially anticipated for Drake and Cy to be the ones to face Michael, but… one of them rejected the idea outright and I fear that situation in its own right is going to be rather messy. We’re just gonna follow along with how the original Iron Survivor went where the winner chose their match at their choosing—and hopefully, those two will settle their crap in time by then.
(Tyrone sighs, then focuses back on Kirk.)
Tyrone Montgomery: But make no mistake: this is not some last-minute bone being thrown at you. You’ve been here for a good while, and frankly, you’ve been more involved in the upper parts of the competition this season. I see the potential in you, truly, and who knows? Perhaps this match can show everyone you’re not someone to mess with—especially when you have faced Michael before.
(That gets Kirk to purse his lips bitterly. Not upset with Tyrone, but knowing he’s fallen short to Michael before.)
Kirk Redwood: Yeah, I have. And I damn sure do want to get a bit of a lickback against him. He’s propped up to hell and it makes me sick.
Tyrone Montgomery: Great. Then it’s settled: you’ll face him with the title on the line. I know you’ll make the most of the moment.
Kirk Redwood: Oh, don’t worry. I will.
(There was… an odd, cold edge to those words. Something that Tyrone picks up on, considering the blink and slight tilt of the head given.)
Tyrone Montgomery: Huh?
Kirk Redwood: What? I’m just lookin’ forward to it is all, boss.
(He smirks.)
Kirk Redwood: In fact? I think I got an idea or two brewin’ in me already.
Tyrone Montgomery: Huh. Well, alright. I can’t wait to see how you make the most of this. Good luck, and have a good rest of your evening.
Kirk Redwood: Yeah. Same to you.
(Kirk goes to leave, that smirk never leaving his face. With the door shut, the final shot is of it being zoomed in on before the feed fades back to ringside where the main event is ready to get underway.)
Stephie Love: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE FOLLOWING IS A TRIOS MATCH SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL, AND IT IS YOUR MAIN EVENT!
(‘Cassie’ by Flyleaf began blaring through the speakers to loud cheers as Winona makes her way out onto the stage. She strikes a pose before her music was interrupted by Cult Leader by KiNG MALA, causing Winona to scowl and the crowd to boo; Mia Santoro arrogantly struts out to the stage as well, taking the spotlight for herself while sneering at Winona. Suddenly, “Razorface” by Celldweller began blaring through the speakers to a large mixed reaction as David Gideon Smith emerges from behind the curtains, ignoring his two partners as he makes his way down to the ring with focus, prompting Mia and Winona to follow.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST! Weighing in at a combined 515 pounds… the team of WINONA HENDRICKSON, MIA SANTORO, AND DAVID GIDEON SMITH!
Stew-O: We’re in for quite the chaotic main event!
Flannery McCoy: That usually tends to be the case for trios matches in general, but in this case, nobody from either team really seems to like each other that much!
Jake Mercer: With this team, all three of them have had their fights, but I’d wager their hatred doesn’t run as deep as their enemies… they’re all looking to get some huge momentum en route to Pain for Pride with the world champ and the iron survivor duo on the other side of the ring! They’ll just need to coexist to get it done!
(Clipse ft Tyler The Creator – P.O.V began blaring through the speakers to a huge mixed reaction as Cy Henderson marched his way out onto the center of the stage, gauging the audience and the opponents already in the ring. Then, ‘When Darkness Falls’ by Killswitch Engage began playing to massive boos as Drake King sauntered out, laughing at the interruption of Cy’s music before the two of them faced each other, glaring daggers at one another. Suddenly, “Apostle’s Warning” by Mobb Deep began blaring to a massive reaction of cheers as Machina stormed out from behind the curtains, stopping Cy and Drake from getting into an argument before they even got to the ring. He mouths something at them before marching past them towards the ring, with Cy and Drake heading towards the ring.)
Stew-O: David, Mia, and Winona may dislike each other, but there is legitimate HATE brewing in this team!
Flannery McCoy: With how the Iron Survivor match ended and what it implies for Machina, the tension is definitely rippling in the air!
Jake Mercer: They have the same challenge as their opponents; whichever team is able to coexist will be able to secure the victory! Who will it be?
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: And the match is underway! It looks like Cy is going to be starting things off for his team, much to Drake’s chagrin, while Winona takes up the mantle for her side to begin with, albeit with some badmouthing from Mia! They begin circling the ring, eyeing each other carefully!
Flannery McCoy: Funnily enough, Cy used to call himself the Justice Seeker while Winona is all about being the Antithesis of Justice. Cy even brought that up in his video this week! It’ll be interesting to see how these two match up in the ring!
Jake Mercer: Cy is going to be bringing the experience for sure, but Winona has proven she’s certainly no slouch in the ring! The two of them end up locking up in the center of the ring, and immediately Cyclone is managing to overpower her with weight advantage, pushing her back forcefully towards the ropes… but Winona suddenly ducks underneath Cy’s arm, getting behind him and shoving him forward into the ropes!
Stew-O: Cy bounces off the ropes and stumbles back into the clutches of Winona, who applies a rear waist lock and immediately looks to execute a German suplex! But Cy, wise veteran that he is, uses his weight advantage again to sandbag her and make the suplex difficult to execute while he pries her arms off his waist!
Flannery McCoy: He keeps his grip on one of her arms and throws it over his shoulder before hoisting her up and SLAMMING her down onto the canvas with a vicious Uranage slam! He peppers her on the ground with a few stomps before attempting to mount her to double down on the damage with some ground and pound!
Jake Mercer: But Winona senses the danger and doesn’t allow it to happen, sliding between Cy’s legs as he tries to mount her in order to escape his clutches! Cy spins around to face her as she scrambles up, but she manages to spin around herself and connects with a HEAVY back elbow right to the side of Cy’s head!
Stew-O: Impressive offense by Winona here, the weight disparity won’t have as much of an effect with strikes! That elbow rocked Cy, leaving him vulnerable to an Irish whip by Winona that sends him running into one of the unoccupied corners! Cy lands with his back against the turnbuckles, and Winona rushes up to him to capitalize!
Flannery McCoy: A flurry of chops lights up the chest of the Force of Nature, with Winona looking to weaken the midsection of the legendary Cyclone as quickly as she can! She takes a few steps back before rushing forward and connecting with a European uppercut, escalating things further! AND THEN A BACK ELBOW WITH THE OTHER ARM IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE UPPERCUT! This is turning out to be quite the barrage from Winona, dealing a ton of damage– OH! Turns out Cy wasn’t TOO dazed because he remained cognizant enough to suddenly lunge forward and shove Winona back, causing her to fall over!
Jake Mercer: But she gets right back up, using the momentum of the shove to execute a back roll and spring back to her feet– OH! BUT CY DOUBLES DOWN, RUSHING FORWARD AND LAUNCHING HER BACK WITH A HEAVY SHOULDER BLOCK!
Stew-O: Winona gets rocked hard by that shoulder block, but she demonstrates some great resilience as she nevertheless manages to scramble up relatively quickly– OH MY GOD! BUT CY IS JUST RUTHLESS, NOT LETTING HER RECUPERATE FOR EVEN A SECOND BEFORE HE RUSHES FORWARD AND FLATTENS HER WITH A BIG BOOT!
Flannery McCoy: Cyclone is known for his dominance, after all! Winona is rocked HARD after that big boot, but Cy drags her back to her feet anyways, mouthing “here’s how it’s done, kid” before spinning her around and LAUNCHING her with a German suplex!
Jake Mercer: This went from great to awful in a matter of seconds for Winona; when you’re facing Cy, you’re really facing a Force of Nature! Cy looks as the German suplex launched Winona far enough to get her right next to her corner, and Mia Santoro tags herself in!
Stew-O: Cy Henderson looks like he’s about to make his way towards Mia to meet her in the center of the ring, but suddenly, he gets tagged by Machina! He spins around, not expecting the surprise tag!
Michael Machina: Be strategic. New opponent on their side, new one on our side; I’m fresh.
Flannery McCoy: He doesn’t wait for a response as he enters the ring, leaving Cy scowling at him before getting back to the corner… right where Drake King is. Oh boy.
Jake Mercer: As you’d expect, Drake immediately starts mouthing off to Cy; I know Machina was thinking about the in-ring strategy, but having those two on the corner together is sort of a recipe for disaster when it comes to the team cohesion!
Stew-O: But he’s not thinking about that as he storms over to Mia Santoro, who immediately rushes forward and attempts a superkick! Machina manages to sidestep it, though, leaving Santoro wide open as Machina latches on a front waist lock and LAUNCHES her with a belly to belly suplex!
Flannery McCoy: WOAH! Some impressive acrobatics by Mia who actually manages to stick the landing on her feet! Machina looks surprised before he rushes over and attempts a shoulder tackle, but again, Mia dives out of the way, leaving Machina to connect with that shoulder tackle to the turnbuckle!
Jake Mercer: Mia’s got the right idea here, using Machina’s own strength and force against him! That seems to have hurt his shoulder to an extent, and Mia frantically rushes over to follow it up with a running dropkick right to the same shoulder to double down on the damage!
Stew-O: That dropkick forces Machina back into the corner, but now he’s angrier than he was before! Those shots to the shoulder didn’t daze him like shots to the head would, so he’s still mentally fresh and ready to pounce as Santoro scrambles back to her feet… JUST TO GET HIT WITH A MASSIVE BIG BOOT!
Flannery McCoy: SANTORO HAS BEEN FLATTENED BY THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! She drops to the ground, and Machina doesn’t waste a second before he steps right past her before leaping up into the air and dropping right onto Mia with a standing moonsault! Machina immediately hooks the leg off of that, looking to get the pin!
ONEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOO-
Jake Mercer: But Mia Santoro, showing some resilience by kicking out, even against the heavy offense of the World Heavyweight Champion! Machina narrows his eyes before hoisting Santoro off the ground with a classic scoop hold before… ANOTHER MOONSAULT! BUT IT’S A MOONSAULT FALLAWAY SLAM, MACHINA COMBINING HIS OWN WEIGHT WITH GRAVITY TO CREATE AN EVEN MORE EFFECTIVE MOVE!
Stew-O: He doesn’t try to go for the pin off of that one, though, instead backing up over to his corner as he rotates his arm, signalling for the MONEY SHOT–
Flannery McCoy: Wait, what?! Drake King just tagged himself in! Machina spins around, furious!
Michael Machina: What the hell are you doing?! I had her right where I wanted her!
Cy Henderson: Are you kidding me?
Drake King: What, you can tag yourself in whenever you want, but when I do it it’s suddenly a crime? She’s got too much left in the tank, she would have dodged it and sent you crashing! I’m just saving you the embarrassment, but of course, nothing but ungratefulness in return.
Jake Mercer: Tensions starting to flare up even more on the champ’s side as Drake makes his way into the ring after having pissed off both of his teammates!
Cy Henderson: Why didn’t you go to one of the other corners? You should’ve known this was going to happen!
Michael Machina: How am I supposed to predict that guy’s latest delusion?!
Stew-O: And they’re still arguing at the corner while Drake steps in, looking to capitalize on the damage that Mia has been dealt, but as he rushes forward and looks to do so, Mia manages to roll far enough towards her corner to get in range of none other than the Sovereign!
Flannery McCoy: David Gideon Smith tags himself in, leaving Mia to roll under the rope to their corner to recuperate! Now the match dynamics have changed, with the height and weight advantage being on the side of David’s team for the first time!
Jake Mercer: David glances from Drake over to Drake’s corner where Machina and Cy still seem to be having words! His gaze returns back to Drake, who doesn’t wait another second as he rushes forward!
Stew-O: A running leaping forearm from Drake sends David staggering back, starting the clash between these two men! David returns fire with a throat thrust to disorient Drake before doubling up with a European uppercut that forces Drake to stagger back!
Flannery McCoy: DGS gets a bit of a running start before he spins upon getting close enough, looking to knock Drake’s head off with a rolling elbow– but Drake manages to duck underneath it, spinning around just as David does before connecting with an Enziguiri!
Jake Mercer: That manages to daze the Sovereign, causing him to stagger back a few steps while Drake kips back up to his feet! He executes an Irish whip, sending David Gideon Smith over into an unoccupied corner before Drake speeds across the ring and connects with the Archdragon with a running knee in the corner!
Stew-O: David gets hit HARD with that knee, causing him to stagger out of the corner clutching at his head in pain! Drake sees this as an opportunity as he nimbly grabs the top rope and leaps over it to get onto the apron before grabbing a hold of it once again and aiming at David!
Flannery McCoy: Drake suddenly launches himself up onto the top rope, springboarding off of it as he hurtles towards the Sovereign, attempting to knock him down with a springboard clothesline– BUT HE GETS CAUGHT IN MID-AIR BY DAVID GIDEON SMITH! DAVID USES DRAKE’S MOMENTUM, TWISTING HIM THROUGH AND DROPPING HIM WITH A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!
Jake Mercer: Drake gets dropped hard enough that he bounces off the canvas! That’s one hell of a landing, but he manages to roll away to the ropes as quickly as he can, using them as leverage to start staggering up as he arches his back in pain! Meanwhile, David starts staggering up as well, still feeling the effects of that running knee!
Stew-O: Once again, David’s eyes flit over to the enemy’s corner before returning to Drake! David bursts into a sprint towards Drake just as the Messiah returns to his feet, looking to take him out with a running big boot– but Drake manages to slide right underneath it, springing back to his feet before clipping the back of David’s head with a superkick!
Flannery McCoy: He didn’t get all of it as David started turning around, but it hit hard enough to knock David off balance! Drake scrambles back up and rushing forward to connect with a rolling elbow that knocks him down to a kneel! David falls further, getting on his hands and knees, causing Drake’s eyes to light up!
Jake Mercer: NO TIME WASTED! DRAKE RUSHES IN AND LOOKS TO CONNECT WITH JUDGEMENT DAY– BUT NO, DAVID PULLED HIS HEAD BACK AT THE LAST MOMENT! THAT MAY HAVE BEEN A TRAP!
Stew-O: David springs up from underneath just as Drake started to bend down to grab at David, before he connects with a European uppercut that’s accentuated by Drake’s positioning! Drake staggers back, nearly falling over when David holds him steady, repositioning themselves before he… HE IRISH WHIPS DRAKE OVER TO HIS OWN CORNER!
Flannery McCoy: That was harder than an Irish whip, he put ALL his weight behind that! That was more of a hammer throw! Drake gets launched into his own corner, inadvertently connecting with both Machina and Cy with back elbows!
Jake Mercer: DAVID’S PLAN COMING INTO FULL EFFECT! THE ENTIRE TEAM SUDDENLY BURST OUT INTO AN ARGUMENT– AND CY JUST SHOVED DRAKE BACK! TAG ROPE WASN’T HELD SO IT DIDN’T COUNT AS A TAG, BUT THAT MOMENTARY DISTRACTION WAS WHAT THE SOVEREIGN WAS COUNTING ON–
Stew-O: BLACK BLADE! BLACK BLADE TO THE BACK OF DRAKE KING’S HEAD! OH GOD, THAT’S NOT ALL! DRAKE BOUNCED OFF THE CANVAS WITH THAT LANDING, AND DAVID IMMEDIATELY CONNECTED WHILE DRAKE’S HEAD WAS IN THE AIR WITH EDGE LOGIC V! THAT FINISHING HAMMER KICK OF HIS!
Flannery McCoy: TWO FOR ONE! IT HAS TO BE OVER! DAVID QUICKLY YANKS DRAKE AWAY FROM HIS CORNER AND HOOKS THE LEG!
ONEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stephie Love: HERE ARE YOUR WINNERS… THE TEAM OF WINONA HENDRICKSON, MIA SANTORO, AND DAVID GIDEON SMITH!
Stew-O: WHAT A FINISH! David saw the immense discord and managed to use it to his advantage to catch Drake off guard with two finishers in a row!
Flannery McCoy: It looks like they just weren’t able to coexist at the end of the day, although their enemies really pushed them into making that implosion happen!
Jake Mercer: Congratulations to the team of David, Mia, and Winona!
(The three winners all get in the ring as they raise their arms in the air in triumph, albeit not wanting to be particularly close to each other with their own tensions remaining. However…)
Stew-O: Drake has rolled out of the ring, with Machina and Cy having dropped down to ringside as well! The champion and the Force of Nature are arguing about what just happened!
Flannery McCoy: Cy did shove him, after all, but it’s not like the reaction was entirely unwarranted!
Jake Mercer: Whoever you want to blame, Cy and Machina are getting heated now, head to head, as Machina shoves Cy and Cy shoves him right back!
Stew-O: And now Drake King grabs at the apron as he staggers up, clutching at his head in pain after getting hit with the Black Blade and Edge Logic V! He’s barely able to get back to his feet using the apron for leverage after that barrage!
Flannery McCoy: But he gets pulled into the argument too! All three of them start yelling at each other… AND THEN DRAKE SHOVES CY! AND MACHINA TOO!
Jake Mercer: OH! AND NOW STRIKES ARE BEING THROWN! THIS HAS COMPLETELY DEVOLVED INTO A BRAWL!
Stew-O: THE THREE OF THEM HAVE STARTED AN ALL OUT WAR RIGHT HERE AT RINGSIDE! PUNCHES, ELBOWS, AND KICKS ARE GETTING LAUNCHED LEFT AND RIGHT AS THEY START FIGHTING EACH OTHER UP THE RAMP!
Flannery McCoy: BUT CY MANAGES TO CAPITALIZE ON THE DAMAGE TO THE HEAD DRAKE TOOK WITH A CYCLONE LARIAT, KNOCKING HIM DOWN!
Jake Mercer: MACHINA FOLLOWS SUIT IMMEDIATELY AFTER THAT, DROPPING CYCLONE THE MOMENT HE TURNS AROUND WITH A BULLET FROM HELL! MACHINA STANDS TALL–
Stew-O: WAIT… WHAT THE HELL?! .50 CAL! MACHINA JUST GOT HIT WITH THE .50 CAL… BY NONE OTHER THAN KIRK REDWOOD! WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING OUT HERE?!
Flannery McCoy: KIRK JUST STARTS BRUTALIZING MACHINA ON THE GROUND OF THE STAGE, HAMMERING AWAY AT HIS HEAD UNTIL HE’S COMPLETELY KNOCKED OUT!
Jake Mercer: Ooooh boy… and he grabs that coveted World Heavyweight Championship, hoisting it up! I think we just realized WHAT exactly Kirk was doing out here!
Stew-O: Is this a sign of things to come?! Kirk just won that triple threat match against Holly and David, and now he’s gunning for the World Heavyweight Champion!
(The video feed lingers as Kirk raises the title over the fallen Machina, talking trash to him as the feed fades to black.)
